- 0:00Speaker 1: Fight song. You got this. Tackle the week. It's Monday,
- 0:02Speaker 1: 106.7 Light FM. Motivation right there.
- 0:05Speaker 2: Well, we need it, don't we?
- 0:06Speaker 1: We sure do.
- 0:07Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah.
- 0:07Speaker 1: It's Cubby. Nina's in for Christine under the weather. Producer
- 0:10Speaker 1: Kristen producing in the background. I hope everybody had a
- 0:13Speaker 1: great weekend. I had a fantastic weekend. Although we were busy,
- 0:17Speaker 1: I got to sleep in. Oh. Anytime I can go
- 0:20Speaker 1: past 3.30 in the morning, it's a win.
- 0:23Speaker 2: So what is sleeping in for you then? Like 4
- 0:24Speaker 2: or 5?
- 0:26Speaker 1: Well, I do wake up around 4, but then I
- 0:28Speaker 1: realize it's not a work day. And then I wake
- 0:30Speaker 1: up around 7. Ooh, that's late. 7.15.
- 0:32Speaker 2: I feel late about that.
- 0:34Speaker 1: Well, now it's all about the kids. So if the
- 0:36Speaker 1: kids are sleeping in, then we're sleeping in.
- 0:37Speaker 2: Do they sleep until 7.15?
- 0:38Speaker 1: 6.45, 7.
- 0:38Speaker 2: But they'll jump up in the bed.
- 0:42Speaker 1: And just kind of chill.
- 0:43Speaker 2: Do they ever go in and just make a waffle
- 0:45Speaker 2: or something? Like a frozen waffle?
- 0:46Speaker 1: Not yet. The house would be completely burned down if
- 0:49Speaker 1: they even attempted that.
- 0:50Speaker 2: You're not going to put a toaster on the floor?
- 0:52Speaker 1: I'm sure we're not far from those days.
- 0:54Speaker 2: Yeah, you probably are near those days.
- 0:55Speaker 1: I was so tired on Friday. I had one job.
- 0:59Speaker 1: Take my daughter to tennis practice.
- 1:02Speaker 2: How'd that go?
- 1:03Speaker 1: It went so bad. She did great, but guess what
- 1:05Speaker 1: I forgot? The tennis racket.
- 1:08Speaker 2: You kind of need that.
- 1:09Speaker 1: One job.
- 1:10Speaker 2: Now she's playing handball, Cubby.
- 1:12Speaker 1: It was handball. But the teacher was very cool. He
- 1:15Speaker 1: let us borrow something for a few minutes. Then my
- 1:17Speaker 1: wife was nearby, so she brought the tennis racket. But
- 1:20Speaker 1: a shout out to the coach of the tennis practice team.
- 1:23Speaker 1: His name is Luis. Okay. Super cool dude. And we
- 1:27Speaker 1: were talking and, you know, young looking guy.
- 1:30Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:30Speaker 1: And I'm like, do you have any kids? Because he's
- 1:32Speaker 1: so good with the kids. He's like, I got nine.
- 1:36Speaker 2: His nine kids.
- 1:37Speaker 1: Nine kids.
- 1:37Speaker 2: Nine kids.
- 1:38Speaker 1: I think the oldest is 34, I believe, and he
- 1:41Speaker 1: started at 19 making kids.
- 1:44Speaker 2: Making kids.
- 1:46Speaker 1: I did the math.
- 1:47Speaker 2: Making part of the kids.
- 1:48Speaker 1: Louisa, if you're listening, I believe you told me 34
- 1:50Speaker 1: is your oldest.
- 1:51Speaker 2: That's crazy.
- 1:53Speaker 1: Mainly all of them are out of the house. A
- 1:54Speaker 1: couple of them are home, but he said he has
- 1:56Speaker 1: one that's a cop and one that's a marine.
- 1:57Speaker 2: Is he a grandparent? At 34, he should be a grandparent.
- 2:01Speaker 1: I think he is a grandparent. I'm not sure, but
- 2:03Speaker 1: nine kids.
- 2:03Speaker 2: He's making some people. He's making like a crowd over there.
- 2:06Speaker 1: He really is. Making a new football team. How was
- 2:09Speaker 1: your weekend? Did you work?
- 2:11Speaker 2: I did work. And then yesterday we went to, I
- 2:15Speaker 2: just kind of wanted to go downtown. The fire museum,
- 2:18Speaker 2: New York City Fire Museum, reopened after a long renovation.
- 2:20Speaker 2: So we went.
- 2:21Speaker 1: You told me that's a good kid place.
- 2:22Speaker 2: It is a good kid place. It's not very big,
- 2:24Speaker 2: but they have old fire trucks in there. They have
- 2:27Speaker 2: one you can get in the cab. And so all
- 2:28Speaker 2: these kids were getting in there and like pushing the
- 2:30Speaker 2: buttons and stuff and making noise. Did one of them start? No,
- 2:34Speaker 2: I didn't start. They have like the old school kind
- 2:37Speaker 2: of 1890s, 1880s fire trucks, like the Gangs of New
- 2:40Speaker 2: York era fire trucks in there.
- 2:41Speaker 1: Oh, that's cool.
- 2:42Speaker 2: It's pretty cool. Yeah, lots of really cool stuff, like
- 2:45Speaker 2: the old hats they used to use, old awards. Do
- 2:48Speaker 2: you know that in the old days, if you were insured,
- 2:51Speaker 2: this is how fire companies started, insurance, you'd buy insurance
- 2:54Speaker 2: for your house, and insurance companies would hire people just
- 2:57Speaker 2: to protect those houses. Yes. And no other houses would
- 3:00Speaker 2: be protected. And eventually they realized, well, if the house
- 3:02Speaker 2: next door is burning, we've got to help that one
- 3:04Speaker 2: because it might burn our client. So that's how it started.
- 3:06Speaker 2: You paid for someone to come.
- 3:09Speaker 1: Would they always be hanging out at the house for safety?
- 3:11Speaker 1: Or just if you did have a fire, they would
- 3:13Speaker 1: only go to your house. But if you had a fire,
- 3:14Speaker 1: you didn't have insurance, they wouldn't go to your house.
- 3:16Speaker 2: They wouldn't go to your house. You had a sign.
- 3:17Speaker 1: But it wasn't like they were hanging out in front
- 3:18Speaker 1: of your house all the time.
- 3:19Speaker 2: You had a sign like this place is insured by so-and-so.
- 3:21Speaker 2: And I guess the insurance companies knew the map because
- 3:23Speaker 2: how many people were, you know, 100 people in a town?
- 3:26Speaker 2: So that's how it started. Isn't that interesting?
- 3:28Speaker 1: Well, if that rule was still happening in 2026, you
- 3:30Speaker 1: could make, like, ChatGPT could make a fake sign. Put
- 3:34Speaker 1: it in front of your house.
- 3:35Speaker 2: I'm insured.
- 3:36Speaker 1: I'm insured. It would look just like the other signs.
- 3:38Speaker 2: Then you've got to pay for it afterwards, though.
- 3:39Speaker 1: That's true.
- 3:40Speaker 2: That's true.
- 3:40Speaker 1: Interesting. Interesting. This is in Soho, you said?
- 3:42Speaker 2: It's in Soho. It's on Spring Street, just on the
- 3:45Speaker 2: other side of Eric.
- 3:46Speaker 1: Called the Fire Museum?
- 3:47Speaker 2: It's called the New York Fire Museum.
- 3:49Speaker 1: That's pretty cool. All right. We're coming to speak at
- 3:50Speaker 1: a cool, two pretty cool things. What is that jingling,
- 3:53Speaker 1: by the way?
- 3:53Speaker 2: Oh, it's my keys. Oh, okay. In case I got
- 3:55Speaker 2: to go.
- 3:56Speaker 1: All right. All right, two pretty cool things coming up
- 3:59Speaker 1: next on Light FM.
- 4:00Speaker 3: More Covey and Christine. And the great music variety you expect.
- 4:03Speaker 3: Next on Light FM.
- 4:06Speaker 2: I need to tell you two things.
- 4:08Speaker 1: Covey and Christine's. Two pretty cool things. Christine is under
- 4:13Speaker 1: the weather. We got Nina Del Rio sitting in. Are
- 4:15Speaker 1: you ready for my cool thing?
- 4:16Speaker 2: Do it.
- 4:17Speaker 1: Regular cups of tea can help speed recovery from stress.
- 4:21Speaker 1: Researchers at University College London said people who drank balanced
- 4:26Speaker 1: tea And I'm sorry, black tea. I have my glasses on,
- 4:30Speaker 1: but for some reason I saw balance. Black tea. Drink
- 4:33Speaker 1: black tea four times a day for six weeks. And
- 4:37Speaker 1: those people that did that had lower levels of stress
- 4:40Speaker 1: hormone cortisol. And the tea drinkers also reported a greater
- 4:44Speaker 1: feeling of relaxation after performing tasks designed to raise stress levels.
- 4:49Speaker 1: So they purposely made you do things that would be
- 4:51Speaker 1: stressful because they've been drinking the black tea. They were like,
- 4:54Speaker 1: I don't care.
- 4:55Speaker 2: What, they push you in front of a train or something?
- 4:56Speaker 2: What'd they do?
- 4:57Speaker 1: Yeah, let her hit me. I've been drinking tea.
- 5:00Speaker 2: That's a fair amount of caffeine, actually, which is interesting.
- 5:02Speaker 1: What, black tea?
- 5:03Speaker 2: Yeah, as opposed to herbal tea, which is just herbs
- 5:05Speaker 2: in a cup.
- 5:06Speaker 1: Oh, good point.
- 5:07Speaker 2: Huh.
- 5:07Speaker 1: What do you have?
- 5:08Speaker 2: Well, if Christine is down with the flu, maybe she
- 5:10Speaker 2: should have some mustard. Put mustard on your sandwich because
- 5:14Speaker 2: a dollop of mustard every day will strengthen your viral
- 5:17Speaker 2: immunity in as little as one week, according to UCLA research.
- 5:21Speaker 2: The secret ingredient there would be turmeric. The yellow spice
- 5:24Speaker 2: found in all mustard varieties. I guess you could also
- 5:27Speaker 2: just have turmeric.
- 5:28Speaker 1: All right. Black tea and mustard. That's your diet today. Delicious.
- 5:31Speaker 1: We've got you covered. Light FM.
- 5:33Speaker 3: Mort Covey and Christine. And the great music variety you expect.
- 5:36Speaker 3: Next on Light FM.
- 5:37Speaker 1: You know, on Light FM and all of the iHeartRadio
- 5:40Speaker 1: stations across the country, we have a kind of a
- 5:42Speaker 1: new slogan. We've been saying it. Guaranteed human. And the
- 5:46Speaker 1: reason we've been saying that is you don't know who
- 5:48Speaker 1: to trust anymore because with AI coming for us, We
- 5:50Speaker 1: want to make sure that we're telling people, hey, here
- 5:52Speaker 1: at Light FM or whatever radio station you listen to
- 5:54Speaker 1: in the iHeartRadio community, we are live. We are real people.
- 5:58Speaker 1: I'm hitting buttons, starting songs. We are all... Uh, uh, uh, uh. What?
- 6:04Speaker 2: That's me. That's my robot.
- 6:06Speaker 1: Oh, you're acting like I'm skipping or something. Yeah, yeah.
- 6:08Speaker 2: No, don't scare me. I'm real.
- 6:10Speaker 1: We're real.
- 6:11Speaker 2: Real sound, real pictures, real... Although sometimes.
- 6:15Speaker 1: But I do want to.
- 6:16Speaker 2: AI can be useful.
- 6:16Speaker 1: I want to talk about ChatGPT, though, and how AI
- 6:19Speaker 1: can be useful.
- 6:20Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 6:21Speaker 1: And hopefully it won't take our jobs one day. But,
- 6:24Speaker 1: I mean, heck, I'm using ChatGPT to look up things.
- 6:28Speaker 2: I know.
- 6:29Speaker 1: Help with my kids' first grade homework that I don't understand.
- 6:31Speaker 2: I just, and I, you know what?
- 6:33Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 6:33Speaker 2: Oh, you did the other day.
- 6:34Speaker 1: Yes. She had to put together like a bunch of
- 6:37Speaker 1: sight words. I don't know what order they went in.
- 6:39Speaker 1: And she actually knew, but I didn't know if she
- 6:42Speaker 1: was doing it right.
- 6:43Speaker 2: You didn't know if it was like long vowel, short vowel,
- 6:44Speaker 2: or what they wanted you to do?
- 6:45Speaker 1: I understand.
- 6:46Speaker 2: Did AI solve the problem? I took a.
- 6:47Speaker 1: Picture of it. And it worked? And I said, make
- 6:49Speaker 1: this board make sense to me.
- 6:50Speaker 2: Oh, I've never done the picture part.
- 6:52Speaker 1: But I didn't tell my daughter.
- 6:54Speaker 2: Of course not.
- 6:54Speaker 1: And so I just watched what she did. Yeah. And
- 6:57Speaker 1: if she was off by one, I'd be like, no,
- 6:58Speaker 1: move that here, move that here.
- 6:59Speaker 2: You could have solved it. You just went for the shortcut.
- 7:02Speaker 2: That's how I like to think about it. Like I
- 7:04Speaker 2: write all the time, but I have to say every
- 7:07Speaker 2: once in a while these days and every once around,
- 7:09Speaker 2: meaning like every other day, I'm writing something and I
- 7:12Speaker 2: just don't have the time and I put it in
- 7:13Speaker 2: there and I go make this better. And it makes
- 7:15Speaker 2: it most of the time makes it better.
- 7:16Speaker 1: I know. I know. But sometimes you have to be
- 7:18Speaker 1: careful because it writes like you don't.
- 7:20Speaker 2: Oh, you got to check it. Yeah.
- 7:21Speaker 1: You have to write like you don't speak. Yeah.
- 7:23Speaker 2: You sound like a robot.
- 7:24Speaker 1: But correct.
- 7:25Speaker 2: But also now the verb in the commas in the
- 7:26Speaker 2: right spot.
- 7:27Speaker 1: Right. Yeah. Have you used it recently?
- 7:29Speaker 2: Probably yesterday. Really?
- 7:31Speaker 1: Yeah. So AI is affecting a lot of people's lives.
- 7:36Speaker 1: Some people are saying on Reddit, it's made my job
- 7:39Speaker 1: harder as it's empowered my junior level coworkers to copy
- 7:43Speaker 1: paste AI slop without knowing what they're doing. Ultimately, I
- 7:47Speaker 1: have to clean up the problems they cause. These are
- 7:49Speaker 1: from people from Reddit.
- 7:50Speaker 2: This one I agree with, too. It's ruined animal videos.
- 7:53Speaker 2: You know, people have like all these, you know, you're
- 7:55Speaker 2: on Instagram and it has like a sheep kissing an elephant. Yeah.
- 7:57Speaker 1: You don't believe it anymore.
- 7:58Speaker 2: Well, it'll say AI generated on a lot of them.
- 8:01Speaker 2: You can see that.
- 8:02Speaker 1: Not all of them, though.
- 8:02Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 8:03Speaker 1: That's the problem, though. You're right. You just don't know
- 8:05Speaker 1: if it really happened or was it fake. Google search
- 8:10Speaker 1: is significantly worse. I guess that's true.
- 8:12Speaker 2: Well, they're all sponsored now, too. Do you know what
- 8:14Speaker 2: I mean?
- 8:15Speaker 1: Yeah, that's true.
- 8:15Speaker 2: Whatever shows at the top probably has money. It's the
- 8:17Speaker 2: bigger company.
- 8:18Speaker 1: But if you have a quick question, are you more
- 8:19Speaker 1: likely to go to ChatGPT than you are Google?
- 8:21Speaker 2: I still Google. I don't go to ChatGPT, to be
- 8:23Speaker 2: honest with you. You can still use Google AI to
- 8:25Speaker 2: just fix a sentence.
- 8:26Speaker 1: That's true. Again, on Reddit, I'm a graphic designer. It's
- 8:31Speaker 1: ruining everything. Someone said it's made a large portion of
- 8:35Speaker 1: people who are already not very sharp noticeably dumber and
- 8:39Speaker 1: somehow even more arrogant in their ignorance. That's one thing
- 8:42Speaker 1: I will say about AI. It's not always great.
- 8:46Speaker 2: It's not always great. The synthetic voice thing has actually
- 8:49Speaker 2: taken a lot of people's jobs who do... you know,
- 8:51Speaker 2: speak for a living or read for a living or
- 8:52Speaker 2: talk for a living. Yeah. So even if you use
- 8:55Speaker 2: it for, you know, convenience sake, like trying to fix
- 8:58Speaker 2: a sentence or whatever, or this guy who was saying reports,
- 9:01Speaker 2: you have to check them.
- 9:02Speaker 1: So I'm curious, has AI directly affected your life so far?
- 9:05Speaker 1: Hit us up on text 44363. And I'm very proud
- 9:09Speaker 1: again to say that our company, you know, I love
- 9:11Speaker 1: when they said we're going to come out with guaranteed
- 9:13Speaker 1: human I was applauding that.
- 9:15Speaker 2: Who gets the guarantee? Like if there's a robot, do
- 9:18Speaker 2: we make money? Who gets the money?
- 9:20Speaker 1: Well, no, they're saying that's true. Don't scare me now.
- 9:23Speaker 1: All right.
- 9:25Speaker 3: More Cubby and Christine. And the great music variety you expect.
- 9:28Speaker 3: Next on Light FM.
- 9:29Speaker 1: I want to play a game of Would You Rather.
- 9:31Speaker 1: I haven't done that in a while.
- 9:32Speaker 2: I like that game.
- 9:33Speaker 1: You like that game? Yeah. 106.7 Light FM. Cubby with
- 9:36Speaker 1: Nina Del Rio in for Christine.
- 9:38Speaker 2: I'm just playing it with you, right? Okay.
- 9:40Speaker 1: Yeah, producer Kristen can't talk, you know, but she can
- 9:42Speaker 1: chime in, maybe raise a hand or something like that.
- 9:43Speaker 2: Yeah, she can give us gestures.
- 9:45Speaker 1: No, but a friend of mine and I were thinking
- 9:47Speaker 1: about some questions and they're conversation starters. They're kind of
- 9:50Speaker 1: conversation starters. You know, you can do this at work.
- 9:52Speaker 2: Okay.
- 9:53Speaker 1: But yeah, would you rather drink old milk or eat
- 9:56Speaker 1: moldy cheese? Oh. I have what most people said and
- 9:59Speaker 1: you tell me. what you want to do, and.
- 10:00Speaker 2: I'll see if you match up. Well, you can always
- 10:02Speaker 2: cut the moldy cheese off.
- 10:04Speaker 1: Yeah. No, no, it has to be all mold.
- 10:06Speaker 2: You have to eat it?
- 10:07Speaker 1: That's your choice. You can only drink old milk or
- 10:09Speaker 1: old moldy cheese.
- 10:10Speaker 2: Moldy cheese.
- 10:11Speaker 1: Okay, only 43% said moldy cheese. 57% would rather drink
- 10:15Speaker 1: the old milk.
- 10:16Speaker 2: Do you drink the old milk?
- 10:17Speaker 1: If I had to, yeah. Kristen's making a throw-up face.
- 10:22Speaker 2: Like, why do we have to make that choice anyway?
- 10:24Speaker 1: Yuck. It's would you rather. They're both bad choices, so
- 10:27Speaker 1: one has to be a little bit better than the other.
- 10:29Speaker 1: Would you rather be kidnapped by another human or abducted?
- 10:32Speaker 2: Abducted by aliens?
- 10:33Speaker 1: Abducted. I can't say it. Oh, my God.
- 10:35Speaker 2: I'm having a stroke. Yeah, that's a hard one.
- 10:37Speaker 1: Abducted. Abducted.
- 10:38Speaker 2: Oh, goodness. Is that it?
- 10:40Speaker 1: Abducted. Would you rather be abducted by aliens or kidnapped
- 10:43Speaker 1: by another human? Aliens. Yeah, 62% want to be abducted
- 10:47Speaker 1: by aliens.
- 10:47Speaker 2: We trust aliens more than we trust humans.
- 10:49Speaker 1: Okay. Would you rather only eat sushi for the rest
- 10:52Speaker 1: of your life or only eat junk food for the
- 10:55Speaker 1: rest of your life?
- 10:56Speaker 2: Oh. Sushi?
- 10:59Speaker 1: Well, 65% said junk food. 35% said sushi.
- 11:03Speaker 2: I feel like I could live.
- 11:04Speaker 1: Kristen, what was that reaction you were giving? Like, Junk food?
- 11:08Speaker 2: She'd do junk food. Yeah, but you could.
- 11:10Speaker 1: There's enough... But there's so many, like, veggie people out
- 11:12Speaker 1: there and just not... Or health nuts out there. Yeah.
- 11:15Speaker 1: They'll probably always pick the sushi.
- 11:17Speaker 2: Well, the junk food... I'd do junk food. The junk food...
- 11:19Speaker 2: I tell you what, I just get sick of junk
- 11:20Speaker 2: food after a little bit. Although it's a much bigger...
- 11:24Speaker 2: You get sick of sushi. tray of food. Like, are
- 11:26Speaker 2: we talking, like, pudding all the way to gummies and
- 11:28Speaker 2: everything in between?
- 11:29Speaker 1: Everything.
- 11:29Speaker 2: Or Doritos? Everything.
- 11:30Speaker 1: All things candy or sushi, all your life.
- 11:32Speaker 2: Oh, maybe the junk food.
- 11:34Speaker 1: Okay. Would you rather have Christmas twice a year... Or
- 11:37Speaker 1: have your birthday twice a year?
- 11:38Speaker 2: Birthday.
- 11:39Speaker 1: 47% said birthday. 53% said Christmas.
- 11:43Speaker 2: Birthday people are greedy.
- 11:45Speaker 1: Would you love to be able to fly or be
- 11:48Speaker 1: able to read minds?
- 11:51Speaker 2: Oh, that's a tough one.
- 11:52Speaker 1: Kristen wants to read minds. Oh.
- 11:57Speaker 2: What would you want? What do you want?
- 11:58Speaker 1: Probably read minds, but if I was a kid, I
- 12:00Speaker 1: would have said fly.
- 12:01Speaker 2: I used to love the idea of flying. Can I
- 12:03Speaker 2: just get out of here whenever?
- 12:04Speaker 1: Do you go with flying?
- 12:07Speaker 2: I might go with flying.
- 12:09Speaker 1: 53% would rather not fly than read minds, 47%. Let's see.
- 12:16Speaker 1: Would you rather swim in a pool full of Nutella
- 12:19Speaker 1: or a pool full of maple syrup?
- 12:22Speaker 2: Nutella, maybe.
- 12:23Speaker 1: It'd be thick, though, right?
- 12:25Speaker 2: If you get sunk to the bottom, how do you
- 12:26Speaker 2: get out?
- 12:27Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 12:27Speaker 2: That seems scary.
- 12:27Speaker 1: The quicksand, right?
- 12:28Speaker 2: Oh, that seems scary.
- 12:29Speaker 1: Are you Nutella, Kristen? Nutella?
- 12:31Speaker 2: But if I can fly, maybe it's okay.
- 12:33Speaker 1: 70% said Nutella and 30% said maple syrup. You want
- 12:37Speaker 1: to keep going?
- 12:38Speaker 2: How many more you got?
- 12:39Speaker 1: Would you rather... I got like 23 more. Oh, my gosh.
- 12:43Speaker 1: Would you rather stay in during a snow day or
- 12:47Speaker 1: build a fort outside?
- 12:48Speaker 2: I stay in. Stay in. Stay in.
- 12:52Speaker 1: I know we're not 12 years old, are you?
- 12:53Speaker 2: We're not seven, yeah.
- 12:55Speaker 1: Would you rather be nine feet tall or nine inches tall?
- 13:01Speaker 1: This is the last one. Nine feet or nine inches?
- 13:04Speaker 2: Nine feet or nine inches.
- 13:05Speaker 1: Kristen says nine feet.
- 13:07Speaker 2: I think if you're nine inches, you're going to get
- 13:08Speaker 2: stepped on in New York. Yeah, but- You can hide.
- 13:11Speaker 1: It could benefit them.
- 13:11Speaker 2: Remember the Incredible Shrinking Woman, that movie with Lily Tomlin?
- 13:14Speaker 1: Great movie.
- 13:15Speaker 2: Loved that movie.
- 13:15Speaker 1: I wish I was a little bar soap.
- 13:17Speaker 3: Yes.
- 13:18Speaker 2: She lives in the dollhouse. Oh my gosh, it's the
- 13:21Speaker 2: best movie.
- 13:22Speaker 1: So I think if you were small, it would have
- 13:24Speaker 1: a lot of cool benefits.
- 13:25Speaker 2: If I didn't have to go anywhere. Yeah. But then
- 13:28Speaker 2: your cat can hurt you.
- 13:29Speaker 1: Right, that's true.
- 13:31Speaker 2: Because your cat would hurt you.
- 13:31Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 13:33Speaker 2: So maybe nine feet.
- 13:34Speaker 1: Raid could be sprayed on you.
- 13:35Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly.
- 13:36Speaker 1: You don't know. Okay. Yeah. All right, what do you
- 13:38Speaker 1: have coming up in the news? I don't know if
- 13:39Speaker 1: we can top this, Ward Winningbury.
- 13:41Speaker 2: If you... How do you feel about haggling?
- 13:46Speaker 1: Do I have a choice, haggling or would you rather?
- 13:49Speaker 2: Or sticking to the price, haggling.
- 13:50Speaker 1: All right, we'll talk about haggling and the headlines coming
- 13:52Speaker 1: up next. All right, we're off the rails.
- 13:54Speaker 3: Mort Covey and Christine. And the great music variety you expect.
- 13:57Speaker 3: Next on Light FM.
- 13:59Speaker 1: At a clock on this Monday morning, Christine has the
- 14:01Speaker 1: day off and Nina sitting in. Good morning, Nina.
- 14:04Speaker 2: Good morning. President Trump heads to Nebraska today with midterm
- 14:07Speaker 2: elections just a month away. The Coast Guard is suspending
- 14:10Speaker 2: its search for six people aboard a medical plane that
- 14:12Speaker 2: vanished in the waters off New England yesterday. Six people
- 14:15Speaker 2: unaccounted for are presumed to have died. Roughly 200 people
- 14:18Speaker 2: in Russia are under medical observation due to possible exposure
- 14:21Speaker 2: to plague. A new CDC-led study shows most people with
- 14:25Speaker 2: flu stop isolating when they're still highly contagious just four
- 14:28Speaker 2: days after symptoms begin. The CDC's recommendation is to wait
- 14:31Speaker 2: until flu symptoms have been resolving at least 24 hours
- 14:34Speaker 2: without fever. In sports, the Rangers beat the Mammoth 4-2.
- 14:38Speaker 2: The Liberty lost to the Atlanta Dream 82-92 in Game
- 14:41Speaker 2: 1 of the semifinals. Game 2 is Wednesday. Jets lost
- 14:43Speaker 2: to the Bears 23-12, Giants beat the Cardinals 36-24, and
- 14:47Speaker 2: the Yankees play game two of the ALDS versus the
- 14:50Speaker 2: Rays tonight. They lost game one.
- 14:53Speaker 1: Oh, and... Sorry, I knew there was one more, so
- 14:57Speaker 1: I was pausing.
- 14:57Speaker 2: Well, I looked up at you and you were not looking.
- 14:59Speaker 1: I'm finding out more would-you-rather questions.
- 15:01Speaker 2: Oh, that's good. They're so fascinating. But would you, do
- 15:04Speaker 2: you haggle? How about that? Well, other cultures, a lot
- 15:07Speaker 2: of places, you know, you travel and people will argue
- 15:10Speaker 2: about price. Americans generally like to stick to price tags.
- 15:13Speaker 2: Until now, market researchers find out 72% of Americans now
- 15:17Speaker 2: will haggle versus 33%.
- 15:20Speaker 1: Happy anniversary, by the way, to Facebook Marketplace.
- 15:23Speaker 2: Oh, yeah.
- 15:23Speaker 1: Ten years old this week. And, you know, anywhere online
- 15:26Speaker 1: you can kind of haggle, can't you?
- 15:27Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah.
- 15:27Speaker 1: Hey, I like what you're advertising. Can I get it
- 15:30Speaker 1: for this?
- 15:30Speaker 2: I mean, if you're talking about things like Poshmark.
- 15:32Speaker 1: All that, yeah.
- 15:33Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 15:33Speaker 1: Do you haggle or just buy it? I just buy it.
- 15:37Speaker 3: Yeah. More Cubby and Christine. And the great music variety
- 15:41Speaker 3: you expect. Next on Light FM.
- 15:43Speaker 1: 106.7 Light FM. Happy Monday. Cubby with Nina Del Rio
- 15:47Speaker 1: filling in for Christine today who's under the weather.
- 15:49Speaker 2: All right.
- 15:50Speaker 1: I got to ask because if you're a boomer or
- 15:53Speaker 1: Gen Xer, you might remember choosing between smoking or non-smoking
- 15:57Speaker 1: at a restaurant or airplane or whatever. But at restaurants now,
- 16:02Speaker 1: some places might be doing the same thing with cell phones.
- 16:05Speaker 1: What do you think of this? As we all know,
- 16:07Speaker 1: Many people don't know how to be discreet when they're
- 16:10Speaker 1: talking on the cell phone.
- 16:11Speaker 3: Yes.
- 16:12Speaker 1: And it can become pretty disruptive. And some restaurants and
- 16:15Speaker 1: bars have started asking people to put their phones into
- 16:17Speaker 1: lockable pouches when they arrive, like some concerts and shows
- 16:21Speaker 1: have been doing. And this might become a thing. Others,
- 16:26Speaker 1: it says here, offer perks for voluntary giving up their phones,
- 16:29Speaker 1: like a bottle of wine or some Chick-fil-A locations have
- 16:32Speaker 1: a cell phone coops challenge. Where groups can stash their
- 16:36Speaker 1: phones in a box in exchange for free ice cream.
- 16:39Speaker 1: So it's already kind of happening right now. I got
- 16:43Speaker 1: to tell you, I kind of like it because I
- 16:47Speaker 1: have a hard time giving up my phone.
- 16:48Speaker 2: Oh.
- 16:49Speaker 1: But when I do, like just give me 15 minutes
- 16:51Speaker 1: without it when I come off my little shaking fit.
- 16:55Speaker 2: Yes.
- 16:56Speaker 1: I calmed down. I realized I actually don't need it.
- 16:58Speaker 2: Do you need to have it, though, in a pouch?
- 17:00Speaker 2: Can you just, like, put it in your pocket for
- 17:02Speaker 2: 15 minutes? Or is it that temptation?
- 17:04Speaker 1: No, because it's the temptation. It's too easy just to
- 17:06Speaker 1: grab it. I need it somewhat inconvenient.
- 17:09Speaker 2: I feel like maybe it should be voluntary. The sections
- 17:12Speaker 2: I get, I actually... I don't... And for concerts, everybody
- 17:15Speaker 2: has their phone up. Like, you're not looking at the
- 17:16Speaker 2: show anymore. You're just looking at your phone.
- 17:18Speaker 1: Nobody's enjoying the moment.
- 17:18Speaker 2: And it's always in your face, you know, somebody else's phone. Right.
- 17:21Speaker 2: So that I actually understand. But at a restaurant... I
- 17:25Speaker 2: don't know if I want to put my phone... I
- 17:28Speaker 2: just leave it in my purse so I don't even
- 17:30Speaker 2: touch it.
- 17:30Speaker 1: Right.
- 17:31Speaker 2: And I find it rude when someone's... Unless they have something,
- 17:33Speaker 2: they say, oh, I'm waiting for a call from my kid.
- 17:36Speaker 1: I was thinking about that. If my wife and I
- 17:39Speaker 1: go on a date night, you might need the phone
- 17:41Speaker 1: on you.
- 17:41Speaker 2: You might need it.
- 17:42Speaker 1: But if I throw that out, say I don't really
- 17:45Speaker 1: need the phone, I think if I had a choice
- 17:46Speaker 1: at a restaurant... Cell phone section or no cell phone section.
- 17:50Speaker 1: I would try the no cell phone section just to
- 17:52Speaker 1: go back to 1987.
- 17:54Speaker 2: But you need your phone actually taken away from you?
- 17:56Speaker 1: You do need it taken away. I get now. So
- 17:58Speaker 1: I have an Apple Watch, too.
- 18:00Speaker 2: Oh.
- 18:00Speaker 1: And if your phone is close enough, you can still
- 18:03Speaker 1: get a text message on your phone. So I can
- 18:06Speaker 1: maybe have that on me if there is an emergency.
- 18:09Speaker 1: But I don't know. The question is, do you think
- 18:12Speaker 1: more restaurants will be doing no phone sections? Kind of
- 18:15Speaker 1: like a modern-day no-smoking section.
- 18:17Speaker 2: I don't mind a no-phone section. I just think putting
- 18:19Speaker 2: it in the pouch should be voluntary. Right. Because something
- 18:23Speaker 2: about that, like, I don't want to have to wait,
- 18:26Speaker 2: you know, to get my phone back. I don't know
- 18:28Speaker 2: who you are. You're just a restaurant. And also, yeah,
- 18:31Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 18:31Speaker 1: Well, in the article I'm reading, it kind of said
- 18:33Speaker 1: what you just mentioned. Some places are interested in just
- 18:36Speaker 1: experimenting with the voluntary phone phase.
- 18:39Speaker 2: You know what's interesting, too, is, like... New Jersey Transit,
- 18:42Speaker 2: for instance, I'm assuming LIRR and Metro North have the same.
- 18:45Speaker 2: They have these quiet cars where you're not supposed to
- 18:47Speaker 2: be on your phone. There's always someone in there who
- 18:50Speaker 2: ruins it. Like there's always some gizmo on the phone going, hello, hello,
- 18:54Speaker 2: talking about nothing important while everybody else is quiet and
- 18:57Speaker 2: you want to punch them in the face.
- 18:58Speaker 1: Right. They act like they're at home.
- 18:59Speaker 2: Yeah. And so somebody has to police it. So who's
- 19:02Speaker 2: policing it? The conductor's not there sometimes. And depending on
- 19:05Speaker 2: the person, you're going to say something or you're not.
- 19:07Speaker 3: Right.
- 19:07Speaker 2: If they're young, I might say something. If they're older,
- 19:09Speaker 2: they look mean. I don't say anything. Right. So, you know,
- 19:12Speaker 2: do waiters and waitresses have to police this now? I
- 19:14Speaker 2: got enough on their plate.
- 19:15Speaker 1: I do like the whole reward. If you like, if
- 19:19Speaker 1: you do that, I would like the restaurants that are saying,
- 19:21Speaker 1: you know, a free bottle of wine, if you can
- 19:23Speaker 1: make it or free dessert.
- 19:24Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 19:24Speaker 1: If you can do something to the very end. I
- 19:26Speaker 1: like that. Like Chick-fil-A. Again, not every Chick-fil-A location is
- 19:29Speaker 1: doing this, but they have a cell phone coop challenge.
- 19:32Speaker 1: And you just if you go in there for lunch
- 19:34Speaker 1: with a group.
- 19:34Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 19:35Speaker 1: You put your phones in there. At the very end,
- 19:36Speaker 1: you get ice cream if you make it. I know
- 19:37Speaker 1: it sounds like we're kids, but that's the kind of
- 19:39Speaker 1: thing we need sometimes.
- 19:40Speaker 2: We need a little treat.
- 19:41Speaker 1: A little treat.
- 19:42Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 19:43Speaker 1: Your thoughts on this? 44363 on text. More Cubby and Christine.
- 19:47Speaker 3: And the great music variety you expect. next on Light FM.
- 19:51Speaker 1: You pretty good at trivia.
- 19:53Speaker 3: Light FM's trivia battle.
- 19:55Speaker 1: It is Monday. Time to start up another week of
- 19:58Speaker 1: trivia battles. And good morning, Nina. By the way, you're
- 20:01Speaker 1: in for Christine today. For those that don't know.
- 20:03Speaker 2: Excited to play this game.
- 20:04Speaker 1: And on Team Cubby, playing against your team, is Carly
- 20:07Speaker 1: from Danbury, Connecticut. Carly, good morning. What are you doing
- 20:10Speaker 1: up so early?
- 20:11Speaker 2: Good morning. Good morning. Just having a cup of coffee,
- 20:15Speaker 2: enjoying the morning.
- 20:16Speaker 1: Do you work or are you retired?
- 20:18Speaker 2: I am retired.
- 20:20Speaker 1: That's a beautiful thing. Sipping on that coffee with no
- 20:23Speaker 1: timeline or anything, right?
- 20:26Speaker 2: Yeah, sometimes.
- 20:27Speaker 1: Okay. I know you've got things to do every now
- 20:29Speaker 1: and then, but for the most part, no job to
- 20:30Speaker 1: report to. I love it.
- 20:31Speaker 2: So nice.
- 20:32Speaker 1: Carly, good luck to you. Who is on Team Nina?
- 20:35Speaker 2: We're playing with Kathy from Scarsdale. Kathy, good morning. How
- 20:38Speaker 2: are you? What are you doing?
- 20:40Speaker 1: Good.
- 20:40Speaker 2: I'm driving my son to school, and.
- 20:42Speaker 1: Then I'm headed to work.
- 20:43Speaker 2: All right.
- 20:43Speaker 1: You want to shout out your son?
- 20:44Speaker 2: Sure. My son is Peter.
- 20:46Speaker 1: He's sitting right next to me here.
- 20:48Speaker 3: He's a cross-country basketball guy, and I'm a nurse.
- 20:52Speaker 1: And I'm headed over to work.
- 20:53Speaker 2: Very nice.
- 20:54Speaker 1: Well, good luck to you both. We love you already,
- 20:57Speaker 1: but only one can win. Carly, you'll get three questions. Kathy,
- 21:00Speaker 1: you'll get three questions. Best out of three wins. And
- 21:02Speaker 1: question number one for you, Carly. The NHL season is underway.
- 21:06Speaker 1: Hard to believe hockey is here. Carolina won the Stanley
- 21:10Speaker 1: Cup last season. Do you know the team's nickname? Is
- 21:13Speaker 1: it A, Hurricanes, B, Lightning, or C, Blue Jackets? The
- 21:16Speaker 1: hockey team in Carolina. I'm sorry, repeat that? The Carolina
- 21:22Speaker 1: team that plays hockey, are they the Hurricanes, Lightning, or
- 21:25Speaker 1: Blue Jackets? I'm going to guess Hurricanes. Hurricanes would be correct.
- 21:30Speaker 1: Good guess. Carly on the board.
- 21:32Speaker 2: And Kathy, here we go. You also get a sports question.
- 21:35Speaker 2: Which NFL team just traded with the Minnesota Vikings to
- 21:39Speaker 2: acquire J.J. McCarthy? Is it A, the Philadelphia Eagles, B,
- 21:43Speaker 2: the Chicago Bears, or C, the New York Giants?
- 21:48Speaker 3: I'm going to say the New York Giants.
- 21:50Speaker 2: It is the New York Giants.
- 21:52Speaker 1: They know their sports.
- 21:52Speaker 2: Yay.
- 21:53Speaker 1: One to one. Carly, can you tell me, Carly, which
- 21:56Speaker 1: legendary singer has announced his final encore tour for 2027?
- 22:01Speaker 1: He says it'll be his last rock and roll tour. A,
- 22:04Speaker 1: Rod Stewart, B, Billy Joel, or C, Elton John? I
- 22:10Speaker 1: am going to guess Billy Joel. Oh, no. It's Rod Stewart's.
- 22:17Speaker 1: Rod Stewart, but we're tied up 1-1. Let's see what
- 22:19Speaker 1: Kathy does here.
- 22:20Speaker 2: Okay, here we go, Kathy. Julie Andrews just celebrated her
- 22:24Speaker 2: 91st birthday. Who was Julie Andrews' co-star in The Princess Diaries?
- 22:28Speaker 2: Was it A, Anna Camp, B, Anna Paquin, or C,
- 22:32Speaker 2: Anne Hathaway? I'm going to say Anne Hathaway.
- 22:37Speaker 1: Yes. Now the pressure is on for Carly because you're
- 22:41Speaker 1: down 2-1, Carly. You need this for the tie. You ready?
- 22:44Speaker 2: Sounds good.
- 22:45Speaker 1: Okay, Chuck E. Cheese. was originally founded by Nolan Bushnell,
- 22:50Speaker 1: who also co-founded what video game company? A, PlayStation, B, Atari,
- 22:57Speaker 1: or C, Xbox?
- 23:00Speaker 2: Atari.
- 23:01Speaker 1: Wow. Two to two, but Kathy can win it here.
- 23:04Speaker 2: All right, Kathy, this is for the game. The first
- 23:08Speaker 2: six Call of Duty video games are based on which
- 23:11Speaker 2: historical war? A, World War II, B, the American Revolution,
- 23:16Speaker 2: or C, the Gulf War?
- 23:18Speaker 1: Oh, I'm going to say the American Revolution.
- 23:24Speaker 2: World War II.
- 23:25Speaker 1: World War II. So we're all tied up. Two, two.
- 23:28Speaker 1: We need a tiebreaker.
- 23:29Speaker 2: Okay.
- 23:29Speaker 1: That means producer Kristen, write down a number between 1
- 23:32Speaker 1: and 100. I'm keeping it tight today. Usually we go higher.
- 23:35Speaker 1: But 1 and 100. Whoever's closest will win. And give
- 23:39Speaker 1: us a guess, Carly. What do you think Kristen wrote down?
- 23:41Speaker 1: We haven't seen it yet. Give us a number between
- 23:44Speaker 1: 1 and 100, Carly.
- 23:45Speaker 2: I'm going to say 56.
- 23:47Speaker 1: 56. All right. Kathy?
- 23:49Speaker 2: Kathy?
- 23:50Speaker 1: I'm going to say 31. Can you tell me, Nina
- 23:53Speaker 1: Del Rio, what she wrote down?
- 23:55Speaker 2: She wrote down 42.
- 23:57Speaker 1: That makes Kathy closer, but oh, it was a tight game.
- 24:01Speaker 1: I'm sorry, Carly, but you played a great game, and
- 24:02Speaker 1: you're more than welcome to play again.
- 24:04Speaker 2: Wonderful. Thank you so much. Thank you so much.
- 24:06Speaker 1: It was so much fun. Thank you.
- 24:08Speaker 2: Kathy and Peter, you win.
- 24:10Speaker 3: Yes.
- 24:10Speaker 2: Oh, that's very cool. You have won tickets to New
- 24:13Speaker 2: York City's ultimate wine experience and food experience Saturday, October
- 24:17Speaker 2: 17th or Sunday, October 18th at the New York City
- 24:20Speaker 2: Wine and Food Festival. Congratulations. Yay!
- 24:24Speaker 3: Thank you so much. More Cubby and Christine and the
- 24:27Speaker 3: great music variety you expect next on Light FM.
- 24:30Speaker 1: 106.7 Light FM with Cubby and Christine in the morning.
- 24:33Speaker 1: Producer Kristen. But Christine is out today under the weather,
- 24:37Speaker 1: although she's a survivor. In our NFL Survivor Pool week
- 24:40Speaker 1: number four. Have you been keeping track of this, Nina? Because,
- 24:43Speaker 1: you know, you're not here a lot.
- 24:44Speaker 2: Can I put some money on it and win something?
- 24:46Speaker 1: Well, we're just playing for breakfast.
- 24:48Speaker 2: Oh, then no.
- 24:48Speaker 1: But we're all safe this week in case you're playing
- 24:51Speaker 1: along at home. Kristen and I both picked Vikings over
- 24:55Speaker 1: the Dolphins. And the game was closer than we thought.
- 24:58Speaker 1: The Dolphins are horrible, but they kept it kind of close.
- 25:00Speaker 1: But the Vikings won 15 to 10. So Kristen and
- 25:03Speaker 1: I are safe.
- 25:04Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 25:05Speaker 1: Christine picked Bears over Jets. And, of course, the Bears
- 25:08Speaker 1: won that game 23 to 12. So Christine is safe.
- 25:12Speaker 1: So basically you can't– you know how this works at all?
- 25:15Speaker 1: You're giving me a weird face.
- 25:16Speaker 2: Well, I remember last year Kristen won like almost all
- 25:19Speaker 2: the way to the end.
- 25:20Speaker 1: Well, she won the whole thing. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 25:21Speaker 2: And did you guys take her out to like a
- 25:22Speaker 2: grand breakfast?
- 25:23Speaker 1: Yeah. What did we do again? We took it– no,
- 25:25Speaker 1: actually we never paid up on that. But we're playing,
- 25:30Speaker 1: you're able to miss two games.
- 25:31Speaker 2: Oh.
- 25:31Speaker 1: So we've all missed one already.
- 25:33Speaker 2: Okay.
- 25:33Speaker 1: So we're all playing with one strike.
- 25:34Speaker 2: But isn't it only like week two and you've missed one?
- 25:36Speaker 1: It's week four.
- 25:37Speaker 2: Okay.
- 25:37Speaker 1: But if one of us had missed this past week.
- 25:39Speaker 2: You would have been out.
- 25:40Speaker 1: Would have been out. But nobody is out yet.
- 25:42Speaker 2: Okay.
- 25:42Speaker 1: So.
- 25:43Speaker 2: There's still joy in it.
- 25:44Speaker 1: Week five coming up. Yeah. And the Cubby, Christine, producer
- 25:47Speaker 1: Kristen all alive in the survivor pool. But we were
- 25:50Speaker 1: also talking last week about, we feel like by now,
- 25:53Speaker 1: usually we find out who's going to be performing at
- 25:56Speaker 1: the Super Bowl halftime show.
- 25:57Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 25:57Speaker 1: We keep hearing speculations, but nothing solid yet.
- 26:01Speaker 2: Nothing at all. Nothing at all. There's been a kind
- 26:03Speaker 2: of like the rumors have Miley Cyrus. I saw a
- 26:05Speaker 2: post the other day that she was signed, but now
- 26:07Speaker 2: she's not signed. So that's just a total rumor.
- 26:09Speaker 1: People are thinking Bruno Mars.
- 26:11Speaker 2: Well, I actually happen to be looking at, you know,
- 26:13Speaker 2: the odds of who is going to get in if
- 26:16Speaker 2: you want to place a bet, which we're not that
- 26:17Speaker 2: kind of station. But if you want to place a bet.
- 26:19Speaker 1: Well, what are you looking at? What's your source? Kalshi. Kelshi.
- 26:22Speaker 1: All right.
- 26:22Speaker 2: Why not?
- 26:23Speaker 1: By the way, that's a federally regulated prediction market. Oh,
- 26:27Speaker 1: it is? Where users trade yes-no event contracts based on
- 26:30Speaker 1: real-world outcomes. So you can bet on the weather with Kelshi.
- 26:34Speaker 2: You can bet on pretty much anything.
- 26:36Speaker 1: I haven't done it. It's kind of confusing to me
- 26:37Speaker 1: because you're not playing against a house.
- 26:40Speaker 2: It's tempting but scary. Oh, yeah.
- 26:41Speaker 1: I don't want to get like in a rabbit hole. Yeah.
- 26:44Speaker 2: Yeah. I need I need the money I have. I
- 26:46Speaker 2: don't need to lose any money. But if you want
- 26:48Speaker 2: to run to it. Yeah.
- 26:49Speaker 1: What are they saying right now?
- 26:50Speaker 2: The two odds that are tied, it's tied between Jay-Z
- 26:53Speaker 2: and Miley Cyrus coming up in a very close third
- 26:57Speaker 2: is Harry Styles. Hmm. But there's also some other per,
- 27:01Speaker 2: you know, if you really want to. Get into, you know,
- 27:06Speaker 2: a little bit riskier bets? Justin Bieber is a possibility?
- 27:09Speaker 2: Or a Backstreet Boys reunion? Also on the bill.
- 27:12Speaker 1: Oh, I've been hearing the boy band, and Kristen's nodding
- 27:14Speaker 1: yes right now. We've been hearing, like, NSYNC, Backstreet Boys,
- 27:16Speaker 1: O-Town all together or something.
- 27:18Speaker 2: The Ozra Never Backstreet Boys, if you put down eight cents,
- 27:21Speaker 2: you could win 98. Cents? Yeah, that's like 98 degrees.
- 27:25Speaker 2: I don't even know how this works, but yeah, something
- 27:27Speaker 2: like that.
- 27:29Speaker 1: What are the chances Psy will be there? I haven't
- 27:33Speaker 1: heard this song in a while. I'm ready for it.
- 27:37Speaker 2: It's just 20 minutes of this song. Nothing else.
- 27:40Speaker 1: Boy, this song had its moment, didn't it?
- 27:42Speaker 2: When was this song?
- 27:43Speaker 1: I want to say... 2016?
- 27:45Speaker 2: No. Not that old?
- 27:47Speaker 1: I want to say 2011. Oh. What do you think? 2012, Kristen?
- 27:52Speaker 1: Kristen's looking it up. This was a whole moment right here.
- 27:55Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 27:56Speaker 1: Sigh.
- 27:56Speaker 2: It's such a headache, that moment.
- 27:59Speaker 1: You know what, though? Every year, there's one or two
- 28:02Speaker 1: novelty songs. Sure. And that was definitely one of them.
- 28:05Speaker 2: I don't mind a novelty song, but when you're done,
- 28:06Speaker 2: you're done. 2012.
- 28:07Speaker 1: Thank you, Kristen.
- 28:08Speaker 2: 2012. It was 2012.
- 28:08Speaker 3: Wow.
- 28:09Speaker 2: All right.
- 28:10Speaker 1: Coming up this year, though, we want to send you
- 28:12Speaker 1: to something right now. We're looking for caller 10, 1-800-222-1067.
- 28:16Speaker 1: We have a pair of tickets for you to see
- 28:17Speaker 1: Disney World's Collide concert tour featuring stars from the Descendants, Zombies,
- 28:23Speaker 1: and Camp Rock films on November 7th at Barclays Center,
- 28:26Speaker 1: or you can go to November 8th at UBS Arena, or...
- 28:30Speaker 1: November 10th at Prudential Center. Tickets are on sale right
- 28:32Speaker 1: now at Ticketmaster.com. But if you call or attend right now,
- 28:34Speaker 1: you win.
- 28:35Speaker 2: 1-800-222-1067.
