- 0:00SPEAKER_00: Welcome back, everyone, to another episode of Obnoxiously Pleasant.
- 0:03SPEAKER_00: In case you didn't know, I'm Henan.
- 0:05SPEAKER_00: And I'm Lena.
- 0:05SPEAKER_00: We're doing that again.
- 0:06SPEAKER_00: I'm not liking it.
- 0:10SPEAKER_01: I guess whatever.
- 0:11SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 0:12SPEAKER_01: What are we talking about today?
- 0:13SPEAKER_01: Um, deal breakers in a relationship.
- 0:16SPEAKER_01: So many.
- 0:16SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 0:17SPEAKER_00: So many deal breakers.
- 0:18unknown: Okay.
- 0:20SPEAKER_00: I was like, oh my god, you're really excited about this topic today.
- 0:24SPEAKER_00: Hanan.
- 0:25SPEAKER_00: I just feel like sometimes people don't think about, you know, how difficult they can be as humans.
- 0:32SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 0:32SPEAKER_00: And how much that could ruin the relationship with somebody.
- 0:34SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 0:35SPEAKER_00: And when we mean relationships, we don't mean marriages, just marriages.
- 0:38SPEAKER_00: We mean marriages.
- 0:38SPEAKER_00: We mean friendships.
- 0:39SPEAKER_00: We mean partnerships.
- 0:41SPEAKER_00: Things that yeah.
- 0:43SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 0:43SPEAKER_01: So I was reading an article, and some people listed some things, and one of them was mansplaining.
- 0:49SPEAKER_00: That is very specific, but yes, that's annoying.
- 0:51SPEAKER_00: That's an inner relationship.
- 0:52SPEAKER_00: Like just yes.
- 0:53SPEAKER_00: And it's it's mansplaining, it's it's spleening in general.
- 0:56SPEAKER_00: In general.
- 0:57SPEAKER_00: Man, woman, child, uh everybody.
- 1:00SPEAKER_00: Everybody, everybody.
- 1:01SPEAKER_00: Just don't do that.
- 1:01SPEAKER_00: Just don't do that.
- 1:02SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:03SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 1:03SPEAKER_01: We're we're in agreement on that one.
- 1:05SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 1:05SPEAKER_01: People who can't apologize or say sorry.
- 1:08SPEAKER_00: That is uh okay.
- 1:10SPEAKER_00: So when you say apologize, let's let's clarify something.
- 1:13SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 1:13SPEAKER_00: There's an apology, and and I would love to hear from you folks what you think.
- 1:18SPEAKER_00: Does an apology do you have to hear the words I'm sorry?
- 1:22SPEAKER_00: Okay, okay.
- 1:23SPEAKER_01: An apology.
- 1:24SPEAKER_01: But what if it's another half-assed apology?
- 1:26SPEAKER_01: Like with someone, oh, I'm sorry, or like in a bitchy tone.
- 1:29SPEAKER_00: That's what I mean.
- 1:30SPEAKER_00: Like, what does apology actually mean?
- 1:32SPEAKER_01: Like sincere.
- 1:32SPEAKER_01: You have to look sincere.
- 1:33SPEAKER_00: 100%.
- 1:34SPEAKER_01: You but who that is my word for today.
- 1:36SPEAKER_00: 100%.
- 1:36SPEAKER_01: Yeah, okay.
- 1:37SPEAKER_01: So you have to be sincere.
- 1:38SPEAKER_01: It can't be just like a half-assed apology.
- 1:40SPEAKER_01: I agree.
- 1:41SPEAKER_01: Either.
- 1:41SPEAKER_01: You know, and you have to know saying sorry, but not knowing why you're saying sorry is also not good.
- 1:47SPEAKER_00: It's it's horrible, and honestly, it's a waste of everybody's time.
- 1:49SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 1:50SPEAKER_01: Third one.
- 1:52SPEAKER_01: The way a person chews or eats is a deal breaker.
- 1:56SPEAKER_01: Now, I this for me is major.
- 2:00SPEAKER_01: Like if you 100% agree.
- 2:01SPEAKER_01: Uh what is it called?
- 2:02SPEAKER_01: Misophonia?
- 2:03SPEAKER_00: Misophonia, yeah.
- 2:04SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I I think I have that.
- 2:06SPEAKER_01: Because sometimes when my husband is sick and he coughs, I'm just like, do you have to do that here?
- 2:10SPEAKER_01: Like, I know it's me.
- 2:11SPEAKER_00: Honestly, for me, it's not with all sounds.
- 2:13SPEAKER_00: I think it's just there's very specific sounds.
- 2:15SPEAKER_00: So it's like chewing with your mouth open drives me crazy.
- 2:18SPEAKER_00: I think the other thing that drives me crazy is when somebody has like their like backed up in their sinus area.
- 2:24SPEAKER_00: That annoys you?
- 2:25SPEAKER_00: No, no, no, no.
- 2:25SPEAKER_00: No, and they're trying to clear it out, but like in the city.
- 2:28SPEAKER_00: Oh, trying to clean it.
- 2:28SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 2:31SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that's disgusting.
- 2:32SPEAKER_01: Stop.
- 2:33SPEAKER_01: You just did that to people.
- 2:34SPEAKER_01: You're so messed up.
- 2:38SPEAKER_01: I'm so sorry.
- 2:39SPEAKER_01: I'm sorry, guys.
- 2:40SPEAKER_01: It's okay.
- 2:40SPEAKER_01: Yeah, but she was just explaining.
- 2:41SPEAKER_00: Yeah, but I I I can't stand that.
- 2:43SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I can't.
- 2:44SPEAKER_01: Like, there's certain sounds, like, even with my son when he's eating, I'm just like, close your mouth.
- 2:48SPEAKER_01: Like, I will stop what I'm doing.
- 2:50SPEAKER_01: I'm just like, it's disgusting.
- 2:52SPEAKER_01: I say that all the time.
- 2:53SPEAKER_01: You know, you gotta teach these damn kids not to make weird noises.
- 2:57SPEAKER_00: Yeah, but it's not it.
- 2:58SPEAKER_00: Look, I get it.
- 2:59SPEAKER_00: Like sometimes people need like sometimes people have to make those noises when they eat.
- 3:03SPEAKER_00: Like sometimes somebody has like a condition.
- 3:05SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 3:05SPEAKER_00: What condition?
- 3:06SPEAKER_00: No, no, no, no.
- 3:07SPEAKER_00: No, like there are and sometimes people can't help it.
- 3:10SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 3:11SPEAKER_01: I guess.
- 3:11SPEAKER_01: I mean, like, if you're if you have a condition that's different, but like if you don't have a condition, then chew with your mouth closed.
- 3:16SPEAKER_00: No, no, like uh for and don't cough around.
- 3:18SPEAKER_00: And it's funny because it's almost like it's almost like um like my brain is conditioned.
- 3:23SPEAKER_00: Like if I see somebody who like chews with their mouth open because they have to chew with their mouth open because they don't, you know, that's like you took it there.
- 3:31SPEAKER_00: That's not that's not what we're talking about.
- 3:33SPEAKER_00: But what I'm saying is, like, you know, it's weird because my brain doesn't get upset the way it gets upset, like if one of my kids is chewing with their mouth open.
- 3:40SPEAKER_00: Does that make sense?
- 3:41SPEAKER_01: No, I understand.
- 3:41SPEAKER_01: But I mean, like, if they if they have a condition that's different, obviously, whatever.
- 3:45SPEAKER_01: I look noises bother me.
- 3:47SPEAKER_01: Yeah, oh my god.
- 3:48SPEAKER_01: Speaking of noises, there are people in the office who make that like chewing noise plus with the like breathing as they're chewing, and I want to shoot myself in the head.
- 4:00SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that's when you're like time.
- 4:04SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I believe you.
- 4:05SPEAKER_01: I'm like, I cannot handle it.
- 4:06SPEAKER_01: Or humming.
- 4:07SPEAKER_01: Oh my god, don't hum.
- 4:08SPEAKER_01: That's a deal breaker.
- 4:09SPEAKER_01: So I guess would we consider that a relationship, I guess, because your coworkers I don't know, just don't hum around me because it annoys the crap out of me.
- 4:15SPEAKER_01: So, like, no, no, no, no, please stop.
- 4:19SPEAKER_01: I don't know, I'm not the only one who feels that way, by the way.
- 4:22SPEAKER_01: Hanan, I'll kill you.
- 4:24SPEAKER_00: Hanan, stop.
- 4:25SPEAKER_01: That was a joke, by the way.
- 4:26SPEAKER_01: I'm not gonna kill her.
- 4:28SPEAKER_00: She needs me, otherwise, there's no half of this possible.
- 4:31SPEAKER_01: Okay, okay.
- 4:31SPEAKER_01: Treating people horribly that's unacceptable.
- 4:35SPEAKER_00: Awful, yeah.
- 4:36SPEAKER_01: Especially like when you're at a restaurant and like the person you're on a date with or whatever is like being.
- 4:40SPEAKER_00: I love how she goes, a person you're on a date with, because her and I go on dates all the time.
- 4:44SPEAKER_01: I mean, thank God we're not dating.
- 4:46SPEAKER_01: Girl, because I would just not be in that in that in that.
- 4:48SPEAKER_01: I just wouldn't.
- 4:49SPEAKER_01: Let's just pause here for a moment.
- 4:51SPEAKER_01: Let's just pause here for a moment.
- 4:52SPEAKER_00: Okay, what?
- 4:53SPEAKER_00: For all our single people out there, my heart is with you.
- 4:59SPEAKER_00: I hear some stories from friends.
- 5:01SPEAKER_00: I know about it.
- 5:01SPEAKER_00: I just same here.
- 5:03SPEAKER_00: I just had to pause and say, We love you.
- 5:05SPEAKER_01: Yeah, we do.
- 5:06SPEAKER_01: We are thinking of you.
- 5:07SPEAKER_01: You can do this.
- 5:08SPEAKER_01: I think I think Annie, God forbid, if like if I was ever single, not that it like you know what I mean.
- 5:14SPEAKER_01: We're not getting married.
- 5:15SPEAKER_01: We're gonna live with each other.
- 5:16SPEAKER_01: You're just not gonna go through this whole dating thing.
- 5:17SPEAKER_01: Yeah, no, her and I are gonna live with each other.
- 5:18SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah, that's it.
- 5:19SPEAKER_01: Yeah, she's gonna cook and I'm gonna work.
- 5:21SPEAKER_01: Yeah, kid is it is it is too much.
- 5:23SPEAKER_01: If I just give you a job, yeah, but like if if you're if you're like if you're at a restaurant and this person you're on a date with is like treating the staff trash.
- 5:31SPEAKER_01: Oh, it's done.
- 5:31SPEAKER_01: Or if they leave a bad tip.
- 5:33SPEAKER_00: I don't care if we're on a date.
- 5:34SPEAKER_01: If you leave a bad tip, you're done.
- 5:36SPEAKER_01: I'm over.
- 5:36SPEAKER_01: You're out of my life.
- 5:37SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah, it doesn't have to be a date.
- 5:38SPEAKER_01: It can be just your friend.
- 5:39SPEAKER_01: Yeah, but don't be cheap either.
- 5:41SPEAKER_01: Um, people who don't wash their hands.
- 5:43SPEAKER_00: That's nasty.
- 5:44SPEAKER_00: It is nasty.
- 5:45SPEAKER_00: That is nasty.
- 5:46SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 5:46SPEAKER_00: I mean, honestly, if 2020 taught us anything, it's wash taught America how to wash our hands.
- 5:51SPEAKER_00: And wash your ass.
- 5:52SPEAKER_00: So but wash your hands more importantly.
- 5:54SPEAKER_00: So that's the other thing, by the way.
- 5:55SPEAKER_00: Like for me, washing your hands and your butt, that's like but you gotta wash your butt first and then your hands.
- 6:01SPEAKER_00: They go hand in hand.
- 6:02SPEAKER_00: And and that is a huge thing for me.
- 6:05SPEAKER_00: Like this, this, this bidet or shatafa, as we say, that for me is just as important as washing your hands.
- 6:12SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 6:12SPEAKER_00: How are you gonna have clean hands and a crusty butt?
- 6:14SPEAKER_00: Exactly.
- 6:14SPEAKER_01: Uh next uh tantrums or uh anger issues.
- 6:19SPEAKER_01: If you're two, great.
- 6:20SPEAKER_01: Yeah, but not if you're a grown ass.
- 6:22SPEAKER_01: Yeah, if you're a woman.
- 6:23SPEAKER_01: If you're a grown-ass adult, yeah, okay, umacceptable.
- 6:27SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you can't be doing that shit.
- 6:29SPEAKER_01: That's that's definitely a deal breaker.
- 6:32SPEAKER_01: Um the need to always be right.
- 6:35SPEAKER_00: I have that problem.
- 6:36SPEAKER_01: You you do?
- 6:37SPEAKER_00: I have that problem.
- 6:38SPEAKER_01: Can you elaborate, please?
- 6:39SPEAKER_01: I have that problem.
- 6:41SPEAKER_00: Everyone, my name is Hanan, and I have a problem where I feel the need to always be right.
- 6:46SPEAKER_00: And if I feel like the other person is trying to explain to me how I'm wrong, I get even more awful about the fact that I'm right.
- 6:54SPEAKER_01: But see, you feel the need to be right, right?
- 6:57SPEAKER_01: I already know I'm right.
- 6:58SPEAKER_00: No, but see, that's the same thing, except I admit my faults.
- 7:03SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 7:03SPEAKER_00: I I look, it's a horrible like characteristic.
- 7:06SPEAKER_00: I'm not saying I'm amazing.
- 7:07SPEAKER_00: It is a horrible characteristic.
- 7:08SPEAKER_00: But what if you are always right?
- 7:10SPEAKER_00: You're not always right.
- 7:11SPEAKER_00: I'm always right.
- 7:12SPEAKER_00: What are you?
- 7:12SPEAKER_00: Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
- 7:14SPEAKER_00: Okay, I'm not, you know, I'm joking about it.
- 7:16SPEAKER_00: No, but honestly, like that, I will I always say like that is, and I have a hard time with it, but that is one of my biggest flaws.
- 7:24SPEAKER_01: Okay, I mean, at least, at least you're you're you're admitting it.
- 7:27SPEAKER_01: Okay, here's the here's a major one, all jokes aside.
- 7:30SPEAKER_01: A deal breaker for me is if the person doesn't get along with my friends.
- 7:34SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 7:35SPEAKER_00: Is it a deal breaker?
- 7:36SPEAKER_00: Well, I mean, it depends on the depends.
- 7:38SPEAKER_00: It depends on the friend and it depends on the person.
- 7:40SPEAKER_00: But I I honestly, for me, that's not really a deal breaker because sometimes people just like don't go together.
- 7:44SPEAKER_00: Yeah, but what if that person what if you're that person's like, oh, I don't want you hanging out?
- 7:47SPEAKER_01: Like, that's a deal breaker.
- 7:48SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 7:48SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you can't.
- 7:49SPEAKER_00: Because you don't like them doesn't mean that I can't like them.
- 7:51SPEAKER_00: Exactly.
- 7:51SPEAKER_00: So let's clarify because that's why I asked you that question.
- 7:54SPEAKER_00: But look, I'm very um, I always say this, like I live my life in circles.
- 7:58SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 7:58SPEAKER_00: Sometimes my circles, I bring them together, sometimes they never overlap.
- 8:02SPEAKER_00: Exactly.
- 8:03SPEAKER_01: There are some circles that will never overlap.
- 8:05SPEAKER_01: Exactly.
- 8:05SPEAKER_01: And I'm perfectly fine with you.
- 8:07SPEAKER_00: Exactly.
- 8:07SPEAKER_00: But the the the key to that is I can get along with different kinds of people, and they get along with me, and sometimes those people get along with each other, and sometimes they don't.
- 8:17SPEAKER_00: And it is totally unholy acceptable for people just because like I'm with somebody that may not like these three people, that doesn't mean that they have to hang out with them.
- 8:27SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 8:28SPEAKER_00: But the it does get really weird, and I kind of draw the line of somebody telling me, like, you don't hang out with these people, unless like they know something that I don't know or they see something that I may not see.
- 8:38SPEAKER_00: As I got, you know, like as I've I got older, I'm like sometimes people's perspective into another person, like it makes me pause now.
- 8:45SPEAKER_00: Before I was like, no, yeah, awesome.
- 8:47SPEAKER_00: You can't tell me who to hang out with or who to spend time with.
- 8:50SPEAKER_00: But I think like after getting burned in life by people, you're like, okay, maybe that person sees something that I don't, a red flag that's not like obvious to me, but I digress.
- 8:59SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 9:00SPEAKER_00: Uh being condescending.
- 9:02SPEAKER_00: That is so rude.
- 9:03SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 9:04SPEAKER_00: It is so rude, and it's rude when you do it to adults, to kids, to people you know, people you don't know.
- 9:08SPEAKER_00: Don't be condescending.
- 9:09SPEAKER_00: That is just not nice.
- 9:10SPEAKER_01: Uh, making the person feel that their feelings are invalid or that they're like overreacting.
- 9:16SPEAKER_01: That's just the narcissist.
- 9:17SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 9:18SPEAKER_01: I mean, that's just yeah.
- 9:20SPEAKER_01: That is like the worst trait.
- 9:21SPEAKER_01: That that would create because you know, I had a I had a um an experience like that a couple weeks ago at work with someone, and I was going there to address an issue with this person.
- 9:33SPEAKER_01: And you know me, I'm very like direct.
- 9:35SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 9:36SPEAKER_01: Um, and I'm like, listen.
- 9:37SPEAKER_01: To a fault.
- 9:38SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 9:38SPEAKER_01: So I was like, listen, dude, you keep doing this and it's not cool.
- 9:41SPEAKER_01: Like, you know, you're like, it's basically my work that you're taking credit for.
- 9:45SPEAKER_00: And that person was like, I don't know what you're talking about, eat shit.
- 9:47SPEAKER_01: And this person might watch.
- 9:48SPEAKER_01: I mean, but whatever.
- 9:50SPEAKER_01: Uh and and the and I wasn't going there to be rude or disrespectful.
- 9:55SPEAKER_01: I mean, I wasn't disrespectful, and I wasn't trying to be like aggressive.
- 9:59SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 9:59SPEAKER_01: But the way the person responded to me, the responses just kind of like, I was here and I I ended up here.
- 10:06SPEAKER_01: And and I was like, no, because the way that person responded to me was invalidating.
- 10:11SPEAKER_01: And isn't it crazy?
- 10:12SPEAKER_01: Because you're like, I wasn't going there to be all that.
- 10:14SPEAKER_01: No, I wasn't.
- 10:15SPEAKER_01: And I'm like, like the fact that this person, the way they responded to me, instead of taking it, I was like, I was very nice, I was very respectful.
- 10:21SPEAKER_01: But then the way they responded to me, they did two things.
- 10:24SPEAKER_01: They invalidated everything that denied, outright denied what I was saying, even though I have email proof.
- 10:29SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 10:30SPEAKER_01: And the other thing is they made me feel like I'm out of my mind and I'm crazy.
- 10:33SPEAKER_01: When you do that, you will see the crazy.
- 10:35SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 10:36SPEAKER_01: No, I mean, for me, it's not.
- 10:37SPEAKER_01: I just, I could, I couldn't, I couldn't deal with that.
- 10:39SPEAKER_01: And then the way I reacted to this person is because this person wasn't validating my feelings and what I was saying.
- 10:45SPEAKER_01: And I wasn't having that.
- 10:47SPEAKER_01: I'm like, nope.
- 10:48SPEAKER_00: I honestly, my issue isn't even the so much, it's when you invalidate someone's feelings, like when you tell someone, oh, what you're saying doesn't matter, it becomes a whole other problem because you're basically it's not even that they have to say it that way.
- 11:02SPEAKER_00: It's when you come to somebody with a problem and you tell them, I have this issue, and they tell you this issue doesn't exist.
- 11:08SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it's or you're overreacting.
- 11:10SPEAKER_00: Yeah, or all you're that to me is like probably one of the most hurtful things you can do to somebody else.
- 11:16SPEAKER_00: Um, because it's not just invalidating, it's basically making them think that like they're insane.
- 11:21SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and you're you're belittling the situation or the person.
- 11:24SPEAKER_01: And don't do that.
- 11:25SPEAKER_01: Like that will that will piss me off.
- 11:27SPEAKER_01: You will see, I don't know, because but it's just it takes me to a place that I didn't want to go.
- 11:32SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 11:33SPEAKER_00: Well, I think for you, but I also think like it depends on the relationship.
- 11:36SPEAKER_00: Like for you, this is work.
- 11:37SPEAKER_00: So you can get angry.
- 11:38SPEAKER_00: It's really hard when people do this in friendships and people do this in the world.
- 11:41SPEAKER_00: Yeah, or for people you love, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 11:42SPEAKER_00: Definitely, I don't care.
- 11:44SPEAKER_00: Partnerships.
- 11:44SPEAKER_00: It's really hard when it's somebody you love, like it is a personal, not a professional relationship, because I feel like it destroys so much trust.
- 11:51SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 11:51SPEAKER_00: When somebody, when you're going to somebody and you're already vulnerable because you're talking about something that's bothering you, yeah.
- 11:57SPEAKER_00: And their response is, you're overreacting, or I don't know what you're talking about.
- 12:01SPEAKER_00: This doesn't exist.
- 12:02SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 12:03SPEAKER_00: That makes the person that is sharing this thing that is very important for them all of a sudden feel like you're freaking, you're, you're, you're violated them.
- 12:11SPEAKER_00: Like, what the heck?
- 12:12SPEAKER_00: I'm coming to talk to you about something and you're telling me it doesn't even exist.
- 12:14SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 12:14SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 12:15SPEAKER_01: So these are the more serious ones, but also there's one, and I think this is serious.
- 12:19SPEAKER_01: Uh, thinking housework is woman's work.
- 12:21SPEAKER_00: That's just rude.
- 12:22SPEAKER_01: That is a deal breaker.
- 12:23SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 12:24SPEAKER_01: That is definitely a deal breaker.
- 12:25SPEAKER_01: You gotta help out.
- 12:26SPEAKER_01: In a relationship, yeah.
- 12:27SPEAKER_00: Like it's not, it's not the housework is the work of the people who live in the house.
- 12:30SPEAKER_01: Absolutely.
- 12:30SPEAKER_01: Everyone should chip in.
- 12:31SPEAKER_01: Yep.
- 12:32SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 12:32SPEAKER_01: So these are a little bit more fun.
- 12:33SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 12:34SPEAKER_01: Uh, someone says, not believing in diam, not believing dinosaurs are real.
- 12:39SPEAKER_01: I think that's a legitimate deal breaker.
- 12:42SPEAKER_01: I just be like, have you looked?
- 12:44SPEAKER_00: Have you read a history book?
- 12:45SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I know, right?
- 12:46SPEAKER_00: Um, so do you is that a deal breaker for you?
- 12:49SPEAKER_00: I I would have to have a lot of that conversation.
- 12:50SPEAKER_00: Like, I it's not a deal breaker, and I'll tell you why.
- 12:53SPEAKER_00: Because like I'm gonna need to really get to know this person to figure out where the heck they're coming from.
- 12:57SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 12:57SPEAKER_01: Uh, people who have loud private speaker phone conversations in public places.
- 13:03SPEAKER_01: I think I would be the person I would be the person doing.
- 13:07SPEAKER_01: Did you not hear what she said to her the other day when blah blah blah blah blah?
- 13:09SPEAKER_01: I'm like, what's wrong with that?
- 13:11SPEAKER_01: Like, like it's not that big of a deal.
- 13:12SPEAKER_01: Come on, that's not a deal.
- 13:13SPEAKER_01: Thank you for it.
- 13:14SPEAKER_01: It's so annoying.
- 13:15SPEAKER_01: It's not that it's not that big.
- 13:17SPEAKER_01: Come on.
- 13:17SPEAKER_00: It's annoying.
- 13:18SPEAKER_01: So when you go to the bathroom, do you take the phone with you?
- 13:20SPEAKER_01: That's just to give me company.
- 13:22SPEAKER_01: Okay, but look, what's the difference in the public bathroom?
- 13:24SPEAKER_01: Do you talk on the phone in a public bathroom?
- 13:25SPEAKER_00: No, absolutely not.
- 13:26SPEAKER_01: I don't think it's a big deal.
- 13:28SPEAKER_01: Whatever.
- 13:28SPEAKER_01: Okay, that's just me personally.
- 13:30SPEAKER_01: Um, being obsessed with social media or needing to document everything all the time and project a perfect version of their life.
- 13:38SPEAKER_01: Is that a deal breaker?
- 13:39SPEAKER_01: I feel attacked.
- 13:42SPEAKER_01: I'm not, this isn't about you.
- 13:43SPEAKER_00: I feel attacked right now in this moment.
- 13:46SPEAKER_01: I feel it a deal breaker for you.
- 13:48SPEAKER_01: No, why?
- 13:48SPEAKER_00: Yeah, like social media, like, dude, come on, get over it.
- 13:51SPEAKER_00: I mean, I post all the time.
- 13:52SPEAKER_00: I feel very attacked.
- 13:53SPEAKER_00: I wasn't trying to attack you.
- 13:54SPEAKER_00: But I also feel seen that you said it's okay.
- 13:57SPEAKER_00: It is okay.
- 13:57SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 13:58SPEAKER_01: Absolutely.
- 13:58SPEAKER_01: All right.
- 13:59SPEAKER_01: Do you?
- 14:00SPEAKER_01: Um, let's see here.
- 14:02SPEAKER_01: Someone who litters.
- 14:03SPEAKER_01: That's just so stupid.
- 14:04SPEAKER_01: There's trash cans everywhere.
- 14:05SPEAKER_01: Like, that's just a deal breaker.
- 14:07SPEAKER_01: Yes, yes, I think so.
- 14:08SPEAKER_01: Yes, it is.
- 14:09SPEAKER_01: Because you're a mafin.
- 14:10SPEAKER_00: You know what?
- 14:10SPEAKER_00: Because if you're doing this translate mafin, please.
- 14:13SPEAKER_00: Dirty.
- 14:13SPEAKER_00: Yeah, gross.
- 14:14SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 14:15SPEAKER_00: Like, there's no excuse.
- 14:16SPEAKER_00: Especially like my Palestinian peeps, it's mhamj.
- 14:23SPEAKER_01: Um, bad hygiene.
- 14:25SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it's just oh yeah.
- 14:27SPEAKER_00: Bad hygiene.
- 14:28SPEAKER_00: I think you're talking about mhmaj.
- 14:29SPEAKER_00: No, no, no, I'm saying bad hygiene.
- 14:31SPEAKER_00: That's bad hygiene is just that is a deal breaker in all sense.
- 14:36SPEAKER_00: Absolutely.
- 14:36SPEAKER_00: Deal breakers, yeah.
- 14:37SPEAKER_00: Bad breath, yeah.
- 14:38SPEAKER_00: Bad breath, bad onbic.
- 14:40SPEAKER_01: Wash your ass again.
- 14:41SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah.
- 14:42SPEAKER_01: No Christy Butts here.
- 14:43SPEAKER_01: Uh, what about a COVID denier or an anti-vaxxer?
- 14:48SPEAKER_01: I think it really depends on the person.
- 14:50SPEAKER_01: You know, like if you're into that.
- 14:52SPEAKER_01: Can we not talk about this one?
- 14:53SPEAKER_01: No, no, but but I'm saying it makes me heartburn.
- 14:56SPEAKER_01: No, no, no.
- 14:57SPEAKER_01: But what I'm saying is if you're already from that perspective, if that's what you feel, you should stick with the people who feel the same.
- 15:03SPEAKER_00: Honestly, though, no, it makes me like, okay, so first of all, before you guys, uh, you know, people are like, what are you?
- 15:08SPEAKER_00: Are you a COVID vaxxer?
- 15:09SPEAKER_00: You know, COVID denier.
- 15:10SPEAKER_00: I'm not a COVID denier, I'm not an anti-vaxxer.
- 15:13SPEAKER_00: I, however, feel like that issue drove such a deep wedge between people in this country and between a lot of it.
- 15:23SPEAKER_00: It's just I I hate talking about this.
- 15:25SPEAKER_01: Let's just that's fine.
- 15:27SPEAKER_01: Uh what about people who get afraid or scared of the person's family?
- 15:35SPEAKER_01: Like, oh my god, you have a big family.
- 15:36SPEAKER_01: Like, I can't do that.
- 15:37SPEAKER_01: Like, why why why is that an issue?
- 15:39SPEAKER_00: Maybe they have like social anxiety.
- 15:41SPEAKER_00: So that's not a deal breaker?
- 15:43SPEAKER_00: No, I I think maybe it depends on like the way they were raised.
- 15:46SPEAKER_00: Are they uncomfortable?
- 15:47SPEAKER_00: Like, they're intimidated by the size of the family.
- 15:49SPEAKER_01: Like, you look as Arabs, we usually have big family.
- 15:51SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 15:51SPEAKER_01: Again, someone is like intimidated by the size of the family.
- 15:54SPEAKER_00: Like, I think that intimidation comes from a place of vulnerability, so you have to figure out like why they're intimidated.
- 15:58SPEAKER_01: Yeah, then you're gonna sit there and listen and deal with his issues or her issues.
- 16:02SPEAKER_00: Life is too short.
- 16:04SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I should have been a therapist.
- 16:05SPEAKER_01: You probably should have.
- 16:07SPEAKER_00: I missed my calling.
- 16:08SPEAKER_01: You did.
- 16:09SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 16:10SPEAKER_01: Uh not being a critical thinker.
- 16:14SPEAKER_01: Does that matter?
- 16:15SPEAKER_01: Is that a deal breaker?
- 16:16SPEAKER_00: I feel like we need all kinds of people to make this world run, if that makes sense.
- 16:21SPEAKER_00: It's not a deal breaker for me.
- 16:22SPEAKER_00: Because I sometimes I feel like people who are not.
- 16:24SPEAKER_00: Well, what do you mean by like somebody who's not a critical?
- 16:27SPEAKER_00: Like, are they like are they just like absurd?
- 16:30SPEAKER_01: Like, I like I love it.
- 16:34SPEAKER_01: Like you can't have a conversation, like a deep conversation with this person.
- 16:37SPEAKER_00: I need those.
- 16:37SPEAKER_00: Those are my fun time people.
- 16:38SPEAKER_00: I love those guys.
- 16:39SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 16:40SPEAKER_01: Are you okay?
- 16:40SPEAKER_01: I asked you.
- 16:41SPEAKER_01: But you would you be married to one?
- 16:42SPEAKER_01: You can't be married to one.
- 16:43SPEAKER_01: You said in a relationship, like, let's say let's say you're single and you meet some person, some guy, and they're they're not a critical thinker.
- 16:51SPEAKER_01: Like hot.
- 16:52SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 16:52SPEAKER_01: Okay, I'm good.
- 16:54SPEAKER_01: We don't have to have conversation.
- 16:56SPEAKER_01: Okay, that's fine.
- 16:57SPEAKER_01: Um, this is so I do.
- 17:00SPEAKER_01: Um what's we my husband watches, babe.
- 17:03SPEAKER_01: I'm sorry.
- 17:03SPEAKER_01: It's okay, it's fine.
- 17:04SPEAKER_01: He was saying in a hypothetical situation.
- 17:06SPEAKER_01: Anyway.
- 17:08SPEAKER_01: Uh, what's one deal breaker for you?
- 17:10SPEAKER_00: What's one deal breaker?
- 17:11SPEAKER_00: Or two, whatever.
- 17:11SPEAKER_00: Like in in what?
- 17:12SPEAKER_00: In like in a relationship.
- 17:14SPEAKER_00: Lying, lying, lying, lying is a deal breaker.
- 17:17SPEAKER_00: I can never come back from lying.
- 17:18SPEAKER_00: It destroys such an important foundation of trust between me and a friend, between me and a significant.
- 17:26SPEAKER_00: Well, it's just lying.
- 17:27SPEAKER_01: I have two things.
- 17:28SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 17:29SPEAKER_01: Uh being cheap.
- 17:31SPEAKER_00: Oh my god, that's my other one.
- 17:33SPEAKER_01: Yes, yes, that's my other one.
- 17:34SPEAKER_01: This is why we're friends.
- 17:36SPEAKER_01: Yes, you cannot be cheap.
- 17:37SPEAKER_01: I don't care if you're my husband, if you're my friend, if you're my family.
- 17:40SPEAKER_01: Don't be cheap.
- 17:41SPEAKER_01: That will just make me lose my mind.
- 17:43SPEAKER_01: I agree.
- 17:44SPEAKER_01: You know, uh, and the other thing, if you're not, if you if you hate on cats, if you hate on cats, it's over.
- 17:50SPEAKER_01: She is the cat lady.
- 17:51SPEAKER_01: I love I love cats.
- 17:53SPEAKER_01: So, like, you can't tell the cats really cute, though.
- 17:55SPEAKER_01: I hate cats.
- 17:56SPEAKER_01: I don't like you know what?
- 17:57SPEAKER_01: No, you just there's a problem with you.
- 17:58SPEAKER_01: So that's a red flag.
- 17:59SPEAKER_01: No, it's not just a deal breaker, it's a red flag for me.
- 18:01SPEAKER_01: So is it cat specifically or just animals?
- 18:03SPEAKER_01: I I love animals, I love dogs, but like I I have a cat.
- 18:06SPEAKER_01: But you are she Lena is a 100% a cat person.
- 18:09SPEAKER_01: Like you see an animal, they're cute, they're adorable.
- 18:11SPEAKER_01: Like, how can you say you don't like animals?
- 18:13SPEAKER_00: I know.
- 18:14SPEAKER_00: So here's the thing like I love.
- 18:16SPEAKER_00: I think animals are adorable.
- 18:17SPEAKER_00: I just don't want a pet.
- 18:18SPEAKER_00: I think that's different.
- 18:19SPEAKER_01: That's what you're not saying you have a problem with them.
- 18:21SPEAKER_00: Like you see it, you see a cute animal, you're like, oh, that's cute.
- 18:24SPEAKER_00: Even my sister, who is like deathly allergic to cats, yeah, like she automatically, like when we when we go, like we go to my sister-in-law's house and she has three cats and they're adorable.
- 18:34SPEAKER_00: My sister has no problem with the cats, but she just automatically, like, she's not.
- 18:37SPEAKER_00: But see, that's the thing, that's the exception.
- 18:39SPEAKER_01: If you're allergic and you say I'm allergic, that's fine.
- 18:41SPEAKER_01: I get that, obviously.
- 18:42SPEAKER_01: But like, don't you like cats walk around to her and she's just like she my sister will just take allergy medicine and nope for the pets.
- 18:48SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah, no, because uh for me, like that says a lot.
- 18:51SPEAKER_01: I I feel like that's a good judge of character.
- 18:53SPEAKER_00: She also has a dog, so she loves animals.
- 18:55SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I don't have a dog, her sister has a dog.
- 18:57SPEAKER_01: My sister has a dog, yeah.
- 18:58SPEAKER_00: Um, but I don't have any pets, guys, because pets are a huge responsibility and I'm not ready for that.
- 19:02SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 19:02SPEAKER_01: Henan just can barely, you know.
- 19:04SPEAKER_01: I'm barely keeping it together here, guys.
- 19:06SPEAKER_01: No, no, but just don't mess with the cats.
- 19:08SPEAKER_01: Like, I just can't.
- 19:09SPEAKER_00: Cats are cute.
- 19:10SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I I can't.
- 19:10SPEAKER_01: Like, if you say you don't like cats, it's over for me.
- 19:13SPEAKER_00: What if somebody had a pet like hamster?
- 19:16SPEAKER_00: How are you with hamsters?
- 19:17SPEAKER_01: I don't care.
- 19:18SPEAKER_01: Fine, it's a pet.
- 19:18SPEAKER_01: Good for you.
- 19:19SPEAKER_01: Like, I'm okay.
- 19:20SPEAKER_01: Like, just be nice.
- 19:21SPEAKER_01: As long as you're not like, you know, I'm not anti anything, any pets.
- 19:26SPEAKER_01: No, I like there, I love there's adorable dogs.
- 19:28SPEAKER_01: I love dogs.
- 19:29SPEAKER_01: I'll pet up.
- 19:30SPEAKER_00: I'm not gonna buy your kids two geckos.
- 19:32SPEAKER_01: No.
- 19:32SPEAKER_01: Because that's my fear.
- 19:34SPEAKER_01: No, no, no, no.
- 19:35SPEAKER_01: Like someone give them to a home that is actually gonna, because there's certain things that I get closed out by, yeah, you know, but like it's not like it's gonna be in a tank, right?
- 19:44SPEAKER_01: Okay, I mean, it's not a big deal.
- 19:45SPEAKER_01: As long as it's not walking around the house.
- 19:47SPEAKER_00: What about a pet snake?
- 19:48SPEAKER_01: Hell no.
- 19:48SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that's but that's that's my fear though.
- 19:51SPEAKER_00: That's a phobia.
- 19:52SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 19:52SPEAKER_01: You know, so unless you have, I mean, but who's who has a phobia of cats?
- 19:55SPEAKER_00: You know, some people actually have a phobia of cats.
- 19:57SPEAKER_00: Okay, if you have a phobia of cats and is deathly afraid of like, and it's it is a real you see the real genuine, like okay, that's different.
- 20:06SPEAKER_00: I respect that.
- 20:07SPEAKER_00: Like we we were sitting together, and one of our friends, the cat, approached her or was walking.
- 20:12SPEAKER_00: Lena, I've never seen a human like jump in the air that high that quick.
- 20:17SPEAKER_01: Okay, if you have a fear of it, maybe that's I'll give you a pass.
- 20:20SPEAKER_01: And I think just don't don't be mean about it.
- 20:22SPEAKER_00: But I also think it depends, I also think it uh it has a lot to do with how you're raised.
- 20:26SPEAKER_00: So that's true, you know, like in in Egypt, for example, or across the Middle East, there's a lot of like stray cats.
- 20:31SPEAKER_00: I know that it's a thing in Turkey too.
- 20:32SPEAKER_00: There's a lot of stray cats.
- 20:33SPEAKER_00: Some of the stray cats are adorable and beautiful and friendly, and some are vicious because of the fact that they're out on the street, right?
- 20:40SPEAKER_00: And people are rude to them or whatever.
- 20:41SPEAKER_00: So I think it's just, you know, it depends on what your relationship was or what you were conditioned to do with this animal.
- 20:47SPEAKER_00: My mom, for the longest time, was afraid of dogs.
- 20:50SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 20:50SPEAKER_00: But it's because she got bit by a dog when she was a child.
- 20:53SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah.
- 20:54SPEAKER_00: So, but my sister got this dog, and now my mom, like, she still has a little bit of apprehension and hesitation.
- 20:59SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 20:59SPEAKER_00: But you can see that she actually loves this animal.
- 21:01SPEAKER_00: And she plays with her, and she feeds her way too much food.
- 21:05SPEAKER_01: But see, that's different.
- 21:05SPEAKER_01: I'm talking about people who say, Oh no, ugh, I hate cats.
- 21:08SPEAKER_01: Like, why do you gotta say you hate cats?
- 21:09SPEAKER_01: Oh no, cats are really cute, and I think they're really smart.
- 21:12SPEAKER_01: That's a red flag for me.
- 21:13SPEAKER_01: I agree.
- 21:13SPEAKER_01: It's not just a deal, but a red flag.
- 21:15SPEAKER_00: I do like that that one is being cheap and the other one is people who don't like cats.
- 21:18SPEAKER_00: Yeah, those are my two deal breakers.
- 21:20SPEAKER_00: Oh, and like maybe the folks who don't like cats, can you just leave us a comment as to why you don't like cats?
- 21:25SPEAKER_00: I don't give a shit why you don't like it.
- 21:27SPEAKER_00: You do, you do.
- 21:28SPEAKER_00: No, I I really want to know like, am I right to be like and not just cats, but like just the animals in general?
- 21:33SPEAKER_00: Is it the way that you're like conditioned?
- 21:34SPEAKER_00: Like you grew up like and you had a bad experience assholes.
- 21:38SPEAKER_00: I don't want to say conditioned, that sounds bad, but you know what I mean.
- 21:41SPEAKER_00: Yeah, no, yeah, yeah.
- 21:42SPEAKER_01: I mean, that's that and also arrogance.
- 21:46SPEAKER_00: You're at three now.
- 21:47SPEAKER_00: Is that why don't you just keep going, Lena?
- 21:49SPEAKER_00: So Lena doesn't like cheap people, she doesn't like people who don't like cats.
- 21:52SPEAKER_00: That's a deal breaker for her.
- 21:53SPEAKER_00: She doesn't like arrogant.
- 21:54SPEAKER_01: Yeah, but you fush halcom.
- 21:55SPEAKER_01: Like, don't don't be arrogant.
- 21:57SPEAKER_00: Uh you know, the fourth thing is gonna be like Lena just doesn't like cats.
- 22:00SPEAKER_00: Like people.
- 22:00SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I mean that's true too, but like that's not a it's not a deal.
- 22:03SPEAKER_00: We told you guys she's camp hashtag new new friends.
- 22:05SPEAKER_00: Yeah, absolutely.
- 22:05SPEAKER_01: I actually put a sign at work when you're not.
- 22:08SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 22:08SPEAKER_01: So, like, because we had new people come see, I'm like, no, I'm not about that.
- 22:11SPEAKER_01: She don't talk to me.
- 22:12SPEAKER_01: And people look, why is she rude?
- 22:13SPEAKER_00: I'm like, as I yesterday made a friend at the Bloomingdales perfume counter.
- 22:16SPEAKER_00: Are you serious?
- 22:17SPEAKER_00: I am serious.
- 22:18SPEAKER_00: I have a witness too.
- 22:19SPEAKER_00: I literally made a friend at the Bloomingdales perfume counter.
- 22:23SPEAKER_01: Hi, man.
- 22:24SPEAKER_01: You are the person that will go out of your way to my conversation.
- 22:26SPEAKER_01: I'm the person that if I know someone.
- 22:28SPEAKER_00: So actually, I was having a conversation with my friend that was with me at the counter.
- 22:32SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 22:32SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 22:33SPEAKER_00: And we were talking about, you know, this, that, or the other.
- 22:35SPEAKER_01: This is your friend.
- 22:36SPEAKER_00: No, no, no, no.
- 22:37SPEAKER_00: Oh.
- 22:37SPEAKER_00: I was there with a friend.
- 22:39SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 22:39SPEAKER_00: And this woman was there at the Bloomingdales counter, and we were talking about scents and perfumes.
- 22:43SPEAKER_00: And I just picked out, we were at for for all my locals, I was in Mosaic at Bloomies, which is like a tiny Bloomingdales that's right in the heart of Mosaic.
- 22:51SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 22:52SPEAKER_00: I had just bought a perfume up the street from another, uh, from another like independent shop owner.
- 22:57SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 22:58SPEAKER_00: Um, and we were talking about perfumes, and and you, this woman, you could see that she was overhearing, like she was trying to listen in on what we were saying, not in a rude way.
- 23:06SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah.
- 23:07SPEAKER_00: But then she goes, you know, I'm trying to buy per a perfume from one of my friends, and it's her 40th, and she's fabulous, and this and that, and the other.
- 23:13SPEAKER_00: And that's how the conversation started.
- 23:14SPEAKER_00: And we exchanged numbers by the end of that conversation.
- 23:18SPEAKER_01: Uh even see this is someone she doesn't even know.
- 23:20SPEAKER_01: If I even see someone I know that I don't really want to have to know, I will hide.
- 23:24SPEAKER_01: I'd be like, Nope, I'll just turn around and go the other way.
- 23:27SPEAKER_01: I'm just not about that life.
- 23:28SPEAKER_01: No, it's not that it's like, I don't know.
- 23:29SPEAKER_01: Did I tell you, did I tell you the story of when the kids were babies and Amjad would take them every day for a walk?
- 23:35SPEAKER_01: Like they were maybe like five, six months old.
- 23:37SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 23:38SPEAKER_01: And uh he had he had to work late, and he's like, Oh, make sure you take them because they get used to it, you know, whatever.
- 23:43SPEAKER_01: So I took them out, I put them in the stroller, and like all these people were like smiling at me because they recognized the kids.
- 23:50SPEAKER_01: He was like, Oh, you're fucking like and they're looking at me, it's like they want to come talk to him.
- 23:54SPEAKER_01: Like, and I was like giving them resting bitch face, and I'm just like, uh, can I go home?
- 23:58SPEAKER_01: And I was telling my husband, he's like, Oh, did you see what's her name?
- 24:01SPEAKER_01: Did you see what's his name?
- 24:02SPEAKER_01: And I'm just like, what the hell, man?
- 24:03SPEAKER_00: He's like, My husband is really social too.
- 24:05SPEAKER_01: And I'm just like, no, I'm like, I don't want these people talking to me.
- 24:08SPEAKER_01: I'm like, why were they looking at us?
- 24:10SPEAKER_01: And he's like, Because they bring their kids, we can we sit there, we talk.
- 24:14SPEAKER_01: And I'm just like, oh my god, no, I'm I'm not about that life.
- 24:17SPEAKER_00: And that was the last time Lena took the kids out of the bike.
- 24:19SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah.
- 24:20SPEAKER_01: I haven't I didn't take them after I'm like, I can't do this.
- 24:22SPEAKER_01: I'm like, this is just so much.
- 24:24SPEAKER_00: But you know, it's funny, like in their neighborhood, Emdet is the one that like takes the kids out on the bike rides.
- 24:29SPEAKER_00: He's the one that like he knows all the neighborhoods.
- 24:31SPEAKER_01: And all the parents come and they're like, some guy that our neighbor one time came and he's knocking on the door.
- 24:36SPEAKER_01: He's like, is Adam here?
- 24:37SPEAKER_01: Because they call him Adam, whatever.
- 24:38SPEAKER_01: And I'm like, no, he's at work, what's up?
- 24:40SPEAKER_01: And then he's like, you know, there were these kids behind in the backyard, and I wanted to if he could talk to them.
- 24:45SPEAKER_01: I'm just like, like he was worried they were doing something wrong.
- 24:48SPEAKER_01: And I called my husband, like, are you like the mayor of this neighborhood?
- 24:52SPEAKER_00: Or the HOA president, I think.
- 24:54SPEAKER_01: Like, I mean, they want him to be, but like, he's just so active.
- 24:57SPEAKER_01: And I'm just like, I can't do that.
- 24:58SPEAKER_01: Like, he actually talks to the neighbors, he knows their name.
- 25:00SPEAKER_01: Somebody like that in the neighborhood.
- 25:02SPEAKER_01: I guess it's not gonna be me.
- 25:03SPEAKER_01: I'm just I can't.
- 25:05SPEAKER_01: She's just there for the fringe benefits.
- 25:06SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 25:07SPEAKER_01: I'm just like, I have enough things to do in my life.
- 25:09SPEAKER_01: I don't need to like know everybody's issues, and I like I can barely help myself.
- 25:15SPEAKER_01: So Lena is like if I can give money, I'll give you money, like to deal with the situation.
- 25:19SPEAKER_01: But like, don't ask me to actually like spend some time.
- 25:22SPEAKER_00: We've learned that I am all about new friends and Lena is no new friends.
- 25:25SPEAKER_01: No, like if I can solve the problem with money, I'll do that.
- 25:28SPEAKER_01: Oh my gosh, yes.
- 25:30SPEAKER_01: Just so I don't have to interact.
- 25:32SPEAKER_00: Whereas I'm like, let me show up, let's say everybody, let's talk about it.
- 25:35SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 25:36SPEAKER_00: And I often wonder this was a fun conversation.
- 25:38SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 25:38SPEAKER_00: I often wonder how we are actually friends.
- 25:40SPEAKER_00: But that's because opposites attract.
- 25:42SPEAKER_00: Yes, we get each other.
- 25:43SPEAKER_00: Yeah, 100%.
