- 0:01The reason though, that we brought James in not just because of the pea
- 0:04coat, but because James is also here at the radio station Pig ninety eight
- 0:07point seven. He also plays the role of program director, is a fancy
- 0:11title meaning he's our boss. So if there's any problems, please send it
- 0:15all. Any bad things you hear here, it's mostly him. You have
- 0:19no idea how many messages I get every day about you two, James.
- 0:23So we wanted to hear because I have a little survey that people can take
- 0:27if they're thinking about quitting their job, or if you just have doubts.
- 0:29Is you go into work? Is this a job I should be working at?
- 0:32Should I be looking for something else? It's a bit of a checklist
- 0:36here, so we're going to kind of share our feelings. Does your job
- 0:40this is step one? Does your job past the Sunday scaries test? I
- 0:44feel like a man. We just talked about Sunday scaries because you didn't really
- 0:47know what they were, of course not I wake up. I'm like,
- 0:50it's Monday. Well, the only reason she likes Friday because it's that much
- 0:54closer to Monday. Oh God, just lives for the job. Never want
- 1:00to work a day in my life, guys, A man I ever have
- 1:03a lot of people experience what they call the Sunday scaries. It's that dreaded
- 1:07feeling as soon as it's Sunday. The longer you get into the day,
- 1:10the more you realize I got to wake up pretty soon and go to work
- 1:12and start a whole another week over. Do I want to break this?
- 1:15Do you or not? Bike? It was joking, of course I know
- 1:18what the Sunday scaries are. You were not. Yes, not. I
- 1:21get the summer scaries in August too. You can't go to your lake place
- 1:23anymore? Is that the deal? You have a lake place here? I
- 1:27thought you'd been going to your stepdad's house this whole time. But James,
- 1:33Yeah, she's she doesn't know it. She realizes she sounded lame, so
- 1:37she's pretending like she didn't get the Sunday scaries. When I knew that someone
- 1:41wanted me to go to church like on Easter, I'd just be like,
- 1:44I don't want to have the Sunday morning just I don't want to go.
- 1:47You know, I do a lot of built up anger from my childhood,
- 1:51because you know, you get two days after the week, and one of
- 1:53them I had to get up and go to some other alternative school known as
- 1:59Sunday School. Why, yeah, you too. You're a better person because
- 2:02of it. I just know it, right, So I say the job
- 2:07passes a Sunday scary stst Okay, that's step one as far as knowing whether
- 2:10you should quit your job or not. This one, this involves you,
- 2:14James. Do your boss and co workers respect you and listen when you speak
- 2:19up. I gotta say yes, I gotta say absolutely. Oh that's nice.
- 2:23Jimbo here, he'll listen to anything. Does that, and I do,
- 2:28And I hear some things. I sit down in his office and just
- 2:30start talking. You butt diled me on Sunday. I heard some stuff at
- 2:35Sunday School. I barely enter his office. I try to avoid him at
- 2:38all cos I don't usually sit in there for unplaying in the first time I've
- 2:42seen you in weeks. Weird how that happens for everyone if you're unsure if
- 2:46you should quit your job or not. This is a big one. Do
- 2:47your achievements go unrecognized while your mistakes are amplified. I think everyone can relate
- 2:53with that. Right in any job. It's like you do a million things
- 2:58correctly and do them well. You don't hear nothing. It's crickets. You
- 3:01do it wrong one time is a big thing. Yeah, usually because we
- 3:06don't mess up anything. And if that one instance you mess up something,
- 3:08that's like, ooh, that shame on you. But that's all right.
- 3:12We also get a lot of accolades for I mean, being hilarious, so
- 3:16fun, exciting, all of that. Yeah, are you exhausted and experiencing
- 3:23burnout? Obviously not, Amanda's just no, you're the ones who can't sleep.
- 3:29I'm good. The key has been for us, I think, to
- 3:30just get a job that requires no achievement, you know, in a way,
- 3:39there's a lot more on the line with other jobs. Do you find
- 3:43your boss untrustworthy? Yes? Trust this guy as far as I could throw
- 3:49them. That's right, Amanda, You I trust you really? Oh boy,
- 3:53oh, you're staring deep into my soul right now. I am.
- 3:54Yeah. I feel like that's what makes a good team is just trust.
- 3:59It's got a trust. It's all about trust, blind trust like Jaw Ruling,
- 4:01as Shanty said, it's about trust, baby, and something else and
- 4:08the number one come on now, jah Ruling a shanty or or is it
- 4:12fat Joe? Might be Fat Joe or possibly DMX you. But I think
- 4:15it was a sample of a Whitney Houston song Tina Turner, What's Love Got
- 4:19Anyway? Number one? The sign that you should quit your job? Is
- 4:23there a lack of work life balance? Oh? I know, and that
- 4:27that's on you. Sometimes I feel like people think that that's your that's a
- 4:31little gaslight this morning. That's on you, she says, it is.
- 4:35It's totally on you. What if you got to work fifteen hours a day?
- 4:39How was that on you? Then find a job that you don't have
- 4:41to work fifteen hours, okay? And then who will pay the bills?
- 4:43Amanda? Find a job that pays more? Sweet much? Yees? I'm
- 4:47just saying I feel like that's on you. To Jesus man, you have
- 4:50no idea what I got to do? I got you though, right?
- 4:56I mean, check your email anytime of the day, right you? I
- 5:00work in twenty four to seven, But you find that work life balance.
- 5:02It's up to you to be able to do that. If you want to,
- 5:04you can shut her down as soon as you walk out of work,
- 5:06or you can make for me continuating work throughout the day. Sometimes is easier
- 5:13because it makes the next day a little bit like I'm like, oh,
- 5:15I'm ahead of the game. I know what to anticipate. If I were
- 5:17to shut down my emails at one o'clock and then the next day I'm like,
- 5:23oh boy, I just missed a million things like that wouldn't be fun
- 5:26for me. I'd rather just know what I'm getting into work ahead if I
- 5:29have some time, Yeah, what if tomorrow doesn't come? What if and
- 5:32you know who remembers that you worked late, worked all day, Not your
- 5:36employer, not your co workers, but your kids will. A man that
- 5:40your kids will. That's why I get to spend so much great time with
- 5:43them. I feel like I've got the work life balance. They you can't
- 5:46talk out of both sides that which is it? The morning she's mad because
- 5:49I hit an absolute ding dom. I was just on the note and she
- 5:53knows it. Take a minute in the morning. Seven. It's soliday season.
- 5:59Not nearly as miserable as plumbers across the United States, Amanda. They
- 6:03are warning US citizens ahead of Thanksgiving about what they call in the biz brown
- 6:11Friday. Oh yeah, they're not a fan of black Friday. They're going
- 6:15brown Friday. They wish it was Black Friday. They wish they were out
- 6:17getting deals. No, instead they'll be visiting the homes of thousands of Americans
- 6:23the day after Thanksgiving. They say, it's the busiest day of the year
- 6:27for plumbers. Brown Friday. And he guess why, Well, plumbers,
- 6:32brown turkeys, brown stuffing's brown. Uh, you know, Amanda, as
- 6:39my son would say, a poopy is brown pie. It's definitely part of
- 6:44it. It's not all of it. Now, plumbers do say the main
- 6:46culprits of brown Friday include clogs in the kitchen, sinks ooh, foilets okay,
- 6:53and garbage disposals. They say often the cases that houses already are partially
- 6:58clogged pipes. So this be something you want to prepare for. I headed
- 7:01the holiday. Yeah, dumping some draino down there, whatever you gotta do.
- 7:05But they say it's just you know, it's one of those days.
- 7:10They warn you also about wiping grease out of pots and pans before you dump
- 7:15it down the drain. Oh. You know, my husband, I was
- 7:17so thrown off the other day. He probably TikToker on his Facebook feed.
- 7:23He's on Facebook. Had a little hack where it was. In order to
- 7:27keep the grease out of the sink area, he puts aluminum foil down like
- 7:33through in the hole. Does that make sense? Like in the sink?
- 7:40Oh, okay, he puts he puts how far ahead of it he wanted
- 7:45to get? You know, the best way to prevent something is just to
- 7:49stop it at the source. So once, so once he does that,
- 7:57he puts the grease in there and then he just lets it sit there until
- 8:00it it's like cool, and then you just folded up and then you throw
- 8:03it away. Interesting. I know, now, am I a bad adult
- 8:05because I don't really even ever think about dumping grease down? I just just
- 8:09don't even care. Yeah, we've been a homeowner, because that usually is
- 8:13the game changer when you own a home. It's like, oh, that's
- 8:18on me, Like that's all on me. I have to pay for all
- 8:22of that. I can't put just submit a form on the apartment's website,
- 8:26exactly, I will. I will say I'm a little concerned for Brown Friday
- 8:28myself. I mean, because you know, as you know, we're going
- 8:31much like you, to our in laws and it's a they got like a
- 8:35you know, they live in an apartment, and so there's one bathroom and
- 8:37there's a bunch of us going, I'm sorry what I just already am?
- 8:41So when you're in other people's homes, I just get really uncomfortable with the
- 8:45whole going to the bathroom. You say, do you get anxious, because
- 8:48I do get bubble guts already, like the angst of already knowing how anxious
- 8:52you're gonna be. Do you get a little nervous? Like, yeah,
- 8:56well absolutely, I have to go potty, I know, And I feel
- 8:58honestly, it's more and I feel bad for other people because I know a
- 9:01lot of ladies are like kind of self conscious about that. Yeah, like
- 9:03when there's other people there, So now I'm just imagining them like going through
- 9:07hell holding whatever in. You know. I just I feel bad. I'll
- 9:11probably just go to a gopy, like, hey, guys, I gotta
- 9:13go fill up on gas. Is that I'll be back in twenty minutes.
- 9:18And Amanda in the morning on sign you're already ready, that's he is piping
- 9:24hot today And now Amanda stills the sea looks see brought to you by JDP
- 9:31Electric. Oh no, no, snooz. I am so annoyed by this.
- 9:39I don't know why, because we knew it was coming in. I
- 9:43guess we didn't know exactly what he was going to be promoting. But he
- 9:46did say he quit the smoke last week, and we're like okay, And
- 9:48I was actually with you, I'm like, okay, what is he gonna
- 9:50start promoting? You thought maybe gummies or yeah, if you had a line
- 9:54to have that nature you're trying to get buy in, like some sort of
- 9:56technicality like Okay, I'm not going to smoke marijuana, but I'm sure gonna
- 10:00eat it inedible for him. But it was not that. It was Actually
- 10:03I never would have guessed this. I have an announcement. I'm giving up
- 10:07smoke. I know what you're thinking, Snoop. Smoke is kind of your
- 10:11whole thing. But I'm done with done with the coughing. I'm a clothes
- 10:15smelling, all sticky iggy. I'm going smokeless. Solo stove fixed five.
- 10:20They tacked out the smoke clever so it's a fire pit. Yeah smoke.
- 10:26Yeah, you know what I was thinking. What was that, Snoop?
- 10:33You know whatever you're thinking, Snoop. Yeah, he is right though,
- 10:35he's that Snoop, that's your whole thing in a way. I mean he
- 10:39does wrap too, but smoking marijuana. Really, I know, I'm still
- 10:43hoping for like some sort of Martha Stewart collab somewhere. Maybe she's gonna be
- 10:48maybe the little camfire I can't get over. I'm sorry done. It's well,
- 10:54hey girl, you're married. Is this what's going on? Adele?
- 10:58Just be open about it. So she's been bring a rig at her shows.
- 11:01She has referenced Rich Paul as her husband. I guess in Vegas a
- 11:05couple of times fans are going, Okay, that's weird, or are you
- 11:07the girl who's like, oh, yeah, that's my that's my hubs.
- 11:09But you're not actually married. You've just been together so long, super annoying.
- 11:13But yeah, well, I guess. She was at her friend Alan
- 11:16Carr's comedy show over the weekend and there was a group of girls sitting in
- 11:18front of her. She was with one of her friends, having a good
- 11:20time heckling him because I guess they're best friends, and uh, this was
- 11:26maybe your favorite part. Her security team kept bringing her snacks oh the whole
- 11:31time, like they're just like sneaking her little snass. So she didn't have
- 11:33to get up, but I guess Alan at one time just looked at the
- 11:37audience and said, Hey, has anybody out here been married recently? And
- 11:41she just stood up and was like, I have, I'm married. It
- 11:43feels like maybe that was set up. I don't know, but she's married
- 11:46to Richard. I'll just say it then. Yeah, and I have to
- 11:48hear one more story about, you know, whether or not Adele's married.
- 11:52I'm gonna lose it, Amanda. I'm gonna quite frankly lose it. Are
- 11:56you, Okay, don't even dare to Travis Kelti sat down for an interview.
- 12:01We'll talk about that here in a second. But we're finding out Taylor
- 12:03Swift is struggling right now. Of course, she lost a couple of fans.
- 12:07We found out there was three fans that ended up dying, one of
- 12:11them from cancer, one of them from the heat, and then there was
- 12:16another fan that had something going on. But no, I think the one
- 12:20was not at the show, not only one of them's just like Taylor Swift
- 12:24fans that people have been circulating. No I know, But as far as
- 12:28what she's been seeing in acknowlogy and these have you take a group of ten
- 12:31million people, there might be any number of them that die on any given
- 12:35day. Iman, I know, Mike, I clearly understand that I know
- 12:41the human existence. Were sorting to inside sources. She knows of three fans
- 12:46who have recently passed away. She's really really struggling with it. Last night
- 12:50she did her show, and now she's kind of torn because she's just exhausted,
- 12:54the heat, all of it. She is supposed to be playing again
- 12:58the day after Thanksgiving. Her family's her and so she's kind of leaving it
- 13:01up in there. She doesn't know if she's going to come back to the
- 13:03States for Thanksgiving. Her just stay there. I think at this point,
- 13:05if you really are that exhausted, you gotta just stay in Brazil and celebrate
- 13:11Thanksgiving. It's got to be too much going back and forth. You would
- 13:13think, oh right, yeah, you know, just anybody. I mean,
- 13:16you see her in her performance, what she's doing every single night.
- 13:18Now add one hundred and thirty eight degrees. Let's just not say for anybody,
- 13:22no, you gotta drink a lot of water. No, that's just
- 13:26like sound advice for everybody. No, for sure. So anyway, so
- 13:28people who are wondering whether or not she's gonna go back and hang out with
- 13:31the Kelsey family or anything like that. I think she's just really probably struggling
- 13:35in general. Just take a night. Same as far as I do want
- 13:41to go back, because I do feel bad for anybody, anybody who passed
- 13:43away, you know what I mean? Of course, no, yeah,
- 13:46regardless of the circumstances. No, But what I was gonna say is I
- 13:50think one of the fants was actually killed. There was one step after the
- 13:54show, like on a beach was like robber stabbed. Yeah, yiz,
- 13:58all right, Well, Travis Kelsey sat down for an and I'm loving this,
- 14:01he says. Obviously, I've never dated anybody with this kind of aura
- 14:05about them. I've never had to deal with it. But at the same
- 14:07time, I'm not running running from it. He says. Taylor's both hilarious
- 14:11and a genius. Everybody knows I'm a family guy, and one of the
- 14:15reasons he likes her is because she's the exact same way her mom's out on
- 14:18tour, her dad's out on tour. That's been how she's ran her entire
- 14:22career with her parents by her side. I ask for Mama Donna, who
- 14:26is my new favorite influencer by the way, on social media. It's so
- 14:31good watching her just get these side hustles. Yes, oh good natural if
- 14:35you haven't been following up Papa John's yesterday she got some Tom's shoes or hey
- 14:41dude shoes. Oh yeah, she got it. She did the old unboxing.
- 14:45It's just glorious. But she said that she has never seen her son
- 14:48this happy before. God bless him. He shot for the stars and she
- 14:52said, I know Taylor is going to kill me. And he dished about
- 14:56her first concert at the Chief Stadium and they weren't really together at the time.
- 15:01Yeah, that her nieces or little cousins or somebody. It was her
- 15:05little cousins. We're taking pictures in front of Travis Kelsey's locker, so I
- 15:07don't know if there was already buzz that maybe he liked her or they thought
- 15:15he was cute. How it went down, but we're also saying finding out
- 15:18that there was a love connection. He didn't dish who it was. Some
- 15:20are saying it was Andy Reid and the dad who are close that maybe hooked
- 15:24him up. Some of the family members or Aaron Andrews maybe had a little
- 15:28bit of a connection in there too. Really, yes, that okay,
- 15:31random, I know, just say everything works out. It's adorable. I
- 15:35know I'm loving it so much. I just can't get enough of it.
- 15:39As you can tell. For somebody who I know you like her music,
- 15:43fine, but you know I'm really not a big Fant're much more a fan
- 15:46of just like her love life than anything else she's done that or maybe just
- 15:50to be real honest, Travis Kelsey, now here's what you need to know.
- 15:58It's solid season well play. Can you believe it's the ninety seventh Macy's
- 16:04Thanksgiving Day Parade on Thursdays? Holy Counts have been ninety seven already, It
- 16:08already has and by the way, for people who are all about it,
- 16:11it is gonna start thirty minutes earlier than usual, So it's gonna start at
- 16:15eight thirty in the morning. They've got four new floats for you to enjoy.
- 16:18One of them like the Teenage Mutant, Ninja Turtles, Willie Wonka.
- 16:22Good to know. I mean, they're gonna still have the household ones like
- 16:26what Charlie Brown. Charlie Brown, I can't imagine them getting rid of it.
- 16:29Do you ever just sit down and watch it, because at my in
- 16:32law's house, it's the hype of it, like, oh, we're gonna
- 16:34watch the Thanksgiving Day parade, and then it starts and then everybody just kind
- 16:38of scatters. Yeah, it's not something you really just sit there and watch.
- 16:41But I do, Amanda, I do have fond memories of childhood,
- 16:45you know, finally waking up, sleeping in a little bit, coming out
- 16:48Grandma's over, She's sitting in the chair, the TV's on, step moms
- 16:52in the kitchen, whipping up some probably starting the potatoes or something. Yeah.
- 16:56It kind of is that moment too, where I act like it's a
- 16:59big thing so I can add Bailey's or start a mimosa early, like,
- 17:02oh, the Thanksgiving tamparades on, we should celebrate. Oh, President Biden,
- 17:10he is not up to date with the pop culture. You would expect,
- 17:15you know, I normally would expect an eighty year old man to be.
- 17:18But why what happened during I guess it was the Turkey pardoning speech that
- 17:22he was giving, which is one of my favorites. The party name one
- 17:26Turkey, which is so weird. It's such a weird tradition. It is
- 17:30I was listening to and I'm like, gosh, this is a gem,
- 17:33and then he dropped this. Just to get here, Liberty and Bell had
- 17:37to beat some tough odds competition. They had to work hard to show patience
- 17:41and be willing to travel over a thousand miles. You could say even this
- 17:47harder than getting a ticket to the Renaissance Tour or Nice or Repritans Tour.
- 17:53She's down in Oh, it's kind of warm in Brazil right now? Who's
- 17:59talking in here, Kamala? Can you tell him it's not Britney. Well,
- 18:03the fact that he even knew that, but he's obviously trying to go
- 18:07for Taylor sweat. Oh you know what I bet it is. He probably
- 18:11got confused because he follows Brittany on Instagram and he gets just confused in general
- 18:15following that bit. It's not helping this situation. Was posting pictures of Taylor
- 18:18last week, so I can understand the confusion. Sharp as a whip,
- 18:22though it's worth a wise for the video. I don't care where you stand
- 18:30politically. It's just a good one. Just when he's looking, you know,
- 18:33you can tell the mental just of war happening as he's trying to figure
- 18:40out which. Sorry he's talking about. All right, So if this is
- 18:42your first time hosting, I know, Pike, you're going to your in
- 18:45laws. I'm going to my in laws. We all kind of help out
- 18:48in the kitchen. But when it comes to the turkey, so we have
- 18:51a turkey off. So my husband makes a turkey and then my brother in
- 18:55law makes a turkey, and it's always like which one is the best?
- 18:57Every year really, but it would give me anxiety if I was hosting and
- 19:03I was just in charge of the turkey, because the whole meal is around
- 19:07that. If you say, hey, come over it too, everything's got
- 19:10to be ready and that turkey has got to be perfect, you know what.
- 19:11Sure, And so a lot of people don't realize how to thaw the
- 19:15tur turkey. There's always those like jokes like, oh, put it in
- 19:18the microwave. Thought that way you are supposed to this is key roughly twenty
- 19:23four hours for every four to five pounds. You're supposed to have it in
- 19:29the fridge or in some sort of water bath. So twenty four hours.
- 19:33So if I got a twenty pound turkey, we're talking about like it needs
- 19:36to be out, well, that's like four days. It's crazy. You're
- 19:40not supposed to be cutting corners. I can remember though, they're saying,
- 19:44you're not supposed to just keep it in the sink or out on the porch.
- 19:48Well, we always had a tradition where one of us would get selected
- 19:51every year to go take a hot bath with the turkey until it was stop
- 19:55completely. I see, and you're not supposed to do that. I don't
- 19:57think either. I'm always volunteered. Every once in a while, she would
- 20:02let one of us kids all rest in peace. Grammy, yeah we miss
- 20:06her bubbles too, or just hell yeah there were bubbles. How about that
- 20:12for a visual? Everybody happy Thanksgiving? No, whether it is today,
- 20:17it's gonna be sunny, a little bit of wind. H I a thirty
- 20:19seven. We all have our traditions, okay, no judging. No,
- 20:23we did leg wrestling over on the one side, remember right y, Yeah,
- 20:27that's right, the old peylin leg wrestling. It's a tradition like it
- 20:33a manda in the morning. Come on, get up on Big seven Soliday
- 20:38season, Holiday season. I heard a whooped, dee whoop. You know
- 20:42this Thursday Thanksgiving spoiler, there's gonna be a lot of food eating. Yes,
- 20:48a lot, you got turkey, you got stuff, you got everything
- 20:51in the plate. The table's full. So this is important information to know.
- 20:53You know, everybody has a different idea of what like an expired food
- 20:57item is or what they use or the cell by or best if frozen by
- 21:03date. I mean, are you after home last night because we are leaving
- 21:07for the holiday season to Iowa this afternoon, and I have not gone grocery
- 21:14shopping in over a week. So right now I am I going through getting
- 21:17rid of stuff. And there was a couple of different items that my husband's
- 21:21like, no, that is totally fine because it hadn't been open. Like
- 21:23there was a thing a cottage cheese that won't it'll expire while we're gone,
- 21:26but it hadn't been opened yet. Huh. And I'm like, we got
- 21:30a tassit. He's like no, Like it'll be fine for especially at cottage
- 21:33cheese, for at least another two weeks after. See, there's two types
- 21:37of people, and I feel like in every relationship there's one and then there's
- 21:41the other. Like for example, James who was just in here, our
- 21:44afternoon guy. He was eating our leftover plaza asteca and it was on Thursday.
- 21:48I'm like, dude, we ate that Monday. What are you eating
- 21:52it on Thursday? For? He's like, what are you talking about?
- 21:53I would have eaten this in three weeks from now. We used to work
- 21:56with a guy who would eat pizza or three weeks later. I mean pizza
- 22:02even two days later is crazy. Well, the expiration date, and this
- 22:06is according to experts the USDA. They say that the food the exact date
- 22:11is really not as definitive as it sounds. Basically, that's the suggestion.
- 22:15But what the USDA says literally, unless it looks like it's gone bad,
- 22:21you're fine. Really you got okay, let's go with like the old classic
- 22:25milk. So that feels like one of them were The expiration date is eleven
- 22:30eighteen, the twenty first, I'm gonna struggle probably having it. Well,
- 22:33see milk, that one's one of the more definite, like you know the
- 22:37smell, correct, you're gonna smell a bad. You know you're not gonna
- 22:41die. But it's like, do you want to drink nasty taste of milk?
- 22:42They say, unless it looks, smells or it feels foul, then
- 22:47you're fine. But then Amanda, you got the use by dates, yes,
- 22:51which is different from the expiration date. Now, this date suggests the
- 22:55best time to eat the food products, so you're not eating it past its
- 22:57prime. So basically when it's gonna taste the best, not exactly gonna be
- 23:03unsafe, but they wanted to, you know, to be the best tasting
- 23:06for you. So for instance, my amazing bonus dad, God bless him,
- 23:11pants, Lance Pants, if we were to go over to his house,
- 23:17say tomorrow, and want to whip up, let's just say chili.
- 23:21Go downstairs, get into that pantry in the back room. We'll have a
- 23:26good pantry. Yep, you're looking. You know what you're looking for,
- 23:29like the kidney beans, the chili beans. In your first thing you're gonna
- 23:32do is look at that used by date and Mike, you might see nineteen
- 23:37ninety nine on there and goal, Well it's not dented, and he'll go,
- 23:41it's just been in there. It's fine. Well, man, I
- 23:42mean it might be a little dusty, but I'm sure it's fine. Those
- 23:45are unperishables. Of course they're still gone, but it still says used by.
- 23:51It's oh, it's like I just said, it's a suggestion. It's
- 23:53a it's a sealed in a can. Those are good through an apocalypse.
- 23:57I don't that's why we donate them, I know. But there's still there's
- 24:00still a time and a place for those. Yeah, anytime anywhere, literally
- 24:04until the end of time. Then why don't they put a not a date
- 24:07on there? Why did they call them on perishables you don't have You don't
- 24:12have pantries around. You're asking for food that goes bad. I know that,
- 24:17all right, then, Amana. By the way, you got the
- 24:18freeze by date? All right? This bad boy, This boy is the
- 24:22date that's meant to tell you when to freeze an item at its highest quality.
- 24:26My grandma used to make pizza. Let's say you just eat a frozen
- 24:30pizza, and if there were any pieces left, my god, she would
- 24:33put them in the freezer. And when we, like your stepdad, when
- 24:37we moved her out into the nursing home, we found pieces of pizza with
- 24:41the ziploc bag labeled from the nineties. Yes, no lance pants. I
- 24:45cleaned out his freezer this summer and I did find a heart. And I'm
- 24:49not kidding you, like there was not a heart. Are you a man
- 24:52to be fair? I'm not sure where the heart came from, but it's
- 24:56and he wraps them up in like bread bags, so you you have to
- 24:59like go and look and see what's going on. Or my husband made a
- 25:04pork roast or something over the like fourth of July weekend, and my stepdad
- 25:10was still eating that pork roast in the same little container. Well he was
- 25:14driving potato trucks in September, and it just rot gut just doesn't care.
- 25:21I feel like we're just kind of blowing past the fact that your steptead at
- 25:22a heart in the free so sure it was like, I don't know any
- 25:26he's not a cereal charge gee lands and he hands or feet and there too,
- 25:32or Amanda in the morning on big you want to spect to thing when
- 25:37you hear that telephone room by spreads flacking number this lesson by spread Sunny want
- 25:48arrested by Frick. Got an email from this guy Blake. He used to
- 25:52work at a plumbing company in town and he switched over got a promotion at
- 25:56a different plumbing company, Amanda, and so he wanted to us because it
- 26:00sounds like he did have a good vibe with his other co workers. He
- 26:02wanted us to mess with him on his way out. Okay, I don't
- 26:04know how he feel about it, and hopefully they had a good vibe.
- 26:07All he said was he he wanted to give the guy, the manager a
- 26:11hard time about how bad of a golfer he was, which I'm all about
- 26:14love a little golfriend. All right, all right, hello Plumbing the heating,
- 26:23I can help you. Yeah, save this Steve. Yep, this
- 26:26is Steve. Who's this great bro? Just a guy. I'm looking for
- 26:30it. Jeff Boomhauer over here at plumbing, and I think we are happen
- 26:34to be hiring a gentleman who used to work on your crew named Blake.
- 26:38Sound familiar. Yep, Blake did work for me. Okay, great,
- 26:42Yeah he did list hea there on his resume. Now can I ask why
- 26:47Blake left the job over there? Oh well, basically he got a really
- 26:51good opportunity somewhere else. Yeah he sure did. He sure did, didn't
- 26:56he? Okay, it sounds like that was probably with you then, can't
- 26:59confirm, Yeah, you got it. I mean, how much time off
- 27:00were you guys giving him over there? Well, I mean it's a crude
- 27:06so you know. Yeah, Well, it sounds like it couldn't quite hold
- 27:08a candle to the four weeks PTO. We're giving him right out the gate.
- 27:14Pretty good, huh So I mean I don't care, but cool.
- 27:18Yeah. Okay. Well, and as far as pay goes, are you
- 27:19able to share with how much you guys were paying him? Uh? I'd
- 27:25rather not. Okay, No, he did tell us just full disclosure,
- 27:27and it sounds like we're paying him ten times as much as you guys.
- 27:32So yeah, I just want to share that with him. Also, he
- 27:36did mention one more thing about you guys over there, And I don't know
- 27:38who he was specifically talking about, but he said he did have a manager
- 27:41who thought he was a good golfer but really wasn't good at all. I
- 27:45don't know who that would have been. Oh yay, huh. Yeah.
- 27:49He said that I can't do this, this is man. Are you a
- 27:55Steve Steve Arno? I gotta tell you we're doing a prank. Oh,
- 28:00I'm sorry. I couldn't quacke it through that. What Blake reached out,
- 28:03He said he did get a new job, but he loved his time with
- 28:07you, and he said you were a real good sport and he thought it'd
- 28:08be funny to have a little fun on the way out. Are you wait,
- 28:11so this is some kind of joke you be you're a good golfer?
- 28:15I don't know. He said he did. That's the one that he did
- 28:18say. He said, you were a very, very poor golfer. He
- 28:21wanted to be. He made sure, he said, whatever you do,
- 28:23just include the fact that he's not a good golfer. Oh good, that's
- 28:29funny. Listen, Blake is a great kid. He'll do awesome at his
- 28:32new job. But that is funny. I bet. Also, I love
- 28:33a good rasin. You're lucky to have him. It sounds like he had
- 28:37a great time working for you too. So thanks man. We appreciate you,
- 28:41all right, Thank you. By Flig
