- 5:36Speaker 1: There's no chicken in it. No, yeah, but I'm saying
- 5:39Speaker 1: so to remove the flavor.
- 5:40Speaker 2: So this is really but no, but this has been
- 5:42Speaker 2: like put to the side, being prepared like it was
- 5:44Speaker 2: gonna be chicken. So we gotta chicken.
- 5:47Speaker 1: Okay, damn, I was gonna mix the sauce.
- 5:51Speaker 2: I almost did it again. It's all good.
- 5:54Speaker 1: You don't put that in there right out, and that's
- 6:00Speaker 1: that's what you coust.
- 6:02Speaker 2: Okay, okay, all right, you were doing that sometime. When
- 6:13Speaker 2: you crush them up too much, you look stupid. And
- 6:15Speaker 2: now they look like frosty flake. They just in the
- 6:18Speaker 2: little Okay. Then we're gonna talk these like him like
- 6:23Speaker 2: there's some oysters and you let that cool.
- 6:32Speaker 1: Okay. So take me back to what was going on
- 6:35Speaker 1: when you were eating ramen consistently.
- 6:37Speaker 2: It was some dope for real real.
- 6:40Speaker 1: Yeah. So it wasn't making a profit.
- 6:43Speaker 2: No, it made enough profit, but you know, you. You
- 6:46Speaker 2: gotta like manage your money. And you know what I'm saying,
- 6:49Speaker 2: don't don't live over your means. You know what I'm saying.
- 6:52Speaker 2: Like I knew then, like a right, I could survive
- 6:55Speaker 2: off of churches two piece three no three three two
- 7:00Speaker 2: and a wing and two biscuits. I do that two
- 7:03Speaker 2: times a day on Strape. I I ate, I thought
- 7:06Speaker 2: I did. No niggas, you ain't eat you badly getting back.
- 7:10Speaker 2: You feel what I'm saying. But as a youngster, you're
- 7:12Speaker 2: like shit that She called me salm dollars to the
- 7:14Speaker 2: max and I made three four hundred today. She the hell,
- 7:18Speaker 2: I'm up here e one hundred dollar worth of food
- 7:19Speaker 2: for So you know that was that was around about
- 7:22Speaker 2: that time.
- 7:22Speaker 1: How old were you? Nineteen twenty, nineteen twenty and then
- 7:27Speaker 1: I just want a quick picture of your home life
- 7:30Speaker 1: growing up. My home life parents together, separated, not be.
- 7:35Speaker 2: Separated, been separated. So I was like six years old. Uh,
- 7:40Speaker 2: Dad stayed on Bankhead. I stayed at Adamsville. Mom stayed
- 7:43Speaker 2: at Addamsville with the Carver Maids. CRIM graduated from CRIM.
- 7:47Speaker 2: That's a another public school on the East Side, but
- 7:50Speaker 2: it's an alternate school open campus. You could be four
- 7:53Speaker 2: there and come back and get your ged right. You
- 7:56Speaker 2: being playing with a niggas sixteen? You like, were you
- 7:59Speaker 2: all it for? He was a nigga in the bathroom.
- 8:01Speaker 2: I knew that nigga under cover. Bro. When we shooting
- 8:03Speaker 2: dice right, I look up. I'm like the nigga ugly,
- 8:06Speaker 2: but he looked old and fault. He probably like every
- 8:09Speaker 2: little bit of twenty something. And I tapped my pondict
- 8:12Speaker 2: because I'm thinking it's police on the coat. I'm like,
- 8:14Speaker 2: bro hoo, little hold, little hold, little I said, hey, brow,
- 8:16Speaker 2: I said, who you here? He telling me woo woo,
- 8:19Speaker 2: And I'm like, you go to school here? You were
- 8:21Speaker 2: like yeah, he got a notebook and everything. I was like,
- 8:23Speaker 2: what program you in here? Like I'm in the GED program.
- 8:26Speaker 2: I was like, how old you in? He was like
- 8:28Speaker 2: I twenty eight. I was like, bro, we seventeen. You
- 8:31Speaker 2: in here with some seventeen yold But how my money
- 8:33Speaker 2: you got to put out? So we gat up with
- 8:35Speaker 2: an old lad nigga. So them the type of environments
- 8:38Speaker 2: that I was in when I was growing up. In
- 8:40Speaker 2: nineteen twenty, I'm just outside just trying to figure it out.
- 8:43Speaker 1: How did you end up an alternative school, were you?
- 8:46Speaker 2: I got called in school some week.
- 8:47Speaker 1: Okay, so you selling weed pretty much?
- 8:50Speaker 2: Yeah, I'll selling we at school. Don't do that kids,
- 8:52Speaker 2: That's bad, that's that's a crazy feeling. It You don't
- 8:54Speaker 2: even know what you're getting yourself into. You think you're
- 8:56Speaker 2: ge getting some money, but they got a real no
- 8:59Speaker 2: drug say zero drugs at school and that shit coming
- 9:03Speaker 2: like ten charges that you don't even know nothing back.
- 9:05Speaker 1: So when you're at that age, did you have an
- 9:07Speaker 1: idea on what you wanted to do with your life.
- 9:10Speaker 2: As a youngster. No, I wanted to play ball. I
- 9:12Speaker 2: wanted to play ball. I really had a dream in basketball.
- 9:15Speaker 2: And then once I told I was no good, it
- 9:17Speaker 2: fought me up. You know what I'm saying.
- 9:18Speaker 1: So who told you were no good?
- 9:20Speaker 2: A coach? I think you still living a nigga ain't comet.
- 9:24Speaker 1: He was playing at high school and it was.
- 9:26Speaker 2: Just like, yeah, I went to another high school when
- 9:28Speaker 2: I got kicked out of my first high school, I
- 9:29Speaker 2: went to another high school and there was a little
- 9:31Speaker 2: bit more advanced. You know how certain school be more advanced.
- 9:33Speaker 2: So you good over here, but over here you ain't
- 9:35Speaker 2: really that good. You know what I'm saying. The boys
- 9:37Speaker 2: advance and like you're playing in the country and you're like,
- 9:40Speaker 2: but he nigga died. He's so sorry. Did you come
- 9:42Speaker 2: into city? You like, but you you need to go
- 9:44Speaker 2: back to the country. You don't get a better chance
- 9:49Speaker 2: at the country. So that type of I understood that
- 9:53Speaker 2: once I got older, because at car we were just
- 9:56Speaker 2: starting the school and in the particular school that I
- 9:58Speaker 2: was at, at School of the Arts, I kind of
- 10:00Speaker 2: had like the best jump shot, you know, I had
- 10:04Speaker 2: the best potential that could represent that school. You know
- 10:07Speaker 2: what I'm saying. You know, I like you, maybe all right,
- 10:10Speaker 2: but if we need a team, we're gonna at least
- 10:12Speaker 2: start with you. You know what I'm saying. We ain't got
- 10:14Speaker 2: to train you. You know what I'm saying. But when
- 10:16Speaker 2: I went over there to made them balls over there,
- 10:18Speaker 2: like the boy go to summer league and all this
- 10:22Speaker 2: extra shit, and I'm like, oh yeah, I ain't do
- 10:25Speaker 2: the summer league programs and all that. I just waited
- 10:27Speaker 2: to basketball season to come around. Y'all niggas do this
- 10:30Speaker 2: ship year round. While I'm playing baseball, you still playing basketball.
- 10:35Speaker 2: So it was like, oh yeah, and Once that shit happened,
- 10:37Speaker 2: it was just like, all right, I'm in the streets
- 10:38Speaker 2: for real, Like, all right, what did they to do?
- 10:40Speaker 2: Because I thought it was gonna be basketball? And since
- 10:42Speaker 2: it ain't basketball, and what what did you say? Oh? Yeah,
- 10:48Speaker 2: I started saying cocaine fifteen sixteen years old. I saw
- 10:51Speaker 2: cocaine the next week.
- 10:53Speaker 1: Okay, you're still in school, though, Yeah, okay, so you're
- 10:56Speaker 1: in school, you're selling cocaine your basketball teams. Okay.
- 11:01Speaker 2: So it like he took my dreams and put them
- 11:05Speaker 2: in the ball like space jam and boot it that bitch,
- 11:08Speaker 2: and I ain't never seen it again. I just I've
- 11:14Speaker 2: been sorry. I go on to the basketball court. You
- 11:16Speaker 2: I'm like, bro, I play like I believe him. I'm like,
- 11:26Speaker 2: that's what you were talking about. It wasn't gonna never
- 11:30Speaker 2: make it. So it was like, yeah, but that's why
- 11:34Speaker 2: I don't crush people dreams now, because I done been
- 11:37Speaker 2: in like certain situations where I know what they feel like.
- 11:40Speaker 2: I can't cruse nobody dreams. As a child, it was
- 11:44Speaker 2: it was crazy that they had to be that real
- 11:46Speaker 2: and that harsh, you know what I'm saying. But it
- 11:48Speaker 2: was good that I had at an early age, because
- 11:51Speaker 2: somebody who may think they're strong probably went through that.
- 11:54Speaker 2: Like at twenty five, you feel, men, they don't even
- 11:56Speaker 2: know how to deal with that shit. You're thinking, you
- 11:59Speaker 2: read it, you feel I'm saying, but I had to
- 12:00Speaker 2: deal with that shit at an early age, like somebody
- 12:03Speaker 2: telling me some shit that I believed in since I
- 12:05Speaker 2: was a child and tell me that I was no
- 12:07Speaker 2: good and then I wasn't gonna be shit with it,
- 12:08Speaker 2: and it was just like find something else to do.
- 12:10Speaker 2: It was like, I ain't never heard that in my life,
- 12:12Speaker 2: you know, And once that happened, I was just like,
- 12:14Speaker 2: all right. I was always open minded to doing new
- 12:17Speaker 2: ship if this don't work. So I've been like that
- 12:20Speaker 2: since fifteen. If this don't work, I'm gonna do that.
- 12:22Speaker 2: If that don't work, I'm gonna do that.
- 12:23Speaker 1: So what made the drugs not work?
- 12:25Speaker 2: I ain't say that didn't work.
- 12:28Speaker 1: Well, you you pivoted out of it.
- 12:30Speaker 2: So yeah, it just wasn't for me, okay, So what.
- 12:32Speaker 1: Was the thing that made it not for you?
- 12:34Speaker 2: It was just God telling me it wasn't for me.
- 12:38Speaker 4: Okay.
- 12:38Speaker 2: It was just you gotta be you gotta be paying
- 12:40Speaker 2: attention when when you go through shit and he make
- 12:42Speaker 2: you sit still and it's a it's a time of reflection,
- 12:46Speaker 2: you know what I'm saying. You have to really reflect
- 12:47Speaker 2: and try to make sure that your next move is
- 12:50Speaker 2: your best move. You know what I'm saying. So the
- 12:53Speaker 2: person that y'all know today and who who I become
- 12:58Speaker 2: and who I am and what I stand for, was
- 12:59Speaker 2: a person that was just like a right, I had
- 13:02Speaker 2: a street mentality just like that, Like how I'm so
- 13:04Speaker 2: adamant by doing this. I was adamant in the street.
- 13:08Speaker 2: I was adamant, like I won't to see a drugs
- 13:11Speaker 2: Like if we got to meet the plug, I gotta
- 13:13Speaker 2: learn how to whip cocaine, Like I'm trying to whatever
- 13:16Speaker 2: lane there was, well, there were the money was being made.
- 13:20Speaker 2: I have to learn that and be that and do that.
- 13:23Speaker 2: And I got stabbed up in twenty thirteen and I
- 13:27Speaker 2: had to sit down and really just reflect on my
- 13:30Speaker 2: life and figure it out. And that's when Divine and
- 13:33Speaker 2: the Comedy came about. You know, when I had nothing,
- 13:36Speaker 2: God knew that I had to take my hands away
- 13:39Speaker 2: because you have see a dope.
- 13:40Speaker 1: Hand yetta, is that where you got hurt?
- 13:43Speaker 2: Yeah? I got stabbed bright here, and I got stabbed
- 13:45Speaker 2: over here, and I got stabbed in my back. Okay,
- 13:48Speaker 2: so it was like I was in the cast for
- 13:52Speaker 2: a couple months, long time. But it's like when you
- 13:55Speaker 2: when you break bones and you shatter bones and you
- 13:57Speaker 2: cut things, that's along recuperation, Like that's a long especially
- 14:01Speaker 2: when you have to relearn to use things. You can
- 14:03Speaker 2: sit there and be like, I'm gonna get my feeling back,
- 14:06Speaker 2: but you don't get that actual muscle memory. You have
- 14:11Speaker 2: to work on that, you know what I'm saying. Especially
- 14:14Speaker 2: when something happened to you and then you like have
- 14:15Speaker 2: to start over. You will think like, oh my han
- 14:17Speaker 2: ain't gonna come back like this. No, if I wasn't
- 14:19Speaker 2: doing this every day, I should have been just like
- 14:21Speaker 2: this stuck.
- 14:23Speaker 4: Wow.
- 14:24Speaker 2: So I had to work on it. And that was
- 14:26Speaker 2: a time of reflection and trying to me get my
- 14:28Speaker 2: life together. And then that's when the Vine came about.
- 14:30Speaker 1: You said, Vine, Vine, Vine, the infamous vine. Six second video.
- 14:35Speaker 2: Six second video.
- 14:36Speaker 1: Okay, so vine comes off, You're coming out of the cast.
- 14:40Speaker 2: I'm still in it. My hand on woulcuperate to like
- 14:42Speaker 2: two years later.
- 14:43Speaker 1: Okay, So what happens with Vine.
- 14:46Speaker 2: My Boy Fat and paid my Boy Money bad Mafia
- 14:48Speaker 2: US twenty five hundred. We all started on that vine together.
- 14:51Speaker 2: Back then it was a it was a it was
- 14:53Speaker 2: a union of Atlanta viners and that was we represented
- 14:59Speaker 2: Georgia at the time where people don't know. Vine was
- 15:02Speaker 2: a huge thing for people that was on social media
- 15:06Speaker 2: and people represent a side of town. Like people may
- 15:10Speaker 2: looked at him like it was people like that was
- 15:13Speaker 2: on vine. No, we was representing like like Georgia because
- 15:18Speaker 2: you got Nola that's how people know, Soup of Them
- 15:21Speaker 2: and Tokyo Vanity because they represented Louisiana. And now I
- 15:26Speaker 2: know that because I was in that area. You feel me.
- 15:28Speaker 2: So it was like, who's in Louisiana popping? They was popping?
- 15:31Speaker 2: Who is Georgia popper? Me and my partner's popper, And
- 15:34Speaker 2: it was like, that's how keen Badge popping? Oh them,
- 15:36Speaker 2: that's the West Coast niggas. Oh you feel what I'm saying.
- 15:39Speaker 2: So it was like everybody was representing something and once
- 15:42Speaker 2: that popped off, it was like people was following it.
- 15:44Speaker 2: I ain't know how big it was. I ain't even
- 15:45Speaker 2: know people was doing this on their spare time. I
- 15:47Speaker 2: was selling dope. I did not know people was on
- 15:51Speaker 2: the internet looking at video.
- 15:54Speaker 1: Yeah, but Vine was a very challenging application because it
- 15:57Speaker 1: was six seconds to get It wasn't a six second
- 16:00Speaker 1: how long was it was?
- 16:01Speaker 2: It was six seconds. You gotta also understand. And that's
- 16:03Speaker 2: crazy that I think about like that. I wasn't paying
- 16:06Speaker 2: attention to none of that ship. So you weren't on
- 16:09Speaker 2: socials at all? No, No, I was on social but
- 16:13Speaker 2: I'm like Facebook checking d M hoping somebody said something.
- 16:17Speaker 2: And then like like it was that type ship, like
- 16:20Speaker 2: you know, that regular life ship, Like did she write
- 16:23Speaker 2: back ass niggas?
- 16:24Speaker 4: That was?
- 16:24Speaker 2: That was me? You know what I mean? Like, what
- 16:27Speaker 2: what is that to do on Facebook? Besides scroll on
- 16:31Speaker 2: your feet? Yeah, but that's I'm gonna sit down and
- 16:34Speaker 2: do that later on. But we're not recording no videos
- 16:38Speaker 2: on them. I know. I'm in the streets, man, this
- 16:40Speaker 2: ship is telling on yourself. What am I recording?
- 16:43Speaker 1: So you in the streets? You adopted divine platform.
- 16:48Speaker 2: I was nervous.
- 16:50Speaker 1: You were nervous, big.
- 16:55Speaker 2: Over here, Like I know you're talking, but you hurry up.
- 17:04Speaker 1: So you're on the buying. Was it hard to adopt
- 17:06Speaker 1: the six second comedy.
- 17:09Speaker 2: It was hard to adopt doing that ship anyway, because
- 17:12Speaker 2: I ain't know what that ship was.
- 17:14Speaker 1: Were you editing videos or just shooting in that's just
- 17:16Speaker 1: six seconds.
- 17:17Speaker 2: It ain't no time. We can't edit them. It was
- 17:19Speaker 2: like La the La Cruise be editing. But we knew
- 17:23Speaker 2: we was different from them. I told my part and
- 17:25Speaker 2: I said, hey, bro, they're great at this, Like they're
- 17:29Speaker 2: already sitting a standard in the mark of saying all right,
- 17:33Speaker 2: there's a level to get to. But look, bro, were
- 17:36Speaker 2: in the hood. Bro, we can't flip no call. I
- 17:38Speaker 2: told my band. I said, Bro, we can't be coming
- 17:40Speaker 2: up with sh thinking we're gonna flip a car and
- 17:43Speaker 2: then hoping we get somebody to edit it. That's gonna flip. No, nigga.
- 17:47Speaker 2: I got roaches in my house. I'm gonna show them
- 17:50Speaker 2: these roaches that I can flip. Ain't God damn, that's
- 17:54Speaker 2: what they gonna get. And when I did it and
- 17:56Speaker 2: were like, look at the roads, was likely so fascinated
- 17:59Speaker 2: about its rope. I was like, I got some long
- 18:06Speaker 2: so like, I was just fascinated that they was fascinated
- 18:09Speaker 2: by this ship, like they've never been in the UOD
- 18:12Speaker 2: and I would just open up the door, just like
- 18:14Speaker 2: what this hood life was about. But how we can
- 18:16Speaker 2: just keep our You know what I'm saying, humility about ship.
- 18:20Speaker 2: You feel what I'm saying like we were good. The
- 18:23Speaker 2: way you look at us is like those guys over there,
- 18:26Speaker 2: they're in the ghetto and there's some thugs and I'm like, nah, nigga,
- 18:29Speaker 2: we really be laughing and ship off, buddy. Yeah, you
- 18:32Speaker 2: feel like, look at this ship. Now you're intrigued because
- 18:36Speaker 2: I'm showing you a day in the life of what
- 18:38Speaker 2: did Like if you've watched me and you follow me,
- 18:40Speaker 2: I literally showed you a day in the life of
- 18:42Speaker 2: my life. Yeah, I showed you how it started, from
- 18:45Speaker 2: where it started to where I am. Now these motherfucker
- 18:47Speaker 2: being in my goddamn face.
- 18:49Speaker 1: So you're doing successful, You're starting to pick up on buying.
- 18:53Speaker 1: What's your next place? We go to Instagram because the
- 18:57Speaker 1: time is long, time is longer. And not only that,
- 19:01Speaker 1: it was like, weren't nobody over there, nobody and this
- 19:06Speaker 1: is before vine falls off complete and they.
- 19:08Speaker 2: Really weren't falling off. It was just they had other
- 19:11Speaker 2: apps that was being competitors and they was giving us
- 19:15Speaker 2: more seconds, and it wasn't really no way for us
- 19:20Speaker 2: to make income off of Vine like that. It was
- 19:23Speaker 2: more so notoriety. And when Instagram came out, it was
- 19:28Speaker 2: a little bit more faster than Vine, and the income
- 19:32Speaker 2: started coming when people wanted you to come out for
- 19:34Speaker 2: appearances and stuff. You're not getting called out for appearances
- 19:37Speaker 2: on the Vine, but I came out this shit. You
- 19:39Speaker 2: just known on one of these little social media platforms.
- 19:42Speaker 2: And back then the big labels didn't really know what
- 19:47Speaker 2: to do with these upcoming social media stars. They knew
- 19:51Speaker 2: people from YouTube. And you gotta also understand my arranger.
- 19:56Speaker 2: YouTube we're watching We're going on YouTube to watch fights, ships.
- 20:00Speaker 1: Like world star type.
- 20:01Speaker 2: Yeah, like we ain't even going on there, but watch
- 20:04Speaker 2: nothing productives not long. We got the access to go
- 20:07Speaker 2: look up anything. We won't We're going on world start
- 20:10Speaker 2: looking for a fight.
- 20:24Speaker 1: So you're you're so you're you. You're able to take
- 20:27Speaker 1: your fan base off of Vine and transfer to Instagram,
- 20:30Speaker 1: which is a huge feat. Okay, so you take your
- 20:33Speaker 1: fan base, you switch to Instagram, you realize that you
- 20:35Speaker 1: have something. When do you actually realize that you have
- 20:38Speaker 1: something enough? Well, let me backtrack. After the hand situation.
- 20:43Speaker 1: You completely stopped doing deal dealing, right, Yeah, I knew
- 20:46Speaker 1: that wasn't gonna do nothing, Okay, So I had to
- 20:48Speaker 1: make it. I had to make a pack, not really
- 20:52Speaker 1: a pack.
- 20:52Speaker 2: It was just a promise to the high power that
- 20:58Speaker 2: if I take these years, I ain't really gonna be
- 21:01Speaker 2: setting little dope. Well I'm not gonna be setting a
- 21:03Speaker 2: little dope. It took me a minute to get my
- 21:05Speaker 2: like like completely stopped, probably a year. You know how,
- 21:10Speaker 2: niggas still be trying to be in the street. You
- 21:12Speaker 2: know what I'm saying. I'm not supposed to have my
- 21:16Speaker 2: hand touching it and doing all that. You and you're
- 21:18Speaker 2: not a street dealer. You're not. You can't ask me
- 21:22Speaker 2: for some weed and I received money for it. I'm
- 21:24Speaker 2: gonna feel so bad. I can't. I can't hand for
- 21:27Speaker 2: hand through no drug transactional like that ship. I'm gonna
- 21:30Speaker 2: feel horrible, you know what I'm saying. So it's like
- 21:33Speaker 2: I leave that alone to become this, I guess this
- 21:37Speaker 2: comedian or whatever. This is what it's working. I know
- 21:41Speaker 2: I'm gonna get somebody of it, but I don't really know.
- 21:43Speaker 2: I'm really trying to be a music star. So I'm
- 21:45Speaker 2: gonna just make a know the ride and the drop
- 21:47Speaker 2: an album and then.
- 21:49Speaker 1: So the goal was music.
- 21:51Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm like, I'm gonna get something, get signed. That's
- 21:53Speaker 2: what I thought, like. I did it the second month
- 21:56Speaker 2: I started. The first month, I was like, ooh, ship,
- 21:58Speaker 2: I dropped a the second month and nobody was messing
- 22:02Speaker 2: with No, they listened to it, but they ain't get signed.
- 22:05Speaker 2: That's why I was nice. Year. Maybe I do need
- 22:09Speaker 2: what is this? I don't know what it is yet.
- 22:10Speaker 2: I don't know what this is. You know, I gotta
- 22:13Speaker 2: wake up and really don't want to do this shit
- 22:16Speaker 2: and record videos and my handhard and I want to
- 22:20Speaker 2: make some money. I can't sell no dough.
- 22:23Speaker 1: But when do you see your first check after you
- 22:25Speaker 1: do the switch over?
- 22:27Speaker 2: No, I ain't make no money like two and a
- 22:28Speaker 2: half year later. That what I'm trying to tell people.
- 22:30Speaker 2: You got to stay down for the come up.
- 22:32Speaker 1: So you stayed down for two and a half years
- 22:34Speaker 1: and no dope dealing. So you're really so is this
- 22:37Speaker 1: when you're really struggling, you're eating these beef around me.
- 22:40Speaker 2: No, I'm not. I'm not struggling. I know how to hustle.
- 22:43Speaker 2: That's the thing though I wasn't just I wasn't selling
- 22:46Speaker 2: weedemailing cocaine. It was just like a r the vine
- 22:51Speaker 2: was it was a it was a thing. It was
- 22:53Speaker 2: a little thing on vine where you could do ads
- 22:55Speaker 2: for a company or something, make a couple of dollar.
- 22:58Speaker 2: Then Instagram you do a couple shout outs. Then I
- 23:01Speaker 2: started being able to get booked in clubs to do appearances,
- 23:06Speaker 2: so you kind of make a couple of thousand with
- 23:08Speaker 2: the club appearance. So it's like, all right, I probably
- 23:11Speaker 2: made three four thousand a month, three thousand that month,
- 23:14Speaker 2: but it like I ain't got to say an no dout.
- 23:17Speaker 1: Yeah, of course you feel me.
- 23:18Speaker 2: I can use this in order to do this, but
- 23:20Speaker 2: I don't know how hard to go at this, and
- 23:22Speaker 2: I don't even know what this is. I'm just using
- 23:25Speaker 2: it right now to do enough to get by. And
- 23:27Speaker 2: then once other things started coming about, like all right,
- 23:29Speaker 2: you gotta learn how to do stand up.
- 23:31Speaker 1: That's what it's gonna be my next coming and all.
- 23:33Speaker 2: That, and it was like I needed to perfect marketing
- 23:37Speaker 2: myself on Instagram for me to keep going to the
- 23:41Speaker 2: next level. So now I knew I'm like, okay, I'm
- 23:46Speaker 2: getting booked for appearances. This is twenty fourteen and fifteen,
- 23:50Speaker 2: and it's like, all right, but I gotta be a comedian.
- 23:52Speaker 2: I gotta learn this. So I didn't go get no
- 23:54Speaker 2: money for a whole year, just so I can be
- 23:56Speaker 2: able to understand what being a comedian was. The fourteen
- 24:00Speaker 2: I started doing comedy twenty fourteen, I ain't start booking
- 24:04Speaker 2: shows for real to like twenty sixteen.
- 24:09Speaker 1: Wow, So for two years you're basically just studying comedy.
- 24:13Speaker 2: I'm working, I'm learning.
- 24:14Speaker 1: You're learning. So are you going out every night? You're
- 24:17Speaker 1: just watching old school videos.
- 24:18Speaker 2: Now I'm watching videos and watching other the legends and
- 24:22Speaker 2: going to already open up, pop up, you know what
- 24:24Speaker 2: I'm saying.
- 24:24Speaker 1: The opening I'm doing all oh every week? And how
- 24:28Speaker 1: was your first time going up?
- 24:30Speaker 2: My first time going up? It was a music show.
- 24:33Speaker 2: They just look at me. But you got to break
- 24:35Speaker 2: the ice though, So that's the thing. I broke the
- 24:36Speaker 2: ice and now able to call myself a comedian because
- 24:38Speaker 2: I hadn't done what comedians do. Grab the mice and
- 24:41Speaker 2: try to tell Joe's from the people that you don't
- 24:42Speaker 2: know right then and there. But it's like, all right,
- 24:45Speaker 2: where do I go for mine, Do I continue or
- 24:47Speaker 2: it's a journey. It's a journey. I remember the day
- 24:49Speaker 2: I started to where I am now, Like even with
- 24:51Speaker 2: the confidence and being able to go on stage with
- 24:54Speaker 2: the confidence was saying I am a performer. But I
- 24:58Speaker 2: remember the stages of me not understanding, like this job
- 25:02Speaker 2: picked me because God wanted me to do this, and
- 25:06Speaker 2: this was way quicker than any like when you do
- 25:08Speaker 2: your college. Steve harbystite that he said, when you do
- 25:09Speaker 2: your calling, you feel me, God bless you, abundant it
- 25:12Speaker 2: you feel me like. That's why I said it was
- 25:16Speaker 2: it was nothing but good came out of this.
- 25:18Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 25:18Speaker 2: Nothing When I sold dope it was bad. It was
- 25:21Speaker 2: not I'm gonna say bad. It was just stressful. It
- 25:26Speaker 2: was stressful.
- 25:27Speaker 1: You don't feel like your life right now can be stressful.
- 25:29Speaker 1: We consider stressful.
- 25:31Speaker 2: No, it's not that. It's just that's why I got
- 25:33Speaker 2: my hustle from. That's why you realize people that's complacent,
- 25:38Speaker 2: they don't have the energy to hustle. You gotta have
- 25:41Speaker 2: a certain energy to be a hustler, that undeniable determination
- 25:46Speaker 2: of going to get it by any means. It could
- 25:49Speaker 2: be a sense of stress if you're not strong enough
- 25:53Speaker 2: to understand, like I gotta do this in order to
- 25:56Speaker 2: get to the next day. Like it was a day
- 25:58Speaker 2: and I ain't feel like it's inting dope. But it
- 26:00Speaker 2: was like my phone ringing, I gotta get up, go
- 26:02Speaker 2: down here whatever, I gotta go to the stove, got this,
- 26:06Speaker 2: gotta go here. He's your cow on sleeping here. I'm
- 26:09Speaker 2: hungry in here. I won't to sit down. As soon
- 26:12Speaker 2: as I sit down, my phone getting wrong again. Got it?
- 26:15Speaker 2: But you want some money, so.
- 26:18Speaker 1: You're doing You're doing your comedy. So before this comedy,
- 26:22Speaker 1: it was very clear though that this is the path
- 26:24Speaker 1: you are agreed with God to take. Okay, so you're
- 26:30Speaker 1: doing your comedy two years, still struggling. When's your first
- 26:33Speaker 1: real big break? By the way, you're still cooking? No
- 26:37Speaker 1: I have.
- 26:38Speaker 2: I had let it be.
- 26:40Speaker 1: I thought it was hot dog souper and.
- 26:42Speaker 2: I let it come down. But didn't need a little water.
- 26:46Speaker 1: And when you cook at home right.
- 26:50Speaker 2: Like this, when I cook, no I have. Yeah, I
- 26:54Speaker 2: can't cook. Once I did this, I feel like I
- 26:57Speaker 2: ain't learned nothing. Now what you got in, I ain't
- 27:03Speaker 2: did nothing. You gotta gotta meet it in, can't put
- 27:05Speaker 2: it all in that once. Just who are you?
- 27:08Speaker 1: I'm just I'm trying to I'm like watching. Let me
- 27:11Speaker 1: tell you something. When I was coming to Atlanta, all
- 27:13Speaker 1: I could think was, I can't wait to see d
- 27:16Speaker 1: C cook something you could ask Ryan, you can ask
- 27:18Speaker 1: anybody behind the scenes. I was like, I just want
- 27:21Speaker 1: to see.
- 27:21Speaker 2: D C cook with I ain't understand.
- 27:25Speaker 1: No, you do all the sound face. This is a
- 27:27Speaker 1: very special experience right there. That's what.
- 27:33Speaker 2: Yeah, they're gonna make a tape even in the mind.
- 27:41Speaker 1: So my question was, Okay, you're you made it. You
- 27:44Speaker 1: made it through your two years. What's your next big
- 27:47Speaker 1: break because you had a lot.
- 27:50Speaker 2: Well, I'm still working on it technically. The next year,
- 27:53Speaker 2: in twenty fifteen, I get booked for Wild I'm Out,
- 27:57Speaker 2: And then that was the the beginning of the industry break.
- 28:03Speaker 2: I had the social media break with Vine and Instagram.
- 28:07Speaker 2: But then now it's like the industry break.
- 28:09Speaker 1: It was like, now, did Nick reach out to you
- 28:14Speaker 1: or did you audition?
- 28:14Speaker 2: I was. I was on the management team at the
- 28:17Speaker 2: time called Archive Nation. We had young Thug and he
- 28:22Speaker 2: name with Hudson and you know what I'm saying that
- 28:23Speaker 2: it was a great management team at the time, and
- 28:26Speaker 2: they had e mail Hudson and he had an audition,
- 28:30Speaker 2: and just so happened that they knew that I was
- 28:34Speaker 2: around and was around with the same team, and it
- 28:36Speaker 2: was like, yeah, you know what I'm saying, we got
- 28:37Speaker 2: walk up audition too. So I ended up going to
- 28:39Speaker 2: do the audition and Nick was there and he was like, yeah,
- 28:41Speaker 2: I know you know what I'm saying. Let me see something.
- 28:43Speaker 2: Did Ship? He was like, all right, we'll do this.
- 28:45Speaker 2: Did Ship? It was like cool, I ain't hit nothing
- 28:48Speaker 2: from it hit him back, you know, I ain't think
- 28:50Speaker 2: I made it, but it was just the experience that
- 28:52Speaker 2: I was proud of. Like, damn, I just front cannon.
- 28:56Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying, This ship drawn shouting, you know.
- 29:01Speaker 2: And a couple of days later then I know you
- 29:04Speaker 2: had he got he had got flown out to go
- 29:06Speaker 2: start working and then they called like two days later.
- 29:09Speaker 2: We're like we're on DC too.
- 29:12Speaker 1: Ah, what was where were you at when you got
- 29:14Speaker 1: the call?
- 29:16Speaker 2: I was at the management office, and you know, it
- 29:18Speaker 2: had no settled in but it was just like, you know,
- 29:21Speaker 2: I got their hunger. I got their hunger, you know
- 29:23Speaker 2: from the streets that you know, you always want an opportunity,
- 29:26Speaker 2: and when you when you get the opportunity, like, man,
- 29:29Speaker 2: for sure, I'm just show out, you know what I'm saying,
- 29:31Speaker 2: Like I don't get fun for the show out. Whatever
- 29:35Speaker 2: I got due, I'm gonna show out. I'm gonna give
- 29:37Speaker 2: you my all. You know what I'm saying. Ain't learning
- 29:39Speaker 2: at the same time, But I know it's a reason
- 29:42Speaker 2: why you're there. So you got to know why you there.
- 29:44Speaker 2: You feel me, That's why I'm getting with people don't
- 29:46Speaker 2: want to be great, you know what I'm saying, Like
- 29:48Speaker 2: it's a certain energy that you got to put out
- 29:49Speaker 2: there to be Like, man, I want to do this
- 29:51Speaker 2: ship to last for a long time, you know what
- 29:53Speaker 2: I'm saying. And I ain't doing this ship because I
- 29:55Speaker 2: know I'm deserving. Man, ain't none of this ship belonged
- 29:58Speaker 2: to me or deserving. You don't deserve none of this shit.
- 30:00Speaker 2: You look around, the blessing not only on you anyway,
- 30:04Speaker 2: God blessing everybody that's around you. You had the only
- 30:06Speaker 2: want that work, you know what I'm saying. So it's
- 30:07Speaker 2: like you got to take your opportunity and go crazy
- 30:10Speaker 2: with it, you know what I'm saying, Because you know
- 30:12Speaker 2: what you would.
- 30:12Speaker 1: Just remember, Yeah, I did, Like Nigga, this is different.
- 30:17Speaker 2: Like you're literally living the new stages of your life.
- 30:22Speaker 2: But I'm not not used to it because I was
- 30:26Speaker 2: gonna be in entertainment because I come from theater and
- 30:29Speaker 2: I was gonna do music and act. It's it's just
- 30:33Speaker 2: the difference of the renaissance. Now, no, you're not doing
- 30:36Speaker 2: music first. No you're not gonna act. Just yeah, you're
- 30:39Speaker 2: gonna be a comedian.
- 30:41Speaker 1: So you're saying, like the order was, it was just
- 30:44Speaker 1: switch switched.
- 30:45Speaker 2: It was switched, and it was a new and it
- 30:47Speaker 2: was a new job description. You know what I'm saying.
- 30:50Speaker 2: I was funny. You were probably figured it out in
- 30:52Speaker 2: a movie or so. But I wasn't gonna be no
- 30:54Speaker 2: stand up comedian. You see what I'm saying. I probably
- 30:57Speaker 2: would have played a funny role in a movie. Well
- 31:00Speaker 2: you were like, well you funny, but I wouldn't have been.
- 31:04Speaker 1: Well, I'll tell you this. I admired that I did
- 31:07Speaker 1: not know that part of your story. But I admire
- 31:09Speaker 1: the fact that you did the work to do the
- 31:12Speaker 1: stand up comedian because you were like, hey, I gotta
- 31:14Speaker 1: do what I gotta do. Yeah, but that's usually you
- 31:19Speaker 1: meet comics and like someone in my group said I
- 31:20Speaker 1: was funny, and you know, I just.
- 31:22Speaker 2: I knew I was fun I got Claire clown in
- 31:25Speaker 2: twelfth grade at the same time while I'm sitting to
- 31:27Speaker 2: do so. It ain't a was always was a player,
- 31:31Speaker 2: client in a renaissance man in my school. It's just
- 31:33Speaker 2: the way my life turned back. I'm just you know,
- 31:36Speaker 2: it is what it is and what your environment.
- 31:38Speaker 1: What are your parents saying the whole time while all
- 31:40Speaker 1: this is going on.
- 31:41Speaker 2: I mean, my mama put it in god hand.
- 31:44Speaker 1: You keep referencing God like was God.
- 31:48Speaker 2: In my household? Yeah? Yeah, really, my dad was a past.
- 31:51Speaker 1: You know you're cooking for both of us.
- 31:53Speaker 2: You don't eat beef.
- 31:55Speaker 1: You gotta just give me.
- 31:56Speaker 2: Act like I'm giving it. Yes, all right, gotta get
- 31:59Speaker 2: her her death. I can't even be around it, but

- 35:00Speaker 1: You know what else? Did you know that they have
- 35:01Speaker 1: the strawberry flavor? A lot of people don't know that you.
- 35:04Speaker 2: Was one of them. You was one of them in
- 35:07Speaker 2: school getting strawberry milk.
- 35:09Speaker 1: You know, I just found out about it, like years ago.
- 35:11Speaker 2: Anybody who grabbed the strawberry milk in school, you are aggravating.
- 35:17Speaker 1: First of all, I always grabbed the chocolate, but I
- 35:19Speaker 1: just discovered. Yeah, and now that I am not broke anymore,
- 35:24Speaker 1: not that it makes a difference. I'm nest quick all day. Now,
- 35:28Speaker 1: that's quick is way better than you.
- 35:30Speaker 2: Who?
- 35:32Speaker 1: Did you know? You who's having no dry for real?
- 35:35Speaker 1: I think so? Actually I'm lying. I told someone that
- 35:37Speaker 1: that was on my show, and then they drank it,
- 35:40Speaker 1: and then I read later on the back kids said
- 35:42Speaker 1: like drive that why you got to do your own
- 35:45Speaker 1: You almost see pork and beets. I had to look
- 35:48Speaker 1: thank god. Okay, so you've been doing at this for
- 35:53Speaker 1: a while, so you get through the wilding out auditions.
- 35:57Speaker 1: What's your next play? And wait when you do your
- 36:00Speaker 1: first season? Are you making bread bread? Or are you
- 36:02Speaker 1: just happy that you made it to making money? Yeah?
- 36:06Speaker 2: What are you making money? Earl and by a struggles? Yeah,
- 36:12Speaker 2: that's why everybody don't make it in this in this industry,
- 36:15Speaker 2: it's a struggle for a wrong dad, that was your
- 36:21Speaker 2: generational thing that you're talking about. Yeah, it's a struggle. No, man,
- 36:26Speaker 2: you know what I'm saying. No, I didn't make no money.
- 36:29Speaker 2: I ain't made no money to later on in the industry.
- 36:32Speaker 2: When you say making money like you're able to pay
- 36:36Speaker 2: you know who you need to pay in?
- 36:38Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 36:38Speaker 1: Are you able to like self maintaining no side hustles? Yeah, no,
- 36:43Speaker 1: after walling out or a little after after welling out.
- 36:45Speaker 2: You know, if the Corp's gonna be your new hustle,
- 36:47Speaker 2: you gotta know how to perfect your new hustle.
- 36:50Speaker 4: Nice.
- 37:02Speaker 1: So there was something you mentioned earlier about like cleaning
- 37:05Speaker 1: up your Instagram to help market yourself better. What did
- 37:07Speaker 1: you mean by that?
- 37:09Speaker 2: Show the world what you want to want to know people?
- 37:13Speaker 2: A lot of people expecting people to know who you are.
- 37:15Speaker 2: Nobody know who you are or get.
- 37:17Speaker 1: Be fun people yeah, nobody cares.
- 37:22Speaker 2: After Nobody cares who you are in the industry, might
- 37:26Speaker 2: gives a fuck about what you do.
- 37:29Speaker 1: Nobody care what you mean.
- 37:31Speaker 2: Man, I don't care all that walking in. You know
- 37:33Speaker 2: who I am? What am I giving a fuck? Don't
- 37:38Speaker 2: scan nobody unless you scare somebody. But you're the only
- 37:41Speaker 2: motherfucker doing that. And you and you really too high?
- 37:45Speaker 2: You expensive. They can't wait to pay a motherfucker cheap price.
- 37:50Speaker 2: It's like selling dope. You walking in this motherfucker talking
- 37:53Speaker 2: about you, the nigga with all the dope and this
- 37:55Speaker 2: how high you is, and they like, but guess what,
- 37:57Speaker 2: it's nigga's buying a step down bullshit. So you can
- 38:02Speaker 2: get your ands up out of here because I can
- 38:06Speaker 2: make a proferencying this step down shit.
- 38:07Speaker 1: Yep, yep, I'm okay.
- 38:10Speaker 2: So that's why me selling dope gave me a business mind.
- 38:16Speaker 1: That was my h.
- 38:18Speaker 2: What do you call that, alley hoop beginner's class until
- 38:22Speaker 2: actually going to school for business. Because even when you
- 38:26Speaker 2: look at all like all the north Old's and all that,
- 38:28Speaker 2: I look at all that shit, they were great business man.
- 38:32Speaker 1: Mm hmm.
- 38:33Speaker 2: Your heart, your heart gotta be intact.
- 38:37Speaker 1: Okay, so you what is one of the most painful
- 38:40Speaker 1: lessons you learned in being in the industry?
- 38:43Speaker 2: Thus far painful lesson all less shit get to me. Uh,
- 38:48Speaker 2: you ain't got no friends, nobody cares who you are
- 38:51Speaker 2: and what you do.
- 38:54Speaker 1: That's what you learned in the industry. But now I
- 38:57Speaker 1: come to eighty five South, shoutouts to everything you guys
- 38:59Speaker 1: have felt here and there's so much love in this environment.
- 39:03Speaker 1: It's absolutely beautiful, especially coming from La because La we
- 39:08Speaker 1: don't First of all, there's no hospitality like what I've
- 39:12Speaker 1: experienced here at eighty five. Is that why you built this?
- 39:17Speaker 1: I would say this domain over here because you wanted
- 39:21Speaker 1: a safe haven. Because this doesn't feel like industry over here.
- 39:25Speaker 1: It feels like love and family.
- 39:26Speaker 2: It's very structured, but it's you know when when when
- 39:30Speaker 2: when God aligned you up with people, that's you know,
- 39:33Speaker 2: God fearing and really have a vision and trust people.
- 39:37Speaker 2: You know, you can really build anything. And I think
- 39:40Speaker 2: the infrastructure on building something or how it's to be done,
- 39:45Speaker 2: we really don't have no guide for it. You know
- 39:48Speaker 2: a lot of people think that, oh you know, Jake
- 39:51Speaker 2: three three real fabricateing shit, Like even you say how
- 39:57Speaker 2: long does it take for you to make money? Tell
- 39:58Speaker 2: you a long time to make some money and depending
- 40:00Speaker 2: on what you think is money.
- 40:02Speaker 1: Yeah, that was gonna be Also another question was like,
- 40:04Speaker 1: what did at least when you get that first check
- 40:06Speaker 1: from being broke, you were like, yo, there was had
- 40:10Speaker 1: to have been that moment of like, yeah, I just.
- 40:12Speaker 2: Knew what I was risking to get this money that
- 40:14Speaker 2: I ain't risking no more.
- 40:17Speaker 1: What do you mean are you comparing it to the drug?
- 40:19Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm just saying risking period. It was like, ooh
- 40:22Speaker 2: I got four thousand and I didn't have to risk
- 40:23Speaker 2: my life for it. You feel that's more motivation.
- 40:28Speaker 1: It was like I feel like that pre that your
- 40:33Speaker 1: life before is where you kind of hold that bar
- 40:36Speaker 1: of everything.
- 40:38Speaker 3: Is it?
- 40:38Speaker 2: Yes, that's that's how I that's my analogy for it all.
- 40:42Speaker 2: It's like, oh, this is the cocaine, this is the weed,
- 40:44Speaker 2: this is the plug, Oh, this is publicskbar, this is
- 40:48Speaker 2: you know what I'm saying, like everything has a you know,
- 40:51Speaker 2: an analogy for it because I know how serious it was, like,
- 40:56Speaker 2: don't put your name on bad dope. You want to
- 40:58Speaker 2: have an easy sit Okay, you know what to do?
- 41:00Speaker 2: Have a heart seal. Okay, you know when it's slow. Okay,
- 41:02Speaker 2: you know when it's feed up.
- 41:04Speaker 1: Okay, but that's your measuring tool.
- 41:05Speaker 2: That's my measuring tool and the business.
- 41:08Speaker 1: Yeah, but then you have this other measuring tool when
- 41:11Speaker 1: it comes to God and spiritually.
- 41:12Speaker 2: Yeah, so you can always have a great heart and
- 41:15Speaker 2: great character so you won't become wicked in the world.
- 41:19Speaker 2: Because but I'm also thankful that I'm not in the
- 41:22Speaker 2: streets because I'd have been a very not likable person. Okay,
- 41:27Speaker 2: you know what I'm saying, Like y'all know me, And
- 41:29Speaker 2: then it's crazy because like even when in high school,
- 41:31Speaker 2: you see me, I'm winning class, clown and all that.
- 41:34Speaker 2: But it's like my friends know me for that. My
- 41:36Speaker 2: peers may have seen me in there. You know, you
- 41:38Speaker 2: know me for that. But if I don't know, you
- 41:40Speaker 2: ain't speaking. I ain't really you know, I ain't really.
- 41:42Speaker 2: I'm not really a friendly person, you know, I'm not
- 41:45Speaker 2: like he hare No, no, no, I'm not just attracting
- 41:48Speaker 2: energy that I don't know. I don't really don't want
- 41:51Speaker 2: to be involved. I really don't want to have a conversation.
- 41:54Speaker 1: Well, I appreciate you taking the time to do this show.
- 41:56Speaker 2: No, definitely, I appreciate you. Man, you've seen this great meal.
- 42:00Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying. I made a mess your
- 42:01Speaker 2: shit so clean over there?
- 42:03Speaker 1: Yeah, thank god I didn't take the bite of the beef.
- 42:07Speaker 1: Do you want my little beef piece? I'm already even
- 42:11Speaker 1: know what you stay loving that season?
- 42:15Speaker 2: That's right now?
- 42:16Speaker 1: During the pandemic, yeah, ain't nobody to go to work?
- 42:20Speaker 1: How you how did you get by? You had the
- 42:22Speaker 1: money from Wall God, I ain't had no damn money
- 42:26Speaker 1: during the pandemic. I ain't had no money. That was
- 42:29Speaker 1: a couple of years ago. So what happened? What do
- 42:33Speaker 1: you mean you didn't have any money during it?
- 42:35Speaker 2: I ain't no money. Now you know what you got by?
- 42:40Speaker 2: You know you know how to live. We know how
- 42:43Speaker 2: to live by. It means you know what I'm saying,
- 42:45Speaker 2: I know what I need. I know how much to eat.
- 42:47Speaker 1: Did you build this infrastructure during the pandemic or was
- 42:50Speaker 1: it in process prior to this?
- 42:52Speaker 2: Right here is a collective of people created. We did
- 42:58Speaker 2: it to be in this way like everybody.
- 42:59Speaker 1: Else do where are you doing this during the pandemic
- 43:02Speaker 1: or prior to the pandemic?
- 43:05Speaker 2: What you just said twenty four.
- 43:09Speaker 1: You're looking to Ryan for the answer. Ryan, what's the answer?
- 43:11Speaker 2: No, mm hmmm, probably like towards the end, man like one,
- 43:19Speaker 2: because the pandemic was a long time. The people depending
- 43:21Speaker 2: on how long your pandemic was my pandemic. I ain't
- 43:24Speaker 2: had no pandemic.
- 43:25Speaker 1: Well, I guess in Atlanta, apparently you guys were only
- 43:27Speaker 1: shut down for three weeks. Up here, we were shut
- 43:29Speaker 1: down for eight months, eight months. How was LA shut down?
- 43:33Speaker 2: I mean, you're talking about nightlife, you're talking about See
- 43:35Speaker 2: I'm a business man.
- 43:36Speaker 1: I'm not saying during the day, LA was okay, No,
- 43:40Speaker 1: eight months we shut.
- 43:41Speaker 2: Down in Atlanta before we even went back to work again.
- 43:44Speaker 2: I remember the day we was at work and they
- 43:46Speaker 2: told us the whole type they sending people home like
- 43:48Speaker 2: we're in a rental and sold that twenty thousands teeth
- 43:50Speaker 2: seat said while not they sent it twenty thousand people
- 43:53Speaker 2: home because they just did a mandate. Told him for hey, man,
- 43:56Speaker 2: y'all get up out of here. No coming like literally
- 44:01Speaker 2: like it was a world shut down. They saying no,
- 44:03Speaker 2: no gathering over five hundred people. If you got anything, man,
- 44:07Speaker 2: that shit is man your ass. Damn nobody committal failing
- 44:11Speaker 2: the crime, like we're having a world crisis. Shit, that
- 44:15Speaker 2: ship down. It's twenty thousand people in Baltimore coming to
- 44:19Speaker 2: the show and them folks being turned around because we
- 44:21Speaker 2: just did the show and watched the DC the day before.
- 44:24Speaker 2: Fifteen times. I remember that like it was yesterday. We
- 44:26Speaker 2: all sitting down there in the arena, like, what the
- 44:30Speaker 2: fuck is going on? This shit got to be fake?
- 44:34Speaker 2: That shit was real eight months.
- 44:36Speaker 1: That shit eight months. So now you are DC, DC
- 44:42Speaker 1: the most popping every you see the Mosquito fly, Yeah, DC,
- 44:46Speaker 1: the Mosquito fly. And uh where what do you have
- 44:50Speaker 1: ironed out for your future?
- 44:52Speaker 2: I mean, you know, I just want to be an
- 44:53Speaker 2: executive man, you know what I'm saying, Like looking at
- 44:55Speaker 2: the people like, uh, you know, like Mario Van People's
- 45:03Speaker 2: what's what's it called? Will be at the Knicks games man,
- 45:07Speaker 2: Spike Lee, you know what I'm saying, Like, you want
- 45:09Speaker 2: to just be mobiles in the culture for helping others.
- 45:17Speaker 2: You know, I think a lot of people like put
- 45:19Speaker 2: me on, and you're like, bro, first of all, you
- 45:21Speaker 2: ask somebody to put you somewhere where you don't even
- 45:25Speaker 2: know where you want to go? All right, and he's
- 45:29Speaker 2: using his face card, his pool. And when you're doing
- 45:33Speaker 2: it as a team, you have to win as a team.
- 45:35Speaker 2: When one person fucks up, it's you fuck your recruiter.
- 45:41Speaker 2: That why people don't even know how business it's worked.
- 45:44Speaker 2: Like it's a business. That's why I would I love
- 45:47Speaker 2: being I want to go to school for bedding. Like
- 45:48Speaker 2: I just I'm just so in trigue, like this is
- 45:51Speaker 2: a business. We build this shit from ground up. I
- 45:53Speaker 2: love it from dirt, from clay, and then look, you
- 45:56Speaker 2: know what I'm saying. So it's like every time I
- 45:57Speaker 2: come in here, I'm like, bro, we can do anything.
- 45:59Speaker 2: We put out fucking mine too.
- 46:01Speaker 1: It's just, you know, was this building just a lot?
- 46:04Speaker 2: It was nothing. It was a building, but it wasn't
- 46:06Speaker 2: this infrastructure. When in it, it was like it was
- 46:09Speaker 2: open every wall, every car.
- 46:13Speaker 1: I mean, you guys went into the back. I love
- 46:15Speaker 1: the bathroom, painted floors.
- 46:17Speaker 2: I was like, rying, freaking ass anything you're going to
- 46:25Speaker 2: the didn't heard to get the about their bathroom, man,
- 46:29Speaker 2: But it was.
- 46:30Speaker 1: Like the touch of the detail around here is pretty impressive.
- 46:32Speaker 2: Yeah, you know everybody had that little detail you know
- 46:34Speaker 2: around won't do the bathroom. So we gave it to him.
- 46:41Speaker 1: I am a little confused. How you guys have a
- 46:43Speaker 1: dish washing head that has never been used, but you
- 46:46Speaker 1: know it's safe to see.
- 46:48Speaker 2: Man, get the round here. I think we got washing
- 46:53Speaker 2: at the house. You don't want to ever wash your clues,
- 46:55Speaker 2: no dishwashers to take it. I don't think a lot
- 47:01Speaker 2: of people use the dish wash.
- 47:03Speaker 1: Let me tell you.
- 47:03Speaker 2: In the last three days, it's like you're walking in
- 47:06Speaker 2: the dish's dirty.
- 47:09Speaker 1: Let me just tell you something right now. Okay, yes, dude,
- 47:13Speaker 1: it works. It's not like back in the day when
- 47:15Speaker 1: they didn't work. Plus they have like these special pods
- 47:17Speaker 1: that like make it all spot more.
- 47:19Speaker 2: Where I come from, you had a dish washing it
- 47:21Speaker 2: didn't work. It may have cut on yeah, yeah, if
- 47:25Speaker 2: you couldn't a bit on hicc on the water leak.
- 47:29Speaker 1: Let me tell you something. My breaks is immediate emergency
- 47:32Speaker 1: like dirty, especially when nails.
- 47:37Speaker 2: Like you know, I think you want to sit it
- 47:40Speaker 2: in and prints play.
- 47:43Speaker 1: I do it like rents and like you know, make
- 47:44Speaker 1: sure the food's off and all that, you know, if
- 47:47Speaker 1: there's anything.
- 47:47Speaker 2: I think that's what my mama forgot when we got
- 47:49Speaker 2: our dish washer. She forgot the rich the food. Yeah,
- 47:52Speaker 2: and then you're supposed to she put it in there.
- 47:53Speaker 2: It's soap still dried, soup is beginning.
- 47:57Speaker 1: No, you're not supposed to do that. That's how they
- 47:59Speaker 1: break too. Yeah, and you want to know another secret?
- 48:03Speaker 1: That so random kind of some of the beech thing is, uh,
- 48:08Speaker 1: a lot of people don't know how to load a
- 48:09Speaker 1: dishwasher correctly.
- 48:11Speaker 5: I was just going to say that, like you go, yeah,
- 48:15Speaker 5: go on YouTube and learn how to load. It's behind
- 48:19Speaker 5: the dishwasher up. Now you got to take the rank
- 48:22Speaker 5: out like.
- 48:24Speaker 1: A lot of people don't know how to load a dishwasher.
- 48:26Speaker 1: And I learned that if you load it correctly, it
- 48:28Speaker 1: also helps clean the dishes properly.

- 49:41Speaker 2: just realizing that this what I'm supposed to be doing.
- 49:44Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying. I think that's the biggest
- 49:45Speaker 2: highlight of it all. Like confidently knowing that God got
- 49:51Speaker 2: my back. You know what I'm saying, You got my
- 49:52Speaker 2: friends back. You know what I'm saying. You're gonna always
- 49:55Speaker 2: go through stuff, but as long as you just stay
- 49:57Speaker 2: righteous in your spirit, don't break. You know, we here human, bro,
- 50:00Speaker 2: you know what I'm saying. That's why I'm glad I

- 50:18Speaker 2: to react off impost impulsively, probably won't like me.
- 50:23Speaker 1: Yeah, if you have to choose between being an executive
- 50:26Speaker 1: and talent, would you give up being talent to be executive?

- 50:33Speaker 1: but I'm saying if you had to choose between the two.

- 50:39Speaker 2: in order for you to take control of your business,
- 50:42Speaker 2: you have to become an executive. You know, and I
- 50:44Speaker 2: think a lot of talent just focus on being talent
- 50:47Speaker 2: and thinking talent as all. I just told you, don't

- 51:17Speaker 2: I want to come in this bitch from eight to
- 51:19Speaker 2: eight to seven.
- 51:22Speaker 1: I like that.

- 52:23Speaker 2: to Mario van Peoples for allowing me to have that experience,
- 52:26Speaker 2: because that's a that's one of those ones that don't
- 52:29Speaker 2: come by often, you know, and that's a sign to say,
- 52:34Speaker 2: not only was I actor, I also had I also
