Transcript
- 0:11Speaker 1: Shoots.
- 0:13Speaker 2: It's time nice hell No and lo and Low. Hello.
- 0:17Speaker 2: Welcome to the naughty but Nice Show. I'm your host,
- 0:21Speaker 2: Rum Shooter, and it is Thursday. Every Thursday. Our dear
- 0:25Speaker 2: friend Mark Looper joins us. Hey, Loopy are you there?
- 0:29Speaker 2: Loopy lou is here? Hello, rab Hello Darling. We had
- 0:32Speaker 2: a few technical issues this morning. I couldn't hear Mark,
- 0:36Speaker 2: and so I can hear you now, but I'm just
- 0:38Speaker 2: going to warn you noughties marking my headset is a
- 0:42Speaker 2: little low. Don't worry, Hopefully when you're listening to this today,
- 0:47Speaker 2: we've evened out the volumes. We both sound the same
- 0:50Speaker 2: to you. But do know the mark that you can
- 0:52Speaker 2: hear today on the podcast, I can barely hear. So
- 0:55Speaker 2: if we over talk one another a little bit, it's
- 0:58Speaker 2: not that we're being rue. It's that I really can't
- 1:01Speaker 2: actually hear what you say. Box. If you say something
- 1:04Speaker 2: out rageous and I don't laugh, don't think I'm being
- 1:08Speaker 2: grumpy grumps, but I can barely hear you. That to
- 1:11Speaker 2: one side. Let's see if this can actually work. Fingers Crusted,
- 1:16Speaker 2: It's like a lip reading Mark fingers Crust. Okay, let's
- 1:19Speaker 2: jump into the show. What time. Is it, my friends,
- 1:21Speaker 2: it is tea time. Oliver Hudson, that's Kate Hudson's brother
- 1:26Speaker 2: and also Goldiehorn's son. Let's be clear here has a
- 1:30Speaker 2: shocking confession there, saying he cheated before his marriage and
- 1:35Speaker 2: never got caught. Well, he has been now, so he
- 1:39Speaker 2: said the following Oliver admitted that he cheated on his
- 1:42Speaker 2: wife when they got engaged. They got engaged in two
- 1:45Speaker 2: thousand and four, and he described feeling a psychological shift
- 1:50Speaker 2: after getting engaged and then led him onto unfaithful behavior. Now,
- 1:57Speaker 2: he acknowledged that he cheated and overwhelming feelings of guilt
- 2:03Speaker 2: by his actions, but he said the following quote, I
- 2:05Speaker 2: never got caught, so he did not get caught. Instead quote,
- 2:09Speaker 2: I told her everything because I couldn't live with myself
- 2:13Speaker 2: and get married and have children with this weight around
- 2:18Speaker 2: my shoulders. Now this is a big deal to tell us. Now,
- 2:22Speaker 2: she's known about this for a long time. Before they
- 2:25Speaker 2: got married. He told her, I've been cheating. I'm in
- 2:29Speaker 2: a bad place. I still love you, I still want
- 2:32Speaker 2: to marry you. She said, yes, okay.
- 2:36Speaker 1: So I have feelings about Alaba Hudson and they are
- 2:40Speaker 1: as follows. So he is now. It seems like weekly
- 2:44Speaker 1: exploiting his family for clicks and his podcast. So he's
- 2:48Speaker 1: sharing this outrageous story, which listen. I'm glad he was
- 2:51Speaker 1: able to tell his wife, you know the truth, and
- 2:53Speaker 1: good for him, but we don't need to know this.
- 2:55Speaker 1: The public does not need to know this information. Just
- 2:58Speaker 1: like when he had a podcast last week he said
- 3:00Speaker 1: he was envious of a sister's fame, that he was
- 3:03Speaker 1: upset that she has this great life and he has
- 3:06Speaker 1: to hustle. And then you know, the other week he
- 3:08Speaker 1: was saying his mom doesn't protect him. When he was
- 3:10Speaker 1: a child, she felt unprotected. So I feel like every
- 3:13Speaker 1: week there's this new bombshell that he shares and we're
- 3:16Speaker 1: talking about him now, but it's not sustainable in terms
- 3:19Speaker 1: of him being relevant, Like we don't care beyond the story.
- 3:22Speaker 2: You know, yeah, make a make a good movie. That's
- 3:24Speaker 2: how you're going to have a long career in Hollywood.
- 3:27Speaker 2: It really is now. He did say when he talked
- 3:29Speaker 2: about his sister and his mom, he doesn't get off
- 3:31Speaker 2: of the parts they get. Maybe he's not the actor
- 3:33Speaker 2: that they are. I don't know. Maybe they've had more
- 3:35Speaker 2: opportunities than he gets. But I think you've hit the
- 3:38Speaker 2: nail on the head because I spoke to Kate's Hudson's
- 3:41Speaker 2: dear friend last night, someone quite close to Kate, and
- 3:44Speaker 2: they told me they all just want Oliver to shut up.
- 3:47Speaker 2: And they said he's on their last nerve. They know
- 3:50Speaker 2: what he's doing, everybody's aware of it, but they don't
- 3:53Speaker 2: want to slap him just yet, you know, like I
- 3:56Speaker 2: don't want to say they feel sorry for him, but
- 3:58Speaker 2: they know he doesn't have the career that they have.
- 4:00Speaker 2: They know he doesn't have the money they have. Although
- 4:03Speaker 2: you know, he has a pretty privileged life. His mom
- 4:06Speaker 2: is Goldie Horn. He lives in a fabulous apartment. He's
- 4:09Speaker 2: not struggling, and so he has a wonderful life. It's
- 4:13Speaker 2: just not quite as wonderful as his sister or his mommy.
- 4:17Speaker 2: And his mom and his sister at the moment are
- 4:19Speaker 2: being okay, let's let's let him have his moment, let
- 4:22Speaker 2: him do it. But eventually they get a bite. I
- 4:25Speaker 2: do this a little bit. I'm not famous, but I'm
- 4:29Speaker 2: famous enough to get a free dessert maybe in a
- 4:30Speaker 2: restaurant now and then and now and again, or a
- 4:34Speaker 2: free meal, or some free theater tickets, which I'm very
- 4:37Speaker 2: very grateful for. When I bring a plus one, they
- 4:41Speaker 2: have to say thank you afterwards. You're there because of me,
- 4:45Speaker 2: And so I've taken people who have took off my list,
- 4:48Speaker 2: who are really pushing. One of my friends had the
- 4:50Speaker 2: nerve to ask me the my tickets. They were like,
- 4:53Speaker 2: I like the ale and I said so do I
- 4:55Speaker 2: and then my tickets mm hmm, Mark, do you sometimes
- 4:59Speaker 2: have your friends, maybe family members a little bit too pushy.
- 5:03Speaker 1: I do have that happen sometimes, and I do you know, Rob,
- 5:06Speaker 1: we kind of have that in common where I get
- 5:07Speaker 1: invited this fun stuff and parties and you get free
- 5:11Speaker 1: gifts and whatever. But I try to keep myself around
- 5:14Speaker 1: people who were wasn't last night. For example, I brought
- 5:17Speaker 1: Kevin to a screening of a film and he was
- 5:20Speaker 1: there first, and he gave me the io sea. He goes,
- 5:22Speaker 1: do you want the io seat or do you want
- 5:23Speaker 1: the inside seat? And I was like, I would prefer
- 5:25Speaker 1: the ile seat. That's very sweet, you know, and.
- 5:28Speaker 2: Very three, yeah, very three. I went to see a
- 5:32Speaker 2: fabulous play a couple of days ago. Outsiders Angelina Joe
- 5:35Speaker 2: Lee is producing this fabulous new musical that opens tonight.
- 5:39Speaker 2: So I can't give a review until after the critics come,
- 5:41Speaker 2: but I can't tell you it's fabulous. And I went
- 5:43Speaker 2: with my friend Karen my tickets. I'm in the business,
- 5:47Speaker 2: I'm the one that's going to talk about it. I'm
- 5:49Speaker 2: the one that's going to promote it. And I had
- 5:51Speaker 2: to run to the loop. So I gave Karen the
- 5:53Speaker 2: two tickets and I went down to the loop, and
- 5:56Speaker 2: then coming back upstairs, I was like, Oh, I wonder
- 5:58Speaker 2: which seat she took if she took the ile Sea.
- 6:01Speaker 2: But the next she did not take the ile Sea.
- 6:04Speaker 2: Good friend, good bye tickets. And so I do understand
- 6:07Speaker 2: this is going on a little bit with Oliver Hudson.
- 6:09Speaker 2: It has been going on though now several weeks he
- 6:12Speaker 2: did really call Goldier bad mom. And this is what
- 6:14Speaker 2: the problem is. I call this the Bethany Frankel school
- 6:18Speaker 2: of attention. When you do something naughty and get rewarded
- 6:22Speaker 2: for it by getting publicity, you do it again. It's
- 6:25Speaker 2: like rewarding a puppy, Like you've got to be consistent.
- 6:29Speaker 2: And so every time Oliver saying something, we reward him.
- 6:34Speaker 2: So can we be surprised that he's going to keep
- 6:37Speaker 2: talking look at our fabulous podcast. Mark never would Oliver
- 6:41Speaker 2: Hudson be the lead story. We've never I don't think
- 6:44Speaker 2: he's ever been in the show. And suddenly we're talking
- 6:47Speaker 2: about Oliver. So what he is doing is working, which
- 6:50Speaker 2: brings us though to our whole question of the day,
- 6:54Speaker 2: Oliver Hudson's shocking confession about cheating before he got married.
- 7:00Speaker 2: Our question is should he shut up? Is it enough? Olifa?
- 7:04Speaker 2: Is it enough? Yes? Or no? Vote on Twitter page
- 7:08Speaker 2: at Naughty knisrabor our Facebook page which is Naughty Gossip
- 7:12Speaker 2: and be sure to check back tomorrow Friday to hear
- 7:16Speaker 2: your results. Hey Loopy, what are you working on?
- 7:20Speaker 1: Yeah? Okay. So Armie Hammer's ex wife, Elizabeth Chambers is
- 7:24Speaker 1: speaking out, admitting their divorce was a public nightmare. Elizabeth Chambers,
- 7:29Speaker 1: Armie Hammer's ex wife, opened up about the challenges of
- 7:31Speaker 1: navigating divorce in the public eye, just describing the experience
- 7:35Speaker 1: as absolute hell. Now. Reflecting on her divorce from Army Hammer,
- 7:39Speaker 1: Chambers described the ordeal as riddled with scandal and daily
- 7:43Speaker 1: stories emerging in the media. She expressed the difficulty of
- 7:46Speaker 1: dealing with the public scrutiny and negative press coverage, highlighting
- 7:49Speaker 1: the emotional toll of learning about new developments through media
- 7:53Speaker 1: articles as they unfolded. Rob, this is a big story.
- 7:56Speaker 1: At the time when this was all coming out, What
- 7:57Speaker 1: do you think.
- 7:58Speaker 2: Yeah, I think this is massive. Like divorce is ugly.
- 8:01Speaker 2: It's horrible when you have a relationship that doesn't work out.
- 8:04Speaker 2: The last thing you want to do is see it
- 8:06Speaker 2: splashed over the covers of the tabloids of the newspapers.
- 8:09Speaker 2: What makes this even more extreme, though, are the circumstances
- 8:13Speaker 2: in which they got divorced. Some of the accusations against him.
- 8:16Speaker 2: They've changed his career, if not ended it, and so
- 8:19Speaker 2: she suddenly has been sucked into this basically a horror story.
- 8:23Speaker 2: Some of the accusations are horrific and to have to
- 8:26Speaker 2: be dragged through that. What makes me happy here, though,
- 8:28Speaker 2: is that she's finally speaking up. Tell your story. You've
- 8:32Speaker 2: got a story to tell. Tell your story, and I
- 8:34Speaker 2: think this is the same in your private life. If
- 8:37Speaker 2: you're going through a bad breakup, find a good friend
- 8:40Speaker 2: and tell your story. Get it off your chest. Talking
- 8:44Speaker 2: about problems really reduces stress. There are scientific studies that
- 8:50Speaker 2: prove that that's really all that. Therapy is often a
- 8:53Speaker 2: lot of great guidance too. But the thing about therapy
- 8:57Speaker 2: is the talking part. Talk about it. I used to
- 9:00Speaker 2: bottle my feelings up, Mark. I used to feel embarrassed,
- 9:04Speaker 2: and so I just would say nothing and try to
- 9:07Speaker 2: hide them and pretend they didn't happen. There's no better
- 9:09Speaker 2: example than I hurt my arm when I was born,
- 9:12Speaker 2: and for years I just put my hand in my
- 9:15Speaker 2: pocket and pretended it wasn't damaged. Now I say it
- 9:19Speaker 2: right away, like I'm like, oh, I hurt my arm
- 9:21Speaker 2: when I was little, and then we move on. And
- 9:22Speaker 2: so I always find talking about stuff happens now. Mark,
- 9:25Speaker 2: you can be very private. How are you about talking
- 9:29Speaker 2: about isshoes?
- 9:30Speaker 1: You know, I'm a private person, but I go to therapy.
- 9:32Speaker 1: I have a psychiatrist, Like I go and I speak
- 9:35Speaker 1: and in those spaces like I've found myself at times crying,
- 9:38Speaker 1: like fully crying on a zoom if I'm having a
- 9:40Speaker 1: bad you know day or whatever, and I didn't surprise myself.
- 9:44Speaker 1: But I'm so open in those moments. But when you
- 9:46Speaker 1: feel safe in a safe place to express it, it
- 9:48Speaker 1: really does bring this immediate relief to what you're feeling.
- 9:52Speaker 2: Yeah, you gotta feel safe, you feel safe now doing
- 9:54Speaker 2: this podcast. When we first started, you're a bit rough.
- 9:59Speaker 2: Rough trained you a little bit, and then I realized
- 10:02Speaker 2: it wasn't the talent because you always had that, and
- 10:04Speaker 2: goodness knows you no celebrity. So you have the talent
- 10:08Speaker 2: and you have the expertise. You weren't comfortable. Now look
- 10:12Speaker 2: at you in your pajamas, a nice apartment. You've got
- 10:16Speaker 2: to make people comfortable. I think it's a skill in life.
- 10:18Speaker 2: Try and make people comfortable. When you're meeting somebody for
- 10:21Speaker 2: the first time, say something nice and just make people.
- 10:24Speaker 2: You've got to put down those walls, isn't it. Everybody
- 10:26Speaker 2: has their walls. Celebrities too, put down those walls. Hey,
- 10:31Speaker 2: I'm happy. I'm happy. Elizabeth is speaking out, Okay, moving along.
- 10:35Speaker 2: Britney can't right is revealing that she only had sex
- 10:39Speaker 2: twice in the past year before splitting with Jax Taylor.
- 10:44Speaker 2: So these two were on Van der Pump Rules. I
- 10:46Speaker 2: think they're on a spin off show. Now they're getting
- 10:49Speaker 2: an ugly divorce. It's getting quite nasty. But the two
- 10:52Speaker 2: of them, they love publicity. They like talking about it.
- 10:55Speaker 2: In fact, my advice is second to go about it's
- 10:57Speaker 2: good to talk it's the opposite here. Please two need
- 11:00Speaker 2: to shut up, like Oliver. Oh, they won't shut up.
- 11:04Speaker 2: So now she's revealing that in the last year they
- 11:08Speaker 2: only had sex, they were only intimate twice. That's a sign.
- 11:14Speaker 2: I think market's a sign.
- 11:16Speaker 1: It is a sign. And I think you know, listen,
- 11:18Speaker 1: when you're in a honeymoon phase, you might be having
- 11:20Speaker 1: sex every day, or you might be all over each other.
- 11:23Speaker 1: I think reality is life gets in the way and
- 11:25Speaker 1: it's not as sustainable. But if you're finding yourself like
- 11:28Speaker 1: disinterested or just uncomfortable, then I think you know, there's
- 11:31Speaker 1: a bigger issue there.
- 11:33Speaker 2: Yeah, there's there's an issue there isn't there. I hate
- 11:36Speaker 2: talking about this subject, you know, personally I don't ever
- 11:39Speaker 2: talk about it. But I think you have to keep
- 11:41Speaker 2: the fire alive. That's all I'm gonna say. Right, you
- 11:45Speaker 2: have to keep the romance alive. And if you find
- 11:48Speaker 2: yourself being a little distant, then go on a date,
- 11:52Speaker 2: do something you both like, get tickets to a great
- 11:55Speaker 2: movie or a show, or go for a lovely dinner,
- 11:59Speaker 2: go for a war walk together. I have a very
- 12:02Speaker 2: easy relationship with Bruce. I don't have to put a
- 12:05Speaker 2: lot of thought into it. It's like you and Kevin.
- 12:07Speaker 2: You fit. It's easy, it's not difficult. But yet I
- 12:11Speaker 2: do find myself almost scheduling times for a date. Like
- 12:16Speaker 2: if I've had a really busy week and I'm running
- 12:18Speaker 2: around town going to all these fabulous events that we're
- 12:21Speaker 2: dragging our friends to who're trying to steal our seat,
- 12:25Speaker 2: I decide that, like Confrido, this weekend is going to
- 12:28Speaker 2: be a Bruce weekend. I'm gonna get rid of all
- 12:30Speaker 2: my schedules on this weekend and just take time with him.
- 12:33Speaker 2: And I think it's very very healthy. Do you have
- 12:34Speaker 2: to schedule time for Kevin? Or it's quite easy?
- 12:37Speaker 1: I mean, listen, it's our jobs can be very demanding, right,
- 12:40Speaker 1: and I find myself working long hours or I haven't
- 12:43Speaker 1: expected to be at certain events for networking purposes, and
- 12:46Speaker 1: sometimes I have to, you know, not be available, and
- 12:49Speaker 1: so we work that out and typically weekends there's time
- 12:52Speaker 1: for that, or you know, during the week last time,
- 12:55Speaker 1: for example, going to a screening, you just find time
- 12:57Speaker 1: to make it work.
- 12:58Speaker 2: Does he stay your hat's a lot?
- 13:02Speaker 1: He does? Yeah?
- 13:03Speaker 2: Oh it does. A nice apartment? Is your apartment slightly
- 13:06Speaker 2: nicer than his? Well?
- 13:07Speaker 1: I have three bedrooms and it's a there's a lot
- 13:10Speaker 1: of rule.
- 13:11Speaker 2: Great Gatsby, You're a great Gatsby of Uptown.
- 13:14Speaker 1: It's ridiculous.
- 13:15Speaker 2: Yeah, I think it's marvelous. Okay, moving along. Jelly Roll,
- 13:22Speaker 2: who's a new person to our podcast? Hello, mister Rowell
- 13:25Speaker 2: apparently turned down a meeting with p Diddy tell us
- 13:28Speaker 2: All So.
- 13:29Speaker 1: Jelly Roll recalled a moment where he declined to meet
- 13:32Speaker 1: with Sean Diddy Combs after they both appeared on the
- 13:34Speaker 1: same episode of Jimmy Kimmel Alive Last Bar. Jelly Roll
- 13:38Speaker 1: shared that it was the first time in his career
- 13:40Speaker 1: where he was offered a meet and greet with someone
- 13:42Speaker 1: and initially agreed but then changed his mind. Oh mm hmm.
- 13:46Speaker 1: And as he was walking down the hallway towards the meeting,
- 13:48Speaker 1: jelly Roll had a change of heart and decided to
- 13:51Speaker 1: turn back. He admitted that he wasn't sure why he
- 13:54Speaker 1: suddenly didn't want to meet Diddy, but the decision led
- 13:57Speaker 1: him to skip the meet and greet and returned to
- 13:58Speaker 1: his car instead. Wow, Wow, Wow, what do you think?
- 14:02Speaker 2: Wow? We've been backstage at a lot of TV shows
- 14:06Speaker 2: and this is what happens. It's almost like a little
- 14:10Speaker 2: fraternity sorority. Backstage, you're all in dressing rooms, tiny dressing rooms,
- 14:14Speaker 2: next to each other, and your name's on the door,
- 14:17Speaker 2: the celebrity's name, and they do go from room to
- 14:20Speaker 2: room saying hello, checking in. Once I was on the
- 14:23Speaker 2: Rachel ratio and Gweneth Peltrow was next to me. Oh,
- 14:26Speaker 2: you know, I went over to say hello to Greneth,
- 14:28Speaker 2: like I've been done with somebody at the door. Helloo.
- 14:33Speaker 2: I mean, so they do do this backstage. The only
- 14:35Speaker 2: celebrity that I've met that I regret that I just
- 14:39Speaker 2: wish I hadn't done it was Madonna because I'm such
- 14:42Speaker 2: a Madonna fan. When I met her, she was so
- 14:45Speaker 2: awful to it didn't turn me off her, but I
- 14:49Speaker 2: was like, Oh, I think I wish I hadn't done that.
- 14:51Speaker 2: Have you ever had that experience? Mark just one that
- 14:54Speaker 2: you're like, Oh, I wish I hadn't met them.
- 14:56Speaker 1: There's a bunch I can't really speak to bunch. There's
- 15:00Speaker 1: a bunch of Yeah, it changes your feelings.
- 15:02Speaker 2: It's weird if he does a bit, doesn't follow your gut.
- 15:04Speaker 2: If you don't want to meet somebody, there's a good
- 15:07Speaker 2: reason Honestly, if you're on those dating gaps tonight Naughty's
- 15:11Speaker 2: and there's somebody that you're going to go and have
- 15:13Speaker 2: a drink with, and and your gut says no, trust
- 15:16Speaker 2: your gut. I'm a big believer in following, following your gut. Okay,
- 15:20Speaker 2: we're going to take a quick break. I know now
- 15:23Speaker 2: some days we have to have ads in the middle
- 15:25Speaker 2: of the show. I know they're a pain in the bottom,
- 15:28Speaker 2: but these ads allow us to bring you this fabulous
- 15:32Speaker 2: content Mark, free of charge, not a dollar, not a penny.
- 15:36Speaker 2: So let's enjoy our sponsors. We love you very much.
- 15:39Speaker 2: We'll be right back. Welcome back to the Naughty but
- 15:43Speaker 2: Night Show, and we'll shoot it with your friend Mark Lupo.
- 15:47Speaker 2: Hey Loopy, let's get to the polls. Last show, we
- 15:53Speaker 2: talked about King Charles's health crisis has put Prince William
- 15:58Speaker 2: right next to the throne, and so William could be
- 16:02Speaker 2: king sooner than anybody thought. That question was do you
- 16:07Speaker 2: think Charles should step down? Now? I know he won't,
- 16:10Speaker 2: but should he step down? Would you hand the batter on,
- 16:14Speaker 2: let's have a look. Eighty percent said no, you do
- 16:18Speaker 2: not think Charles will step down. I agree. I don't
- 16:21Speaker 2: think he'll do it. He's waited his whole life for
- 16:23Speaker 2: this job. He's not going to do it just for
- 16:26Speaker 2: a couple of years and say goodbye. He's going to
- 16:29Speaker 2: be king until the day he dies.
- 16:30Speaker 1: Yeah, as he should. As long as you can do it,
- 16:33Speaker 1: you know, he earned it. This is this is what he.
- 16:36Speaker 2: Was I guess or was given. He didn't really do
- 16:39Speaker 2: anything except get born to the right place. It's sort
- 16:42Speaker 2: of meaning to send in his resid He didn't go
- 16:45Speaker 2: on an interview. I know. It's harder to get on
- 16:47Speaker 2: the American Idol a bit the King of England. You
- 16:50Speaker 2: got to get a more auditions. It's terrible. So he
