- 1:05Speaker 5: waking up early, starting to get easier. Almost doing and
- 1:10Speaker 5: a half months. And it's called a routine. They called
- 1:12Speaker 5: a routine. Still getting there. A nighttime routine. Still hasn't changed.
- 1:15Speaker 5: It's better about midnight. Oh yeah, I mean I cat
- 1:19Speaker 5: INT's always Game of Thrones yesterday, oh a little rewatch, Yeah,
- 1:25Speaker 5: you know it's it's funny. It's like I remember the
- 1:26Speaker 5: beginning of the end. I'm right in the middle and
- 1:28Speaker 5: the good stuff right now, and I don't remember a
- 1:31Speaker 5: lot of like the plot and a lot of the
- 1:33Speaker 5: details that happened, So it's like kind of like watching
- 1:37Speaker 5: it all over again.
- 1:38Speaker 3: Definitely one of those shows where you're going to catch
- 1:40Speaker 3: something you didn't catch first.
- 1:42Speaker 5: Watching it, We're like, I don't remember what happens here.
- 1:45Speaker 5: I don't know who dies.
- 1:47Speaker 4: A lot of.
- 1:48Speaker 5: People might be a child, but I've been an adult.
- 1:50Speaker 5: I don't know what it is.
- 1:51Speaker 4: It could be the most important character of the show
- 1:53Speaker 4: or so.
- 1:53Speaker 5: You think. They're not real sensitive to children's either.
- 1:58Speaker 6: At all. They don't care if you're kid off with
- 2:01Speaker 6: your head.
- 2:01Speaker 5: They actually prefer it sometimes not at all.
- 2:05Speaker 4: Alandra, how we doing doing great?
- 2:08Speaker 2: I got another little dry needling session yesterday, So feel
- 2:12Speaker 2: a little loose, feel a little.
- 2:14Speaker 6: Relaxed for once.
- 2:15Speaker 4: Yeah, there you go.
- 2:17Speaker 6: I actually find it pretty effective. It's like traps, traps, traps,
- 2:21Speaker 6: lower back. Oh it was jumping.
- 2:23Speaker 2: She recorded a video of it, and it was like,
- 2:27Speaker 2: did the lower back in the.
- 2:28Speaker 6: Hip so feel great?
- 2:32Speaker 5: Is amazing?
- 2:33Speaker 6: I actually, like, again, I find it very effective.
- 2:36Speaker 2: I know it's kind of one of those things like
- 2:38Speaker 2: acupuncture where you can kind of like dismiss it or whatever,
- 2:44Speaker 2: but I my shoulder, the back in the hip is
- 2:48Speaker 2: going to take a minute. But like, my shoulder feels
- 2:50Speaker 2: so great, Like it was very tense yesterday, and like,
- 2:53Speaker 2: I don't know, I find.
- 2:55Speaker 5: It is one of those things that's not a no,
- 2:58Speaker 5: it's not like a mental like like sure, it's you know,
- 3:01Speaker 5: it's evolve like the center in your body, the ch
- 3:03Speaker 5: all that stuff. Like you have to like be into it.
- 3:06Speaker 5: And I know it works for a lot of people.
- 3:07Speaker 5: But drying is like straight to the point, right, It
- 3:11Speaker 5: like gets to these trigger points and knots that like
- 3:15Speaker 5: if you massage. If you massage it, it's like might
- 3:18Speaker 5: take multiple treatments, but like you s throw one needle in.
- 3:20Speaker 6: There, yeah, and it's or a couple. She put two
- 3:24Speaker 6: in my traps.
- 3:26Speaker 5: Yeah, I've got a lot of needles fun in this body.
- 3:28Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 3:29Speaker 3: I like it.
- 3:29Speaker 5: It saved my career, gave me about extra three years
- 3:32Speaker 5: of playing time.
- 3:33Speaker 3: Really, clip that up, throw a needle in there, it'll
- 3:37Speaker 3: be good. Yeah. I don't know what you for a lot.
- 3:40Speaker 2: Of people know it's very uncomfortable during the process of it.
- 3:44Speaker 2: I'm not a fan of like the process, but the
- 3:47Speaker 2: results are great.
- 3:49Speaker 5: No, it's not fun by any means it's not awful,
- 3:53Speaker 5: but it's not fun.
- 3:56Speaker 3: How are we doing?
- 3:57Speaker 7: Yeah, we're doing good all things considered. People were driving
- 4:00Speaker 7: megadumb this morning.
- 4:01Speaker 2: So.
- 4:04Speaker 4: I didn't know where you were going to go with that.
- 4:06Speaker 2: I'm like, wait, man, we're gonna be like stopping him
- 4:08Speaker 2: on the street asking for his autograph.
- 4:10Speaker 3: Something happened like in his family or something.
- 4:12Speaker 7: No, no, no, it's just the blood was boiling early
- 4:15Speaker 7: this morning.
- 4:16Speaker 4: Guys, this is the.
- 4:17Speaker 5: Most flustered I've ever seen him when I've come in.
- 4:20Speaker 5: I usually pretty happy for Taylor. Yeah, driving mega dumb.
- 4:28Speaker 6: Of course he's still giving off bad vibes.
- 4:31Speaker 5: Everybody drives megadumb. I'd drive mega dumb something. No, no, no, no.
- 4:35Speaker 7: Like when I got out of the car this morning,
- 4:37Speaker 7: I had to look and I'm like, am I invisible?
- 4:40Speaker 5: I was like, am I actually here?
- 4:42Speaker 7: Because like there were so many people that just like
- 4:44Speaker 7: I'm getting right over.
- 4:48Speaker 5: It could happen.
- 4:49Speaker 7: So I'm like, let me check before I put blame
- 4:52Speaker 7: on others. Let me see if it was something I
- 4:54Speaker 7: did not invisible this morning.
- 4:56Speaker 4: So you can see and everything right here.
- 5:00Speaker 6: The invisible booth me today is.
- 5:01Speaker 4: Like really the kind of the first day of school though.
- 5:03Speaker 6: You know that's true. The head right now. Yeah, shout
- 5:07Speaker 6: out to all the kiddies.
- 5:08Speaker 3: But nobody's going six all the kiddos.
- 5:11Speaker 6: I guess you're right.
- 5:13Speaker 4: Actually, you be surprised.
- 5:16Speaker 3: What I oh, there's I mean, there's buses everywhere like
- 5:20Speaker 3: it's six.
- 5:21Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 5:21Speaker 6: Guess yea a couple of buses in my neighborhood.
- 5:24Speaker 3: Bus schedule starts. Yeah, true, Yeah, but shout out to
- 5:27Speaker 3: the kids, welcome back. It's probably been since May since
- 5:31Speaker 3: you've heard ot B. So glad to have you back
- 5:33Speaker 3: in the car. Shout out to the kiddos.
- 5:35Speaker 5: And all the school buses are just blaring ot B
- 5:37Speaker 5: right now.
- 5:38Speaker 4: Not the school buses, but coast to coast.
- 5:40Speaker 3: There's a lot of families that tune in OTB every
- 5:43Speaker 3: single morning.
- 5:44Speaker 5: Yeah, I got to I got to remind myself, like
- 5:46Speaker 5: it's seven forty five ish, seven forty I need to
- 5:49Speaker 5: give a shout out to my children. Told them I
- 5:50Speaker 5: would because this is a new schedule for the Flynn family.
- 5:54Speaker 5: Usually it was my routine, it was my job. It
- 5:57Speaker 5: was my nice, sweet little moment with the children's to
- 6:00Speaker 5: do drop off every day. But we sacrifice that. Thank
- 6:05Speaker 5: you for your service all the listeners out there, that's right,
- 6:08Speaker 5: So new routine for the kidds. I want to give
- 6:10Speaker 5: them shoutouts. It's them my love and a little bit.
- 6:13Speaker 5: I definitely bet you you remember so I used to
- 6:16Speaker 5: we used to drive to school and I used to
- 6:17Speaker 5: make them listen to like a new song that they've
- 6:22Speaker 5: never heard of. Every day that daddy picks a song
- 6:24Speaker 5: you aren't listening to TV. Oh yeah, oh yeah for sure.
- 6:28Speaker 5: Obviously we had two radios, but it was just one song.
- 6:34Speaker 5: And it was like, you know, I'd play songs that
- 6:36Speaker 5: they haven't heard of, expand their musical horizons, and they
- 6:40Speaker 5: hated it. So it was like my little it was
- 6:42Speaker 5: like my little joy. It was like my little joy.
- 6:46Speaker 5: Can you get pleasure of kind of annoying your kids
- 6:49Speaker 5: sometimes in a nice, sweet little way? And it was like.
- 6:52Speaker 3: No, dad, no, well yeah stuff like that. It was yeah.
- 7:05Speaker 5: Yeah, mm movie that's mister.
- 7:10Speaker 3: D starting out great here seven minutes in with the
- 7:14Speaker 3: kiddo's in the car.
- 7:15Speaker 6: Kids can actually listen to O T B.
- 7:17Speaker 3: Now, well yeah they can, but like I feel much
- 7:20Speaker 3: more confident telling yesterday we had a segment.
- 7:24Speaker 6: They were in school by then.
- 7:25Speaker 3: They were school by then yeah, no, no, no about eight o'clock.
- 7:27Speaker 3: You can whatever, seven to eight. It's gotta be mindful.
- 7:31Speaker 5: Yeah, what I mean, we're a mindful show. I feel
- 7:33Speaker 5: like it's not often like unless it's involved clear sports,
- 7:39Speaker 5: then we're not gonna talk about it.
- 7:43Speaker 3: Stephen inside the by You four chat, listening to O
- 7:45Speaker 3: TV with my daughter.
- 7:46Speaker 4: It's a lot safer now than you longer.
- 7:48Speaker 5: Car And if we're gonna talk about something like I
- 7:51Speaker 5: did yesterday, I gave you a parental discretion, an advisory
- 7:55Speaker 5: if you will. That was out with three Right a second.
- 8:01Speaker 3: I still got I still got some what you're talking
- 8:03Speaker 3: about right now messages, but they're from adults. Well, there
- 8:07Speaker 3: we go.
- 8:07Speaker 5: That's fine.
- 8:08Speaker 6: I mean, that's a pretty absurd topic.
- 8:11Speaker 4: It is.
- 8:11Speaker 6: But I mean, like I'm not saying that it was wrong.
- 8:14Speaker 3: Yeah, but it's totally fine. There's no way to make that,
- 8:17Speaker 3: but it's to show. Yeah, but it happened in sports.
- 8:21Speaker 5: It happened in sports.
- 8:22Speaker 7: Look, anytime I'm filling in and there's like a controversial topic,
- 8:25Speaker 7: I'm like, should I say this my thought processes, I'm good.
- 8:27Speaker 5: T wus to work here. Yeah, that's my thoughts. And
- 8:30Speaker 5: that was kind of my process yesterday. We need to
- 8:34Speaker 5: bring this up. People need to know, and the show's
- 8:39Speaker 5: had a lot worse. So yeah, I was so proud.
- 8:41Speaker 5: I was so proud of our guy. Yesterday.
- 8:44Speaker 3: T Bob went on with Andy Staples on three and
- 8:47Speaker 3: he's sitting there talking about Iowa football and then Iowa
- 8:51Speaker 3: quarterback situation. I'm like, there, two years ago, you didn't
- 8:56Speaker 3: know I would play football, was my man? My man
- 8:59Speaker 3: is he's locked in right now. I mean, he sounded
- 9:05Speaker 3: I know about L s U, but he was locked
- 9:07Speaker 3: into Iowa. I was like, all right, I see you
- 9:10Speaker 3: by he is. I was about to say he moved
- 9:13Speaker 3: to the Midwest. He knows like he knows. The video
- 9:16Speaker 3: games helped his, uh his player knowledge as well.
- 9:19Speaker 4: But I mean, I'm proud of my guy.
- 9:21Speaker 3: He's growing, he's believing in the Hawk guys like any
- 9:25Speaker 3: good Midwesterner should shout out.
- 9:29Speaker 5: It's a big step for him. Yeah, I mean, but
- 9:32Speaker 5: he was texting about L s U stuff and maybe
- 9:34Speaker 5: he just thinks like he did it by like osmosis.
- 9:36Speaker 5: So he's got to spend his time learning about Iowa.
- 9:39Speaker 3: And again again this a compliment, he crushed it. I
- 9:45Speaker 3: guess I guess we'll talk about nuss Meyer and the
- 9:49Speaker 3: rumor they got started like real quick and just took
- 9:53Speaker 3: up like half my trying to apply to people, and
- 9:56Speaker 3: it wasn't. I was just trying to put out tweet
- 9:58Speaker 3: like hey, I like, hey, he's good, Like we could
- 10:02Speaker 3: all relax. So I was like, we can all relax.
- 10:05Speaker 3: And then people took it like I was saying relax.
- 10:07Speaker 3: I think like Aaron Rodgers said it, you know, and
- 10:10Speaker 3: spelled it out. But I wasn't. I was just like, hey,
- 10:12Speaker 3: we can all relax, all of us because I was
- 10:14Speaker 3: over there and I know it was a close practice,
- 10:16Speaker 3: but I went over there a little bit and I
- 10:17Speaker 3: was watching and then left. I was like, hold up,
- 10:19Speaker 3: I didn't sit backdown and I don't remember anything happening,
- 10:23Speaker 3: Like what what do you mean? And it started to
- 10:24Speaker 3: pop off, and during my Serious XM show, I had
- 10:27Speaker 3: like three national writers write me and I'm like, what
- 10:31Speaker 3: are y'all talking about? Like I was, I was there nothing,
- 10:34Speaker 3: I didn't see anything. Now I didn't see it the
- 10:35Speaker 3: whole time, but I'm like, what's going on here? Right?
- 10:39Speaker 3: So straight up? This is this is this is the
- 10:42Speaker 3: info that I have see it buzzing. I make two
- 10:48Speaker 3: phone calls to the two people that would tell me
- 10:52Speaker 3: straight up, and they said one hundred percent. Falls were good,
- 10:56Speaker 3: hung on the phone, didn't think about it again.
- 10:59Speaker 5: But it's like, didn't fall off.
- 11:01Speaker 3: It did not fall off, Thank goodness, hero one.
- 11:04Speaker 4: He did not get carted off the field.
- 11:06Speaker 5: Oh that's good.
- 11:08Speaker 3: So I don't look. I don't know how these things
- 11:11Speaker 3: get started. I don't know. I don't know how it
- 11:15Speaker 3: catches fire. It seems to happen here are more times
- 11:20Speaker 3: than it does other places, and maybe that's just because
- 11:22Speaker 3: we're close to the case here. But as soon as
- 11:26Speaker 3: it started, I'm like, okay, I don't think this is true.
- 11:31Speaker 3: Let me call some sources. Called them, said we're good.
- 11:35Speaker 3: We're good. It's about all I thought about it. But
- 11:38Speaker 3: it did not go to bed last night. My phone
- 11:40Speaker 3: was just blowing up messages, tweets, dms.
- 11:47Speaker 5: Maybe I'm just staying off the socials more now. And
- 11:50Speaker 5: I didn't hear anything until Taylor told me about this morning.
- 11:53Speaker 5: He said, an I had a good time looking scrolling
- 11:55Speaker 5: the message.
- 11:55Speaker 3: Wait wait wait, wait wait wait, you're telling me all
- 11:59Speaker 3: day yesterday you didn't hear any of that.
- 12:01Speaker 5: Uh nothing, I've been locked in at work, brother, I
- 12:10Speaker 5: was doing some card breaks last night. I wasn't locked
- 12:13Speaker 5: into the socials.
- 12:17Speaker 2: There's like one point my timeline got flooded and I
- 12:20Speaker 2: was like, okay.
- 12:21Speaker 4: I wonder like how how it didn't find its way?
- 12:24Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 12:24Speaker 3: But also like to your eyesight.
- 12:26Speaker 2: None of the group chats were popping off either, so
- 12:28Speaker 2: I was like, oh, this is We're fine.
- 12:30Speaker 6: Like the o TV chat wasn't popping off.
- 12:34Speaker 5: My sports comes from the OTB group.
- 12:37Speaker 7: Yeah, shout out to you man, that's awesome.
- 12:40Speaker 5: Give it us.
- 12:41Speaker 6: Credit to myself, credit to myself for looking at the
- 12:47Speaker 6: o TV.
- 12:47Speaker 3: Group chat, col Cole and Chad, like, I love you,
- 12:51Speaker 3: my guy, but I don't have to give you the
- 12:53Speaker 3: nitty gritty of what I know about anything, the details.
- 12:58Speaker 3: Just I can leave it at that. Yeah, he's good, okay,
- 13:03Speaker 3: but the question like I don't but and that's why
- 13:06Speaker 3: people are mad. I'm like, he doesn't have a major injury.
- 13:08Speaker 3: It's like it's camp, Like thing's gonna pop up in
- 13:12Speaker 3: camp for every single player. Like, with all due respect,
- 13:16Speaker 3: like I don't have to give you that information. Like
- 13:19Speaker 3: I said, he's good, he's good, and let's move on
- 13:22Speaker 3: with them. With other day like that. I don't understand
- 13:26Speaker 3: why people didn't understand that yesterday it wasn't saying like relax,
- 13:30Speaker 3: like no, hey, we can all relax, Like whoof my god.
- 13:34Speaker 3: I just don't understand why you think that it's I
- 13:40Speaker 3: need to give you more than that. That's the confusing
- 13:43Speaker 3: part to me.
- 13:47Speaker 2: Like doesn't Brian Kelly usually give like a why, Like
- 13:50Speaker 2: let's just.
- 13:53Speaker 6: Wait for Brian Kelly to tell us what he wants to,
- 13:56Speaker 6: you know, like I.
- 13:57Speaker 3: Think lsu actually anything that's a hip.
- 14:01Speaker 5: Of my Yeah, I mean, it is normal for people
- 14:04Speaker 5: to be nervous quarterback.
- 14:07Speaker 4: I get being nervous.
- 14:09Speaker 3: I was nervous, But if a guy is.
- 14:11Speaker 5: Injured, they like they have to let you know.
- 14:14Speaker 7: Tomorrow noon, you will know everything you want to because
- 14:17Speaker 7: Joe Sloan is meeting with the media.
- 14:19Speaker 5: And he will be asked about it. No, that's it.
- 14:21Speaker 5: They're not going to ask about it. Probably at the
- 14:23Speaker 5: end of the interview.
- 14:24Speaker 7: I think I think probably the first might be able
- 14:26Speaker 7: to slip it in.
- 14:27Speaker 5: So what we're saying is they're just not injured. Maybe
- 14:32Speaker 5: he got his toe, step dog got Oh my god,
- 14:33Speaker 5: I used to training Campe. He could have a cramp
- 14:37Speaker 5: and have to stretch it out. Definitely the way I
- 14:44Speaker 5: used to get training camp and oh my god, because
- 14:49Speaker 5: the linemen they're there and like sometimes like training camp,
- 14:53Speaker 5: like the dog Day's linemen are trying to like get
- 14:56Speaker 5: an extra little half step and so that maybe moved
- 14:58Speaker 5: before the snap a little bit. Man, I get my
- 15:00Speaker 5: toe stepped on so much. And even like in the
- 15:03Speaker 5: pocket moving around me, you catch friendly fire all the time.
- 15:06Speaker 5: I mean, it's training camps football, Like what's a collision sport?
- 15:09Speaker 5: So well, I used to limp off the field, wimp
- 15:12Speaker 5: off practice all the time.
- 15:15Speaker 3: I don't leg never fell off. That's true. It's true.
- 15:19Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 15:21Speaker 3: But it's what.
- 15:22Speaker 5: It's week two of training camps, so it's it's time
- 15:24Speaker 5: to overanalyze everything. But it's I mean, I get it.
- 15:27Speaker 5: Everybody should be nervous if there's any news on star players,
- 15:31Speaker 5: whatever it is.
- 15:34Speaker 3: And I understood. I understood the nerves there. And that's why,
- 15:38Speaker 3: like I was like, we can relax. I meant we
- 15:40Speaker 3: all can relax, not like you know your boy Aaron
- 15:44Speaker 3: said it.
- 15:44Speaker 5: Yeah, it's not relax. I'm sure everything it's gonna be okay.
- 15:48Speaker 5: It's no relax everything's okay.
- 15:50Speaker 3: Yeah said yeah, called, I said, we're good.
- 15:54Speaker 4: Okay.
- 15:55Speaker 3: I didn't dive into it, and so I'm not leaving
- 15:57Speaker 3: it vague one. That's not my responsibility because I'm not
- 16:00Speaker 3: a doctor too. I didn't do a deep dive into it.
- 16:03Speaker 3: It's like, okay, I need thirteen back there. She's gonna
- 16:06Speaker 3: be back there. Okay.
- 16:07Speaker 5: He is cool, And I get everybody always wants the
- 16:10Speaker 5: details of everything. Of course, that's human nature. That's what
- 16:13Speaker 5: we want. Like we're where everybody's emotionally spiritually invested in
- 16:17Speaker 5: LSU and smier uh being the being the leader in
- 16:22Speaker 5: the quarterback and that's like if you've been watching NFL
- 16:27Speaker 5: sports and college sports, like you don't get the details
- 16:30Speaker 5: coming out of practice immediately, you get them, Like I mean,
- 16:32Speaker 5: it'll like if there was something, if he you know,
- 16:37Speaker 5: got a splinter in his toe and he limped off,
- 16:39Speaker 5: we'll learn about that.
- 16:41Speaker 3: Today an off day anyways.
- 16:43Speaker 4: Yes, yeah, of course it is.
- 16:46Speaker 5: Oh man, the rumor today will be practice today. Yeah,
- 16:52Speaker 5: what he's not practicing not today.
- 16:56Speaker 6: We need to backtrack this conversation, Michael van Era.
- 17:03Speaker 3: So Quinn just said, Michael van Buren linked it.
- 17:08Speaker 5: Does anybody Okay, y'all too, the youngins. Anybody know what
- 17:12Speaker 5: the Van Buren Boys are.
- 17:14Speaker 6: Yeah, it sounds familiar, like it's I know what it is,
- 17:18Speaker 6: but I.
- 17:18Speaker 5: Do you know what it is?
- 17:19Speaker 3: The wrestlers.
- 17:22Speaker 5: Family. Okay, No, it's an episode of Seinfeld.
- 17:26Speaker 3: Oh I didn't watch Seinfeld. I mean the ones I did,
- 17:29Speaker 3: they're funny, Like I didn't watch it from start to finish.
- 17:32Speaker 5: It's been a long time. I used to watch Seinfel
- 17:34Speaker 5: as a kiss, so i' spent a long time since
- 17:35Speaker 5: I've seen the episode. So don't like kill me over
- 17:37Speaker 5: here if I get this wrong, But I think the
- 17:39Speaker 5: Van Buren Boys were like this gang in New York
- 17:43Speaker 5: City in the in the episode of Seinfeld, and they
- 17:45Speaker 5: had a gang sign and it was thrown up seven fingers. Yeah,
- 17:48Speaker 5: he's the seventh president that was there. Yeah. Anyway, if
- 17:52Speaker 5: you're listening to you know, you know what I'm talking about.
- 17:54Speaker 6: Seinfeld?
- 17:55Speaker 5: Oh Man so good, so good. Anyway, Van Buren Boys.
- 18:03Speaker 5: So if he ever plays.
- 18:04Speaker 4: Such a deep cut that nobody in this studio or
- 18:09Speaker 4: in the chat.
- 18:10Speaker 5: I'm not gonna judge. My statement and my joke about
- 18:14Speaker 5: the Van Buren Boys based on y'all three right now,
- 18:17Speaker 5: because it's not like it's I don't, I don't. I
- 18:21Speaker 5: don't feel the Seinfeld vibes in this.
- 18:23Speaker 6: Yeah, I'm not a sign.
- 18:25Speaker 5: There's not a lot of Seinfeld.
- 18:26Speaker 6: More of a Friends girl.
- 18:28Speaker 3: But I'll watch more Friends than I did Seinfeld.
- 18:30Speaker 5: Yeah, anybody in the chat, come on, somebody give me
- 18:35Speaker 5: a little feedback, give me something.
- 18:37Speaker 3: Oh, there you go, Rob says, I was about to
- 18:39Speaker 3: say it.
- 18:39Speaker 5: Matt Boom.
- 18:40Speaker 4: There you go, seventh President, There you go, well done,
- 18:43Speaker 4: well done.
- 18:44Speaker 3: All right, we got a lot to get to, a
- 18:45Speaker 3: lot of comments about you know, all the things that
- 18:48Speaker 3: we had there.
- 18:49Speaker 4: But look the good news is no Smart's leg did
- 18:54Speaker 4: not fall off.
- 18:55Speaker 5: Well that's good, much better.
- 18:59Speaker 3: They're gonna get an extra rest day today, which was
- 19:02Speaker 3: planned because of a cover up. Noock y'all, though I

- 21:11Speaker 3: I was I was laughing at a message that you
- 21:14Speaker 3: and I got. But that's that's something too sure is.
- 21:19Speaker 5: You guys are crazy. Man. If you're wondering what we're
- 21:24Speaker 5: talking about, you got chat. If you don't know, like
- 21:31Speaker 5: if you just listen to us every day, like we're
- 21:33Speaker 5: pretty active in the chat we are. If you want
- 21:36Speaker 5: to say, here you see you, we don't see everything.
- 21:40Speaker 3: Yeah, if we take if we take a pause and
- 21:43Speaker 3: you're listening on a radio, don't or we're just chicken
- 21:45Speaker 3: pecking away over here.
- 21:47Speaker 4: Neither one of usk typing class.
- 21:48Speaker 5: And it shows most of the times just defending ourselves.
- 21:51Speaker 4: No, I don't care about that. That's the only thing.
- 21:53Speaker 4: The only thing that upset me yesterday.
- 21:55Speaker 3: The only thing because look, we come on here and
- 21:57Speaker 3: we read tiger droppings, things that are making in front
- 22:00Speaker 3: of us, and I think it's hilarious. The only thing
- 22:02Speaker 3: that upset me yesterday is like I just want to
- 22:05Speaker 3: put out there, hey, confirm he's good, Like we can
- 22:10Speaker 3: all relax. And then people took the way I said
- 22:11Speaker 3: relax like in a way that I was like being
- 22:14Speaker 3: dismissive of the starting quarterback potentially getting hurt. And then
- 22:18Speaker 3: it just started flooding through. It's like, well, I need
- 22:21Speaker 3: you to be more specific I'm like, well, one, no,
- 22:24Speaker 3: and you know two. Just the word that I got
- 22:28Speaker 3: was everything's good to go, moving forward, there's nothing, let's go.
- 22:33Speaker 3: It's like but like you can't, we gotta spell it out, bud.
- 22:37Speaker 3: I know, like I wish there was different fonts on
- 22:39Speaker 3: social media, like if you had a sarcasm fun, you
- 22:42Speaker 3: had a like, hey, no, I'm telling the truth, this
- 22:44Speaker 3: is not a joke fun. But there's not.
- 22:46Speaker 5: Well, they do say that, well, this was this was
- 22:48Speaker 5: a study done years ago, not talking about social media,
- 22:51Speaker 5: but they said I think it was seventy to eighty percent.
- 22:56Speaker 5: I think it was closer to eighty eighty percent of
- 22:59Speaker 5: tech messages are actually misunderstood, misinterpreted, misinterpreted if you will,
- 23:08Speaker 5: like the meaning of it, the tone behind it. So
- 23:12Speaker 5: I can only imagine that if you're sitting there and
- 23:14Speaker 5: telling people to relax, that it would be misinterpreted by
- 23:19Speaker 5: a lot of people. And like I said, everybody, emotionally.
- 23:23Speaker 4: Are you taking are you going?
- 23:24Speaker 3: Are you going against me?
- 23:25Speaker 5: Here?
- 23:26Speaker 4: Are you saying that I'm in the wrong here.
- 23:28Speaker 5: Like I'm not saying that, I'm just selling it. Like
- 23:31Speaker 5: I get it. Things are misinterpreted all the time, especially
- 23:34Speaker 5: when people are invested in something because we're all jumped
- 23:38Speaker 5: on that nust bus. We are all on it. That's
- 23:41Speaker 5: a big ass bus. We're excited about it. And so
- 23:46Speaker 5: let's say if something comes out like that.
- 23:48Speaker 3: So yeah, Matthew seven seven, oh yeah, big old bus.
- 23:52Speaker 5: Thank you.
- 23:54Speaker 4: You just called nuts fat.
- 23:56Speaker 3: Feels like it pH good saveep.
- 24:03Speaker 4: Let's go ahead and get the show started.

- 24:35Speaker 5: It's right there on Jerfal. I went the other day,
- 24:37Speaker 5: two days ago. I went and like an amazing location
- 24:40Speaker 5: right there on Jefferson. I was in and out probably
- 24:42Speaker 5: in thirty maybe forty five minutes tops. And that's with
- 24:47Speaker 5: like creating an account, signing up, like filling in all
- 24:49Speaker 5: my all the medical information, all that stuff. And uh yeah,
- 24:53Speaker 5: I was a little bit out of the weather man.
- 24:54Speaker 5: I got some amazing energy. So go check them out.
- 24:57Speaker 5: If you haven't done IV treavement before, go see that.

- 25:02Speaker 5: services and everything. So go check them out. Go flow
- 25:04Speaker 5: iv dot com.
- 25:04Speaker 3: Yeah to do five nine five three eight one five zero.
- 25:08Speaker 3: All right, going through, don't clarify something. Oh god, he
- 25:11Speaker 3: does not know how this works. Sorry, I gotta clarify something. Yeah,
- 25:15Speaker 3: you should have clarified that like earlier. What is it.
- 25:20Speaker 5: Van Buren was the eighth president? Oh not the seventh.
- 25:29Speaker 4: That's what you stopped me for.
- 25:31Speaker 2: Okay, we can't be spreading misinformation off the heels, like yeah, I.
- 25:38Speaker 5: Know, I know. I give this information, Andrew Jackson, we.
- 25:43Speaker 4: Give the information that we know is factual.
- 25:46Speaker 3: And then you said and then you said seventh.
- 25:48Speaker 7: I thought it was factual when I said it was
- 25:51Speaker 7: supposed to believe us about Nelsmeyer.
- 25:53Speaker 5: If we don't even know our president, it's what is it?
- 25:56Speaker 5: I don't know you sort of integrity? Journalistic? Journalistic that's
- 26:03Speaker 5: the first I know.
- 26:05Speaker 6: Well, TV miss is overweight reporting to camp.
- 26:08Speaker 5: Yeah, this is fat damn. Buren's the seventh president. Not
- 26:11Speaker 5: the eighth. So that's my bad. I get a lot
- 26:14Speaker 5: of my my history. Well, no from Seinfeld clearly, and
- 26:19Speaker 5: I miss misinterpreted it. So it was actually they held
- 26:22Speaker 5: up eight fingers for the Van Buren boys.
- 26:24Speaker 3: Yeah, nice, nice comment there, Ben that that's good. That's
- 26:28Speaker 3: a good that's good stuff. All right, And Jared, I'll
- 26:32Speaker 3: get to your question because I actually really am excited
- 26:34Speaker 3: to talk l s U running game like we've talked
- 26:38Speaker 3: about throughout the week.
- 26:39Speaker 2: Uh.
- 26:39Speaker 3: But Taylor's done a great job of putting the l
- 26:42Speaker 3: U defensive bat group here inside the document, and it
- 26:45Speaker 3: is a group that Taylor's talked about a couple of
- 26:47Speaker 3: times already in training camp. It's a group that when
- 26:50Speaker 3: Flynn and I went out to practice over the weekend,
- 26:53Speaker 3: we certainly noticed that they were making some plays. They
- 26:56Speaker 3: look a little different back there than they had the
- 26:58Speaker 3: last couple of years.
- 26:59Speaker 4: And we all know we are.
- 27:03Speaker 3: We aren't telling you something that you don't know. It
- 27:06Speaker 3: was a position group that has struggled for a couple
- 27:09Speaker 3: of years now. As far as what we know, LSU's
- 27:12Speaker 3: devens the back room to be the first year that
- 27:16Speaker 3: the new staff got here, the year you make the
- 27:17Speaker 3: SEC Championship game. I actually thought they did a really
- 27:20Speaker 3: nice job of identifying players in the portal and bringing
- 27:23Speaker 3: in veteran players, and that group geled together really fast,
- 27:27Speaker 3: and they patched a lot of holes with that group.
- 27:31Speaker 4: But the problem is.
- 27:33Speaker 3: Once you patch holes like that consistently over time, the
- 27:38Speaker 3: flex seal is going to pop and it's not going
- 27:40Speaker 3: to hold it together. And that's what happened. And you
- 27:43Speaker 3: were like you literally last year you held that thing
- 27:47Speaker 3: together with duck tape and super glued. But now you
- 27:51Speaker 3: go get some good players, all conference players from other
- 27:56Speaker 3: power for conferences. You go to Virginia Tech, you go
- 27:58Speaker 3: to Houston, you go to Florida, you go to n
- 28:03Speaker 3: C State, and you pair those players with players that
- 28:07Speaker 3: you recruited out of high school. Your PJ. Woodland starting,
- 28:11Speaker 3: you know, to take steps and starting to look like
- 28:13Speaker 3: somebody's going to be able to help you had a
- 28:15Speaker 3: big interception of the day that we went to Viano
- 28:18Speaker 3: somebody that was highly talented. He's starting to continue to develop.
- 28:22Speaker 3: DJ Pickett he's a freshman, but my god, does he
- 28:24Speaker 3: looked a part. He's rolling in there with the ones.
- 28:27Speaker 3: I mean the other day when we were in practice.
- 28:30Speaker 3: It was the ones and I guess I guess DJ
- 28:33Speaker 3: might have had like, hey, you're going to get the
- 28:34Speaker 3: first three reps and then you know, go out after
- 28:36Speaker 3: three plays. He was walking on the field and court
- 28:38Speaker 3: Riham goes, hey, hey, no, no, no, I need you
- 28:40Speaker 3: in here for two more. I want to see something.
- 28:41Speaker 5: Yep.
- 28:42Speaker 3: I don't know what he wanted to see. It's like
- 28:43Speaker 3: I want to see something, so he said, come get
- 28:45Speaker 3: two more. So like there's a plan for him to
- 28:47Speaker 3: be on the field.
- 28:47Speaker 5: That guy looks like when you you said, yeah, that
- 28:49Speaker 5: gout a freshman ut there. I was like, what he
- 28:52Speaker 5: looks the part? Tall lean kind of reminds me of
- 28:58Speaker 5: not making plan in to comparisons just from like a
- 29:00Speaker 5: stature stampolet like a Richard Sherman like tall, long arms,
- 29:03Speaker 5: long legs, like he looks the part. And I was
- 29:08Speaker 5: really really excited and came away with a real positive
- 29:12Speaker 5: attitude of the DB's the whole practice because they weren't
- 29:17Speaker 5: they They didn't make every play like like that. They
- 29:20Speaker 5: made some throws it was kind of like back and forth,
- 29:22Speaker 5: but they every throw that Nuss made was contested like
- 29:26Speaker 5: they were there making plays on the ball. Playing with
- 29:29Speaker 5: high energy and it just looks it looked really good,
- 29:34Speaker 5: looked like a healthy defensive back group. And and it's
- 29:37Speaker 5: something that we've been a little bit and maybe not
- 29:40Speaker 5: nervous about, just wanting to see how all these new
- 29:43Speaker 5: transfers kind of gelled with the office, but like seeing
- 29:45Speaker 5: it firsthand from a from the sideline, so you get
- 29:49Speaker 5: to really get respect for the game speed that they're
- 29:52Speaker 5: playing with in practice. Like that that practice speed, like
- 29:55Speaker 5: every throw was contested. They were they can play on
- 29:58Speaker 5: the ball. It wasn't like the balls in the air
- 30:01Speaker 5: and they were attacking it and it was It was
- 30:04Speaker 5: refreshing to see. And I know we've got a lot
- 30:06Speaker 5: of safety rotation, rotating a lot of safeties in and
- 30:09Speaker 5: I said it when I gave you the breakdown of
- 30:12Speaker 5: k Club next game, we are going to have to
- 30:14Speaker 5: have great safety play to contain him. He doesn't read
- 30:18Speaker 5: safeties great. That's probably one of his weakest things as
- 30:21Speaker 5: we as reading like safety rotation where they out on
- 30:24Speaker 5: the depth of field. He made a lot of throws
- 30:27Speaker 5: last year that could have been intercepted or batted down
- 30:31Speaker 5: by safeties, but he made the throw anyway, and it
- 30:33Speaker 5: just worked out a safety would slip and fall and
- 30:35Speaker 5: then guy would catch it and you know, run seventy
- 30:37Speaker 5: eighty yards. But also like so I think a safety
- 30:40Speaker 5: can take advantage of a bad read or miss time
- 30:44Speaker 5: throw by Kade during the game and maybe come up
- 30:46Speaker 5: with a big pick. But more importantly, what I say
- 30:48Speaker 5: a safety is going to be like hugely important in
- 30:50Speaker 5: that first game is because of how he can move
- 30:54Speaker 5: and the called quarterback runs that they'll sprinkle in there,
- 30:57Speaker 5: but just being able to move in the pocket so
- 30:59Speaker 5: far safe can contain cover first and then break down
- 31:04Speaker 5: hill to contain him. It's gonna be important because if
- 31:08Speaker 5: we do not get good safety play in that first game,
- 31:11Speaker 5: Kate Cleve's gonna pop off.
- 31:12Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, He's gonna do it with his arm and
- 31:14Speaker 3: with his legs. And the one thing l Shu's defense
- 31:17Speaker 3: certainly struggled against, now Jaylen Milroe is kind of a
- 31:20Speaker 3: cheat code, but and quarterback runs were something that LSU
- 31:24Speaker 3: now you know.
- 31:25Speaker 4: They did better against Jackson Dart.
- 31:27Speaker 3: I think he popped one long runoff and Jackson Dart
- 31:30Speaker 3: certainly had some big moments with his legs as well.
- 31:33Speaker 3: But when you played the elite running quarterbacks, that's really
- 31:36Speaker 3: where you got into trouble and Kate Clebnick. I mean
- 31:38Speaker 3: he ran for over what it was like over five
- 31:40Speaker 3: hundred yards a year ago, so he kind of falls
- 31:43Speaker 3: into that category. He is somebody that certainly can beat
- 31:45Speaker 3: you with his legs.
- 31:46Speaker 5: Well, I think I think he like statistically had four
- 31:48Speaker 5: uner and fifty or sixty yards, But like if you
- 31:51Speaker 5: don't count the sacks, don't.
- 31:52Speaker 3: Le Jeifer Fishery, you take this sack yards away, Like
- 31:56Speaker 3: how stupid is that to make sacks hated it?
- 32:00Speaker 5: He had over six had almost seven hundred old rushing
- 32:02Speaker 5: if you take sack yardage away, which should not be
- 32:06Speaker 5: part of it.
- 32:07Speaker 3: Out there, this one, you know, it's a group that
- 32:09Speaker 3: you've been very excited about going out there because last
- 32:13Speaker 3: year you came in here, you sat down and you said, hey,
- 32:15Speaker 3: this group's not good, this group is struggling in camp,
- 32:18Speaker 3: and you've kind of changed your tune so far this year.
- 32:21Speaker 5: Yeah, I just I think you're a lot deeper.
- 32:23Speaker 7: Like, okay, you would take a corner duo of PJ
- 32:26Speaker 7: Woodland and DJ pick at all Day based on how
- 32:29Speaker 7: they performed in camp.
- 32:30Speaker 5: Whose have kind of been the twos?
- 32:32Speaker 7: I mean, you know they've all rotated in a corner.
- 32:35Speaker 7: But I just think, like I'm not one that normally
- 32:38Speaker 7: speaks on hyperbole, but I think right now this is
- 32:41Speaker 7: the best secondary Brian Kelly's had since he's been here,
- 32:44Speaker 7: top the bottom depth wise corner safety.
- 32:47Speaker 5: I just think it is.
- 32:49Speaker 7: And an interesting note, like we're we're talking about the
- 32:51Speaker 7: rotation of the corners of the safeties, they're they're moving
- 32:54Speaker 7: in and out a lot when the ones are out there,
- 32:56Speaker 7: Astion Stamps doesn't come off a whole lot, right which
- 32:59Speaker 7: is important. You need that one guy that number one corner.
- 33:03Speaker 7: Right now, it kind of seems like Stamps is that guy.
- 33:05Speaker 7: When you were out last Wednesday, me and Flynn talked
- 33:08Speaker 7: about a little bit and my fault was, this guy's
- 33:11Speaker 7: a three year player in this program.
- 33:13Speaker 5: You need a leader in that room.
- 33:14Speaker 7: I wanted Stamps to be the guy to step up,
- 33:16Speaker 7: and it kind of looks like he's doing that.
- 33:20Speaker 3: So between you got Delaine from Virginia Tech, you got
- 33:24Speaker 3: Cooley from NC State, Halsee from Houston. Those players are
- 33:28Speaker 3: going to be impactful for you. But also, like I said,
- 33:31Speaker 3: it's a nice blend of Ashen Stamps and DJ Pickett
- 33:35Speaker 3: and Toviano and Woodland guys that and Spears is somebody
- 33:38Speaker 3: who hadn't even talked about yet, and certainly he ended
- 33:40Speaker 3: the year kind of flashing for you in the defensive backfield.
- 33:43Speaker 3: So like those players that kind of had to end
- 33:45Speaker 3: last year stepping up, now they get a chance to,
- 33:48Speaker 3: I don't want to say step back, but they get
