- 0:11Speaker 1: calls and some new callers. We always love new callers.
- 0:14Speaker 1: If you haven't called before, give us a call. 800-321-0710
- 0:16Speaker 1: is the number.
- 0:17Speaker 2: 800-321-0710.
- 0:17Speaker 1: Let's go to Richard in Bayshore. Richard, how are you doing?
- 0:29Speaker 3: Very well, Mark. Good morning. Mark, if that $ 1. 35 trillion
- 0:33Speaker 3: that Trump proposed spending on the $ 5, 000 per were applied
- 0:38Speaker 3: to Social Security, it would be secure for another seven
- 0:41Speaker 3: to eight years, even at an uncompounded rate.
- 0:45Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 0:47Speaker 3: I think giving people $ 5, 000 apiece is probably inflationary. It's counterproductive.
- 0:52Speaker 1: Nobody's actually giving anybody $ 5, 000. You just say it in
- 0:55Speaker 1: a speech. It's like... It's like Biden forgiving student loans
- 0:59Speaker 1: never actually happens. You can't actually execute it.
- 1:01Speaker 3: Well, he actually tried. He tried awfully hard to ignore
- 1:04Speaker 3: the courts on that.
- 1:05Speaker 1: No, he didn't. He just pretended he was trying. He
- 1:08Speaker 1: didn't try at all. Let's go to Andrew in Newark. Andrew,
- 1:12Speaker 1: how are you doing?
- 1:14Speaker 3: Hey, Mark.
- 1:14Speaker 4: How are you doing, man?
- 1:15Speaker 3: Good.
- 1:15Speaker 4: I wanted to say I really strongly disagree with you.
- 1:18Speaker 4: You just said that... Mamdami's grocery stores was the worst
- 1:22Speaker 4: idea in all of history.
- 1:24Speaker 1: I didn't say that. I never said anything like that.
- 1:26Speaker 4: You didn't say that it was the worst idea? No.
- 1:29Speaker 1: I said they were a terrible idea. I didn't say
- 1:31Speaker 1: the worst idea. Yeah, I said they were.
- 1:33Speaker 3: Well, I'm just saying, I think in all of history.
- 1:35Speaker 1: Well, you've got to stop with this all of history.
- 1:37Speaker 1: They're a dumb idea. I said they were a scheme
- 1:39Speaker 1: of dumb ideas. Stop with the worst in history. in
- 1:42Speaker 1: all of mankind.
- 1:43Speaker 3: Huh?
- 1:44Speaker 4: But yesterday, the thing with the trial with.
- 1:47Speaker 1: Nancy, with the children.
- 1:51Speaker 1: Huh?
- 1:53Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:53Speaker 4: Yesterday, we're talking about this woman called up.
- 1:55Speaker 5: I couldn't believe it.
- 1:56Speaker 3: The trial with the woman that killed her children.
- 1:58Speaker 1: Nancy Clark or whatever. Oh, the woman that killed her children. Yeah.
- 2:02Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 2:03Speaker 1: You don't know her name? You're the only guy in
- 2:05Speaker 1: America that can't remember her name? You forgot her name?
- 2:10Speaker 4: You forgot the husband.
- 2:11Speaker 3: You didn't know the husband's name yesterday when this lady
- 2:13Speaker 3: called in.
- 2:13Speaker 1: No, I didn't know the husband's name. All right. Well,
- 2:17Speaker 1: thanks for mixing us up here. Let's go to Philly. Philly,
- 2:21Speaker 1: how you doing?
- 2:25Speaker 2: Mark?
- 2:26Speaker 1: Yeah, who's this? Is this Philly?
- 2:27Speaker 2: Yeah, this is Rich from Philadelphia.
- 2:29Speaker 1: Oh, it just says Philly. Okay, sorry.
- 2:31Speaker 2: Yes, Rich from Philadelphia. The president's talking about giving $ 5, 000
- 2:35Speaker 2: for every taxpayer. I'm still waiting for my $ 2, 000 that
- 2:40Speaker 2: he promised a year ago or two years ago.
- 2:42Speaker 1: Well, we all got it. You didn't get it.
- 2:45Speaker 2: No, I still didn't get it in the mail.
- 2:47Speaker 1: I think it's something personal with you and him, because
- 2:49Speaker 1: we all got a nice big check for $ 2, 000. We
- 2:52Speaker 1: got a note from him. You didn't get it?
- 2:54Speaker 2: Okay, I'll quote Fetterman, my senator. Quote Fetterman to tell
- 2:59Speaker 2: him I want my $ 2, 000 check. You have a great day, Mark.
- 3:02Speaker 1: All right, thanks for calling. Listen, it's a gimmick, $ 5, 000
- 3:07Speaker 1: to everybody, yet couldn't actually pull it off. Now, what
- 3:11Speaker 1: he was saying was, It would come from a massive
- 3:15Speaker 1: increase in the economy, which could happen. You've got a
- 3:19Speaker 1: manufacturing boom going on right now. If things get settled
- 3:24Speaker 1: in Iran, oil comes crashing in, you could have a
- 3:26Speaker 1: massive boom in the economy. And what he was saying was,
- 3:29Speaker 1: like most companies when they have an incredible year, they
- 3:33Speaker 1: give dividends out to the shareholders. That's what he was
- 3:36Speaker 1: talking about. You can't actually do it, though. Let's go
- 3:38Speaker 1: to Mike in St.
- 3:40Speaker 4: James.
- 3:40Speaker 1: Mike, how are you doing?
- 3:42Speaker 4: Good morning, Mark.
- 3:43Speaker 1: Yes, Mark.
- 3:44Speaker 4: Hey, Mark. Donald wants to bring factories back to America.
- 3:48Speaker 1: Well, he's already done it.
- 3:48Speaker 3: Well, isn't it a problem that the workers here want
- 3:53Speaker 3: $ 40 or $ 50 an hour compared to China?
- 3:56Speaker 1: Well, I hate to break it to you. He's already
- 3:57Speaker 1: brought a lot of factories back. A ton of manufacturing
- 3:59Speaker 1: has opened up in the last couple of years here.
- 4:01Speaker 1: A ton of manufacturing. Huge manufacturing. He already did it.
- 4:07Speaker 1: It's actually happened. So you can't argue. It's working. You
- 4:10Speaker 1: can't argue against it.
- 4:12Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 4:13Speaker 1: That would have been a good call two years ago
- 4:14Speaker 1: before he brought it all here. Let's go to Joel
- 4:17Speaker 1: in Connecticut. Joel, how you doing? Joel? Joel?
- 4:26Speaker 4: Yes, sir.
- 4:27Speaker 1: I don't mind you having the radio on, but it
- 4:28Speaker 1: seems to be on a different station. That's the problem.
- 4:31Speaker 4: No, no. Mark, I'm only calling to tell you, Lindsay Clancy.
- 4:36Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 4:36Speaker 4: Whenever they got her Irish up, Clancy lowered the boom. Boom, boom, boom.
- 4:42Speaker 4: That's what I was listening to, Mark. That old Bing
- 4:45Speaker 4: Crosby and Dennis Day song, Clancy lowered the boom.
- 4:49Speaker 1: Yeah, listen, it's a little early for happy hour, but
- 4:53Speaker 1: where are you in Connecticut?
- 4:54Speaker 4: I'm not happy hour. I'm a coffee bagel young man
- 4:58Speaker 4: of 83 years old.
- 5:00Speaker 1: Where are you? What part of Connecticut?
- 5:01Speaker 4: Relishing my retirement in Connecticut.
- 5:04Speaker 1: Where in Connecticut?
- 5:06Speaker 2: Where?
- 5:06Speaker 4: Westport land.
- 5:07Speaker 1: Westport.
- 5:08Speaker 4: Oh. Magical, wonderful Westport.
- 5:11Speaker 1: You're that guy we see on Campo Beach running around
- 5:14Speaker 1: bothering everybody, right?
- 5:15Speaker 4: This is true. I'm running around trying to lick their
- 5:17Speaker 4: ice cream cones.
- 5:18Speaker 1: My God, I'm sorry.
- 5:20Speaker 4: My God, I'm telling you, when they have an ice cream,
- 5:23Speaker 4: I got to be there. But that Lindsay Clancy woman.
- 5:26Speaker 1: You sound like you're in a 1940s gangster movie with
- 5:29Speaker 1: James Cagney. Now, look here, you mug.
- 5:31Speaker 4: She here. I tell you, I grew up in a...
- 5:35Speaker 4: In a neighborhood in Brooklyn, there were a lot of
- 5:37Speaker 4: gangsters when I was a kid. Oh, all right. So
- 5:40Speaker 4: they imprinted me in some way, I guess.
- 5:42Speaker 1: All right, Joel. Thanks for calling. Let's go to Mary
- 5:46Speaker 1: in New Jersey. Mary, how you doing?
- 5:48Speaker 5: I'm well, thank you. My question is, it's not likely
- 5:52Speaker 5: that Trump will give the $ 5, 000 to.
- 5:54Speaker 4: Everybody in the country.
- 5:56Speaker 5: However, I'm curious as to know, are Democrats aware of
- 6:00Speaker 5: why Biden allowed millions of illegals into this country? Yes.
- 6:04Speaker 5: Wasn't it for the vote?
- 6:05Speaker 1: It was for the votes. It was for cheap labor.
- 6:08Speaker 1: It was to get millions of them on the voter rolls,
- 6:10Speaker 1: which they did do. Borders wide open. Hey, there's actually
- 6:14Speaker 1: a movement. I don't know if it's Donald Trump or
- 6:16Speaker 1: the Republicans. They want to actually pass some sort of legislation,
- 6:21Speaker 1: actual law, that it's illegal to leave the border open,
- 6:25Speaker 1: that a future president, future leader could actually be arrested
- 6:29Speaker 1: if he didn't secure the border. They're trying to actually
- 6:32Speaker 1: codify that somehow. Hey, when we come back, the best
- 6:35Speaker 1: late-night show host in television, Jimmy Fela. He's on here
- 6:41Speaker 1: on WOR every weeknight, 9 to midnight. He's on Fox
- 6:45Speaker 1: News Channel Saturday nights. We've got a lot to talk
- 6:47Speaker 1: to him about. The very funny Jimmy Fela is next
- 6:50Speaker 1: on 710WOR.
