- 0:00Because fuck You That's Why is a founding member of the Odd Pods Media Network.
- 0:36Hello, and welcome to episode one eighty five Because fuck You That's Why.
- 0:41The well not only podcast. It's one of two that we know of
- 0:45podcasts that we know that provides a panel show experience like the ones we loved
- 0:50from Britain watching in our in our past years with Jorge and all that.
- 0:55And we just decided to make a podcast. And now we're here at like
- 0:58one hundred and eighty five some episodes more if you count the ones that we
- 1:03counted wrong. You know it. It was a weird time. It is
- 1:10what it is, uh and uh, it's just gonna be a regular show,
- 1:14but not quite a regular show because we have a couple of guests with
- 1:17us. It's the k Sisters, Kyla and Casey. Hello, Hello,
- 1:23and welcome. Excited to have you back yet again. We somehow didn't scare
- 1:26you off the first time, so you've returned long enough. Yeah. I
- 1:32was gonna say, yeah, you know all the tricks by this point,
- 1:34so can't get can't get anything by you anymore. Let's get onto our introductions.
- 1:40We've decided to split up the teams for the first time in a long
- 1:42time, the dream Team will not be playing together. We've matched each of
- 1:47the sisters up with each of the brothers, as it were. I'll miss
- 1:51you before we get into the introductions, I was just thinking pre show,
- 1:59you know how I was having a hard time getting my thoughts in order.
- 2:00I was thinking, you know, I really should get him down in some
- 2:02kind of book, and then I'm going to go on that Amazon trip I've
- 2:07always wanted to go on. Wait a minute, pre order book on Amazon.
- 2:10Wait a minute, my novel thing is available for pre order on Amazons.
- 2:21And if I could, I would shout that out to the entire world
- 2:24to hear, and just for just for my own self rich as I don't
- 2:31know, just just keep pulling that money in. I guess, no noble
- 2:37thing behind it whatsoever. Just pay me, but I money is thinking about
- 2:43that. What would you guys shout out to the entire world if you could?
- 2:47And I guess we will start with Kyla, Hi, Kyla, how
- 2:52are you doing good? I'm excited to be I mean, what I could
- 2:59tell the whole world. I mean, I'm tempted to say hydrate or diedrate,
- 3:01but I'm not because I know that that that's important to everybody else.
- 3:06But I will say read more complain less, read more complain less. I
- 3:12like that. Yeah, that's really good. Uh. And her teammate is
- 3:17going to be Uh he's a camera in a storyteller and he used to be
- 3:22my youngest friend. Now he's not. It's yeah, it's me. Oh
- 3:29what a profound question. Yeah, suck it. That don't like thinking that
- 3:38would be it? Yeah, you shout out to you suck at one opportunity
- 3:43to say something to the entire world, and you're just like degeneration XT make
- 3:49a billion friends or make a billion enemies. Suck it? All right,
- 3:57Well, I hope you like your teammate, Kyla, but you're stuck with
- 4:00them for the rest of the king. Sorry for me. And we'll go
- 4:03to the other team and I'll start with Casey Hi, Casey hi, eron,
- 4:06how's it going. I'm down, just excited and thrilled and happy and
- 4:10I'm ready to explode. But enough about me, let's talk about you.
- 4:15If there is one thing you could say to the entire world, what would
- 4:18it be. Well, my initial response would be by Aaron's book, Oh
- 4:27you get one chance to make it count? I would say, be nice
- 4:31to each other. The message as it were, like all the hatred in
- 4:42the world, and there was a couple of days ago, oh man,
- 4:46and so I want people to be nicer to each other and fewer bullets.
- 4:56It's just be nicer. It would be it would be, would be nice.
- 4:58Yeah, agreed, agreed, positivity for sure. Uh and her teammate,
- 5:02UH say, veteran and a podcaster. And as it turns out,
- 5:08he's a veteran podcaster. It's Stevie. Hi, Stevie, good afternoon.
- 5:12Okay. Now, I know not to expect much out of you for deep
- 5:15thoughts, right, though you occasionally have surprised me. Bring Allen, then,
- 5:19I mean, so what would you say to the entire world if you
- 5:24Initially I was going to suck up and see your book. No, you
- 5:28get one chance. But I figure I'm going to get anything. I gotta
- 5:30make it iconic and yell from my window. I'm mad as hell and I'm
- 5:35not going to take this. Yes, just go with a movie reference and
- 5:45hope for the best. I guess. Oh, come on, dude wants
- 5:47it. Let's get angry together and throw ship. I don't know if it
- 5:51works that way. But anyway, uh, let's get onto it. I've
- 5:55got three silly games. Our teams are going to play against each other.
- 5:58Playing these games, whichever teams almost points the end of the episode wins and
- 6:01gets a vacation. It's a beautiful downtown Lockport, New York. Travel not
- 6:09included, so nor are combinations nor anything else. So anyway we're gonna play.
- 6:17Our first game is like share block. I've got three news stories.
- 6:21All our teams have to do is figure out which one of the stories I
- 6:24would like, which one of them I would share, in which one I
- 6:27would block. There's always one four each and whichever team gets as close as
- 6:30they can to the correct combination will win the game and earn themselves one episode
- 6:34point. We're gonna go over all three stories first and then the teams can
- 6:38make up their minds as to what they want to do. And let's start
- 6:40with story number one. Sweden relocates entire town because of mineral deposit and also
- 6:47it's collapsing. This is I mean, they're all true stories. I always
- 6:53want to go this is true, and I'm like, that's the whole point.
- 6:55They're all true. It's true. But the city of Karuna is on
- 7:00the move. For the past couple of years, they have been polling buildings
- 7:02off of their foundation and moving them one by one instead of in some cases
- 7:09they are demolishing and rebuilding, but most of the buildings are literally just getting
- 7:13moved. And this is all due to the fact that they found a rare
- 7:16mineral underneath the city. And also it was always a mining town to begin
- 7:20with, and the mine underneath the town has made it dangerously unstable. Why
- 7:27underneath the town you're supposed to dig next of the town, not underneath it.
- 7:30It's like Centralia, Pennsylvania one of my favorite obsessions. Really, yeah,
- 7:33tell me so the show and or game Silent Hill and all that stuff
- 7:42that's all based on Centralia, Pennsylvania. There was a mine underneath the town.
- 7:46There was a fire that they couldn't get it to stop burning, so
- 7:49there would just be constant steam and cracks and everything. And they have they
- 7:55have sealed the city. There's people lived there until like ten years ago,
- 7:59I think, and they eliminated the highway exit, but people still track there
- 8:03and there's spray paint all over from people like going there. So anybody who
- 8:09want to buy some new hiking boots and come with me, and they never
- 8:11returned. It's not safe. So it's a rabbit hole that is fun to
- 8:22fall into. Let's bring a can for it. Yeah, and it's this
- 8:30fun. Sorry, So yeah, tangent going on any other thoughts about the
- 8:39city just packing up and moving. I assume a couple of miles down the
- 8:43road. Yer believable, Yeah, hyper believable. Yeah. How did they
- 8:48move the buildings without falling over like Jenga? Uh? They don't have them
- 8:52stacked up like Tetris pieces. I'm pretty sure they carry them like like servers
- 8:58got and make sure to carry another one and there. If you balance it
- 9:03on the platter well enough, you know you'd be fine. It's just take
- 9:07shape launch. Yes. I think they're already so good at engineering that like
- 9:13it just works like Ikia. I mean, I don't know about the whole
- 9:20SpongeBob SquarePants approach. Let's just pick it up and move it over here,
- 9:24But it seems to be working, I guess. And you know, people
- 9:28aren't you know, losing their lives Billion HILLI from giant collapses. They caught
- 9:31it in time, apparently, so they're like, oh, yeah, we
- 9:33better move now. I wonder. I wonder how many other mining towns are
- 9:37like that close to collapse that they just don't know. Yeah, yeah,
- 9:41yeah, Like these guys just happen to notice, probably because of all the
- 9:46fricking sinkholes that are dragging people down. Like imagine all their mining towns just
- 9:52like not even thinking about it, digging underneath the town like these guys did.
- 9:56Yeah, because they know it's happened elsewhere. I mean, that's what
- 9:58structural engineers are for, right, Yeah, there's also check that stuff beforehand.
- 10:03Right anyway, let's move on to news story number two, which is
- 10:13herd of sheep devours two hundred and twenty pounds of weed, gets the monchies
- 10:18and yeah, so this is interesting. This happened in Greece. There was
- 10:24a flood and a herd of sheep got loose from their paddock, and unfortunately
- 10:31for the the the marijuana farmer who lived right next door. Oh my god,
- 10:37there was a modern marijuana farm right next door, and the sheep wandered
- 10:41in and wandered into the greenhouse and just started eating. Oh my god.
- 10:48And before they were done, they had eaten two hundred and twenty pounds.
- 10:52People. It just says, just says a herd. I'm assuming that's like
- 11:01ten or more. Yeah, and I'm assuming that's ten to twenty maybe more
- 11:05than that, my god. But yeah, it wasn't immediately known that this
- 11:13was happening. I assumed the farmer was too busy and the and the sheep
- 11:24herder or the other farmer who owned the shepherd will did not notice that this
- 11:31happened. He only figured it out when he noticed that the sheep were behaving
- 11:35strangely. They were all napping and asking to watch reruns. I want to
- 11:41know where I can go to get a medicinal sheep. I like emotional support
- 11:48sheep. They're so fluffy, they just want to cuddle all day. It's
- 11:52awesome. The owner did not elaborate as to why they were behaving strangely,
- 11:56but I imagine it's much like you said, just well, people have goats
- 12:01like emotional support goats. Yeah, did they get them smokinges? And if
- 12:11you could get high with any animal, what animal would you like to get
- 12:15high with? Because they're already ship right schools of thought? Here? Would
- 12:24you would you get high with an animal that already lends itself to getting high?
- 12:28Like a basket hound, sloth or something else that's like very lazy or
- 12:35something that's like the opposite, like a hummingbird or a road runner or a
- 12:39cheetah. Yeah, like this is getting old. Why do I do this?
- 12:50Why do we talk about politics? Become the moaning bird that was supposed
- 13:01to be tiredness, not sex noises. But you know, take it out
- 13:05you will. Anyway, Let's move on to our third and final news story.
- 13:09And woh boy, I really like this one stray dog turns out to
- 13:15be world's first fox slash dog hybrid, then mysteriously dies. They just figured
- 13:24out that this this dog that had been found that had curiously large and pointed
- 13:28ears. They did a genetic study and the female animal is most probably the
- 13:35first of its kind, a hybrid between a South American pompous fox and a
- 13:41dog like a wild dog. Yes, the the name that they've designed to
- 13:48use for this animal is dogsome d og X I M. I don't understand
- 13:56it either, Like the fox. Uh sure, that's that's that's like make
- 14:03it sound cool like that dog. First of all, that's fucking stupid.
- 14:13Tell us how you really what would you name it that you couldn't anything else
- 14:20anyways, a docks or a fog A mog my best friend, that's okay
- 14:30with that? That would have made sense. God chance, I thought,
- 14:35But yeah, no spreads there either. It was I don't know, like
- 14:41when they found it, how old was becauld they identify how old it was?
- 14:46No anything, They just knew it barked like a dog, and its
- 14:48eyes and dark fur looked like those of a dog. But it's pointed ears
- 14:52and long snouts suggested otherwise. It also wouldn't eat dog food. It would
- 14:56only eat small rats. Huh. Yeah, here's what I bet. And
- 15:01I know I'm tangent city, but I bet there have been other ones,
- 15:05but this is the first one that they've actually been like, let's do some
- 15:09tests. Let's do a genetic test on it to make sure. And they
- 15:13did, and the animal went back to the zoo where it where it lived
- 15:18or was homed, and it almost immediately mysteriously passed away found secret under And
- 15:26this is the quote from the news story, unknown circumstances. Yes, it
- 15:31was government like all of the other animals were freaked out by it and murdered.
- 15:39It came I have I have the very real possible answer to that,
- 15:48though, as to why it just mysteriously died. So one of the big
- 15:54things you learn in animal husbandry is that when you have to move your animal
- 16:00all around, it can cause large amounts of stress on that animal, And
- 16:04stress on an animal in captivity is like one of the biggest killers. Yep.
- 16:08And it's very possible that the animal might have just gotten over stressed from
- 16:14all the testing and all that and then shipped back to its you know zoo,
- 16:18and all that moving around and all that might have overstressed the animal.
- 16:22Yeah. I've also been in a weak state of health anyways, because it
- 16:26didn't have a great genetic background exactly. Or somebody has had a fox and
- 16:30a dog and kept smashing them together until this thing happened. Yeah, that's
- 16:36how you make a new animal. Anyway, I want to thank you for
- 16:41taking all the fun out of that story I now have. Or maybe it
- 16:47was the Illuminati. I am now changing my answer for this game speaking which
- 16:53this is a game. You all have to figure out which one of these
- 16:57three stories I like, I said before the show I liked, and which
- 17:02one I would share and which one I would block. And because I introduced
- 17:06you first, I'll start with Kyla and Augie. What do you guys think?
- 17:08Remember the three stories were Sweden relocating an entire town, a herd of
- 17:12sheep devouring two hundred and twenty pounds of weed, and the stray dog that
- 17:18turned out to be a dog slash fox then not so mysteriously died. I
- 17:22feel like you would share the sheep in the pot because that's hilarious, right,
- 17:29and you know stoners, so you know enough people would be reacting to
- 17:33it too, so you'll know that. Yeah, right, Like, doesn't
- 17:38seem like the sheep are harmed in any way either. Oh no, no,
- 17:42now for terms of like like, oh, I'm thinking he normally would
- 17:49have blocked the fog. No no, no, no no, he normally
- 17:56would have blocked the moving the town, but since it's sad, he might
- 18:00block the fog, dog dog fox, the double homicide murder. Yea,
- 18:08they killed both the dog and a man, the fox the docks and should
- 18:15be Oh do you agree? So yeah, block block the husbandry and like
- 18:22the moving to town, so share sheep, we'd block the dog fox and
- 18:27like the Sweden relocating. Okay, uh, that means that Casey and Stevie
- 18:34you are allowed to keep one of those if you think they're right about one
- 18:37of them, but you'll have to switch the other two or you can come
- 18:40up with your entirely own combination. Okay, I did not pick the same
- 18:45thing as they did. I don't know if you did or not. I
- 18:48thought that they he would still share the sheep oh, yeah, obviously because
- 18:52it's ridiculous exactly getting shared. But I think we swapped the other two.
- 18:57Yeah, block the Sweden and we like because that's a fox dog Yeah,
- 19:02because the Sweden is depressing. Yeah, and the other one is just they're
- 19:07just gonna go ruin some other area. The other one is just too ridiculous
- 19:10to not block, or like they'd be a Disney movie. Man, it
- 19:15already is. I feel like it. There's the fox and the hound,
- 19:21I mean put them together. Okay, so tell me again when you're your
- 19:26selections, are you you're also sharing the sheep weed story? Correct? And
- 19:30we will be blocking the Sweden moving city thing because they're just going to ruin
- 19:34a new place because they're assholes, and like the dogs because dog foxes are
- 19:40cute. Well, as a matter of fact, it doesn't matter because Kyler
- 19:45and Aggy already got it. Exactly right. Absolutely, of course I would
- 19:51share the sheep weed story because that's hilarious. Yes, exactly, that's fantastic,
- 19:56just the amount of jokes you can make off that what the sheep are
- 19:59doing and just watching olderie runs. It's perfect, absolutely perfect. There's one
- 20:04writing poetry, you know, all this stuff again, where can I get
- 20:11this medicinal sheep? But yeah, Oggie killed any appreciation I had for the
- 20:18dog fox story at all, Like it was kind of kind of weird when
- 20:22it was like mysteriously died and then you're like, oh, yes, the
- 20:25stress skeled it. Okay, now I'm sad because the animal died and as
- 20:30far as I know, no animals died in Sweden relocating in her town.
- 20:34So yeah, I would like that one, and block the stray dog turning
- 20:38down to be a dog fox as weird and as bizarre as that is.
- 20:42So yeah, that's going to be one point too. Kyla and Aggie very
- 20:48nice. They have the lead, but of course, as you know,
- 20:51it's very easy to catch up and or take the lead because round two,
- 20:53Game two is going to be where two points and we're going to play that
- 20:57right after this. Hey, this is grabbing Brisket Podcast. Join us every

- 21:49It's time for game two. Game two is an oldie, but a
- 21:52goodie. We haven't played this in a long time. It's pop Culture Fight
- 21:56Club. Oh wow, yeah, it's been a while. Our contestants need
- 22:00to prepare. Nobody prepared their best argument for a question about pop culture,
- 22:07and for this episode, the question is what is the best romance in a
- 22:14non romantic film, TV show or video game. The player who defends their
- 22:18choice the best will win the game and earn their team two. Episode points,
- 22:23Casey and Stevie. You guys lost the last game. You have the
- 22:26choice. You can make the other team go first, or you can go
- 22:29first yourselves. We got this, I believe, I don't. Maybe you
- 22:33do this. Case you want to pass. No, I need the pressure.
- 22:41We'll go first. Okay, all right, your team is going first
- 22:42and you're putting Stevie in first. Yeah, okay, I need the pressure.
- 22:47Stevie, You're gonna lead us off in your opinion, what is the
- 22:52best romance in a non romantic film, TV show or video game. I'm
- 22:56gonna give you, like roughly a minute or two to explain your position,
- 22:57and then everybody else can ask Skivie questions, interrogate him, push him.
- 23:03Maybe Casey you want to, uh, you know, kind of highlight the
- 23:06good things about his argument, but obviously Kyla and Ogie you are going to
- 23:10want to press him on things that are kind of flaky. Do we each
- 23:12get our own Yeah, everybody gets their own opinion and they get to mount
- 23:18of defense. Stevie, start us off. Just explain what you think is
- 23:21the best romance in a non romantic piece of media. I would like to
- 23:26enter into evidence your honor. It's not like full legal proceedings. It's more
- 23:32like more like debate clubs. And also he's your eminence. Yes, that
- 23:36is correct, thank you, thank you today. Yeah, the directly.
- 23:47But we all know the classic and amazing movie Galaxy Quest. Oh okay,
- 23:51yeah, Now this movie is yes, full of comedy and suspense and action
- 23:57and drama. Within this amazing movie in this script is a love that it
- 24:06is just growing between two species throughout the story. You just see it from
- 24:12that love at first sight, that glimmer in their eyes between mister Monkman himself
- 24:18Tony, I mean, I don't want to say his name. I didn't
- 24:22want to say it wrong, so I was like, I'll do the monk
- 24:25and I cannot remember the lady who was one of the alien races Missy.
- 24:30Yes, thank you, Missy Vile. They the actors names, not the
- 24:34character's name, But you're talking about the characters. The characters themselves. Uh,
- 24:38they fall in love throughout this these life freaking threatening situations, and the
- 24:45two species are able to coexist and coabitate, apparently because they show some of
- 24:49that happening in the movie. And then at the end of it, he
- 24:53actually sacrifices everything. He knows on Earth to go back and live with her.
- 25:02It's fucking amazing. And if love can go beyond species and ship,
- 25:07then why is fucking beastiality illegal? I have a question. He was making
- 25:18so much sense. I'm going to correct. She correct you on one factual
- 25:22thing. At the end of the movie, she stays with him. The
- 25:26alien stays on Earth with Fred rather than the other way around. But otherwise
- 25:30I think pretty pretty good. But now it's up to the other players.
- 25:34Go ahead and ask Stevie questions one at a time. We'll start with Augie
- 25:40and go counterclockwise, I guess, and just keep it moving. We'll say
- 25:47one question each. Yeah, okay, what do you what do you want
- 25:49to press him on? What do you have you not seen Galaxy quest I've
- 26:00seen bits and pieces of it. I'm pretty sure we had a movie night
- 26:03on it. Shit, you can forfeit your turn. You want to press
- 26:19Stevie on? Are you worried if they have children and then they move their
- 26:22habitat will they suddenly die? I am not worried about stress of living in
- 26:30a new environment, because she's already been able to show that she can live
- 26:33here without an issue. There was no real issue with her surviving on Earth,
- 26:38so I believe that their offspring, being a combination of the two like
- 26:44bodies, should be fine in our atmosphere or whatnot? And love all right,
- 26:52Casey, anything you want to ask Stevie about I'm clueless because I have
- 26:57never seen this movie, so I have no clue. Sure enough, you
- 27:03don't have to. You don't have to. It's just some option, all
- 27:06right. Stevie's presentation is done. We're going to move on to Casey.
- 27:08You are on this team, and you guys decided to go first, so
- 27:11you are up. So as I was rewatching the Austin Powers trilogy recently,
- 27:19I was thinking of the relationship between Austin Powers and Doctor Evil because throughout the
- 27:30three movies they have so much turmoil and anger towards each other, but at
- 27:36the end of the third movie, they actually come together and fight against one
- 27:42of the other, fight against gold members. Platonic romance. Yes, okay,
- 27:48we can go with that. I know it's weird, but we're not
- 27:52so different. Well, once again, go counterclockwise, Stevie. Anything you
- 28:00want to ask, it's not very that might make her case. I think
- 28:03that's a great idea. You're not going through the conventional way of answering the
- 28:07question, which is smart because Aaron loves stuff like that, and I think
- 28:11that gets like extra kudos right there in itself. I think I think,
- 28:18I think it was a perfect choice. The only thing I'd like to add
- 28:19is I think in the next movie they don't do so just banging a hot
- 28:22tub. Okay, the camera first, hostality and now incest. Let's is
- 28:33there any any any part of Casey's story you'd like to pick apart? God,
- 28:40I'm so terrible at this. You can forfeit your turn. Well,
- 28:47all right, Kyla, I guess it's all you. I know she's going
- 28:52to have strong opinions about this. I mean they are siblings. Oh that's
- 28:57true. Yeah, Just how do you think they I mean, they'd have
- 29:03to get some really good stunt doubles. Do you think it would be a
- 29:04good Well, No, And now I'm thinking about them banging in a hot
- 29:08tub, and that would be interesting, yes, because it is Mike Myers
- 29:17playing both characters, So it's kind of they're kind of falling in love with
- 29:21themselves because of the true their opposite sides of the same coin. Yeah,
- 29:25I don't know. But they still band together and fight the true evil.
- 29:30I am beginning to regret ever asking this question. Right, So we have
- 29:40two defenses that are barely defended because they were barely attacked. But I'd say
- 29:48you did. All right, let's move on to the other team. Which
- 29:52one of you two wants to go first doesn't matter. Yeah, I'll go
- 29:55first. Okay, you're up first, and Kyla will round us out.
- 29:59Okay, what you is the best romance and a non romantic piece of media.
- 30:03So I think the best romance and the non romantic piece of media comes
- 30:08from the couple from married and married with children. We go al Bundy and
- 30:15Peg Bundy. Okay, good luck with this one. Why you say that,
- 30:19Aaron, don't bet? They don't get me wrong. They are terrible,
- 30:25horrible people, especially to each other, but at every opportunity they do
- 30:30not cheat on each other. They're always faithful to one another. It's come
- 30:33close, and they've always backed out, and I've always reassured their interest in
- 30:40their partner. All right, And I think that's romance. That or it's
- 30:45the worst case of double Stockholm syndrome we've ever seen. I think all hit
- 30:52it on the nose. There with the second part. Okay u kayla,
- 30:56any part of story that you would like to highlight that you think is good.
- 31:00I wasn't a fan of the show when it was first coming out,
- 31:04but now that time has passed, a lot of people are saying, like
- 31:07it's a good like allegory for suburban you know, boredom life stuff like that.
- 31:12So like, yeah, I mean, in the end, they can
- 31:15show that they're horrible people, but like they're not that horrible. You know,
- 31:22they're human horrible, not like evil horrible. All right, uh,
- 31:27casey, anything you'd like to pick a part on his story. I haven't
- 31:33seen this one either, young You can forfeit your turn if you'd like.
- 31:38Sure, Okay, Stevie gets cut us up. Okay. Though I do
- 31:45agree with Agi that yes, Peg and l do truly love each other at
- 31:49their core, there's nothing romantic about their relationship and hasn't since high school.
- 31:56Throughout the entire series of it. There is no romance, man, There's
- 32:00just that. Yeah, they end up not cheating on each other, that's
- 32:04all you're going with the it's not that big of a thing. Yeah,
- 32:08Well, they never say the L word, but they always seem to perform
- 32:13through actions, you know, and actions speak lower than words. Nah,
- 32:16acts of service. It's a love language. Yeah. Okay, well,
- 32:22fairly well done. And let's round us out with Kyla, Kyla, what
- 32:27do you think is the most romantic relationship? I ay, non romantic piece
- 32:31of media. I think Wally and e Eve, the two little robots from
- 32:37the movie Wally, because they're you know, it's the sad world. The
- 32:44world has destroyed, but these two artificial life forms could find love. And
- 32:49if they can, then maybe we can. If they can change, maybe
- 32:52we can all change. Sorry Rocky for but yeah, like it. It
- 32:58gives us hope for a whole this world. I should have done Rocky Love
- 33:02Rocky done Rocky. You could say that Rocky is a romance, like it
- 33:10is kind of a romance, And that's kind of why I was worried about
- 33:14Wally being like not acceptable, because like that's kind of the core of the
- 33:16story. But the core of the story is we're fucked spies. Well all
- 33:29right, well well maybe we are fed. We'll tried it now, Casey,
- 33:34do you have any any part of that that you'd like to pick apart?
- 33:37Well, I'm three for three here. I haven't seen this one either,
- 33:39get out because I'm a Disney freak. Wow, we need to introduce
- 33:45you to some well I should know this because I have a Disney freak.
- 33:50But I haven't seen this one either. But do you like Star Trek at
- 33:54all? Or more importantly, do you like making fun of Star Trek at
- 33:58all? As long as you're like basically familiar with the formula of Star Trek,
- 34:05you would absolutely love Galaxy since my Since my sister here is obsessed with
- 34:08Star Trek, Galaxy Quest, Galaxy Quest, you should absolutely watch. I
- 34:15don't know about Wally. I haven't seen it myself. Beautiful, but maybe
- 34:20I'll go home. Yeah, that's your assignment. The next time you come
- 34:23on the podcast, there will be a quiz I will I will? Okay,
- 34:31fair enough, so no attack from Casey Stevie. Do you have anything
- 34:37you'd like to rip apart about her story? Yes, robots don't have souls,
- 34:43therefore unable to love. Thank you Alex, and have a great day.
- 34:46How would you How would you defend that? I think they're sentienced because
- 34:52they have feelings. I think those feelings are programmed like the so called current
- 34:58AI quote unquote Okay, yeah, and they're not real like complicated robots.
- 35:05I mean, Eve is much more complicated than Wally. They could be the
- 35:09consciousness of a person who was put into those room, brains out on that
- 35:20he the eternal optimist. Okay, cleaning everything? Oh my god, the
- 35:25fail safe program can't do it. Okay. Uh so, Oggie, is
- 35:30there anything about kyla story that you would like to highlight before we're done?
- 35:34No, I think it was. I think it was pretty good, honestly.
- 35:37But theoretically, if they could have children, would they be little boxes
- 35:40or little ovals oval boxes? Yeah, they'd be. There'd be some swear
- 35:46on the bottom and round on the top so they don't tip over, but
- 35:52they don't fall down. Yes, yes, yes, Okay, so it
- 36:02really does. I don't know. I was expecting a bit more like back
- 36:07and forth and actual like arguing, and I barely got any of it.
- 36:14It's hard for me to tell what to me was like the best defended.
- 36:20I think it's gonna come down to you too, actually, because incestuous romance
- 36:31or platonic romance was not what I had in mind, So I'm just cutting
- 36:36that off. It is. It is a change in their relationship, which
- 36:40is good. But a change does not like a fully you know, I
- 36:45don't know, like like there there was more to explore there. They just
- 36:50didn't. But that's okay. It was kind of an out of the out
- 36:53of the out of nowhere thing. Michael Kaine's our dad, uh uh,
- 37:00Like what the fuck? And Kyle is Because I didn't see Wally, I
- 37:04don't really have a feel for how that relationship came to be or how strong
- 37:08the romance was, and there wasn't enough of an argument back and forth to
- 37:14give me more of a picture of it. Although I really like your idea
- 37:16that they're actually human consciousness trapped in a robot body. So it's gonna come
- 37:22down to the two of you, because both of you presented relationships that I
- 37:25would not have considered to be romantic in any way, but you also defended
- 37:30it in a way that kind of made sense. But I think I'm gonna
- 37:35have to give it to Augie because for a half second he legitimately made me
- 37:39think that they actually do love each other, because it's true. They don't
- 37:45say it, but they do it. They are still together, they still
- 37:47do things for each other without thinking about it. Sometimes it's just kind of
- 37:53an automatic love. That may not mean much, but to be fair,
- 37:59they were together for a whole like two hours on screen. I think in
- 38:02real time that that that movie is basically so they've been together for two hours
- 38:07by the time it ends, So I don't know if I can call it
- 38:10a great Now. The thing that kills me is that all of you missed
- 38:15the easiest layup in the world, because I've been thinking about it, like
- 38:19all day since I came up with it. Ult Gomez and Mortitia Adams,
- 38:24come on, that is a gimme the greatest romances of all times. Yeah,
- 38:31I was considered it. And it's from a sitcom. Yeah, I
- 38:36think I thought that was a little too simply they're comedy movies, they're sitcoms,
- 38:44they're not romances. But it's still a beautiful, loving relationship that just
- 38:49never quits. You know. What. Other one I was thinking is like
- 38:52an extra because it's a movie that kind of irks me. Is the movie
- 38:57con Air that he loves, he loves his what and like they play that
- 39:02they play like that like teen times, Like I saw that in the movie
- 39:07theater and my eyes were tired from the eye rolls. And like Nicholas Cage
- 39:14was a different person back then. It's much more beloved now. But it
- 39:16was just like they beat that romance on the head even though it was an
- 39:21action movie. Honestly, I don't care. John Malkovich and the guy who
- 39:24played Miles O'Brien from Star Trek really made that fucking movie. Yeah. Well,
- 39:28and oh, oh my god, yes, Steve. Uh, the
- 39:36scene with the little girl was just chills. Anyway, we're getting way off
- 39:42track here, So the two points go to Kyla and Augie. They are
- 39:45up three points to zero. That one, it was it was genuinely close.
- 39:51You did a good job. But they literally kissed this one and they
- 39:55have sex right in front of guy, and then they just decide I'd stay
- 40:00together. It's not the biggest romance in the world. Yeah, I get
- 40:06it. You know, you're pushing your pro beast yelling what anyway, we're
- 40:13gonna take a quick break and then we'll be back for round three. Game
- 40:15three is worth three points, So Casey and Stevie need this to tie the
- 40:19game up and get back into it and maybe they'll win the tiebreaker after that.
- 40:22But uh, Kyla and Augie could make it a clean sweep. We're
- 40:25gonna find out right after this. Hey, this is Russ, this is

- 41:23welcome back. It's time for Game three. Game three is going to be
- 41:28an old favorite four out of five dentists. Oh yes, I'm gonna ask
- 41:31five survey questions such as what percentage of Americans believe in ghosts? And one
- 41:36team will guess the exact percentage out of one hundred. The other team is
- 41:39going to guess whether the actual correct percentage is higher or lower than that Guess
- 41:44if they're right, they win the survey. Otherwise the original guessers win it.
- 41:47Then the teams are going to swap roles and we'll move on to the
- 41:50next. First team to win three surveys wins the game and earns three episode
- 41:53points. Now, Kyla and Stevie think carefully, because you lost the last
- 41:58game. You have the choice. Would you like to guess the exact percentage
- 42:00first? Or would you prefer to guess higher or lower first? What are
- 42:06you think? They make them do the percentage for the first one and we
- 42:09can just sure thing? Cool? Yeah? And also you called me Kyla,
- 42:13but it's okay. Did I Oh my god, I'm so sorry.
- 42:15It's okay. I was looking. It happens all the time, Casey,
- 42:20it happens all the time, Aaron, Stevie Cilantro this. Okay, So
- 42:31you've decided to go higher lower first? Yeah, they're going to do higher
- 42:36hire, Okay. So Kyla and Augie, Yes, Kyla, And now
- 42:40I'm doubting myself at every turn this would you want to Now I'm going to
- 42:49develop a complex, Kyla, and you guys give me the exact percentage to
- 42:52this survey according to a you go pull from twenty twenty one. What percentage
- 42:58of American adults, and I apologize for getting a little racy right out of
- 43:00the gates, what percentage of American adults say they have scheduled sex, meaning
- 43:07they specifically set a time a certain time with their partners for the purpose of
- 43:13having sex. Smart a regiment is really good for your health. I wonder
- 43:19if they pulled all, like the whole sample size, or if it was
- 43:23just people who were in relationships. It was American adults eighteen and up,
- 43:30all ages, all ideologies, all difference. I'd say at least thirty three
- 43:37percent or lower. Ooh, I was thinking around the same range, actually,
- 43:42like thirty percentage. You want to do thirty yeah, okay, you
- 43:45want to do thirty flat? Yeah, okay, thirty percent say Kyla and
- 43:51Augie had to mentally recheck the names in my head Casey and Stevie. Do
- 43:59you I think it's higher or lower than thirty percent? Were the age groups
- 44:04again? All ages above eighteen? Oh? So eighteen? Well, initially
- 44:07I was going to say twenty, but they say thirty, So they said
- 44:12thirty, So I think I don't know. I have a feeling a lot
- 44:15of adults who both are working. They schedule a day like there's a play
- 44:19day. I guarantee it. And you know, you know what happens on
- 44:22play day? Business time business. Yes, on playday is when you do
- 44:29business, Dame m Well, hopefully you come anywhere. Yeah, Son,
- 44:38thirty percent, So you think of like forty five. I think it's just
- 44:43we just got to say higher or lower? Yeah, somethinking higher. Yeah,
- 44:45okay, you guys want to go higher. Yeah, all right,
- 44:47word agreement. So Kylo and you say thirty percent, Casey and Stevie say
- 44:52it's actually higher than that. Well, I can tell you the exact percentage
- 44:55of Americans who say they have scheduled sex is thirty eight percent. So Casey
- 45:02and Stevie win the point. We have to guess the exact percentage. And
- 45:07at the guest, no, no, no, I'm like, what did
- 45:10they guess? They said higher, and it was higher. We'll give them
- 45:14that's so they get the point. But for us it's still Yeah, it's
- 45:20going to switch now, so you are going to guess higher lower, and
- 45:24Casey and Stevie are going to say the exact percentage to this survey. According
- 45:29to a you gov pull from twenty twenty three. What percentage of young Americans
- 45:32between the ages of eighteen and twenty nine say they believe it is likely that
- 45:38within the next ten years artificial intelligence will help us communicate with animals. That
- 45:46what percentage of Americans between eighteen and twenty nine think that in the next ten
- 45:52years, thanks to AI, will be able to communicate with animals. That's
- 45:57got to be pretty high. Yeah, and kids nowadays will believe anything,
- 46:04and they're always on the end. Then whipper snapper, so oh, I
- 46:08was going to say like seventies, eighties, the mid seventies, high seventies
- 46:15seven, Yeah, seventy eight. So let's go seventy year seventy eight percent,
- 46:21say Casey, Stevie, that sounds really good, Hyla and Augie,
- 46:24what do you think is it higher or lower? Aware, Sure, let's
- 46:28go lower, just going lower. Yeah, no explanation needed, just lower.
- 46:31It's a high number. It's benefit of the that I guess we'll go
- 46:36with that. And maybe people are like pessimistic overall and they're like, gee,
- 46:38I hope that doesn't happen, and maybe that clouds there. Uh,
- 46:43you know, right, all right, stop it because they don't want the
- 46:45t one thousands coming, the T one thousands, Yeah, the T one
- 46:51thousand tigers, the high sheep, all right, the high sheep. So
- 46:57steaming and Casey say it is seventy eight percent think we'll be able to communicate
- 47:01with animals in the next ten years, and Kyla and Aggie say it is
- 47:06lower. Well, the exact percentage of people who think between eighteen and twenty
- 47:10nine who think within the next ten years artificial intelligence will help us communicate with
- 47:15animals is fifty five percent. It is much lower, but still over half.
- 47:22That's still kind of the side of it. Yeah, so it is
- 47:27all tied up one survey a piece. Yeah. I mean, there's a
- 47:30guy in my office who legitimately thinks, hey, I will do anything,
- 47:32and he uses it to do about half of his job. Legitimately legitimately pays
- 47:37twenty bucks a month, so it does half his job. Now, I
- 47:40can't say whether he's doing his job well, but he is using it,
- 47:45so there is that. I guess it's worth the investment for him anyway.
- 47:50Yeah, I think because this theme this show, the episode does not have
- 47:53a set theme. The title should be animal husbandry. It's come up several
- 48:01time. I think it should be called Stevie Love's Best Reality and just roll
- 48:05with that. But he's in charge of posting, so it will never happen.
- 48:07Steve Hart's animal plan. Sorry, they are cute, especially Corky's all
- 48:17right, so Corky butts. Anyway, let's move on to our third survey.
- 48:24So once again, Kyla and you guys are gonna give me the exact
- 48:28percentage, and Casey and Stevie you will give me higher or lower. Yeah,
- 48:32and this one should haunt the two of you, related to a survey
- 48:37we did on the last episode. According to a you gov poll from second
- 48:43quarter of twenty twenty three, what percentage of American millennials say they have never
- 48:49heard of Snickers candy bars? Oh? Fuck? What you know? If
- 48:53you're one of them and you have access to the internet and like TV,
- 49:00fucking radio, I'll even just go radio, and you know what the fuck
- 49:02is Snickers bars? Go away. You're not allowed here anymore. Just go
- 49:07They're not a real American, because a real American knows candy. So,
- 49:09just for relevant context for Kyla and Casey, who were not here on our
- 49:15last episode, the politics episode, we did for a similar survey, what
- 49:19percentage of American millennials say they'd never heard of Joe Biden, and the correct
- 49:23percentage was six percent. Oh my god. So bear that in mind that
- 49:28we are now asking about Snickers, candy bars and Kyla and AUGI it is
- 49:31your turn to give me an exact percentage. It's gotta be like down on
- 49:35the teens. Yeah, I because there are people who live in rural areas,
- 49:39But like, how are you able to pull them? But do you
- 49:45want to go six percent? The same as didn't know about Biden? Do
- 49:47you think Snickers is more ubiquitous or less ubiquitous than Biden? Shit? Just
- 49:58like what does he put? Well, if you have it, if you
- 50:00had to choose the one that is more invasive in your daily life, Snickers
- 50:02would be it would be yeah. Yeah, So I think I'm thinking it's
- 50:06actually more like closer to like thirteen fourteen percent. Okay, let's go with
- 50:09that thirteen percent. Thirteen percent say they have never heard of Snickers, candy
- 50:15Bars, Casey and Stevie. Do you think the exact percentage is actually higher
- 50:20or lower than thirteen? Do you know what the ironic or you know,
- 50:23sorry wrong? I irritating heart about this is some of these millennials who don't
- 50:30know what stickers are are probably wearing a fucking Snickers bar shirt or some shit,
- 50:32and no fucking idea. But I haven't feel like it's gonna be lower
- 50:36than thirteen percent though, right. They got to know. Yeah, I
- 50:38mean they're in every fast food, yeah, convenience store and stuff three destination,
- 50:44They're on TV. Yeah, they're Halloween or huge like that. Stuff's
- 50:47everywhere. Right, So it's kinda it's gonna be lower. It's kinna be
- 50:51they have to like more people have to know about Snickers bars. You must
- 50:54know about stickers, you weed now compared to before, that's true. Do
- 51:00you know any candies? I've discovered a lot. Okay, so you're going
- 51:08with it was American millennials, right, yes, Okay, yes, it's
- 51:12not about I didn't pay attention. It was American. Sure, some ship
- 51:16motherfucker. So I'm just gonna get you to reiterate one more time. They
- 51:20said thirteen percent, and you are saying lower lower. Okay, So the
- 51:24exact percentage of American millennials who say they've never heard of Snickers candy bars is
- 51:31four percent. Wow. So Casey and Stevie take that survey as well.
- 51:37That's fair, but it is true that Snickers is more ubiquitous than Joe Biden.
- 51:44But you went the wrong way with the percentage. It should have gone
- 51:46lower instead of higher. But that's all right, It's still reach you guys.
- 51:52You guys have to win the next two surveys to catch up, though,
- 51:55because otherwise, if if Casey and Stevie get another on, that is
- 52:00their third and they will win the game. So but this time they are
- 52:05giving the exact percentage and Kylo and ogugh, you will give me the higher
- 52:07or lower bid. Uh, this should be right up Stevie's alley sort of,
- 52:15Casey and Stevie. According to a you go poll from twenty twenty three,
- 52:20what percentage of American women said that if it were possible to have sex
- 52:24with robots they would consider it? What percentage of American women said they would
- 52:30consider having sex with robots if it were possible? Those men, easy,
- 52:36Yeah, ninety two women though, yep. With American women with robots,
- 52:45no question se robots is robot considered like one of the sybian things too,
- 52:51or like it has to be humanoid? The poll did not discriminate. I'm
- 52:54just trying to be thorough, all encompassing. Yeah, like a city and
- 53:01you can get it. Let's see see this one. I would say kind
- 53:08of in the teens, you think, but I'm not gonna say it.
- 53:13I bet you it's in the twenties if not a little h dude. People
- 53:19have gotten into so many more things. Yeah, people years and people will
- 53:24believe anything these days. Robot, I'm assuming I have a face, whether
- 53:30digital or prosthetic. Oh god, you gotta name it right. Do you
- 53:43want to be like covered all thirty covered all the stuff like the show in
- 53:52robots? It's a wide range. I'm sorry, I can't say you're not
- 53:55there are giving me. We'll go right in the middle, like the low
- 54:00thirties, like thirty two, Sure, thirty two, thirty two percent from
- 54:09Casey and Cebee, Kyler and AUGI is the exact percentage higher or lower?
- 54:14And remember you must get this. I've got no U perspective on this.
- 54:20I think women are freakier than people think. And it's more like fifty percent.
- 54:24I think on any given day, like you know, one out of
- 54:29every two women would be like sure, why not? I mean, like,
- 54:31you know, the orgasm gap is quite wide, you know, anything
- 54:37we can do to make it better. Right, that's fair, It's like
- 54:40it's scientific. I was just thinking about all the times I've tried to get
- 54:45into the orgasm gap. It's efficient, if nothing else, it's at That's
- 54:52a new title in this episode, the orgasm gap. Okay, So are
- 55:00you both saying higher? Yeah? Higher? Okay? So you need this
- 55:06to stay in the game. Casey and Stevie said thirty two percent, and
- 55:10Kylon and Oggi say it's actually higher than that. The actual percentage of American
- 55:15women who said they would consider having sex with robots is fourteen percent, which
- 55:22means Casey and Stevie have won this game. They're lions right. Three surveys
- 55:30to one and they get the three points and they have tied the game.
- 55:36Yes, which means we need a time breaker, and lucky me, there
- 55:39is one survey left, so we're gonna helping to do this the whole time.
- 55:44We're gonna play that survey. Now, Casey and Stevie think this over
- 55:49very carefully. For this last one, I'm giving you the right because you
- 55:52caught up. Would you like to give the exact percentage on the survey or
- 55:57would you like to guess higher? Or lower. They hire a lower.
- 56:00Yeah, we'll go hire a lower. Caring to win this. I was
- 56:05gonna say you won the last one on percentage, but you're going with hire
- 56:08and lower. Anyway, Best of luck, Kyla and Ai. You have
- 56:14to give me a percentage on this question, and I think you'll find it
- 56:19very familiar. According to it, you go pull from twenty twenty three what
- 56:22percentage of American men said that if it were possible to have sex with robots,
- 56:28they would consider it. We're still trying to every guy's trying to Okay,
- 56:31I want to say eighty five. Yeah, like that might seem low,
- 56:37but like there's a lot of religious dudes, oh Aggie saying up up,
- 56:40up. Now. I'm not saying one hundred because I ain't one of
- 56:47them, so but it's yea he is, though, he's but he's in
- 56:53the other one majority, which I think is probably closer to like he the
- 57:00eight eighty nine ninety percentile. You're a dude, I'll go with you.
- 57:04I'll go with your eighty It's gonna not be great, but okay, eighty
- 57:07nine percent, eighty nine percent say robots, say Thylan and Augie, now
- 57:16Casey and Stevie, do you think the actual percentage is higher or lower than
- 57:21eighty nine percent? That's a good number, but yeah, it's high.
- 57:25That's really high. That is high. And you did bring on a good
- 57:29points like I can't remember what they were, probably didn't, just imagining you.
- 57:37But I do believe it is lower. It's high. I think it's
- 57:40way higher than the women, for sure. I don't that will put his
- 57:45penis in a home the wall like it don't matter, like he will.
- 57:50They can and they have, there's videos online look it up like they will.
- 57:55So it is high. But I think it's just lower than what they
- 58:00because I think I think men in general have more morals than people think.
- 58:07Yeah right, okay, sorry, Hey, coming from someone who's single and
- 58:14who's hopeful morals, we don't know. We sorry it'll be, but it
- 58:20will be. Then I have no I have no hope it was. It's
- 58:24a noble thought, but waste it on us. So you think lower,
- 58:30I think just lower? Yeah, not much though, I say lower.
- 58:34Okay, so you're going with the lower lower than for the game. All
- 58:37right, well, Kyland Augie said it was eighty nine percent, and Casey
- 58:45and Cebe say lower. The exact percentage of American men who said that if
- 58:51it were possible to have sex with robots they would consider it is twenty nine
- 58:57percent. They're lying too, which means and Stevie have won the whole game.
- 59:07Congratulations on winning the episode. Yes it is not nearly as high as
- 59:09you thought, but it is still more than double the women. It wasn't
- 59:15an anonymous poll. That's the only I think that's funny. That's the numbers
- 59:25we got. So anyway, Oh wow, that was a really uh,
- 59:30really well fought contest. Guys, all done, very close and exciting game,
- 59:36come from behind victory from Casey and Stevie. Well done. Congratulate second
- 59:40place. Yes, nobody can take that from you side by side on the
- 59:45winners podium. Yes, you want to share the victory like the Olympics winners
- 59:51have been doing. Like we spit the teams today so that way we can
- 59:54all grow together. You are describing talking about bestiality, sex with the robots
- 1:00:02and incest as growing. Yes, okay, we've all heard something today.
- 1:00:07We're not yucking anyone's yum. I think I can imagine what part of you
- 1:00:10is growing. But anyway, oh god, that's what she said, all
- 1:00:19right, well, I have to thank Kyla and Casey for coming on her
- 1:00:22show and being so silly with us today. Thank you so much. As
- 1:00:27always, I appreciate it. Hope you guys had fun. We always do
- 1:00:29when you guys come. And if there's anything you would like to plug,

- 1:01:04you didn't have to buy two? It is genuinely appreciated and I will happily
- 1:01:08sign both of them. Thank you. Uh, Casey, what about you?
