- 0:00Speaker 1: He's always a headline. I had Mark Simmo seven to
- 0:04Speaker 1: ten wo R. So the negotiations will continue today. They'll
- 0:12Speaker 1: resume today. Actually it's Iran as a negotiating team there
- 0:16Speaker 1: meeting with our negotiators Witkoff, Jared Kushner and Vice President
- 0:21Speaker 1: Vance the negotiations. Now here's what Iran strategy is. Well,
- 0:25Speaker 1: you see, our problem is we make great negotiating progress
- 0:33Speaker 1: with the negotiators and what we're negotiating with is the
- 0:37Speaker 1: political leadership of Iran, and we make progress there. But
- 0:42Speaker 1: there are two factions now in Iran, the hardline Republican Guard.
- 0:47Speaker 1: This is the not the regular army, but this is
- 0:49Speaker 1: the crazy, extreme, vicious militant army, the Republican Guard. But
- 0:53Speaker 1: apparently they're in control of the weapons right now. So
- 0:57Speaker 1: while the political leadership might want to settle this with negotiation,
- 1:01Speaker 1: the hardliners with the weapons aren't going along with it.
- 1:05Speaker 1: So you got these two factions. Now, Iran strategy is
- 1:09Speaker 1: they believe we have the same problem here in the US.
- 1:12Speaker 1: We have the political leadership, the Trump administration, but we
- 1:16Speaker 1: have a whole other side here in America, and that's
- 1:18Speaker 1: the opposition, the crazy left, who's basically on Iran's side
- 1:23Speaker 1: on most of this, and they think that they can
- 1:26Speaker 1: Something happened in Vietnam. The enemy thought they could just
- 1:29Speaker 1: get that anti war sentiment to go way way up,
- 1:33Speaker 1: and it would, you know, counter the administration. So they're
- 1:36Speaker 1: hoping on that. They're counting on that crazy Chris Murphy,
- 1:41Speaker 1: the Senator from Connecticut, and you know Tom Friedman, the
- 1:45Speaker 1: New York Times writer last week who said, you know,
- 1:48Speaker 1: he doesn't want to see Iran lose. He wants to
- 1:51Speaker 1: see Iran win so it'll make Trump look bad. That's
- 1:54Speaker 1: basically what he said. And it was revealed that a
- 1:57Speaker 1: bunch of Iranian little boats got through the blockade, and
- 2:02Speaker 1: the awful senator from Connecticut, Chris Murphy tweeted, awesome when
- 2:07Speaker 1: somebody posted the information about Iran succeeding and beating us
- 2:11Speaker 1: at the blockade, he tweeted, awesome. You're not supposed to
- 2:16Speaker 1: root for the terrorists. You're not supposed to root for
- 2:19Speaker 1: the enemy. It's caused a big stink. In fact, it's
- 2:24Speaker 1: forced him to even put out an explanation. He's saying
- 2:29Speaker 1: the awesome post was misinterpreted, it was sarcastic, it was something.
- 2:33Speaker 1: It was but that's what Iran's doing, trying to play
- 2:36Speaker 1: up that they're taking comfort, great comfort and encouragement from
- 2:41Speaker 1: the Democrats and the left, who they believe are on
- 2:44Speaker 1: their side. You ever hear anything that crazy, h and
- 2:48Speaker 1: you know you're gonna hear all the Democrats tell you
- 2:50Speaker 1: how we're losing. We don't know what we're doing. We're
- 2:52Speaker 1: totally ineffective. This has been the most incredible war we've
- 2:58Speaker 1: ever fought. It's the most planned war history. We've had
- 3:00Speaker 1: forty years of working on this plan, and look how
- 3:04Speaker 1: incredible it's been. What war did you ever see where
- 3:06Speaker 1: there's no casualties and we had a couple pilots. I mean,
- 3:11Speaker 1: just look at this as an example. Besides taking out
- 3:14Speaker 1: the entire leadership of Iran Day one, all forty one
- 3:18Speaker 1: top leaders, but the one time we had a plane
- 3:21Speaker 1: shot down and two pilots shot down and they were
- 3:25Speaker 1: stranded in the middle of Iran. What can you do
- 3:27Speaker 1: about that? Wow? Look at this. We send in hundreds
- 3:31Speaker 1: of people and planes, boots on the ground, they build
- 3:33Speaker 1: and they construct a temporary air base that we only
- 3:37Speaker 1: need for about twenty four hours. They build an air
- 3:40Speaker 1: base on the ground in Iran, We have a couple
- 3:43Speaker 1: hundred planes surround that air base. We create a two
- 3:46Speaker 1: mile perimeter around it and we shoot anything that comes
- 3:49Speaker 1: near there, and that gives that airbase a full day
- 3:52Speaker 1: to operate, send out planes, find the pilots to extract them.
- 3:56Speaker 1: It was an amazing success. Everything here. Oh, hey, Trump
- 4:02Speaker 1: does this interview. He agreed to go on CNBC this
- 4:05Speaker 1: morning with Joe Kernan. And you know, CNBC is like
- 4:08Speaker 1: a left wing, really slanted place, except except for Joe
- 4:12Speaker 1: Kernan and except for maybe a couple of thiss but
- 4:15Speaker 1: otherwise very slanted, very anti Trump. But he goes on
- 4:18Speaker 1: there and the agreed he'll do twenty minutes. And they're
- 4:24Speaker 1: asking a million questions and at one point he said,
- 4:26Speaker 1: you know what I'll do. I'll stay as long as
- 4:28Speaker 1: you want. Forget what this. I know. My staff says,
- 4:30Speaker 1: I got twenty minutes, I'll stay as long as and
- 4:32Speaker 1: he answered a million questions. So what uh? What is
- 4:36Speaker 1: the left going crazy? You know, it's always something they
- 4:38Speaker 1: go crazy over. So, oh, this is the one that's
- 4:42Speaker 1: going crazy over. He started talking about Vietnam and he
- 4:44Speaker 1: it's here's the headline media height. This is the big
- 4:47Speaker 1: left wing site, Trump blurts out stunning claim about Vietnam,
- 4:51Speaker 1: which he avoided serving. In what was the stunning claim?
- 4:55Speaker 1: He said, you know, everything that was wrong with the
- 4:58Speaker 1: Vietnam War. He said, I would have won that thing.
- 5:00Speaker 1: I would have won that. Well, that's not a stunning claim.
- 5:03Speaker 1: That's Trump. You know, he loves to brag. He's always boasting.
- 5:06Speaker 1: That's the salesman in him. You brag about everything. But
- 5:09Speaker 1: then they really go after him. This is the other
- 5:11Speaker 1: left wing thing. He's a draft dodger. He avoided the war,
- 5:15Speaker 1: he didn't serve. Well, that's every president for the last
- 5:19Speaker 1: few decades, every president. That's George W. Bush, that's Bill Clinton,
- 5:24Speaker 1: that's Joe Biden. You know the what happened, and they
- 5:27Speaker 1: go through the whole thing. He claimed he had bone spurs.
- 5:30Speaker 1: Even doctors have admitted he didn't have bone spirit. Well,
- 5:33Speaker 1: first of all, you'd never mentioned this with Joe Biden.
- 5:35Speaker 1: Nobody got more student deferments than Joe Biden. He got
- 5:39Speaker 1: like seven student deferments, and he claimed he had asthma.
- 5:43Speaker 1: He got out of Vietnam by claiming he had asthma.
- 5:46Speaker 1: You know, the guy wrote a three hundred page biography
- 5:49Speaker 1: like seventeen chapters on his childhood. There's no mention of
- 5:52Speaker 1: any asthma in there, but he claimed that it got
- 5:55Speaker 1: him out of the war. Bill Clinton got out of it.
- 5:57Speaker 1: It's just they all avoided the draft, all of them.
- 6:01Speaker 1: So it's a silly claim. Hey all, you guys all
- 6:04Speaker 1: love Dick Cheney. Now, all the left the media, you
- 6:06Speaker 1: loved Dick Cheney. Remember he was a draft dodger according
- 6:09Speaker 1: to you. You kept calling him a draft dodger. More those
- 6:12Speaker 1: student deferments. So if that's all they got to attack
- 6:16Speaker 1: about the CNBC interview, well consider it a great success. Uh.
- 6:22Speaker 1: Stock market did back off a little, very slight. It's
- 6:25Speaker 1: not reading really a drop. It's down like fifty points.
- 6:27Speaker 1: That's after being up like a thousand points in the
- 6:29Speaker 1: last few days. So that's really nothing. Now what is it?
- 6:33Speaker 1: What the hell is Obama up to? What is this
- 6:36Speaker 1: Obama up to? Well, you know he had that big
- 6:38Speaker 1: Netflix deal. Obama leaves office makes himself five six, seven
- 6:43Speaker 1: hundred million. Some people think he's close to being a
- 6:46Speaker 1: billionaire now he and Michelle they got all these deals
- 6:50Speaker 1: and companies overpay him like crazy, like Netflix. You know,
- 6:53Speaker 1: we'll give you one hundred million to produce shows for US.
- 6:57Speaker 1: There's nobody on earth that knows less about how to
- 6:59Speaker 1: produce television or movies. Then Barack and Michelle Obama, they
- 7:02Speaker 1: know absolutely nothing about this, have zero experience, but here's
- 7:07Speaker 1: one hundred million to do. It makes no sense, but
- 7:11Speaker 1: you're buying them basically. And then Michelle Obama, who can't write,
- 7:15Speaker 1: gets a book deal, and you know that kind of
- 7:17Speaker 1: book deal's usually ten twelve, fifteen, maybe it's twenty million.
- 7:21Speaker 1: Here we'll give you a forty million for a book.
- 7:22Speaker 1: It's a way of buying them. And then you got
- 7:25Speaker 1: Barack and Michelle Obama for whatever you need. You need
- 7:27Speaker 1: them to come talk to your investors, You need them
- 7:29Speaker 1: to show up at your stuff. You need them to
- 7:31Speaker 1: make some phone calls to DC and lobby for you.
- 7:34Speaker 1: They'll you know, they got a lot of clout with
- 7:36Speaker 1: those Democrats in Congress. That's what you're paying for. Well,
- 7:41Speaker 1: I guess they're all done now with Netflix doesn't need
- 7:43Speaker 1: them anymore, so they've basically canceled the whole deal. They're
- 7:47Speaker 1: out at Netflix, but they don't want to give up
- 7:50Speaker 1: on that. They've announced they're going independent. They're big production
- 7:55Speaker 1: company how's it called Higher Ground? The President and first
- 8:01Speaker 1: Lady founded Higher Ground in twenty eighteen, producing movie and
- 8:06Speaker 1: TV content exclusively for Netflix, but they're now going independent.
- 8:12Speaker 1: The company has begun setting up projects. They hope to
- 8:14Speaker 1: do projects at HBO, Apple and other studios. Now this
- 8:18Speaker 1: production company, higher Ground. When was the last time you're
- 8:21Speaker 1: watching a show or you see a movie and at
- 8:23Speaker 1: the end it says higher Ground Production. Again, they know
- 8:27Speaker 1: nothing about producing anything, but they want to sell their clout,
- 8:35Speaker 1: their names. So I think that's why Obama is now
- 8:38Speaker 1: running around trying to get himself more clout. You know,
- 8:41Speaker 1: he's got a lot of friends in DC, but I
- 8:45Speaker 1: know that Mom Donnie has for the last eight months,
- 8:48Speaker 1: all through the campaign, the Mam Donnie kept calling the
- 8:51Speaker 1: Obama people trying to get Obama to come and help
- 8:53Speaker 1: them endorse some campaign, and Obama wanted nothing to do
- 8:56Speaker 1: with them. And now, as you see this past weekend,
- 8:59Speaker 1: Obama runs to New York to appear with Mom Donnie.
- 9:03Speaker 1: So I think he's trying to make himself have a
- 9:06Speaker 1: little more clout everywhere you need something done. In New
- 9:09Speaker 1: York City, he's now close to the mayor. He's just
- 9:12Speaker 1: working on that relationship. His top political operative is David Axelrod.
- 9:18Speaker 1: Axelrod a couple of weeks ago was sent to the
- 9:20Speaker 1: Vatican to meet with the Pope. Now, Axelrod and Obama,
- 9:24Speaker 1: they're from Chicago. This Pope is from Chicago, so they
- 9:28Speaker 1: got a lot of Chicago connections together, and that's why
- 9:31Speaker 1: it was easy for Axelrod to find his connections to
- 9:36Speaker 1: get a meeting with the Pope. And he's been over
- 9:37Speaker 1: there meeting with the Pope.
- 9:39Speaker 2: No.
- 9:39Speaker 1: I think that's part of the deal, Obama letting the
- 9:42Speaker 1: world know he's connected. Now to Mom, Donnie, you need
- 9:45Speaker 1: anything in New York, he's collected to the Pope, you
- 9:47Speaker 1: need anything that way. So he's obviously working hard on
- 9:51Speaker 1: his business, which is selling influence. Now that's basically what
- 9:54Speaker 1: he does. Hey, the NYPD cop, the one that threw
- 9:59Speaker 1: the cooler at the motor cycle and was overcharged, over
- 10:03Speaker 1: sentenced the whole thing. He's out on bail, three hundred
- 10:05Speaker 1: thousand dollars bond. Arthur Idalla, who's a great criminal attorney,
- 10:11Speaker 1: did a great job. Excellent job. He not only got
- 10:13Speaker 1: him out on bail, because before that the judge and
- 10:16Speaker 1: it was insane. The judge remanded him no bail. That's
- 10:19Speaker 1: absolutely crazy, especially when every criminal gets no bail, no jail.
- 10:24Speaker 1: So Iadala got him out and only got him out.
- 10:27Speaker 1: He got the bail lowered. He now has one hundred
- 10:29Speaker 1: and twenty days to file an appeal with the appellate Division.
- 10:33Speaker 1: You know, when you try to get bail on all that,
- 10:37Speaker 1: you have people write letters to the judge on your behalf.
- 10:40Speaker 1: So they got one letter which was a petition. Eleven
- 10:43Speaker 1: thousand cops signed it asking the judge to opt for probation.
- 10:49Speaker 1: Eleven thousand cops signed it. Hey, the awful, evil Gail King,
- 10:54Speaker 1: nasty woman in real life. Gail King obnoxious, nasty woman
- 10:58Speaker 1: in real life. Remember Gail King does the CBS Morning
- 11:04Speaker 1: Show and it's in the last place, gets crushed by
- 11:08Speaker 1: Good Morning America, gets crushed by the Today Show. It's
- 11:10Speaker 1: a last place show. It's on for years, going no place,
- 11:14Speaker 1: always in last place. It's a total disaster ratings wise.
- 11:17Speaker 1: But a while back, this is whatever it was five
- 11:21Speaker 1: six years ago, new contract, and she gets some preposterous
- 11:26Speaker 1: fee for being in last place. It was like twelve
- 11:28Speaker 1: million a year for a show that's a total failure.
- 11:30Speaker 1: But The reason was that was back then when CBS
- 11:34Speaker 1: was in the middle of horrible, horrible scandals. There was
- 11:36Speaker 1: the Less moonvest rape scandal, there was the Charlie Rose
- 11:41Speaker 1: sexual misconduct scale scandal, and there was a whole bunch
- 11:46Speaker 1: of people, a lot of the news executives. In sixty minutes,
- 11:49Speaker 1: people all had to quit sexual abuse scandals. It was
- 11:53Speaker 1: horrible time at CBS. Just then Gail King's contract comes up,
- 11:58Speaker 1: and they're terrified to her because she is an that's
- 12:00Speaker 1: the evil woman. And I think she was threatening to
- 12:02Speaker 1: write a book. So all of a sudden they double
- 12:05Speaker 1: their salary, keep her there and keep her quiet, keep
- 12:09Speaker 1: her on the team there. Well, now there's new ownership,
- 12:13Speaker 1: there's nothing to do with all those pass scambals. That's
- 12:15Speaker 1: all over. And she you're saying, yeah, but wait a minute,
- 12:18Speaker 1: we just hurt a while back, and that's not long ago.
- 12:20Speaker 1: She signed a whole new contract, obviously a love her.
- 12:24Speaker 1: No details are coming out now. Sources say it was
- 12:27Speaker 1: only a one year contract, which is unheard of. When
- 12:31Speaker 1: you can't stand somebody, when you have no use for them,
- 12:34Speaker 1: when you don't want them anymore. Instead of the standard
- 12:37Speaker 1: five year contract, we'll give you a one year extension.
- 12:41Speaker 1: It happened to Jimmy Kimmel. They wouldn't give a new contract,
- 12:45Speaker 1: give you a one year extension. So that's apparently what
- 12:49Speaker 1: happened to Gail King. It's just a one year extension.
- 12:52Speaker 1: And apparently in this little, short, little one year contract,
- 12:56Speaker 1: it doesn't say she'll be doing the morning show so
- 12:58Speaker 1: they can move her. Insiders speculate that she'll probably be
- 13:03Speaker 1: off the Morning Show at some time, and there's not
- 13:05Speaker 1: much left on that contract. So that's the most insulting thing,
- 13:08Speaker 1: that one year extension. You know, secretly, it's the real
- 13:12Speaker 1: reason Johnny Carson quit the Tonight Show. Every five years
- 13:16Speaker 1: he'd sign a new contract. Ed Hook Stratton was his agent.
- 13:19Speaker 1: Ed Hook Stratton and Johnny Carson every five years would
- 13:23Speaker 1: go to the Grill, very nice restaurant in Beverly Hills
- 13:27Speaker 1: for lunch and they'd meet the NBC guys and they
- 13:29Speaker 1: would bring the new five year contract that money had
- 13:32Speaker 1: all been hammered out, and they'd have lunch and Johnny
- 13:35Speaker 1: would sign it. Well, one year, they went to this
- 13:38Speaker 1: thing in nineteen ninety one and the young NBC executive said, Hey, Johnny,
- 13:44Speaker 1: what would you think about that about a one year deal.
- 13:49Speaker 1: Carson knew what that meant. Immediately knew what that meant.
- 13:52Speaker 1: Now they were planning to sign. But as soon as
- 13:54Speaker 1: Carson heard one year, he said, well, to tell you
- 13:56Speaker 1: the truth, I actually came here to announce my retirement.
- 13:58Speaker 1: I'm telling you I'm leaving. He knew what that one
- 14:00Speaker 1: year meant, and the NBC guys were stunned, and Hooks
- 14:04Speaker 1: strattonknew to play along with Carson. Yeah, that's right, we
- 14:07Speaker 1: came here to resign and tell you it's all over.
- 14:09Speaker 1: Whenever you hear one year contract, it means it's over.
- 14:13Speaker 1: You're finished. Hey, there's a streaming show that's coming. I
- 14:17Speaker 1: haven't seen it, but it sounds great. It's on Peacock,
- 14:21Speaker 1: the Gilgo Beach Killer documentary. It's like a several episodes.
- 14:26Speaker 1: This sounds great, this Peacock miniseries Gilgo and they got
- 14:30Speaker 1: all the people talking it. They even interviewed the wife.
- 14:33Speaker 1: Apparently in episode four, the wife explains that at one
- 14:37Speaker 1: point she's with her husband and the husband confessed. Now
- 14:43Speaker 1: can you imagine a wife is with the husband and
- 14:45Speaker 1: he confesses, I'm cheated on you. I've had an affair.
- 14:51Speaker 1: It's over. But I had an affair. I mean, you know,
- 14:53Speaker 1: can't I mention how devastating that is if you're the wife. Now,
- 14:57Speaker 1: imagine if he says, by the way, I choked her
- 15:01Speaker 1: and strangled her and dismembered her, I buried in the beach.
- 15:05Speaker 3: Huh.
- 15:07Speaker 1: Now imagine if he says, and it wasn't just her,
- 15:09Speaker 1: I was like seven others I killed and strangled in this.
- 15:11Speaker 1: So she she explains how he confessed the whole thing
- 15:14Speaker 1: to her. I can't wait to watch this. It's on Peacock,
- 15:20Speaker 1: this new mini series. So it sounds sounds pretty good.
- 15:25Speaker 1: What else we got?
- 15:26Speaker 2: Uh?
- 15:26Speaker 1: Hey, we'll take some calls in a minute. Eight hundred
- 15:29Speaker 1: three to two one zero seven ten is number. We'll
- 15:32Speaker 1: take some calls next. Eight hundred three to two one
- 15:35Speaker 1: zero seven ten. Set up said on the iHeartRadio app
- 15:39Speaker 1: to double o R to hear Mark live. Set another
- 15:42Speaker 1: for Mark's podcast to hear him anytime. Now back to
- 15:46Speaker 1: Mark zimone on douboor Hey, let's take some calls. Eight
- 15:52Speaker 1: hundred three two one zero seven ten is the number.
- 15:56Speaker 1: Let's go to GUP in Denville, New Jersey. Gup. How
- 15:59Speaker 1: you doing?
- 16:00Speaker 2: Hey? Mark?
- 16:01Speaker 4: Good?
- 16:01Speaker 2: Morning. Thanks for taking my call.
- 16:04Speaker 3: There was a great record that came out in the Lake.
- 16:06Speaker 3: I think it was seventy nine or eighty.
- 16:09Speaker 2: Almost made Billboard Hot one hundred, and it might be
- 16:11Speaker 2: very timely tomorrow bomb I ran by Vince Vanson The Valiant.
- 16:16Speaker 1: Oh yeah. John McCain used to sing that bomb bomb
- 16:19Speaker 1: bomb bomba.
- 16:19Speaker 2: Oh okay, there you go.
- 16:21Speaker 3: Well I'm late once again.
- 16:23Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, nineteen seventy nine. You might have want to
- 16:26Speaker 1: call then that was probably Yeah, that's all right, thanks
- 16:29Speaker 1: for calling. Let's go to Phil in Suffolk County. Phil.
- 16:32Speaker 1: How you doing.
- 16:33Speaker 5: Yeah, hello, Mark, thanks for taking my call. As always,
- 16:36Speaker 5: you know, this Virginia registrict to vote, this is a
- 16:40Speaker 5: hot pop. There's so much lying going on. They actually
- 16:43Speaker 5: have Trump showing vote yes when we all know we
- 16:47Speaker 5: want a no vote.
- 16:49Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 16:49Speaker 1: Yeah, it's a terrible redistricting. And of course when you
- 16:52Speaker 1: need some lying done, who do you bring in? Obama?
- 16:55Speaker 6: I think we've got to end the practice of drawing
- 16:57Speaker 6: our congressional district so that politicians can pick the voters
- 17:00Speaker 6: and not the other way around.
- 17:05Speaker 1: Yeah, until it's time to do it for the Democrats.
- 17:07Speaker 1: Then all of a sudden, he's.
- 17:08Speaker 6: For it help put our elections back on a level
- 17:11Speaker 6: playing field and let voters decide, not politicians. This is
- 17:15Speaker 6: the responsible thing to do, help us chart a better
- 17:18Speaker 6: path forward.
- 17:19Speaker 1: Virginia. Great, that's one of Obama's great talents. You know,
- 17:23Speaker 1: he can take whatever side of the issue you need
- 17:26Speaker 1: him to take at that moment. He's a man of
- 17:29Speaker 1: principle or not, depends on the situation. Let's go to
- 17:32Speaker 1: Kathy North Carolina. Kathy, how you doing.
- 17:36Speaker 7: Morning, Mark, Yes, Kathy, thank you. I always depend on
- 17:41Speaker 7: you to give me the updates. So could you update
- 17:43Speaker 7: us on them or explain the Mike Lindell update on
- 17:49Speaker 7: he's being sued the same way Fox got sued about
- 17:52Speaker 7: the voting machines and all that.
- 17:54Speaker 1: Yeah, I love listen. Mike Lindell is a very very
- 17:57Speaker 1: nice guy. He's a really sweet nice guy. But the
- 18:00Speaker 1: problem is these business guys get into politics or they
- 18:03Speaker 1: try to be broadcasters, they start shooting their mouth off.
- 18:06Speaker 1: And he it was those voting machine companies, and he
- 18:10Speaker 1: was a lot of this goes back to this false reporting.
- 18:14Speaker 1: You remember all these people claiming all these things, and
- 18:16Speaker 1: he was repeating that if you're a professional broadcaster, you
- 18:19Speaker 1: know how to phrase it and word it carefully, and
- 18:22Speaker 1: he wasn't careful enough with the wording. He's getting sued
- 18:24Speaker 1: by them. He's also running for governor Minnesota. Did you
- 18:27Speaker 1: know that? No?
- 18:28Speaker 7: I did not, So I'm hoping that we don't we.
- 18:31Speaker 7: I mean, you and President Trump. Don't throw him under
- 18:35Speaker 7: the bus.
- 18:35Speaker 1: No, No, nobody's throwing him under the bus. But go
- 18:40Speaker 1: find him online, Twitter, Instagram, whatever, and you'll see all
- 18:43Speaker 1: the video of his he's running for governor. He's making
- 18:45Speaker 1: all kinds of campaign speeches. Now you might say, well,
- 18:48Speaker 1: I don't know what kind of chance, but you never know. Minnesota,
- 18:51Speaker 1: they always vote these outsiders in his governor. Look at Jesse.
- 18:55Speaker 7: Ventura, a wrestler, Yeah, the wrestler.
- 18:58Speaker 1: Yeah. If you can vote in Al frank In, this
- 19:00Speaker 1: idiot comedian, you can vote in anybody.
- 19:03Speaker 7: So Lindell, he's really the victim of a lot of
- 19:07Speaker 7: you know, warfare with the courts, and I just I hope, Yeah.
- 19:12Speaker 1: Of course he is. Of course, he's the problem is
- 19:14Speaker 1: in my pillow, by the way, is great pillow. He
- 19:16Speaker 1: advertised on all the conservative networks and shows, so he
- 19:20Speaker 1: became a target. That's why they go after you. Yeah,
- 19:23Speaker 1: all right, Thanks for calling. Let's go to Dennis Huntington,
- 19:26Speaker 1: New York. I love Huntingdon Dennis. How you doing all right?
- 19:30Speaker 3: Mark? How you doing? Thanks for the taking a call.
- 19:32Speaker 3: Speaking of morning hosts and contracts about Howard Stern, how
- 19:36Speaker 3: is this guy still working? How still giving him contracts?
- 19:40Speaker 3: I mean, the guy is a total wokester. Was more
- 19:42Speaker 3: than half his audience?
- 19:43Speaker 1: No, no, no, he lost much more than half. Must
- 19:45Speaker 1: much much much more than half the audio most of
- 19:47Speaker 1: the audience. But these new contracts are for a lot
- 19:51Speaker 1: less money. A lot less money, that's what it is,
- 19:55Speaker 1: a lot less money. He likes to work. Listen to.
- 19:57Speaker 1: Guy's close to a billionaire and he still wants to work.
- 20:02Speaker 1: So you'll notice it used to be six to ten,
- 20:04Speaker 1: five days a week. Then it was like three days
- 20:07Speaker 1: a week. Now it's like two days a week. Now
- 20:09Speaker 1: it's like one day. Yeah, so it takes the summer off.
- 20:12Speaker 1: That's that's the deal for uh.
- 20:15Speaker 3: I guess it's good working if you could find it.
- 20:17Speaker 3: Saw me up. But I mean, the guy's not funny anymore.
- 20:19Speaker 1: He's he could be funny, but he's crazy. Walk. You
- 20:22Speaker 1: know the problem is, you go walke, you go broke.
- 20:24Speaker 1: There you're Charlie Gasprino book improved even how it's all right?
- 20:30Speaker 1: Thanks for Colling. Yeah, we love Huntington. A lot of
- 20:32Speaker 1: great restaurants there. You got Prime, the most beautiful waterfront restaurant.
- 20:36Speaker 1: Right across the street. You got Posto pozso great food.
- 20:39Speaker 1: You got the Paramount Theater. All kinds of great stuff
- 20:43Speaker 1: in Huntington. Let's go to h Vincent in Brooklyn. Vincent,
- 20:46Speaker 1: how you doing.
- 20:47Speaker 4: Good morning, Mark, I'm okay, good morning, Mara. Mark should
- 20:50Speaker 4: surprise anybody in New York that the first childcare slots
- 20:57Speaker 4: i'll are going to be set up in the David's building.
- 21:01Speaker 4: But guess why they're going to go to city workers. First,
- 21:04Speaker 4: most city workers could afford daycare. But what they don't
- 21:09Speaker 4: realize these daycare centers that Mandami wants to set up
- 21:14Speaker 4: witness for him singing the wheels on the bus go
- 21:18Speaker 4: round round round with Barack Obama the other day, they're
- 21:21Speaker 4: going to become indoctor Nation.
- 21:23Speaker 1: Mills a good point.
- 21:25Speaker 4: They want to now they are, they're teaching them to
- 21:28Speaker 4: become communists in middle schools. They want to even get
- 21:32Speaker 4: them earlier. They want to get him in preschool. They
- 21:35Speaker 4: want to trade him to be a little communists, just
- 21:37Speaker 4: like they used to do in uh Germany and like
- 21:41Speaker 4: what they do in China. Mark Well, Chris Murphy coming
- 21:46Speaker 4: out against Donald Trump and acting saying stuff pro Iranian
- 21:52Speaker 4: thuring World War two. Had any public official came out
- 21:57Speaker 4: in support of the Japanese or the god the Germans
- 22:01Speaker 4: during World War two, people would have stormed their office
- 22:05Speaker 4: or their house, dragged them outside and caught in feathered
- 22:09Speaker 4: him feather.
- 22:10Speaker 1: He looks bad enough already, this Chris Murder. Yeah, but
- 22:13Speaker 1: he's Tokyo Rose, he's Tehran, Chris, exactly.
- 22:18Speaker 4: Here we have people in our government openly supporting the enemy.
- 22:23Speaker 4: That's how far we have falled.
- 22:26Speaker 1: That's totally right, Vincent, great call, thanks for calling. Hey,
- 22:29Speaker 1: you know who's next, Bill O'Reilly. We'll ask him about
- 22:31Speaker 1: all of this and lost to talk to Bill O'Reilly
- 22:33Speaker 1: about it in just a moment on seven to ten
- 22:36Speaker 1: w R. Mister New York Mama, Mark Simon seven to
- 22:39Speaker 1: ten wo R. Well, Bill O'Reilly a longtime number one
- 22:46Speaker 1: TV anchor, and you know you go to his website
- 22:49Speaker 1: Bill O'Reilly dot com, Bill O'Reilly dot com, you can
- 22:51Speaker 1: watch the TV show you can get the column his
- 22:54Speaker 1: great books. Also, Bill O'Reilly has an excellent YouTube channel.
- 22:58Speaker 1: A lot of good stuff on Bill O'Riley on YouTube,
- 23:01Speaker 1: and make sure to watch this new podcast, Will Do
- 23:03Speaker 1: It Live. Boy. There's a bunch of great episodes out
- 23:07Speaker 1: Bill O'Reilly's podcast, Will Do It Live. You can get
- 23:09Speaker 1: everything at Bill O'Reilly dot com. Bill O'Reilly. How you
- 23:12Speaker 1: doing well?
- 23:14Speaker 2: Okay, everything's chugging along here. How about you, Mark?
- 23:18Speaker 1: I'm good. I'm good. Despite what the crazy Democrats might say.
- 23:23Speaker 1: Trump I think is going to do all right in Iran.
- 23:25Speaker 1: Don't you think six months from now it'll be a
- 23:27Speaker 1: great situation.
- 23:29Speaker 2: I don't know. I just don't know. They're pretty insane
- 23:34Speaker 2: people over there we're dealing with, and it looks to
- 23:39Speaker 2: me like they're going to have to crack. But you know,
- 23:44Speaker 2: I can't guarantee it, or I can't even put any
- 23:46Speaker 2: odds on it, because they don't care whether their own
- 23:49Speaker 2: people die. And that's a real big advantage when you're
- 23:54Speaker 2: in a negotiation, if you have nothing to lose and
- 23:57Speaker 2: they don't. Well, so that's where we are on that,
- 24:00Speaker 2: and it just changes from our at hour. As everybody knows.
- 24:04Speaker 1: Yeah, but the good news they've had absolutely no military
- 24:07Speaker 1: success against us of any kind. Even when the two
- 24:09Speaker 1: pilots were down there, we quickly got them back. It's
- 24:12Speaker 1: really just about nothing they can do to us, is there.
- 24:16Speaker 2: I don't think they're an organized military thread anymore. It's
- 24:21Speaker 2: just the uranium enrichment and the missile programs they already
- 24:27Speaker 2: had in place that the weapons inspectors have to monitor.
- 24:31Speaker 2: That's what it's all about now, just getting weapons inspectors
- 24:34Speaker 2: in there to say, you know, this is where the
- 24:38Speaker 2: government is, what they're doing, and they're resisting that. Yeah,
- 24:42Speaker 2: and if that could just go away for a little while,
- 24:46Speaker 2: then Donald Trump would get a big victory, that's for sure.
- 24:50Speaker 1: Yeah. Hey, before Barack Obama. Apparently Netflix doesn't want to
- 24:55Speaker 1: continue to deal with him. He doesn't want to end
- 24:58Speaker 1: up as irrelevant as Bill Clint. It looks like he's
- 25:00Speaker 1: trying to establish some cloud. Everyone hanging out with mom Donnie.
- 25:03Speaker 1: His guy Axelrod is with the Pope. Is that what
- 25:06Speaker 1: he's up to.
- 25:08Speaker 2: I don't know why he was here for, Ma'm donnie.
- 25:12Speaker 2: I can't figure that one out.
- 25:15Speaker 1: For what I think it's that simple. The Netflix deal
- 25:18Speaker 1: is over. He's looking for new deals. If he's chumming
- 25:21Speaker 1: with mom Donnie, it looks like he's got clout every place, do.
- 25:25Speaker 2: You think so? Yeah, he was a business thing. I
- 25:29Speaker 2: you know, it's surprising because Barackobata didn't do anything unless
- 25:33Speaker 2: it's well calculated and fought out. He's not a spontaneous guy.
- 25:37Speaker 2: And it might be a business thing, but it didn't
- 25:40Speaker 2: get much traction. I mean, we in New York noticed it,
- 25:44Speaker 2: but noting anybody in Colorado cares. And he's sitting there
- 25:48Speaker 2: with ma'am Donnie and they're yucking it up with the kids.
- 25:51Speaker 2: Nothing really wrong with that, But I don't know why
- 25:55Speaker 2: he did it. He could do so many other things
- 25:59Speaker 2: that he doesn't do. He's not a socialist. He got
- 26:02Speaker 2: four unbelievable homes, and he charges three hundred thousand dollars
- 26:07Speaker 2: a speech Obama does. But there he is with the
- 26:12Speaker 2: kids in the Queen's school. That was really weird to me.
- 26:18Speaker 2: And there's somebody going on. There's some reason, but I
- 26:22Speaker 2: don't know what it is.
- 26:24Speaker 1: I think it's that simple. I think that's why this
- 26:27Speaker 1: guy Axelrod is meeting with the pope. He's going to
- 26:30Speaker 1: have clout everywhere. If you need anything, you pay him
- 26:33Speaker 1: a fortune, give him another sixty million dollars.
- 26:36Speaker 2: Yeah, maybe. I mean axel Rod is a guy who
- 26:38Speaker 2: has no power whatsoever anywhere. I think the pulp visit
- 26:44Speaker 2: was scheduled before all the chaos, and I'm not sure.
- 26:48Speaker 2: But even if he does go to the Vatican, I
- 26:50Speaker 2: mean he did go and he met with the Pope,
- 26:53Speaker 2: so a lot. I mean, axel Rod didn't have any
- 26:56Speaker 2: any delivery system. He's really nothing other than Barack Obama's friend. Now,
- 27:02Speaker 2: you may be right, they may be hatching some kind
- 27:05Speaker 2: of comeback, and that wouldn't be far fetched because I
- 27:13Speaker 2: think Barack Obama would love to be the kingmaker in
- 27:15Speaker 2: twenty twenty eight. Yeah, he'd love to be the guy
- 27:19Speaker 2: that all the Democrats come and kiss the ring pardon
- 27:22Speaker 2: the pope analogy. And he'd like to be the leader
- 27:27Speaker 2: of the party because there is no leader to the party.
- 27:30Speaker 2: So maybe he's working in that direction, but I don't
- 27:32Speaker 2: know if ma'am Donnie's going to get him there.
- 27:34Speaker 1: Yeah. Hey, bill O Riley, I have here a stack
- 27:37Speaker 1: of articles that says the President Trump or Donald Trump
- 27:41Speaker 1: fighting with the Pope is the worst disaster. He's finished
- 27:44Speaker 1: He'll never These are all from twenty sixteen. This is
- 27:47Speaker 1: from the last part fight with the last Pope. When
- 27:50Speaker 1: are they going to learn that he's never finished? Nothing
- 27:52Speaker 1: that's going to knock him out. There's really nothing that
- 27:54Speaker 1: would shock anybody anymore? Is there that he could say?
- 27:57Speaker 2: No? They just want Americans want this to be over,
- 28:00Speaker 2: and if it concludes in a way that it's favorable
- 28:04Speaker 2: to us, everybody will forget about the Pope thing. I
- 28:08Speaker 2: was in Palm Beach over the weekend. I did a
- 28:11Speaker 2: beach at a basilica in Palm Beach, Sat Edward's Big Church.
- 28:17Speaker 2: It's where the Kennedy's attended Mass. And I thought when
- 28:22Speaker 2: I walked in there was a pretty big crab about
- 28:24Speaker 2: five hundred, that there was going to be a lot
- 28:27Speaker 2: of angst on a part of these traditional Catholics. But
- 28:31Speaker 2: there wasn't. Well, they wanted information, that's what the Q
- 28:35Speaker 2: and A was. But they weren't angry with Trump's debate
- 28:41Speaker 2: on the Pope. They didn't seem to be agitated that
- 28:46Speaker 2: the Pope was going against the President somewhat. They just
- 28:53Speaker 2: wanted information about it, which I gave them.
- 28:56Speaker 1: Yeah, a lot of Catholics we love the pope, but
- 28:59Speaker 1: they're not to with a woke pope. That's not something
- 29:04Speaker 1: most Catholics were looking for.
- 29:05Speaker 6: You.
- 29:05Speaker 2: I think that's an accurate statement because Francis was different
- 29:09Speaker 2: than Leo. Francis was an open border guy, right out,
- 29:15Speaker 2: open border guy. Let everybody in, let them do what
- 29:18Speaker 2: they want, and not only in the United States but everywhere,
- 29:22Speaker 2: no restraint on migration. Leo, as soon as he got
- 29:26Speaker 2: in there, made it a priority, just say no, no, no.
- 29:29Speaker 2: I believe in laws and immigration law, and you have
- 29:34Speaker 2: to A country has to be able to regulate its borders.
- 29:37Speaker 2: Leon went out of his way to say that. Didn't
- 29:40Speaker 2: get a lot of pick up, but he said it.
- 29:44Speaker 2: I don't know if Trump got that memo. I don't
- 29:48Speaker 2: know if Trump he still thinks they're the same, because
- 29:53Speaker 2: I was all about the soft on crime. That's what
- 29:55Speaker 2: the soft on crime was. You let all the immigrants
- 29:59Speaker 2: say they can make crime, and what are you doing?
- 30:02Speaker 2: So right now, I mean I could broke or a
- 30:04Speaker 2: deal between the Pope and the President in half an hour.
- 30:09Speaker 2: I mean, it wouldn't be hard for me to do that.
- 30:12Speaker 2: I think both men do want piece. I believe they do,
- 30:16Speaker 2: and that's a big piece of common ground. And then
- 30:20Speaker 2: if you say to the Pope very respectfully your onliness.
- 30:24Speaker 2: If you're going to get into the political aspect of policy,
- 30:28Speaker 2: you got to explain yourself. You know. The very simple
- 30:32Speaker 2: question is is Vatican City which is a country? Okay
- 30:36Speaker 2: with Aron having a nuke. That's a pretty simple question.
- 30:41Speaker 2: But you have not answered it. And so I don't
- 30:45Speaker 2: know if it's going to be review to continue down
- 30:48Speaker 2: this public policy road when your job is essentially to
- 30:53Speaker 2: preach about peace and for the president is wants it
- 30:57Speaker 2: to all go away. So that would be a fairly
- 31:00Speaker 2: easy play on the other side of the equation.
- 31:02Speaker 1: Yeah, Hey, Bill O'Reilly, This Saturday is the White House
- 31:06Speaker 1: Correspondence Dinner for the first time ever as President Donald
- 31:09Speaker 1: Trump will be there. He'll speak what do you What
- 31:12Speaker 1: do you think? How's that going to go?
- 31:14Speaker 2: Well? I'm going, oh good. I don't want to go,
- 31:18Speaker 2: but I have to go because it's a story. And
- 31:21Speaker 2: I wrote a message today on Bill O'Reilly dot com.
- 31:24Speaker 2: If anybody's out of control, they're gonna have to deal
- 31:26Speaker 2: with me. And I mean that physically. I don't think
- 31:29Speaker 2: that's going to happen. Secret Service that will remove them,
- 31:33Speaker 2: But I'm going to be there front and center, and
- 31:37Speaker 2: you know, these people get out of control, they do
- 31:39Speaker 2: something untoward, because you have to respect the office of
- 31:42Speaker 2: the presidency, you know what, I thought, Like Donald Trump,
- 31:46Speaker 2: you don't have to be a support of his, but
- 31:49Speaker 2: you cannot go in there and try to diminish, if
- 31:52Speaker 2: you're a journalist, the office of the presidency. And if
- 31:55Speaker 2: anybody tries to do that, they're gonna run up against me.
- 31:57Speaker 2: And I'll stand up. I mean I'll be there. You'll
- 32:00Speaker 2: see me.
- 32:01Speaker 1: Yeah. Were you at the Al Smith dinner? You know,
- 32:05Speaker 1: it's basically a roast in a ballroom. It's a similar
- 32:07Speaker 1: kind of setting. And Trump was brilliant roasting everybody in
- 32:11Speaker 1: the room. He really just was great, tearing them apart.
- 32:14Speaker 1: You think that'll happen Saturday.
- 32:17Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm never invited to that dinner. I guess I
- 32:21Speaker 2: don't know why I'm not. But Cardinal doll And I
- 32:25Speaker 2: don't think he's a big fan of mine. He should
- 32:30Speaker 2: have a good speech. I mean, that's that's why he's there.
- 32:32Speaker 2: Melanie is going to be there. This is Saturday night
- 32:36Speaker 2: at the Washington Hilton, and you know, laughs and laughs. Okay,
- 32:42Speaker 2: that's good. But if anybody's booing or hissing or screaming
- 32:47Speaker 2: or anything like that, that's not gonna go well for them.
- 32:52Speaker 1: Yeah. Well, it'll be fascinating to watch. So, Hey, I
- 32:55Speaker 1: love the podcast. We'll do it live. Bill o'riley's got
- 32:58Speaker 1: this new podcast. Great. Steve sharipa episode Lindsey Graham was boy,
- 33:03Speaker 1: that was fascinating. Steve Kroft, Howie Mandel, what's the next
- 33:07Speaker 1: episode coming?
- 33:08Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 33:09Speaker 2: We got Jean Judged, Denny Impiro stopping them all.
- 33:12Speaker 1: Good, that'll be great.
- 33:14Speaker 2: Yeah. Does anybody know what she does? I don't know
- 33:16Speaker 2: what she does, you know, Yeah, we'll find that.
- 33:21Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 33:22Speaker 2: So but I was happy to get to book her.
- 33:26Speaker 2: She's not around that much anymore on TV. This will
- 33:30Speaker 2: be a pretty big interview. Yeah, and we're looking forward
- 33:34Speaker 2: to her and going out to DC tomorrow morning. Yeah,
- 33:38Speaker 2: and we will do that interview late in the afternoon.
- 33:41Speaker 1: You know why it's so great. A lot of people
- 33:43Speaker 1: try these things, but you do it. It's like a
- 33:45Speaker 1: TV studio and you're wearing a suit. It looks great.
- 33:48Speaker 1: Everybody else they put a dartboard, a pool table, they're
- 33:51Speaker 1: wearing a lumberjackshirt. It never looks right. It looks Phonny.
- 33:54Speaker 1: This yours looks real, and that's the way it should
- 33:57Speaker 1: be done.
- 33:58Speaker 2: I appreciate that we try to bring a little traditional
- 34:01Speaker 2: sense of decorum. I have to wear a stupid tuxedo
- 34:05Speaker 2: on Saturday night. That thrills the ball. Right now, I'll
- 34:09Speaker 2: do it, you know. Look, I'm an old you know,
- 34:13Speaker 2: an old school guy. I mean, this is the way
- 34:15Speaker 2: we've been doing it for fifty years. It's worked pretty
- 34:17Speaker 2: well for us.
- 34:18Speaker 1: Yeah, so watch the podcast. We'll do it live, and
- 34:22Speaker 1: then the YouTube channel is excellent, and you go to
- 34:27Speaker 1: Bill O'Reilly dot com. You can get everything at Bill
- 34:29Speaker 1: O'Reilly dot com. The podcast, the a lot of great
- 34:33Speaker 1: clips of you on the news Nation, this one with
- 34:36Speaker 1: Dan Abrams, all kinds of great clips there. And we
- 34:40Speaker 1: get to column, the TV show, the books, everything at
- 34:42Speaker 1: billoreilly dot com. Bill O'Reilly, thanks for being with.
- 34:46Speaker 2: Us always fun Mark, thanks for having me.
- 34:49Speaker 1: All right, take care. Hey, there's a lot coming up today.
- 34:54Speaker 1: I get done at noon. And then you got Buck
- 34:55Speaker 1: and Clay, and then you got Sean Hannity, and you
- 34:58Speaker 1: got Jesse Kelly, you got Jimmy Fayla, and you know
- 35:01Speaker 1: that Curtis is back. Curtis Sliwa is here every morning
- 35:07Speaker 1: six to ten. It's Curtis Sliwa, Larry Minty right here
- 35:10Speaker 1: on seven to ten. Wr Today's Insight. Tomorrow's headline marks
- 35:15Speaker 1: them up seven ten. Woah. This must be really big
- 35:21Speaker 1: and important because on MSNBC they have it up on
- 35:25Speaker 1: the screen bottom of the screen, but they've left it
- 35:28Speaker 1: up for like an hour. Look at this Tonight at
- 35:32Speaker 1: nine Exclusive interview with Elizabeth Warren. They have the Kevin
- 35:38Speaker 1: wars hearings today, and Elizabeth Warren's gonna yell and scream
- 35:41Speaker 1: at him and create all kinds of viral video. So
- 35:45Speaker 1: the left all be looking at the clips of Elizabeth
- 35:47Speaker 1: Warren screaming at Kevin Warsh. So they put up on
- 35:51Speaker 1: this It says, look all right there, it says tonight
- 35:53Speaker 1: exclusive interview with Elizabeth Warren. Now, the reason it's exclusive
- 35:57Speaker 1: is that nobody else has asked her to be on.
