- 0:00Speaker 1: For all your Man Bastards Loving the Big Show podcast
- 0:05Speaker 1: Get Up Even Closer on Instagram, YouTube and picture for
- 0:10Speaker 1: Raw doggets four.
- 0:11Speaker 2: To seven every weekday on radio Hurraca Yielder Kielder Fellows.
- 0:17Speaker 3: And here we are for the first time ever out
- 0:20Speaker 3: West my hood, man my hood and Keyesy's hood.
- 0:23Speaker 4: This isn't really your hood, though, is it?
- 0:25Speaker 2: Well? How far?
- 0:26Speaker 4: How long will it take for you to drive to
- 0:27Speaker 4: your house from here?
- 0:28Speaker 3: About ten minutes, ten to twelve It depends on the traffic.
- 0:34Speaker 3: But but I'm very familiar with this area, Mogi. Of
- 0:37Speaker 3: course shortened street films just down the road. There ISPs
- 0:40Speaker 3: broken wood films just down the road here, So I'm
- 0:43Speaker 3: very familiar with the street.
- 0:44Speaker 1: Well, it is interesting because, as you say, you both
- 0:47Speaker 1: fuck up Uppa to west Auckland. And so we'll see
- 0:51Speaker 1: how much your your your people, your ewe, your happoo,
- 0:58Speaker 1: We'll see how you have. What's going to see how
- 1:00Speaker 1: into you they really are going to see if they
- 1:02Speaker 1: turn up in their drove to support a local legend
- 1:06Speaker 1: or a couple of local legends. Because at the moment
- 1:08Speaker 1: it's not it's not looking good.
- 1:09Speaker 5: Well, I'm to be honest, I'm not. I'm just you know,
- 1:11Speaker 5: I'm a recent adopter of west Auckland. You know, we
- 1:16Speaker 5: go to east coast, we go to Gismond, we go
- 1:18Speaker 5: to a Portugues. That's where they'll come out and drove
- 1:20Speaker 5: to support.
- 1:21Speaker 1: So sort of places that we know we're never going
- 1:23Speaker 1: to get that definitely don't have our frequency.
- 1:26Speaker 3: My concern is that because most West Aalkland is the
- 1:29Speaker 3: backbones that we work until six or seven getting a
- 1:32Speaker 3: sweat on.
- 1:33Speaker 2: Most of them don't have jobs.
- 1:34Speaker 3: And if not, if they're not doing that, then you
- 1:37Speaker 3: know they're probably out at some coastline somewhere, cast in
- 1:40Speaker 3: their lines.
- 1:41Speaker 6: Out having a bit of a fish.
- 1:42Speaker 3: Yeah, because there's a lot of hunt and fishing out
- 1:44Speaker 3: West Magie.
- 1:46Speaker 6: A lot of hunter fishermen are on the.
- 1:48Speaker 2: Back end of a meth pipe.
- 1:49Speaker 4: You're say, what about women, Jason is just fishermen.
- 1:53Speaker 3: People, because and that's the thing about west Auckland. Women
- 2:02Speaker 3: immediately hang on their backbones. You know, they're the sort
- 2:08Speaker 3: that you know, you'll catch a fession or they'll catch
- 2:11Speaker 3: a fashion, they'll wrap its guts out and you have
- 2:14Speaker 3: it fellat in a minute.
- 2:15Speaker 2: Mate.
- 2:15Speaker 3: Oh really that that type of woman. They'll give birth
- 2:18Speaker 3: to a child and then be out how in the
- 2:21Speaker 3: lawn within an hour.
- 2:23Speaker 2: Lawn, Yeah, they mow the lawns mostly.
- 2:25Speaker 6: Are we ho out this way.
- 2:29Speaker 4: Of hard grafts to astonished?
- 2:33Speaker 5: Full full disclosure Fellas I gave Mogie the heads up,
- 2:36Speaker 5: I was in a hurr of a mood all day
- 2:37Speaker 5: to day, really ship mood.
- 2:40Speaker 2: We should talk about that.
- 2:41Speaker 5: And so I had to go and do some di
- 2:42Speaker 5: wire around the house, a job that my wife had
- 2:44Speaker 5: me up about yesterday. And I was originally responded quite
- 2:46Speaker 5: negatively to her heading me out.
- 2:48Speaker 2: What was it.
- 2:49Speaker 5: It was like repair this bit of wood near the
- 2:51Speaker 5: shower which gets water on at the paintstone and a
- 2:53Speaker 5: flake off, and and I was like, oh, oh yeah
- 2:56Speaker 5: you know, And so I did it.
- 2:57Speaker 6: It sounds like my whole house.
- 2:58Speaker 4: Yeah, we call the hoidy j step.
- 3:02Speaker 5: So I managed to appear that well, I get that,
- 3:04Speaker 5: get their job on the way, spit about two hours
- 3:05Speaker 5: on it, and now I feel a lot better.
- 3:06Speaker 4: But I'm still a wee bit pissed off. I don't
- 3:08Speaker 4: know what though.
- 3:09Speaker 6: Okay, so there's no.
- 3:11Speaker 4: So I'll be relying on you guys to chimney.
- 3:12Speaker 3: There's no real explanation as to why you're because I was.
- 3:16Speaker 3: I was just commenting on what a good moods you
- 3:18Speaker 3: seem to be and to the point where I feel
- 3:21Speaker 3: like you've taken drugs or you're on E or something.
- 3:23Speaker 2: I'm not on anything. It feels like it's a go
- 3:25Speaker 2: easy on keezy day.
- 3:26Speaker 4: That's definitely not what happened.
- 3:28Speaker 5: Is I was in a hor of a mood at
- 3:29Speaker 5: home and then you know, doing stuff, and that was fine,
- 3:32Speaker 5: but then you get here, you see your mates, okay,
- 3:34Speaker 5: the show with your best mates, and then it just
- 3:38Speaker 5: brings you right out of that funk, you know, and
- 3:40Speaker 5: now I'm feeling great.
- 3:41Speaker 2: Great.
- 3:41Speaker 4: Well, now I don't feel great because you guys have responded.
- 3:44Speaker 3: I'm looking at you too, by the way, and you're
- 3:46Speaker 3: all really nicely measured up with your microphones.
- 3:49Speaker 6: There. It feels like old hoodie Jay's on a miniature seat.
- 3:54Speaker 2: Yeah, it's just a miniature human, just.
- 3:57Speaker 6: A miniature human, and your spine can not long enough?
- 4:02Speaker 6: Can we get me a cushion or something?
- 4:03Speaker 2: Couple of.
- 4:06Speaker 3: I finally enough, was in a horror of the mood
- 4:09Speaker 3: this morning too, And you know what, that's not funny
- 4:11Speaker 3: because we talked about it. We talked about the course.
- 4:17Speaker 3: We talked about it.
- 4:18Speaker 6: And I just reach we're talking about it on the show.
- 4:21Speaker 6: You funk what? So I'll tell me why.
- 4:25Speaker 3: It started off badly because my wife made me a
- 4:28Speaker 3: coffee which was but no. Today was our no sugar day,
- 4:34Speaker 3: which we'll get into.
- 4:37Speaker 6: We'll get into looking.
- 4:39Speaker 7: Forward to that the whole Big Show week days from
- 4:42Speaker 7: four on Radio Hurarchy, remember the Wary Big Show podcast.
- 4:49Speaker 8: I was in bed, nude, don't pause and look at me,
- 4:55Speaker 8: and my lovely wife brought in a coffee for me
- 4:59Speaker 8: and it's I had a sap and I was like,
- 5:01Speaker 8: oh the fuck is this ship?
- 5:03Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 5:04Speaker 6: And then she reminded me it's our no.
- 5:06Speaker 3: Sugar day, right, So I had a coffee with no
- 5:08Speaker 3: sugar and I I'm not happy about it.
- 5:11Speaker 1: My wife got some coffee that because we use the
- 5:14Speaker 1: old percolator sort of thing, the stone top. So what
- 5:17Speaker 1: you need with that, Jason, you'll know that you need
- 5:19Speaker 1: the plunge your grind. Sure, but we went with a
- 5:22Speaker 1: new brand, and I was like, you got that stuff,
- 5:24Speaker 1: did you? Because I know that it's a it's a
- 5:27Speaker 1: coarser grind, which means you need to have more of
- 5:29Speaker 1: it in there, and it's still per week. Yeah. Yeah,
- 5:31Speaker 1: it's watery. It's no good. It's no good. So anyway,
- 5:35Speaker 1: and we've all got our crosses to be, don't we.
- 5:37Speaker 1: It's weird that for both of us, it's our wives.
- 5:39Speaker 6: You know. You know.
- 5:41Speaker 3: The weird thing too, is that's this whole no sugar thing.
- 5:44Speaker 3: It was my idea because my wife said to me
- 5:47Speaker 3: the other night, she said, ah, we're gonna stop eating
- 5:50Speaker 3: so much sugar. And I said, well, I'll tell you what, darling,
- 5:52Speaker 3: why don't we have one day a week which.
- 5:54Speaker 6: Is sugar free?
- 5:55Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 5:55Speaker 6: And she went, Okay, what made.
- 5:57Speaker 2: Her say that?
- 5:57Speaker 1: Were you? He's putting something. He's been different as his
- 6:01Speaker 1: ballers and the sugar bowl.
- 6:04Speaker 6: And she agreed, have you?
- 6:07Speaker 3: And And funnily enough, I thought it was going to
- 6:09Speaker 3: impact her more harshly, but it's actually Yeah, so.
- 6:14Speaker 4: Jason, when you have a coffee, how many teaspoons of
- 6:16Speaker 4: sugar do.
- 6:16Speaker 2: You do to? Right?
- 6:17Speaker 1: That's disgraceful, you know that, because milk makes it sweet. Anyway,
- 6:21Speaker 1: it does show I agree with you. I agree with you, Jason,
- 6:25Speaker 1: but I think at the moments because I'm off the booze.
- 6:28Speaker 1: I've been off the boots for about three minutes. Yeah,
- 6:31Speaker 1: well since Sunday, So your sugar. So I am craving
- 6:35Speaker 1: sugar at the moment. So we've been hooking into the
- 6:37Speaker 1: old have been sitting in the oldness. Well we've gone
- 6:38Speaker 1: turn about to be fair, that's right, because.
- 6:40Speaker 4: Your margarita is that you love those margaritas.
- 6:42Speaker 2: And things and they can.
- 6:43Speaker 4: Yeah, so it's quite sugary stea well.
- 6:45Speaker 1: Person general is sugary wine. And so you fight. You're
- 6:49Speaker 1: looking for that sugar somewhere else. So we've been on
- 6:52Speaker 1: the old what do we have a couple of ice
- 6:53Speaker 1: creams down because we're about fifteen meters away from the
- 6:56Speaker 1: from the corner shop, which is a shocking selection. Likewise,
- 7:00Speaker 1: were straight down to that bastard. But yeah, it's not good.
- 7:03Speaker 1: Gotta gotta get gotta get off there or get back
- 7:05Speaker 1: on the darts of the purse.
- 7:06Speaker 3: Well, I told you, yeah, I told you ages ago actually,
- 7:09Speaker 3: and and it's true and rehabs and stuff. The sugar
- 7:13Speaker 3: bowls are always empty, right because people just hoe into
- 7:16Speaker 3: the ship's craving sugar.
- 7:18Speaker 2: But I feel good for being off it, though I wasn't.
- 7:20Speaker 3: Happy about not having a coffee, but I'm sugar in
- 7:23Speaker 3: my coffee.
- 7:23Speaker 6: But you know, I'll live. Will just another fucking thing
- 7:26Speaker 6: I'm giving up.
- 7:27Speaker 4: Why why are you giving it up?
- 7:29Speaker 3: Because well, have you given up hope yet? Man, you
- 7:32Speaker 3: should give up nearly. I've given up hope. But we'll
- 7:34Speaker 3: talk about this on the show, you know. I mean,
- 7:36Speaker 3: I've got to find what the fucking pugs is giving
- 7:38Speaker 3: me chewed in the distance. Here we got classic mogi
- 7:46Speaker 3: with a massive tyrannosaur a steak.
- 7:50Speaker 6: It is, it's just ridiculous.
- 7:52Speaker 2: Well, I don't make it.
- 7:53Speaker 1: All I see is as words on a menu and
- 7:57Speaker 1: then I order it and then I eat all of it.
- 8:02Speaker 3: That was all right, but you know it's certainly that
- 8:04Speaker 3: part of my life now where it's like no booze,
- 8:08Speaker 3: no Siggies, no sugar, no tell you what I'm sparked
- 8:13Speaker 3: up on that front.
- 8:16Speaker 4: You said last night was five weeks.
- 8:18Speaker 2: They call you. Your nickname is Captain Jacks.
- 8:25Speaker 6: No, No, I'm doing okay in that front, easy, because.
- 8:27Speaker 5: The issue that you have is you seem to give
- 8:29Speaker 5: up everything fun and not replace it with anything else
- 8:32Speaker 5: that is Actually.
- 8:33Speaker 1: There's nothing else that is fun compared to smoking dabts
- 8:35Speaker 1: and drinking purse.
- 8:37Speaker 6: Thank you.
- 8:37Speaker 4: But now sugar as well.
- 8:39Speaker 6: Just for a day, one day a week.
- 8:41Speaker 2: And that's quite good.
- 8:42Speaker 6: One day a week.
- 8:44Speaker 2: What would you replace it with? Jack it?
- 8:47Speaker 6: Yeah, well this is.
- 8:48Speaker 3: The thing because there's with no dirries, no booze, and
- 8:51Speaker 3: no sugar for a day. I have been pumping my
- 8:53Speaker 3: tool all day because I mean, what else you're supposed
- 8:57Speaker 3: to do?
- 8:57Speaker 2: We can just crank the whole.
- 8:59Speaker 3: I've just been masturbating vigorously, even when I was at work.
- 9:03Speaker 3: I just went into the bar toilets before and beat off.
- 9:08Speaker 2: No cut that one off.
- 9:15Speaker 4: Off today, just that little I will say. Listen to
- 9:21Speaker 4: the podcast. It's really great.
- 9:23Speaker 2: That's got to be close to time, doesn't it.
- 9:24Speaker 5: We've done it, I think, so, thank you very much
- 9:27Speaker 5: for listening.
- 9:28Speaker 1: Can I just say that it's weird here becauseless bar,
- 9:31Speaker 1: there's a thousand TV screens and you can't watch TV one,
- 9:36Speaker 1: a free broadcast, so they don't have TV one.
- 9:39Speaker 2: That's interesting.
- 9:39Speaker 6: There's weird.
- 9:40Speaker 1: The cricket's on one now on TV one because it's domestic.
- 9:43Speaker 1: It's a New Zealand.
- 9:44Speaker 6: Yeah, okay, so.
- 9:45Speaker 1: Anybody can watch it. Jason, you can watch it. You've
- 9:47Speaker 1: got TV one at home.
- 9:48Speaker 6: You never really watched TV one anymore.
- 9:50Speaker 2: Well, you watch it on the apps.
- 9:53Speaker 4: Me as a guy who only has it on TV
- 9:54Speaker 4: one and ships it off.
- 9:56Speaker 1: It doesn't you haven't got any of the other channels
- 9:58Speaker 1: tuned in. Yeah, that'll be my next bunny. This is
- 10:00Speaker 1: going to be my next thing.
- 10:01Speaker 3: Let's get rid of let's get rid of Neon, Netflix
- 10:05Speaker 3: and all of that ship and just have terrestrial TV.
- 10:08Speaker 4: That is something you do to yourself.
- 10:09Speaker 3: And then I'd be like, say, oh, here we go.
- 10:12Speaker 3: Father just turned out with his young fellow sunday or
- 10:16Speaker 3: and good stuff.
- 10:18Speaker 6: And when I keep my chicken taco.
- 10:20Speaker 5: Hey, listen to Hucky Big Show four or seven Radio Hurdarchy.
- 10:23Speaker 4: It's good eating. Thank you,
