- 0:01Speaker 1: The play is in Confused. Podcast is rated M for marijuana,
- 0:04Speaker 1: no miners, but your audience is only listen to this.
- 0:09Speaker 2: So I go to the gym last week for the
- 0:10Speaker 2: first time in a very long time. It's been a
- 0:12Speaker 2: long time since I set foot in the awful gym
- 0:14Speaker 2: up the street from where I live, right, Okay, So
- 0:16Speaker 2: I get in the car, I go down, and I'm
- 0:18Speaker 2: all proud of myself because I'm about to like squeeze
- 0:20Speaker 2: a workout in which again, it's been a while, been
- 0:23Speaker 2: a long.
- 0:23Speaker 1: Time, it's been a while. So here I am driving, driving, driving,
- 0:28Speaker 1: get to the gym. I go to make a left
- 0:30Speaker 1: into the gym.
- 0:31Speaker 2: Here comes this jackwagon on the opposite side of the road,
- 0:34Speaker 2: making a right into the gym, and well, we both
- 0:37Speaker 2: went to go turn at the same time into the gym,
- 0:40Speaker 2: and a little bit of road.
- 0:41Speaker 1: Rage ensued, and you know, like one does.
- 0:45Speaker 2: I threw my hands up in the air, and with
- 0:49Speaker 2: the top down on the jeep and all the windows down,
- 0:51Speaker 2: I yelled, what the hell are you doing?
- 0:54Speaker 1: So we pull into the gym. I get out of
- 0:57Speaker 1: my car.
- 0:57Speaker 2: He's on the opposite end of the parking lot, and
- 1:00Speaker 2: all of a sudden, I hear I, white boy, Hey,
- 1:03Speaker 2: white boy, we got a problem, white boy? Yeah yeah,
- 1:06Speaker 2: yeah you yeah, yeah, you, we got a fucking problem.
- 1:09Speaker 2: Tell me, we got a fucking problem. And I'm there like, no,
- 1:14Speaker 2: so this is why I don't go to the gym.
- 1:16Speaker 2: There we go, That's why you don't go to the gym.
- 1:19Speaker 2: Then we awkwardly worked out in the same gym on like,
- 1:22Speaker 2: I avoided this motherfucker obviously. So I went to one
- 1:25Speaker 2: end of the gym and he went to the other.
- 1:27Speaker 2: And the whole time I'm like looking up and making
- 1:28Speaker 2: sure he's not gonna kill me. But yeah, so I
- 1:31Speaker 2: guess the lesson in this story is don't throw your
- 1:33Speaker 2: hands up if somebody cuts you off road, rages alive and.
- 1:37Speaker 3: Well yeah we got a problem, or just don't go
- 1:40Speaker 3: to the gym all together, just left.
- 1:44Speaker 4: Yeah yeah, I would have just worked out at home and.
- 1:47Speaker 1: Then turn around and left. I thought about it. But
- 1:49Speaker 1: then he wins.
- 1:50Speaker 3: You know, so when you're when you're in there, right, yeah,
- 1:53Speaker 3: were you guys like you make an eye contact?
- 1:54Speaker 5: Were you?
- 1:55Speaker 1: Were you very aware?
- 1:56Speaker 4: Oh?
- 1:56Speaker 1: I was very aware. I was very aware. He's over there,
- 1:59Speaker 1: I'm gonna go over here.
- 2:00Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, yeah, So did you actually work out or
- 2:03Speaker 3: are you just on like is alert the whole time.
- 2:06Speaker 1: I was definitely on high alert the whole time. You
- 2:07Speaker 1: know me too.
- 2:08Speaker 2: Anytime I work out by myself, not with the trainer,
- 2:11Speaker 2: it's always short as it is.
- 2:12Speaker 1: It was extra short this day. Yeah, how long were
- 2:14Speaker 1: you in there? Maybe twenty minutes? Fifteen minutes? It was bad.
- 2:18Speaker 1: It was a speed workout.
- 2:19Speaker 2: I went on the treadmill and I noticed, like I
- 2:22Speaker 2: kept having to like turn around and look over my shoulder.
- 2:24Speaker 2: I know she was galking at me the whole time.
- 2:26Speaker 2: And then I thought, you know what, I think that's
- 2:27Speaker 2: enough for today.
- 2:28Speaker 1: I think I'm.
- 2:28Speaker 2: Okada, Well, stop pissing people off.
- 2:32Speaker 1: White white boy.
- 2:32Speaker 3: White boys a problem, white boy. It's so funny when
- 2:35Speaker 3: when you were doing that, like my hands were in
- 2:37Speaker 3: the air, I thought like, ah, just like some typical
- 2:40Speaker 3: white guy, you know, flailing their arms in the air.
- 2:43Speaker 2: But it's flailing your arms in the air, a white
- 2:45Speaker 2: person thing since one, sort of since one, Gabby, what
- 2:48Speaker 2: do you think? Kind of right?
- 2:50Speaker 4: Yeah? I mean usually I just start cursing. Wait are
- 2:55Speaker 4: we allowed to curse on here?
- 2:56Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 2:56Speaker 4: I thought you guys weren't anymore. I was gonna say, I.
- 2:59Speaker 1: If we're not allowed to.
- 3:03Speaker 4: Really you're really counting the one time and I'm.
- 3:05Speaker 3: Like, I'm oh, yeah, to a consciousness like episodes ago.
- 3:09Speaker 3: But we don't want to just come off as like
- 3:10Speaker 3: a trashy talk show, you know, and no, oh, well.
- 3:15Speaker 1: Know what you think of us.
- 3:16Speaker 4: That's what I thought I was here for.
- 3:18Speaker 1: Yeah, shit, you know.
- 3:20Speaker 3: I was at a wedding over the weekend and there
- 3:22Speaker 3: were people that came up to me that listened to
- 3:23Speaker 3: the podcast, which was super great to hear, and one
- 3:25Speaker 3: of the persons came up. One of the people came
- 3:28Speaker 3: up to me and said, Hey, you asked that Wizard
- 3:31Speaker 3: of Oz question two times?
- 3:32Speaker 1: What Wizard of Oz qua? Where were they going? What
- 3:35Speaker 1: city were they going to see? Oz? Did you fuck
- 3:38Speaker 1: it up? Both times? Yeah?
- 3:40Speaker 3: I got it right, got it right the second time,
- 3:42Speaker 3: did you? And coincidentally, our guest today is the person
- 3:46Speaker 3: I watched that movie with the first time, and I
- 3:48Speaker 3: was like, what, I was probably twenty one, twenty years old.
- 3:52Speaker 1: It's one of the few movies I genuinely really enjoyed it.
- 3:54Speaker 2: I know you do, and she loves that movie too,
- 3:56Speaker 2: but I remember her telling me about it and I
- 3:58Speaker 2: was like, I never saw that movie.
- 3:59Speaker 1: She's like, we have to watch it.
- 4:00Speaker 3: And I watched it, and I don't know if you
- 4:02Speaker 3: recall my review of the movie, but I thought it
- 4:05Speaker 3: was fine. It's fine, but like when I was a kid,
- 4:09Speaker 3: so maybe the magic wasn't there, you know what I mean, Gabby?
- 4:11Speaker 1: You like the Wizard of Oz? Have you seen that
- 4:13Speaker 1: they're doing it at the sphere in Vegas?
- 4:15Speaker 5: Now?
- 4:15Speaker 1: It's it's like an AI version of it.
- 4:17Speaker 4: The only reason I would ever want to go to Vasion.
- 4:19Speaker 2: But now the purist though, hate it though, because they
- 4:22Speaker 2: think that it ruined the movie. Because again, like AI
- 4:25Speaker 2: added so much to it. You're seeing a little teeny
- 4:28Speaker 2: tiny bit of the picture. It's like this full immersive experience.
- 4:32Speaker 4: Yeah, but if it's The Wizard of Oz, it's just
- 4:33Speaker 4: it doesn't mean you have to like it more than
- 4:36Speaker 4: the original. It's still part of the experience.
- 4:38Speaker 2: No, I'll tell you what I want to go see. Well, first, uh,
- 4:41Speaker 2: I got to watch the original. But have you seen
- 4:43Speaker 2: Spinal Tap?
- 4:44Speaker 1: Yeah? Of course, so apparently Spinal Tap two is out now?
- 4:49Speaker 2: Good? I mean put it this way. The people that
- 4:51Speaker 2: have spoken to me about it, I have had nothing
- 4:53Speaker 2: but great things. I have to watch the first one.
- 4:57Speaker 2: I feel like I've attempted to watch this movie before,
- 4:59Speaker 2: but I feel I also maybe spinal.
- 5:02Speaker 1: Tap would hold my attention. Is it longer than an
- 5:04Speaker 1: hour and a half? Probably, I think so.
- 5:06Speaker 3: I don't remember I watched it so many years ago,
- 5:09Speaker 3: but somebody did just recently invite me to go see
- 5:11Speaker 3: the new one in theaters, and I kind of passed,
- 5:13Speaker 3: why because I'll watch it when it comes out and
- 5:15Speaker 3: is streaming somewhere, you know. Interested, Yeah, it's okay, I'll
- 5:18Speaker 3: watch that. I'll watch it when it's streaming. I didn't
- 5:21Speaker 3: need to see it in the theater. I was gonna
- 5:23Speaker 3: pull that for a trivia question for you this week,
- 5:25Speaker 3: but I decided not to Spinal tap.
- 5:27Speaker 1: Yeah, what about it? But just about the the coming out?
- 5:30Speaker 2: Yeah, honestly, I asked the I asked that at my
- 5:33Speaker 2: trivia night this past week, and a lot of people
- 5:35Speaker 2: got that wrong. The question was an iconic eighties music
- 5:41Speaker 2: movie just got a reboot, but what's the original called?
- 5:45Speaker 2: And a lot of people were like, Footloose. A lot
- 5:47Speaker 2: of people guess Footloose. A lot of people are stupid
- 5:51Speaker 2: foose reboot? Didn't you tell me they got rich.
- 5:55Speaker 3: They got that home alone question wrong too, John Candy
- 6:00Speaker 3: and like, yeah, come on, it was funny. Gabby's not
- 6:04Speaker 3: even a movie person, by the way, it was funny.
- 6:06Speaker 3: It was really crossing her fingers at The questions today
- 6:08Speaker 3: were not movie theme, but go ahead.
- 6:10Speaker 2: When I asked that question, there was this dude that
- 6:12Speaker 2: had just walked into the restaurant where I do the trivia,
- 6:16Speaker 2: and he wasn't even playing, but he was walking to
- 6:19Speaker 2: his seat and he kept coming up to me saying,
- 6:21Speaker 2: I'm really kicking myself. What movie he's Catherine O'Hara, Joe
- 6:25Speaker 2: Peshi and John.
- 6:26Speaker 1: Ky and I don't think there's a movie. They're not
- 6:28Speaker 1: in a movie together.
- 6:29Speaker 2: I'm like, dude, come on, it's it's also amazing doing
- 6:33Speaker 2: trivia every week. You really meet the Betty better than
- 6:35Speaker 2: yous of the world. Yeah, the no, it all so
- 6:38Speaker 2: Betty better than you. I never heard that before. What

- 6:46Speaker 4: Never?
- 6:46Speaker 1: What the year is Debbie Downer better? I've heard that

- 7:31Speaker 2: Yeah, more bullshit with people, or more bullshit with the customers,
- 7:35Speaker 2: Like I mean, you know, not people are customers, you
- 7:37Speaker 2: know what I mean? He doesn't think customers are people?
- 7:42Speaker 2: Talk more bullshit with the employee employees, or more.

- 7:57Speaker 3: Really, is there another one besides Debbie Downer Betty better
- 8:00Speaker 3: than Yeah?
- 8:01Speaker 1: What's another one? Joe Blow? He's their uncle.

- 9:44Speaker 3: is the first episode in a while we haven't had
- 9:45Speaker 3: an extra member you know here listening in.
- 9:48Speaker 1: I like that though.
- 9:49Speaker 3: I watched their facial expressions and I can tell if
- 9:52Speaker 3: things are like bombing or not.
- 9:54Speaker 1: It's always good great. So we have nobody to tell
- 9:57Speaker 1: us if it's bombing to that means it's gonna suck.
- 10:00Speaker 4: You know.
- 10:01Speaker 1: Yeah, Gabby's face will tell all, I promise.
- 10:04Speaker 2: So. Gabby's a friend and a loyal, loyal listener of
- 10:08Speaker 2: the pod. Right, Yeah, you've listened to every episode.
- 10:12Speaker 4: I've never listened to a single one. I wanted to
- 10:13Speaker 4: be fresh. No, I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding.
- 10:16Speaker 1: I said last week that we hate with people I
- 10:17Speaker 1: know that's why I said. You guys said that's no.
- 10:21Speaker 4: I've listened to every single one.
- 10:23Speaker 1: I just wanted to be fresh. What's your favorite one
- 10:25Speaker 1: so far? And don't say the one with my sister?
- 10:27Speaker 4: Oh fuck, all right, I do love your sister, just
- 10:30Speaker 4: because the banter is.
- 10:32Speaker 1: Yeah, we need to bring Kelly back. She was a
- 10:34Speaker 1: great guest. Well have her back sometime in the future.
- 10:37Speaker 4: Yeah, Kelly, come back, like right now.
- 10:39Speaker 1: Actually, every time Kelly opens her mouth, I feel understood.
- 10:42Speaker 1: Yeah I do. I feel like, what does she say
- 10:45Speaker 1: that makes you feel?
- 10:46Speaker 2: I don't know, I really I can't put my finger
- 10:48Speaker 2: on and I just feel less alone in the troubled
- 10:51Speaker 2: world out there. When when Kelly starts speaking great. Yeah,
- 10:55Speaker 2: I don't know if i'd admit that, but I feel
- 10:58Speaker 2: the opposite way. You just feel alone, steel alone, or
- 11:03Speaker 2: maybe you just wish you were alone, like an only child,
- 11:05Speaker 2: you know, Like, I'm sure how she feels, Gabby. What
- 11:08Speaker 2: kind of questions do you think we're gonna have today
- 11:10Speaker 2: for you? Or what what are you hoping I'm hoping for?
- 11:13Speaker 4: Not fucking movies.
- 11:15Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm trying to look here at maybe one.
- 11:20Speaker 4: No, thank you?
- 11:20Speaker 1: Okay, She's a. She's a good, respectable girl.
- 11:24Speaker 4: Not quite not just kidding.
- 11:27Speaker 3: Well, we have ten questions for you. Is the wrapid round?
- 11:29Speaker 3: We uh done in sixty seconds. All these questions I
- 11:33Speaker 3: think are pretty cool because some are easy, and I
- 11:36Speaker 3: think the theme of the question it's all over the place,
- 11:39Speaker 3: which I think is cool.
- 11:40Speaker 4: All Right, So you just said there's a theme, but
- 11:41Speaker 4: it's not.
- 11:42Speaker 1: It's I meant the themes are all over the place, yep.
- 11:46Speaker 1: And I don't know why I would press that one.
- 11:49Speaker 3: Why these questions are all over the place. And probably
- 11:54Speaker 3: the same could be said for the show.
- 11:55Speaker 1: Let's do this thing. Let's do this thing? Please? All right, Gabby,
- 12:05Speaker 1: here we go. What are the five senses?
- 12:08Speaker 4: Touch, smell, taste, sight, and sound?
- 12:10Speaker 1: Very good? Got it?
- 12:12Speaker 3: How often are the Olympic Games held four years? Every
- 12:15Speaker 3: four years?
- 12:16Speaker 2: Ye?
- 12:16Speaker 1: Now, you got it?
- 12:16Speaker 4: Okay, great?
- 12:17Speaker 1: Four? What animal flaps its ears to cool down elephants?
- 12:20Speaker 1: Got it? What is the main ingredient in guacamole?
- 12:23Speaker 4: Avocado?
- 12:25Speaker 1: Disgusting? What's the name of the wizarding school in Harry
- 12:29Speaker 1: Potter Hogwarts? Got it? A word that means the same
- 12:32Speaker 1: as another word?
- 12:34Speaker 4: No?
- 12:35Speaker 2: What A person who studies space and stars is called
- 12:39Speaker 2: a what astronom?
- 12:40Speaker 4: Astronomer?
- 12:41Speaker 5: Got it?
- 12:42Speaker 1: The past tense of run is got it? What's a
- 12:46Speaker 1: baby frog called?
- 12:48Speaker 4: Depends?
- 12:49Speaker 3: The Statue of Liberty was a gift from what country?
- 12:51Speaker 4: France?
- 12:52Speaker 1: Got its? You missed one? A word that means the
- 12:58Speaker 1: same as another word.
- 12:59Speaker 4: It's called synonym.
- 13:00Speaker 2: You got it?
- 13:01Speaker 1: Got them all? Yeah? I hope she would. These are
- 13:04Speaker 1: third grade level fucking plas.
- 13:06Speaker 4: Listen. Would you have gotten along?
- 13:08Speaker 1: Probably? Yeah, that's how you know they're way too easy?
- 13:10Speaker 4: Okay, Well do you have another set? Because I'm ready?
- 13:13Speaker 5: Now?
- 13:13Speaker 2: Are the Olympic Games held? What do you say every
- 13:16Speaker 2: two years? Well, two different kinds, but the summer of
- 13:21Speaker 2: the Olympics. Yeah, but they each one happens every four years. Well,
- 13:24Speaker 2: then you should have specified how often are se I'm
- 13:27Speaker 2: with That actually trip me up, even though yeah.
- 13:29Speaker 3: Yeah, you got it correct though, see that would have
- 13:31Speaker 3: been more difficult, but I gave. I would have said
- 13:33Speaker 3: too easy. And how about guacamole? I think avocado is disgusting? Really,
- 13:39Speaker 3: I agree that avocado is gross.
- 13:42Speaker 2: However, I will say in recent years I've discovered that guacamole,
- 13:46Speaker 2: if it's seasoned the right way, is not bad.
- 13:49Speaker 1: But here's the thing that I don't get about season it.
- 13:52Speaker 1: It's like the more salt the better.
- 13:54Speaker 2: I think, Well, okay, I don't know some of the
- 13:57Speaker 2: some of the times people say, oh, try thisami, it's great.
- 14:00Speaker 1: And I say, what does this taste like? Though? Because
- 14:04Speaker 1: to me, it's just as mushy bland, you know.
- 14:08Speaker 3: I think the texture is really weird. It's mushy. It's creamy, right,
- 14:12Speaker 3: Sometimes some people make it really creamy.
- 14:16Speaker 1: I don't know. I've never been a fan. I think
- 14:17Speaker 1: it's really discussing.
- 14:18Speaker 4: I'll take an avocado in any way, shape or form.
- 14:21Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, how do you season your avocados?
- 14:24Speaker 4: Salt and pepper, but not a lot of salt? Like
- 14:26Speaker 4: you don't eat you said, I didn't know what that meant.
- 14:30Speaker 1: I'm like, what else would you put on them? Like
- 14:32Speaker 1: does salt help them a lot?
- 14:34Speaker 2: No?
- 14:35Speaker 4: I mean any salt enhances the flavor of anything.
- 14:38Speaker 1: But you don't.
- 14:38Speaker 3: You can just eat an avocado, you like walkam only
- 14:41Speaker 3: like on like a lot of things, like everything you
- 14:43Speaker 3: put like it a dip, right, you use it with chips.
- 14:46Speaker 4: I will eat it on anything like avocado and eggs,
- 14:48Speaker 4: avocado on a burger, Oh yeah, on a burger. It's
- 14:52Speaker 4: so good.
- 14:52Speaker 1: What would you ruin food like that? I think you
- 14:56Speaker 1: lost me on that one. For food. It's a shame,
- 14:58Speaker 1: isn't it. Oh hey, lou see, Oh look at this?
- 15:02Speaker 4: Hello, careful.
- 15:06Speaker 1: Fight?
- 15:06Speaker 4: What do you mean careful?
- 15:08Speaker 1: She that she just barks a lot.
- 15:10Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 15:11Speaker 1: We gotta work in progress, and we're working.
- 15:13Speaker 4: On This is her house. This is not our house.
- 15:16Speaker 2: I hate when people say that though, that oh it's
- 15:20Speaker 2: my parents were over yesterday and she did her ship.
- 15:22Speaker 1: She barked, and my dad's like.
- 15:24Speaker 2: Oh, well, this is her turf, and it's like, yeah,
- 15:26Speaker 2: so what doesn't mean that she should be allowed to
- 15:29Speaker 2: bark her ass off like a freaking nimrod.
- 15:32Speaker 1: I don't know. It's like.
- 15:34Speaker 4: What you do here because this is your house and
- 15:36Speaker 4: you know that you're like safe, here is her territory.
- 15:41Speaker 1: She's doing her job pretty much.
- 15:43Speaker 4: She's sitting behind you, protecting you, or maybe you're protecting her.
- 15:46Speaker 4: I'm not sure.
- 15:49Speaker 1: She always looks worried, but she's so cute.
- 15:51Speaker 4: She is really cute.
- 15:52Speaker 1: We're working on it.
- 15:53Speaker 2: She gets better every day, Yeah, a little bit better
- 15:55Speaker 2: every day. And we have a treat today from Gabby.
- 15:57Speaker 2: She brought she's it pizza?
- 15:59Speaker 1: Wow, you enjoy?
- 16:00Speaker 2: I know you just got done doing what before we
- 16:02Speaker 2: got here? Editing, editing, editing or editing editing an entire
- 16:09Speaker 2: box of the family sized cheese. It's extra toasty, of course.
- 16:14Speaker 1: Did you share them with your family, Lucy? Or was
- 16:16Speaker 1: it you were the family? The family?
- 16:18Speaker 2: But hear me out, though one person killing an entire
- 16:21Speaker 2: box or cheese, it's between two days.
- 16:24Speaker 1: That's not that unheard of, is it. No people have
- 16:27Speaker 1: done it?
- 16:28Speaker 4: Should they?
- 16:29Speaker 2: No? No?
- 16:30Speaker 4: Have they got Yeah?
- 16:32Speaker 3: I suppose and you had the munchies, I assume is
- 16:34Speaker 3: why you tore through them. Oh yeah maybe maybe all
- 16:37Speaker 3: that's up. Yeah, it was crazy. I went to the
- 16:40Speaker 3: grocery store last week. I have the meal prep service,
- 16:42Speaker 3: so they cooked my main meals. I get like my
- 16:45Speaker 3: dinners through them.
- 16:45Speaker 2: So I really when I go to the grocery store
- 16:47Speaker 2: maybe once or twice a month, I stuck up on
- 16:50Speaker 2: you know, the essentials, coffee, stuff to drink. Yeah that's
- 16:54Speaker 2: about it. So man, I went to the grocery store
- 16:57Speaker 2: last week. I spent like one hundred and twenty five dollars.
- 17:00Speaker 2: I feel like I got nothing. I feel like I
- 17:02Speaker 2: got two cases of soda and a bag of chip
- 17:05Speaker 2: five dollars.
- 17:06Speaker 1: Seriously, I mean in a forty dollars box of family
- 17:10Speaker 1: sized cheese. That's yeah. That thing is like nine dollars now,
- 17:14Speaker 1: oh my god. Yeah you're really good though they are.
- 17:16Speaker 1: Do you get the extra toasty? Yeah? Of course, extrasty
- 17:18Speaker 1: And it's crazy. You can't eat just one like you
- 17:20Speaker 1: have to keep going. Yeah, what is in there that
- 17:22Speaker 1: makes it? I think cheese?
- 17:24Speaker 5: Uh?
- 17:24Speaker 2: What? The goldfish are the same way. It's hard to
- 17:26Speaker 2: eat just one like they It's like cracking there or something.
- 17:28Speaker 2: You have to keep eating.
- 17:29Speaker 1: I'm gonna go pre eat that oven right there real quick?
- 17:31Speaker 1: All right?
- 17:32Speaker 2: You want to do you have some hold music? Yeah,
- 17:34Speaker 2: I'll put the whole Yeah. While you're in there, can
- 17:35Speaker 2: you get me a bog cos tea?
- 17:38Speaker 1: Your estimated way time is fifteen minutes. I was looking
- 17:52Speaker 1: at your what is that a ninja? What do they
- 17:55Speaker 1: call those things? A airfire? What? What is that thing
- 17:58Speaker 1: you have?
- 17:59Speaker 2: Oh? Yeah, it's like a all in one So it's
- 18:01Speaker 2: an air fryer. It's a toaster oven. You can do
- 18:04Speaker 2: everything in there.
- 18:05Speaker 1: Do you use it a lot? I use that a lot? Yeah?
- 18:07Speaker 1: Have you ever cleaned it once. No, can you tell?
- 18:11Speaker 3: Yeah, because I was like, oh, maybe this pizza will
- 18:14Speaker 3: fit in this little oven here. No, I wouldn't put
- 18:16Speaker 3: it in there anyway. Why it's just crumbs, I know,
- 18:20Speaker 3: but they get all like baked in there. It's very
- 18:21Speaker 3: hard to How would you even go about cleaning that?
- 18:24Speaker 3: There's certain things that aren't made to be cleaned an, I.
- 18:28Speaker 4: Don't believe that. If you believe that, that's fine.
- 18:32Speaker 1: I mean, I'm sure there's things out there that you
- 18:33Speaker 1: know you don't clean, though you have a maid service
- 18:37Speaker 1: that comes. Wait, enough of this.
- 18:40Speaker 5: We may not have all the answers, but they have
- 18:44Speaker 5: all the snacks. He's still blazed and confused.
- 18:48Speaker 1: Podcast. Oh man, the mosquitoes got me bad yesterday. I'm
- 18:53Speaker 1: like scratching a hole in my skeeters at your gig
- 18:59Speaker 1: in the park.
- 19:00Speaker 2: No.
- 19:00Speaker 1: Actually, I was taking the dog out yesterday here at
- 19:03Speaker 1: the apartment building. And is that bad out there? Yeah?
- 19:06Speaker 2: No, the well, I had the dog in the dog
- 19:08Speaker 2: park at the apartment building. More running around, and yeah,
- 19:11Speaker 2: they're bad out there anyway.
- 19:14Speaker 1: I'm sorry to hear. Then you have sympathy for my bug.
- 19:17Speaker 4: I'm just thinking, like if you put pants on, well,
- 19:19Speaker 4: I see his hand doing something that looks bad. It's
- 19:24Speaker 4: not as bad as that looks.
- 19:28Speaker 2: Well.
- 19:28Speaker 1: Now you know question number one. Commercials and jingles. Let's
- 19:35Speaker 1: start with this.
- 19:36Speaker 2: So you were like alive for this, So I hope
- 19:38Speaker 2: that you get this correct because I wasn't. It's one
- 19:41Speaker 2: way about it, one way of saying you're old without
- 19:43Speaker 2: saying you're old.
- 19:44Speaker 1: That's fine. Yeah.
- 19:45Speaker 2: Which company used the famous slogan reach out and touch
- 19:48Speaker 2: someone in their commercials?
- 19:53Speaker 1: Reach out and touch someone? Do you remember it? No,
- 19:57Speaker 1: reach out and touch someone.
- 19:59Speaker 2: I feel like it was like a phone company. Oh,
- 20:06Speaker 2: reach out and touch someone. Reach out and fun someone,
- 20:09Speaker 2: reach out.
- 20:13Speaker 3: With their permission. After you get consent, reach out and
- 20:17Speaker 3: someone just can't reach out and do it. You got
- 20:19Speaker 3: to reach out and touch someone, right.
- 20:23Speaker 1: Yes, reach out and touch someone. Gabby has no idea
- 20:28Speaker 1: in my head.
- 20:29Speaker 4: Actually it popped into my head and I don't know why.
- 20:33Speaker 1: Do you know it, Joel like O your age?
- 20:36Speaker 4: No?
- 20:37Speaker 3: I think by the time I was really hoping that
- 20:40Speaker 3: you could like read it how it was read or
- 20:42Speaker 3: said he reach out and touch.
- 20:44Speaker 1: Someone like reach out. That's not how they said, That's
- 20:49Speaker 1: how they said it. Like I always have to reiterate
- 20:53Speaker 1: that I really like doing this show with him, but
- 20:54Speaker 1: we're gonna get canceled.
- 20:56Speaker 4: Are they singing it? You should have like you should
- 20:58Speaker 4: have pulled up the clip so that you could play
- 21:01Speaker 4: yead and touch. That's why they don't use it anymore.
- 21:08Speaker 1: That's something like that. I'm going to say, like AT
- 21:11Speaker 1: and T or something like that. Are you kidding me?
- 21:14Speaker 1: Did I get it?
- 21:14Speaker 5: All?
- 21:15Speaker 1: Right?
- 21:15Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 21:16Speaker 3: I also that one out of reach out. I'm like, oh, well,
- 21:19Speaker 3: telephone reaching out to something. How did you reach out
- 21:21Speaker 3: to people back in the day.
- 21:22Speaker 4: That's not what I was thinking at all.
- 21:24Speaker 3: AT and T wow to reach out to like someone?
- 21:27Speaker 3: Do you remember them using that sort of reach out?
- 21:31Speaker 3: Does it say a year?
- 21:32Speaker 1: No, I'm gonna find out right now.
- 21:33Speaker 3: I feel like that was like nineteen eighty nine to
- 21:35Speaker 3: like nineteen ninety three, So it says AT and T
- 21:38Speaker 3: first introduced the slogan reach out and touch the one
- 21:40Speaker 3: in nineteen seventy nine, oh Wow, as part of a
- 21:43Speaker 3: long running advertising campaign created by nw Ayer and Son.
- 21:49Speaker 2: It was one of the most recognizable taglines in telecom history.
- 21:52Speaker 2: Was heavily used throughout the eighties and into the early
- 21:55Speaker 2: nineties to encourage long distance calling.
- 21:57Speaker 1: So yeah, I was right. I did pretty good on
- 21:59Speaker 1: that one too.
- 22:02Speaker 2: All right, this is a new category. We haven't ever
- 22:04Speaker 2: had a question like this. But the category is logos.
- 22:08Speaker 2: So I'm gonna describe to you what the logo looks like. Okay,
- 22:12Speaker 2: and you're gonna tell me what the logo is. A
- 22:15Speaker 2: red and blue circle with a wave through the middle.
- 22:23Speaker 2: Ocean spray.
- 22:25Speaker 1: No, all right, so no, it's not that. I don't
- 22:28Speaker 1: I don't think it's that.
- 22:29Speaker 2: But when I asked this at my trivia night, a
- 22:31Speaker 2: lot of people wrote that, let me look up the
- 22:33Speaker 2: ocean spray.
- 22:33Speaker 3: Like, I think ocean spray's just blue? You said red
- 22:37Speaker 3: and blue circle. Yeah, ocean spray is just blue. A
- 22:41Speaker 3: red and blue circle with a wave through the middle. Man,
- 22:53Speaker 3: that's tough.
- 22:53Speaker 4: It also isn't really a wave.
- 22:55Speaker 1: Oh you're looking at it. Do you know what the
- 22:57Speaker 1: answer is because you're looking at it? Yeah, Well she can't.
- 22:59Speaker 4: I know I could pole because you helped me.
- 23:03Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 23:04Speaker 3: I mean it's Joel's fault that you can see what's
- 23:06Speaker 3: going on right now. So I'm gonna go with Gabby
- 23:08Speaker 3: form my lifeline.
- 23:09Speaker 1: No, No, you can't do that. Just joking. It's joking.
- 23:14Speaker 1: I don't know. I'm sorry. I think I got it wrong.
- 23:17Speaker 2: All right, Correc Dancer is Pepsi. Oh man, Now that's
- 23:22Speaker 2: a good one. That's a good one.
- 23:24Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 23:25Speaker 1: So is it not a wave? I think it's a way.
- 23:27Speaker 4: I mean, it's not like a wave that you would
- 23:29Speaker 4: like an ocean wave. It's just like a white banner.
- 23:32Speaker 4: I would call it like a white banner.
- 23:35Speaker 1: Yeah, but this looks pretty waver to make that one.
- 23:39Speaker 4: That's not what I think of when I think of
- 23:40Speaker 4: the original Pepsi though.
- 23:43Speaker 2: See Pepsi has a bunch of logos. This is their logo.
- 23:45Speaker 2: Now this looks like this is fifty years ago.
- 23:48Speaker 4: That's what I think of when I think of the
- 23:49Speaker 4: original logo.
- 23:50Speaker 1: They went back to the og one. Yeah, I gotta
- 23:52Speaker 1: come over there and see.
- 23:53Speaker 2: You go on Google, you search Pepsi logo suggestions, Pepsi
- 23:58Speaker 2: logo wallpaper. Who the fuck is setting their wallpaper to
- 24:02Speaker 2: the Pepsi logo? I mean not to judge, but geez,
- 24:07Speaker 2: look how many wallpapers there are for the logo. This
- 24:10Speaker 2: is crazy.
- 24:11Speaker 1: Somebody had to be the trend question three.
- 24:15Speaker 2: All right, so it's a new category. I came up
- 24:19Speaker 2: with this sporty cities by color. Sporty cities by color.
- 24:23Speaker 2: So I'm gonna I'm gonna give you the colors for
- 24:27Speaker 2: each of the sports teams, and you're gonna tell me
- 24:30Speaker 2: what the city is. Jesus Okay, let's try it, all right?
- 24:37Speaker 2: So football navy and orange. Baseball red white and blue,
- 24:45Speaker 2: red white and black. For hockey, what's the city?
- 24:51Speaker 1: One more time?
- 24:52Speaker 2: So football is navy and orange. Baseball is red white
- 24:56Speaker 2: and blue. Hockey is red, white and black. What's the city?
- 25:04Speaker 1: The navy and blue is navy an orange? Maybe blue
- 25:13Speaker 1: navy an orange and that's NFL.
- 25:18Speaker 2: Yes, navy and orange is football. Baseball is red white
- 25:22Speaker 2: and blue. Hockey is red, white and black. Do you
- 25:25Speaker 2: know what I will say?
- 25:26Speaker 1: Here's one. Here's I'll give you a hint.
- 25:28Speaker 2: There's two baseball teams in this city, and I'm only
- 25:33Speaker 2: giving you one of them.
- 25:34Speaker 4: What's the other one?
- 25:36Speaker 1: Well, I can't tell you what the other one is.
- 25:37Speaker 4: No, I mean, like, what's the other colors?
- 25:39Speaker 1: I guess it'd be black and white.
- 25:41Speaker 4: What doesn't help?
- 25:44Speaker 1: Man? I am struggling with this one. I feel like
- 25:47Speaker 1: the do you think you might say anything?
- 25:49Speaker 5: Can I?
- 25:50Speaker 4: I don't know baseball or hockey like at all. But
- 25:55Speaker 4: I feel like the only navy and orange that I'm
- 25:57Speaker 4: thinking of isn't the Broncos.
- 26:00Speaker 1: All right, I'm gonna go with no.
- 26:02Speaker 4: Don't say I didn't know.
- 26:03Speaker 1: I was copy for my life on Denver.
- 26:05Speaker 4: That's Denver?
- 26:07Speaker 1: Is it Denver? Denver is incorrect?
- 26:10Speaker 2: That was not me?
- 26:11Speaker 1: I know it was me. I'm so the correct answer
- 26:14Speaker 1: is Chicago, oh man.
- 26:17Speaker 2: So navy and orange is the Bears, Red white and
- 26:21Speaker 2: blue is the Cubs, black Hawks?
- 26:25Speaker 1: Is hockey, red white and black.
- 26:27Speaker 3: I don't know a white Chicago white, so that would
- 26:29Speaker 3: have been like the only one I probably knew.
- 26:32Speaker 1: That was a really difficult one. That was a really
- 26:34Speaker 1: good concept. Thank you. Did you come up with that
- 26:37Speaker 1: on your own? Or did I did?
- 26:38Speaker 5: Oh?
- 26:38Speaker 2: Cool?
- 26:39Speaker 1: I did love that. We'll do that again for sure.
- 26:41Speaker 1: Thank you very much. Well done. Okay, So I have
- 26:43Speaker 1: one more for you right now. I got to study,
- 26:45Speaker 1: yeah question for twenty what.
- 26:50Speaker 2: Study my colors? My team colors? New category. The last
- 26:55Speaker 2: word has to do with the last lines and the
- 27:01Speaker 2: last words of books. Which classic children's novel ends with
- 27:06Speaker 2: the line It's not often that someone comes along who's
- 27:10Speaker 2: a true friend and a good writer. Charlotte was both sorry,
- 27:21Speaker 2: what classic children's novel ends with the line It's not
- 27:25Speaker 2: often that someone comes along who's the true friend?
- 27:28Speaker 1: And a good writer? Charlotte was both you don't get that.
- 27:33Speaker 3: I'm just gonna say Charlotte's Web because it seems to
- 27:37Speaker 3: make sense.
- 27:38Speaker 1: Final answer, Yeah, you sure about that kind of please.
- 27:43Speaker 4: Let it be right like Babysitters Club.
- 27:45Speaker 1: I'm just kidding, dude. You wouldn't believe the amount of
- 27:51Speaker 1: people that got that wrong. At my trivia night last week.
- 27:53Speaker 2: The answer was in the question Yes, that's like when
- 27:57Speaker 2: I asked him about like which Wade more steal or
- 28:01Speaker 2: a kilogram of feathers.
- 28:02Speaker 4: And he was like, no, that one was more. I
- 28:05Speaker 4: mean that could have been a trick question.
- 28:06Speaker 1: It was a trick question. He goes, is a kilogram
- 28:09Speaker 1: of very many or something like that?
- 28:12Speaker 5: What you're about to learn absolutely nothing? Go Blazed and
- 28:16Speaker 5: Confused podcast.
- 28:18Speaker 1: Hate What do you tell that story? Oh?
- 28:20Speaker 2: I'm just joking with you. We should put that pizza
- 28:22Speaker 2: in the oven though. All right, let's go to my questions.
- 28:24Speaker 1: Question number one.
- 28:27Speaker 3: All right, I like when you give me the category
- 28:29Speaker 3: for your questions, So I'm going to start doing that. Okay,
- 28:32Speaker 3: music and TV history. Okay, what were the first words
- 28:38Speaker 3: spoken when MTV launched at twelve oh one am on
- 28:41Speaker 3: August first, nineteen eighty one?
- 28:45Speaker 1: The first words spoken?
- 28:46Speaker 2: What were the first words spoken when MTV launched at
- 28:50Speaker 2: twelve oh one am on August first, nineteen eighty one?
- 28:54Speaker 1: Dun due? D you remember?
- 29:00Speaker 4: Is this common knowledge?
- 29:01Speaker 1: I don't think I think it is. So are you
- 29:03Speaker 1: talking about like the moon landing? Like the intro of
- 29:05Speaker 1: the moon landing? There's words that are spoken after that,
- 29:12Speaker 1: I think, And he said word.
- 29:14Speaker 2: I can't remember that the whole opener right now, but
- 29:17Speaker 2: there were words spoken eventually.
- 29:23Speaker 1: It's like six words. I thought you would know this.
- 29:30Speaker 1: I don't think this is common knowledge.
- 29:32Speaker 4: Did they say it every time?
- 29:34Speaker 2: Then?
- 29:34Speaker 4: Like, was it like the opener every time?
- 29:36Speaker 1: No, it was like, this is the premiere of MTV,
- 29:40Speaker 1: and they had this whole opener in.
- 29:41Speaker 4: The premiere of MTV that could have been it.
- 29:47Speaker 1: You giving up?
- 29:47Speaker 2: I mean like I've seen you know, the first hour
- 29:50Speaker 2: of MTV about a billion times. Very beginning though, Oh.
- 29:57Speaker 1: This is gonna do? What if? No, he says that
- 30:03Speaker 1: though it's Mark Goodman, it's the dude. I don't know.
- 30:09Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 30:09Speaker 4: Give it up.
- 30:09Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm giving up, all right. Nineteen eighty one.
- 30:13Speaker 2: That was twelve oh one away, twelve oh one am
- 30:16Speaker 2: MTV launched and it said Ladies and Gentlemen rock and roll.
- 30:21Speaker 1: That's how they kicked it off. That was the first
- 30:23Speaker 1: voice you heard when it kicked off.
- 30:26Speaker 2: Okay, they did say ladies and gentlemen of rock and
- 30:28Speaker 2: roll every hour, at the top of every hour. So
- 30:30Speaker 2: did they really, Yeah, every hour at the top of
- 30:32Speaker 2: every hour. Yes, that's part of the rocket that's part
- 30:35Speaker 2: of the rocket launch, the moon landing. Oh fuck, I
- 30:39Speaker 2: guess you're right. And you didn't even know it though somehow, Yeah,
- 30:42Speaker 2: because you made it sound like it was the only
- 30:44Speaker 2: first time. What a box question?
- 30:46Speaker 1: That one, right, fine question too? What a friend? All right?
- 30:51Speaker 3: Education slash acronym. You know when someone says they're an
- 31:00Speaker 3: to go to college to get their m b A.
- 31:03Speaker 3: What does m b A stand for?
- 31:05Speaker 2: M b A? Oh?
- 31:06Speaker 1: Oh, oh, m b A Masters of Business? Uh, Gabby,
- 31:18Speaker 1: do you know?
- 31:19Speaker 4: I think I do?
- 31:20Speaker 1: Yeah, you think he's on the right track.
- 31:22Speaker 2: I do think he is on the right Masters, Masters

- 31:40Speaker 1: b A, me too, It's that easy.
- 31:44Speaker 4: Oh my god.
- 31:46Speaker 1: What does MBA stand for the Masters of Turkey Turkey?
- 31:55Speaker 1: He's close, right, we'll do it, yeahs of I don't know. Now,
- 32:01Speaker 1: all you have is BASI in your that's a lot, said,
- 32:05Speaker 1: all right, you got it wrong, Gabby. Do you know
- 32:07Speaker 1: what it is?
- 32:08Speaker 4: Is it Masters of Business Administration?
- 32:10Speaker 3: It's Master of Business Administration? Yeah, Gabby, got it right.
- 32:13Speaker 3: We'll give her a point.

- 32:38Speaker 3: call them animals. Which US state has banned hamsters as
- 32:43Speaker 3: pets because of environmental concerns? Which US state has banned
- 32:54Speaker 3: hamsters as pets?
- 32:57Speaker 1: Jean, no idea. I got one and fifty shot. I
- 33:03Speaker 1: think the odds are worse than that.
- 33:07Speaker 4: Hm.
- 33:09Speaker 1: Any guesses? Wait, how would the odds worse than that? One?
- 33:13Speaker 1: In fifty shots? There's fifty states? How could the odds

- 33:20Speaker 1: fuck I mean, I'm an idiot? Shot.
- 33:26Speaker 2: I mean, I know that there's a big push to
- 33:28Speaker 2: get Canada to become a state, but I don't think
- 33:30Speaker 2: that ship's ever gonna happen.
- 33:31Speaker 3: I think people need to give up on that Canada
- 33:34Speaker 3: of America. Yeah, which US state has banned hamsters as
- 33:39Speaker 3: pets due to environmental concerns. So think of a state
- 33:47Speaker 3: then maybe has like a lot of greenery, greenery, you
- 33:52Speaker 3: want to keep it safe, and you want to get
- 33:54Speaker 3: Washington state.
- 33:56Speaker 1: No wrong, Oregon?
- 33:58Speaker 4: No?
- 33:58Speaker 1: Am I wrong? Like wrong area? Colorado?

- 34:17Speaker 1: One time?
- 34:17Speaker 3: It bit me and I didn't know and I was
- 34:19Speaker 3: like in the bathroom washing my hands and blood was
- 34:21Speaker 3: just squirting out all over the walls, the smallest little
- 34:23Speaker 3: puncture in my fingers.
- 34:24Speaker 1: Now they had I had a ham Did you have
- 34:28Speaker 1: a hamster?
- 34:29Speaker 4: Nah?

- 34:35Speaker 4: kidding third grade name for a hamster. He was amazing.
- 34:40Speaker 4: He was the best.
- 34:40Speaker 3: What was your hamster's name? I couldn't tell you. You
- 34:43Speaker 3: don't remember you went through a lot of them? That
- 34:45Speaker 3: you went through a lot of them, Yeah, Jaz what
- 34:49Speaker 3: did you do to them?
- 34:51Speaker 1: Do anything right?

- 34:52Speaker 4: No, no, no, throw a lot of them, next paper
- 34:59Speaker 4: of it.

- 35:19Speaker 2: bit too much fun with a Gerbil and showed up
- 35:20Speaker 2: about the e R with a Gerbil in his ash?
- 35:24Speaker 4: Is that a real thing? I hear about that, but

- 35:49Speaker 2: That story is an urban legend. There's no so this
- 35:52Speaker 2: is what chachipt says. Our good friend uh Ai Andrew.

- 35:58Speaker 2: example of a gerbiling rumor a.
- 36:01Speaker 5: Man.
- 36:02Speaker 4: I like that.
- 36:02Speaker 3: Joel's kind of sad about it. It didn't happen after all.
- 36:07Speaker 3: Question for how many astrological signs are there.

- 39:40Speaker 4: but I actually enjoy when people get mad. At this point,
- 39:44Speaker 4: I've been doing this for a very long time, so
- 39:46Speaker 4: it doesn't bother me anymore. It kind of just makes
- 39:49Speaker 4: me happy that I am able to piss somebody off

- 40:47Speaker 4: every day and thinking it's going to be different, Like
- 40:50Speaker 4: who's the idiot?
- 40:51Speaker 1: Yeah me, Yeah, that good time. Sorry that happened. That's

- 41:02Speaker 4: it because I you know, that's like she does.
- 41:04Speaker 1: Know you're like a button pusher.
- 41:07Speaker 4: I mean I don't purposely push buttons. But again, like
- 41:10Speaker 4: if that's what how you want to live your life,

- 41:25Speaker 4: of shit.
- 41:26Speaker 3: Like, and you're working at a convenience story that's like
- 41:29Speaker 3: open twenty four hours, so I'm sure you get the
- 41:31Speaker 3: drunks in there, and they're a whole different breed.
- 41:34Speaker 1: I used to be one of them.
- 41:35Speaker 4: Yeah, I used to be one of them too. Yeah, no,

- 41:39Speaker 4: one that was by a strip club, and so that
- 41:43Speaker 4: was a good time. Yeah, that was like you could
- 41:45Speaker 4: just like pull up a chair and just watch like
- 41:46Speaker 4: happy hour when the strippers were let out of work.
- 41:49Speaker 4: Whatever time there's shift ends.
