- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with on our radio.
- 0:06Speaker 2: Hey guys, we welcome to the Almost Famous podcast. Today,
- 0:11Speaker 2: Ben and I are here to recap episode two of
- 0:13Speaker 2: Grant season.
- 0:14Speaker 3: Hi, Ben, what's up.
- 0:16Speaker 4: It's a big episode obviously every season. It's where we
- 0:20Speaker 4: start to get to know the contestants involved and we
- 0:23Speaker 4: start to see maybe some themes that will understand from
- 0:27Speaker 4: the Bachelor or wherever the lead is throughout the season.
- 0:31Speaker 4: I remember Joey's season, Episode two is where we're really
- 0:34Speaker 4: started to go. This guy's got what it takes to
- 0:37Speaker 4: be a really good lead. He was listening, he was responding,
- 0:42Speaker 4: and the season kind of picked up from episode two.
- 0:46Speaker 4: This episode, we were just talking, have a lot of
- 0:49Speaker 4: high hopes for the season in front of us. There
- 0:53Speaker 4: is some shocking moments that we're going to talk about.
- 0:56Speaker 4: One of the most shocking moments I've had in recent
- 1:01Speaker 4: history when it comes to eliminations. The other Mark and
- 1:05Speaker 4: I don't know listeners argue with us on this. I
- 1:09Speaker 4: don't want this to sound like a bashing of the show.
- 1:12Speaker 4: We're obviously still into the show when we have a
- 1:14Speaker 4: lot of high hopes for us this season, but one
- 1:17Speaker 4: of the words I would use to describe this episode
- 1:20Speaker 4: specifically was a little cringey. It was had a lot
- 1:24Speaker 4: of like dead awkward moments for me.
- 1:27Speaker 5: There was so many unimportant moments for me.
- 1:32Speaker 2: You know, I always say, like the moments that make
- 1:35Speaker 2: me want to grab my phone and start scrolling.
- 1:37Speaker 5: I had a.
- 1:38Speaker 2: Number of those where I was just listening and I
- 1:41Speaker 2: was like, this is so inconsequential.
- 1:45Speaker 4: It felt like, you know, we watched the Bachelor franchise
- 1:49Speaker 4: because it is that upper level reality show where yeah,
- 1:54Speaker 4: you know, you can fantasize, you can romanticize, you can
- 2:01Speaker 4: get hooked into the storylines, and it feels like, in
- 2:05Speaker 4: a lot of ways, it's not reality and it isn't right.
- 2:08Speaker 4: You're not gonna go on helicopter rides, You're not going
- 2:10Speaker 4: to go these fancy dates. You're not gonna have this
- 2:12Speaker 4: person show up to a random place and play a
- 2:15Speaker 4: private concert for you. A lot of this is all overblown.
- 2:18Speaker 4: This episode, I think, almost to me felt like watching
- 2:23Speaker 4: a home video.
- 2:25Speaker 2: Like yeah, okay, wow, I was gonna say we TV,
- 2:29Speaker 2: but you just beat it there with the home video.
- 2:33Speaker 5: It felt really low budget.
- 2:35Speaker 4: It did okay, so let's dive in and talk about
- 2:37Speaker 4: this episode, the good, the bad's the uglies, and why
- 2:40Speaker 4: we maybe felt like it missed the mark when it
- 2:42Speaker 4: comes to the standard that's been placed for over twenty
- 2:45Speaker 4: five seasons on The Bachelor.
- 2:48Speaker 3: So start at the very beginning.
- 2:52Speaker 4: The ladies are in the house, they're excited, and we've
- 2:54Speaker 4: had enough Grant puns so far to fulfill those quota
- 2:58Speaker 4: for the rest of the season.
- 3:02Speaker 2: And we're still continuing with the that's my husband, that's
- 3:05Speaker 2: my husband talk. I still think it's way more this
- 3:08Speaker 2: season than ever before.
- 3:10Speaker 5: Oh my god, Parisa gets through this week and Alicia didn't.
- 3:17Speaker 5: I'm just discovering this reading out that group list.
- 3:20Speaker 4: We're going to talk about that in a bit, Ashley.
- 3:21Speaker 4: That's obviously one of the most shocking moments for us
- 3:24Speaker 4: this season. This is a group date where they're going
- 3:26Speaker 4: to play basketball. It makes sense. It's what Grant loves,
- 3:30Speaker 4: it's what he did professionally. We knew this was coming.
- 3:35Speaker 4: They weren't going to miss the opportunity to do a
- 3:37Speaker 4: basketball date. They had the kids involved, which is always
- 3:43Speaker 4: a good added touch. However, I felt the kids were
- 3:45Speaker 4: underutilized when it comes to their comedic relief, their energy levels,
- 3:52Speaker 4: the ways they could almost put pressure on these women
- 3:57Speaker 4: a little bit because they ask good questions. I felt
- 4:01Speaker 4: like the kids this episode or this date were underutilized,
- 4:05Speaker 4: I agree, and almost made it not make sense on
- 4:09Speaker 4: why they were there.
- 4:10Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, that was a point that I didn't
- 4:12Speaker 2: think about, but now that you mention it, I agree,
- 4:14Speaker 2: because they were really cute when they were fair. The
- 4:19Speaker 2: shining moment with them was definitely with Natalie. Was she
- 4:21Speaker 2: sat with that girl and what did they even I
- 4:24Speaker 2: don't remember what they talked about.
- 4:26Speaker 3: That girl was like.
- 4:27Speaker 4: Out of breath and now kind of like calm back down,
- 4:32Speaker 4: which was very sweet. It was very much a show
- 4:36Speaker 4: of comfort that she knows what she's doing, She's fine
- 4:40Speaker 4: in those situations. This date really is marked by the
- 4:44Speaker 4: fact that they played basketball. Nobody there as a contestant
- 4:48Speaker 4: is extremely good at basketball, but they The whole point
- 4:53Speaker 4: of this date I think leads up to the most
- 4:58Speaker 4: climactic moment, which is where Zoe steals Grant away from
- 5:03Speaker 4: really their only group activity during this date, which is
- 5:06Speaker 4: a dunk contest, which could have been funny to watch.
- 5:10Speaker 4: I could have seen where it made like decent television
- 5:12Speaker 4: to see these women trying some fancy dunks and doing
- 5:15Speaker 4: some funny stuff.
- 5:17Speaker 5: How are they gonna dunk? Is that why it never happened?
- 5:21Speaker 4: Okay, okay, not on ten foot, But Zoe steals grant Away.
- 5:27Speaker 3: So my first question to you, Ashley as we break
- 5:30Speaker 3: this episode.
- 5:31Speaker 4: Down, is Zoe in the wrong for stealing grant Away
- 5:37Speaker 4: in this moment?
- 5:43Speaker 2: Maybe did it when she did it when she was
- 5:47Speaker 2: told to do it.
- 5:48Speaker 5: I can't get around it.
- 5:50Speaker 3: But she did.
- 5:51Speaker 4: She did it, and so it doesn't matter if she
- 5:54Speaker 4: was go erst or told hey, this is a good idea.
- 5:57Speaker 3: She did it. She made the choice to do it,
- 6:00Speaker 3: and so was it a good decision?
- 6:02Speaker 5: No, No, it's never a good decision.
- 6:04Speaker 2: It's it's a good decision sometimes if you actually is
- 6:08Speaker 2: it really ever a good decision?
- 6:10Speaker 5: Is it really ever?
- 6:12Speaker 3: I don't think it's a good decision.
- 6:13Speaker 5: No, I don't think so. I thought that she also
- 6:17Speaker 5: seemed so. I don't know.
- 6:21Speaker 2: When she took up to the roof, I didn't like
- 6:23Speaker 2: the way she was talking to him. I can't really
- 6:25Speaker 2: describe how she was talking to him, but like it
- 6:27Speaker 2: was just like yeah, no, yeah no, And I was
- 6:32Speaker 2: just like, God, this is why you stole him to
- 6:34Speaker 2: have this kind of conversation.
- 6:36Speaker 4: Yeah, I think it always shows a little desperation when
- 6:40Speaker 4: somebody does something like this. I don't know if it's
- 6:43Speaker 4: a bad decision. In two or three weeks, when you're
- 6:46Speaker 4: on a group date and you're like, Hey, we haven't
- 6:47Speaker 4: had any one on one time. I want to make
- 6:50Speaker 4: the effort to get someone on one time with you
- 6:51Speaker 4: because it doesn't seem to be happening any other time,
- 6:54Speaker 4: and so I am going to ask you to spend
- 6:55Speaker 4: some time with me. This on the first group date,
- 6:59Speaker 4: when the women are still trying to figure out what
- 7:01Speaker 4: and the heck they're doing here and how these things
- 7:03Speaker 4: even work. Yeah, it felt like there's only one way
- 7:06Speaker 4: this could go, and it would be controversial with the
- 7:08Speaker 4: women involved. Now, the controversy is going to happen. Issues
- 7:13Speaker 4: are going to happen in the house. That's how the
- 7:15Speaker 4: show's set up. But I think a philosophy for most
- 7:19Speaker 4: people as they come on the show Kelsey on Joey's
- 7:22Speaker 4: season would be a great example of this is, hey,
- 7:25Speaker 4: try not to force controversy or try not to allow
- 7:30Speaker 4: controversy to slip in. And this interruption feels like it
- 7:34Speaker 4: would only go one way with everybody else in the house.
- 7:36Speaker 4: And honestly, I don't know if Grant's far enough into
- 7:40Speaker 4: it yet, but at some point he'll get there or
- 7:44Speaker 4: he should have said no. The reason is it distracts
- 7:47Speaker 4: him from the date. It makes everybody stand around for
- 7:51Speaker 4: as long as they were away from each other. So
- 7:53Speaker 4: it does make the women a little bit upset with
- 7:56Speaker 4: him or just not having a good time. And the
- 7:59Speaker 4: best thing he has on his side right now, Ashley,
- 8:02Speaker 4: is that the women could at least have a good
- 8:04Speaker 4: time during these dates. Like that's the one thing he
- 8:07Speaker 4: has to his advantage is these dates are going to
- 8:09Speaker 4: be set up for everybody to enjoy themselves, and if
- 8:13Speaker 4: he loses that, he just has a bunch of bored, angry,
- 8:17Speaker 4: confused people.
- 8:19Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 8:20Speaker 2: Well, the steal that I thought was interesting was later
- 8:24Speaker 2: at the cocktail party, Ali Joe did she interrupt? I
- 8:30Speaker 2: feel like she was the one that she was like
- 8:32Speaker 2: totally done with Zoe and Kauz. Zoe interrupted Juliana, We
- 8:38Speaker 2: like Juliana, but Ali Joe.
- 8:40Speaker 5: Is like, hey, can I can I steal you?
- 8:43Speaker 2: And then she was like he hesitated, and he was like,
- 8:48Speaker 2: I'm going to come back to you. Like he's still
- 8:51Speaker 2: into Zoe, doesn't care about any of these interruptions. Yeah,
- 8:54Speaker 2: he said, I want to give you the two minutes.
- 8:56Speaker 2: You're right, I want to give your last two minutes
- 8:58Speaker 2: or something.
- 8:59Speaker 4: I think Grant's going to be a great bachelor. I
- 9:01Speaker 4: think he's a very handsome. I think he's kind. I
- 9:03Speaker 4: think he cares. I'd say, if we're at all picking
- 9:07Speaker 4: apart his strategy or how he's looking at things right now,
- 9:11Speaker 4: I would say his mistake is that he might be
- 9:15Speaker 4: too easily swayed by some of these interruptions and that
- 9:21Speaker 4: he should have said no to both of these. They're
- 9:23Speaker 4: not helpful. Right, You've already had your time. What's going
- 9:26Speaker 4: to be said in the next five minute conversation that
- 9:30Speaker 4: you have that wouldn't be said already.
- 9:34Speaker 3: When she stole you?
- 9:35Speaker 4: And so he needs to, in a sense, manage this
- 9:39Speaker 4: thing before it blows up on him, and that every
- 9:42Speaker 4: woman in the house is mad at each other or
- 9:44Speaker 4: they're mad at Zoe. If he likes her, one of
- 9:46Speaker 4: the ways to show that he likes her is to
- 9:48Speaker 4: protect her and say, hey, this isn't a good points like, hey,
- 9:54Speaker 4: we're good, you're going to be here next week.
- 9:56Speaker 3: We'll get another week together. It's gonna be fine.
- 9:58Speaker 4: Yeah, But I'm want to go move and talk to
- 10:00Speaker 4: some of the other ladies. He also has some This
- 10:04Speaker 4: is the wrong word, but I think it will make
- 10:06Speaker 4: sense fighters in the house, meaning they aren't afraid to
- 10:10Speaker 4: stand up for what they believe in and what they
- 10:12Speaker 4: think is right. And I think we're already seeing that,
- 10:15Speaker 4: which is a great quality to a human. It's not
- 10:17Speaker 4: a bad quality. But what it does do when you
- 10:19Speaker 4: have enough of those and they have a common enemy,
- 10:23Speaker 4: it can get very chaotic. Yeah, in the house and
- 10:29Speaker 4: on these dates.
- 10:30Speaker 2: Yes, So we know that Zoe is a fighter. We
- 10:33Speaker 2: know Ali Joe is a fighter. Anyone else who's like
- 10:37Speaker 2: really sticking out to you. I'm even thinking that Chloe
- 10:40Speaker 2: could be.
- 10:42Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean I think Chloe could be. I do
- 10:45Speaker 4: think Juliana has a little bit of it in her.
- 10:49Speaker 4: And I think we're gonna see, like some of the
- 10:51Speaker 4: Baileys of the world stand up at some point. But
- 10:59Speaker 4: I think so far what we're seeing is at least
- 11:01Speaker 4: we've got a few on this date specifically. Now, honestly,
- 11:04Speaker 4: it doesn't matter which team won. One team blew out
- 11:07Speaker 4: the other wasn't even a game, which I don't think
- 11:12Speaker 4: really mattered when it came to this date at all.
- 11:14Speaker 4: It it almost I wish it would have because it
- 11:18Speaker 4: would have made this date a little more important, But honestly,
- 11:22Speaker 4: it felt like the basketball date, for all they could
- 11:25Speaker 4: have done with it, was just a filler in a
- 11:29Speaker 4: lot of ways, Like that. Was there anything really that
- 11:32Speaker 4: came from that date of importance other than Chloe getting
- 11:35Speaker 4: a little bit.
- 11:36Speaker 3: Of time with him?
- 11:37Speaker 5: Not really.
- 11:38Speaker 2: I could it would be nice if he did one
- 11:39Speaker 2: on one with both the girls. Yeah, it could have
- 11:41Speaker 2: also been like kind of intimates.
- 11:53Speaker 4: So we're through the first part of the date and
- 11:55Speaker 4: we move on to a really beautiful date with Alex.
- 12:00Speaker 4: On one date, Alex did receive the first impression Rose,
- 12:03Speaker 4: which Commit promised her the first one on one date
- 12:06Speaker 4: of the season.
- 12:07Speaker 3: I love that idea.
- 12:08Speaker 4: I love that the first impression Rows also gets the
- 12:10Speaker 4: first one on one. However, I do think it really
- 12:12Speaker 4: catapults them to the top and far beyond for a
- 12:16Speaker 4: few weeks everybody else. But I do like what the
- 12:19Speaker 4: show did this season where add a little bit uh
- 12:23Speaker 4: more to that first impression Rose, Alex and Grant have
- 12:28Speaker 4: a tremendous first date.
- 12:29Speaker 3: I think it was again odd for the show. They
- 12:33Speaker 3: did it in like a mall.
- 12:37Speaker 5: I was like, this is the Beverly summer, like I
- 12:39Speaker 5: used to just go shop there. Yeah, it's just like
- 12:41Speaker 5: the most average. Honestly, it's a really average mall these days.
- 12:44Speaker 4: I mean, it looks like any other mall that like
- 12:48Speaker 4: isn't really in business anymore. And they had it to themselves,
- 12:52Speaker 4: which is cool. And I love the smell of them all.
- 12:56Speaker 5: I love the smell of them all.
- 12:58Speaker 3: The fountain in the middle that makes them all.
- 13:00Speaker 4: Like chlorine, and then you know everybody's like germs everywhere
- 13:04Speaker 4: and the prencil like malls a cool place. I wish
- 13:08Speaker 4: the mall would make its resurgence, even though I don't
- 13:10Speaker 4: know how it would, but to have it the day
- 13:13Speaker 4: stable at the mall, it feels again like it missed
- 13:22Speaker 4: the mark because it wasn't. I don't know what it
- 13:26Speaker 4: was like. I don't know the point of going to
- 13:28Speaker 4: the mall. And then they like had some stars open
- 13:30Speaker 4: to them and they got to.
- 13:33Speaker 3: Do that.
- 13:33Speaker 4: But I don't even know if. I mean, these people
- 13:35Speaker 4: are so young, did they even ever go to a
- 13:38Speaker 4: mall growing up? I mean, Grant said he did, but
- 13:40Speaker 4: did he really?
- 13:43Speaker 5: Yeah he did.
- 13:44Speaker 2: Yeah, you're right, there is a there's a four year
- 13:47Speaker 2: age gap with us.
- 13:47Speaker 5: Isn't he thirty two?
- 13:48Speaker 2: Oh he's thirty, so he's six years there. The malls
- 13:51Speaker 2: were still around. I understand what they were doing. The
- 13:53Speaker 2: purpose was to make them feel like kids again. It
- 13:57Speaker 2: was silly though. It's like the big wow factors, like
- 13:59Speaker 2: there's a big rose on the screen and she's supposed
- 14:01Speaker 2: to be like, holy cow, oh there's a rose on
- 14:03Speaker 2: the screen. And then they go around and do these
- 14:06Speaker 2: silly bachelor things where it's like they bump each other
- 14:09Speaker 2: with these moving stuff animal horses, and they jump on
- 14:13Speaker 2: a bed as if like in life, we ever effing
- 14:15Speaker 2: jump on a bed.
- 14:17Speaker 3: I've never jumped on a bed in my life. And
- 14:19Speaker 3: they broke that bed.
- 14:20Speaker 4: So the show really backfired on if they're doing low
- 14:23Speaker 4: budget date, they're like, no, now I have to buy
- 14:25Speaker 4: a bed. I can see how this played out, though,
- 14:31Speaker 4: for whatever reason, this is what the show chose to do.
- 14:34Speaker 4: These are my least favorite dates, Ashulely when I was
- 14:36Speaker 4: a bachelor, because there was so many activities that the
- 14:39Speaker 4: show wanted you to do. You can't like get in
- 14:41Speaker 4: a rhythm and you're like bouncing around from the thing.
- 14:44Speaker 4: Now the show's like how fun would it be if
- 14:45Speaker 4: you got on those things and hit each other? And
- 14:47Speaker 4: you're like, wasn't really thinking about that, but yeah, let's
- 14:50Speaker 4: do it.
- 14:51Speaker 2: That's just like it's stupid giggles to me, like I
- 14:53Speaker 2: think i'd be doing this. I'm just feeling like really dumb,
- 14:55Speaker 2: like I would never do this with somebody, and like
- 14:57Speaker 2: this isn't that much fun. I can't pretend like it's fun.
- 15:00Speaker 4: It's too planned, is what I would say. Is it's
- 15:03Speaker 4: too formulaic to make it fun. There's too many things
- 15:08Speaker 4: that we're asked. If they just said, hey, let's go
- 15:11Speaker 4: to the mall, we're going to open up a few stores,
- 15:15Speaker 4: you guys like have your pick and have a little
- 15:17Speaker 4: fun with them, great, But they had all this set
- 15:20Speaker 4: up and so it was like almost like they were
- 15:22Speaker 4: moving station to station to station instead of just like
- 15:25Speaker 4: kind of letting loose. So as a result, I don't
- 15:28Speaker 4: know how much of their personality we actually got to see,
- 15:31Speaker 4: because I think it was also planned and it felt
- 15:35Speaker 4: planned to me. I do, though, think they're date together.
- 15:38Speaker 4: They have the chemistry, they have the comfort it feels
- 15:43Speaker 4: like the two of them are very attracted to each other,
- 15:46Speaker 4: and so I am leaving this date going a great
- 15:49Speaker 4: first date again it so let usfies our idea that
- 15:53Speaker 4: Alex is going to probably be here a while.
- 15:55Speaker 2: Great first date. You forgot to mention the most important
- 15:58Speaker 2: part to the date to me, and that was when
- 16:01Speaker 2: he played the piano for her. That could have been
- 16:04Speaker 2: the only stop.
- 16:05Speaker 3: It was good, It was really good.
- 16:08Speaker 2: I had so much respect for him ad liping that song,
- 16:12Speaker 2: coming up with that from the top of his head
- 16:14Speaker 2: like there is a hook there. It was a romantic
- 16:17Speaker 2: That was a That was a good bachelor moment.
- 16:20Speaker 4: Shout out to Grant for coming out with his first
- 16:22Speaker 4: single on Spotify last week.
- 16:25Speaker 5: I would download it like, there's that dune, dune dune?
- 16:30Speaker 2: How do you come up with that on the spot
- 16:31Speaker 2: That's just a lot about somebody's No, he did actually.
- 16:34Speaker 4: Come out with the song on Spotify last week. Oh really,
- 16:37Speaker 4: not that song, but a different song. Oh yeah, party
- 16:39Speaker 4: girl or something.
- 16:41Speaker 3: Really need to hear this, No, you gotta look it up.
- 16:46Speaker 3: It's not the song you heard it girl.
- 16:47Speaker 2: Wouldn't it make sense if it was this song? Because
- 16:50Speaker 2: I would actually want to listen to this song again.
- 16:52Speaker 3: Yeah, no, it did. He did. I mean he's great.
- 16:55Speaker 4: He's he's very swoony in these moments, and you can
- 16:59Speaker 4: see why people or why the girls are like, hey,
- 17:02Speaker 4: I like this guy.
- 17:04Speaker 3: Again.
- 17:04Speaker 4: I go back to thinking, I think he's going to
- 17:06Speaker 4: be a great lead if he doesn't get in trouble
- 17:12Speaker 4: in the house, meaning that this chaos becomes such a
- 17:16Speaker 4: focus point that he can't actually invest in these relationships
- 17:19Speaker 4: because he's going to have four or five dates and
- 17:22Speaker 4: the women are going to go I got to tell
- 17:24Speaker 4: you what's going on in the house. And that's always
- 17:26Speaker 4: some annoying moment of the season, and I think it's
- 17:29Speaker 4: going to happen a lot this season. I just expect it,
- 17:31Speaker 4: and then it's going to take away from who he
- 17:33Speaker 4: is and what the relationships could be. But I think
- 17:36Speaker 4: you and I both agree, Ashley, we walk away from
- 17:39Speaker 4: this one on one outside of everything else going, this
- 17:43Speaker 4: is a they have a legitimate shot, right Oh yeah.
- 17:47Speaker 2: And they have a lot of commonality in their background
- 17:51Speaker 2: with having issues with parents and feeling like they come from.
- 17:56Speaker 5: Sort of a broken home. Yeah, especially with her.
- 17:59Speaker 4: Definitely they talk about it, and I think there is
- 18:02Speaker 4: a comfort, and I think she says it, there's a
- 18:04Speaker 4: comfort knowing that like Grant can relate with me and
- 18:07Speaker 4: that he understands the situation I'm in. I think that
- 18:11Speaker 4: obviously is a huge point. And here's the interesting part, Ashley.
- 18:17Speaker 4: Some seasons we see this being told second third one.
- 18:22Speaker 4: I went in right later in the season like, hey,
- 18:24Speaker 4: I just want to let you know Hometown's is going
- 18:26Speaker 4: to be rough for me because here's my family dynamic.
- 18:30Speaker 4: It's interesting to me that this was brought up right
- 18:33Speaker 4: away and that they both could be shared, you know,
- 18:37Speaker 4: similar experiences, and that that's already on the table, so
- 18:41Speaker 4: both of them know when they talk about family, this
- 18:45Speaker 4: is what the response is going to be, or maybe hey,
- 18:48Speaker 4: I'd rather not talk about family. I do think it
- 18:50Speaker 4: showed a level of comfort with the two of them
- 18:53Speaker 4: that isn't always shown so early on.
- 18:56Speaker 5: Mm hmm.
- 18:57Speaker 2: I also think that it's nice that the two of
- 19:00Speaker 2: them know that they want to raise families, knowing that
- 19:05Speaker 2: they want to do the opposite of how they were raised.
- 19:08Speaker 4: That's yeah, and that's such a I mean, here's maybe
- 19:12Speaker 4: I'm just picky. I would love in those moments for
- 19:17Speaker 4: either of them to be like can you tell me
- 19:18Speaker 4: more about what you mean by that?
- 19:20Speaker 2: And you know, maybe they did and we just didn't
- 19:22Speaker 2: see it, because obviously they had a long time there.
- 19:25Speaker 2: And I actually think that they may have been there
- 19:27Speaker 2: until the sun rose, because I feel like I was
- 19:29Speaker 2: seeing glimmers of sunlight in there, and you know that
- 19:32Speaker 2: they didn't start until it got dark, So that's a
- 19:35Speaker 2: really late time to start a one on one.
- 19:37Speaker 3: This sounds terrible. I think we how bad your breath
- 19:40Speaker 3: would be by the time the date's over.
- 19:42Speaker 2: I know, especially after're talking all that time than having champagne,
- 19:47Speaker 2: who the heckry mouth?
- 19:49Speaker 5: Gross?
- 19:49Speaker 3: Okay, disgusting?
- 19:52Speaker 2: So next day we actually probably have good amount to
- 19:55Speaker 2: talk about here. This is the singing and dancing group
- 19:58Speaker 2: date where they have to beasically be a girl band.
- 20:02Speaker 5: It was led by Robin Anton and.
- 20:04Speaker 2: She created the Pussycat dolls, so you know it's gonna
- 20:07Speaker 2: be sexy and I would I was just thinking how
- 20:10Speaker 2: I would fail this date because I can't sexy dance.
- 20:13Speaker 4: I was thinking about my wife and I was like,
- 20:16Speaker 4: just just would hate this so much, like she.
- 20:18Speaker 2: Doesn't Nat turned Jess and I on a date like this,
- 20:22Speaker 2: like overtly sexual, no.
- 20:23Speaker 4: Like they couldn't, like she wouldn't do it, Like I
- 20:26Speaker 4: don't know what she would do, it would be hilarious.
- 20:29Speaker 5: Oh my gosh.
- 20:30Speaker 2: So I feel bad for them, But the girls do
- 20:34Speaker 2: a great job. The thing to talk about on this
- 20:37Speaker 2: date is Carolina and the fact that she gets she
- 20:42Speaker 2: gets picked as like, you know, the winner of the date,
- 20:46Speaker 2: and then she goes ahead and straddles him and makes
- 20:49Speaker 2: out with him in front of the other girls, like
- 20:51Speaker 2: I don't think I've ever seen anyone do before. It
- 20:55Speaker 2: was like sex make out. It was like it was whoa,
- 21:00Speaker 2: it was whoa.
- 21:02Speaker 4: You know, I've talked about it one of my philosophies.
- 21:05Speaker 4: I think another safety mechanism for being the lead girl
- 21:11Speaker 4: or guy is to try your best not to kiss
- 21:14Speaker 4: any contestant in front of other contestants.
- 21:18Speaker 3: I think that.
- 21:18Speaker 4: I mean, it doesn't always work right, and it doesn't
- 21:20Speaker 4: always happen, especially when you're in the mansion. There's so
- 21:22Speaker 4: many viewing points that people can see you from if
- 21:25Speaker 4: they want. But to be blatantly in front of everybody
- 21:31Speaker 4: and do this, I do think causes some damage to
- 21:35Speaker 4: these relationships, and it makes everybody question where they actually
- 21:39Speaker 4: stand in these relationships and it heightens I think everybody's
- 21:45Speaker 4: thought process, and I need to do that at some point.
- 21:48Speaker 4: So then there's a world in which he's kissed every
- 21:51Speaker 4: girl in front of every other girl, and then things
- 21:53Speaker 4: get really weird because I think one of the benefits
- 21:57Speaker 4: and Caitlin Bristow I think did a great job at
- 21:59Speaker 4: this after a certain important time was you there's a
- 22:05Speaker 4: mystery to where the other relationships stand. Yeah, and everybody's mind.
- 22:09Speaker 4: So you're like, I really I think they like each
- 22:10Speaker 4: other a lot, but I don't really know because I've
- 22:12Speaker 4: never really seen them together. But it feels like, you know,
- 22:16Speaker 4: their eyes light up a little bit when they come
- 22:17Speaker 4: in the room. But maybe I'm reading too far into it.
- 22:19Speaker 4: I think if you get too physical with anybody in
- 22:24Speaker 4: front of anybody else, it it eliminates that mystery in
- 22:29Speaker 4: that other person's mind, and I think that's a dangerous
- 22:31Speaker 4: path to go down, especially this early haun.
- 22:37Speaker 5: I feel like he's kissed everyone thus far. He's even
- 22:40Speaker 5: eliminated people he's kissing.
- 22:42Speaker 4: Week two.
- 22:43Speaker 3: Yeah, that is nuts. That is nuts. It's actually worth discussing.
- 22:49Speaker 2: It might be it might be the first time that
- 22:52Speaker 2: anyone who has kissed night one is eliminated week two
- 22:55Speaker 2: and that would be Alicia.
- 22:57Speaker 3: Yeah, it is shocking.
- 22:58Speaker 4: We're going to talk about alisiha a lot here as
- 23:01Speaker 4: this episode continues, because it is a shocker to us all.
- 23:05Speaker 4: But to end this kind of dancing date Carolyna obviously one.
- 23:09Speaker 4: I do think it was great. It was a fun date.
- 23:12Speaker 4: It had a lot of It was aesthetically fun like
- 23:15Speaker 4: a bachelor date would be right there, all out there.
- 23:17Speaker 3: Doing their thing.
- 23:18Speaker 4: They're trying to get creative, They're putting themselves in a
- 23:20Speaker 4: little bit of an embarrassing moment, and they all step
- 23:23Speaker 4: up to the challenge. I didn't know if they all would,
- 23:25Speaker 4: but they all stepped up. And I think that's always
- 23:27Speaker 4: something to applaud as we break down each episode. Is
- 23:32Speaker 4: it takes a lot of courage for them to get
- 23:34Speaker 4: up and do this. Even if you were uncomfortable doing it,
- 23:37Speaker 4: it doesn't matter.
- 23:38Speaker 3: You just did it. And so kudos all the contestants
- 23:41Speaker 3: for doing Bravo hard.
- 23:44Speaker 2: And hey, he voluntarily sang as well. Maybe that was
- 23:47Speaker 2: the single that you put out or does he just
- 23:50Speaker 2: want to be a rapper or like an R and
- 23:53Speaker 2: B artist.
- 23:53Speaker 4: With his release on Spotify, I think we're seeing where
- 23:56Speaker 4: grants passions lie. You know, maybe if somebody asked him,
- 24:01Speaker 4: what would you love if you had a dream, where
- 24:04Speaker 4: would the Bachelor go for you? And he would say maybe.
- 24:07Speaker 4: Music At this point is probably our best guess because
- 24:11Speaker 4: it is what he's focused on so much. And I
- 24:13Speaker 4: don't think it's going away. I think he's going to
- 24:15Speaker 4: continue to play and sing and write and do those
- 24:18Speaker 4: things throughout the season, and that would be fun to
- 24:20Speaker 4: watch because he is an entertainer and he crushed it
- 24:24Speaker 4: on stage during this date. But this day ends. No
- 24:30Speaker 4: shocking moments for me. During the dancing part, like everybody
- 24:33Speaker 4: did great.
- 24:34Speaker 5: I think right right, everybody did great.
- 24:37Speaker 4: I mean Carolina obviously straddling him making out with him
- 24:40Speaker 4: was the you know, the only takeaway that.
- 24:44Speaker 2: Was my biggest takeaway, well, between Alicia getting eliminated and
- 24:49Speaker 2: the most memorable Okay, those are the two most memorable moments.
- 24:52Speaker 2: Like I just can't believe the type of makeout that
- 24:55Speaker 2: was not only in front of all the girls, but
- 24:57Speaker 2: in front of the audience, and it was just so strange.
- 25:02Speaker 3: I would feel very uncomfortable.
- 25:06Speaker 5: I would feel very unomfortable watching that if I wasn't
- 25:08Speaker 5: supposedly dating him either.
- 25:10Speaker 4: Yeah, I'd be uncomfortable if I was I close my
- 25:12Speaker 4: eyes during people making out on TV, so like if
- 25:15Speaker 4: I was an audience member, I'd be like, definitely feeling uncomfortable.
- 25:18Speaker 5: So weird.
- 25:19Speaker 2: Okay, So after party cocktail party, he he pulls Rebecca
- 25:24Speaker 2: aside to see if that there was any like energy
- 25:26Speaker 2: off because he was sensing that, and she was like, oh,
- 25:29Speaker 2: you know, we all just feel feel like weird, you
- 25:35Speaker 2: know when you're out with other people, Like yeah, okay,
- 25:38Speaker 2: Well he I definitely think he pulled her aside because
- 25:42Speaker 2: he this sounds bad. I think he wasn't that into her.
- 25:45Speaker 2: That's why she doesn't get a rose. And he pulled
- 25:47Speaker 2: her aside because he was like, Oh, if I'm going
- 25:49Speaker 2: to talk about the vibe with someone, maybe i'll talk
- 25:51Speaker 2: to her to talk to the talk to a woman
- 25:56Speaker 2: who I'm not really into.
- 25:58Speaker 3: She's another shocker.
- 26:00Speaker 5: Oh yeah, she was really high for you.
- 26:02Speaker 4: Well she was high for me, and she was a
- 26:03Speaker 4: big character during this whole episode. It's weird, I know,
- 26:07Speaker 4: to have characters that have been focused on be eliminated
- 26:11Speaker 4: so quickly. It almost makes me feel like the show
- 26:13Speaker 4: didn't know or expect any some of these women to
- 26:16Speaker 4: be going home when they did.
- 26:18Speaker 3: She was a big character of this episode.
- 26:20Speaker 4: She was highlighted almost a whole time during the writing
- 26:22Speaker 4: part of this date, and there wasn't any controversy with
- 26:26Speaker 4: her other than the fact that he did feel like
- 26:29Speaker 4: her vibes, you know, were off.
- 26:31Speaker 2: They even have like a character building scene with her
- 26:34Speaker 2: when she was talking about makeup with Dina. Yeah, so
- 26:38Speaker 2: why would they even throw that in there.
- 26:41Speaker 4: Either there's two options to this from my opinion. One,
- 26:46Speaker 4: they don't have enough content yet to really fill an
- 26:49Speaker 4: episode and they have to find whatever they can get,
- 26:51Speaker 4: which is never a good sign. Or they didn't expect
- 26:54Speaker 4: her to go home, but they had so much content
- 26:57Speaker 4: on her because they thought she was going to be
- 26:59Speaker 4: a front run that they had to show it.
- 27:01Speaker 2: Yeah, Letia gets the group date.
- 27:14Speaker 5: Rose.
- 27:15Speaker 2: I think she's sticking around longer than we thought she would. Oh.
- 27:18Speaker 4: I think that conversation they had between the two of them,
- 27:21Speaker 4: I think her ability to bring up something that hurt
- 27:24Speaker 4: her and there was a misunderstanding and the two of them,
- 27:29Speaker 4: you know, reconciling or coming to some type of understanding
- 27:34Speaker 4: shows a.
- 27:36Speaker 3: Big step in the relationship.
- 27:37Speaker 4: This early on, right, if this was your first date
- 27:40Speaker 4: with somebody or second date, let's say, second conversation and
- 27:45Speaker 4: you brought up Hey, you said something and it kind
- 27:47Speaker 4: of hurt me last time we talked. But I'm still
- 27:51Speaker 4: into this enough to still be here, and I want
- 27:53Speaker 4: to under I want to hear you out and what
- 27:55Speaker 4: you meant by that. For him to own it and say,
- 27:57Speaker 4: I'm sorry, I said something to do upid, didn't really
- 28:01Speaker 4: mean it. Jumped to some conclusions there, I think shows
- 28:05Speaker 4: that they they have some strength. I also just think
- 28:09Speaker 4: that he's obviously very into her, think she's beautiful, which
- 28:16Speaker 4: she is. But I think he very quickly when he
- 28:20Speaker 4: said you're so pretty, I bet you don't get said
- 28:22Speaker 4: said no to very often. I think that was a
- 28:28Speaker 4: sign that he is kind of infatuated with her, like
- 28:30Speaker 4: he's like, I want you around. So yes, she would
- 28:34Speaker 4: definitely be in my top three at this point.
- 28:38Speaker 5: Well, you're gonna have to fill in your top three
- 28:39Speaker 5: after the Alicia.
- 28:40Speaker 3: And I'm really messed over right now.
- 28:45Speaker 2: All right, Well, I guess it is. Oh, we'll talk
- 28:48Speaker 2: about Bailey before we talk about those eliminations. So Bailey,
- 28:52Speaker 2: I really I wasn't feeling her last week because I
- 28:55Speaker 2: was like, this girl's embarrassing with her like Emily and
- 28:57Speaker 2: Paris shtick where everything's on camera and she's like influencer girl. Well,
- 29:04Speaker 2: she was like really expressing how insecure she was, and
- 29:07Speaker 2: I felt her in this moment because she was like
- 29:11Speaker 2: just you could tell that she was like, oh wow,
- 29:13Speaker 2: I thought I was going to rock this process, but
- 29:16Speaker 2: this is not as easy as I thought it was
- 29:18Speaker 2: going to be, and everything that comes out of my
- 29:21Speaker 2: mouth seems awkward. So I really appreciated her just being
- 29:26Speaker 2: like being open about that, and I'm glad that she
- 29:29Speaker 2: got through. And yeah, I want to see more from
- 29:32Speaker 2: her now because I think that I just thinks she
- 29:34Speaker 2: came across so surface level the first episode and now
- 29:38Speaker 2: she's like, oh, okay, so this is me. Yeah, and
- 29:42Speaker 2: I'm not as confident as I was putting out there.
- 29:46Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean last I think last week, when we
- 29:48Speaker 4: broke this down, I made it pretty clear I thought
- 29:50Speaker 4: Bailey was going to cause some issues in the house.
- 29:53Speaker 4: I would backtrack on that statement now and say I
- 29:55Speaker 4: think I might be wrong, and that there was a
- 29:58Speaker 4: huge jump in my mind for her this episode, saying yeah,
- 30:04Speaker 4: you know what, she had a weird first week. That's okay,
- 30:06Speaker 4: it happens. Everybody's nervous, everybody's awkward. They're trying to figure
- 30:09Speaker 4: out how they fit in this house. And I'm glad
- 30:11Speaker 4: she's around long enough so that we do get to
- 30:13Speaker 4: see it. I don't have the same opinion of Bailey
- 30:18Speaker 4: after two weeks that I did after last week.
- 30:21Speaker 5: We're on the same page, all right.
- 30:23Speaker 2: Now for the eliminations, Alisha's gone, Ella is gone, and
- 30:28Speaker 2: I Ella didn't really you know, we didn't really see
- 30:32Speaker 2: too much of her except for during this cocktail hour
- 30:35Speaker 2: where she was all concerned that she was gonna leave,
- 30:37Speaker 2: and then Rebecca. So Alisha's got to be one of
- 30:42Speaker 2: the weirdest eliminations we've ever seen because we thought that
- 30:45Speaker 2: she was possibly going to get the first impression Rose
- 30:47Speaker 2: last week she was the first serious conversation that he had,
- 30:50Speaker 2: the kiss during the first night, the first kiss, as
- 30:53Speaker 2: so far as we saw, it was the first kiss.
- 30:56Speaker 2: And this week we had no screen time from her
- 30:59Speaker 2: and she went home. I need know, like, actually, guys,
- 31:03Speaker 2: instead of showing us some of the one on one
- 31:06Speaker 2: situations that we had or even fun makeup moments, I
- 31:12Speaker 2: would have loved to see if his interaction with her
- 31:15Speaker 2: was awkward enough to send her home like that? How
- 31:19Speaker 2: did they go from having a great connection conversation that
- 31:22Speaker 2: first night to this, like, did something happen? Was there
- 31:27Speaker 2: the most awkward conversation that just stalled out?
- 31:31Speaker 3: Here's my Ashley. I'm concerned.
- 31:37Speaker 5: I love it when he did things like that.
- 31:41Speaker 4: I'm concerned because I thought we took huge strides with
- 31:45Speaker 4: Joey's season when it came to character development and storylines
- 31:50Speaker 4: and making sense of things, so that we were, you know,
- 31:54Speaker 4: we had a great season with a big following because
- 31:56Speaker 4: people were in the know right they could watch an
- 32:00Speaker 4: episode and kind of see and predict and understand why
- 32:05Speaker 4: things were happening the way they were happening.
- 32:09Speaker 3: Season's previous to that.
- 32:11Speaker 4: You and I sat on this podcast and we continued
- 32:14Speaker 4: to say, I don't know how this happened? What did
- 32:17Speaker 4: we miss? Yeah, stories don't seem to be completed. Why
- 32:21Speaker 4: are we not getting better storytelling? Why are we so
- 32:25Speaker 4: lost each episode on how things are going to happen?
- 32:29Speaker 4: Joey season fixed that for us, and people watched and
- 32:33Speaker 4: they invested into it, and they celebrated it and it
- 32:36Speaker 4: made sense. I'm afraid we're going back to what we
- 32:41Speaker 4: had We thought we had gotten through. Yeh, where we're
- 32:45Speaker 4: going to be sitting here week after week going I
- 32:47Speaker 4: don't understand, Like the story isn't complete, Like how did
- 32:50Speaker 4: Rebecca and him all of a sudden have a conversation
- 32:54Speaker 4: and she was such a main character and now she's
- 32:56Speaker 4: just gone and we don't know why she's gone. We
- 32:58Speaker 4: have no explanation for why she's gone. Alicia, they make
- 33:01Speaker 4: out last week. We thought she was at the front
- 33:03Speaker 4: runner on this show, and we shouldn't be that far off.
- 33:07Speaker 4: We shouldn't be predicting, like, hey, our top three and
- 33:10Speaker 4: one of our top three goes home in week two
- 33:13Speaker 4: after week one.
- 33:14Speaker 3: That shouldn't be a thing. We watched this show for
- 33:17Speaker 3: long enough. We've been on the show ourselves. We should
- 33:20Speaker 3: know enough to make accurate predictions for at least who
- 33:27Speaker 3: we think could be there at the end. And that
- 33:29Speaker 3: could change a week of a week.
- 33:31Speaker 5: I have a stupid suggestion.
- 33:34Speaker 2: Do you think that any part of them was like, Oh,
- 33:37Speaker 2: this will really throw people off. It'll be shocking, and
- 33:40Speaker 2: shocking is good, kind of like back in the day
- 33:43Speaker 2: when somebody was eliminated from American idol.
- 33:46Speaker 5: And nobody ever would assume that they would be. And
- 33:49Speaker 5: then like it got headlines the next day and everybody was.
- 33:52Speaker 2: Like, could you believe that so and so is eliminated?
- 33:55Speaker 2: To do you think that in any way? They're like,
- 33:57Speaker 2: let's eliminate that scene so that people can wonder more.
- 34:01Speaker 2: I think this is I hope not. I actually don't
- 34:04Speaker 2: even think so. I'm just trying to come up with
- 34:05Speaker 2: a reason.
- 34:06Speaker 4: Maybe later on in the season, right but right now,
- 34:11Speaker 4: I don't think anybody's that invested into any of these
- 34:14Speaker 4: characters yet. Like, I don't think anybody is causing that
- 34:17Speaker 4: much controversy from their literal right.
- 34:18Speaker 2: Nobody's gonna make a real headline likes even as we
- 34:22Speaker 2: we are Bachelor podcasters, of course we're going to be
- 34:25Speaker 2: shocked as alicia elimination. But I don't think US Weekly
- 34:28Speaker 2: is covering it tomorrow, you know, yeah, I.
- 34:30Speaker 4: Mean maybe they're trying to create the note next grocery
- 34:33Speaker 4: Store Joe, where you know, somebody's eliminating, people freak out
- 34:37Speaker 4: and it gets like great headlines and then they go
- 34:39Speaker 4: on to do the thing. But it's we're not very yeah,
- 34:42Speaker 4: we don't know that yet, Like it's impossible. That happened
- 34:45Speaker 4: almost organically because people freaked out there wasn't a show
- 34:48Speaker 4: cultivating that.
- 34:50Speaker 2: Yeah, they probably didn't even know that was gonna happen
- 34:52Speaker 2: with Joe.
- 34:53Speaker 5: Joel Mobla is an anomaly, he.
- 34:57Speaker 4: Is, but it's it is just confus me and I
- 35:02Speaker 4: would love to know even more from him, Like they
- 35:06Speaker 4: didn't do a lot of in the moments with him
- 35:08Speaker 4: or interviews with him, or maybe they would have asked him,
- 35:10Speaker 4: what do you think about Alicia, Like this is gonna
- 35:13Speaker 4: be a little bit shocking, what do you think about Rebecca?
- 35:16Speaker 4: And he could explain, Hey, it just feels like we're off,
- 35:19Speaker 4: Like it feels like every time we sit down and
- 35:20Speaker 4: have a conversation, we're not on the same page.
- 35:24Speaker 3: Or I'm just not into it as much.
- 35:26Speaker 4: I was hoping or thought I would be after week one,
- 35:29Speaker 4: and then it would give us that kind of that
- 35:31Speaker 4: would bridge the gap between us just being completely confused
- 35:35Speaker 4: and being in the know, and they're not giving us
- 35:37Speaker 4: enough yet for us to understand why he's making the
- 35:39Speaker 4: decisions he's making.
- 35:41Speaker 3: Now, is it that important?
- 35:43Speaker 4: No, so early, but if this continues throughout this season
- 35:47Speaker 4: where we're just always confused and we feel like we
- 35:50Speaker 4: haven't really watched the season even though we have. Then
- 35:53Speaker 4: it becomes a problem because people just check out. Why
- 35:55Speaker 4: would they watch if they're not going to get any
- 35:57Speaker 4: like they're not invested into it.
- 36:00Speaker 5: I don't know, but that's how I felt leaving this episode.
- 36:03Speaker 2: This episode made me think if I wasn't on the
- 36:06Speaker 2: show and I didn't have this podcast, I want to
- 36:09Speaker 2: be watching this show anymore.
- 36:10Speaker 3: Like you would stop this season.
- 36:12Speaker 2: Yeah, Like I would be watching these two episodes, especially
- 36:16Speaker 2: this episode, and been like, Eh, I think I'm going
- 36:18Speaker 2: to skip this one.
- 36:19Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 36:20Speaker 4: I could see where you would think that, because one,
- 36:24Speaker 4: is there anything gripping leading us into next week? There's
- 36:28Speaker 4: not yet, And that's another. I mean it's something I want.
- 36:31Speaker 4: I want to be gripped to where I'm like, I
- 36:33Speaker 4: cannot wait to see what happens next week, and they
- 36:35Speaker 4: have the cliffhangers and they have the storylines to do that. Also,
- 36:40Speaker 4: we could pick out some women that we think he's into, right,
- 36:45Speaker 4: Alex would definitely be above everybody right now. However, we
- 36:50Speaker 4: don't really have much relationship build.
- 36:54Speaker 5: Up yet, which is fine, and we are in episode two.
- 36:57Speaker 3: We always say it takes like four weeks.
- 37:00Speaker 5: So maybe it's just us being like an episode two. Yeah,
- 37:03Speaker 5: but that's what I mean. You know how like with shows,
- 37:07Speaker 5: a lot of the times.
- 37:08Speaker 2: You have got to give it three your episodes. I
- 37:10Speaker 2: do think that applies to the Bachelor. But when the
- 37:13Speaker 2: episodes are two hours long, that's a lot of time,
- 37:17Speaker 2: not a cap again, that's like, honestly, that's like watching
- 37:20Speaker 2: an HBO show.
- 37:21Speaker 5: And giving it six episodes, yeah.
- 37:23Speaker 2: Saying oh no, you just got to wait six episodes,
- 37:25Speaker 2: and I'm like, I'm not gonna do that.
- 37:27Speaker 3: I don't get I don't have that time in me. Yeah.
- 37:30Speaker 4: We will be watching here, though, and we are excited
- 37:33Speaker 4: to see things progress forward. I'm not out on this
- 37:37Speaker 4: show yet this season. However, I am concerned that we
- 37:41Speaker 4: aren't going to get much from this season for many
- 37:46Speaker 4: weeks because so far we're off to a what I
- 37:49Speaker 4: would say of an odd start.
- 37:52Speaker 5: Yeah, and I would love to say that we had
- 37:54Speaker 5: we had so much.
- 37:55Speaker 2: Momentum last year, like Gary season did so well, and
- 37:59Speaker 2: then Joey season did so well, and then with Gens,
- 38:03Speaker 2: I feel like like a lot of people fell off
- 38:05Speaker 2: again and I'm just like, oh, we're in, Like the
- 38:06Speaker 2: wheels are falling off territory again, which sucks.
- 38:10Speaker 5: Sucks because we were we had so much potential.
- 38:15Speaker 4: I'm still holding out hope. I believe in the producers
- 38:19Speaker 4: of the show. I believe that they want a good story.
- 38:22Speaker 4: I believe they want to make a good show, and
- 38:24Speaker 4: so my hope is that that will start next week
- 38:28Speaker 4: and we'll be here breaking down the next episode of
- 38:32Speaker 4: the Arm of the Bachelor on the Almost Famous Podcast
- 38:35Speaker 4: until next time.
