  Speaker 1: my power. I will defeat you and cut off your head.

  Speaker 1: You know, one of the most remarkable things about David's

  Speaker 1: encounter with Goliath was not the stone he threw or

  Speaker 1: the victory he achieved. It was the words he spoke
• 0:31
  Speaker 1: before the battle ever began. When David stepped onto the battlefield,
• 0:35
  Speaker 1: everything in the natural suggested defeat. Goliath was much larger, stronger,

  Speaker 1: more experienced, and better equipped. He was a trained warrior.

  Speaker 1: David was a shepherd bore. If anyone had a reason

  Speaker 1: to feel intimidated, it was David. Yet David refused to

  Speaker 1: let fear have the final word. No doubtful thoughts of

  Speaker 1: inadequacy tried to enter his mind. He could have said,

  Speaker 1: this giant is too big, I don't have what it takes.

  Speaker 1: I'll never survive this. Instead, David chose to respond a

  Speaker 1: little differently. He boldly declared victory before he ever saw why.

  Speaker 1: Because David understood a powerful principle, your words help shape

  Speaker 1: the atmosphere of your life. What you continually speaking either

  Speaker 1: strengthen your faith or strengthen your fears. David didn't deny

  Speaker 1: the existence of the giant. He simply chose to focus

  Speaker 1: on the greatness of God rather than the size of

  Speaker 1: the problem. See many of us face giants today. They

  Speaker 1: may not stand nine feet tall on a battlefield, but

  Speaker 1: they show up in other forms. A troubling diagnosis from

  Speaker 1: the doctor, a financial pressure, a family conflict, anxiety, disappointment,

  Speaker 1: a dream that seems impossible, a door that refuses to open.

  Speaker 1: And the question is what are you saying about your giant?

  Speaker 1: What are you saying too your giant? Are your words

  Speaker 1: agreeing with the problem or are they agreeing with God's promises.

  Speaker 1: See it's easy to repeat what we see. It's easy

  Speaker 1: to talk about what's wrong, what isn't working, or what

  Speaker 1: feels impossible. But faith calls us to speak differently. Faith

  Speaker 1: says God is still in control. God is making the way,

  Speaker 1: God is fighting for me. So when you're facing a challenge,
• 2:23
  Speaker 1: begin speaking life over your situation. If you're battling discouragement,
• 2:28
  Speaker 1: declare God's peace. If you're facing uncertainty. Declare God's wisdom.

  Speaker 1: If you're believing for a breakthrough, you need to declare
• 2:35
  Speaker 1: God's favor and his provision. Your words may seem simple,
• 2:39
  Speaker 1: but they are powerful because they reflect what you believe. See,

  Speaker 1: David's confidence was not in himself. It was in the
• 2:46
  Speaker 1: God who had already delivered him from the lion and
• 2:49
  Speaker 1: the bear. He knew that the same God who had
• 2:52
  Speaker 1: been faithful in the past would be faithful again. So today,

  Speaker 1: don't let your giant dictate your conversation. You need to

  Speaker 1: speak God's probam Us is over your life. Put your

  Speaker 1: faith out where fear one stood. Declare victory before you

  Speaker 1: see it. Declare healing before you feel it. Declare breakthrough

  Speaker 1: before it. Arise to the God who empowered David still

  Speaker 1: honors faith. Feel hards today, and the victory you're speaking

  Speaker 1: may be closer than you realize. Oh Father, God, thank

  Speaker 1: you for your promises and they are greater than any
• 3:25
  Speaker 1: challenge we face. Help us God to guard our words

  Speaker 1: and fill our mouths with faith instead of fear. Teach
• 3:30
  Speaker 1: us God to speak life and hope and victory over
• 3:33
  Speaker 1: every situation. Oh, we declare that you are fighting our battles.

  Speaker 1: You are opening doors, you are making away, you are

  Speaker 1: working things all together for our good God. We choose

  Speaker 1: to agree with your words and trust in your faithfulness

  Speaker 1: in Jesus' name. Hey, now that's your word for today.

  Speaker 1: everyday life, and you continue to be encouraged that inspired.
