- 1:50Speaker 1: there tomorrow. They are covering the Laura Laura Owens Shenanigans
- 1:57Speaker 1: and let me just tell you, it is the most
- 2:02Speaker 1: bonkers shit I have ever heard. I mean, seriously, people,
- 2:06Speaker 1: it is bonkers. If you like bonkers, you need to
- 2:10Speaker 1: go over there. They are reading the actual court documents,
- 2:14Speaker 1: text messages, blogs. It's crazy. So you definitely want to
- 2:21Speaker 1: go check that out because it is amazing. And I
- 2:26Speaker 1: know Buffy will not be on. I don't remember if
- 2:29Speaker 1: it's starting next week or what, and I will be
- 2:32Speaker 1: popping in over there to help and become part of
- 2:37Speaker 1: the Shenanigans over there. Okay, Now, today we're headed to Wyoming,
- 2:44Speaker 1: which is a state highly on my bucket list that
- 2:47Speaker 1: I have never been to, and I want to go
- 2:50Speaker 1: there now. Wyoming maybe known for its breathtaking mountains, sprawling ranches,
- 2:58Speaker 1: Yellowstone National Park, and being the least populated state in
- 3:02Speaker 1: the country, but guys, its wide open landscape also can
- 3:07Speaker 1: make missing person investigations incredibly difficult. And they have harsh winters,
- 3:14Speaker 1: rugged terrain, remote back roads, and vast stretches of wilderness.
- 3:21Speaker 1: And also they have a lot of wild animals and
- 3:23Speaker 1: this often creates major challenges for search search teams and investigators.
- 3:30Speaker 1: Interesting fact, Wyoming was the first state to grant women
- 3:34Speaker 1: the right to vote in eighteen sixty nine, earning it
- 3:38Speaker 1: the nickname the equality State. Good job Whiteoming. I did
- 3:44Speaker 1: not know that until I researched this. So I like
- 3:49Speaker 1: that as a person who identifies as a woman. That
- 3:52Speaker 1: makes me very happy. Now. Wyoming remains one of the
- 3:56Speaker 1: most rural states in America. According to Wyoming Division of
- 4:01Speaker 1: Criminal Investigation data, there were approximately eighty six active missing
- 4:07Speaker 1: person cases in the state. Some dating back decades. Okay. Now,
- 4:14Speaker 1: reports show that Wyoming consistently ranks among the higher states
- 4:18Speaker 1: per capita for missing person cases, with roughly nine missing
- 4:23Speaker 1: purses per one hundred thousand residents. That's a lot, guys,
- 4:28Speaker 1: when you think about it like that. Now, while many
- 4:32Speaker 1: cases are resolved quickly, others remain haunting mysteries that families
- 4:38Speaker 1: continue searching for answers years later. Okay, our first case
- 4:47Speaker 1: today is Kimberly k Novak Allen. She was born on
- 4:51Speaker 1: May twenty fifth, nineteen fifty eight in Montana into a
- 4:55Speaker 1: middle class working family and was one of three sisters
- 5:00Speaker 1: out Growing up, Kimberly was involved in rodeo and was
- 5:03Speaker 1: described by her family as a free spirit and a follower,
- 5:08Speaker 1: someone who often found herself caught up in trouble and
- 5:12Speaker 1: surrounded by the wrong people. I have to say, guys,
- 5:17Speaker 1: I've never heard a family or friends come out and
- 5:21Speaker 1: say that someone's a follower. I find that interesting and unique.
- 5:25Speaker 1: There are a lot of people that are followers. Not
- 5:26Speaker 1: everybody's meant to be leaders. Just haven't heard that description. Now.
- 5:33Speaker 1: For a time, things seemed to settle down after kim
- 5:36Speaker 1: married Tom Allen. The couple had two daughters together, and
- 5:41Speaker 1: Kimberly worked as a floral arranger, something she genuinely enjoyed,
- 5:47Speaker 1: but after the marriage ended in divorce, her family says
- 5:51Speaker 1: Kimberly slowly drifted back into a transient lifestyle marked by
- 5:56Speaker 1: struggles with alcohol and drug abuse. Eventually, her daughters went
- 6:01Speaker 1: to live with Kimberly's mother, while Kimberly continued moving from
- 6:05Speaker 1: place to place, sometimes disappearing for periods of time before
- 6:10Speaker 1: reconnecting with family. Now, because of long absences and the
- 6:16Speaker 1: instability in her life, there are many unanswered questions and
- 6:21Speaker 1: conflicting details surrounding Kimberly's disappearance. In the mid to late
- 6:27Speaker 1: nineteen eighties, Kimberly moved to Wyoming with a boyfriend who
- 6:31Speaker 1: had accepted a job there. Her family says the last
- 6:35Speaker 1: time they spoke with her was in nineteen eighty nine,
- 6:39Speaker 1: and during that conversation, Kimberly reportedly talked about cleaning up
- 6:44Speaker 1: her life and wanting to regain custodis of her daughters now.
- 6:50Speaker 1: According to the official reports, Kimberly was last seen in
- 6:54Speaker 1: Sublet Counting, Wyoming on July third, nineteen ninety, when she
- 6:59Speaker 1: had led to left to handle a child custody matter
- 7:03Speaker 1: in Jefferson County, Montana. Other reports date Kimberly, who also
- 7:09Speaker 1: used the surnames Alan Harris, INNGA gr GA gr E
- 7:15Speaker 1: not sure and was saying she was lasting in Granger, Yoming,
- 7:20Speaker 1: on April seventeenth, nineteen ninety two, and was reported missing
- 7:25Speaker 1: approximately three months later by a female friend. Guys, when
- 7:32Speaker 1: someone is going through these kind of struggles in life,
- 7:35Speaker 1: it's hard for people to know to report them missing immediately,
- 7:42Speaker 1: and that does make it a little bit more challenge.
- 7:47Speaker 1: To this day, the exact timeline of Kimberly's disappearance remains unclear.
- 7:53Speaker 1: Some reports suggest she may have been traveling back to
- 7:56Speaker 1: Montana for a custody hearing. Guys, that has never been
- 8:01Speaker 1: fully substantiated, Okay. Questions also remain about the boyfriend she
- 8:06Speaker 1: moved to Wyoming with in what and if anything, he
- 8:11Speaker 1: may have known about Kimberly's final days. Guys, I went
- 8:16Speaker 1: down a rabbit hole trying to find about the boyfriend
- 8:18Speaker 1: and anything I couldn't. So, if there's anyone who's hearing
- 8:23Speaker 1: this or watching this and you know more, I would
- 8:27Speaker 1: really like to have more information so that we can
- 8:30Speaker 1: share a full picture now. Kimberly's family says, despite her struggles,
- 8:36Speaker 1: it was completely unlike her to vanish forever. Even when
- 8:41Speaker 1: she disappeared for those periods of times, she always kind
- 8:44Speaker 1: of resurfaced, and they do believe if Kimberly were alive,
- 8:49Speaker 1: she would have reached out to someone by now. Kimberly
- 8:53Speaker 1: k Novak, who is also known as kim and Kimberly Allen,
- 8:58Speaker 1: was thirty three years old at the time of her disappearance.
- 9:01Speaker 1: She would be sixty seven years old today. Guys, she
- 9:05Speaker 1: was talking about getting custody of her daughters. She wouldn't
- 9:10Speaker 1: just leave out of their lives, okay. She is described
- 9:13Speaker 1: as a white female with brown hair and green eyes,
- 9:17Speaker 1: standing approximately five feet four inches tall. At the time
- 9:21Speaker 1: of her disappearance, she weighed around one hundred and thirty pounds.
- 9:25Speaker 1: She had a mole on the right side of her nose,
- 9:28Speaker 1: a surgical star on her aptmen, and a tattoo on
- 9:31Speaker 1: her left shoulder blade of a pegasus with the words
- 9:35Speaker 1: rolling thunder written a written underneath, along with pine trees.
- 9:41Speaker 1: Anyone with information about Kimberly's disappearance is urged to contact
- 9:46Speaker 1: the Sweetwater County Sheriff's Office at three oh seven ninety
- 9:51Speaker 1: two two five three. Guys, it's been three decades. Her
- 9:58Speaker 1: family is still waiting for answers of out what happened
- 10:00Speaker 1: to her. I am sure her daughters would love to
- 10:04Speaker 1: know what happened to their mom. So if you will
- 10:09Speaker 1: please go to our Midday Missing Facebook page after this
- 10:14Speaker 1: show and share the missing person posters, it really helps
- 10:19Speaker 1: a lot. Okay, Now, if you know of someone, or
- 10:25Speaker 1: if you have a loved one missing and are interested
- 10:28Speaker 1: in having us cover their story, or if you're interested
- 10:31Speaker 1: in coming up on an episode enjoined us for a
- 10:36Speaker 1: live interview, you can contact us by emailing me directly
- 10:40Speaker 1: at Terry at TCWT dot Tcwtmedia dot com, or you
- 10:47Speaker 1: can contact us through all of our social media accounts. Sorry, guys,
- 10:56Speaker 1: we had a big rainstorm come through last night and
- 10:59Speaker 1: brought all of that allergiins in with that cold front,
- 11:02Speaker 1: so having to take lots of decongestins and antihistamines. Now
- 11:10Speaker 1: our next case is OOP. Sorry, guys. A little crazy
- 11:14Speaker 1: with the clicker John Jacob Barnhill and guys, I love
- 11:19Speaker 1: the name John Jacob. I don't know why, but I
- 11:22Speaker 1: love it and it's making me think of a song,
- 11:24Speaker 1: but I can't think of what the song is. I've
- 11:26Speaker 1: been trying to figure it out for several weeks. If
- 11:28Speaker 1: anybody knows what song you think of when you hear
- 11:31Speaker 1: John Jacob, please tell me, because I need to get
- 11:34Speaker 1: it off my brain. But John Jacob also went by
- 11:39Speaker 1: the nickname Jay, and he disappeared from Mills, Yoming in
- 11:43Speaker 1: September tenth, twenty nineteen, under circumstances that remained deeply concerning
- 11:50Speaker 1: and unexplained. John was sixty two years old at the
- 11:55Speaker 1: time of his disappearance. Friends and family describe him as
- 11:59Speaker 1: someone who kept to a routine, making his sudden disappearance
- 12:04Speaker 1: even more alarming now. According to reports, on September tenth,
- 12:09Speaker 1: twenty nineteen, John told us living girlfriend he was heading
- 12:12Speaker 1: out to run Errand's. After leaving the house, he sent
- 12:18Speaker 1: several text messages, but after that all communications suddenly stopped.
- 12:24Speaker 1: John Jacob, Jingleheimer Schmidt, Thank you, Sean Leslie, thank you, Okay,
- 12:34Speaker 1: thank you Lama. That has been in my head and
- 12:38Speaker 1: it was like hanging right there and I just couldn't
- 12:41Speaker 1: go and get my brain to grab it. Thank you
- 12:44Speaker 1: guys much. Appreciated now. When John failed to return home,
- 12:50Speaker 1: his girlfriend reported him missing, okay, and just two days later,
- 12:54Speaker 1: on September fourteenth, John's truck was discovered near shep Herder
- 13:00Speaker 1: Hill and Casper Mountain in Natrona County, Wyoming. Investigators said
- 13:07Speaker 1: the vehicle had been driven through brush and parked well
- 13:11Speaker 1: off the roadway in the sparsely populated area surrounded by
- 13:16Speaker 1: private property and Bureau of Land Management land guys. There
- 13:21Speaker 1: was no sign of John anywhere near the truck. They
- 13:26Speaker 1: also said they didn't find any signs of a struggle
- 13:30Speaker 1: or anything. Now. Authorities, including canine teams, searched the area extensively,
- 13:39Speaker 1: focusing on roughly a six mile radius surrounding where the
- 13:43Speaker 1: vehicle was found. No trace of him was located. More
- 13:49Speaker 1: than six years later, John Jacob Barnhill remains missing and
- 13:53Speaker 1: his case is still unsolved. Investigators have never publicly explained
- 14:00Speaker 1: why John's truck ended up in such remote area or
- 14:04Speaker 1: what may have happened after he left home that day guys,
- 14:07Speaker 1: which is not uncommon law enforcement likes to keep things
- 14:12Speaker 1: close to their vest Okay. Questions still remain about the
- 14:17Speaker 1: text messages he sent after leaving and whether someone may
- 14:22Speaker 1: know more about his disappearance than they've shared. I could
- 14:25Speaker 1: not find any information about who he sent text messages to.
- 14:30Speaker 1: So if somebody knows, and if they think it has
- 14:32Speaker 1: anything to do with this disappearance, let me know. Oh,
- 14:37Speaker 1: Lama says, my brother and I would sing it NonStop
- 14:42Speaker 1: in the car to annoy the adults. I could see
- 14:46Speaker 1: you and I call him train brother doing that, and
- 14:51Speaker 1: that is hilarious. Now, John was last seen wearing It
- 14:56Speaker 1: was either a long sleeve or sleeveless bone Daddy t
- 14:59Speaker 1: sh shirt because he was known for cutting the sleeves
- 15:03Speaker 1: off and maybe he did it, they don't know. Now.
- 15:06Speaker 1: He had on blue jeans, white sneakers, and a silver
- 15:09Speaker 1: watch on his left wrist. He is described as a
- 15:12Speaker 1: white male with gray black hair, brown eyes. He was
- 15:16Speaker 1: five ft eleven, so he's got some behind on him, okay,
- 15:20Speaker 1: and he weighed about one hundred and eighty five pounds. Now.
- 15:24Speaker 1: At the time of his disappearance, John wore his long
- 15:27Speaker 1: hair and a ponytail down his back with multiple hair
- 15:30Speaker 1: bands spaced throughout it. I mean, look at the center
- 15:33Speaker 1: picture of him. He has some long, luscious locks. He
- 15:38Speaker 1: has some locks, Okay, he also had a gray mustache
- 15:42Speaker 1: and possibly a gray beard. Now he normally wore eyeglasses.
- 15:47Speaker 1: They were left behind, which makes me wonder did he
- 15:50Speaker 1: need them to drive, because if so, why did he
- 15:54Speaker 1: leave them behind and drive his vehicle without his glasses.
- 15:58Speaker 1: I'm hoping he didn't need them to Okay. Now, John
- 16:02Speaker 1: also has a white scar on the right side of
- 16:04Speaker 1: his torso near his ribcage, and he has a large
- 16:08Speaker 1: mole near his right shoulder blade. Everyone is asking if
- 16:13Speaker 1: you have any information about the disappearance, his whereabouts or
- 16:19Speaker 1: how has truck got to where it was Your urge
- 16:22Speaker 1: to contact the Natrona County Sheriff's Office at three oh
- 16:26Speaker 1: seven two three five ninety two eight two, or you
- 16:31Speaker 1: can call the Mills Police Department at three oh seven
- 16:35Speaker 1: two sixty six four seven ninety six. Guys, someone somewhere
- 16:41Speaker 1: knows what happened. As I've said many of times, the
- 16:46Speaker 1: spaceship didn't just fly to Wyoming and shoot down a
- 16:51Speaker 1: beam and pick him up. Doesn't happen that way. I
- 16:53Speaker 1: get it's more remote, but somebody has to know something.
- 16:57Speaker 1: His family is still waya for answers. Okay, So, like
