- 0:00Speaker 1: Tony Kats The Morning News ninety three WIBC.
- 0:04Speaker 2: My name is Craig Collins, filling in.
- 0:05Speaker 1: It's time for our popcorn moment, brought to you by
- 0:08Speaker 1: Boer Remodeling. This will be a kill a Brego Garcia,
- 0:12Speaker 1: a focused popcorn moment. Thank you Carl playing the popcorn sounder.
- 0:17Speaker 1: So this is actually Greg Garrett of Fox News talking
- 0:21Speaker 1: about kill a Brego Garcia and all the terrible things
- 0:25Speaker 1: that have been said about this story that are obviously false.
- 0:29Speaker 1: And I just love the bluntness of how he says
- 0:31Speaker 1: that you don't have the rights that some people are
- 0:33Speaker 1: saying you do. Bud, Oh wait, hold on, you probably
- 0:35Speaker 1: can't hear that. Let me go ahead and fix that
- 0:37Speaker 1: real quick, and then make sure that you can hear it,
- 0:39Speaker 1: because I think something important about the popcorn moment being
- 0:42Speaker 1: able to hear it.
- 0:42Speaker 3: Probably you do not have the same constitutional rights as
- 0:47Speaker 3: American citizens. Now, you do have some limited rights, restricted
- 0:54Speaker 3: due process rights, but those exercised here and have been
- 0:59Speaker 3: from the very big getting which actually resulted in his
- 1:02Speaker 3: being returned to the United States. So a bit of
- 1:05Speaker 3: a myth there when people claim all his constitutional rights
- 1:09Speaker 3: are violate.
- 1:10Speaker 2: No, they're not now they're not. They're doing just fine.
- 1:12Speaker 1: By the way, there are protesters outside of the courthouse. Well,
- 1:15Speaker 1: ki Obrego Garcia has to report in order to probably
- 1:19Speaker 1: be deported somewhere else.
- 1:21Speaker 2: They are not a lot of them.
- 1:23Speaker 1: I think they say dozens in the news, but you
- 1:26Speaker 1: always know when the Left is reporting on things that
- 1:28Speaker 1: they want to be ridiculous, they'll enhance the number. So
- 1:32Speaker 1: when the left says dozens, that means there are not
- 1:35Speaker 1: a lot of people out there because they can't even
- 1:38Speaker 1: get a shot that makes it seem like there are
- 1:40Speaker 1: hundreds of people. If they could get one camera shot
- 1:42Speaker 1: of that, they will claim hundreds. But instead they've got dozens.
- 1:47Speaker 1: And the people are chanting and praying and doing all
- 1:49Speaker 1: kinds of things, and we'll see I would actually occurs here.
- 1:52Speaker 1: But honestly, the popcorn moment, to me is just every
- 1:55Speaker 1: part of the way the Left wants you to love
- 1:58Speaker 1: and support. A man is suspected to be a human trafficker,
- 2:03Speaker 1: a drug dealer, MSN thirteen gang member, all kinds of
- 2:06Speaker 1: terrible things. Those are the potential allegations of an individual
- 2:10Speaker 1: that the Left wants you to say, is you know,
- 2:12Speaker 1: just a family man? Just a loving, wonderful individual who
- 2:17Speaker 1: got to spend the weekend with his family and is
- 2:19Speaker 1: now going somewhere else. He also might be a domestic abuser.
- 2:22Speaker 1: That's another thing that his wife even seemed odd about
- 2:25Speaker 1: when being interviewed and talking about the lawsuits that she
- 2:29Speaker 1: or the things she entered into court about him at times,
- 2:32Speaker 1: because she seemed to be afraid of him. Now apparently
- 2:35Speaker 1: not the case anymore. About all this again is now
- 2:37Speaker 1: the latest version of we're going to pretend anything in
- 2:41Speaker 1: his background is not bad, it's good, it's wonderful, and
- 2:44Speaker 1: you love it, in order for you to stop talking
- 2:47Speaker 1: about the negative or truthful aspects of said story.
- 2:50Speaker 2: All right, I'm really done. I talked about that. We're
- 2:52Speaker 2: gonna move on.
- 2:53Speaker 1: We're gonna do some sillier stuff before we take another break.
- 2:56Speaker 1: Apparently coffee really does boost your mood, even on a Monday,
- 3:01Speaker 1: According to a brand new study the University of Warwick
- 3:04Speaker 1: did this. Nature dot com published it. What a great
- 3:08Speaker 1: website Nature dot com is. I love their you know,
- 3:11Speaker 1: swimsuit issue anyway? No, the coffee, Yeah, that would be weird.
- 3:15Speaker 1: The coffee thing is not just the amount of energy
- 3:19Speaker 1: you get. It makes you quote, happier, more enthusiastic, makes
- 3:23Speaker 1: everything about you a more enjoyable individual. About two and
- 3:28Speaker 1: a half hours is how long the joy? This is
- 3:31Speaker 1: the actual word they use. Lingers from drinking some coffee,
- 3:34Speaker 1: Matt Bear, how do you feel about that?
- 3:35Speaker 4: That's a complete lie, all of it.
- 3:37Speaker 5: This is just more conspiracy, conspiratorial lies from beginning to end.
- 3:43Speaker 5: First off, Kevin, it doesn't make you feel good for
- 3:45Speaker 5: two and a half hours. Okay, I've got like about
- 3:47Speaker 5: a forty five minute half life if I'm drinking coffee
- 3:51Speaker 5: and then I have to go back for more. It's Secondly,
- 3:54Speaker 5: it's a Monday. You need to have like something dangling
- 3:58Speaker 5: the carrot, you know, on a Monday at the end
- 4:00Speaker 5: of the week this you need to start thinking about the.
- 4:02Speaker 4: Weekend on a Monday.
- 4:03Speaker 5: That's the only way to live a productive and happy life.
- 4:06Speaker 4: I feel like you know that's true.
- 4:07Speaker 1: You got anything going that way that's making you think
- 4:10Speaker 1: about this weekend or no, No, I'm.
- 4:11Speaker 5: Just drinking lots of coffee Hopefully it'll make me feel
- 4:14Speaker 5: I'll still feel good in two and a half hours.
- 4:16Speaker 5: To think about it the other way, without coffee, you're depressed.
- 4:20Speaker 2: Oh that is the lake up. That is true.
- 4:23Speaker 1: Actually, I've mentioned my wife a lot on this show.
- 4:25Speaker 1: I don't know why I'm doing that, and I think
- 4:27Speaker 1: it's always been bad. It's always gone the wrong direction
- 4:29Speaker 1: for me. If she listens to the podcast, she's tried
- 4:32Speaker 1: to give up coffee before, she should not.
- 4:34Speaker 2: Give up coffee. That is not a good decision. That
- 4:37Speaker 2: does not make my life happier, Carl.
- 4:39Speaker 1: Whenever she's giving up coffee for like two days, it's
- 4:41Speaker 1: a very rough time period. And then it ends, and
- 4:44Speaker 1: then coffee's back in her life and things are wonderful again.
- 4:47Speaker 5: It's the tea drinkers I really admire. We have a
- 4:50Speaker 5: tea drinker here on the it's a WIBC news.
- 4:53Speaker 2: Who can we out the tea drink I.
- 4:54Speaker 5: Don't want to know. I don't want to say a
- 4:56Speaker 5: thing about Jarrett. He's new and everything so o.
- 4:59Speaker 2: Got Yeah, don't spy.
- 5:01Speaker 4: You can hear them.
- 5:02Speaker 5: During the middays, I anchored news. Fantastic individual. But as
- 5:05Speaker 5: I understand it, and I might have dreamt this and
- 5:08Speaker 5: making this up in my head, but I believes.
- 5:09Speaker 4: A tea drinker.
- 5:10Speaker 5: Now, I've tried lots of times drinking tea instead of
- 5:14Speaker 5: coffee for lots of reasons. You know, your green tea,
- 5:17Speaker 5: you know, increases your metabolism. All these health benefits and
- 5:19Speaker 5: everything else. Did not wake me up one time. And
- 5:23Speaker 5: I think that's because I have such a high caffeing tolerance.
- 5:25Speaker 5: But the people that are able to do it get
- 5:28Speaker 5: some sort of enjoyment or fulfillment out of their morning.
- 5:31Speaker 4: You're good Americans. That's off to you.
- 5:33Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, yeah, no, I agree. I wholeheartedly agree
- 5:35Speaker 2: with you. That's awesome, man. You know, I've known some
- 5:39Speaker 2: tea drinkers as well.
- 5:40Speaker 1: I don't know Jarrett, but I know some other ones,
- 5:42Speaker 1: and I will tell you that I think they're doing
- 5:44Speaker 1: it to feel fancier than the rest of us.
- 5:46Speaker 2: They might be very nice people, but I.
- 5:48Speaker 1: Think part of them is, like, I want to feel
- 5:50Speaker 1: more sophisticated, because if it's got caffeine in it, you
- 5:53Speaker 1: can bring yourself down to our level.
- 5:54Speaker 4: Buddy.
- 5:55Speaker 1: You can have the coffee, you can have the energy drink,
- 5:57Speaker 1: you can sink right on down and not feel the
- 5:59Speaker 1: need to be a tea guy.
- 6:01Speaker 5: That kind of it feels like, you know, if you're
- 6:03Speaker 5: out in suburbia and you're a big shardonade drinker, and
- 6:06Speaker 5: then you still call it yourself a wine kindosewer. You know,
- 6:08Speaker 5: it's kind of on the same level, you know, you know,
- 6:10Speaker 5: I have this bottle of wood Bridge. I love white
- 6:13Speaker 5: Zimfindel so much, just like that, send me to the
- 6:18Speaker 5: tasting Championships.
- 6:19Speaker 1: But you know what, you know what's funny about that too,
- 6:21Speaker 1: Matt is I've never understood the sip of wine that
- 6:24Speaker 1: I get if I order a bottle of wine somewhere, like,
- 6:26Speaker 1: I don't know what to do with that. They let
- 6:28Speaker 1: me smell it, they let me sip it. I haven't
- 6:30Speaker 1: noticed if it's good or bad in those moments. I
- 6:33Speaker 1: hope it's not good. I hope it's cheap. I hope
- 6:35Speaker 1: I can pay less money for it. So if I'm
- 6:37Speaker 1: sipping it, I'm already worried that this is a very
- 6:39Speaker 1: expensive bottle of wine. But I've always wondered about the
- 6:43Speaker 1: people who claim like to gain a lot of information
- 6:45Speaker 1: from that, if they're just being you know, serious, or
- 6:49Speaker 1: they're full of crap.
- 6:50Speaker 5: The one, really, the one regret I have for my drink.
- 6:52Speaker 5: You well, okay, maybe I have more than one regret.
- 6:56Speaker 5: The big regret is I never sent a bottle of
- 6:58Speaker 5: wine back. I mean, think about that. Here, I am
- 7:01Speaker 5: just like in a polo in some raggedy shorts at
- 7:03Speaker 5: a restaurant. You know, for some reason, they'll let me
- 7:05Speaker 5: taste the wine before we actually order to be like, Nah, man,
- 7:09Speaker 5: that's a bad bottle, that's a bad year. Don't ever
- 7:12Speaker 5: bring me two thousand and three again the rest of
- 7:14Speaker 5: my life. Horrible year for grapes. And just see the
- 7:16Speaker 5: look on the waiter's face.
- 7:18Speaker 1: I don't know, you know, actually I love the idea
- 7:21Speaker 1: there because that would make me sound like I know
- 7:23Speaker 1: what I'm talking about. Just send one bottle back, just
- 7:26Speaker 1: be like, oh, the terrible, awful thing.
- 7:28Speaker 5: Will you trade this for the Boons please? There's a
- 7:33Speaker 5: store right around the corner. You can go get it
- 7:35Speaker 5: at you know.
- 7:35Speaker 1: Oh my god, Boons Farm brings back a lot of memories,
- 7:38Speaker 1: but probably aren't complete.
- 7:40Speaker 2: Actually, it doesn't bring back the whole memory.
- 7:42Speaker 4: All right, Yeah, thinking about it.
- 7:44Speaker 2: Yeah, it's not great.
- 7:45Speaker 1: Other things out there that I saw that I thought
- 7:47Speaker 1: were interesting before we take a break real quick. This
- 7:50Speaker 1: is just a stupid person who did stupid things, which
- 7:53Speaker 1: I do love those.
- 7:54Speaker 2: A drunk, hot dog.
- 7:57Speaker 1: Dressed guy t Peede her neighbors are.
- 8:00Speaker 2: A forty eight year.
- 8:02Speaker 1: Old Florida man thought that the best costume to put
- 8:05Speaker 1: on would be a hot dog to conceal his identity,
- 8:08Speaker 1: and then as a hot dog, he tped the neighbors stuff.
- 8:12Speaker 1: But everyone knows he's the guy with the hot dog costume.
- 8:14Speaker 2: In the neighborhood. So it actually made it easier to
- 8:17Speaker 2: find this dude in Saint Petersburg, Florida.
- 8:19Speaker 5: Say, that's what Boons Farm does to you. Right there,
- 8:21Speaker 5: you dress up as a hot dog, you start toilet
- 8:24Speaker 5: paper puers.
- 8:24Speaker 4: Listen.
- 8:25Speaker 5: I mean, there's something I don't want to be doing
- 8:28Speaker 5: meeting here because I think there's a gear stripped here
- 8:30Speaker 5: somewhere in the fact that you're a grown man. And listen,
- 8:33Speaker 5: everybody likes stressing his hot dog at any age. You know,
- 8:36Speaker 5: let's just make all do we are. We've all done
- 8:38Speaker 5: it is to write a passage.
- 8:39Speaker 4: We all do it.
- 8:39Speaker 5: But to actually toilet paper a home in your middle ages,
- 8:43Speaker 5: I'm sorry, I can't approve of that.
- 8:45Speaker 4: It just seems like a bad idea.
- 8:47Speaker 2: You know, you ever tp anything as a kid?
- 8:49Speaker 4: Oh?
- 8:49Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, I got it. Okay, I got in all
- 8:51Speaker 5: sorts of troubles. So many times for that kind of stuff.
- 8:53Speaker 4: It was ridiculous.
- 8:54Speaker 2: Oh yeah, maybe got off here man.
- 8:57Speaker 5: Yeah, I got busted by the cops once with a
- 8:58Speaker 5: turn full of toilet paper. You know, my buddy was driving.
- 9:01Speaker 5: He was underage, he wasn't sixteen yet.
- 9:03Speaker 1: So wait a minute, though, is that that big of
- 9:05Speaker 1: a deal, Like, couldn't you just say you need all
- 9:07Speaker 1: the toilet paper?
- 9:08Speaker 2: Like does this have to be a tepeeing thing?
- 9:10Speaker 4: Well, you see, Craig, I had priors already tolet.
- 9:20Speaker 2: Tpe bear. I didn't know that's what they called.
- 9:22Speaker 4: You had a trunk full of toilet paper. When I
- 9:25Speaker 4: got caught, we.
- 9:26Speaker 2: Got the toilet paper guy again.
- 9:28Speaker 4: Guys, you needed to go to the bathroom really bad.
- 9:31Speaker 4: This guy has a jacket.
- 9:33Speaker 5: The size it's it's twelve pages from his toilet paper
- 9:36Speaker 5: in history.
- 9:36Speaker 2: He's well low, Yes, you just have one sheet dangling
- 9:39Speaker 2: out of the trunk. That's how they found you. Like,
- 9:41Speaker 2: that's the guy.
- 9:42Speaker 5: That's whoever packed the toilet paper. Let's just say they're
- 9:45Speaker 5: not around anymore. They didn't, they didn't make it through
- 9:48Speaker 5: the weekend.
- 9:50Speaker 2: I don't know if other people are enjoying this. I'm
- 9:52Speaker 2: having a great time. Thank you.
- 9:53Speaker 4: Guys, we'll take a break.
