And also I got a new segment I call it Voltron, and I already spoke down, I already told the guys about that. I'm gonna leave that at the end for surprise. And I got a hot seat section. So let's get started with the first topic of the day. This is kind of everybody, this is a kind of like a 49ers versus the Cowboys on Rivery. You know everybody they've been robbery for years, decades. We got two guests that's passionate about their team. We about to get that heat. So let's go. And fellas, don't hold nothing back. So first question up, let's get right into it. DeeDee: Hello, before we start, can I do something real quick before we start? Johnny: Go ahead, go ahead. You gotcha. I got you. DeeDee: We here. We here. They know what time it is, man. Hey. This ain't edited in. We didn't edit this in, man. This live, man. They know what time it is, man. Hey. Hello, you 40? They know what time it is, man. Johnny: Let's go. Louis: Yeah. Johnny: Peter. Whatever is Louis: Everybody got a plan and they get punched in the mouth, man. DeeDee: All right, let's get it, let's get it, let's get it. I ain't gonna hold y'all time up, man. But this is a real lobby. This robbery be older than me, you know what I'm saying? So it's real B, man. But yeah, let's go ahead and get it. Johnny: ⁓ boy. Exactly. All right, that first question, which franchise has the has been has the best overall the last twenty five years? So let's start with you on. DeeDee: Last twenty five, I gotta give it to us. I'll let you go first, bro. Louis: Mm-hmm. Johnny: Okay. Louis: No, you say is is hey technically it's not. Y'all got a losing record over the past 25 years, if I'm, you know, just to keep it a bean, right? So and we we won, actually won more games than y'all over the past 20 and lost more, right? I mean and lost less of my my fault, ⁓ cor correction. So y'all may been the more, you know, maximize y'all wins or maybe, you know, been to more NFC championships and Super Bowls, and they look good, right? It all that look all that shit look sexy, you feel me? DeeDee: We win when it matters. Louis: A win is a win. You didn't win a big game though, right? At the At the at the end of the day is only one champion. What that question was, Johnny? What that question was, Law. What's the question was? DeeDee: We win when it matters. Set the big game, except the big ones. Johnny: on the last last team, the last twenty five years. Hey. ⁓ DeeDee: Who the best team in the last twenty five years. I mean, y'all ain't even touched Super Bowl soul in the last thirty. I was one the last time y'all went to a Super Bowl. We get there though. We get there. Louis: You know, we we haven't. We we haven't and we we still we still y you get to the pot and can't shit. That's just like getting a girl wet and you can't fuck I mean, excuse my language, Law. You get what I'm saying? Edit that out. But you know, you get you getting a slide hot for the next man to hit the jackpot. Yeah, y'all get a hey, get off the pot if you can't shit. Let somebody else get there, man. Don't worry. We w Johnny: And let's say thirty one years. DeeDee: It's Johnny: You do it. Yeah, I'll give you that ⁓ I got the record in the last DeeDee: The question was who team was better in the last 25 years? You bringing up records. Y'all division has been one of the weakest. Y'all division, the NFC West is one of the toughest divisions in football the last five, ten years. And we still competing. Yeah, I get to roll over the the these ⁓ rebuilding franchises, new the little New York, the little, you know what I'm saying, Redskins, Commanders, whatever you want to call them. Louis: The c the the cowboys. Yeah, the cowboys. Yeah. The cow I reckon it is. East. We ⁓ you talking about ⁓ yeah. Right, right, right. Well we talk We don't we don't make the We don't make the schedule, we just play who in front of us. Johnny: Hey, I agree with you. You know, you you're right. Y'all didn't y'all had a better record wise, record-wise, y'all had a a better ⁓ 25 years. ⁓ Y'all record 40 49ers record the last 25 years. Yeah, this 49ers record the last 25 years. We got 201 wins, 203 losses, one tie, and also 16-11 in the playoffs. Cowboys 219 win, 185 loss, one tie, and four and ten in the ⁓ in the in the playoffs. That sound almost a LeBron James championship. Louis: Yeah, for sure. A way better record. Yeah, yeah. Forty nine is ain't even five hundred. Yeah, yeah. It it do, it do, it sounds just like Bron James, and I ain't making no excuse for it. But overall we do have a better record and that's you know, so that's something to ride home with. But y'all been getting to them trips, I ain't gonna take that from you. I I I like seeing it. I'm a fan of football first. You know. ⁓ Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I give you that. I credit when credit due. But but but their record still, numbers don't lie though, you know. ⁓ Johnny: So Yeah, we get to the chips past that first past that first round payoff. Louis: I'm a dog, man. DeeDee: Man, live women, a lot of number no. Johnny: Hey, the numbers that's that's you know, pre se regular season is pretty good, but it's all about that playoffs. You know, that's the that's the different season. That's when it all counts. So I've been in I've been in basketball leagues where we win. Yeah, I've been in basketball leagues where we won one game, but guess what? In the playoffs we got to the championship. So we did a regular season didn't mean it. So so but yeah, record wise, you know Louis: It is. Yeah, for sure. I'm with you. I agree. I agree with ya on that. ⁓ DeeDee: That's when that that's when Kyle turned into advan. Louis: Man, what kind of league you were playing in? What kind of league that was? DeeDee: Yeah. But I feel like I feel like with the Cowboys, y'all won't get over that hump until Jerry let the head coach take over. If you you agree with that. I said, as for the Cowboys, I feel like y'all not gonna get over that hump till they let Jerry, Jerry let the head coach be a head coach, man. Johnny: Hey, every everybody look everybody made everybody made a playoff. ⁓ Louis: What'd you say? Say that again. DeeDee: Jerry does too much dictating and controlling the roster and you know what I'm saying? You gotta let your coach be a coach. Louis: I mean he is the I mean he he is the GM, right? So he is the owner, you know. So I mean hey hey ⁓ hey he can hey I you know what sometimes he do he can have a little bit too much dip on his chip, you know, but but but you can't i it's his team. He literally owned the brand. He do sometime I wish he do have a little bit too much dip on his chip. And sometime to me he don't have enough dip on his chip when he when he need have it. DeeDee: He got his hands in it a little too much. Johnny: Yeah, I I agree. That's Louis: That's just my opinion, you know what I'm saying? But but I I I get what you're saying to an extent for sure, because I agree with you. You know, sometimes you just gotta get out the way and let, you know, let let people do their job. So yeah, I'm with you on that. Yeah, I feel you on where you're coming from for sure. Johnny: ⁓ Yeah. DeeDee: Yeah, the way Johnny: Exactly. Kinda like with Robert Cra I kinda like with Robert Kraft do. I seem like a lot I think craft is let his coaches do their thing, man. ⁓ that's one thing I respect about New England. ⁓ but that was one of my questions I gonna ask y'all. ⁓ do y'all think until Jerry y'all think as long as Jerry Jones is the like y'all just said the the own in the GM, do the Cowboys have a chance of going to the next level? That's the I know y'all pretty much answered it, but that was one of my questions I had for y'all. But I I kinda I agree with up both of y'all with that one. I just feel like until Jerry Louis: Right, right. Yep. DeeDee: You just show up. He just show up to the game. That's it. Louis: Yes. Johnny: handle the keys. And yep. And no, you I I don't just want to say as all Jerry. I think Steven got a little bit of something in that too. He's not too he he they say he's kind of the one that calms Jerry down, but he has a part in that too. He's next in line for that Louis: But He's he's not completely absorbed from the yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. He's not completely absorbed from, you know, none of that shit. You know what I'm saying? DeeDee: I feel like the year that y'all was the one C, what was that, twenty twenty four, twenty twenty five, when y'all was the one C I had Mark Michael, y'all had the number one defense. That was y'all's year to get there and and win win it all. But I don't know, Green Bay came to Dallas and shook shook shook it up. I feel like that was y'all year to win the championship, the Super Bowl. Louis: Yeah. Johnny: I thought they were us too. Hey, I I didn't Yeah. I I I pray I prayed that I was gonna lose. Louis: Yeah, we I don't know. That that was a that was a good I agree with you on that one. That was a tough. That was a that was a that was a that was a tough L. But to answer your question, dude, I think we will. I I like our chances this year for sure. You know what I mean? I would have liked our chances last year if our defense would have been just average. We need them to be good. We need them to be great. If they just would have been average, I would have liked our chances last year, but we wouldn't, we couldn't even be average. DeeDee: That was the best team y'all had at the minute. I was scared to run into y'all in the playoffs. I ain't gonna lie. I was like, man, I heard we gonna run into them. Louis: But this year for sure, I think we I I like what we got on defense. I like the addition. Jerry was aggressive, I think, more ⁓ this year. We got we got some pieces that we needed on defense that's when we had to, I think maybe the number one offense last year, led by you already know who. So, you know, I I I like what we got. So to answer your question, yeah, this year may be I I like what we got. This year may be it. Johnny: Mm-hmm. Let's go on to that next question. So what franchise y'all think, let's say the next five years, we got a better we have a brighter future, y'all see them doing better. The Forty Nines or the ⁓ or the Cowboys, start with you, D. Louis: Hmm. That's a DeeDee: I got Niners, man. We done clean ship, you know what I'm saying? We done got all the high draft cap players out, you know what I'm saying? We tryna build younger. That's one thing I really didn't agree with what they done this off season. I mean Mike Evans a good player, Christian Kirk, he a good player too, but the whole idea of cleaning the ship was to clear up some money, you know what I'm saying, so we can build younger with these younger players. You didn't pay B Brock Purdy too much. I do feel like we need to replace Nick Bosa, he get hurt every year. But when the team is healthy, you know what I'm saying, we we straight. You know what I'm saying? And we we know how to draft. And I get a kudos to the Cowboys on there too, because they how to draft players too. Most of our players, we draft our players. We don't go out and do blockbuster trades that often. And when we do though, it's a big splash. So I believe on our GM, I believe in Kyle Shanahan. They're gonna get the job done, man. We've been close the last in the twenty twenties, we've been close every other year, man. Johnny: ⁓ yeah. ⁓ yeah. DeeDee: I just need them to lock in, get with it, man, so we can get this ring so I can fly out to Cali and go to the parade, man. I'm waiting. I wanna see a Super Bowl win in my lifetime, man. I'm tired of waiting. Louis: Yeah. Johnny: Right. Louis: I got to see you. I got to see you a few in my lifetime in them nineties. Johnny: I got I can say I saw one. I I I gotta say ⁓ it's it's kinda like what you said, man, we gotta stay healthy. And healthy is pretty much an up and down thing. ⁓ I'm gonna say we, y'all know I got three teams, so you're gonna even say we a couple of times. ⁓ so but but we gotta stay healthy, man. ⁓ DeeDee: Yeah, man. Louis: That boy sound hey hey he sound like Waylow. DeeDee: Hmm. Johnny: Hey, I've been repping those three teams since yeah, I've been repping them three teams since ninety ninety well, eighty nine, forty nine s all my life in ⁓ what, ninety about ninety eight, whenever Donovan came in that league. And well, Randall Cutningham and that them black quarterbacks I talked about last time. But yeah, we just gotta we just gotta stay healthy, man. And also, ⁓ I think shot ⁓ Kyle is he he's putting himself, even though we haven't he haven't won that Super Bowl, but he's putting himself in that top ⁓ quarter I mean coaches, head coaches of all time and that dude is Louis: You got three P's. Mm-hmm. Johnny: He's a talented ass head coach, man. I know his dad was a beast. But he's he's doing his thing. What's your opinion on that, Lou? Louis: Yeah, yeah, yeah. I yeah. Mm-hmm. Hey, I I hey I ain't gonna lie. I love Kyle Shanahan, bruh. I I like his play calling. I I like him and McVay. I like them type of innovative play callers. I I just wish I I like ⁓ the OC we have now for sure. I I like him what we got for sure. I I definitely love him. But previously I wish we could have got a guy who was as innovative. DeeDee: Yeah. Louis: before McCarthy, I wish we could have got a guy just to call the plays like them, you know, just to make things a little bit more 'cause a little bit more confusing, I would say, ⁓ for lack of better term. You know what I mean? Some like, you know, create some distraction in the backfield. You know, I think in the previous years for the Cowboys, McCarthy just had a offer just seemed too archaic. It was no, they would just line up, go beat your man. You know what I mean? It was CD your bus and when and Johnny: Right. Louis: And in today's NFL, everybody talented, everybody fast, everybody got footwork. You got to really skin some shit up. And and and Kyle Shanahan gonna skin some shit up for sure. He definitely gonna do that. So I I'm with ya, I I I'm with you on that. But in the next five years, I think I think we're gonna be better. And that's not just to just to say we're gonna be better, because that's my team. I just think ⁓ let me say this. If y'all hit on y'all y'all ⁓ y'all, y'all got some older guys on that receiving court, you know what I'm saying? Johnny: ⁓ yeah. Louis: And that's what that's what you pointed out. You know what I mean? But y'all do have the draft capital. Right? If y'all hit on the draft capital and make turn some of those picks in the young receivers, you know what I mean? it may be neck and neck. Fred Warner coming off an injury. we got hey, hey, y'all just y'all just traded. Hey, you know who D Winner just came to. You know, he he led y'all in when Fred Warner got hurt, he led y'all in tackles last season. Johnny: I'll bring that up. DeeDee: Yeah. Nick Nick Bosa got George Kittle. Johnny: Yeah. Louis: You know what saying? And yeah, I just shipped them away to who? You know what I mean? So I think over the next, yeah, and I DeeDee: Yeah. Dallas. But we you know, ⁓ Drake Greenlaw came back to us from the ⁓ Broncos, you know, and he went to a AFC championship. He said ain't no place like home. So, I mean Louis: ⁓ he did? Okay. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So it's to me, I I like unless y'all draft capital gets unless y'all hit on those draft picks as far as the receiving court goes, y'all get some good young guys. I don't I don't see y'all being better than us in the next five years. I i and that's and that's granted that we keep our pickings and C D and Ferg and Williams and Blue and DeeDee: Yeah, to Louis: You know, there's if we keep those guys intact, you know what I mean? Or be able to pay you know how that's gonna go with them, you know. DeeDee: Yeah. How many more years do you think that got in them? Louis: I don't know, man. Yeah, I have no idea. That's a good question. Facts. Hundred percent. Yeah. Johnny: We're gonna we're gonna talk about it. We're gonna talk about that. I don't know. DeeDee: Dak Dak a baller though, I ain't gonna lie. That Dak ball out. You know what I'm saying? But he is about thirty two, thirty three. Johnny: Yeah. Yeah, we're gonna we're gonna save that conversation. We know it's coming up. So speaking speaking on ⁓ I guess let's talk about it now. Who who what quarterback y'all think got more pressure coming up this season? Dak or Purdy? And tell me tell me why. Louis: Yeah, yeah, yeah. DeeDee: Party. I would say because Purdy, he just got paid. He's the younger player and he he's been to the NFC championships to the Super Bowl. They're trying to build around him. He's the out of all the sports media, they say if they just upgrade on quarterback, they'll get over the hump. So now it's like, all right, bro, the team believes in you. Kyle believes in you. The GM believes in you. I mean, it's up to you to perform, you know what I'm saying? Like you was doing, being efficient, stopping the turnovers. And Brock, he's a guns flanker. I ain't gonna lie. Like when they played the Br ⁓ the Bears this year, he was doing some Patrick McHolmes-ish type plays. You know what I'm saying? I feel like a lot of pressure on him because like for one, he in the NFC West. You got ⁓ Matthew Stafford coming back, and they just got ⁓ Miles Garrett. So he's gonna be under pressure a lot. You got Seattle Seahawks, best defense in the league last year. So he's gonna be under a lot of pressure. And this this the fan base, you know, the fan base is like Louis: Ayy man. Who the channel man DeeDee: is one of the highest fan base. Like every year we competing. Even with the hurt team last year we got to the ⁓ we almost got to the NSC championship. So i he got a lot of pressure on. Johnny: opinion I think ⁓ I wanna say Dak to for me on because I I think I think he's running out of playing with house money. ⁓ he he keep getting up there and I'm not gonna say it's all this far because that defense the Cowboys have, especially last year man, I think ⁓ our flag team Luke could have did some dear some dirt to you to them. But man, I think I think Dak man ⁓ because he right now he have kind of have no excuse but that's with all the defensive moves the Cowboys making. DeeDee: ⁓ Louis: Thanks. Johnny: That offense is always have a nice offense. ⁓ I'm gonna say I always have a good top five offense to me. ⁓ so I think to me, my opinion, I think Dak has a lot of I think he has more pressure in per for purity, man. They just we can make excuses for him. Like the last couple of years, he's not healthy. ⁓ I mean the team is not healthy. ⁓ they're not healthy. So I think that kind of takeaway from it, but Dak get to me, he's the LeBron of ⁓ of the NFL. It don't matter what he does, he can have one of the greatest seasons ever. They're gonna find some reason fuck with Dak. DeeDee: No a la Yeah. Louis: Yeah. Johnny: I'm just being honest, it don't matter what it is. He g yeah, he went it he went fifteen and one but he lost in this or he threw an interception in when it didn't count, this and that. So I think my opinion I think is dagged. ⁓ that's what I I I think is Dag. What you what you think, Lou? Louis: Man, I I hear both of y'all, but to be honest, that that qu I I don't think I don't think neither one has any more pressure than than the other one, in my opinion. That's you know, I think both both has proven are both proven commodities already. You know what I mean? Being at football, the ultimate team sport, and like you say, Lord Purdy where he had injuries, but not to make an excuse, right? But he had injury. He May whether he being injured or his team been injured or he you know, he didn't have his number one guy ⁓ or in in the same way with that, the defense may have been lacking, you know what I'm saying? And that was what we need to get over the hump. Just one stop, you know. So I don't and I don't think neither one has any pressure. I think is i it's just we they know they need to win it or they want to win it and the the fans deserve it. I think that's all that is. I don't think either one has as much of pressure as the other. Yeah, yeah, that that's what I think. 'Cause to DeeDee: I agree with you. Louis: To me, both of them are proven commodities, whether you want how you want to know how you want to slice it and dice it, you know. So I I like with football being the ultimate team sport, man, you know, you know, law. Both of y'all know one thing can go wrong and the domino effect, and pfft. It ain't like basketball, ⁓ you can just plug in and you you can skate by. It's hard to win football, you know. So I don't think neither one of them other that's pressure than the other, you you know, but I do I expect Johnny: Yeah. But ⁓ at the end of the day. Louis: ⁓ I I expect more from from from the Dak and the Cowboys this year for sure, bas more than I would the 49ers based off what we we what we look like on paper. No, I don't you know, I expect more we you get what I'm saying? I expect us to be better and win more games than you guys. I got more expectation because of what we b do on paper. But the pressure, nah, I think both of them good. My opinion. DeeDee: Yeah. That last drive, that four quarter drive, that last two minutes. Johnny: Hey, but at the end of the day, who always gets that blame? That QB. Don't matter what's going on. That QB. Right. Louis: That QB, yeah, facts. Yeah, man, that's tough. And then if you in Dallas Then if you in Dallas, yeah, that that Dallas QB gonna get more. I don't care who name on back of that jersey. Yeah, yeah, I don't care who name on back of that jersey. That that Dallas QB gonna be Yeah, I don't care who it is. Johnny: See, thank you. That's what I'm saying. And it and it been like that for the cowboys. Yep, and Romo, you go even what you call that that pro that that pressure on them. Everybody. Louis: Romo, ⁓ Testa Verde, Bless O we had him, Quincy Carter, I keep going, man. Everybody. It's gonna it's gonna magnify a thousand times worse. Johnny: Right. Right. Hey, I got a question for y'all next. I need y'all to put that thinking cap on. All right. Who who in the history of Cowboys and Forty Niners had the best wide receiver core of all time? DeeDee: Sheesh. Johnny: ⁓ yeah, I knew I was gonna get y'all to think on this one. I don't think I sent y'all this one. I want I can give y'all a Louis: So let me s so to put so you wanted to put together ⁓ I think like for an example, wants to put together all our receivers, all our best receivers. DeeDee: Yeah. Johnny: Gimme I have a I have a top five, but Let's say this. I have a top five at the end of the show, but give me our top five quarterback, I mean wide receivers. ⁓ and we and we're gonna go from there for this question. Give me our top five quarter on receivers. Let's go ⁓ D. DeeDee: All time. Sheesh. You know I gotta go T O. You know I gotta go Jerry Rice. You know what I'm saying? God Johnny: Mm-hmm. I throw D bowl in there. DeeDee: I would too. I I I'll throw Debo in there. Prime Debo until they ran him to into the dirt. Prime Debo was a different type of player. You know what I'm saying? I'll throw Crabtree in there and I'll throw Anton Bowden in there. And you gotta understand I'm a younger person, so I don't know the the Super Bowl nineties era I mean eighties era. Louis: You gonna put you gon you gonna put Debo over I'm asking you law. I don't know if he knows what what you think about J. J. Stokes, you feel me? I'm just do you remember Johnny: Yeah, very. Hey, I have him on the list, Lou. I was gonna bring it up on mine. I had JJ Stokes and John Taylor on mine. Yeah. And also, hey, I gotta put the white the white clock on there too. ⁓ you know cowboys know catch. You know about Lou know about that catch. DeeDee: JJ Stokes, I have to do my my research. Louis: Hey, Debo ain't messing with none of them boys. The tight end, yeah. There there's ⁓ what's the name? ⁓ Pops ⁓ played for the his son played with Pei Manning. ⁓ Dallas Clark. You know, yeah, I you talking about his son play, yeah. That that was that would that that that was ⁓ that that was a hell of a catch, bruh. I just watched goddamn America's team. Shit. Had to watch it again Johnny: Mm. Yeah. ⁓ yeah. So DeeDee: Hmm. Yeah. Johnny: I I watched I wa I watched that game. She What what you got on yours, Lou? What's your top five? Louis: For the Cowboys, man, you know I I got to go with the playmaker, man. It ain't it ain't nothing like it. I got to go with them. ⁓ I'm gonna go with with Dez for sure. DeeDee: ⁓ yeah, for sure. Johnny: Yeah, yeah. Louis: ⁓ Drew Pearson. I like Drew Pearson. Yeah, ⁓ Johnny: ⁓ got ⁓ on the list. Louis: Man, I I wanna say CD, right? Can say TO, but but them not really players that well not not C D, but a C C D career not finished yet. You know what I mean? Fuck it. C C D. I like ⁓ Johnny: Hey. But you But with T O though, you gotta look at it. He he he did his thing there in on Cowboys. DeeDee: See, we making a case, hang on. Louis: He did. Yeah, he is C D making a strong case, man. A strong case. I I got C D on there. That's four right there. I gotta put C D on there. That's four. Them all eighty eights right there, man. ⁓ I need I need I need one more. Harper. Johnny: ⁓ yeah. ⁓ well. DeeDee: Hmm, the eighty eight. Johnny: I would throw again, I would throw TO on there and ⁓ shit ⁓ TO played for both teams. What about ⁓ what that boy name, Glenn? Louis: That's what I'm saying, yeah. That's the one that play opposite of ⁓ 80. That's the one that's the one that played opposite of Michael Irvin, Harper, Latin Harper. Johnny: What's your name? Glend Eighty? ⁓ how. Louis: Harper, yeah. He was he was plush too, man. You know. I'm gonna go with, yeah, Irvin. Irving, Dez, CD, Drew Pearson. I feel like I'm missing somebody, man. I I'm gonna go with I'm gonna go with Harper. I'm gonna go with Harper. 'Cause Keisha played with us too, but he was drafted too. Johnny: Right. I hated that dude. I can think of is Honestly. Louis: We had some good receivers come through, but yeah, I'm I'm gonna go with I'm gonna go with Harper. Yeah. I ain't gonna say TO just because the 49ers, then they really draft TO if I'm not mistaken, you know. So Yeah, that that's what it yeah. Yeah, I'm I'm gonna I'm that's I'm gonna go with Harper, yeah. Just because of what he did in and then in that run with Irving them, I like that. Johnny: Yeah. I forgot about Twilight. DeeDee: Yeah, I think so. Johnny: Right. Hey, I'm pretty s hey I'm pretty sure we've been leaving out some receivers, but hey, chat, if y'all y'all watching this, put some receivers that we left ⁓ in the comments down low. ⁓ throw this question up. Two questions before we go to commercial break. ⁓ who had a better tight end? Whitney? I mean, ⁓ what his name? Whitten? J Jason Whitten? ⁓ let's go. Brent Jones was ⁓ Jones was nice. I do want to go with Kittos. ⁓ let's go up to date Kittles. DeeDee: James, Jason Lin. Louis: Wind, yeah. DeeDee: We can go Kittle. We can go Vernon Davis. We had some good tight ends. ⁓ that's tough, man. I like Kittle, man. But he's very injury prone. Louis: Yeah. A Yeah. I don't it healthy, healthy. I I'm I'm I'm like kittle. Give me kittle healthy. I I like kidding healthy. Yeah. Yeah. I a healthy kiddo, I take him over Jason with I I I like his to me he everything. He loosened the hips, you know what I mean? He can run routes, he f he he physical, he's strong, you know what I mean? So he he can he can block, yeah, and he can run routes. So I think he does the perfect out ⁓ Johnny: Okay. DeeDee: Yeah, kill kill monster. Johnny: Yeah, dog. DeeDee: Black, yeah. Louis: Dare I say perfect tight end, in my opinion. Yeah, I like him. So g give me him over with him, yeah. DeeDee: People signed in. Johnny: Yeah, I I I agree with you on that one. Should be for the commercial break, get this quick, ⁓ who's win the who win the Super Bowl first Cowboys or Forty Niners? DeeDee: Hmm. Louis: ⁓ you already know you already know who that was, man. Check them 70s out, man. We're gonna win the Super Bowl first, man. We're gonna win it this year, 2026. Johnny: Amen. I'm gonna go to Manus. There you go, this are you. This are you. Louis: Market. Book it. Put it on the calendar, man. That's it. It's it. Johnny: that's saying with that saying we're gonna take a quick commercial break and we'll be right back after these commercials. Get out of second. Man, that was good. I like that one. DeeDee: Whoa. Yes, sir. Johnny: So we're going with We're gonna come back with it. We're gonna come back, y'all, with the Cleveland Brown ⁓ quarterback situation. Wanna talk about that? ⁓ close Deshaun Watson. And what else we got in that one? ⁓ yeah, I got some good questions. ⁓ yeah, ⁓ yeah. You didn't see what the ⁓ head the head coach said? He said graph. ⁓ yeah. They said the own looking good. From the ⁓ from the people, the interviews I was watching, they said that boy almost on that ⁓ before he before it before he saw doing the ⁓ the massage thing. They said he he he he doing his thing. DeeDee: So does Sean Watson he playing this year? Louis: Yeah. Yeah. Them boys in the battle. They in the battle. Yeah, they in the battle. They in a battle back. DeeDee: Yeah. Damn. Louis: A Houston debt. DeeDee: ⁓ yeah, Deshaun Watson was a bad boy in Houston. Louis: Houston down bad for that, man. Johnny: All yeah, let's go. Yeah, they it it didn't look. DeeDee: Yeah. Nah facts. Some of these try to trade all these allegations and start popping up. Louis: What a minute. Johnny: Right. All right y'all. Let's get back into it. I don't know if we gotta stuff on whole y'all up. All right, let's get back to it. Alright, well I'd like to welcome everybody back. We're gonna move on to the hot topics that's going on in NFL. Let's have a ⁓ let's I wanna get y'all opinions on what's going on with the Cleveland Browns situation with the quarterbacks. ⁓ which quarterback do y'all feel give a better chance to for the Cleveland Browns to a chance to win? Deshaun Watson, Shador, Louis: Yeah, as soon as he actually Yeah, that's crazy. DeeDee: Maybe we like it's what we can do. Johnny: ⁓ Gabriel. Louis: A but in DeeDee: I wanna say Deshaun. He got the most experience. If he looking like the old Deshaun Watson, it's gotta be him. I mean, Shador showed a little glamour last year, but this going based off what I've seen before, I just gotta see what I see in preseason. Louis: Yeah. ⁓ for for me, for damn sure ain't Dylan Gabriel, right? I don't know why they even drafted him in the first place before Shador, right? Let's get that out the way. I I I kinda agree. I don't know what Deshaun is gonna look like, you know. I've been seeing training camp videos of him and he he looked good. ⁓ Shador looked good too, right? But Johnny: What about you, Lou? Louis: ⁓ you know every everybody look good before them pads come on right so we just gonna have to see we we we we really just gonna have to see i like ⁓ deshaun like you say if he's anything if he's even 75% of where he was prior to his massage therapist you know hey good good good luck shadow it you know I wish him the best and I'm a Shadow fan for sure right but Johnny: Agree. Yeah, exactly. DeeDee: Is that Johnny: Right. Louis: Deshaun Watson operating like that, Shador is, is, is, is, I'm just stating a fact, Shadur ain't messing with that. You know what I mean? ⁓ just to be honest. I just gotta call a spade a spade. And if he, you know, I'm just calling it what it is. So if Deshaun Watson looking like that, I'm I'm, you know, but but but if he looking Johnny: Like we DeeDee: ⁓ yeah. Johnny: Yeah. Well. DeeDee: Yeah. Johnny: Yeah. My op my my opinion I think is I'll go ahead Lou. Louis: No, you I'm pinning. Go ahead, I'm pinning. Johnny: My my opinion I think is gonna be Watson, man. Only reason why I think Watson because I think he's running out of I ain't gonna say he out of money, but ⁓ he's he need that not he need that next contract. And the last six years he've been having, that up and down, like you said, from the massage to the injuries, I think I think Deshaun ⁓ man he has he has something to prove. Even though Shadow got something prove, but I think it's I I dunno I just got a feeling Watson about a about to kill it on hey. If I'm wrong, I'm wrong, but I just got a finale. ⁓ Louis: Shit he just got a Man, I don't know what other contract they got, they're gonna give him. They just gave him two, what, what the 230 of the the whole contract guaranteed. That that's the the first, and I think only, yeah, yeah, he paid for, you know, he got 230 fully guaranteed. That's the only, I think NFL contract has been like that. Well, he got everything fully guaranteed. But if he spent 230 million, DeeDee: Yeah. Yeah, he he paid. Johnny: Right. Right. Right, but he got that what I wanna say. Hey, you you seen some of these ⁓ shows how NBA players are s ⁓ are so broke. But I don't see Deshaun doing that type of stuff. He stay out the news. But you never know. Louis: Yeah, yeah, yeah, back yeah, yeah. Yeah. Yeah, that's what I mean. Yeah, yeah, but but we never we know nothing about the massage, you know what mean? But hey, hey, I ain't trying to, you know, bring up hey we hash the pad, but we hey you know what I mean? ⁓ no. But I'm with ya on that. I'm with ya on that. If if if he looking anything like he looked before, man, the whole league better watch out to be honest. DeeDee: Yeah. Nah, fast. Johnny: Yeah. ⁓ yeah. Shoot. So what y'all think about ⁓ do y'all think Shadow has a by him by let's see. ⁓ Shador, do you think he's been overlooked because who his dad is? His talent and everything? You think people do y'all think people just like he's only here because his dad name? If you think another another part of this question, you think if Dion wasn't his dad, we still get the the criticisms that he gets. Louis: ⁓ hey, a hundred percent, right? The league tried to send a send send ⁓ make an example out of him. So I I agree his his they hate on his son because they hated on him. And they did. If you know anything about Dion, when that boy came out this ⁓ when he came to college, he was talking shit, right? When he was getting drafted, he was talking shit. Johnny: Yeah, yeah. DeeDee: Yes, too. Louis: That that's Dion, that's his personality. And you know who ain't like that, right? You know who ain't like that. They don't like that. Confident black man, young. I went even gonna say arrogant. Young, confident, spoke, spoke good, good vocabulary, you know, smart. You know what I mean? You couldn't trick him out of his spot. You you you you feel me? Never talk down on nobody, right? And they didn't like that, right? So of course, part of that being. Johnny: Exactly. Louis: was because of his daddy. I I've some of the the player that the the Saints drafted, the Tyler Shaw, right? I'm gonna tell you his breakdown. I'm gonna tell you do you think this Hayden or not? I think Tyler Shaw had like what six, eight years in college, if not yet, if I'm not mistaken, right? Go Google how many times he's been hurt. Go Google how many times he he has been hurt, right? Based off that alone, just forget the name, right? DeeDee: Yeah, old player. Louis: If you see that as a GM or anything, you're not you ain't gonna wanna draft that player, right? Especially when you got a another healthy quarterback that's better, right? Th than than than Tyler Shaw is or was, right? So of course I think that it's he they hating on him because of his dad, who his dad is, right? That there's no yeah, there's there's there's no secret to that. And who cares if he got there because of his name, because his daddy, right? Because Eli Manning, Payton Manning, right? Arch Manning, right? I gotta keep going, Norf Turner. DeeDee: Black ball. Yeah. Mm-hmm. Louis: Cal Shanahan, Mike Shanahan, the whole league is off nepotism, right? DeeDee: Yeah. That's what you're supposed to want. You should wanna leave that legacy for your kids, you know? Leave that door open. Give ⁓ that opportunity. Louis: Yeah, that w that that what you w the you know, so yeah yeah. Exactly. And it's just like it's I was just about to say that, you know, they do it all the time. Stephen Jones, Jerry Jones, you I can keep going. You know what I mean? It it it it's all it is, is nepotism. So it because of his daddy, yes, it's because of his own hard work. Of course, two things can be true. You feel me? 'Ca 'cause he ain't no slouch. He can ball, you know what I mean? So, you know DeeDee: When our race do it, it's a problem. Johnny: ⁓ yeah. ⁓ Louis: Hey, I I think yeah, so I think yes and yes, for sure. DeeDee: You definitely can bow. I agree with everything he said, yes and yes, man. Cause he showed glimpse of a good player last year. Even when he played the Niners last year, I watched that game and he he played pretty good and not a lot of mistakes. Had him ⁓ close b ⁓ before halftime, you know. So he played a decent game. And he was and you know, the Niners defense ain't nothing to slouch slouch on. Even though we had injuries, we still was a top defense, you know. So he he showed some glimpse. Louis: I Y'all be y'all before now the defense be thumping our ass. ⁓ shit. Pause. Fuck. Ooh. Man. Look at Johnny: Mm-hmm. DeeDee: Yeah, man. We had ⁓ Robert Solomon. You know, Robert Solomon, you know what I'm saying? He was that dude. I hate he went to Tennessee, but we always end up getting a good defensive coordinator. We got ⁓ the Falcons head coach of Kane. So Louis: Mm-hmm. That damn Fred Warner boy and that damn Dre Greenlaw, that yeah, them boys. Man, them boy be be thump them boy be thumping some shit. ⁓ man, I'm I ain't gonna lie, man. Them them 49 defense, you better bring your fucking lunch pill to work. Hey. Yeah, hey, right now, right now y'all a little wounded. Y'all kinda in a little, I don't wanna say rebuild, but I don't know what y'all got going, but hey. Johnny: Right. Two. ⁓ yeah. DeeDee: That's a two-headed monster. Johnny: Exactly. ⁓ hell yeah. DeeDee: Mm. Yeah. Louis: In past years, I ain't gonna sit here and fake like this. Man, look yourself. Yeah, yeah, I'll be yeah, them deep in with nights. DeeDee: Ha ha. Johnny: Right. So the next question I got for y'all, what team what team y'all think on s I it's still early, but from what y'all seen was going on with the trades, ⁓ team people going to different teams, what team y'all think will surprise be the surprise team this year? Louis: Mm-hmm. Placing DeeDee: Vikings. Johnny: And Kyler gonna do it? Louis: Hmm. Ooh. DeeDee: Man, collar, they just got ⁓ JJ from our team. They got ⁓ dang, hold on, they got what's that boy's name? ⁓ 18. Justin Jefferson. They just got our ⁓ our fucking JJ. what's his name? Our receiver they just got, number fifteen. Juwan Jennings. They just got Jennings. ⁓ they got Addison. Johnny: Yeah. Louis: I know you talking about Warren Jennings, yeah. DeeDee: They defense was already stout. I feel like if Carla put down that PlayStation controller, they can be the surprise team. Louis: I I I like that. I like that. I like that. I like that. Hey, hey, who you think out the AOC though? DeeDee: But so Johnny: Okay. Yeah. That's a good one. DeeDee: Got the AFC. Hmm. Man, the AFC always got them the big top dogs. You know, you got the Cheese, the Ravens, the Bills. Yeah, they they did some trades. They did some trades. Louis: Yeah. Johnny: I'm gonna say I'm gonna say cleaver. Louis: You say Cleveland? I say Johnny: Yeah, I'm gonna go clean, me. Yeah. 'Cause ⁓ hey, they can't get wor no worse. ⁓ So ⁓ I just think the quarterback was a big problem. DeeDee: Thanks. Louis: Yeah, yeah. Anything. DeeDee: I say the AFC the the Dolphins might do something. ⁓ they just got that quarterback from Green Bay and ⁓ Malik Willis. He he balled out every time he played. So Louis: Ooh. ⁓ yeah, yeah. He is pretty decent. He is. He is pretty decent. He to me, he'll upgrade from tour. I I can agree with you on that. I think he is. Yeah. Yeah, he'll upgrade from tour to me, yeah. DeeDee: If ⁓ for sure. He can throw the ball for sure. When they played the Bears twice, he played the Bears twice last year. He he put on the show every time he stepped on the field. So I got faith in him. Tyrese, he'll get healthy. You know, ⁓ Tua couldn't throw the ball twenty yards down the field. Now you got somebody that can launch it kind of like Louis: The dolphins got the the I thought I thought they l I thought they let him ⁓ did they let him go? I thought they let him go. Did they cut a ⁓ not two ⁓ what's the ⁓ Tyree? T Tyreek still in Miami? Johnny: Well two in Atlanta. Yeah, two in Atlanta. DeeDee: Yeah, they could you talking about Tyree? I think he's still I think he's still a dolphin. Louis: Okay, okay, I know that but dolphins. Johnny: Yeah, I I don't think they cut him yet, but I know he I know they cut two with Atlanta, right? Yeah, they cut Yeah. True. Man. Yeah, remember I said surprising team, I didn't say going to the Super Bowl, that's why I said Cleveland. So I didn't I just wanna give that up. Man. Man. DeeDee: Yeah, tour with Atlanta. Louis: Shit. Damn. Yeah. ⁓ you know hey I don't know if it's surprising. DeeDee: Yeah. Louis: But man them them rams, bruh. The ram. DeeDee: Man, I hate them boy. Hey, Matthew Stafford, man, you gotta give him his you gotta give him his props, man. Louis: The Rams, the Rams, the Rams. You got to, you got to, man. The Rams. I say the Rams, man. Last year they were sneaky good, right? Johnny: That is DeeDee: They say Aaron Donald might come out of retirement. I'm like, ⁓ man. Louis: Man, Miles Garrett. Miles Garrett and Ellen. He's not, you know, their defense is already good last year. And they right, and they win and got Miles Garrett. Their defense is already stout last year. They win and got Miles Garrett. Johnny: Be crazy, man. DeeDee: 'Cause you know, Aaron Donald was young, he's not that old. Johnny: Okay. DeeDee: Yeah. They got down Devontae Adams, Puka Nakura. Come on now. The Rams is a superstar team, man. Johnny: Crazy real. Crazy bro. Right. Man, that's ⁓ we're gonna we're gonna get back to some some of that NFL. Let's go into some of this NBA, man. Is it ill is it over for is it over for San Antonio? Louis: No you're I the sort of DeeDee: Bye. They gone. That was it. You blow a lead like that, you deserve to go home. Louis: Yeah. Yeah. It's over. They they day three one and Les Brun and and Dela Dover and all them boys finna come out of retirement is over with for. DeeDee: Resolvo. Louis: Let not our reti. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That shouldn't happen. Johnny: That that was embarrassing, man. That was that was embarrassing. DeeDee: They had it here. You know what I'm saying? They would have two too'd it. And then you got the momentum. You know what I'm saying? You going off a two-game win streak. You got all the momentum. That I think that 30, that that 30 ⁓ point, the 29 lead comeback, man, that hurt their psyche. No matter how much points we put up, we can't play with these boys. That's a mental thing. You just don't blow 29 point leads like that. And then with the Knicks, it's like now, it's like it don't matter how many points we damn buy. Johnny: Exactly. Louis: Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah. And and hey and that's what happened. They they blew it. DeeDee: We can come beat ⁓ Johnny: Exactly. And man, it to me, I think ⁓ it it shows to me because there should be it should be three and one Spurs. Easy, my opinion. But it go to show that like I was talking to ⁓ Corey on the last episode, we me him did the show, they don't have Spurs don't have a true pern guard. Man, ⁓ they have nobody against say slow it down. Like that play that ⁓ Fox did, come on man. If you if you fake it and you run to the three pern line and run around for a little bit more, you lose five more seconds. DeeDee: ⁓ yeah. Louis: Calm down. Johnny: Hey, if he hit the free throws, it's all good. But at least you give yourself a chance to ⁓ do it. So I th I I don't know, man. I I think that was kind of that that was crazy. I I think it's over. What you what you got, Lou? How did you answer that one? Louis: Man, this this Think it's over. I I I agree with what you say a hundred percent, right? They they had Chris Paul in the building, right? Didn't they have Chris Paul in the building at some point, right? You know, hey, and look, you up 29, right? First quarter, Wimby got 13, right? You know, like you say, at that point in time, right? We look, if Jordan had 15 in the first quarter, he ain't trying to go sit down. He's trying to go score 20 in the second quarter. You know what I mean? Johnny: I I say the DeeDee: Yeah, they had Chris Paul. Mm-hmm. Right. Louis: If Kobe had 15 in the first quarter and he hot, he ain't trying to go sit down, right? We'll be missed two shots in the first quarter, right? And and and the coach set him down. Low, you got to keep your foot on their neck, right? You can't do that. This is the this is the NBA finals. You might not never get back here no more. You don't know what would happen. Why would you take him out of the game? And last, like you said, De'Aaron Fox, man. I play, I play 2K a lot, right? Johnny: Exactly. Louis: If somebody did that on 2K with me, I would be yelling through my mic. That was a that was some shit you see niggas do on 2K. That's some shit you see niggas do on 2K. Like we got the game one, but you want to go be greedy and try to score layup. Now we done lost the game. All you had to do is dribble the clock out. Yeah. And like you said, Chris, you DeeDee: Mm. Johnny: Yeah. DeeDee: Dude, headset. Johnny: It's very funny. DeeDee: Yeah. Johnny: Exactly. Exactly. Exactly, exactly. DeeDee: End the game, man. Come on, let's go home. Let's go home. Let's take this build and go home. Johnny: Man. And no one another thing was a killer for me. It's it's those damn three prurners, man. ⁓ they just kept shooting. I understand it was hot the first half on fire, but man, Brent, you got a you got an alien. Which is another thing crazy to me that they it seemed like like you say, he got hot, scored fifteen, and everybody else wanted their wanted their shots and they they wanted their they they they ⁓ they their recognition, I guess, whatever the word is. Instead of going with God got up to lead Louis: Yep. Everybody wanna be the main character. Johnny: Keep feeding this dude, man. I hate ⁓ again, I know the league changed. Everybody wanna shoot three. But that's what lost the game for ⁓ The defense and all these goddamn threes. They went what? Four for, I think five, five for twenty-seven in the in the second half. All right, the three's not working. Let me go ahead and try something new. Jimmy Russell. Yeah, we I think it's Louis: Yep. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. DeeDee: Yeah. Louis: Can't do that. Can't do that. Can't do that. Yep. Yep. Yep. I agree with you. I was just telling the dude at the gym today. Yeah, I thought just telling the dude at the gym today about the three, you know, step Steph Curry done done fucked the head up, man. Everybody know Steph Curry, man. Like you, you know, Wimby, go go get you some post moves, bro. Get you some post moves. You seven foot eighteen. What are you what are you doing? You seven foot eighteen. I I you you DeeDee: Pick up some light. Louis: Hey, Russell, you should never, I seen games where Wimby eight rebounds, nine rebounds. You know, man, look here. Russell Westbrook can go get 10 rebounds in his sleep, right? And he ain't number what, 6'4, 6'5 on a good night. You know what I mean? If I'm eight foot 15, I'm an average 25 rebound. This is gonna be my minimum. I'm gonna start at 25, right? I'm not never leaving the butt under this goal. I'm gonna rebound all day and I'm gonna give me some post moves. I don't understand why he played like that. I don't I don't like that. That that's what kills me about him. Johnny: I can tell you why I can tell you why because if y'all saw the free throws, man, he was getting treated like a little child under there. Then the crazy part is he was in the he was the front guy under the under the ⁓ on the on the line for the free throws. And and ⁓ OG, ⁓ what his name is, Mitchell, one who had the ⁓ broken hand, they was pushing him under the goal like a little boy. So on that note, ⁓ who who y'all feel need to step up for the Spurs? Keep this series going. Louis: Yeah, Mitchell. Yeah, that's Mitchell, yeah. Yep, yep. DeeDee: Wimby done all he can do. Is Wimby a bus at this point? Louis: ⁓ man. Yeah, I can I don't o yeah, I'm I'm with you. ⁓ man. It DeeDee: Fox needs to step up, they the the supporting cast need to step up. Louis: They like to me, like you say, they don't have that true point guard. They they need Fox Fox is okay. He'll have five and six assists. But you need, you should have kept CP in the building. Them five or six assists would turn into thirteen assists, fourteen assists, right? Well, he people under well, he had five or six assists. That's good, but let's go be great. You know what I mean? Chris Powell would have had 13 assists, 14 assists, right? And that would have been the difference in the game, right? And Chris Paul would hit them. Chris Paul wouldn't have missed them look. Johnny: Exactly. Exactly. Louis: Yeah, yeah, Chris Paul wanna miss them shots either. You leave him open, he's gonna yank you in your eyes. Johnny: Right. Shit. Like my opinion, if they don't have the Avengers, it is it don't matter who gonna step up on the team. They need they need they need all Avengers. Louis: Yeah. Thanks, Call Iron Man, Captain America. DeeDee: It's gonna get on the ring. Johnny: Man. Hey, next thing we have a question I got for y'all. ⁓ who do you think changed the game more, LeBron or Steph Curry? Louis: ⁓ that that's too easy, man. That's Steph Curry. LeBron ain't LeBron ain't changed shit. What what did he change? Nah, what did he what? He ain't he ain't he ain't did nothing we ain't he ain't did nothing we ain't never seen. He ain't did with nothing we ain't never seen. He hasn't. He ain't did nothing. DeeDee: ⁓ huh. You know, think LeBron chance again. Johnny: I think he changed the wise on DeeDee: And his pal, that nigga forty two. As far as like three years, Steph, Steph, you gotta guard this man from half court. You can't leave him open at all. You need somebody you need somebody on this hip the whole game. So I can see where you're coming from with that. But as far as overall player, I say LeBron. Louis: Yeah. Yeah, yeah. LeBron ain't changed the game. ⁓ no, no, no. Changing the game, LeBron ain't changed the game. He ain't he what what what it what that ain't something that Bron did that was just spectacular. That like changed the game like, ⁓ I gotta add that. We we seen plenty of LeBron. LeBron just the best LeBron. That's to in my opinion. We Johnny: Yeah. DeeDee: Natural athlete. He's an athlete, like the physical, you know what I'm saying? The physicality. He the whole package. And you're right. I mean, it's been a couple of LeBrons, but he's the best LeBron. So yeah. Louis: Gotta be Yeah, Pi Pippin was Bron before Bron. Johnny: Hello, you know that's my dog. That's my favorite of all time. DeeDee: You said that's your favorite of all time? Johnny: ⁓ Scotty? Scotty my goat, man. If you know me. ⁓ Scotty my goat. Why? Do I need to go in there and pull out all the ⁓ basketball codes I got? Dude, man, I I agree with Lou. I think I think it's Curry because nobody was shooting threes like Curry, man. ⁓ everybody was was getting close to the to the free the three-part line. Curry got him shooting y'all went to the AI the AAU games. Curry got him shooting in their own parking lot. DeeDee: ⁓ Scotty. Louis: Scotty was a dog now. Scotty, that's what I'm saying. LeBron ain't doing nothing that was just transcendent. Hey, hey, I remember Scotty had that dump, man. DeeDee: Yeah. Louis: Mm-hmm. He Johnny: Well I I gotta say it's pretty now. Yep, got him shooting roll. So I get with y'all on that one. Louis: I think yep. Johnny: Alright, this is another NBA question I got for y'all. Put y'all thinking caps on. Which which championship run was more impressive to y'all? The Dirk 2000 the ⁓ mask with Dirk 2011. Remember who they went against? LeBron coming back from ⁓ 2016, coming back three three to one. Or this one, I'm gonna put two in this one. Hakeem Eliza and the Rockets, the 94 and 95. Now remember who Dirk went Dirk went through some dogs. DeeDee: I gotta go with Dirk. I went to that parade. I was a kid, man. That was crazy watching that. We ain't had no faith in ⁓ Dirk. Dirk did that. Louis: Hold on, hold on. Hold on, hold on. Hold not the cut we're my the ninety four ninety five Rockets. Who who who they played? Orlando one year? Was it Orlando? Johnny: Yeah, number three. They beat they beat the Knicks. They beat the Knicks in ninety four, ⁓ in seven games and they swept Orlando ⁓ in on ninety five. Louis: Mm, okay, okay, okay, okay. And they had to go with the West Wood. Okay, okay. Johnny: West they had they went against my Portland Trailblazers. Shit. No, no, no, I'm lying. I'm lying. I'm thinking about Scotty went over there. So did they have ⁓ besides Barclay Phoenix? I think Phoenix. Louis: Phoenix. That was the year that ⁓ I think one of those years ⁓ Mike retired. He just came back. Phoenix, ⁓ I think the Son not the S ⁓ what's the boy's name? Sonics. Johnny: Son Spurs. I mean ⁓ not a Spurs. Sonics, yeah, Sonics. ⁓ Louis: The Sonics, ⁓ yeah, ⁓ Seattle. I'm trying to remember what was really relevant back then. Utah may have been around that time. Yeah, Utah may have been. I don't ⁓ Johnny: ⁓ you saw. Yeah. I think I think I think it's dirty. Louis: Yeah, 'cause they went through what the Kobe Lakers. Yeah. Johnny: I'm gonna tell you the team Dirk won against. He swept Lakers. He he beat James Haldin, ⁓ KD, Russell Westbrook, and he beat the Trailblazers that year. ⁓ when they had Brandon Roy and ⁓ Lamar Altrus, I think they had ⁓ Andre Miller. So Dirk when Dirk. DeeDee: Yeah, dark yeah, man. Louis: Mm-hmm. I know you. Mm-hmm. That was and they whooped and and and they tap Brun on his butt. She's gonna call baby boo. DeeDee: Bron Wade Bosch. Johnny: Hey, come on man. I keep saying man, well I gotta everybody gotta bring up that, you know, ⁓ that's my team, my own my Miami Heat. Even without the before before LeBron was there, I was saying. Louis: No they did. Not one, not one, not one, not two, not three, not four. Fuck out of fuck out of here, man. DeeDee: Yeah. Johnny: I hated that. Exactly. DeeDee: that build on ETA. I say dirt. Yeah. Johnny: So you said who you said D? ⁓ you said which which team? Dirk? You two Louie? Louis: I'm I but I got I like I like Dirk too. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. That that run, that was legendary, bruh. Yeah, yeah. DeeDee: I went to that parade, that man, the whole city of Dallas, man, it was they you see the dirt statue out there now, you know. Louis: Yeah, that that that Dirk Run was legendary, bruh. Shout out Mark Cuban, bruh. Johnny: Right then. DeeDee: Yeah, it's losing their. Johnny: Yeah, exactly. I hate that he sold the team. ⁓ moving on that transition to the next question I got for y'all. Are the Mayors better long term with the Luca trade? Louis: Back, yeah. DeeDee: Nah, I don't think so. Louis: ⁓ it was yeah. DeeDee: Yeah, Luca in his prime like where Luca still look, Luca twenty five, twenty six? Louis: Hey look. Hey hey hey not to mention guess who else they had they had ⁓ I I'm gonna answer your question because guess who else? They had Bronson on that team too. They traded blend Bronson walk out the building. You know, but but to answer your question, ⁓ Johnny: No I say long term. DeeDee: Yeah. Yeah, I don't know what was up with that trade. Louis: I don't know because I although I like Cooper Flag, I don't know if he gonna equate to Luca. He had a good rookie season. But I don't know if he's gonna be, I don't know if he gonna be a Luca. Them big shoes to feel. And I like Cooper Flag. He good, but long term, I don't I I don't know. But I think ⁓ I think Homeboy messed that team up when he traded Luca away. Like I'm not understanding y'all just in the finals, like what? DeeDee: Yeah, that's too. Exactly. He did. Louis: what was you know what w I'm I'm not understanding. So DeeDee: Yes. You was just in the finals. You was almost there. You was that close. A couple of pieces away. You just rebuild. You don't re you don't get that close and rebuild your team. Louis: Yeah. Yeah, I I No not trade away, you're a star player. I mean, I'm box office. Come on, man. Dude I don't understand. And you had Kyrie, ⁓ you know, sh he was hurt ⁓ coming into the he got hurt coming into the season. Yeah. So once once he would have got healthy, everything would've been would have been solid. Yeah. DeeDee: No yeah. They got they build good chemistry. Yeah. Yeah, the the chemistry Luca and Kyrie built in that matter of time was crazy, man. They was gonna be, you know what I'm saying, nice, man. Louis: They had Gaffer, they had some solid big men around them too. Johnny: But I I think ⁓ Exactly. But I think I think for me, I think ⁓ Maz Mal's won it to me. ⁓ reason why I feel like it because ⁓ Luca can't s of course A D couldn't stay healthy too, but you see what he did in LA this year. ⁓ he was of course he gonna average his thirty five. And to me my I tell people all the time to me Luca's just a James Harden. ⁓ who put up numbers and he got further than James Harden, he'd show up some playoffs, but I'm saying stats wise. But DeeDee: Yeah. Johnny: I just think long term, man, I I like what the the Mavs doing. At first it didn't look good. ⁓ but again, I I wanna see how Flag played with a healthy k a healthy ⁓ Kari. And again, they still got the big men. They still trying to build around Flag. And again, they just couldn't stay healthy in my opinion. ⁓ and again Luca didn't stay healthy, so we know how that went with the Lakers in the playoffs. But they got a both play. ⁓ DeeDee: They got a old Clay Thompson, they need to go on his Johnny: I think he's gonna come back with Avengers, especially since he's back single again. ⁓ DeeDee: Yeah, he might show up. He might show up, man. Johnny: Right. So if you ⁓ I guess on the lead off to next one, ⁓ man, let's say if A D it's always a if with damn A D. If A D and Car if A D and ⁓ Irvin would have stayed healthy, how far y'all think that team would have got ⁓ last year? You think they could have probably won it? I I had them winning the championship, me. That's what I DeeDee: Whipped by OK. Louis: Ooh, so by okay. ⁓ DeeDee: Okay C would've put them things on them boys, man. I ain't gonna lie. Louis: Well I last year I I I I I may have a sweep. ⁓ man, gentlemen sweep maybe, you know. Shit, four two maybe, you know. They would have d OKC would have ran through them for sure. Four two, four one, any w a sweep maybe somewhere in between there. It wouldn't have gone past five or six games. So although ⁓ I like A D, a healthy A D and a healthy Kyrie, I just think Johnny: I don't know, man. DeeDee: Yeah. Yeah. Louis: When it comes down to it, okay. C deal with too much for anybody last year. They were just too much for anybody. Yeah, they were just too much. They can them both just too good, man. My opinion. And and and to me, DeeDee: Right. ⁓ Too good and too young, and you don't got a bunch of greedy players. Everybody play their role. Louis: Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Johnny: Yeah. Yeah, you're right. I just think A I think A D man, ⁓ but I saw him the first what eight minutes of that first game, I say, ⁓ man, this the A D we all know and love. But after that, just couldn't stay healthy. But I I think it'd have been hard to stop ⁓ that pick and roll with him and Kit ⁓ Kim and K ⁓ Irvin. I think I don't I don't I just don't see that being a sweep. It'd been a think it'd have been seven, but again, I w I wanna put I wanna I wanna bet against ⁓ OK C. ⁓ Them boys is on the mission, man. DeeDee: They play team ball. Louis: Kyrie. Yeah, yeah. Yeah. Some games. ⁓ no. They got some young play that you know the the ⁓ the other kid ⁓ from Dallas too, the Casey Wallace boy. And he from Dallas, I think. I'm mistaken. Yeah, he from Dallas. DeeDee: ⁓ yeah. Johnny: Hey guys, they have some some dogs, man. DeeDee: Nah, nah, say, then. Yeah. Johnny: All right y'all on that note I'm gonna take we're gonna we're gonna take a quick commercial break. We're gonna be right back after these messages. We're gonna come back on this one. We're gonna talk about ⁓ what y'all thoughts on that Patrick Mahomes five hundred million dollars. ⁓ how did if do y'all think it affect the team or not? Louis: Okay then. How many years he got? Was it over ten years? Johnny: Those bad. Yeah, I think but they 'cause I think they extended it two more years. ⁓ they added two more years to that contract. I think that's what they were saying. DeeDee: Yeah, he deserved that money, man. Louis: Yeah. Right, right. 'Cause it was already like it was already four hundred. Johnny: Mm-hmm. DeeDee: Yeah. Johnny: Right. All right, huh? Let's get let's get on to this one. Everybody, like to thank y'all again for for spinning on the show with us today. We're gonna go on on to the next topic. What are y'all thoughts on the Patrick Mahomes, the Patrick Mahomes extension? Five hundred million dollars. He already was getting four hundred million. Now he got an extra two years, five hundred million dollars. And do y'all think that affect the Kansas City Chiefs with them making major moves? Let's start with you, Lou. Louis: ⁓ I don't think it depends on how many ⁓ how many years or how really that's what how many years and how they paying and and how much they giving them up front, all that kind of matters to me to answer that question fully. But to me I don't think it's I don't think it does because like you said, he already had the four hundred mil prior to that and they put it over like almost like eight to ten years or something like that. So now he they just gave him like another two like another two years, another hundred million, I think, probably, I think it was. Probably an extra hundred mil and another two years. So I don't think it's affect him. That's why they have it broken down like that ⁓ over those years. So I don't think it'll affect them hiring any other receiv hiring, signing any other receivers or anything of that nature, my opinion. But who knows, I I don't think it does. Johnny: Yeah. DeeDee: I agree. I don't think it's gonna affect him. Mahall's a go getter. I feel like Louis: i i if it's constructed that way. I just think they just lack scouting. I don't know Johnny: Thank you. DeeDee: You know what I'm saying? He deserved that money for one. He done brought y'all three Super Bowl rings. ⁓ he third. He still, he got about, you know what I'm saying? He's still in his I feel like he's gonna be one of them p players that play long like Brady. You know what I'm saying? He just gotta stop trying to run with the ball and stuff and become a pocket passer. But you're gonna need to give him some more weapons sooner or later, cause y'all been busting on y'all draft. One of them can't one dude can't stay out of trouble. You know what I'm saying? ⁓ Louis: Yeah. DeeDee: Go get him a weapon. Go get him a name brand receiver. Yeah, I got him an old DeAndre Hobby. Go get him a top-notch receiver and let that man cook. And I I hate the Chiefs. They done took two Super Bowls from my team, man. I but Patrick Mahomes, he's gonna get the job done. I wanna see throwback Patrick Mahomes to where, hey, I don't care how much time on the clock. It's fourth quarter, two minutes. You give Mahomes that ball, you know it's over. Y'all remember back when Mahomes used to step on that field in the fourth quarter, you like, man, I don't care what the score is. He's gonna come back. We need to see that. He had a Tyreek, he had a a prom Travis Kelsey. You need to get him some young players, man. You gotta give him, you know what I'm saying? You gotta go give him some stars. Travis Kelsey thirty four, thirty five now. With Taylor Swift. He out of there, man. You gotta go get him some weapons. But Louis: Mm-hmm. He's gonna make it happen. DeeDee: I don't think the money gonna affect them. Just go get him some way. Y'all got some money, man. Y'all finna get rid of a couple of players. ⁓ what's that? ⁓ D-Tackle man. He ain't gonna be there much longer. He old two. So ⁓ nah, it's ⁓ what's his name? what's his name? Chris Jones, yeah. They the they they big money consumers ain't gonna be there long. So it's just gonna be Patrick Mahomes that's taking all the money. Johnny: Was it forward? No. No. Louis: Chris Jones. Johnny: Yeah. I think ⁓ people sleep on Andrew Andrew ⁓ Andy Reid man. Andy Reid one of the best GMs man, he's gonna figure a way to make that that make that salary cap work. ⁓ so I I I think I don't think it affects like y'all said, ⁓ he had already had four hundred million and they they it have you know, he they still get to what it is, but they do need some younger players and they do need a dog as a receiver. Again, hey, Chario Hill, Charie Kill, come home, man, wave go. Man. DeeDee: ⁓ he's a go code. Yeah. Come home. Louis: I I think it's gonna end up happening. I Johnny: I f how many Super Bowls I I do too, Lou. I I think so. Cause they ready to get him out of Miami. ⁓ they just trying to find the right the right price and the right deal. How many ⁓ Super Bowls you think I don't know who y'all P. Your gold as quarterback is, but let's let's say how many Super Bowls you think he needs to pass Tom Brady? Louis: Yeah, they are, yeah, yeah, yeah. Mm-hmm. DeeDee: ⁓ yeah. Johnny: Patrick Mouse. Or do y'all think he's right there with him now? Louis: Man, why you gotta why you why you gotta why you gotta ask me that question, man? Why why you gotta do that, Law? Why you gotta I'm you know, in my opinion, Tom Brady is not the best quarterback ever. He he's not. He he I ain't saying he trash, I'm not saying he he just the most accomplished quarterback, right? There's all the there's other quarterbacks who I think who DeeDee: How many ready got seven? Six seven? Johnny: Hey, that's what we do, man. That's abated. Louis: definitely been better than Brady, but they're just they just couldn't win a Super Bowl, which is not just solely on a quarterback. So to me, Pat i if I had to script them of everything that we know that they have when I'm doing the eye test, I'm taking Patrick Mahomes every day over over Tom Brady. Every day. Every day. And and I'm taking a lot of other quarterbacks over Patrick Mahomes. I Patrick, but over ⁓ Tom Brady every day. Tom Brady's just more accomplished Johnny: Ready. Louis: In my opinion, I'm not saying that he's not a good quarterback. I'm not saying he he's just more accomplished. He he he he did his job. He didn't wreck the Ferrari, he came through in clutch moments. He he he did his job, right? But there's other quarterbacks who have done their job better than he has, but haven't had the bill a Bill Belly chick or a defense behind his back or you know, so I think it this is my opinion on it. So I think Patrick Mahom his three rings, he he already there. He already there. He already a better proven to me to be a better quarterback than Tom Brady, in my opinion, than Tom Brady. And he's not the only one. You know, I just people just get blinded by the, ⁓ he got seven championships. It's a team sport. It's the ultimate team sport. Yeah, he got the hardware. I don't say he's the most accomplished. It's the ultimate team sport, right? It it's a lot of basketball where Bron can go anywhere. He's gonna get the we know Bron gonna be the reason why they win the chip, right? DeeDee: The hardware Yeah. Louis: It just don't work like that in football. So he he got the most accomplished for sure. But he ain't saying he he ain't top ten or nothing like that. But give me Pat Mahomes every day over Tom Brady. Every day. I don't care. Every day. DeeDee: Yeah. Johnny: You got D. DeeDee: Yeah. I feel like with with Tom, bro, he knew how to orchestrate and put together a offense. It's not gonna be the most flashy offense. He just gonna protect the ball, do his job, and he gonna make sure everybody else do their job. If you ask the players that play with Tom, man, they'll tell you how hard he is. Do the small things and you know what I'm saying, don't nobody do no extra. You know what I'm saying? Even when he took he took that same mindset to he took that same mindset to Tamplin got a marine guy. He called his boy Gronk. Hey Gronk. Louis: Mm. Right, right, yeah. Right. Yeah. A hundred percent. DeeDee: Let's do one for one for the road. The same formula. But he had to have a good defense. He had to have a good defense with him. He seen Bill. Yeah. Exactly. So it's just a plug and play. But as far as talent wise, man, he ain't he ain't messing with Mahomes. Like he said, like Lu said, it's a couple of quarterbacks talent wise that I put over Tom Brady. I put Aaron Rodgers, prime Aaron Rodgers over Tom Brady. Louis: He handpicked that. That team I was just about to say that that team was already good. It was already good. Then Yeah, yeah. A lot a lot of ⁓ I give me jokes. ⁓ hey, hey, hey, give me a rod. I'm with you on that. DeeDee: But time. Yeah. But you know what I'm saying? Tom just knew how to do his job and he knew how to make his the team around him better. You know what I'm saying? He made ⁓ what's Julian Elm Ellerman? He made him a star. You know what I'm saying? Louis: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. It's here too. It's here too. Yeah. Yeah, yeah. Yeah. It i I I'm which it it's here too. Go ahead, Long. Johnny: Like we'll Yeah. I think I was say I think, man, I I agree with everything everybody's saying, but I think man, Brady just he just built different, man. ⁓ I understand ⁓ again, it's kinda like with with ⁓ it's kinda hard to compare. Cause like Lou said with ⁓ C D, Bra ⁓ Patrick Mahomes still writing his his ⁓ his what's we call him. So I just wanna sneak that in there and see what kind of ⁓ feedback I get from y'all. But it's always a good comparison. But I think man, Brady, man, but he we it proven that DeeDee: Yeah. Louis: Mm-hmm. ⁓ It is. Johnny: Belichick didn't do shit once ⁓ once this boy left. ⁓ and Tampa was good, but they couldn't get over that hump. So they had a defense, but they couldn't get over that hump with ⁓ I I don't think because that same team defense tell if I'm wrong or not, that same defense had ⁓ they didn't that same defense in Tampa have ⁓ what what his name is? ⁓ Baker May Mayweather had the same defense. Louis: You knew who was that quarterback that year? DeeDee: Dylan Gable? Gabbard, Gabbard. Louis: No, that that defense Devin White. No, no, Baker Mayfield, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. No, no, no. What it No, hell no, no, no, no, no, no. That's what I'm saying. When Tom left, but really Jameis had that Jane, it was that was James Winston at quarterback. He went 30 for 30, right? He was the quarterback. Johnny: ⁓ at all kind of bready head? DeeDee: Now Mayfield wasn't nervous whole time. Johnny: No I'm saying after Tom left. He didn't have that same defense. DeeDee: James Wilson. Johnny: No, no, I'm saying after Tom left. After Tom left Tampa Bay didn't ⁓ make a big baby. I thought ⁓ I don't know why I thought it was on. Yeah, and I think he had the same defense. Louis: ⁓ I don't I don't know who took over at the time. It may have been baker, I'm not a hundred percent sure. I don't know if somebody DeeDee: It was Baker. Baker lives ⁓ Sony's time. Louis: It wasn't the same defense. I think Devin White, ⁓ didn't he leave? I think Devin White may have left. I think Devin White may have been gone. Some of those guys may have left for retirement. I could be wrong. But I'm with you, Billy Chick ain't do too much when when when ⁓ Brady left, but also too, when Brady got hurt ⁓ some years, they still went like what, eleven and two with Calso at the quarterback, you know what I'm saying? Like they still had winning records whenever Brady got hurt. Yeah. DeeDee: Yep. That's for Jimmy Garoppolo. They put Jimmy G in there and he won the Yeah. Louis: So don't get it twisted like the system wasn't part it. I just think at that point in time when Brady left Bilichick, right? He he learned a system and how to win at that point, right? He learned it by playing in New England. He just took that, he just seen the same formula in Tampa Bay. I got a stout defense, right? I got OJ Howard in my tight end, bring Grunki as in my tight end. He had the two. Three good tight ends, two good running backs. Let me call A B, right? And I had a Hall of Famer receiver in Mike Evans. So it it was still gift wrap to him. I had a de a defensive Todd Todd Bowles, another defensive Hall of Famer coach, you feel me? I had Bruce Arian and a quarterback Whisperer, my other coach. So it was already Taylor May for him to go in and win. You know what I mean? DeeDee: Yeah. Yep. And then and then I feel like the league caught up to Billy Chick's defense, man. You didn't have no goddamn Lamar Jackson's, Josh Allen's. You know what I'm saying? The league got to it. You ain't you ain't got just pocket passers no more. It ain't no ⁓ E ⁓ Peyton Anny's no Phil Rivers. Louis: Mm mm, mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Yeah, you get you got to be do a thread. You got to be yeah. DeeDee: You know what I'm saying? You can't take advantage of that no more. You got Pat Mahomes them now. And so the lead caught up like the coaches, the McVeighs, the Shanahans, the motions with the receivers. So Bill was just, you know what I'm saying? His time just kinda ran out. Time kind of passed him by like, all right, you your defensive style is not adapting to these new, younger quarterbacks. You know what I'm saying? Louis: Yep. Johnny: Right now. Louis: Them boy Yeah, them boy again active. Schemes. Johnny: Right, true. Like DeeDee: The schemes. That's what I'm looking that's the word I look for. The schemes. The schemes have changed so much. Johnny: Right. Sure. Let's ⁓ move on to this. ⁓ I got two LeBron questions for y'all. Why do you think why do y'all think people dis discredit him so much? ⁓ they I hate to use the word hate, but they don't like giving him I guess the love or his his props, in other words. Louis: I think people speak. The people, all right, man. If you want to talk real basketball, not just be a fan, like, you know what I mean? To me, Michael, Michael Jordan is is is is is is is the best player I've seen with my two eyes, right? I'm not just talking about the horror where, right, with my own two eyes, right? And I look at LeBron and I look at Jordan, or even Kobe, right. Johnny: Well yeah. Louis: LeBron just went fucking with them. You know what I mean? And and you speaking from a a real basketball perspective, I can't take nothing away Bron did, right? Nothing. He he great all time scoring leader. I think he role model, everything. Even on the court, I think he's a great player. You feel me? But the people who give him the hate that you speak up to me are people who really just so fanatic of Jordan and they think because ⁓ well, Jordan I or I don't think Jordan the goat ain't mean he's saying Jordan trash, all right? I ain't saying LeBron trash, right? But I think that type of hate just comes from people who don't know real basketball, no real ball. That's what I think. And if you say, you know, just to hate you you can't hate a man like that. Any manner, good father to his kids, a man got his son, you know what I'm saying? Got his son driving to LA. You can't hate on nobody like that. You know what I mean? I don't care what he DeeDee: Yeah. Louis: I don't care if Michael Join my favorite player. I can't never hate on who he is as a person, as a man. I can't hate on his basketball, right? But I can talk the facts. Hey, you you not six and ⁓ right? You don't got six MVPs, right? I'm just saying, you you ain't changed the shoe game. I mean, I I can keep going, right? Johnny: Definitely. I never know I never heard somebody say I might go get a pair of them brines. What's your opinion, D? DeeDee: Yeah. Louis: Double. DeeDee: I agree exactly what Lu said, man. It's just, you know what I'm saying? People try to take like LeBron's a great player, man, but you know what I'm saying? Like he's played the league, he's trained harder up than ⁓ a lot of the other players, like in the offseason he don't play no games, like there'll never probably never be another LeBron. But I mean, he getting up there in age, you starting to see these young players, like the the the game is changing and Louis: Thanks, yeah. I love that. Yeah. DeeDee: You know what I'm saying? I just feel like he ain't like a Kobe, he ain't like a a Jordan, a Magic Johnson. He he brought he like he the best version of he's a he's a a great athlete. Yeah, he's the best he's the best version of LeBron. Like he worked hard. Jordan was smoking cigars and chilling all all season. Yeah. Louis: Of him. Yeah. Yeah. ⁓ Yeah, yeah. Yeah. Gambling, playing golf and Yeah, yeah. Johnny: And you know. Yeah, I I I think it's just the stuff that his his tactics that he do, man. ⁓ from the flopping ⁓ to just taking it's players that it's Grace that's been in the NBA, man, who never complain about not having a team. Man, then this dude didn't had, this is my opinion, he didn't have something, he played a lot of Hall of Famers. And and when you when it when it's time for DeeDee: Yeah, naturally. Louis: Talk they talk. Johnny: He's always got an excuse when he ain't win. I'm hurting, I broke my hand, I did this and that. Man, you had D-Way, you had ⁓ Shaq and Cleveland, even though I know Shaq's at the end of his career, but you still had Boz. ⁓ over here in LA, Luke, you know, Luca. AK ⁓ A D. Yeah, they won it, but Louis: A D Rondo. DeeDee: A D. They won that one though. A D. Louis: Rondo, you feel me? The the bubbly. Johnny: Yeah. I think that's pretty much what is, man. The stuff that he does act is you know, the stuff that he be doing, I think that's what takes away from his greatness. You know, we never have we never nobody say, Man, why why the hell Michael Jordan ⁓ doing this, he's saying that and it said I used to be like, why people always complain about Mike, they say Mike didn't speak up. I kind of feel like Mike is like, if I say this, I'm gonna get hit hit with this. And look, I g I I I give Brian his his kudos. You Brian ⁓ he'll speak on ⁓ DeeDee: Yeah. Louis: I liked it. Yeah. Johnny: Black Lives Matter, this and that, but you see the feedback he gets. So I don't I don't like that shit they be saying, ⁓ shut up and shoot. That's on BS. But you know But I you know, I I feel I feel like it's just it's just the stuff that he do off the court and some of that stuff on the court, that's what takes away from his greatness. ⁓ and to me that's what it that's what I got. But on that note, fellas, ⁓ we're gonna take a quick break. I'm sorry, go ahead, Luke. Get you on here. Louis: Mm-hmm. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Shut up and yeah, yeah, nah, nah, yeah, yeah. DeeDee: Yeah, no, ⁓ either. Louis: Yeah. Hey, I'm with you on that. My bad. I'm with you on that. That that ⁓ like you say, LeBron, he the stuff the what what more could you would have had to win? You you didn't had a Bosch, a way, Ray Allen. I one through 11 was hall was Hall of Fame was on I think everybody on that team was a Hall of Famer almost. You know what I mean? In Miami. Kyrie, Kevin Love. Yeah, so Johnny: Right. ⁓ Kara don't forget Kareem. He wants a chip with Kari, but he played with legends. DeeDee: Yeah, Kyrie. Louis: LeBron should have 12 rings, man. I ain't gonna lie. He should be 12 and old. But give hey man, hey bruh. Shit. Hey, when Kobe got when the Lakers, when Shaq left, Kobe went up to the heat. Hey man, I need some, I need some help or I'm gone. Kobe, and guess what? Kobe went into, and get what? He came Paul Gasal, it Lamar Odom, he came on Tess. Johnny: that's ⁓ yeah. Well but DeeDee: It's all good. Louis: Yeah and you know what I mean? E even ⁓ with Tim Duncan, Tim Duncan ain't go nowhere. Johnny: Exactly. But you know what, you know the difference between LeBron and Kobe, Lou? Kobe didn't go public and say, and he he didn't go public and he threw his teammate under the bus. Like you said, we didn't even though social media was picking up, Kobe, we just like, Kobe like, I wanna win. And what? Players wanna win. So I agree, they would like this like man, I okay, it's like Kobe, you you you need that big man. I'm gonna go get Gasol. Championship. We got Lamar Odom. So Louis: See you. DeeDee: Nope. Louis: Was there? He didn't. He didn't, bro. Nope, that's it. When he got him. And he got the other young boy. I forgot his name. Johnny: That's the difference between them two for me, but yeah, y'all, we're gonna ⁓ take a quick commercial break and we're gonna come right back after this message. ⁓ Louis: Hey, hey, hey, what's that? What's the the other center they had? ⁓ the young, the young, the tall, ⁓ I can't think of his name. He was young, he was really good, but he used to get it, he couldn't say buying them, they're buying them. He used to like, yeah, yeah, he's like racing cars and shit. DeeDee: Yeah, I guess it's Johnny: Then ⁓ right. ⁓ man. If that ball had got hurt, to me, they would have beat the cellicus in the finals. Man. He was he was busting Perkins ass. Louis: Beat the sleeve off of ⁓ Yeah, man, Big Perk, yeah. Big Perk can't do nothing with him. Johnny: Man, this next one, bro, we Hey. Hell no. Well, this next segment, man, y'all botta I can't wait for this one. Ooh, yeah, buddy. This bout to be some shit these next ones, dog. This this is where that debate, I need that fire, ⁓ gonna be that by you. I'm loving this, man. You know what's crazy about doing this on podcasts, Lou? I'll be sitting up here when I'd be writing everything and thinking, I'd be like, how can I make this? How can I make this 45 minutes to hour? But bro, when this without people be like my wife, she's like, ⁓ what made you doing this? I'm like, I told about our group. I say our group, man, we wasn't friends, we'd be fighting each other. Say D, our our group, boy, we you think that we didn't know each other. Louis: What's that? Yeah. Thanks. Thanks. For real. Johnny: But the thing is, it's all love with we so passion. I used to tell ⁓ Lou, ⁓ D that's my ⁓ son my ⁓ my what is my ⁓ my stepson I'm married to I'm married to his mom. ⁓ so that's my son my ⁓ stepson. Johnny: A great ⁓ four year span. But I'm talking about Lone Jeopardy, man, give me prime anytime, but what that boy what that boy Reavers did like so I won't take nothing from him, Reavers Island, we did to those boys the T O, the Moss, but Moss got him at once, but Ocho, ⁓ Andre Johnson, who I'm leaving out, ⁓ DeeDee: Yeah. I'm feel like I'm missing somebody at water. Johnny: I'm gonna I'm gonna tell you you're missing watch when I go. ⁓ Louis: I gotta be missing somebody. Johnny: Yeah, safety. Louis: Yeah, yeah. I liked it, yeah. I like I like Troy. Johnny: I think I probably go ⁓ run on Ronnie Lott, ⁓ Ed Reed. Louis: Got about ⁓ Johnny: ⁓ Dawkins. Gotta go poly ⁓ Palomalu. And Charles motherfucking Woodson. Come on now. When you switch Louis: Mm-hmm. The only reason I didn't say Charles Woodson I was kinda on offense about him and Matt too because both of ⁓ came in as ⁓ corners I think though. That's the only reason why. Johnny: Yeah. But you can do but you can do the same thing for Woodson and Rod and Woodson and Rod Woodson 'cause they both started off at Conans but they became hell of a safeties too. ⁓ so Louis: Sure can, yeah. Hate of a safety. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Most corners do become a good safety sometimes. Johnny: And and Woodson, man, he he was a dog at corner, but he did his thing at say ⁓ at that safety. ⁓ Louis: They safety too, yeah, yeah. He was nice. He was a dog, bruh. Johnny: Hell yeah. So on that note, y'all, we got this is our last commercial break and we'll be right back. ⁓ y'all this is the one I have for y'all ⁓ it's that Votron question for ⁓ for safeties and we'll be out of here after that one. Try if we can get that over with. ⁓ say it again. Voltron, build y'all ⁓ that say safety or cornerback, I say ⁓ Yeah, safety. And that's pretty much ⁓ it's probably gonna be down near two or two two or three ⁓ stages I can think of with a lot of these questions from ⁓ the range to hard hitter, ⁓ football IQ tackle, leadership, ⁓ ball skills, all that stuff. So just this five ⁓ Louis: Safety, yeah, safety. Johnny: But again, a lot of them gonna be probably the same person. Well, I gotta think of it. There you go. Louis: You see it. You're gonna be seeing a lot of this. I don't think we got we got all prime time games, I think, this year, man. Don't worry. 49ers, y'all gonna have y'all ass at the fucking house this year, man. About to knock my shit down. I'm getting so excited. Y'all gonna be, yeah, y'all gonna be at home. Y'all ain't gonna win y'all division. Y'all, cause the Rams and the and the Seahawks gonna be tapping on y'all ass. Johnny: Yeah. Yeah. Ha ha ha. Shoot. All right. ⁓ Louis: Well, I think they didn't mean it last year, but this time I think they meant it. And you see this here? Hey, you see what you know what the fuck going on. Johnny: Delta S, what they say, Belta S. ⁓ Louis: Hey, one thing about them tables, they always turn, you feel me? Johnny: I can't wait for this season, man. I'm ready for this NFL shit to be over with. ⁓ I don't watch too much of preseason of NFL, but I need some I need some football, man. This this NBA season has been disappointing to me. This is the first time I watched basketball. ⁓ let's get in this last one, y'all. We can I know y'all got stuff to do. Louis: Me I'm about to smoke me a J and ⁓ my bad. Johnny: Alright, thank y'all for tuning in again. ⁓ we're on our last segment segment. ⁓ my god, there you go, you good. Alright, ready? Let's get it. Alright, everybody. I'd like to thank y'all for tuning in today for our second show today. Now again, I'd like to thank the guests for being on the show. I thank Lou and D. We're gonna get to our last segment, and this is called a Voltron. If you have to build a Voltron of safeties, free safety, strong safeties, give me five pieces. ⁓ Louis: I told what I'm about to go do. I'm ready. Johnny: five safeties that y'all would go with. ⁓ let's start with ⁓ what you got Lou? And I'm talking about from that's I'm I I'll give you I'll give you this. ⁓ from range and go side to side. Louis: G give me A Reed. I won't A Reed on that. Johnny: What about you, D? Don't come up for ⁓ for side to side, like range. You going Chandler? Who can play that field? I gotta say ⁓ I'm with Lou on this one. ⁓ only it's actually only to me two questions. I mean two two players, and that's Air Reed and B. Dawkins. ⁓ I don't see too many other people that was like ball hawks like that. ⁓ again, I I can throw what's in this animal, but those are ⁓ Air Reed, hardest hitters. I mean hitters. Louis: Mm-hmm. We already know I'm going. I'm going Sean Taylor for sure. Yeah. Johnny: I'm going ⁓ Ronnie Ronnie Lott, but that motherfucker broke his finger. ⁓ safety with a with ⁓ a Louis: Mm-hmm. Run a lot of good one. Johnny: Them boys, I'm telling you ⁓ that back then, Ronnie Lott, ⁓ Chuck Cecil, ⁓ you could throw Taylor in there too. ⁓ kind of sweet else back then. Those pretty much was the ones that you really didn't wanna ⁓ go across that middle on. Safety with the best IQ. Louis: ⁓ I'm I'm gonna have to go with it Reed again or Palomalu. Johnny: ⁓ Louis: I I'll go read a polomalu. Yeah, I yeah. One of the two, yeah. Johnny: That's why I say it's gonna probably be the same answer for a lot of these. ⁓ I go to ⁓ for A E two. ⁓ one, two, three. Best ⁓ tackling safety. Louis: Man, he's tackling, give me ⁓ we already let me see. That that's just hard hitting. Let me f I wanna for sure tackle or I I'm gonna go with Lynch on that one. Or Lynch Lynch or Dawkins. And I'm gonna go with Lynch. If I just wanna for sure tackle, I'm gonna go Lynch. If you just wanna superior tackle, I'm gonna go Lynch. Johnny: I'm not surprised you all died. I'll give you second while think. Give me Darren Wilson. That boy. He didn't miss. He didn't miss. That boy. Darren Wilson was a dog. Louis: I like them. Yeah. He did yeah, he didn't miss. Yep. I like. Yeah. Yep. I ain't know why I ain't thinking yeah, I ain't know why I didn't think of Dan Woodson. Yeah. I went with Lindy. I l Johnny: I know I don't take none from the other boys, Reed and all of them, but Darren Woodson. Louis: That just was his that just I'm with you on that. That was his expertise. He ain't he he definitely gonna make that open field tackle for sure. Johnny: So you got your last one D on D or you gonna s I I I hear you say anything.
