- 0:00Hi, everybody. Hello, So happy that you're here. I'm happy to
- 0:21be here. And I'm gonna apologize now that I sound like I smoke thirty
- 0:26packs of cigarettes a day. But it's just a Texas cold. I promise
- 0:31no COVID. I've done several tests. I just sound like a man.
- 0:37Hi everybody, Hi, everybody? Hell are you today? Right? Right?
- 0:44And before yeah, go, before we get started, I just have
- 0:48to say happy anniversary. Oh yeah, it's like in a day or two,
- 0:55right it is. But since we're together now, you know, we
- 0:59can celebrate now. And if I don't tell you now, I'll forget well,
- 1:07yeah, tell me about it. I can't say anything nothing whatsoever about
- 1:15forgetting things. Yeah, it's been what it's been a year since at least
- 1:21I popped on board, right, No, it's so. It was three
- 1:29years ago that we did our first joint episode, what has Mama Bear's thing
- 1:34fell down? In the podcast studio we were talking about her and do you
- 1:38remember that in her obituary card fell down from a top shelf. Yes,
- 1:47we were doing the pump Palm Mom from Channel View Texas. That's right,
- 1:52three years ago, Yahi. I mean, admittedly there's like two and a
- 1:59half years there that I just kind of have blocked out. But uh,
- 2:05you know, yeah I was. I yeah, Frank Franco called me out.
- 2:07I deserve it. I was two years off. Now, how dare
- 2:13I? No one hate me? But you do have mails and to tell
- 2:17you, so I think it just happens. I mean yeah, but like
- 2:22I remember my wife's birthday, the kid's birthdays, our anniversary, I remember
- 2:29when we were married. Like, I don't have problems there. Okay,
- 2:32then you're perfect. You don't need to care about me, you just need
- 2:36to care about her and them. I'm far from I'm so far from per
- 2:43Oh my god. Oh hey, I mean you were raised right. Because
- 2:49I have so many friends that are married, their husbands don't remember their birthdays,
- 2:53don't remember their anniversaries. I've become the person that texts them, Hey,
- 2:59don't forget to get your wife a president. Hey, don't forget it's
- 3:01tomorrow and I do my kids. Hey, don't forget it's your dad's birthday.
- 3:07Who I divorce? But you still need to remember whom? So I
- 3:12get it. Yeah, I mean I will say this. There is a
- 3:15bit of cheating, and that's because I usually am the one that goes to
- 3:20the pharmacy and picks up prescriptions. So I am constantly saying birthdays were and
- 3:25over again to get the medication. So, okay, I was worried when
- 3:29you said that you were cheating. I was getting ready to just go on
- 3:32a different tangent and say, how dare you carry? Was gonna ring your
- 3:38beautiful wife? Right? No, no, that is not the case.
- 3:46I will help her bury your body. I would help me bury my body.
- 3:51I would help her bury my pronouns are hard, the pronouns are difficult.
- 3:57We've got some foot let's see here. Hold on, I say some
- 4:00folks have popped in. Hello Sydney. Hello, I'm sing, says sexy
- 4:08voice Terry. Well, I'm glad somebody likes it. I've been told I
- 4:17would forget my calmness if they weren't attached. Hello, Holly Berry. You
- 4:27know, thanks for joining us. I appreciate it. We hope that you
- 4:31enjoy the show. The beginning of it is usually a catch up time,
- 4:34which we're going to do, not the condiment uh and uh. Then we're
- 4:40going to hop into an update on on true crime. Wine Time investigates h
- 4:46Chase Lackey and then we're going to pass right on through that and to our
- 4:53our live recording of our podcast in which we're discussing couples that kill. So
- 5:00this is going to be fun now if I can throw us off track,
- 5:08I sent you a picture of a little fur thing. How about for part
- 5:13of our catchup? We normally talk about headlines. I need to tell you
- 5:18and I will tell you when to post it. But this just happened,
- 5:24and I got permission from the officer who posted this, and it is a
- 5:29theft report, so let me share. Let me apparently send it to myself
- 5:36because I didn't do it, Okay, I can read while you're pulling it
- 5:41up. Yes, yes, Yes. On the morning of September twentieth,
- 5:46twenty twenty three, at six point fifty five am, I entered the kitchen
- 5:51area of my residence to grab some fresh made sausage patties. Upon my arrival,
- 5:58eight sausage patties and the paper plate they were on was missing from the
- 6:03kitchen counter. An inspection of the area yielded an empty paper plate on the
- 6:10floor with a single strand of what appeared to be a black dog hare.
- 6:15The suspect fight as Buckles was last seen heading for the doggy door with a
- 6:21full belly and a guilty look on his plate, and we have his photo
- 6:30coming up right now. There's Buckles. Buckles looks like he's seen some ship.
- 6:42Look some ship. He also kind of looks like he might have gotten
- 6:46into the catnip, possibly into a special brownie. There's there's a shanka.
- 6:53Can you confirm is that special brownie? Stare? That's what I want to
- 6:56know, Holly says, Buckles. You know that is what I said on
- 7:03my friend's post. I said, wait a minute, he is innocent till
- 7:06proven guilty, and I will volunteer to be on the jury. And I've
- 7:12decided he's innocent. Tody and the donkey toy said my trying to take kid's
- 7:23apple out of her hand today. Justice for Buckles. I'm his alibi.
- 7:30We were in the movie. But I saw that on my friend's Facebook,
- 7:36and I texted him on the side, I'm like, can I please share
- 7:41this on my live stream because this is the perfect crime, even though we're
- 7:45not doing a perfect crime tonight. He and look at that look. He
- 7:47said, who me, I didn't do it? It wouldn't It is the
- 7:53shaggy defense. It wasn't me, oh my gosh, said because con bean
- 7:57looks like it looks like that when I have of all the Okay, oh,
- 8:05Tabitha, We're glad that you are, and thank you so much for
- 8:07the kind comment. Yes, and thanks for tuning in. Thank you.
- 8:13Okay, now I actually have tears. What no, no, no,
- 8:16no, that is not a guilty. Look, he's just wondering why his
- 8:22dad is taking a picture of him at seven o'clock in the morning before he's
- 8:24had his coffee. Coffee, that's what that is. We We didn't even
- 8:30have him sign a waiver. Oh, my daughter in love and granddaughter that
- 8:39is them. That is monkey butt and my daughter in love making guys.
- 8:46Yes, I cute coming up with this one because that makes me laugh when
- 8:56you're older, When you're older, My tash, Well, so that was
- 9:05adorable. You said you had a we're not there yet either, we're not
- 9:09there there we are You said you had had you had that story, and
- 9:16I had no idea what to expect. But I am psyched now that you
- 9:22told me that. That's adorable. My Ramona, who was eleven and doesn't
- 9:28give any of those things. Since I now know the age of somebody who's
- 9:35watching, h she mona will just kind of inch towards the table. And
- 9:43there was one point where as as little Bruce Crime was grabbing, I almost
- 9:48said, his name is grabbing his burger. She literally just went and just
- 9:54right out of his hand, right out of his hands. We're getting questions
- 10:01about that. Oh oh yes, I am just gonna say, from my
- 10:09opinion, he was shell shocked and beyond excited. Can I play it?
- 10:16Can? I'm gonna play it on I'm gonna play it tomorrow on the stream.
- 10:18I don't know if you want You're okay with Are you okay with me
- 10:20playing? Oh my god, it's a little brute crime. Please remember I
- 10:24once sent him a toy story wreath I made. Yes, I'm going to
- 10:28take a picture of that and post it because it's amazing. What adage.
- 10:41Because I was gonna asks about donations and stuffy raising money. I did that
- 10:48last night, and uh, some folks donnated, which is good. I
- 10:56don't know how much you read the number to me? Every hundred thirty nine,
- 11:16so it's own four hundred? Is that how much? It was over
- 11:26four hundred? Yeah, I had to get over four hundred. I neber
- 11:31Rotten over four hundred, didn't hear unbridled joy? And then I had to
- 11:46hit pause because immediately after that the Blue theme song came on. And I
- 11:50don't feel like getting a copyright strike, So come on, why not let's
- 11:58not. We don't want a copyright strike before we want ties. Terry,
- 12:01that's true, that's true. Let's not get in trouble anywhere. Please.
- 12:07Well, he was super excited. He is still excited, and so I
- 12:13will be putting all of that into into the thing. It takes a second
- 12:18to like transfer everything, so once I do, okay, just made me
- 12:26everybody. I give my littles, my grandkids. I named Miss Elizabeth monkey
- 12:33butt because I made her little diaper covers with this cute little monkey's face so
- 12:37that when she crawled, her butt shook and had a little monkey on it,
- 12:43and so I named her monkey butt. Ah. And I have friends
- 12:50and former co workers. They'll be like, hey, it's monkey button.
- 12:52They're like, by the way, does she have a name? Nope?
- 12:58I'm like it's monkey Nope, not at all. I can't wait till she
- 13:01grows up and gets married and I embarrass her. Oh yeah, oh for
- 13:09sure, monkey butt I mean you should like like elbow your way to a
- 13:18microphone during the wedding and make sure to elbow my way. Are you kidding?
- 13:22I'll just walk home and take it all right, Well, mama's in
- 13:26the house, Mama is in the hose. But little monkey butt before we
- 13:33get to headline, since we're talking about kids. I don't know if anybody
- 13:39has seen because I've started doing this insane thing with TikTok and makeup, which
- 13:43I'm not great at. But I saw an update right before we went live
- 13:48about the daycare in New York where the kids were exposed to Sentinel and one
- 13:56die. Three were saying they've arrested the owner of the daycare, who said
- 14:03she didn't know, but they found a kilo a fentanyl today. They found
- 14:09a trap door inside the daycare with all of this drugs and stuff. And
- 14:16I saw it right before I walked in here, and I told Hh,
- 14:20I said, could you do me a favor? He goes, what I
- 14:22say, could you turn that f and off? Because that pisss me off.
- 14:28Who would ever consider distributing drugs from a daycare? A cover? Who?
- 14:37Yeah, Like, there are so many easier businesses to have as a
- 14:41cover, so like I get it, like innocence and kids and stuff like
- 14:45that, Like, well, I don't get it, but like I see
- 14:46where that was going. But like own a laundromat, like creaking bad.
- 14:52They did all their cooking under like an industrial I'm not giving you hints or
- 14:56tips like, but seriously keep it out of the ca But the fact that
- 15:01she and the other thing, so it was a home daycare, it had
- 15:05been open about a year, had passed all of its inspections. She was
- 15:09renting out a room within this home daycare to the sky. But they apparently
- 15:18were doing this together. So they originally found a press thing. And then
- 15:22I did the update yesterday that they found the kilo a fentanyl and then tonight
- 15:26that seeing the picture, Lester Holt, you know, was talking about it,
- 15:31and I'm like, it was an entire hidden drawer with multiple bags of
- 15:37drugs and stuff. The fact that only one child died is shocking. They
- 15:43had to give narcan to the other children and we're talking toddlers, so they're
- 15:52holding them both and not letting them out on bail. I do believe we
- 15:58have a justice system to some degree. They have a right to trial.
- 16:03I can't help but think we should just take them out behind the barn.
- 16:11Yeah, we should give them to buckles. We should do something. Cash
- 16:17says that what's crazy is that that place was inspected week. Well, so
- 16:22I'm curious and I'm going to be doing a deep dive tonight into it.
- 16:26I want to know how they found the trap door in the daycare, because
- 16:29they didn't find it when they did the initial search, because this happened three
- 16:33days ago is when I believe I covered it the first time. Sorry,
- 16:37being sick this week, I'm a little lost, but I want to know
- 16:41how they found it. And I don't know what the rules are in New
- 16:48York, but I hope they're going to prison and they never get out.
- 16:52Yeah, no, for sure, for sure. I mean, we send
- 16:57our kids to school in daycare and we expect them to be safe, and
- 17:04you know they're going to be okay. And why would you start a daycare
- 17:11a person who runs a daycare. My aunt, my dad's sister owned a
- 17:15daycare for many, many years in Galveston. People were on the waiting list
- 17:19to go there because everybody wanted to stay there. She did it because she
- 17:22loved kids, not because she made a lot of money. You know,
- 17:26my uncle was a fire chief. She wanted to stay at home with her
- 17:30kids, and she did it because she loved kids. Why would you start
- 17:33a daycare because, let me tell you, taking care of kids is not
- 17:37easy. No, no ah, that's so I just need to say that
- 17:47they need to just go away. Just go away for sure, for sure.
- 17:56All right, Okay, I love this. Somebody little one is called
- 18:00Bacon Bit. Yeah she's Bacon uncle Bacon, but bacon Bit. I love
- 18:07that. Well, I'm ready to get started. Whenever you are, master.
- 18:15That was the only time I will ever call you that, so you
- 18:18better enjoy it. Must be the decongestent. Must Seo has had like fifty
- 18:26shades on for like a consistent like three weeks. So if you've caught that,
- 18:33then that's I'm gonna say, that's why. And now I'm going to
- 18:37hit the video. Here we go. Alrighty, well, before we get
- 19:07into our update, we're gonna get serious for a minute. If you've seen
- 19:15my TikTok and I think I maybe put it on our Facebook, we have
- 19:19received two messages now on our tip line, and I just want to say
- 19:26to the person or persons who called in to the tip line. One was
- 19:32a call, one was a text tip and told us to stop looking into
- 19:36the disappearance of Chase. That I do not like being told what to do,
- 19:41and my parents found out the hard way telling me what to do means
- 19:47I'm going to do the exact opposite. It got me in a lot of
- 19:52trouble. But in this case, they're asking me to stop trying to give
- 19:57a family piece. Yeah, I mean, and they have to you know
- 20:03what they don't have to know. They probably don't know, but like saying
- 20:06stop investigating tells us exactly what we want to know. I'm thinking, I
- 20:11mean, right, and I just want to say, how dare you tell
- 20:14us that? Because I want to say to them, just think if this
- 20:18was your mother or someone you loved, if you know how to love,
- 20:22was missing, wouldn't you want to bring them home, even if it's only
- 20:29their remains? You know you want that piece because it breaks my heart.
- 20:36And I'll be honest, I've lost many hours of sleep investigating this, as
- 20:41I'm sure you have with me, messaging and us gone back and forth all
- 20:45hours of the night. As a mom going to bed at night and not
- 20:51knowing where my child is I can't. I can't, So I want to
- 20:57say, do me a favor. If you know something, please call back,
- 21:03tell us where to finding. Then I will give you what you want,
- 21:10and so will JT, so will the two investigators. We will stop
- 21:15looking into his disappearance because we will have found him, so you will get
- 21:18what you want. Yep. And that's the only way it's going to stop
- 21:22exactly. I mean, it may get to where we only do an update
- 21:26once every three months or something because no new stuff is happening. But I
- 21:33just want to say, how dare you? And I want you to go
- 21:34look in the mirror, and I want you to think about there's got to
- 21:41be somebody in your life that you love, or that somebody that loves you,
- 21:45wouldn't you want them to be able to go to bed. Imagine somebody
- 21:49ripped your drugs out of your hands and place them somewhere where you. I
- 21:55mean, it sounds like I'm making a joke, but I'm not, because
- 21:57my guess is that they love that more than anything else, and so I
- 22:02don't. I mean, I hate assuming, but I'm going to assume.
- 22:04I feel safe at this point for now, And just imagine somebody ripped it
- 22:08out of your hands, and it's like, you know what, it's going
- 22:11away, and they buried it somewhere and you had no access to anything else
- 22:15and you had to figure out where it was. I'm pretty sure you go
- 22:18to the ends of the earth to actually probably try and find it. And
- 22:21that's where we're at. That's where we're at. Yeah. So I just
- 22:26wanted to put that out there because one thing that they've done is they've made
- 22:33me want to do even more and has kind of lit a fire under me
- 22:41because you've told me what to do. I don't like being told and you
- 22:47want me to go against humanity. Yeah, I you know, I thought
- 22:55I heard, like I thought, I felt a disturbance in the force with
- 23:00like Handsome Hubby and a massive like ooh after you received that and told him
- 23:04about it, Like I just I felt this, like I must confess.
- 23:11And I know Handsome hubbies not watching because he's out mowing the back forty.
- 23:15I haven't told him about the notes, oh boy, Oh well, yes,
- 23:23Kelly, we both have po boxes. I haven't told him. They
- 23:32were not threatening, They didn't say they were going to do anything. They
- 23:34basically said stop looking into his disappearance dub h for when you're listening to this
- 23:41later, I want you to know I had no idea that you didn't know.
- 23:48Oh what did you just throw me under the bus and it's found our
- 23:52anniversary because he can destroy. He's a big burly man and I tap dance
- 24:03there, come on, and I'm gonna just say to make it a bugy
- 24:11bet. If y'all are still watching, you better keep your mouth shut.
- 24:15Little girl. Well, I mean, you know, once we download this
- 24:18episode, he's sure gonna know, yeah, considering he's one who edits all
- 24:22of our audio to put it up on the podcast. Like I said,
- 24:26the only reason I haven't told him is because, like I said, I've
- 24:30been sick this week. We won't get into details about some of the little
- 24:33craziness I had to help him happen with my health. But that's the only
- 24:41reason I'm here. Oh hello, and I don't that is my son h
- 24:48j oh crap, Facebook, Yes that is John Jeffa. Just tell me
- 24:59what it'll ast to keep secrets, because mama, mom, keep some of
- 25:03your secrets if need be. But so, like I said, I just
- 25:10want them to know that you know, we're not doing this because we want
- 25:15to put you in prison if you did this, that's the cops job.
- 25:19I want to bring Chase home. I need to be able to go to
- 25:26bed at night knowing that Craig and Debbie know what happened to their son,
- 25:33because if it's causing me to not sleep, I can't even try to put
- 25:41myself in their shoes. I can't. Yeah, so I'm just going to
- 25:48say, just tell us where he is and then I'll give you what you
- 25:52want. Now, I don't know if JT you'll give you what you want,
- 25:56but I am committing that I will give you what you want. Stop
- 26:00looking into his disappearance, because we he won't be disappeared anymore. It is
- 26:03a well known fact that I cost thirty five cents for everything, So you
- 26:11know, you know I I I with with with the inflation, which isn't
- 26:18terrible in comparison to other countries. You know. I just like the lower
- 26:22I like to lower my the bar, right, so everybody you know I'm
- 26:26for everybody. I'm for everybody. Everybody. I'm not for everybody, I
- 26:32said say, I am not for everybody, and that's why I've got two
- 26:34ex hustans. Oh you have a whole husband, and so JT, is
- 26:49it okay if spill a little tea with your permission? Sure? So JT
- 26:56has agreed he is going to do since I do makeup and the headlines,
- 27:02he is going to do a full face of makeup for our TikTok And absolutely
- 27:08that will be coming here in a week, a couple of weeks. So
- 27:15and I didn't even have to give him thirty five cents. My only thing
- 27:18I wished is that we lived close enough so we could do it together.
- 27:25Right. This is like this, This is literally like when Brandy sent me
- 27:29a text that said, hey, you know we're going to read this thing.
- 27:33What do you think about wearing a wig? And I was like,
- 27:34she did not expect me to say, I think I got one upstairs.
- 27:38She expected me to put up a fight. I did not put up a
- 27:41fight. And now I haven't a whole entire wig wall Go wow, I
- 27:49just got a new one in but I'm saving it for our next Perfect Crime
- 27:55episode because I did Jeffery's star. I'm not going to spill the tea.
- 28:03But he has a different nickname that he used during a certain period of his
- 28:07life. If he wants to share it. Who I did. He can't
- 28:12know JEFFA did, but I will not say what it was. Yay,
- 28:19I stay, I stay. I truly if I had another ten hours in
- 28:26a day, Terry, you know this. If I had another ten hours
- 28:29in a day, I would totally work on being a drag queen. I
- 28:32do not have another ten hours in a day. But my ADHD says,
- 28:37you totally need to do it. Oh and you could do my makeup.
- 28:41I could do yours, it could You could probably teach me a few things.
- 28:48Is that that is nickname? Is that his nickname? It just showed
- 28:52up in the chat. It Actually there's well, dynamic is missing, he
- 28:59added there you yeah, just imagine as a mom the first time I heard
- 29:08that, if I would have been drinking something, I would have spit it
- 29:12out. But I just remember, huh. I don't know if it is.
- 29:18I don't want to I don't know what I don't want to do.
- 29:23You can maybe ask my handsome son in love about that, but I don't
- 29:30need to know. Just knowing that its dynamic is more than this mom ever
- 29:36needed. I mean, it's better than bland. That's all I'm saying now
- 29:42to the person the person who sent the message about stop investigating. I'm gonna
- 29:51say, as a mom, I would even go to the end of the
- 29:55earth to find out what happened to the dynamic penis. And now we're gonna
- 30:06keep going. So it was Tommy's birthday yesterday? Oh, happy birthday,
- 30:11Tommy. I think it was yesterday. The days are blending every time every
- 30:17time I see Tommy's name. When I joined the thirteenth, You're I have
- 30:21to stop because I know a Tommy Jones and I'm always like, wait,
- 30:25is that her? I'm like, oh wait, no, there's more than
- 30:26one Tommy Jones in this world. I know what Tommy lead You men in
- 30:36Black Essex say, isn't that an actor? And yeah, yeah, okay,
- 30:42that was being an ass. Okay, sorry monkey, but ignore me.
- 30:48I didn't say that. Okay, that's okay. Well, now we're
- 30:52going to get into Chase's update, and I want to start with the timeline
- 30:56that JT is going to share. And this timeline is the weekend that Chase
- 31:03was last seen. Oh yeah, I might have to pull that up on
- 31:08my screen too, because these old eyes cannot see that. And you would
- 31:15think I would grew You can full screen, if you hover over the feat
- 31:22Oh, now I can see it there. You got it. Cool.
- 31:25So Friday, June thirtieth, Chase played in a softball game in Crosby,
- 31:30Texas. Several of his family members were there. One thing I want to
- 31:34say here when talking to I've talked to ten twelve people now, but talking
- 31:41to several of Chase's friends, one of the friends told me that he is
- 31:47envious of the relationship Chase had with his parents. He goes, as you
- 31:52know, an adult, he goes the fact that his dad and his sister
- 31:57went to watch him play softball well in ARECT League. That's really cool because
- 32:06I swam and played water polo. I can tell you my father never saw
- 32:10me swim and never saw me play water polo. My mom maybe did once
- 32:15or twice. But they were always at my brother's football and baseball games,
- 32:22which is fine because my grandmother was always there. But I thought that was
- 32:24really cool that this thirty one year old male told me he goes, yeah,
- 32:30he goes. I was kind of envious because he wasn't a mama's boy,
- 32:35so to speak, or a daddy's boy. They just they were a
- 32:39good family and they loved each other. So I think that's really cool,
- 32:43and I think as a parent, it made me realize I need to make
- 32:46sure I support my adult children as much as I did when they were children,
- 32:52because I don't think about that. Of course, neither one of my
- 32:55children played sports, but I should still support them and the other things that
- 33:00they do. Yeah, I mean, that's that's one thing that I don't
- 33:04take for granted and appreciate, you know, is that Papa and Mama Bruce
- 33:07Crime. They they are extremely supportive and have been since day one, so
- 33:13day zero really and still continue to be so, and not in an enabling
- 33:19way, but like in a very supportive you know what I mean. Like
- 33:21there's a difference between enabling and being supportive, and they're just very good at
- 33:23it. So yeah, like Mama Bear, which is what we call my
- 33:28mom because are what our maiden, my maiden name was. She is who
- 33:32got me into true crime, And you know, she would be in these
- 33:37chats talking with us and she would be telling but Mariska would have done it
- 33:43this way and I'd be like, Mom, I'm not Olivia than Son.
- 33:45He can't. Sorry. So then on Saturday, oh go ahead, no,
- 33:54no, I was literally gonna say, so what was next? And
- 33:57you were going there? So there we go. Oh so on Saturday,
- 34:00July first, and I want to say real quick, this information all comes
- 34:06from the police reports that are starting to come in from my Freedom of Information
- 34:10Act request. Okay, so this is actually in police files. Okay,
- 34:17just want to make that clear. So on July first, Chase was seen
- 34:22outside his apartment with Champ and he also texted with a friend around ten pm
- 34:28on Saturday. Okay. Then on Sunday, yeah, and if you see
- 34:35my dates don't work, that should be Sunday, July second, Chase was
- 34:38seen at the apartment complex. He was helping a neighbor move items into a
- 34:44U haul, so somebody was moving out. The interesting thing there the two
- 34:49witnesses, they could not one hundred percent say it was Sunday. They went
- 34:55back and forth between Saturday and Sunday. Part of me wants to say it
- 35:02was on Saturday. The reason why his family tried to call and text him
- 35:07on Sunday and there was no response and there was no activity on that phone
- 35:13on Chase's in after Saturday. But the police style's say Sunday. That's where
- 35:19they landed with it. So that's where we're gonna land with it, Okay,
- 35:22Okay. So then on Monday, July third, when they started looking
- 35:30at bank statements, Chase used his debit card at a Shell station in Houston.
- 35:37But as we all know, he could have used that card on Saturday
- 35:40and it not posted till Monday, right, And we'll get into that more
- 35:47with our next slides, because the police did not do a great job of
- 35:54looking into that. But Chase was also supposed to be in traffic and he
- 36:00did not show up for traffic court that day. So now the next day
- 36:08is when family and a couple of friends went to Chase's apartment looking for him.
- 36:15Emily keep on going. Then on July fifth, I mean, I
- 36:20give his family and friends credit. They just jumped right in. They did
- 36:24not wait. They were like, yeah, this is not normal. He
- 36:30did not respond to text from his mom, his dad, his sister,
- 36:35his besties. They were like, we're going find out what's going on.
- 36:38So they started putting up flyers immediately. So July fifth, now, I'm
- 36:46not gonna call off the apartment complex this name. I'm gonna be nice.
- 36:51They forced them to take them down, and I'm just gonna tell you I
- 37:00would not live in that complex. I would not live in any property that
- 37:06they own. They did not cooperate with the private investigator, family or police.
- 37:13They were a roadblock. I think you should call them out, to
- 37:17be honest with you, because I would never Yeah, Chunk is right,
- 37:21I would put them on blast. Well, but okay, well let me
- 37:25rephrase that. I'm not putting them out on blast now because I have sent
- 37:30them a letter asking them why is it a corporate policy? If I don't
- 37:37hear back, or if I don't like their answer, I'm gonna blast them
- 37:42all over the place. I am giving them the opportunity to defend themselves because
- 37:46maybe it was just one person in the office that was that way. Maybe
- 37:51it wasn't a corporate policy. Yeah, it could have been either a really
- 37:54crappy person or a person having a bad day. But that's a pretty bad
- 37:58day, Like that's that's a aliens are invading in the world's exploding kind of
- 38:01a bad day. Yeah. I mean, I don't work in that industry,
- 38:07but I happen to know someone who does, and I can't imagine that
- 38:13he would not go to his corporate office and say, hey, this happened.
- 38:16This person's missing, let's do this. How about this? Even the
- 38:22family wanted to because this happened July fourth, they wanted to keep the apartment
- 38:27in case he came back. Still charged him for rent the next month.
- 38:30Couldn't you have come him a month? No? No, they won't because
- 38:37you move into properties. I remember back when I lived in an apartment,
- 38:39there would be all these concessions, Oh, you can have a month free
- 38:45kind of think. Couldn't he have given him a month free? So you
- 38:50know, those are predatory apartment complexes, and I don't like those. I
- 38:53have no patience for those. It's like predatory health insurance. I don't like
- 38:58it. I have no patience for it. I'm trying to give them the
- 39:01opportunity to respond. If they don't, I'll not all landlord's Kelly. But
- 39:08yeah, there's a lot of them that are. But then I will put
- 39:12them out. So there's that. Now we jump to Thursday, September twenty
- 39:17first. During that time, the police were doing a lot of interviews,
- 39:22they were doing some investigation. But these are really things that lit my mind
- 39:28up. So those are the dates I put on here when I created this.
- 39:31Someone attempted to use Chase's debit card at in East Houston ATM so,
- 39:39hold on, it was not Chase. They did get the video footage and
- 39:45it was not Chase. Okay, but they have the video footage. M
- 39:51H. I've put in the request for it, so waiting to see if
- 39:53we get it. Why. You know what, I'm going to ask a
- 39:57lot of obvious questions, which is the reason, why did they find did
- 40:01they contact this person? Did they find the person? No, it is
- 40:08they did not put in their notes. Now the documents are still coming in,
- 40:15so we've gotten seventy nine pages so far. Don't want to say they
- 40:19didn't look into it as of right now. I know you were reading.
- 40:22You read the reports the investigators did. As of now, there's no documentation
- 40:28that they did anything besides look at the video photos and say it was in
- 40:30Chase. They did not investigate more that we see right now. It could
- 40:37come in later documents, so I try. I'm trying to be very careful
- 40:42not throw them under the bus quite yet. We should get the next round
- 40:47of documents next week and then it's going to be Katie Bar Katie Bar the
- 40:52door. All I'm saying is that this is not a shoe, but I
- 40:57am going to let you know what it is. So okay, yep,
- 41:01yep, I'm going to keep out. I will wait. I'll wait till
- 41:05you unleash me. Yeah. So that's kind of where I'm at. And
- 41:08just so everybody knows when I say East Houston, since I grew up there,
- 41:14a lot of people may be confused. The east side of Houston is
- 41:19north Shore, Channel View, Crosby, Baytown, and some other little areas.
- 41:23We all had Houston zip codes except for Crosby and Baytown, but it's
- 41:29considered the east side of town. We were past the Budweiser brewery past there,
- 41:37so you could smell the hops in the air growing up. But anyway,
- 41:40that's a different like you have a Budweiser brewery down the road from you,
- 41:44and so do I. Yeah. So then next eighteen, a tip
- 41:52came in that a body may be present in a pond in East Houston.
- 41:58So the tip came in and it was interesting. Somebody saw on Google Photos
- 42:04or Google earth Map photo thing this pond and they said it looked like there
- 42:09was a body there. Now they did do something. So if you see
- 42:15on Wednesday, the thirtieth, they actually searched that pond and no evidence of
- 42:21a body was found. Now, the interesting thing was the person called the
- 42:27tip in the photo was taken in November twenty seventeen, So if there was
- 42:32a body there in November, tip came in in May, animals, all
- 42:38kinds of things. But they did not find any evidence. But the interesting
- 42:44thing about that, unless they didn't document it or we haven't gotten it yet,
- 42:50they did not use kandiaver dogs or do that type of search to see
- 42:54if there was bones or remains. They just did a cursory search, or
- 43:00they didn't document. Well, when I hear the phrase cursor research, what
- 43:05I imagine is like eight dudes who usually are Department of trans no offense.
- 43:10It's not your fault, it's the system, Just like transportation workers who were
- 43:15just staring at a pothole and looking at it, going, that's a pothole,
- 43:21and then they walk away, unless, like I said, less,
- 43:25we're getting more documents. There was four names listed, so they didn't even
- 43:30have eight. Of course, not an entire pond, and we're sending four
- 43:37dudes. Yeah, so but hey, they looked. So I'm given on
- 43:44that, and I'm really hoping as more stuff comes in that I'll be able
- 43:46to put my foot in my mouth and say I was wrong. It just
- 43:51hadn't come in yet. And I almost didn't share this information, but I
- 43:54decided, you know what, scrow them. They should have sent it to
- 43:58me all at once, I was gonna say, but then she forgot that
- 44:00I was on the other side of this, and I am going to stay
- 44:04stupid stuff. Yeah. Now, then July sixteenth, twenty nineteen, you
- 44:10noticed there's a whole year there on warning year. So Chase's family received a
- 44:17tip saying what happened to Chase was common knowledge and that there was a female
- 44:22adult dancer who set up a fate drug buy and that Chase was killed during
- 44:28that. Now, whether it's a rumor, tip whatever, once again no
- 44:37investigation. And supposedly this they called her a female adult dancer. They called
- 44:45her an adult entertainer, and then they called her a stripper. And I'm
- 44:49like, Kenna, say she was a dancer. But so she was a
- 44:52dancer. Supposedly she lived in the same complex. And I actually, with
- 44:57talking to the people I've been interviewing, two of the people I talked to
- 45:01mentioned this, So it is a rumor or something that has gone around that
- 45:09would have happened. She lived in the same complex apparently, so if he
- 45:16was walking with this dog and was going to just drop it off, I
- 45:21could see maybe doing that because Chambs's little buddy. But I'm disturbed by the
- 45:29fact there's no investigation, no search warrants, because one of the individuals I
- 45:36talked to said, well, yeah, but it's common knowledge that she's done
- 45:39it before. Yeah, and it's just oddly specific, you know what I
- 45:47mean. It is like, it is just oddly specific that it is a
- 45:53it's a it's a it's it's a dancer who lives in that exact same neighborhood
- 45:59or apartment complex set up. It just so is so oddly specific and appropriate
- 46:05in terms of a person who could do it. Well. Yeah, so
- 46:14yeah, I, like I said, I'm trying. I grew up there.
- 46:20I know a couple of people that work in that Sheriff's department. They're
- 46:22not a bad group of people. They are understaffed. But god, if
- 46:29this was a blonde, good looking girl, you can't tell me they wouldn't
- 46:32have done a lot more. Now, if it was me, they would
- 46:37have probably been like Yeah, No, she's too much trouble. But I
- 46:42mean, do you remember when she was growing up? I think not.
- 46:46Do you not remember the trouble she calls her parents? Hey, I never
- 46:52got arrested in my hometown. Never. I mean, I'm going back there
- 46:59that said in my hometown. So long gonna say, Terry, you've been
- 47:07told that you should go undercover at a strip club. Oh, Jeff,
- 47:13how do you feel about that? That's what I'm saying, And HH would
- 47:17probably be on board with it, is long as I wasn't the one stripping,
- 47:23because people would be asking for their money back or they would pay me
- 47:30to get dressed. One of the first things Franco said, I have to
- 47:35I'd have to scroll up a little bit. One of the first things Franco
- 47:37said was like, you do not look like a grandma. And yes,
- 47:43Captain remembered. I did train dancers back in the day, but I didn't
- 47:46strip. I just train them on how to dance and move their bodies.
- 47:51I kept my clothes on because nobody wanted to see. Oh wow, one
- 47:57button at a time. Scharene nip nip, nop, nop, nope nope.
- 48:06So then same here, same here. I'm sure. I'm sharing my
- 48:20screen right and I think my sound Uh so this is appropriate? You tell
- 48:24me part Lisa, that is okay, continue on. So I find this
- 48:34extremely interesting and frustrating. I wish I would have put the dates in here
- 48:39of when they got the cell phone records, but it wasn't until August third,
- 48:44twenty nineteen. Mind you, Chase went missing July twenty seventeen. They
- 48:50got the records way before August twenty nineteen. But that's when they went to
- 48:57the location where Chase and a friend's phones pinged on Saturday. That is two
- 49:04flipping years. And they did a cursory search, took some photos, and
- 49:14that was it. Didn't do a search with dogs. We have Texas equa
- 49:20search who is very famous in Texas. A lot of people know about them.
- 49:24They help a lot. Why did you not reach out and say,
- 49:30hey, ping tear, we don't know anything for sure, but could you
- 49:35come out. I can't imagine they would have said no. Two years and
- 49:42we're gonna I'm gonna ask you all to put a pin in it. Remember
- 49:45about the friend whose phone pinged with Chase, because our next slides we're going
- 49:51to get into that. See, they do they Tim and the group are
- 49:57amazing, and I would if he would call and say, hey, would
- 50:00you like to come with us one day and go out? And I would
- 50:05be like, I'm all there. I'm part of our community emergency response team.
- 50:10I got my go back, got my boots, I got all my
- 50:13stuff. We should get him on the show. We should, And I
- 50:19wonder, honestly it would be interesting to get him on the show to talk
- 50:22about kind of number one, what he does and how we can support him,
- 50:25but also what would he have done? Right? I would love to
- 50:30know, Yeah, because I guarantee you he would have a plan for this,
- 50:34probably right off the top of his head. Oh. Now, they
- 50:37did do one small search near the apartment complex okay where Chase lived. Unless
- 50:47they did more and it's just not documented the documentation. Like I said,
- 50:52I'm really hoping when we get more in that it's better because I'm hoping these
- 50:59guys didn't go to school in north Shore or I went, because they might
- 51:02need to go back on their documentation skills. I will say that their spelling
- 51:07was very good. Didn't find a lot of typos. Oh, put it
- 51:12back. I want to do that last line. I want you to look.
- 51:15So that was August third, twenty nineteen. The last documentation by law
- 51:22enforcement in the file besides a document a documentation like two months after this that
- 51:30says nothing's happening. Was the last documentation on Chase's case that we've received to
- 51:38date. I have a huge problem with that. I know the case has
- 51:46gone cold, thank you. I was filling a little self conscious because I
- 51:54was going to reach out to Brandy the chart goddess, until the chart got
- 52:00I needed some tutorials. I think you did a really good job. Do
- 52:07you want to go here next? Yes? Oh? Can you there?
- 52:13You go? Would you want me to bring up can you put it in
- 52:16presentation modes so it does a line at a time. Yeah. That makes
- 52:22it a little easier for these old lady ayes. So, now as we
- 52:28get into these I want to give y'all a little bit of information before we
- 52:35jump into important dates. Now. As I've said, on July fourth,
- 52:40Jason's family went to his apartment to look for him. They found some things
- 52:45in his apartment that were disturbing and a surprise to them. For those of
- 52:51you who don't know about this case and are just here for the first time,
- 52:57they found his apartment locked, heide a key was gone. He was
- 53:00known to keep a key above the door. Guys, I did the same
- 53:05thing when I lived in that area. I literally above my door. How
- 53:12I'm still alive today, I don't know, but it's something that we did.
- 53:15But anyway, the family and friends they broke in through a backsliding glass
- 53:20door. When they got in, they did find evidence of drugs in the
- 53:23apartment. Okay, on the coffee table was rolling papers, a little ball
- 53:30of weed, along with some other items. And we'll get into that a
- 53:34bit more in a minute. But they also discovered a money counting machine,
- 53:39empty shipping containers that smelled of weed, and some shipping labels. Now,
- 53:45there were no large amounts of money or large amounts of drugs found in the
- 53:49apartment. They'd have a really hard time countering the argument that because they found
- 53:55that, that's why the search has been intense. That's all I'll leave it
- 54:00at that. That's my thought. That's my thought is as well. And
- 54:09Chase had a bullet proofess inside the apartment, and he owned at least one
- 54:15shotgun, which he got when his grandfather passed away. I mean, guys,
- 54:20if it was a major drug player. He would have a lot more
- 54:23guns. This is Texas. If he was just a citizen, he'd have
- 54:30a lot more guns. I mean I have three yeah, right, all
- 54:36right, what are you trying to say? No, I'm kidding now,
- 54:37I mean I have a shotgun. I have a pistol. And then we
- 54:42have h H's dad was a police officer and he has his dad's old service
- 54:47revolver. We don't even have bullets for it, but we have a gun.
- 54:52It's it's fascinating to me. And I'm not saying that this was the
- 54:55case, but I'm just going to kind of hit just the like a mouth
- 55:00side soapbox, that something to that degree, A small thing of weed,
- 55:05A yes, some money accounting, Yes, there was stuff there, but
- 55:08that does not lessen the importance of a human life exactly. And that's what
- 55:15it doesn't. It doesn't. And that's what I've said before. So the
- 55:19way police in law enforcement look at people in the drug industry or in the
- 55:27sex trade, they're still humans. There's still someone's kid. And we're talking
- 55:34Chase was involved in this like maybe six months, eight months. He was
- 55:37a good kid, graduated high school, great athlete, worked in the iron
- 55:43industry, add ties to his family, his communities, So he's still a
- 55:50human. Yeah, I mean, how many times do we look back?
- 55:58And it's a cliche and a trope at this point, but how many times
- 56:00do we look back and because of a certain a certain choice of victim,
- 56:07do people go for far longer than they ever should? Like ever, like
- 56:14Charles Albright, who is the eyeball killer. He focused on sex workers and
- 56:22and he got away with it far longer than if he chose. You know
- 56:25that nineteen year old sorority girls. And I'm not saying that one's more important
- 56:30than the other, obviously, what I'm saying is that they're the they're equals.
- 56:34Humans are humans, and we should not Obviously this country has a hard
- 56:37time saying that some people are lesser than others, which it's a whole nother
- 56:43that's a bigger than a mouse box, so perch. But yeah, so
- 56:46I just it's ridiculous. Now. I will say the family members that were
- 56:52there were shocked. I talked to one of the sisters who was there.
- 56:57She was surprised, she did. She had never seen marijuana before. It's
- 57:04so Chase grew up in a really good family, close knit family, so
- 57:09they were surprised. The friends were aware that Chase had gotten involved in it,
- 57:16because they are pretty darn sure he was working with a friend that they
- 57:22all went to high school with. And I've told myself, I'm not going
- 57:28to say his name today because I've got messages out to him, letters out
- 57:34to him trying to hear his side. I don't want to tarnish his name
- 57:39with in the windows and rumors. So I'm going to give him another week
- 57:43or two, and then after that all bets are off. So but he
- 57:52is the friend who helped Chase work on a part farm in California to help
- 57:58Chase make some money after losing his job. Yes, it's legal in California,
- 58:02and we are talking about marijuana, not anything harder. But I think
- 58:09of nothing more fun, I am gonna say, And we'll get to it
- 58:15a little bit more. But the friend basically denies having any involvement with the
- 58:22drug trade. But how did you know there referring to work on a plat
- 58:25farm if you know nothing about it, right, it's not like they uh
- 58:31well, I mean maybe they do have, like the fires with the full
- 58:35tabs. I don't know. I've been an hr maybe it is, And
- 58:38I don't know, how do you go apply for that job? You got
- 58:44to h they have, don't They have higher like record like requirements than most
- 58:52companies. Certainly. In fact, I would say that weed companies and growers
- 58:57have higher. Number One, they're penalized for like far more. They're also
- 59:01charged far more. But I think they have waame higher requirements than even like
- 59:06the oil companies in this country. So I mean they would have to have
- 59:10some kind of I'm guessing that there's a background check. I'm guessing I'm guessing
- 59:15there's an HR. I'm digging into some of those. Yeah, there's some
- 59:22underground stuff going on. Oh so it's not as legit as we think it
- 59:30is. And there's some pretty strong evidence that some cartels are involved, even
- 59:37with the potforms, which isn't surprising. No, no, oh, well,
- 59:45I answers that question and demolishes my thoughts. Yeah, I'm just gonna
- 59:51saying I don't think they do, not to the extent. But I wanted
- 59:55to just talk that a little bit more because now we're going to get into
- 1:00:00these dates that are important now. As we continue this investigation, I will
- 1:00:06continue to share more dates as they come in JT. We'll just continue sharing
- 1:00:15them. So let's pop up the first one, all right, and hopefully
- 1:00:20I clicked done it. So during the investigation, it was discovered that back
- 1:00:28in April of twenty seventeen, Chase and a friend had money sees at Dallas
- 1:00:34Airport over one hundred thousand dollars. They were flying from Texas to California.
- 1:00:42They had it in their carry on bags and they got caught with it,
- 1:00:45and they couldn't give an explanation as to why they had this money. Chase,
- 1:00:52being the sweet you could tell, innocent and none knowledgeable guy, he
- 1:00:59said, oh, well, my uncle gave it to me so that I
- 1:01:02can flip houses. Well guess what they called the uncle and the uncles like,
- 1:01:07huh what? So real quick, Julie, is the font? Is
- 1:01:15the font too small? I can make it bigger? Yes? Please?
- 1:01:19Are you okay with me making it bigger? Oh? Please? God?
- 1:01:21Yes, maybe I can't. I was like you, yeah, let me
- 1:01:36just do it for Actually, that looks bigger. Anyways, Okay, we'll
- 1:01:42just go We'll go side by slide. Okay, hopefully that's a little bit
- 1:01:47bigger. Okay, let's say say that or zoom in if you can,
- 1:01:51oh can? Oh hey look okay, okay, so hopefully that's better.
- 1:02:00So what's interesting? They were not detained. They just took the money because
- 1:02:06they couldn't prove that anything bad was happening with it. And they give you
- 1:02:09the opportunity to file documents showing why you have it and to get it back.
- 1:02:15Well, didn't get it back, but I just think that was very
- 1:02:20interesting. This happened in April eighteenth. He went missing July fourth. Sorry,
- 1:02:28I'm not loving my free exam, thank you. So I think,
- 1:02:35Nick, that is very interesting. I don't know why. I know,
- 1:02:40talked about it with the investigators. We agree you too, JT. This
- 1:02:45has something to do with it, most likely because money is something that you
- 1:02:52don't mess with in that world. Yeah, no, not at all,
- 1:02:55And one hundred k is nothing to sneeze at. So yeah, okay,
- 1:03:00let's do the next one. Oh, come on, Oh, it doesn't
- 1:03:08like. It doesn't like I'm gonna have to like zoom in and out.
- 1:03:14Okay, So that's fine. No, I did them together. So is
- 1:03:19this not interesting? On his bank card? Look at all of the flights
- 1:03:23on Southwest April nineteenth. April twenty sixth, May, eleventh, May seventeenth,
- 1:03:30June twentieth, missing July fourth, So it's almost like he lost the
- 1:03:42money and then they said, well, now you have to do these things
- 1:03:47for us, and he did those things for them, and then they said,
- 1:03:52we're still pissed. Yeah, because I'm like, you wouldn't fly back
- 1:03:54and forth that much if you're working on the farm, right, Yeah,
- 1:04:01no, no, that's not the idea. Yeah, So then if you
- 1:04:05pop up the next one. I found this to be interesting as well.
- 1:04:13April, May and June. There's multiple transactions for food and other things.
- 1:04:17Texas, California, and Las Vegas. Las Vegas is just a hop,
- 1:04:25skip and a jump from California, it is, and I can tell you
- 1:04:32after living in Vegas for four years there's a lot of bad stuff that goes
- 1:04:36down in that town and young attractive guy potentially cash drug money. I mean,
- 1:04:47there's just a whole lot that makes my head spin on that. Yeah.
- 1:04:54Yeah, So what's so this just goes on July fourth, family enters
- 1:05:03the apartment. If you want to also share your screen, so a photo
- 1:05:10was taken on July fourth of Chase's coffee table. That's the top photo on
- 1:05:16July fourth. Look at the photo below, which is taken two days later.
- 1:05:24I want to see this is not like the other. I want to
- 1:05:27see if anyone notices things, if they want to put it in the comments,
- 1:05:31because the very first thing is very obvious. The phone is different top
- 1:05:38photo. It's a white phone, missing money, Yes, different phone.
- 1:05:49You also notice the ledger is upside down, the letter is missing, book
- 1:05:59is backwards. Yes, thispit cup is missing too. See. Yeah,
- 1:06:06so guys, there is Here's the thing to keep in mind about this.
- 1:06:13The family locked the door, so somebody had a key or took the hide
- 1:06:25a key and got in and did these things. Oh, the car keys
- 1:06:29are missing. It's a key fob to get in. It's a key fob.
- 1:06:33His truck was in the garage. I mean, looking at this,
- 1:06:38it looks like he was rolling a joint and went out, you know,
- 1:06:45to go walk the dog. A friend pulled up and said, hey,
- 1:06:47let's run, go grab a bike to eat lives right there, you know,
- 1:06:51buy a couple of things. But what I find very interesting they wanted
- 1:06:57that white phone. If you're going to take a phone, why even leave
- 1:07:01one? Why not just take the phone? Why leave another one? Now?
- 1:07:09There was no simcard in the phone. Yeah. See, I think
- 1:07:15whoever came in was like, oh that's an iPhone, I want that or
- 1:07:19what was on the phone. And we'll get into it later. We've got,
- 1:07:26you know, information coming in about the records they found. But I
- 1:07:30find it very interesting somebody came into that apartment and did this after the family
- 1:07:40relocked the apartment, filed a missing person's report and this happened. So who
- 1:07:47had access to this? Well? And the other thing is like either it
- 1:07:51was missus doubtfire or the spit cup belonged to the person who broke in.
- 1:07:57Why why else would you remove a spit cup? Like, what's the point
- 1:08:00if it was chases? Why does it matter? Late? Yeah, and
- 1:08:06nowhere in any of the documentation that we've received, because I think they had
- 1:08:14family and friends come in and go through the apartment, they didn't do any
- 1:08:17fingerprinting, DNA collection, nothing. Is this not basic? One? Oh?
- 1:08:29One? Is it not? It's almost like they were like, oh,
- 1:08:34so many people have been in here, it's contaminated. Let's just not
- 1:08:38do it. But I'm like, why don't you just say Okay, Mom,
- 1:08:42you were here, Dad, you were here, sister, friend,
- 1:08:44friend, give me your fingerprints, give me your DNA, rule them out,
- 1:08:48and then check to see who's the odd one out. What does it
- 1:08:53match. They didn't do any of that, or if they did, they
- 1:09:00didn't document it. But nowhere does it say called in crime scene texts.
- 1:09:03It's like they saw it and they're like, yeah, and so this I
- 1:09:15I don't kudos to his family for taking these photos. This to me is
- 1:09:24one hundred percent proof in my mind. Mh they didn't do what they were
- 1:09:30supposed to. Yeah, no, no, not at all. I mean,
- 1:09:35number one, you don't. You don't. I don't remember what the
- 1:09:39word is, but you don't mess with a crime scene, like don't let
- 1:09:43a bunch of Yeah, I don't understand this is I mean, this is
- 1:09:46lazy, is what this is to me. I mean I can see them
- 1:09:49saying, oh, but now that five people have been in here, the
- 1:09:53family. So that's five people's fingerprints you get in DNA. It's not that
- 1:09:58many. It's not hard to it's not like this was a public place with
- 1:10:03hundreds of thousands of people. This kid from hotel rooms, right, So
- 1:10:12again found that very interesting. So we can go back to the time.
- 1:10:16But this, to me, is just glaring. Mm hmm, no,
- 1:10:25I agree, why not showing up? Okay there, and then there should
- 1:10:32just be one more on this Yeah, there should be one more on this
- 1:10:35page. Oh switched out and moved. Okay, here we go. That's
- 1:10:41okay. So then on July tenth, the investigator, it was a private
- 1:10:45investigator that the family hired, interviewed a friend who was with him when the
- 1:10:53money was seized at the Dallas Airport. Now the sprint tells the investigator that
- 1:10:57he got Chase the job working on the pop farm, and the friend said
- 1:11:02he had nothing to do with drugs, but he has an arrest for them.
- 1:11:09But he has an arrest for drugs, and he knew people at the
- 1:11:13drug farm to get him the job. And I have talked to two people
- 1:11:20that were not friends with Chase, but are around the same age. They're
- 1:11:26kids of somebody I know. I told him the person's name. They're like,
- 1:11:30oh, yeah, he was a big drug dealer. It is common
- 1:11:32knowledge. The guy's drug dealer. But he told the police, Oh,
- 1:11:36I ain't done no drugs. I am a self made millionaire by the time
- 1:11:42I'm twenty three, because I have a clothing line and I sold a total
- 1:11:46of five hundred pieces. Funny thing about my clothing line, it's more like
- 1:11:51fifty. We'll go with it. So, yeah, I just found that.
- 1:11:57Here's the other thing that I don't understand. The police did not call
- 1:12:00him out on this, of course, not now the police reports that we
- 1:12:05have or the summaries we are waiting on the disc with the actual audio and
- 1:12:11video. I'm really hoping they did, and they just didn't put it in
- 1:12:15the summary because I have to tell you, with me summarizing all these interviews,
- 1:12:20you summarizing interviews, it's hard, you know. Oh, he was
- 1:12:27also in the friend's wedding, and I'm going to just I've had a glass
- 1:12:35of wine. Now. The friend has unfriended Chase on Facebook, not returning
- 1:12:43my calls emails. I have mailed seven letters to his last known addresses,
- 1:12:48went and left message postcards at his house. Have reached out to his girlfriend,
- 1:12:55who accepted my friend request on Facebook, sent her a message, unfriended
- 1:13:00me and blocked me. M So like, this doesn't I'm not I'm not
- 1:13:10saying he did anything to Chase. Just want to know y'all were in the
- 1:13:15same world. There's documented proof that y'all were in the same world. You
- 1:13:19were arrested a year ago with lots of pounds of marijuana in Texas, so
- 1:13:27you were in that world. I'm not saying he did anything to his friend.
- 1:13:32I'm just saying tell us you're side of the story. I mean,
- 1:13:36I've seen the hangover. But but other than that, and on a more
- 1:13:40serious note, you know something that I do say on a regular basis is
- 1:13:44like silence is one of the loudest noises of them all. It is you
- 1:13:47know, you know by you're forcing silence by defriending, blocking, et cetera.
- 1:13:55And to me, that says you know that of just why be smarter,
- 1:14:04be better? I mean, and if you truly cared about him.
- 1:14:09We have an anonymous tip line call in and say, hey, give us
- 1:14:14information, and I don't want you to use my name. And this person
- 1:14:21has children, has an ex wife now and a girlfriend who has kids.
- 1:14:27You have a family. You're a family man. You've spent the night.
- 1:14:32You spent the night at Chase's house when you were in high school, you
- 1:14:38went to his house, You've talked to his parents, you know his parents.
- 1:14:45How dare you let's move on before I blow my top, so they
- 1:14:56interview another friend on July twentieth. This is a friend that would take care
- 1:15:01of Champ when Chase had to, you know, go out of town or
- 1:15:05do things. However, he stopped taking care of Champ when Chase said,
- 1:15:12Hey, I'm packaging and shipping marijuana from California to Texas. The friend tried
- 1:15:16to tell him get out, why you can. It's not a good thing
- 1:15:20to do, and he stopped watching Champ. I found that, you know,
- 1:15:30he did the right thing. You know, you try to tell your
- 1:15:32friend to stop doing it. But they also interviewed another friend on the same
- 1:15:40day who told police that a couple of months back, Chase told him that
- 1:15:45he was scared as a couple of guys rafting, which leads me to wonder
- 1:15:51if that's why he had a bulletproof vest. Mm hmm. You get money
- 1:15:59taken from you, so I didn't put it on here. But Chase also
- 1:16:03got robbed and lost about sixty thousand dollars. I don't know if it was
- 1:16:09cash or product cool months leading up to this, So a lot of money
- 1:16:16done, a lot of product. There's you know, some potential for some
- 1:16:21backlash on that, so I could definitely see why he was looking over his
- 1:16:26shoulder and thought someone was after him. Yeah, oh absolutely, So let's
- 1:16:32go to the next one. Never never, Now, I hate that this
- 1:16:41was on my birthday, but it was so activities showed up on Chase's Facebook
- 1:16:45account and his Twitter account. The family had to alert the police to this.
- 1:16:53The police didn't find it. The family alerted them, and the family
- 1:16:57agreed it was not the way Chase talked or verbiage. And I went and
- 1:17:02looked at one of the posts. It did not resemble what Chase had posted
- 1:17:10before, not saying it wasn't Chase, but I'm going to say it was
- 1:17:15not in his normal character. But I found it interesting that the family had
- 1:17:19to notify the police about it. Wouldn't the police put alerts on those things?
- 1:17:26No, well they didn't put alerts on fingerprints, So I know,
- 1:17:31I know, So let's do the next one. So before I go to
- 1:17:38the next one, So, I was talking to an ex girlfriend of Chase's
- 1:17:43and she does like I randomly do to my mom who passed away his Facebook
- 1:17:46page. I'll just leave her messages that I'm thinking about you. Hope everything's
- 1:17:49great where you are. She was still sending him things on Snapchat, and
- 1:17:55I still have my note right here because we're trying to do some papers.
- 1:18:00Seventy weeks ago May eleventh, twenty two, someone logged into Chase's Snapchat account
- 1:18:09and read the message what seventy weeks ago? Literally track the IP address.
- 1:18:15She's got the screenshot of it. So I've got this here because I'm going
- 1:18:20to try to report it to the official police again and see what they say.
- 1:18:26And that's why I have a post it here. I get the IP
- 1:18:30address three Snapchat you can't. You have to go through law enforcement. We've
- 1:18:34tried to do an information request, tried to see a family could do assigned
- 1:18:41data that he's missing. Just want to know the IP address because I checked
- 1:18:47with the family, they do not have the logins. Another interesting thing on
- 1:18:53Chase's Facebook account. When I started investigating this or before we just to do
- 1:19:00it end of June, I was able to see Chase's friend list. It's
- 1:19:05now been marked private. That's within the last couple of months. Investigation one
- 1:19:14oh one, subpoena or whatever it is. Facebook, Yeah, I mean
- 1:19:23wow, now, Facebook, Snapchat, none of them play really nice with
- 1:19:29law enforcement. They really don't want to give out the information, but give
- 1:19:33the IP address of where the person was located who logged into the account,
- 1:19:40because if it's Chase and he's living off the grid because they threatened his family,
- 1:19:46that'd be nice to know. If it is a friend who's just logging
- 1:19:53in to see if Chase is logged in, it'd be nice to know so
- 1:19:56that you're not making all these wild speculations, because, let me tell you,
- 1:19:59my brain has I even sent a friend request. I set up a
- 1:20:02Snapchat account and tried to friend him just to see what would happen, you
- 1:20:13know, So I'm just it just makes my head hurt. So yeah,
- 1:20:21let's zoom in so I can read that next one, and my throat's going
- 1:20:26bad. I hope Sharen thinks that's getting sexier, because I'm getting more manly
- 1:20:30for sure. August third, twenty seventeen, Please interview another friend who was
- 1:20:38close to Chase. He said he last saw Chase four or five days before
- 1:20:42he went missing. He stated that he found out when Chase's sister called him
- 1:20:46and told him that he was missing. He said he knew Chase was working
- 1:20:50on a marijuana farm in California, but that he himself was not involved in
- 1:20:56any drug dealings. Well, he's the one that it was discovered through cell
- 1:21:02phone records. He was with Chase on that day that Chase was last seen
- 1:21:08where they went and looked at the location. I find it. I find
- 1:21:13it amazing that they'll look through phone records to see if they can charge somebody
- 1:21:16with something, but they won't. Oh just wait, it's gonna get worse.
- 1:21:24It's on the next slide. But let me do this next one,
- 1:21:26September twentieth, Please receive a tip that Chase owed a guy money and that
- 1:21:31the guy killed him and dumped his body in the river. No name of
- 1:21:36the river was documented in the files, and there was no follow up on
- 1:21:42it. Nothing, no clarifying questions. They're one shit done or we haven't
- 1:21:47received the document yet. Let me remember to clarify that. Let's go to
- 1:21:54the next one, September twenty first. There, September twenty first. Yeah,
- 1:22:09someone attempted to use Chase's debit card, with which we already did that
- 1:22:13on the timeline, so we can skip that one, all right, guys,
- 1:22:19this one is batshit. So Chase's mom rented a po box and forwarded
- 1:22:25as mail smart on her, I wouldn't have thought of that. When she
- 1:22:29checked the mail. On February seventh, twenty eighteen, a birth certificate for
- 1:22:35someone named Kevin shows up in Chase's mail, but the birth certificate was not
- 1:22:41completely filled out, and they suspect it was a forgery. Once again,
- 1:22:48nothing in the police files that we've received so far said they looked into it
- 1:22:53to see if the person even was a real person, this Kevin person.
- 1:23:02Wouldn't you, because I can see if you're in that industry, you might
- 1:23:06need a fake FIR certificate so you can get fake identification to travel, because
- 1:23:11you don't want to travel under your own name when you look into that,
- 1:23:16Could it have possibly Could it have possibly been Chase trying to live off the
- 1:23:24grid in a different identity and he accidentally had it sent to his old address,
- 1:23:28and he was like, well, it's just going to go to an
- 1:23:29empty box or be sent back. Well I thought of that except for and
- 1:23:35I wasn't going to tell this till our next update. The drug dealer friend,
- 1:23:41he had his driver's license renewed this year. He had it sent to
- 1:23:45a house that he's never lived at, and the house was vacant at the
- 1:23:48time, so he just probably picked it up out of the mailbox. And
- 1:23:54I'm wondering if that is what this person was thinking they would do as well,
- 1:24:00that's what they did. They knew the place was empty, but they
- 1:24:02didn't know Mama was smart. A'most smart and had everything. I would have
- 1:24:10never have thought to do that. When I read that that, I was
- 1:24:13like, oh, smart mama. So but nothing investigated on that either,
- 1:24:19and the documents we have. Now, let's go to the next one,
- 1:24:23okay, So March ninth, twenty eighteen, please interview a friend who said
- 1:24:30he was close with Chase, knew Chase had gotten involved in the drug business
- 1:24:34and that Chase often referred to a boss man. Said he didn't exactly know
- 1:24:42who Chase worked for, but I talked to two more people today who also
- 1:24:49mentioned boss man. Boss man. Everybody so far is pointing to one person.
- 1:24:58And I'm not going to say who that par person is now because still
- 1:25:00want to investigate it more. But they're all pointing at one person, though.
- 1:25:08Next one, all right, next one, Oh, I like that,
- 1:25:12Shanka Bacon. Mama won Moron zero, Mama won Moron's none. We
- 1:25:20can go on and do the next one. Because we talked about that on
- 1:25:24the timeline, about the tip about the body next one. Yeah, duplicated
- 1:25:31stuff. So okay, May thirty. First, remember that little tip.
- 1:25:36I told you to put a pin in it. Police reinterviewed a friend who
- 1:25:42they interviewed August third. The friend changed their story and said, yes,
- 1:25:47he had gotten involved with the drug business and he helped Chase out several times
- 1:25:53with shipments and had gone to California with him, And he told police that
- 1:25:58he and Chase each had four or five cell phones. Now, we're not
- 1:26:06going to get into it now. And the reason why I'm waiting for the
- 1:26:10pictures of the shipping labels. Chase seems like he was a smart, smart
- 1:26:17guy, you know, graduated high school, worked in the ironfield. They
- 1:26:23shipped this product using their real names, him and the s friend real names.
- 1:26:30No, not to their addresses, but with their real names. Oh
- 1:26:39no. So I was like, okay, friend, First of all,
- 1:26:44you said you hadn't seen him in four or five days, but yet your
- 1:26:46phone pinged with his phone on the day he was last seen. Your name's
- 1:26:54on shipping labels with one of your addresses. I mean, dude, come
- 1:27:00on, So he is another person that is not responding to our request for
- 1:27:05conversations. And I've left messages with his grandmother, reached out to his mom,
- 1:27:14mailed another set of letters, no responses, So going to give it
- 1:27:19another week or two, and then his name is up for the world.
- 1:27:24And the reason why I'm doing that, if anyone is wondering, it's in
- 1:27:28the police records. It's in the public files. Their names are in there.
- 1:27:32I'm not giving anything away that's not public knowledge, right, But I
- 1:27:38am giving them the opportunity to talk to me because we're not saying they had
- 1:27:43anything to do with him going missing, but they knew more about his lifestyle
- 1:27:47and his drunk business, and they may know who did something. So let's
- 1:27:55go to the next one. And I thought, on four or five cell
- 1:27:58phones, I've had two before, and I couldn't keep up with two.
- 1:28:02How the heck could you keep up with four? Right? No way,
- 1:28:08no way. So July fifth, twenty eighteen, the police tried to reinterview
- 1:28:15the friend from May thirty. First, that friend declined to talk and no
- 1:28:21interview took place, and he stopped all contact with police and is not responding
- 1:28:30to any of our messages as well, and has spent some time in jail,
- 1:28:38So I mean, I'm gonna say, if you get caught again,
- 1:28:42maybe you want to trade some information to take some time off your sentence.
- 1:28:45Maybe so maybe March twenty sixth, twenty nineteen, the police met with family
- 1:28:54members and one member had been calling Chase's cell phone and after about six months
- 1:29:00the phone was disconnected. It stayed active. Somebody was paying the bill.
- 1:29:05And remember the SIM cards were not at Chase's apartments, so if you have
- 1:29:11that SIM card, you got a lot of data. The phone was briefly
- 1:29:15disconnected and it was reconnected for some time. No documentation, and we're waiting
- 1:29:30on cell phone records. Now what I don't know because if he had four
- 1:29:33or five cell phones, don't know which phones they actually were able to get
- 1:29:40records on. I can tell you in the files, I've seen three different
- 1:29:44phone numbers potentially for Chase. So it'll be interesting to see when we get
- 1:29:48the cell phone reports. So we will come back to that. Now.
- 1:29:53The next thing is crazy the friend that is not responding to me. One
- 1:30:00of the friends. That friend wrote a letter to his grandmother and told Chase's
- 1:30:11family you need to see that letter and you'll know what happened to Chase.
- 1:30:15Basically, that's me paraphrasing. Reached out to the grandmother, who said,
- 1:30:19no, there was nothing in that letter about Chase. You don't need to
- 1:30:24see it in the story. If that's the case, why wouldn't you just
- 1:30:35show the letter to give the family peace of mind. I'm sorry. If
- 1:30:41I had a letter that my son, my grandchild wrote to me, if
- 1:30:45a family who's missing a family member thought there was information in that letter,
- 1:30:50I'd be like, oh my god, here, let me dear ock this
- 1:30:54and give you a copy. Yes, people, I still write notes on
- 1:30:57notebook paper. I would be like, read it. Why would you not
- 1:31:03give it to him? So that, to me is just suspicious and won't
- 1:31:12take my calls. So July sixteenth, twenty nineteen, now the family received
- 1:31:20a message I believe it was via Facebook, stating that it was common knowledge
- 1:31:25of what happened to Chase. The gentleman said that a female adult entertainer who
- 1:31:29lived in that same apartment complex set him up guilding. As we talked about
- 1:31:33in the timeline, they did nothing with that. I put it here.
- 1:31:38That person said he was told that while he was incarcerated by somebody else.
- 1:31:46Once again, it was never looked into. It's not so in click through
- 1:31:55because we talk about them going to that good talked about that. Yeah,
- 1:32:08okay thoughts. As of now, we have not received any documentation on I
- 1:32:15know I've beat this horse dead, but the horse is not dead. So
- 1:32:20the police investigated or searched any rivers based on the tip. I did find
- 1:32:26the name of a river that a tip was called in that Chase was potentially
- 1:32:30dumped in. It's in the East Houston area. They did not search.
- 1:32:38The reason I didn't put it in the tip line is because the person retracted
- 1:32:45their statement. But yet I was told the same thing when I was talking
- 1:32:50to somebody, and it was somebody different than who told the police originally.
- 1:32:55So people are starting to talk. So I think it's interesting that they haven't
- 1:33:00done anything. So next, they didn't follow up on the adult entertainer and
- 1:33:11as complex, no interviews on names giving Dearn the interviews of people that Chase
- 1:33:18may have dealt with. There is sixteen names and phone numbers that they got
- 1:33:29from either people giving information Darren interviews or from what they could get off the
- 1:33:35physical phone that they downloaded. No documentation that they called any of these flipping
- 1:33:44people, and they have names that kystone k Bob shadow Man. These are
- 1:33:55people, obviously, people with nicknames, and it may be an interesting you
- 1:34:03know, they're in the drug business. Possibly, you know. I just
- 1:34:08now I will say it's been six years. I've called all of the phone
- 1:34:13numbers, left messages on the ones that had voice smail. But we I
- 1:34:19did submit the information yesterday to get backgrounds on all of them and find their
- 1:34:25last known addresses so we can send them letters. So I'm hoping we'll get
- 1:34:30that in the next week and I will be going to the post office again
- 1:34:34and mailing my little letters. Hey, and just so you know everybody,
- 1:34:39if you're worried about that, I'm just putting JT's address for the return address,
- 1:34:44so if they need to look for anybody, just kidding. That's why
- 1:34:48we have a box. Why we got to peel box right. No search
- 1:34:57warrants issued for any I Chase's social media accounts or not documented. How the
- 1:35:05f have you not done that? Especially when you know somebody sent logged into
- 1:35:15him within the month he went missing. How wouldn't you want to find him?
- 1:35:29I mean, let's just go on a crazy walld Tangent. What if
- 1:35:32it is Chase, wouldn't you want to find him, give his parents some
- 1:35:40closure, and then charge him with all the time that you've wasted. I
- 1:35:44mean, you'll haven't wasted that much time because I haven't done that much.
- 1:35:46But wouldn't you want like Sherry Peppini or whatever her name was, that got
- 1:35:53caught for following a false report, wouldn't you want to do that at least
- 1:35:57and to let the public know you can't do this app so next or we
- 1:36:10could be done that in the end. Is that the last side? So
- 1:36:20that is it for that Now? Like I said, I've interviewed or we've
- 1:36:29interviewed several family members in chases, and we've submitted additional requests for police records,
- 1:36:35also submitted requests to the FBI and the DEA around the money seizure,
- 1:36:41waiting to get those. So what I want to ask everybody until we have
- 1:36:46our next update, to please keep sharing all of our posts. We also
- 1:36:51started to go fundme. We have received our first donation. We're trying to
- 1:36:57raise the reward money because it's common knowledge if the person who's going to give
- 1:37:03us information is involved in the drug business. Ten thousand dollars is not going
- 1:37:08to get them talking, so need to raise a lot more money on that.
- 1:37:17Well I now have made I would have to pull out my note because
- 1:37:23I do track every call I make. I know for sure I've left four
- 1:37:26messages and sent emails. I've not had a return phone call. I've even
- 1:37:31called in tips and I've not had a callback. So no, they haven't,
- 1:37:41but I'm hoping that we will. I just left a message for one
- 1:37:47of a lieutenant who's actually a sergeant and who worked on the case. Agreed,
- 1:37:59agreed, may and they need to because if not, we're going to
- 1:38:02all get together and you can do crowd funding for things. We're going to
- 1:38:06do crowd criminal investigating, and we're going to all get together and do it
- 1:38:13ourselves, and we're going to do what they're not doing. So now,
- 1:38:20on our next live update we have we will have Chase's mom and dad in
- 1:38:29the studio with us for a Q and A. So that will be coming
- 1:38:33up in October, and I'm really excited about that because Debbie and Craig have
- 1:38:41just been absolutely amazing throughout this process. One thing I know from personal experience,
- 1:38:47I know it's a little bit different and our family having somebody who was
- 1:38:54murdered. The family didn't want to talk to anyone in the media, and
- 1:39:00I think it's a little bit different if your child's missing. But I also
- 1:39:02think after six years, it's got to be hard reliving this, talking about
- 1:39:09it, retelling the stories. So I really appreciate how kind they've been and
- 1:39:15everything we've asked of them they've done. And I had lunch with Chase's dad.
- 1:39:21It's a wonderful man, and I'm really excited that they're going to be
- 1:39:27on because they're going to be able to tell us a lot more about Chase
- 1:39:30and who he was as a person. And the one thing I can't wait
- 1:39:36to ask them. I heard today that Chase he was a good athlete,
- 1:39:42a little bit cocky. And I asked the person, like, cocky are
- 1:39:45confident and they were like, he would play softball and not wear a glove
- 1:39:50and still caught all the balls bare hand. I'm like, Okay, he
- 1:39:55has the right to be a little cocky. So excited to talk to them
- 1:40:00about that. So that's our Chase update. I know it was a lot,
- 1:40:10it was, but I mean it definitely put a lot in perspective,
- 1:40:12especially For me, I'm very visual and I think I mean everybody really,
- 1:40:16including myself, enjoyed your charts. So yeah, not as fancy as Miss
- 1:40:23Brandy's. And I will tell you guys, the seventy nine pages we have
- 1:40:28of police stuff, it's really hard picking what to share, what not to
- 1:40:34share, and kind of what we're looking at the investigators. If we hear
- 1:40:40it twice, it's important enough to talk about because we have found one red
- 1:40:45herring for sure. One of the friends who got things got him involved in
- 1:40:51the drug trade, tried to say that Chase was involved with a gang in
- 1:40:57Baytown. I spent three days going down a rabbit hole. I would almost
- 1:41:03stake my life on it. He was not. Now, did he maybe
- 1:41:08cross that gang if he tried to sell drugs in their territory, But he
- 1:41:12was not one of their gang members. If he was, he would have
- 1:41:15been the only white gang member out of all of their members. Not saying
- 1:41:20it's impossible, but I would say it's very, very unluckily. Yeah,
- 1:41:30So that's our Chase Black Camp date. And I want to say one last
- 1:41:35thing. They also need to find Champ. I know a lot of people
- 1:41:41are saying he's a dog and it's been six years, but Champ deserves justice
- 1:41:45too. I would like to know where his remains are because my heart means
- 1:41:50that too. Yeah, no, I agree. I agree. Well,
- 1:42:00we're gonna start getting to the next thing, but before that, I feel
- 1:42:08like keeping everybody engaged. Okay, well I go take care of uh oh
- 1:42:17okay. I was like, I was a little slow there on that one.
- 1:42:24So that means we can talk about JT while he's gone. So to
- 1:42:28tell y'all a little secret, when we're doing our podcast recording and we're not
- 1:42:31live and Chase JT runs off to the men's room, I sit there and
- 1:42:39talked smack about him behind his back and what's so great about it? He
- 1:42:43never hears about it until I sent him the video clippings after h H has
- 1:42:48done the editing, and he is always like, how could you say that
- 1:42:54to me? And I'm like, well, you should have been there.
- 1:42:58So while we're waiting for JT to come back, I would love if you
- 1:43:01would put in the comments if you have any thoughts of what maybe happened to
- 1:43:10Chase with what informations you've heard that we haven't thought of or looked into,
- 1:43:15because it truly I think normally you have an entire law enforcement. We've got
- 1:43:20two investigators me JT. You know, then the people were reaching out to
- 1:43:29what are we maybe not thinking of. We've pretty much ruled out that Chase
- 1:43:35would have taken his own life, because where would Champ be. Everybody has
- 1:43:43agreed that Chase loved Champs so much he would have never left Champ not taken
- 1:43:48care of. I agree he's got two friends that are sus very sus very
- 1:44:00us and if they're not, I'm not going to say they're involved with his
- 1:44:04disappearance. They know something because they're in the same industry. It had to
- 1:44:13be someone my thoughts in the drug trade. From what I've seen right now,
- 1:44:20I am ninety nine percent sure I found the pot farm in the address
- 1:44:29based on some geotagging and things I found. I haven't reached out to the
- 1:44:36pop farms yet because I'm waiting to get all of the police files to see
- 1:44:42if they have and I want to get the stuff from the FBI and the
- 1:44:45DEA because I also don't want a cartel putting a head out on me.
- 1:44:49To be honest, I Y, that's fair. I don't want to do
- 1:44:56that. Like I said, the goal is to fin Chase. It is
- 1:45:03in Norocal, but platforms move around quite a bit. But the one that
- 1:45:14the geo tags and locations I found it is still there inactive, and they've
- 1:45:20had some violations and they've had some issues. Catam says, send them to
- 1:45:27my place. I'll charm them to death. You'll charm them to death.
- 1:45:34Yes, I'll tap dance. I would love to see that. It would
- 1:45:45not be a very long series. Now. I do give little updates on
- 1:45:54the Chase Lucky case on my tiktoks. When I do my makeup. It
- 1:46:00just randomly happens when I run out of my headline stuff and it just randomly
- 1:46:05pops in there. So if you're ever interested in getting little tidbits before our
- 1:46:11next update, that would be the place you can get them. Just do
- 1:46:15not comment on my makeup abilities because I specifically state daily I am not a
- 1:46:23makeup artist. You give headliners with eyeliner, I do. There you go,
- 1:46:33So are we ready to get into our podcast? I think so.
- 1:46:41I think so, and you know, nobody get confused. We're going to
- 1:46:45do the intro again, just so we have the intro at the right spot
- 1:46:48and that and then we're going to push right on into couples that kill so
- 1:46:56and that is not JT and I killing not yet anyway, all right,
- 1:47:05here we go. Welcome ever everybody to Crime and Wine Time. Long time,
- 1:48:19no see if you're listening to if you're listening to the podcast, just
- 1:48:26know that we also are now recording these live on our YouTube channel, True
- 1:48:30Crime and Wine Time. If you just search that in YouTube, boom we
- 1:48:33pop up and so help us hit our five hundred subscribers. That's one of
- 1:48:39the things we need to check off in order to monetize, So definitely please
- 1:48:44do that. And if you're watching now, thank you, yes, thank
- 1:48:49you. And that monetization, you know, helps keep the wine flowing.
- 1:48:56And I have been waiting for the three days to share my pairing for tonight.
- 1:49:04I did open it and pour me a little. I didn't wait,
- 1:49:09but I just have to tell you. So my killer couple, one of
- 1:49:14them wanted to be a naval pilot, so I got the infamous goose Savin
- 1:49:23Young Blanc goose because of top gun Goose. When they're now and they're infamous
- 1:49:34because they became killers. Uh, I like that, tell us what you're
- 1:49:48drinking because now imported me a big glass because now you're talking. Okay,
- 1:49:55so this is called simply fruit, because that's what I am. I'm simply
- 1:50:00fruit, well half fruit, and uh it's called just peachy, and uh
- 1:50:06it is a I don't know, it's a bubbly fruit wine that actually is
- 1:50:15really good, I mean really good, as you can tell. I'm almost
- 1:50:20done. So have you drank that all tonight because you just opened it.
- 1:50:27Yeah, it's only six percent alcohol by volume. Oh, it's only six
- 1:50:31percent. It's like super like even advertised that it's like less alcohol. So
- 1:50:36I'm you know, I mean it is. It's fine. It's literally almost
- 1:50:41like drinking fruit juice, which I'm sure if I had like four of these
- 1:50:45would be dangerous. Mine is thirteen point seven Yes, I had to put
- 1:50:48on my glasses. Thirteen point seven percent. Yes, urine. It is
- 1:50:54all wine fruit, it's just all grapes. But in this case it is
- 1:51:01called simply fruit. I'm not quite sure what makes it simply and we'll see
- 1:51:09how it goes tomorrow because it does contain sulfights and I don't like those very
- 1:51:13much. Uh oh, but I think I've actually grown out of my allergy
- 1:51:16to sulfights because I had red wine the other night and I was fine.
- 1:51:19So well, I am giving myself an a for my pairing, first of
- 1:51:25all, because my infamous scoos. But we did the Chase Lacky update,
- 1:51:30which is Texas. My case is also from Texas, so I am drinking
- 1:51:33out of my Texas. I can't find my camera my Texas embossed wine glass.
- 1:51:41How's that preparing? All? Right? Listen, listen. You paired
- 1:51:45it with your case and your wine glass. I paired my wine to me,
- 1:51:49which really, as Sharina has pointed out, every wine pairs with me.
- 1:51:54So hey, now, if you are allergic to soul fights and wine,
- 1:52:00there are these drops you can buy on Amazon because I sent them to
- 1:52:06my boss in Finland. You drop them in. I don't know what the
- 1:52:11heck it does or how it works, but I can drink red wine and
- 1:52:15the soul fights don't bother me. Magic so magic. Maybe you should try
- 1:52:21it. And I'm gonna say not all wine pairs with JT. I'm gonna
- 1:52:28say all alcohol pairs with JT. Wine pairs with Terry. Beer does not
- 1:52:32pair with Terry wine. I don't talk like I don't talk a lot about
- 1:52:43you know, drinking and stuff on the other podcast, although I do have
- 1:52:46pod well on the live stream, although I do have brew Crime and this
- 1:52:49one. So it makes people wonder about me. But I will say this.
- 1:52:54You know this, this this week has been a week and most of
- 1:52:57the nights have not been water. We'll just say that. So here we
- 1:53:01are. This is my first whine of the week. Uh are you well?
- 1:53:16That's what you get for that one. I don't know what it is,
- 1:53:18but I want to know. Rotting cabbage. Why can't tell whether she's
- 1:53:24serious or not? I know, I hope so because I don't like cabbage
- 1:53:30and that just to me sounds like a nightmare. Yeah, I think we
- 1:53:41need shunka in on this whole investigation. I agree. Uh, Lisa was
- 1:53:46making that up. It sounded legit and she's Welsh, So I don't know,
- 1:53:51I'm not. I don't. I I was. I was up for
- 1:53:55it, but I was just like, rotting cabbage. Now and if we
- 1:54:00did that right? She just blasted out laughing, to the point which her
- 1:54:04neighbors are like, what the hell's going on? All right? Now?
- 1:54:08I want to give her a challenge. I want her to find a recipe
- 1:54:12to make moonshine with rotty and cabbage. Good luck, Welsh moonshine. I'm
- 1:54:18in, I'm in. So what case you got for us tonight? Doa
- 1:54:26oh man? All right? So, uh, the case that I am
- 1:54:29bringing to you are the Moors murders. Oh, I'm going to interrupt you
- 1:54:33real quick. Yes, this episode contains graphic content adult language. It may
- 1:54:40not be suitable for all listeners. Sorry, guys, we have to do
- 1:54:43that for the podcast. Peeps. Well, shit, now it's all gone
- 1:54:47to hell. I really hope monkey butt's not watching still. Oh she's in
- 1:54:55bed now, Okay, good, her mama has put her to bad Yeah,
- 1:55:04Lisa's gonna have a go with the challenge, all right. Yes,
- 1:55:09so you'll see the trigger warning at the bottom, and you'll also see that
- 1:55:13we did it in the beginning. If at any point you feel uncomfortable it's
- 1:55:15triggering whatever, please please please, Terry and I totally understand. Head out.
- 1:55:21We will see you the next time. It's totally fine. Okay.
- 1:55:25That's the last thing either of us want to do is to put you in
- 1:55:28a spot where you're in a bad place. Yes, your mental health is
- 1:55:34most important, and some things are triggering to some and not to others.
- 1:55:40If it's triggering for you, please go take care of yourself. Go take
- 1:55:45a warm bubble bath and just think about Lisa trying to make moonshine out of
- 1:55:50rotten cabbage. Oh can you imagine the smelly results on the after effects of
- 1:55:59that. Sorry, well, so, uh it should first be credited that
- 1:56:06it was this was written by Scharene. It was. Yes, it was
- 1:56:11written and researched by Charene. We both edited it over time and now I'm
- 1:56:17recording it and I've had it for quite some time, and admittedly there just
- 1:56:21has not been time to record it. But uh so this was initially and
- 1:56:27I told you about this earlier. This was initially going to be a sidebar.
- 1:56:30But I think what what what we'll do is record this, We'll release
- 1:56:35it on on the podcast, also release it on thirteenth Juror as well,
- 1:56:41and see if we can get some cross participation and pop up the guys.
- 1:56:45I mean the reality. Listen, let's raise the curtain here. We would
- 1:56:49love to have more subscribers, right, I don't mind being honest about that
- 1:56:54at all. I mean, that's that's that's the reality. We would like
- 1:56:56to go that route, and uh so so yes, so the Moore's murder
- 1:57:00serene, Thank you so much for all your hard work on this. All
- 1:57:05right. So, if you travel east over the Atlantic Ocean from America,
- 1:57:11you'll find a small island. The sizeize of it can fit inside the state
- 1:57:15of California almost twice over. The land area's two hundred and forty eight five
- 1:57:23hundred and thirty two square kilometers compared to the four hundred and twenty three thousand,
- 1:57:28nine hundred and seventy square kilometer California. For our country, so small,
- 1:57:32it has a lot of people living closely together. Despite its size,
- 1:57:38this island has a population of nearly sixty seven point eight million people, while
- 1:57:44California boasts only forty point two, which is, you know, California's most
- 1:57:48populous state in America. So for half the size, the island has twenty
- 1:57:54seven million more people. What islander are we talking about? What islander are
- 1:57:59we talking about? What do you think? I don't know? You said
- 1:58:01east and I'm sitting here going is that left or right? Well, we
- 1:58:09are talking about the United Kingdom in this case. Hey, guys, all
- 1:58:16right, I am very upfront. Don't tell me I know it's never eat
- 1:58:21soggy waffles. I still need you to say left or right. I believe
- 1:58:28Listen, you and I apparently have the same issue because my dad forever,
- 1:58:32Papa Bruce Crime forever, will make fun of me or not like having to
- 1:58:38think about left and right because people are like, well, okay, well
- 1:58:42put up your your hands and which one's an L. And I'm like,
- 1:58:45well, now, how do you right now? And then they're like,
- 1:58:46well, your left hand has your ring finger, and I'm like, but
- 1:58:49that doesn't help me if I don't remember my right and my left, because
- 1:58:53I won't know this is my left hand. I mean, I know it's
- 1:58:55my left hand. I'm not that stupid. I'm being silly, but you
- 1:58:58know the reality is right and left. I will be so convinced when I
- 1:59:03tell somebody right when I should have said left, that they will turn right,
- 1:59:06and I'll be like, hmm, you turn time. So here we
- 1:59:12are so across the pond. Across the pond, yes, but why are
- 1:59:17we considering the area in population of the UK? I hear you asking,
- 1:59:23Well, you might expect that among a tightly packed population, you would you'd
- 1:59:30be able to find your fair share of vicious villains. But there's another factor
- 1:59:34at work here that you'd think would contribute to the increase in vicious crimes.
- 1:59:40Urban mass is a distinctive characteristic of the modern era, and it's something that
- 1:59:45has profoundly altered the nature of human relationships by virtue of generating an unprecedented degree
- 1:59:51of anonymity, which is something predators used to be able to hide in plain
- 1:59:56sight. They need to camouflage themselves in society, often mimicking their ways and
- 2:00:01emotions, and they do this primarily because they don't know how to behave in
- 2:00:06day to day life, but also in order to get away with their crimes.
- 2:00:15So back in the sixties, individuals knew one another by name. They
- 2:00:17often had intimate knowledge of their neighbor's family history, daily routines, and personal
- 2:00:23predilections, elections, elections, who knows math. Strangers were rarely encountered,
- 2:00:30and when encountered, were basically the subject of rumor and suspicion. And the
- 2:00:38rise of capitalism and related processes of mass migration to urban centers has resulted in
- 2:00:44individuals being immersed in a sea of strangers. Thus, anonymity has become easier
- 2:00:48to accomplish. How much do you know about your neighbors across the pond?
- 2:00:57Are the ones next door to my house across the pond? Oh no,
- 2:01:03no, next door to your house. I've got creepy vampires on one side
- 2:01:09and nice people on the other side. Creepy go on. They do not
- 2:01:15let their children play outside, and they keep their shutters blind shut all the
- 2:01:23time. If you knock on their front door, they step out to talk
- 2:01:27to you and will not let you see in the house. They adopted the
- 2:01:30girls the year we moved into our house six years ago, so we call
- 2:01:36them the vampires. So it's Lady Gaga and her crew from American Horror Story
- 2:01:43Hotel. I just worry one day we're going to have dateline. Keith Morrison's
- 2:01:47going to be next door talking to them because they're crazy. You worry,
- 2:01:53or you'll be excited. No, I worry, Keith Morrison'll be there.
- 2:01:57Oh no, hey, he I sleep with him every night. That's right,
- 2:02:02I said, say, I sleep with Keith every night. It's me,
- 2:02:05him and Handsome Hovey in bed together, plus two dogs. Every night.
- 2:02:12We're back to fifty shades. My so, so along, I was
- 2:02:20gonna say at Keith, if you want to come to my house and actually
- 2:02:25crawl in bed with this instead of just being in my ear, I'm open
- 2:02:29for a conversation. What is handsome, mummy? I mean maybe he may
- 2:02:40not be, he may not be okay with that, but he also might
- 2:02:45say. He might also say, well, at his age, if he
- 2:02:49can handle you, give a try. I'm sorry, Keith, that wasn't
- 2:03:00very nice. Where's Ricky Watson and his horses? All right? Okay?
- 2:03:04So what I was saying was, uh, you know, along these lines.
- 2:03:13Just today I saw my uncle post a meme that says, today my
- 2:03:16neighbor asked me how I was doing. I guess I got to move now.
- 2:03:24It's brilliant, brilliant. What was the TV show back in the nineties
- 2:03:30where the guy was Tim Allen would talk to his neighbor and the fence covered
- 2:03:35his face. I don't remember what. Yeah, home improvement, Home Improvement,
- 2:03:42Yep, yep. Oh it was a good show. Yoh, that's
- 2:03:47a good show. No complaints from this peanut gallery, but the reality.
- 2:03:55But but I mean, like, how many of us actually know our neighbors.
- 2:03:58If we know our neighbors, do we we know our neighbor's neighbors.
- 2:04:00I guess is that there are very few who do anymore. And this is
- 2:04:05something that's happened relatively recently. I personally remember back in the nineties being at
- 2:04:10my grandparents' house and having a block party for the entire neighborhood, or for
- 2:04:13at least the entire length of Helen Avenue. And by the mid two thousands
- 2:04:16that was gone. People left, people moved in the world changed nine to
- 2:04:19eleven happened for the United States. Just a lot, a lot happened,
- 2:04:26and people decided that, you know, that wasn't a vital anymore. Other
- 2:04:32boundaries of everyday life closed in to basically the four walls of our homes rather
- 2:04:36than the crossroads of our neighborhoods and Ralph. Britain has experienced this and has
- 2:04:42had its share of heinous crimes. To be sure, it hasn't seen a
- 2:04:45lot of serial killers. Of course, you'll say, what about Jack the
- 2:04:51Ripper. Well, while he is widely regarded as the first and most famous
- 2:04:57British serial killer, we don't hear too much about folks who followed in his
- 2:05:00footsteps. There were some, to be sure, but nowhere near what other
- 2:05:05countries in the United States. Come see. So the duo we're going to
- 2:05:12talk to to talk about talk to you today, we're not talking to them
- 2:05:15talk about today, is arguably much worse than Jack the Ripper if you could
- 2:05:20put them on, you know, on a scale, since his crimes,
- 2:05:27since Jack the Rippers crimes and I just like since his crimes are been thirty
- 2:05:33four British serial killers total. That's it total. We have that like in
- 2:05:45a month, right, And I'm glad you said that, because the FBI
- 2:05:49estimates that they are between twenty five to fifty active serial killers in the United
- 2:05:55States at any given time, and media in America is often in traded with
- 2:06:00news of as we know, mass shooting, stings, crime, criminals,
- 2:06:04serial killers and more, which is it's not you know, it's not unheard
- 2:06:11of, but it is very very rare in the UK, very rare.
- 2:06:17So that's I guess they're very proper well, I you know, if if
- 2:06:26memory serves me correctly, there are like crimes involving blades, right, there's
- 2:06:30like knife crimes, right, But in terms of mass shootings not really.
- 2:06:39I mean, we're still talking about the bombing that happened right in the at
- 2:06:43the concert in England, so you know, and we I can't even remember
- 2:06:46what the last mass shooting was, but I'm pretty sure it was just yesterday,
- 2:06:49right. I mean I had friends at UNC when that shooting happened.
- 2:06:55I mean, I keep trying to convince h H for us to move across
- 2:06:59the pond. I mean, you know, time difference would be hard for
- 2:07:05recording, but we'd figure it out. But I get to your house when
- 2:07:11you move. Sorry, guys, what's wrong? I don't know if y'all
- 2:07:24want me to give this a little update, but I just got a message
- 2:07:29from somebody saying they want to talk to me because they may have been the
- 2:07:35person trying to use Chase's card ATM card Come again, Yes, you want
- 2:07:45to send them an invite to this channel right now? No, because that
- 2:07:50kind of makes me nervous not knowing more details. I don't want to bring
- 2:07:56someone on and wind up getting ourselves in some trouble or targets on us or
- 2:08:01anything. So how about I do this. I will respond reach out and
- 2:08:07I will post an update in the community chat on our YouTube channel tomorrow,
- 2:08:15which means more importantly that they're watching. Yes, Oh, I guess I
- 2:08:24should have said this earlier. There are conversations happening. I am going back
- 2:08:31to my high school for homecoming this weekend. I had someone very nicely reach
- 2:08:35out and ask me if I needed to be escorted in and out of the
- 2:08:41stadium because they heard that I was looking into this case, which tells you
- 2:08:46people are talking and that's what we want. Yeah, that's true, very
- 2:08:54true. Sorry to interrupt, but yes, I would love to move across
- 2:08:58the haunt. So what is the serial killer? Well, it's someone who
- 2:09:05eats a lot of cap'n crunch. Sorry, dad, joke. So,
- 2:09:16according to the website Oxford bibliographies dot com, here's a serious definition of serial
- 2:09:22killer. Serial murder is one form of multiple murder. The term serial murder
- 2:09:28has only been part of the vernacular since the nineteen eighties, when the Federal
- 2:09:31Bureau of Investigation began to differentiate between various forms of multiple murder. Serial murder
- 2:09:37involves the killing of multiple victims and separate events over a period of time,
- 2:09:41and that period of time between murders can be characterized as a cooling off period
- 2:09:46where the offender returns to a normal, generally law abiding routine before committing their
- 2:09:52next murder infinitely more rare than a serial killer. It's a serial killing couple.
- 2:10:03Killing couples are a rare breed in the dark annals of the world of
- 2:10:07murder, but when two evil entities unite, they lead to the war the
- 2:10:13worst crimes in history. One of the pairs we are going to look at
- 2:10:18now is Ian Brady and Myra Hindley, better known known as the Moors Murderers.
- 2:10:26Why the more as well? You'll find out the hair also, yeah,
- 2:10:31right, the hair. It's it looks like one of my wigs.
- 2:10:33To be honest with you, they are that is a that is a couple
- 2:10:43out of beatle ge. Yes, like, that's the best I can think
- 2:10:50of on that front. Okay, so you know you can imagine killing is
- 2:11:01not a secret you readily share with your spouse. Uh you know. Uh
- 2:11:07hey there, hey there, darling. All right, Terry, you're gonna
- 2:11:11feel at home. Hey there, darling, you know what I want to
- 2:11:15do for dating night this week? No, not the movies, No,
- 2:11:20you see, usually this is a skeleton that stays well hidden inside of a
- 2:11:24killer's closet, and it's certainly not something you lead with while speed dating.
- 2:11:28I feel like I've offended terry you have because Kelly P just gave me a
- 2:11:35great idea for a new dating app. Instead of closet skeletons, something skelet
- 2:11:50sclet match. I don't I'm gonna have to think on that one. Ooh,
- 2:11:54serial dater, see done it and that. I'll tell you, the
- 2:12:05psychology behind two people getting together and killing together is one of the most fascinating
- 2:12:18matches. I mean it just to get two people, I mean, it's
- 2:12:22it just it leaves me speechless because there are just so many things that have
- 2:12:28to fall just right, Oh yeah, oh for sure, for sure,
- 2:12:33and this is this is definitely one of those cases. So like you know,
- 2:12:39how many times have we seen family members completely unaware of what's been happening
- 2:12:41until one day their loved ones arrested and they can't believe it to be true.
- 2:12:46And so many secrets and skeletons come out of trial, even things that
- 2:12:48are not remotely relevant. And to involve another person, it's pretty risky for
- 2:12:54a killer. You know what if they went to the police about what you
- 2:12:56were up to involving someone's it's para us to do. Some would say perilously,
- 2:13:03perilous, And we will see that was the very thing that eventually led
- 2:13:09to Brady and Myra's downfall. So it should be known that here's your trigger
- 2:13:18warning. These are crimes against children. They're they do focus on younger kids
- 2:13:28between the ages of ten and seventeen. So if this is not for you,
- 2:13:31again, here's another trigger. I'll be back by Terry and I'll be
- 2:13:41backs me. Yeah. We we try starings really good with not like getting
- 2:13:48too far into the weeds with everything, so like in terms of very specific
- 2:13:52things, but you know, just to just know that this is you know,
- 2:13:56yeah, all right. So so Ian Brady would go on to use
- 2:14:03Samaira Handley belore five children to their deaths. Did you see Tom Brady,
- 2:14:09not Ian Brady not Yes, and they were between the ages of ten and
- 2:14:15seventeen, which honestly makes these two the worst people in the history of Britain,
- 2:14:18or some of them. You know, Crimes against children are an entire
- 2:14:24other level of wickedness. It evokes strong emotions and every decent human as it's
- 2:14:31our nature to protect them. And even in the prison system they recognize this.
- 2:14:35I mean, here's looking at you, Lori Mallow, because if you're
- 2:14:37in jail for a crime against a child or children, You're more likely to
- 2:14:41be attacked by other inmates or worse. But what does that say about the
- 2:14:48world that even the worst of the worst. No, that just shouldn't hurt
- 2:14:54children, that you mean? Yep? So what made Myra Hindley stoop to
- 2:15:03such evil into pravity as to help Ian with hurting and killing such young children.
- 2:15:09We don't understand how falling in love with Brady led Hindley to help him
- 2:15:13take innocent lives. It just doesn't make sense. But here's the deal.
- 2:15:18Love's powerful, I mean, whatever her definition of love was anyways, I
- 2:15:24mean, it's not only powerful, but it can be incredibly toxic, almost
- 2:15:28as toxic as Britney spears. I just heard a groan from everybody watching.
- 2:15:39There was a collective groan. Did you hear that in the distance? I
- 2:15:43heard it. All right, you're welcome Britney. Britney just needs a lot
- 2:15:56of love and a lot of medication right now. Yep, yep, I
- 2:16:03love. That's true. I am. No body questioned it, just gonna
- 2:16:13be honest. Not even did I ever cross my mind that maybe that was
- 2:16:18your joke. It's true, It's true. That is definitely Dad humor not
- 2:16:22not British humor at all. So either way, you know, it's obvious
- 2:16:28that from the minute Hindley met Brady, she was obsessed with what was he
- 2:16:35was described as aloof. He was an aloof young man. While working as
- 2:16:39a typist at Milworth Merchandise Limited, a chemical company, she became intrigued by
- 2:16:45a bookkeeper, Ian Brady. As mentioned, Brady was aloof or cool and
- 2:16:50distant. Perhaps this was what attracted her to him. This will make a
- 2:16:54little more sense in a little while. In turn, he saw someone he
- 2:16:56could mold to help him fulfill sick fantasies. He would share with her his
- 2:17:03ideologies that had picked that he'd picked up from reading books like mind Coomp,
- 2:17:09the autobiographical manifesto of Nazi le Adolf Hitler, as well as were other works
- 2:17:16on Nazi atrocities. Because quite honestly, what's a better pickup line than going,
- 2:17:22Hi, I'm i in. Have you read mind Coomp? Like that's
- 2:17:28not even the script, but like, I'm pretty sure i'd kind of like
- 2:17:31walk away, walk away. Uh, it definitely wouldn't work on me.
- 2:17:39So, uh, you know, there are some that would see this as
- 2:17:43a massive red flag but Meyra apparently saw it as an aphrodisiac. Uh.
- 2:17:50It's understood that Ian was the dominant partner in the relationship, and some believe
- 2:17:54Meyra was fully brainwashed by Brady, while others felt she was just is evil.
- 2:18:01One thing's for sure. They brought out the worst in each other.
- 2:18:05They were like they're like a couple kind of addicted to drugs. They would
- 2:18:09just reinforce the habit again and again and again, not only indeed, but
- 2:18:13in mindset. Meira did admit later in prison that she felt she was worse
- 2:18:18than Brady as most children would trust her as a woman, and without her
- 2:18:22playing her part, the children would not have been murdered by Brady. So
- 2:18:28how is Brady able to have such an influence on Hindley to be able to
- 2:18:31seduce her and help him to commit such monstrous acts? So for that,
- 2:18:37we really need to go back. So let's Tarantino this, shall we.
- 2:18:46I had to find the most offensive Tarantino image that I possibly could. All
- 2:18:52right, so let's focus on Brady for a second. He was He was
- 2:18:58born of a single mother in glad Go, Scotland, in nineteen thirty eight.
- 2:19:01His mom worked to provide for herself. Having little money not much support,
- 2:19:05she was unable to look after a baby on her own, so soon
- 2:19:09after birth he was given to a foster couple to be raised. In his
- 2:19:13teenage years, he was in trouble with the lot of the lot a lot.
- 2:19:18He was in trouble with the law a lot. That's on me,
- 2:19:22actually, I specifically remember messing that up. There were red flags everywhere.
- 2:19:30It was a regular meeting of Bahrain, China, Turkey, Canada, and
- 2:19:33North Korea. Not literally, but you get my drift, unless you don't
- 2:19:37know the flags of countries, in which case I'll just describe the attendees of
- 2:19:41the most awkward Thanksgiving dinner ever. Please thanks, okay, and yes I
- 2:19:50did have to google red flag countries okay. Ian was arrested twice for house
- 2:19:56breaking and was arrested again when he threatened his then girlfriends with the knife.
- 2:20:05He's a well, he's a real winner at this one. Because of this,
- 2:20:07on his seventeenth birthday, the court ordered Ian to go back to live
- 2:20:11with his biological mother and her husbands been Patrick Brady, in Manchester, England.
- 2:20:18I don't understand why to this day, because it didn't work. Out
- 2:20:20the first time, and he took on his stepfather's name, became Ian Brady.
- 2:20:26And this is around when he met Hindley. Now Myra Hindley was born
- 2:20:31in Manchester to an extremely abusive father, who in turn encouraged her to be
- 2:20:37violent to others. He put his young daughter into martial arts classes in a
- 2:20:41time when feminine and masculine roles were very well defined, and suffice to say,
- 2:20:46fighting was not ladylike. Now did this early life make her susceptible to
- 2:20:52being influenced by Brady? I mean it might have. More so, though,
- 2:20:56was the need for approval from her father, And this moved to een
- 2:21:01and her constant seeking of approval, thinking that approval was the equivalent of love.
- 2:21:11So what did they do? You know, it doesn't work that all
- 2:21:15right, it doesn't hold on. I'll just I'll just write that down.
- 2:21:26L is for the way you look at me. Oh all right, I'm
- 2:21:33buying you a wig that looked just like this. To see, now I
- 2:21:41have one kind of it just happens to be like a rainbow colored. So
- 2:21:46so that this is the case that goes This is the part of the case
- 2:21:50that goes more in depth than to the killings of the children. The victims
- 2:21:54again. You know, if this is too much, skip forward, you
- 2:21:58know, after your mental health first and foremost. So Pauline read the first
- 2:22:07victim, was sixteen year old. Sixteen years old, Pauline was on her
- 2:22:11way to a dance, dressed to the nines and wearing her mother's necklace.
- 2:22:18Dances were the social occasion of the week and it was where friends hung out
- 2:22:22and it was a prime, prime meeting spot to meet a potential suitor.
- 2:22:28It was where the newest dances and music were being played. I mean,
- 2:22:31it was the place to be. The cat's meow. Pauline was six years
- 2:22:35ago, right, aw, except with a beat and more dancing. So
- 2:22:45Pauline was excited to go. And when a friend bailed on her, well,
- 2:22:48she set off on her own. I mean, remember this time,
- 2:22:52it was seen as okay to do. In the sixties, it was understood
- 2:22:58to be a safe time, with safe neighborhoods. This was the time where
- 2:23:01mothers left their infants outside on the front tour in hopes that they would nap
- 2:23:09in the fresh air. You know they still do that in Finland. I
- 2:23:13was just in Finland, I believe February been there twice. Now they put
- 2:23:18their babies out on porches. They go into a restaurant to eat, and
- 2:23:24they have big windows. There's like ten prams lined up outside with their babies
- 2:23:31because I asked if it was okay to just take one. So they still
- 2:23:37do that in some places. Yeah, yeah, I here. You would
- 2:23:46go to prison for it, oh for sure, right away, if you
- 2:23:52know, if we didn't have a bystander effect. So you know, children
- 2:24:00played in the streets unsupervised, school children went off to school alone, even
- 2:24:05at a very young age. Abductions and murders just didn't happen in these communities,
- 2:24:11you know. But this was the sixties, right. The Beatles and
- 2:24:13Elvis Presley were some of the biggest musical acts popular at the time. Everywhere
- 2:24:18you turned you saw the fashion of tied I shirts, mini skirts, faded
- 2:24:22Jean's peace and love were the idealistic emblems of the era. This was in
- 2:24:26response primarily to the fact that, you know, the Vietnam War was in
- 2:24:30full swing, and even though Britain wasn't as involved as America, obviously,
- 2:24:35anti war activism traversed across the pond. So Paulin was on her wage.
- 2:24:45Yes, your screen stopped sharing. Well, that is unfortunate because I was
- 2:24:50going to make a comment that I think you would look great in that orange
- 2:24:52dress with the white go go boots, and the picture went away. Thank
- 2:24:56you, thank you. Well, I don't know why that happened. That's
- 2:25:00odd, but oh thank you could rock those bits. Oh my gosh,
- 2:25:07my legs would look so long. Okay, you got me about it,
- 2:25:16Hey, all right. So so Pauline was on her way to the dance
- 2:25:20when Myra Hindley in a small van, followed by Ian on a motorcycle behind
- 2:25:26her. Uh. They showed up. All Ian had to do was flashes
- 2:25:30lights, which was a pre arranged signal. Myra would stop, ask the
- 2:25:35girl for a hand finding a glove, and then offer her a lift to
- 2:25:39the dance when up on the moors, because the glove was on the moors.
- 2:25:46Uh. When when they were up there, Brady would attack Pauline.
- 2:25:52He raped her, he s let her throat, and they unceremoniously buried her
- 2:25:56body in a hidden grave and left. So a pattern was set. Meyer
- 2:26:03would learn lure the kids into the car asking for help, and take them
- 2:26:07off to the moor, where Brady attacked and killed them in much the same
- 2:26:13way. They then would bury them on the More, and he would do
- 2:26:18this not only to Pauline Reid, but to his next victims as well.
- 2:26:24The astute amongst you will have noticed why they were dubbed the Moore's murders.
- 2:26:28The More in question has miles of undeveloped and unspoiled nature, and it is
- 2:26:35vast and very remote, making it the perfect isolated place to commit these murders.
- 2:26:45The More specifically so, it was specifically Saddleworth More, and it takes
- 2:26:50its name from the parish of Saddleworth, which is in the West Riding of
- 2:26:54Yorkshire. It's part of Greater Manchester and has been and has been since nineteen
- 2:27:01seventy four. The moor is an elevated plateau with gritstone and v shaped valleys
- 2:27:07with fast flowing streams. Scattered farmsteads and fields are on the lower land and
- 2:27:13in the valleys, and there is overlying peat cut by drainage channels. Much
- 2:27:18of the land is open access. The peat formation itself is nine thousand years
- 2:27:24old, but where the surface has eroded there is bear peat. Now.
- 2:27:28In addition, nothing good has really ever happened on this More to be honest
- 2:27:35with you. In August of nineteen forty nine, a BA Douglas DC three
- 2:27:39plane crashed into the hill at Wimbury Stones, killing twenty four and leaving eight
- 2:27:43survivors. The body of an unknown man was found between che and Doveston reservoirs,
- 2:27:52having died of Strych nine poisoning. A wildfire broke out June two thousand
- 2:28:00eighteen, which ended with massive evacuations and damage. Three days later they were
- 2:28:05still fighting the fire. As a peat more, the fire burns underground before
- 2:28:11setting above ground on fire. This results in a ton of smoke and high
- 2:28:16temperatures. In fact, experts had said that the fire could go on for
- 2:28:20another few weeks. Inside it was it's insane. It's burning underground. Yeah,
- 2:28:31yep, yep, okay yep. And then in twenty nineteen February,
- 2:28:37a fire described as apocalyptic as you can see here occurred on the moor.
- 2:28:43So what a location for sure. John Kilbride was a twelve year old boy
- 2:28:54who worked at the nearby market. He stopped there. He stopped at the
- 2:29:01market on his way back from the cinema on November twenty third, nineteen sixty
- 2:29:03three. And this is where he met Myra Hindley. Myra asked him to
- 2:29:09help put some boxes in her car and subsequently offered him a lift home.
- 2:29:13On the way home, Mara asked John to help her find her glove on
- 2:29:18the moor. When there, Ian again raped and strangled John and buried his
- 2:29:24body there. Keith Bennett on They just sixteenth, nineteen sixty Oh, I
- 2:29:39thought I was Madi. Can I stop and ask questions? Sure? Why
- 2:29:46children? Do you ever find that out? Are they just the worst people
- 2:29:52on the earth? Ian's okay. So here's here's the interesting thing about this,
- 2:30:01and it will come to light in a bit. Here is that Ian
- 2:30:05really focused on He really focused on small kids, and I think it was
- 2:30:11out of his need to control. And we'll see eventually where he decides to
- 2:30:16choose kind of an older victim. And it doesn't go great because I don't
- 2:30:22well, I'll talk about it. I'll talk about it. It's a really
- 2:30:26good question. But June sixteenth, nineteen sixty four, Keith Bennett, who
- 2:30:33was also twelve, he went missing on his way to stay at his grandma's
- 2:30:37house. Which is a certain fairy tale and how it starts just before something
- 2:30:41really bad happens so his mom and sisters had walked him part of the way
- 2:30:48as they were off to Bingo. While they arrived at Bingo part of the
- 2:30:52way. Sorry, when they arrived at Bingo, Keith never turned up at
- 2:30:56his grandma's house again. Asking for assistance to load a van. Myyra offered
- 2:31:05to give him a lift to his grandma's house. On the way, she
- 2:31:07said that she needed help looking for a glove on the moor. While there,
- 2:31:13Keith was raped and strangled, and his body would never be found.
- 2:31:20Now after Keith, things changed a little, and this is true of all
- 2:31:24serial killers. Ian felt the need to escalate. Myra followed suit, and
- 2:31:31their fourth victim was a ten year old girl by the name of Lesley and
- 2:31:35Downey. Leslie and Downey was at a fair ground on December twenty sixth,
- 2:31:41nineteen sixty four, when Myra Hindley had abducted her and took her back to
- 2:31:46their house. While there, Myra had started recording the torture of the ten
- 2:31:54year old Leslie and Downey was at a fair ground number twenty sixth. We
- 2:32:05just talked about that. Sorry. On the tapes, you can hear the
- 2:32:09girl pleading to be able to go home to her parents, crying and asking
- 2:32:13not to be undressed and gagged. Obviously, I'm not gonna play this tape.
- 2:32:18Mera was at times nice girl and then threatening. Now this serves to
- 2:32:22disarm and then cause the maximum psychological harm and damage in the house. Little
- 2:32:28Leslie was raped and murdered. Her body had been taken to the moor and
- 2:32:31buried. The tapes proved to be Henley's undoing because they proved that Hindley wasn't
- 2:32:37a mindless follower of Brady, but as cold and evil as he was.
- 2:32:46Did I have the wrong Okay, all right, so you did for a
- 2:32:54minute, but you're good. Now what did I do? Yeah? The
- 2:32:58wrong slide up? It's okay, I'm sorry, Okay, sorry, everybody,
- 2:33:03you're human. It's okay, dear, I'm human. And there's fifty
- 2:33:07three of these slides. So how are they caught? That involves a young
- 2:33:13fellow by the name of David Smith. That's right. Wasn't really police or
- 2:33:18concerns citizens. It was just this one fella. There's David Smith, who
- 2:33:26looks like he should probably be in like a sixties pop band. I know,
- 2:33:31it sounds like when he looks like he should be a musician, right,
- 2:33:33he looks like he looks like you should be in Paul Revere and the
- 2:33:37Raiders, which is a callback. And people either know what I'm talking about
- 2:33:43or they don't. I don't, So it's okay. Now. Now my
- 2:33:54brain wants to tell you that you probably do. And that being said,
- 2:34:00ed Yep, Nope, can't find anything right away, and that's okay.
- 2:34:09So in terms of David Smith, Brady had befriended David Smith, who had
- 2:34:15married Myra Hindley's sister. David and Ian started spending a lot of time together
- 2:34:20talking about how to commit crimes and get away with him. I believe he
- 2:34:24thought he had found another person who he could indoctrinate with his sick ideology,
- 2:34:31but he was mistaken. Brady's ultimate undoing occurred when he involved David in his
- 2:34:37final victim's murder. So Edward Evans was the fifth victim. After meeting the
- 2:34:46seventeen year old on October sixth, nineteen sixty five, at a railway station,
- 2:34:50Ian convinced him to go back to his house for a sexual encounter.
- 2:34:54While Edward was at the house, Myra was sent to pick up David Smith.
- 2:35:00You see, Ian believed David would be okay to be involved, And
- 2:35:07to that, I say, oh, how wrong he it was. When
- 2:35:15David entered the house, he saw Ian bringing a hatchet down on Edward's head.
- 2:35:20Ian then took a piece of string strangled Edward injuring his ankle in the
- 2:35:26struggle. Now remember Edward was seventeen and this was a fight that Ian was
- 2:35:31not ready for or used to. Afterwards, they put Edward's body in the
- 2:35:39spare room, and well they locked the door. Afraid of Ian and what
- 2:35:46he saw, David Smith went to the nearest telephone box and ring the police.
- 2:35:52Instead, he found somewhere that was much larger on the inside and the
- 2:35:58hardest. Okay. A strapping gentleman in a blue pinstriped suit and khaki trench
- 2:36:05coat approached him and asked, when would you like to go? Wait?
- 2:36:09Wait, wait, hold on, that's not right. That's that's doctor who
- 2:36:16my bad. So a member of the police basically dressed as a breadman k
- 2:36:22talked on the door of Myra Hindley and asked for her husband. She said,
- 2:36:26nope, don't know what you're talking about, and she denied even having
- 2:36:30a husband, a whole husband, to which the police identified themselves and gained
- 2:36:35admittance to the home, where they found Ian Brady on a mattress on the
- 2:36:37floor in the lounge, writing to his employer about the ankle injury he sustained
- 2:36:43while killing his latest victim. Police searched the house and they found a locked
- 2:36:52door leading to a spare room. Myra said the key was at work,
- 2:37:01but Ian told Myra to give the police the key to the door. Now
- 2:37:05that was either in an effort to give up or because he was exhausted.
- 2:37:11And when they opened the door, they found the body of Edward Evans and
- 2:37:13Ian was arrested. I don't want to be that person who finds those things.
- 2:37:20I don't know. So during the search of the house, a railway
- 2:37:30luggage ticket was found, and when the police went to the railway station and
- 2:37:33opened the locker, a suitcase was found. So what was inside of the
- 2:37:41suitcase? Well, they found items belonging to children, along with photos,
- 2:37:48notebooks, and recordings of the murder of Leslie Ann Downing. They also found
- 2:37:58photos of Ian and Myra up on the moors looking down at the ground in
- 2:38:01various specific spots. When they went up to the moor, they found the
- 2:38:05bodies of John Kilbride and Leslie Ann Downey. Myra and Ian would later take
- 2:38:13the place. Sorry, excuse me, Mayra and Ian would later take the
- 2:38:20police to the moors to show them where Keith was buried. Whether Ian forgot
- 2:38:26or was messing with the police to be able to get a day out of
- 2:38:28prison and nobody can know. So the couple were tried together for three murders.
- 2:38:37It was obvious that Myra was in uh it was obvious where was I.
- 2:38:45It was obvious that Myra was involved as she was in the recording of
- 2:38:48the murder and the photos from the moor. Yet they both pleaded guilty with
- 2:38:52a body found in the house and recordings and memorabilia found. This is mind
- 2:38:58blowing, but it also speaks to their ego, pride, and their need
- 2:39:01for control, as well as them wanting to relive the murders and torture the
- 2:39:07victims' families. During the trial, Myras said that she had been unaware of
- 2:39:13what had happened. Ian Brady said he had he had hit Edward Evans with
- 2:39:20a hatchet, but it was self defense. The jury was shown the recording
- 2:39:28in photos of Leslie and Downing, which were horrifying. Ian spent eight hours
- 2:39:35testifying and then myras in another six hours. Both of them together are still
- 2:39:45less than Jody Arias, as we are very well aware right now spent on
- 2:39:56the reort. What a trial that never ends. We're almost there. We're
- 2:40:05on the defense for bottle closing. No, okay, I'm gonna stop real
- 2:40:11quick. One of my besties, one of my gays, just said,
- 2:40:16Hi, it's my shoe. Hi. I know, if you listen to
- 2:40:24any of the early podcasts, the Shoe is on a couple of them.
- 2:40:30But I invited him for the one I don't remember the name of the case,
- 2:40:35but where the guy cut off the other guy's Gena Telia with the wine
- 2:40:39bottle opener and the look on Shoe's face when I did that, because we
- 2:40:48were together, and I will tell you, I have never seen someone squirm
- 2:40:54so bad. And I love him for it because he was so okay with
- 2:40:58it. He was my very first guest ever on the podcast. That's awesome.
- 2:41:05He needs to back. Sorry. I needed a lighthearted laugh because I'm
- 2:41:11going to just be honest, this case is very triggering for me. We
- 2:41:15are almost done, I know. So the jury spent only two hours to
- 2:41:20come back with a guilty verdict, and they were sentenced a whole life in
- 2:41:24prison or life without parolelfer of the Americans out there. While in prison,
- 2:41:28they each confess to the murders of all five children and take the police to
- 2:41:33find the other bodies up on the moor, But the body of Keith,
- 2:41:35Bennett and Pauline Lead would never be found. People still go searching and they
- 2:41:46hope to find Keith's body. Even up to twenty twenty one, his body
- 2:41:48was being searched for by his family. Both Hindley and Brady have since died
- 2:41:52in prison, and hope remains that one day the body of Keith will be
- 2:41:58found. So you know, for me, when when reading this script or
- 2:42:09when Surenne was doing her research, you know, it affected us deeply kind
- 2:42:13of on a you know, on an emotional level, and I think it
- 2:42:16has for everybody here. Uh. These crimes were horrifyingly brutal, and well
- 2:42:22it couldn't get couldn't get much worse details than the ones that we've just heard
- 2:42:28about. While Brand, Brady, and Hindley remained in jail for the rest
- 2:42:35of their lives, justice for Keith and Pauline was never accomplished. We feel
- 2:42:41for their families as well as every family that loses a loved one because because
- 2:42:46of the actions of such a dangerous and deranged individual, pair of individuals,
- 2:42:52or just there's a bunch of paper towels to wait. What where am I?
- 2:43:00I'm so sorry? Would you like another glass of wine? My love?
- 2:43:05My brain went so far left. I am so tired. Okay,
- 2:43:13I'm pulling a lot of things. Actually, I really can't deliver that last
- 2:43:20line again, so I'll just cut it after the first time. To be
- 2:43:22honest with you, it feels disingenuine to try and do that last line again,
- 2:43:28but it's true. I mean we do. We feel for their families
- 2:43:31and every family that loses the loved one because of the actions of these dangerous
- 2:43:37and dranged individuals. So that's the Morris murders. That's the Morris murders,
- 2:43:43and that's the end of JT is really what the film's down too. Game
- 2:43:50over, man, Game over, You need to sleep. That was good.
- 2:43:58I have to tell you, that is a case I've always steered clear
- 2:44:05of. Oh and I have to say when you sent over that that's the
- 2:44:11one you're doing. It didn't register with me until it popped up tonight and
- 2:44:16I was like, oh, I can do this. I'm still sounding like
- 2:44:24a man, but no, I mean it's triggering, but I am still
- 2:44:31a firm believer that we have to understand our past to help educate and prevent
- 2:44:39the future. I agree, I agree, and I think it's a it's
- 2:44:50a fascinating what I What I did was I acknowledged just the absolute terrible acts
- 2:44:58that they committed, and I acknowledge the fact that this case is just deranged
- 2:45:05and dark and dismal, and it's just terrible. So after usually what happens
- 2:45:13is after I recognize that, I will then start substituting for my interest in
- 2:45:20like how could any of these folks do this? But then also in this
- 2:45:24case, how how did both of them end up together in a way that
- 2:45:31where they felt comfortable taking these actions? And so for me, kind of
- 2:45:37asking that question kind of helped me work through it. And I don't I
- 2:45:41can't even imagine what it was what it was like for Suren to do the
- 2:45:46research on that one. So thank Surene. Yeah, I mean, Sharene,
- 2:45:54please don't hate me for this considering she wrote one of our first perfect
- 2:46:01and I think it's the case that we've given the highest ranking to. I
- 2:46:09hope your neighbors know you well, Scharene, because your mind is as wicked
- 2:46:13as mine and JT's. Sharen said Ian and Myra were trusted by their neighbors,
- 2:46:20and I think there's a lesson in that. There is wow. Normally
- 2:46:26I have the darker cases. It's fair Shren wants to kill a stranger,
- 2:46:35so just get to know her and you're fine, you know, And that's
- 2:46:41one reason like that we decided not to do the perfect crime tonight. I
- 2:46:46have to say our viewers and listeners they love killing random people. So the
- 2:46:52moral to that story is get to know everybody, because then they won't kill
- 2:46:56you, or it lowers your chances become more gregarious, you know. Yeah,
- 2:47:07well, thank you, I think for that. Oh, I just
- 2:47:09hit my microphone. My case is nowhere as dark. It's still brutal,
- 2:47:18but like I said earlier, I am still I used to want to be
- 2:47:24a neuropsychologist and work with people who had brain injuries, but also the more
- 2:47:33extremes of things, and a couple killers has always been one that fascinates me.
- 2:47:41And I'll be honest. When I thought of starting a podcast, I
- 2:47:45thought of doing a couple killers, and then I watched several snapped episodes and
- 2:47:52realized they didn't do a great job at it, and I decided I didn't
- 2:47:56want to live in the brains of couples that kill. Yeah, no,
- 2:48:05I need I need some variety, kind of like our thief at the top
- 2:48:11of our start tonight before we went into the Chase Lackey case of buckles.
- 2:48:16Every now and then, I need some buckles in my life. Oh okay,
- 2:48:24we just got proof that we're safe. Scharene is not going to kill
- 2:48:33us. I mean, you know, every color escalates, So Charina,
- 2:48:39I got your back. Aually, Hell, you're not, y'all. So
- 2:48:46well, my case isn't as dark. And my couple is a very young
- 2:48:52couple. They were both eighteen cheez eighteen and from Texas outside of the Dallas
- 2:49:01area, hence the Texas class. And of course we already talked about our
- 2:49:07wine pairing because I got an A tonight, so I needed to remind you
- 2:49:11all of that is the first time in my podcasting career that I've gotten an
- 2:49:15A. So I'm going to be cocky and taken. So I did not
- 2:49:24make slides for mine because guys. To be honest, I am so adjusting
- 2:49:28to this whole live thing. I might have to reach out to Sharen and
- 2:49:33say, hey, if I send you my script, will you make me
- 2:49:35some pretty slides? Because, as JT is found, I'm not good with
- 2:49:39visuals. I'm a girl. You you have great visuals that the charts were
- 2:49:46awesome. Yeah, we won't say how long that took to do those chores,
- 2:49:54how long I was on bed rest? What else did I have to
- 2:49:56do right besides hh, okay, you caught it dead dead. I died
- 2:50:07and now I'm dead. So. Adriana Jones was a vibrant young woman with
- 2:50:18dreams of pursuing higher education. She was a beautiful person known for her kind
- 2:50:24heart. She was dedicated to academics and a passion for running, and she
- 2:50:30hoped to go to Texas A and M. Gig them. She was a
- 2:50:35student who excelled in on her courses. Why are you laughing at that?
- 2:50:39If monkey butt was on? I tell her she can go to two colleges
- 2:50:43and we'll pay. She can go to A and M if she wants a
- 2:50:46cute guy, or she can go to ut Texas like her Paul Paul if
- 2:50:52she wants a smart one. But let me categorize. There are good looking
- 2:50:58ones that go to Texas this like her papa. But most of them,
- 2:51:01god, I am so anyway, kick them anyway. She also had a
- 2:51:05passion for running, and nobody was chasing her. So I do not understand
- 2:51:11the whole running thing, because if no one's chasing you or trying to kill
- 2:51:13you, I don't know why you run. I don't. It's like the
- 2:51:18slow Rhinoceros and Jumanji. I'm like, I don't. My friend, my
- 2:51:24neighbor across the street runs and I'm like, why who's chasing you? I
- 2:51:30will swim laps you run. But anyway, she she was in honor classes,
- 2:51:37and she was respected to her commitment to her studies and her athletic pursuits.
- 2:51:41But she also had a job, and she was very relentless in pursuit
- 2:51:48of justice in her community. And she was sixteen and she cared about equality,
- 2:51:58which I mean at sixteen, I can tell you equality was not something
- 2:52:05I thought of. I was more worried about Madonna. How to get my
- 2:52:09boostier out of the house with my parents seeing and packing extra clothes to change
- 2:52:15into that my parents didn't know about because they told me I couldn't wear them,
- 2:52:18so I had to make sure I wore them those kind of things.
- 2:52:22So she was way beyond me. But however, tragedy struck on the evening
- 2:52:28of December third, nineteen ninety five, when Adriana was last seen by her
- 2:52:33mother in her bedroom talking on the phone. Her family reported her missing the
- 2:52:39next morning, triggering a police investigation. The following day, however, Adriana's
- 2:52:45lifeless body was discovered near Joe Pool Lake in Grand Prix, Texas. It's
- 2:52:50right outside of Dallas. She had been brutally beaten and had suffered two gunshot
- 2:52:56wounds. To that now, the investigation into her murder was extensive for this
- 2:53:03small town. The police interviewed and polygraphed numerous individuals, you know, knowing
- 2:53:11polygraphs are you know, taken in court. They were still like it gives
- 2:53:16us a baseline. Everybody that she was friends with, and people were just
- 2:53:20lining up to do them. But despite their efforts, the case went cold,
- 2:53:26leaving the family just upset. Now, I think it's essential to provide
- 2:53:33background on the couple that we're getting ready to talk about. So Diane and
- 2:53:39David so we're gonna call them the Double d as their relationship with Adriana played
- 2:53:46a crucial role in this case. Diane and David met at the age of
- 2:53:52fourteen, but they didn't start dating until four years later, so they didn't
- 2:54:00start dating until they were eighteen. But they met when they were fourteen.
- 2:54:03However, their relationship quickly escalated within a month of dating. He proposed they
- 2:54:13agreed to get married after they finished college. I mean thirty days, yes,
- 2:54:22Kelly, p JT be tired. This week has been something else.
- 2:54:28See all, well, you're lucky, You're lucky. My case is short
- 2:54:35tonight. It is short tonight, and it is no way a commentary on
- 2:54:43your case or delivery. It is simply that emotionally and physically, and I
- 2:54:52get it. I get it. So, like I said, they planned
- 2:54:56to marry after college. However, friends and family know it that their relationship
- 2:55:01seemed unhealthy, characterized by an intense obsession with each other. So I'm going
- 2:55:07to just say, if a guy's proposing after thirty days and you're eighteen,
- 2:55:13run there might be something wrong with that relationship. You know your response should
- 2:55:20be this, Oh you can't hear it because I'm not sharing a scream well
- 2:55:24sugar water. Never we'll share your screen. Oh fine, is it worth
- 2:55:30it? I don't know. We'll find out it is because I like your
- 2:55:35funnies, my bunnies, my funnies. Let's see here we go money exactly,
- 2:55:48run as fast as you can. But I'm going to say they were
- 2:55:54two peas in a pod. So Diane was raised in a religious house sold
- 2:56:00and she was known for her reserved nature. So she didn't have a lot
- 2:56:03of friends, but she didn't have enemies. She was just kind of that
- 2:56:07person in high school that I hate to say the word that was kind of
- 2:56:13invisible. She just kind of went along with everything. Meanwhile, David and
- 2:56:20Adriana attended the same high school together in Mansfield, while Diana Diane went to
- 2:56:26school in nearby Crowley, Texas. I always talk like everybody knows Texas,
- 2:56:31and I have to remember not everybody does. But I would argue far fewer
- 2:56:39these days. I mean, I was born here, raised here. I
- 2:56:45can't say that I'm proud of my state these days. As I've mentioned before,
- 2:56:48Sorry for my res no. It's okay. Texas is on meth and
- 2:56:54they really need to go to rehab. The only thing they could do worse
- 2:56:58was bring Trump. But anyway, at the time of Adriana's murder, Adriana
- 2:57:05was sixteen, Diane and David were eighteen. I mean, yeah, so
- 2:57:16ooh, hold on, I just totally jumped. Okay, I don't know
- 2:57:24what happened there, but any way, I know, I'm like, I
- 2:57:28just pulled a JT. So they went to separate schools, Diane and David.
- 2:57:37However, they were very in tuned with each other. Now, David
- 2:57:46and Adriana both were on I forget what the word is called it cross country
- 2:57:52So they ran for no damn reason, and they traveled to Lubbock, Texas
- 2:58:00or an event. Well, they get back, David decides he needs to
- 2:58:05make Diane jealous, so he tells her that he pulled over on the side
- 2:58:11of the road and he cheated on her with Adriana because he wanted to get
- 2:58:18her jealous. Little did he know doing this was going to spend their lives
- 2:58:24out of control, because after she finished crying, screaming, telling him how
- 2:58:28much she hated him, she said, the only way for you to make
- 2:58:33this better is for us to kill her. Good God, that escalated quickly.
- 2:58:41Yeah, so I said, it was like wam bam, thank you,
- 2:58:46ma'am, and nobody wore protection. Basically is how it goes. So
- 2:58:56Adriana went missing, case went cald, Diane went off to excuse me.
- 2:59:03David went off to the Naval Academy, and Diane went off to the army.
- 2:59:11They stayed together even though they were physically apart. However, Diana,
- 2:59:18because as I always say, nobody can keep a secret, especially not a
- 2:59:22female, or not the females that I know. I shouldn't generalize, but
- 2:59:26not the females I know. So she became friends with this guy and she
- 2:59:33started telling him her secret. And you might be saying, what is that
- 2:59:39secret? Wow? She no, not Victoria's secrets. Like my grandmother always
- 2:59:48said. Mama used to tell me Victoria she got no secrets because she done
- 2:59:52show all of them. I was gonna say, Victoria doesn't have any doesn't
- 2:59:58have any secrets left. Ah shame yep. My mom all was with you.
- 3:00:03She was like, do not buy your underwear from there. Everybody has
- 3:00:07seen them, and me being me, I was like, they haven't seen
- 3:00:11them on me. Well, So, like I said, they were off
- 3:00:20at their own places, but they remained together, but she told this male
- 3:00:26friend about this, and then she told her roommates that she and David were
- 3:00:31responsible for murdering somebody. So those roommates were upstanding citizens. I mean,
- 3:00:39you don't go into the military and want to be in the military to be
- 3:00:43a bad person, right, So they actually went and reported it to a
- 3:00:50Navy chaplain and it was within a matter of days that this cold case was
- 3:00:58no longer cold because they alerted Texas and the detectives flew to Annapolis, where
- 3:01:05Diane was attending the Naval Academy. See I have it backwards. They both
- 3:01:11went to military just opposite places. Initially, she denied her confession, claiming
- 3:01:18that she made it up. She was just trying to be tough and impress
- 3:01:24her fellow cadets. But the police had no evidence on her, so they
- 3:01:31had to continue their investigation. However, the academy suspended her and sent her
- 3:01:39home. But instead of going home, she did what every crazy female does.
- 3:01:48She flew to go to see David. Little did she know that the
- 3:01:56police were not far behind them because they were following her. So they banked
- 3:02:03David on for question. I'm like, what were you thinking? You don't
- 3:02:09go to your counterpart. But okay. But David initially denied, denied,
- 3:02:15denied. He goes, I don't know why she would make up them lies,
- 3:02:18she'd be lying. Well, guess what, it was a softie.
- 3:02:24It didn't take very long for him to break down and start singing, and
- 3:02:30he gave a four and a half page front and back confession of what happened.
- 3:02:39So I'm not going to read you the full confession. It's out there
- 3:02:45if you want to see it. It is some bunny boiler stuff. But
- 3:02:50David claimed that Diane had coerced him into killing Adriana due to his prior infidelity
- 3:02:56with her. David stated that Dian threatened to leave him if he didn't comply,
- 3:03:03and declared no one could stand between me and Diane. I mean,
- 3:03:13guys, remember they had been together like a month and got engaged. Where
- 3:03:20else could this possibly have gone? Right? God? Yeah? So,
- 3:03:26I mean he gave all of the gruesome details. Now it included that he
- 3:03:35went Adriana agreed to sneak out, so he went and picked her up.
- 3:03:41Little did she know, Diane was hiding in the hatchback with a dumb bell
- 3:03:48great and while they were driving down the road, she pulls out a dumbbell
- 3:03:54and beat Adriana in the head, and Adriana tried to escape. She opened
- 3:04:03the door and jumped out, and David said, he goes. I was
- 3:04:11shocked to see that the dumbbell didn't kill her. It wasn't anything like the
- 3:04:15movie show. I thought we would hit her a couple of times and she'd
- 3:04:18be dead. And my thought there is it's just like DNA. You don't
- 3:04:24get DNA back in thirty minutes, people, it doesn't. But so Adriana
- 3:04:31jumped out. She got away, but she didn't get very far because it
- 3:04:37did a lot of damage hitting someone in the head repeatedly with a dumbbell.
- 3:04:41But she tried. David jumped out of the car, got her, and
- 3:04:46he shut her twice in the head, and they dumped her body. Now,
- 3:04:54after they did this, they went to a friend's house. Mind you,
- 3:04:58this friend did not turn them in. But this friend let them in
- 3:05:03and let them shower and change clothes because they were covered in blood. Let
- 3:05:09me repeat, the friend did not call the cops. No, of course
- 3:05:16not so I at eighteen. I'm just gonna say, my bestie could have
- 3:05:26shown up covered in blood. If she was with her boyfriend and they told
- 3:05:31me what they did, I would have been calling the cops. Now,
- 3:05:33if she showed up and she killed her boyfriend because he beat her, I'd
- 3:05:37probably help her hide the body and then we would call the cops. But
- 3:05:41that's a totally different scenario, right, I mean, we're not there.
- 3:05:45But weren't there, but the friend asked no questions apparently, but they were
- 3:05:50both arrested in charge with murder. Now, Diane expressed callousness, and she
- 3:05:56stated that Adriana deserved her faith and that anyone who came between her and David
- 3:06:03had to die and deserve to die. Now, the motive behind Adriana's murder
- 3:06:13stemmed, of course, from jealousy, anger, and desire for revenge.
- 3:06:18And it was because David told Diane that he had this a fairy cheated with
- 3:06:24Adriana, and it triggered I'm sure feelings, eighteen year old girl, all
- 3:06:28of the feelings that you feel he wants somebody else. You weren't good enough,
- 3:06:35all of those things, right, and then they planned this careful killing.
- 3:06:41Well, here's the crazy thing. David lied, he did not cheat
- 3:06:48on her with Adriana, So it was a lie. His lie lost this
- 3:06:58sixteen year old girl her life. He could have at any point said I
- 3:07:05just made it up. I was just trying to get your attention. He
- 3:07:11never cheated. It came out. He did not even drive Adriana home from
- 3:07:16the track event. She rode home with somebody else. Thean didn't even question,
- 3:07:26why didn't you tell me then that you drove her. I mean,
- 3:07:28there's just so many things. I just I remember being eighteen, and I
- 3:07:33remember being crazy. Because I am a firm believer that females all have crazy
- 3:07:39times in their lives, when they're relationships, when you're younger, there's different
- 3:07:46levels. But you don't lie and say you cheated to get somebody jealous,
- 3:07:52and especially when the person says, Okay, now we gotta kill her.
- 3:07:56You gotta come clean, dude. So I'm just going to say that they
- 3:08:03were both found guilty, not going to go into all of the gory details.
- 3:08:09The one thing that shocked me about Diane. She told one reporter that
- 3:08:16the plan was in her mind. They were going to kill Adriana, and
- 3:08:20then she was going to have sex with David next to Adriana's body to prove
- 3:08:28that she was better and more deserving. God, that's so much up.
- 3:08:37Yeah. So needless to say, neither one of them saw their careers where
- 3:08:46they wanted to be. You know, David wanted to be a fighter pilot,
- 3:08:50hence while we're drinking the infamous goose. And Diane was smart as well,
- 3:08:58and she had a good career ahead of her except where they got into
- 3:09:01this crazy tangled thing. Interesting enough, David confessed. She did confess,
- 3:09:11but later retracts it and says she lied in her confession. David has shown
- 3:09:16remorse, has apologized to the family, and he says he is exactly where
- 3:09:20he should be. He goes, I deserve to be where I am.
- 3:09:28Diane not so much. She has filed all of these appills. She is
- 3:09:31now out of the pills. I just say appeals. Yeah, anyway,
- 3:09:37the interesting thing appeals. Diane was granted permission to marry Stephen Mora just in
- 3:09:45two thousand and three while incarceinated. She never met him. They were pinpals.
- 3:09:52He was incarcerated somewhere else. They got married by proxy. Her mom
- 3:09:58and a male friend of hers stood in for the couple to get married.
- 3:10:05Did anybody know this happened? Did you know that you could get married by
- 3:10:15proxy. I think I had heard of something like that, but the difficulties
- 3:10:22just you know why I never had Well, guess what. They got divorced
- 3:10:28in two thousand and eight. Thankfully he's in prison too, and she didn't
- 3:10:33have to kill anybody because they got divorced, and it wasn't because he cheated
- 3:10:37or he didn't lie about cheating. But she changed her story. And this
- 3:10:45is the thing that is so frustrating. This has been in recent times claiming
- 3:10:48she was only guilty of being an accessory and said she didn't do the actual
- 3:10:56killing, which she did not you know, David did. But she did
- 3:11:01hit her in the head, so she did have aggravated assault. She helped
- 3:11:07him plan it, she helped him cover it up. So she's a lot
- 3:11:13more involved than she wants to admit to now. David, like I said,
- 3:11:20he's expressed remorse. Now he also got married. Didn't find out if
- 3:11:26it was biproxy or anything. The interesting thing to me, he's gotten a
- 3:11:31bachelor's degree while in prison in criminology. I feel like that's a pretty common
- 3:11:37occurrence these days. And now he's doing seminary school because he wants to be
- 3:11:43a jail house pastor. Now. The only thing I can say, he's
- 3:11:50at least owned up to the mistake he made. I mean, he was
- 3:11:54eighteen. We've got to take in the account that at eighteen, your brain
- 3:12:00you're thinking it's not fully formed, you know. Trying to give a little
- 3:12:07bit of compassion, not saying he doesn't deserve. I do appreciate the fact
- 3:12:15that he agrees he's where he should be and he deserves the punishment he got.
- 3:12:18I at least admire the fact he's owning it and has told her family
- 3:12:26that much. Now. He also started a blog from prison called prison News
- 3:12:31Exposed and what he does. And I found this interesting. He writes letters
- 3:12:37to a third party who posted on his behalf because they do not have access
- 3:12:41to computers. Wow, And I found that, you know, was kind
- 3:12:48of interest in interest ins That didn't sound right now. One of Adriana's close
- 3:12:56friends, Jeff Lackey, found that interesting considering we're covering Chase Lackey case,
- 3:13:03but they're not related. But I just found that little Texas, I'm just
- 3:13:11I'm getting an a today. But he described that he visited the gruesome scene
- 3:13:16where her body was found right after she was found. He said the grass
- 3:13:22was soaked in a crimson color and you could see an outline of her body
- 3:13:26pressed into the grass. And he said that she was one of the nicest,
- 3:13:37kindest people, and you can ask her for anything and she would be
- 3:13:43there for you even if you didn't know her. A stranger could walk up,
- 3:13:48So she was one of those good people. Now, Adriana had a
- 3:13:54couple of brothers. One of them expressed his inability to hate David and I
- 3:14:01found this interesting. He stated. He goes, I can't hate him because
- 3:14:07he's an animal, and animals are ignorant, dumb, and blind. Now
- 3:14:16I just have to go on record and say I get what he's trying to
- 3:14:20say, but let's not say that about poor little animals. They're not ignorant,
- 3:14:26they're not dumb, they're not blind. Right, I mean, I
- 3:14:30get what he's trying to say that you know, it's an animal, you
- 3:14:33can't hate him. But the other brother said, he runs so many lives,
- 3:14:41so many families, and unlike my brother, I can hate an animal
- 3:14:45and I can hate David Graham. So interesting, you know, from opposite
- 3:14:54sides. But two brothers, so they are both in prison. They are
- 3:15:00eligible for parole when they are fifty eight years old. Now knowing it's Texas,
- 3:15:09I really don't imagine that they will be granted parole that quickly. I
- 3:15:22left out a lot of the gruesome details because I just couldn't after the more
- 3:15:28case we just did, so I skipped a lot of that. I and
- 3:15:35the reason this case interested in me is the fact that we, not we,
- 3:15:43but society. We always blame men, or a lot of times it's
- 3:15:48the men that are manipulating domestic violence and things. Diana was able to manipulate
- 3:15:56him, and she was good at it. And if he would have never
- 3:16:03started dating her, his life would have probably been a lot different. And
- 3:16:11yeah, for sure, he made a comment that his bad decision was killing
- 3:16:18Adriana, and I would like to say, your first bad decision was dating
- 3:16:22her. You know, I can tell you they are no longer in contact.
- 3:16:31Their love did not last, and she, of course says it was
- 3:16:37all him and she's innocent. So I suspect he will get out on parole
- 3:16:46before her because he's owned it. He's trying to better himself. I could
- 3:16:52not find anywhere that she has done anything like that. All she is doing
- 3:16:58is that they're screaming thing, I'm innocent. I didn't do it. I
- 3:17:03was bamboozled, YadA, YadA, YadA, And that is my case.
- 3:17:11And now it sounded like a man even more, but that is my case.
- 3:17:18I kept it short because I knew the Chase Lackey update was a little
- 3:17:24long. Yeah, tonight, But it's a good case. There's a lot
- 3:17:31of craziness. I will say it is a case. When the podcast is
- 3:17:37posted, you'll see all of the sources. She has flipped and flopped like
- 3:17:43a fish out of water with her stories. And I never thought I would
- 3:17:52say I admired a murderer, that I admire him for owning what he did
- 3:18:00wrong. Yep. I mean he was eighteen, she was eighteen. You
- 3:18:07know, they were both young, and you know they made some really bad
- 3:18:11decisions and they ruined their lives. But it shows that he does have a
- 3:18:18chance of maybe maybe being maybe accepted back into society. Maybe. So that's
- 3:18:37all like that, well as everybody in chat and you have probably seen I
- 3:18:43am struggle busting, I know, So let's shut this down. I will
- 3:18:48say thank you for listening to True Crime and wine time. Until next time,
- 3:18:56Stay safe, Watch out for crime and in enjoy your wine time.
