- 0:00Happy Monday morning, everybody. Did you all see Black Sabbath?
- 0:09Ozzy Osbourne? They played their very last gig
- 0:14together and that crowd was incredible.
- 0:20So I didn't really realize that Ozzy Osbourne, he's got
- 0:24Parkinson and came out in a wheelchair.
- 0:27The Prince of Darkness, man, old man needs something else.
- 0:33Steven Tyler from Aerosmith, he sang Led Zeppelin.
- 0:38You need cooling a baby. I'm not fooling.
- 0:43I'm going to take you back to school and got a hold out of
- 0:50love. Man, that was good stuff.
- 0:53What's your favorite Black Sabbath Ozzy song?
- 0:58Mine's crazy train it it I'm crazy.
- 1:03So it plus it's a good one saying I'm going off the wheels
- 1:10of the crazy train. I like that he's got a lot of
- 1:15good ones. Black Sabbath with Ozzy
- 1:18Osbourne, they got a lot of good ones.
- 1:21OK, a couple things before I talk a little bit about the
- 1:26NASCAR race. I went to Quincy last night on
- 1:33Sunday run finish 4th finish the good 4th.
- 1:40But son of a booger, I felt like I had a a body suit on.
- 1:46I was so humid. I don't I don't know if I was
- 1:48hot. I was humid, just like humid had
- 1:52that fire suit on. And you know, they, they almost
- 1:56rained out at Quincy. They had a they had rain on
- 1:59Saturday night, They had rain on Sunday morning.
- 2:04They did a good job. Quincy's a great race track, but
- 2:07the track was rough. And my car is, my car is built
- 2:13for the South. My car is built by Nick Hoffman.
- 2:16It's an elite and Nick builds that car for that red southern
- 2:21clay, you know, real hard and it's compliant.
- 2:24My car, my car is compliant. It's it's meant to run real
- 2:29smooth, slippery tracks. So man, I had to go to work.
- 2:34I I was running second in my heat and I biked up and about
- 2:38flipped. I was running and then like
- 2:40coming to the checkered, my car started playing on the and I
- 2:44lost second fell the third. So I don't know what I was
- 2:51thinking. I got in.
- 2:52I'm like damn. And I said to hell with it.
- 2:54So made a major change on my left rear fix that.
- 3:01And me, I mean I sweated my balls off.
- 3:04So after the I finished fourth in the feature.
- 3:08So after the race I took my fire suit off, put all my clothes on.
- 3:11I didn't have my shirt on yet and I was so hot.
- 3:16So I just just like a kid, I just jumped in my truck and took
- 3:21off with no shirt, but I had to pull over to get my transponder
- 3:27back and get get my money. Well, when I did that, Oh my
- 3:34God, there's people in line. I didn't care and and
- 3:38everybody's like, we're all damn Luca Wallace.
- 3:42I'm like, you all are redneck as me.
- 3:45Look at you. I just didn't have my shirt on.
- 3:48So I posted a picture last night.
- 3:52I was just trying to cool off. I was fully dressed, but I had
- 3:57my black socks on, my black shoes, my shorts.
- 4:01So one of the drivers or team members, they took a picture.
- 4:04I posted it. It was funny.
- 4:07It was just funny. And then of course, if you're on
- 4:11Instagram, you, you see the redneck bra.
- 4:15It's, it's these kids from the country.
- 4:17They're, that's who I was emulating that there's these
- 4:20kids that are skinny and, but they think they're badass and
- 4:24they're, and they're like, they're like, I'll tell you
- 4:26what, you come on out, I'll kick his ass.
- 4:29And so I kind of gave one of those poses like it was funny.
- 4:35So OK, Quincy was great, but I, but I, I got to say this too.
- 4:40They had a there, there's a vintage series and it's this,
- 4:45these group of older men and ladies.
- 4:48There was 15 vintage cars and they get up to speed and they
- 4:52race. I want to thank the vintage
- 4:55people. They were so nice to me.
- 4:58You know, when I'm around competitors, they stare at me
- 5:01like they want to kill me. You know, it's like, what's that
- 5:05Wallace doing here thinking he's going to he ain't no better than
- 5:09you know, I mean, that's really the way it is.
- 5:11But the vintage group, Oh my God, they, they just, you know,
- 5:17I was there early and the whole 15 trucking trailers at the
- 5:22vintage cars, they pulled in and every one of them were like, and
- 5:30the one that parked next to me, he said we got blown cheese
- 5:34sandwich, anything you want, Kenny.
- 5:37Then the one on the other side, he gave me two Gatorades and one
- 5:41said, Kenny, just want to let you know that we were on our way
- 5:46up here and we didn't know you were going to be here.
- 5:49And we were talking what a good guy you were.
- 5:51And we really like you. And it just was awesome.
- 5:56And so I want to thank the vintage group for just being
- 5:58nice to me, that it was probably one of my most pleasurable trips
- 6:02in years just because they they're racers, but you know,
- 6:09they're just having fun. And it made me realize why I
- 6:13like racing in the 1st place. So thank you to the Vintage
- 6:17Group. Awesome people, great men, and
- 6:20thanks for the Gatorades. Whoa.
- 6:23OK, Chicago number one. I don't think we're going back
- 6:31to Chicago so everybody can chill the out.
- 6:35OK, My God, do you ever get on any social media during or after
- 6:41a NASCAR race? It is so toxic.
- 6:46It's like somebody killed your mother and all we're doing is
- 6:49watching a race. Man, I, I guess I was just born
- 6:54different. The anger that the pure anger
- 6:58that comes out of a lot of people.
- 7:01I, I mean, you're more people are watching NASCAR right now
- 7:06than ever before. I had a friend text me.
- 7:10Well, it was Gordy. Gordy Gundaker.
- 7:12Gordy texted me. Because Harmon, they just got to
- 7:14get away from this road course or this street course.
- 7:17I said, Gordy. I said they usually do three
- 7:21years at a time. And I said next year they're
- 7:23supposed to either go to San Diego or Philly.
- 7:26Oh, that's good. That's good.
- 7:29Then. Then, my God, the crying and the
- 7:34whining. I mean, this Shane van Gisbergen
- 7:38was gone. He could have coasted to the
- 7:40wind, but yet Cody Ware had a catastrophic wreck.
- 7:46This Cody Ware vicious wreck. And he keys his button on his
- 7:52radio and says I need help. So they throw the caution and
- 7:56the race ends under caution. But but here's what I don't
- 8:00understand. We all know the rules.
- 8:04We do know this rule. We know that in NASCAR, when
- 8:08they're throw the white flag, if the caution comes out, the race
- 8:12is over. Now that that rule's been around
- 8:15for a couple, three years, because we got to the point
- 8:18there at Talladega and other tracks where we just, you know,
- 8:22we'd rack, we rack, we rack. And I said, OK, look, guys, you
- 8:26know, we've been through this before.
- 8:27Everybody when the white flag comes out, OK, and then there's
- 8:33a wreck. The race is over.
- 8:35Now, I understand it's disappointing, but that's the
- 8:39rule. And here's the other thing.
- 8:42If there were been a fight for the lead, I could have kind of
- 8:45go, yeah, what a bummer. But I mean, Shane van Gisberg,
- 8:48and he was gone. Like, goodbye.
- 8:49He was like, gone. So respond right here.
- 8:54Was it disappointing just because you wanted something to
- 8:56pick on? That's what I think it is.
- 8:58I think it's, I think #1 there's a lot of people out there that
- 9:03just hate Chicago because they got a lot of killings up there
- 9:06and they can't get over it. Everybody kills each other.
- 9:09There's shootings in the city of Chicago.
- 9:11I hate Chicago now. I hate NASCAR being there.
- 9:15So that right away puts you in a pissy mood.
- 9:19I believe a lot of you just can't watch the NASCAR race at
- 9:22Chicago just to watch the race. I think the whole time the cars
- 9:26are going around circles. You're thinking how much you
- 9:29hate Chicago. Guys, girls, just you got to be
- 9:33able to peel the banana, right? There's layers.
- 9:37Look, I just got done eating my banana.
- 9:40Say. So let's say let's say this
- 9:42banana peel is Chicago. But but the racing was on the I
- 9:48ate it. It was this is Chicago, the
- 9:50city. But I ate the banana.
- 9:52It's good. I'm not eating the banana, the
- 9:56peel. I'm not, I'm not.
- 9:59So OK, I guess that's it. We're going to do Herman
- 10:02Schrader and one of the the topic at the start of Herbert
- 10:07Schrader is going to be how horrible I am at repeating
- 10:10myself. And we're going to get down to
- 10:12why do I repeat myself? What what happened in my
- 10:15childhood? Why am I like that?
- 10:20Respond right here. Happy.
- 10:24That's how hard I worked last night.
- 10:25My God the dirt is I've washed my hand 6 times at least.
- 10:32Happy Monday.
