- 0:00Speaker 1: Late Welcome to the late Base.
- 0:07Speaker 2: Good evening, everybody, and welcome to the not so late Debate.
- 0:11Speaker 2: I'm Liz Storre and I'm so glad you're here tonight.
- 0:15Speaker 3: Joining me on the desk is.
- 0:16Speaker 2: None other than Joe Hildebrand and Gabriella Power, so you
- 0:21Speaker 2: know you're in for a good time. Coming up later
- 0:25Speaker 2: in the show tonight, Tim Pallace, inarguably the worst treasurer
- 0:30Speaker 2: Victoria has ever seen.
- 0:32Speaker 3: Decides to quit.
- 0:34Speaker 2: He ended down his worst budget on Friday, and on
- 0:36Speaker 2: Monday he decides, you know what, I'm out of here.
- 0:39Speaker 3: Good luck living in the rubble that I created for you.
- 0:42Speaker 2: Also coming up in the show tonight, an Indian cricket
- 0:46Speaker 2: commentator gets in trouble for being racist.
- 0:49Speaker 3: Towards an Indian cricketer. Will unpack that for you because
- 0:54Speaker 3: it's as confusing as it sounds.
- 0:56Speaker 2: Later on and outgoing first Lady Old Biden gets told
- 1:01Speaker 2: off by a kid for saying Happy Holidays instead of
- 1:06Speaker 2: Merry Christmas. But first to the States, where, unless you're
- 1:10Speaker 2: living under a rock, you would have seen all this
- 1:13Speaker 2: conundrum about drones.
- 1:15Speaker 3: Are we under attack? Is it Iran? Is it Russia?
- 1:19Speaker 3: Maybe it's China.
- 1:20Speaker 2: We're told that flocks of up to fifty drones are
- 1:24Speaker 2: being seen in New Jersey, in Maryland, in Virginia, over
- 1:29Speaker 2: these major cities and in some cases military bases. So
- 1:34Speaker 2: the theories as to what's really going.
- 1:36Speaker 3: On are absolutely running rife.
- 1:39Speaker 2: So CNN decides to get an aviation specialist on board
- 1:43Speaker 2: to explain to everyone, calm down the nation and tell
- 1:47Speaker 2: us what's actually going on.
- 1:49Speaker 4: What I'm hearing that from FBI is we don't see
- 1:52Speaker 4: a threat here. And look, honestly, every video I've seen,
- 1:56Speaker 4: and I've spent the last couple of days looking at
- 1:58Speaker 4: every one of these videos video I have seen on
- 2:01Speaker 4: Twitter on the Internet are all airplanes.
- 2:04Speaker 5: They're literally all airplanes.
- 2:05Speaker 4: Some of them will show an airplane that's kind of
- 2:07Speaker 4: stable out there and says that's a drone, And actually
- 2:09Speaker 4: it's an airplane flying towards you at thirty thousand feet
- 2:12Speaker 4: and I can see the lighting on it. And if
- 2:14Speaker 4: there are drones out there, by the way, and if
- 2:16Speaker 4: any of these pictures that they have shown are actual drones,
- 2:20Speaker 4: these drones then are complying with FAA lighting requirements, agreeing
- 2:24Speaker 4: on the right a red on the left with a
- 2:26Speaker 4: strobe and so it's not a ron, it's not aliens.
- 2:29Speaker 4: If there are drones, my guess is if there are
- 2:32Speaker 4: drones again, because again all I've seen are airplanes, then
- 2:35Speaker 4: it is more than likely some company that's out testing
- 2:38Speaker 4: drones or something like that and has no requirement to
- 2:41Speaker 4: tell the public that they're doing it, because they're actually
- 2:44Speaker 4: operating these things legally. There have been no accusations of
- 2:48Speaker 4: illegal operations.
- 2:50Speaker 2: Don't believe you're lying on Zee says they're just airplanes.
- 2:55Speaker 3: Can't people see that?
- 2:56Speaker 2: To which eternal troll Elon Musk helpfully shared is graphic
- 3:01Speaker 2: of different types of airplanes, clearly inferring.
- 3:05Speaker 3: Okay, which one.
- 3:06Speaker 6: Is it that people are supposedly.
- 3:09Speaker 2: Mistaken for drones? And why is it The three thousand
- 3:13Speaker 2: people in New Jersey have absolutely flooded the hotline, very
- 3:19Speaker 2: concerned about these masses of drones that they're seeing over
- 3:24Speaker 2: New Jersey. Well, there's another expert. His name is Mayorcus
- 3:29Speaker 2: and he is the Secretary of Homeland Security. He's in
- 3:33Speaker 2: the government. He's got to know what's going on.
- 3:37Speaker 7: There are thousands of drones flown every day in the
- 3:42Speaker 7: United States, recreational drones, commercial drones, that is the reality.
- 3:48Speaker 7: And in September of twenty twenty three, the Federal Aviation Administration,
- 3:52Speaker 7: the FAA changed the rules so that drones could fly
- 3:56Speaker 7: at night, and that may be one of the reasons
- 3:59Speaker 7: why now people are seeing more drones than they did before,
- 4:03Speaker 7: especially from dawn to dusk. And so that is the reality.
- 4:08Speaker 7: But I want to assure the American public that we
- 4:10Speaker 7: are on it.
- 4:12Speaker 2: I want to assure the American people we are on it.
- 4:15Speaker 2: We have absolutely no idea where they've come from or
- 4:19Speaker 2: what they're doing.
- 4:20Speaker 5: We don't know what it is.
- 4:23Speaker 3: We are on that PA control.
- 4:25Speaker 5: I love this so much.
- 4:26Speaker 8: Okay, firstly, if the CN guy has found out through
- 4:30Speaker 8: his own extensive online investigations, he was just all airlines,
- 4:35Speaker 8: They're just all airplanes. Can you tell the FBI one
- 4:39Speaker 8: in the government seems to know what I don't know anything.
- 4:43Speaker 8: I love how he's saying, like, yes, my sources from
- 4:46Speaker 8: what I'm hearing in the FBI, there's no threat to
- 4:48Speaker 8: publicer what the FBI is saying, the public statements that
- 4:53Speaker 8: media release.
- 4:53Speaker 5: He's pretending he's got a deep throat.
- 4:56Speaker 3: What is this called?
- 4:57Speaker 8: And then and then of course you've got the guy
- 4:59Speaker 8: who says, oh, you know, this is all just you know,
- 5:01Speaker 8: perfectly naturally, there's nothing to say here, there's you know,
- 5:04Speaker 8: we've made we made flying drones legal at night in
- 5:08Speaker 8: September twenty twenty three, so.
- 5:10Speaker 5: It makes absolute perfect.
- 5:12Speaker 8: Sense that they would suddenly all come out in December
- 5:15Speaker 8: twenty twenty four.
- 5:16Speaker 5: What is it Santa's Christmas slanting?
- 5:18Speaker 8: Yeah, like this is the thing, like all these people say, oh, no,
- 5:21Speaker 8: it's just If it's just that, then why isn't the
- 5:23Speaker 8: person doing that? Like surely, like does air do aerospace
- 5:28Speaker 8: officials in the US.
- 5:29Speaker 5: Not know where all the airplanes are is?
- 5:32Speaker 8: And there's someone in I don't know, let me think
- 5:34Speaker 8: a tower of some description that could maybe control the
- 5:39Speaker 8: flight patterns of aircraft, like a control tower. Maybe they
- 5:43Speaker 8: could then say, yes, all these drones that people are
- 5:45Speaker 8: seeing actually fit the exact pattern on our radar screens
- 5:49Speaker 8: that we are directing, because that's what we do.
- 5:51Speaker 5: We're a control tower.
- 5:53Speaker 7: We are a.
- 5:53Speaker 8: Tower that controls air traffic. But no one seems to
- 5:56Speaker 8: be saying that. And then of course and go, I'm
- 5:58Speaker 8: so sorry, Gavid then say that says, oh, but there
- 6:03Speaker 8: are one hundred percent definitely all airplanes but if they're not,
- 6:08Speaker 8: I'm okay, So they're not all air crisis they are.
- 6:11Speaker 8: If they're not, there's obviously just some company that has
- 6:14Speaker 8: decided to yeah, a whole.
- 6:16Speaker 5: Bunch of drawns at not and.
- 6:17Speaker 9: They come there covering like high Amazon.
- 6:23Speaker 8: They've got a company that just a million drones in
- 6:26Speaker 8: New Jersey.
- 6:27Speaker 3: What is going on?
- 6:28Speaker 5: But it answers.
- 6:29Speaker 2: I think everyone is very anxious to see a real
- 6:34Speaker 2: man back in the White House. Because of course, this
- 6:36Speaker 2: is Trump's reaction to seeing these armies of drones descending
- 6:41Speaker 2: on really important cities and in some cases military bases.
- 6:45Speaker 2: He takes the truth social to write mystery drone sightings
- 6:49Speaker 2: over the country. Can this really be happening without our
- 6:53Speaker 2: government's knowledge?
- 6:54Speaker 3: I don't think so.
- 6:57Speaker 2: Let the public know and now otherwise shoot them down.
- 7:02Speaker 3: I reckon. This guy's probably got.
- 7:04Speaker 2: A legion of these bad boy drones, which we'll get
- 7:07Speaker 2: up on the screen for you right now. Just to
- 7:09Speaker 2: unleash upon these unregistered, unknown drones and unleash just just
- 7:15Speaker 2: just shoot them all down.
- 7:17Speaker 3: Here's a Trump looking drone.
- 7:19Speaker 2: Everyone's like, yes, unleash the Trump drones.
- 7:23Speaker 3: Gammy, what do you mean?
- 7:24Speaker 10: Oh my gosh, Well, look how look at the difference
- 7:27Speaker 10: in messaging. You've got Trump saying shoot them down, then
- 7:29Speaker 10: you've got Mayorkas saying we're on to it, it's all good,
- 7:32Speaker 10: and gas lighting, blaming the FAA, the Federal Aviation Administration,
- 7:36Speaker 10: and you know, and that's how's that expert from scene
- 7:38Speaker 10: and calling an aeroplane And there are drones that are
- 7:41Speaker 10: reportedly the size of SUV's sending the people in New
- 7:45Speaker 10: Jersey just absolutely crazy not knowing what's going on, and
- 7:48Speaker 10: the comment this has not been transparented all about this thing.
- 7:51Speaker 10: You're going down rabbit holes on X with all the
- 7:54Speaker 10: different wild theories out there. Aliens is getting a good
- 7:56Speaker 10: run on X as well. But you know, I think
- 7:58Speaker 10: everyone's so excited to see Trump back in the White
- 8:00Speaker 10: House and actually getting some action because.
- 8:02Speaker 11: We need to know what they are. If we don't
- 8:03Speaker 11: know what they are, Trump's got a point.
- 8:05Speaker 2: Yeah, we wouldn't even still be talking about it if
- 8:08Speaker 2: Trump were in the White House.
- 8:09Speaker 3: These things would be dead and buried all over the
- 8:12Speaker 3: United States.
- 8:13Speaker 2: But here's a theory for you by a guy called
- 8:16Speaker 2: John Ferguson. He actually creates very sophisticated drones for the
- 8:22Speaker 2: government's military so he knows a thing or two, and
- 8:26Speaker 2: he took to Twitter and other social pages to let
- 8:30Speaker 2: people know, Look, this is just my theory of what's
- 8:33Speaker 2: going on here, and also speaking to the fact that
- 8:37Speaker 2: he doesn't believe they're doing anything nefarious.
- 8:41Speaker 3: Have a listen.
- 8:43Speaker 12: Back in the nineteen eighties, Ronald Reagan had dismantled the
- 8:47Speaker 12: nuclear program, and there were with Russia, there were countless
- 8:54Speaker 12: nuclear missiles that were disarmed and disposed of. Well, there
- 9:02Speaker 12: were over eighty. I believe there were over eighty nuclear
- 9:07Speaker 12: warheads that were in Ukraine that came up missing. Okay,
- 9:14Speaker 12: we don't know where they are. Maybe somebody does, but
- 9:17Speaker 12: nobody really knows where these are. I spoke to a
- 9:20Speaker 12: gentleman a few months ago who was trying to raise
- 9:26Speaker 12: an alarm to the highest levels of our government, which
- 9:30Speaker 12: they had their ears closed about this one particular nuclear
- 9:35Speaker 12: warhead that he physically put his hands on. He physically
- 9:39Speaker 12: touched this warhead that was left over from Ukraine, and
- 9:43Speaker 12: he knew that that thing was headed towards the United States. Okay,
- 9:50Speaker 12: that is a very serious deal.
- 9:53Speaker 2: People in the knowing stuff and sharing it now because
- 9:56Speaker 2: we have these wonderful platforms in which every day said
- 10:00Speaker 2: can just say, look, here's what I know, do with
- 10:02Speaker 2: it what you will.
- 10:03Speaker 3: Now.
- 10:03Speaker 2: John Ferguson goes on to explain that there is absolutely
- 10:07Speaker 2: no use of flying a drone at night because they're
- 10:10Speaker 2: blind as bats, unless they're outfitted with infrared capabilities, which
- 10:15Speaker 2: would make it a very serious drone. Indeed, he says
- 10:19Speaker 2: there's only one reason for drones to be flying at night.
- 10:22Speaker 3: Here's his explanation as to what he thinks.
- 10:25Speaker 11: They're up to.
- 10:27Speaker 12: My own guess is that these drones are not nefarious
- 10:31Speaker 12: and intent. But if they are are drones, the only
- 10:36Speaker 12: reason why they would be flying and flying that low
- 10:39Speaker 12: is because they're trying to smell something on the ground.
- 10:43Speaker 5: That's it.
- 10:44Speaker 12: There's no other reason for a drone be flying in
- 10:46Speaker 12: the air. So my belief, as they're trying to smell
- 10:51Speaker 12: something on the ground, gas leagues, radioactive material.
- 10:58Speaker 2: They're trying to find this war According to John Ferguson,
- 11:02Speaker 2: let's see time will tell.
- 11:03Speaker 3: But what is presidentis Biden.
- 11:07Speaker 8: Is let's just assume that it's either aliens or drones
- 11:11Speaker 8: trying to find a lost nuclear warhead from the nineteen eighties.
- 11:15Speaker 3: Any thing about I know that's believed that's going viral.
- 11:18Speaker 10: It's getting shared sixteen million times now way Rogan has
- 11:21Speaker 10: shared it.
- 11:21Speaker 11: But look, let's getting.
- 11:22Speaker 10: Some ants, some explanation from an expert about what possibly.
- 11:26Speaker 11: It could be.
- 11:27Speaker 2: Absolutely, and that would also explain why the government doesn't
- 11:30Speaker 2: want to tell anybody about it. But what's Joe Biden
- 11:34Speaker 2: doing While the country's obsessing over drones and what they're
- 11:38Speaker 2: up to flying over all these mysterious locations, He's busy
- 11:43Speaker 2: handling out the biggest pardon heyday in US history. He
- 11:49Speaker 2: has commuted roughly fifteen hundred sentences and pardoned thirty nine
- 11:55Speaker 2: people in the biggest single day act of clemency.
- 11:59Speaker 3: Here's this help for.
- 12:00Speaker 2: Graft just to show you how he has blown every
- 12:03Speaker 2: other former president out of the water with regards to
- 12:07Speaker 2: how many of these he's handed out.
- 12:10Speaker 3: But wait, there's more.
- 12:12Speaker 2: He says he's still going to keep reviewing these askings
- 12:16Speaker 2: for clemencys.
- 12:17Speaker 3: So it indicates that he's not done. So let's take
- 12:20Speaker 3: a quick look at these deserving recipients that he.
- 12:25Speaker 5: Believe monochron monoc.
- 12:29Speaker 2: Just you know, bit pieces, people who are clearly handed
- 12:33Speaker 2: down really unfair sentences. And so now he's seen fit
- 12:36Speaker 2: just to give him a slap on the wrist. No,
- 12:39Speaker 2: this is absolutely blood curdling reading.
- 12:42Speaker 3: First, we have an ex doctor pardoned.
- 12:44Speaker 2: This was a doctor who defrauded cancer patients by not
- 12:48Speaker 2: providing them with their full prescription of chemo while billing
- 12:53Speaker 2: Medicaid for millions of dollars. Yeah, sure, that sounds like
- 12:58Speaker 2: someone who deserves clements.
- 13:00Speaker 3: See.
- 13:00Speaker 2: Then there's an inbezzler, an embezzler who was pardoned after
- 13:04Speaker 2: they ripped off the city of Dixon for over twenty
- 13:08Speaker 2: two years to the tune of fifty three million dollars.
- 13:11Speaker 2: The DOJ described it as quote the largest theft of
- 13:15Speaker 2: public funds in state history. Really, she deserves clemency. And
- 13:22Speaker 2: let's not forget the kids for cash judge, Yes, who
- 13:27Speaker 2: was pocketing millions in kickbacks for reward for how many
- 13:33Speaker 2: black kids they could send to jail. And that's to
- 13:37Speaker 2: say nothing of the Chinese national who was caught with
- 13:40Speaker 2: forty seven thousand images of child pornography. Clearly deserves clemency.
- 13:47Speaker 2: I'm sure there are changed individual now, Gabby. This is
- 13:50Speaker 2: just four of thirty nine pardoned individuals. Biden has said
- 13:56Speaker 2: he's not done yet.
- 13:57Speaker 3: There's more to come.
- 13:59Speaker 2: Someone needs to go through this with a fine tooth
- 14:01Speaker 2: comb and find out who these people are and why
- 14:04Speaker 2: exactly they deserve to walk free.
- 14:06Speaker 10: Well, I think what we need to remember is Joe
- 14:07Speaker 10: Biden doesn't know what day it is, just a couple
- 14:09Speaker 10: of weeks ago, who was sleeping for two minutes in
- 14:12Speaker 10: the middle of a meeting while he was in Africa.
- 14:14Speaker 10: So who is in Joe Biden's ear at the moment
- 14:17Speaker 10: and suggesting that this is a really good idea. And
- 14:20Speaker 10: it's just extraordinary when you think about what power that
- 14:24Speaker 10: these presidents have to pardon someone, just give people get
- 14:27Speaker 10: out of jail free cards essentially. And if you look
- 14:29Speaker 10: at the sign oh yeah, of course, don't forget Hunter,
- 14:32Speaker 10: but crazy you look at the numbers at George W. Bush,
- 14:35Speaker 10: you only pardoned two hundred people, Donald Trump just over
- 14:38Speaker 10: two hundred, and then Joe Biden fifteen hundred people.
- 14:41Speaker 11: And as you say, you've pointing out.
- 14:43Speaker 10: Some of those that he is partying look, including Hunter, or.
- 14:49Speaker 8: Even just the physical act of doing that. I find
- 14:51Speaker 8: it difficult to get my head around, like even just
- 14:53Speaker 8: signing fifteen hundred, one thousand, five hundred times, like I've
- 14:57Speaker 8: done a few book signings. Not many people showed up,
- 14:59Speaker 8: but after about ten, you know, you start to notice it.
- 15:01Speaker 8: But fifteen hundred and again, are we assuming that he's
- 15:05Speaker 8: read all the sort of paperwork you would read, okay,
- 15:10Speaker 8: oh yeah, and they said sorry, oh and now they've
- 15:11Speaker 8: converted to Christian. Oh that's nice, and then you're doing that.
- 15:14Speaker 8: There is no way, surely, and he says he's not
- 15:17Speaker 8: done yet. There's no way that there could be any
- 15:20Speaker 8: kind of due diligence at his level for that amount,
- 15:24Speaker 8: which is not to say that he's you know, I mean,
- 15:26Speaker 8: he's obviously you know, functioning somewhere between a sort of caple.
- 15:29Speaker 3: But he's just signing.
- 15:30Speaker 2: Somebody else has put this together. And you wonder who
- 15:34Speaker 2: else is buried in this long list of people who now.
- 15:37Speaker 3: Just walk scott free.
- 15:39Speaker 2: How many of his mates and what were they guilty
- 15:42Speaker 2: of that they now just get to live large? Levita
- 15:46Speaker 2: Loca tell you who we haven't seen the last of though,
- 15:49Speaker 2: is VP Kamala Harris. You would have thought after that
- 15:54Speaker 2: dreadful loss she blew over a billion dollars, dreadful loss.
- 15:58Speaker 3: To truck crack.
- 16:02Speaker 8: For stealing a billion dollars, absolutely nothing to show for it.
- 16:05Speaker 5: That's what it's sorking.
- 16:06Speaker 2: But apparently she's got her sight set on becoming a
- 16:10Speaker 2: California governor.
- 16:11Speaker 3: His CNN on.
- 16:12Speaker 8: That that was what the likelihood is of Harri's running
- 16:16Speaker 8: for governor.
- 16:17Speaker 1: What she's been saying to people over the last couple
- 16:19Speaker 1: of weeks, donors other supporters that she's been been talking
- 16:22Speaker 1: with is you haven't seen the last of me. I'm
- 16:24Speaker 1: not going quietly into the night. Advisors people close to
- 16:27Speaker 1: her are debating about what that means. They do not
- 16:31Speaker 1: want her final official act ever to be essentially certifying
- 16:35Speaker 1: Donald Trump's win over her, especially four years after January sixth,
- 16:39Speaker 1: and so they look at this governor's race in California
- 16:42Speaker 1: in twenty twenty six and it seems to them like
- 16:44Speaker 1: a layup essentially that she would probably clear the field
- 16:48Speaker 1: or mostly clear the field, and she would get to
- 16:50Speaker 1: be governor of California.
- 16:51Speaker 5: It's just a pretty good job.
- 16:53Speaker 2: Apparently, whether she gets that goal all depends on whether
- 16:56Speaker 2: people believe in the DNC that she can then go
- 17:00Speaker 2: on to be a successful candidate at the twenty twenty
- 17:04Speaker 2: eight presidential debates. Are you kidding me? She fell over
- 17:09Speaker 2: in twenty twenty didn't even get a single vote because
- 17:11Speaker 2: she pulled out. No one in the Lay party likes her.
- 17:15Speaker 2: She became VP because Biden needed a woman, preferably an
- 17:20Speaker 2: ethnic woman. She's been massively unpopular and her record is
- 17:26Speaker 2: absolutely nothing except for that infamous cackle.
- 17:29Speaker 3: So you'd think, surely this isn't true.
- 17:32Speaker 2: And yet if you're watching the DNC Holiday get Together,
- 17:36Speaker 2: if you listen to Biden, sounds like there's something in this.
- 17:41Speaker 5: Look.
- 17:42Speaker 13: It's also been a credible honor to serve with someone
- 17:44Speaker 13: of immense character, as she demonstated through her entire career,
- 17:48Speaker 13: Kamala Harris.
- 17:49Speaker 5: I knew what I was.
- 17:50Speaker 13: Don't ask her to be my vice president. I knew her.
- 17:52Speaker 13: I knew ever, I knew about her, I knew her record.
- 17:54Speaker 5: I trusted her.
- 17:56Speaker 13: She always served this country of purpose and integrity and
- 17:59Speaker 13: she always will. And you're not going anywhere, kids, because
- 18:02Speaker 13: we're not let you go.
- 18:05Speaker 3: With purpose and integrity. These guys literally do nothing.
- 18:09Speaker 10: But oh, we know that Joe Biden doesn't like Kamala
- 18:12Speaker 10: Harris anymore. Jill Biden can't even look at her. But
- 18:15Speaker 10: I am looking at that CNN clip. It's all about Trump,
- 18:19Speaker 10: isn't it that Kamala Harris wants to run again, whether
- 18:22Speaker 10: it's for governor or to be president.
- 18:25Speaker 11: Maybe one day. It's still about Donald Trump.
- 18:27Speaker 10: Really, but if you look at her track record as
- 18:30Speaker 10: vice president, she was so unpopular. Her one role was
- 18:33Speaker 10: to look after the border. We all know how badly
- 18:35Speaker 10: that was handled. And then that campaign, as you mentioned,
- 18:38Speaker 10: you know Joe Biden trobably pardon Kamala Harris for spending
- 18:41Speaker 10: a billion dollars in three months genuinely criminals.
- 18:44Speaker 11: But look, she's having a.
- 18:45Speaker 2: Love trying to talk up now, being like, well she
- 18:47Speaker 2: raised over a billion dollars.
- 18:49Speaker 11: You know she's a Democrat.
- 18:53Speaker 8: They're actually so delusional that she when she said that
- 18:56Speaker 8: in a crazed rambling video, she didn't even realize that
- 18:59Speaker 8: made it worse.
- 19:00Speaker 5: She didn't realize that.
- 19:01Speaker 8: She says, hey, I had this whole thing delivered to
- 19:03Speaker 8: be on a platter, and I still screw this. But
- 19:06Speaker 8: she's bragging about how big the platt was on if
- 19:10Speaker 8: you listen to And this is what makes me absolutely
- 19:14Speaker 8: genuinely furious. And we see this creeping into the Democrats
- 19:17Speaker 8: in particular and progressive politics more generally, where it's all
- 19:22Speaker 8: about it's just all about them.
- 19:24Speaker 5: It's just all about the person.
- 19:26Speaker 8: Kid in mind, this is meant to be the left
- 19:28Speaker 8: that I remember, that was meant to be about everyone else.
- 19:30Speaker 8: It was meant to be out all the masses, all
- 19:31Speaker 8: the poor people out there struggling, can't get a break,
- 19:34Speaker 8: and you're going to help them out. You listen to
- 19:36Speaker 8: that clip from CNN, and not once do they mention
- 19:39Speaker 8: what's good.
- 19:39Speaker 5: For the people.
- 19:40Speaker 8: All of that, that's right, But it's not even all
- 19:42Speaker 8: about it's all about her. It's it would be bad
- 19:44Speaker 8: for her if her last act in public was just to.
- 19:47Speaker 5: Be to hand it on who cares.
- 19:49Speaker 8: And then oh, yes, we've got the governorship of California
- 19:52Speaker 8: coming up. That's a pretty good lay up, and she
- 19:54Speaker 8: would just be handed that on a platter as well.
- 19:56Speaker 8: And as he says, oh it's a pretty good job.
- 19:58Speaker 8: So CaMLA would still be able to get pretty good
- 20:00Speaker 8: job and be able to pay all those pretty good
- 20:02Speaker 8: bills in the middle of a pretty good cost of
- 20:04Speaker 8: living crisis. Like can you imagine the narcissism? Absolutely Hubris
- 20:09Speaker 8: that makes her think still to this day, still to
- 20:13Speaker 8: this day, that this is all about her, This is
- 20:17Speaker 8: all about how everyone around her, The Democratic National Committee,
- 20:21Speaker 8: the entire state of California has to make up for
- 20:24Speaker 8: her hopeless incompetence and complete vacuousness that deprived her of
- 20:29Speaker 8: every single metric of the last presidential and congressional elections
- 20:34Speaker 8: and then give her everything back to her on a
- 20:37Speaker 8: platter again because why because then it wouldn't be that
- 20:41Speaker 8: nice for her if the last thing she had to
- 20:42Speaker 8: do was handing the cases on the truck because of
- 20:44Speaker 8: her own in competent. It is I have never ever,
- 20:47Speaker 8: ever encountered that level of narcissism outside someone who is
- 20:51Speaker 8: an actual sociopath. Is It is disgraceful And if the
- 20:54Speaker 8: Democratic Party give her any kind of platform after her
- 20:58Speaker 8: performance during the campaign, they should be condemned to oblivion
- 21:03Speaker 8: for generations that should go back to the days when
- 21:06Speaker 8: they were the slave owning party of the South, because.
- 21:08Speaker 2: He here the party of the kilukockx Klan.
- 21:11Speaker 10: Also, and Republicans are cheering about this. I've heard some
- 21:14Speaker 10: Republicans say, please do it, please run, it will.
- 21:17Speaker 3: Beat you again, do you know, Okay, you're getting.
- 21:19Speaker 10: Down, but it's you know, even if she tries to
- 21:23Speaker 10: run the governor of California, more than forty percent of
- 21:25Speaker 10: people in California actually voted for Trump.
- 21:27Speaker 11: It's going red. So you know, Kamala Haara, how will.
- 21:30Speaker 5: Vote for her?
- 21:30Speaker 8: She's unelectable. She's the most odious candidate I have ever
- 21:34Speaker 8: seen in my life.
- 21:34Speaker 11: But she's back.
- 21:37Speaker 10: Here's the latest I thing she's got to say.
- 21:39Speaker 3: The holiday season is one of my favorite times of year.
- 21:42Speaker 3: That in my birthday and in our wedding anniversary.
- 21:48Speaker 10: Of course, I'm just going to keep digging this whole Deperdever,
- 21:56Speaker 10: she doesn't get any less cringe. The more we hear
- 21:58Speaker 10: from her, the more people want to switch off.
- 22:00Speaker 11: Good luck to her. I don't think she's got a future.
- 22:03Speaker 3: No, I don't. I take it back.
- 22:04Speaker 2: No luck to her Onceoever, she does need it more
- 22:08Speaker 2: than anyone right now.
- 22:09Speaker 3: But I hope that.
- 22:10Speaker 2: She she belongs in the graveyard of ambition. And I
- 22:13Speaker 2: agree with you with you, Jo, if the Democrats give
- 22:16Speaker 2: her a single other gong?
- 22:18Speaker 3: Also, how would you.
- 22:19Speaker 2: Be as the California governor now, which is Gavinooss who's
- 22:25Speaker 2: also just ran the state into an absolute burning dumpster fire.
- 22:29Speaker 2: But he's been there for quite some time and he
- 22:32Speaker 2: does have some significant popularity as the incumbent and people
- 22:36Speaker 2: are just openly talking about you losing Tomala Harril.
- 22:40Speaker 5: So that she saves the state of California.
- 22:44Speaker 3: He's like, where am I supposed to go? Thanks?
- 22:46Speaker 8: Generally, I thought that Karmala, which is what would happen
- 22:48Speaker 8: to my baby, that Karmala after her performance, was being
- 22:50Speaker 8: non person and she was just going to be disappeared
- 22:52Speaker 8: and she was never going to be should be never
- 22:54Speaker 8: going to be spoken of again.
- 22:56Speaker 5: There is no Karmala. There will be no Karmala. There
- 22:58Speaker 5: never was a Karmala, not my mama.
- 23:00Speaker 8: And the idea that I mean, the idea is being
- 23:03Speaker 8: even spoken of by seat and straightface also shows that
- 23:07Speaker 8: the progressive media in the US is still so far
- 23:11Speaker 8: up its own ars. Honestly, it thinks it's a beautiful night.
- 23:14Speaker 8: In fact it's dark for another reason, like they are
- 23:16Speaker 8: just absolute morons. And the idea this is being seriously
- 23:20Speaker 8: considered by I mean, if Kamala herself is delusional to
- 23:24Speaker 8: be saying.
- 23:24Speaker 5: I'm not going to go quietly into that big black night,
- 23:26Speaker 5: It's not up to you, ding sorry, you go wherever
- 23:28Speaker 5: the voters take you. And that's sti Oblivia.
- 23:30Speaker 8: And the idea that this has been taken seriously by
- 23:32Speaker 8: her or those around it. But let the actual media
- 23:36Speaker 8: have gone from oh where do we get it?
- 23:37Speaker 10: Surprised the media were campaigning from her the whole time.
- 23:41Speaker 10: They were campaigning for Joe Biden until he exposed himself
- 23:44Speaker 10: really in that debate when he couldn't have to say,
- 23:46Speaker 10: you know, we finally beat medicare they lied to us.
- 23:49Speaker 11: They're going to keep lying. They lied to us.
- 23:50Speaker 10: Abou Kamala Harris, She's an average vice president and all
- 23:53Speaker 10: of a sudden she was a superstar because she had
- 23:55Speaker 10: the celebrities endorsement.
- 23:56Speaker 11: So, you know, with tum coming.
- 24:00Speaker 8: I actually think they're so stupid, and they are so cloistered,
- 24:03Speaker 8: and they are so ignorant of what normal people are thinking.
- 24:06Speaker 8: I don't actually think then, I don't think they're going, okay,
- 24:08Speaker 8: let's go on life to the American people.
- 24:09Speaker 2: I actually think they genuinely because it's so.
- 24:12Speaker 8: Stupid, Like with the Biden stuff, obviously they're pulling them
- 24:14Speaker 8: all over everyone's eyes, and maybe they're trying to convince themselves,
- 24:17Speaker 8: but again, like how could you like even you know,
- 24:19Speaker 8: morning Joe actually said, all right, we've got to go
- 24:21Speaker 8: to mar Lago talk to Donald Trump. You know, I
- 24:23Speaker 8: had people on CNN saying, right, we've got things going Clearly,
- 24:26Speaker 8: things have gone catastrophically wrong. We are not understanding the
- 24:29Speaker 8: mood of the nation, the pulse of the people. And
- 24:31Speaker 8: then you have just a few weeks after the election result,
- 24:34Speaker 8: people saying that Kamala Harris is going to make a comeback,
- 24:38Speaker 8: not just for governor of California, but is that as
- 24:40Speaker 8: a vehicle to then go to the White House again,
- 24:44Speaker 8: like this is a brain injury. Honestly, if you heard
- 24:47Speaker 8: someone in your family talking like this, you would take
- 24:50Speaker 8: them to be committed.
- 24:51Speaker 5: You would get them a cats.
- 24:52Speaker 3: N CNN whose ratings we know have fallen off a clit.
- 24:57Speaker 5: Carmala Harris should because.
- 24:58Speaker 2: The American public were just like, you lied through your
- 25:02Speaker 2: teeth to us for months and months on end. This
- 25:05Speaker 2: election hasn't gone the way that you were all saying
- 25:07Speaker 2: it would.
- 25:08Speaker 3: We don't believe you anymore.
- 25:10Speaker 2: And then they had this short period of a bit
- 25:12Speaker 2: of an autopsy where they did do a little bit
- 25:15Speaker 2: of naval gazing and said, oh, maybe we get everything wrong,
- 25:18Speaker 2: but yeah, it figures they've just returned to factory settings
- 25:23Speaker 2: and we're getting more of the same staying in the States. Now,
- 25:26Speaker 2: Trump just keeps winning these court cases. He's kicking them
- 25:31Speaker 2: down like rickety old doors.
- 25:33Speaker 3: This one is the case that ABC had with him.
- 25:37Speaker 2: They've decided to settle outside of court. It's much smarter
- 25:42Speaker 2: doing it that way, and a little less money. They've
- 25:44Speaker 2: been ordered to pay him fifteen million dollars plus his
- 25:49Speaker 2: legal fees, so I imagine the entirety of the sum
- 25:53Speaker 2: is much much bigger.
- 25:55Speaker 3: This was, of.
- 25:55Speaker 2: Course, due to George Stephanopolis, an ABC host, claiming the
- 26:01Speaker 2: President elect was quote found liable for rape end quote,
- 26:05Speaker 2: which is patently un true. We know that now, we've
- 26:10Speaker 2: known that for a very long time. He didn't have
- 26:13Speaker 2: a leg to stand on in telling his viewers that,
- 26:16Speaker 2: and so Trump has rightly won without even going to court.
- 26:21Speaker 2: So here's MSNBC waxing lyrical about how terrible this is,
- 26:25Speaker 2: what a massive payout it's going to be.
- 26:30Speaker 6: I'll just say, I mean, this feels like it has
- 26:32Speaker 6: a real chilling effect. Like I mean, shout out to
- 26:35Speaker 6: the standards Department. Okay, Standards is always making sure that
- 26:37Speaker 6: we are keeping the bar high and substantive inaccurate. But
- 26:41Speaker 6: what George Sethanopolis said in that interview. I mean it
- 26:46Speaker 6: seems to hold up. And with the judge stout after
- 26:48Speaker 6: the fact, and now he's news organization and himself, George
- 26:51Speaker 6: Hepanopolis himself is paying a million dollars of his own
- 26:55Speaker 6: money to the lawyers and ABC and fifty million dollars.
- 26:58Speaker 2: It's insane, Simone Sanders, want to be careful there, you
- 27:03Speaker 2: too could be writing a check for fifteen million dollars
- 27:06Speaker 2: after seemingly backing the guy who was just successfully sued.
- 27:11Speaker 3: Honestly, do these people have rocks in their head? Gather?
- 27:14Speaker 10: Of course, we can't on MSNBC to say something like
- 27:16Speaker 10: that they were just as bad as seen and throughout
- 27:18Speaker 10: this campaign.
- 27:19Speaker 11: But well on Trump for fighting this.
- 27:21Speaker 10: Obviously, it's pretty rare that you actually get defamation payouts
- 27:24Speaker 10: over in the US because their freedom of speech laws
- 27:27Speaker 10: are a bit more extreme.
- 27:28Speaker 11: Than over here.
- 27:29Speaker 10: But there are plenty of other hosts that he could
- 27:31Speaker 10: go after if he wanted to. There were MSNBC reporters
- 27:34Speaker 10: that were directly comparing Donald Trump to Hitler, a mass murderer.
- 27:37Speaker 10: Surely that counts as defamation in some way.
- 27:41Speaker 5: Well, that bit doesn't.
- 27:42Speaker 8: But the and this is a thing, and this is
- 27:45Speaker 8: where the left sort of shoots themselves in the foot
- 27:47Speaker 8: that they always overreached. So they can't just accept, you know,
- 27:50Speaker 8: that Donald Trump is someone who they don't like or
- 27:53Speaker 8: they don't agree with. He has to be hitler and
- 27:55Speaker 8: they can't actually accept in this case, and this was
- 27:57Speaker 8: a really telling one, they can't actually accept the fact
- 28:00Speaker 8: that eg Simmons or whatever it happens, did actually win
- 28:04Speaker 8: that case and she did get an even higher defamation
- 28:08Speaker 8: payout than she did for the actual sexual assault that
- 28:12Speaker 8: the civil court upheld. But it was a sexual assault,
- 28:16Speaker 8: it wasn't a rape. And so by having in their
- 28:21Speaker 8: beady little minds, oh, Donald Trump is evil. It must
- 28:23Speaker 8: be a rapist, he must be a rapist, and just
- 28:25Speaker 8: not being able to get their heads around the facts,
- 28:28Speaker 8: they have then made a fifteen million dollar mistake because
- 28:34Speaker 8: plus legal fees, I think I saw a twenty three
- 28:36Speaker 8: million dollar figure, but that might be what that translates
- 28:38Speaker 8: to in Australian dollars. But again it just goes to
- 28:41Speaker 8: show how much of a kind of bubble.
- 28:44Speaker 5: These people living.
- 28:45Speaker 8: Know they think these things about Donald Trump, they talk
- 28:48Speaker 8: to people who think the exact same things, and they
- 28:50Speaker 8: just get in their head that Donald Trump's a rapist
- 28:52Speaker 8: and that the courts have found this and they think
- 28:54Speaker 8: it's true. And suddenly they've just implanted this idea that
- 28:57Speaker 8: that is a fact, and it simply.
- 28:59Speaker 5: Is not a fact.
- 28:59Speaker 8: In the state where it happened, there's a very clear
- 29:01Speaker 8: definition of right and what happened with Donald Trump did
- 29:05Speaker 8: not fit that criteria, simple as that.
- 29:07Speaker 2: And you think these guys being journals journos rather they
- 29:11Speaker 2: know the legalities, they know how important which words you
- 29:15Speaker 2: use when you're talking about matters like this really really matter.
- 29:20Speaker 2: And yet here's Morning Joe seemingly again just doing the
- 29:26Speaker 2: same thing, talking about Stephanopoulos's interview with Nancy Mace, which
- 29:33Speaker 2: is how this whole case came to be.
- 29:37Speaker 14: She's so concerned about rape victims being shamed. What about
- 29:42Speaker 14: what Donald Trump does. Here's rape victim. Judge said, she's
- 29:46Speaker 14: a rape victim day in and day out, constantly shaming
- 29:52Speaker 14: EG and Carol so much so that the jury had
- 29:56Speaker 14: to come back a second time and make penalty is
- 30:00Speaker 14: so bad that maybe he would stop shaming a rape victim.
- 30:05Speaker 14: But that's so Nancy Mayce aggressively endorses.
- 30:10Speaker 2: So now you're shaming a rape victim for crying out loud.
- 30:14Speaker 3: They never learn.
- 30:15Speaker 5: Yeah, this is the thing. And I don't know. I
- 30:17Speaker 5: don't know.
- 30:18Speaker 8: I haven't read the entire judgment against Agen for Egen
- 30:21Speaker 8: Carroll against Donald Trump, and that was length what I
- 30:23Speaker 8: was saying before about how the jury came back and
- 30:25Speaker 8: gave him even more in.
- 30:26Speaker 5: The defamation as he was talking about it.
- 30:27Speaker 8: But again the definition of right, I don't know if
- 30:31Speaker 8: the judge referred to her as a rape victim in
- 30:34Speaker 8: some other context or talked about rape wings generally.
- 30:37Speaker 2: So sorry, I was talking about Nancy Mace, who is
- 30:39Speaker 2: genuinely she's sitting Republican in the in the House of Reps.
- 30:45Speaker 5: But yeah, that's right.
- 30:46Speaker 8: But again I don't know how if Joe Scarborough was
- 30:49Speaker 8: talking about that same case and banging on about the
- 30:53Speaker 8: banging on about the action against George Stephanopolis, I do
- 30:56Speaker 8: not see.
- 30:56Speaker 5: Again, it just seems.
- 30:57Speaker 8: To be people talking in a bubble. I do not
- 31:01Speaker 8: realize they convince themselves that it's feelings of facts.
- 31:04Speaker 10: It's bizarre that George Deephanopolis even went down this line
- 31:06Speaker 10: of questioning. And if you look back at you know
- 31:09Speaker 10: his history before he was a journalist, he was a
- 31:11Speaker 10: communications director of the nineteen ninety two president's presidential campaign
- 31:16Speaker 10: of Bill Clinton, who's of course had several accusations against him,
- 31:20Speaker 10: which he denies. But it's bizarre that George Stephanopolis really
- 31:24Speaker 10: continued to grill Nancy Mace about this, and I think
- 31:27Speaker 10: she did a great job really calling him out at
- 31:30Speaker 10: the time, saying.
- 31:30Speaker 11: You are shaming me.
- 31:31Speaker 3: Yeah, absolutely, that's right.
- 31:33Speaker 8: And fun fact, George Stephanopolis was the man they thought
- 31:37Speaker 8: wrote the book Primary Colors about all of what is it?
- 31:41Speaker 8: Jack Stanton was the name of the candidate, and really
- 31:44Speaker 8: it has nothing to do with Bill Clinton.
- 31:46Speaker 5: Whatsoever? Was Jack Stanton? Not Bill?
- 31:48Speaker 2: George would have come out and taken the credit.
- 31:50Speaker 9: That's right.
- 31:50Speaker 8: It turned out to be a guy called Joe Klein,
- 31:52Speaker 8: but everyone thought it was George Stephanopolis who wrote.
- 31:54Speaker 2: It was Joe Cline, who then took the credit once
- 31:57Speaker 2: George was getting it was like actually.
- 31:59Speaker 8: With Joe Klein, who then wrote a follow up to
- 32:01Speaker 8: Primary Colors under his own name, called The Running Mate,
- 32:05Speaker 8: and it was a terrible flock.
- 32:07Speaker 2: Well, the absolute pandemonium over January sixth continues to unravel
- 32:14Speaker 2: the insurrection that.
- 32:16Speaker 3: Got Trump into so much trouble. The facts and figures
- 32:19Speaker 3: are still.
- 32:20Speaker 2: Coming out, ladies and gentlemen, And can I say it's
- 32:23Speaker 2: another great day, as every day is to be a
- 32:27Speaker 2: conspiracy theorist, because we just found out from the Justice
- 32:32Speaker 2: Department's watchdog in a bombshell report that there were twenty
- 32:36Speaker 2: six FBI informants on the ground in the capital on
- 32:41Speaker 2: that day, and to quote the report, most of them
- 32:45Speaker 2: engaged in illegal activity. So what the heck was going on?
- 32:51Speaker 3: FBI?
- 32:52Speaker 2: Here's Thomas Massey, who's a Republican rep in the House.
- 32:56Speaker 3: Absolutely love this guy. He is beyond based.
- 33:00Speaker 2: He wouldn't let all these allegations regarding January sixth go
- 33:04Speaker 2: over the last few years, and he took every opportunity
- 33:08Speaker 2: he got to grill the Attorney General as to what
- 33:12Speaker 2: actually happened on that day, and he specifically asked Attorney
- 33:17Speaker 2: General Garland repeatedly were their FBI agents involved.
- 33:24Speaker 15: I was hoping today to give you an opportunity to
- 33:27Speaker 15: put to rest the concerns that people have that there
- 33:30Speaker 15: were federal agents or assets of the federal government present
- 33:34Speaker 15: on January fifth and January sixth. Can you tell us,
- 33:37Speaker 15: without talking about particular incidents or particular videos, how many
- 33:41Speaker 15: agents or assets of the federal government were present on
- 33:44Speaker 15: January sixth, whether they agitated to go into the capitol,
- 33:48Speaker 15: and if any of them did so.
- 33:50Speaker 5: I'm not going to violate this norm of.
- 33:53Speaker 3: The rule of law.
- 33:54Speaker 12: I'm not going to comment on investigation that's ongoing now.
- 33:57Speaker 9: In that video, that was your answer to question to
- 34:00Speaker 9: me two years ago when I said, how many agents
- 34:03Speaker 9: or assets of the government were present on January fifth
- 34:05Speaker 9: and January sixth and agitating in the crowd to go
- 34:09Speaker 9: into the capitol, and how many went into the capitol?
- 34:11Speaker 9: Can you answer that now?
- 34:13Speaker 6: I don't know the answer to that question.
- 34:15Speaker 9: Oh, last time, you don't know how many there were
- 34:17Speaker 9: or there were none.
- 34:19Speaker 8: I don't know the answer to either of those questions.
- 34:22Speaker 5: If there were any.
- 34:23Speaker 3: I don't know how many. You've know, whether there are any.
- 34:27Speaker 9: I think you may have just perjured yourself that you
- 34:29Speaker 9: don't know that there were any. You want to say
- 34:31Speaker 9: that again, that you don't know that there were.
- 34:33Speaker 5: No personal knowledge of this matter. I think what I
- 34:36Speaker 5: said the last time.
- 34:37Speaker 9: You've had two years to find out.
- 34:41Speaker 11: I don't know. I don't know.
- 34:43Speaker 2: Isn't it every politician's famous line when they're brought before
- 34:47Speaker 2: a judgment day panel asking for answers as to what
- 34:51Speaker 2: they clearly do know by virtue of being the Attorney
- 34:55Speaker 2: General of the United States of America. But no, it
- 34:59Speaker 2: was just more obfiscation. Nobody knows anything.
- 35:02Speaker 3: We were entirely unaware.
- 35:05Speaker 2: I loved jd Vance's tweet Vice President Elect today He shared.
- 35:09Speaker 3: A copy of this report by the Justice.
- 35:12Speaker 2: Department with the tweet that said, for those keeping score
- 35:15Speaker 2: at home, this was labeled a dangerous conspiracy theory months ago.
- 35:21Speaker 2: So how do you like those apples? Here we are again, Gabby.
- 35:25Speaker 2: It's a great day to be a conspiracy theorist because
- 35:28Speaker 2: these guys simply pieced together the facts long before those
- 35:32Speaker 2: in charge are willing to admit them. And by the
- 35:35Speaker 2: time it finally comes out, they hope that they've given
- 35:39Speaker 2: themselves enough buffer in terms of time that it will
- 35:43Speaker 2: matter so much so people move on.
- 35:44Speaker 10: But it's been nearly four years, that's.
- 35:46Speaker 11: How long it's been.
- 35:47Speaker 10: Then finally the truth comes out, and as data Evans
- 35:49Speaker 10: pointed out, just a few months ago, you were labeled
- 35:52Speaker 10: a conspiracy theory. Serious, I should say, but that's absolutely wild.
- 35:56Speaker 10: Twenty six confidential informants found on the ground and then
- 35:59Speaker 10: most of whom engage in a legal activity during the chaos.
- 36:02Speaker 10: But you know, it doesn't really surprise me that this
- 36:06Speaker 10: was just kind of dismissed as a conspiracy theory and
- 36:08Speaker 10: it has taken this long for further truth to come out,
- 36:11Speaker 10: because it reminds me of the Hunter Biden laptop story
- 36:14Speaker 10: that was censored, and then eventually it came out that
- 36:16Speaker 10: the FBI did have his lab and the Russian collusion.
- 36:19Speaker 10: Oh my gosh, we've heard this story before, and it's
- 36:21Speaker 10: going to keep happening. We don't have long, guys, January twenty,
- 36:24Speaker 10: it's going to be a different world.
- 36:26Speaker 11: There's only a few weeks to go. A bit more transparency.
- 36:29Speaker 8: You listen carefully to it day that they're talking at
- 36:32Speaker 8: cross purposes, so the person keeps sort of asking about
- 36:35Speaker 8: FBI agents or assets. Now, an informant is not an agent.
- 36:39Speaker 8: An informant is simply someone the FBI gets.
- 36:42Speaker 3: Information to work for this. We're involved, they might might not.
- 36:48Speaker 8: They're just an informant. It's like saying a police informant
- 36:50Speaker 8: is often a crook. They don't work, they're not a
- 36:53Speaker 8: police officer, they don't work for the police.
- 36:55Speaker 3: Three as informants.
- 36:57Speaker 2: Yes, take your point, but it creates is how you
- 37:00Speaker 2: have twenty six informants on the ground and you weren't
- 37:04Speaker 2: across this, You didn't.
- 37:05Speaker 8: Know, So there were only three that the FBI actually
- 37:09Speaker 8: has to be there.
- 37:10Speaker 5: The other twenty three just.
- 37:11Speaker 3: Went of them one of their radicles.
- 37:13Speaker 8: Which makes me think that these guys are people that
- 37:16Speaker 8: the FBI knows they're.
- 37:17Speaker 5: Operating within these movements already.
- 37:19Speaker 8: They sell information or they give information to the FBI
- 37:22Speaker 8: for what in exchange for whatever, I don't know, but
- 37:26Speaker 8: they were there doing that of their own accord. And
- 37:28Speaker 8: they also people who who dub on their mates to
- 37:31Speaker 8: the FBI as well, and so it's.
- 37:33Speaker 3: Not necessarily doubtless. They were not talking about.
- 37:35Speaker 8: FBI employees or agents who were being sent to this
- 37:39Speaker 8: thing to stir up trouble. We're talking about people who
- 37:42Speaker 8: the FBI relies on for information, who in most cases
- 37:46Speaker 8: went there of their own accord. But they are someone
- 37:48Speaker 8: the fbis and.
- 37:49Speaker 3: They didn't admit it till now.
- 37:51Speaker 2: They could have just said instead of instead of waiting
- 37:54Speaker 2: till now, we've got to go to a break, but when.
- 37:57Speaker 3: We come back.
- 37:58Speaker 2: Tim Pallace, Victoria Treasurer he's gone.
- 38:05Speaker 3: Welcome back.
- 38:06Speaker 2: Well, a cricket commentator is under fire for being racist.
- 38:10Speaker 3: The weird thing is she.
- 38:12Speaker 2: As well as the person that she's supposedly slurred, is
- 38:16Speaker 2: also Indian.
- 38:18Speaker 3: Joe, walk me through this. I feel like this is.
- 38:20Speaker 8: The left and say, as one white person to another,
- 38:23Speaker 8: that was incredibly racist of you, this is.
- 38:28Speaker 3: The same race. Can I saw this.
- 38:30Speaker 8: Unfolding in real time last night as it was happening,
- 38:33Speaker 8: and it was just so weird because I kind of
- 38:35Speaker 8: thought the days of sort of Twitter outrage and Twitter
- 38:38Speaker 8: shaming and getting canceled over, and as people were saying
- 38:42Speaker 8: as this was kind of happening, there was this massive
- 38:44Speaker 8: I'm never on Twitter anymore, but for some reason I
- 38:46Speaker 8: ended up back there sort of seeing how this was
- 38:49Speaker 8: all going, and the vitriol was extraordinary, But vitriol was
- 38:54Speaker 8: not towards who you would expect.
- 38:56Speaker 5: So rewind.
- 38:57Speaker 8: This is Fox cricket commentator is Guha I hope I
- 39:01Speaker 8: pronounced her name correctly, And she was commentating on a
- 39:04Speaker 8: game between Australia and India, obviously, and she said of
- 39:08Speaker 8: one of the Indian star players the following, I'll play
- 39:11Speaker 8: the grab.
- 39:13Speaker 16: Well, he's the MVP isn't he most valuable primate? Speak,
- 39:20Speaker 16: he is the one that's going to do all the
- 39:23Speaker 16: talking for India and why so much focus was on
- 39:27Speaker 16: him in the build up to this TESS match.
- 39:31Speaker 8: So there she is calling this player and again, I'm
- 39:33Speaker 8: no massive cricket tragic, so I don't know how all
- 39:35Speaker 8: these people are, but this guy's amazing. And she says
- 39:37Speaker 8: he's the MVP, which is usually of course most valuable player.
- 39:41Speaker 8: She's the MVP, most valuable Primate, and then she goes
- 39:45Speaker 8: on to say what an incredible player he is, that
- 39:48Speaker 8: he has got you know, this match in his hands,
- 39:50Speaker 8: and blah blah blah. That seems an odd thing to
- 39:53Speaker 8: go on and say about someone that you've just slagged off,
- 39:57Speaker 8: you've just learnd she's going on in to say that
- 40:01Speaker 8: this guy is amazing. And so while this is happening, meanwhile,
- 40:05Speaker 8: my very good friends are I think on seven, which
- 40:08Speaker 8: is of course a rival network, so the bit of
- 40:09Speaker 8: a network rivalry there. They put out a story about
- 40:13Speaker 8: this and say that this is a slur. The primate
- 40:16Speaker 8: is a slur, and they also linked or liken it
- 40:20Speaker 8: to the slur from again an Indian player. This is
- 40:24Speaker 8: in two thousand and six or nine or something early
- 40:27Speaker 8: two thousands an Indian player against the Australian Andrew Simon's
- 40:31Speaker 8: where he was called a monkey by an Indian player.
- 40:34Speaker 8: So you had an Indian player being racist towards an
- 40:36Speaker 8: Australian player, and now suddenly is this a form of payback?
- 40:41Speaker 8: Except that Isa Guha is herself Indian. She's an Indian heritage,
- 40:46Speaker 8: so her parents are from Calcutta, I believe. So while
- 40:50Speaker 8: this thing was unfolding online, I was looking at all
- 40:53Speaker 8: these comments, and the comments I reckon at the very
- 40:56Speaker 8: least would have been ten to one against the poor
- 41:01Speaker 8: guy from Channel seven who wrote story and posts story
- 41:04Speaker 8: and for rape and on her side. And they were saying,
- 41:10Speaker 8: don't you get at your idiots.
- 41:11Speaker 5: We're all primates. That's the point. We're all prime's all
- 41:14Speaker 5: human beings.
- 41:15Speaker 11: Well that was my first remembers.
- 41:16Speaker 8: Are primates, And this I think is actually the point
- 41:21Speaker 8: of what Isa Guha was saying. But have her listened
- 41:24Speaker 8: to her apology and she kind of she doesn't seem
- 41:27Speaker 8: to want to dig any deeper, but this is what
- 41:29Speaker 8: she says.
- 41:31Speaker 16: I'm an advocate for equality and someone who has spent
- 41:36Speaker 16: their career thinking about inclusion and understanding in the game.
- 41:41Speaker 16: I'm trying to frame the enormity of his achievements, and
- 41:45Speaker 16: I've chosen the wrong word, and for that I am
- 41:47Speaker 16: deeply sorry. As someone who is also of South Asian heritage,
- 41:52Speaker 16: I hope people would recognize that there was no other
- 41:55Speaker 16: intentional malice there.
- 41:58Speaker 8: So you saying I called someone of my own race
- 42:03Speaker 8: a race as slur, that would mean that she was.
- 42:07Speaker 3: She apologizing for you never apologize.
- 42:10Speaker 8: So she said, may well be that, you know upstairs.
- 42:13Speaker 5: I just said, look, we just got to make sure sorry.
- 42:15Speaker 5: And I've been there.
- 42:16Speaker 8: I've been there, I've done the same thing, and you
- 42:18Speaker 8: just say, all right if people are.
- 42:19Speaker 5: Upset or you know.
- 42:20Speaker 8: But she said prior to that, grab said yesterday in commentary,
- 42:26Speaker 8: I used a word that can be interpreted in a
- 42:28Speaker 8: number of different ways. So I think what she was
- 42:32Speaker 8: actually saying, she hinted it later on, But again I
- 42:34Speaker 8: think they've probably said, don't just don't keep explained to
- 42:37Speaker 8: say sorry, we just move on. But she's actually saying
- 42:40Speaker 8: that this guy is the most amazing player, not of
- 42:44Speaker 8: his team, not of the current are but of the
- 42:46Speaker 8: entire species, the most the most incredible primate out of
- 42:49Speaker 8: all of them, not just the best, but the best
- 42:53Speaker 8: ever been. And there is actually a believer or in
- 42:56Speaker 8: Sydney there is actually a group. There used to be
- 42:58Speaker 8: a lunch club of real sort of senior high up
- 43:02Speaker 8: media figures and legal figures and sort of you know,
- 43:06Speaker 8: the sort of top brass of Sydney, the sort of
- 43:08Speaker 8: people who would.
- 43:09Speaker 5: Go to the Ustai Club or whatever.
- 43:11Speaker 8: And guess what this group of elites called themselves, the primates.
- 43:15Speaker 8: They and so again, So these are the sort of you.
- 43:20Speaker 8: This is what Richard Dawkin's It's.
- 43:21Speaker 2: Really all about perception, isn't it, Gabby. And if someone
- 43:25Speaker 2: wants to be offended, they're going to find a like
- 43:28Speaker 2: Channel seven did all. This is a story, Let's splash
- 43:31Speaker 2: it everywhere. It's so heartening to know that the vast
- 43:34Speaker 2: majority of the people were saying this is b completely agree.
- 43:38Speaker 10: I was really pleased to know that everyone that you
- 43:39Speaker 10: were seeing supporting her. We all heard the grab and
- 43:44Speaker 10: it's so awkward in her apology that she has to
- 43:46Speaker 10: clarify I'm of Indian heritage. The player I was talking
- 43:48Speaker 10: about was an Indian heritage. Anyone who's been watching or
- 43:51Speaker 10: following this from this art can see that, so I
- 43:55Speaker 10: don't even know where it came from. So what some
- 43:57Speaker 10: people on online.
- 44:01Speaker 11: Channel seven round with it.
- 44:02Speaker 10: It's rather that you had to clarify it, though, and
- 44:05Speaker 10: I feel for her apologizing.
- 44:06Speaker 11: It's a hard thing to do.
- 44:07Speaker 10: But I'm glad to know that everyone is behinding her
- 44:10Speaker 10: because we all heard her from the very beginning. She
- 44:12Speaker 10: was talking her him up, saying that he's the MVP.
- 44:16Speaker 3: Good honor to queen not Queensland for once.
- 44:19Speaker 2: You're not in the firing heart in Queensland, queens for
- 44:23Speaker 2: you guys to Victoria now, where things don't seem to
- 44:27Speaker 2: be looking up at all, although maybe they will with
- 44:29Speaker 2: the resignation of Treasurer Tim Palace. He's left the job
- 44:34Speaker 2: today after handing down a terrible budget on Friday.
- 44:39Speaker 3: Love the timing, Love the timing. Tim.
- 44:41Speaker 2: He said that his regrets are quote too few to
- 44:46Speaker 2: mention end quote, and that he's leaving the Victorian economy
- 44:50Speaker 2: in I want to get these words right.
- 44:52Speaker 3: A solid and improving condition here he was today.
- 44:58Speaker 17: I think we can look back on on the body
- 45:00Speaker 17: of work and say, well, the economy is solid, the
- 45:06Speaker 17: fiscal position is improving.
- 45:09Speaker 3: And sound.
- 45:13Speaker 2: Really I mean, the state's debt is said to hit
- 45:18Speaker 2: one hundred and eighty seven billion dollars in one of
- 45:22Speaker 2: twenty twenty eight. He tried his best. That was also
- 45:25Speaker 2: a direct quote. He said it right as best. I mean,
- 45:28Speaker 2: this is just I watering Joe that. Once again, here's
- 45:32Speaker 2: a politician who is very much a main player when
- 45:38Speaker 2: it comes to the state of the Victorian economy, and
- 45:42Speaker 2: here he is leaving the job after being treasurer for eons,
- 45:46Speaker 2: saying dead my best, it's solid. Things are going okay,
- 45:51Speaker 2: and yeah, you know what, I've done.
- 45:53Speaker 11: A good job.
- 45:54Speaker 8: Yeah, what is actually more egregious in my I mean,
- 45:57Speaker 8: Victoria's a complete not a basket case.
- 45:59Speaker 5: Obviously it is.
- 46:00Speaker 3: But at least don't pretend it's not.
- 46:02Speaker 5: The I suppose it was the foundation.
- 46:05Speaker 8: The settings are there, the settings are strong, the bones
- 46:08Speaker 8: are there.
- 46:08Speaker 5: We just got to put them.
- 46:12Speaker 8: The inside story here is that Tim Pallace was, in
- 46:17Speaker 8: the darkest days of the Andrews government, the leading figure
- 46:20Speaker 8: of the Victorian right, which itself is a basket case
- 46:23Speaker 8: now because it got taken over by the federal branch
- 46:26Speaker 8: because of all the branch stacking and everything, which of
- 46:28Speaker 8: course everyone does. But on the right seem to pay
- 46:30Speaker 8: the price. But so he was a leading figure of
- 46:33Speaker 8: the right. And then when Dan Andrews left and basically
- 46:36Speaker 8: just handed the job to Justin to Allen and there's
- 46:39Speaker 8: a whole bunch of horse trading that went on, and
- 46:41Speaker 8: basically Tim Pallas and a handful of other MPs went
- 46:45Speaker 8: from the right to the left of the party. Now
- 46:49Speaker 8: that is you might call that ratting on the ticket.
- 46:52Speaker 8: That is a capital offense, that is absolutely unforgivable. To
- 46:57Speaker 8: go from the right to the left is the greatest
- 47:00Speaker 8: sin you can commit in the Labor Party. To go
- 47:02Speaker 8: from the left to the right is what all smart
- 47:03Speaker 8: people do, and I encourage every to.
- 47:06Speaker 5: Go the other way. Terrible, terrible.
- 47:07Speaker 8: So and he obviously did that it would seem to
- 47:12Speaker 8: keep the job of treasurer after the premier it took over.
- 47:15Speaker 8: So he sort of sold his soul to the godless
- 47:19Speaker 8: socialist left faction of Victoria. But the interesting thing is
- 47:22Speaker 8: that all this happened as the right said no, we're
- 47:27Speaker 8: not going to just let your hand over. We are
- 47:28Speaker 8: going to put forward our candidate, their Transport minister I
- 47:31Speaker 8: think it was at the time, but they basically said
- 47:34Speaker 8: we're not going down without.
- 47:34Speaker 5: A fight anymore.
- 47:35Speaker 8: We're not playing along now that Andrews has gone and
- 47:37Speaker 8: his reign of terror is over. And Palace's branch, of course,
- 47:42Speaker 8: Palace's seat, which I think is Werribee, western suburbs, good
- 47:45Speaker 8: working class seat, working class people who of course turned
- 47:48Speaker 8: against the government after what they put them through during COVID.
- 47:52Speaker 8: But his palace still held on. But that seat and
- 47:55Speaker 8: the others like it will all still be right wing.
- 47:58Speaker 8: The branches will still be right dominated, and so technically
- 48:02Speaker 8: the guvernment goodbye less senior left MP. And when they
- 48:07Speaker 8: replace him, assuming that Laby can still hold a seat
- 48:10Speaker 8: like Weerribee, it will almost certainly be an MP from
- 48:13Speaker 8: the right, and so there will be This is the
- 48:15Speaker 8: sort of first, hopefully the first step, and this slow
- 48:19Speaker 8: process of attrition where the Right gets control back of
- 48:22Speaker 8: Victoria because, believe it or not, when Dan Andrews became
- 48:26Speaker 8: premier and for the first few years of his premiership,
- 48:29Speaker 8: the Right had the numbers in Victoria and.
- 48:32Speaker 2: This could be the start of a build back better.
- 48:35Speaker 8: And then because he is as cunning as a fox,
- 48:38Speaker 8: he was able to just clawback power, clawback power via
- 48:42Speaker 8: various things, and eventually This could be the.
- 48:45Speaker 2: Very beginning of a build back better by the right
- 48:47Speaker 2: in Victoria.
- 48:48Speaker 3: Come on, guys, you can do it. We've got to
- 48:50Speaker 3: go to a break.
- 48:51Speaker 2: But when we come back, first lady gets slapped down
- 48:53Speaker 2: by a kid saying, lady, it's Merry Christmas, not happy Holidays.
- 49:01Speaker 2: First Lady, Jill Biden was attending a Marine Corps special
- 49:05Speaker 2: Christmas get together for all the Marines and their family.
- 49:09Speaker 2: And someone's raising these kids right, because they weren't taking
- 49:13Speaker 2: any of these happy holiday nonsense from the first lady.
- 49:19Speaker 3: Hello, how are you Hi? Happy holidays?
- 49:23Speaker 5: Hi, Happy Christmas?
- 49:26Speaker 2: Yes, I love that authoritative I love it too, And yeah,
- 49:31Speaker 2: exactly the kid.
- 49:32Speaker 11: He's so strong, isn't he.
- 49:33Speaker 10: But haven't you noticed the way that Joe Biden speaks
- 49:36Speaker 10: to the kids? Oh yes, Hi, Hi, it's the same
- 49:38Speaker 10: way she speaks to Joe Biden.
- 49:39Speaker 11: You did it, Joe, You hands it all the questions.
- 49:43Speaker 10: No, it is great to see the kids putting Jill
- 49:46Speaker 10: Biden back in her place, I guess, which is quite funny.
- 49:49Speaker 10: And We're not going to see the same kind of
- 49:51Speaker 10: interaction when Trump's back in, are we.
- 49:54Speaker 3: He'll be right on the ball with that. He is
- 49:56Speaker 3: big on Merry Christmas.
- 49:58Speaker 2: That's it from us, but stage he earned The Sky's
- 50:01Speaker 2: documentary The Real Cost of Metzera
