Latest / Connor with Honor: AI, Real Estate and Real Life / DeepSeek seems great - is it too good to be true for Americans?
Transcript
- 0:00SPEAKER_00: The artificial intelligence front or the past human intelligence front or post human intelligence front, we've been seeing Deep Seek making a lot of news lately.
- 0:09SPEAKER_00: If you're tuned in, everybody's losing their mind.
- 0:12SPEAKER_00: Because you do have this limited supply of money.
- 0:16SPEAKER_00: It seems like here in the United States, we have all the money in the world to throw at artificial intelligence, massive investors, the businesses are going all in with this stuff.
- 0:26SPEAKER_00: But then you have a communist country that has limited funds, at least it would appear.
- 0:31SPEAKER_00: And again, it's hard to believe everything, but at least it appears they have limited funds.
- 0:35SPEAKER_00: So now the scientists, those developers, had to kind of make it better without throwing money at it.
- 0:41SPEAKER_00: And now, because of that, from what I understand, we have Deep Seek.
- 0:46SPEAKER_00: And it's pretty amazing and it does a very good job, just like everything else.
- 0:50SPEAKER_00: But of course, it's busy all the time now because of everybody using it.
- 0:54SPEAKER_00: But it does save people that want to use that system 20 bucks a month, and that's where OpenAI, that's that charge on that particular platform.
- 1:03SPEAKER_00: So people are looking at Deeks Deep Seek.
- 1:06SPEAKER_00: The question, because they're able to do what they do with less, if you have more and then calculate it with the way that they do what they do, is it going to move the ball so far forward that we actually move past where we are with the current level of understanding of this new intelligence to something even greater, which would be that artificial general intelligence or something just below that super intelligence that might potentially happen relatively quickly after we get a system that's able to learn, able to wrap its mind around things, able to be conscious, able to understand how to self-improve and able to replicate that and do that over and over again.
- 1:52SPEAKER_00: Right now, a lot of businesses are adopting artificial intelligence or past human intelligence in order to try to make their pricing or at least their profit, I should say, better.
- 2:05SPEAKER_00: So they're laying people off, they're implementing artificial intelligence.
- 2:09SPEAKER_00: And for a lot of the consumers out there, I guess it's okay, but for a lot of people, they're irritated when they're watching a video like this and they find out that somebody's cloned themselves and they're using that clone to be able to speak on video.
- 2:23SPEAKER_00: And yes, of course, they're writing the script, probably AI helped.
- 2:27SPEAKER_00: I do these ad lib, I don't have any teleprompter here.
- 2:30SPEAKER_00: I try to do my best to absorb the news and what I think's important and then share that with you folks out there.
- 2:37SPEAKER_00: With artificial intelligence, the biggest thing right now that we have to be wary of is misinformation.
- 2:44SPEAKER_00: Enron and their nuclear egg, God, it looks so good.
- 2:47SPEAKER_00: It looks so amazing, but it was fake.
- 2:50SPEAKER_00: Do your research.
- 2:51SPEAKER_00: I'm Connor with Honor.
- 2:52SPEAKER_00: We'll see you in the next one.
