- 0:00Speaker 1: So now that the NBA Draft combine is over, let's
- 0:02Speaker 1: do a post draft combine twenty twenty six NBA mock Draft.
- 0:06Speaker 1: This is NBA Draft Board powered by aws AWSAI is
- 0:11Speaker 1: how the NBA brings fans inside the game. So it
- 0:13Speaker 1: was still a little bit of a shocker when the
- 0:15Speaker 1: Washington Wizards won the draft lottery. It was the first
- 0:17Speaker 1: time since the new lotteryons in twenty nineteen that the
- 0:20Speaker 1: team with the worst record actually got the number one
- 0:22Speaker 1: overall pick. And I think everything we learned after the
- 0:25Speaker 1: draft combine is still going to imply that Ajdabonsa is
- 0:28Speaker 1: going to be the number one overall pick to the
- 0:30Speaker 1: Washington Wizards. He measured out extremely well for somebody that
- 0:33Speaker 1: you want at the modern day NBA size at the
- 0:36Speaker 1: wing position. He's an athletic free kid, one of the
- 0:38Speaker 1: highest max of vertical jumps at the combine as well.
- 0:42Speaker 1: And this is just what Washington needs. They need that
- 0:44Speaker 1: young franchise star to build this team around. And here
- 0:47Speaker 1: you could see where Aj Debonsa measured out with the
- 0:50Speaker 1: standing vertical leap and his height. He measured out, like
- 0:52Speaker 1: I said, extremely well, which he can utimize at the
- 0:55Speaker 1: next level. To finish around the rim score over taller
- 0:58Speaker 1: defenders if he's going up against somebody like Wemby or
- 1:00Speaker 1: Chad Holmgren, some centers that are playing in the conference finals.
- 1:03Speaker 1: And then the second overall pick was the Utah Jazz.
- 1:06Speaker 1: They're in that weird spot right now because we know
- 1:08Speaker 1: that they want Age Devonsa, but they're going to get
- 1:10Speaker 1: a really good number two overall player in this class.
- 1:12Speaker 1: In my opinion, Darren Peterson actually think Darren Peterson might
- 1:15Speaker 1: be a better fit for this constructed Jazz roster than
- 1:18Speaker 1: aj Debonsa because you have your red ball id or
- 1:20Speaker 1: in your backward right now in Keyante George after his
- 1:23Speaker 1: breakout twenty twenty six season, but you need somebody that
- 1:26Speaker 1: can help him out defensively at the two guard spot,
- 1:28Speaker 1: and that's exactly.
- 1:29Speaker 2: Where Darren Peterson fits in.
- 1:31Speaker 1: Like Washington, they made a big splash at the trade
- 1:33Speaker 1: deadmine when they acquired Jared Jackson junior.
- 1:35Speaker 2: They're going to bring back.
- 1:36Speaker 1: Walker Kessler in restricted free agency, and Darren Peterson can
- 1:39Speaker 1: also be somebody with all star, maybe all NBA potential
- 1:42Speaker 1: at the next level, which now leads Memphis here at
- 1:45Speaker 1: number three, and I think they just get an easy decision.
- 1:47Speaker 2: At this spot.
- 1:48Speaker 1: Memphis has been historically an analytical driven organization, and they're
- 1:52Speaker 1: going to take that analytical data. Darlang from this past season,
- 1:55Speaker 1: Cam Boozer, he was the best player in all college basketball.
- 1:57Speaker 1: He was more productive this past season than AJ Debonsa
- 2:00Speaker 1: and Darren Peederson on the surface level. And when we're
- 2:03Speaker 1: talking about upside of potential and who could be that
- 2:05Speaker 1: outfu in a playoff series, I like the aforementioned AJ
- 2:08Speaker 1: and Peterson a little bit more than Boozer. But Boozer
- 2:10Speaker 1: measures out extremely well at his size, He moves extremely well,
- 2:14Speaker 1: and he also has great court vision and great basketball IQ.
- 2:17Speaker 1: Any somebody that could be that offensive hub for you
- 2:19Speaker 1: in the half court. So then that leaves the Chicago
- 2:21Speaker 1: Bulls here at number four. I also think they would
- 2:23Speaker 1: have an easy decision to make at this point.
- 2:25Speaker 2: They could take kill Wilson.
- 2:26Speaker 1: Chicago ended up getting lucky in the lottery to jump
- 2:29Speaker 1: into that top four, and they're in this complete rebuild
- 2:32Speaker 1: right now. It's going to be new head coach next year,
- 2:34Speaker 1: a new general manager, and now you have Kio Wilson
- 2:36Speaker 1: with Matsis Bozellis as a formidable wing duo for a
- 2:40Speaker 1: long time. And here looking at the combines snats powered
- 2:43Speaker 1: by aws, you could see that Killo Wilson measured out
- 2:45Speaker 1: extremely well. He to a thirty nine and a half
- 2:47Speaker 1: inch max vertical leave, a thirty four and a half
- 2:49Speaker 1: inch standing vertical lead, a seven foot plus wingspan. He's
- 2:52Speaker 1: six foot nine and a quarter without shoes, and this
- 2:56Speaker 1: is going to be an athletic freak. And then at
- 2:58Speaker 1: number five, I think this actually changed escally throughout the combine.
- 3:01Speaker 1: I believe this would be Darius A Cuff right now.
- 3:03Speaker 1: It's a talent driven league. You gotta take best player
- 3:05Speaker 1: available over fit, especially if you're the Clippers. Right now,
- 3:08Speaker 1: it was one of Coach Cow's greatest seasons from a
- 3:11Speaker 1: freshman guard which has an unreal lineage of guys like
- 3:15Speaker 1: Devin Booker, John Wall, Derek Rose, even Shaye Godis, Alexander
- 3:19Speaker 1: and A Cuff performed just as well, if not better
- 3:22Speaker 1: than those guys, leading Arkansas to an SEC championship game
- 3:26Speaker 1: and title. And here's a Cuff's aws dash forward from
- 3:30Speaker 1: what he did at the combine. And what was so
- 3:32Speaker 1: impressive was this three quarter court sprint I joked about
- 3:35Speaker 1: before that.
- 3:35Speaker 2: I think he could be like an all pro corner.
- 3:37Speaker 1: In a different lifetime because he's extremely physical, he's stocky,
- 3:40Speaker 1: and he moves.
- 3:41Speaker 2: So so well. So here at number six, Brooklyn's got
- 3:43Speaker 2: to take a.
- 3:44Speaker 1: High upside swing, and I believe that can be Keaton Wogor,
- 3:46Speaker 1: the combo guard from Illinois. Brooklyn does not own their
- 3:49Speaker 1: first round pick directly in twenty twenty seven. They fell
- 3:52Speaker 1: on the day of the lottery, but I think Wogar
- 3:54Speaker 1: does have that Halliburton shake. Gotis Alexander light tendencies from
- 3:58Speaker 1: what we saw from those guys in college for this
- 4:00Speaker 1: past year. From Keidan wag Or, he's got a great
- 4:02Speaker 1: mid range pull up jumper. He's not the most athletic
- 4:04Speaker 1: guy in the world, but he could just get it done.
- 4:06Speaker 1: He's got tremendous footwork. But if Keta Woggler can hit
- 4:09Speaker 1: his ceiling, this could end up being the steal of
- 4:10Speaker 1: the draft and then Sacramento.
- 4:12Speaker 2: Here at number seven, I believe it would go mckl
- 4:14Speaker 2: brown junior.
- 4:14Speaker 1: They drafted Tyres Halberd and Darren Fox within the last decade.
- 4:18Speaker 2: Both those guys are no longer there.
- 4:19Speaker 1: They are looking for their franchise guard, and I also
- 4:22Speaker 1: believe Mickel Brown Junior slides a little bit because of
- 4:24Speaker 1: the production he maybe didn't show with this past year
- 4:27Speaker 1: at what we Go when he was projected to be
- 4:29Speaker 1: a top five pick going into the season, but he
- 4:31Speaker 1: had just a nagging back issue throughout his freshman year
- 4:34Speaker 1: which was going to affect his play in the ACC.
- 4:37Speaker 2: So here at number eight.
- 4:38Speaker 1: I think this one was drastically affected from the draft
- 4:40Speaker 1: combine where I had them selecting a day Mara the
- 4:43Speaker 1: center out of Michigan. We saw Atlanta kind of struggle
- 4:45Speaker 1: with their rimp protection in the playoffs. I think Onkakungu
- 4:48Speaker 1: is a great offensive big man, but defense it leaves
- 4:51Speaker 1: a little bit to be desired, so they can go
- 4:53Speaker 1: with somebody that tested out extremely well. It was just
- 4:56Speaker 1: uber impressive at the combine at daymaras somebody that could
- 4:59Speaker 1: be a Rocks out rint protector for this team. Now
- 5:01Speaker 1: it's time for the Prospect Profile of the Week powered
- 5:04Speaker 1: by AWS, and this is what I mean when Ademar
- 5:07Speaker 1: just tested out extremely impressive. He was seven foot three
- 5:11Speaker 1: without shoes. He was somebody that had a nine foot
- 5:14Speaker 1: nine standing reach, which was actually tied with Mark Williams
- 5:17Speaker 1: and tackle fall for the longest standing reach in NBA
- 5:21Speaker 1: combined measurement history two hundred and sixty pounds a seven
- 5:25Speaker 1: foot six wingspan. This is somebody you want anchoring your
- 5:28Speaker 1: pain in the modern game. And this just goes to
- 5:30Speaker 1: show you in perspective here in the AWS dashboard where
- 5:33Speaker 1: Demara is up here in the top right, when you
- 5:36Speaker 1: look at a standing reach and his shuttle run, he
- 5:38Speaker 1: moved extremely well for somebody at his size, and I
- 5:41Speaker 1: think this skyrocketed his draft stock where now he's going
- 5:44Speaker 1: to be a top ten pick, and I just love
- 5:46Speaker 1: the fit at number eight to Atlanta.
- 5:47Speaker 2: So at number nine, Dallas may get the steel of
- 5:49Speaker 2: the draft. They're able to.
- 5:50Speaker 1: Land Kingston Flemings, the guard out of Houston who shot
- 5:53Speaker 1: the ball extremely well at the Combine, which was not
- 5:56Speaker 1: too shocking because he shot the ball extremely well this
- 5:59Speaker 1: past year at Huston, and he's somebody that you could
- 6:01Speaker 1: actually play right away with Kyrie Irving in that backhourd
- 6:04Speaker 1: he can actually help him out a little bit defensively. Obviously,
- 6:06Speaker 1: Kelvin Sampson at Houston installs these great defensive mindsets in
- 6:10Speaker 1: these young guards, and that could be the exact thing
- 6:13Speaker 1: that Kingston Flemings can bring to Dallas something they need
- 6:15Speaker 1: next to Cooper Flag, which then leaves a wild card
- 6:18Speaker 1: at number ten. Everything I was hearing throughout the combine
- 6:20Speaker 1: the Bucks really like Nate amend who has all the
- 6:23Speaker 1: potential in the world six foot ten at Tennessee.
- 6:26Speaker 2: He had a late.
- 6:27Speaker 1: Growth spurt in high school where he was supposed to
- 6:29Speaker 1: be a guard to Tennessee and that completely changed. And
- 6:31Speaker 1: this is somebody that is that high risk, high reward
- 6:35Speaker 1: prospect for Milwaukee.
- 6:36Speaker 2: John Horst likes to do it.
- 6:37Speaker 1: He did this in the past with Marjon Bouchamp and
- 6:39Speaker 1: aj Johnson in round number one when there were other
- 6:42Speaker 1: guys that were maybe safer prospects at the time. But
- 6:45Speaker 1: a mean if he can hit his potential, could actually
- 6:47Speaker 1: be somewhat of a shock creator, which then leads one
- 6:49Speaker 1: of my favorite fits in this mock draft, Brandon Burry's
- 6:52Speaker 1: to the Warriors number eleven. Now, they don't really need
- 6:54Speaker 1: another guard at the moment because of Steph Curry and
- 6:57Speaker 1: Brenda Pojempsky and some others, but you can not pass
- 6:59Speaker 1: up on this talent here at number eleven. Somebody that
- 7:01Speaker 1: could be a great role player for you right away.
- 7:04Speaker 1: As you're trying to maximize this window around Steph Draymond
- 7:07Speaker 1: and a returning Jimmy Butler. Braden Burry shot the ball
- 7:10Speaker 1: extremely well at the Combine. He was also a good
- 7:12Speaker 1: shooter this past year at Arizona. He knows his role
- 7:15Speaker 1: and could be that ultimate glue guy right away.
- 7:17Speaker 2: And hey, who is.
- 7:18Speaker 1: Better to mentor you than Steph Curry over there in
- 7:21Speaker 1: Golden State. And then you hope maybe Bury's and Ponds
- 7:23Speaker 1: is your long term backcourt after Steph retires, and maybe
- 7:26Speaker 1: the biggest combine winner, Cam car I've been going number
- 7:29Speaker 1: twelve here to the Oklahoma City Thunder. Actually sat next
- 7:32Speaker 1: to Sam Presty during the first combine scrimmage game where
- 7:35Speaker 1: Campcarr ended up exploding for about thirty points. He looked
- 7:39Speaker 1: just so calm, cool and collective out there. He was
- 7:41Speaker 1: able to create space, create separation. He had a great
- 7:44Speaker 1: first step and also showcases his athleticism with a couple
- 7:47Speaker 1: of transition dunks with his plus wingspan two I think
- 7:50Speaker 1: this is everything you want in a modern wing that
- 7:53Speaker 1: you can get at the end of the lottery. It's
- 7:54Speaker 1: not the strongest wing class here at the top. After
- 7:57Speaker 1: aj debansa where I do think now can.
- 8:00Speaker 2: Car is a lottery pick.
- 8:01Speaker 1: Now Here on the AWS dashboard, you could see that
- 8:04Speaker 1: this is everything you want in that combine Riser and
- 8:06Speaker 1: believe cam Kark could be.
- 8:07Speaker 2: The steal of the draft, and who else but OKC
- 8:09Speaker 2: selects him.
- 8:10Speaker 1: So at thirteen, Miami's going to take le Barron Filon,
- 8:12Speaker 1: the shifty guard out of Alabama. Fileon was actually going
- 8:15Speaker 1: to be in the twenty twenty five draft, maybe as
- 8:17Speaker 1: a late first rounder early second. He goes back to
- 8:20Speaker 1: school and he just shoots the ball lights out. This
- 8:22Speaker 1: past year for the Crimson Tidy improved his three point
- 8:24Speaker 1: percentage by seven plus percentage points. He looked so comfortable
- 8:28Speaker 1: with the ball in his hands, like initiating that offense
- 8:30Speaker 1: in that Alabama backcourt. And I think Filon could be
- 8:33Speaker 1: one of the best offensive players from this draft as well.
- 8:36Speaker 1: And hey, he's getting coached by Eric Spolstra. I like
- 8:38Speaker 1: this pick even more so. At fourteen, we have Charlotte
- 8:40Speaker 1: getting Jackson Lendenburgh, somebody that they could definitely use in
- 8:43Speaker 1: that front court, just another physical body down low, but
- 8:46Speaker 1: can also space the four. I don't really love their
- 8:49Speaker 1: wing rotation or at least depth long term with Josh Green,
- 8:53Speaker 1: Grant Williams T Johnson line, where Lennenberg on the older
- 8:56Speaker 1: side can impact the Hornets right away. This was a
- 8:58Speaker 1: team that almost made the playoffs year. They were a
- 9:00Speaker 1: breakout team in the twenty twenty six season, and they
- 9:02Speaker 1: want to make the playoffs in twenty twenty seven and
- 9:04Speaker 1: Lindenbergh can definitely help them right away, just physical down low,
- 9:08Speaker 1: can run the pick and roll with meamelvo Ball. It
- 9:11Speaker 1: can maybe be that Miles Bridge's replacement one day if
- 9:13Speaker 1: they need him to be so. At fifteen, Chicago is
- 9:16Speaker 1: just rounding out this so exciting of a front court
- 9:19Speaker 1: between these prospects of kill Bulson at number four, Jade
- 9:21Speaker 1: and Quaintance at fifteen, who I think could have been
- 9:23Speaker 1: a consensus top ten pick if he was healthy this
- 9:26Speaker 1: past year for Kentucky. If you watch his tape at
- 9:28Speaker 1: Arizona State, this could be the best rent protector and
- 9:31Speaker 1: the best overall defender in this class for what he
- 9:33Speaker 1: could do on the perimeter as a defender. Poe's defender,
- 9:36Speaker 1: Rent protector help defender, and Chicago needs that.
- 9:39Speaker 2: They traded a wind to Kolobuchovic at the deadline.
- 9:41Speaker 1: They need that long term five and let's preach defense
- 9:44Speaker 1: under their new regime. With kill Wilson at four and
- 9:47Speaker 1: Jade and Queenance at fifteen, it's hard not to get
- 9:49Speaker 1: excited about that. In Chicago, another player that had a
- 9:51Speaker 1: nice combine Chris Sinak out of Houston, where I think
- 9:54Speaker 1: we're going to see multiple Houston Cougar's go in round
- 9:56Speaker 1: number one.
- 9:57Speaker 2: Snack bulked up. He had a great motor this at Houston.
- 10:01Speaker 1: He was a great offensive remounder, and he could showcase
- 10:03Speaker 1: some force basing ability. He's almost seven foot tall, which
- 10:05Speaker 1: shoes as well, and Memphis could now deploy him in
- 10:08Speaker 1: that front court with Cam Boozer. There's definitely some injury
- 10:11Speaker 1: concerns with zach Adye long term. Who knows if Santel
- 10:14Speaker 1: Domin's gonna be on this team for a few years.
- 10:16Speaker 1: They traded away Jared Jackson junior. Well, there you go,
- 10:18Speaker 1: Chris Sanak and Cam Boozer. It's some nice youth in
- 10:21Speaker 1: that Memphis front court now. And then at number seventeen,
- 10:23Speaker 1: Sam Presty is getting another combine. Riser Morris Johnson, the
- 10:27Speaker 1: big man from Michigan. Yeah, Michigan is gonna have multiple
- 10:30Speaker 1: players go in the top twenty. And Johnson tested out
- 10:33Speaker 1: maybe better than anybody at the combine with his speed,
- 10:36Speaker 1: his vertical leap, his physicality, and this is exactly what
- 10:39Speaker 1: you want. If you already have that force facing five
- 10:41Speaker 1: like the thunderdo in chat Mahomegren, you can get somebody
- 10:44Speaker 1: that could just be a little bit better of a
- 10:45Speaker 1: defensive offensive remounder at the four spot, somebody that's going
- 10:48Speaker 1: to run extremely well baseline the baseline, and he's just
- 10:51Speaker 1: super physical, super imposing, and this would just be a
- 10:54Speaker 1: home run draft for Sam Presty Camcar at twelve and
- 10:57Speaker 1: Morris Johnson at seventeen, and then here on the AWS dashboard,
- 11:01Speaker 1: I could show you that Morris Johnson a seven foot
- 11:04Speaker 1: three and a half wing span, He had a thirty
- 11:06Speaker 1: nine inch max vertical leave.
- 11:08Speaker 2: The Wayne agility was one of the best in this class.
- 11:10Speaker 2: And he's somebody that's six foot.
- 11:12Speaker 1: Nine without choose, and he was quicker than a lot
- 11:14Speaker 1: of other guys that are five six inches shorter than him.
- 11:17Speaker 1: This is an athletic freak and I think Sam Presti
- 11:20Speaker 1: would love that here at seventeen and then with a
- 11:22Speaker 1: little bit of a run on centers Charlotte is going
- 11:24Speaker 1: to take another one here at eighteen. They're gonna get
- 11:26Speaker 1: Hans Steinbach from Washington, one of the best rebounders in
- 11:29Speaker 1: this class. He actually could space the four maybe unlike
- 11:31Speaker 1: a Morris Johnson or a Jaden quaintance, and that's what
- 11:34Speaker 1: Charlotte needs. I don't think you're fully sold on Musa
- 11:37Speaker 1: Diabade or Ryan callfrienders outside Seohn, but Steinbach can give
- 11:40Speaker 1: you that added bonus at the five spot if Charlotte,
- 11:43Speaker 1: who likes to take a lot of threes, wants a
- 11:45Speaker 1: four spacing five out there. Another team that desperately needs
- 11:48Speaker 1: shooting the Toronto Raptors.
- 11:50Speaker 2: They were one of the worst three point shooting.
- 11:52Speaker 1: Teams at time this past season, so they can get
- 11:54Speaker 1: one of the best shooters, maybe the best shooter in
- 11:56Speaker 1: the draft in Christian Anderson, who shot the ball lights
- 11:58Speaker 1: out this past year at Texas Tack. He rose to
- 12:00Speaker 1: the occasion when his star teammate JT. Top And went
- 12:03Speaker 1: down with the ACL injury. And Anderson could actually be
- 12:06Speaker 1: a rotational guard for the Raptors right away at nineteen.
- 12:09Speaker 1: Emmanuel Quickly's kind of been banged up during his time
- 12:11Speaker 1: in Toronto.
- 12:12Speaker 2: It gives them some insurance there.
- 12:14Speaker 1: And then one of my favorite fits here outside the lottery,
- 12:16Speaker 1: Karim Mopez going to the San Antonio Spurs at number twenty.
- 12:19Speaker 2: I feel like he's got.
- 12:20Speaker 1: A decent range here where he could end up going
- 12:23Speaker 1: as high as maybe ten to Milwaukee, but this is
- 12:25Speaker 1: probably where his flour is going to be here at
- 12:28Speaker 1: number twenty to San Antonio.
- 12:29Speaker 2: He definitely needs to work on his defense.
- 12:30Speaker 1: It got better throughout this past year for the New
- 12:33Speaker 1: Zealand Breakers, but if this man could just end up
- 12:35Speaker 1: being a forty percent or close to a three point
- 12:37Speaker 1: shooter at the next level on just you know what,
- 12:40Speaker 1: three threes a night next to Wenby, where you're going
- 12:42Speaker 1: to get some really good open looks. This is going
- 12:44Speaker 1: to be a home run pick for the Spurs front office,
- 12:46Speaker 1: and they've been a very good drafting team as a
- 12:48Speaker 1: late I feel Detroit needs another ball handler and that's
- 12:50Speaker 1: where they're going to get a great one here at
- 12:52Speaker 1: twenty one.
- 12:52Speaker 2: Bennett's starts out of Iowa.
- 12:54Speaker 1: Stirts can kind of control that second unit and I
- 12:56Speaker 1: think could make it a little bit more grounded than
- 12:58Speaker 1: Dennis Jenkins, who likes to be that up tempo guy.
- 13:00Speaker 1: And Starts can just slow it down, get everybody in
- 13:03Speaker 1: their sponsor where Detroit can actually relax when Kate Cunningham
- 13:06Speaker 1: is on the bench. We saw them over tax Kate
- 13:08Speaker 1: in the playoffs. He had to play it felt like
- 13:10Speaker 1: every single second for this offense to just be somewhat effective.
- 13:14Speaker 1: And now you can maybe have Kate on that bench
- 13:16Speaker 1: where you can have Bennett Starts run that second unit
- 13:18Speaker 1: because he's NBA ready with his age and experience.
- 13:21Speaker 2: The Sixers take a home run swing here at twenty two.
- 13:23Speaker 1: They still let Coopede, who definitely has some concerns with
- 13:25Speaker 1: his outside sean and that's what's causing him to drop
- 13:29Speaker 1: in this post combined mock. But he's extremely physical. He
- 13:31Speaker 1: could finish around the rim. He has that elbow jumper
- 13:34Speaker 1: something and Beid can also mentor him with. Because Embiid
- 13:36Speaker 1: has that great elbow jumper, he could definitely be a
- 13:39Speaker 1: physical defender and that's what Philadelphia needs. I believe that
- 13:42Speaker 1: they should go in that front court and try to
- 13:44Speaker 1: find that long term power forward next to Embiid. I
- 13:47Speaker 1: went big at number eight for Atlanta with Ademara. I
- 13:50Speaker 1: think they could take a guard here at twenty three
- 13:52Speaker 1: Abuca Corier out of Stanford. He was a dynamite offensive
- 13:55Speaker 1: weapon for the Stanford Cardinals this past year. He was
- 13:58Speaker 1: definitely somebody that wasn't on a lot of first round
- 14:00Speaker 1: draft boards and then he's dropped him twenty five thirty
- 14:03Speaker 1: points left and right throughout the ACC and I.
- 14:06Speaker 2: Believe he's going to be a Round one pick.
- 14:07Speaker 1: With a lot of underclassmen going back to school, Ibuka
- 14:10Speaker 1: is going to be in the drift and Atlanta can
- 14:12Speaker 1: get that flamethrower guard here at number twenty three that
- 14:16Speaker 1: could play next to Dyson Daniels long term and eventually
- 14:19Speaker 1: replace Cija McCollum, who I do believe they're going to re.
- 14:22Speaker 2: Sign this offseason.
- 14:23Speaker 1: The Knicks definitely needs some perimeter defenders to come off
- 14:25Speaker 1: the bench, and that's exactly where Dalen Swaing could fit in.
- 14:28Speaker 1: The Texas wing defender was great this past year in
- 14:31Speaker 1: the SEC. He helped Texas win multiple March Madness games
- 14:34Speaker 1: and he can guard multiple positions. He's a great athlete,
- 14:36Speaker 1: really good wing span, and this is what the Knicks
- 14:38Speaker 1: needed off the bench, because if you want to give
- 14:39Speaker 1: Mickel Bridges a little bit of a breather or Oj
- 14:41Speaker 1: Nobi or Josh Hart. The Knicks didn't really have that
- 14:43Speaker 1: wing defender like Lanchi Shamtt Fine, Jordan Clarkson. Fine, but
- 14:46Speaker 1: these guys are free agents. Swaying can play eight to
- 14:49Speaker 1: twelve minutes a night for a team that's still going
- 14:51Speaker 1: to be at the top of the Eastern Conference next
- 14:53Speaker 1: year to give them some much needed perimeter defense. We
- 14:56Speaker 1: all know the Lakers need a big this offseason. They're
- 14:58Speaker 1: going to take the next best center on the board
- 15:00Speaker 1: here at twenty five. Henry Vasar a great lomb threat
- 15:02Speaker 1: this past year for North Carolina. He also showcased a
- 15:05Speaker 1: little bit of fourst basing ability at the five, which
- 15:07Speaker 1: could be very useful next to Luka Doncic. And honestly,
- 15:10Speaker 1: you just need somebody that can catch mobs, set good screens,
- 15:13Speaker 1: and be a semi good rint protector, and your game
- 15:15Speaker 1: is going to fish playing next to Austin Reeves, Lukadancic
- 15:18Speaker 1: and maybe a returning Lebron James. I move the Nuggets
- 15:21Speaker 1: gotta go best player available here at twenty six, and
- 15:23Speaker 1: I think they're gonna go Isaiah Evans out of Duke,
- 15:25Speaker 1: one of the best movement shooters in this class. I
- 15:28Speaker 1: thought he would have been a first round pick in
- 15:30Speaker 1: the twenty twenty five draft. They may end up losing
- 15:32Speaker 1: Tim Hardaway Junior this offseason. They need that influx of
- 15:35Speaker 1: three point shooting. Who knows that they have to make
- 15:37Speaker 1: a trade for Cam Johnson to save some money to
- 15:39Speaker 1: resign Payton Watson.
- 15:40Speaker 2: There's gonna be a lot of moving parts of this
- 15:41Speaker 2: offseason for Denver.
- 15:42Speaker 1: So I'd like to get a sure thing at twenty six,
- 15:45Speaker 1: and that's gonna be Isaiah Evans with this three point shooting.
- 15:47Speaker 1: I would have liked some other point guards to maybe
- 15:49Speaker 1: the Boston Celtics here at twenty seven. There's really no
- 15:51Speaker 1: true point guard that I think fits them here at
- 15:53Speaker 1: this spot. So I'm gonna take Alan Graves definitely high
- 15:55Speaker 1: upside this past year at Santa Clara. He's a power
- 15:58Speaker 1: forward that could space the four, that's a good defender
- 16:01Speaker 1: and has a great court vision. But I just like
- 16:02Speaker 1: the fact that he was a plus three point shooter
- 16:04Speaker 1: last year. We know the Celtics like to live and
- 16:06Speaker 1: die by the three. It could give one of the
- 16:08Speaker 1: Jays maybe a breather or two because you could trust
- 16:11Speaker 1: grades of physicality and force facing ability here with the
- 16:14Speaker 1: twenty seventh overall pick. I think Minnesota could also look
- 16:16Speaker 1: for some shot creation off the bench, and that could
- 16:18Speaker 1: be Maliite Thomas this past year at Arkansas. He could
- 16:21Speaker 1: definitely have maybe some Jordan Clarkson tendencies offensively, or he
- 16:24Speaker 1: could just get going out of nowhere. They might have
- 16:26Speaker 1: some influx with this roster coming off the bench this offseason.
- 16:29Speaker 1: I would assume moves a fre regent well they make
- 16:31Speaker 1: a trader or not, and they definitely need all the
- 16:33Speaker 1: depth in the world, and I feel like Elie Thomas
- 16:35Speaker 1: is probably the last good shock creader in this range
- 16:38Speaker 1: that could be available here for Minnesota at the spot.
- 16:41Speaker 1: Calves also need some front core depth and that could
- 16:43Speaker 1: be Joshua Jefferson out of Iowa State. He's kind of
- 16:46Speaker 1: like that jack of all trades, master of none prospect
- 16:48Speaker 1: in this class.
- 16:49Speaker 2: Where he could do a little bit of everything.
- 16:50Speaker 1: He's not a stud at any specific category, but you
- 16:53Speaker 1: could trust them defensively as a three point shooter, as
- 16:55Speaker 1: a passer out of the short roll, and if you
- 16:57Speaker 1: want to give Evan Mobile or Jared Allen some rest,
- 17:00Speaker 1: I think Jefferson can hold his own honestly in the
- 17:02Speaker 1: playoffs next year. I think he's that much of an
- 17:04Speaker 1: NBA ready prospect. And then lastly here at number thirty,
- 17:07Speaker 1: the Dallas Mavericks are going high upside, but he is
- 17:09Speaker 1: a senior in Bobba Miller, who was a major standout
- 17:12Speaker 1: from the draft combined. I didn't really think of him
- 17:14Speaker 1: as a first round pick until the combine, but scouts
- 17:17Speaker 1: are going to love his size, They're going to love
- 17:18Speaker 1: his ability to run end to end, and I just
- 17:20Speaker 1: feel like Dallas has had a lot of injury concerns
- 17:22Speaker 1: in their front court over the last few years. It
- 17:24Speaker 1: wouldn't hurt to edit another player, and Bobba Miller has
- 17:27Speaker 1: the size to play next to Cooper Flag, Daniel Gafford,
- 17:29Speaker 1: Derek Lively, you name it, and that'll do it for
- 17:31Speaker 1: my post draft combine twenty twenty six NBA mock draft.
- 17:35Speaker 1: Who saw a lot of guys rise and fall throughout
- 17:37Speaker 1: the combine. It's going to be a really exciting draft
- 17:39Speaker 1: process over the next few weeks. Thanks for watching this
