- 0:29Good morning from the chicken coop.
- 0:30Have you ever been up into your own balloon meaning?
- 0:34Have you ever just come up with this exciting?
- 0:38Wonderful thing that you want to do or something place you want
- 0:41to go or just something that really Thrills you and then all
- 0:44of a sudden, your brain just clicks on and says, well, let me
- 0:48tell you all the reasons why this isn't going to work.
- 0:51Or let me tell you the reasons why we shouldn't do this.
- 0:53And all of a sudden that doubting dan part of the bus
- 0:58starts driving. And before you know it Oh it,
- 1:01you have become the PIN to your own balloon.
- 1:03You've popped the idea you've said screw it, I'm not going to
- 1:06do it or this isn't going to work, and you've talked yourself
- 1:09out of it before you even had a chance to bring a moment of it
- 1:12to life. Well, we all do this and in my
- 1:17opinion right now, this happens more than ever, I can't begin to
- 1:22express to you how much I see people just killing their own
- 1:27dreams, killing their own ideas. Killing.
- 1:30Own excitement stabbing themselves to the point where
- 1:36they just feel defeated, and then, it's, like, right back to
- 1:38the rat race. Now, there are, there's a theory
- 1:42out here about this as to. Why do people do this to
- 1:45themselves? Why shouldn't you be the biggest
- 1:47advocate for yourself? Well one.
- 1:50It's because again, our emotions are here to help us.
- 1:53So when you start doubting that emotion is supposed to help you,
- 1:57it's supposed to give you the ability to make.
- 2:00Sure that you continue with caution, you proceed with
- 2:04caution, but that's not what happens.
- 2:07We don't use it that way. What we end up doing is we use
- 2:10it in a way that says I'm just going to kill the idea.
- 2:12I'm going to squash the whole thing as opposed to.
- 2:14I'm going to be thoughtful and I'm going to look at this from a
- 2:16perspective, get down all the things that could happen might
- 2:20happen but you know I'm still going to be enthusiastic about
- 2:24it and I recently saw this in my own family because my daughter
- 2:28and her husband are thinking about Doing something and taking
- 2:33doing a side business and it's a great idea.
- 2:37It's a great idea. And she has really just gotten
- 2:42to the point where, you know, she had.
- 2:44It was like, well, I'm not sure and you know, the truth is, is
- 2:49the idea right for them. The idea is an excellent idea,
- 2:54it might not be right for them, where they are at their point in
- 2:57their life, but it's an excellent idea, but it didn't
- 3:00have to be Old for the reason, which she was doing it because
- 3:03her reason was very different than the actual reason and
- 3:07sometimes it takes an outside voice.
- 3:10Sometimes you have to sit down with a trusted person who's not
- 3:13going to just be negative to you but it's going to actually give
- 3:16you thoughts on it and say well here are the pros and cons like
- 3:20that old school way of doing a pros and cons list is actually
- 3:23very strong and very powerful but you've got to do it from
- 3:26neutral. You can't do it from a place of
- 3:28saying, hey, I'm going to just So I'm going to just put this on
- 3:33this piece of paper and beat myself up about it.
- 3:36I'm just going to the pros and cons list are going to just be
- 3:39that just pros and cons but I'm going to do it from neutral.
- 3:42I'm not going to do it from a place of trying to really hard
- 3:46beat myself up for this is idea and thinking it's stupid,
- 3:49because the moment you start thinking the idea is stupid,
- 3:51you're in the wrong emotion. The moment, you start thinking
- 3:55that you're anything other than neutral about it, you're in the
- 3:58wrong emotion. You know.
- 4:01I can't stress that enough. I have to do that with myself.
- 4:03All the time. I recently was asked to go out
- 4:06and do a job at a big event and I gave them a quote went through
- 4:12the whole process and actually sat there and said I'm totally
- 4:15neutral. Either way, don't care if I go
- 4:17don't care. If I don't go and that's the
- 4:19place that you want to be in when you've made a solid
- 4:23decision. Like, yes, I'd go sure I'd go.
- 4:25I'd be happy to go, but I don't care.
- 4:28I'm detached from it and I'm doing it from the right.
- 4:30Emotion as opposed to being negative and killing the dream
- 4:35because of that fear, or the anxiety or the frustration of
- 4:39not knowing, how to do something, that is critically
- 4:42important. You've got to let get past that
- 4:45you've got to get past that piece of yourself.
- 4:47So I thought today it would be worth it.
- 4:49To ask you guys, you know, how many times have you wiped out
- 4:52your own dream? How many times have you just
- 4:55said, you know, no, I'm not even going to try, I'm not even going
- 4:58to see how I can put it together because sometimes we look at, We
- 5:01just say oh man, this is so overwhelmingly big.
- 5:04I'm never going to get this done.
- 5:05I'm never going to have this happen and from that point, no,
- 5:10you will not from that standpoint.
- 5:12You will not make it happen because it's not the right
- 5:15emotion to be in. But once you start to get out of
- 5:18that emotion and you start to move up the ladder, a bit with
- 5:22it, you start to or in my metaphoric move to the front of
- 5:25the bus, get to the better emotions that you want at the
- 5:28front of the bus, the ones that serve You better all of a
- 5:32sudden, everything starts to change.
- 5:34So I'm going to challenge you guys to think about it.
- 5:36How many times have you killed your own dream and are those
- 5:39dreams still back? There lingering, are there
- 5:41things back there that you just know, you know, would mean
- 5:45something to you. Whether it's, you know,
- 5:47finishing, your college degree, whether it's learning to paint,
- 5:51I don't care what it is. It could be good.
- 5:52Whether it's create your own business, who knows what it
- 5:55could be. But the truth is, if it's back
- 5:57there and it's still with you and you still think about it.
- 6:00Then work towards that finds the way to do it, have someone help
- 6:05you do something, that would move you in the right direction
- 6:09because I promised you the level of Happiness, you'll feel when
- 6:12you get there is astounding. So I hope you guys have an
- 6:15amazing, amazing day and I will see you all tomorrow.
- 6:18Bye.
