In which I awaken amid the Beast Folk on Moreau’s Island, finding uneasy companionship with a loyal Dog-man and tentative sway over their fragmented assemblies, yet witness with growing dread their rapid and relentless reversion to a more bestial state. With solitude and danger closing in, I struggle to build means of escape while the island’s mutant inhabitants slip further from humanity and their fractured society descends into chaotic beastliness.
