Lucy Rose | Local Legends #81: Haunting Season
For this week's episode of Local Legends Eleanor is chatting with the wonderful author Lucy Rose.
Lucy is known for her instantly bestselling debut novel The Lamb, a deliciously dark folk horror tale set in the isolation of rural Cumbria. However, she's also an award-winning film maker, and a lifelong devotee of haunting tales and the folklore of place.
Lucy's work has often been included in the 'Femgore' subset of horror, which centres the experience of women and girls to respond, often violently, to the horrors of living in the world in a female body.
It's a lovely chat about hauntings…
