- 0:22Speaker 2: Hi, welcome hie hye, welcome.
- 0:26Speaker 3: Back, welcome back, welcome back.
- 0:36Speaker 2: Yes, episode ten, we have changed directions. We of course
- 0:41Speaker 2: invited the beautiful, talented, charming, more ladylike and polite version
- 0:46Speaker 2: of us Karen Fankover for another episode, but we've switched
- 0:51Speaker 2: to welcome back corner.
- 0:52Speaker 1: Yeah, missus Cotila.
- 0:56Speaker 2: I can't think of a single quote from Bug are you? Yeah,
- 1:01Speaker 2: sign Epstein's mother. There you go in the barberina. Yeah,
- 1:07Speaker 2: we'll be watching Taxi next week.
- 1:09Speaker 1: Guys. Oh, I love Taxi.
- 1:13Speaker 3: I rewatched it and I was talking to me.
- 1:16Speaker 1: I went, oh, judd Hirsh.
- 1:17Speaker 4: Was cute and I had never fought that way.
- 1:19Speaker 3: Yeah, I was joking.
- 1:21Speaker 2: Yeah, judd Hirsh holds up in that. I was like, oh, hello,
- 1:25Speaker 2: but no one's ever been sexier at any age, I
- 1:28Speaker 2: think than Ted Dance. Ted Dance and really rode through
- 1:31Speaker 2: some awkward with.
- 1:32Speaker 1: His white hair. I love him with his white hair.
- 1:37Speaker 2: But there's something Sam Malone, I mean, I think in
- 1:43Speaker 2: his stupid brain, he was like, I dated what we go, okay,
- 1:48Speaker 2: but like it wasn't no never.
- 1:51Speaker 3: People are so stupid.
- 1:54Speaker 2: But Julianne Huff, she did black face to play crazy
- 1:58Speaker 2: eyes for Halloween.
- 1:59Speaker 1: Just not okay, and.
- 2:00Speaker 2: Like we're one thousand percent is a nation still behind her,
- 2:04Speaker 2: so I think we make some guys. I hate to
- 2:07Speaker 2: do this for episode ten, but.
- 2:08Speaker 1: Squirrel tell the squirrels about blackface.
- 2:15Speaker 5: I know.
- 2:16Speaker 2: I can't bring racism to their tiny, happy lives full
- 2:19Speaker 2: of peanuts. I can't, y. Yeah, they come and go
- 2:24Speaker 2: very quickly.
- 2:25Speaker 1: Here.
- 2:25Speaker 2: It's a lot like OZ, except that instead of witches
- 2:28Speaker 2: and munchkins, I just have squirrels and Abby. Anyway, so
- 2:32Speaker 2: sometimes my jokes fail. Fail guys, it's fine. Everyone stop
- 2:36Speaker 2: looking at me with that sad disappointment in your face.
- 2:38Speaker 6: We love you.
- 2:40Speaker 3: I was laughing on the inside.
- 2:45Speaker 2: I hope the mic caught that, because if the mic
- 2:47Speaker 2: didn't catch that, here's that sigh again. Anyway, we had
- 2:53Speaker 2: so much fun with Karen. We wanted her to come back,
- 2:55Speaker 2: so welcome back.
- 2:56Speaker 6: Thank you.
- 2:56Speaker 2: Anything happened to you over the last week or two episodes?
- 3:01Speaker 6: Just a lot of work, yeah, a lot of work
- 3:04Speaker 6: on summer. So happy to be here.
- 3:07Speaker 3: So many numbers, that's some fun.
- 3:08Speaker 5: So many numbers, so many numbers, all the maths, all right,
- 3:12Speaker 5: I can't I can't torture you for the sake of kfee.
- 3:15Speaker 5: But what would we like to talk about right now?
- 3:18Speaker 5: What is in your what's a bee in your bonnet?
- 3:22Speaker 4: Well, last time we talked about heretic Jodi and Kristen.
- 3:25Speaker 1: Do you have any movies you've seen.
- 3:26Speaker 3: I've I've really only been watching sappy Hallmark Christmas movies,
- 3:33Speaker 3: so I don't think that's fair. Dear listeners want to
- 3:36Speaker 3: hear about a merry Scottish Christmas?
- 3:40Speaker 2: Oh that?
- 3:41Speaker 1: Oh nice, it's a great title.
- 3:44Speaker 2: It sounds nice. I'll watch that in a couple of
- 3:46Speaker 2: years when I decide that I can't live without cable
- 3:49Speaker 2: and I buy it, or it's on Hallmark streaming.
- 3:51Speaker 3: It's on Netflix.
- 3:52Speaker 2: Oh shit again? Yeah, see, okay, you didn't when you
- 3:57Speaker 2: said Hallmark, I thought you had cable.
- 3:59Speaker 1: I don't.
- 4:00Speaker 3: No, I don't have cable.
- 4:01Speaker 4: Do they have their own streaming It's on peacock.
- 4:05Speaker 3: Or is I like to refer to it as peacock Cock?
- 4:10Speaker 2: You can pay for Hallmark movies now, which is its
- 4:14Speaker 2: own streaming service, which they say, oh, you have facts
- 4:18Speaker 2: to our shows and stuff, But what they mean is
- 4:20Speaker 2: like there's still the delay of like, which is weird
- 4:24Speaker 2: because Hallmarks in our country, but you have that UK
- 4:27Speaker 2: delay of like up to a year on stuff and
- 4:30Speaker 2: sometimes more than a year.
- 4:31Speaker 1: Like oh yeah, still every channel has streaming now, isn't it.
- 4:34Speaker 3: Last year Kristen and Aaron were talking about this like
- 4:39Speaker 3: Christmas and notting Hill. Yeah, I could not because I
- 4:45Speaker 3: don't have cable. I only have the Hallmark channel through Peacock.
- 4:51Speaker 3: I could never find it. But now it's on Netflix.
- 4:54Speaker 3: So I watched that one relatively recently, and I thought
- 4:58Speaker 3: that was so freaking adorable that that want to be
- 5:02Speaker 3: football or tried to pull a Christiano Ronaldo when he
- 5:07Speaker 3: scored a goal.
- 5:09Speaker 1: I don't know what that verb means.
- 5:11Speaker 2: You know, it's a really good comparison or like an
- 5:14Speaker 2: analogy to like a real life event.
- 5:17Speaker 3: Is to talk about football.
- 5:19Speaker 2: Well, you know, what's a good audience for your football? Yeah?
- 5:24Speaker 3: This, I know, this is like the perfect perfect audience
- 5:28Speaker 3: for it.
- 5:29Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't know.
- 5:31Speaker 3: Yeah, most footballers when they score a goal, they have
- 5:37Speaker 3: a certain gesture that they do. Christiano Ronaldo did this
- 5:43Speaker 3: slide thing, and that's exactly what this uh, this gentleman
- 5:47Speaker 3: tried to recreate, but he couldn't. He didn't slide for
- 5:52Speaker 3: very long, and you could see that it hurt his knees,
- 5:56Speaker 3: and when he tried to stand to under knees he was.
- 5:59Speaker 6: Like similar to the little dances that the American footballer
- 6:06Speaker 6: touched it end zone dance.
- 6:08Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I can't get it.
- 6:10Speaker 6: Have you seen Woman of the Hour on Netflix?
- 6:13Speaker 4: Yes?
- 6:15Speaker 1: I don't know what that is.
- 6:16Speaker 6: It's a show based on a true crime story about
- 6:19Speaker 6: a man who was a serial killer back in the seventies.
- 6:22Speaker 6: And in one of his wait, I'm.
- 6:24Speaker 1: Sure, sorry, I forgot what was called.
- 6:26Speaker 3: Fuck it's so good with Anna Kendrick.
- 6:29Speaker 1: I called the dating show. No, I haven't seen it,
- 6:32Speaker 1: but yeah, i'd like to. Oh, yeah, it's so good.
- 6:34Speaker 1: It's very good. Okay, they did.
- 6:37Speaker 3: They did a good depiction of.
- 6:41Speaker 5: That.
- 6:42Speaker 1: That was a true story.
- 6:43Speaker 6: Yeah, the true story back in the seventies.
- 6:45Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, oh yeah. And I just like it was
- 6:48Speaker 3: only a couple of years ago that Paul Holes on
- 6:52Speaker 3: his podcast was going into all of like the pictures
- 6:56Speaker 3: that they found from this guy's like storage. Yeah, there's
- 7:03Speaker 3: so many unidentified victims that they're releasing pictures like one
- 7:07Speaker 3: by one to try.
- 7:08Speaker 1: To see do you know who?
- 7:10Speaker 3: This is kind of personal life.
- 7:14Speaker 6: Yeah, there's speculation that they had hundreds.
- 7:19Speaker 2: Yeah, they talk hundreds.
- 7:20Speaker 1: My favorite murder too. Yeah, what city was he in?
- 7:24Speaker 2: All Over? All Over was in New York for a time.
- 7:28Speaker 2: He was in La specific Northwest. Yeah, he just basically
- 7:33Speaker 2: drove around killing people. Yeah, and he was charming enough
- 7:38Speaker 2: that he got obviously on the dating game. But he
- 7:41Speaker 2: wasn't unattractive and he had that Ted Bundy kind of
- 7:45Speaker 2: like charm to him, and so he was successful. It's
- 7:49Speaker 2: it's those just cute enough sociopaths that get the big
- 7:54Speaker 2: numbers and the murders. You know, if you're born ugly
- 7:57Speaker 2: and you're a sociopath, you're fucked. Yeah, to work so
- 8:00Speaker 2: much harder, to schmooz a woman into your car to.
- 8:03Speaker 6: Killer you know, right, that could love the name of
- 8:06Speaker 6: the next movie.
- 8:07Speaker 3: Just cute enough, Just cute enough. No lifetime presents because murderers, well,
- 8:19Speaker 3: I mean Hallmark could make.
- 8:20Speaker 4: You know, a joint collaboration.
- 8:24Speaker 1: I don't know. They used to just for Christmas.
- 8:27Speaker 2: They've always called that one channel Hallmark, like movies and mysteries,
- 8:31Speaker 2: and like for years, my mom and dad would be
- 8:34Speaker 2: like murders and mysteries. It was like, no, they don't
- 8:37Speaker 2: say murder. They straight up kill at least one person
- 8:40Speaker 2: per movie on that channel, sometimes multiples, but they never
- 8:44Speaker 2: use the word because they're so Christian based alive. They'll
- 8:47Speaker 2: say it's a mystery. They never want to admit that
- 8:51Speaker 2: there's murders in every film, just.
- 8:55Speaker 6: Cute enough for murder.
- 8:59Speaker 2: I I saw an interesting preview actually last time before
- 9:03Speaker 2: we talked to I forgot about the preview.
- 9:05Speaker 1: For the Nicole Kidman coming movie coming out.
- 9:07Speaker 2: Oh yeah, a good girl, Baby Girl, Baby girl. Baby
- 9:13Speaker 2: girl plays like an aging I think she's a light
- 9:17Speaker 2: Emles brand or something. She feels very like Martha or Ellen,
- 9:23Speaker 2: like female like leader of this company.
- 9:25Speaker 1: She's a boss girl. Yeah, she's a boss. Yes.
- 9:29Speaker 2: And girl she's getting like botox and whe seeing she's
- 9:32Speaker 2: talking about like the perfection of leading a company as
- 9:35Speaker 2: a female and stuff.
- 9:36Speaker 4: Also, they hardly mentioned the trailer married Tantonio Benderas nothing is.
- 9:41Speaker 2: Seen as that. Yeah, and Tonio Banderis is her very
- 9:44Speaker 2: sexy husband.
- 9:46Speaker 1: They barely put the trailer.
- 9:48Speaker 2: He's not really a big part of the movie because
- 9:50Speaker 2: the whole premise is that this intern asks her this
- 9:54Speaker 2: like sexually aggressive question, and they enter into this like
- 9:58Speaker 2: BDSM relationship.
- 10:00Speaker 1: He's the dom, he's the interesting.
- 10:04Speaker 4: But I'm like, you got Antonio at home, and this
- 10:06Speaker 4: little torp's going good on your knees.
- 10:09Speaker 2: Honestly, I'm kind of into it. Like, I think it's
- 10:12Speaker 2: so cool that there's a female sexually driven like age
- 10:18Speaker 2: gap romance because it's always the other.
- 10:20Speaker 3: Oh, it's gonna do always the other way.
- 10:22Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean it's gonna go bad. It's gonna go bad.
- 10:26Speaker 2: But like, also, Nicole Kidman is having this really sweet
- 10:30Speaker 2: like resurgeons of her career, which she's sort of like.
- 10:36Speaker 1: Movie.
- 10:37Speaker 2: Yeah, she's great, and she's great in that Perfect Couple
- 10:43Speaker 2: series on either I think that's like Netflix or Hulu.
- 10:47Speaker 3: No, it's on Hulu Hulu.
- 10:48Speaker 1: No, that was Sam Milk's.
- 10:50Speaker 3: No, it's not. Sam's on a streaming service, not.
- 10:53Speaker 1: The one with Sam Nils No.
- 10:55Speaker 2: Perfect Couples her and Leave Schreiber's another delf. Yeah yeah,
- 11:01Speaker 2: can I call them delves if they're just my age,
- 11:03Speaker 2: I guess that's just fuck.
- 11:05Speaker 3: I'm old age your dad, So yeah.
- 11:09Speaker 2: Yeah, that's true. Yeah, dude, I follow a Disney I
- 11:17Speaker 2: follow a Disney based dilf Instagram. It's the Delfs of Disneyland,
- 11:24Speaker 2: and it's just like all the like sexy tattooed dads
- 11:27Speaker 2: with like a stroller with a kid in it in
- 11:29Speaker 2: the park.
- 11:32Speaker 3: It is.
- 11:33Speaker 2: It is single lady porn. It's like oh, because every
- 11:37Speaker 2: once in a while the person will be like, actually
- 11:39Speaker 2: I know this person and he's single or whatever, and
- 11:41Speaker 2: you're like, oh, a dad, I would like to fuck
- 11:44Speaker 2: and a free family sold. And it can wash it,
- 11:49Speaker 2: it can wipe its butt. It's old enough an it's perfect. Kid. Yes,
- 11:53Speaker 2: I call children that I'm not attached to in any
- 11:56Speaker 2: way it, which makes Kristen so mad becau because her
- 12:00Speaker 2: niece Melody, who I plan to kidnap for a short while,
- 12:04Speaker 2: not like forever.
- 12:05Speaker 1: I want to give it back.
- 12:07Speaker 2: I call her and it sometimes because it's not mine.
- 12:10Speaker 2: I don't call abby.
- 12:11Speaker 1: It did say they at least be neutral.
- 12:15Speaker 2: It is general neutral. So I don't understand. Yeah, my
- 12:19Speaker 2: niece is not an it. Your niece is a goddamn
- 12:23Speaker 2: adorable baby, but I don't want it for more than
- 12:26Speaker 2: a few hours at a time, so I need to
- 12:28Speaker 2: be in close proximity to your family. Steal it, sorry,
- 12:32Speaker 2: steal her for a few hours and then be like
- 12:36Speaker 2: this pooped. I don't want it.
- 12:39Speaker 1: That's part of being an aunt. You get to play
- 12:42Speaker 1: with them and then send them home.
- 12:44Speaker 2: I don't have siblings.
- 12:47Speaker 3: It shows.
- 12:49Speaker 1: So what's your sock, Jodie?
- 12:53Speaker 3: Well, today's sock is my Manchester United Christmas sock?
- 13:00Speaker 1: Oh getting festival?
- 13:02Speaker 3: Yes it is not. It was not purchased at the
- 13:05Speaker 3: sock shopping but it was purchased at or on the
- 13:11Speaker 3: fans store for Manchester United.
- 13:13Speaker 1: That's where the fuck are the socks we bought you? Yeah,
- 13:17Speaker 1: they're they're coming. They haven't worked their way into the
- 13:20Speaker 1: rotation yet.
- 13:21Speaker 2: So wait, are you only wearing one sock?
- 13:23Speaker 4: Then?
- 13:23Speaker 2: What is wrong with He's now showing us her feet
- 13:26Speaker 2: to verify she's on her Where is your other sock?
- 13:31Speaker 3: It's in the drawer.
- 13:33Speaker 1: Why didn't you get it when you got this sock?
- 13:36Speaker 3: Listen? It's it's been a really rough week. I was
- 13:42Speaker 3: not thinking.
- 13:44Speaker 1: I have one.
- 13:48Speaker 3: Task in mind, and that is all that.
- 13:51Speaker 4: It's called a Jason, bring me a sock, honey.
- 13:55Speaker 2: Look at you a sock bell for your sock, butler, Jason.
- 14:02Speaker 6: I think we need to message Jason to bring her
- 14:04Speaker 6: a drink.
- 14:05Speaker 4: No for that.
- 14:08Speaker 1: Fox somewhere.
- 14:10Speaker 2: Well, this is a considerable amount of time in a
- 14:13Speaker 2: recent trip to Vegas, where I was being gas lit
- 14:16Speaker 2: by four people that I thought loved me.
- 14:18Speaker 1: So what's fun? That's little about what? Oh?
- 14:24Speaker 2: Oh they eat a bean eat a bean fiasco. Aaron
- 14:30Speaker 2: and Stevie and Kristen and Jeremy were all complacent in
- 14:36Speaker 2: telling me I said something I didn't say for several days.
- 14:42Speaker 2: Did I stay complacent?
- 14:43Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 14:43Speaker 2: I did?
- 14:44Speaker 1: Yeah, Sorry, thanks? English is hard this early, guys.
- 14:47Speaker 2: Anyway, they gas lit me for like two days before
- 14:50Speaker 2: anyone fucking said no. No of me didn't say that
- 14:53Speaker 2: out loud.
- 14:54Speaker 1: None of us could quite remember who said it.
- 14:57Speaker 2: Everybody knew Stevie and Aaron. I'm how did that get Karen?
- 15:02Speaker 2: There's no way you didn't know, miss innocent. So we
- 15:05Speaker 2: all get picked on here, Okay we do, except Karen.
- 15:08Speaker 2: Karen is honestly delight, beauty and grace, and.
- 15:14Speaker 6: I wouldn't be mad if he picked on me.
- 15:16Speaker 2: It's not possible.
- 15:17Speaker 6: I could take it.
- 15:18Speaker 2: It's not possible. You're like the one person that like,
- 15:22Speaker 2: I just never want to upset and and I just
- 15:25Speaker 2: you're lovely.
- 15:27Speaker 6: Oh because of this? Can you see this?
- 15:30Speaker 1: Oh my god?
- 15:32Speaker 4: Norwegian woman oh yeah, an odd combination of really sweet
- 15:38Speaker 4: and don't mess with me.
- 15:40Speaker 1: Yeah, that's fair, that's fair.
- 15:42Speaker 3: I love it.
- 15:43Speaker 2: That's fair. Karen has the same disease I have called
- 15:46Speaker 2: we don't understand mirror images, because you and I are
- 15:51Speaker 2: so guilty of that. I've done it like six times
- 15:53Speaker 2: already today where I'm like, look at this thing over here,
- 15:56Speaker 2: and I've and then I'm just I'm pushing it further
- 15:58Speaker 2: from the camera, and you started off a little away
- 16:01Speaker 2: from the camera.
- 16:01Speaker 1: I don't know why, specially I have a.
- 16:04Speaker 2: Problem with that, but you've made me feel comfortable that like.
- 16:07Speaker 1: Yeah, where did you get that mon Norwegian?
- 16:11Speaker 3: I got it?
- 16:12Speaker 6: Yeah, and yes from Norwegiagia.
- 16:15Speaker 2: Yeah, it's like I can't but it's like a lesser
- 16:18Speaker 2: known store called Norwegian.
- 16:20Speaker 6: No, there's a there's really great website that sells Norwegian
- 16:23Speaker 6: type things that's called only Norway dot com. I think,
- 16:26Speaker 6: and I oh, I like to get my nerdy, my
- 16:29Speaker 6: nerdy Norwegian.
- 16:31Speaker 2: I know your husband is not in the room, but
- 16:34Speaker 2: I have to still ask, just to upset Gina. Do
- 16:37Speaker 2: they sell wood at that Norwegian store?
- 16:43Speaker 3: No?
- 16:43Speaker 1: But I love that song. I love that song so
- 16:45Speaker 1: much too. I don't know that song Norwegian beles beetles.
- 16:50Speaker 2: Oh, the girl leaves and goes to work, and so
- 16:56Speaker 2: it's like bird shipped down and leaves. It's such a violence.
- 16:59Speaker 1: I know you're making it like a dirty joke, like
- 17:01Speaker 1: got yeah, I was so.
- 17:08Speaker 2: The longer I am away from having sex, the more
- 17:11Speaker 2: faces I make when you.
- 17:12Speaker 1: Say gross, are you going asexual? That's cool, it's just hard.
- 17:19Speaker 2: That what she said, melting.
- 17:24Speaker 4: Oh, Now I know what song it is, Yeah, please
- 17:27Speaker 4: don't play its copyrighted.
- 17:30Speaker 2: It's called Norwegian.
- 17:31Speaker 1: What how you knew what it was? She recognized?
- 17:36Speaker 3: I wreck. I didn't know the name of the song,
- 17:39Speaker 3: but I recognized the tune.
- 17:41Speaker 6: Oh, when I started singing it bad?
- 17:43Speaker 2: Like what flavor liquid death is that? I don't know that?
- 17:46Speaker 2: It's only the best flavor in the world.
- 17:48Speaker 1: I go cider, it's as I haven't seen that one.
- 17:52Speaker 2: It's hair apple, other natural fruit juices and cinnamon with
- 17:58Speaker 2: a hint of a gave.
- 17:59Speaker 1: And let's sound good.
- 18:00Speaker 2: It's still like it's twenty dollars, or it's twenty dollars.
- 18:04Speaker 1: It is not that good.
- 18:05Speaker 2: Twenty ounce can for twenty calories or like nineteen point two, yeah,
- 18:11Speaker 2: nineteen point two ounce can for twenty calories and it's
- 18:14Speaker 2: twelve ninety nine on Amazon for a eight eight.
- 18:18Speaker 1: Pounds fucking get one.
- 18:19Speaker 2: Okay, it's my favorite flavor and it's limited editions. So
- 18:23Speaker 2: when we took a break earlyer to just run to
- 18:25Speaker 2: the restroom, Kristin and I were like, I bought another case?
- 18:30Speaker 1: Is that your pressure of Christa?
- 18:33Speaker 2: Well that was my talking to Kristen when I said,
- 18:37Speaker 2: bought another.
- 18:37Speaker 5: Case, like.
- 18:41Speaker 6: Precious?
- 18:44Speaker 3: How much? How many come in a case?
- 18:47Speaker 2: Eight eight for twelve ninety.
- 18:49Speaker 1: Is it only online or have you seen him in
- 18:51Speaker 1: the store?
- 18:51Speaker 2: We get them in the stores, but Target and most
- 18:53Speaker 2: of the retailers that have like with Death are like
- 18:55Speaker 2: seventeen ninety nine.
- 18:57Speaker 1: So I find that if you order it on Amazon,
- 18:59Speaker 1: usually sit it.
- 19:00Speaker 3: I've never seen that one, And it's thirteen ninety nine
- 19:04Speaker 3: on Amazon right now and you can get it between
- 19:08Speaker 3: two and six pm today.
- 19:10Speaker 2: Oh, so it's gone up, so they must be running
- 19:12Speaker 2: out so that me and I'm gonna buy another case.
- 19:15Speaker 1: Squeezed to Death.
- 19:16Speaker 2: Oh, they have that Squeeze to death days like someone
- 19:20Speaker 2: dropped water in your orange juice. It's not bad, but
- 19:23Speaker 2: it's not what you would want if you're looking for
- 19:25Speaker 2: a heavy orange flavor.
- 19:26Speaker 7: Aarin has gotten me hooked on both of my favorite flavors,
- 19:30Speaker 7: which is the psycho cider and then the Convicted melon.
- 19:33Speaker 2: Convicted melon is a year round flavor though, so it doesn't.
- 19:37Speaker 1: Hurngo chilling saw better than melon.
- 19:40Speaker 2: I used to like the lime, but now that I
- 19:42Speaker 2: don't drink it home alone, except for this one magical
- 19:46Speaker 2: case of sam Adams I found on accident. I used
- 19:50Speaker 2: to get the lime because I'd put vodka in it,
- 19:52Speaker 2: and it was like a very not terrible white cloth
- 19:56Speaker 2: like it didn't have that soapy flavor the white claw has.
- 19:58Speaker 2: But now I'm more in the psychocider and melon. But
- 20:03Speaker 2: the mango chainsaws good. But I had that one for
- 20:06Speaker 2: like the first six months till I found another flavor
- 20:08Speaker 2: I like. So it's kind of like just not my
- 20:11Speaker 2: first choice because I had so much of it for
- 20:13Speaker 2: so long and purchased their iced teas tastes like ass though.
- 20:18Speaker 1: Do not buy Liquid Death iced tea.
- 20:21Speaker 4: Oh really, because I like it, because I just bought
- 20:23Speaker 4: a case with.
- 20:24Speaker 2: Liquid Death Iced tea tastes like someone took water and
- 20:29Speaker 2: put it into iced tea. It still has that water
- 20:33Speaker 2: down vibe. That's the only flavor they seem to know
- 20:35Speaker 2: how to make is a slightly diluted version of whatever
- 20:39Speaker 2: it is. And so even though it's supposed to be
- 20:41Speaker 2: one in those, it's still tastes like water.
- 20:47Speaker 1: I don't like it good enough.
- 20:49Speaker 4: It's my story, lad, Well, we need to pick a villain.
- 20:54Speaker 1: We made a mistake last time and didn't.
- 20:56Speaker 3: Yeah, well, first, let's tell us about tell us about
- 20:59Speaker 3: the episode.
- 21:00Speaker 4: Let me do. Episode ten is called The heart Attack.
- 21:07Speaker 4: Original air date November twenty third, nineteen eighty five, directed
- 21:11Speaker 4: by Jim Drake, written by Susan.
- 21:13Speaker 1: Harris and Winifred Hervey.
- 21:15Speaker 2: Sorry, I just read my first quiz question and I left.
- 21:19Speaker 1: Sure you can guess what it's about.
- 21:21Speaker 3: Is Stan having a heart attack?
- 21:24Speaker 6: Do we know who has the heart attack?
- 21:27Speaker 1: We don't? I mean I know, and Karen knows that's
- 21:29Speaker 1: a heart attack.
- 21:30Speaker 2: I definitely know.
- 21:32Speaker 3: Wait, I'm going to say the villain is going to
- 21:34Speaker 3: be Dorothy in this this.
- 21:36Speaker 1: I think it's Blanche. Oh, well, we need one villain, Karen,
- 21:40Speaker 1: you pick.
- 21:42Speaker 6: I agree, I think it'll be Dorothy.
- 21:44Speaker 1: There you go, Okay, all right.
- 21:48Speaker 2: The thing is I have to make the person you
- 21:52Speaker 2: choose the villain, and I made a bad face, so
- 21:54Speaker 2: I'm perhaps telling too much.
- 21:56Speaker 1: Okay, So Dorothy, Hey, that's sometimes it's hard for you.
- 22:01Speaker 2: I'm gonna earn my points today, all right, go.
- 22:07Speaker 1: I was fifteen when.
- 22:08Speaker 6: This episode first aired.
- 22:10Speaker 3: I was, but I was one.
- 22:14Speaker 6: I was one nineteen eighty five.
- 22:16Speaker 3: Eighty five, Coo coo, co cock Golding, I was seven.
- 22:20Speaker 2: Oh, I want say so picture it my crib nineteen
- 22:24Speaker 2: eighty four. Picture it, picture it San Diego nineteen eighty five.
- 22:32Speaker 1: All right, we'll be right back to talk about the episode.
- 22:39Speaker 1: These messages will be right right back.
- 22:49Speaker 3: Don't come back, welcome back, welcome back, welcome bar.
- 22:56Speaker 1: I don't think you guys.
- 22:57Speaker 2: Understand, mister, but it just works so well.
- 23:03Speaker 3: And that was a little share esque were.
- 23:11Speaker 8: Turn o jay, alrighty.
- 23:24Speaker 3: Welcome back everyone. That was a good episode.
- 23:27Speaker 1: It was definitely emotional.
- 23:29Speaker 8: Yes, it was.
- 23:30Speaker 2: Yes, all right, Can I get my before we play
- 23:34Speaker 2: the game and really talk about the episode. Can I
- 23:36Speaker 2: get my very thinly prepared villain statements out here?
- 23:43Speaker 8: Yes?
- 23:43Speaker 3: Please please.
- 23:45Speaker 2: The biggest thing I have going for me and Dorothy
- 23:47Speaker 2: as a villain here is essentially that the writers made
- 23:50Speaker 2: a mistake. But I'm gonna ride this to the finished line.
- 23:54Speaker 2: So when Dorothy is talking to Rose about how she
- 24:01Speaker 2: had to dress Charlie before the paramedics came, and she's
- 24:05Speaker 2: telling this traumatic story and Dorothy goes, I had no idea,
- 24:09Speaker 2: she in fact does know because in episode I think
- 24:13Speaker 2: like three, Rose the Prude, when Rose is afraid to
- 24:16Speaker 2: sleep with the new guy she's dating, who later will
- 24:19Speaker 2: be Charlie but is not, or well later will be
- 24:22Speaker 2: Miles but he's not yet Miles, in that she tells
- 24:25Speaker 2: the story of how she's rid of sex because she
- 24:28Speaker 2: killed her husband. So first of all, Dorothy's straight up
- 24:33Speaker 2: a selfish bitch who doesn't listen to people at all.
- 24:36Speaker 2: So that's ellen point one.
- 24:39Speaker 1: Thing two, she almost loses.
- 24:43Speaker 2: Her mom but still has time to be an absolute
- 24:47Speaker 2: bitch to Rose. And when Rose is like, wait what,
- 24:51Speaker 2: and she says, the problems in Guatemala that's pretty shitty.
- 24:56Speaker 2: I mean, our policy, our policy in Guatemala. These the
- 25:00Speaker 2: these women have just been there holding your hand the
- 25:03Speaker 2: whole way, while they might be watching your mom die
- 25:05Speaker 2: with you, and you're still shitting on them.
- 25:08Speaker 1: That's terrible.
- 25:10Speaker 2: My final point on dorothy two points is that they're
- 25:16Speaker 2: about to share the cake, the beautiful cake that the
- 25:20Speaker 2: mom that didn't die worked onne lovingly, and ultimately, if
- 25:23Speaker 2: they don't eat it in a few days, we'll be trash.
- 25:25Speaker 2: And they get their ice cream out, and then Dorothy
- 25:28Speaker 2: tells this story about how her friend was eating watercress
- 25:35Speaker 2: salads and stepped outside of this fancy French restaurant only
- 25:41Speaker 2: to be smashed and killed by a gargoyle that fell
- 25:44Speaker 2: off a building. And they're pretty sure as a result
- 25:48Speaker 2: that life is shortened, they should eat cake. And then
- 25:51Speaker 2: Dorothy convinces them, just kidding, We've taken all this shit
- 25:54Speaker 2: out of the fridge, but let's not eat the cake.
- 25:58Speaker 2: Let's go for a fucking walk in a small almost
- 26:02Speaker 2: hurricane storm.
- 26:04Speaker 1: She's a terrible person.
- 26:05Speaker 4: Well, you know that Aaron is bothered by the food
- 26:07Speaker 4: being left out.
- 26:08Speaker 1: Just it's rude.
- 26:10Speaker 3: You just waste ice being melted.
- 26:13Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't want have to clean up the ice
- 26:14Speaker 1: cream mess.
- 26:15Speaker 4: Yeah, and the odds are so feel just walk in
- 26:18Speaker 4: and eat some and she shouldn't.
- 26:20Speaker 2: I think the reason you don't understand my anger at
- 26:22Speaker 2: food being left out is that you didn't have three
- 26:25Speaker 2: back to back Stoner roommates before you ever started vibing
- 26:29Speaker 2: and weighed yourself because the things I would find left
- 26:33Speaker 2: out or not finished or surprise, what's in the microwave.
- 26:38Speaker 2: You can't make your egg sandwich to go to work.
- 26:40Speaker 2: There's there's a difference on the stove.
- 26:43Speaker 1: My husband does that all the time.
- 26:45Speaker 2: Oh hey, I left the stove on overnight.
- 26:48Speaker 3: It's the it's the lack of consideration in.
- 26:51Speaker 2: The kitchen of having stoner roommates that makes me full
- 26:55Speaker 2: of that's fairy.
- 26:56Speaker 3: Absolutely.
- 26:57Speaker 6: I think you could get ants, right, yeah, and that's
- 27:02Speaker 6: so hard to get rid of them.
- 27:04Speaker 2: I left a cough drop out and I'm still like
- 27:06Speaker 2: every I haven't had cough drops for like a week
- 27:10Speaker 2: or two now since we've been back from our trip,
- 27:13Speaker 2: and there's still like one or two, like scout ants
- 27:17Speaker 2: that show up. They're like bitchly Thelludins on the stand again.
- 27:22Speaker 2: I want it to do it, to do it.
- 27:25Speaker 1: No, all right, we're out here. I can't do ants, spiders,
- 27:29Speaker 1: I do snakes.
- 27:29Speaker 3: I cannot do ants. They just I'm telling you, if
- 27:33Speaker 3: you wash your walls with like an orange oil and clove,
- 27:40Speaker 3: they fucking hate it.
- 27:43Speaker 6: But then your walls are full of orange oil and cloth.
- 27:46Speaker 2: Right. Also, what kind of free time do you have
- 27:49Speaker 2: in your life? You absolutely have more free time than
- 27:52Speaker 2: I do. I don't have time to wash my walls.
- 27:54Speaker 2: I don't even have time to always wash my clothes
- 27:56Speaker 2: or my dishes all the time.
- 27:59Speaker 3: But it helps around, like I do it that usually
- 28:03Speaker 3: do it.
- 28:04Speaker 7: If there's then you do it before it starts to
- 28:07Speaker 7: rain when they start trying to get inside.
- 28:10Speaker 2: Yeah, oh, that's not a thing here. The ants are
- 28:13Speaker 2: not afraid of rain the way they are in California.
- 28:15Speaker 2: Here they don't get is like it's more like summer
- 28:19Speaker 2: where they're like, we need water.
- 28:22Speaker 1: It's so hot and dry. Where's the rain? That's the
- 28:26Speaker 1: ants of Portland. You're welcome. I give you a piece
- 28:29Speaker 1: of trivia for this episode.
- 28:31Speaker 4: Yes, yeah, NBC was going to do this episode live
- 28:36Speaker 4: after they had success with a live episode.
- 28:38Speaker 1: Of Give Me a Break, which I don't know what
- 28:41Speaker 1: that is.
- 28:42Speaker 2: No, the show give Me a Break.
- 28:44Speaker 6: You never saw Gimme a Break?
- 28:47Speaker 5: No, No, Carter was no Carter?
- 28:49Speaker 1: No was it good?
- 28:51Speaker 6: It's pretty funny. I mean there's no Golden Girls.
- 28:54Speaker 4: Okay, it's an eighties show, so well, I'm glad you
- 28:57Speaker 4: at least know what it is. Because I did not,
- 29:00Speaker 4: but then they changed their mind. It's possible that they
- 29:03Speaker 4: changed their mind. This episode aired November twenty third. On
- 29:06Speaker 4: November fifteenth, Betty White's mother died. Oh goodness, just after
- 29:12Speaker 4: be Arthur's mother last episode. Ough oh so, but can
- 29:17Speaker 4: you imagine this episode live?
- 29:20Speaker 1: That'd be hard.
- 29:21Speaker 2: It's not exactly. The whole point of eighties sitcoms being
- 29:25Speaker 2: live was the live laugh track, to see that there
- 29:29Speaker 2: were real people laughing. It's not the funniest I mean,
- 29:32Speaker 2: there's there's some bits, but fuck.
- 29:36Speaker 1: But the general theme is serious.
- 29:38Speaker 4: They mostly were in the living room, so it would
- 29:40Speaker 4: have been easier. Yeah, a little bit of the cat
- 29:43Speaker 4: that's what.
- 29:44Speaker 6: We're watching the show. It was not lost on me
- 29:47Speaker 6: that all of these ladies are now also yeah gone, yeah,
- 29:52Speaker 6: and so hearing them talked about all the things they
- 29:53Speaker 6: want to do.
- 29:54Speaker 1: But yeah, it was eat the cake, Karen, eat the
- 29:56Speaker 1: chocolate cake.
- 29:57Speaker 6: I'm gonna eat that fucking cake.
- 30:01Speaker 2: One of my ex best friends from my youth got
- 30:04Speaker 2: to meet b Arthur after a cabaret performance once and
- 30:07Speaker 2: it was like, I wasn't able to make it like
- 30:10Speaker 2: a group of my friends, and I am so jealous
- 30:14Speaker 2: of that because it was like a small gay club
- 30:18Speaker 2: in LA that had like an intimate little like She
- 30:21Speaker 2: sang random songs she liked from shows she had done,
- 30:25Speaker 2: and she was I mean, this was only a couple
- 30:27Speaker 2: of years before she died, so I'm sure it was fascinating.
- 30:31Speaker 1: But yeah, anyway, she just had a clean look at her.
- 30:49Speaker 2: Look Okay, I was like.
- 30:52Speaker 1: That right now.
- 30:53Speaker 3: I'm trying to have a nice nap mom. You know,
- 30:58Speaker 3: maybe if it took me to the groom or I
- 31:00Speaker 3: might be help. I don't know why Abby sounds like
- 31:02Speaker 3: that in my world.
- 31:04Speaker 2: Pick up a smoking habit. Well, I come say hi,
- 31:08Speaker 2: are friends?
- 31:09Speaker 5: Yep?
- 31:10Speaker 2: Hey, Abby, tomorrow's my birthday.
- 31:15Speaker 1: Happy birthday.
- 31:16Speaker 8: Abby.
- 31:18Speaker 2: Look there's a new friend no Canada. You see Hannah,
- 31:24Speaker 2: don't She's.
- 31:24Speaker 1: Like where where? It's like noodle?
- 31:27Speaker 3: Yeah she is. She's I'm gonna come back and say
- 31:30Speaker 3: how do you in a minute, but I gotta be
- 31:31Speaker 3: a noodle.
- 31:32Speaker 1: I gotta wiggle you.
- 31:36Speaker 2: Would you like to help with the quiz or you
- 31:38Speaker 2: want to go back to your nap?
- 31:41Speaker 3: Quiz quiz quiz.
- 31:42Speaker 2: Let's do the quiz with the quiz all right. In
- 31:46Speaker 2: a delightful bit of fat shaming, what does Blanche say,
- 31:51Speaker 2: almost put her eye out, Gina.
- 31:55Speaker 1: Yes, the guest lady spit Rice and went in her eye.
- 32:00Speaker 2: Yeah, Emma Jane, Emma Jane. Accident spit Rice and Blanches on.
- 32:06Speaker 2: Good job, Gina. First point to you.
- 32:10Speaker 1: Don't suck, you do not Abby.
- 32:14Speaker 2: I think you would like this next one, what is
- 32:17Speaker 2: the Lindstrom surprise?
- 32:19Speaker 1: And what's the surprise? Kristen, Yes, it's Harring Pie and
- 32:25Speaker 1: the surprises the Harring.
- 32:28Speaker 2: Right, because you think it's pie, but.
- 32:29Speaker 3: You think it's going to be apples.
- 32:32Speaker 1: Why would you want that?
- 32:34Speaker 2: You think it's pie, but it's fair.
- 32:38Speaker 1: Hair. I wouldn't mind trying Harring pie, but I want
- 32:41Speaker 1: to know what it is.
- 32:44Speaker 2: That's the thing. Dorothy's reaction. Dorothy's reaction to that moment
- 32:49Speaker 2: in the in the scene is honestly, you guys may
- 32:53Speaker 2: not have even noticed it. It was so subtle, but
- 32:56Speaker 2: she went, oh, how fun and like it was such
- 33:03Speaker 2: a small moment. But I was like, that's so Dorothy. Okay,
- 33:08Speaker 2: all right. What is the name of Rose's cat? Oh, Kristen, Yes, Lindstrom.
- 33:18Speaker 2: Lindstrom because it was less confusing. Yeah, all right.
- 33:27Speaker 8: Question four.
- 33:28Speaker 2: This one's a a lot of words in it.
- 33:31Speaker 1: Sorry.
- 33:31Speaker 2: Sophia is famous for using famous people in her stories
- 33:35Speaker 2: and her Quippi comebacks, which too does she mention while
- 33:39Speaker 2: Dorothy is diagnosing her heart attack.
- 33:44Speaker 6: I remember one, okay, half a point, Yeahvaratti?
- 33:52Speaker 2: Yeah, oh right, yeah, m hmmm. Anyone else, I'll give
- 33:58Speaker 2: a point.
- 33:58Speaker 8: I remember, I don't remember, she said, aunt Ranata.
- 34:03Speaker 2: She starts off by saying one of my princess, expecting princess,
- 34:11Speaker 2: and then that the last I'm short and old.
- 34:15Speaker 6: Was sitting on her chest.
- 34:17Speaker 1: Yeah, yes, all right, so we're going to give it.
- 34:19Speaker 3: And I wrote that down.
- 34:22Speaker 1: What kind of pain is Sophia having?
- 34:24Speaker 3: Glory?
- 34:30Speaker 2: Well, but I almost I almost want to give a
- 34:36Speaker 2: pity point to Jodie because her brain misfired and she
- 34:40Speaker 2: might have answered first, but I don't.
- 34:41Speaker 3: Know, because Gina was first. But you might get a
- 34:46Speaker 3: pity point for your No. I did not follow instructions,
- 34:50Speaker 3: so I not get that point.
- 34:55Speaker 1: She said, the kind that hurts, Yes, yeah, that kind
- 34:59Speaker 1: of hurts.
- 35:02Speaker 3: Okay, Hey, it's the kind that hurts, Thank you, Jody.
- 35:06Speaker 2: Why does Rose say she doesn't want to be cremated.
- 35:10Speaker 1: Kristen, Yes, she doesn't like heat.
- 35:14Speaker 3: Yep, she doesn't like heat.
- 35:17Speaker 2: Yeah, because I don't like heat.
- 35:19Speaker 4: Good thing you live in Miami crows she wants, but
- 35:22Speaker 4: she wants a blanky right, Well that's the comfortable coffin.
- 35:29Speaker 2: Why does Blanche say she wants to be buried in Arlington,
- 35:34Speaker 2: Jody Saron.
- 35:37Speaker 6: Because there are lots of men there.
- 35:39Speaker 8: Yeah, yep, full of men.
- 35:41Speaker 2: Good job, but they'll all be dead. Why did Charlie
- 35:49Speaker 2: and Rose have a fight and his fatal Can I
- 35:53Speaker 2: finish the question? Fatal heart attack? I don't know who
- 35:58Speaker 2: was first.
- 35:59Speaker 1: I think it was Jody.
- 36:01Speaker 2: I only got mad because I I don't know who's first.
- 36:04Speaker 2: If I'm still talking, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, that's fair.
- 36:09Speaker 2: I don't know who was first, Karen, No, Jody?
- 36:14Speaker 3: Okay, Well it's because she was trying to put on
- 36:17Speaker 3: white pants on him, and you don't wear white after
- 36:20Speaker 3: Labor Day.
- 36:22Speaker 4: Usually we've picked out the correct person when I've checked
- 36:26Speaker 4: the game tape, so correct.
- 36:29Speaker 2: No, Look, I just if I if I'm still talking,
- 36:32Speaker 2: I'm not listening to you.
- 36:33Speaker 1: Yeah, sorry, I apologize. It's my fact, like we're missing
- 36:38Speaker 1: out on a cash price. Yeah, I mean.
- 36:42Speaker 4: Gets excited, I do, I get excited.
- 36:46Speaker 1: Well, don't worry, because I'm the baby.
- 36:47Speaker 3: I'm the baby in my family, so there.
- 36:51Speaker 1: I like how you're excited to me. I'm okay with it.
- 36:55Speaker 2: I'm okay, okay, Abby's having a little something.
- 37:00Speaker 1: Okay.
- 37:01Speaker 2: Where did Dorothy find her mother's rosary?
- 37:04Speaker 6: Karen? Yes, Karen in the peanut brittle.
- 37:08Speaker 8: Yes.
- 37:09Speaker 1: I knew that was gonna be a question.
- 37:10Speaker 4: When Jody asked me where it was, I was like,
- 37:12Speaker 4: I bet I just gave her an.
- 37:13Speaker 3: Answer because I was because.
- 37:19Speaker 6: Did I say it too soon? I'm sorry?
- 37:20Speaker 4: I think you.
- 37:22Speaker 3: Are perfect.
- 37:24Speaker 2: If I have like a word left, it's fine, I'm
- 37:26Speaker 2: kind of already listening. But if I had like half
- 37:28Speaker 2: a sentence, then I'm like still staring at my screen.
- 37:31Speaker 2: It's my ability to do two things at once. I'm
- 37:34Speaker 2: essentially a man sometimes. What do the girls end the
- 37:39Speaker 2: episode with instead of cheesecake?
- 37:42Speaker 1: Kristen, yes, chocolate cake?
- 37:45Speaker 3: No, Jody, yes, I'll walk in a hurricane.
- 37:51Speaker 4: Oh, I thought you meant the food.
- 37:54Speaker 1: Okay, what do you mean that was the cake?
- 37:57Speaker 2: That's okay, because there's a bonus question.
- 37:59Speaker 1: That's okay, you'll need.
- 38:01Speaker 3: A bonus or wait, I can't say. I can't say
- 38:04Speaker 3: that out loud because, as reminded, every single time in
- 38:11Speaker 3: Las Vegas, which was probably about a million times. No,
- 38:14Speaker 3: I'm not allowed to yell at the machine. No, okay,
- 38:17Speaker 3: they get scared.
- 38:18Speaker 8: No, let's.
- 38:22Speaker 2: Looks at me with.
- 38:25Speaker 3: Just disgust.
- 38:27Speaker 4: It was.
- 38:27Speaker 2: It was not okay, okay, okay, we're gonna pause the
- 38:31Speaker 2: quiz the bonus question to follow. It was not about
- 38:35Speaker 2: you shouting at me or shouting at the game and
- 38:38Speaker 2: jinxing me so much as that it would be like
- 38:41Speaker 2: the games, like Okay, I'm gonna do a thing. I'm
- 38:43Speaker 2: gonna do a thing, and then out of nowhere right
- 38:45Speaker 2: before I didn't get the bonus, she would scream in
- 38:49Speaker 2: my ear essentially and frighten me. It was more annoyance
- 38:55Speaker 2: than you were. Yah.
- 38:57Speaker 3: Hated right, that's great, and I love you.
- 39:01Speaker 1: Way was loud, it was very loud. Blew out your ears.
- 39:05Speaker 3: Yeah, I wanted to make sure you could hear me.
- 39:07Speaker 3: Since Vegas is so loud. I apologize. I will be
- 39:11Speaker 3: sure to turn down my volume next time.
- 39:14Speaker 1: See she gets excited.
- 39:17Speaker 4: Let's have that bonus.
- 39:20Speaker 3: The bonus.
- 39:22Speaker 1: Are you scratching your head with a.
- 39:25Speaker 8: Straw?
- 39:26Speaker 3: A straw? Yeah, I didn't. I had a coffee, but
- 39:30Speaker 3: I got a straw with my breakfast soul.
- 39:33Speaker 2: It's okay. I thought it was a lone.
- 39:35Speaker 1: Chopstick, and I thought this was like a yeah, because
- 39:36Speaker 1: what keeps blurring it?
- 39:38Speaker 3: Yeah, oh yeah, because of my background.
- 39:42Speaker 1: It's like a really weird magic trick. Abby.
- 39:44Speaker 2: This is for your birthday.
- 39:45Speaker 1: It kind of looks like there's a person behind you. Yeah,
- 39:48Speaker 1: black blob. I think Michael Myers.
- 39:52Speaker 2: Is there that your husband just standing there behind you?
- 39:55Speaker 4: No, I saw him come in earlier. I think you
- 39:58Speaker 4: read I was following the little.
- 40:00Speaker 3: It's a coat wrack.
- 40:02Speaker 2: Oh is that his sweater that he wears all the time,
- 40:05Speaker 2: that cozy one?
- 40:06Speaker 3: No, it's not. Actually that is my my raincoat because
- 40:11Speaker 3: it rained here last weekend.
- 40:13Speaker 2: Okay, quiz, what does Dorothy say happen to her friend
- 40:20Speaker 2: that ate only watercress in Paris time?
- 40:24Speaker 1: Yes, the gargoyle fell and crusher.
- 40:27Speaker 3: Yeah you just but you told.
- 40:31Speaker 2: Technically the last three things were things we discussed out
- 40:35Speaker 2: loud moments before the quiz.
- 40:37Speaker 1: Okay, yeah, that's true, that is true.
- 40:40Speaker 2: Well, Karen and Kristen are tied.
- 40:43Speaker 3: We need a breaker. We need a tie breaker.
- 40:46Speaker 2: Okay, all right, and got it. So there is an
- 40:50Speaker 2: one more time.
- 40:51Speaker 1: Okay, that Dorothy is a villain.
- 40:56Speaker 2: And it is going to be.
- 40:58Speaker 3: The question is.
- 41:01Speaker 2: How much does Blanche say, Emma Jane ways.
- 41:06Speaker 6: Oh, Karen, yes, two seventy five. Yep, damn you nailed
- 41:11Speaker 6: It is a number numbers stick in my head.
- 41:16Speaker 2: It's kind of it's kind of thing in my head.
- 41:21Speaker 2: Then it's stuck in my head. It's not written down
- 41:25Speaker 2: anywhere here. I was so sad.
- 41:28Speaker 4: I was like, the episode a nice fat shaming.
- 41:31Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 41:33Speaker 2: There.
- 41:33Speaker 6: You know, there are definitely some things that don't hold
- 41:36Speaker 6: hold up well over time, some of.
- 41:37Speaker 3: The jacks, especially things from the eighties, Abby's teeth.
- 41:42Speaker 2: I mean, there's a lot of things, huh right, Yeah, but.
- 41:46Speaker 7: There's a lot of stuff that does hold up pretty
- 41:48Speaker 7: well considering this was in the mid eighties.
- 41:51Speaker 8: Yes, So.
- 41:54Speaker 4: The rest of this episode was after a big dinner party,
- 41:59Speaker 4: Sophia felt ill. Everyone was afraid she had a heart attack.
- 42:03Speaker 3: She had the adgita and was.
- 42:07Speaker 4: Just and they struggled to get medical help to her
- 42:12Speaker 4: because of a big storm.
- 42:15Speaker 2: I don't want to shit on the writers a second
- 42:17Speaker 2: time for this episode, but I will say, as most
- 42:21Speaker 2: of us here have had a gallbladder attack or have
- 42:23Speaker 2: had their gallbladder removed. You're not suddenly better just because
- 42:27Speaker 2: the doctor says it's not a heart attack. The way
- 42:31Speaker 2: that Sofia was like, all right, I'm good now, I
- 42:34Speaker 2: was like, no, actually not, because they like immediately admitted
- 42:38Speaker 2: me to the hospital, because they were like, fuck, you're
- 42:40Speaker 2: in pain. Like it's not like a okay bye, you'll
- 42:44Speaker 2: be better.
- 42:45Speaker 1: Well, in the amount of the food she ate, they
- 42:47Speaker 1: just kept listing it like, oh I saw read this,
- 42:51Speaker 1: I saw boxes of milk duds.
- 42:53Speaker 6: But then she said she didn't eat dinner.
- 42:57Speaker 1: Jilli, mushroom, sausage, peppers.
- 43:01Speaker 2: In the episode nine, she had that whole charcuderie board.
- 43:05Speaker 2: She was taking to her room with that whole ball
- 43:08Speaker 2: of popcorn which come on hide or she was gonna
- 43:11Speaker 2: eat that ship. Because now having seen this episode, I
- 43:14Speaker 2: was like, she's gonna go fucking shameyat in the other room,
- 43:17Speaker 2: is what she's gonna do. I'm gonna send Sofia readers anonymous.
- 43:21Speaker 2: Except that she doesn't actually seem to have a weight problem,
- 43:24Speaker 2: so it seems right wrong.
- 43:26Speaker 6: She is always eating like a lot of food.
- 43:29Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, yes, I had to have my gall bladder out.
- 43:33Speaker 1: The pain was phenomenally bad. Ye who else has had
- 43:39Speaker 1: me me?
- 43:42Speaker 3: I'm ow, oh wow, my balls are intact.
- 43:46Speaker 1: You have that to look forward to.
- 43:48Speaker 2: Congrats if that happens to you. Also, I hope it
- 43:52Speaker 2: never happens to you.
- 43:53Speaker 3: Yeah, I hope it never happens to me.
- 43:55Speaker 2: I legitimately tried to drive myself to urgent care and
- 43:59Speaker 2: made it like a couple of blocks to my friend
- 44:02Speaker 2: Purdle's house, and then I literally just like ran my
- 44:05Speaker 2: hand down the buzzer trying to get a hold of
- 44:08Speaker 2: her because I couldn't punch the coat in. And then
- 44:10Speaker 2: I eventually called her clphone and I was like, I'm
- 44:12Speaker 2: out front getting the car and just kind of got
- 44:17Speaker 2: out and hobbled around and lay in the passenger seat.
- 44:20Speaker 2: If I can find the picture of me that I
- 44:21Speaker 2: called my sham my shamoo, was me hooked up to EKG.
- 44:25Speaker 2: It's just like laying in a somewhat reclined thing on
- 44:29Speaker 2: a hospital bed because I just I did. I gave
- 44:32Speaker 2: zero shits and I was like, yep, you can take
- 44:34Speaker 2: these pictures and man post them. It's fine with I
- 44:36Speaker 2: don't care. I'm dying, It's fine.
- 44:40Speaker 1: Wow, don't have one.
- 44:43Speaker 4: So we've all we've all been there where Sophia has.
- 44:46Speaker 2: Except for plus, it increases your risk of shitting your pants,
- 44:49Speaker 2: and that's real too.
- 44:51Speaker 1: Mm hmm.
- 44:52Speaker 2: I don't want that at all.
- 44:55Speaker 1: You after you have it out, yeah, like you were live.
- 45:00Speaker 4: Her dumped bile to help you digest, and the gallbladder
- 45:03Speaker 4: is supposed to dole it out, but if it's not
- 45:05Speaker 4: there to catch it, it just here's a bunch of bile.
- 45:09Speaker 2: If you don't listen to your doctor and you eat
- 45:11Speaker 2: something like super fried, like right when your body is
- 45:13Speaker 2: still adjusting in the beginning, you literally will just like
- 45:16Speaker 2: not be able to control it and you'll be running out.
- 45:18Speaker 2: You'll put Keepsie in your pants. Yeah, thanks for putting
- 45:23Speaker 2: your dry tongue on my mouth. Aby.
- 45:25Speaker 4: Other than that, it was very emotional episode about death
- 45:29Speaker 4: and losing people and what else do you want to
- 45:33Speaker 4: do if you had more time?
- 45:34Speaker 6: And there's another I think point to Dorothy being the
- 45:38Speaker 6: villain in this episode, and it will the very beginning,
- 45:41Speaker 6: after Sophia started feeling like she was having her attack,
- 45:45Speaker 6: Dorothy was very dismissive of.
- 45:46Speaker 1: Her more medical gaslighting.
- 45:52Speaker 2: Yeah, that's okay, Dorothy'll get that.
- 45:55Speaker 1: Dorothy'll get that. Given back to her.
- 45:59Speaker 2: Story about We'll get her will were shadowing. Yeah, anyway,
- 46:05Speaker 2: well thanks for stopping buy again, Karen. We absolutely having
- 46:08Speaker 2: me over.
- 46:09Speaker 1: It's been so nice.
- 46:10Speaker 2: You're welcome back any time, truly, anytime.

- 46:16Speaker 5: Than you.

- 46:26Speaker 3: Thanks cheesecake.
- 46:28Speaker 2: Abby's like, did you say cheese?
- 46:32Speaker 1: I love cheese che text.
