- 0:05Welcome to The Hypnotist, the show that gives you inside
- 0:09access to cutting edge hypnosis with real clients facing
- 0:12genuine. Issues.
- 0:13Brought to you by The Hypnotherapist, demanded by
- 0:16celebrities, CEOs and even royalty, Adam Cox.
- 0:20These recordings took place live from Evans Clinic in London's
- 0:24world famous Harley Street. So get yourself comfortable and
- 0:31enjoy today's episode of The Hypnotist.
- 0:40Hi, it's Adam here, and you're about to listen to a hypnosis
- 0:44session all about connecting with the ability to be.
- 0:48Warm and loving and generous. And I was working with a client
- 0:53that grew up in quite a strict. Environment having older.
- 0:58Parents, one of which very strict and lots of rules and
- 1:03responsibilities, and the other one quite critical and something
- 1:07happened in their childhood that really had them.
- 1:10Feeling that. Their parents didn't support
- 1:13them or protect them or care for them in the way that they felt
- 1:17they should. And that created a lot of.
- 1:20Anger. And resentment.
- 1:22And. To some extent, hate for a
- 1:25period and a consequence of that is that it made it more
- 1:30difficult for them to be loving in the way that they wanted to
- 1:34be loving with, you know, affection and kind of more of
- 1:39that genuine kind of warmth because they.
- 1:42Didn't really experience that. As a child.
- 1:45So what this hypnosis session does is an element of in a
- 1:48child. Work of timeline.
- 1:50Therapy of going back and doing two things.
- 1:54One imagining A childhood that they would have wanted, but also
- 1:58imagining taking the perception of a.
- 2:00Father. And being the father to that
- 2:03child in the way that that child would have wanted to have been
- 2:06fathered. Now with timeline.
- 2:09Therapy. You can't actually change the
- 2:10past. Nobody has a time machine to
- 2:13actually change the past. But what you can do is by
- 2:16changing connotations. And meanings you.
- 2:20Start accessing different ripples through time that mean
- 2:23that if that one thing didn't happen, it then updates all the
- 2:27way to the present. That's the essence of timeline.
- 2:29Therapy to look at the point of inception and then create a new
- 2:33timeline that is more useful for what the client desires.
- 2:37And what the client desires is to be not intellectually know
- 2:42that they love certain people, but actually be more loving and
- 2:45feel more loving. And there's also an element of
- 2:48the lore of the lid here, which is there's only the.
- 2:52Ability to receive. Love in the same way that you
- 2:56can kind. Of really connect.
- 2:58With that self love within So what this does is is heal that
- 3:02kind of inner child as a part as a metaphor, but giving them
- 3:06permission to therefore give more love and receive more love
- 3:10too. So if you.
- 3:12Feel an element of. Emotional detachment or it's
- 3:16difficult for you to say certain words or be around certain
- 3:21people in a in a loving way, then you might get some value
- 3:23from this session. Just be aware though that.
- 3:27It was created for an. Individual and therefore certain
- 3:30situations like being sent to a specific school or they love
- 3:35surfing as a child. Some of these suggestions and
- 3:38references might not quite calibrate to you and your
- 3:40situation, so just hone into the ones that do connect and
- 3:45disregard anything that doesn't. And if you.
- 3:48Do like the idea of working with me directly There will be a link
- 3:51in the description where you can schedule a free consultation
- 3:54call and we can have a chat on Zoom and I can explain how I
- 3:58work and and everything about what it would mean if we're
- 4:01working together so that I'm your.
- 4:04Hypnotherapist rather. Than you just listening to
- 4:06these. Recordings.
- 4:07So if. That's of interest.
- 4:08Check that out. For now though.
- 4:10Find a quiet. Comfortable place where you
- 4:12won't be disturbed. Relax and enjoy the session.
- 4:45Take a deep breath in, and as you breathe in, breathe in that
- 4:53feeling of calm relaxation, and as you exhale, feel that
- 5:00wonderful feeling of release, as if any stress, any worries, any
- 5:07tension is slowly but surely leaving your body in that
- 5:16outward breath, breathing in, relaxation and exhaling tension.
- 5:26Each breath takes you deeper and deeper, relaxed.
- 5:36That's it. The deeper you breathe, the more
- 5:42relaxed you feel. And the more relaxed you feel,
- 5:47the deeper you breathe. And just allow your mind to take
- 5:53you to that place. The place where after each
- 6:00breath, you relax a bit more, letting go of any any sensations
- 6:10that don't belong. Feel the surface of your mind
- 6:16quietening, and maybe you can feel something deeper emerging.
- 6:25A peaceful awareness No. Judgement nothing to.
- 6:33Do just awareness. Simply be here now.
- 6:46Allowing any thoughts, emotions, or evaluations to naturally
- 6:53rise, to naturally change, to feel how good it would feel, to
- 7:04just align. Just like you can trust your
- 7:12subconscious mind to show you exactly.
- 7:17What's ready to? Be changed, Healed.
- 7:22Or updated. And I wonder if you could
- 7:27imagine what it would be like to keep your physical body where it
- 7:34is, and to imagine floating upwards as if your body stays
- 7:43exactly where it is, but your awareness drifts almost like an
- 7:51out of body experience. Light, effortless, floating high
- 7:58above. And from this higher vantage
- 8:03point, I want you to imagine what it would be like to see the
- 8:09timeline of your life stretching out beneath you.
- 8:12On one side the past, and on the other the future.
- 8:21And directly beneath you see yourself with your eyes closed,
- 8:27deeply relaxed, undergoing something that could lead to
- 8:34profound change. And I want you to look at that
- 8:40timeline that takes you backwards, all the way back to
- 8:45your past, and just allow your subconscious mind to guide you.
- 8:53Perhaps to just. Before the earliest time of.
- 9:02Any. Form of emotional distance.
- 9:07Maybe it was a time when there was a shift from unconditional
- 9:12love as a baby to then suddenly rules, expectations,
- 9:21responsibilities. But your mind can take you
- 9:25there. Maybe a time before the life you
- 9:34had suddenly changed, maybe before there were chores and
- 9:41responsibilities. And I want you to see, just
- 9:46observe that life a conflict, the freedom to express yourself
- 9:56with friends and almost the requirement to be someone else
- 10:05when you were at home. Just observe what kind of love
- 10:15you received as a child. Was it tough love, conditional
- 10:23love, or warm expressive love, affection, support and care?
- 10:35I want you to observe it as it was, not as you wanted it to be,
- 10:41but as it was. But look at it with a
- 10:46detachment, like a scientist just observing an experiment.
- 10:56Maybe raise voices, consequences, pressure, maybe
- 11:05even a moment of what felt like to you at the time as
- 11:11abandonment, rejection, even betrayal.
- 11:19And maybe that child didn't feel the love.
- 11:26Maybe that child couldn't understand how criticism or
- 11:33rules responsibility or being moved to live somewhere else was
- 11:41love. And that's understandable
- 11:48because the child that felt unseen or unheard, unsupported
- 11:55or not cared for, the child that grew up as though love had
- 12:02conditions, some things that were required to be worthy of
- 12:08that love that maybe had to earn through performance, to adopt A
- 12:17role, to be obedient or be successful.
- 12:26And as you observe from above, just get a sense then, isn't it
- 12:35understandable if that early experience of how to express
- 12:43love was detached, that would lay the foundations to hold back
- 12:50from fully expressing. And as you imagine stepping
- 12:59toward that younger version of you, now see them notice you the
- 13:07adult that you've become, stronger, wiser, very different
- 13:17from your father. And as you meet with that
- 13:23younger version of you, I want you to let them know with your
- 13:29eyes, your tone and your presence, that you see them,
- 13:35that you understand. And I want you to give them a
- 13:42warm embrace, a hug, take an interest in their interests,
- 13:50maybe surfing the beach, who their friends are, what they
- 13:56like to do. Tell them that they were always
- 14:04enough, they didn't get it wrong.
- 14:10I want you to get a sense of giving them a feeling of
- 14:15reassurance. I want you to imagine a beam of
- 14:23light from your heart to theirs, feeling like there is a
- 14:27connection between you as you are now, and them as they were.
- 14:39But given that this is. Just your imagination.
- 14:44Let's try changing some of that history.
- 14:49Just imagine you're an invisible observer and rewind everything.
- 14:59And just imagine from being a young child, seeing that child
- 15:07get everything that you feel that would have been useful,
- 15:11helpful, necessary. See yourself with those hugs,
- 15:21smiles, play, shared activities, deep conversations.
- 15:32See yourself getting the support, someone that has your
- 15:36back. Maybe you imagine your parents
- 15:42with those qualities. They grew up at their time.
- 15:51Perhaps they did the best they could with the resources they
- 15:54had, but imagine your father being warmer, less strict, more
- 16:03caring, more supportive, and perhaps your mother being more
- 16:08encouraging, affectionate, supportive.
- 16:17And just observe and see how that younger version of you,
- 16:23that boy, changes, changes their interactions.
- 16:31It's safe. Safe to communicate, safe to ask
- 16:38for help, safe to give a compliment or receive a
- 16:46compliment. See the child with parents as
- 16:55they could have been, celebrating effort more than
- 17:00outcome and offering comfort instead of correction.
- 17:09And watch as that younger you receives love freely, hearing
- 17:17words like we're proud of you, we love you no matter what,
- 17:22You're safe here, we've got your back.
- 17:29And notice how that inner child of yours begins to change.
- 17:35Be less guarded, less distant. Their shoulders relax, their
- 17:39breathing deepens, their eyes light up again.
- 17:43And once you've seen that, just rewind everything until your
- 17:52back as a young child. But I want you to imagine
- 17:58stepping into your father almost like it's an avatar, that you
- 18:06get to play that role the way you.
- 18:08Would have wanted to have. Played it, but if you can go
- 18:13back in time and father yourself the way you would have wanted to
- 18:19have been, just take that perceptual position now.
- 18:28Notice what's. Different words of
- 18:33encouragement, support, taking a deep interest, helping them.
- 18:43I want you to get a feeling then this version of you being the
- 18:52father that you would. Have wanted to have.
- 18:57Had parenting you in the way you would have wanted to have been
- 19:01parented. And I want you to notice how it
- 19:06feels to be nurturing, to be caring.
- 19:14And I want you to come to a conclusion that the more loving,
- 19:19caring, affectionate and supportive you are with that
- 19:24child. The more it.
- 19:27Will ripple through time. All the way up.
- 19:31To your present, feel what it's like to father yourself,
- 19:40providing that affection, that patience, that fun, All the
- 19:45things that you feel were missing before.
- 19:51Maybe you're the one to teach them how to surf, taking them to
- 19:59the beach, playing with them as they go on that skateboard,
- 20:08spending time with them on the beach when their friends come
- 20:12over. There's no chores for them to
- 20:15do. You organise fun things.
- 20:21I want you to get a feeling that the bond between you and your
- 20:25inner child strengthens an unbreakable connection built on
- 20:32kindness, not control. And just allow that feeling of
- 20:37unconditional warmth fill every cell of your body from your
- 20:43heart, expending outwards like sunlight.
- 20:50And then take on the position of the child.
- 20:55And I want you to feel that you're in that version of you as
- 21:01a child at about 12 years old. And I want you to feel that
- 21:09there is a conversation about maybe behaviour at school or
- 21:15something else, but the tone you hear from your father and your
- 21:21mother is curious, compassionate, understanding.
- 21:27They really understand your perspective.
- 21:32They just imagine then what happened.
- 21:38Being sent away to a different school doesn't happen because
- 21:43that connection, that bond, that support, that love was there.
- 21:55And then imagine floating back above your timeline again with
- 22:04that younger self safely integrated and look down along
- 22:10the years that follow, not sent to a different school time to
- 22:19really develop. But I want you to see, see your
- 22:25future, where from then to now you're just as driven, just as
- 22:33hard working, just as ambitious. But see yourself expressing love
- 22:42more generously, kind words, compliments, thinking of other
- 22:53people consideration and not just doing things for other
- 23:00people, spending time with them, your energy, your words, your
- 23:10presence and your attention. See it changing throughout your
- 23:17teenage years, early adulthood, moments of success and
- 23:23challenges. But I want you to see yourself
- 23:29with elevated levels of love and connection, affection and
- 23:36support. And as you drift above each
- 23:40memory, notice how they subtly update.
- 23:45Old moments now infuse with more compassion, more humor, more
- 23:50ease, and you're reminded of those enthusiastic, loving
- 23:58archetypes. Successful, strong, and yet
- 24:02affectionate and warm. Each version of you along that
- 24:08timeline receives a ripple of love from this moment.
- 24:15The child no longer alone, the teenager no longer an outsider
- 24:21and defensive, the young man no longer angry and disconnected.
- 24:30It's as if all of those earlier selves finally no they were
- 24:37loved all along, and as you drift to the present, see
- 24:45yourself looking relaxed exactly as you are now.
- 24:49But then follow. Forward into the future, float
- 24:56forwards and observe. The coming.
- 24:58Days, weeks, and years. See yourself being more generous
- 25:04with your time, your presence, more affectionate with your
- 25:09words, your embraces, until you see yourself in a near future
- 25:16moment where love is not forced and not intellectualised, but
- 25:24expressed naturally, sincerely and openly.
- 25:30Maybe you're with a member of your family That was difficult
- 25:35to really express that feeling, so then observe how you offer
- 25:43affection without hesitation, or maybe with your partner feeling
- 25:50warmth and connection flowing freely through you and when
- 25:57you're sure that's what you. See float into.
- 25:59That future version of you then notice how authentic it feels.
- 26:08Not forced or artificial. But.
- 26:13Simple, genuine and true. Notice how your body feels
- 26:22lighter, your heart feels open. There is nothing disingenuous.
- 26:32You can be expressive and loving.
- 26:33Feel the love, Have that consideration, that care without
- 26:41trying to force it. And you're not even trying to
- 26:46feel love. It's now something you're just
- 26:50doing and experiencing and as you connect.
- 26:56With these future moments. Know that your subconscious mind
- 27:01is already reprogramming the patterns of the past.
- 27:06Like it's updating. Your emotional blueprint to
- 27:11reflect this new integrated self.
- 27:17It's time to drift back from the future, seeing the ripple from
- 27:23the past all the way up to the present and beyond.
- 27:27As you float above your present, I want you to imagine that if
- 27:33love had a feeling, a location where it would be in your.
- 27:39Body. I just feel that expanding,
- 27:43maybe there in your chest, starting to glow, starting to
- 27:50vibrate, and as you float back into your physical body in the
- 27:58present. Take that.
- 28:00Wonderful. Feeling with you.
- 28:04So that the past. And the future collide into the
- 28:06present. Unlocking something that was.
- 28:12Always your nature and now it has permission to be owned and
- 28:22shared. Very soon I will count from 1:00
- 28:26to. 10 to awaken you. So take a deep breath in through
- 28:31your nose and out through your nose.
- 28:35Wiggle your fingers, wiggle your toes, connect and calibrate into
- 28:40the. Here and the now and when I
- 28:43count. From 1:00 to 10:00 you will
- 28:45awaken feeling refreshed. Rejuvenated, but more
- 28:50importantly, connected. To that loving, caring, warm
- 28:56side of your personality. Starting to count 123 Waking up
