  hear today's play from Romans 1. It

  says, "Through him, we received grace

  of the gospel because it's the power of

  God that brings salvation to everyone

  who believes first for the Jew and then

  Gentile. The great commission is the

  mission of every Christian. Purpose,

  meaning, significance, and eternal

  reward come from obedience to the will

  of God, which is engagement in the work

  of God, the great commission. I love the
• 0:55
  ministry of CBMC because it makes our
• 0:57
  obedience to the great commission so

  simple. CBMC provides a systematic and
• 1:03
  strategic approach that is simply
• 1:06
  applied, resulting in great success
• 1:08
  among the men who engage. Paul states
• 1:11
  that all the Gentiles, that is everyone
• 1:14
  not Jewish, which is most of us in the
• 1:16
  world, are to be called to the obedience
• 1:19
  that comes from faith in Jesus.

  Certainly, God wants the Jews saved and
• 1:24
  obedient as well. But for us Gentiles,
• 1:26
  we know clearly the mission is toward
• 1:28
  everyone in our lives. Prayer is the
• 1:31
  foundation of our ministry. praying for
• 1:33
  specific people by name individually
• 1:36
  when we meet with God daily and then
• 1:38
  corporately when we meet weekly with men
• 1:40
  in CBMC. We pray for individuals to come
• 1:44
  to faith. This is part of the CBMC
• 1:47
  strategic process for obeying the great
• 1:49
  commission. Simple, easy, effective, yet
• 1:53
  largely ignored by many Christians.

  Regularly, usually quarterly, CBMC hosts
• 1:59
  an outreach lunchon. These are events
• 2:01
  where Christian businessmen identify
• 2:03
  themselves as disciples of Jesus by
• 2:06
  sharing with their audience how they
• 2:08
  came to personal faith in Jesus the
• 2:10
  savior. Those who speak and those who
• 2:13
  invite the men they are praying for to
• 2:15
  hear are those who are unashamed of the
• 2:17
  gospel. Understanding that faith comes
• 2:20
  from hearing and hearing the gospel
• 2:22
  unleashes the power of God for
• 2:24
  salvation. Winning all the Gentiles to
• 2:27
  the faith. Pray, invite, watch, and
• 2:30
  receive God's reward as he works through
• 2:33
  our efforts to accomplish his purpose of
• 2:36
  every man coming to faith in Jesus. This

  is obedience to the great commission in
• 2:41
  faithfulness to our mission. This is
• 2:43
  what all of us should be doing. And CBMC

  makes it possible and practical for the
• 2:49
  Christian businessman.
