Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: From Hollywood to you.
- 0:02Speaker 2: Thank you for listening.
- 0:05Speaker 1: On air with a Ryan Seacrest.
- 0:09Speaker 2: What are we doing? We're playing to hit more hit
- 0:12Speaker 2: music every single morning. Appreciate you coming in in the
- 0:16Speaker 2: car on the way into school and on a way
- 0:18Speaker 2: to work. Now, Ruby, me's bringing in for a second.
- 0:20Speaker 2: Ruby's in the back room. She's hustling, she's juggling balls.
- 0:23Speaker 2: She's got different phones, see all kinds of things going on.
- 0:26Speaker 2: Got a screen in front of her, she got a
- 0:27Speaker 2: phone in her hand, but just grab the mic.
- 0:30Speaker 3: Uh.
- 0:30Speaker 2: You have a question about your parents, your dad and
- 0:33Speaker 2: his philosophy.
- 0:34Speaker 4: Yes, so I just want to know, is there this
- 0:36Speaker 4: unwritten rule that you shouldn't go out for drinks if
- 0:39Speaker 4: you're a married woman, like go out for.
- 0:42Speaker 1: Drinks alone alone? Why would you go alone?
- 0:45Speaker 4: Well, with friends, but I mean like without your partners.
- 0:51Speaker 2: It's called marriage. You need to get out and drink
- 0:53Speaker 2: alone sometimes.
- 0:55Speaker 5: No, it's a major red flag by myself two months
- 1:00Speaker 5: into marriage to crystallize this.
- 1:02Speaker 2: Your mom wants to go out for drinks and your
- 1:04Speaker 2: dad doesn't think she should.
- 1:06Speaker 6: No.
- 1:06Speaker 4: So my dad actually kind of made me question myself
- 1:09Speaker 4: the other night because my girlfriends text me. We were
- 1:11Speaker 4: all at dinner. It was my siblings, my dad, and
- 1:14Speaker 4: then my husband David and my girlfriend's text and they're like, Hey,
- 1:18Speaker 4: we're going to go for drinks if you want to
- 1:19Speaker 4: meet us up in Echo Park. And my dad was like,
- 1:24Speaker 4: why would you go, David. You're just gonna leave David here.
- 1:27Speaker 4: He was like making me feel very guilty about wanting
- 1:30Speaker 4: to go out because I'm a married woman.
- 1:33Speaker 5: Now, Gosh, I don't know, Dad, you need to show.
- 1:38Speaker 2: I've never been in something situation like that, but maybe
- 1:42Speaker 2: your dad just feels like, you know, you can call
- 1:45Speaker 2: the glory Ruby here. You are on the air Ruby.
- 1:48Speaker 2: There's Ruby out the hot sauce at the booths on
- 1:51Speaker 2: the weekends. David just sitting around waiting for some Ruby time,
- 1:54Speaker 2: and then you blow them off to the I think
- 1:57Speaker 2: your dad's like standing up for this guy. I think
- 1:59Speaker 2: so too much. So I'm like, who's who? You're my dad,
- 2:03Speaker 2: You're supposed to have my back. I mean, I'm guessing,
- 2:07Speaker 2: and sistently you tell me, but I'm guessing. It's healthy
- 2:10Speaker 2: to escape your partner as often as possible.
- 2:13Speaker 5: Not as as possible, but yes, sometime apart and especially
- 2:19Speaker 5: just having time with your friends on both sides. Him
- 2:22Speaker 5: going out with his guy friends, me going out with
- 2:24Speaker 5: my girlfriends.
- 2:25Speaker 1: You know, I think it's very healthy in a marriage.
- 2:28Speaker 2: I don't know. I got guys in my life to
- 2:30Speaker 2: have wives, and like they text me, like, bro, can
- 2:35Speaker 2: you have a drink February nineteenth?
- 2:39Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 2:41Speaker 1: Put it in the calendar and I'll show up.
- 2:43Speaker 2: He's like, hall pass. I'm like, you have a hall
- 2:45Speaker 2: pass for two hours February nineteenth. I have no idea.
- 2:48Speaker 2: I can't plan like that for that. I don't know.
- 2:52Speaker 2: It's like, can't February nineteenth? So excited for two hours
- 2:55Speaker 2: of a hall pass?
- 2:56Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 2:57Speaker 5: Why can't you just like that? Why can't you put
- 2:59Speaker 5: that in your case? And then when February nineteenth comes up, I.
- 3:02Speaker 2: Know how hall passes are. Hall passes are like shots.
- 3:06Speaker 2: The guy's going on to dude shots for forty eight
- 3:08Speaker 2: minutes because he's got a hall pass, and I'm gonna
- 3:11Speaker 2: have to keep up. And I can't play that game anymore.
- 3:13Speaker 1: No, I can't do shots.
- 3:16Speaker 2: I can do shots.
- 3:17Speaker 5: No, I can't do shots any maybe one, but it
- 3:20Speaker 5: once again to the multiple shots.
- 3:21Speaker 2: You know, I think shots a better program because it
- 3:23Speaker 2: was so bloated.
- 3:25Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 3:26Speaker 5: I just I can't like find the rhythm, and then
- 3:28Speaker 5: then it's like, not not the rights this year.
- 3:31Speaker 2: Well here's the rhythm. Take your wrist, grab the shot, class,
- 3:35Speaker 2: here's the rhythm.
- 3:36Speaker 1: Oh you mean you don't even drink it?
- 3:39Speaker 2: No, no, no, tes it right into you. You gotta be chilled.
- 3:41Speaker 2: But I'm just saying that sometimes, like the liquid, you know,
- 3:45Speaker 2: and ice melting on that stuff, it swishes back and
- 3:48Speaker 2: forth and you're tummy. Someys just have one and then
- 3:51Speaker 2: you're good. But Ruby, did you go? You went right?
- 3:58Speaker 2: I didn't go.
- 3:59Speaker 1: What Ruby's in the ground? I didn't know.
- 4:01Speaker 2: I just I think he made me.
- 4:03Speaker 4: My dad kind of made me question, like, wow, am
- 4:05Speaker 4: I just being selfish right now? Because we all were
- 4:09Speaker 4: together as like a family.
- 4:10Speaker 5: But I mean that's different if you guys were all
- 4:13Speaker 5: together as a family.
- 4:14Speaker 2: But fail all right, So every once in a while,
- 4:21Speaker 2: these strike me. I'm pretty clear on it. It's saying
- 4:24Speaker 2: that a lot of people are divided about on the internet,
- 4:28Speaker 2: Sophia says, And he tell me where you stand. So
- 4:31Speaker 2: this is a pretty even split. But Monica's her name.
- 4:34Speaker 2: She posted this on TikTok's video from her bachelorette party. Okay,
- 4:38Speaker 2: and in the video, uh, she was reacting to a
- 4:44Speaker 2: video that her bride'smaid showed her on Our Bachelorette of
- 4:50Speaker 2: all of her ex boyfriends wishing her well. Right, little
- 4:54Speaker 2: montage of the excess saying good luck with the next chapter. So,
- 4:57Speaker 2: you're at the bachelrett party, you're watching video, You're at
- 4:59Speaker 2: your boyfriend wish you knew? Well? How how does that
- 5:02Speaker 2: go over? What do you think is this name?
- 5:03Speaker 1: Oh my gosh.
- 5:05Speaker 5: I'm kind of torn on this because I feel like
- 5:08Speaker 5: the the desire was for it to be funny and
- 5:11Speaker 5: like this is gonna be cute. And I think if
- 5:13Speaker 5: this happened to me, I would find it really funny
- 5:16Speaker 5: because I didn't really have like a terrible breakup with
- 5:18Speaker 5: every X and so if they were actually saying something
- 5:20Speaker 5: nice like who cares, Like it's in the past, like
- 5:23Speaker 5: move on.
- 5:24Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 5:25Speaker 5: So I don't think it's that big of a deal,
- 5:27Speaker 5: but I could see how like if you had a
- 5:30Speaker 5: bad breakup, or it just brings up these old feelings,
- 5:33Speaker 5: or if she's she's not really sure she's gonna marry
- 5:35Speaker 5: this dude, Like I don't know, I could like mess
- 5:37Speaker 5: with your brain.
- 5:38Speaker 2: Sophia, would this but your I mean, how many poor
- 5:41Speaker 2: friends have you had?
- 5:42Speaker 1: I've had two?
- 5:43Speaker 2: Yeah? OK, how would you It's a lot to think
- 5:46Speaker 2: about here in college. But would you want that? Honestly
- 5:49Speaker 2: disrespectful to I think.
- 5:51Speaker 1: It's really disrespectful.
- 5:53Speaker 5: If I was on like on the fiance side, I
- 5:55Speaker 5: would get super jealous.
- 5:57Speaker 1: I don't know if I just get.
- 5:59Speaker 5: But the fiance prefer a bunch of strippers coming into
- 6:02Speaker 5: the hotel. I don't have history working on your soon
- 6:07Speaker 5: to be wife.
- 6:09Speaker 1: What's better?
- 6:12Speaker 2: I didn't think about all that part. Yeah, I mean
- 6:15Speaker 2: to me, you know, I don't know my fiance.
- 6:19Speaker 1: I'm sure she's lovely.
- 6:21Speaker 2: I'm sure she's great. Uh well, uh I to any
- 6:27Speaker 2: of my ex girlfriends. I would love to put this
- 6:30Speaker 2: montage together. We could go and build it now. We
- 6:36Speaker 2: can be ready to go, yeah, like the old bit,
- 6:39Speaker 2: ready to go in case. Oh my gosh, why not?
- 6:43Speaker 1: That's so funny.
- 6:45Speaker 2: I'd be great, get all the get together all shoot it. Well,
- 6:48Speaker 2: I'm single, that's fine.
- 6:50Speaker 1: Care you need to be there. We need a surprise.
- 6:52Speaker 1: There's some Italian I do we truck everybody.
- 6:59Speaker 2: We'll just you know, maybe maybe we tell them I'm engaged,
- 7:02Speaker 2: but I'm not just to get the right you know,
- 7:03Speaker 2: spirit right. Maybe it's a bad idea anyway. The internet's
- 7:07Speaker 2: divided over it. These things are are they funded? Walk
- 7:11Speaker 2: down and rehash? Yeah, especially assistantly when you put it
- 7:14Speaker 2: in that A or B troop.
- 7:17Speaker 1: I think the ex boyf video is not that bad.
- 7:19Speaker 2: Compared to what you said. Probably true, most people might agree.
- 7:22Speaker 2: So this is a little bright lighted news. I kind
- 7:25Speaker 2: of started walking around a pepping my step about excuse me.
- 7:29Speaker 2: You're a better person if you have this in your life. Hmmm,
- 7:34Speaker 2: sisters make you a better person.
- 7:38Speaker 1: I love that.
- 7:39Speaker 2: I believe everybody here's got a sister, right, Yes we do.
- 7:42Speaker 2: You're better people because of your sisters. I think it's
- 7:46Speaker 2: even more better if that's the way of saying anything.
- 7:49Speaker 2: I think it's even better for guys. I think you're
- 7:53Speaker 2: a better man.
- 7:54Speaker 5: Like my Max in his set, because he has two sisters.
- 7:58Speaker 2: He's going to be such a good gentlemen.
- 8:00Speaker 5: Already is parents already tell me that that he's so
- 8:03Speaker 5: sweet that.
- 8:04Speaker 1: I mean, it's yes, I can go on wrong.
- 8:06Speaker 2: So they published this in the Journal of Family Psychology,
- 8:08Speaker 2: showing that sisters can actually make you a better person.
- 8:11Speaker 2: They say, sisters boost your mental health and prove your
- 8:13Speaker 2: social skills and give you confidence to be more dependent.
- 8:17Speaker 2: They studied like foreign families and sisters shielded teenagers from
- 8:22Speaker 2: feeling lonely, self conscious, and fearful. So if you're thinking
- 8:25Speaker 2: about having another one and you got a boy, right,
- 8:31Speaker 2: maybe you need to have a sister.
- 8:34Speaker 1: Exactly.
- 8:36Speaker 2: I don't want to ask the question I'm thinking about
- 8:37Speaker 2: so sistantly. You ask if someone here were to have
- 8:39Speaker 2: a family, how many would they want? Oh?
- 8:41Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean you ask how many kids do we
- 8:44Speaker 5: all want?
- 8:46Speaker 1: I'm doing it like a broad question, so anybody can answer.
- 8:49Speaker 8: I actually tell Robbie because he doesn't have sisters.
- 8:52Speaker 1: He just has one brother.
- 8:53Speaker 2: That came out great, great, I know, And he's two
- 8:55Speaker 2: boy sisters he came out great too.
- 8:57Speaker 1: Yeah, he has one sister and one brother.
- 8:59Speaker 2: It mm hmmm.
- 9:00Speaker 8: So I'm like, he needs a daughter?
- 9:04Speaker 2: Is that so?
- 9:04Speaker 9: Just?
- 9:05Speaker 10: Oh?
- 9:05Speaker 2: Since Ciny brought it up, so what's happening?
- 9:07Speaker 5: Can I also bring something else up that I really
- 9:09Speaker 5: wanted to bring up last week? But I didn't want
- 9:10Speaker 5: to go that route either, because it's so like taboo
- 9:12Speaker 5: to ask these types of questions type of thing you
- 9:15Speaker 5: asked when Tanya was telling.
- 9:16Speaker 1: Me that she was having vivid dreams. I had very
- 9:20Speaker 1: vivid dreams when I was pregnant. I just want to
- 9:24Speaker 1: put that out there.
- 9:25Speaker 2: Yeah, I heard, I heard, I heard it. I remember
- 9:27Speaker 2: you telling me that. I didn't say anything either, but
- 9:30Speaker 2: I think we all thought it. Word bubble ah.
- 9:32Speaker 8: Oh well we're not actually trying yet.
- 9:34Speaker 1: You don't know that.
- 9:36Speaker 2: Okay, guys, I don't want to hear anything.
- 9:39Speaker 11: I don't know.
- 9:40Speaker 1: Wait, so let's go back to this.
- 9:42Speaker 5: It's like the mental health boost of like the sisters
- 9:45Speaker 5: that like are great for.
- 9:48Speaker 8: And I think sisters like they take care of the
- 9:50Speaker 8: family more.
- 9:51Speaker 2: Yeah, you go back.
- 9:52Speaker 1: You can like always rely on them and get advice.
- 9:55Speaker 2: I love it. So thank you, Meredith Seacrest.
- 9:58Speaker 1: And Jeanette, thank you, and Tina.
- 10:00Speaker 2: There you go. You guys should all meet one day.
- 10:02Speaker 2: It's kiss FM. You want to be in a better mood.
- 10:04Speaker 2: Check this out. I just read where sunglasses squinting in
- 10:07Speaker 2: the sun raises feelings of aggression by forty four percent. Wow,
- 10:13Speaker 2: squinty agree with that because you're flexing the same forehead
- 10:19Speaker 2: muscles as you do when you actually get angry, which
- 10:21Speaker 2: signals your brain. You're angry.
- 10:23Speaker 5: The other day, I was in the car and the
- 10:24Speaker 5: sun was in my face. I didn't have my sunglasses,
- 10:26Speaker 5: and I.
- 10:26Speaker 2: Was frustrated, annoyed. Today's quote gentleness doesn't mean you're not strong.
- 10:33Speaker 2: It means your strength. It doesn't harm others. That's kind
- 10:36Speaker 2: of pretty.
- 10:37Speaker 10: Yeah, like it.
- 10:38Speaker 2: Why don't two point seven kiss FM? Let's get the headlines, SYS,
- 10:40Speaker 2: what do you have? Kiss FM? Headlines? Well?
- 10:43Speaker 5: Several LAUSD schools will temporarily relocate to alternate sites today
- 10:48Speaker 5: amid air quality concerns in the area surrounding the burning
- 10:52Speaker 5: warehouse in Boyle Heights.
- 10:54Speaker 1: LAUSD Superintendent Alberto.
- 10:56Speaker 5: Carvallo resigned following an FBI raid his home in office,
- 11:01Speaker 5: though he denies any wrongdoing. Forecasters are warning southern Californians
- 11:06Speaker 5: to brace for an incoming heat wave, with temperatures climbing
- 11:09Speaker 5: well above seasonal averages and peaking around midweek. And Dodgers
- 11:13Speaker 5: show Hey Otani and his wife announced the birth of
- 11:16Speaker 5: their second child over the weekend. They also have a
- 11:18Speaker 5: fourteen month old daughter and.
- 11:21Speaker 2: Amy, you've got this guy in your life. You call
- 11:23Speaker 2: him a buff friend, right.
- 11:25Speaker 10: Yes, I do.
- 11:26Speaker 2: You've been with your but friend about three years all right,
- 11:30Speaker 2: And the issue, as I understand it, and why you're
- 11:32Speaker 2: calling us, is that he's anti marriage and you think
- 11:36Speaker 2: he might be stringing you along.
- 11:38Speaker 3: M Yes, And why I need advice is because I've
- 11:44Speaker 3: been hearing from a lot of his friends that he
- 11:47Speaker 3: always goes, oh, I'm never going to get married.
- 11:49Speaker 12: I'm really outamant about never getting married.
- 11:51Speaker 3: But he tells me, oh, yeah, you know, we're going
- 11:53Speaker 3: to get married, blah blah blah. And I don't know.
- 11:57Speaker 3: It seems like things are going really well with us,
- 11:59Speaker 3: but I just kind of want to know. Is he
- 12:00Speaker 3: just saying this to me?
- 12:04Speaker 2: Why is the anti marriage?
- 12:07Speaker 3: Well, what he always tells me is he says, Oh,
- 12:09Speaker 3: I don't need a stupid piece of paper to prove
- 12:10Speaker 3: how much I love you.
- 12:13Speaker 1: Guys like that, I would run in the opposite direction.
- 12:16Speaker 2: Hold on, bad me. He's a cliche.
- 12:21Speaker 7: But is it it is?
- 12:22Speaker 1: Yeah? Some would say some.
- 12:26Speaker 2: Some would say that after they got married things changed
- 12:29Speaker 2: and there wasn't the same amount of good things in
- 12:36Speaker 2: the relationship. Others would say that's.
- 12:38Speaker 1: Not I mean, I mean, yeah, it wasn't meant to be.
- 12:43Speaker 7: Yeah, I don't know.
- 12:46Speaker 2: I'll tell you as somebody that like, I'm gonna say
- 12:48Speaker 2: anti marriage at all, but somebody thought like, I don't.
- 12:52Speaker 2: I don't know that I will because I hear so
- 12:54Speaker 2: many unsuccessful stories. I gotta tell you, I think I've
- 12:57Speaker 2: turned a new leaf. All options are on the table.
- 13:00Speaker 5: WHOA, mark the day down, Mark mark mark, mark it down.
- 13:06Speaker 1: I believe that this is in your future.
- 13:09Speaker 2: Yeah, I think it's not off the table.
- 13:12Speaker 8: And because of how intentional you are, you will make
- 13:18Speaker 8: that extra effort not to make it change.
- 13:20Speaker 1: Do you know what I'm saying.
- 13:21Speaker 2: It's not because of that. It's actually because of partly
- 13:25Speaker 2: what I saw in my father's love for our family
- 13:29Speaker 2: as the most important thing he ever did in his lifetime.
- 13:32Speaker 2: And he made that very clear week of passing to us,
- 13:36Speaker 2: and I thought it was so beautiful. So I don't
- 13:38Speaker 2: know he's anti now. If he doesn't feel like you're
- 13:43Speaker 2: the one that he's going to marry, then maybe that's
- 13:45Speaker 2: why he's saying anti. But it's it is possible that
- 13:48Speaker 2: that that leaf could turn as well.
- 13:50Speaker 1: I think you got to walk away.
- 13:52Speaker 5: What is supposed to do way around for him until
- 13:54Speaker 5: he makes up his mind.
- 13:56Speaker 3: Walk away because he tells us to me but it's
- 13:59Speaker 3: it's what he's been saying to his friend, his friends.
- 14:01Speaker 3: It's a complete opposite, and it's pretty much to everybody else.
- 14:04Speaker 3: So it's like, how am I supposed to have this
- 14:05Speaker 3: conversation with him? If all he ever does is basically
- 14:08Speaker 3: tell me the exact.
- 14:08Speaker 2: Same thing, then you are getting a clear sign that
- 14:12Speaker 2: he's not going to be the one that fits your plan.
- 14:15Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 14:16Speaker 6: Really, okay, I mean I'm just.
- 14:18Speaker 2: Like, look, you can, you can see to him, you
- 14:22Speaker 2: can say to him, Look, I need to know that
- 14:24Speaker 2: this is a possibility. If not, then I also need
- 14:27Speaker 2: to find that path for myself. Not an alternatim, but
- 14:31Speaker 2: the honesty of it. Otherwise you're gonna call me back
- 14:33Speaker 2: at a year and tell me the same thing.
- 14:35Speaker 7: Yeah, you're right, You're right, Okay.
- 14:38Speaker 2: All right, Amy, I don't like to be right in
- 14:45Speaker 2: this situation. Wow, not a new situation.
- 14:51Speaker 3: Thank you so much.
- 14:53Speaker 2: Bye bye. Yeah, you can't be so rigid, you can't.
- 14:59Speaker 2: You've got to put all options on the table. Kiss.
- 15:02Speaker 2: We have a very tight family here. I got the
- 15:05Speaker 2: front room, in the back room, we've got a studio.
- 15:06Speaker 2: You got the new intern, Sophia, you got Phonsie, got Michayla,
- 15:11Speaker 2: there's Ruby, lots goes into all the things that happen here,
- 15:15Speaker 2: and that's great. Don't forget all busy Tubbs is here too,
- 15:18Speaker 2: but he's Tubbs. So I'm talking about the backroom specifically,
- 15:23Speaker 2: Sydney has some drama to break down, and we just
- 15:26Speaker 2: need to make sure it's like a family meeting.
- 15:28Speaker 1: It is a family meeting.
- 15:29Speaker 2: You can't have any tension. Things, can't just sit. What's
- 15:32Speaker 2: happening sinstant in the back room.
- 15:34Speaker 1: So last week.
- 15:38Speaker 5: McKayla expressed that she missed the Jonas Brothers concert and
- 15:48Speaker 5: then now again because and she was going to like
- 15:51Speaker 5: so many shows, right, so she was like back to back, going.
- 15:54Speaker 1: To San Diego. Where was the show that you were
- 15:56Speaker 1: supposed to go to? Phoenix?
- 15:57Speaker 5: It was Phoenix And she missed because she was filling
- 16:01Speaker 5: in for Ruby because Ruby got married and went on
- 16:04Speaker 5: your honeymoon?
- 16:04Speaker 1: Were you gone? Lorn I went on a mini moon?
- 16:06Speaker 1: Many moon mini moon?
- 16:08Speaker 5: And so she was kind of just like letting out
- 16:11Speaker 5: the fact that that Jonah's brother specifically that show the
- 16:15Speaker 5: main was the special guest and the Main is your favorite.
- 16:19Speaker 2: Just get to the issue of what why please? I
- 16:22Speaker 2: can hear it. The issue is Ruby scheduled her mini
- 16:25Speaker 2: moon during your favorite concert.
- 16:27Speaker 4: Yeah, and I thought you were talking about to see
- 16:30Speaker 4: another show, though I didn't know it was that one. No,
- 16:32Speaker 4: it was Jonas and the main But Ruby, she had
- 16:35Speaker 4: her wedding, I mean, you know, what are we gonna do?
- 16:37Speaker 5: And so she held it down because she had to
- 16:40Speaker 5: and that and that was that. But I was like,
- 16:43Speaker 5: you're not holding any like grudge or like resentment or
- 16:46Speaker 5: anything like that, right.
- 16:48Speaker 1: I mean, it was a once in a lifetime thing
- 16:49Speaker 1: then I'll never see again. But no, I'm just kidding.
- 16:52Speaker 2: No, it's okay if you're not, it's fair, all right.
- 16:56Speaker 2: So Ruby, uh, do you have anything to ease the
- 17:00Speaker 2: pain for Michaela here? No?
- 17:04Speaker 4: I mean I told her thank you for covering for me.
- 17:06Speaker 4: I don't know, like months ago, so I didn't know
- 17:12Speaker 4: she was gonna go, and then she said last minute
- 17:14Speaker 4: she was trying to go.
- 17:15Speaker 2: So I was like, oops, yeah, I guess the way
- 17:19Speaker 2: it was not okay the way you say it's okay, Mikayla.
- 17:21Speaker 2: But let's just put it this way. When roles are reversed,
- 17:25Speaker 2: guess who's stepping up and in for you? So you
- 17:29Speaker 2: just mark it down.
- 17:30Speaker 1: It's coming up.
- 17:31Speaker 2: Oh yeah, well we're getting a billboard, so it's coming faster.
- 17:34Speaker 2: We better watch out. We're getting Mikayla meet Mary michaela
- 17:38Speaker 2: dot calm on a billboard. All right, no tension. It's
- 17:42Speaker 2: a fair conversation, I think. Look, Ruby, apparently this is
- 17:46Speaker 2: the once in a lifetime for you as well. So
- 17:48Speaker 2: things happen half of am Oh my gosh, I'm just
- 17:57Speaker 2: making a broad statement, a broad statement.
- 18:00Speaker 1: Well not in here. Look at us. I'm happily married.
- 18:03Speaker 2: Well not me, all right, Next I got silent. You
- 18:07Speaker 2: guys are so awkward Nello Tiper, Ryan's roses. Let's get
- 18:18Speaker 2: to Emily. It's kiss they're not married. Emily says, I
- 18:22Speaker 2: have been seeing a guy for a little over a year.
- 18:24Speaker 2: I saw something that makes me think I may be
- 18:26Speaker 2: the other woman. What do you see that makes you
- 18:28Speaker 2: think that?
- 18:30Speaker 7: Oh, you know, there's just like a lot of little clues,
- 18:35Speaker 7: but I'm not feeling good about Well, Basically, I saw
- 18:38Speaker 7: a photo from back when he was married. He had
- 18:42Speaker 7: told me he was married before, but basically I saw
- 18:46Speaker 7: this photo in his phone. He had a ring on
- 18:48Speaker 7: and it looked just kind of recent and it got
- 18:51Speaker 7: me thinking, like I just have this really bad feeling
- 18:53Speaker 7: in my stomach, like sick that I might be the
- 18:55Speaker 7: other woman.
- 18:57Speaker 2: Wow.
- 19:00Speaker 7: Yeah, I the thought of breaking up a part of
- 19:02Speaker 7: family is absolutely horrible to me. Like, I'm I feel sick.
- 19:06Speaker 1: Does he have kids?
- 19:08Speaker 7: No? He says that he might want them, but no, So.
- 19:12Speaker 2: You are so you this is the guy that you
- 19:13Speaker 2: think you're gonna marry. Now you think he may be married.
- 19:15Speaker 7: Still I'm worried about that.
- 19:18Speaker 6: I don't.
- 19:19Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, that's just such a shocking thing to
- 19:22Speaker 2: the system.
- 19:22Speaker 1: How far back was this photo in his like photos?
- 19:27Speaker 1: What was the date?
- 19:28Speaker 2: Did you check that.
- 19:30Speaker 6: You?
- 19:30Speaker 7: No, it didn't. I didn't see a date. But he
- 19:33Speaker 7: said it was like a photo back from when he
- 19:34Speaker 7: was married. But I don't know. To me, just the
- 19:37Speaker 7: kind of recent because it was like a shirt that
- 19:38Speaker 7: I had seen recently, you know, I don't know. It
- 19:41Speaker 7: was just this innate. It was just like a gut instinct,
- 19:44Speaker 7: I guess.
- 19:45Speaker 2: I mean, all right, well, hold on, let's try and
- 19:48Speaker 2: clear it up. We are ahead of a big decision.
- 19:52Speaker 2: So if it's bad news, it's good news bad news,
- 19:55Speaker 2: right Roses two point seven Kiss FM Time for the
- 19:58Speaker 2: call for Ryan's Rosesmily's on the line. So she's dating
- 20:02Speaker 2: this guy for what over a year, and she thinks
- 20:04Speaker 2: everything's going well, and they're on this path to maybe
- 20:06Speaker 2: have a kid or maybe not have the kid, or
- 20:08Speaker 2: getting married or maybe not get Maybe they're on a path.
- 20:11Speaker 2: He was transparent about being married before. Now she's getting
- 20:14Speaker 2: signs picking up on things where she thinks, wait a minute,
- 20:18Speaker 2: I might be the other woman. He still may be married. Wow,
- 20:22Speaker 2: So we want to find out before you make a choice.
- 20:25Speaker 2: You can't easily turn back on Emily. I need to
- 20:28Speaker 2: say Ryan, you have my permission to call, and then his.
- 20:30Speaker 7: Name, Brian, you have my permission to calling.
- 20:36Speaker 2: We're gonna do that right now. Be very quiet. We're
- 20:38Speaker 2: going to try and find out who's top of mind.
- 20:41Speaker 2: What's his ex wife or maybe wife's name.
- 20:45Speaker 7: Cynthia.
- 20:48Speaker 2: Good luck, here we go, got Emily on the line.
- 20:51Speaker 2: Cynthia is the.
- 20:52Speaker 13: Ex Hello, Hi is this Andrew? I'm sorry, what is
- 21:12Speaker 13: this Andrew?
- 21:15Speaker 10: May I ask who's calling?
- 21:17Speaker 2: Yes?
- 21:17Speaker 1: Of course, my name is Mandy. I'm calling from the
- 21:20Speaker 1: full Flower Stop.
- 21:21Speaker 5: We deliver here locally in the valley and surrounding areas,
- 21:24Speaker 5: and we're offering a free promotion today. It's a dozen
- 21:27Speaker 5: red roses that you can send to anybody they'd like.
- 21:34Speaker 10: Did Emily put you up to this?
- 21:36Speaker 1: I'm sorry?
- 21:40Speaker 10: M is this Smile?
- 21:43Speaker 1: No, my name is Mandy. It's a dozen. It's a
- 21:48Speaker 1: dozen red roses. They are free.
- 21:50Speaker 5: I don't need a credit card info from you. I
- 21:51Speaker 5: don't need anything like that. They're beautiful and we can
- 21:54Speaker 5: send them out by lunchtime today. I just need the
- 21:56Speaker 5: name of the person you want to send them to.
- 22:03Speaker 10: There aren't any real roses, are there?
- 22:05Speaker 1: Yes, they're gorgeous. It's it's a dozen red roses.
- 22:11Speaker 9: Mm I, I'm not sure.
- 22:18Speaker 10: I don't think this is I don't think this is
- 22:21Speaker 10: a real offer.
- 22:25Speaker 9: I uh, I don't know what's going on here, but
- 22:29Speaker 9: I feel like I feel like maybe Emily's had you
- 22:33Speaker 9: called me?
- 22:35Speaker 2: Andrew, you are right, your voice is being broadcast in
- 22:38Speaker 2: the radio. My name is Ryan. Emily's on the phone,
- 22:41Speaker 2: and are you married still to Cynthia?
- 22:45Speaker 8: Wow?
- 22:46Speaker 10: I can't believe this.
- 22:48Speaker 9: I mean, I knew the offer wasn't real, but I
- 22:51Speaker 9: didn't I didn't think that this would be on the radio.
- 22:54Speaker 2: Well, Andrew, what's going on your your you and Emily
- 22:58Speaker 2: are together? And talking about seria things. Are you having
- 23:03Speaker 2: another relationship at the same time?
- 23:07Speaker 10: Look, I really don't have time for this.
- 23:09Speaker 2: Andrew answered. If you're not, you would say I'm not,
- 23:12Speaker 2: so the answer is you are right. Just tell Emily
- 23:15Speaker 2: now so she can pack up, get out and find
- 23:18Speaker 2: another life and another relationship.
- 23:24Speaker 7: Name.
- 23:26Speaker 10: What exactly are you trying to accomplish right now?
- 23:29Speaker 2: Why are you being so likely for me right now?
- 23:32Speaker 3: You seem so surprised when they called you, Andrew?
- 23:34Speaker 7: What was that? Is that even your name?
- 23:36Speaker 2: Oh?
- 23:38Speaker 9: Okay, here's where I am. You don't trust me. You
- 23:44Speaker 9: called me with fake flowers. You think I'm lying about
- 23:46Speaker 9: my name. This is clearly not a basis for a relationship.
- 23:51Speaker 2: So this is the tone of a guy who's caught Andrew,
- 23:56Speaker 2: you're still involved with your ex wife. Just tell us
- 23:59Speaker 2: that you Why you mean so rude? Why you mean
- 24:06Speaker 2: so rude?
- 24:06Speaker 8: Bro?
- 24:06Speaker 2: This is your.
- 24:10Speaker 1: Hung up?
- 24:11Speaker 2: He's gone, Emily. We've done this a lot, We've done
- 24:14Speaker 2: this a long time. Let me tell you good news.
- 24:16Speaker 2: That guy's not for you. I don't care if he's
- 24:18Speaker 2: with somebody else or not. To disrespect the rudeness, the rigidness,
- 24:23Speaker 2: He's not for you. And I think he's absolutely covering
- 24:26Speaker 2: something up.
- 24:31Speaker 6: I don't know what to spad.
- 24:32Speaker 1: I'm so sorry.
- 24:34Speaker 2: You don't have to say anything.
- 24:36Speaker 7: He didn't even it's not even his name.
- 24:38Speaker 12: He sounded weirdly.
- 24:40Speaker 7: He was confused about the name Andrew, but it was
- 24:43Speaker 7: really weird he did.
- 24:45Speaker 2: And it's a blessing that you're getting all of this now.
- 24:49Speaker 2: Imagine if it weren't down the line. It's brutal, and
- 24:54Speaker 2: it stings in this moment, but trust me, this wound heals,
- 24:57Speaker 2: and you'd be so much better off. I know it. Emily, Okay,
- 25:05Speaker 2: thank you reaching out to us. Good luck, all right,
- 25:08Speaker 2: good luck?
- 25:10Speaker 1: Good Oh my heart breaks for her.
- 25:13Speaker 2: I mean, if the guy's not doing it, he's saying
- 25:15Speaker 2: absolutely not.
- 25:17Speaker 8: I know.
- 25:18Speaker 2: On air with Ryan Seacrest. Anything you want, anything you
- 25:24Speaker 2: need to ease your mind a little bit, call me
- 25:26Speaker 2: eight hundred and five to one to two seven. Can
- 25:27Speaker 2: I jump to Long Beach for a second. Let's down
- 25:29Speaker 2: LB Long Beach and Sarah with an h on the
- 25:34Speaker 2: phone here, Sarah, good morning. How can we help you
- 25:36Speaker 2: in Long Beach?
- 25:38Speaker 12: Hey, good morning. I'm just looking for a little advice. I've
- 25:43Speaker 12: done it with my girlfriend for two years. And she's
- 25:47Speaker 12: definitely the one. We live together and we're planning on
- 25:52Speaker 12: getting married and having kids and everything. But she came
- 25:56Speaker 12: to me over the weekend and said that she wants
- 26:00Speaker 12: to be the biological mom of any kids that we have.
- 26:05Speaker 12: And I was shocked by this because I just assumed
- 26:08Speaker 12: she would have one and I would have one or something,
- 26:13Speaker 12: you know. But the reason she gave is that my
- 26:16Speaker 12: mother is an alcoholic and she wouldn't want that down.
- 26:22Speaker 7: Yeah, my mom?
- 26:24Speaker 1: Wow heavy? Yeah, how did I make you feel?
- 26:30Speaker 2: We must be I'm a fan?
- 26:34Speaker 1: Yeah, me too.
- 26:35Speaker 12: Yeah, Like, my mom has actually worked really hard, Like
- 26:38Speaker 12: she's been sober for four years, and she's been super
- 26:43Speaker 12: supportive of our relationship and everything, and she would just
- 26:47Speaker 12: be like mortified if she knew this conversation was happening.
- 26:51Speaker 2: Yeah, this is interesting.
- 26:53Speaker 7: How long have you been with your partner about two years?
- 26:57Speaker 2: And did you discuss kids and how at any point
- 27:01Speaker 2: early on?
- 27:04Speaker 12: Well, he said, like, both of us have said that
- 27:06Speaker 12: we wanted to get married and have kids, but we
- 27:09Speaker 12: did not ever discuss specifics of like who would have them.
- 27:15Speaker 1: Right.
- 27:16Speaker 2: Well, then there's there's that part, But to me, it's
- 27:20Speaker 2: the reason why she doesn't want you to have one
- 27:24Speaker 2: because of your your history. And I think that that
- 27:27Speaker 2: is wow for a partner to say that.
- 27:30Speaker 5: Yeah, like she's put a lot of thought into that
- 27:32Speaker 5: even before she vocalized it to you.
- 27:34Speaker 2: That's a character tell you know, how are you with her?
- 27:39Speaker 4: Now?
- 27:39Speaker 2: Are things awkward now?
- 27:42Speaker 6: I mean.
- 27:45Speaker 12: Kind of like my first instinct was to just like
- 27:48Speaker 12: try and figure out any issues in her family, like.
- 27:56Speaker 7: Terrible, why don't you?
- 27:58Speaker 2: Why don't you? What's the science on that disease and
- 28:02Speaker 2: it being carried into a child? What's the science on it?
- 28:06Speaker 2: Because you know it's not proven. Is it proven to
- 28:09Speaker 2: necessarily be something that is passed along?
- 28:14Speaker 12: I mean it is hereditary.
- 28:16Speaker 2: It's like she's not wrong, So is it proven that
- 28:19Speaker 2: it's always heriditard?
- 28:20Speaker 1: How have you been as as your mom and your doctor?
- 28:23Speaker 12: I don't have an issue with it, but honestly that
- 28:25Speaker 12: might be because seeing my mom growing up, I've always
- 28:28Speaker 12: just kind of stayed away from alcohol, like I haven't really.
- 28:31Speaker 2: Then then that's your Yeah, that's almost like you, it's
- 28:34Speaker 2: going to be your child. That's what you then will
- 28:36Speaker 2: create right in your child's.
- 28:37Speaker 1: Life, like you've broken the cycle. And then and now
- 28:39Speaker 1: it's all about how you raise your child.
- 28:43Speaker 12: Yeah, I mean, I definitely would want at least one
- 28:48Speaker 12: of our children to be mine biologically. So I just
- 28:51Speaker 12: don't know.
- 28:54Speaker 7: I don't know.
- 28:54Speaker 12: I don't know what to say to her about it.
- 28:55Speaker 1: It sounds like she's pretty set on it. Oh she's
- 28:58Speaker 1: not set.
- 28:59Speaker 5: You need to convince or otherwise and otherwise what this
- 29:02Speaker 5: is a deal breaker?
- 29:03Speaker 2: I agree, I mean, it is still a longer conversation.
- 29:06Speaker 2: I'm just googling alcoholism has Alcoholism has a hereditary component
- 29:11Speaker 2: stadis were showing in Advads with a family history of
- 29:13Speaker 2: alcolism are at a higher risk of developing a higher risk.
- 29:17Speaker 2: But you're not in that world, So I don't you know,
- 29:20Speaker 2: I really think this is the conversation you should have
- 29:22Speaker 2: with your partner. It is definitely something I'm I'm glad
- 29:25Speaker 2: you're talking about now, not later finding this out because
- 29:31Speaker 2: you may not feel comfortable, but maybe you will and
- 29:32Speaker 2: maybe you guys will get there, so good luck, but
- 29:36Speaker 2: continue to talk. It says there's a fifty percent chance
- 29:39Speaker 2: of being predisposed to alcohol use disorder if your family
- 29:43Speaker 2: has a history. So it's not I mean, you're late
- 29:45Speaker 2: living a clean, sober life and that's what your child's
- 29:47Speaker 2: gonna see. So thank you, sir for reaching out. We
- 29:50Speaker 2: wish you the best of luck on this one. It's tough.
- 29:52Speaker 7: Yeah yeah, all right, well I appreciate it.
- 29:55Speaker 2: Good luck to take care, all right.
- 29:57Speaker 6: Thanks.
- 29:58Speaker 2: I think you know she doesn't drink, so her child
- 30:02Speaker 2: doesn't see.
- 30:03Speaker 1: It, right, It's all about the pattern.
- 30:07Speaker 2: That's what she will bring to that child. See krest
- 30:10Speaker 2: with you, Tanya Sicini in the back room, I got
- 30:13Speaker 2: Abby on the phone. Abby, you say, your husband, Hi,
- 30:17Speaker 2: your husband got you a what.
- 30:21Speaker 6: An old dog?
- 30:24Speaker 2: And what's the problem?
- 30:25Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, Well, basically, I've wanted a dog for so
- 30:29Speaker 6: long and I've been trying to convince him, and he
- 30:32Speaker 6: finally caved. But instead of us picking out a puppy
- 30:35Speaker 6: or like even just a younger dog all together, he
- 30:39Speaker 6: surprised me and came home with a really sick, old
- 30:44Speaker 6: senior dog. And like his reasoning was just that every
- 30:48Speaker 6: dog needs a home, which I completely respect and I
- 30:50Speaker 6: agree with one hundred percent. But I'm struggling and perhaps
- 30:54Speaker 6: I'm overthinking it, but I'm just wondering if maybe he
- 30:58Speaker 6: picked a senior dog on purpose that we wouldn't like
- 31:02Speaker 6: have to be responsible for it for as long, like
- 31:05Speaker 6: he gave me what I wanted, but in a really
- 31:07Speaker 6: temporary way. And I feel really like God and guilty.
- 31:11Speaker 2: Even I'm just thinking about your karma after saying that,
- 31:15Speaker 2: I'm just thinking about your car. Even if you feel
- 31:18Speaker 2: that dog saying it's another step, it's a senior sick dog.
- 31:25Speaker 1: She's not upset about love. She's not upset about the dog.
- 31:28Speaker 8: She's upset about the frame of mind that maybe her
- 31:32Speaker 8: boyfriend is in thinking that maybe it's a temporary relationship
- 31:35Speaker 8: and he doesn't want to stick around for too long.
- 31:38Speaker 2: Is overthinking it's her husband and maybe he doesn't want
- 31:42Speaker 2: to stick around. But still that's also dark, Abby. We
- 31:45Speaker 2: can't think of ourselves in this situation. The dog is
- 31:49Speaker 2: now with you. The dog needs your love. The dog
- 31:52Speaker 2: needs to feel love. We can't think about this other stuff.
- 31:55Speaker 2: He gave me the dog. I'll take the dog. I
- 31:57Speaker 2: just lost one of my dogs. He's really talking about
- 31:59Speaker 2: that either.
- 32:03Speaker 6: And I know I sound ungrateful or like heartless, but
- 32:06Speaker 6: you know, I don't know.
- 32:07Speaker 2: This or ungrateful, just not.
- 32:09Speaker 5: I just think that it's not what you had in
- 32:11Speaker 5: your mind of your story.
- 32:14Speaker 2: I just think you've got to take yourself out. It
- 32:16Speaker 2: is the dog.
- 32:18Speaker 6: I'm also I'm trying to figure out how to wrap
- 32:21Speaker 6: my head around like being a new dog mom. But
- 32:24Speaker 6: also the loss might become coming a lot sooner than
- 32:27Speaker 6: I don't even.
- 32:28Speaker 1: Worry about that right now.
- 32:31Speaker 2: If you are not going to love this dog, Abby,
- 32:34Speaker 2: there are people that will love this dog. Please love
- 32:36Speaker 2: this dog. If not, please call us. We will find
- 32:38Speaker 2: this dog a home. I love the dog.
- 32:42Speaker 6: That's not the problem.
- 32:45Speaker 1: What to do, there's no problem.
- 32:47Speaker 2: Got to move forward. Yes, this is your life now.
- 32:50Speaker 2: The universe brought this dog to you for some reason.
- 32:54Speaker 1: What's the dog's name?
- 32:56Speaker 6: His name is Buddy.
- 32:58Speaker 13: Buddy everybody everybody needs a Boddy?
- 33:03Speaker 2: All right? Yeah, Abby, thank you for your honesty. But
- 33:06Speaker 2: go love the dog.
- 33:09Speaker 10: Oh, thank you, guys, you're welcome.
- 33:12Speaker 1: Yeah, send picks.
- 33:15Speaker 2: I can't say that's sick dog.
- 33:17Speaker 1: Send picks. Why can't you take pictures of the dog?
- 33:22Speaker 2: I feel bad that she's feeling that way. I want
- 33:24Speaker 2: the dog to find the love. So Abby, you have
- 33:26Speaker 2: our number. Yes, overthinking it kiss now says you have
- 33:31Speaker 2: a question for you. Yes, did you ever ask guys out?
- 33:35Speaker 2: Did you take the initiative when you were single?
