- 5:02[SPEAKER_08]: is happy as I am.
- 5:04[SPEAKER_08]: And let's see, what a beautiful day it is again, beautiful fall day.
- 5:10[SPEAKER_08]: It is sad day, it's October 7th, the day the Hamas and company invaded southern Israel, killing 1200 people and taking a couple of hundred hostages.
- 5:24[SPEAKER_08]: And
- 5:27[SPEAKER_08]: So today I think the debate last night, the only debate that was there could have been for NY21.
- 5:35[SPEAKER_08]: That's the Congressional District now held by a Leastafonic.
- 5:38[SPEAKER_08]: The only candidate who attended was Anthony Constantino.
- 5:43[SPEAKER_08]: Apparently, according to CBS 6 in Skenectady, their guy said that each candidate was offered six dates.
- 5:51[SPEAKER_08]: Constantino accepted any of the six.
- 5:55[SPEAKER_08]: been declined any of the six.
- 5:58[SPEAKER_08]: And it was in Platsburg last night meeting with union people on something.
- 6:03[SPEAKER_08]: We are told that it was the decision not to participate came from a very high up like Eagle Street, high up.
- 6:14[SPEAKER_08]: 755, 1240 of the phone number, if you'd like to give us a call on the big story today.
- 6:18[SPEAKER_08]: And I think this is the water cooler story of the day.
- 6:20[SPEAKER_08]: This is what
- 6:24[SPEAKER_08]: And that is Christine Pike, 50-year-old woman, on death row in Tennessee for the murder 31 years ago of a 19-year-old Colleen Schlimmer, and it was brutal.
- 6:35[SPEAKER_08]: There's no doubt about it.
- 6:39[SPEAKER_08]: But she was due to be executed last week.
- 6:47[SPEAKER_08]: Due to be executed.
- 6:48[SPEAKER_08]: And now what?
- 6:51[SPEAKER_08]: They used whether it was a pen to a barba tall or something, injected at twice, and it apparently pooled in our arm didn't get into the bloodstream, didn't kill her, and they were, according to the Daily Mail, a relative says they were going to make sure she was dead yesterday by declaring her brain dead.
- 7:09[SPEAKER_08]: Well, what goes in happens is she wakes up and she's talking.
- 7:14[SPEAKER_14]: Yeah, she was able to say her name, yeah.
- 7:18[SPEAKER_08]: Now they got some kind of hearing on her behalf.
- 7:22[SPEAKER_08]: I don't know, should they have killed her when they had the chance in the hospital last week?
- 7:26[SPEAKER_17]: I'll feel easy to do.
- 7:29[SPEAKER_08]: It's kind of embarrassing.
- 7:30[SPEAKER_08]: And then they got her shackled and handcuffed in the bed.
- 7:32[SPEAKER_08]: Now, where's she going to go?
- 7:35[SPEAKER_08]: With injuries to her arms, I mean?
- 7:38[SPEAKER_08]: Is there an eighth amendment anymore or not?
- 7:41[SPEAKER_08]: And what she did was wrong.
- 7:43[SPEAKER_08]: But it was also a 31 years ago.
- 7:46[SPEAKER_08]: You can't obsess over that that line.
- 7:49[SPEAKER_08]: So what's the state of Tennessee going to do?
- 7:53[SPEAKER_08]: What do you think they should do?
- 7:57[SPEAKER_08]: Now it's kind of embarrassing she woke up.
- 8:00[SPEAKER_08]: So you can't hide behind her well, you know, she's brain dead.
- 8:03[SPEAKER_08]: We're going to take her off the ventilator and, you know, it's God's will.
- 8:09[SPEAKER_29]: So I don't know.
- 8:11[SPEAKER_08]: Wonder who'll get the first interview with her.
- 8:13[SPEAKER_08]: Too bad Larry King's not around anymore.
- 8:16[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
- 8:19[SPEAKER_08]: So anyway, that hearing is going on in a courtroom and Nashville right now.
- 8:23[SPEAKER_08]: So is that a water cooler issue?
- 8:26[SPEAKER_08]: It's kind of weird.
- 8:28[SPEAKER_08]: Kind of weird, do you think they should have even taken it to the hospital?
- 8:32[SPEAKER_08]: I mean, they might.
- 8:35[SPEAKER_08]: Good afternoon, you're on the air.
- 8:37[SPEAKER_15]: Yeah, bring back the electric chair here.
- 8:42[SPEAKER_15]: It worked for the role of some birds, it worked for Bruno Hoffman, and a part of the limber, maybe apparently.
- 8:47[SPEAKER_08]: Mm-hmm.
- 8:48[SPEAKER_15]: You know, this woman that you've got to probably have a DEI person putting the needle in the, and the arm.
- 8:55[SPEAKER_15]: You've got to find a vein.
- 8:56[SPEAKER_15]: You can't stick the needle in.
- 8:58[SPEAKER_15]: Some people can do that.
- 8:59[SPEAKER_15]: A lot of people can't.
- 9:01[SPEAKER_08]: Mm-hmm.
- 9:02[SPEAKER_15]: That's the problem.
- 9:02[SPEAKER_15]: Probably somebody that's not qualified to do the job was hired by all the DEI garbage.
- 9:08[SPEAKER_15]: in my opinion, but she wanted the parents squad, what they understand?
- 9:12[SPEAKER_08]: Mm-hmm.
- 9:14[SPEAKER_08]: That's been used, uh... Well apparently they knew she had a vascular issue, there'd be tougher to get it, but when they put it right in their neck.
- 9:21[SPEAKER_15]: Yeah, I don't think you should watch what she did on the road like you want to do, Mayor and letterback in the street or something.
- 9:27[SPEAKER_15]: That was a vicious mortar, what they understand?
- 9:30[SPEAKER_08]: Well, you could commute the sentence to a life in prison.
- 9:36[SPEAKER_08]: Well, they can't kill her now, can they?
- 9:39[SPEAKER_08]: Until she... You tell me this, how long is this woman bed on death row?
- 9:43[SPEAKER_08]: God, I don't know.
- 9:44[SPEAKER_08]: Decades.
- 9:44[SPEAKER_08]: You know, that's the problem.
- 9:47[UNKNOWN]: They put him on death for years ago.
- 9:48[SPEAKER_14]: He wasn't a 30-year deal on death row.
- 9:51[SPEAKER_14]: Ted Bundy was on death row for 10 years.
- 9:53[SPEAKER_14]: He put his 30-shot, my woman.
- 9:56[SPEAKER_15]: Mm-hmm.
- 9:57[SPEAKER_14]: That's why I'm not a big fan of defense lawyers.
- 10:00[SPEAKER_14]: Look at this defense lawyer for the woman that killed a kid in the basement.
- 10:04[SPEAKER_08]: Right.
- 10:08[SPEAKER_14]: He wants to charge his job, the store ever that she did it, who the hell did it to the reasonable man?
- 10:14[SPEAKER_14]: She set up a thing to get her husband out of the house.
- 10:17[SPEAKER_14]: She called the store where he was going, and she murdered her kitchen cold blood, and the store.
- 10:25[SPEAKER_14]: We don't need a 78-year-old, he fat-soyer, making excuses for her.
- 10:31[SPEAKER_14]: May the price you do it, crime.
- 10:37[SPEAKER_14]: and the criminal defense system is ridiculous in his country.
- 10:41[SPEAKER_14]: Look at the guy that shot Charlie Kirk.
- 10:44[SPEAKER_14]: He has to be taken out yet.
- 10:46[SPEAKER_14]: How long ago was that?
- 10:48[SPEAKER_14]: The guy that shot the healthcare CEO mayor in Europe City shoots the guy at cold point on his feet.
- 10:54[UNKNOWN]: The guy is still alive.
- 10:57[SPEAKER_08]: Exactly.
- 10:59[UNKNOWN]: Cold point of murder murder, you pay the pipe around it.
- 11:02[SPEAKER_14]: That's the way he's supposed to be.
- 11:04[SPEAKER_14]: Don't have a debt for us.
- 11:06[SPEAKER_14]: Don't kill somebody.
- 11:07[SPEAKER_14]: You haven't got to worry about a debt penalty.
- 11:10[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
- 11:11[UNKNOWN]: Remember the Kansas murder's 1950s.
- 11:13[UNKNOWN]: I didn't call the family mayor.
- 11:15[SPEAKER_08]: No, I don't.
- 11:16[SPEAKER_08]: Don't recall them.
- 11:17[SPEAKER_08]: We could party with a poor guy called Blossom.
- 11:20[SPEAKER_16]: Oh, okay.
- 11:21[UNKNOWN]: They went into the house and murdered four people.
- 11:24[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
- 11:25[SPEAKER_14]: See you like your chair.
- 11:28[SPEAKER_14]: No courses asked.
- 11:29[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
- 11:32[SPEAKER_14]: You want to want everything you want to put you back on the street.
- 11:35[UNKNOWN]: I don't agree with you on it, Mayor.
- 11:37[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, I'm just watching this hearing.
- 11:39[UNKNOWN]: I bought some in you.
- 11:41[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
- 11:42[UNKNOWN]: I know what happened.
- 11:44[SPEAKER_08]: Oh, it's my, you get older.
- 11:46[SPEAKER_08]: You get kind of soft.
- 11:48[UNKNOWN]: I have no idea.
- 11:50[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
- 11:51[UNKNOWN]: Are you going to search your mayor?
- 11:53[SPEAKER_08]: Huh?
- 11:54[SPEAKER_15]: Did she miss the comfort?
- 11:57[SPEAKER_08]: No.
- 11:57[SPEAKER_08]: No.
- 11:58[SPEAKER_15]: Oh, you're not?
- 11:58[SPEAKER_08]: No.
- 12:00[SPEAKER_08]: Too much work.
- 12:01[SPEAKER_15]: pretty good he's coming up here but I'd be very careful if I was him and they got at the beat for the governor in the 13th of this month mayor yeah but the man I think boy making holes on against sir don't you well he's got to have to do something whether and but I don't know how many people watch debates but it's not a stupid guy this is a smart guy I don't know much about
- 12:29[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, but you know he said he tells his he's made the statement.
- 12:32[SPEAKER_08]: I guess I got heard But he doesn't have to campaign north of the throughway because he has all the votes up there.
- 12:38[SPEAKER_15]: He doesn't Well, you got to win your city by Well, you don't should have won but he lost your city He would have been a great pick for governor.
- 12:47[SPEAKER_15]: Well, I've looked at the repontition I went he was up to the park.
- 12:50[SPEAKER_15]: That's one of the few politicians I went to see and I went I was up there.
- 12:55[SPEAKER_15]: I went to
- 12:59[SPEAKER_08]: I looked that way up, I looked that up online today, he did very well on Long Island, Staten Island did well, got crushed in the four boroughs, the major boroughs, I lost Westchester, and of course it's those upstate cities, Albany, Syracuse, Rochester, he did fairly well at Erie County considering she's from there, but he lost by 328,000 votes.
- 13:23[SPEAKER_08]: Now this guy of lakeman is down by eleven at the marist poll nine in c.n.a.
- 13:28[SPEAKER_08]: nineteen in queen of p.a.'
- 13:30[SPEAKER_15]: 's a bit of an outlier but I think a lot of these polls should be shut down.
- 13:35[SPEAKER_15]: We don't need to hear polls.
- 13:36[SPEAKER_15]: You can't believe on that.
- 13:37[SPEAKER_15]: A lot of people believe in polls and they don't even go to the polls.
- 13:41[SPEAKER_15]: That's the problem, you know.
- 13:42[SPEAKER_08]: Well a lot of people up here I look at there when he points you're not going to
- 13:46[SPEAKER_08]: when zeldon ran four years ago he got a good percentage in Jefferson County, 70, 71% but there's only 30,000 people who bothered to vote, they're lazy up here.
- 13:57[SPEAKER_15]: Yeah, he went the law, he didn't lose by much, he lost by a very small percentage.
- 14:02[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, Blakeman, I don't know, maybe.
- 14:05[SPEAKER_15]: I guess it's key to the whole, let's see what we can do with this debate, I think he can hold so I guess sure.
- 14:09[SPEAKER_08]: Well, you gotta be aggressive, you got, you know.
- 14:13[SPEAKER_08]: You know, of course, it's a tough thing.
- 14:14[SPEAKER_08]: You don't want to be seen as disrespectful to the office or beating up on a woman.
- 14:19[SPEAKER_15]: But, you know, she's fed a money like a drug concern or a city in this county, you know?
- 14:25[SPEAKER_08]: What do you think of gender being and, um, um, consentino?
- 14:32[SPEAKER_15]: Yeah, I'm surprised gender being in show up at the beta.
- 14:36[SPEAKER_15]: I wouldn't vote for gender being out of like a farm, it can get anything done.
- 14:40[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, I've constantly apparently was up in Canada today.
- 14:44[SPEAKER_08]: He wanted to try to get a feel for what the take on some of those trade and terror fisheries are.
- 14:50[SPEAKER_08]: I think that's a good idea and hope he has a good time up there and as far as Mr. Jen to being, I don't know, I'd... Are you a nice guy, but I don't think he's so pretty for that position, you know?
- 15:05[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, and they're playing him pretty hard, the drummer.
- 15:08[SPEAKER_15]: Yeah.
- 15:13[SPEAKER_15]: Oh, yes, yeah, she put out a tweeter on the social media about the great case Totally behind the woman how to hell Can she go in there and check this case off when she's already got it's at mine made up She said oh, I don't comment on that and why you put them up there.
- 15:31[SPEAKER_08]: Well the media is reporting all of it Yeah, they're making it sound like he's dead
- 15:39[SPEAKER_08]: exactly and the media is reporting the score and all thing like these people are already arrested there's nobody been arrested we don't know what happened like a two-bit or the media to read the text messages she sent me uh... some of them i saw that you know have a problem with what would have a three-cut three deal with whatever the heck what's going yeah all of a sudden two years later it's a problem i don't know i got a big fan of this fray house garbage is hazing crap
- 16:08[SPEAKER_08]: people have died over this aging can you imagine not a big fan of frat houses no oh i grew into this aging garbage that goes on these frat house i saw animal house and i that was enough for me yeah yeah so i don't know it's possible i got to hey what do you think of what's the latest on here in the city i mean they can't seem to find
- 16:38[SPEAKER_14]: Hmm, so you see what is this with backpacks at me and I've never seen that years ago How am I getting backpacks how am I getting so full how many of boarding a bike so can I store the kids fight the other day in the paper?
- 16:53[SPEAKER_14]: Hmm, just see that Don't match for them because they're very nice every body Yeah, yeah
- 17:04[UNKNOWN]: do the thing is, uh, non-profits want to kiss your butt to do this.
- 17:08[SPEAKER_14]: The problem is, you can't help people who don't want to help themselves.
- 17:12[SPEAKER_08]: Exactly.
- 17:12[SPEAKER_14]: We're going to be told what to do.
- 17:16[SPEAKER_14]: That's the pile of mine.
- 17:17[SPEAKER_08]: Mm-hmm.
- 17:18[SPEAKER_14]: And they got the right.
- 17:20[SPEAKER_14]: The ordering was against the law.
- 17:21[SPEAKER_14]: Years ago, I'm maybe to change that law.
- 17:24[UNKNOWN]: I don't know.
- 17:25[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
- 17:26[SPEAKER_08]: Hey, they want to get rid of Shamo.
- 17:29[SPEAKER_15]: some people do some people want to get rid of the village of shimo disoved is that a good idea I don't think that I don't think so yeah I don't think so yeah I wonder how the city manager of Oda on that you get to vote never referendum yeah that's right I think he's probably a citizen of shimo I would think yeah yeah that's interesting I feel about that if you but nobody gives a crap about it nobody nobody if you're sitting here paying the bills you're going to have a different mindset
- 17:59[SPEAKER_15]: You know what I mean?
- 18:01[SPEAKER_15]: If it's coming out of your pocket like it's coming out of mine a year You're just going to be a different mine.
- 18:05[SPEAKER_15]: So I think city people should live in the city And a part of the apartment at 6.75% maybe more.
- 18:13[SPEAKER_15]: Don't even live here.
- 18:14[SPEAKER_15]: I'm not Criticizing your job.
- 18:16[SPEAKER_15]: They do they do a good job, but they have no Interested what the hell's going on in the government.
- 18:22[SPEAKER_15]: You know, they don't live here.
- 18:23[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah
- 18:26[SPEAKER_08]: I know.
- 18:26[SPEAKER_08]: Thank you very much.
- 18:26[SPEAKER_08]: All right.
- 18:27[SPEAKER_08]: Well, thanks.
- 18:28[SPEAKER_08]: The angry man.
- 18:29[SPEAKER_08]: You're still angry.
- 18:32[SPEAKER_08]: I don't know.
- 18:33[SPEAKER_08]: Talk to you later.
- 18:34[SPEAKER_08]: Bye now.
- 18:35[SPEAKER_08]: All right.
- 18:35[SPEAKER_08]: That's the angry man.
- 18:36[SPEAKER_08]: He thinks so.
- 18:37[SPEAKER_08]: Women should be a fryer.
- 18:40[SPEAKER_08]: Oh.
- 18:43[SPEAKER_08]: Let's see.
- 18:46[SPEAKER_08]: Watch a niece proceed.
- 18:47[SPEAKER_08]: I don't mean to be.
- 18:51[SPEAKER_08]: but just watching these proceedings from Nashville, not entirely sure what the issue is.
- 18:56[SPEAKER_08]: I guess the her attorney, his pikes attorney is trying to get them to make sure they don't destroy the evidence, which I'm sure they wanna do.
- 19:05[SPEAKER_08]: The less of that the better, but I don't know the judge, he'd say it's she's, she should tune it in, she's smoking hot, I'll tell you.
- 19:15[SPEAKER_08]: His judge is go, and I don't normally make characterization of jurists,
- 19:22[SPEAKER_08]: But after dude you're on the air.
- 19:25[SPEAKER_13]: You're all right.
- 19:25[SPEAKER_08]: What's up?
- 19:27[SPEAKER_13]: I'm just listening to the show.
- 19:29[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
- 19:30[SPEAKER_13]: He's on fire.
- 19:31[SPEAKER_08]: Oh yeah.
- 19:31[SPEAKER_13]: He has, but...
- 19:34[UNKNOWN]: He's a good stuff right there.
- 19:36[SPEAKER_11]: I want to talk about the gender being cops and key no race.
- 19:40[SPEAKER_08]: Okay.
- 19:41[SPEAKER_11]: I'm myself.
- 19:46[UNKNOWN]: I don't know.
- 19:47[SPEAKER_10]: I just think that I think the Anthony Sandler need to be slapped.
- 19:54[SPEAKER_11]: I don't think he's, I don't think he's where he should be right now.
- 19:57[SPEAKER_11]: I don't think he's as far as I had a decision to be.
- 20:00[SPEAKER_11]: I don't think he's, I mean, and I don't, I don't think he should spend any more.
- 20:03[SPEAKER_11]: He doesn't need to spend any more money.
- 20:06[SPEAKER_11]: He doesn't need the bag for any more debates.
- 20:09[SPEAKER_11]: Because you, M9, both, no.
- 20:12[SPEAKER_11]: The guy that's begging for debates, what does that mean?
- 20:15[SPEAKER_08]: Mm-hmm, well, I mean, you're, you're behind, yeah.
- 20:20[SPEAKER_11]: You know exactly what I know.
- 20:23[SPEAKER_11]: That's very telling when someone starts backing for debates, backing for someone to meet him at the podium.
- 20:30[SPEAKER_11]: That tells me a raw.
- 20:32[SPEAKER_08]: Mm-hmm.
- 20:34[SPEAKER_11]: Oh.
- 20:34[SPEAKER_08]: Well, listen, I think that this is about closer than I should be.
- 20:38[SPEAKER_08]: This way, shit.
- 20:38[SPEAKER_08]: We can get off their hands.
- 20:40[SPEAKER_08]: But we don't know what, we don't.
- 20:41[SPEAKER_08]: Okay, we don't know if it's closer or it isn't.
- 20:44[SPEAKER_08]: I mean, most of your quote, expert.
- 20:46[SPEAKER_11]: Because I do, I do know.
- 20:48[SPEAKER_11]: I do know.
- 20:49[SPEAKER_11]: I do know how close it is.
- 20:50[SPEAKER_11]: And so do you.
- 20:55[SPEAKER_08]: Thank you.
- 20:55[SPEAKER_08]: Well, I don't actually know.
- 20:56[SPEAKER_08]: I've speculated that I thought he would win by six to eight points.
- 21:02[SPEAKER_08]: Some people say it'll be over ten.
- 21:03[SPEAKER_08]: I don't know.
- 21:04[SPEAKER_08]: I mean, to an extent that it's guessing voting obviously is, you know, people have already cast ballots across the 15 counties absentee mail invoids and so on.
- 21:15[SPEAKER_15]: And then our early voting starts a week or ten days somewhere in there.
- 21:23[SPEAKER_10]: you know we'll see what happens we'll see what happens but after you're on the air well i think you can get a new sponsor for your show with some kind of blood pressure medication for the angry man is that what we're calling the caller to call to go uh... the angry man yes such as he was uh... got the blow and ask if it's done like what did he come down so uh... maybe everything is under control
- 21:53[SPEAKER_10]: that he was going on about the death penalty and I think it's lost its effectiveness as far as the turret because it does take so long.
- 22:02[SPEAKER_10]: Mm-hmm.
- 22:03[SPEAKER_10]: Some of who has been convicted after they get a fair trial and they're convicted.
- 22:07[SPEAKER_10]: They should have maybe a month to write all their good violators to their friends and have some visitation and then it'd be carried out.
- 22:15[SPEAKER_08]: Well whatever, it isn't going to happen if it does, it'll be a while because
- 22:23[SPEAKER_08]: you know they'll obviously they're in court right now over part of it and uh... there's been a moratorium till the end of the year placed by the governor the governor make a view that he's a he's a lame duck governor of the uh... the new governor coming in uh... marshal blackbird she wants to fry him in the electric chair uh... i don't know i don't know i don't know how i feel about it
- 22:49[SPEAKER_08]: But I do think, I think she's content.
- 22:51[SPEAKER_08]: Well, you know, there is this issue of, you can't change what happened 31 years ago, but does that give society the right to exert cruel and unusual punishment?
- 23:03[SPEAKER_08]: That's what the eighth amendment's all about.
- 23:06[SPEAKER_08]: And I don't know, I think it shackled in the bed and handcuffed in all of that.
- 23:10[SPEAKER_08]: She didn't go in anywhere.
- 23:11[SPEAKER_08]: And yesterday they were trying to declare her dead and then she woke up, damn it.
- 23:17[SPEAKER_08]: That's what they said, damn it.
- 23:19[SPEAKER_08]: You know that so I don't know I It's hard to say I guess you got a lot of play out a little more medically, but Boy, I'll tell you if I were the her legal team I'd make sure I had somebody in that room all the time Get on the work they're gonna do That's right because it's embarrassing to the state and the state doesn't like to be embarrassed
- 23:45[SPEAKER_10]: I did grow up in Florida, so I am familiar with the electric chair just this fact as far as you read about how used to be used in Florida as a choice.
- 23:56[SPEAKER_08]: Well, you know, when that was brought in in the 1800s, there was a big debate between alternating current and direct current, and there was that fight going on as to which would be better to use, and you know, it was the idea that, you know, firing squads and hangings and guillotines or so messy, this is a humane way to do it.
- 24:13[SPEAKER_08]: So you strap somebody into that and then they start smoking on, you know, whatever, and that's considered humane, and then, you know, later they came up with this injection thing because it's more clinical, more sanitary, whatever, and that works most of the time, sometimes it doesn't, but I don't know, I don't, some people get worked up over an execution, I don't.
- 24:40[SPEAKER_08]: Would you want to be a witness?
- 24:43[SPEAKER_10]: about that the other day when they were interviewing a witness on one of the other realizations and I thought about them I said no I don't think I'd want to do that personally.
- 24:53[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
- 24:54[SPEAKER_10]: And if we're a public execution what I stand in line to buy tickets probably not that either.
- 25:00[SPEAKER_08]: Something like a hanging or a gear team.
- 25:07[SPEAKER_08]: Now, a deity would be 100% effective, but I imagine you still have some level of consciousness when your head falls in the basket.
- 25:15[SPEAKER_08]: Well, we'd have to go over and ask the people in France, how do they handle that?
- 25:19[SPEAKER_08]: I guess I don't know if they still do that over there.
- 25:22[SPEAKER_08]: The French way of doing it.
- 25:24[SPEAKER_08]: They're rioting in the streets now, so we don't know what they're up to.
- 25:28[SPEAKER_08]: Well, anyway, I don't know.
- 25:30[SPEAKER_08]: It's an interesting point, and we don't do that in New York, so it doesn't come up here,
- 25:37[SPEAKER_08]: I can't think of anybody up here recently, I wanted to give the death penalty too, but a couple of baby killers, maybe.
- 25:45[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.
- 25:45[SPEAKER_10]: Well, I want to mention, I think, the race for the 21st district.
- 25:52[SPEAKER_10]: I didn't see that the gen to be in.
- 25:57[SPEAKER_10]: I didn't see that the gentleman's farmer turning down the debate with the right plan for him.
- 26:07[SPEAKER_08]: work in his calendar well they had decided that the debating was not to their advantage i mean they don't lose anything by not debating they don't gain anything either i mean nobody's gonna change their vote because of that well you're probably right on that because i think people appear of already probably made up their minds now where are you for my uh... continental yard sign though in case they're headquarters listening where you're located i'm a period in the great to wonderful big county and uh...
- 26:36[SPEAKER_10]: at me a little ranch up here near the St. Lawrence River, so okay it's a beautiful day in the neighborhood, but it's cloudy and breezy, but in the foot, we're going off the tree big time, just get a hold of us, finally over and lose, but it'll get your sign that's what I need to do that.
- 26:50[SPEAKER_10]: Thank you.
- 26:51[SPEAKER_10]: Bye now.
- 26:54[SPEAKER_08]: All righty, uh, Lisbon, they're listening from the way up there in the earth on WQTK 92.7.
- 27:00[SPEAKER_08]: That's good to hear.
- 27:00[SPEAKER_08]: We love it.
- 27:01[SPEAKER_08]: We love it when they're up there.
- 27:03[SPEAKER_08]: Um, well, what else going on?
- 27:05[SPEAKER_08]: Secretary Rubio gave us speeches at the Acropolis.
- 27:10[SPEAKER_08]: Anybody know what the Acropolis is?
- 27:11[SPEAKER_08]: I didn't think so.
- 27:15[SPEAKER_08]: Good afternoon, you're on the air.
- 27:17[SPEAKER_07]: Good afternoon, Jeff.
- 27:23[SPEAKER_07]: reminded me of the fact that a few months ago, a few months ago, a big, beautiful apartment building for the homeless was built on the corner of Melon Main in Watertown.
- 27:37[SPEAKER_07]: There were about, in my recollection, approximately, 6,000, 60 units available for the homeless.
- 27:44[SPEAKER_07]: And I was wondering if you knew, or maybe you could have a guest come in that could talk
- 27:51[SPEAKER_07]: how that's going.
- 27:52[SPEAKER_07]: What's the occupancy rate?
- 27:54[SPEAKER_07]: Are they all still now?
- 27:55[SPEAKER_07]: Are they still having that advertisement for selling them?
- 28:00[SPEAKER_07]: What's the story going on?
- 28:01[SPEAKER_07]: I'm melanin.
- 28:03[SPEAKER_07]: It's a big beautiful building, but we don't seem to hear anything about it.
- 28:07[SPEAKER_07]: So keep up the good work at 92.7.
- 28:09[SPEAKER_08]: Okay, thank you.
- 28:13[SPEAKER_08]: And today I'm 1240.
- 28:14[SPEAKER_08]: We're keeping up the good work at both of them.
- 28:15[SPEAKER_08]: I don't really know what the status of that building is.
- 28:19[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, you know,
- 28:20[SPEAKER_08]: I don't inside information and I'm not a licensed journalist, so I don't really go out and seek news.
- 28:27[SPEAKER_08]: If it comes to me, I talk about it, but it'd be interesting to know what the status of the building is, how many units are occupied, all of that stuff.
- 28:39[SPEAKER_15]: Yeah.
- 28:39[SPEAKER_08]: And then what are some texts we got, somebody wants to
- 28:46[SPEAKER_08]: is the DEC investigating Mr. Jen to being I don't know there was that talk about it was dumping stuff on his property in Lisbon.
- 28:54[SPEAKER_08]: I've had other people texting me saying no he didn't he was clear of that.
- 28:58[SPEAKER_08]: I don't really know.
- 28:59[SPEAKER_08]: I've had other people from up that way say he's a fake farmer or the people say he's the salt of the earth.
- 29:05[SPEAKER_08]: I don't know.
- 29:06[SPEAKER_08]: Somebody said hey mayor how about Arthur shock ross yeah he'd probably.
- 29:11[SPEAKER_10]: Well, he's gone anyway.
- 29:12[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
- 29:13[SPEAKER_08]: Somebody wants to know, well, Mr. Fanak campaign with Mr. Constantine, you know, and I don't know.
- 29:19[SPEAKER_08]: That's kind of interesting is that she's kind of, I don't want to say checked out.
- 29:22[SPEAKER_08]: I'm sure she's doing her job.
- 29:24[SPEAKER_08]: But politically, she's kind of stayed away from this.
- 29:30[SPEAKER_08]: So I don't know.
- 29:32[SPEAKER_08]: You guys should ask her.
- 29:34[SPEAKER_08]: But I haven't seen any of the adjacent Congress members campaigning with Mr. Constantine, you know.
- 29:43[SPEAKER_08]: Um, he's arg man and nobody else or whatever it is, yeah.
- 29:47[SPEAKER_08]: Somebody said the wag doesn't live in the village, okay?
- 29:51[SPEAKER_08]: Uh, somebody says hanger or use the firing squad.
- 29:54[SPEAKER_13]: Hmm, I'm not sure.
- 29:57[SPEAKER_08]: Good afternoon, you're on the air.
- 30:01[SPEAKER_08]: Good, Dan Francis.
- 30:03[SPEAKER_16]: Yeah, a couple of issues, uh, real quick on the first one, uh, on the 21st.
- 30:07[SPEAKER_16]: I'm, of course, I'm not in there and I can't load up there, but I would just give some advice
- 30:12[SPEAKER_16]: Mr. Constantine, oh anybody else would like to take advice which they're probably old.
- 30:18[SPEAKER_16]: We're going to ask them to sell their questions and voters.
- 30:22[SPEAKER_16]: Do we want to elect someone to go into the house seat that's going to end up in the minority because we know the Democrats are going to take over.
- 30:30[UNKNOWN]: Next month, there's no doubt in my mind, or do we have somebody in the majority, it might actually be able to help work songs of policy to get things done for the people in the
- 30:42[SPEAKER_16]: That's the key question I think they need to ask themselves the voters, but that's just my opinion.
- 30:47[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, but you know, there's no matter how the elections turn out, there's going to be a little over 200 representatives who are in the minorities.
- 30:54[SPEAKER_08]: So I mean, it's.
- 30:55[UNKNOWN]: Yeah, I know.
- 30:56[SPEAKER_16]: But I would just request to put you with a survey that's your representatives in the B and the majority, which is a better chance to get yourself that.
- 31:04[SPEAKER_16]: But that's just my opinion.
- 31:05[SPEAKER_08]: Sure, though.
- 31:06[SPEAKER_16]: The good question for the voters asking themselves.
- 31:14[SPEAKER_16]: were he may be caught were he may be caught in his quote that's not me uh... if they wanted to they could take out or says or send the angle irrelevant i i say i don't think that was the most you call the call to action i would say it's just they could take them out if they had a bomb but but why didn't he say why don't they take out more or more in the or city well i think that's your call or is that why don't they take out uh...
- 31:45[SPEAKER_16]: power for him precise well he's he's a victim of his own imprecise wording a lot of times I know because that's the most horrible thing that a friend can say the guy's 80 almost inviting them to hit San Diego or hit Los Angeles and then we'll see where how I react I mean that's that I've never heard a president talk like that never in my lifetime well then he said we're gonna shrub it up and I can't even say that on the
- 32:15[SPEAKER_16]: that's a proper metaphor.
- 32:18[SPEAKER_16]: Anyway, I just can't believe that the people are actually supporting him saying something like that.
- 32:24[SPEAKER_16]: That's the most despicable thing I've ever heard any president at any time in my lifetime, at least, where I'm not following politics a lot since then.
- 32:33[SPEAKER_08]: Well, there's a lot of despicable things said, and yeah.
- 32:43[SPEAKER_08]: Well, listen, I don't have said I think he says a lot of stupid things, I mean, what do you want me to say?
- 32:48[SPEAKER_08]: I mean, it's, where it is.
- 32:50[SPEAKER_16]: Well, I, I wasn't asking for your opinion.
- 32:52[SPEAKER_16]: I was just thrown it out there as a topic that I didn't hear anybody talking about.
- 32:56[SPEAKER_16]: I tried to call a Glenn Curry last night.
- 32:58[SPEAKER_16]: I was going to do that, but he got all triggered.
- 32:59[SPEAKER_16]: We talked to the other people about other things.
- 33:02[SPEAKER_16]: I thought I'd just pass on that and try to introduce it today.
- 33:04[SPEAKER_16]: All right.
- 33:05[SPEAKER_08]: Well, we'll leave it out there, maybe somebody will pick up on it.
- 33:10[SPEAKER_08]: All right, thanks, Danny.
- 33:11[SPEAKER_16]: I wonder, I wonder if this is the most interesting thing, okay?
- 33:14[SPEAKER_08]: Thanks, Danny, bye now.
- 33:15[SPEAKER_08]: All righty, yes, somebody will be in the minority and we don't know.
- 33:19[SPEAKER_08]: It certainly appears the most experts agree that the Democrats will win enough seats to support high-keying Jeffries in his speaker.
- 33:30[SPEAKER_08]: But,
- 33:31[SPEAKER_08]: It's not a certainty.
- 33:32[SPEAKER_08]: I gotta do a commercial break right back.
- 33:34[SPEAKER_22]: Do you or someone you know have half empty aerosol cans lying around that you don't know what to do with?
- 33:39[SPEAKER_22]: What about antifreeze, or maybe even old pool chemicals?
- 33:43[SPEAKER_22]: Well, now's your chance to get rid of the items taking up space in your garage or basement.
- 33:48[SPEAKER_22]: Free of charge October 10th the development authority of the North Country is partnering with the New York State DEC to host its annual household hazardous waste recycling days.

- 34:35[SPEAKER_30]: The lights are back on.
- 34:37[SPEAKER_30]: The stands are filling up, and Friday night football has returned to the North Country.

- 34:58[SPEAKER_30]: Whether you're headed across town for the big rivalry game or traveling across North Country to cheer on your favorite team, do it in something like the spacing confidence to get you there.
- 35:08[SPEAKER_30]: And around here, we all know what comes after Friday night lights.
- 35:12[SPEAKER_30]: The leaves change, the temperature is dropped, and before you know it, those leaves turn to snow, and if you need full size SUVs, you need FX.
- 35:21[SPEAKER_30]: So get ready now.
- 35:22[SPEAKER_30]: Shop the biggest selection of SUVs and FX Capura Honda.
- 35:26[SPEAKER_30]: Hey friends, it's Luke Hobb and come check us out, exit 158 I-81 Watertown.
- 35:32[SPEAKER_30]: And good luck to all the high school athletes out there.
- 35:35[SPEAKER_19]: We all have cans and bottles, so it makes sense to bring them to the Make Sense Redemption Center on Loray Street in Watertown.
- 35:40[SPEAKER_19]: The only fully automated redemption center in the area.
- 35:43[SPEAKER_19]: Your account is done fast right before your eyes, so you're on your way quicker.

- 36:06[SPEAKER_06]: Rangers contracting.
- 36:08[SPEAKER_06]: The roof people who call you back trying.
- 36:12[SPEAKER_06]: Need a roof, get a road or a place.
- 36:14[SPEAKER_06]: We're on the case.
- 36:16[SPEAKER_06]: Haringers contracting.
- 36:19[SPEAKER_06]: The roof people who call you back.
- 36:22[SPEAKER_06]: Three, one, five, seven.
- 36:33[SPEAKER_09]: I'm not looking for a job, but Amazon is, I guess they want.
- 36:53[SPEAKER_08]: remote work opportunities could pay and all of that stuff.
- 36:56[SPEAKER_08]: So all of your interest did go ahead and do it.
- 36:58[SPEAKER_08]: I did talk to my parents here yesterday said he did give that $5,000 to the community foundation.
- 37:04[SPEAKER_08]: And our good friend of ours, Cody Horbe has texted us earlier about the dirt monkey equipment people that they had given for wanted to give $10,000 but we're getting a lot of
- 37:17[SPEAKER_13]: brief over it i'm able to get a hold of the individual but i'm going to try but we do have a gun not on the phone he got not how are you good how you do is you're not uh... when it comes to the capital punishment you're not in favor of it i don't think it's effective you had a previous college today who is saying that it lost its effectiveness unfortunately it never had any effectiveness
- 37:45[SPEAKER_13]: There's never been any link between the death penalty and the deterring crime.
- 37:54[SPEAKER_13]: You know, I mean, I just, no, put her in prison for the rest of her life, which is what they kind of done, and just forget about it.
- 38:07[SPEAKER_13]: But it's senseless that we have all these people who were
- 38:11[SPEAKER_13]: you know, sighting with her and I disagree with you a little bit when you say 30 years ago I mean, that doesn't mean anything to me when you start looking at what that girl did And really have any sympathy for her No, it was bad no doubt about it.
- 38:27[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah.
- 38:28[SPEAKER_13]: It's a question of what is it?
- 38:29[SPEAKER_13]: I'm not a death penalty person I think it's a waste of money.
- 38:32[SPEAKER_08]: You know just like um just like the Cornell thing
- 38:37[SPEAKER_08]: The political leadership gets in the middle of it saying, yeah, I'll fry the whatever, and then up at Cornell, they talk about them like they're already charged and convicted.
- 38:46[SPEAKER_08]: Nobody's even charged in that with anything.
- 38:50[SPEAKER_08]: Now that's.
- 38:51[SPEAKER_13]: Well Danny could Danny called in foam in about the comments about they could hit such a such city.
- 38:58[SPEAKER_13]: Danny, you're trying to make a story when there's no story, but I would expect that from you.
- 39:05[SPEAKER_13]: Um, it's what Trump is saying is they could do a lot of things in sitting around and watching the Iranians get nuclear weapons to put on their missiles is not really a smart thing.
- 39:20[SPEAKER_13]: I would expect Danny to be smarter than that, but that he goes to the political thing and you know, all you said, some stupid Danny, Danny, a president hasn't said that in the past because we haven't faced this in the past.
- 39:35[SPEAKER_13]: You know, we've not been in a situation where, you know, a terrorist country can actually blow up some cities.
- 39:44[SPEAKER_13]: And I just, I can't believe that he's, well, I can believe he just tried to do the course.
- 39:49[SPEAKER_08]: Well, I don't know what's going on.
- 39:50[SPEAKER_08]: We can't seem to get this Christmas parade nailed down.
- 39:53[SPEAKER_08]: The other night at the council meeting, Councilman Kimball said, well, I heard there was only $300.
- 40:00[SPEAKER_08]: It was donated.
- 40:00[SPEAKER_08]: So we can't have it.
- 40:03[SPEAKER_13]: What is he talking about and other people say yes we have donated but there's no record of them I don't know I wouldn't have said that of a council meeting and then threatened to cancel a damn thing again I mean it's yeah I don't think he was on the money with that but I don't think he kept up with the information I'm sure there's money in there that is donated I can't believe when we have a gazillion dollar fire department with
- 40:33[SPEAKER_13]: where we pump all our money into the surrounding community.
- 40:37[SPEAKER_13]: I don't think any.
- 40:38[SPEAKER_13]: Do we have any firemen who live in the city?
- 40:42[SPEAKER_08]: One or two, maybe.
- 40:43[SPEAKER_13]: One or two out of what?
- 40:44[SPEAKER_13]: 70?
- 40:45[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
- 40:46[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, it's, you know, I mean, we are throwing millions of away for people who take cats out of trees and stuff.
- 40:55[SPEAKER_13]: And, you know, we're going to worry about having a parade.
- 40:59[SPEAKER_13]: I don't understand that the priorities and I think he was really wrong doing what he did.
- 41:05[SPEAKER_15]: Hmm.
- 41:07[SPEAKER_13]: You know, that guy's got to be awful pissed too.
- 41:09[SPEAKER_13]: I mean, those surgeons, those doctors work a lot.
- 41:13[SPEAKER_08]: Well, he's rich.
- 41:14[SPEAKER_08]: No, he's rich.
- 41:15[SPEAKER_13]: No, he's rich.
- 41:16[SPEAKER_13]: He's rich.
- 41:17[SPEAKER_08]: He's rich, tired.
- 41:19[SPEAKER_13]: To the city.
- 41:20[SPEAKER_13]: I mean, he's got to be coming from surgery to the meetings.
- 41:24[SPEAKER_08]: No, no, no, he's rich.
- 41:26[SPEAKER_08]: He's rich, tired from being a doctor.
- 41:30[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, he just he looked y'all and I mean he's uh, you know, they're looking guy in everything he's up there.
- 41:36[SPEAKER_13]: I'm going to see if you have your hands are shaking a little bit.
- 41:39[SPEAKER_13]: You better get out of the business.
- 41:41[SPEAKER_08]: No, he doesn't appear to me.
- 41:42[UNKNOWN]: I'm I'm really I know you don't want me to pick on Dan and I'm not gonna.
- 41:47[SPEAKER_13]: But why do you have to make everything about party crap?
- 41:52[SPEAKER_13]: And that's all the guy does every single issue you can think of is I hate Trump.
- 41:59[SPEAKER_13]: Danny, we know you hate Trump, we know you hate Trump.
- 42:03[SPEAKER_13]: But the Iranians can do some things.
- 42:07[SPEAKER_13]: They got their missiles are going twice as far as our intelligence people fought.
- 42:12[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, our are a risk.
- 42:14[SPEAKER_13]: And it's sitting back and letting them get nuclear weapons was probably not a smart idea.
- 42:20[SPEAKER_13]: But I didn't know that.
- 42:21[SPEAKER_13]: I didn't go to intelligence officer training.
- 42:24[SPEAKER_13]: So I wouldn't know that.
- 42:26[SPEAKER_13]: But I wouldn't want
- 42:28[SPEAKER_13]: the Iranians and the fact that he picked to the used to California cities as an example he could use any city as an example they're close yeah and uh... if they don't do something that long time oh somebody i texted a message i get tax messages please ask the gunnot how we enjoy his pension well that's just the jealousy thing you know you
- 42:55[SPEAKER_13]: we've talked about this before you have to play under the rules of the New York State sets up and when you know I came up here I returned up here when I was a little bit older I was up in my 30s and you know you do what you do you either what are you going to do you either teach you either teach which is you know the best you can do that's the gold standard you know part time job hundred thousand dollars
- 43:22[SPEAKER_13]: Or you work for the prisons or you work for the medical field.
- 43:27[SPEAKER_13]: What else are you going to do?
- 43:28[SPEAKER_13]: And people think that's wrong Yeah, but that's okay.
- 43:34[SPEAKER_13]: That's just part of yeah.
- 43:36[SPEAKER_13]: I criticize people is so, you know, I criticize situations.
- 43:40[SPEAKER_13]: I'm not a fan of our
- 43:43[SPEAKER_13]: overweight fire department.
- 43:45[SPEAKER_13]: I'm not a fan of how they operate.
- 43:48[SPEAKER_08]: Mm-hmm.
- 43:49[SPEAKER_08]: Now, what do you think about, uh, uh, the governor, uh, hoaxle, every poll, every major poll has a rough nine, 11, 19, whatever.
- 43:59[SPEAKER_08]: It's pretty obvious how that's going to turn out, isn't it?
- 44:04[SPEAKER_13]: I would imagine so it, it
- 44:11[SPEAKER_13]: It amazes me than anybody can support a hawkel.
- 44:14[SPEAKER_13]: I mean, we send millions of people away from New York State.
- 44:19[SPEAKER_13]: And a light doesn't go on in the Danny's mind.
- 44:22[SPEAKER_13]: I mean, how many kids, yeah, I think even Danny's children are gone.
- 44:28[SPEAKER_13]: You know, everybody has to go.
- 44:30[SPEAKER_13]: You either stay here because you love it.
- 44:33[SPEAKER_13]: And you make the sacrifices and you work for government because that's the only real job around you.
- 44:41[SPEAKER_13]: And these party lines, Democrats, like Mr. Francis, they just look at this and say, let's do more of it.
- 44:52[SPEAKER_13]: The last thing in the world I want to see is the Democratic Party getting more power.
- 44:59[SPEAKER_13]: I would never hope for a gender beam, although I got nothing against them, it seems like a decent guy.
- 45:06[SPEAKER_13]: But there's nothing to do with that.
- 45:07[SPEAKER_13]: It's all about party.
- 45:11[SPEAKER_08]: There you go.
- 45:13[SPEAKER_08]: Okay, well listen, I gotta go because I got some commercials to do, but it's good to hear from you.

- 49:17[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah.
- 49:17[SPEAKER_11]: Well, similar.
- 49:20[SPEAKER_11]: Virtually the same crime, and yet the two guys that committed that crime against
- 49:29[SPEAKER_11]: get to that penalty.
- 49:30[SPEAKER_11]: Like it's a very least that I wish New York would be a little more strict when it comes to those types of cases and you know what's how it's what's passed down for sentencing is opposed to you know well it is it isn't I don't I don't get it I don't I don't I don't know what you know about it or what your thoughts are on the whole depth penalty thing anyway but it does
- 49:59[SPEAKER_08]: 50 states, 50 sets of rules, you know, the emotions are involved, you know, the type of crime you've committed.
- 50:07[SPEAKER_08]: And yes, there are people who killed people who were walking around water down right now, probably.
- 50:13[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, absolutely.
- 50:15[SPEAKER_11]: The crimes are virtually identical.
- 50:17[SPEAKER_11]: Two people take a third version into the woods and stab them to death in horrific fashion, all teenagers, and
- 50:28[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, I'm going to street the other crazy to the near to soft-down crime bottom line needs change Well, that it is that it is.
- 50:37[SPEAKER_08]: Yep.
- 50:38[SPEAKER_08]: Okay All right.
- 50:41[SPEAKER_08]: Thank you.
- 50:41[SPEAKER_08]: Bye now.
- 50:42[SPEAKER_08]: All righty.
- 50:43[SPEAKER_08]: Well, there you go.
- 50:43[SPEAKER_08]: That's an opinion two soft-down crime.
- 50:46[SPEAKER_08]: I yeah, probably The Kathy Hockel says we're a sanctuary state We provide sanctuary We are like ice
- 50:56[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, they're bad bad people.
- 50:58[SPEAKER_08]: So yeah, you get away with a lot in New York.
- 51:03[SPEAKER_08]: Somebody texting, he's a cry baby.
- 51:05[SPEAKER_08]: Meaning Gary.
- 51:06[SPEAKER_08]: Somebody texting, you think Kim Bull is mayor material.
- 51:09[SPEAKER_08]: I didn't say that.
- 51:10[SPEAKER_08]: I said I voted for him when he ran for council.
- 51:15[SPEAKER_08]: I don't know who'd be a good mayor next year.
- 51:17[SPEAKER_08]: Maybe Cody Horabazzle run.
- 51:19[SPEAKER_08]: a little council experience a little more you know seasoning in his life now uh... the uh... that might be something i'm gonna have to ask a little store beds about that uh... somebody said why should taxpayers pay the houses people for years we pay for a lot of things folks that i you know some of these people our brain dead in state hospitals that you know
- 51:47[SPEAKER_08]: We're still paying for the guy who shot the cop on Pillar Point, right?
- 51:51[SPEAKER_08]: Moss wasn't.
- 51:52[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
- 51:53[SPEAKER_08]: So I mean, there's a lot of people who were still paying for it.
- 51:58[SPEAKER_08]: Good afternoon.
- 52:00[SPEAKER_08]: Oh.
- 52:02[SPEAKER_08]: Hold on.
- 52:02[SPEAKER_08]: I'm in on the Christmas parade.
- 52:05[SPEAKER_05]: I called earlier and I said, maybe the downtown Business Association and the Chamber of Commerce need to get involved with it like they used to be.
- 52:13[SPEAKER_05]: while ago, and these people that sent in donations, if they didn't put on the memo of their checks, it was for the Watertown Christmas parade, it might just go into a general fund, not it.
- 52:26[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
- 52:27[SPEAKER_08]: Well, here's the situation.
- 52:29[SPEAKER_08]: If you want to donate money to the city, because you think they don't have enough money to provide the services we expect, which is what this issue is.
- 52:39[SPEAKER_08]: And if you don't think they have enough money, just write a check to the city.
- 52:42[SPEAKER_08]: You could write a check for $5, 10 dollars, city of water town.
- 52:46[UNKNOWN]: Sure.
- 52:46[SPEAKER_10]: You don't have to long do it through some not-for-profit or anything like that.
- 52:50[SPEAKER_08]: And if you wanted to go to something specific, you put that moment down.
- 52:53[SPEAKER_08]: Well, I don't know what you can do.
- 52:54[SPEAKER_08]: I don't know what the city of you can do that.
- 52:56[SPEAKER_08]: But if you just want to give general donations to governments, state government, county government, city government, you can do that.
- 53:03[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know many people that are willing to do that, though, because we all pay
- 53:08[SPEAKER_08]: Well, a lot of people think that some of these things are like part of what the panoply of things that we have here, but there's people who think otherwise, and they happen to be unelected office right now.
- 53:19[SPEAKER_05]: So, but if you want to send money, why they don't have it the last weekend in November like they did before, or the first weekend in December, why are they waiting so late to have their stands at a couple of years ago, they didn't want to interfere with something.
- 53:33[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, festival of trees or something.
- 53:39[SPEAKER_05]: got it no matter what you do somebody's going to say well you know that's the night I was going to go to the movie that just seems to have happened to the current mayor I'm not sure why she does a lot of stuff in coordination with well the mayor really doesn't have any powers do anything so I mean it's things like that I'm not I'm not really sure that I would love to see it go back to the beginning very beginning of December tail end of November
- 54:03[SPEAKER_05]: like in and after noon or something and the weather is even maybe a little bit better than the last weekend in November then it is the second weekend in December.
- 54:12[SPEAKER_08]: Do it on the other Sunday after Thanksgiving.
- 54:14[SPEAKER_05]: Exactly and then if you want to have a festival or something the second weekend in December indoors you can do that but even for the tree lighting should technically be pretty close to the first Sunday event of the second or third Sunday event.
- 54:28[SPEAKER_08]: There you go.
- 54:29[SPEAKER_08]: Okay.
- 54:30[SPEAKER_08]: Well thank you so much for the call.
- 54:33[SPEAKER_08]: I know, and we'll be back with more in a moment.

- 54:45[SPEAKER_04]: Exactly.
- 54:46[SPEAKER_20]: A postcard with a QR code, a brochure that matches their website, social media, reinforces their message.

- 58:00[SPEAKER_08]: But I do think you can I think you can just give money to governments.
- 58:05[SPEAKER_08]: You can't say how it's going to be spent because once it's in that thing, I mean, but if you feel good doing that I don't know about these We always tend to want a nice organization like the community fund You know somehow collect the money and hold it and all of that stuff and I
