- 3:14Speaker 3: Moments three, four or five. Everybody looking good.
- 3:28Speaker 11: Already. Welcome back to the Son of a Boy Dad
- 3:30Speaker 11: podcast today. It is December sixteen, and we are here
- 3:40Speaker 11: live from HQ three.
- 3:42Speaker 3: Great.
- 3:42Speaker 1: Yeah. On the way, I was biking in today and
- 3:45Speaker 1: it was disgusting out. It's raining badly, and I pulled
- 3:50Speaker 1: up to twenty third Street and there's just this good
- 3:53Speaker 1: looking black woman, tall like, presenting as a nurse and
- 3:57Speaker 1: she just bent over in half and started pretty jettyle
- 4:00Speaker 1: vomiting all over the ground. It was truly a sight
- 4:03Speaker 1: to behold. I want to I want to ask you
- 4:05Speaker 1: guys a question as far as how you would react
- 4:07Speaker 1: to that. Three different options. Say something to her like
- 4:13Speaker 1: how you doing? Or what are you okay? Take out
- 4:16Speaker 1: phone and start filming, or just be a regular New
- 4:20Speaker 1: Yorker of mind your business. I would just keep walking
- 4:22Speaker 1: mynda business? Your answer, mind your business?
- 4:24Speaker 3: What did you do?
- 4:25Speaker 1: What's your answerprisis?
- 4:27Speaker 3: I would have held her hair very gently because it
- 4:30Speaker 3: can come off.
- 4:33Speaker 1: It was she had beautiful natural hair, and.
- 4:35Speaker 3: Uh, okay, well, then I would definitely have held it.
- 4:38Speaker 1: And then it was I said something to her. I
- 4:42Speaker 1: was like, are you okay?
- 4:43Speaker 3: I checked it.
- 4:43Speaker 1: I checked in on her. She said, yeah, I'm okay,
- 4:45Speaker 1: just a little bit sick. The amount of throb that
- 4:47Speaker 1: came out of her was fucking insane and she just
- 4:50Speaker 1: soldiered on and had to go on to her.
- 4:51Speaker 11: Was this like a this was like a like a
- 4:53Speaker 11: This wasn't like a homeless person.
- 4:55Speaker 1: That's why I was. I wanted to make sure that
- 4:57Speaker 1: I said that she was. She wasn't like a creature
- 4:59Speaker 1: of New York. It was like a tall, good looking
- 5:01Speaker 1: woman with gainfully employed and she's just projectile vomiting into
- 5:07Speaker 1: a puddle.
- 5:07Speaker 11: You said she was a nurse, let nurse present like scrubs.
- 5:10Speaker 1: On nurse presenting. She had an undertone of nurse, so
- 5:14Speaker 1: there was no evidence that she was.
- 5:15Speaker 3: Was wearing a white skin type dress with thigh stockings
- 5:22Speaker 3: and rubber gloves.
- 5:24Speaker 11: Yeah, because I thought maybe if she had like scrubs on,
- 5:27Speaker 11: like maybe she just saw some fucked up ship.
- 5:30Speaker 1: Scrubs, because that would have I would have excused that
- 5:32Speaker 1: if a doctor had just seen something heinous in the er,
- 5:36Speaker 1: maybe you go outside and puke. But she was just
- 5:38Speaker 1: a nurse presenting woman, just throwing up, splashing throw up.
- 5:42Speaker 1: But I tried to I try to be neighborly. I'm
- 5:44Speaker 1: trying to give this fucking city a good image.
- 5:46Speaker 3: Buddy, I get it, man, I always wonder about Sometimes
- 5:50Speaker 3: occasionally you'll see a woman in New York crying uncontrollably. Yeah,
- 5:55Speaker 3: and whether you're not. Are you supposed to say something
- 5:59Speaker 3: to that.
- 6:00Speaker 1: Now, because that might make you more of a creep.
- 6:02Speaker 3: Yeah, but if you did that in any other city
- 6:04Speaker 3: in the country, that woman would marry you and it
- 6:06Speaker 3: would be a great story.
- 6:07Speaker 1: How I met your mother?
- 6:08Speaker 3: Yeah, I comforted her and there you go off and running. Yeah,
- 6:14Speaker 3: it's like, what's what's the matter?
- 6:16Speaker 1: Going to fuck you?
- 6:17Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 6:18Speaker 1: Keep it moving, you fucking pervert.
- 6:20Speaker 3: Well, I just got demoted from running my fortune five
- 6:23Speaker 3: hundred company too. You know, it would take a lot.
- 6:27Speaker 11: It would take a lot for me to reach out
- 6:30Speaker 11: to anybody in New York City.
- 6:32Speaker 3: Oh, that's surprising and.
- 6:34Speaker 11: Offer my support and help. Like, what what would be
- 6:38Speaker 11: closer to my apartment is a little different?
- 6:41Speaker 1: What's your community?
- 6:42Speaker 11: That's my because that's yeah, that's that's like home turf.
- 6:45Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 6:45Speaker 11: If I if I see someone outside my apartment that's
- 6:48Speaker 11: injured or struggling, obviously.
- 6:49Speaker 1: I'm gonna act global, think local.
- 6:52Speaker 11: But around twenty eighth Street and up, it's every man
- 6:54Speaker 11: for himself. Yeah, Above twenty eighth Street, I'm not helping anybody.
- 7:01Speaker 3: I don't think it's that high. I think it's lower
- 7:04Speaker 3: than that lower. Yeah, are you kidding me? I think
- 7:08Speaker 3: anything outside of the West Village you're saying, I'm sorry
- 7:11Speaker 3: if you clearly you're not a wealthy ill person.
- 7:15Speaker 1: Do you know m Rada? Do you even follow em Rada?
- 7:18Speaker 3: Yeah? I don't know.
- 7:19Speaker 11: I mean I'm trying to, Like I was thinking, I
- 7:21Speaker 11: tried to. I was ass only helps some gentrified neighborhoods.
- 7:27Speaker 11: I was thinking about it a while ago because also like, well, no,
- 7:29Speaker 11: it's not even that, like that was the joke that
- 7:32Speaker 11: I was making, but in all seriousness, like I also
- 7:34Speaker 11: just think there's so many people and so many people
- 7:39Speaker 11: watching everything that like on my head, I'm always like, well,
- 7:42Speaker 11: someone else is going to do something like when we
- 7:45Speaker 11: like when we lived in Hell's Kitchen and someone got
- 7:47Speaker 11: jumped outside of our apartment. It was brutal, and we
- 7:51Speaker 11: we waded jump, We heard and watched from our windows
- 7:54Speaker 11: for like twenty minutes as it happened, and never once
- 7:58Speaker 11: was I like, I'm gonna call the cops. Because then naturally,
- 8:01Speaker 11: all of a sudden, seven hundred cop cars rolled up,
- 8:04Speaker 11: like someone else called the cops.
- 8:06Speaker 3: Yeah, you know what I mean.
- 8:07Speaker 11: Like, I'm always kind of under the mindset like someone
- 8:09Speaker 11: else is gonna get it done.
- 8:10Speaker 3: Unfortunately I do not abide by that mindset, and it's
- 8:14Speaker 3: gonna get me killed.
- 8:16Speaker 1: M No, I think it's good. It's good.
- 8:19Speaker 3: I'm killed trying to stick my nose into situations that
- 8:24Speaker 3: I shouldn't be.
- 8:25Speaker 1: You don't think you'll kill someone.
- 8:26Speaker 3: No, I'm going to get stabbed trying to break up
- 8:29Speaker 3: a fight that I should never have tried to do.
- 8:31Speaker 11: Yeah, that's how I'm going to go. I'm saying market
- 8:34Speaker 11: right now, like, stand by me.
- 8:37Speaker 3: Market.
- 8:37Speaker 1: Breaking up fights is crazy.
- 8:39Speaker 3: I've done it. Really, it didn't Baltimore once.
- 8:42Speaker 1: Oh my god, that's the worst place to break up
- 8:44Speaker 1: a fight.
- 8:44Speaker 3: Yeah, I did that one time. I Uh, guy's ever
- 8:48Speaker 3: seen the wire on the subway? I did it once.
- 8:51Speaker 11: That's that's that's honorable.
- 8:54Speaker 1: What did you do? Because there's this one famous clip
- 8:57Speaker 1: of the big burly guy fresh from the eating a
- 9:00Speaker 1: bag of chips since he he there's two people about
- 9:03Speaker 1: to fight, and he so calmly just stands between them
- 9:05Speaker 1: and continues to eat his chips, and he's just too
- 9:07Speaker 1: big for them to get around. That's the ideal way
- 9:10Speaker 1: to do it. You would have to kind of dive
- 9:12Speaker 1: in and put someone in a.
- 9:13Speaker 3: Change workouts really for that. I mean, I'm currently kind
- 9:17Speaker 3: of going for a lean athletic look and you're stacked.
- 9:19Speaker 1: Well, you don't have to change your stack that.
- 9:20Speaker 3: It requires bulking major protein upswing.
- 9:24Speaker 11: Also, I would like it on the record, I'm not
- 9:26Speaker 11: saying this is only in New York City, like if
- 9:30Speaker 11: I was in, like if I was in like the suburbs,
- 9:32Speaker 11: or like another city that's not as jam packed and chaotic,
- 9:36Speaker 11: and I saw like someone like wrap their car around
- 9:38Speaker 11: a tree. I'm not just like walking by. I want
- 9:40Speaker 11: to get that. I want to get I want to look. Yeah,
- 9:43Speaker 11: I want to.
- 9:47Speaker 3: Someone's going to go do something about that. I mean, sure,
- 9:52Speaker 3: I'm on a stretch of road that there are no houses,
- 9:55Speaker 3: no other pedestrians. Probably put me here for a reason,
- 10:00Speaker 3: so I'd only make it worse. If I'm honest, I'd
- 10:03Speaker 3: probably just get in the way he.
- 10:04Speaker 1: Get Sass is fishing in Wyoming and there's one other
- 10:07Speaker 1: guy across the creek. He fucking falls in and starts
- 10:09Speaker 1: drowning to his dead, and like someone else will call
- 10:12Speaker 1: the cops.
- 10:12Speaker 11: Yeah, I want it on the record. That's that's not
- 10:14Speaker 11: what I would do. I would I would help. I
- 10:16Speaker 11: would offer my help.
- 10:18Speaker 3: Can I give you one that I think you could do?
- 10:21Speaker 3: That would probably be a nice thing. Sure, So whenever
- 10:26Speaker 3: I'm getting on the subway or getting off the subway,
- 10:29Speaker 3: if there is a mother or an older person with
- 10:33Speaker 3: a bag and they have to navigate stairs, I will
- 10:37Speaker 3: always offer to help, either carry the stroller down or
- 10:40Speaker 3: the woman or their bag. Yeah.
- 10:43Speaker 11: Yeah, now that's come on, you need to do that.
- 10:47Speaker 11: You need to do that.
- 10:48Speaker 1: I've done it before. Of course he does it before
- 10:51Speaker 1: I've done it. I mean i'd take a bike everywhere.
- 10:53Speaker 1: So I haven't been in the bows for a quite
- 10:55Speaker 1: some time.
- 10:55Speaker 3: You don't think that this guy does that. This guy
- 10:57Speaker 3: probably pioneered that move.
- 10:59Speaker 11: No, that's in the subway.
- 11:00Speaker 1: Get in the subway, And I was like, oh, that's
- 11:03Speaker 1: a move I have to do.
- 11:04Speaker 3: It's a great move. It makes you look. I don't
- 11:06Speaker 3: I'm not gonna.
- 11:07Speaker 11: I'll give up my seat on the subway for a
- 11:09Speaker 11: pregnant lady or man, and you know I'll do that.
- 11:14Speaker 11: But like and and maybe if there's someone super slow
- 11:18Speaker 11: walking up the stairs, I'll let them go up the stairs.
- 11:20Speaker 11: I won't try and go around them.
- 11:22Speaker 1: I'll just whistle at them a little bit or flap
- 11:24Speaker 1: in my hands not to not to rush them up
- 11:29Speaker 1: the stairs.
- 11:29Speaker 11: Or you're in a rush and you're saying, this person's
- 11:32Speaker 11: only slowing me down, Like at least maybe we could
- 11:34Speaker 11: at least try to get up the stairs. But I'm not, like,
- 11:39Speaker 11: you know, I think the subway it's kind of fits
- 11:41Speaker 11: every man for him. So now maybe like maybe in
- 11:43Speaker 11: like Dumbo is a little bit.
- 11:44Speaker 3: Not adding time. It's not adding that much time to
- 11:47Speaker 3: your day. And all it's one flight of stairs. Someone's
- 11:50Speaker 3: going to JFK or some ship. They've got a suitcase
- 11:53Speaker 3: old woman.
- 11:55Speaker 11: Yeah, I don't even know if I like, I don't
- 11:57Speaker 11: know if I've ever even been in like I've been
- 11:59Speaker 11: on like the AM track and I've helped like an
- 12:00Speaker 11: older lady get something down from the overhead.
- 12:03Speaker 3: No so yeah it stares it has to be stars.
- 12:07Speaker 1: Or put it up in the overhead.
- 12:08Speaker 11: Yeah, I've done that as well.
- 12:10Speaker 1: But I think we've seen your mental math with the
- 12:12Speaker 1: Joe Rogan Kettlebell. You're probably looking at a bag being
- 12:15Speaker 1: like that could be fucking fifty five.
- 12:16Speaker 11: No, No, I've done trust me. I've been on I've
- 12:19Speaker 11: been on planes and trains and automobiles where I've where
- 12:22Speaker 11: someone has asked me to pick up their bag and
- 12:25Speaker 11: I've picked it up, and I've been like, this is
- 12:26Speaker 11: a lot heavier than I expected it to be. But
- 12:28Speaker 11: I power through. I get it done. I think the
- 12:30Speaker 11: big thing job's not finished.
- 12:32Speaker 3: I want you to do these things without them asking
- 12:35Speaker 3: you to do it. I want you to volunteer.
- 12:37Speaker 11: No, that's not like I like again, I will do
- 12:39Speaker 11: that on a like on a plane, if there's a
- 12:42Speaker 11: if there's a lady in front of me who has
- 12:43Speaker 11: a heavy bag and ICE noticed that she's struggling to
- 12:46Speaker 11: get it up, I say, want me to help you out,
- 12:47Speaker 11: and they say, of course, that's nice. But again on
- 12:49Speaker 11: the subway. Never in a million years, while I be
- 12:51Speaker 11: doing that.
- 12:52Speaker 3: I'm going to ask that this in this new year,
- 12:54Speaker 3: that you look to do that more, just once or twice.
- 12:57Speaker 11: And I'm saying no, and film yourself. No, I'm not
- 13:01Speaker 11: gonna film myself because it's never happening.
- 13:04Speaker 3: How about this one blind person trying to cross the street.
- 13:07Speaker 11: Fig to live in New York. If you're blind. He
- 13:09Speaker 11: needs an arm, needs an arm you have to use yours.
- 13:14Speaker 11: You wouldn't do it, use yours in your can?
- 13:16Speaker 3: What is your reason for not wanting to do that?
- 13:18Speaker 11: I got places to biky.
- 13:20Speaker 1: You definitely think blind people are ichy.
- 13:21Speaker 11: I don't think blind people are ikey, dude. I think
- 13:23Speaker 11: I think everyone in New York is ikey. I'm not
- 13:25Speaker 11: looking at like I'm not looking at mine like the
- 13:27Speaker 11: subways are nasty. I'm not looking to be on the
- 13:29Speaker 11: subways and just be like like I'm trying to get
- 13:32Speaker 11: on the train too. So what are you just like
- 13:34Speaker 11: waiting by the stairs the entire time I.
- 13:36Speaker 3: Get off the train. I guess me, right now I get.
- 13:38Speaker 11: Off the train, the services are available. Who needs it?
- 13:42Speaker 3: No, it's I'm not like waiting for there to be
- 13:45Speaker 3: a good deed to be done. But if I see
- 13:47Speaker 3: a woman or an old man or something who is
- 13:50Speaker 3: about to now, you know, walk up fifteen twenty stairs
- 13:55Speaker 3: because my stop and dumbo that the subway has stairs.
- 13:58Speaker 3: There's no elevator, there's no escalator, and they're taking a
- 14:02Speaker 3: big bag up or a cart. Sometimes they have a
- 14:05Speaker 3: cart or a baby stroller. I say, let me help
- 14:10Speaker 3: you with that, and they're grateful. And I'm not out
- 14:13Speaker 3: here to tell you that I'm just some good citizen.
- 14:16Speaker 3: It makes me.
- 14:17Speaker 1: Get high from it, get it makes me feel good.
- 14:20Speaker 3: This is not some total active altruism. It is definitely
- 14:24Speaker 3: self serving to a degree. Maybe it undoes later in
- 14:28Speaker 3: the day when I kick a pigeon because I fucking
- 14:30Speaker 3: hate pigeons and I punt them a squad and it
- 14:34Speaker 3: all nets out to even.
- 14:35Speaker 11: I think we're Yeah, I think we're gonna have to
- 14:37Speaker 11: agree to disagree on this one.
- 14:38Speaker 1: But I agree with Francis's point that you should at
- 14:41Speaker 1: least try it, because you'll it's like taking it's good I've.
- 14:45Speaker 11: Done, like I do nice things like I'll get I
- 14:47Speaker 11: give homeless people most of my money. Most of my
- 14:49Speaker 11: money goes to the homeless. But I'm not and I
- 14:52Speaker 11: don't share.
- 14:52Speaker 3: That's the right way to do it.
- 14:54Speaker 11: I'm not on the subways, like carrying a.
- 14:56Speaker 3: Bag good do more good for the world than handing
- 15:00Speaker 3: a homeless guy.
- 15:00Speaker 11: Like I'm on, I got my fucking earbuds in, I'm
- 15:03Speaker 11: walked in. Hey, look, if you have a fucking nine
- 15:07Speaker 11: hundred pound bag, maybe you shouldn't have taken the subway.
- 15:10Speaker 3: Some people can't afford to take ubers walk. Oh yeah,
- 15:16Speaker 3: the old lady the JFK with a roller.
- 15:20Speaker 11: Every one that was handing it only take you thirty
- 15:21Speaker 11: minutes to get to JFK. Not for the invalid, and
- 15:25Speaker 11: it's him strap the suitcase to the bike.
- 15:28Speaker 3: They don't have Citi bike passes.
- 15:30Speaker 11: It's way more expensive. I take the local one. I'm
- 15:35Speaker 11: not I'm never in a scenario where there's people with
- 15:37Speaker 11: like massive luggage being flying around from I've seen people
- 15:41Speaker 11: with fourteenth to Christopher Street.
- 15:43Speaker 3: I've seen mothers and get on you know, I've seen
- 15:46Speaker 3: nannies get on the one with a stroller.
- 15:49Speaker 11: Oh, nanny should be able to serve for themselves.
- 15:52Speaker 1: You know they're serving for the baby. They gotta serve
- 15:56Speaker 1: for the baby. What do you think the standard rate is?
- 15:57Speaker 11: If you're a nanny in New York City, you should
- 15:59Speaker 11: be able to lift the baby, be up the staircase.
- 16:00Speaker 3: I mean it's your stroller. The strollers the tricky thing
- 16:03Speaker 3: to apate you, fool. You need two people to carry
- 16:06Speaker 3: a stroller up and down or or a strong guy.
- 16:09Speaker 11: How many times realistically do you think you've done this?
- 16:12Speaker 3: I'm not lying in the in the twelve years I've
- 16:16Speaker 3: lived in New York, probably like twenty five times.
- 16:21Speaker 11: Okay, twice a year.
- 16:23Speaker 3: Yeah, but if I saw it more, I would do
- 16:26Speaker 3: it more, maybe more than that.
- 16:28Speaker 11: So we're on twice a year.
- 16:29Speaker 3: Help. Were you the one who saw me helping the
- 16:31Speaker 3: blind guy across the street when no one else was around?
- 16:33Speaker 1: Yes, he did it, he did it across I'm not
- 16:36Speaker 1: making this up coming out of the subway at.
- 16:38Speaker 11: Six street or six have And how many times have
- 16:41Speaker 11: you done this?
- 16:42Speaker 1: Probably probably closer to like six, seven or eight eight times?
- 16:47Speaker 11: And how long have you lived in New York?
- 16:50Speaker 1: Uh no, ten years?
- 16:52Speaker 11: Ten years, so you're averaging less than one year.
- 16:54Speaker 1: Well, I take city bike.
- 16:55Speaker 3: Do you know what the real benefits?
- 16:57Speaker 11: I probably have done this many times and I probably
- 16:59Speaker 11: just don't. No, member, there is no chance that you
- 17:02Speaker 11: have definitely, like helped someone move a shit.
- 17:05Speaker 1: I have done ayahuasca one.
- 17:07Speaker 11: No, it's not even close to the same comparison. You know,
- 17:10Speaker 11: you don't have a fucking tally chart every time I
- 17:12Speaker 11: do a nice thing for somebody, You and I that
- 17:16Speaker 11: is your stand I just metta, you're trying to take
- 17:21Speaker 11: for the rest of the year.
- 17:24Speaker 3: This is such a flip. Such a flip from you. Yes,
- 17:27Speaker 3: it is. You just had a very firm reason for
- 17:30Speaker 3: why you would never do it. I had phones in mind,
- 17:34Speaker 3: your own business. You shouldn't have children if you live
- 17:36Speaker 3: in New York City.
- 17:37Speaker 11: Well, obviously I'm exaggerating to an extent, but like I said,
- 17:41Speaker 11: twenty eighth and up, there will be no help. Twenty
- 17:45Speaker 11: eighth and below, Yeah, maybe you'll get a helping hand
- 17:48Speaker 11: here and.
- 17:48Speaker 1: There, hm in like the financial district.
- 17:51Speaker 11: No, right, that's below twenty eighth Christopher.
- 17:55Speaker 3: Do you know why? Do you know why I would
- 17:57Speaker 3: tell you to do this? Why? It's twofold one. It'll
- 18:01Speaker 3: make you feel good? Nope, it will. I will know
- 18:04Speaker 3: it will. And then two other people will see you
- 18:08Speaker 3: do it, and it does inspire them to just like
- 18:11Speaker 3: be a little bit better.
- 18:12Speaker 1: Because New York dudes are so competitive. They come to
- 18:16Speaker 1: New York being like, I'm the fucking best, fucking tallest, strongest,
- 18:20Speaker 1: fastest guy, and they see someone else being nice and
- 18:23Speaker 1: they're like, I now need to be the nicest guy.
- 18:26Speaker 1: I need to put down the book I was reading
- 18:27Speaker 1: on the subway for everyone to see me and start
- 18:29Speaker 1: picking up somebody's stroller.
- 18:31Speaker 3: It's just the type of thing that if, if if
- 18:33Speaker 3: there's a group of people that see that each person
- 18:36Speaker 3: in that group is affected, maybe their view of New
- 18:40Speaker 3: York is that maybe this place isn't so cut throat,
- 18:42Speaker 3: maybe it's not so mean. Maybe we do have a
- 18:44Speaker 3: sense of community here, and maybe I should the next
- 18:47Speaker 3: time someone dings my car and a fender better or
- 18:50Speaker 3: is pulling out of a parking spot, instead of fucking
- 18:53Speaker 3: litigating and screaming in their face and making a scene,
- 18:55Speaker 3: I'm gonna say, you know what, mistakes happen, Let's be great.
- 18:59Speaker 11: This is now I think now, I think you're setting
- 19:00Speaker 11: people up for trouble because you're giving people a false hope.
- 19:06Speaker 3: Well, I'm not telling everyone I said, I do dumb ship.
- 19:09Speaker 3: I try to break up fights when I see them.
- 19:11Speaker 3: That's gonna get me killed. Yes, block shoulder traffic, that's
- 19:15Speaker 3: gonna get me killed. Yeah.
- 19:16Speaker 11: Like, I don't want to ship, like you don't want to.
- 19:18Speaker 11: I don't want to help too many people in the
- 19:20Speaker 11: city because then people are gonna start getting this idea
- 19:22Speaker 11: that everyone in the city is a great person.
- 19:23Speaker 3: Yeah, they're gonna be lulled into a false sense of
- 19:25Speaker 3: security and That's how you end up with someone a
- 19:27Speaker 3: woman thinking that you know, you're carrying her stroller down
- 19:31Speaker 3: the stairs and then down into a dark alley and
- 19:33Speaker 3: she ends up getting dismembered.
- 19:35Speaker 1: Yep, you're you're lulling them into a sense of security. Yeah,
- 19:39Speaker 1: you're actually setting yourself up to snatch exactly.
- 19:43Speaker 11: You're the problem.
- 19:45Speaker 1: Oh yeah, all guys are helpful. And then that's when
- 19:47Speaker 1: fucking phrase is strike.
- 19:48Speaker 3: Did you did you see what about the What about
- 19:50Speaker 3: the story of the guy who put the homeless guy
- 19:53Speaker 3: in the choke hold and killed him who was just acquitted? Yeah? Released,
- 19:57Speaker 3: what do you think of that story?
- 20:00Speaker 11: Unfortunately I do not have many hot takes on that one.
- 20:04Speaker 1: Really fucking video. I thought that you would have go
- 20:08Speaker 1: fawed your way home.
- 20:09Speaker 11: No, I don't really know what happened. It was like
- 20:11Speaker 11: that dude, the homeless guy did something.
- 20:14Speaker 3: He was threatening people while he was scaring people and
- 20:16Speaker 3: saying I don't care if I live or die, being
- 20:18Speaker 3: very erratic, getting in people's faces, and this guy who
- 20:22Speaker 3: was a former marine came up, put him in a
- 20:24Speaker 3: choke hold and killed them.
- 20:27Speaker 11: Yeah. See that seems a little much.
- 20:30Speaker 3: Well, the argument that they had that the defense had
- 20:33Speaker 3: was that he thought that if he let him up,
- 20:37Speaker 3: he would continue to act in a threatening way, and
- 20:40Speaker 3: so it's hard for him to know that he had
- 20:43Speaker 3: gone too far with it.
- 20:44Speaker 11: Yeah, it sounds like it's like if you don't live
- 20:47Speaker 11: in New York and you come here and then he's
- 20:49Speaker 11: the first person, it's like like every time. Like I
- 20:51Speaker 11: remember a couple of years ago when I had friends
- 20:53Speaker 11: from high school that were interning here, and every like
- 20:56Speaker 11: interaction they had with like a homeless person, they would
- 20:58Speaker 11: like tell me about it, like it was just like
- 21:00Speaker 11: crazy thing that happened, And I was like, no, that's
- 21:02Speaker 11: not just that, just happens every day. Yeah, So it's
- 21:05Speaker 11: like maybe if it's your first time in New York
- 21:07Speaker 11: and you see a homeless person on the train being like,
- 21:09Speaker 11: get the fuck away from me, I'll fucking kill you.
- 21:12Speaker 1: Was it his first time?
- 21:14Speaker 11: I don't know, but it sounds like it because like
- 21:15Speaker 11: I've had I remember, I remember I've had a homeless
- 21:18Speaker 11: dude telling me he was gonna stab me to death.
- 21:20Speaker 11: I didn't kill him. I just walked away.
- 21:24Speaker 1: But could you have if you could have killed him,
- 21:27Speaker 1: would you have? No?
- 21:27Speaker 11: I would not have killed him.
- 21:29Speaker 1: Because you don't know because you can't.
- 21:31Speaker 11: It just feels a little dramatic, Like was that homeless
- 21:34Speaker 11: guy gonna kill anybody on the train? Probably not no, But.
- 21:38Speaker 3: I don't know. For me, I I like people who
- 21:42Speaker 3: take action. I like people who preserve order, who like
- 21:46Speaker 3: protect But.
- 21:47Speaker 11: Like, that's like you're kind of it's kind of like
- 21:49Speaker 11: an unnecessary.
- 21:50Speaker 3: Yeah, in hindsight, obviously you know he went a little far,
- 21:55Speaker 3: but like, uh, his decision in that moment, I mean,
- 21:59Speaker 3: who knows what was going on and why he felt
- 22:02Speaker 3: that that was the necessary thing. But for me, like,
- 22:05Speaker 3: as someone who lives in New York and has been
- 22:07Speaker 3: terrified of that and seeing other people be terrified of it,
- 22:10Speaker 3: I applowed the.
- 22:11Speaker 1: Guy what I honestly, I blame the Marines because that's
- 22:14Speaker 1: exactly how Kate used to act in fucking New York.
- 22:17Speaker 11: Yeah, Kate.
- 22:18Speaker 1: I'd see Kate on the subway, fucking steel toe, booting
- 22:21Speaker 1: a homeless guy in his exposed dick and put that away.
- 22:24Speaker 1: There's fucking kids on here, and then spitting on him.
- 22:27Speaker 11: Yeah, I guess I just I just mind my business.
- 22:30Speaker 11: I stay in my land.
- 22:31Speaker 3: Not Kate.
- 22:32Speaker 1: Not Kate. Kate would fucking do that coffee grinder move
- 22:36Speaker 1: where you sweep your leg around and fucking take out
- 22:38Speaker 1: an entire road breaking. Yeah, she would take their asses
- 22:46Speaker 1: out bad. She was a fucking vicious New Yorker. Thank
- 22:49Speaker 1: god the city's gone to shit without Kate.
- 22:52Speaker 3: That's we're missing her great example. Yeah, I guess then.
- 22:56Speaker 1: The homeless people cheered when Kate moved to Chicago. They're like,
- 22:59Speaker 1: thank god, we can fucking breathe now.
- 23:01Speaker 11: One time I thought I saw a dude stealing packages
- 23:04Speaker 11: and I tailed them for a little bit. Was it
- 23:07Speaker 11: from your turned out he was an Amazon delivery driver.
- 23:12Speaker 1: Well, they don't have to wear the uniforms like the
- 23:14Speaker 1: Ups brothers.
- 23:15Speaker 11: I know, they just they literally just show up in
- 23:18Speaker 11: like regular clothes. And I was like, that guy looks
- 23:21Speaker 11: like he's stealing packages. He had a shisty on.
- 23:24Speaker 1: What stops them from stealing packages? Is it just that
- 23:27Speaker 1: Amazon is a brutal place to work for and they'll
- 23:29Speaker 1: fire them if they don't have the exact right count
- 23:32Speaker 1: every single time?
- 23:32Speaker 3: Remember they were all talking about there was that story
- 23:34Speaker 3: of how they were all having to piss and gatorade bottles.
- 23:37Speaker 3: I couldn't get time off to go to the bathroom.
- 23:39Speaker 1: Classic.
- 23:40Speaker 11: One of my best friends is working for Amazon right now.
- 23:44Speaker 11: He's delivery now Stevens Stevens Peters.
- 23:48Speaker 1: Around the holidays. They boost the race.
- 23:50Speaker 11: Yeah, he said, it's actually pretty good.
- 23:52Speaker 3: Uh.
- 23:52Speaker 11: He gets paid a lot. No, he gets paid.
- 23:56Speaker 3: Clearly, this isn't one of your best friend.
- 23:57Speaker 11: It is my friend, Nate.
- 23:59Speaker 1: He gets paid your wedding, yes, what you be on
- 24:01Speaker 1: your mount rushmore of friends.
- 24:04Speaker 3: How come we don't know him?
- 24:06Speaker 1: You like, never talk about it.
- 24:08Speaker 11: Every time I talk about him, You guys say I
- 24:09Speaker 11: never talk about him.
- 24:10Speaker 3: That's not true.
- 24:11Speaker 11: It's one literally the last time I brought him up.
- 24:13Speaker 1: You said, I think he's brought him up once before.
- 24:16Speaker 1: And I thought that it was like during one of
- 24:18Speaker 1: your depressive episodes, so you were having like a buddy
- 24:20Speaker 1: like I thought it was like a ghost friend, imaginary friend,
- 24:23Speaker 1: imaginary Oh Nate, Oh yeah, Nate, Wow, you never talked
- 24:28Speaker 1: about him? Is he nice?
- 24:29Speaker 11: He's delivering for Amazon right now? And he said, uh.
- 24:31Speaker 11: He said getting the job was insanely easy. He said,
- 24:35Speaker 11: you've literally just like email them and say I want
- 24:38Speaker 11: a job, and they said come here tomorrow and you're delivering.
- 24:40Speaker 11: No drug test, no, no, definitely, no drug test.
- 24:43Speaker 3: Imagine imaginary friend named Nate who worked for Amazon.
- 24:49Speaker 1: Just no, Nate did in town for the holidays. He's
- 24:51Speaker 1: delivering packages.
- 24:52Speaker 3: He says it's easy, which you know, makes me think
- 24:54Speaker 3: that if this comedy thing doesn't work out, I can
- 24:56Speaker 3: go work.
- 24:56Speaker 1: For holidays because they pay so much. Nate says, just fine.
- 25:00Speaker 3: The bottles like beating bottles already.
- 25:03Speaker 11: He said that they had a they had a Thanksgiving dinner. Seriously,
- 25:08Speaker 11: he said that they like they had like a break
- 25:10Speaker 11: and they got I'm hearing all.
- 25:11Speaker 3: This through the filter that this guy isn't real now,
- 25:13Speaker 3: and that's very funny, very funny to me.
- 25:15Speaker 11: I mean, I literally I played video games with him
- 25:17Speaker 11: for like eight hours, and everybody had a.
- 25:19Speaker 1: Big plate of food. It was so nice. All the
- 25:22Speaker 1: Amazon workers ate for days and days.
- 25:25Speaker 11: Very funny. I mean, dude, you literally have all of
- 25:30Speaker 11: your friends have the same name. Like, I'm convinced you
- 25:32Speaker 11: have one friend. Like, it's pretty easy to lie about
- 25:38Speaker 11: how many friends you have when they all have the
- 25:40Speaker 11: same name. Coincidental.
- 25:45Speaker 3: Tell me about my friends.
- 25:46Speaker 11: I don't know any of your friends.
- 25:48Speaker 3: I don't have any, but at least I don't pretend
- 25:51Speaker 3: about him. Yeah, it could be worse.
- 25:53Speaker 1: We have a one friend who is.
- 25:55Speaker 3: So fucking fuddy.
- 25:57Speaker 1: Yeah, my friend Mike, Mike, Mike, Mike, Mike, Mike. I'm
- 26:01Speaker 1: just obsessed with him. He doesn't even like me or like, yeah,
- 26:05Speaker 1: my friend Mike said he's going out. He has a wedding,
- 26:07Speaker 1: and at the end of the movie, it's just like, Yeah,
- 26:09Speaker 1: he stood outside the wedding, fogging up the glass, staring
- 26:12Speaker 1: the entire time.
- 26:15Speaker 11: Oh my good drinking a little decalf this morning, he did.
- 26:19Speaker 11: That's what I'm drinking right now.
- 26:20Speaker 3: Is that your only cup today? Yeah? Why did you
- 26:23Speaker 3: go to DCAF?
- 26:24Speaker 11: Oh I don't. I don't really drink caffeine anymore.
- 26:27Speaker 1: And your anxiety is way better.
- 26:29Speaker 11: It's not way better, but it's definitely better.
- 26:31Speaker 3: Let's go Wow, no no energy drinking.
- 26:35Speaker 1: No.
- 26:35Speaker 11: And I'm really surprised. I'll like, I'll have like a
- 26:37Speaker 11: diet coke here and there, but even like diet like,
- 26:40Speaker 11: I've caught way back on the dcs and I've i
- 26:44Speaker 11: haven't had a red Bull or a real coffee and
- 26:46Speaker 11: probably over a month now.
- 26:48Speaker 3: That's impressive. I once tried to go cold turkey on caffeine,
- 26:51Speaker 3: and that's why you need to mix into DC. It
- 26:54Speaker 3: was so bad, how much it fucking sucked. Yeah. I
- 26:58Speaker 3: had just pervasive headache and lethargy for days until I
- 27:05Speaker 3: quit quitting and went back on coffee and immediately was fine. Yeah.
- 27:09Speaker 11: I was surprised by how little like withdrawals I had.
- 27:14Speaker 11: I thought I was gonna get like I had like
- 27:15Speaker 11: a headache for like the first couple of days, but
- 27:17Speaker 11: it was like as soon as I had to diet
- 27:18Speaker 11: coke and went away immediately.
- 27:19Speaker 3: Yeah. I love caffeine. I'm pretty in check with it.
- 27:24Speaker 3: I love my coffee routine.
- 27:26Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 27:27Speaker 11: That's the thing though, is that it's like, I think
- 27:29Speaker 11: I liked the coffee routine more than I liked coffee.
- 27:31Speaker 3: Well, then you can do it with decaf. It's nice.
- 27:34Speaker 1: What's the coffee routine? Break it down? Because I know
- 27:36Speaker 1: that it has bells and whistles.
- 27:37Speaker 3: Oh, I got some bells whistles.
- 27:39Speaker 11: Have that ship where you're like s the mist on
- 27:42Speaker 11: the powder.
- 27:44Speaker 3: Let's just put it. Let's just put it this way.
- 27:46Speaker 3: The scale that I used to use to weigh out
- 27:48Speaker 3: coke when I was selling I now used to weigh
- 27:50Speaker 3: out the perfect crams.
- 27:52Speaker 11: Do you ever see those videos of the dudes making
- 27:54Speaker 11: like the espresso and there and they're fucking they have
- 27:57Speaker 11: this like whole setup yeah, where it's like it's like, dude,
- 28:00Speaker 11: that looks like that takes forty five minutes and then
- 28:02Speaker 11: you end up with like this much coffee.
- 28:04Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm I'm a little less. Uh let's call it
- 28:09Speaker 3: analog about it. I'm a little less like record player
- 28:13Speaker 3: guy of coffee. I have a machine that does make
- 28:18Speaker 3: really nice espresso. What do you have espresso? The revel
- 28:22Speaker 3: Touch And by the way, shout out the fan who
- 28:27Speaker 3: works for and I'm not going to say the company
- 28:30Speaker 3: who reached out and got me the friends and family
- 28:32Speaker 3: employee discount that I bought the Revelte.
- 28:35Speaker 1: How much counter space does it take up?
- 28:37Speaker 3: Not that much? And it looks really sleek. It's sexy.
- 28:39Speaker 11: That's what I love about my cuig.
- 28:42Speaker 3: I have the slim that's nice.
- 28:44Speaker 11: It is nice.
- 28:45Speaker 3: I don't have any issue with it.
- 28:46Speaker 11: Just you tuck it away in the corner. You pour
- 28:48Speaker 11: one cup of water in good to go, that's really good.
- 28:51Speaker 11: To use it more for tea.
- 28:52Speaker 3: Now, I'm an espresso drinker. I don't like drip coffee.
- 28:55Speaker 3: I like espresso drinks. I drink an iced oat milk
- 28:58Speaker 3: latte with an extra shot of espresso every single morning,
- 29:01Speaker 3: and if I don't have it, I get fucking furious,
- 29:04Speaker 3: which is why it's hard for me to travel or
- 29:06Speaker 3: to do work events, especially in places where I don't
- 29:09Speaker 3: trust that there's going to be a decent coffee shop.
- 29:11Speaker 3: What sounds like is that, like it's usually places in
- 29:14Speaker 3: the Midwest. I would say in general that don't.
- 29:17Speaker 1: Have deimoy's not blessing you with the fucking no.
- 29:20Speaker 3: Indianapolis actually doesn't even I don't even know if they
- 29:22Speaker 3: have espresso.
- 29:23Speaker 1: It might not have heard, they might not have caught wind.
- 29:25Speaker 11: No, I don't. I disagree with that. Indianapolis pretty uh metropolitan.
- 29:30Speaker 11: Yeah you think so well. They have Starbucks, but I don't.
- 29:33Speaker 11: I don't like Starbucks. Who doesn't like Starbucks?
- 29:35Speaker 3: Me?
- 29:36Speaker 11: Starbucks is great.
- 29:37Speaker 1: Shoot McAfee at Texans. See if Indianapolis has heard espresso.
- 29:41Speaker 3: Yet, he'll be like, oh, you mean what they have?
- 29:43Speaker 3: It's the fancy stuff at Starbucks, and I don't like it.
- 29:48Speaker 3: I don't like the star wars.
- 29:49Speaker 11: I don't think Pad McAfee would say that. I think
- 29:51Speaker 11: a couple of years from now stuff it's you guys
- 29:53Speaker 11: worth like five hundred million dollars Starbucks in his apartment.
- 29:57Speaker 1: Yeah, but he's blue apartment.
- 29:59Speaker 3: Yeah, And if he were old money, he would have
- 30:02Speaker 3: a one off, individualized, like startup coffee shop in his
- 30:08Speaker 3: home that has amazing you know, books at gaming table
- 30:13Speaker 3: stuff like that.
- 30:15Speaker 1: Yeah, that's what you would do.
- 30:17Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 30:17Speaker 11: I just liked to I like make I like to
- 30:19Speaker 11: like make a cup of coffee in the morning, or
- 30:21Speaker 11: I would like to like wake up, walk over to
- 30:22Speaker 11: the coffee shop, chop it up with the fellas there,
- 30:25Speaker 11: and then like come back to my apartment. Usually I
- 30:27Speaker 11: would like come back to my apartment, throw on some
- 30:29Speaker 11: WildFly productions fishing videos, and then I would watch those,
- 30:33Speaker 11: drink my coffee, and.
- 30:34Speaker 3: Oh I have something for you do tell have you
- 30:39Speaker 3: heard about the proliferation of these social clubs in New
- 30:42Speaker 3: York City? So all of it started all with Soho House,
- 30:47Speaker 3: but it's since expanded to things like Casa Chipriani Zero Bond.
- 30:52Speaker 3: Now there's a Shay Margo that just opened a Bungalow club,
- 30:56Speaker 3: which is they were in La Now they've they're opening
- 30:59Speaker 3: one of the old Geno hell.
- 31:01Speaker 11: Oho Jane Hotel. Didn't we have our company party there?
- 31:03Speaker 3: He did.
- 31:05Speaker 11: So listen, great establishment. There was a new one and
- 31:09Speaker 11: I'm not making this up. It's called the fly Fishing Club.
- 31:12Speaker 1: I've been there, you have. Yeah, I went when it
- 31:15Speaker 1: was like the second week it opened.
- 31:18Speaker 3: Was it cool?
- 31:19Speaker 1: It was pretty cool.
- 31:20Speaker 3: We have to get you to join this place.
- 31:22Speaker 11: Well, is it actually people that fly fish or is
- 31:24Speaker 11: it just like rich people who like and.
- 31:26Speaker 3: I don't know much about it.
- 31:27Speaker 1: It started off as a gary Ve venture where you
- 31:31Speaker 1: had to you bought an NFT and got like a
- 31:34Speaker 1: lifetime membership.
- 31:35Speaker 11: Yeah, this doesn't really seem like the fly fishing community.
- 31:37Speaker 3: Know what they've pivoted.
- 31:38Speaker 1: They pivoted. They did a hard pivot, hard pivot at
- 31:41Speaker 1: the I guess waning of NFT popularity, and now it's
- 31:49Speaker 1: just like a fucking sick like social club type of deal.
- 31:55Speaker 1: A buddy took me a couple of weeks ago and
- 31:56Speaker 1: we were sitting next to the girl from vander part Rules. Okay,
- 32:01Speaker 1: one of the women from vander Pump Rules. So that's
- 32:03Speaker 1: that's kind of your crowd.
- 32:04Speaker 3: The one that made that guy cheat on her.
- 32:06Speaker 1: No, one of the other ones, the one who had
- 32:08Speaker 1: a threesome with John Mayer.
- 32:11Speaker 3: I don't know her maybe it was odd threesome.
- 32:14Speaker 11: I don't know, huh, I said, friend of the pod, Yeah,
- 32:16Speaker 11: friend of the pod John Mayer.
- 32:18Speaker 1: Yes.
- 32:19Speaker 11: And the girl that he had a threeesome with.
- 32:20Speaker 1: I guess right, I guess she's like kind of a
- 32:23Speaker 1: Kevin Bacon extension of the pod is a friend of
- 32:25Speaker 1: ours exactly. There's a transitive property.
- 32:29Speaker 11: I think I might go fishing this weekend.
- 32:33Speaker 3: Do they do? They have rods and things in there.
- 32:36Speaker 1: It was very that you wouldn't have known it was
- 32:38Speaker 1: there was any five.
- 32:39Speaker 3: Okay, so it's it's maybe a tongue in cheek thing
- 32:42Speaker 3: that is somehow there's no actual fishing paraphernalia or theme.
- 32:47Speaker 1: I have to look this up to make sure it
- 32:49Speaker 1: was the same place, but I think I think it's
- 32:51Speaker 1: on Houston Street, Yeah, like right under second.
- 32:55Speaker 3: I don't know. I've never been.
- 32:56Speaker 1: It's like if you're going up Christy and you take
- 32:58Speaker 1: that right.
- 32:59Speaker 3: Yeah. I now remember you telling me about it on
- 33:01Speaker 3: the we were biking home, But I just heard about
- 33:04Speaker 3: it again this weekend and I thought, we need to
- 33:06Speaker 3: get you to join.
- 33:08Speaker 1: Fly Fish Club.
- 33:08Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 33:09Speaker 1: It was nice, okay, really nice cocktails. I went with
- 33:13Speaker 1: my friend Sean.
- 33:14Speaker 3: Gets sass showing up with waiters on in a fucking
- 33:18Speaker 3: fucket and everyone else is dressed to the nines and
- 33:21Speaker 3: he's like, wait what.
- 33:23Speaker 1: And the cast of Southern Charm is there, and the
- 33:25Speaker 1: fucking record stops and they'll stare at you.
- 33:27Speaker 11: They do have actual, like real fly fishing clubs in
- 33:30Speaker 11: New York, and it's like just so like people can
- 33:33Speaker 11: like carpool on the weekends and like go up to
- 33:35Speaker 11: like the cats.
- 33:35Speaker 1: Skills and shit, what if you confused it?
- 33:38Speaker 11: Yeah, yeah that's possible. Yeah, they like they'll like like
- 33:42Speaker 11: people will get together and they'll be like a shuttle
- 33:44Speaker 11: that takes you out to some river.
- 33:48Speaker 1: Cool kind of would be sweet. You could organize it.
- 33:50Speaker 1: Did you see that They now have like nine dollars
- 33:53Speaker 1: rides to JFK or something like that. I got targeted
- 33:56Speaker 1: ads for them all the time. Nine dollars ubers to JFK.
- 33:59Speaker 1: But you have to meet at Moynahan Train Hall or
- 34:02Speaker 1: some shit like that and take a nine dollars van
- 34:05Speaker 1: with a bunch of people.
- 34:06Speaker 11: Not for me, no, no, kind of for me, to
- 34:10Speaker 11: be honest, you're gonna start doing it, no, because I
- 34:13Speaker 11: never fly to JFK. But like, dude, the uber JFK
- 34:16Speaker 11: is like one hundred and fifty dollars.
- 34:18Speaker 3: Yeah, but I don't do that either.
- 34:19Speaker 11: Take you so closer to JFK than I.
- 34:22Speaker 3: Well, also, how am I supposed to get my fix
- 34:24Speaker 3: of helping women bring their backs down?
- 34:25Speaker 1: He stops at every stop on the A train.
- 34:27Speaker 3: It is truly the train to JFK where you get
- 34:30Speaker 3: the most acts of good deeds.
- 34:33Speaker 11: It is also the only train that actually goes to
- 34:37Speaker 11: j Like you can take you transfer at Jamaica, right,
- 34:39Speaker 11: and then you take the you can know you go.
- 34:42Speaker 3: To Howard Beach straight. There's one there's two A trains
- 34:45Speaker 3: that run on the same line, but one goes to
- 34:47Speaker 3: Howard Beach and one goes.
- 34:48Speaker 11: To there's the actual air train that like then you
- 34:52Speaker 11: then there, it's for Howard Beach.
- 34:54Speaker 3: You have to get. You have to get. You can
- 34:56Speaker 3: go to Jamaica on the Long Island Railroad, which is
- 34:59Speaker 3: a good way for you to it from Penn Station,
- 35:01Speaker 3: go to Jamaica very quick, and then you get on
- 35:03Speaker 3: the air train there. That's what I did. That's a
- 35:05Speaker 3: good way to do it. Yeah, that's not that's like
- 35:08Speaker 3: eighteen bucks.
- 35:09Speaker 11: Yeah, and it's quick twenty minutes it's not bad at all.
- 35:12Speaker 1: Yeah, I've just been flying in my drone to get there.
- 35:14Speaker 1: I feel like it's the easiest, quickest way.
- 35:16Speaker 3: Can we talk about this? What the fuck does anyone
- 35:18Speaker 3: have any Have I missed the resolution to this? I
- 35:21Speaker 3: wan sorry?
- 35:22Speaker 11: Some video about it yesterday where I guess some dude
- 35:24Speaker 11: has some theory that the drones are searching for like
- 35:29Speaker 11: nuclear materials.
- 35:31Speaker 3: Okay, that doesn't seem justifiable to me. Where are they
- 35:37Speaker 3: coming from. Why hasn't the government done something? Because they're
- 35:40Speaker 3: I think they are the government. Oh yeah, and they're
- 35:43Speaker 3: just not telling us.
- 35:43Speaker 1: Yeah, the government. It's the government searching for a nuke
- 35:46Speaker 1: that someone else brought into the United States.
- 35:49Speaker 3: That's what they're saying.
- 35:50Speaker 1: That's what I mean.
- 35:51Speaker 11: Some random guy, some dude it was Joe Rogan reposted
- 35:55Speaker 11: it saying this is the first video that has me
- 35:57Speaker 11: actually concerned about this. And it was like like some
- 36:01Speaker 11: dude that he works like he works with drones, like
- 36:04Speaker 11: he works for a company or owns a company that
- 36:07Speaker 11: like builds drones for the military, And he said that
- 36:09Speaker 11: the only reason that drones would be flying at night.
- 36:13Speaker 11: He kept on saying he is to smell something. I
- 36:16Speaker 11: guess they can pick up scent or was that like
- 36:19Speaker 11: or was he speaking.
- 36:20Speaker 1: They have dogs riding in the drones.
- 36:23Speaker 11: It was something weird. I don't know, something with like
- 36:24Speaker 11: there was there was some sort of when when they
- 36:28Speaker 11: shut down the nuclear program, and like I guess there
- 36:31Speaker 11: was like some nuclear parts or some shit that went missing.
- 36:35Speaker 11: And then I don't know. I mean, I could not
- 36:37Speaker 11: have done a worst job of explaining this, and I
- 36:39Speaker 11: really don't know what I'm talking about, So I'm just
- 36:41Speaker 11: gonna skip out on this one. Something with nukes. I
- 36:43Speaker 11: guess there's nukes in New Jersey.
- 36:45Speaker 3: How often do you two living in New York City
- 36:49Speaker 3: worry that we live in the number one place that
- 36:52Speaker 3: a nuke would be dropped a terrorist would want to attack.
- 36:56Speaker 11: Look, if I lived above twenty eighth, I'd be a
- 36:58Speaker 11: little more worried, But since I lived eighth, I'm not
- 37:01Speaker 11: sweating it too much.
- 37:01Speaker 3: I mean, you think that they're gonna what are you
- 37:04Speaker 3: talking about? They're going they would attack below twenty eighth.
- 37:07Speaker 3: You think they'd go to Times Square. Yeah, they already
- 37:12Speaker 3: did it once and they took out the World Trade
- 37:15Speaker 3: Centers which are in.
- 37:17Speaker 11: Yeah, they're not going to try back up. Huh, they're
- 37:19Speaker 11: not going to go for the one World Trade the
- 37:23Speaker 11: Freedom Tower.
- 37:24Speaker 3: Yeah, one World Trade. I mean I feel like that
- 37:28Speaker 3: would be a very symbolic thing to do.
- 37:31Speaker 11: If it was me, I would definitely go Empire State
- 37:32Speaker 11: Building because of oday. Yeah, because of Oday, and also
- 37:37Speaker 11: just because like why not? Right? That's like the like
- 37:39Speaker 11: when you think of New York, when people in other
- 37:41Speaker 11: countries think of New York, think Empire State Building.
- 37:43Speaker 3: They're nothinking.
- 37:44Speaker 1: No, no, no, no, you're mistaken, my friend, No, you're mistaken.
- 37:49Speaker 11: Are you crazy?
- 37:50Speaker 1: Do you think Empire State Building is the marquee building
- 37:53Speaker 1: of New York, especially considering nine to eleven?
- 37:57Speaker 11: Yeah?
- 37:58Speaker 1: No, oh no, no, my friend, dude.
- 38:01Speaker 11: The Empire Stapuilding is the most famous building in New
- 38:03Speaker 11: York City.
- 38:03Speaker 1: The symbolism of New York, the World Trade Centers.
- 38:06Speaker 3: Yeah, and I would also say that you could argue,
- 38:08Speaker 3: like Madison Square Gardens more famous than Empire State Building.
- 38:13Speaker 11: Oh you guys have lost your mind?
- 38:16Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 38:16Speaker 1: Is paying you dude?
- 38:18Speaker 11: The Empire Stapuilding is like the building in New York
- 38:21Speaker 11: now that the Twin Towers have been destroyed, destroyed is crazy?
- 38:28Speaker 11: What would you rather have met? Have said?
- 38:31Speaker 3: But then again, be lons out there with a fucking
- 38:39Speaker 3: t bar.
- 38:40Speaker 11: Okay, dude, the Empire Staplding, Like that's like New York City.
- 38:47Speaker 11: Like when my parents were here last week, my mom
- 38:48Speaker 11: was like, oh my god, the Empire Stapilding. She didn't
- 38:51Speaker 11: even know what the World Trade Center was. She was like,
- 38:53Speaker 11: is it the one that like she would she thought
- 38:55Speaker 11: it could have been any building.
- 38:56Speaker 3: I mean I would say that, uh, that's liberty I
- 39:00Speaker 3: would put up there.
- 39:01Speaker 11: Yeah. But also you're not gonna get as much bang
- 39:04Speaker 11: for your buck on that.
- 39:04Speaker 3: Oh boy.
- 39:07Speaker 1: But so you think that's gonna be biggest bang for
- 39:09Speaker 1: your buck? Yes, I think it's like.
- 39:13Speaker 11: Look, I'm not saying I'm gonna go through with a
- 39:15Speaker 11: terrorist attack here. I'm just saying I'm not as worried.
- 39:17Speaker 11: I would be more worried if I lived closer to
- 39:19Speaker 11: the Empire State Building.
- 39:20Speaker 1: Do you ever see the clip of Vince Carter jumping
- 39:22Speaker 1: over that seven foot French dude? Yes, he dunks over him.
- 39:26Speaker 1: I have. So it's like if Vince Carter in that
- 39:28Speaker 1: same game dunked over a seven foot French dude again,
- 39:32Speaker 1: I think it'd be way crazier than like if he
- 39:35Speaker 1: junk twice over the same seven foot French dude. I
- 39:38Speaker 1: think it would be more impactful.
- 39:39Speaker 3: I actually I have a better analogy. Do you remember
- 39:43Speaker 3: nine to eleven? Yeah? Do you know how they took
- 39:45Speaker 3: out the World Trade Centers and then we rebuilt on
- 39:50Speaker 3: memory and built a monument to it, and it was
- 39:53Speaker 3: this really symbolic thing of like you can't beat us,
- 39:56Speaker 3: and we called it the Freedom Tower. If they took
- 39:59Speaker 3: that out, that'd be really tough.
- 40:03Speaker 11: That would be really tough, and it would kind of
- 40:04Speaker 11: be like, uh, like what do you even do at
- 40:07Speaker 11: that point? Build another one?
- 40:08Speaker 3: You build it again.
- 40:10Speaker 11: I think at that point you gotta be like, we're
- 40:11Speaker 11: just gonna make this like an office and like fucking
- 40:13Speaker 11: upstate or some ship. Clearly people really want this gone,
- 40:20Speaker 11: so we're just gonna move it somewhere a little more disclosed.
- 40:23Speaker 3: But then they win. You can't let them win.
- 40:25Speaker 11: But I mean, if it happens again, I think they win, Like, yeah,
- 40:28Speaker 11: you guys want we're gonna We're.
- 40:29Speaker 3: Not pro American attitude.
- 40:32Speaker 11: I'm just realistic.
- 40:33Speaker 1: Do you think that the World Trade Center would be
- 40:35Speaker 1: just an ehaca, just like building with nothing?
- 40:39Speaker 11: It would be like they'd probably like use like an
- 40:40Speaker 11: old like an old fucking warehouse or some shit, and
- 40:45Speaker 11: just build.
- 40:45Speaker 1: Something low flat, yeah, unhitb yeah, something unhittable. Yeah, I
- 40:51Speaker 1: mean all right, yeah.
- 40:53Speaker 11: I mean if it went down, if it went down again,
- 40:57Speaker 11: there's no what are you gonna build the This is okay,
- 41:00Speaker 11: but this time it's the real Freedom Tower.
- 41:06Speaker 3: I don't know. I don't have an answer for that.
- 41:08Speaker 3: I don't know, but I would think that they would
- 41:10Speaker 3: rebuild it because it's it's it's you have to I
- 41:14Speaker 3: think you don't as a symbol of resilience and the
- 41:17Speaker 3: indomitable American spirit, and.
- 41:19Speaker 1: You're advocating for America to take their l and go
- 41:22Speaker 1: y right, that's what.
- 41:23Speaker 11: He said at that point.
- 41:24Speaker 1: Yes, I am take your l as crazy to America.
- 41:28Speaker 11: Yeah all right, Well, different questions like make it somewhere secret,
- 41:32Speaker 11: like make it like put it in like des Moines.
- 41:33Speaker 3: The point of the Freedom Tower is to have it
- 41:35Speaker 3: be this visible thing.
- 41:37Speaker 11: Yeah, but it seems like it's at this point it's
- 41:39Speaker 11: almost a little too visible.
- 41:41Speaker 3: Well that was the whole point. They build it even taller.
- 41:44Speaker 11: Yeah, but then if they hit it again, then it's like, okay,
- 41:46Speaker 11: maybe we should Maybe it was a little too.
- 41:47Speaker 1: So you're saying to put it somewhere where they can't
- 41:49Speaker 1: even find it.
- 41:51Speaker 11: Exactly, yeah, bot flat, yes, flat, underground.
- 41:54Speaker 3: Flat, make it an Amazon. Here's the tunnels center that
- 41:58Speaker 3: us use the Jewish tunnels and build it down there.
- 42:00Speaker 1: Yeah, underground and just Indiana Jones like, yeah, two thousand
- 42:04Speaker 1: years from the house, I got to find the World Trades. Yeah,
- 42:06Speaker 1: it hid in myth of the World Trade Center.
- 42:09Speaker 3: Sass. If they took out the Empire State Building, would
- 42:12Speaker 3: you have us rebuild the Empire State Building.
- 42:19Speaker 1: It's kind of soft that it's just a state building.
- 42:22Speaker 11: The Empire State Building State already did have a plane
- 42:25Speaker 11: fly into it. Unless you guys didn't know that. You
- 42:32Speaker 11: thought nine to eleven was the first time a plane
- 42:34Speaker 11: hit a tower in New York. Of course, not a
- 42:37Speaker 11: plane hit the Empire State Building and they rebuilt it,
- 42:40Speaker 11: but it didn't. It didn't fall like the Twin Towers did.
- 42:46Speaker 1: Yes, exactly, fucking you didn't know that, did you?
- 42:50Speaker 11: And you're pissed you didn't know it?
- 42:52Speaker 3: No, I didn't know.
- 42:52Speaker 1: In the Godzilla movie. No, that's what that movie's about.
- 42:58Speaker 1: Have you ever seen Godzilla? Godilla climbs to the top
- 43:01Speaker 1: of the building, there's planes flying around it.
- 43:03Speaker 11: Well, I think that the planes are trying to shoot
- 43:04Speaker 11: down Godzilla.
- 43:05Speaker 1: Right exactly, That's what was happening in that story. You're
- 43:08Speaker 1: talking about it unless you didn't know that because you
- 43:11Speaker 1: could look it up. Why were there planes around Godzilla?
- 43:15Speaker 3: I am curious about your answer to that question. I
- 43:17Speaker 3: think that's an interesting one. Would you have us rebuild
- 43:20Speaker 3: the Empire State Building? Call it something gift different, build
- 43:23Speaker 3: it as much in the likeness, similar to what the
- 43:27Speaker 3: French just did with Notre Dame.
- 43:29Speaker 11: It's like, yeah, I was in nineteen forty five B
- 43:32Speaker 11: twenty five bomber flew straight into the Empire State Building intentionally.
- 43:35Speaker 11: No fog missed it or didn't miss it.
- 43:42Speaker 1: This story, I mean, you have a dark you have
- 43:45Speaker 1: a dark streak right now. Why, I don't know. I'm
- 43:50Speaker 1: with you, just loving on the idea of.
- 43:54Speaker 3: Rooting the terrorists.
- 43:56Speaker 11: Yeah, what are you guys talking about?
- 43:59Speaker 3: You're talking about which targets would be the best bang
- 44:01Speaker 3: for their buck.
- 44:03Speaker 11: You said, are you worried about living in New York
- 44:05Speaker 11: City due to that we are the number one target?
- 44:08Speaker 1: You have it in your mind that we could take
- 44:11Speaker 1: an l to the terrorists that they could win.
- 44:14Speaker 11: I'm not I don't have it in my mind. I'm
- 44:15Speaker 11: thinking realistically, and we're saying to the I'm saying, and
- 44:19Speaker 11: if it were to happen again, I think you gotta
- 44:23Speaker 11: you gotta draw, like that's a lot of people that
- 44:25Speaker 11: are dying. Like at a certain point we got to
- 44:26Speaker 11: be like, Okay, maybe it's just not the best idea
- 44:28Speaker 11: to have this year.
- 44:29Speaker 1: You're saying maybe like an empty building.
- 44:31Speaker 11: No, I'm saying maybe like maybe a decoy.
- 44:35Speaker 3: You would have them build a decoy.
- 44:37Speaker 1: No, like maybe move it to another like, move move
- 44:39Speaker 1: it to Denver, inside the Washington Monument, move it somewhere
- 44:42Speaker 1: like more central America.
- 44:43Speaker 11: That it's going to take a little heart like to
- 44:46Speaker 11: be a little harder for the planes.
- 44:47Speaker 1: To Yeah, put it in Central America, because if the
- 44:51Speaker 1: planes were hijacked in Boston and they had to go
- 44:54Speaker 1: all the way to Denver, she would they were gotten
- 44:55Speaker 1: shot down before they got to Denver. You think the
- 44:59Speaker 1: northeast cor is too densely populated with the good ship, Yes,
- 45:04Speaker 1: and you need to put some of the good ship
- 45:05Speaker 1: in South Dakota.
- 45:07Speaker 11: Yeah, I mean, dude, that's like, that's like real America
- 45:09Speaker 11: the West, like throw it out there.
- 45:12Speaker 3: You're saying New York's not real America. No it is.
- 45:15Speaker 11: But it's like you like, throw the World Trade Center
- 45:17Speaker 11: and fucking or something.
- 45:20Speaker 3: You're just saying, why it has to be in New York?
- 45:23Speaker 1: Uh? Yeah, for Wall Street?
- 45:26Speaker 11: For Wall Street?
- 45:27Speaker 3: Doesn't the World Trade Center had to I think it
- 45:30Speaker 3: had to be here, well, because that's I don't know.
- 45:33Speaker 3: I actually don't know the answer to that. I don't
- 45:35Speaker 3: know why.
- 45:35Speaker 1: I mean, from the name of it, it sounds like all
- 45:37Speaker 1: the trade in the world is happening.
- 45:38Speaker 3: Yeah, right, that's kind of it, right, Like, isn't this
- 45:40Speaker 3: the epicenter of trade in America and industry business?
- 45:46Speaker 1: So you want to move Wall Street and all the
- 45:48Speaker 1: hard working brothers down on Wall Street out to fucking Wyoming.
- 45:50Speaker 1: You want to outsource New York's fucking jobs. I'm just
- 45:54Speaker 1: saying because you're scared of the town. I'm not saying
- 45:55Speaker 1: right now.
- 45:56Speaker 11: I'm saying, Look, I love the Freedom Tower and I
- 45:59Speaker 11: love the Statue of Liberty. You wouldn't even have State building.
- 46:02Speaker 1: You never heard me say that trying to convince people
- 46:05Speaker 1: that I love the Freedom Tower.
- 46:06Speaker 11: I'm just saying, no things were if history were to
- 46:09Speaker 11: repeat itself, like maybe at a certain point, Like, guys,
- 46:13Speaker 11: we had to come up with a better plan here
- 46:14Speaker 11: rather than just building the target back up again. People
- 46:17Speaker 11: say that people are people are gonna be like, hey,
- 46:19Speaker 11: I don't want to work in that fucking building. It's
- 46:20Speaker 11: gone down twice, right.
- 46:22Speaker 1: The word the the World Trade Center is about, you know,
- 46:26Speaker 1: trade for the entire world. Obviously, the Empire State Building
- 46:29Speaker 1: is a testament to the Empire State, so it's like,
- 46:31Speaker 1: if you attack that, then you're attacking New York, not
- 46:35Speaker 1: the United States as a whole. The Chrysler Building, though,
- 46:39Speaker 1: is just a monument to corporate greed. I feel like
- 46:44Speaker 1: we could all get behind the Chrysler building.
- 46:49Speaker 11: I don't know, Yeah, I don't know.
- 46:50Speaker 3: You don't like that look.
- 46:51Speaker 11: I mean it seems like you guys are just trying
- 46:53Speaker 11: to plan a terrorist attack. So I'm kind of falling back.
- 46:55Speaker 1: Now, we're trying to fucking yes, and you're terrorist attack idea.
- 46:58Speaker 3: You're them a map now and admitted preemptive defense.
- 47:01Speaker 11: I was, honestly, I was on the side of like
- 47:05Speaker 11: terrorist defense, Like I was like defending against terrorism. I'm
- 47:08Speaker 11: trying to think of a better plan.
- 47:09Speaker 1: No, you're giving them the playbook, being like, this is
- 47:11Speaker 1: how you could make us quit fighting.
- 47:13Speaker 3: You Yeah, you would, you waved the white flag. But
- 47:17Speaker 3: here's my question. They say that after nine to eleven
- 47:20Speaker 3: everybody came together and was a lot nicer to each other.
- 47:23Speaker 3: How many nine to elevens would have to happen for
- 47:25Speaker 3: you to carry a suitcase for an old woman up
- 47:28Speaker 3: the stairs of the subway for your civic radar to tune.
- 47:35Speaker 11: Dude, to be fully honest, like, if nine to eleven
- 47:37Speaker 11: happened while I was living here, I'm gone. What do
- 47:40Speaker 11: you mean, Like, I'm not staying in New York?
- 47:44Speaker 1: Oh for that day? You mean? Or just forever?
- 47:46Speaker 11: No, for I'm out because you're because you're scared. Yeah,
- 47:50Speaker 11: I know. I just be like, this isn't worth it,
- 47:51Speaker 11: It sucks.
- 47:53Speaker 3: I'll all move. You're pretty close to that right now.
- 47:56Speaker 11: I'll move to Hoboken.
- 47:59Speaker 1: Just move to Jersey City. Yeah, so still like within
- 48:03Speaker 1: the blast radius, man, not like direct. You're saying, no
- 48:08Speaker 1: one's attacking Jersey City. Yeah, no one's attacking West New York.
- 48:12Speaker 11: No.
- 48:15Speaker 1: I mean, I guess I thought that you were saying
- 48:16Speaker 1: you would go to Oklahoma and Brunswick. Yeah, go down
- 48:23Speaker 1: to Rutgers. Yeah, I mean they have shows every week. Yeah,
- 48:28Speaker 1: good football, good basket, really good basketball, great basketball. Are
- 48:31Speaker 1: you they started that restaurant? Are you Hungry? Did you
- 48:34Speaker 1: guys ever have that in college? Are you Hungry? It
- 48:37Speaker 1: was a big thing at Penn State. They had it
- 48:39Speaker 1: at other colleges Rutgers obviously, but they sandwiches. Yet, you
- 48:43Speaker 1: were a liar. You did go for a touch and
- 48:45Speaker 1: you could have had one of these sandwiches. It's called
- 48:46Speaker 1: a fat bitch, you know those sandwiches. Tyler knows what
- 48:50Speaker 1: the fuck I'm talking about. Where it's like, we are
- 48:52Speaker 1: five mozzarella sticks in a cheese steak with chicken fingers
- 48:58Speaker 1: and fries on top of it. Just weaponize gluttony. I
- 49:02Speaker 1: don't know if that would be something you'd be into.
- 49:04Speaker 11: That sounds something I would not be into.
- 49:06Speaker 1: Not you, obviously, your shits would be generational after that.
- 49:09Speaker 11: I've been ripping those supplements. They've been doing will working wonders.
- 49:12Speaker 1: Are you serious?
- 49:14Speaker 11: I don't know.
- 49:16Speaker 3: You don't know if you're serious or I don't know
- 49:19Speaker 3: if they're.
- 49:19Speaker 11: Doing anything, But I feel good, Yeah, and I take
- 49:21Speaker 11: them and I'm like, I feel hell. I'm like, I'm
- 49:23Speaker 11: getting healthier.
- 49:24Speaker 1: You're not gonna feel high, You're gonna feel less bad things. Yeah,
- 49:27Speaker 1: and maybe some better poopies.
- 49:29Speaker 3: So some of that can be the gazebo effect. But yeah,
- 49:32Speaker 3: I would think that for you, it actually probably is helping. Yeah,
- 49:36Speaker 3: do you know about the gazebo effect.
- 49:38Speaker 11: I do.
- 49:38Speaker 1: They're thinking of the Toledo effect.
- 49:41Speaker 3: That's where he wants to build the new freedom down.

- 51:26Speaker 1: Better Help. How do you stay cozy during the winter months?
- 51:29Speaker 1: Can I ask that of you?
- 51:30Speaker 3: Guys? I usually eat much spice your food.
- 51:35Speaker 1: It warms you from the inside. That's right, kind of
- 51:37Speaker 1: gets you, gets the motor running, yep, as it were.
- 51:40Speaker 1: For me, wrapping up in a blanket with a mug

- 51:54Speaker 1: never goes away even when the season changes. Is that
- 51:58Speaker 1: ad copy for us?
- 51:59Speaker 3: Do you think certainly feels like it? I mean, I'm
- 52:01Speaker 3: glad Sass isn't reading it because the name of the
- 52:04Speaker 3: company is Better Help, which is not what he does
- 52:06Speaker 3: whenever he sees someone who needs it right exactly.
- 52:08Speaker 1: They actually will help you like therapy, and it does
- 52:11Speaker 1: give me that kind of cozy feeling. Yeah, you know,
- 52:14Speaker 1: it definitely does. I mean I've used Better Help personally.
- 52:17Speaker 1: I can tell you that better than I could spin
- 52:20Speaker 1: a yarn about some sentence I'm reading. I call him
- 52:22Speaker 1: up and I just do it right over the phone,
- 52:24Speaker 1: And that's your option. You could do it face to
- 52:26Speaker 1: face you could do it and video. You could do
- 52:29Speaker 1: it over the phone just talking to somebody. You can
- 52:31Speaker 1: even do it in text. It's really that simple.
- 52:33Speaker 3: I don't know if you guys have noticed, but I'm
- 52:35Speaker 3: actually doing a lot better with help, just with my
- 52:37Speaker 3: mental health. And I got a haircut and I've kind

- 53:14Speaker 3: Bucked.

- 53:20Speaker 1: probably are getting ripped off by your current mobile phone carrier.

- 53:27Speaker 3: You on unfucked.
- 53:28Speaker 11: Yes, and that's what I need.

- 53:33Speaker 11: And I'm trying to get unfucked, which is why I'm
- 53:35Speaker 11: switching to Mobile X.

- 54:05Speaker 1: of a Boy Dad podcast. Very good. God, you have
- 54:09Speaker 1: to try, you have to keep at them. But I
- 54:11Speaker 1: feel like you do look better. You sound sharper, You
- 54:15Speaker 1: sound like you're on an alpha brain. You sound like
- 54:17Speaker 1: you're on a new trope.
- 54:18Speaker 11: I am. It's probably that decaf coffee.
- 54:22Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 54:23Speaker 11: I was out in Grand Rapids this weekend, speaking of
- 54:26Speaker 11: new tropes. Yeah, I was outing Grand Rapids. It was fun.
- 54:31Speaker 11: The shows were awesome, really good weekend.
- 54:35Speaker 1: Yeah, so the video looked incredible. Video the or whatever
- 54:39Speaker 1: still frame that you posted on your Instagram.
- 54:47Speaker 3: You reposted to someone else's story.
- 54:49Speaker 1: Saying that they're the best night of their life.
- 54:51Speaker 3: And they said something like my goat or something like that.
- 54:55Speaker 11: I believe those were the words they use, and you use.
- 54:57Speaker 3: That to thank them. But you could have just taken
- 55:01Speaker 3: the photo and written it over their caption, but you
- 55:03Speaker 3: wanted everyone to see that they that person thought you
- 55:06Speaker 3: were the goat.
- 55:07Speaker 11: H No, to be honest, I wanted to thank everyone
- 55:10Speaker 11: for coming to the show, and only one person tagged
- 55:13Speaker 11: me in a photo from the entire weekend, so I
- 55:15Speaker 11: had no other options.
- 55:16Speaker 1: You can't tell it makes it seem like you're like, oh,
- 55:19Speaker 1: there's probably dozens of those.
- 55:20Speaker 11: Yeah, yeah, I don't know what happened. Like I feel
- 55:23Speaker 11: like when I first started doing stand up, like every
- 55:25Speaker 11: show I would do, i'd leave and they'd be like,
- 55:27Speaker 11: I'd have like one hundred people tagging me in photos.
- 55:30Speaker 11: Not now it's like a full weekend. If I get one,
- 55:32Speaker 11: I'm lucky.
- 55:32Speaker 3: Clubs might be getting much more vigilant about not letting
- 55:36Speaker 3: people take photos and videos.
- 55:38Speaker 11: Yeah, I mean, I don't care as as long as
- 55:39Speaker 11: people are watching the show and paying attention.
- 55:42Speaker 1: Would you prefer someone watch the show and pay attention
- 55:44Speaker 1: or get like six people tagging you so it looks
- 55:48Speaker 1: like lots of people are at your shows taking video
- 55:50Speaker 1: and stuff.
- 55:51Speaker 11: Definitely the latter No, definitely pay attention and watch the show.
- 55:57Speaker 1: I think you should be letting people know right now
- 55:59Speaker 1: that it's okay hey to take pictures, even people who
- 56:02Speaker 1: are listening, like tag the fuck out his ass.
- 56:04Speaker 11: No, why it'll be good promo because I'm not gonna
- 56:07Speaker 11: repost most of them. Why because I'm not. I'm just
- 56:10Speaker 11: not gonna do.
- 56:11Speaker 1: That because you're not that you're a humble guy.
- 56:13Speaker 11: I'm not that guy.
- 56:15Speaker 1: Yeah, you're humbles out.
- 56:16Speaker 11: But it was great. I mean, like I thought I
- 56:19Speaker 11: was gonna sell zero tickets sold out, like almost all
- 56:23Speaker 11: of the shows except for a Thursday.
- 56:24Speaker 1: Where is Grand Rapids Upper Peninsula.
- 56:26Speaker 11: I don't know, I dude, I don't know anything about
- 56:28Speaker 11: Grand Rapids. It was it was like three degrees there
- 56:30Speaker 11: the entire time I was there, and I didn't have
- 56:33Speaker 11: a rental car, and there's like no like the closest
- 56:37Speaker 11: like CVS was like four miles away. So I literally
- 56:40Speaker 11: just stayed in the hotel the entire and the club
- 56:42Speaker 11: is literally directly across, like it's like a one hundred
- 56:46Speaker 11: foot walk from the hotel to the club. So I
- 56:49Speaker 11: would just like walk around the hotel all day and.
- 56:53Speaker 1: Like I'm finding it right now I'm geolocating Grand Rapids.
- 56:56Speaker 1: It's right by Lancing. It's about four clicks west Lancing Grizzly.
- 57:02Speaker 3: I was lancing some boils on my feet this weekend.
- 57:04Speaker 1: Yeah, you were your fucking boiled up feet.
- 57:07Speaker 3: I had ingrown toenails.
- 57:08Speaker 5: Uh.
- 57:09Speaker 11: I can't believe we made it out of Lansing.
- 57:11Speaker 1: Did you did you fly right into Grand Rapids?
- 57:14Speaker 11: I did.
- 57:14Speaker 1: It's pretty sweet.
- 57:15Speaker 3: Let's talk ball really quick. Just want to talk ball
- 57:19Speaker 3: really quick, if that's all right. Our fifteen pick parlay
- 57:24Speaker 3: we had one, two, three, four, five, You know I
- 57:28Speaker 3: was looking at it. We only lost seven, eight nine.
- 57:31Speaker 3: We went nine for twelve.
- 57:36Speaker 11: If and might might I add something on I believe
- 57:39Speaker 11: we only we only lost one bet where we predicted
- 57:43Speaker 11: the outcome of the game. The other ones that we
- 57:45Speaker 11: lost were all over unders.
- 57:47Speaker 3: I think we lost over on the Commander's Saints game.
- 57:50Speaker 3: And if the Saints, which when they scored at the
- 57:53Speaker 3: end of the game, had kicked a field goal excuse me,
- 57:57Speaker 3: kicked the extra point and gone to overtime and someone
- 58:00Speaker 3: had scored a touchdown, over would have hit the Dolphins.
- 58:05Speaker 3: The Dolphins did not come close to covering two and
- 58:07Speaker 3: a half so that was our biggest loss. That was annoying.
- 58:10Speaker 3: The under over on the Colts. Broncos pushed, so that
- 58:14Speaker 3: wouldn't have hurt us.
- 58:16Speaker 11: The Eagles one was devastating for me because I had
- 58:18Speaker 11: that in another parlay and I texted Mook and I
- 58:22Speaker 11: said I had a very large cash out option, and
- 58:26Speaker 11: I said, should I cash this out? Started the fourth quarter?
- 58:29Speaker 11: Needed ten more points and he said I would let
- 58:31Speaker 11: it ride. We're about to score anyway. Then you guys scored.
- 58:35Speaker 11: I'll need it was three more points. Somehow, you guys
- 58:37Speaker 11: were managed to run the clock down from eight minutes
- 58:39Speaker 11: ten many zero minutes.
- 58:41Speaker 1: Ten minutes to zero minutes.
- 58:42Speaker 11: I mean, that was maybe the worst ten minutes of
- 58:44Speaker 11: football I've ever got. Dude, the whole time it was.
- 58:47Speaker 1: Like a twenty two play eighty yard drive, which mathematically
- 58:51Speaker 1: is almost impossible because you have to get first down.
- 58:53Speaker 3: Yes, I think we're ignoring the point here, which is
- 58:56Speaker 3: that we were getting closer. Sure, we're getting closer.
- 58:59Speaker 1: Well, we're running out of weeks. We have three more
- 59:01Speaker 1: regular season weeks.
- 59:02Speaker 3: Lest you gotta bet. You gotta do it on your
- 59:04Speaker 3: phone next week.
- 59:06Speaker 1: Okay, you're gonna need to deposit some phones.
- 59:09Speaker 11: No, I got funds.
- 59:11Speaker 1: It's one hundred dollars.
- 59:12Speaker 11: Though I hit big yesterday.
- 59:15Speaker 3: Nice.
- 59:15Speaker 11: I had Bill's money line and shakh Heir to score
- 59:18Speaker 11: a touchdown.
- 59:18Speaker 1: That's nice.
- 59:19Speaker 3: I did pretty well yesterday. I had the Ravens covering,
- 59:23Speaker 3: and then I did a two pick parlay of the
- 59:25Speaker 3: Bengals and the Commanders to win both money lines, which
- 59:29Speaker 3: was still minus one thirty two. And I'll tell you what,
- 59:34Speaker 3: I was sweating that fucking two point conversion at the end.
- 59:37Speaker 3: Pretty heavy.
- 59:39Speaker 1: I think there's one thing that we definitely have to acknowledge.
- 59:42Speaker 1: It's that you were wrong about the Giants being able
- 59:46Speaker 1: to cover. You're like, fucking seventeen points. How are they
- 59:49Speaker 1: ever gonna cover? Like the nobody wins by seventeen points.
- 59:52Speaker 11: Yeah, I wasn't wrong about that, and they they won.
- 59:55Speaker 11: We didn't take that.
- 59:56Speaker 1: We didn't, right, But you were just so adamant, and
- 59:58Speaker 1: that's why we didn't take you.
- 59:59Speaker 11: Don't I think I was very adamant. I think I
- 1:00:01Speaker 11: was just like I think I said, it's it's seventeen points.
- 1:00:03Speaker 11: It's a lot of points.
- 1:00:04Speaker 3: You said that. All you said that about the Eagles
- 1:00:06Speaker 3: was right there, and then you were wrong about the Giants,
- 1:00:09Speaker 3: so we're gonna call.
- 1:00:10Speaker 11: So but I didn't like my being wrong there. I
- 1:00:13Speaker 11: was just giving what I thought and I was wrong,
- 1:00:15Speaker 11: but we didn't take it. You were adamant about the
- 1:00:19Speaker 11: Eagles being able to cover twelve, and then we had
- 1:00:21Speaker 11: to take it and then we lost. Yea, So my
- 1:00:24Speaker 11: wrong didn't hurt the team at all.
- 1:00:26Speaker 3: We did heaper scissors and then at that point you
- 1:00:28Speaker 3: can't ignore the result. Then that's God. Yeah.
- 1:00:32Speaker 11: But I'm just saying, like I like that, wasn't.
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: You wish to spit in the face of God?
- 1:00:38Speaker 11: No, I don't. I didn't my wrong. My being wrong
- 1:00:41Speaker 11: didn't hurt the team at all.
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: Yes, Well, just don't let it happen again, That's what
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: I'm saying. That's all I'm saying. We also have a
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: nice package from Okay, so what we're.
- 1:00:51Speaker 11: Talking some of our friends over at Spotify weird.
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: So I'm boxing live jer you want to open this?

- 1:01:16Speaker 11: It's covered in a wet snow.
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: How do they keep it wet?
- 1:01:21Speaker 11: I don't know, but it's the texture of it. I'm
- 1:01:23Speaker 11: not I will say I'm not thrilled on.
- 1:01:25Speaker 3: We might have wanted to open this sooner.
- 1:01:27Speaker 11: It might have wanted to keep it refrigerated.

- 1:01:55Speaker 1: No, I have to have this candle. God damn. I
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: took afron last night, so I'll be able to smell
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: the inside of this candle.
- 1:02:01Speaker 3: Pass it down.
- 1:02:02Speaker 11: Smells great? Describe it lavender? Just kidding, it's not lavender.

- 1:05:02Speaker 3: Thank you Spotify. I love Spotify, I really love it.
- 1:05:08Speaker 3: Did you guys watch that mini series that was made
- 1:05:10Speaker 3: about Spotify? I think it was on Hulu or something
- 1:05:12Speaker 3: about how Spotify came to be?
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: I didn't. I didn't hear the good word. I'm waiting
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: to do my Spotify wrapped. I might not even open
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: it this year. I don't want to see what's inside,
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: what's the what's their story.
- 1:05:23Speaker 3: Well, what was interesting about Spotify was that like getting
- 1:05:28Speaker 3: the coding and the engineering to the point where the
- 1:05:30Speaker 3: second you clicked on the song it started playing. They
- 1:05:33Speaker 3: had to get it down the buffering speed to because
- 1:05:37Speaker 3: they got it to like point three seconds or something,
- 1:05:42Speaker 3: and the guy was like, that's not fast enough because
- 1:05:46Speaker 3: you double click it and there'd be point three seconds
- 1:05:48Speaker 3: and then it would start and there was some time
- 1:05:51Speaker 3: interval where the human mind cannot differentiate between that amount
- 1:05:55Speaker 3: of time and something being instantaneous. And that was what
- 1:05:59Speaker 3: they had to get it to, damn, and getting it
- 1:06:01Speaker 3: there required building their own servers and like all this
- 1:06:05Speaker 3: crazy stuff. And I just think that in an age
- 1:06:09Speaker 3: when Apple and Google seem to have like completely monopolized
- 1:06:13Speaker 3: Attack and Facebook and stuff, for there have been to
- 1:06:16Speaker 3: have been in his upstart music streaming service Spotify that
- 1:06:19Speaker 3: like overtook Apple Music and iTunes and jay Z's title
- 1:06:24Speaker 3: and all this stuff and emerged and remains the must
- 1:06:30Speaker 3: have music streaming service. Is a pretty incredible feat.
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: It is must have it.
- 1:06:36Speaker 3: You can't live without Spotify.
- 1:06:38Speaker 11: It's crazy, No, it's definitely top dog.
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: I never even tried the other ones. No excepvert to
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: listen to Son of a Boy Dad podcast. You can
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: find all podcasts anywhere, but especially Spotify and the other ones.
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: Better take Spotify's lead and start sending us some goodies,
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: some nice gift baskets or else we're gonna be pissed
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: if we don't get the title. Jay Z whatever, sexual
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: assault starter kid, whatever he's sending out these days. Just kidding.
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: I heard that was all fake. Did you guys hear
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: that about jay Z?
- 1:07:10Speaker 11: He said that about P Diddy too.
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: I'm trying to defend my brothers.
- 1:07:15Speaker 11: About p Diddy. You were like, I heard that was
- 1:07:16Speaker 11: all fake. Yeah, and then like the next day he
- 1:07:19Speaker 11: was in prison.
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: It was. It took some months, but either Wool pulled
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: over my eyes too. I mean, I'm I can only
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: relay what I've heard.
- 1:07:30Speaker 11: The Drake stuff is definitely fake. Yes, we're team Drake.
- 1:07:34Speaker 11: I don't know if you know. Drake commented on runs

- 1:07:55Speaker 3: I think so, gotcha?

- 1:08:08Speaker 11: I thought it was the one that you and your
- 1:08:10Speaker 11: wife collabed on. I was gonna say that would have
- 1:08:11Speaker 11: been pretty funny. That must have been pretty crazy for
- 1:08:13Speaker 11: your wife to get that notification. Yeah, shan Pan Poppy
- 1:08:18Speaker 11: has left a comment on your post.
