- 0:00Let's analyze this concept of Hasidut's new idea on page
- 0:04three. Third, the concept is when you
- 0:08deal Hasidut, you're playing with real stuff and you can have
- 0:14real fakes. People who totally sketch the
- 0:17whole concept of Hasidut and have no concept of his.
- 0:20And I I think it was specifically, but I mean the
- 0:22concept of external stuff and then you can have recalls actual
- 0:28real Hasidim will understand the depth of this idea, which is
- 0:31taking person to a higher place. Let's see it through without the
- 0:34has due to a high Bemet le Bergador.
- 0:37This media specifically requires a lot of clarity.
- 0:41Kimenagim rabim with Rahim rabim, ovrim Ben rabim and
- 0:45rehadam. There are many different customs
- 0:48and ways that pass to many different people.
- 0:51But Shem has did under the title and the author on the title of
- 0:54Hasidut. They're not made like gourmet
- 0:56Hasidut. What they really are are just
- 0:59forms, external forms of Hasidut bleed, Torah bleed, Surah,
- 1:03obliticund. Without the form, the shape, the
- 1:06refinement, they're nothing. They're just external.
- 1:08What they always. What is person acting like he's
- 1:12really dedicated? This comes from a lack of
- 1:17analysis, vascular understanding, ha metique.
- 1:22If someone wants to be a Hasid, they need to reach that level.
- 1:24They need to build themselves up to that point, need to work the
- 1:27connection to Hashem through until the point they become a
- 1:30Hasid. Not just doing a bunch of
- 1:32practices and saying no, I checked my boxes externally,
- 1:35some Hasid. This by the way, is written
- 1:38before the constant existence of Hasidut even existed, as they
- 1:41appointed yesterday Kilo Terhu. What I mean, Hasid is the
- 1:45Hasidim that we have today did not exist during this time.
- 1:49Kilo Terhu velunity I Gul adat Ade Hashem, this person who
- 1:55attempts this external forms of being a Hassid again, what they
- 1:59are is different external signs of making it look like he's
- 2:03super dedicated to Hashem. He's starving himself a week at
- 2:06a time. He's not touching this and not
- 2:09touching that. Not going here, not going there
- 2:12under the guys under the title Hasidut.
- 2:14This is the best every week, right?
- 2:16It's the fast week to week or and think about one of the real
- 2:19classes. He also might have had some of
- 2:20them too. But if a guy does it the wrong
- 2:22way, it's like anything else that's extreme.
- 2:25If you do it extremely the wrong way, they're nuts.
- 2:27If you do it extremely the right way, whatever.
- 2:29If you do things that's extremely dedicated to ash and
- 2:31the right way, very high level of connection.
- 2:34It has to be built up. It has to be built up.
- 2:37I was like, for sure that's a shore.
- 2:39Because again, it has to all come from internal development
- 2:43of connection to Hashem. I'm so as close to our shame.
- 2:45So I'll do this that He wants and I'll do this in a finer way
- 2:48and this in a finer way. It can't be somebody jumping and
- 2:51say I want to copy what other people do.
- 2:54So let me, like I said, do you stall myself for a week without
- 2:58any explanation why? Or do you think the extreme
- 3:00without any understanding what I'm doing?
- 3:02So that's what you're saying. LA has do Valhuba machinist
- 3:05Aminlan, what they are doing. These people, these will call
- 3:09them kind of fake external Hasidim is it doing whatever
- 3:14comes the way the Fiesta Vera Harishina according to the
- 3:18original logics when it comes to their mind, they do it Ville and
- 3:21Miku, but the very they didn't, you know, delve into the depth
- 3:25of these concepts for those Shaku or Tom, nor do they weigh
- 3:30the mosnare Hokuma with the balance of wisdom.
- 3:33These people have. What's the exact word?
- 3:39They they they spoiled, they sullied, right?
- 3:42They dirtied the image of Hasdut Bena, Mona Nashim.
- 3:46It's not stom. It's not simply that they're not
- 3:48doing a good job. They're ruining if everyone else
- 3:51because they're ruining what Hasid looks like.
- 3:55You know, a guy who is supposed to be a good Jew.
- 3:56It turns out not to be a good Jew.
- 3:57OK, fine. He messed up.
- 3:59We have fakes out there. A guy who's trying to be a Hasid
- 4:03and his studies are phony. He's ruining the whole concept
- 4:06because other Jews say, Oh my gosh, if you go extremely what
- 4:10you look like, hey, if you're overly dedicated, look at the
- 4:12outcome, you got to be normal. And then they say you got to be
- 4:15balanced, which is both true. And then they say you have to
- 4:18tame it down, which is also true.
- 4:20But there is such a thing as being dedicated.
- 4:22There is a world out there of being very in.
- 4:26But when the faker does it and he's externally showing this
- 4:28very in and in reality, he's not a good guy because he didn't
- 4:31really work it through. And by the way, not only is this
- 4:34guy not really a chassis, A phony ends up becoming worse
- 4:40than just not a casit. He's not a regular Jew with
- 4:43phony externals. We all know if the guys are fake
- 4:46externally and it's overdoing, it's not it's fake.
- 4:49The reality is he's putting a lot of time and effort into fake
- 4:53stuff and he ends up becoming more external and actually less
- 4:58internal. He's not the same internal as
- 5:00everybody else plus fake externals.
- 5:03He's heavily focused on the fake without any knowledge of what
- 5:07he's doing. We got any depth, we got any
- 5:10build and he ends up becoming not focused on the real.
- 5:15So he's, you know, you have an average Jew and you have this
- 5:18guy. This guy is not average plus or
- 5:21with different coats. He is not even average.
- 5:25He's 0. Because you end up becoming more
- 5:28heavily focused on the externals.
- 5:30And if it's fake, it's coming from the wrong place as we know,
- 5:33and it's coming from the wrong place.
- 5:34It's coming from the copycat mentality or the lack of
- 5:36knowledge mentality. He's hollow.
- 5:38And so that's the concept. Omenama Scalim, Imam, he's going
- 5:43to ruin it for everybody else, right?
- 5:47Omenama Scalim, even intelligent people are going to be bothered
- 5:52by this guy, by Shaykh, because intelligent people are going to
- 5:59think means certain nonsense items, certain silly practices,
- 6:07things that don't make sense. That's what people are going to
- 6:12think. They're going to believe.
- 6:15Again, his time. This is the this is the issue.
- 6:18People are going to believe. What does it mean to be a
- 6:27Hassid? They say a lot about and a lot
- 6:33of and crying a lot a lot of heavy bowels with a lot obese
- 6:39Eupheme. How's that mean?
- 6:40And again his time the problem was bizarre acts of self
- 6:45affliction. Shia meet by him and pretty much
- 6:48almost kill himself. How dumb it that's more crazy
- 6:51things that people do to themselves.
- 6:53They tip into freezing cold and all these different things
- 6:57emergence in ice water right? A polar bear Jew by the Shelly
- 7:01and all those guys that go in the middle of winter.
- 7:04They jump into the corner island over there.
- 7:06So this is the mindset. Sounds crazy with the guy that
- 7:08says I'm doing it in the name of Hashem because Hashem wants me
- 7:10to dip. Hashem wants to be painful.
- 7:13Has to be painful. But he's no, but he thinks that
- 7:17he's showing mystery and nefesh and he's doing that.
- 7:20Good night's hot man, huh? By the way, if he that, he's
- 7:23looking very sweet. I did it one time and I said
- 7:27I'll never again, but I'll try again.
- 7:28But yeah, it's wild, all right. It's wild things like this and
- 7:35all these things are without understanding if there's no one,
- 7:42there are certain concepts over here that are somewhat
- 7:46applicable to people who are new to the fold.
- 7:49And some of them also apply to people who are paroush, you
- 7:55know, the people who we call the pre regime who do carry
- 7:58themselves in a different light and they do pray all day and
- 8:02they do T limo there or they do something.
- 8:05Wherever you come, go to the McVey all the time.
- 8:08He's in Laura, IL at the Hazard Club.
- 8:10This is not the foundation of Hazidut.
- 8:14Foundation of Hazidut is not the extremes.
- 8:18Kim Hatov Shamer Nagim Haila Rather the best of these
- 8:25practice is worthy of being a completion, complimenting a
- 8:29guy's regular hassir. A hassir is great, plus some of
- 8:34these externals who works for him.
- 8:37Ahmedsur Hazdu That's more the misuse of being a hassir.
- 8:41Who devout Amouk. No, it's not shallow, it's
- 8:44extremely deep. La vino on a horn to those who
- 8:47understand finding the exact concept of Hazdut Naomi usad
- 8:52ayusoto trauma ABBA that based on great foundations of wisdom
- 8:58with tikkuna Mara say and perfecting your actions.
- 9:06You could not have a nasty guy that's a Hasid out to lunch.
- 9:09You can't have a guy who's tough and angry in a Hasid.
- 9:12He's a zero. You can't have a person who
- 9:15doesn't really pray properly, but he's a Hasid also gone.
- 9:18You can't. A person doesn't care about
- 9:19learning in a Hasid. It's not there.
- 9:21You can't have a person that eats anywhere he claims to be a
- 9:24Hasid. Also nothing.
- 9:26He can't have a guy who's mean to his wife and he's a Hasid at
- 9:30lunch. In all honesty, you can't have a
- 9:33guy who's dishonest in business and he's a Hasid.
- 9:35Goodbye. All these things are a 0 because
- 9:38the person has to climb the ladder of the basics, then get
- 9:41to a stronger dedication to Hashem, and then he comes in for
- 9:45Hasid. That includes going to make it
- 9:47every day for him. Great on top of everything else,
- 9:51and that includes praying with extreme Kavanaugh and doing what
- 9:55they do Perfect. That's after the 1000 steps,
- 9:59right? You can't be born on the
- 10:01mountain. Doesn't work that way.
- 10:02We constitute. If you do, you become very
- 10:06hollow inside. That's the issue we're going to
- 10:08tell us. That tells us we're not really
- 10:10reciting and it tells us that we are striving for a world where
- 10:16we're very dedicated thinking everything through based on his
- 10:19book over over again and our dedication in connection to our
- 10:23shine become stronger and better.
- 10:26And then we want to do certain things that we would basically
- 10:31not eat in a restaurant, which we know is perfectly kosher, but
- 10:36it's not really up to our standard or we won't go to a
- 10:39certain place which we're allowed to go to.
- 10:42We know it's not going to lead to good things fast things that
- 10:44are, you know, this is an extra thought.
- 10:46These are areas that require it's not even a constant of the
- 10:52Khattarilah. It's not even a constant of
- 10:54being Zahid. It's above that.
- 10:56That's a Hassid. If that includes eventually
- 10:59being extra pure when it comes to purity, great.
- 11:03If that includes praying extra, call a Kavuin.
- 11:06But it doesn't start there. It definitely does not start
- 11:09from extremes. So he's telling you, Kirak
- 11:13Hamim, that's you go in it. Only the wise can really
- 11:17understand. You have to be wise to be a
- 11:19Hassid. Lo Ahmad, Hassid open basuk
- 11:24actually. And Ahmad cannot be hassid.
- 11:28The guy cannot be have no knowledge if he has no knowledge
- 11:31of connection to Hashem. He didn't build, develop and
- 11:34expand. And how in the world can it be
- 11:37overly dedicated that she doesn't know what it means?
- 11:39He hasn't thought about it once in his life.
- 11:41His brain is not there, but he's doing the axe.
- 11:43It's literally by rote at best and reality way worse than that
- 11:48because he's not really carrying and building himself.
- 11:52Instead he's just copycat and doing those acts at best or
- 11:56maybe worse, maybe just trying to fake it right now.
- 12:00Let me explain to you the order. The build of this concept is.
- 12:12Praiseworthy is the one who studies sudah and makes Hashem
- 12:17proud. In other words, we're trying to
- 12:19tell you this, the goal is the goal of Hasidut is do above and
- 12:29beyond, as we'll see as such concept.
- 12:31But the point of above and beyond, because you're getting
- 12:34close and close to Hashem, where Hashem is getting basically more
- 12:37than he asked out of you in a sense more than expected from
- 12:41you, more than the Torah itself requires all that.
- 12:46It's coming out of you more and making God a Shahab to think
- 12:53about this all the time. What are the things that God
- 12:56would say? I don't have to do this.
- 12:58I'm not really required to, to be so generous.
- 13:01Where is it going to aid into the Torah about wasif?
- 13:04I have to know what you're doing.
- 13:05I'll give you an example. You give actions to that car
- 13:08that's not about wasif to get around to doing.
- 13:10It's clearly what's about so safe.
- 13:11How many parents to feel in or extra person.
- 13:13I showed them to feel in there's certain areas about the safe,
- 13:17but doing them it's far with more fervor and more excitement
- 13:21and more love. There's more more.
- 13:23I said I you know, doing things that are more exciting.
- 13:26You can't imagine that Sean loves him.
- 13:28I'll give you. I don't know why this image made
- 13:31me again. It's maybe because I went
- 13:33through it myself, but I'm in like went out for this week to
- 13:36to go out to Brooklyn. And so was he yesterday,
- 13:41yesterday or was yeshiva day, which means the the beginning of
- 13:46this month beginning of boys go back to learn they were going
- 13:50yesterday. So now in a town like that where
- 13:51there's a lot of yeshiva, it's like people to the whole town.
- 13:55You have the following scene all over the place.
- 13:58Some boys are in the streets waiting on the side of the road
- 14:02with their suitcases and their duffel bags ready to go to go.
- 14:05Some boys are already, you know, getting leaving their parents
- 14:09house because they're going to fly to Israel in that scene.
- 14:13And then I saw the following scene.
- 14:15I was in a Judaica store. My wife wanted to go to a
- 14:19closing store. So I went to Judaica store to
- 14:21his that's how he is. And I went in and I'm watching.
- 14:26The line is humongous. Why is the line so long, 'cause
- 14:31our boys getting ready to each Shiva and they're buying their
- 14:33first Gemara for this news Mon. They're buying their first books
- 14:36on the Gemara and they're buying their things.
- 14:38And I'm telling you, and I don't get like this ever, this sight
- 14:42of kids who are 14 years old being super excited.
- 14:47They're like, you know, bubbling over with excitement.
- 14:50Or they're buying their first Gemara to go to each Shiva and
- 14:52thinking about what it's going to look like and thinking about
- 14:55the plan and then they're with their fathers.
- 14:57I think it was one of the most beautiful sights and this is
- 15:00true for Lakewood and we have our community in its own way,
- 15:03but the mindset is and I saw as across I was across the whole
- 15:06town. So I see the boys walking in the
- 15:07street. I see the boys buying the books.
- 15:10Now I'm in learning in a place and I had one kid talking about
- 15:13his schedule and he's so excited about his schedule.
- 15:14I'm like, wow, we leave in 2025. There's chaos all over the
- 15:18world, right, and all measurable things.
- 15:22And you think about the fact that there's excitement for
- 15:25tsunami. It's what, and I don't get
- 15:26emotional pretty much ever. It's not my way.
- 15:29I thought I'd never got emotional.
- 15:31I don't get emotional. It's not nothing that I do.
- 15:33I literally was brought back to to remember in 9th grade when I
- 15:37first went to yeshiva and, and the excitement that was there.
- 15:40I don't know if it was the combination of excitement
- 15:42leaving home or excitement what it's going to be like in a dorm
- 15:45or it's going to be like to having new friends to go to a
- 15:48new town, Madison, NJ, part of a whole new world.
- 15:51My brother was there, whatever it was, but this certain feeling
- 15:54of like, wow, we're doing something more.
- 15:56And that is, I think Hossein Nahad Bakli Hotel.
- 16:00But Hashem loves the idea. People are into something.
- 16:04People are excited about something.
- 16:06And I was just thinking myself, I brought myself back to that
- 16:08time and that's really the me doubt.
- 16:10They're trying to have in every area something that's extra
- 16:13beautiful, something that's extra into it, extra generous
- 16:16inside. I should be excited.
- 16:18And this comes from development. Now these children have a
- 16:21combination of they want to be like their fathers, probably us
- 16:25to the ad that they're trying to do what everyone else does for
- 16:27sure, but it's still excitement. The excitement part is an
- 16:30indication that it's borderline excited or excited to see this.
- 16:36I think it's an unbelievable thing that when we have things
- 16:39that the kids are excited about or when a guy's extra generous,
- 16:43he doesn't have to be all that is A10 or partial has to do as
- 16:48soon as this right not bowing down 1000 times.
- 16:52It's adapting to making God proud.
- 16:55That's not a tale. Well, still peace.
