Now, jurors are beginning to speak publicly about what happened behind closed doors during nearly 40 hours of deliberations.
Multiple jurors have described an apparent 11–1 division, with eleven jurors prepared to find Lindsay Clancy not guilty by reason of lack of criminal responsibility. According to the foreperson and other jurors who have spoken publicly, the remaining juror acknowledged having reasonable doubt but would not join the others in acquitting Lindsay.
