  First born of living wishes was vanquished, crystalline webbing

  disintegrated, and the glorious sounds of life returned to the

  valley once more. Zin, still smoking from her

  transformation, returned akuma to Serpentine form.

  Parable. Silver veined and shaken, clutch

  the bottle of a Thames breath, unsure whether to open it or

  run. Cassie brought them all in for a

  group hug. Below, the world was still, as

  if holding its breath, and above, the star moved In a

  moment of shared insight, all three of our heroes felt the

  cosmos shifting around them. The star that stands still was

  still no longer Solaris. The frozen shooting Star

  trembled, fractured and split. 1/3 living wish fell from the

  heavens, hurtling towards the lines of fortune or even maps

  feared to tread. Cassie's journal whispered of

  threes. The third living wish had come,

  and with it, the next great wishing was set to begin.

  Cassie read the divinatory magics felt sign once more

  within her mind, in her voice. Linger to mother's love.

  I'm sorry, and good luck. To protect the valley, the witch

  hunters became dominari, casting their spells together.

  Slow, fire, shield, and reincarnation.

  Not as weapons, but as a promise to hold the world together for

  one moment longer as it tried to fall apart.

  The sky shimmer. The ground around them shook but

  held, and still they wondered what now?

  As the stars began to fall, so too did those who sought them

  appear. And as the sky falls upon you

  all now, the alien Solari of Domi, the Star Callers, marched

  from the West and now rise into the sky.

  And from the east, the Star Watchtower hands and their sages

  descend from the starry horizon. The next great wishing has

  begun. We rejoin our heroes now, as the

  sky is full. And we are going to get right

  into initiative everyone. No, no, I was thinking the same

  thing. Yeah, same thing.

  acclimate to the immense OK situation as you have a sky full

  of chaos. These wishes aren't falling

  directly towards you, they're kind of swirling around the
• 6:36
  world and every once in a while they drop.

  So what you have above you is only a few within hands reach.

  And there is truly such a varying degree of where these
• 6:47
  wishes are within the sky. That first come, first serve
• 6:50
  hold a ton of power here and you can see both the star callers,
• 6:55
  the alien Solari to the West from Domi, are racing just as
• 7:00
  hard as the Star Watch sages to the east.

  Can we squeeze in an action before initiative?

  Depending on what it is, I will let you argue for one.

  I would love to animate my constellation shield.

  as mechanically an animated shield, but driven from what?

  But this time this other magic came out, and it softens her

  glow and her stars into this new form, and she gains the benefit

  startlingly like Soraya, but it's more just similar looking

  Love it. As we enter this fight, you guys

  can act as your own unit, but we're using special mechanics,
• 12:20
  and as I talk about those, keep in mind of what kind of units
• 12:23
  you might want to make. Sophondria, Gloom, and Glimmer
• 12:27
  all count as their own unit in this fight to come.
• 12:31
  But as well as the Star Callers and the Star Watch Sage Monks
• 12:36
  both have units themselves and I will talk about that a little
• 12:39
  bit. Now I am using some butchered
• 12:42
  rules that show up on Not Another DMD podcast.
• 12:45
  Murph uses them to run a fantastic big warfare rule, but
• 12:48
  they originally come from Matt Colville and I've modified them
• 12:51
  even further just for our use case.
• 12:53
  But it essentially comes down to having units compete on a
• 12:56
  battlefield, and each unit has a power, a toughness, and morale.
• 13:01
  The unit breaks when any of those 3 drops to 0.
• 13:05
  The battle dynamics work like this.
• 13:07
  Units act and contested D6 roles against one another to determine
• 13:11
  success. So some of these units have an
• 13:13
  ability to affect that D6 role. But in addition to that, they
• 13:17
  can also make attacks equal to their power each round.
• 13:21
  So you can engage with a unit and do attacks equal to the
• 13:26
  power of that unit, and then at the end of that engagement
• 13:28
  you'll both roll D sixes to see who won that engagement
• 13:32
  regardless of what the damage and how that came out.
• 13:35
  Speaking of damage, each successful unit attack deals 10
• 13:38
  flat damage to the target. Could be you could be another
• 13:41
  unit. Every 20 damage dealt reduces a
• 13:44
  target units power and toughness by 1.
• 13:47
  So that is foreseeably how you start whittling down the
• 13:51
  offensive and defensive power of these units by doing some
• 13:55
  damage. There of course are other ways
• 13:57
  to interact with them through the DND mechanics.
• 13:59
  Additionally, some units have a way to affect morale.
• 14:03
  If you're at a morale of two or lower, the squad rolls at D6 and
• 14:07
  on A2 or lower the squad breaks. So morale you can actually break
• 14:11
  before it reaches 0. Speaking of morale, I do have a
• 14:15
  couple ways that the enemy units can affect morale.
• 14:18
  But for you guys, you'll be able to interact with it, like with
• 14:20
  an intimidation check. If you do a bunch of damage or
• 14:22
  if you do something insanely heroic, intimidation check.
• 14:26
  And we'll treat that in the same way as a way to reduce morale by
• 14:29
  a point or two. I knew we should have practiced
• 14:31
  our end zone dances. You're so nice.

  But yeah, so essentially we we have a system where each unit
• 14:36
  has some attacks and AD 6, and we're going to roll those D6 to
• 14:39
  see who wins in those engagements.

  But more than anything, feel free to interact with us through
• 14:44
  your DND mechanics and command a unit.

  So what do you guys think? As Saphandra, Gloom, and Glimmer

  all move to rise, Saphandra pauses for but a moment and

  My thought is Dragons go after the living wishes and like

  collect as much as they can and we can go after units.

  Well, so each of them, each of you an individual, so you could

  all. We could each man a unit, I

  Otherwise you could kind of coach all of the units

  strategically and kind of give me like an idea of how to play

  them, you know, classic DM like we could.

  Sort of coach them as characters from afar, stay separate, but

  sort of give them guidance to do OK.

  Correct and action. One strategy part of this that

  might affect that decision is the wish fall mechanics that I

  have here. You can, in lieu of going for

  one of your attacks, go instead To capture or catch a falling

  star. You will make AD 6 roll DC5 and
• 15:59
  additional attacks spent on that will lower that DC by 1.

  Cool. So what are the units that we

  we do? We have everybody up.

  Each of the three Dragons is a unit, and we can also operate as

  objective for Team Pavilion and additionally Chorus as Chorus is

  well as Dapple. I think that that team is the

  team that spreads out along the forest to usher in these wishes

  that I imagine as they fall. They look like similar to Ryle,

  like just a refracted bit of light when you saw her up in

  that the crystal cavern roof long, long ago.

  And Parable, of course, walks up to the smallest in a moment of

  the fear of heights, the the fear of all those things behind

  him that he's overcome in the moment.

  He's going to go up to Glimmer and very respectfully and slowly

  walk up and place a hand on his snout and he's going to say,

  Glimmer seems to be so focused on the sky until you kind of

  startle it awake and you can see that unlike his name, Glimmer

  anything has a little bit of a lilt in his shoulders as it

  doesn't quite believe in itself and you really bolster its

  spirits there. Give me a charisma check here

  the point where might just be nice to stay on the ground for a

  while. But once more, you must ascend
