Sacred Cinema: A Great Awakening
This week, Erin and Evan discuss A Great Awakening, the Sight & Sound Films drama about George Whitefield and the First Great Awakening. They unpack the film's theology, Benjamin Franklin's surprising role in the story, and George Whitefield's complicated legacy, while offering a few gentle rebukes and, of course, creating youth group sermon illustrations based on the film.
