- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Benn and Ashley I Almost Famous podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with I our Radio. It's another episode of the Almost
- 0:06Speaker 1: Famous podcast. Yes it is. I'm gonna call it Fantasy
- 0:09Speaker 1: Sweets Week. Ashley and McKenna are here to join us.
- 0:14Speaker 1: I almost couldn't say it. Ben is never gonna call
- 0:17Speaker 1: it sex week. Jared wants to call it sex sweet Permanently.
- 0:20Speaker 1: Why because it's funny. It's a little done now, it's
- 0:25Speaker 1: just a funny week. It's overdone. Okay, sorry, it's not.
- 0:28Speaker 1: It's so funny it sets people up. Mckinna, Welcome to
- 0:32Speaker 1: the Almost Famous Podcast. First, O funny, Okay, I understand
- 0:37Speaker 1: what you're saying. Obviously, fantasy sweets are very important for
- 0:40Speaker 1: not the sex part, but it is funny. That's the
- 0:42Speaker 1: week that you have to decide whether or not to
- 0:44Speaker 1: do something. Uh McKenna, what do you think? Should it
- 0:47Speaker 1: be called sex week or can we just stick with
- 0:49Speaker 1: fantasy sweets? What's your vote? There's no wrong answer here.
- 0:53Speaker 1: I like fantasy sweets, um, but I mean, it's like
- 0:58Speaker 1: it can happen. But I just think it's just time
- 1:01Speaker 1: for someone to have more quality time and like private
- 1:04Speaker 1: time with someone doesn't need to be all about sex. Yeah, well,
- 1:08Speaker 1: and it can. It can if you want it to be.
- 1:10Speaker 1: If you would like to enjoy that evening with a
- 1:13Speaker 1: semi stranger and just release all of the things that
- 1:17Speaker 1: have been in your body for the last three months
- 1:19Speaker 1: as you've traveled around the world, go for it. There's
- 1:21Speaker 1: no shame in that game from this show. I just
- 1:25Speaker 1: don't want to put added pressure to it. So the
- 1:27Speaker 1: big question this week is who's right who's wrong? That's
- 1:29Speaker 1: my ben I just want you to know that, of
- 1:31Speaker 1: course I'm on your team in this. I know you are.
- 1:34Speaker 1: I'm not saying it really started out as kind of
- 1:36Speaker 1: a joke. It is a joke. Ashley the Virgin Ashley
- 1:41Speaker 1: are like, of course I'm down for it. There to
- 1:43Speaker 1: be like no sex if that's the choice. Actually, nobody
- 1:46Speaker 1: is going to be mad at you for wanting and
- 1:48Speaker 1: thinking it's funny. That's called sex. Okay, okay, okay, but
- 1:51Speaker 1: it's really Jared. So this episode we're gonna break down
- 1:55Speaker 1: right now. There's a lot to talk about, but mostly
- 1:57Speaker 1: around one topic. So we're gonna fly through. I think
- 2:00Speaker 1: the two of the three Fantasy Suits dates talk a
- 2:04Speaker 1: little bit about Katie. The big question overwhelmingly for me
- 2:07Speaker 1: and I to get this thing started. I would love
- 2:09Speaker 1: to hear the big question on your mind as we
- 2:12Speaker 1: walk into breaking this down is who's right and who's wrong?
- 2:16Speaker 1: Like where did things go wrong? Is a question that
- 2:20Speaker 1: exists in my mind because there's a lot of different opinions.
- 2:24Speaker 1: You would think, you know, if you didn't dig in,
- 2:26Speaker 1: everybody would be anti what Zach did. But some people
- 2:31Speaker 1: are saying, hey, it was very honest, it was very
- 2:33Speaker 1: nice of him, It's very respectful. Now you'll hear my
- 2:37Speaker 1: opinion a bit. McKinnon Ashley, what is your big questions
- 2:41Speaker 1: after watching this week's Fantasy Sweets Dates? Well, can I
- 2:45Speaker 1: go first? Okay? I feel like I would have reacted
- 2:49Speaker 1: the same way like Gabby reacted, in the sense of
- 2:52Speaker 1: him coming to her saying I need to tell everyone
- 2:54Speaker 1: we had sex last night for me to feel better.
- 2:56Speaker 1: And I think I felt the exact same way that
- 2:58Speaker 1: Katie felt, being like like, I know what's happening, but
- 3:02Speaker 1: I don't need you to confirm it for me before,
- 3:05Speaker 1: like hours before we're supposed to have our quality time together.
- 3:09Speaker 1: Like I just feel like, yeah, maybe he needed to
- 3:12Speaker 1: get that like off his chest so he could like
- 3:15Speaker 1: feel good about his decision at the end of the day.
- 3:18Speaker 1: But for those girls, like I just I felt for them,
- 3:21Speaker 1: and I don't know, I don't know how I would
- 3:24Speaker 1: like recover, like for Katie, like props to her for
- 3:28Speaker 1: like going for the rest of the night, because I
- 3:30Speaker 1: think I would just been like like she would said
- 3:33Speaker 1: it right, She's like, do you want me to say
- 3:34Speaker 1: a good job? Like cool? Like I don't need to
- 3:36Speaker 1: like no, like yeah, high five. And then like Gabby,
- 3:40Speaker 1: it's like we just had this great night together, like
- 3:43Speaker 1: we don't you don't need to be telling everyone about
- 3:46Speaker 1: our nightiate thing? Would you say? The appropriate question to
- 3:52Speaker 1: start out this show for you would be uh, was
- 3:58Speaker 1: Zach being selfish? Was that a fair question for you
- 4:00Speaker 1: to like ended his selfishness hurt others? Would that be
- 4:04Speaker 1: a fair question? Or how would you phrase where your
- 4:07Speaker 1: mind's at in a phrase? After watching I think he
- 4:11Speaker 1: was almost like thinking about him Yeah, he was thinking
- 4:13Speaker 1: about himself in that moment, and like, I get that
- 4:16Speaker 1: he needed to come clean, but sometimes it's in that situation,
- 4:20Speaker 1: probably better just to keep that between you and Gabby.
- 4:23Speaker 1: Cannot wait to dive into more of this with you
- 4:25Speaker 1: because I have some very strong opinions, Okay, all right,
- 4:29Speaker 1: that we're going to share. Ashley, if there's a phrase
- 4:33Speaker 1: or something on your mind after watching last night, what
- 4:35Speaker 1: would that be? Okay? Well, initially my thought was that
- 4:39Speaker 1: it all depends on the person who's receiving the message.
- 4:44Speaker 1: In Katie's situation, okay, because some people may have wanted
- 4:48Speaker 1: to know, and I think that Zach is probably the
- 4:51Speaker 1: person that would want to know, which is why he
- 4:53Speaker 1: assumed that Katie would want to know. Didn't realize Katie
- 4:56Speaker 1: wouldn't want to know. So in that case, I think
- 4:59Speaker 1: you go back and forth on the appropriateness of it.
- 5:02Speaker 1: I think it just depends on the person. Now when
- 5:05Speaker 1: Gabby situation, yeah, he's I think he is being selfish.
- 5:10Speaker 1: He's trying to get guilt off his shoulders in telling
- 5:13Speaker 1: other girls what happened between them. His big mistake, of course,
- 5:18Speaker 1: is at the top of the show when he declared
- 5:20Speaker 1: that this is what he was going to do. I
- 5:22Speaker 1: can't believe he made such a mistake, especially following Clayton's season,
- 5:26Speaker 1: which Clayton was like, I slept with all three of
- 5:29Speaker 1: the girls and I said I love you basically to
- 5:31Speaker 1: all three of your girls that you think that he
- 5:33Speaker 1: wouldn't want to blanket anything. Yeah, well let's kick it
- 5:36Speaker 1: off even though it had good intention. Yeah. The question
- 5:40Speaker 1: there then for me, after I listen to you, actually
- 5:42Speaker 1: is did he have good intention? I think it's something
- 5:46Speaker 1: to think about. Really, Yeah, you think that the beginning
- 5:48Speaker 1: of the week he may have had mal intention? No? No, no, no,
- 5:52Speaker 1: no oh. I think the good intention is when he
- 5:55Speaker 1: started to openly express what happened in the fantasy suits
- 5:59Speaker 1: with other people. Then in that case, I don't know.
- 6:01Speaker 1: And I also have to say that I think that
- 6:05Speaker 1: I wonder what would have been the situation if Ariel
- 6:07Speaker 1: went last and it wasn't Katie going last, Like if
- 6:10Speaker 1: he had to tell Ariel, would he tell Ariel or
- 6:12Speaker 1: did he have to tell Katie? Because in his head
- 6:14Speaker 1: going up to this point, he was going to pick Katie,
- 6:19Speaker 1: and then he was like, I'm definitely not going to
- 6:21Speaker 1: go into an engagement without telling this woman, So I'm
- 6:24Speaker 1: gonna have to tell her at some point, as might
- 6:25Speaker 1: as well tell her at the beginning. I have so
- 6:27Speaker 1: many thoughts. Well, I will say I think out of
- 6:30Speaker 1: the three of us, I'm the only one that has
- 6:32Speaker 1: spent any time in a fantasy suite, so I know
- 6:34Speaker 1: what they will fantasy suits to call them like the
- 6:39Speaker 1: most real they're not. Yeah, they're talking most real during
- 6:43Speaker 1: the main shows there, Yeah, I know what they look like,
- 6:46Speaker 1: I know how they go. I will say this to
- 6:51Speaker 1: kick off then breaking down each one of these fantasy
- 6:54Speaker 1: suites no matter what, and again we'll share my opinion
- 6:59Speaker 1: here in a bit. I was engaged in this episode.
- 7:02Speaker 1: I felt like it was a in a sense, a
- 7:05Speaker 1: throwback Bachelor episode that felt like, Hey, I want to
- 7:08Speaker 1: know what's going to happen around every turn. I might
- 7:10Speaker 1: not agree with what's happening. I might not like what's happening,
- 7:13Speaker 1: but I'm engaged in the content and I'm engage in
- 7:16Speaker 1: the emotions of everybody involved, which is not always the case,
- 7:20Speaker 1: as we've been very clear as of recent Okay, they're
- 7:25Speaker 1: in Thailand this week. What a beautiful place to spend
- 7:30Speaker 1: a week. I can't imagine, though, what travel looked like
- 7:33Speaker 1: for them. I mean, they were just in hometowns last week.
- 7:35Speaker 1: Now all of a sudden, they're in Thailand. That's not
- 7:36Speaker 1: a short flight, that's not an easy flight. They got
- 7:39Speaker 1: to be exhausted, exhausted time changed and everything too. Yeah,
- 7:45Speaker 1: Ariel's the first Fantasy Sweets date. Ariel looked good, like
- 7:49Speaker 1: she was beautiful the whole time. I was like, I
- 7:54Speaker 1: was like, what you the look? And Zach mentioned it,
- 8:00Speaker 1: but that look that she gives like they were eating
- 8:03Speaker 1: or something. He's like, she can just like stare into
- 8:05Speaker 1: me and like I lose my mind. I'm like, I
- 8:08Speaker 1: get it, like she did it through the TV. I
- 8:10Speaker 1: was like, holy, I'm a married man, but you gotta stop.
- 8:14Speaker 1: She's sexy, like that's the thing, mystery, just like, uh,
- 8:19Speaker 1: there's she just has that and that is an ability
- 8:24Speaker 1: or that's like a radiation that I don't think you
- 8:27Speaker 1: can just achieve. I think you're born with it. Yeah,
- 8:30Speaker 1: you're born with it. She said the most attractive phrase
- 8:33Speaker 1: that anybody could say to me. This is attractive for me,
- 8:36Speaker 1: not for everybody. But she said something to Zach where
- 8:39Speaker 1: she's like, you know what, I don't hate I'm not
- 8:42Speaker 1: gonna get it exactly right, but she's like, I don't
- 8:44Speaker 1: hate having fancy dates. I don't hate crazy experiences, but
- 8:47Speaker 1: what I really like is the dates that we can
- 8:49Speaker 1: kind of make memories on that we can enjoy together.
- 8:52Speaker 1: And I was Like, what an amazing thing for somebody
- 8:55Speaker 1: to say, as you're getting closer to the end, that
- 8:57Speaker 1: they're not expecting m the world all the time, that
- 9:01Speaker 1: they just want to be with you, that they want
- 9:02Speaker 1: to eat bugs and have fun. Also a quick note,
- 9:07Speaker 1: this is the first time I think in any Bachelor
- 9:09Speaker 1: season that they've eaten bugs and not reacted in a
- 9:13Speaker 1: like in an inappropriate, like hurtful way towards the culture.
- 9:17Speaker 1: I really love that, Like, this is something that people
- 9:21Speaker 1: in Thailand obviously eat and it's probably pretty good. You
- 9:24Speaker 1: just got to get over the fact that it has legs. Yeah,
- 9:27Speaker 1: but every other season, no matter what they've eaten, they've
- 9:30Speaker 1: almost acted like it's the grossest thing they could possibly
- 9:32Speaker 1: put in their mouth, which is offensive, right, it's offensive
- 9:35Speaker 1: towards people to eat that. I love that they enjoyed it.
- 9:39Speaker 1: That was awesome to me. Yeah, they were having fun
- 9:42Speaker 1: with it. They were digging into everything with plega. So ladies,
- 9:49Speaker 1: throw it to you. This day is going on. Is
- 9:52Speaker 1: there any moment where you thought Aerial would be there
- 9:54Speaker 1: next week after their Fantasy Suite date. No, just because
- 9:59Speaker 1: we knew it was to come. If we didn't have
- 10:01Speaker 1: all the teamses, then I would have been thinking otherwise.
- 10:05Speaker 1: But because we knew he was going to sleep with
- 10:07Speaker 1: somebody next and just based on rumors, and again I'm
- 10:11Speaker 1: not spoiled. I don't want to be spoiled. But just
- 10:15Speaker 1: like with brushing social media, it seemed as if he
- 10:19Speaker 1: was going to sleep with Gabby or Ariel because everybody
- 10:24Speaker 1: thinks of Katie as his front runner. And what I
- 10:26Speaker 1: was kind of getting was that he wasn't going that
- 10:30Speaker 1: he wasn't sleeping with the front runner. McKinnon, what did
- 10:35Speaker 1: you think? Um? I didn't have a whole idea what's
- 10:39Speaker 1: gonna happened? Um, I just watched last night. But um
- 10:44Speaker 1: I liked Ariel. I thought they had like a great connection.
- 10:47Speaker 1: So like, I wouldn't have been been surprised if she was,
- 10:50Speaker 1: you know, in the final two. So Ashley, based on
- 10:54Speaker 1: what you said, then, how did you know that it
- 10:56Speaker 1: wasn't Arial that he and he slept with, Yeah, that
- 10:59Speaker 1: he slept with because they said they said at the
- 11:01Speaker 1: end of the day and they dragged that out. We
- 11:03Speaker 1: were waiting with baited breath, is he gonna say? And
- 11:06Speaker 1: I couldn't keep to my plan and he was like,
- 11:09Speaker 1: and we didn't. He literally said we didn't have sex,
- 11:13Speaker 1: and it made me start thinking about the ordering of
- 11:16Speaker 1: the dates. At first, I was like, oh, could Katie
- 11:18Speaker 1: have gone first? You know all that. No, they this time,
- 11:22Speaker 1: they showed the three fantasy suites in chronological order. Yeah.
- 11:26Speaker 1: I was surprised though, because I think this is like,
- 11:28Speaker 1: so this is a little you'll get it. I think
- 11:36Speaker 1: everybody thinks of Ariel as being like this XE one right,
- 11:40Speaker 1: and people kept thinking like, Oh, she's gonna be the temptress.
- 11:44Speaker 1: It's not gonna be able to say no to her
- 11:46Speaker 1: in the fantasy suite, and it wasn't her, and I
- 11:48Speaker 1: think that was a surprise. I was surprised that it
- 11:50Speaker 1: was that it was Gabby over Ariel. They're both beautiful women,
- 11:55Speaker 1: They're all beautiful, wonderful women. But I do think that
- 11:59Speaker 1: most of the fandom was expecting it to be with Ariel,
- 12:03Speaker 1: and going off of what you said Ben last week,
- 12:06Speaker 1: it seemed like Ariel to him was the one that
- 12:09Speaker 1: was hard to get and he kept being like, Oh,
- 12:12Speaker 1: I gotta get this girl. She's the sexiest girl I've
- 12:15Speaker 1: ever been around. But I don't know if she likes
- 12:18Speaker 1: me so much. And I think like, if given the opportunity,
- 12:20Speaker 1: it's probably like you want to land a girl like that.
- 12:23Speaker 1: I think I think, yeah, so that you know, would
- 12:28Speaker 1: have been love or lust. And that's really a question
- 12:30Speaker 1: for this whole show is what was his intention by
- 12:32Speaker 1: saying to Jesse at the beginning of all these dates
- 12:35Speaker 1: that he is not going to have sex now. He
- 12:37Speaker 1: based it on Sean Lowe's advice, which I don't remember
- 12:41Speaker 1: hearing from Sean during the show, that you know, he
- 12:44Speaker 1: should not have sex during the fantasy suits. I'm sure
- 12:46Speaker 1: that conversation did exist because I think that was Sean. Yeah,
- 12:50Speaker 1: just an air but it was Sean's big storyline kind
- 12:52Speaker 1: of during his season was that he was a born
- 12:55Speaker 1: again virgin. So he gives Zach this advice to not
- 12:59Speaker 1: have sex. Now, as we look back, was that good advice? Yeah,
- 13:06Speaker 1: I think it's fine advice for Sean Lowe himself. Was
- 13:11Speaker 1: it good advice for Zach to take, just not good
- 13:15Speaker 1: advice for his Zach to declare, yeah, I just think
- 13:19Speaker 1: to put those expectations out like, I don't know. I
- 13:24Speaker 1: think he just he went with his head thinking like
- 13:27Speaker 1: that's what I'm gonna do, and then I think maybe
- 13:29Speaker 1: it just did. It didn't work out for him, right,
- 13:31Speaker 1: and then he kind of he's going to hurt someone
- 13:33Speaker 1: in the end by saying that he's not going to
- 13:36Speaker 1: and telling everyone, every girl that right. So, there is
- 13:40Speaker 1: one thing that I want to know, because I've been
- 13:43Speaker 1: through this, what happens in the Fantasy Suite, at least
- 13:46Speaker 1: in my opinion, was always very private. No matter what
- 13:49Speaker 1: you were choosing to do. If you were choosing not to,
- 13:51Speaker 1: nobody need to know that you weren't going to. It
- 13:54Speaker 1: wasn't important for the audience to know if you were
- 13:58Speaker 1: going to. Nobody really need No, it wasn't important for
- 14:01Speaker 1: the audience to know, and the producers were very supportive
- 14:04Speaker 1: of that. Like that was my stance is whatever happens
- 14:07Speaker 1: is going to happen between us because it's the Fantasy Suites.
- 14:10Speaker 1: This is about us. This is the one moment we've
- 14:12Speaker 1: had that doesn't have to air. Nothing has to be
- 14:15Speaker 1: known about what happens behind the scenes. You can make
- 14:17Speaker 1: little innu windows, you can make jokes, you can do
- 14:20Speaker 1: all those things, but the show doesn't need you to
- 14:24Speaker 1: make the declaration of what's going to happen and them,
- 14:27Speaker 1: and the producers never asked me to because I think
- 14:30Speaker 1: it would be weird if they sat down. They're like, yeah,
- 14:32Speaker 1: but we really want to know what you're going to
- 14:33Speaker 1: do in there, Like yeah, we're really into the idea
- 14:37Speaker 1: of thinking about you. No, that's not a thing, like
- 14:39Speaker 1: they didn't care. That's another thing. Like I felt bad
- 14:43Speaker 1: about Gabby, Gabby, because never do we have a situation
- 14:47Speaker 1: where it's like confirmation that they had sex, right, they
- 14:50Speaker 1: try to allude to it every time, whether they did
- 14:52Speaker 1: or not. Sure, But then I couldn't help but think
- 14:55Speaker 1: in my head, I was imagining the two of them,
- 14:58Speaker 1: specifically the two of them only I don't think that happens.
- 15:01Speaker 1: But it's because it was like that happened. And then
- 15:04Speaker 1: when he was telling Katie that happened, I was seeing
- 15:07Speaker 1: it happened in Katie's brain. Oh yeah. If she's then
- 15:10Speaker 1: like thinking it, I think there aren't they like really
- 15:12Speaker 1: close friends too, from sure what I've seen, Like, yeah,
- 15:16Speaker 1: I like that's just like a weird That's what I said,
- 15:19Speaker 1: Like she has to go into her fantasy suite a
- 15:22Speaker 1: couple hours later, and like that's what's on her mind,
- 15:24Speaker 1: Like it's just it's a well, it's Gabby's date now
- 15:30Speaker 1: it's a good transition. Now, I mean Ariels Fantasy Suite.
- 15:33Speaker 1: I'm almost as forgotten at this point it is. It
- 15:36Speaker 1: was here and gone, and after the show ended Ariel's
- 15:39Speaker 1: Fantasy Suite date. No matter how amazing she was and
- 15:43Speaker 1: great the date was, it's not a story. There's nothing
- 15:47Speaker 1: to follow up with. So we go on the Gabby's date,
- 15:50Speaker 1: which is a very nice date. I don't even remember
- 15:54Speaker 1: what they do. I felt like the entire episode was
- 15:57Speaker 1: strictly about whether they do or do not have zach No.
- 16:00Speaker 1: I mean it's kind of true. I don't know if
- 16:04Speaker 1: I remember what they do either. In fact, I think
- 16:07Speaker 1: they went to their own island, an island, and she
- 16:09Speaker 1: was just like upset because she was in her head.
- 16:11Speaker 1: Oh that's right, she's at the beach. Actually, this is
- 16:13Speaker 1: probably the only other part of the HSOD that like
- 16:16Speaker 1: really meant something. Yeah. Yeah. She talked about how she
- 16:19Speaker 1: was just super insecure and felt like she was going
- 16:21Speaker 1: to be second second second, second, second, And I'm like,
- 16:24Speaker 1: oh god, we're frost shadowing something, aren't we. This is
- 16:27Speaker 1: a nick vile situation. Well, and I think it's important
- 16:31Speaker 1: to say. I mean, I was in the final three
- 16:33Speaker 1: during Caitlin's season, you get a pretty good sense at
- 16:35Speaker 1: this point where you stand. It's there's a very few
- 16:38Speaker 1: seasons where it's a complete shocker to the second place
- 16:41Speaker 1: person that they're not chosen. I think there's some heartbreak.
- 16:44Speaker 1: I think there's some hopes. I think the producers are
- 16:47Speaker 1: behind the scenes trying to lift them up and tell
- 16:49Speaker 1: them how great they are and tell them that this
- 16:50Speaker 1: is going to be a beautiful, you know, engagement. But
- 16:54Speaker 1: you in your head, in your gut, you know where
- 16:57Speaker 1: you stand. I mean, I knew that that Sean and
- 16:59Speaker 1: Nick had more of a connection with Caitlin than I did.
- 17:02Speaker 1: I knew I was going home. I didn't want to
- 17:03Speaker 1: believe it, but I knew it. Well. I think Ariel
- 17:07Speaker 1: felt that way. But do you think that Gabby is
- 17:10Speaker 1: in her head definitely being like, I know I'm second,
- 17:12Speaker 1: I know I'm second. I think so, and I think
- 17:15Speaker 1: I think so. It's important note that in Gabby's passed
- 17:18Speaker 1: she brought up that this, you know, she she feels
- 17:20Speaker 1: that second like she feels like second place and that
- 17:23Speaker 1: this is an insecurity for her right so, you know,
- 17:37Speaker 1: I don't know how much Zach can reassure her that
- 17:39Speaker 1: she's not going to be second. I don't know if
- 17:41Speaker 1: that'd be fair. I tried to do that and that
- 17:43Speaker 1: didn't work out for me during my season. So he
- 17:48Speaker 1: follows a similar path to yeah, he kind of does, Yeah,
- 17:51Speaker 1: he's not, he's he's he's walking a very thin line. Um.
- 17:56Speaker 1: But I don't know how much he could have reassured her,
- 17:58Speaker 1: or should have reassured her that she's not going to
- 18:00Speaker 1: be second. I think that's an insecurity she had to
- 18:02Speaker 1: communicate to him, and that you know, he takes in
- 18:05Speaker 1: at this point, and he either fulfills it by you know,
- 18:08Speaker 1: proposing to her at the end, or he confirms it
- 18:12Speaker 1: by now we know, either getting second or first. But
- 18:17Speaker 1: she really cares about Zach, and I think we're seeing
- 18:19Speaker 1: that about Gabby of the last few weeks. She really
- 18:21Speaker 1: cares about him, she really trusts him, she misses him
- 18:26Speaker 1: when they're gone. And so the Island is a unique
- 18:28Speaker 1: kind of situation where she is expressing these kind of
- 18:31Speaker 1: final day insecurities and also reassuring Zach that I'm only
- 18:36Speaker 1: feeling this way because I care about you so much. Zach.
- 18:39Speaker 1: At this point, U kind of talks about that he's
- 18:42Speaker 1: not he's made this commitment to not have sex Gabby.
- 18:48Speaker 1: Gabby takes no, She's not happy because again, and I
- 18:52Speaker 1: want to hear this from your perspectives, because at this point,
- 18:56Speaker 1: you know, as we're watching the show, if this is
- 18:59Speaker 1: a standard at which Zach is going to set, and
- 19:01Speaker 1: if he's going to make this declaration on every day
- 19:04Speaker 1: and he's going to stick to that declaration, we don't
- 19:06Speaker 1: know that he doesn't. At this point, I'm saying it's
- 19:09Speaker 1: fair for his act to communicate to her. Now again,
- 19:11Speaker 1: could he have done it behind closed doors that you
- 19:13Speaker 1: have to do it so the public knew he did it.
- 19:17Speaker 1: He could have done it in the fantasy suits and
- 19:18Speaker 1: when they got inside been like, hey, this is just
- 19:20Speaker 1: something that I think is right for tonight. Yeah. Yeah,
- 19:23Speaker 1: but he does it. She reacts and she's hurt or
- 19:26Speaker 1: confused or feeling like it just reassures her already insecurities.
- 19:30Speaker 1: From your perspectives, why is she feeling that way? What's
- 19:33Speaker 1: going on in her head? What's happening? Mccanna? You go first,
- 19:37Speaker 1: I think if I was like in her shoes, I
- 19:40Speaker 1: think I would just I mean, I get the whole
- 19:44Speaker 1: feeling of feeling insecure, and you're in that situation, You're
- 19:48Speaker 1: you're constantly comparing yourself to these other girls, right always,
- 19:51Speaker 1: like you're just thinking, well, he just had this date
- 19:53Speaker 1: with this girl, and like like you're just constantly thinking that.
- 19:57Speaker 1: And I think she just thought like, oh, so like
- 20:01Speaker 1: that's off the tables tonight, which is fine, But what
- 20:04Speaker 1: if I want, like what if I needed that extra
- 20:07Speaker 1: little something with you? Maybe possibly like it could be
- 20:12Speaker 1: maybe that's big for me at the end of this,
- 20:14Speaker 1: like if we get and get gauge. Like it's just
- 20:17Speaker 1: I think she just is going through her head like
- 20:20Speaker 1: there's like a hamster wheel in the back of her head,
- 20:22Speaker 1: just constantly going like, Okay, well now you doesn't want
- 20:25Speaker 1: to do that? Now? Am I going to be second
- 20:27Speaker 1: if it doesn't. I think that's just like her head
- 20:30Speaker 1: is just constantly going yeah. I think that I think
- 20:36Speaker 1: she knows that it's something that he's doing all week. Yeah,
- 20:39Speaker 1: but I feel like in her head she's a little
- 20:41Speaker 1: bit twisting it to be like, oh he doesn't want
- 20:43Speaker 1: to have sex with yeah, that thing that we do,
- 20:48Speaker 1: it's one important note and I think it might have
- 20:51Speaker 1: I don't think Zach had ill intention in making this declaration.
- 20:54Speaker 1: I don't. I think maybe on the back end of
- 20:58Speaker 1: the episode he does have some intention that he can't
- 21:00Speaker 1: quite figure out what to do and if it's right
- 21:02Speaker 1: or wrong. That's why the questions beginning was who's right
- 21:05Speaker 1: and who's wrong. But I think through this whole season
- 21:10Speaker 1: and we've been critical of Zach mckinna, we've also been
- 21:13Speaker 1: supportive of Zach. We've thought he's had really great moments
- 21:16Speaker 1: and moments that just like any season in any lead,
- 21:19Speaker 1: no matter after the Bachelor or Bachelor, we question I
- 21:24Speaker 1: think for me here and it's been a criticism through
- 21:27Speaker 1: the whole episode. I think Zach believes this is his season,
- 21:30Speaker 1: like this is about him finding love about him, Yeah,
- 21:34Speaker 1: it's about him. It is a little selfish about it.
- 21:36Speaker 1: I agree. It goes back to like all the moments
- 21:39Speaker 1: where it's like girls bring up like how they're feeling,
- 21:41Speaker 1: and yeah, he's like, we're not on the same page.
- 21:45Speaker 1: I have a girl around here, and it she'll be
- 21:47Speaker 1: on the same page as me. Always it's all about, yeah,
- 21:50Speaker 1: be on the same page as me. I think, no
- 21:52Speaker 1: matter what you know, obviously, and if we can only
- 21:56Speaker 1: base it on our personal experiences, you know, my wife
- 21:58Speaker 1: and I went nowadays a fairly untraditional path right where
- 22:02Speaker 1: we didn't have sex before we got married, and it's
- 22:05Speaker 1: worked out really well for us. We're very healthy and
- 22:07Speaker 1: happy and doing great. It doesn't it's not everybody's cup
- 22:10Speaker 1: of tea. I get that, and so there's there's no
- 22:13Speaker 1: right or wrong on how you know, every couple has
- 22:15Speaker 1: their own dance, as my mother in law says, But
- 22:20Speaker 1: I think when it comes to sex, especially sex and
- 22:23Speaker 1: insecurities and every element of a relationship, it's a two
- 22:27Speaker 1: sided street. Like you have to communicate and you have
- 22:31Speaker 1: to hear it out, and you have to hear what
- 22:33Speaker 1: Gabby's gonna feel when you say, hey, I'm thinking that
- 22:36Speaker 1: this would be the wisest thing, and here's why I'm thinking,
- 22:38Speaker 1: what do you think about that? Instead, it was like,
- 22:41Speaker 1: I'm making this decision for both of us and if
- 22:45Speaker 1: it hurts, sorry, And I don't know if that's right.
- 22:50Speaker 1: I don't know, Especially when it's down to the final three.
- 22:53Speaker 1: This is everybody's season. Everybody's in this equal weight trying
- 22:57Speaker 1: to figure out if this is going to be the
- 22:58Speaker 1: right person for each other. Well, put yeah, because I
- 23:02Speaker 1: mean they have to pick him too, right, so it's
- 23:04Speaker 1: not just about him. Yeah, and she's saying that like
- 23:09Speaker 1: she really felt like it was an important thing to
- 23:11Speaker 1: experience before getting engaged. Yeah, and it is kind of like, yeah,
- 23:16Speaker 1: I think weird. But she's the one that made the
- 23:18Speaker 1: little joke saying I didn't think I'd get engaged to
- 23:20Speaker 1: someone without sleeping with them. Yeah, it seemed like it
- 23:23Speaker 1: was a big a big deal and maybe yeah, deal
- 23:27Speaker 1: breaker for her to get engage to someone. So it's
- 23:30Speaker 1: definitely probably annoying for her to be like, oh, okay,
- 23:33Speaker 1: so I guess I know who the decision maker not
- 23:34Speaker 1: relationship is mmmmmmmmmm. Yeah. Well they have a dinner portion,
- 23:41Speaker 1: everything's going fine. They go back to the fantasy suites,
- 23:45Speaker 1: and this is where the show really um takes a turn. Right.
- 23:50Speaker 1: They wake up the next morning. Uh, they're very happy.
- 23:54Speaker 1: Like I didn't think they did because it like to me, neither,
- 23:57Speaker 1: it seemed too light. Yeah, you got eyes. But like
- 24:01Speaker 1: if I was to stick, like make a declaration to
- 24:04Speaker 1: be so confident in like what I want to do,
- 24:07Speaker 1: and then like I go against that, especially like a
- 24:10Speaker 1: thing like sex, there's like this, Uh, your mind plays
- 24:13Speaker 1: games with you, right, no matter what you want to
- 24:15Speaker 1: believe it's a powerful thing. And so unless you both
- 24:18Speaker 1: like have walked into it being like, this is gonna
- 24:20Speaker 1: be blast, We're gonna roll around the sheets all night,
- 24:23Speaker 1: We're gonna have so much fun, and then you wake
- 24:24Speaker 1: up you're like, that was great. But if you walk
- 24:26Speaker 1: into it saying this is not what I'm gonna do tonight.
- 24:28Speaker 1: No matter what it is in your life, you set
- 24:30Speaker 1: some standard or boundary and you've crossed that standard or
- 24:32Speaker 1: boundary when you wake up in the morning. It at
- 24:35Speaker 1: least for me and tell me if I'm weird here.
- 24:38Speaker 1: I feel a sense of guilt and shame, which I
- 24:40Speaker 1: don't think it's healthy, but it happens, and so I'm
- 24:44Speaker 1: I'm in my own head for until I can get
- 24:46Speaker 1: out of my own head for a long time, I know.
- 24:48Speaker 1: So then when I was watching this before, they were like,
- 24:51Speaker 1: something changed, and we did we did it where we
- 24:54Speaker 1: were intimate. Yeah, I was like, oh gosh, he sleeps
- 25:00Speaker 1: with Katie. Okay, And then yeah, they dropped the bomb
- 25:03Speaker 1: on us. But wait a second, can we just have
- 25:05Speaker 1: a little bit of laughter right now in the fact
- 25:07Speaker 1: that he is not an f boy at all. I
- 25:10Speaker 1: know he's not, but he sounded so much like one
- 25:13Speaker 1: when he was like, Jesse, I know I made this
- 25:16Speaker 1: this plan, but guess what change plants change good old
- 25:23Speaker 1: yeck mckinna. What do you think? Do you do you
- 25:26Speaker 1: feel like that morning was oddly peaceful and like kind
- 25:31Speaker 1: of pointed if they had sex or not to something
- 25:33Speaker 1: really special. I think watching and I knew right away
- 25:38Speaker 1: they like just like their energy. I think I think
- 25:41Speaker 1: looking at her, I feel like her whole right, she
- 25:45Speaker 1: was just like waish, like yeah, there was that she
- 25:49Speaker 1: was beaming with excitement, and I think, I don't know,
- 25:53Speaker 1: like her waving goodbye, like it just gave off that
- 25:56Speaker 1: like they did have a very special night, and like
- 26:03Speaker 1: I think, Ken, yeah, don't you think that it wasn't
- 26:06Speaker 1: just like a like the post sex glow such and
- 26:09Speaker 1: it was also like a I made him change his
- 26:13Speaker 1: plans I want. Yeah that's a thing. Yeah, oh yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 26:19Speaker 1: I definitely think she had that yeah, being like he
- 26:22Speaker 1: said this, but yeah, I mean but look at me. Yeah, yeah,
- 26:27Speaker 1: like I'm so hot and seductive that I changed the
- 26:30Speaker 1: course of bachelor history. But I mean, go her, go her. Yeah,
- 26:36Speaker 1: but do you get it? She got what she wanted
- 26:37Speaker 1: because I'm unfamiliar with this mindset. Um, do you think
- 26:42Speaker 1: that happens when he said, hey, we're not going to
- 26:45Speaker 1: do you think she said I'm going to take the
- 26:46Speaker 1: power back? Like, is that part of it? Am? I No?
- 26:49Speaker 1: I think maybe something just happened between them during that night.
- 26:54Speaker 1: I don't think it. I mean, you never know when
- 26:56Speaker 1: I wasn't obviously in there. But um, but like I
- 26:59Speaker 1: think I think that they were just I mean, were
- 27:04Speaker 1: they Do they have the room with like the bathtub,
- 27:06Speaker 1: with like the like yeah, Like I don't know. I
- 27:08Speaker 1: think you walk in there being like this is pretty
- 27:10Speaker 1: chromatic and well that's what I was thinking too. Are
- 27:14Speaker 1: they going to just go in the bath and then
- 27:16Speaker 1: show each other naked and then just feel like we
- 27:18Speaker 1: can't we can't. Sorry? Yeah, Like I just think I
- 27:22Speaker 1: don't know, Like yeah, I mean, and like, let's let's
- 27:27Speaker 1: like frame this a little bit for all parties involved.
- 27:31Speaker 1: I wasn't necessarily kidding when I said that, You've been
- 27:36Speaker 1: dating and kissing and rubbing up against and traveling the
- 27:40Speaker 1: world in the most romantic dates and looking really good
- 27:43Speaker 1: yourself and seeing other people look really good for three,
- 27:46Speaker 1: you know, close to three months now, Like that's a
- 27:49Speaker 1: there's a lot going on inside of a human no
- 27:52Speaker 1: matter what kind of like boundaries you set physically, you're
- 27:57Speaker 1: an adult male and female, and you're feeling a lot
- 28:01Speaker 1: like you're your your hormones are raging, you're like a
- 28:05Speaker 1: teenager again, and you haven't had a lot of the
- 28:08Speaker 1: loane time, and so there's just a lot. So you
- 28:11Speaker 1: get in a room with somebody who's beautiful. Zach's a
- 28:16Speaker 1: beautiful man. God, he's a beautiful girl. And like, I'm
- 28:19Speaker 1: not surprised. None of this is shocking to this point, right.
- 28:22Speaker 1: The only shocking part is Zach thought he was not
- 28:24Speaker 1: going to or he had set some boundary not to.
- 28:27Speaker 1: But none of this is shocking, and none of this
- 28:29Speaker 1: is unfamiliar territory to the Bachelor world. It happens every
- 28:34Speaker 1: season at some level, right if you and you're staying
- 28:37Speaker 1: in a bed with somebody, so either you're just like
- 28:39Speaker 1: making out and you're setting that like everybody's made out.
- 28:42Speaker 1: I'm sure Shan Lowe like made out real hard with
- 28:45Speaker 1: like all of his people, even you know, he might
- 28:48Speaker 1: have been able to stop himself. Everybody's making out. You've
- 28:52Speaker 1: done it all season. So the conversation with Jesse is
- 28:57Speaker 1: somewhat worthy to be skipped over, he tells Jesse except
- 29:01Speaker 1: for the fact it was hilarious. It was hilarious, and Jesse,
- 29:05Speaker 1: I think I couldn't tell if he knew what was
- 29:07Speaker 1: going to be said going into it, because he's kind
- 29:09Speaker 1: of like drinking as like Zach talking and he stopped.
- 29:11Speaker 1: He's like, it was like, ohh And I know from
- 29:15Speaker 1: like Chris's experience, they don't alway, the host doesn't always
- 29:18Speaker 1: know what's happening, right, because there's that shock factor. And
- 29:23Speaker 1: it felt like if you watched it closely, like Jesse
- 29:25Speaker 1: had sprinted across the resort to get to the room
- 29:29Speaker 1: on time. He was like, Jesse's a fit male. He
- 29:32Speaker 1: works out and he was like out of breath. He's Zach,
- 29:36Speaker 1: what's going on? Man? And they sit down. Jesse has
- 29:38Speaker 1: a glass of water like I'm sweating, and he's a
- 29:41Speaker 1: little shocked. So Zach admits that that that Gabby and
- 29:47Speaker 1: Zach slept together. Oh wait, I have something to say here.
- 29:52Speaker 1: Why do you think that Zach would tell production this?
- 29:54Speaker 1: This is where it's like what was he thinking? Like? Why? Okay,
- 29:57Speaker 1: so he sleeps with Gabby? Why do you think that
- 30:00Speaker 1: he went to his producer and was like, you know what,
- 30:03Speaker 1: we did it? Yeah? How much grinding do you think
- 30:06Speaker 1: that they needed to do? Well? Zach keeps phrasing this,
- 30:10Speaker 1: and this is where we're going to get into now
- 30:12Speaker 1: the meat of the episode. There's some phrases that Zach
- 30:16Speaker 1: uses that I think are a little confusing to Katie
- 30:19Speaker 1: and to Gabby. Zach says, I can't lie is kind
- 30:22Speaker 1: of his excuse here. I just can't lie. But there's
- 30:25Speaker 1: no lying involved here in my opinion. Right, he told
- 30:29Speaker 1: Ariel that he wasn't going to have sex this week.
- 30:31Speaker 1: That was something, you know, So maybe he had to
- 30:33Speaker 1: tell Ariel that, hey, I messed up. Maybe I don't
- 30:37Speaker 1: even think it's appropriate. Yeah, but there's no lying involved.
- 30:41Speaker 1: It's a it's it's not even a secret. It is
- 30:45Speaker 1: a moment with somebody you care about that you feel
- 30:48Speaker 1: like needs to be kept between the two of you. Yeah,
- 30:51Speaker 1: So I don't know. You know why he told production
- 30:55Speaker 1: is he is he kind of does my whole self
- 30:59Speaker 1: describing thing where he's like, I'm just too honest of
- 31:01Speaker 1: a human. I have a huge art and I just
- 31:03Speaker 1: I gotta be honest and I'm like, no, like, you
- 31:07Speaker 1: don't in this situation give it yourself. Okay, well it hypothetical.
- 31:11Speaker 1: Here he goes, he keeps things to himself. He ends
- 31:16Speaker 1: up where you have to assume in this case that
- 31:18Speaker 1: he doesn't pick Gabby, because if he picks Gabby, no problem. Yeah,
- 31:22Speaker 1: between the two of them forever. Yeah. So he goes
- 31:25Speaker 1: and he picks Katie. Then he's supposed to tell Katie
- 31:29Speaker 1: in private after the engagement. Yeah, and then how is
- 31:31Speaker 1: that going to go cross? Do you think it'll go
- 31:33Speaker 1: cross better? Yeah? You know why? Because she never knew
- 31:36Speaker 1: was his plan. Yeah, she never knew was his plan.
- 31:38Speaker 1: And I've been in this environment before, right, So you know,
- 31:43Speaker 1: after the engagement, you typically have a week just the
- 31:47Speaker 1: couple in the same place that you got engaged with him,
- 31:50Speaker 1: and most couples that I know from the show spend
- 31:55Speaker 1: that week breaking down all that's happened in the last
- 31:57Speaker 1: three months, because there's a lot of trauma and emotion
- 32:00Speaker 1: that exists, especially for the person you know chosen who
- 32:04Speaker 1: is a contestant, and you kind of open up the
- 32:07Speaker 1: door to say ask anything you want, anything you don't
- 32:09Speaker 1: want to know, don't ask me, you know, But if
- 32:12Speaker 1: if you want to know something, ask me and I'll
- 32:15Speaker 1: I'll try to make sense of it. I don't know
- 32:16Speaker 1: if I'll be able to. This thing was weird. I'm
- 32:19Speaker 1: just happy we're here now. I'm happy we're in this
- 32:21Speaker 1: environment where we exist together. But if you want to
- 32:24Speaker 1: know something, you're now my partner for life in a sense,
- 32:28Speaker 1: you would expect to at least at that point, and
- 32:30Speaker 1: so ask me, and I'll have to tell you. But
- 32:32Speaker 1: if you don't want to know it, don't ask it.
- 32:35Speaker 1: So you know what happened. I think is that he
- 32:39Speaker 1: was looking out for his own image, because if no,
- 32:43Speaker 1: he wasn't, nobody would have known that they were on
- 32:46Speaker 1: the that they had sex. Nobody had to know. Nobody
- 32:49Speaker 1: had to know, and I think that's good. A good
- 32:52Speaker 1: point here is nobody had to know, and there wouldn't
- 32:54Speaker 1: have necessarily been anything wrong with nobody knowing, especially when
- 32:58Speaker 1: it comes to something private and intimate, which is the
- 33:01Speaker 1: fantasy suite. I think that is a private, intimate moment.
- 33:06Speaker 1: And I also think at that point in time, if
- 33:08Speaker 1: anybody did need to know, that was definitely Gabby's decision
- 33:11Speaker 1: for people to know. It wasn't just Zach's that's not
- 33:15Speaker 1: just Zach's choice. Yea, And so Zach tells Katie. Katie's
- 33:21Speaker 1: reaction is like just amazingly real. You don't always know
- 33:27Speaker 1: if you're gonna get real moments on the show, but
- 33:29Speaker 1: her reaction is like how anybody would react in the
- 33:32Speaker 1: real world, especially at first where she's confused. M she's
- 33:36Speaker 1: thrown off beating so far. Yeah, I can't look at
- 33:39Speaker 1: you down, like there's distance, Like I know that feeling
- 33:44Speaker 1: where all of a sudden there's distance between you, like
- 33:46Speaker 1: you almost like I can't even look at this person
- 33:48Speaker 1: because it hurts so much you felt it for her. Yeah,
- 33:52Speaker 1: and she makes comments like we laughed about where she's like,
- 33:54Speaker 1: what did you want me to do? Give you a
- 33:55Speaker 1: high five, like saying, yeah, you did it, Like Zach,
- 33:59Speaker 1: I didn't need to know. This is what she's saying.
- 34:01Speaker 1: The whole time. She said she assumed it, like I
- 34:04Speaker 1: knew could happen. I don't need to confirm it, like yeah,
- 34:07Speaker 1: and she's said, now I have the image in my head. Yeah,
- 34:21Speaker 1: So Zach, here I think is in a spiral of
- 34:24Speaker 1: bad choices, um and off to the side here where
- 34:31Speaker 1: we're not really at this moment thinking too much about
- 34:33Speaker 1: is Gabby, who all of a sudden we start thinking
- 34:36Speaker 1: a lot about because we have a scene where Gabby
- 34:39Speaker 1: says something that really like broke my heart and it did.
- 34:43Speaker 1: Let Yeah, she says, I feel like I have the
- 34:45Speaker 1: scarlet A on my chest and she is, Yeah, And
- 34:50Speaker 1: I think people will support her because they can relate
- 34:53Speaker 1: and feel where she's at. I think people are not
- 34:56Speaker 1: gonna be mean to Gabby, I hope based on this.
- 35:01Speaker 1: But Gabby just all of a sudden, I think is
- 35:04Speaker 1: feeling a lot of emotions, and shame is now one
- 35:07Speaker 1: of them because she tells us that she has the
- 35:09Speaker 1: scarlet letter on her chest, which yea is a powerful
- 35:13Speaker 1: book if you ever read it. But it is a
- 35:17Speaker 1: moment where my heart breaks because this is a personal
- 35:21Speaker 1: moment for Gabby. She thought it was personal. She thought
- 35:23Speaker 1: this person cared about her so much that like this
- 35:26Speaker 1: was a moment that they could keep between the two
- 35:28Speaker 1: of them. And now I think his choice to tell
- 35:34Speaker 1: Katie is reassuring Gabby once again that maybe she is
- 35:37Speaker 1: second because he didn't care enough about her to keep
- 35:40Speaker 1: it private. Yeah, and he had to tell Katie. He
- 35:44Speaker 1: never goes and tells Ariel I mean, I know he's
- 35:47Speaker 1: he knows he's going to eliminate Ariel, but yeah, I
- 35:52Speaker 1: felt I just felt for Gabby in that whole situation
- 35:55Speaker 1: because I just think all the insecurities that she had
- 35:58Speaker 1: before their fantasies eat, it's just coming back up again.
- 36:02Speaker 1: I think she felt reassured after their night together and
- 36:05Speaker 1: felt confident, it felt good about what they shared and
- 36:09Speaker 1: just like through conversations or through being intimate and then
- 36:13Speaker 1: for it to be like announced to the world, announced
- 36:16Speaker 1: to Katie and yeah, she's like like why did he?
- 36:21Speaker 1: I think She's gonna go in her head being like
- 36:22Speaker 1: why did he have to tell her? Like is she it? Yeah?
- 36:26Speaker 1: She said, so why did she have to do? Why
- 36:28Speaker 1: did we have? Then? Why did now what? Like I
- 36:30Speaker 1: think she's just like now I'm second. I'm obviously second.
- 36:33Speaker 1: He had to tell her because he wouldn't be telling
- 36:36Speaker 1: her if it was me. At the end, I think
- 36:38Speaker 1: that's just gonna and she's just gonna break down now,
- 36:40Speaker 1: and I just I just feel for her because it's
- 36:42Speaker 1: just unfair and just I hope she goes down in
- 36:45Speaker 1: a blaze of glory, Like I hope she goes down
- 36:48Speaker 1: like this is ridiculous, like, you made this declaration, you know,
- 36:53Speaker 1: this is what happened between us. You said you had
- 36:55Speaker 1: to tell Katie. I think it's very obvious why he
- 36:58Speaker 1: had to tell Katie. I think it's very obvious that
- 36:59Speaker 1: the point to Gabby because I think the question that
- 37:02Speaker 1: she asks is why do you have to tell Katie?
- 37:04Speaker 1: You know? Yeah, and and and Zach is continuing to
- 37:07Speaker 1: reassure reinforce this. Well, if we're going to end up
- 37:10Speaker 1: engage at the end of this um, this person needs
- 37:13Speaker 1: to know what happened. And it's like, well, if we
- 37:16Speaker 1: end up gage at the end of this, I'm the
- 37:18Speaker 1: only one that needs to know what happened. Yeah, I'm like,
- 37:23Speaker 1: I'm leaving right there on that rose ceremony. I'm saying
- 37:26Speaker 1: I'm not accepting this UM. I know what's coming ahead,
- 37:29Speaker 1: and I'm gone. But wait, she says that. She says,
- 37:33Speaker 1: I don't even know if I want to accept this rose.
- 37:35Speaker 1: And now, if we're thinking about Blaze of Glory moments,
- 37:39Speaker 1: it would have been great if she did that in
- 37:41Speaker 1: that moment and just been like, I don't know if
- 37:43Speaker 1: I could accept this rose or just not. Yeah, because
- 37:48Speaker 1: I think she didn't have enough time to know how
- 37:50Speaker 1: she was going to feel in that moment up there
- 37:52Speaker 1: with Katie. I think if she knew how she was
- 37:54Speaker 1: going to feel in that line, you know, in that
- 37:58Speaker 1: scarlet letter moment, I think she may have done it.
- 38:00Speaker 1: I think she may have denied the rose. But now
- 38:03Speaker 1: I think she'll let it simmer a little bit longer
- 38:05Speaker 1: and realize it's the only way of doing it. We also, yeah,
- 38:09Speaker 1: I'm thinking about like previews, do we ever see her
- 38:13Speaker 1: like walking up to the podium. Probably not, Like I
- 38:16Speaker 1: really hope that she No, I really hope she breaks
- 38:19Speaker 1: up with him before he could break up with her.
- 38:21Speaker 1: I mean, I think, and so to kind of summarize
- 38:23Speaker 1: this whole episode, I think we all agree here and
- 38:27Speaker 1: tell me if we don't. Zach didn't need to tell Katie.
- 38:31Speaker 1: The only reason that he felt like he needed to
- 38:34Speaker 1: is because Katie was the one at the end and
- 38:37Speaker 1: he felt like she was his future fiance, and that
- 38:41Speaker 1: he feels like the future fiance needs to know what
- 38:45Speaker 1: happened in these fantasy suites. Katie is pretty clear that no,
- 38:48Speaker 1: she doesn't. And if you did give her that week
- 38:51Speaker 1: after the show's done and you open up the door
- 38:53Speaker 1: and said ask anything. I don't think she asks this.
- 38:56Speaker 1: I don't think she has any interest. I think she
- 38:58Speaker 1: again says I assumed, and the assumption was enough, and
- 39:02Speaker 1: the assumption was hard enough. But I don't need to
- 39:04Speaker 1: know that this happened. I have one more thing to add.
- 39:09Speaker 1: They don't show the morning after with Katie. Wasn't that weird?
- 39:15Speaker 1: It is weird. Yeah, they were like the person to
- 39:17Speaker 1: cut us out, We're gonna cut that out. Yeah that
- 39:20Speaker 1: we don't have any like comparison moment, And yeah, that's
- 39:25Speaker 1: a good point, Ashley. I wonder what the conversation looked
- 39:28Speaker 1: like between Katie and Zach in the fantasy suits, Like
- 39:30Speaker 1: once the doors close, because what happens is you're filmed
- 39:33Speaker 1: all day. You close that door and nobody's there. It's gone.
- 39:37Speaker 1: It's the first time and over, you know, two and
- 39:40Speaker 1: a half months that you haven't had a camera around
- 39:42Speaker 1: you or anybody else standing within five feet of you.
- 39:45Speaker 1: The fantasy suits are a very private, quiet moment, and
- 39:48Speaker 1: there's no glitz and glamor to it other than the
- 39:51Speaker 1: fact that the two of you are there. It's a
- 39:52Speaker 1: little bit weird at first. You're like a little weird
- 39:55Speaker 1: because there's also still like no music, no TV. So
- 39:57Speaker 1: it's like pure silence unless you guys are talking looking
- 40:00Speaker 1: to each other. So I wonder once that got closed,
- 40:03Speaker 1: if Katie, I'm hoping Katie like I was like, so
- 40:06Speaker 1: what are we gonna do? Like, let's talk through now
- 40:10Speaker 1: where your decision lies, Zach, Like you made this declaration
- 40:13Speaker 1: I guess just to Aeriel because you never really made
- 40:15Speaker 1: it to me, and then you've messed it up with
- 40:18Speaker 1: Gabby like, Zach, like where you at and all of this.
- 40:22Speaker 1: I think that conversation probably was very awkward, and I
- 40:25Speaker 1: hope she leaned in a bit too, Zach. The cameras
- 40:28Speaker 1: are gone, like wake up a little bit, like stop
- 40:32Speaker 1: doing whatever your cycle of like telling what you're saying,
- 40:37Speaker 1: telling the truth, Like stop this cycle of telling the
- 40:39Speaker 1: truth right now and just be real to each individual relationship.
- 40:43Speaker 1: I don't know, it'd be a very awkward moment. I
- 40:46Speaker 1: feel like once that door closed, especially for Zach, I
- 40:49Speaker 1: bet Zach stuck his tail between his legs like I'm sorry,
- 40:51Speaker 1: I messed up. Yeah, which is why I was excited
- 40:54Speaker 1: to see what the vibe was the morning after, because
- 40:56Speaker 1: we all know that those vibes are very crucial think
- 40:59Speaker 1: about Like Culton and Tatia, everybody knew something was off right, Yeah, yeah,
- 41:06Speaker 1: pretty obvious. So now we know, yeah we know? Well,
- 41:13Speaker 1: uh to to flash back then h to to all
- 41:18Speaker 1: of this, Katie turns and says, no, I want to
- 41:22Speaker 1: continue this thing. Um. After some time away from Zach,
- 41:27Speaker 1: she's obviously very interested in Zach. I wonder what that
- 41:32Speaker 1: process was like for her. We didn't get to see
- 41:35Speaker 1: a lot of the kind of moments away. I really
- 41:39Speaker 1: thought that she wasn't going to return. And uh, and
- 41:43Speaker 1: I don't think Zach ever believed she wasn't going to return,
- 41:46Speaker 1: because when she walks up and they have their overnight
- 41:48Speaker 1: date or their dinner portion, he acts very calm and collected, like,
- 41:52Speaker 1: let's go walk inside, let's have a great night. Um.
- 41:57Speaker 1: I don't think he ever imagined that she wouldn't come back.
- 41:59Speaker 1: And I want or why because I really didn't think
- 42:01Speaker 1: she was going to come back. Maybe because she just
- 42:06Speaker 1: despite being really honest and raw and we loved it
- 42:10Speaker 1: when he told her. She didn't like freak out, she
- 42:14Speaker 1: didn't like run away. She did seem like she wanted
- 42:17Speaker 1: to have like the maturity and collectiveness to kind of
- 42:21Speaker 1: think through it. I gotta give Katie a lot of
- 42:25Speaker 1: credit here in this as well, because even standing with
- 42:28Speaker 1: Gabby at the end after the rose ceremony, when Zach
- 42:33Speaker 1: walks aerial out, there's there's no like we've seen hard
- 42:38Speaker 1: words or like people have confrontation in those moments, and
- 42:41Speaker 1: she didn't you know, I know she probably imagined it
- 42:45Speaker 1: was hard for Gabby as well. Katie did keep a
- 42:49Speaker 1: calm about her. She spoke a lot of like really
- 42:51Speaker 1: wise things to Zach, even saying, you know, I assumed it.
- 42:55Speaker 1: I didn't need to know this. Would you want me
- 42:56Speaker 1: to do? Give you a high five? Like go get him, buddy,
- 43:00Speaker 1: Katie hendered yourself really well. We've always been a Katie
- 43:03Speaker 1: fan here. So the last telling point Aero does go home,
- 43:09Speaker 1: Gabby and Katie are standing with Zach at the podium
- 43:13Speaker 1: at the end, and Gabby's right Zach is not making
- 43:16Speaker 1: eye contact with her. In fact, I know it was
- 43:19Speaker 1: awkward to watch. Whoa it was so crazy again, leave
- 43:24Speaker 1: the drop the rose. I haven't dropped the mic moment,
- 43:27Speaker 1: but I dropped the rose moment and leave it was
- 43:31Speaker 1: so awkward. We know we know that this is one
- 43:34Speaker 1: of his telltale signs when he's not making eye contact
- 43:37Speaker 1: with you, he's done with you. Mcknn. I know you
- 43:41Speaker 1: haven't watched the whole season. This is what he does.
- 43:44Speaker 1: I've seen like some like memes a little here, like
- 43:47Speaker 1: his face when you know he's not interested, he's like
- 43:50Speaker 1: he pulls away kind of and then he's like like
- 43:53Speaker 1: lighting up a bit. But I think, well, Gabby like
- 43:57Speaker 1: she could obviously sense that, like he was like looking
- 43:59Speaker 1: at Katie. But I also didn't Katie just say to
- 44:02Speaker 1: her like I knew it was you, m right. So
- 44:05Speaker 1: I think she's also just like like Katie said, okay,
- 44:09Speaker 1: so I can't quite make that act I knew it
- 44:12Speaker 1: was you. Yeah, she was like I think she was
- 44:13Speaker 1: like closing her mouth like kind of just whispering it
- 44:16Speaker 1: to her, like and what since like a mean sense
- 44:19Speaker 1: or just like I knew it was you that would
- 44:21Speaker 1: be here. No, I think that like she said, like
- 44:24Speaker 1: I felt it as like I knew you guys had
- 44:27Speaker 1: sex or something. Yeah, like something I thought in that moment,
- 44:32Speaker 1: even though I didn't quite get what she said, Oh,
- 44:34Speaker 1: I was interpreting it as like I knew that you
- 44:37Speaker 1: were the one that he would have he slapped away
- 44:39Speaker 1: like yeah, that's why I thought, yeah, because they're friends.
- 44:43Speaker 1: I mean, I don't think I didn't get that. Like
- 44:45Speaker 1: Katie was like quietly digging at Gabby there being like no,
- 44:47Speaker 1: I know, I don't know. It was like I think
- 44:50Speaker 1: it was just like in that moment they might have
- 44:52Speaker 1: just forgotten first hot second that they were dating the
- 44:55Speaker 1: same guy. I think she was just like I know
- 44:57Speaker 1: he was like. I think it was like a like
- 44:58Speaker 1: a jokingly friendly like best friend thing, being like I
- 45:02Speaker 1: knew it was you, and then I think, you know,
- 45:05Speaker 1: Gabby's like, I mean he did tell me he was
- 45:07Speaker 1: going to go tell someone, but I didn't think like
- 45:09Speaker 1: this confirms that he did tell everyone, like tell someone
- 45:12Speaker 1: that we have sex and we didn't talk about the Yeah,
- 45:15Speaker 1: the conversation that he went back to Gabby and was like, hey,
- 45:19Speaker 1: just letting you know, I'm gonna tell and then she
- 45:22Speaker 1: was like, uh, she had like the biggest eck. I
- 45:25Speaker 1: felt like she was kind. He was like yeah, okay,
- 45:28Speaker 1: like why like so what I seeing you again? But
- 45:33Speaker 1: now you're gonna go like and he kept saying like
- 45:36Speaker 1: it was really nice, like it was really good, Like
- 45:38Speaker 1: I felt like he kept saying like the night. It
- 45:40Speaker 1: was great night, Like this has nothing to do with you.
- 45:43Speaker 1: I just need to tell everyone, like, yeah, that that
- 45:45Speaker 1: was the moment where it was the selfish moment. Yeah,
- 45:47Speaker 1: so yeah, I have to read myself a guilt on that. Obviously,
- 45:50Speaker 1: the three of us are agreeing that he didn't need
- 45:51Speaker 1: to tell that it was a very weird decision. M mckinnas.
- 45:56Speaker 1: Something we try to do here is at least explain
- 46:00Speaker 1: the other side. And I don't know if there'll be
- 46:02Speaker 1: people in support of what Zach did here and at
- 46:06Speaker 1: least in support of what his intentions were here. Can
- 46:11Speaker 1: any of us maybe explain, like from Zach's perspective that
- 46:17Speaker 1: he was right in telling you, Okay, at the beginning
- 46:19Speaker 1: of the episode, I did say that, like I understand him,
- 46:24Speaker 1: like some people on Katie's side would want to know
- 46:27Speaker 1: that it happened and some wouldn't. Yeah, and that's from
- 46:29Speaker 1: the Katie perspective. As far as the correctness of him
- 46:33Speaker 1: doing so, that is not correct correct at least in
- 46:37Speaker 1: that moment, you know, like if they wanted, if she
- 46:40Speaker 1: wanted to know once they were alone or whatever, then okay,
- 46:45Speaker 1: but that's like for her to inquire about. Yeah, I
- 46:50Speaker 1: think even though that also it's yeah, yeah, such a
- 46:53Speaker 1: weird situation. I think, like kind of what you said, Ben,
- 46:57Speaker 1: like at the end, when he chooses who he wants
- 46:59Speaker 1: to be with, I think that could have been a
- 47:01Speaker 1: moment where he was open and told her like you
- 47:05Speaker 1: weren't the only person I've been intimate with here, or
- 47:08Speaker 1: like if she didn't want to know, if she didn't
- 47:10Speaker 1: want to know, And I just think I just in
- 47:13Speaker 1: the whole, I just I can't stop feeling for Gabby
- 47:16Speaker 1: in this, Like, I just think I think he's just
- 47:19Speaker 1: forgetting that like two people shared a very intimate night
- 47:22Speaker 1: and that like I don't know, like I just like
- 47:28Speaker 1: I can feel that he just wanted to get it
- 47:30Speaker 1: off his chest. But I think he just forgot that
- 47:33Speaker 1: there are two people that also, like you know, there's
- 47:36Speaker 1: another person that went through that and like that maybe
- 47:38Speaker 1: maybe ask her like did thank you on everyone? That
- 47:42Speaker 1: goes back to our conversation before. It's just like it
- 47:44Speaker 1: was all about like his decision making. Yeah, he had
- 47:47Speaker 1: to get off his chest a private thing. You know,
- 47:50Speaker 1: we've on this show, we've had seasons that are very
- 47:52Speaker 1: sex positive. We've had seasons I can't remember a season that,
- 47:56Speaker 1: you know, we have characters that are not very sex positive,
- 48:01Speaker 1: you know, to their own, you know default, probably because
- 48:04Speaker 1: they don't exactly know what that means. It doesn't mean
- 48:05Speaker 1: you have to go out and have a bunch of sex.
- 48:07Speaker 1: It just means that, like, it's a topic, you know,
- 48:09Speaker 1: that's powerful worth discussing, and it's an individual dance between
- 48:14Speaker 1: you know, couples or people in general. And so we've
- 48:18Speaker 1: we've had these conversations kind of come in and out
- 48:21Speaker 1: for years and I can't necessarily describe this as being
- 48:27Speaker 1: sex positive or not. But what I do know is
- 48:31Speaker 1: that sex is a very powerful thing that is between
- 48:34Speaker 1: two people, and it is very intimate. And I do
- 48:38Speaker 1: think I do think there's two points that I one,
- 48:41Speaker 1: I'm is more of like a I'm confused by two.
- 48:43Speaker 1: The second is I do think Zach messed up and
- 48:46Speaker 1: did not allow Gabby to have a voice and how
- 48:48Speaker 1: this was explained and how this was communicated, and how
- 48:51Speaker 1: this was done in front of national television and her
- 48:54Speaker 1: friends and other people. I think that was unfair to
- 48:58Speaker 1: Gabby and I would stand on that to anybody said, no,
- 49:01Speaker 1: Zach was trying to do the right thing. Sure, I
- 49:04Speaker 1: don't think he was like trying to do the wrong thing.
- 49:06Speaker 1: I just think that he wasn't considering somebody else's feelings
- 49:10Speaker 1: and emotions in this The second is from Zach's perspective
- 49:17Speaker 1: for a guy that didn't want to have sex at
- 49:20Speaker 1: the beginning of this episode, like, don't talk about it,
- 49:22Speaker 1: like now we all know, Like just keep it quiet.
- 49:25Speaker 1: Like when I was on this show, like I felt
- 49:29Speaker 1: weird at times making out with somebody. It's weird right there.
- 49:32Speaker 1: These are typically very intimate, quiet moments that are isolated
- 49:36Speaker 1: from the public. Guess what, my hands in the air
- 49:39Speaker 1: because I have something crucial to say. Go. Shan Low
- 49:43Speaker 1: never said that he was a born again virgin on
- 49:45Speaker 1: the show, and I know that I can't speak because
- 49:47Speaker 1: I definitely was like, hey, guess when I'm a first
- 49:48Speaker 1: roar in Vergion, right, But like he was a born
- 49:50Speaker 1: again virgin, his plan in his head was to not
- 49:54Speaker 1: have sex with any of those fantasies to contestants. And
- 49:57Speaker 1: guess what. It was never mentioned because he kept it private.
- 50:01Speaker 1: And that's what. Yeah, maybe Sean did Sean tell him that, Sean,
- 50:07Speaker 1: where are you? Yeah? You gotta give him every detail
- 50:10Speaker 1: and look at how it worked out for Sean right,
- 50:13Speaker 1: he had a flawless experience all the way through, And
- 50:17Speaker 1: it wasn't until like after the fact, like six months
- 50:19Speaker 1: later you saw magazine cover as being like Sean Virgin, Yeah,
- 50:25Speaker 1: like waiting till their wedding night. You'd never heard of
- 50:28Speaker 1: it until way after a fact. I'm just shocked at
- 50:32Speaker 1: some point, Zach, maybe he z Act's gotten so comfortable
- 50:34Speaker 1: in front of the cameras where he's like, yeah, I'm
- 50:35Speaker 1: just gonna talk about these things and I don't really
- 50:38Speaker 1: care who watches or who has an opinion on it's
- 50:40Speaker 1: It's weird to me. I mean, it's just different because
- 50:43Speaker 1: I was, like I always felt very like more protective
- 50:48Speaker 1: or like not ashamed. I don't want to like embarrassed
- 50:50Speaker 1: to talk about it, to have to like explain it,
- 50:53Speaker 1: or to even like be like physical with somebody in
- 50:56Speaker 1: front of a camera. Knowing that my grandma was going
- 50:58Speaker 1: to be watching beside me one day, like that always
- 51:01Speaker 1: felt weird to me. I was thinking about Gabby's family
- 51:04Speaker 1: last night at her dad, her sweet dad is literally
- 51:08Speaker 1: having to hear we had sex, which immediately puts in
- 51:12Speaker 1: your head the image of your child having sex yeah. Yeah,
- 51:16Speaker 1: it's like it's so much different, you know, you know
- 51:19Speaker 1: it could happen. Yeah, yeah, you assume like they get
- 51:23Speaker 1: married like cool. Yes, yeah, but you don't want to
- 51:26Speaker 1: picture it. No, And when you say it as a fact,
- 51:29Speaker 1: you picture it. But if it's as Sam, you don't necessarily. Yeah.
- 51:32Speaker 1: It's kind of like saying, hey, don't think about elephants.
- 51:34Speaker 1: All of a sudden, We're all thinking about elephants, So
- 51:39Speaker 1: I do. I think I would stay in firm on
- 51:41Speaker 1: this episode. Again, it was an intriguing episode. I felt
- 51:44Speaker 1: like I was watching and wanting to know what happened
- 51:47Speaker 1: around every turn and every people's emotions, and that's part
- 51:50Speaker 1: of the show. But I feel for Gabby. I hope
- 51:54Speaker 1: Gabby's getting the support that she deserves and needs right now.
- 51:59Speaker 1: I think Zach messed up big time and did not
- 52:03Speaker 1: at all take into account that there's two people involved
- 52:06Speaker 1: here and that Gabby's Gabby would ultimately be affected by this.
- 52:11Speaker 1: Because Zach and whoever he ends up with at the end,
- 52:13Speaker 1: which we're gonna assume as Katie, are going to run
- 52:15Speaker 1: off into the sunset, He's gonna get weird interviews. I
- 52:18Speaker 1: know that where people are gonna ask about this now,
- 52:20Speaker 1: and that's very awkward, and she's gonna be sitting beside
- 52:23Speaker 1: him while it's happening. But Gabby's also going to be
- 52:28Speaker 1: asked about it, and she's gonna have to relive this
- 52:30Speaker 1: and she's gonna have to live through this and that's
- 52:33Speaker 1: not fair to her. And it didn't need to happen
- 52:35Speaker 1: at least in my opinion, And some people might disagree.
- 52:38Speaker 1: I would love to hear your thoughts. I'd love to
- 52:39Speaker 1: hear why you disagree. But it just didn't need happen. Okay,
- 52:54Speaker 1: we have Bachelor headlines to break down, so let's jump
- 52:57Speaker 1: into it right now. It's Bachelor headlines. I'll throw it
- 53:00Speaker 1: back and forth between the two of you. Um here,
- 53:03Speaker 1: we're gonna start with Ashley. Bachelor and Paradise Canada revealed
- 53:06Speaker 1: its season two casts and so many of them are
- 53:09Speaker 1: from Ontario. Actually, McKenna, this is one. Yeah. I was
- 53:16Speaker 1: watching because I watched The Bachelor on CITYTV, so I
- 53:19Speaker 1: was I got to see all them introducing it through
- 53:21Speaker 1: the commercial breaks of every person that's on it. Um, yeah,
- 53:27Speaker 1: looks it looks really, it looks good and exciting. There. Um,
- 53:33Speaker 1: I know Chelsea's on it from Chelsea as in like
- 53:36Speaker 1: the Chelsea from America. Yeah, she's on it from Matt season. Um,
- 53:42Speaker 1: Connor's on it. Connor Soley, No Connor, the other Connor
- 53:47Speaker 1: con Um who was the one on Katie season that
- 53:51Speaker 1: was with the cat Connor Cat Connor from Nashville. Um
- 54:00Speaker 1: that there were some other people on it from I
- 54:03Speaker 1: think just didn't like they kind of went home pretty early.
- 54:06Speaker 1: So I don't really know exactly who they are, but
- 54:09Speaker 1: they are. There are a couple from like I think
- 54:10Speaker 1: Katie season, and I feel like I should like pull
- 54:14Speaker 1: it up. But there wasn't a lot of like big
- 54:19Speaker 1: names like from like older like it was more so
- 54:22Speaker 1: like recent. Okay, Um, I swear I saw a preview
- 54:27Speaker 1: with Demi for some reason that was like I'm back.
- 54:31Speaker 1: M Well, wait, question, do they have like a full
- 54:34Speaker 1: blown Bachelor and Bachelorette in Canada right now? Because I
- 54:37Speaker 1: know it's like on and on. No, so like years
- 54:39Speaker 1: ago they did. Yeah, I don't really do that. Well, um,
- 54:44Speaker 1: but but they're good yea. Um, but they had a
- 54:47Speaker 1: season last year and so what they do is they
- 54:50Speaker 1: have some like bachel Nation fan they put in the mix,
- 54:54Speaker 1: and then they have some people from season one that
- 54:57Speaker 1: was last year that were I think fans and then
- 55:00Speaker 1: and are now back because they were on the first season.
- 55:03Speaker 1: And they throw in some like a lamb that we're
- 55:05Speaker 1: on the American one. Okay, so it's a hodgepodge. Yeah,
- 55:09Speaker 1: it's kind of like a little mixture up there. But yeah,
- 55:14Speaker 1: well it's a beautiful cast. I'm looking through it. Um yeah,
- 55:18Speaker 1: this is uh, there's just a lot of jack dudes
- 55:21Speaker 1: and a lot of beautiful women. Um, so I'm sure
- 55:23Speaker 1: the beach is going to be incredible. Next headline, it's
- 55:26Speaker 1: hosted by Charlene Yeah, Lee and Kevin's Lavart and er Believe. Yeah, yeah,
- 55:32Speaker 1: that's really cool. I can't what a gig man. I
- 55:35Speaker 1: know she's looking great up there too. She's doing awesome.
- 55:40Speaker 1: Next headline isn't one that we necessarily need to break down,
- 55:42Speaker 1: but it's something cool that was posting on Instagram. Clear
- 55:45Speaker 1: Crawley shares matching tattoos with husband Ryan Dawkins, mom plus dad. Now,
- 55:53Speaker 1: some and you two would know this, especially you Actually
- 55:56Speaker 1: some were going, oh, this is crazy, let's celebrate that
- 56:00Speaker 1: Clear is pregnant. But I don't think that's what this means. No,
- 56:07Speaker 1: does she even say what she thinks it means? Well,
- 56:10Speaker 1: I believe from my research that she is now a stepmom.
- 56:15Speaker 1: That Ryan, Yeah, is that what is referring to? I
- 56:18Speaker 1: know she's a stepmom? You think that's what? Do the
- 56:21Speaker 1: tattoos say? Mom plus mom and dad? And then Ryan
- 56:28Speaker 1: commented under Claire's post and said Claire is the best
- 56:31Speaker 1: bonus mom ever, So stepmomm Huh, I think there's more
- 56:38Speaker 1: to this, There's there's gotta be more to this, right Yeah,
- 56:42Speaker 1: I don't think so. I think I mean, there's not
- 56:44Speaker 1: more to the story right now, but I feel like
- 56:46Speaker 1: we will find out more soon. Yeah. Yeah, within the
- 56:49Speaker 1: next five years. I bet. I bet these tattoos continue.
- 56:53Speaker 1: Becca Tilly reveals meaningful surprise from girlfriend Hailey, grateful to
- 56:59Speaker 1: experience a love like this, Ashley, this is yours breakdown.
- 57:04Speaker 1: It was a soorrible Okay. So Becca has you know,
- 57:07Speaker 1: been raised very Christian. She went to church all the time,
- 57:11Speaker 1: She went to a Christian school, Sunday School, all the
- 57:13Speaker 1: stuff growing up. And then she said that ever since
- 57:15Speaker 1: moving to la she hasn't really found a church to
- 57:18Speaker 1: like really call her own, to feel very comfortable in
- 57:22Speaker 1: and to go regularly and just feel part of the community.
- 57:26Speaker 1: And she did mention to Hailey this you know, this
- 57:30Speaker 1: issue that she wanted to find a place and there
- 57:32Speaker 1: was one church in particular that I think she was
- 57:34Speaker 1: interested in trying out. And one Sunday morning, Haley said,
- 57:40Speaker 1: I want to take you somewhere. Make sure you're free
- 57:43Speaker 1: Sunday morning. So to surprise, she gets her in the
- 57:46Speaker 1: car that they're driving and they pull up to the
- 57:49Speaker 1: parking lot of this church and they go in holding hands,
- 57:51Speaker 1: and she just said it was the sweetest thing. She goes,
- 57:54Speaker 1: I thought that we were going somewhere special for breakfast,
- 57:57Speaker 1: and then we ended up at a church, and Haley
- 58:00Speaker 1: isn't like particularly religious, but she knew it meant a
- 58:04Speaker 1: lot to Becca, and she just said it's one of
- 58:07Speaker 1: the most special moments of her life and one in
- 58:09Speaker 1: which she says that she's never felt so loved. It's. Uh.
- 58:14Speaker 1: Becca is one of the if not the most incredible
- 58:18Speaker 1: people I've ever met. I love Becca a lot, and
- 58:21Speaker 1: he said, not the most, which means that you're you're
- 58:25Speaker 1: putting her above your wife. No, she's not above my wife,
- 58:28Speaker 1: but she's been incredible to my wife. You know, Jessica
- 58:32Speaker 1: walked into the Bachelor world, and didn't you know, Jessica
- 58:36Speaker 1: is a very quiet, like introverted person and Becca till
- 58:40Speaker 1: he kind of like wrapped her around like Becca's arms
- 58:44Speaker 1: and said, hey, like I got you, and has been
- 58:46Speaker 1: incredible from then on out. And so anytime I hear
- 58:51Speaker 1: a story of Becca being loved on and happy makes
- 58:56Speaker 1: me happy. Yeah, it's so so sweet sweet. Well, mckinneth,
- 59:00Speaker 1: thanks for joining us today. That's all we have. We
- 59:04Speaker 1: have a finale episode next week. Now I'm actually gonna
- 59:07Speaker 1: be out. I'm gonna be on the Venezuelan Colombian border
- 59:12Speaker 1: which is reviewing some like healthcare systems that are happening
- 59:16Speaker 1: for the refugee crisis. So I'm out. I'm gone. Ashley
- 59:20Speaker 1: is gonna take it over all weeks. Yeah, all weeks
- 59:22Speaker 1: for you do important global things, you know. Yeah, Well,
- 59:25Speaker 1: Ashley is going to have an amazing co host. They're
- 59:27Speaker 1: gonna break down the finale episode. So my vote, if
- 59:31Speaker 1: Katie is not the one chosen at the end, I
- 59:34Speaker 1: will call in from Columbia and freak out because I
- 59:37Speaker 1: don't know what's happening anymore. But mckinneth, thanks for joining us.
