I started crying so hard. That was eleven seconds the first and I watched

and so I'm working for enterprise. I'm working for his company. I

had already told God from the jump, I said, God, if you

ever told me lead his job, you got to put me in full time

because I mean full entrepreneurship. Because I'm satisfied here. I got some frustrations,

I got some things that happened or whatever, but every every position has

that. But Enterprise is a good company, just as simple as that,

Enterprise is a good company. I don't have no beef with enterprise. You

know what I'm saying. I actually love Enterprise. I would tell any college

students that's looking and just still trying to figure themselves out, that want to

at this point you were good money, good money, good money. Good

say, there's some some you know, I think every job comes with its

own like sorry, every job comes with this on like you know, frustration

sometimes like that. But it's not that you're in a space where you were

happened, I had some type of feeling that something was about to shift.

Remember I had told you even the last podcast of the year, I said,

something's about, you know, speaking over everybody life, not knowing that

I was speaking over mind. Then I started feeling this shift, and I

asked my Woman of God, you know, my pastor. I was like,

hey, I'm sensing something, but are you sensing anything going on with

my job? Like basically like, am I about to leave my jobs?

She was like no, I actually see cars behind you. Right. So,

then when this happens and I'm asking God, you know, everybody telling

me, oh, enterprise, ain't got long, I'm like, okay,

cool bees, God, what you say about this? Yeah? I literally

took a God and said, what do you say about this? Fast forward?

Fast forward, not even days, like literally that same night, he

said, write your resignation letter. Whoa, that's it right now? Mind

you. Me and you have been in atmospheres where I've heard people say you

need to go ahead and write your resonation letter. The Lord's telling you to

leave, and you haven't stepped out on faith. And I was like,

I was like, are you telling me like I would be in all that

with atmospheres, Like God, are you telling me to leave? Like I

know I hear you for myself. So I don't feel that I'm not scared

to write no letter, but that this don't make sense for me right now.

I've been in atmospheres and I've heard the testimony and say, okay,

I wrote my resignation letter and the Lord told me to submitted next week,

and I saw God on this. I've heard all that, but that wasn't

my story. So now I'm being in the same place where I've heard prophesied

years years before, So this is years before being inn atmospheres where they keep

saying this, and I'm like, no, So literally I heard the Lord

say write your resignation and I said, okay, So I write it.

I literally I read it. I put it in my phone, and I'm

crying while I'm doing this because multiple reasons. This is. For one,

this has been a safe place for me, like enterprise has been financially have

financially. I've been got a house with enterprise, I done got my Carver

enterprise. I've developed, you know, I got a I'm in debt right

now. But I got out of some debt with Enterprise that I've done a

lot of things. I've grown with Enterprise, And so you mean to tell

me I'm about to leave the company that's actually helped me building to the place

I am right now, Like that's what you're trying to tell me. So

that's number one. Number two, I'm thinking about my connections. I've got

some strong connected I've got some strong connections, like some strong like two people,

two of the people that showed up at Tabitha Brown, like literally they

are at Enterprise. They was so decided they brought me flowers. You remember

like, like, I got real relationships. The biggest relationship I was worried

talked, well, honey, I was worried about my relationship with him because

at this point now he's my manager. I know what we're going through.

My branch is not all the way into sales is not good right now.

We going through a lot of changes, a lot of frustrations, and it's

gonna look like I'm leaving because all of this is going on. But I'm

like, I've been through. I went through COVID with this company, you

feel what I'm saying, and it was not pretty. Not in the beginning.

It got pretty pretty earth, but not in the beginning. Didn't even

if I was gonna have a good job during COVID because you know, everybody

was doing layoffs. You know what I'm saying, for sure, But I've

been through some ugly with this company. So I was like, I don't

want them to think, because everything is not good, that I'm trying to

leave. I say, I don't know how to explain that God told me

to do this. So now I'm freaking out. I'm literally freaking out,

like God is the one who told me to do this, and I'm feelishing

I'm doing this and it seems crazy. And then then let me tell you

the truth of y'all. Let me tell you the truth I was worried.

I was worried about people saying, oh, she didn't got she didn't got

a little opportunity with tab. Oh you know, I know they said it.

even people that I was at work that I was concerned about saying that.

It was the outside of people. So all of these things are going in

my head. But I'm writing. I'm writing the resonation little. I literally

called coach the next day bawling my eyes out, and I said, I

don't want to seem like I'm crazy. Those are the exact words that came

the phone with me. And I'm at I ain't driving to work. I'm

driving to a place where I know I'm about to put I'm feeling out to

submit this letter at some point because God, at this point, I didn't

ask God for a date. Not at this point. I just wrote the

letter. He didn't give me that. He just said. And this is

the thing about listening to God and obeying what he said, sometimes we can

add and subtract for what he said, but no, he told me write

the level that's and I wrote the letter. I put it on my phone

dated is still in my phone right now. Not gonna read it to you

because it's unnecessary, but I put it on my phone. I called my

coach this day, balling my eyes out. She prayed with me, and

we went through some stuff because she's she's had the same experience but didn't move

told her to do. So she's telling me. So I'm listening to somebody

say, hey, go ahead and move with God. Go with it.

it's scary, but you either you're gonna quit or you're gonna get fired.

And I wasn't trying to be fired. You know what I'm saying. Like

I've told you all before, my name meant too much to me, my

brand mean too much to me. So fast forward, I was the Lord

told I said, Lord, who can I say something to? And eventually

eventually I said, Lord, I need a date. And so I think

a few days went by and I told the Lord gave me. I was

on the phone with Greg, and the Lord gave me permission to tell Greg

what he told me. As I said, hey, Greg, you me

and you was in conversation the other day or whatever, but I need I

need you to know that the Lord told me to write my resignation letter.

I'm not saying that I'm turning in my resigonation letter now, but I know

it's coming. I can't tell you when because I don't have a date.

Like the level of boldness I'm telling my friends. But he's also my leader,

and I asked him, I said, hey, can you just give

me some time and I can figure out this day. And I said,

I'm not gonna leave you hanging on this like I'm not gonna I'm not gonna

mismanage this. But but you my dog, so it's not we not.

I'm not gonna have no confusion with us on this. And so he was

like okay, literally after I told him that the Lord gave me a date.

And I don't know if I I don't know if I told y'all the

special days of really center around know that I was telling TikTok this, y'all

But I was telling the TikTok community that that the Lord works with me in

special days, and typically it's the dates of people close, like my family

member's birthday. So this was probably Jay with twenty fifth or something like that.

I don't know. It was right after my birthday. I moved forward,

I get off the phone grid, and I heard the Lord say February

twenty eighth. I knew I heard the Lord because God always deals with me

the way he deals with me with garden dates, and that's my me and

Mom's birthday, my mom's mom. I literally cried when I heard it.

And I'm in it. I'm in the chair getting my hair done. All

of this. Every time I find something now, I'm prepared. I just

this is revelation I just got. Every time I'm finding information out to leave

or to do something regarding the enterprise, I'm in preparation for Tabitha Brown situation.

Wow, I so you hear me, say I heard I was I

sister is dying my hair in preparation for the for the thing, because it's

to pay attention to this. As I obeyed, God released another level of

information I couldn't I couldn't get my date until I told Greg. I couldn't

tell Greg until I wrote the resonation letter. I couldn't write the resonation letter

until I allowed God to give me permission to do his will. Wow,

Fast forward grit. In the midst of this, I'm having a conversation

with the person that's recruited me to the division, right that somebody I've known

the full seven years. And I was like, I told I kind of

told him I didn't know what was going on. This is like a conversation

before, so not knowing they having conversations about me because they they're concerned about

me at this point. This is why being being a good person's valuable.

It's very valuable. So they're having a conversation about me in a good manner,

in a concerning manner. Hey, what's going on with Jessica. This

is the conversation I had with her? This is what she said. It

I'm not the person that's always a crying wolf. I'm not the person that's

always saying, hey, I'm quitting this job after this job. I'm not

that person. I'm not that person. So they knew that, and so

the communication that they had, okay, bet So when I told Greg,

I said, I told I had to tell Greg. The next day,

I said, hey, Greg, the Lord gave me my date last night.

I haven't mind you. I have not submitted my resent Nation letter.

I'm just telling Greg my process because I know, even though he's my friend,

he's also my manager. So I say, hey, I said,

I said, it's February twenty eighth, and I want you all else to

be mindful. So we got PC telling me, I got cars behind me,

and the Lord telling me February twenty eighth. I told that I told

Greg that that would be my last day. That's what I thought. That

was signick for the gate of the date. So fast forward, Greg I

got information that his manager, the person I told you I've been in relationship

with me who recruited me to that division. He was so concerned. He

like, how she gonna pay her bills, how she gonna do this,

And the fact that she then gave was thirty day notice. I know she's

scared. Like I've seen people try to quit and they let them. Folks

go, Okay, I'm just gonna They're like, Okay, cool, that's

what you want to do. Cool. But the way I managed this situation

gave me another level of grace with people that normally act out in a different

way. I'm just telling y'all, so it's not just what you do,

it's how you do it. And so I'm they're having the conversations regarding me

and they're like, hey, Jessica, we know about this, we just

got emailed about this opportunity. Can you can you do you I think it'll

work good for you, well for you because of X, Y and Z.

And so I looked into the opportunity and I talked. I got my

counsel, I said God, I said, am I disappointing God because I'm

even considered this opportunity? Am I being scared about not doing stepping out on

faith? And the Lord? I ask the Lord this, y'all don't want

y'all to pay attention to this. I asked the Lord this, he says,

He says, this is a picture of the Rim in the bush story.

If you don't know what about the Ram in the bush. Abraham had

been waiting for his son, his son four years. He finally has Isaac,

and then God tells him to take him, take Isaac and sacrifice him.

They get up there, they go through this process, and right when

Abraham was going to sacrifice his son Isaac, an angel a voice called called

out and said, hey wait. It directed him to look to look in

in the bush and the ram was in the bush for him to sacrifice.

The Lord told me in that moment, is that if Abraham had never followed

the directtions, he never would have saw the ram. So if I had

when I tell y'all, that process was so hard because it's like I'm trying

to prepare. I am trying to prepare for a moment in a lifetime,

don't know where where the finances is gonna come from. Like I'm in the

state of okay, God open doors when I'm having a clothes on. At

So now fast forward. I've agreed because God gave me permission, right

I apply this opportunity. It's a work from home opportunity. I'm not in

leadership. I still get keep my benefits. I get to I still get

to, you know, add to my my little hoa or what not.

Hoa, yeah, them savings accounts and stuff like that. I still get

to do all that boodes and stuff. I thank God for you know,

I still got an interview for this job. I'm gonna tell you, and

I'm not gonna get too much detail because something else haven't. But if I

get to that, I'm I'm gonna have to tell a whole story. So

I ended up I apply for the position. I get an interview. It

was two interviews, right, And the lady told me that. It was

the week before my memo's birthday. And the lady told me, she was

like, we gotta figure out who we want or whatever. But you'll find

something out whether or not you got the position next by by next Friday,

my me most birthday, February twenty eighth was a Wednesday. I called Greg

and I said, yeah, I had my I had my my interview.

I had my interview, all right, I said it went well, Now,

same company that I've been told that I have an opportunity to interview. Like,

I'm not a good interview right, No, shade. No found because

everybody wanted me to win. Like I don't know too many people is in

the company. If they didn't want me to win, they ain't speak out

loud about it, So that's that's on them. But everybody wanted me to

win. That you didn't interview well, that I didn't interview well, like

everybody pretty much knew that, like oh or would say, oh, she's

process. I ain't really because of the time and how everything was. I

didn't really do a lot of interview prep. I did some Me and Greg

I had to put that in. So I have these two interviews.

I'm just myself. I said, you know what, if they don't want

after the lady told me when I was gonna find out, I said,

tell I got the job. She called me at three o'clock on February twenty

eight to offer me the position. So God gave me a date that I

thought I was leaving by enterprising and complete, but gave me a day of

confirmation that I was transitioning. And I want you all to be mind for

this. I asked for feedback, and the lady told me. The lady's

feedback was that I was optimistic, that I spoke well, that I had

great customer service skills, and that she could find no flaw in my interview.

well, I don't interview well, and you're telling me my interview was

flawless. I'm confused. Wow, I'm confused. That's a whole blessing within

itself. Now I need to put y'all back to a place where my PC

can hear from the Lord on your behalf. She told me that she saw

a whole bunch of fleet. I mean a whole bunch of cars behind me,

and that's why she felt like my time at Enterprise was not up.

And I told her what was going on. I told, I said,

God to telling me put in my resigonation letter. I'm struggling this because you

told me that you saw fleet like cards behind me. You told me that,

and I believe you every word that you've given me. I got a

proof of that. It's accurate, like it's bulls. I aggurate, So

why would this be any difference? So I'm struggling, y'all, like,

she said was a lie. But guess who my position is. I'm an

account fleet coordinator for Enterprise for Enterprise Fleet. What does that mean that?

I basically am the admin for our clients to manage their fleet once they lease

it with the company. It's not trucks. Majority of this is cars I

have. I'll eventually, because I'm in training right now, I'll eventually have

thirty customers to be over. That's cars on cars on cars. That's what

she saw. Wow, that's what she saw. So she did not lie

that my time with Enterprise is not up. But my time in that position

was I don't know who this is for. But sometimes as we develop in

this entrepreneur country creator, our story is not like everybody else's story. God,

she negotiated with the Lord. Then I was like, Lord, I get,

I didn't have to negotiate. I just went through the process. I did

everything the Lord told me to do and came out. Now, am I

making the money that I was making as a manager. No, I'm not.

God is allowing me to experience another division as long as as long as I've

been in this position, he has a bigger assignment for me. I'm And

I made a conscious decision not to hide what I was doing. I got

I got some people that told me, oh, don't tell nobody what you're

I made a conscious gents say, hey, I'm a content creator,

I'm doing all these things. I don't need to be a secret because

at first I felt I felt like I had to hide it. But everybody

started finding out about it, and so that has been the most freeing thing.
