False humility not for David and me
Why would anyone say something like ~ I Am Nothing? Because my guess is most people who say that are just chiming in with a little false humility.
Have you ever asked yourself any, or all, these three questions:
Am I not important?
Does my life mean nothing?
Do I serve no useful purpose in this world?
The answer to all three of those questions is “no,” by the way.
King David, maybe you’ve heard of him, knew the difference between false humility and humbling himself before God. And he had to learn some hard lessons to get there.
