- 0:24And here's your host, Wallace Garno.
- 0:28Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Cutting Through the Chaos on the America Out Loud Network, where we cut through the lies and the propaganda to bring you the out loud truth.
- 0:38I'm your host Wallace Garno, and I want to talk about finance today in terms of the war on Iran.
- 0:46And I want to talk about the financial picture for Iran.
- 0:50I want to talk about the financial picture for the rest of the world.
- 0:53I want to talk about what that looks like.
- 0:55And I also want to talk about the financing of propaganda, not just in the United States, but including in the United States, and uh and how that is it's it's it's a major problem that we really need to do something about.
- 1:08I'm not sure exactly how to solve it, but we'll get into that and uh and talk about why that is a problem that we need to be very, very concerned with.
- 1:16Let's start with uh the war in Iran.
- 1:19I want to talk about obviously the war is continuing.
- 1:22We have now closed the Strait of Hormuz ourselves.
- 1:24Iran was controlling the Straits of Hormuz, letting the ships they wanted through through, blocking ships they didn't want through.
- 1:31What we have done is is we have said if you're gonna blockade the Strait of Hormuz, we're not going to allow you to use it either.
- 1:36So now it is shut for everybody.
- 1:39And uh the army there is a lot of the ships that would normally go through the Strait of Hormues to get oil.
- 1:45Now they're coming to the United States to get oil.
- 1:48You know, we got plenty of oil.
- 1:49The United States, Argentina, all of these tankers now are going all the way around the Horn of Africa and going all the way to Venezuela and the United States to get to get oil.
- 1:58So that's a major change.
- 2:00Probably explains why we did what we did with Venezuela before we did what we did with Iran.
- 2:06So there's a definite progress of things there.
- 2:09But one thing that's doing is uh the the cost of getting oil, it takes longer to get to the United States than it does to get to you know Europe or whatever from the top it's it's a longer route.
- 2:20You have to all the way around Africa.
- 2:21So it's a long route, and uh it's gonna take time for the oil to really get on the market.
- 2:25And it's probably there are that the tankers, if they're at sea longer, you're it's it makes it so oil's gonna be a little more expensive than it was before the war.
- 2:33That's going to continue until the war is over.
- 2:35I guess that's what I'm saying, but not as high as people expected.
- 2:39Because the oil's still coming, it's just coming from different places, and it may take longer to transit in the sea, which means that the same tanker can't refill as often.
- 2:49So the net will be a reduction in oil when a higher cost, uh, but it's not going to be anywhere near as bad as people thought, because we don't really need the Strait of Hormuz.
- 3:02Matter of fact, most of the countries that need the Strait of Hormues to trade oil uh to sell oil, they don't.
- 3:08They can they can get their oil to see other ways.
- 3:11So this is really at this point, it's gonna hurt Iran a great deal, and it's gonna hurt those countries that are the most reliant on Iranian oil, such as such as China, for example.
- 3:23Uh, Europe right now is seeing oil prices about 150 bucks a barrel.
- 3:27We're seeing about a hundred bucks a barrel, a little high, but we've seen it high that high before.
- 3:31So we can survive this, we can we can we can handle this.
- 3:34It's not going to destroy the American economy.
- 3:37Uh it's gonna be difficult for other countries.
- 3:40Europe is gonna struggle.
- 3:41There's 150 bucks is pretty high, and they don't have the expendable income that we have to suck it up with.
- 3:46It's gonna be very hard on China.
- 3:48It's gonna be hard to number countries, but with the United States, it's it's really not going to be that big of a deal for us to see a little bit higher of oil prices.
- 3:55Certainly we're better off seeing slightly higher oil prices for a period of time than we are letting Iran build nuclear weapons that Iran would like to be able to use against Israel, Europe, and the United States, and then finding out how accurate a jihadist with a minivan is of a delivery system.
- 4:12So it's a necessary war, in my opinion.
- 4:15I think anybody who does not think it's necessary is absolutely crazy.
- 4:19Um, but uh yeah, that's it is what it is.
- 4:22Uh getting into the economics in Iran.
- 4:25I haven't heard a lot of talk about this, but people need to remember Iran's economy was in the gutter before the war even started.
- 4:34And what I mean by in the gutter is I mean that uh their foreign currency reserves were very, very low.
- 4:41They were about maybe a tenth what they usually are.
- 4:43So they'd spent almost all of their foreign reserves.
- 4:46This makes it difficult for them to hold their currency's value up, and that they began having to print more of their currency to buy things, which only makes the value of their currency less.
- 4:55So they've had rampant inflation now for a number of years.
- 4:58You don't have any currency for any foreign currency, or their currency isn't worth a lot.
- 5:03That obviously is having a tremendous strain on the pocketbooks of the Iranian people.
- 5:08But it's not just that.
- 5:10It's not just that.
- 5:11If you are one of the mulas, or if you are one of the top people in the IRGC or the Ayatollah, you're part of that ruling body.
- 5:19How do you maintain the support of all of the people whose job it is to keep you in power?
- 5:25This is a country where 85% of the public wants nothing to do with that government.
- 5:29They want a regime change.
- 5:3185% of the Iranian people are cheering on the bombing.
- 5:35They want us to force that regime to fall.
- 5:37Well, the other 15%, they have to then force down the 85% that don't want the regime.
- 5:45And what you end up doing is groups like the IRGC.
- 5:48Are they really that ideologically supportive, or are they being paid to keep the regime in power?
- 5:55Well, it turns out there's a tremendous amount of graft and corruption in Iran, where a lot of the Mulas and their families have houses in London and they have houses in Dubai, and you know, they're all billionaires.
- 6:05Whereas their people are starving.
- 6:06And uh what they do is they bribe IRGC members and and other people to they bribe people to keep them in power.
- 6:14They it's it's a it's a protection racket.
- 6:17We we want to stay in power.
- 6:18We don't have the support of the people, and so we will pay people to keep us in power.
- 6:24And what do you bribe people with when you don't have any money?
- 6:28That's something nobody is looking at.
- 6:30The ability for the Mulahs and the IRGC leadership, and all of the people that 85% of the public would love to overthrow, their ability to rule is predicated on their ability to bribe.
- 6:43This is an incredibly corrupt uh regime, and uh that money is gone.
- 6:47So, no bribe, no protection, no protection.
- 6:50How do you stay in power?
- 6:51And that was before the war, by the way.
- 6:53That was before the war.
- 6:55Now, all of a sudden you've done, according to Iran, about 28300 billion dollars maybe worth of damage.
- 7:00Maybe worth of damage.
- 7:01They're saying they want reparations.
- 7:01They're saying they want reparations.
- 7:02Well, you can want it, you're not gonna get it.
- 7:02Well, you can want it, you're not going to get it.
- 7:05Nor do you have the ability to rebuild without them.
- 7:05Nor do we have the ability to rebuild without them.
- 7:07So Iran now is is all their their infrastructure, their infrastructure is mostly intact.
- 7:07So Iran now is their infrastructure, their infrastructure is mostly intact.
- 7:12We haven't started hitting that yet.
- 7:12We haven't started hitting that yet.
- 7:13But they don't have any a lot of their manufacturing, if it's military uh stuff, you know, drones, missiles, or whatever, that's all gone.
- 7:13But they don't have any a lot of their manufacturing, if it's military uh stuff, you know, drones, missiles, or whatever, that's all gone.
- 7:21And uh we've we've we've bombed lots of other anything military related.
- 7:21And uh we've we've we've bombed lots of other anything military-related.
- 7:26It's all gone.
- 7:26It's all gone.
- 7:27So what they have now is a country that's been.
- 7:27So what they have now is a country that's been incredibly damaged, and they need to rebuild, and they don't have the money to rebuild, and uh in addition to that, they don't have the money to bribe the people that keep them in power in order to keep them loyal, and uh, you know, it's a bad situation for the leadership of Iran, which is of course a good thing for the people of Iran, and it's a good thing for everyone else.
- 7:52This is a regime that I just when the war's over, I think it gets worse for them instead of better.
- 7:58We start stop bombing them, and people are gonna say, okay, cool, now we're gonna see some kind of they're not gonna say cool because they want them overthrown, but at least they'd see some kind of return to normalcy where they can work and make money and and have food, but they don't have money that has value, and it's gonna be very, very difficult for them to where are they gonna get the food from?
- 8:22They are that regime is is in real, real, real trouble.
- 8:26Without the foreign currency, they need to buy stuff.
- 8:28They can't sell oil right now because the Strait of Hormuz is closed, so they have no means of getting more money.
- 8:34Uh, they can't they can't have ships paying two million dollar bounties to go through because we won't let them.
- 8:40And uh, you know, this is a regime that has no money, it has no means of getting money, and it needs money to bribe people to stay.
- 8:48So, you know, if you do the math on that, the uh Iranian regime is not just in trouble.
- 8:55Uh financially, they're over.
- 8:57Financially, they have no means to recover.
- 9:00They're probably better off at the moment if we continue bombing them, because at least then they have an excuse to pretend they're still that they're still relevant.
- 9:07They're not.
- 9:08They don't have the means to maintain their power base, and you know, when you get to that point, I don't know how you stay in power.
- 9:17So my guess is that even if we don't force the regime to change by bombing it into submission at some point shortly thereafter, as long as we don't allow them to get a huge, you know, a bunch of cash, as long as we don't allow them to to acquire a bunch of cash, uh, that regime is done.
- 9:37It's it's it's it's going to implode.
- 9:38There's there's really nothing to to prop it up unless they have the money to buy the things that they need to prop it up and to rebuild a nation that has been you know bombed pretty badly.
- 9:52So that's that that's the status of Iran.
- 9:55That's that's where that is.
- 9:56But let's talk now about the propaganda war that is being waged against the United States.
- 10:03Iran is of course a part of that, and it turns out they're pretty good at making AI videos and things like that that fool people into thinking things that are not true are.
- 10:14The USS Abraham Lincoln, for example, Iran claims they've hit it with several missiles.
- 10:18Well, it has not been hit by anything, but they have videos that show it getting hit.
- 10:23They have videos of other ships getting hit, and they have videos of damage occurring to, in some cases, damage occurring to things they really did hit with a missile or a drone.
- 10:32But of course, in the AI video, the level of damage is much higher than it is in reality.
- 10:37So what Iran is doing is they are downplaying the effect of the war on them, and then they are increasing the effect of the war on other countries above what it actually is.
- 10:52And then they're trying to say uh that Israel is the true enemy of the United States, not Iran, Iran could be friends with us, we've never been at war, and all this crazy stuff that just it's that's it's completely not true.
- 11:06And one could wonder what's running this Iranian propaganda machine.
- 11:10Well, the truth is it's not all Iran.
- 11:13It is not all Iran what so ever.
- 11:17There are actually a number of countries that are fighting asymmetrical warfare against the United States today.
- 11:23Right now, Iran gets the most attention because of the war, but before the war, China got the most attention because senior PLA officers and military theorists whose work is taught in China's war colleges, were very explicit about engaging in unrestricted asymmetrical warfare with the United States.
- 11:41And because China includes unrest unrestrained biological warfare in that mix.
- 11:47You could look up unrestricted warfare, China's Master Plan to destroy America in 1999 by Q Lang and Wang Zheng's Zhu, I think is how you pronounce that.
- 11:57Um, because they're open about this.
- 11:59This is stuff you know, they actually have this in English.
- 12:01You can buy you can you can get this book in English, it's from their war college, and and they say straight up this is unrestricted asymmetrical warfare with the United States that includes unrestrained biological warfare.
- 12:15Uh and you know, you look at COVID-19 after hearing that, you start thinking, you know, was that just a leak or or could that have been more nefarious?
- 12:24We don't know.
- 12:25I don't know how you would find out whether it was intentional.
- 12:28Uh the timing of it made it look like maybe it was designed to prevent Trump from winning a second term.
- 12:33Don't know, but it looks like could have been certainly it's certainly it's something they have said they would do, even if they have not actually done it.
- 12:40And you know, that's China.
- 12:43What we don't pay enough attention to is Qatar.
- 12:47We actually have military bases on Qatar, and uh we treat them like an ally.
- 12:52They're not a very good friend.
- 12:53I want to look at Guitar's propaganda campaign.
- 12:56Uh we're I'm gonna call it information jihad, and that information jihad is being it's taking place against the Western world in general, but it's particularly taking place against the United States.
- 13:08Columbia University, in fact, blew up with anti-Semitic behavior when Hamas attacked Israel on October 7th, 2023.
- 13:17That happened, in fact, before the attack on Israel was even over.
- 13:22On the day of the attack, and then for about two years afterwards, protesters absolutely hurled insults at Jewish people.
- 13:30They call them Zionist pigs, they call them colonizers, they call them genocide supporters, they said that Jewish students, in some cases, they even forced Jewish students and Jewish uh professors, Jewish staff uh from entering campus buildings.
- 13:44They would not let them in.
- 13:46Absolutely insane.
- 13:47And a little bit of tangent here, but let's talk about anti-Zionism because people want to pretend that anti-Zionism is not anti-Semitism.
- 13:55Well, the way I see it, every country on earth, every sovereign nation on earth has the right to define its own uh immigration policies and laws.
- 14:00Earth has the right to define its own immigration policies and laws.
- 14:05Well, Israel is a sovereign nation.
- 14:05Well, Israel is a sovereign nation, so Israel, as does every sovereign nation on earth, has the right to set its own immigration laws and immigration policies.
- 14:07So Israel, as does every sovereign nation on earth, has the right to set its own immigration laws and immigration policies.
- 14:14Now, what Zionism is the belief that Jewish people should move to Israel, that it's okay for Jewish people to enlarge numbers move to Israel.
- 14:14Now, what Zionism is the belief that Jewish people should move to Israel, that it's okay for Jewish people to enlarge numbers move to Israel.
- 14:23Well, the thing is that Israel is a sovereign nation, and as a sovereign nation, if Israel wants to encourage the immigration, if it wants to encourage Jewish people to immigrate to Israel, they have every right to set that as their policy, to set that as their immigration law.
- 14:23Well, the thing is that Israel is a sovereign nation, and as a sovereign nation, if Israel wants to encourage the
- 14:38That they have every right to do that.
- 14:40They're the only nation, those who are saying that they're anti-Zionists, okay, fine.
- 14:44What nation other than Israel do you want to take away the right to set their own immigration policies and immigration laws from?
- 14:51What nation other than Israel should not be able to make that decision?
- 14:54Just name one.
- 14:55What nation other than Israel do you think should should not have any immigration controls or immigration policies or immigration laws at all?
- 15:03What country should have to give up that sovereign right that every country has?
- 15:08There are only two rational ways to look at that.
- 15:11Now you could play some little poo-poo thing about the European Union, but now you have to talk about what is a nation, because in that case, the European Union is acting more and more like a nation, and the states underneath it are acting more and more like states.
- 15:24So Europe is it's a political union that has grown into what you you might say that that you know, because they don't control immigration law within the European Union, you might say that the actual countries of Europe are no longer even really countries anymore.
- 15:37Is it confederation or as it's grown into something more than that?
- 15:40That those arguments you can make.
- 15:42But what you can't say is that Europe, the European Union, the nation states within, as a group, they still collectively have the power to control immigration, whether they choose to do so or not.
- 15:52So you can't really use Europe.
- 15:54That means you really only have two choices.
- 15:56You either have to say that no nation should be able to set immigration policies or laws, and that there shouldn't be anything such as immigration policies or immigration laws, and people should just be able to go wherever they want, and nobody should be able to say anything about it.
- 16:10If you believe that about every nation on earth, well, I disagree with you, but at least they're consistent.
- 16:15The only thing you can do is you can say, yeah, really is just Israel, and if that's the case, guess what?
- 16:21Anti-Zionism is anti-Semitism, period.
- 16:24If you use the phrase anti-Zionism, you are singling out Israel as the only country that you don't believe should be able to set their immigration laws.
- 16:32And yes, that is anti-Semitism.
- 16:33That is clean, pure, that that is absolutely there's nothing else you could call that.
- 16:38That is anti-Semitism, period.
- 16:42So there's no way to say anti-Zionism is not anti-Semitism because you are invariably singling out the only Jewish state on the planet and saying that that is the only country that should not be able to set its immigration laws.
- 16:58So, you know, getting back into what I want to talk about, the protesters in uh Columbia University openly praised Hamas, chanting slogans such as by any means necessary and globalize the intifada, both of which are calls to kill Jewish people.
- 17:13By any means necessary means including killing people, including the genocide of the Jewish people, and of course, globalizing intifada.
- 17:20That's direct.
- 17:21That's that's saying what we've done against the Jews in Israel, we're going to do against the Jews everywhere.
- 17:25We're going to globalize the killing of Jewish people, is what they mean by that.
- 17:29In a fada actually doesn't just mean Jewish people, it's a struggle against anybody that you consider oppressive.
- 17:35And uh, and and when they say globalize the antifada, what they're actually saying is the entire world is oppressing Islam by not becoming a part of it, and therefore we are going to globalize the movement of the entire world into Islam.
- 17:49That's not what the kids at Columbia University are mean.
- 17:52They're just saying it because somebody told them it's cool or something.
- 17:55But the propaganda, that is what they're chanting, and that is what that actually means.
- 17:59And uh, you know, that went all the way to June of 2024.
- 18:03Pro Amadis anti-Semitic encampments were still on campus, harassing and intimidating Jewish students.
- 18:10Occasionally the police come and break it up, but then they would reform almost immediately.
- 18:14And even after June of 2024, there were smaller anti-Semitic protests on Columbia University's campus.
- 18:21It's it still happens.
- 18:22We've had similar protests at UCLA, UC Irvine, UC Davis, the University of Southern California, the University of Texas, the University of Oregon, the University of Virginia, and at least 11 other campuses across the United States where Jewish students have been bullied, harassed, and at times subjected to violence.
- 18:45I'm embarrassed to say that the University of Michigan, where I earned my MBA, had major protests too, and it later appeared on a federal list of 60 universities that are now under investigation for anti-Semitic discrimination and harassment.
- 19:01You heard that correct.
- 19:03There are 60 universities that are under federal investigation for anti-Semitic discrimination and harassment.
- 19:11That's not happening just in Nazi Germany.
- 19:14That's happening here today.
- 19:17Columbia University does stand out, but it stands out only because it had the largest anti-Semitic encampment, and because it had the tacit support of the university leadership, which initially praised it as free speech, and then downplayed the anti-Semitic nature of that speech until it gained national attention.
- 19:37Multiple students, Columbia, you said Columbia University was hostile, toward and unsafe for Jewish students.
- 19:44That again is not Nazi Germany.
- 19:46That's New York City.
- 19:47That's Columbia University today.
- 19:50What made these protests so disturbing, by the way, wasn't just their content.
- 19:54It was the uniformity and the persistence.
- 19:57These were not spontaneous student uprising.
- 20:01That's a lie.
- 20:02They were not spontaneous at all, and they weren't even really student uprisings, although, although most of the people there were students.
- 20:09They were the activation of ideas and narratives that have been embedded in the academic ecosystem long before the October 7th attack, which raises the unavoidable question about who is fronting the costs.
- 20:23Well, the answer is not Iran, it's not China, it's not Russia, it's certainly not Americans.
- 20:30Now the answer is Qatar.
- 20:31According to federal data disclosures, Qatar is given at least $6.6 billion to American universities since 2001.
- 20:41Foreign donations to American universities are not always disclosed.
- 20:45So the actual amount Guitar is donated is higher than that.
- 20:48Nobody knows exactly how high it is.
- 20:51But the Institute for the Study of Global Anti-Semitism and Policy claims the total is at least 20 billion dollars since 2001.
- 21:00Since 2001.
- 21:01According to that group, Qatar linked funding connected to Cornell University may total in the billions of dollars.
- 21:01According to that group, Qatar linked funding connected to Cornell University may total in the billions of dollars, once contracts, partnerships, and affiliated entities are included.
- 21:08What's contracts, partnerships, and affiliated entities are included?
- 21:13And of course, all of that money comes with strings attached.
- 21:13And of course, all of that money comes with strings attached.
- 21:17Qatar expects the universities that accept their money to spread Guitary propaganda, which is anti Semitic, anti Israel, anti West, anti America, and pro Islam.
- 21:17Qatar expects the universities that accept their money to spread Qatari propaganda, which is anti-Semitic, anti-Israel, anti-West, anti-America, and pro-Islam.
- 21:30Now, Qatar is a nation with a population of about 3.1 million people.
- 21:37But the interesting thing is that only 360,000 of them roughly are Qatari citizens.
- 21:42And the Qatari royal family, by the way, is one of the richest in the world.
- 21:46They got a net worth that is believed to be over 400 billion dollars.
- 21:50And there's no separation between the royal family and the state.
- 21:54So in addition to having over 400 billion dollars, they also have access to Qatar's sovereign wealth fund, which is about 450 billion dollars.
- 22:03So this is a family with close to a trillion dollars at its disposal.
- 22:08Oh, what have they done with that money?
- 22:10For the past 30 to 40 years, they've used its wealth to wage a campaign of financial and informational jihad against the West on behalf of the Muslim Brotherhood.
- 22:20The Qatari regime is fiercely anti-Semitic, recently funding what it called an international union of Islamic scholars that called for the extermination of the world's Jewish population by the year 2033.
- 22:32You heard that right.
- 22:33They want the complete extermination of the world's Jewish population by the year 2033.
- 22:40Here's a direct quote from the International Union of Islamic Scholars funded by the Qatari regime.
- 22:46Today humanity has realized that you are a threat to the world's peace and security, and the countdown to your end, which will be eminent, Allah willing, has already begun.
- 22:56Note in your diaries today, not tomorrow, that by the end of the first third of the century, between 2025 and 2033, you will be nothing but history, future generations will talk about.
- 23:07Take into consideration that this time the world will not take pity upon you, and that when its anger boils over, not one of you will be left upon the earth.
- 23:16Trump's veto power or that of whoever succeeds him will not avail you.
- 23:22That's what Qatari says about the world's Jewish population in the international union of Islamic scholars, that the entire population of Jewish people on the face of the earth will not exist by 2033.
- 23:35That's what Qatar is spending their money toward.
- 23:38Nor is Qatar's hatred only for Jewish people.
- 23:41There is, in fact, a popular saying Qatar and within Muslim Brotherhood circles, first the Saturday people, then the Sunday people.
- 23:49Well, we know who the Sunday people are.
- 23:51This means that if the Brotherhood gets what it wants and exterminates the world's Jewish population, well, the world's Christian population will be next.
- 23:59People think Qatar is aligned with Iran.
- 24:01We kind of found out that's not true in the war.
- 24:03Qatar, uh Qatar is actually blows my mind, but they're they're their big mouthpiece.
- 24:09Uh Al Jazeera is actually had articles that have been supportive of the war and saying that the people that don't want the Iranian regime to fall are stupid.
- 24:18So Qatar is funding things that Iran then can leapfrog on in terms of anti-Semitism, anti-Americanism, and things of the nature.
- 24:26Uh, but Qatar is not really aligned with Iran.
- 24:30Iran is Shiite, Qatar is Sunni, so the two separate sects of Islam that you know hate each other.
- 24:36Iran is useful to Qatar, though.
- 24:37They're not only in terms of its enmity to Israel, which Qatar also hates, but also as a visible foil for Qatar to hide behind when it pretends to be a rational intermediary.
- 24:48They can always say, Oh, that wasn't us, that was that was Iran.
- 24:51Iranians, they're the bad guys.
- 24:53Oh, it's not us, we're not doing bad stuff.
- 24:54It's Iran.
- 24:55Well, yeah, that's that's a nice foil to have when you're the one who's funding everything.
- 25:00Uh all this anti-Semitism all over the West and all over the United States.
- 25:04Now, President Trump seems to think that he can separate Qatar from the Muslim Brotherhood, but I think that that's a mistake.
- 25:12I think Trump's approach assumes the Qatar's relationship with the Muslim Brotherhood is more transactional and negotiable.
- 25:18But the evidence doesn't show that.
- 25:20The evidence says otherwise.
- 25:22In fact, the Muslim Brotherhood is the ideological infrastructure through which Qatar exercises influence.
- 25:31Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Behran, Syria, and Russia, they all list the Muslim Brotherhood as a terrorist organization.
- 25:40Saudi Arabia also considers the Qatari regime to be a terrorist sponsored state.
- 25:45That judgment was made explicit during the 2017 and 2021 rupture.
- 25:50Saudi Arabia alongside the UAE, Egypt and Iran, they cut diplomatic ties with Qatar and imposed a regional blockade.
- 25:58The demands issued to Doha, the capital of Qatar, were to shut down Al Jazeera, sever ties with the Muslim Brotherhood, expel jihadist figures, and end support for Hamas-linked entities.
- 26:11Well, Qatar did not renounce the Muslim Brotherhood.
- 26:14It did not dismantle its media apparatus, and it did not abandon its role as a jihadist patron.
- 26:20Even though the blockade ended in 2021, Saudi Arabia did not reverse its assessment of Qatar's behavior.
- 26:26From Saudi Arabia's perspective, Qatar remains a destabilizing force that uses wealth, media, and ideology to undermine state authority around the world.
- 26:38Now Qatar is not as explicit as the Chinese war college in being at a state of war with the United States, but understand Qatar is not our friend.
- 26:47Qatar is working to create a global Islamic caliphate with the Muslim Brotherhood at the head.
- 26:55The Muslims' Brotherhood's internal documents, incidentally, including a moratorium or a memorandum authenticated U.S.
- 27:02federal court, describe a long-term generational project aimed at transforming Western societies from within through institutional cultural and ideological influence.
- 27:14The Muslim Brotherhood also has pledged to use violent jihad when necessary to take over Western societies after weakening them as much as possible from within.
- 27:23So they're going to weaken us, and then they're going to destroy us using violent jihad.
- 27:28That is what the Muslim Brotherhood says it is going to do.
- 27:33In internal documents that have been authenticated in U.S.
- 27:37Federal Court.
- 27:38That is what the Muslim Brotherhood is, that is what their aims are.
- 27:42Al Jazeera then functions as Qatar's global narrative engine, framing stories from Islamic anti-Israel and anti-Western lens.
- 27:50And though they would like the regime in Iran to flip, once it does, they're just going to go right back to what Qatar does.
- 27:59Qatari money also circulates through a broad ecosystem of non-government organizations, think tanks, and policy institutions, where comparatively modest sums can buy extraordinary reputational leverage.
- 28:00Money also circulates through a broad ecosystem of non-government organizations, think tanks, and policy institutions, where comparatively modest sums can buy extraordinary reputational leverage.
- 28:11Tracking of disclosed funding shows millions of dollars flowing from Qatari-linked sources into prominent policy institutions, including multi-million dollar arrangements connected to think take operations in or in partnership with Qatar.
- 28:11Tracking of disclosed funding shows millions of dollars flowing from Qatari linked sources into prominent policy institutions, including multi-million dollar arrangements connected to think take operations in or in partnership with Qatar.
- 28:28These institutions help.
- 28:28These institutions help frame global debates on human rights, foreign policy, and international law, and Israel is always treated as a uniquely illegitimate actor, while far more severe abuses by Islamic regimes are, of course, flat out ignored.
- 28:46You kill 40,000 of your own protesters, nobody blinks an eye.
- 28:50Even humanitarian funding plays a role.
- 28:53Qatar has committed tens of millions of dollars to international agencies such as the UNRWA, including multi-year agreements and the tens of millions of dollars.
- 29:02These contributions are presented as charity, but they don't just buy it's not just charity.
- 29:06They're buying access, they're gaining legitimacy, and they're gaining narrative insulation in all of the institutions that help to shape global opinion.
- 29:15That's what they're working on.
- 29:18They even invested extraordinary sums in sports and cultural prestige as some form of reputation laundry.
- 29:24The most obvious example, of course, is the 2022 FIFA World Cup, a project whose total cost has been estimated at being up to 220 billion dollars.

- 34:42I'm your host Wallace Garneau, and uh we're talking about Iran.
- 34:46We're talking about Qatar.
- 34:47And on the last half of the show, as I mentioned, uh Qatar paid 220 billion dollars to run the 2022 FIFA World Cup is a part of a very large reputation laundering scheme.
- 35:01Within the United States, Qatar funds the Muslim Student Association, the Islamic Society of North America, the Council on Islamic American Relations, the North American Islamic Trust, and the Islamic Association for Palestine.
- 35:01Within the United States, Qatar funds the Muslim Student Association, the Islamic Society of North America, the Council on Islamic American Relations, the North American Islamic Trust, and the Islamic Association for Palestine.
- 35:16The Muslim Brotherhood is the parent organization of every single one of those groups.
- 35:16The Muslim Brotherhood is the parent organization of every single one of those groups.
- 35:22So all of the things that the Muslim Brotherhood said that they want to do to the United States, all of those groups, all
- 35:22So all of the things that the Muslim Brotherhood said that they want to do to the United States, all of those groups also want to do to the United States.
- 35:32Let's talk about what that is again.
- 35:34Because as I mentioned before, the Muslim Brotherhood's internal documents, including a memorandum authenticated in the U.S.
- 35:41Federal Court, describe a long-term generational project aimed at transforming Western societies from within through institutional, cultural, and ideological influence.
- 35:52The Muslim Brotherhood is also pledged to use violent jihad when necessary to take over Western societies after weakening them as much as possible from within.
- 36:03So if we go back and look at some of the organizations that want to weaken the United States as much as possible from within before erupting in violent jihad against us, I'll list them again.
- 36:15The Muslim Student Association, the Islamic Society of North America, the Council on Islamic American relations, the North American Islamic Trust, and the Islamic Association for Palestine.
- 36:27They're all parts of the Muslim Brotherhood.
- 36:29They're all parts of what the Muslim Brotherhood is trying to achieve.
- 36:34A consistent set of Qatari-aligned talking points now appears across the media, academia, and activist politics.
- 36:43It's often presented as independent critique, but repeating the same underlying claims, which shows that it is not truly independent at all.
- 36:51The first, of course, is that Israel is uniquely illegitimate and uniquely criminal among nations.
- 36:57This framing treats Israel as a singular moral offender, judged by standards that nobody ever applies to any other country.
- 37:07They call it an apartheid state, which is ridiculous.
- 37:10It is not an apartheid state.
- 37:11It is a free nation, the freest Muslim population anywhere on the face of the earth, other than America or in Europe, perhaps, is actually the Muslim population in Israel.
- 37:23There is no Muslim population anywhere in the Middle East that is more free than the Muslims living as civ as Israeli citizens in Israel.
- 37:33And they'll tell you that.
- 37:35Ilion Omar, Rashida Talib, and Cory Bush, they all repeatedly frame Israel in that light of being uniquely illegitimate and uniquely criminal among nations.
- 37:44They all do that.
- 37:45Whether or not those individuals receive Qatari money directly, well, they reliably advance a narrative that aligns precisely with Qatari state messaging and with Al Jazeera's editorial line.
- 37:58So you tell me whether you think they're taking money from Qatar, whether directly or not.
- 38:03I would assume I'm going to guess maybe they are.
- 38:06I can't prove that, but my guess is maybe they are.
- 38:09Closely related is the framing of Jewish political power as conspiratorial rather than civic.
- 38:14Instead of acknowledging Jewish political participation as normal, well, Jews are presented as exercising some kind of hidden illegitimate influence.
- 38:22They are so powerful, in fact, that they couldn't even prevent a Muslim mayor from winning the election of New York City, which is a city that has a large Jewish population.
- 38:30Jewish people in New York voted for Zaron Mamdani.
- 38:35And uh, if if your power is so small you can't even stop that, then you know the idea they have this ex hidden illegitimate influence is just absurd.
- 38:44Now we have even on the political right.
- 38:46We have figures like Candace Owens, who repeatedly pushed conspiratorial narratives that frame Jewish influence as some shadowy and malevolent thing that includes claims, by the way, that closely muritary propaganda.
- 38:58Now there's no public evidence that Owens is directly funded by Qatar, but the substance of her claims consistently advances Qatari interests, regardless of intent or compensation.
- 39:10And two other names you can now throw into that list would include uh I hate to say it, Megan Kelly is increasingly heading in that direction.
- 39:18And of course, Tucker Carlson, he might as well move to Qatar at this point.
- 39:22He he is he's all in on hating everything America and loving everything Islam.
- 39:28So great, Tucker, why don't you move over there and uh and that's where you should be now?
- 39:33You can you can you can be a talking head in the Muslim world, we don't need you here.
- 39:37Another core talking point from Qatar is the claim that Western moral authority is for us fundamentally fraudulent.
- 39:43In other words, we're not moral nations.
- 39:45The West isn't moral.
- 39:47Under this framing, concepts such as liberal democracy, human rights, and the rule of law are treated as cynical tools used by the West to disguise oppression.
- 39:57Not that there isn't oppression, but that we're disguising the oppression by using those concepts.
- 40:03This argument is all over Qatari funded media and think tank ecosystems and is echoed by figures ranging from academic activists to high-profile commentators.
- 40:14Mareh Hassan, who previously worked for El Jazeera English, advanced this narrative directly from within a Qatari state-funded media institution, giving a clear example of documented alignment between funding and messaging.
- 40:28Others repeat the same claims without direct institutional ties, effectively laundering the argument into a broader Western discourse.
- 40:36The clear moral distinction between the Allied powers and Nazi Germany is also being increasingly dismantled, replaced with claims of the Allies who are morally indistinguishable from the Nazis.
- 40:48And this telling Britain and the United States become imperial villains while the criminality of Nazism starts to get blurred.
- 40:54Winston Churchill was once treated as a symbol of noble resistance.
- 40:58Now he's recast as a racist war criminal who expanded the war by opposing Hitler's invasion of Poland.
- 41:05The argument is that had Churchill not interfered, Hitler would not have invaded France, but would have continued East against Stalin, and that Stalin rather than Hitler was the real evil.
- 41:14Well, Stalin was evil.
- 41:16So was Hitler, though, and uh Churchill had not interfered, uh, yeah, Hitler told us he was going to invade France.
- 41:26He put it in his book.
- 41:28So it was absolutely, that was one of his core, one of the core things he wanted to do is punish France for the Treaty of Versailles.
- 41:35So he was absolutely going to invade France unless somebody stopped him.
- 41:40But the line of argument, France, uh, you know, the whole thing Churchill being bad, all of that, that whole argument.
- 41:46It appears not only in academic revisionism, but no, it's uh it's a popular commentary.
- 41:51Tucker Carlson had it on.
- 41:53He has repeatedly flirted with narratives that relativize Allied moral authority and invite sympathy for Hitler.
- 41:59He's done that repeatedly.
- 42:00He's traveled the Qatar and he's praised El Jazeera, and there was absolutely no evidence, and though there is absolutely no evidence that he receives public but receives funding from Qatar.
- 42:00He's traveled to Qatar, and he's praised Al Jazeera, and there was absolutely no evidence, and though there is absolutely no evidence that he receives public but receives funding from Qatar, well, his rhetorical framing, it repeats Qatari propaganda, verbatim.
- 42:09Well, his rhetorical framing, it repeats Qatari propaganda, verbatim.
- 42:14You see, once you make Churchill the villain, Hitler could be relativized.
- 42:14You see, once you make Churchill the villain, Hitler could be relativized.
- 42:18He didn't he doesn't need to be praised outright for the narrative to function.
- 42:18He didn't he doesn't need to be praised outright for the narrative to function.
- 42:21It's enough to portray him as a flawed nationalist reacting to Western hypocrisy, or as one actor among many in a morally indistinguishable conflict.
- 42:21It's enough to portray him as a flawed nationalist reacting to Western hypocrisy, or as one actor among many in a morally indistinguishable conflict.
- 42:30The rhetorical softening appears overtly in fringe figures such as Nick Fuentes, whose explicit anti-Semitism and admiration for authoritan regimes directly echo Islamic anti Semitic narratives, despite originating from from a different ideological frame.
- 42:47Fuentes went so far as to say that Hitler is cool.
- 42:50And to compare Oshwood's two Birkenau crematoriums to ovens baking cookies.
- 42:55That's sick.
- 42:56That is disgusting.
- 42:58And people are giving him, you know, what we shouldn't do with Nick Fuentes is just ignore the guy.
- 43:01He is supposed to be just some fringe voice with a few hundred thousand, you know, however many followers he has.
- 43:07He's being bloated by all of the people that are trying to normalize him, such as Tucker Carlson.
- 43:13And there's no evidence that he's getting funded by Qatar, but his content serves Qatari interests by laundering anti-Semitism through Western dissident channels and normalizing hostility toward Jews and Israel inside the United States.
- 43:28The Muslim Brotherhood, like Fuentes, expressed admiration for Hitler and aligned ideologically with Nazi anti-Semitism.
- 43:36Finally, Islamic violence is reframed as resistance rather than terrorism.
- 43:41Under this framework, the intentional targeting of civilians is excused or erased when it's done by Islam.
- 43:48While responsibility is shifted entirely onto Israel or the West.
- 43:53Hamas becomes a resistance movement rather than a genocidal organization, and Jewish victims are rendered morally invisible.
- 44:01The fact that Hamas uses civilians as human shields, in some cases killing their own people to then blame Israel, that doesn't even get mentioned.
- 44:09Now let me be explicit in this point.
- 44:11When I was trained in the Marine Corps during the buildup for Operation Desert Storm, we were told that our job would be to take out the Iraqi military, and that if Iraq put tanks in playgrounds, we were to take out the tanks, even if children were playing on them.
- 44:27A tank is a legitimate military target.
- 44:29And if children are used as human shields, it is the group hiding behind it that is to blame when the children die.
- 44:36What does Hamas do?
- 44:37They put command centers under hospitals and rocket launchers on the roofs of apartment buildings.
- 44:42Hamas wants to commit genocide against the Israeli people, and Hamas is willing to exterminate the people of Gaza to do it.
- 44:49Hamas is very open on this point, by the way.
- 44:51They brag that they will win because they love death more than we love life.
- 44:58Anti-Israel and anti-Western narratives, they're now standard across Al Jazeera coverage, and they're repeated relentlessly by politicians, activists, and commentators across the political spectrum.
- 45:10Whether voiced by members of Congress, university activists, or media figures, the message is the same.
- 45:16Islamic violence is contextualized, it's justified, or is explained away, while Israeli self-defense is treated as criminal.
- 45:23And that's what Israel is doing, by the way.
- 45:25They are defending themselves.
- 45:26They've been attacked, they've been told they're going to be attacked again.
- 45:29They've been told they're going to have October 7th over and over and over again until either Hamas or Israel no longer exists.
- 45:37Well, Israel decided that they're going to exist, so they're going to take out uh Hamas.
- 45:42And it's also Hezbollah now, because same thing.
- 45:45This is for Israel.
- 45:46This is this is life or death.
- 45:47You know, you're looking at Iran possibly having nuclear weapons.
- 45:50The first thing they want to do with him is take out Israel, and Israel's in range of their missiles.
- 45:55They want to take out Israel and they want to take out the United States.
- 45:58They take out Europe if they could.
- 46:00Iran with nuclear weapons.
- 46:02That's that's the suicide cult.
- 46:04You can't let suicide cults have the tools not only to take themselves out, but to take out the rest of the world with them.
- 46:10Iran can never have nuclear weapons.
- 46:12That is the bottom line there.
- 46:14So of course, Israel is going to defend itself, and of course, Israel is going to prevent Iran from having nuclear weapons.
- 46:22And since Iran has been saying death to America for 47 years, we should be on board with that.
- 46:27Iran, not the Iranian people.
- 46:29We have to separate the Iranian people from Iran.
- 46:32And we also have to separate Muslim people from the tenets of Islam that Qatar is pushing, that the Muslim Brotherhood are pushing.
- 46:40I'm not saying all Muslims are bad.
- 46:41I've got friends who are Muslim.
- 46:43I work with people who are Muslim.
- 46:44I'm not saying all Muslims are bad.
- 46:46The majority of Muslims are fine upstanding people.
- 46:48I'm talking about Islam as a religion and as a belief system, and I'm talking about the things that Qatari propaganda, excuse me.
- 46:58Qatari propaganda and the Muslim Brotherhood are spreading.
- 47:01That's what this is about.
- 47:02This is about anti-American, anti-Israel, anti-Semitic propaganda that is being that they're spending billions and billions of dollars, all paid by Qatar.
- 47:14The narratives themselves, they are unmistakably Qatari.
- 47:17Some individuals operate within institutions that are directly funded by Qatari money, and others then they just absorb the message indirectly and perhaps they amplify it for free.
- 47:28Well, they're amplifying the message whether they're getting paid or not.
- 47:31Understand that when the same talking points emerge simultaneously from Islamic media, Western universities, progressive politics, right wing dissident spaces, and mainstream commentary.
- 47:44That's not a coincidence.
- 47:46That is a product of long-term information jihad and the United States is the perfect target.
- 47:53Our modern information economy, it rewards attention above truth.
- 47:57And nothing captures attention more reliably than outrage.
- 48:00Claims that invert moral expectations that accuse trusted institutions of hidden crimes, or that exposed alleged hypocrisy, those are algorithmically favored on social media, and thus they're rewarded.
- 48:12They spread very, very quickly.
- 48:14The more shocking the claim, the more likely it is to be shared, debated, clipped, and of course, defended.
- 48:22Outrage is not just travel faster than the truth.
- 48:25It also monetizes better.
- 48:27Truthful claims that counter these narratives, well, you know, they're given algorithmic suppression.
- 48:32One can share things that run counter to prevailing narratives, but those posts don't show up high enough in people's feeds for anyone to easily see them.
- 48:39How bad is that?
- 48:40I used to be able to count on at least a thousand reads from Facebook on anything that I would share.
- 48:45Anything.
- 48:46If I put something on Facebook, a link to an article that I'd written, whether it was uh on America Out Loud, Global Liberty Media, my personal blog, uh, anywhere.
- 48:55I also write on White Rose magazine, you can catch me there.
- 48:58Uh anywhere I'd put something, if I put it on Facebook, I could I I knew I was going to have at least a thousand reads from Facebook.
- 49:00Anywhere I'd put something, if I put it on Facebook, I could I knew I was going to have at least a thousand reads from Facebook.
- 49:06You can see incidentally where they're coming from.
- 49:06You can see incidentally where they're coming from.
- 49:08They'd come from Facebook.
- 49:08They'd come from Facebook.
- 49:10I know that from my personal blog and other places that I've I've published.
- 49:10I know that from my personal blog and other places that I've I've published.
- 49:13Well, now maybe 50.
- 49:13Well, now maybe 50.
- 49:17A thousand to fifty.
- 49:17A thousand to 50.
- 49:19That's not just me.
- 49:19That's not just me.
- 49:19I'm not saying, oh, they're they're pointing at me.
- 49:19I'm not saying, oh, they're they're pointing at me.
- 49:21No, that is is is conservatives all over the place.
- 49:21No, that is conservatives all over the place.
- 49:25And it's happening not just to conservatives.
- 49:25And it's happening not just to conservatives.
- 49:27They're doing this to liberals too.
- 49:27They're doing this to liberals too.
- 49:29It's just, I think.
- 49:29It's just, I think they enforce their rules not always perfectly evenly.
- 49:33See what the policy is is if you link off-site, such as to White Rose Magazine, such as to America Out Loud, such as to my Substack or My Blog.
- 49:42If you link off their site, you can link to you know other stuff that Meta owns, but if you link off meta, well, they're going to downgrade that.
- 49:50They're going to try to prevent as few people from seeing those links as possible so that they stay in Facebook, Instagram, and other meta spaces.
- 49:57They forward links that stay in Meta, and then they suppress links that leave Meta.
- 50:04Well, that's that's what happens, and the same thing happens with moral clarity.
- 50:09It's the the just it just doesn't spread and it doesn't meet the algorithms as as well, and as a consequence, all of the bullshit is what people hear.
- 50:18The propaganda then, of course, shifts to make believers base their sense of personal virtue on their belief.
- 50:24And once people begin to tie their sense of personal worth to a narrative, I call this uh I call this uh virtue signaling.
- 50:32It is almost impossible to deprogram them.
- 50:36Because they don't just at that point see disbelief in that narrative as wrong, but as evil.
- 50:41Once people begin to believe things they know are not true as a way to signal that virtue, their own.
- 50:48They'll believe anything they hear that comes from the same source, even when that source is as it often is guitar.
- 50:55High school and college-age students are the perfect age for this sort of indoctrination, being in this rebellious little sweet spot where they no longer trust their parents.
- 51:03You're supposed to, as a guy at about 16, think that your dad is, you know, you learn that your parents don't know everything, so you rebel against them for a few years, and then somewhere around 22 or 24 or so.
- 51:14Maybe when you have children or you're married, all of a sudden you're like, you know, I don't know everything either.
- 51:19My parents seem to know a lot more than me, so maybe I'll listen to them again, and then you move out of you move out of that uh that rebellious period.
- 51:26But high school and college age students, they're right in that sweet spot where they're still very, very rebellious and open to learning about how stupid their parents are.
- 51:35And guitar, they're smart to focus so much attention on colleges.
- 51:39It's no surprise it is on colleges where anti-Semitism starts.
- 51:43That's the easiest place to get kids and make them believe things that are not true.
- 51:48The anti-Semit, the anti-Semitic eruptions at Columbia and across the country, they were not spontaneous moral awakenings, nor were they organic expressions of student conscience.
- 51:59No, what they were were the visible service of a much deeper system that having quietly built for decades.
- 52:05When the trigger event arrived, the response was immediate because the infrastructure was already in place.
- 52:13Guitar didn't tell American students what to chant, and they didn't tell American politicians and commentators what to say.
- 52:19What it did is it ensured that the narratives most hostile to Israel, most corrosive to Western moral confidence, and most conspiratorial toward the Jews were the ones that were circulating, and that everything else just kind of comes from there.
- 52:34And this is why the scale of Qatar's wealth matters, and why the long-term alignment between Guitari interests is so important, along with the Muslim Brotherhood's ideology and Western institutional capture, it cannot be dismissed.
- 52:47A tiny citizen population sitting atop staggering energy wealth has used that wealth not to build armies, but to build narratives.
- 52:56The result is that Jews are treated as evil, Israel is treated as illegitimate, and Western civilization is treated as the most oppressive force in the world.
- 53:06The moral clarity of the 20th century is being dismantled peace by piece until even the defeat of Nazism becomes morally ambiguous.
- 53:16Those who resist Islamic violence are then portrayed as the aggressors.
- 53:20The most dangerous propaganda, ladies and gentlemen, is not the kind people recognize as propaganda.
- 53:27It's the kind that allows its targets to feel virtuous for repeating it.
- 53:31Now, what happened in October 7th, 2023 at American campuses?
- 53:36That was not the start of something new.
- 53:38It was the moment, and a long-running campaign became impossible to ignore.
- 53:44And if we can continue to treat these outcomes as isolated, they will continue.
- 53:49We will see Columbia University erupt again.
- 53:52We will see the same 60 universities, maybe next time it'll be 70 getting investigated by uh the federal government for anti-Semitism.
- 54:01Uh, we will see anti-Semitism continuing to spread in big cities.
- 54:05We'll continue to hear anti-Semitic rantings on uh on for on social media.
- 54:10People will continue to hide behind anti-Zionism as a tag instead of anti-Semitism as if it really means anything different.
- 54:18Uh, all of that is going to continue if we don't do something to stop it.
- 54:24What to do?
- 54:25I I honestly don't know because we do have the freedom of speech, the freedom of speech may be uh it may be our maybe our Achilles heel.
- 54:33If we're not willing to confront it, I what do you do?
- 54:35You know, I want to talk about anti-Semitism, but it doesn't spread.
- 54:39I want to tell people, don't do that, but it just that message doesn't seem to want to spread.
- 54:44Now, if we're serious about confronting anti-Semitism and about defending Western moral confidence and about resisting ideological capture, we have to be willing to name the system producing it, and we have to do something to stop that.
- 54:57That system is not mysterious.
- 54:58No, it is well funded, well documented, and patient.
- 55:03That system is guitar.
- 55:05China gets the most attention because senior PLA officers and military theorists, his work is taught on China's war colleges, openly described being engaged in unrestricted asymmetrical warfare against the United States more than 25 years ago.
- 55:20Well, we need to focus in guitar as well, as in the long run, guitar's funding of the Muslim Brotherhood may well be the larger threat.
- 55:27And just like that, ladies and gentlemen, it is time to uh end the show.
- 55:34But that's okay.
- 55:35I got through the whole, I got through we talked about Iran, we talked about their economy, we talked about how the regime is probably gonna fold at this point, no matter what else happens.
- 55:43Uh, and we talked about, of course, guitar and all of the propaganda and and just falsehoods that Qatari propaganda is is that guitar is funding and that is spreading like wildfire all over the West.
- 55:56Anti-Americanism, anti-Israel, anti-Semitic, all of that.

- 56:25Next week will actually be kind of fun because my wife and I will be on vacation in Mexico in the past, and I've gone on vacation to cool places.
- 56:32I haven't really had the equipment to uh to do a show remotely.
- 56:37But the microphone I'm using now is a lot smaller than the one that I used to have.
