  Speaker 1: I said, well, you know it's two things. First of all,

  Speaker 1: you should celebrate your wins in life and have small

  Speaker 1: incremental celebrations all along the way. But in your celebrating,

  Speaker 1: make sure your celebrating is filled with gratitude. That's the

  Speaker 1: real way to celebrate. Celebrate by being grateful, by giving

  Speaker 1: thanks and honor to where that blessing came from. Because

  Speaker 1: however you think it occurred, you do know it wasn't

  Speaker 1: just you, because it it was just us. We'd arrange

  Speaker 1: all good things to happen, wouldn't we.

  Speaker 1: If it was on us, everything I've ever asked God for,

  Speaker 1: at the latest tomorrow. I'm willing to wait till tomorrow.

  Speaker 1: But if I'm a prayed about it today, when I

  Speaker 1: when I wake up, I want it to be Christmas. Yeah,

  Speaker 1: but that's not how it works. So when you accomplish something. Yeah,

  Speaker 1: you should celebrate it, but celebrate with gratitude. Junior said,

  Speaker 1: should you pat yourself on the back. I don't know

  Speaker 1: if you've ever tried to do that, But try to

  Speaker 1: It might be a book that you read. Something flick

  Speaker 1: Don't you know? That's how God works. God sends you

  Speaker 1: what you need, right when you need it, and he

  Speaker 1: uses a multitude of ways to get it done. Sometimes, God,

  Speaker 1: have you thumbing through your Bible and your usuals, open

  Speaker 1: your Bible to the perfect scripture. I've done that I

  Speaker 1: can't tell you how many times. Sometimes you'll be thumbing

  Speaker 1: through YouTube and run across a video that's specific just
• 2:52
  Speaker 1: for you. Sometimes you'll be scrolling on ig and just

  Speaker 1: one of the motivational things that come up, and just boom,
• 2:59
  Speaker 1: it hits you right in the face.

  Speaker 2: God look it out for you.

  Speaker 1: Whenever I ask God to show me a sign, I say, God,

  Speaker 1: I'm just I'm waiting, but I need a sign.

  Speaker 2: He always shows me one.

  Speaker 1: So to answer the question, should you celebrate your wins

  Speaker 1: or pat yourself on the back, I say you most

  Speaker 1: certainly should celebrate your wins. But when you celebrate, make

  Speaker 1: sure your celebration is loaded with gratitude thanksgiving. As a

  Speaker 1: matter of fact, when you pray before you as you pray,

  Speaker 1: your prayer should start with gratitude. I always try to

  Speaker 1: remember to start my prayer now. Sometimes you know, look,

  Speaker 1: get a little ahead of myself and just get to
• 3:39
  Speaker 1: asking you, get to firing off that what I need list.

  Speaker 1: But the proper way is to give thanks, to let

  Speaker 1: him know, hey, look, you've done so much for me,

  Speaker 1: and I'm gonna tell you. Sometimes I get so caught

  Speaker 1: up in the thanking him part of the prayer that

  Speaker 1: sometimes I just go, you know what, I'm good, man,

  Speaker 1: He'd have done so much for me. Man, you know

  Speaker 1: I'm really good because when you wake up in the morning,

  Speaker 1: here's another thing for kind of all over the place

  Speaker 1: a little bit. But you know who, I'm just stay

  Speaker 1: with me. When you wake up in the morning and

  Speaker 1: you feel like you've gotten up on the wrong side

  Speaker 1: of the bed, you know, it always helps me in

  Speaker 1: the morning when I kind of wake up and I

  Speaker 1: feel a little unsorted, like I'm feeling like not myself

  Speaker 1: this morning, the big rhythms is off or whatever, I

  Speaker 1: just start thanking him. I start thanking him for everything,

  Speaker 1: for my health, my well being, for my family, for

  Speaker 1: my girl, for my kids, for being able to I

  Speaker 1: thank God that he's made me a loaner and not

  Speaker 1: a borrower. I thank god that he has put all

  Speaker 1: the weight he has on my shoulders and never put

  Speaker 1: no more on me than I can bear. Man, I'm

  Speaker 1: just grateful. I'm grateful for the crown that I wear,

  Speaker 1: as heavy as it is heavy as the head that

  Speaker 1: wears a crown.

  Speaker 2: But I wouldn't want it to be no other way.

  Speaker 1: Somebody said, hey, Steve, you looking back on your life, man,

  Speaker 1: Like somebody did a video. Somebody works with me did

  Speaker 1: a video celebrating my forty forty years in the business.

  Speaker 1: And I didn't know they had done it. This guy

  Speaker 1: works for me named Jason and Christale. They put a

  Speaker 1: video together to celebrate my forty years in the business,

  Speaker 1: which was October eighth, nineteen eighty five. Was forty years
• 5:37
  Speaker 1: the night I won fifty dollars. And I was looking
• 5:40
  Speaker 1: at that video, man, and it teared me up a
• 5:42
  Speaker 1: little bit when I was watching it, because man, I
• 5:44
  Speaker 1: had forgotten some of that stuff. But I looked back
• 5:47
  Speaker 1: on it, man, and whoa. Somebody said, hey, man, would
• 5:52
  Speaker 1: you do it all again?

  Speaker 2: Well?

  Speaker 1: I would have loved to have missed a couple of

  Speaker 1: those steps that I had to take. I would have

  Speaker 1: loved to have skipped over a few things. But if

  Speaker 1: I hadn't did those things, I wouldn't be who I

  Speaker 1: am today. So I got grateful for all of that. Man,

  Speaker 1: God is good. Don't forget that, y'all. So when you'd celebrating,
