A major fire erupted in Central El Paso on Monday night, June 29, forcing 60 firefighters and 25 units to battle flames near Montana and Octavia. Though initially centered on a boarded-up home, two structures suffered roof collapses, with crews working into the night to secure the scene. Fortunately, no one was inside any of the affected buildings at the time, and displaced residents are now being supported by the Red Cross.
