Transcript
- 1:00Speaker 1: Hello, welcome to module eight.
- 1:02Speaker 1: I think I've got the black eye covered as much as I possibly can.
- 1:10Speaker 1: If you were watching one of the other modules, I mentioned that I fell and I have a black eye, so I'm getting better at my makeup and I felt that this module was super important.
- 1:20Speaker 1: I might do the next last two modules without seeing my face, but overcoming resistance is something that I struggle with myself.
- 1:27Speaker 1: A lot of people talk about imposter syndrome, but that self-talk right here is what holds you back.
- 1:34Speaker 1: You have to get out of your way so that you can actually manifest what you want.
- 1:38Speaker 1: And I know there's a fan going up above.
- 1:40Speaker 1: You just have to live with it, I'm sorry.
- 1:42Speaker 1: And so resistance actually shows up as fear, right?
- 1:45Speaker 1: So how many times you've been doing your hair, putting on your makeup and you're like I have all of this stuff to do and I have to meet payroll, right?
- 1:51Speaker 1: So these are fear, doubt, procrastination or self-sabotage.
- 1:56Speaker 1: I know quite a few relatives who self-sabotage.
- 1:59Speaker 1: You'd be surprised.
- 2:01Speaker 1: They are million-dollar producers, regardless of what year it is, they'll produce, they'll do a volume of million dollars, two million dollars, five million dollars.
- 2:09Speaker 1: They're broke by the end of the year.
- 2:11Speaker 1: Every single year they self-sabotage, no matter what.
- 2:13Speaker 1: So it's this whole dynamic of that internal dialogue in your head.
- 2:18Speaker 1: That's why I like for you to write out what your mantras are.
- 2:21Speaker 1: The more you write, the better you become and the easier it is to achieve what you're looking for.
- 2:26Speaker 1: So, instead of ignoring it, acknowledge it, like I can totally tell when I feel so.
- 2:32Speaker 1: Sometimes I have to go out wandering in the forest or for a walk, if it's the, if the weather permitted, right so.
- 2:39Speaker 1: And you have to ask yourself what you're afraid of.
- 2:41Speaker 1: I'm looking at my notes, right so?
- 2:43Speaker 1: And you have to ask yourself what you're afraid of.
- 2:45Speaker 1: I'm looking at my notes.
- 2:49Speaker 1: Is this story true or it's just old programming?
- 2:50Speaker 1: We are pre-programmed from our parents.
- 2:51Speaker 1: I don't care what they say, you can have the best parents, you can have the worst parents, but we're pre-programmed from those experiences.
- 2:54Speaker 1: So you have to work on yourself to try to make sure that those work in your favor.
- 2:59Speaker 1: And it takes practice to not be, to not like push the button right.
- 3:03Speaker 1: How many times have our brothers and sisters just knew what buttons to push and just did it intentionally, just to get a response right.
- 3:09Speaker 1: Don't do that, don't do that, don't do that, don't do that.
- 3:13Speaker 1: Don't do that, right.
- 3:13Speaker 1: And my brother used to just like torment me.
- 3:16Speaker 1: He's no longer around, but I remember those times when we were kids and he would just torment me and torment me.
- 3:21Speaker 1: So you need to replace it with a new perspective.
- 3:25Speaker 1: And there is a resistance worksheet.
- 3:27Speaker 1: What resistance do I feel right now?
- 3:28Speaker 1: You write it out.
- 3:30Speaker 1: What fear is underneath that resistance?
- 3:33Speaker 1: Write it out.
- 3:34Speaker 1: And what's a more powerful or empowering belief, right?
- 3:40Speaker 1: Is it beneficial for me to stay in my old patterns or is it more beneficial for me to take a step and move forward, because we know that universe likes action, right?
- 3:49Speaker 1: So those are the three things I'd work on for this module and I'll see you in the next one.
