- 0:48Speaker 5: here in the nine first time making my way out
- 0:51Speaker 5: to wind Ross, in particular Windross Farm Golf Club. She's
- 0:54Speaker 5: bloody beautiful mate. Just driving up the long driveway there
- 0:58Speaker 5: and seeing the course sixteen in the way that the
- 1:00Speaker 5: right hand side of the drive, it's a beautiful spot
- 1:04Speaker 5: to her of a drive. It's much further but great place.
- 1:08Speaker 5: Why don't you get the issues a flash, bastard, I
- 1:10Speaker 5: tell you what. I won't be a member out here
- 1:11Speaker 5: anytime soon.
- 1:14Speaker 3: Neither will I Keys. Neither were you, I imagine because
- 1:17Speaker 3: fellas we're stalking boys at hard An't.
- 1:19Speaker 1: Yeah, we're wait tucking it for life. Man.
- 1:21Speaker 4: It is great to be here. Though we've spent the
- 1:23Speaker 4: entire day playing golf. We've had some great winners a
- 1:26Speaker 4: company us. We went up against Maniah and Jerry. Classic
- 1:29Speaker 4: thing on the line, which was the loser of the
- 1:32Speaker 4: Ambrose Tournament. Will have to cover the other person's show
- 1:34Speaker 4: now just for the audience. Mogi was not a participant.
- 1:39Speaker 4: He arrived once the results had been announced, which was
- 1:43Speaker 4: very excited, exciting. We recorded the announcement of the results
- 1:47Speaker 4: with Jerry and Maniah. That is what you were going
- 1:48Speaker 4: to hear next, after a couple of tunes before Jerry
- 1:51Speaker 4: had to shoot off for seven shark.
- 1:52Speaker 1: Yes, so to be clear, I still don't know that.
- 1:54Speaker 1: You still don't know the result, which is so great.
- 1:56Speaker 5: So we're going to have this real check a couple
- 1:58Speaker 5: of tunes going to come back. The announcement was going
- 2:00Speaker 5: to play out. I'm going to step away, yep, have
- 2:04Speaker 5: I won't be here, and then I'm going to come
- 2:06Speaker 5: back and you guys are going to tell me what
- 2:08Speaker 5: the result is, and I'm pretty excited. Yeah, yeah, because
- 2:12Speaker 5: well I am excited, and I'm excited both ways because
- 2:15Speaker 5: either we won or we last, ye last, what I
- 2:16Speaker 5: get to on the last over the year once again
- 2:18Speaker 5: of the Breakfast Show, which I love doing, and get
- 2:21Speaker 5: to do the Drive Show, which I also love doing.
- 2:22Speaker 1: So I'm happy either way, Founders, it's win.
- 2:24Speaker 3: Winners, and as I'm concerned, you know, because you know,
- 2:27Speaker 3: should we lose, for example, then it's a whole day
- 2:30Speaker 3: of the Big Show exactly final day of the year.
- 2:32Speaker 1: How good isn't that just excellent?
- 2:35Speaker 4: So that was what was on the line one show
- 2:37Speaker 4: covering the other show's first final show of the year,
- 2:41Speaker 4: so the other side gets an extended holiday. So what
- 2:43Speaker 4: you're going to hear after a couple of tunes is
- 2:45Speaker 4: the official announcement of the results with Jerry Menia and
- 2:49Speaker 4: myself and Hoody Jovih.
- 2:50Speaker 1: That'll be after some new ship.
- 2:54Speaker 2: The Hurdarchy Big Show week days from four on Radio Hidarchy.
- 2:58Speaker 3: Is indeed blink one a two there on the Radio
- 3:00Speaker 3: Honarchy Big Show. That's glorious, magnificent. Wednesday afternoon, we're at
- 3:06Speaker 3: the sensationally attractive wind Ross Farm golf course and we've
- 3:12Speaker 3: been going toaded so with the fellows from the Breakfast
- 3:15Speaker 3: show looking for revenge, weren't we easy looking for revenge
- 3:19Speaker 3: after the last debarkle last time we played golf?
- 3:23Speaker 1: Well, yeah, we lost that game, Jase.
- 3:25Speaker 4: We then had to buy them a steak dinner, which
- 3:27Speaker 4: of course we did do and it was delicious.
- 3:28Speaker 1: We had a lot of fun.
- 3:29Speaker 4: We then lost a four by one hundred meter relay
- 3:32Speaker 4: which resulted in us covering their show. So today there's
- 3:35Speaker 4: a lot on the line and I have put forward
- 3:36Speaker 4: that we are whoever loses today's game of Amberros with winners,
- 3:40Speaker 4: we'll have to cover the final show of the year
- 3:42Speaker 4: for the other party, extending their summer holiday.
- 3:44Speaker 6: Well, I actually put forward a financial incentive where you
- 3:46Speaker 6: buy you would pay November, but you guys weren't keen
- 3:48Speaker 6: on that.
- 3:49Speaker 1: So we settled on covering each other's shows.
- 3:52Speaker 3: Well, I think that's we could still review that Manaia.
- 3:55Speaker 3: I mean, let's just see how things set out. And
- 3:58Speaker 3: you know I'm always happing to open my wallet. Chear.
- 4:00Speaker 1: Well, that's the thing, is Jason.
- 4:02Speaker 4: It's actually against Jaceon's religion to donate to charity, so
- 4:05Speaker 4: we had to pivot. But Jerry, after that massive rounds,
- 4:08Speaker 4: how are you feeling?
- 4:10Speaker 3: Look, I think we bonded well as a team straight away,
- 4:13Speaker 3: and both Charlie and Tom added a huge amount to
- 4:16Speaker 3: our team. We're actually all very similar golfers, all of
- 4:18Speaker 3: a similar standard. But we were.
- 4:20Speaker 6: Lucky that when we were playing, one of us generally
- 4:23Speaker 6: would would play a good shot of any situation.
- 4:26Speaker 3: So look, we played very well as a team.
- 4:29Speaker 1: We complimented each other incredibly well. Yeah, and I'll tell
- 4:32Speaker 1: you we can say the same.
- 4:33Speaker 4: We had Joe and Kurt with us who were magnificent
- 4:37Speaker 4: and we.
- 4:37Speaker 3: Well, I mean he was hopeless at times but certainly
- 4:41Speaker 3: pulled it out of the bag for us on a
- 4:42Speaker 3: number of holes. And did you pulled us from the
- 4:45Speaker 3: brink keys, But we bonded as a team very much.
- 4:48Speaker 1: We certainly did.
- 4:49Speaker 4: Now it's time to do the big reveal to find
- 4:51Speaker 4: out who was covering the other show's final show of
- 4:54Speaker 4: the year. We've got big the day show host here.
- 4:56Speaker 4: We don't know we've scored, we don't know what the
- 4:58Speaker 4: opposition to scored. We don't know who's one.
- 5:00Speaker 6: I wished our round and didn't know who had won
- 5:02Speaker 6: or who had lost. But I said that they've got
- 5:04Speaker 6: the Ladies Summer Cup going on, and if we were
- 5:06Speaker 6: playing against them, even as a four ball Ambros, we
- 5:08Speaker 6: lost by ten strokes.
- 5:09Speaker 1: We got it absolutely smoked. We are really bad at golf.
- 5:12Speaker 4: All right, So Big, you've tallied this, and can I
- 5:14Speaker 4: confirm you've had someone check over it.
- 5:16Speaker 1: I haven't had.
- 5:17Speaker 2: Andrew the CEO here at Windos he was the scrutineer.
- 5:20Speaker 1: So it's been double chicked. Okay, all right, how are
- 5:23Speaker 1: you going to announce first? Bricky?
- 5:25Speaker 2: Gotta announce Bricky's score first?
- 5:27Speaker 1: Let's do lay it on us. Thirty three. That's three three,
- 5:32Speaker 1: three hundred on the back nine. What are you groaning for? Jason?
- 5:38Speaker 1: And you've had it double chicked. I've had a double chick,
- 5:41Speaker 1: double chicked?
- 5:42Speaker 3: Yes, okay, are you ready for it? Yes?
- 5:45Speaker 1: All right? The Big Show got a score of thirty four.
- 5:54Speaker 3: No, it'll be yout We did it, man.
- 6:03Speaker 1: There were moments. There were moments we thought so off.
- 6:06Speaker 6: One of the I think it was the fifteenth, we
- 6:08Speaker 6: hit three consecutive tea shots into the drink. Only one
- 6:11Speaker 6: of them just menaced the land on the inside, and
- 6:14Speaker 6: just when knew we had a sniff, we just finished
- 6:17Speaker 6: that round without knowing who had won or who had lost.
- 6:19Speaker 1: How does it feel, Jerry?
- 6:21Speaker 3: You don't know how good this feels losing And the
- 6:25Speaker 3: thing about it is for me, it's off the back
- 6:27Speaker 3: of other victories as well. And I would have thought
- 6:29Speaker 3: that because we have beaten you guys so many times,
- 6:32Speaker 3: it would diminish each time.
- 6:33Speaker 1: The feeling, But weirdly, it actually increases it. And I
- 6:36Speaker 1: actually feel.
- 6:37Speaker 3: Better about this victory.
- 6:38Speaker 1: And I feel happier about this victory than either of
- 6:41Speaker 1: the other two.
- 6:42Speaker 3: Right, shut it, would you, Jerry?
- 6:43Speaker 6: The best part is our holiday. Our summer now starts
- 6:46Speaker 6: a day earlier. That means the Friday, the nineteenth, we
- 6:48Speaker 6: get off. I think Tom and Charlie should also get
- 6:51Speaker 6: the Fridays off at their respective workplaces.
- 6:53Speaker 1: It's bloody.
- 6:54Speaker 6: In fact, you guys should have to go and cover
- 6:56Speaker 6: them at their work You know, I.
- 6:57Speaker 3: Look back on that relay and I'm still felthy about it.
- 7:01Speaker 3: I mean, I told you not to accept this. You
- 7:05Speaker 3: know what my wife said to me this morning. I
- 7:07Speaker 3: told her what the deal was, and she said, you
- 7:09Speaker 3: infinite is Well?
- 7:11Speaker 6: I heard a trailer plague on Hodaki this morning. So
- 7:14Speaker 6: you saying they should cover.
- 7:15Speaker 3: The whole week? Yeah, I know, well yeah, oh well okay,
- 7:18Speaker 3: so we're donating to November.
- 7:22Speaker 1: How about this? How about this?
- 7:23Speaker 4: What if each one of us donates fifty dollars to November?
- 7:26Speaker 1: You guys interested in that charity?
- 7:28Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 7:28Speaker 1: Sure, but you guys still work out last day. Okay,
- 7:31Speaker 1: looks like we're doing.
- 7:32Speaker 3: Mogi's not going to be happy.
- 7:35Speaker 1: And I'm sick of people being like, oh, but you're
- 7:37Speaker 1: beating them in the ratings. It's like, I don't care.
- 7:39Speaker 1: I want to be here.
- 7:40Speaker 3: You know, oh, well well done, fall, well done, good calls.
- 7:44Speaker 3: Make sure you do donate to November. You know, we'll go.
- 7:47Speaker 3: If you're thinking about a mate who you haven't seen
- 7:49Speaker 3: for a long time, give him a call. Man, just
- 7:51Speaker 3: say get out and it's going out a busy or
- 7:53Speaker 3: something around it or a game.
- 7:54Speaker 1: Of golf, that's right. And while you're doing that, enjoy
- 7:57Speaker 1: some pearl jam Black.
- 7:59Speaker 2: Whoo The hold Aching Big Show with Jason, Mike and Keyzy.
- 8:03Speaker 2: Tune in week days at four on Radio Hold Ikey Birosmith.
- 8:07Speaker 3: There on the Radio Hold Archy Big Show. This beautiful Wednesday, afternoon,
- 8:12Speaker 3: So the announcement has been made. Maggie went out for
- 8:16Speaker 3: a quiet Darry while we chatted with the fellas. He's
- 8:19Speaker 3: back with us now, yeah, and do you want to
- 8:23Speaker 3: tell him keys or well?
- 8:25Speaker 4: Okay, so if you've just joined us, we've had Jerry
- 8:28Speaker 4: and Iah, come on, we've announced who has officially won
- 8:31Speaker 4: the Big Show versus Breakfast Show Golf Game, the loser
- 8:34Speaker 4: of whom we'll have to cover the other person's final
- 8:37Speaker 4: show of the year.
- 8:39Speaker 1: Yes, Now do I get to talk about my vibe? Yes?
- 8:43Speaker 4: How are you feeling going into this? Because you were
- 8:44Speaker 4: the one that encouraged us to put this thing on
- 8:46Speaker 4: the line.
- 8:47Speaker 5: I didn't want to do it one hundred percent, and
- 8:49Speaker 5: we had a lot of chats off here and my
- 8:53Speaker 5: vibe was absolutely you just got to go for it.
- 8:54Speaker 1: You've got to be in to.
- 8:55Speaker 5: Win, bloody oats, and don't I don't mind losing, but
- 8:59Speaker 5: I cannot stomach not trying. So yeah, we jumped on here.
- 9:05Speaker 5: I gave it quite an inspiring speech to you. Good
- 9:09Speaker 5: fired me out. Then Jace sort of ruined it by
- 9:12Speaker 5: wanting it to be for the whole week, but we
- 9:13Speaker 5: got there eventually, so I don't care. I'm just happy
- 9:16Speaker 5: that you guys took on the challenge, very proud of
- 9:19Speaker 5: you both, and I don't care what the result is
- 9:21Speaker 5: as far as I'm concerned.
- 9:22Speaker 1: We've already won.
- 9:23Speaker 5: Yes, my vibe is, Look, I think we might have
- 9:28Speaker 5: taken out, but I also think it might even be
- 9:30Speaker 5: a draw, So I don't know. Now, we also might
- 9:32Speaker 5: have lost, but I'm not That's not where my heart is.
- 9:34Speaker 1: Yeah, right, So your vibe is that we took it
- 9:36Speaker 1: out all we drew. Now before we announced, that's.
- 9:40Speaker 3: Not what I thought your vibe was.
- 9:42Speaker 4: Okay, Yes, Now, Jace, before we announced, how pleased were
- 9:46Speaker 4: you with the round?
- 9:48Speaker 3: I'm going to be honest with you. It was real solid.
- 9:51Speaker 3: We had the two backbones with us, Joe Curtain and Joe,
- 9:57Speaker 3: and it was probably the best we've ever played.
- 10:01Speaker 1: Oh god, we got pumped and.
- 10:07Speaker 3: I was very proud of the feelings.
- 10:09Speaker 4: Yeah, so get this Mogi as a as a group,
- 10:12Speaker 4: we had three booties, we had five pars and only
- 10:17Speaker 4: one bogie, right, which is really really great going.
- 10:19Speaker 1: And we're like, none of us were really good golfers. Lost.
- 10:23Speaker 1: What the hell's going on?
- 10:25Speaker 5: You can't tell me all of that it's unbelievable.
- 10:29Speaker 1: Right, so we've been hammered. Okay, let's go now.
- 10:32Speaker 3: The official result is you're going to give.
- 10:35Speaker 1: The scores the Big Show Shot.
- 10:37Speaker 4: We did give the scores four thirty four, The Big
- 10:40Speaker 4: Show Shot over, which is really great West.
- 10:45Speaker 3: The Breakfast Show, Mogi shot thirty three.
- 10:54Speaker 1: Are you please now put this on the line again?
- 10:57Speaker 1: And we are now doing the final break for Show
- 10:58Speaker 1: of the Year.
- 10:59Speaker 5: Look, and if it was going to go anyway, it
- 11:02Speaker 5: was probably going to go that way that we're going
- 11:03Speaker 5: to get We're going to get pepped at the post Fellers.
- 11:05Speaker 3: I know good.
- 11:07Speaker 1: Do you know what's funny? Though?
- 11:08Speaker 4: I was talking to we had a debrief talk to
- 11:10Speaker 4: Jerry and and and I was like, seriously, Jerry played terrible.
- 11:13Speaker 1: I played terrible.
- 11:14Speaker 4: One of their winners, Charlie had an absolute blinder, right,
- 11:18Speaker 4: and so if it wasn't for Charlie we would have
- 11:19Speaker 4: won comfortably.
- 11:20Speaker 5: Yeah, right, Well, I do think it's weird that they
- 11:23Speaker 5: got to even include their scores. And if we did
- 11:25Speaker 5: a count back where it was just Breakfast versus we
- 11:29Speaker 5: should do it where it's Breakfast versus the Drive Show.
- 11:33Speaker 3: Look, I I've got to say I'm gasstt by that result.
- 11:36Speaker 3: I would rather lose by fifteen shots than one shot.
- 11:40Speaker 3: And there's so many little moments throughout the morning where
- 11:44Speaker 3: it was like if that was so close, there was
- 11:48Speaker 3: one again pepped by an inch.
- 11:51Speaker 4: There was one where and when you're putting in golf
- 11:54Speaker 4: and this is boring, friend on that doesn't play. But
- 11:56Speaker 4: if you're about two meters away or closer, you pull
- 11:58Speaker 4: the get someone to pull the flag out of the whole.
- 12:01Speaker 4: I parted it probably like a two meter part. I
- 12:03Speaker 4: can't remember exactly, but it went and hit the flagpole
- 12:07Speaker 4: and then jumped out again.
- 12:08Speaker 1: Right.
- 12:08Speaker 4: If I had sunk that, it would have been a draw.
- 12:10Speaker 4: And so we it's just stupid stuff.
- 12:12Speaker 1: Like not fault. Yeah, it is my fault.
- 12:16Speaker 4: I didn't want to do it in the first place.
- 12:17Speaker 4: We've lost again and now we're covering the breakfast show.
- 12:19Speaker 3: Well I am gut it. I am gut it. I'll
- 12:22Speaker 3: be honest. But you know, as we as we said,
- 12:24Speaker 3: it was beautiful out there and the Feelers played real solid.
- 12:28Speaker 3: Everyone pitched in where they needed to and we just
- 12:32Speaker 3: we fell sure, we fell shure.
- 12:34Speaker 4: And if anyone's wondering, when is this breakfast show going
- 12:36Speaker 4: to be It is the final show of the year, Friday,
- 12:38Speaker 4: December nineteenth, The Big Show will be doing two shows.
- 12:41Speaker 1: I'm busy, I think.
- 12:42Speaker 3: Yeah, while was it the nineteenth?
- 12:44Speaker 2: Was it the Hadiarching Big Show? Was Jason, Mike and
- 12:47Speaker 2: Kezy Tune in on radio?
- 12:51Speaker 3: Yes, indeed, Lincoln Park there on the radio, hold Ankee
- 12:56Speaker 3: Big Show, This beautiful Wednesday afternoon live from wind Dross
- 12:59Speaker 3: Farm golf Course. We've given Mogi the bad news. He's
- 13:03Speaker 3: taken it like a champion. As a team, as a team,
- 13:07Speaker 3: we've absorbed it. We're looking at the positives and just
- 13:11Speaker 3: fizziting at the prospect of ending the year with two shows.
- 13:14Speaker 3: So it's all going to be good. We wanted, we
- 13:16Speaker 3: wanted to lose, yeah, totally.
- 13:18Speaker 5: You know, nothing would make me happier than robbing those
- 13:21Speaker 5: guys of the opportunity to bore the country with that
- 13:24Speaker 5: breakfast content they roll out.
- 13:26Speaker 1: Exactly, yeah, exactly. Now victory can I say for New Zealand,
- 13:30Speaker 1: for all New Zealand.
- 13:31Speaker 3: It's a victory for the listeners. Thank you now, Fellas
- 13:34Speaker 3: you know, at the moment, I'm in the process of
- 13:36Speaker 3: trying to find a new place to live.
- 13:38Speaker 1: Yeah, that's right, apartments.
- 13:40Speaker 3: An apartment in the CBD is our preference, and she's
- 13:43Speaker 3: proving a bit of a hor of a task. Now,
- 13:46Speaker 3: ultimately what we want is three bedrooms.
- 13:50Speaker 1: Right, So that's because you've got your daughter still staying
- 13:52Speaker 1: with anyone. A guest room, we want a guest room bathroom.
- 13:55Speaker 3: Oh look, we could live with one bathroom, but an
- 13:59Speaker 3: on sweet would be good, plus a main bathroom. A
- 14:03Speaker 3: loft is certainly.
- 14:05Speaker 1: Something loft at an apartment.
- 14:06Speaker 3: And yeah, well you know, maybe two levels.
- 14:09Speaker 1: Yeah, sure, possibly.
- 14:11Speaker 3: But the thing that's really tripping us up, and it
- 14:15Speaker 3: surprised me is looking at properties the lack of sex dungeons. Yeah,
- 14:21Speaker 3: you would be amazed. It never occurred to me that
- 14:24Speaker 3: when you're looking for a house to live in that
- 14:28Speaker 3: there wouldn't be a sex dungeon in it.
- 14:29Speaker 4: Well, just because I don't even know that, you know,
- 14:31Speaker 4: like when you say sex dungeon, is that something that
- 14:34Speaker 4: your whole family requires?
- 14:35Speaker 1: Is that like a non negotiable.
- 14:37Speaker 3: Oh no, it's just me and my wife, right, yeah
- 14:40Speaker 3: and assorted guests.
- 14:41Speaker 4: Yeah, it does it have to be like a classic
- 14:43Speaker 4: dungeon underground.
- 14:45Speaker 1: Well that's the.
- 14:45Speaker 5: Thing in my head on thinking dungeon that's going to
- 14:48Speaker 5: require another level. And if you're in an apartment, it's
- 14:51Speaker 5: going to be tricky loft and a sex dungeon.
- 14:54Speaker 3: And that's what we're finding out, Magie. I mean, I'm
- 14:57Speaker 3: we're perfectly happy, of course to have a sort of
- 14:59Speaker 3: fourth bedroom, black out the windows, you know what I mean.
- 15:02Speaker 3: We can, we can adapt in that sense, but it's
- 15:06Speaker 3: you know, it's one of those things you find out
- 15:07Speaker 3: when you're looking for a property that you never sort
- 15:09Speaker 3: of factor and when you start off, you know what
- 15:12Speaker 3: I mean.
- 15:12Speaker 1: And have you typed in?
- 15:13Speaker 4: Have you tried typing in sex dungeon and to trade
- 15:16Speaker 4: me is it a filter?
- 15:17Speaker 3: Yes, sex Dungeon has been typed in. Kes. I think
- 15:20Speaker 3: we've come across three at this point and they are
- 15:23Speaker 3: all filthy.
- 15:24Speaker 1: Yeah, they tend to be, so you want to spick
- 15:25Speaker 1: and span.
- 15:26Speaker 3: One one of them actually had a body in it, right,
- 15:29Speaker 3: so you know, we weren't keen on that, you know.
- 15:31Speaker 3: And if there's anyone out there listening actually in terms
- 15:34Speaker 3: of you know, they know a place in the CBD
- 15:37Speaker 3: with three bedrooms on Sweet Main, bathroom and sex dungeon
- 15:41Speaker 3: if they could tax through one three four eight three
- 15:43Speaker 3: and let me know.
- 15:44Speaker 5: Yeah, right, okay, would you say it all for a
- 15:47Speaker 5: wine cellar or even a butler's pantry.
- 15:50Speaker 3: Oh, look at a stretch. I could do a butler's pantry.
- 15:56Speaker 3: But you know you've got to have you've got to
- 15:57Speaker 3: have room to swing the wap.
- 15:59Speaker 5: That's right, And you do sort of need I think
- 16:02Speaker 5: a solid door. There's nothing like walking into a six
- 16:05Speaker 5: dungeon and hearing the clatter of steel as the door
- 16:09Speaker 5: swings too. Yes, you know, those bi folding MDF doors
- 16:13Speaker 5: don't really don't really cut it.
- 16:15Speaker 1: No, no, And you a scullery. What a scullery?
- 16:17Speaker 3: Well, a scullery could work as well, but you want
- 16:20Speaker 3: to have something that drowns out the screens.
- 16:22Speaker 1: Yes, you know what I mean.
- 16:23Speaker 4: You could put like, you know, get some egg cartons
- 16:25Speaker 4: and put them on the wall and stuff.
- 16:26Speaker 1: You know.
- 16:28Speaker 3: Yeah, it's very hard. You can't start putting egg cartons
- 16:31Speaker 3: up on the walls when you're renting. Keasy.
- 16:33Speaker 1: Yeah, But if anyone does know.
- 16:35Speaker 3: Three four eight three quitty j six.
- 16:38Speaker 1: Dungeon, is that what you want them to text?
- 16:42Speaker 3: Or?
- 16:42Speaker 5: Oh?
- 16:42Speaker 3: No, I mean if they know, I mean, it could
- 16:45Speaker 3: be removed from the property altogether.
- 16:47Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, you know it would be in a storage
- 16:50Speaker 1: in a garden. Shit.
- 16:52Speaker 3: No's that's just being silly.
- 16:53Speaker 1: Oh okay, has that me being silly?
- 16:54Speaker 5: Is it?
- 16:55Speaker 1: Do you like the cure?
- 16:56Speaker 2: Oh yeah, Hurdarchy Big Show with Jason Point, Mike Minogue and.
- 17:02Speaker 3: You're there on the radio Hodarkey Big Show this Wednesday afternoon.
- 17:06Speaker 3: Let's talk some TV. What's on the Telly with Mike Minogue.
- 17:17Speaker 5: Hey, fellas, last night I watched a new show, a stale,
- 17:28Speaker 5: a new show called Ribus.
- 17:30Speaker 1: Yes, oh that's the Breaking band.
- 17:33Speaker 5: That's right, it's a guy for Breaking Dad, Vince Gilligan.
- 17:36Speaker 5: His next project following that huge success. It's a horror
- 17:42Speaker 5: which surprised me a good And it starts out and
- 17:45Speaker 5: it's immediately gripping a bunch of nerds, I like to
- 17:48Speaker 5: call them a nerds sort.
- 17:49Speaker 3: Of keasy, pugsy, sort of gamer boys.
- 17:52Speaker 1: Sort of that sort of thing.
- 17:54Speaker 5: Yes, but if it's possible, less sex appeal, okay, And
- 17:58Speaker 5: they're sort of they're out in the middle of where
- 18:00Speaker 5: with some some of those big satellite dishes there. One
- 18:05Speaker 5: of the nerds has made a discovery and there's a transmission,
- 18:08Speaker 5: a message being sent from out of space and they're
- 18:11Speaker 5: just trying to decipher what this thing is. They're very excited,
- 18:13Speaker 5: as only nerds can get when it comes to that
- 18:15Speaker 5: sort of thing. And they finally work out what it is,
- 18:19Speaker 5: they start to they get to deciphering and put into
- 18:23Speaker 5: effect what the hypothesis is, right, and then cut away
- 18:27Speaker 5: from that excitement to a woman who's promoting a book
- 18:31Speaker 5: that she's selling. She's an author, she doesn't like what
- 18:33Speaker 5: she makes, and she's with her agent. She's doing a
- 18:36Speaker 5: signing at a local bookstore, and then she goes. They
- 18:39Speaker 5: go off and they have a drink, and all of
- 18:41Speaker 5: a sudden, the locals begin acting very very strangely. So
- 18:46Speaker 5: it becomes clear that whatever has come from out of
- 18:48Speaker 5: space is starting to have an effect on the population
- 18:53Speaker 5: of the world. There's fires, as crashes, things aren't looking
- 18:57Speaker 5: particularly good. But for some reason, this particular the woman,
- 19:00Speaker 5: the author whose name I couldn't tell you, she is
- 19:03Speaker 5: completely unaffected by it. So we are seeing what is
- 19:06Speaker 5: happening to the world through her eyes, and it is
- 19:10Speaker 5: bloody good. I don't want to go into too much
- 19:12Speaker 5: detail because you guys will watch it. Definitely are but
- 19:15Speaker 5: alien stuff and what the hell is going on?
- 19:18Speaker 1: Stuff?
- 19:19Speaker 5: For a and I was talking about this before. J
- 19:22Speaker 5: So often you start watching something and think, oh god,
- 19:25Speaker 5: this is hard game, but we'll give it one episode
- 19:27Speaker 5: and see where it ends up. This is immediately pretty gripping. Yes,
- 19:30Speaker 5: so this is on Rotten Tomatoes. It's at one hundred percent.
- 19:33Speaker 5: I believe the whole show is out, so no finale
- 19:35Speaker 5: to come along and ruin it like Game of Throne
- 19:37Speaker 5: season eight. Yeah, kezy, And it's one hundred percent. And
- 19:41Speaker 5: I give it so far that first episode. I'll give
- 19:43Speaker 5: it four very very firm, solid buzzies.
- 19:46Speaker 3: Wow, I'm excited by that. Magie. That seems right up
- 19:50Speaker 3: my alley.
- 19:50Speaker 1: Where did you watch it? So it's on Apple and
- 19:53Speaker 1: it's all pluribus.
- 19:54Speaker 4: And because I'll never forget the first episode of Breaking Bad,
- 19:59Speaker 4: very gripping.
- 19:59Speaker 1: Is it's him and the v crashing in the desert.
- 20:02Speaker 4: Walter White's there and his undies and his shirt and
- 20:04Speaker 4: he's got himself into this predicament and then it just
- 20:06Speaker 4: shows that, Like so obviously, starting a series with a
- 20:10Speaker 4: gripping first episode, so hard to do but very effective.
- 20:14Speaker 3: Is it week by week magie or has it all
- 20:16Speaker 3: been released?
- 20:16Speaker 1: I couldn't tell you. I'm pretty pretty pretty sure that
- 20:19Speaker 1: it's all there.
- 20:20Speaker 3: Yeah, good, okay, that's me tonight. I've got nothing to
- 20:22Speaker 3: offer on the TV front, Fellas. I was early to
- 20:25Speaker 3: bed for the golf match, no love making, straight to sleep.
- 20:28Speaker 1: Yeah, you could go through again. How we lost the golf, Yeah,
- 20:32Speaker 1: we could do that. How many busies do you give
- 20:34Speaker 1: our golf, man?
- 20:34Speaker 3: I give our golf four busies?
- 20:36Speaker 1: Yeah, that's right. But the breakfast show four and a
- 20:38Speaker 1: half busies out five?
- 20:39Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 20:39Speaker 1: Yeah. Last night, Fellers, my wife was out late. She
- 20:43Speaker 1: was playing squash again again.
- 20:45Speaker 4: Well yeah, every Tuesday she plays squash, and then after
- 20:47Speaker 4: squash they had squash drinks. It's just a standard midweek
- 20:50Speaker 4: thing to sort of round out the year. So she
- 20:52Speaker 4: came home at sort of two three am.
- 20:56Speaker 1: I don't even have a squash wrecker at home now.
- 20:59Speaker 4: She wasn't wearing a watched record thinking of after she
- 21:01Speaker 4: was wearing. She was wearing like a mini skirt and
- 21:06Speaker 4: a sort of boom tube. And so she and she
- 21:11Speaker 4: came home. Yeah, but I obviously waited up for her
- 21:13Speaker 4: and cooked her dinner once she got home there and
- 21:16Speaker 4: then I was like, oh, do you want to watch
- 21:17Speaker 4: you when to finished.
- 21:18Speaker 1: Watching that show? We were watching. She's like, oh, no,
- 21:19Speaker 1: I'm pretty tired.
- 21:20Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 21:20Speaker 1: She kind of slurted at me she's tired.
- 21:24Speaker 4: So yeah, I can't actually offer much either, but apparently
- 21:27Speaker 4: I asked her. She gave the squash drinks three and
- 21:29Speaker 4: a half busies out of five, so it's pretty good.
- 21:32Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 21:32Speaker 1: Nice, Yeah, yeah, I'm just talking out the window.
- 21:34Speaker 5: Fellers, and there's a couple of guys with golf carts
- 21:36Speaker 5: that look like they're bittery powered or remote control.
- 21:39Speaker 1: That's walking. They go by themselves.
- 21:41Speaker 3: Yeah, they're all over the place making.
- 21:43Speaker 1: And also were at wind Ross Farm golf course by
- 21:45Speaker 1: the way, doing the show.
- 21:46Speaker 5: Is he running it on a remote on his phone?
- 21:48Speaker 5: That's an absolute crime?
- 21:49Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, so it's like an it's an
- 21:52Speaker 4: electronic robotic golf trund looking.
- 21:55Speaker 1: At his phone pushing that.
- 21:57Speaker 3: Yes, it's it's all over the show. I don't think
- 22:01Speaker 3: I could operate one.
- 22:02Speaker 1: Well, what's he here for? He's looking at his phone.
- 22:04Speaker 1: He could be just keeping a walk and looking at
- 22:06Speaker 1: the Yeah, yeah, for good. I don't know. Man, bone,
- 22:10Speaker 1: huge backbone, royal blood. Just care.
- 22:16Speaker 3: You're welcome back, your messive backbone. You're listening to the
- 22:18Speaker 3: big show live from wind Dross Farm, a golf course.
- 22:22Speaker 3: I tell you what, it's really fun watching people play
- 22:25Speaker 3: golf while we're doing the show. But there is heaps
- 22:29Speaker 3: coming up after five o'clock, Fellows.
- 22:31Speaker 4: This certainly is Jace. I feel really bad and really
- 22:34Speaker 4: guilty about something I've done. But I know that you
- 22:36Speaker 4: know I haven't done it out of malice. It's just
- 22:38Speaker 4: I've forgotten, yes, And I just said, you guys are
- 22:40Speaker 4: reassured that I'm not a bad person.
- 22:42Speaker 1: That you know, people do make mistakes. Yeah, sure, yeah.
- 22:46Speaker 3: And I'm actually a little bit upset about something that
- 22:48Speaker 3: I want to talk to you fellas about as well.
- 22:50Speaker 3: We'll be doing that after the golf.
- 22:52Speaker 4: Man, it's not the fact that we lost the golf
- 22:54Speaker 4: now that I am upset about that as well.
- 22:57Speaker 2: Actually, Big Show with Jace, Mike and Key tune in
- 23:00Speaker 2: week days and four on Radio Hodach.
- 23:02Speaker 3: Hey, you're welcome back, your messive backbones. Hope you're getting
- 23:05Speaker 3: through hunt day tickety boo. You're listening to the Big Show,
- 23:08Speaker 3: brought to you by Rebig.
- 23:09Speaker 1: Gear Craig with his sheet food freshly made with Reburg Year.
- 23:14Speaker 3: I'm sort of missing the stings, fellers. Yeah, This is
- 23:16Speaker 3: the thing about doing an on site broadcast. Sometimes you
- 23:19Speaker 3: lose the little nuances of your show, like Patsan's magnificent
- 23:24Speaker 3: little reburger stings.
- 23:25Speaker 1: Never mind, mate, never mind, there's always tomorrow in the
- 23:28Speaker 1: next day.
- 23:28Speaker 3: Yeah, that's true.
- 23:29Speaker 1: A few weeks and we'll probably get to do a
- 23:30Speaker 1: few extras on the Breakfast Show. Oh yeah, we should
- 23:33Speaker 1: probably never know that.
- 23:34Speaker 4: We are doing this live from wind Ross Farm golf
- 23:36Speaker 4: Course in South Auckland, where Breakfast have beaten the Big
- 23:38Speaker 4: Show and as a result, once again we will be
- 23:40Speaker 4: covering their show December nineteenth, which is a Friday and
- 23:43Speaker 4: is the final Friday of the year that either show
- 23:45Speaker 4: will be broadcasting, so they get an extended holiday. I mean,
- 23:48Speaker 4: Jason is a man with negative ten days leave. How
- 23:52Speaker 4: does that make you feel?
- 23:53Speaker 5: Man?
- 23:53Speaker 3: Look like Moogi was saying, Mamogi, we had to take
- 24:00Speaker 3: it on. We had to front up and go all right,
- 24:02Speaker 3: let's do this. I'm guted, Yeah, I'm genuinely gutted. But
- 24:07Speaker 3: also on the flip side, I think about the listeners
- 24:10Speaker 3: out there, a whole day of Big Show. How good.
- 24:13Speaker 5: Yeah, they're going to be absolutely thrilled about it. I
- 24:15Speaker 5: feel nothing but great pride. I love having a crack.
- 24:19Speaker 5: You learn nothing. You learn nothing from not trying.
- 24:22Speaker 3: That's right.
- 24:23Speaker 5: You learn a lot more from your losses. You got
- 24:24Speaker 5: to get out there and give it a crack. So
- 24:26Speaker 5: I'm happy with that last when we go into twenty
- 24:28Speaker 5: twenty six with three humongous learning experiences having lost two
- 24:33Speaker 5: games of golf and a running race to the Breakfast Boys.
- 24:36Speaker 1: So the only way is up for next year? Phellas
- 24:38Speaker 1: can I just.
- 24:39Speaker 3: If you're just joining us? By the way, we lost
- 24:41Speaker 3: by one shot.
- 24:43Speaker 1: One shot we did, and it was a winner on
- 24:46Speaker 1: Team Breakfast. It wasn't even Jerry Orman and I. They
- 24:48Speaker 1: played terrible was the one of.
- 24:49Speaker 4: The winners Charlie who scored, who pretty much carried them apparently.
- 24:53Speaker 1: But let's not dwell and it fell. Let's let's play
- 24:55Speaker 1: some Metallica instead.
- 24:56Speaker 2: Oh yeah, The Hurdiarchy Big Show with Jason Hoyt, Mike
- 25:01Speaker 2: Minogue and.
- 25:02Speaker 3: Kissy Pixies there on the Radio Hodarchy Big Show this
- 25:06Speaker 3: Wednesday afternoon live from wind Draft Farm golf Course.
- 25:11Speaker 5: Fellas had a bit of an event the other night
- 25:13Speaker 5: on the Friday there of course, I've been along to
- 25:15Speaker 5: the New Zealand screen Awards. Hell of a night, Yeah, yeah.
- 25:20Speaker 5: All the local celebrities were out in force. It was
- 25:23Speaker 5: a great time, and we sort of wrapped it up
- 25:26Speaker 5: immediately at the conclusion of the ceremony, myself, my wife
- 25:29Speaker 5: and I made of mine there who was up from
- 25:31Speaker 5: the need, and we went home for a few bears
- 25:33Speaker 5: and to talk about the magic of the evening. And
- 25:36Speaker 5: my mate and I were standing outside there. I'm having
- 25:39Speaker 5: a few responsible bears and a few responsible cigarettes there.
- 25:44Speaker 4: I think the bears have to be responsible. But the
- 25:46Speaker 4: darts are okay, They're okay, you can okay, good.
- 25:50Speaker 5: And my daughter she sort of gets awoken by the
- 25:54Speaker 5: noise a little bit, and she hates been excluded from
- 25:56Speaker 5: a party. Yes, so she's gotten up a couple of
- 25:58Speaker 5: times and just hey, how again, And I'd taken her
- 26:02Speaker 5: to bed, and then the wife took it to bed,
- 26:03Speaker 5: and then she took it a bed, was gone a
- 26:08Speaker 5: couple of minutes and then came back out, and then
- 26:10Speaker 5: my daughter immediately followed. And it gets to a point
- 26:12Speaker 5: you'll know this, Jase, where the constant getting up gets
- 26:14Speaker 5: to a point.
- 26:15Speaker 1: Where you're a bit over it. You're done that.
- 26:17Speaker 5: We're explained it and for example, last night, my daughter
- 26:20Speaker 5: got up for the umptenth time and she came out
- 26:25Speaker 5: and she hit us with the setup for a joke, right,
- 26:29Speaker 5: not not trying to have any kind of conversations, just
- 26:34Speaker 5: literally hitting us with a setup for a joke as
- 26:36Speaker 5: a way to stay up longer.
- 26:38Speaker 1: So that's how it.
- 26:38Speaker 5: Was really good, but you can't encourage it. I liked it,
- 26:42Speaker 5: and I'll probably talk about that next week. But then
- 26:45Speaker 5: so she immediately got up again and we sort of sighed.
- 26:47Speaker 5: My wife went up and what's the strow? She goes, Oh,
- 26:49Speaker 5: there's something in my bed. The's sake in my bed.
- 26:51Speaker 5: It's like yeah, right, So the wife went in and
- 26:53Speaker 5: saw it out. Then my Maide and I continued talking
- 26:56Speaker 5: and then like a bit out of how my wife,
- 27:00Speaker 5: I've burst out the French doors there and launched something
- 27:05Speaker 5: off the balcony and it was a cockroach. So my
- 27:08Speaker 5: daughter had come out complaining that something was crawling on her.
- 27:11Speaker 1: Oh it sounded like a bit of a stretch and
- 27:14Speaker 1: you didn't believe it obviously, Well.
- 27:15Speaker 5: No, because that sort of stuff doesn't happen. But sure enough,
- 27:18Speaker 5: and it was a cockroach. But it's not one of
- 27:20Speaker 5: the what I believe in the German ones the house cockroaches.
- 27:23Speaker 5: It was a huge bastard, two and a half to
- 27:26Speaker 5: three inches long, absolutely massive. Now, my wife is not
- 27:30Speaker 5: like on the screen, she doesn't like that stuff at all,
- 27:34Speaker 5: but given our daughter was in imminent danger, she immediately
- 27:40Speaker 5: took her reaction to about an eleven on the Richter scale.
- 27:43Speaker 5: Came screaming out of the house and haft it off
- 27:46Speaker 5: the haft it off the side of the veranda.
- 27:48Speaker 3: There.
- 27:48Speaker 5: Now that I think created in my daughter sort of
- 27:52Speaker 5: a feeling that maybe this was something that she really
- 27:55Speaker 5: needed to.
- 27:55Speaker 1: Be scared of. Yes, have you ever had any experience
- 27:58Speaker 1: with that sort of thing with it?
- 28:00Speaker 3: We had an experience with my daughter, one of my girls,
- 28:02Speaker 3: who was twenty five mogi and she'd come back from overseas.
- 28:07Speaker 3: She was unpacking her bag from overseas and a cockroach
- 28:12Speaker 3: scurried out from her suitcase. She screamed like someone had
- 28:18Speaker 3: been murdered in front of her eyes. Like literally everyone
- 28:22Speaker 3: in the family went, oh my god, thinking something and
- 28:25Speaker 3: it was just a cockroach.
- 28:27Speaker 1: Yeah, is that all she packed for her overseas trip?
- 28:29Speaker 3: Yeah? Just one cockroach.
- 28:30Speaker 1: That's weird.
- 28:31Speaker 3: But there's something about cockroaches that freaks the living hell
- 28:35Speaker 3: out of people. That's what I've noticed. I like the
- 28:37Speaker 3: little critits.
- 28:38Speaker 1: Do you reckon? It's the name.
- 28:41Speaker 3: Possibly cockroach, you know what I mean?
- 28:43Speaker 4: Like, maybe we should rename them, rebrand them to something
- 28:46Speaker 4: that isn't as repulsive.
- 28:47Speaker 5: Yeah, they need they need to make a make over
- 28:50Speaker 5: with the marketing department, that's for sure.
- 28:52Speaker 1: You don't mind them.
- 28:53Speaker 3: Oh I love a cockroach.
- 28:54Speaker 2: Yeah, the whole archy Big Show was Jason, Mike and Kyzy.
- 28:58Speaker 1: Tune in on Radio.
- 29:01Speaker 3: Black Key's there on the Radio Hodarkey Big Show live
- 29:04Speaker 3: from wind Dross Farm Golf Course this beautiful Wednesday evening.
- 29:09Speaker 4: That's right, And if you've just joined us, we did
- 29:10Speaker 4: lose to the Breakfast Show, and now we are covering
- 29:12Speaker 4: their final show of the year, which is Friday, December nineteenth.
- 29:16Speaker 4: You will have the Big Show on in the morning
- 29:17Speaker 4: and in the afternoon as well.
- 29:19Speaker 3: By one shot.
- 29:20Speaker 1: No, no, we only just last.
- 29:21Speaker 4: But a loss is a last Jase, and we just
- 29:23Speaker 4: have to front up now when I head Admittedly, I
- 29:27Speaker 4: headed into work earlier this morning because I wanted to
- 29:30Speaker 4: jump in with them. Heading out south to wind Ross
- 29:32Speaker 4: Fum Golf Course, there was a little bit of a
- 29:34Speaker 4: rush because I'm used to rolling into work in the afternoon. Obviously, Well,
- 29:37Speaker 4: I was in my car and traffic I realized I
- 29:40Speaker 4: wasn't wearing my wedding ring. So not wearing my wedding ring,
- 29:44Speaker 4: and I've got a tan line on my finger where
- 29:46Speaker 4: my wedding ring usually is. And to be honest, I'm very,
- 29:48Speaker 4: very very good. I wear my wedding ring. You know,
- 29:51Speaker 4: out of thirty one days in a month, I reckon
- 29:53Speaker 4: i'd wear it's thirty days, right, I like wearing it,
- 29:57Speaker 4: but I always feel really guilty whenever I forget it.
- 30:00Speaker 4: So happens that today is a bit of a you know,
- 30:01Speaker 4: the whole team's going out to a new event and
- 30:03Speaker 4: there'll be heaps of people there and stuff, and I
- 30:05Speaker 4: feel guilty.
- 30:06Speaker 5: Is that thirty first day of the month where you
- 30:08Speaker 5: don't wear it? Is that always singles night down at
- 30:12Speaker 5: the local bar or ladies' night?
- 30:14Speaker 1: Uh No, not traditionally shagger's night shagars? Is that a thing?
- 30:18Speaker 3: Yes?
- 30:19Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 30:19Speaker 3: Have you never been to a Shaggar's night, Keezy?
- 30:22Speaker 1: No, I haven't been to a Shaggar's night, Jason.
- 30:25Speaker 4: But I always feel guilty, and it just so happens
- 30:27Speaker 4: that my wife knows. I said to her, how I
- 30:28Speaker 4: might end up taxing home after the show night because
- 30:31Speaker 4: we probably have a few beers to squash.
- 30:32Speaker 1: Yeah, blah blah blah.
- 30:33Speaker 3: She won't be there anyway, so I wouldn't worry.
- 30:35Speaker 4: She's just had squash last night, or right, she's not,
- 30:37Speaker 4: she'll be home tonight. But I always feel guilty, you know,
- 30:40Speaker 4: because it's like, I'm going to this event, there's going
- 30:42Speaker 4: to be people there, and I've left my wedding ring
- 30:44Speaker 4: at home.
- 30:44Speaker 3: Look, I think, Kesy, you know, I've been married for
- 30:47Speaker 3: over twenty years. I've never taken my wedding ring off
- 30:49Speaker 3: one It's just me. Yeah, you know, And I don't
- 30:53Speaker 3: know why you would, but can I weigh yes, Look,
- 30:57Speaker 3: I think that you know your wife hasn't been home
- 30:59Speaker 3: a lot lately. She's been out most nights.
- 31:02Speaker 4: Yeah, she plays touch ands and things.
- 31:06Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah, And I guess you could say it since
- 31:08Speaker 3: time of year or whatever. I think on an unconscious level,
- 31:12Speaker 3: you're making a statement.
- 31:13Speaker 1: Well, I'm not trying to.
- 31:14Speaker 4: I just forgot because I take my wedding ring off
- 31:16Speaker 4: whenever I have a shower, and I had it on
- 31:18Speaker 4: the base in there because I was putting wax in
- 31:21Speaker 4: my hair and I didn't want to get wax on
- 31:22Speaker 4: my wedding ring.
- 31:23Speaker 3: You know, right when you say wax, you mean said no.
- 31:27Speaker 1: I mean here wax. Don't start the tree set thing again.
- 31:31Speaker 4: And so I just but then I worry that she's
- 31:32Speaker 4: going to get home, She's going to see that i'
- 31:34Speaker 4: left it on the you know, the bathroom vanity.
- 31:36Speaker 1: I just don't want to get up. So, but to
- 31:37Speaker 1: be fair, we've been We're pretty secure, we've been together
- 31:39Speaker 1: a long time. She won't give a shit, right, I
- 31:41Speaker 1: wonder what is going on your hair?
- 31:42Speaker 5: Because, as you say, Jay, so you know I've been
- 31:44Speaker 5: married for you know, coming up ten years. I have
- 31:46Speaker 5: never taken my wedding ring off. Yeah, and I just
- 31:48Speaker 5: don't know why you would I take it off to.
- 31:51Speaker 3: Have a shower.
- 31:52Speaker 4: I think it's a hygiene thing. I don't want soap
- 31:54Speaker 4: scum and stuff underneath my underneath and like it because
- 31:57Speaker 4: it started peeling.
- 31:58Speaker 1: It's an absolute none issue.
- 31:59Speaker 5: The whay you get that peel is just because your
- 32:03Speaker 5: body resists the fact that you're newly married. In overtime,
- 32:06Speaker 5: because I had the same thing, you would get a
- 32:08Speaker 5: skin peel right underneath the rest early doors, and then
- 32:11Speaker 5: over time your skin just toughens up.
- 32:14Speaker 3: I don't even have any skin under my wedding ring.
- 32:16Speaker 3: It's just on bone.
- 32:18Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 32:18Speaker 4: Your wedding ring's quite munted. Actually it's quite it's really
- 32:22Speaker 4: misshapen and sort. It doesn't really work, do you reckond
- 32:25Speaker 4: a wedding ring represents like a marriage in a way.
- 32:27Speaker 3: It's flat on the bottom the akizi as you can see.
- 32:30Speaker 3: And that's that's deliberate.
- 32:32Speaker 1: You flattened it.
- 32:33Speaker 3: I did at some point, I can't remember when, but
- 32:35Speaker 3: that's because I never take it off.
- 32:37Speaker 1: Yes, right, okay, yeah, I don't know.
- 32:39Speaker 3: Man.
- 32:39Speaker 5: If you I'm worried about ever leaving your wedding ring
- 32:42Speaker 5: behind because you've taken it off, maybe don't take it off.
- 32:45Speaker 1: Yeah shit, that's good advice, mate. Yeah.
- 32:48Speaker 2: The Hurdarchy Big Show with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue and Kesey.
- 32:53Speaker 3: Red Chili Pepper's there on the Radio Hodarky Big Show
- 32:59Speaker 3: live from wind Dry Farm golf Course. Actually, funnily enough, fellas,
- 33:04Speaker 3: I was just going up for a vape in the
- 33:05Speaker 3: in the songs there and one of the old vocals.
- 33:08Speaker 1: But yeah, or the.
- 33:10Speaker 3: End was it. And one of the locals who's irregularly here,
- 33:13Speaker 3: this is his home course, he came out to me
- 33:15Speaker 3: and he said made your hair yeah, And I said yeah,
- 33:18Speaker 3: and he said, oh, well we were. We were playing
- 33:20Speaker 3: behind you fellas, and they told us that you were
- 33:23Speaker 3: You were pretty shith house. So we thought we were
- 33:25Speaker 3: going to be bloody slow a's but you were miles
- 33:27Speaker 3: ahead of us. Good on you, mate, good on you.
- 33:29Speaker 3: So I mean we can take something out of the day,
- 33:32Speaker 3: can't we.
- 33:33Speaker 4: If you're going to suck suck quickly, yes, parts yeah,
- 33:37Speaker 4: it's like a family motto.
- 33:39Speaker 3: But the thing they're going to suck, suck hard, suck.
- 33:42Speaker 3: It had.
- 33:47Speaker 1: Fellas that something that I thought of.
- 33:50Speaker 4: Was because we lost by one stroke, yes, And to
- 33:54Speaker 4: be honest, there was one part that I sank, but
- 33:55Speaker 4: we were idiots.
- 33:56Speaker 1: We didn't take the flag out. It hit the pole
- 33:58Speaker 1: and bounced back out again.
- 33:59Speaker 4: If I had sunk that, if we're taking the flag out,
- 34:01Speaker 4: it would have been a draw. And I was changing
- 34:03Speaker 4: to Jerry and I A and there. It would have
- 34:05Speaker 4: been cool if there was a draw, because we would
- 34:06Speaker 4: have gone to like a put off or a sudden
- 34:08Speaker 4: death or something and I was like, My attitude was, no,
- 34:11Speaker 4: the bit is off.
- 34:12Speaker 1: We drew.
- 34:12Speaker 4: We're doing our own shows. I'm not doing any extra work.
- 34:15Speaker 4: You do your show, We'll do ours. End of story, Right,
- 34:18Speaker 4: How do you guys feel about that?
- 34:20Speaker 1: You got to go for it?
- 34:21Speaker 3: I would have backed to nail.
- 34:24Speaker 5: The pack, the one hole away from from overturning a
- 34:29Speaker 5: litany of various errors throughout this year. We were just
- 34:32Speaker 5: taken loss after loss.
- 34:33Speaker 1: Now after the lost one exactly.
- 34:35Speaker 5: But you had an opportunity there to to take a win,
- 34:38Speaker 5: So I think you probably have to go to an
- 34:40Speaker 5: extra hole, wouldn't you.
- 34:41Speaker 3: Yeah? I would have been into.
- 34:42Speaker 5: That downstairs and the cumulative length determine who the winner
- 34:48Speaker 5: was because a competition.
- 34:50Speaker 4: Because obviously Jason's, as he wants us to believe, is
- 34:53Speaker 4: running a huge downstairs operation. And I know for a
- 34:56Speaker 4: fact that Jerry and and I both have tiny chose.
- 34:59Speaker 3: A little button mush rooms?
- 35:00Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, well no, I've got a button mushroom. Oh,
- 35:02Speaker 4: I've got tiny chads and you've got a huge piece.
- 35:05Speaker 3: I've got a field mushroom.
- 35:07Speaker 1: Yeah, you've got it. What is the longest mushroom?
- 35:10Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 35:10Speaker 1: A lion's made o lions made?
- 35:12Speaker 3: What about what about a.
- 35:13Speaker 4: Noise oyster mushroom Chitucky. We can sit here all days
- 35:19Speaker 4: about what size mushrooms and stuff. But my attitude would
- 35:22Speaker 4: have been so because your thing is like, if you've
- 35:24Speaker 4: got a chance, you've got to go for it.
- 35:25Speaker 3: Oh yeah, totally.
- 35:26Speaker 5: You're thinking about the lost key. I'm thinking about I'm
- 35:28Speaker 5: thinking about the glory always. You have to think about
- 35:30Speaker 5: what happens if you win, you get you get the
- 35:32Speaker 5: you don't get any yans if you go.
- 35:34Speaker 1: Now I'm more.
- 35:34Speaker 3: Good, and I'm thinking redemption. Yes, you know what i mean.
- 35:38Speaker 3: I'm thinking victory. I'm going to be lying on the
- 35:40Speaker 3: beach with my lions main fat to us and all summer.
- 35:45Speaker 3: It's going to bug me. It's going to be like
- 35:46Speaker 3: a little people under my blanket, under my you know
- 35:52Speaker 3: the fact that we just didn't quite nail it this year.
- 35:55Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, right, Okay.
- 35:57Speaker 4: See My attitude is that, you guys, probably he would
- 36:00Speaker 4: be terrible at the poke's or in a gambling situation
- 36:02Speaker 4: because you just think of what would happen if you win.
- 36:05Speaker 4: But you're not always going to mate. You're just going
- 36:08Speaker 4: to make it worse for yourself.
- 36:09Speaker 5: The Queen of the Nile is yet to let me down, Keysy,
- 36:12Speaker 5: whereas you have let me down three times putting money
- 36:15Speaker 5: in hog and I'll stop.
- 36:18Speaker 1: His Velvet Revolver.
- 36:20Speaker 2: The Hllarchy Big Show was Jason, Mike and Keyzy tune
- 36:23Speaker 2: in on radio.
- 36:26Speaker 3: Is indeed Velvet Revolver there on the radio Hodlarky Big Show,
- 36:30Speaker 3: this beautiful Wednesday evening live from wind Dross Farm golf
- 36:34Speaker 3: Course and fellows. I wanted to talk to you about
- 36:39Speaker 3: telling this it's been bugging me.
- 36:41Speaker 1: There was a massive pause, by the way, three or
- 36:44Speaker 1: four seconds.
- 36:44Speaker 3: I know, I know because I was just sort of
- 36:47Speaker 3: going through it in my head. You'll know that I've
- 36:49Speaker 3: been filming lately, uh, and yesterday was my last day.
- 36:54Speaker 3: And what happens when you film and it's your last
- 36:56Speaker 3: day on set, what they'll do at the end of
- 36:59Speaker 3: your last scene, as they'll say to the entire crew, there,
- 37:04Speaker 3: okay everyone, that's the scene. Also, that's a picture shoot
- 37:09Speaker 3: for Jason Hoyd, a picture rap for Jason Hoyt. I
- 37:13Speaker 3: E that's the last scene I'm doing on this show.
- 37:16Speaker 3: And everyone claps and cheers and people hug you and
- 37:20Speaker 3: thanks mate. You were awesome. You were you were huge,
- 37:24Speaker 3: and that had been happening throughout the day with various
- 37:27Speaker 3: other actors, and so I had my picture rap yesterday.
- 37:31Speaker 3: The scene finished. That's the end of the scene. Also
- 37:34Speaker 3: a picture rap for Hoidy j or Jason Hoyt. And
- 37:38Speaker 3: no one.
- 37:38Speaker 1: Clapped, right, so they said it, but.
- 37:42Speaker 3: No one clapped. Not only that, they all just wandered
- 37:46Speaker 3: off and I was standing on the set and they
- 37:48Speaker 3: turned the lights off, and so I was literally standing
- 37:52Speaker 3: there by myself. No one sort of came up to
- 37:55Speaker 3: me and said, yeah, great work made, or shook my hand,
- 37:58Speaker 3: and you know a lot of people hug Yeah, there
- 38:00Speaker 3: were no hugs or anything like that. And I, I mean,
- 38:03Speaker 3: I know that I'm probably overthinking it, but it sort
- 38:05Speaker 3: of filled me with a slightly bad vibe, you know
- 38:07Speaker 3: what I mean.
- 38:08Speaker 5: Well, look, that is odd. I've been on you know,
- 38:11Speaker 5: many A shooters as well as you have, Jason. I
- 38:14Speaker 5: have never experienced that where there is just complete silence,
- 38:19Speaker 5: and especially in your case, because as we know.
- 38:21Speaker 1: You're a you're a prickly character. On set.
- 38:25Speaker 5: You don't like wardrobe game anywhere near you, to make adjustments,
- 38:28Speaker 5: you don't like makeup coming and to make touch ups.
- 38:31Speaker 5: You don't like filming, you don't like exactly, you don't
- 38:33Speaker 5: like you don't like repeat takes, you don't like other
- 38:37Speaker 5: people having their.
- 38:38Speaker 1: Turn to do this.
- 38:39Speaker 5: Yeah, exactly right. So given that you don't like any
- 38:43Speaker 5: of those things. Look, mate, it's an odd one.
- 38:48Speaker 4: It's just just because I've never obviously been on a
- 38:50Speaker 4: film shoot or anything like that.
- 38:51Speaker 3: But I'm trying. Key, but boy, it's hard work.
- 38:55Speaker 1: If if you do rap.
- 38:57Speaker 4: Let's say so Moggi for example, when you wrapped on
- 39:00Speaker 4: and it's say the last episode of Willing to Paranormal
- 39:02Speaker 4: Office the Moogi, how long does that sort of you know,
- 39:05Speaker 4: like applause usually go for so in your circumstances.
- 39:08Speaker 5: Well, in my case it went for so long because
- 39:11Speaker 5: there's still a couple of scenes theft they had to
- 39:12Speaker 5: shoot over time.
- 39:14Speaker 1: The applause went for so long.
- 39:15Speaker 5: The applause, the crying, there were three huckers wow that
- 39:22Speaker 5: were performed. It was Yeah, it can go for quite
- 39:25Speaker 5: some time. They bring in gifts of as well. I
- 39:29Speaker 5: was gifted a poor number from from the from the
- 39:32Speaker 5: cast and crew, and that was that was pretty special.
- 39:35Speaker 5: Oh look, I mean when you're when you're in that
- 39:37Speaker 5: kind of environment. CAZy, it's like another family.
- 39:40Speaker 1: It really is your your you're forged together.
- 39:43Speaker 5: There's long hours, it's intense working environment, and as a
- 39:47Speaker 5: result of that, you you really do feel like a family.
- 39:49Speaker 5: And so when somebody is finished, it's like you're losing
- 39:52Speaker 5: a family. It's they're going away to university or something
- 39:55Speaker 5: like that.
- 39:55Speaker 1: So people feel it deeply.
- 39:56Speaker 4: And so and how many seasons of Will Into Paranormal
- 39:59Speaker 4: were there? There's four four seasons, right, So you worked
- 40:01Speaker 4: on that show for four years, this particular production, Jay,
- 40:03Speaker 4: So how long have you been a part of it?
- 40:05Speaker 3: I mean for this particular it was ten days. Yeah,
- 40:10Speaker 3: but you know there was there was one young lady
- 40:12Speaker 3: that had been filming on it for a day and
- 40:14Speaker 3: then she wrapped as well, and she got huge kisses
- 40:17Speaker 3: and hugs. Yeah, they even gave her a speaking of presents,
- 40:20Speaker 3: some sort of cast present. Yes, I didn't get any
- 40:23Speaker 3: of that stuff. And you know, I was like, what,
- 40:26Speaker 3: I'm sure it was just an oversight. You know, I'm
- 40:29Speaker 3: sure that everyone had an oversight. Every one of the crew,
- 40:32Speaker 3: like fifty people, they just you know, were trying to
- 40:35Speaker 3: they're under the gun. Mind you, they were actually running
- 40:37Speaker 3: on time. But do you know, I mean, I know
- 40:41Speaker 3: that I overthink these things and it was nothing, and
- 40:43Speaker 3: that they loved me, that it was a special thing
- 40:46Speaker 3: for them to get to film with Ady j the Legend.
- 40:50Speaker 3: So look, I was overthinking it my bed. Yeah they
- 40:55Speaker 3: love me. I'm cool. People love working with me.
- 40:59Speaker 4: Yeah, you don't think this is just a theory. And
- 41:01Speaker 4: I don't know, right, you don't think you like did
- 41:04Speaker 4: a bad job. You don't think it was that.
- 41:07Speaker 3: I don't think so.
- 41:08Speaker 2: Kesy The Hodarchy Big Show with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue and.
- 41:13Speaker 3: Kesy Indeed, welcome back your massive backbones. You're listening to

- 41:34Speaker 4: there's something I need to I wouldn't say it's a
- 41:36Speaker 4: bone to pick.
- 41:37Speaker 1: I just think I.
- 41:37Speaker 4: Need to have a word with you about something that
- 41:41Speaker 4: has been It's been bugging me a wee bit and
- 41:44Speaker 4: it happened again today on the golf course. All right,
- 41:46Speaker 4: so does golf course related and we just need to
- 41:48Speaker 4: square something. I just did to clear the air just
- 41:51Speaker 4: so that next time we can go out there and
- 41:52Speaker 4: have an even better game.
- 41:53Speaker 1: If that's okay, sure me in no worries.
- 41:56Speaker 3: I think I know what it is, and I'm very
- 41:58Speaker 3: much looking forward to that chat because I have a
- 42:01Speaker 3: massive bone to pick.

- 42:34Speaker 3: I might get a bit of reburg gyear. Oh yeah,
- 42:36Speaker 3: you know what I mean. I'm in a little bit pickaged.
- 42:38Speaker 3: It's just what you get after a round of golf,
- 42:40Speaker 3: you get hungers done.
- 42:41Speaker 5: Yeah you do, mate, Let us know I'm prepared to
- 42:45Speaker 5: put fifty bucks on you.
- 42:46Speaker 1: Not doing it.
- 42:47Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm okay to double that, are you?
- 42:51Speaker 3: What? What do you? Fellows say?
- 42:53Speaker 4: Well, I think Jason, you like to go on here
- 42:55Speaker 4: and say you're having Reburg year every single day and stuff.
- 42:58Speaker 1: But I don't actually believe.
- 43:00Speaker 3: Single day can.
- 43:01Speaker 1: I think Rebier year deserve better than that.
- 43:03Speaker 3: Sure, So if I got re big gear tonight, he'll
- 43:08Speaker 3: pay me a hundred bucks. Keezy and Mogie, you'll pay
- 43:11Speaker 3: me fifty, and they will.
- 43:12Speaker 1: Pay you fifty, and I'll pay you fifty.
- 43:14Speaker 3: Now you said I'll go double.
- 43:16Speaker 4: I'll double that as an old added fifty to double
- 43:18Speaker 4: it and make it one hundred.
- 43:21Speaker 1: Man still one hundred.
- 43:22Speaker 4: But look even he's still thinking about it, because that
- 43:25Speaker 4: is how much money Jase has.
- 43:26Speaker 1: That one hundred dollars is like a drop on the
- 43:28Speaker 1: ocean for him.
- 43:29Speaker 3: Yeah, Hey, ne Lissen plenty coming up in this hour,
- 43:33Speaker 3: by the way, including Keezy. He's got a bone to
- 43:37Speaker 3: pick with old Hoidy j on the golf course again.
- 43:39Speaker 3: Here we go, Here we go. That'll be coming up probably.
- 43:42Speaker 1: It is coming up next.
- 43:43Speaker 4: We'll also have a chat to Andrew, who is the
- 43:45Speaker 4: head of wind Ross Farm golf Course and has run
- 43:48Speaker 4: several golf courses all around the world.
- 43:50Speaker 3: Wow, I didn't know that.
- 43:51Speaker 1: Very interesting.
- 43:52Speaker 4: Yeah yeah, But in the meantime, Fellas, I was thinking
- 43:54Speaker 4: we could go into some soundguard and what do you reckon?
- 43:56Speaker 3: It sounds good to me.
- 43:56Speaker 2: Kezy Hohodikey Big Show with Jasonoint, Mike Minogue.

- 44:13Speaker 4: to play. We did lose to the Breakfast Show today
- 44:15Speaker 4: with us by one stroke and as a result we
- 44:17Speaker 4: are covering the final show of the year for them.
- 44:19Speaker 4: They get an extra day's holiday and we get to
- 44:22Speaker 4: an extra show on the final day of the year,
- 44:24Speaker 4: which is Friday, December nineteenth.
- 44:27Speaker 1: Now, the way this tournament worked is it was Ambrose.
- 44:29Speaker 4: It was two winners and myself and Hoidy j up
- 44:32Speaker 4: against two Breakfast winners and Jeremy Wells and Minia Stewart.
- 44:36Speaker 1: And we started off really well, didn't we.
- 44:37Speaker 3: Jace, Yeah, we're pretty similar that thank Keith. Yeah, well,
- 44:40Speaker 3: I think we were pretty solid the whole round.
- 44:42Speaker 4: We were we were we parted the first hole, which
- 44:45Speaker 4: is really good. We then birdie the second one, part
- 44:47Speaker 4: the third hole, and then we had a bogey eventually
- 44:50Speaker 4: somewhere in there, which is when Jace your form of
- 44:53Speaker 4: encouragement switched from being like this is great, guys, you
- 44:56Speaker 4: know this, We're going really good.
- 44:57Speaker 1: This is great to hey, guys, we should try.
- 45:00Speaker 4: And get a birdie here and just really putting the
- 45:03Speaker 4: pressure on where and you know that I will fold
- 45:05Speaker 4: under that pressure. And you turned it on to come on, Kezy,
- 45:08Speaker 4: a birdie. Come on, Keezy, a really big drive, nice
- 45:11Speaker 4: and straight man, Come on, Keezy, do it for the team, Kezy,
- 45:14Speaker 4: all this pressure and then when I fold and we
- 45:17Speaker 4: end up covering breakfast and like, I'm not saying it's
- 45:19Speaker 4: one hundred percent your fault, it's ninety percent my fault,
- 45:21Speaker 4: but I need you to be like, Kezy, I don't
- 45:24Speaker 4: care what happens.
- 45:24Speaker 1: Man, I love you regardless, you know.
- 45:26Speaker 3: Oh look, I love you regardless. Now, Moggie, can I
- 45:28Speaker 3: correct the record here please? I was like I had
- 45:32Speaker 3: a feeling that they were, you know, doing pretty well,
- 45:34Speaker 3: and it was like, encourage a team. Let's go for
- 45:37Speaker 3: a boodie here. Fellers is so hard. And I said
- 45:40Speaker 3: to Kesy and I quote, you got this, Keysy straight
- 45:44Speaker 3: down the guts, mate, Yeah, that's what I said.
- 45:46Speaker 1: Money went on.
- 45:49Speaker 3: This is why I fold. I mean he hadn't paid
- 45:51Speaker 3: one straight down the guts all day. So I don't know.
- 45:54Speaker 3: I don't know why me encouraging him makes it any different.
- 45:57Speaker 3: It was meant purely is encouragement. You got this, you're
- 46:01Speaker 3: going to send it down the gaps.
- 46:03Speaker 1: Well, you're there to encourage your teammates.
- 46:05Speaker 5: I would have thought the alternative there would have then say,
- 46:08Speaker 5: I don't bagger it out, don't eff up Keysy going
- 46:10Speaker 5: through a shocking bastard.
- 46:14Speaker 1: You didn't do that.
- 46:15Speaker 5: No, you're trying to be the wind beneath his wings.
- 46:18Speaker 5: Keysy is trying to be there for you, brother, He's
- 46:20Speaker 5: trying to support you.
- 46:21Speaker 3: I believe in you, man, and I'm trying to support.
- 46:23Speaker 1: Against all the evidence. He believes in you.
- 46:26Speaker 3: They will never give up on you, Key fight. The
- 46:30Speaker 3: evidence to the contry just.
- 46:32Speaker 1: A litany of errors throughout the year. I don't need
- 46:35Speaker 1: wind beneath my wings. I want to fly in a
- 46:38Speaker 1: completely windless environment.
- 46:40Speaker 4: I just want to be able to just fly normally,
- 46:42Speaker 4: no pressure here or there or anyway, and that's when
- 46:45Speaker 4: I fly best. So whichever wherever the wind is coming from.
- 46:49Speaker 3: So you want me to be silent, but I don't want.
- 46:51Speaker 1: You to be silent.
- 46:51Speaker 4: I want you to just be like, hey, fellas, as
- 46:53Speaker 4: you know, I have to do a good shot, that's great,
- 46:55Speaker 4: all good. If I do a bad shot hard like
- 46:57Speaker 4: Kezy Org instead of cussing me out and swearing afterwards, Bogy.
- 47:07Speaker 4: I didn't want to say, but he was a shocking
- 47:11Speaker 4: It was terrible.
- 47:12Speaker 3: That is palpably untrue. I can't but I'm disgusted.
- 47:18Speaker 2: The whole Archy Big Show was Jason, Mike and Kyzy
- 47:21Speaker 2: tune in.
- 47:24Speaker 3: Queens of the stone Age there on the radio Hot
- 47:26Speaker 3: Archy Big Show This gorgeous Wednesday evening live from wind
- 47:31Speaker 3: Ross Farm Golf Club. It is an absolutely stunning course.
- 47:36Speaker 3: We had the pleasure of playing it today, of course,
- 47:38Speaker 3: and we've got the general manager of said course, Andrew
- 47:41Speaker 3: yamaan bastard. How's life?
- 47:43Speaker 1: No budget? So how's it going?
- 47:44Speaker 3: Yeah, very good, thanks mate, Absolutely love the course. I
- 47:48Speaker 3: was having a chat to one of your regular members
- 47:51Speaker 3: out there and apparently you were telling him that we
- 47:53Speaker 3: were shithouse at golf and that we were going to
- 47:56Speaker 3: take ages to complete nine holes. Is that true?
- 47:59Speaker 1: Andrewsolutely. I said, get these boys off as soon as
- 48:02Speaker 1: you come. It's absolutely horrendous. Yeah. No, no, no, seriously, no,
- 48:05Speaker 1: all good, it's all good. Andrew is am I picking
- 48:09Speaker 1: up an Australian. Excellent there man?
- 48:11Speaker 7: Yeah, yeah, Brisbane actually yeah, South Brisbane. No, I'm from Scotland,
- 48:15Speaker 7: the regional.
- 48:17Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah. Now the Felmows were saying, and I think
- 48:20Speaker 3: it was Keysy was telling. I mean, this isn't the
- 48:21Speaker 3: first place that you've managed in terms of golf courses.
- 48:24Speaker 3: Where else have you been around the world? Oh?
- 48:26Speaker 1: God, Spain? Oh managing a Spanish golf course?
- 48:33Speaker 7: Hang on, I've been in Spain. I've been in the
- 48:35Speaker 7: Middle East. I was in Dubai.
- 48:37Speaker 1: I have been in Shanghai in China as well.
- 48:40Speaker 7: Wow, looking South Auckland, I tell you what, Papakura Golf Center.
- 48:45Speaker 1: Baby, No, no, it's no, it's it's all good. It's yeah.
- 48:49Speaker 1: I've been around the world. Yes, it's been good.
- 48:50Speaker 4: So you know, and what makes you you know, why
- 48:52Speaker 4: aren't you still in Spain? Why an't you still in Shanghai?
- 48:54Speaker 4: What was it the about the allure of the Cleveland
- 48:57Speaker 4: South Auckland region.
- 48:58Speaker 7: I just really love Paie mate, I mentioned cheese reason.
- 49:04Speaker 7: I've never had pis like that in my life.
- 49:06Speaker 1: Rightly, and so I was worth uprooting and coming down
- 49:08Speaker 1: to New Zealand just for that. Absolutely.
- 49:10Speaker 3: Yeah, I'll tell you what, mate, it's an absolutely beautiful course.
- 49:15Speaker 3: How many sort of members are you're talking about here
- 49:17Speaker 3: on this particular course.
- 49:18Speaker 7: We're just under eight hundreds, okay, yeah, fairly busy please, yes, yeah,
- 49:22Speaker 7: very busy.
- 49:23Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 49:23Speaker 4: Yeah, And like how many is the dream amount for you?
- 49:27Speaker 4: Or the dream amount it would be twenty thousand, Well.
- 49:31Speaker 7: Yeah, twenty thousand and four pin Yeah, no, No, we're steady.
- 49:36Speaker 1: We're very steady.
- 49:37Speaker 4: Because you don't want too many though, right, you don't
- 49:39Speaker 4: want people to not be able to get on, but
- 49:40Speaker 4: you want enough to sort of. Yeah, So you're in
- 49:42Speaker 4: a bit of a sweet spot at the moment.
- 49:43Speaker 1: Yeah, we are. That's exactly where we're at. Yeah. Yeah,
- 49:46Speaker 1: And I know Pugs are our producer. Pugs.
- 49:48Speaker 4: He's been about an hour or so out there disgracing
- 49:50Speaker 4: himself on the driving range, which I believe is brand new.
- 49:53Speaker 4: It's got the screens, it's got the shot tracer and
- 49:55Speaker 4: all that stuff. And I believe you're taking the credit
- 49:58Speaker 4: for bringing that here.
- 50:00Speaker 7: I certainly am so. Yeah, we redeveloped the range. We've
- 50:03Speaker 7: just done a whole redevelopments or brand new, brand brand
- 50:06Speaker 7: new balls, brand new mats, top trace of technology. You
- 50:10Speaker 7: can have drinks, you can do whatever you want done.
- 50:12Speaker 7: Then just have just have a great time.
- 50:13Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 50:13Speaker 5: Right, So is it available to only members or is
- 50:17Speaker 5: it the sort of thing you can come out here
- 50:20Speaker 5: a whole group of mates, dressed like absolute animals, drink
- 50:24Speaker 5: fifty beers and just like yourself at home.
- 50:27Speaker 1: You've nailed it.
- 50:28Speaker 4: Absolutely, you can come out as a casual and get
- 50:31Speaker 4: stuck into that.
- 50:32Speaker 1: That's what we want.
- 50:33Speaker 7: We want everyone to come and Joe golf, loan golf,
- 50:35Speaker 7: play golf, have fun.
- 50:36Speaker 1: Yeah, that's what we want.
- 50:37Speaker 3: Just on that front, Andrew, I mean, how are you
- 50:39Speaker 3: as a golfer?
- 50:41Speaker 1: I used to be good? Yeah, but what does that mean? Yeah?
- 50:44Speaker 3: We all used to be good.
- 50:46Speaker 1: I never was.
- 50:46Speaker 3: You know, that's true. What sort of handicap you're running?
- 50:50Speaker 1: I don't have one, right, but if you had to estimate,
- 50:55Speaker 1: what would you say? Would it be single figures. Yes, yeah,
- 50:58Speaker 1: that's really really really similar to me. And what's it?
- 51:02Speaker 1: What is it like?
- 51:03Speaker 4: You know, for example, when you say you're in a
- 51:05Speaker 4: golf course in Spain, what are they doing in Spain.
- 51:07Speaker 1: Compared to here? Like is there a caref of sangria
- 51:10Speaker 1: at halfway? Is that sort of thing that does?
- 51:12Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 51:12Speaker 7: Loads of sangria pala and you just yeah, you play
- 51:15Speaker 7: golf in the sunshine and yes, it's amazing.
- 51:18Speaker 1: Ye, that is the dream.
- 51:19Speaker 3: That is your dream job, Jase, that would ultimately be
- 51:22Speaker 3: my dream job. Now, Andrew, where are your place right now?
- 51:26Speaker 3: If people are going, geez, I'm in this sort of area,
- 51:28Speaker 3: I want to get into the golf. Yeah, open to
- 51:31Speaker 3: sort of people signing up. What's the story?
- 51:33Speaker 7: Yeah, listen, we've actually we've just lost a new things.
- 51:36Speaker 7: So this summer we've got the Summer Pass and basically
- 51:39Speaker 7: we're run. We're run a promotion anytime after two o'clock
- 51:44Speaker 7: as as you know, you can come and join and
- 51:47Speaker 7: you can play unlimited golf any day of the week
- 51:49Speaker 7: after two.
- 51:50Speaker 1: Yeah, there's plenty of time. Yeah.
- 51:52Speaker 7: So what's happened is a lot of people the finishing
- 51:54Speaker 7: work or you know, there's nothing to do in the afternoon,
- 51:57Speaker 7: let's go play golf, and that's what we've just launched.
- 52:00Speaker 1: It's been really successful.
- 52:01Speaker 7: So that's that launched about two weeks ago and we've
- 52:05Speaker 7: already had like fifteen sixteen sign up. It's only thirty spots,
- 52:09Speaker 7: so get in quick, you know. So I see your
- 52:11Speaker 7: eyes or not. I think you're forgetting about the fact
- 52:13Speaker 7: that you've got a drive show. That's sort of right
- 52:15Speaker 7: the afternoon there.
- 52:16Speaker 3: Yeah, well you know there's a lot of water to
- 52:19Speaker 3: go under there. Well no, Andrew, seriously, mate, it's been
- 52:24Speaker 3: an absolute pleasure. It's a beautiful course. It's a beautiful course,
- 52:28Speaker 3: greens fiercely quick.
- 52:30Speaker 1: Maybe do you want to slow them down a bit?
- 52:32Speaker 3: You give you put a bit of water on them?
- 52:33Speaker 3: Maybe on Bloody Glass.
- 52:36Speaker 7: I know.
- 52:36Speaker 1: The thing is my superintendent.
- 52:38Speaker 7: I think he's quite volatile to people and that he
- 52:41Speaker 7: likes them to not enjoy it. So yeah, so we
- 52:45Speaker 7: just run it really, really hard, really fast.
- 52:48Speaker 1: That's what we do.
- 52:48Speaker 4: Bloody Hey, Andrew, GM and wind Ross Farm Golf Course.
- 52:52Speaker 1: Do you like Lenny Kravitz?
- 52:54Speaker 5: I do.
- 52:55Speaker 1: That's really right. You're in luck.
- 52:57Speaker 2: Check it on the Hurdiarchy Big Show with Aason Hoyt,
- 53:00Speaker 2: Mike Minogue and Kissy.
- 53:02Speaker 3: Ac DC there on the radio. Hodankey Big Show Live
- 53:06Speaker 3: from Winddrafs Farm golf Club. But fellas, I think we
- 53:10Speaker 3: should give out some advice.
- 53:19Speaker 4: Gmail dot com, get a get in touch with the fowlers.
- 53:24Speaker 4: What I love about this is that you guys are
- 53:26Speaker 4: singing there in a golf club, country club on a
- 53:30Speaker 4: Wednesday afternoon. There's a whole lot of old fellows turning
- 53:32Speaker 4: around and looking at the weird guys singing in the corner.
- 53:34Speaker 1: Meet Petty Nips sixty nine. They know exactly what that is.
- 53:40Speaker 3: Some filthy bastards here.
- 53:42Speaker 4: I can tell there's a there's a really a mail address.
- 53:45Speaker 4: It is Meet Petty Nips sixty nine at gmail dot com.
- 53:47Speaker 4: If you need advice on anything, get in touch. It's
- 53:49Speaker 4: one hundred percent anonymous and you can win a fifty
- 53:51Speaker 4: dollars Reburg about you. This one comes in feelers from
- 53:54Speaker 4: anonymous anonymous female.
- 53:56Speaker 3: Oh okay, good, get a big show.
- 54:00Speaker 4: I'm one of the eight backbone women who listen to
- 54:03Speaker 4: your show. I want advice on how I could get
- 54:06Speaker 4: my mates to listen in Too very Good. Maybe if
- 54:10Speaker 4: Jace could lie about being younger, that would give the
- 54:12Speaker 4: show a younger, hipper edge, or perhaps Tony could have
- 54:15Speaker 4: his own segment.
- 54:16Speaker 1: Ladies love a bad boy, cool cheers.
- 54:19Speaker 4: So anonymous female trying to figure out a way to
- 54:21Speaker 4: convince other females her mates to listen to our show.
- 54:24Speaker 5: Right, and Tony, that's you, Keys when you've got your
- 54:27Speaker 5: Tony denim jacket on your audio visual jacket. Yeah, and
- 54:32Speaker 5: you could have your own segment, because Tony is a
- 54:34Speaker 5: bad boy.
- 54:35Speaker 1: He's got a denim jacket.
- 54:37Speaker 4: I do have my own segment. It's what's on the
- 54:38Speaker 4: dinner or is it what's on the tea with me dinner?
- 54:41Speaker 4: I can't remember what it's called. But I already have
- 54:43Speaker 4: my own segment. And I don't know if that's working
- 54:45Speaker 4: to get a cooler, younger edge. I think it's always
- 54:47Speaker 4: doing the opposite.
- 54:49Speaker 3: Did I get the gist right? Here? Was she saying
- 54:51Speaker 3: that I was old?
- 54:52Speaker 1: No?
- 54:52Speaker 3: She may she.
- 54:53Speaker 5: I think she was saying that if you were even
- 54:56Speaker 5: even younger. Yeah, because what about what's on the cleaning
- 55:00Speaker 5: the house with me? Keysy or Tony? Well, I don't
- 55:04Speaker 5: understand what would that do? Well, you want to do
- 55:06Speaker 5: things that really interest people that core audience member and
- 55:13Speaker 5: so I think the one thing that is missing on
- 55:14Speaker 5: the Big Show is we don't do any cleaning chat.
- 55:16Speaker 4: We can't just start doing cleaning chat to appeal to females.
- 55:19Speaker 4: Is that what you suggest it?
- 55:20Speaker 5: That is absolutely not what I'm suggesting. And I think
- 55:23Speaker 5: it's shocking that you automatically assumed. That's shocking me. You're
- 55:26Speaker 5: a shocking bars. We wouldn't it be handy keysy if
- 55:30Speaker 5: people could tune in and find out how to get
- 55:33Speaker 5: stains out of their clothes, for.
- 55:36Speaker 3: Example, couldn't agree more and you know, at the same time,
- 55:39Speaker 3: we could save people money as well, you know, in
- 55:42Speaker 3: terms of cleaning. For example, Magie, you gonna have a
- 55:45Speaker 3: little hack.
- 55:45Speaker 1: Like lemon juice, thank you, you know what I mean?
- 55:47Speaker 3: Club soda, Club soda. When my brother lived. When my
- 55:52Speaker 3: brother lived, I think it was in the Philippines. The
- 55:55Speaker 3: people they used to have to hire help. It was
- 55:57Speaker 3: part of their setup that they had to do that.
- 56:00Speaker 3: And they used to like clean the sinks and things
- 56:04Speaker 3: like that with pepsi. Right, they pour a can of
- 56:07Speaker 3: pepsi into the sink and that would just flush.
- 56:11Speaker 1: Yeah, well those are great tips, those are hot tips.
- 56:14Speaker 5: Yeah, what about if we actually included maybe some female spots,
- 56:19Speaker 5: so we could have a guest host come in straight
- 56:22Speaker 5: off the bed. I'm thinking off the top of my head.
- 56:24Speaker 5: Kesey's wife comes in and starts talking about squash.
- 56:28Speaker 1: And going out, going out and playing.
- 56:30Speaker 3: Squash at the lady.
- 56:32Speaker 1: How do I get out of the house five days
- 56:34Speaker 1: a week? I don't know.
- 56:35Speaker 4: She only plays every Tuesday, Fellas, as you guys know,
- 56:38Speaker 4: and touch on the Monday there and then work drinks
- 56:40Speaker 4: this coming Thursday. Admittedly, I don't know if I want
- 56:44Speaker 4: my wife on this show. You know what I mean
- 56:46Speaker 4: that I'd be keen.
- 56:48Speaker 1: But that's the issue, Jays, you'd be too keen. I
- 56:50Speaker 1: think the show.
- 56:51Speaker 3: Hey, well, how about how about this fellas in terms?
- 56:55Speaker 3: I know it's a radio show, but we make a
- 56:57Speaker 3: lot of videos. What about Mogie going topless?
- 57:00Speaker 1: Oh, there we go. What's what to appeal to the females?
- 57:03Speaker 3: You know, well, we're going to appeal to a little
- 57:07Speaker 3: lots of people.
- 57:08Speaker 1: We could actually do that as a as a team.
- 57:11Speaker 1: Topless Tuesday, yeah, topless Tuesday.
- 57:14Speaker 3: Well yeah, but I don't know if we want our
- 57:18Speaker 3: meat Petty.
- 57:19Speaker 4: He was so close to saying, Keezy, there's seeing.
- 57:23Speaker 5: Our meat petty notes when everybody knows, yeah, it's Kezy's lane.
- 57:27Speaker 3: That's right.
- 57:27Speaker 4: Stop trying to steal my shit. All right, So we're
- 57:29Speaker 4: going to land on. Mogi's going to host a segment
- 57:31Speaker 4: about cleaning and I'm going to be shirtless. Was on
- 57:35Speaker 4: a Tuesday, and I think Jase HER's saying you should
- 57:38Speaker 4: lie about your age would work.
- 57:39Speaker 1: So what are You're thirty nine?
- 57:40Speaker 3: So maybe twenty eight, twenty?
- 57:43Speaker 1: I think, say you're twenty eight. How do you feel
- 57:44Speaker 1: about lying about your age though? Because I know you're
- 57:46Speaker 1: a pretty honorable guy.
- 57:47Speaker 3: Oh. If there's one thing that gets deep inside may goat,
- 57:50Speaker 3: that's people that lie about their age.
- 57:52Speaker 1: Right? Are you happy to do it?
- 57:53Speaker 3: Why are you doing? I mean, I'll do it for her.
- 57:55Speaker 4: Right, Okay, all right, we'll lock it an anonymous. Hopefully
- 57:58Speaker 4: that helps.
- 57:58Speaker 1: And I'm excited to see our female listenership go through
- 58:01Speaker 1: the roof.
- 58:02Speaker 2: Hurdarchy Big show with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue and Kissey.
- 58:13Speaker 3: Well, there ye go your mad baskets. That's another bit show,
- 58:17Speaker 3: done and dusted and fells. There's been an absolute pleasure
- 58:21Speaker 3: coming out here to win dross from a golf club.
- 58:25Speaker 3: I'm hurting. I'm a little bit guttered by the outcome,
- 58:28Speaker 3: but jeez, it was good to get out on the
- 58:31Speaker 3: course again and have a whack.
- 58:33Speaker 4: Yeah, well, pretty lucky, Jason. It's a lovely place. We
- 58:35Speaker 4: had golf carts, we had snacks, we had Jerry and
- 58:37Speaker 4: Mania and some great winners there. We lost, so as
- 58:40Speaker 4: a result, we will be doing the final breakfast show
