- 0:00Speaker 1: Woo!
- 0:01Speaker 2: Stu Gatz.
- 0:01Speaker 1: Woo!
- 0:02Speaker 3: I gotta be honest with you, Bruce, there's a good
- 0:03Speaker 3: chance I'd be high anyway.
- 0:05Speaker 2: Woo!
- 0:05Speaker 4: And I'm wondering how the football weekend was. Were you
- 0:07Speaker 4: able to watch it? Wow, what happened?
- 0:09Speaker 3: Oh, I'm tired of him.
- 0:12Speaker 4: I'm serious.
- 0:13Speaker 3: How about that?
- 0:14Speaker 2: In company. We are mother shuckers, baby.
- 0:17Speaker 3: Woo!
- 0:17Speaker 1: Bruce, does Faison Brandon's name sound like it's on backwards?
- 0:20Speaker 4: No doubt.
- 0:21Speaker 1: It's time to get your.
- 0:23Speaker 1: It's time to get your racket to get the all boat,
- 0:27Speaker 1: the all boat.
- 0:27Speaker 3: You got nothing right there.
- 0:29Speaker 1: This is not going well.
- 0:31Speaker 2: This is Stu Gotts and company.
- 0:34Speaker 4: Stu back to you.
- 0:35Speaker 3: We will get to if the season ended today here
- 0:38Speaker 3: in just a minute. One of the things we did
- 0:40Speaker 3: not discuss yesterday was Camario Taylor.
- 0:44Speaker 4: Speaking of Taylor, Taylor. What is going on with Kamario Taylor?
- 0:49Speaker 4: Tell me, please.
- 0:50Speaker 1: Yeah, I feel bad for Mississippi State fans today because
- 0:52Speaker 1: Kamario Taylor was like a shooting star across the SEC
- 0:56Speaker 1: where everybody was talking about Mississippi State for the first
- 0:59Speaker 1: time since probably the Dak Prescott era where that Mississippi
- 1:02Speaker 1: State team was a top five team in the country.
- 1:05Speaker 3: Yep.
- 1:05Speaker 1: They were finally having their moment in the sun, and
- 1:08Speaker 1: then it comes out yesterday from Pete Thamel. Sources say...
- 1:12Speaker 1: Mississippi State star quarterback Camario Taylor will miss the rest
- 1:16Speaker 1: of the season as he faces surgery on his injured toe.
- 1:19Speaker 1: Taylor has an appointment today to get his toe checked
- 1:22Speaker 1: out by a specialist and could have surgery as early
- 1:25Speaker 1: as tomorrow. He's expected to make a full recovery.
- 1:28Speaker 3: All right.
- 1:29Speaker 4: Nice knowing you, Mississippi State.
- 1:32Speaker 1: Yeah, like if you're a Mississippi State fan today, I
- 1:35Speaker 1: think you are questioning life because you don't have too
- 1:38Speaker 1: many moments to get excited about Mississippi State sports.
- 1:42Speaker 4: Right.
- 1:42Speaker 1: And you finally have your quarterback. And I think if
- 1:44Speaker 1: you're a Mississippi State fan today, you're asking yourself, have
- 1:48Speaker 1: we seen the last of Kamario Taylor? Because I would
- 1:51Speaker 1: not be surprised if he's not in Starkville next year.
- 1:54Speaker 4: Let me answer that question. They have seen the last
- 1:56Speaker 4: of Kamario Taylor.
- 2:00Speaker 5: Everybody seems to think that he's... He grew up a
- 2:06Speaker 5: Mississippi State fan. That's always where he wanted to go,
- 2:08Speaker 5: that it's not about all the other stuff. As a
- 2:11Speaker 5: matter of fact, I would say that if he comes
- 2:14Speaker 5: out and says, I'm not going anywhere, I'm staying at
- 2:16Speaker 5: Mississippi State, the fact that he's out the rest of
- 2:19Speaker 5: the year could actually help Mississippi State because it will
- 2:22Speaker 5: make him the destination for some players in the portal
- 2:26Speaker 5: that go, you know what? I'd like to play with
- 2:28Speaker 5: that guy. And then maybe next year they build a
- 2:31Speaker 5: little something and they can make a run.
- 2:33Speaker 3: Yeah, but I think it's easier for Kamario Taylor to
- 2:35Speaker 3: go somewhere that has a legitimate shot of winning a
- 2:38Speaker 3: national championship than trying to convince all these kids to
- 2:41Speaker 3: come to Starkville, Mississippi to play for Mississippi State.
- 2:46Speaker 1: Mikey, what you have to realize... Mississippi State is never
- 2:50Speaker 1: a destination for people.
- 2:52Speaker 3: Not even with that quarterback.
- 2:53Speaker 5: It's not a destination for me or you or most
- 2:56Speaker 5: of the other people. But if you grew up in
- 2:58Speaker 5: the area and you're like, that's where I want to play,
- 3:01Speaker 5: I want to go to Mississippi State, Dak Prescott's my hero,
- 3:04Speaker 5: whatever the lineage is, then maybe it is. And if
- 3:07Speaker 5: he says, I want to stay, he is good enough
- 3:11Speaker 5: to make them better in the long term than– you know,
- 3:16Speaker 5: they are bad enough to make him leave.
- 3:18Speaker 4: Mikey, we all grow up and we're fans of certain teams.
- 3:22Speaker 3: And it's a nice story to, to play for the
- 3:24Speaker 3: team that you grew up being a fan of. But
- 3:26Speaker 3: the one thing universally we're all fans of two things, money,
- 3:32Speaker 3: and winning. Yeah. And if he can get those two
- 3:35Speaker 3: things elsewhere, Camario Taylor is leaving the school that he loves.
- 3:39Speaker 1: I think there is some truth there to what Mikey's
- 3:41Speaker 1: saying though, where Camario Taylor grows up right down the
- 3:44Speaker 1: street from Mississippi state.
- 3:46Speaker 3: Right.
- 3:46Speaker 1: And I don't really question if Mississippi state's going to
- 3:49Speaker 1: have the funds to be able to keep Camario Taylor.
- 3:52Speaker 1: I think where Mississippi state runs into problems is if
- 3:54Speaker 1: you allocate as much resources as it's needed to keep
- 3:58Speaker 1: somebody like Camario Taylor in Do you have enough money
- 4:01Speaker 1: for the rest of your roster? And then that's where
- 4:04Speaker 1: it becomes a tricky situation.
- 4:05Speaker 2: Right.
- 4:05Speaker 4: He takes up the entire cap.
- 4:06Speaker 3: I can't believe we're talking about this in college football
- 4:10Speaker 3: in 2026.
- 4:11Speaker 1: Also, this Oregon State receiver that's setting all these numbers
- 4:18Speaker 1: this season as a freshman who comes out and he
- 4:21Speaker 1: has the press conference announcing he's returning.
- 4:23Speaker 2: Yep.
- 4:24Speaker 1: I think there's something fishy there. If I had to
- 4:27Speaker 1: bet right now, he's not at Oregon State week one
- 4:30Speaker 1: next season.
- 4:30Speaker 4: Does this wide receiver have a name? Jesse LeGray, I believe.
- 4:34Speaker 3: Okay.
- 4:36Speaker 4: So you have him leaving as well.
- 4:38Speaker 1: Yeah, I think this is an entire PR stunt, him
- 4:40Speaker 1: coming out and saying that he's re-signing with Oregon State.
- 4:43Speaker 1: I think if Oregon State's coach leaves, because Oregon State
- 4:47Speaker 1: has been a surprise this season, and if their coach,
- 4:51Speaker 1: Marcus Schumacher, Who's their coach? Marcus Shepard? Jamarcus Shepard. Yeah.
- 4:55Speaker 1: If Jamarcus Shepard gets a bigger offer this year, he's
- 4:58Speaker 1: going to be leaving Oregon State, and I think that's
- 5:01Speaker 1: Legree's chance to say, I wanted to commit. The coach left.
- 5:05Speaker 1: I'm going to leave now, so see you later.
- 5:07Speaker 4: Mm-hmm.
- 5:08Speaker 2: More likely at the same school next year, Kamario Taylor
- 5:11Speaker 2: or that wide receiver?
- 5:12Speaker 4: That wide receiver. Kamario Taylor's gone. Kamari Go Taylor.
- 5:16Speaker 2: Kamari No Taylor.
- 5:21Speaker 3: I mean, he's gone. And why wouldn't he leave? And
- 5:26Speaker 3: Starksville and Mississippi State should just be happy that for
- 5:29Speaker 3: a fleeting moment, for four games, they were relevant. Let's
- 5:35Speaker 3: get to if the.
- 5:35Speaker 4: Season ended today. You had more there, Mikey? I'm sorry.
- 5:41Speaker 5: No.
- 5:42Speaker 3: All right.
- 5:44Speaker 2: Anyway. All right.
- 5:46Speaker 1: I do have more there, actually.
- 5:47Speaker 3: Okay.
- 5:48Speaker 4: Turn the music off.
- 5:49Speaker 3: Come on.
- 5:49Speaker 2: I got to turn the music off.
- 5:50Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 5:51Speaker 1: Kamario Taylor with the turf toe injury?
- 5:53Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 5:55Speaker 1: I think turf toe might be the worst name injury
- 5:57Speaker 1: in sports.
- 5:57Speaker 2: Yep.
- 5:57Speaker 4: Kamari toe.
- 5:58Speaker 2: Easily.
- 5:59Speaker 3: Nothing.
- 6:00Speaker 2: It's easily the worst.
- 6:01Speaker 1: Kamari toe.
- 6:03Speaker 3: Don't repeat the joke. I had to stop.
- 6:06Speaker 5: I had to stop mid-sentence because it was like.
- 6:10Speaker 2: A bad smell that hit me.
- 6:13Speaker 3: The T in Taylor stands for turf toe.
- 6:15Speaker 1: Anyway, nothing about turf toe sounds like remotely serious. It
- 6:19Speaker 1: sounds like something you get from like walking barefoot in
- 6:22Speaker 1: your backyard. Not an injury that could sideline a professional
- 6:26Speaker 1: athlete for months.
- 6:27Speaker 4: I will tell you this.
- 6:28Speaker 3: I agree with you, but I have had several professional
- 6:30Speaker 3: athletes tell me they've experienced turf toe.
- 6:33Speaker 4: And it's as painful as anything they've ever experienced.
- 6:35Speaker 1: It's the PR. Turf Toe needs to undergo PR. Where
- 6:39Speaker 1: if you called it planter plate rupture, everybody's like, oh,
- 6:42Speaker 1: my God, that sounds life threatening. Rupture?
- 6:45Speaker 2: Oh, no. Yes. No. Yes.
- 6:47Speaker 3: Rupture sounds worse than broken.
- 6:49Speaker 2: Correct.
- 6:50Speaker 3: Yes. Put it on the poll. Does a ruptured anything
- 6:54Speaker 3: sound worse than a broken anything?
- 6:56Speaker 1: Is it the word turf or toe?
- 6:58Speaker 4: It's toe, right?
- 6:59Speaker 1: It's turf.
- 7:00Speaker 3: It just doesn't come off as a menace.
- 7:02Speaker 1: It's the combination of the two?
- 7:03Speaker 3: They're playing a menacing sport. They tackle each other for
- 7:06Speaker 3: a living. They hit each other very, very hard. And
- 7:09Speaker 3: it just feels like he got his toe stuck in
- 7:11Speaker 3: the turf. And so it's not, yes.
- 7:13Speaker 5: I have grass finger. It's the same thing. It's like, no,
- 7:16Speaker 5: it just doesn't sound right.
- 7:20Speaker 3: Did you say grass finger? Yes.
- 7:23Speaker 2: Turf toe, grass finger.
- 7:25Speaker 3: I'm not repeating the joke. I understood where you were
- 7:31Speaker 3: going there.
- 7:32Speaker 4: Oh, God. Camario, it is. Turf toe, put it on
- 7:36Speaker 4: the poll. Does turf toe have bad PR?
- 7:39Speaker 3: Yes.
- 7:40Speaker 4: Right.
- 7:42Speaker 5: Can I ask you guys another question before we get
- 7:44Speaker 5: to if the season ended today?
- 7:45Speaker 3: Sure.
- 7:46Speaker 5: I have like a reverse one table in my mind
- 7:49Speaker 5: that I've been trying to figure out.
- 7:50Speaker 4: Okay. Let's talk it out.
- 7:52Speaker 5: If two places were offering the same guy a table
- 7:57Speaker 5: and he had to pick them and he had to
- 8:00Speaker 5: pick which table he go to.
- 8:02Speaker 2: Right.
- 8:02Speaker 5: Does Michael Irvin go to the table in Miami or
- 8:04Speaker 5: the table in Dallas?
- 8:06Speaker 3: Hmm.
- 8:07Speaker 4: I see what you're doing here, but why would he
- 8:10Speaker 4: be kind of a reverse?
- 8:11Speaker 3: Yeah, but you have them in two cities trying to
- 8:13Speaker 3: get two reservations in two separate cities.
- 8:15Speaker 4: You know what I'm saying?
- 8:16Speaker 5: Well, It's as opposed to them picking which person gets it.
- 8:21Speaker 2: The person is picking which table he wants.
- 8:23Speaker 4: Well, picking which restaurant he wants to go into.
- 8:26Speaker 2: Yes.
- 8:26Speaker 4: Right.
- 8:27Speaker 3: So you have, like, again, you have, I don't know,
- 8:30Speaker 3: Aikman Steakhouse in Dallas. And you have Toretto's Steakhouse in Miami,
- 8:36Speaker 3: although it's in the Heisman House. Which one would Michael
- 8:40Speaker 3: choose to go to? It's odd that he would have
- 8:42Speaker 3: two reservations. One in Dallas, one in Miami. That's all
- 8:44Speaker 3: I'm saying. We're talking it out, though. That's what we do.
- 8:47Speaker 2: Listen, Michael flies off the handle a little bit.
- 8:49Speaker 1: I don't think this is even a debate. He's not
- 8:52Speaker 1: going to Dallas. He's going to Miami. Look how much
- 8:54Speaker 1: time Michael Irvin spends in Miami.
- 8:57Speaker 2: He was there last night.
- 8:59Speaker 1: Yeah, he was in Philadelphia in Jerry's box, but we
- 9:02Speaker 1: don't see him on Dallas Cowboys' sidelines during games.
- 9:05Speaker 4: Well, they won't let him.
- 9:06Speaker 1: We see Michael Irvin on all fours barking like a dog,
- 9:09Speaker 1: cheering on Malachi Toney and Darian Mensah.
- 9:11Speaker 3: Yes, that's not happening in the NFL, but it can
- 9:14Speaker 3: happen in college because he's a legend there.
- 9:17Speaker 4: I think he does prefer Miami. It's a ridiculous game.
- 9:21Speaker 2: I would love to ask him.
- 9:22Speaker 3: Well, no, but it has to be two restaurants in
- 9:25Speaker 3: the same city.
- 9:26Speaker 4: So he's in Miami.
- 9:28Speaker 3: And he has to choose between Sapp's Steakhouse and Toretto's Steakhouse.
- 9:32Speaker 4: Which one is he going with? You know? Or if
- 9:36Speaker 4: he's in Dallas, it's got to be Emmett's or Troy's.
- 9:38Speaker 4: That's not what I'm asking.
- 9:39Speaker 3: Yes. Well, no, but you have them making reservations and
- 9:41Speaker 3: clamoring for a reservation in two cities that are separated
- 9:45Speaker 3: by 3,000 miles. I don't know.
- 9:47Speaker 2: Michael Urban doesn't clamor for a reservation.
- 9:50Speaker 4: He just gets it.
- 9:50Speaker 5: Michael Urban walks in and he gets the one table
- 9:53Speaker 5: in 99% of the country.
- 9:55Speaker 1: But, Mikey, to play your game your way, I know
- 9:57Speaker 1: what Mikey's doing. It would be like Charles Barkley. He's
- 10:00Speaker 1: got two reservations, one in Philadelphia, one in Phoenix. Which
- 10:03Speaker 1: one does Charles Barkley go to?
- 10:05Speaker 4: Right.
- 10:06Speaker 3: But why would he have a reservation? Again, I'm getting
- 10:08Speaker 3: bogged down on the details, your minor details, but why?
- 10:11Speaker 3: Someone help me.
- 10:12Speaker 5: Why is there only one table? Don't pull that thread.
- 10:15Speaker 5: You're just going to wind up going somewhere you don't
- 10:17Speaker 5: need to go.
- 10:18Speaker 3: No, there's one table because it's a very popular spot
- 10:21Speaker 3: in town, and he only has one table left.
- 10:23Speaker 4: That's it.
- 10:24Speaker 5: And if these are the people that are walking in,
- 10:26Speaker 5: somebody who made a reservation six months ago and has
- 10:29Speaker 5: been waiting, some accountant, is getting kicked out. Sorry.
- 10:33Speaker 3: I know.
- 10:33Speaker 2: Michael Irvin needs that table.
- 10:34Speaker 3: But if I make a reservation in Boca, I'm not
- 10:37Speaker 3: also making a reservation in, you know, I don't know,
- 10:40Speaker 3: Colorado Springs.
- 10:41Speaker 1: It might be a situation where you make two reservations
- 10:44Speaker 1: and you're waiting to see where you want to take
- 10:46Speaker 1: your vacation. So that could be the scenario.
- 10:49Speaker 3: There you go. All right.
- 10:51Speaker 1: You have the, you, you booked two of these reservations.
- 10:53Speaker 3: I'm thinking about a trip to Miami. I'm thinking about
- 10:55Speaker 3: a trip to Dallas. There are two restaurants. Okay. That's different.
- 10:58Speaker 2: Okay.
- 10:59Speaker 1: I mean, so at Barkley, I think it's Phoenix. Uh,
- 11:04Speaker 1: over Philadelphia.
- 11:05Speaker 3: He went to the finals in Phoenix. He never made
- 11:07Speaker 3: it to an NBA finals in Philadelphia.
- 11:09Speaker 4: I don't know. Uh, I I'm guessing Phoenix as well.
- 11:13Speaker 3: Yes. Dan Marley steakhouse Thunderdads. Let's get to if the
- 11:18Speaker 3: season ended today. It's a good thought, Mikey.
- 11:24Speaker 1: It's all I can think about right now.

- 12:59Speaker 3: Ended today, tradition unlike any other on a Wednesday.
- 13:02Speaker 4: Yes.
- 13:03Speaker 2: All right. Well, we'll start here.
- 13:06Speaker 5: If the season ended today, the Los Angeles Chargers are
- 13:09Speaker 5: still on the clock at 0-6.
- 13:10Speaker 2: Unbelievable. They're taking Jeremiah Smith, right?
- 13:13Speaker 4: I don't know. I honestly don't know. I mean, I guess.
- 13:19Speaker 2: I can see Robert Sala talking to the defensive tackle.
- 13:22Speaker 1: You can't take a quarterback at one if you're in
- 13:23Speaker 1: the Chargers.
- 13:24Speaker 4: Well, you can.
- 13:26Speaker 3: I'm not certain they shouldn't. You can take a quarterback
- 13:28Speaker 3: at number one. Their quarterback's been absolutely dreadful. But then
- 13:31Speaker 3: you're admitting that the quarterback is no longer. He's not
- 13:34Speaker 3: your guy anymore. Because you're not taking this guy in
- 13:37Speaker 3: the third, fourth round. You're taking him number one overall.
- 13:40Speaker 3: I would think if they love Herbert the way they
- 13:44Speaker 3: say they love Justin Herbert, I would think Jeremiah Smith.
- 13:47Speaker 3: Or they would trade down.
- 13:49Speaker 4: That's it.
- 13:50Speaker 3: Trade down.
- 13:52Speaker 4: We'll trade down. Yes.
- 13:54Speaker 2: We'll trade down.
- 13:55Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 13:55Speaker 4: They need pieces.
- 13:56Speaker 1: All right.
- 13:57Speaker 5: If the season ended today, the Kansas City Chiefs, surprise, surprise,
- 14:02Speaker 5: are still your one seed.
- 14:06Speaker 2: Your two seed.
- 14:09Speaker 5: It's the Buffalo Bills, and they are hosting the Cincinnati Bengals.
- 14:13Speaker 2: Oh, my God.
- 14:14Speaker 4: What a matchup.
- 14:15Speaker 2: Sign me up.
- 14:18Speaker 3: That's wild card weekend, right? What does that get? Sunday,
- 14:21Speaker 3: 4 o'clock?
- 14:22Speaker 4: Yes.
- 14:23Speaker 2: That's your Sunday night.
- 14:24Speaker 1: Sunday night.
- 14:25Speaker 2: That's your Sunday night game. Yes.
- 14:27Speaker 1: First playoff game in the new Highmark Stadium. I'd go
- 14:31Speaker 1: to that game.
- 14:31Speaker 4: Put me through a table.
- 14:33Speaker 3: That's all you can think of, the new Highmark Stadium.
- 14:36Speaker 4: It's Burrow and Josh Allen in Buffalo.
- 14:39Speaker 1: That's how you christen a new stadium, though, in the playoffs.
- 14:41Speaker 3: Yes.
- 14:42Speaker 4: That would be the worst case. Josh Allen just trying
- 14:44Speaker 4: to make a Super Bowl.
- 14:45Speaker 2: He's there.
- 14:46Speaker 1: Last person you want to see coming into your stadium
- 14:48Speaker 1: would be Joe Burrow.
- 14:49Speaker 3: Just strolling into your stadium, not giving a bleep about anything.
- 14:52Speaker 2: In slow motion. Doesn't care about any of it.
- 14:54Speaker 1: Somehow Joe Burrow always looks like he's walking in slow motion.
- 14:57Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 14:57Speaker 4: Put it on the poll. Does Joe Burrow always look
- 14:59Speaker 4: like he's walking in slow motion? Yeah.
- 15:04Speaker 3: He comes in, finger guns blazing.
- 15:06Speaker 4: He don't care. He's made it to a Super Bowl.
- 15:08Speaker 3: He's not the guy that everyone's talking about has to
- 15:11Speaker 3: make it to a Super Bowl.
- 15:12Speaker 4: He's been there.
- 15:12Speaker 3: Now he has to win one. Josh Allen hasn't even
- 15:15Speaker 3: been there. It's the last person Josh Allen wants to
- 15:18Speaker 3: see strolling into Highmark Stadium wildcard weekend. I mean, I'd
- 15:22Speaker 3: still take the Bills, though.
- 15:26Speaker 2: With the points?
- 15:27Speaker 3: We'll see.
- 15:29Speaker 1: Bills went outright. Buy it up to minus five.
- 15:31Speaker 3: Yep.
- 15:32Speaker 4: Bills advance.
- 15:33Speaker 2: I love the way you're thinking.
- 15:35Speaker 5: Well, we gave you the Sunday night game, and now
- 15:38Speaker 5: your second game. Let's go to Saturday afternoon, where the
- 15:41Speaker 5: Cleveland Browns host the Pittsburgh Steelers.
- 15:44Speaker 4: Yep, that is a Saturday afternoon game, if I've ever
- 15:46Speaker 4: heard of one.
- 15:47Speaker 2: That's your Saturday 4 o'clock.
- 15:48Speaker 1: No love lost.
- 15:49Speaker 2: 425.
- 15:50Speaker 3: When you're out doing things. What's the matchup again?
- 15:59Speaker 2: Pittsburgh-Cleveland.
- 16:00Speaker 4: So Cleveland's hosting a home playoff game.
- 16:03Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 16:04Speaker 4: Unbelievable. They have a three-seed.
- 16:05Speaker 2: They have a three-seed in the AFC. That's amazing.
- 16:08Speaker 4: It's amazing. It's amazing that they're in first place right now.
- 16:13Speaker 3: Incredible. So the Browns, Deshaun Watson taking on Aaron Rodgers.
- 16:19Speaker 3: The Steelers come strolling into town.
- 16:22Speaker 4: I mean, Taylor. I don't know.
- 16:25Speaker 3: I would take the Steelers here to win. Just Aaron, playoffs.
- 16:29Speaker 3: I don't know what I'm doing.
- 16:31Speaker 1: Give me the Browns.
- 16:31Speaker 3: I'm not trusting the Browns, even though they're the three
- 16:33Speaker 3: seed hosting a home game. I'm still not trusting that team.
- 16:36Speaker 3: Taylor takes the Browns. I take the Steelers. Steelers advance
- 16:39Speaker 3: for me.
- 16:39Speaker 2: All right.
- 16:42Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 16:42Speaker 2: And I don't know. I'm going to put this game.
- 16:44Speaker 2: I'm going to put this game Saturday night.
- 16:46Speaker 3: Okay. Good enough. All right.
- 16:47Speaker 2: Last game. Yeah.
- 16:49Speaker 5: Jacksonville hosting Denver.
- 16:56Speaker 3: Wow.
- 16:58Speaker 4: Bo Nix is back. If the season ended today.
- 17:02Speaker 2: If the season ended.
- 17:04Speaker 3: Defense is good. We don't trust Jacksonville. That's not really
- 17:07Speaker 3: a home game. A home game for Jacksonville is in London.
- 17:09Speaker 1: Defense travels, too.
- 17:11Speaker 4: Yeah, defense travels. I'd take Denver to win that game.
- 17:14Speaker 2: I would.
- 17:16Speaker 4: Bo Nix advances.
- 17:18Speaker 1: I would also pick Denver.
- 17:19Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 17:21Speaker 3: Wow. All right.
- 17:22Speaker 2: No love for Trevor Lawrence.
- 17:23Speaker 1: We just saw this matchup, didn't we, like two weeks
- 17:25Speaker 1: ago or a month ago maybe?
- 17:27Speaker 2: Week two.
- 17:28Speaker 1: Hard to beat a team twice, but I think Broncos
- 17:30Speaker 1: get it done.
- 17:31Speaker 4: The Broncos beat them in week two.
- 17:32Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 17:33Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 17:34Speaker 3: All right.
- 17:35Speaker 2: To the NFC. Yes.
- 17:36Speaker 5: Your number one seed, the worst team in the NFC North,
- 17:40Speaker 5: according to Taylor, the Minnesota Vikings.
- 17:44Speaker 2: They have the bye.
- 17:44Speaker 1: This is me just waiting for them to get out
- 17:46Speaker 1: of that bye spot so I can fade them.
- 17:48Speaker 3: Yes. Taylor said yesterday, hot take Tuesday, that the Vikings
- 17:52Speaker 3: being undefeated is the most shocking thing in the NFL,
- 17:55Speaker 3: and he thinks they're the worst team in.
- 17:57Speaker 4: That division, which is crazy.
- 17:58Speaker 2: They're 6-0.
- 18:00Speaker 4: I'm not certain I disagree. Who are they playing? They're
- 18:02Speaker 4: just the one seed.
- 18:03Speaker 1: They're the buy.
- 18:03Speaker 2: They're the one seed. Okay, so here's your first matchup.
- 18:06Speaker 5: I'm going to put this Monday night.
- 18:08Speaker 2: This is the big Monday night.
- 18:09Speaker 4: Okay.
- 18:10Speaker 2: Wild card weekend.
- 18:11Speaker 4: Yes.
- 18:12Speaker 2: The San Francisco 49ers hosting the Green Bay Packers. Wow. Wow.
- 18:18Speaker 1: This feels like a matchup out of 2002 where I'm
- 18:21Speaker 1: going to see Terrell Owens and Jeff Garcia and Brett Favre. Yep.
- 18:26Speaker 4: But you're not. You're going to see Brock Purdy and
- 18:27Speaker 4: all his wide receivers.
- 18:28Speaker 2: Antonio Freeman.
- 18:32Speaker 3: You're going to see Brock Purdy and Christian McCaffrey on
- 18:36Speaker 3: the sidelines on a stationary bike.
- 18:43Speaker 1: I got the Niners if they have enough players healthy.
- 18:46Speaker 3: They won't. I have the Packers. Wow. Next game.
- 18:51Speaker 2: Next game.
- 18:53Speaker 5: The Detroit Lions travel to MetLife Stadium to take on
- 18:58Speaker 5: the three-seed New York Giants.
- 19:00Speaker 4: Wow.
- 19:01Speaker 3: John Harbaugh, coach of the year, three-seed, hosting a playoff game.
- 19:06Speaker 2: JJ McCarthy getting revenge on the NFC North.
- 19:09Speaker 3: We should all be rooting for JJ McCarthy to play
- 19:12Speaker 3: against the Vikings in the next round. Oh, my God.
- 19:14Speaker 2: Yes. That would be pay-per-view.
- 19:17Speaker 4: Thank you for the music. It would be. Put it
- 19:19Speaker 4: on the poll.
- 19:20Speaker 3: If JJ McCarthy is a rematch with the Vikings in
- 19:23Speaker 3: the playoffs, would you pay to watch it?
- 19:26Speaker 1: Whatever you set the price at, I would double it.
- 19:30Speaker 1: And not even think twice about paying it.
- 19:32Speaker 3: Okay.
- 19:33Speaker 4: What's the matchup again?
- 19:35Speaker 1: Giants-Lions. I've got Giants big. I'm buying in on this
- 19:38Speaker 1: Giants team.
- 19:39Speaker 3: Unfortunately, I have the Lions winning that game. Jared Goff
- 19:41Speaker 3: having the best season of his career without Ben Johnson.
- 19:44Speaker 4: Threw that in there anyway a little shot at barn.
- 19:48Speaker 2: Burner yes all right last game yes.
- 19:53Speaker 5: Taylor's carolina panthers are hosting stew's all-time greatest quarterback caleb
- 20:00Speaker 5: williams of the chicago bears.
- 20:02Speaker 3: Easy easy peasy depends what carolina panthers you get Well,
- 20:08Speaker 3: you don't know until the game starts.
- 20:09Speaker 4: That's the problem.
- 20:11Speaker 1: You might get the greatest show on turf.
- 20:13Speaker 5: Yes.
- 20:13Speaker 1: You might get the Buccaneers when they were wearing the
- 20:15Speaker 1: creamsicle jerseys.
- 20:16Speaker 3: Right.
- 20:16Speaker 4: What happened to you and your love for Ben Johnson?
- 20:18Speaker 4: You might.
- 20:19Speaker 3: Listen, you're right. You never know what you're going to
- 20:21Speaker 3: get with Carolina. That's why we love them so much.
- 20:22Speaker 3: That's why they become America's team. But you know what
- 20:25Speaker 3: you're getting with Caleb and Ben.
- 20:27Speaker 1: Yeah, that's why once Mikey was going through the matchups,
- 20:29Speaker 1: I was thinking in my head what two teams hasn't
- 20:32Speaker 1: he said yet. And once I realized that it was
- 20:34Speaker 1: Panthers and Bears– I knew I was in a something-has-to-give
- 20:39Speaker 1: game for me because I love the Queen City. I
- 20:41Speaker 1: love the Charlotte Panthers. Love Bryce Young. But, man, Caleb
- 20:45Speaker 1: Williams and Ben Johnson. My Super Bowl pick right now.
- 20:48Speaker 1: They were number one on Taylor's power rankings.
- 20:50Speaker 4: I know.
- 20:51Speaker 3: Yep.
- 20:51Speaker 4: So we're both taking the Bears?
- 20:52Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 20:53Speaker 4: All right. What a wild card weekend.
- 20:56Speaker 1: No Patriots.
- 20:57Speaker 2: No Seahawks.
- 20:58Speaker 1: No Rams.
- 21:00Speaker 2: None of them.
- 21:04Speaker 3: Think about some of the coaches that made the playoffs
- 21:07Speaker 3: if the season ended today and some of the coaches
- 21:09Speaker 3: that didn't make the playoffs if the season ended today.
- 21:13Speaker 2: Wow.
- 21:16Speaker 3: It's a great wild card weekend.
- 21:17Speaker 4: Where's the music?
- 21:21Speaker 3: I got to tell you, I got to tell you,
- 21:23Speaker 3: I think Bill's Bengals goes Monday night.
- 21:25Speaker 4: I do.
- 21:28Speaker 2: No, Green Bay, San Francisco. They'll buy it just for
- 21:31Speaker 2: the logos.
- 21:32Speaker 4: Just for the uniforms?
- 21:33Speaker 2: They'll take that one just for the logos, yeah.
- 21:35Speaker 4: I guess you're right.
- 21:37Speaker 3: All right.
- 21:39Speaker 4: Saturday 425 is going to miss the Texans. I mean.
- 21:43Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 21:44Speaker 1: The classic T.J.
- 21:45Speaker 2: Yates spot. Case Keenum.
- 21:49Speaker 1: I don't know why I said that about T.J.
- 21:51Speaker 2: Yates.
- 21:51Speaker 1: I love T.J.
- 21:51Speaker 4: Yates. Well, because you know if the Texans.
- 21:53Speaker 2: If Caleb Williams is hurt. Yes. Yes.
- 21:55Speaker 5: And he starts for Chicago. They have to put that
- 21:57Speaker 5: at 4 o'clock, right? Just because that's the Case Keenum
- 22:00Speaker 5: time slot.
- 22:01Speaker 2: Saturday at 4 o'clock.
- 22:02Speaker 4: Yes. Backups go at 4 o'clock. Yep.
- 22:07Speaker 3: And if the Texans made it there somehow between the
- 22:10Speaker 3: time the season ended.
- 22:11Speaker 4: And that game, C.J. Straub would get hurt.
- 22:14Speaker 3: And then it would be our guy who won a
- 22:16Speaker 3: floaty last year.
- 22:16Speaker 4: Who was it? Davis Mills?
- 22:18Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 22:20Speaker 1: Mikey, what would the draft order be if the season
- 22:22Speaker 1: ended today? Because you would have to imagine.
- 22:25Speaker 4: Chargers won.
- 22:26Speaker 1: Yeah, the Chargers are at one. But you'd have to
- 22:28Speaker 1: imagine the Jets would be sitting in pole position because
- 22:34Speaker 1: the Cowboys.
- 22:35Speaker 4: They are anyway, Taylor. They have three picks. They can
- 22:37Speaker 4: trade up if they want.
- 22:38Speaker 1: Yeah, but that Colts pick keeps getting better every week.
- 22:40Speaker 4: I know.
- 22:42Speaker 5: It's going to get better, but as of right now,
- 22:44Speaker 5: it's not as like, oh, my God, as you think
- 22:47Speaker 5: it is.
- 22:48Speaker 2: Right now, the Jets would own the 7th, 10th, and
- 22:51Speaker 2: 12th pick. Hmm.
- 22:53Speaker 3: And it'd be great if the Chargers had the number
- 22:56Speaker 3: one overall pick. They'd be shopping that pick because they
- 22:58Speaker 3: don't want to take a quarterback. The Jets will be
- 23:00Speaker 3: sitting in a very good position.
- 23:03Speaker 2: Sure.
- 23:04Speaker 1: Drew Mestemaker, come on down.
- 23:05Speaker 4: Oh, God.
- 23:07Speaker 5: That's who it's going to be. That's who the first
- 23:10Speaker 5: quarterback is going to be. I think the Jets are
- 23:11Speaker 5: going to go after C.J.
- 23:12Speaker 3: Carr.
- 23:13Speaker 5: But your top five in the draft order are Chargers
- 23:16Speaker 5: at one, Titans at two, Dolphins at three, Commanders at four.
- 23:22Speaker 2: Houston Texans at five. And the Philadelphia Eagles are picking sixth.
- 23:27Speaker 4: Interesting.
- 23:28Speaker 3: So the Jets would have to jump ahead of the
- 23:29Speaker 3: Dolphins if there's a quarterback they truly love, right? And
- 23:33Speaker 3: they can because they have the draft capital to do so.
- 23:36Speaker 3: I can't believe I'm saying it. The Jets finally did
- 23:37Speaker 3: something right. They have draft capital.
- 23:40Speaker 2: Let's see what they do first.
- 23:41Speaker 3: Before, let's.
- 23:43Speaker 4: Oh, I'm not saying they're not going to ruin it,
- 23:44Speaker 4: but at least we have capital.
- 23:45Speaker 2: Oh, okay.
- 23:46Speaker 3: As long as we're not. I'm not saying.
- 23:48Speaker 1: The Jets control the draft.
- 23:50Speaker 3: Yes. We'll trade up to number one to take a guard.
- 23:54Speaker 1: There's nothing like controlling a draft.
- 23:56Speaker 4: Unless you're the Jets.
- 24:01Speaker 3: All right.
- 24:03Speaker 2: Can't wait until they take two corners. Yes.
- 24:05Speaker 3: Thankfully, there's more season to be played. But if the
- 24:07Speaker 3: season ended today, that's a doozy of a wild card weekend.
- 24:10Speaker 2: It's a doozy of a wild card weekend.
