Speaker 1: for the event. It was cool. I met some new people,

Speaker 1: some new ministers in our community and I got connected

Speaker 1: with the new artists, but I am tired. I ain't

Speaker 1: I'm pressing through through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Speaker 1: So just pray for your brother. Yeah, because they wanted

Speaker 1: to do it on a Wednesday where I had to

Speaker 1: get off work early, then had to head the Bible

Speaker 1: study Wednesday night, and then back to work today after hauling,

Speaker 1: and I got a lot of equipment, so I had

Speaker 1: to bring equipment to the Juvenile attenden Center, pack it

Speaker 1: back up, and take it back home and unpackage so

Speaker 1: I can pick up the family. So just a lot

Speaker 1: not complaining. I'm praising God. This is awesome, but just

Speaker 1: letting you know, if I, you know, sound a little

Speaker 1: tired or something, just pray for your boy, all right,

Speaker 1: the scripture, and I'm gonna put away my little violin.

Speaker 1: This is awesome. This is an awesome privilege to be

Speaker 1: a servant of the Lord, Amen, and to get rich

Speaker 1: with his word. So verse five and we actually ended

Speaker 1: last segment were verse five, but we're just kind of

Speaker 1: overlapping on this segment today, and so as we always noticed.

Speaker 1: Paul's custom was to always go and find the synagogues

Speaker 1: when he would go into a new area to evangelize.

Speaker 1: He went where the people gathered to debate and to

Speaker 1: discuss how Jesus is the Messiah through scripture, which I

Speaker 1: would have loved to sit and listen to some of

Speaker 1: those conversations using scripture to prove the truth right, And

Speaker 1: that's what we're doing this podcast as well. So verse five,

Speaker 1: when Silast and Timothy had come from Macedonia, Paul was

Speaker 1: compelled by the spirit. Now we've talked about this last time,

Speaker 1: how God will bring men into women in your life

Speaker 1: that are a part of your destiny. They play a role.

Speaker 1: Now Paul was always doing it, but having his companions

Speaker 1: with them just made him go even harder. Right, Paul

Speaker 1: became fully focused on preaching. Once everyone a round. Now

Speaker 1: Paul was already working. Paul was very industrious, but now

Speaker 1: he's all in. And it said the spirit compelled him.

Speaker 1: So that equals to urgency. There was an urgency about

Speaker 1: his message, and we need to keep our urgency. Amen.

Speaker 1: That means that there was a little bit of pressure

Speaker 1: and a divine push for Paul to be focused and

Speaker 1: to go to the next level. So when God moves,

Speaker 1: we do not hesitate. We just respond to the prompting

Speaker 1: and the moving of the Holy Spirit Amen, verse six.

Speaker 1: But when they opposed him in blasphemed, he shook his garments. Wow,

Speaker 1: this is deep. This is deep, beloved. I pray that

Speaker 1: this will never happen to anyone listening to this podcast,

Speaker 1: and myself as well. See, it was a symbolic act.

Speaker 1: Paul was declaring that he was no longer responsible for

Speaker 1: their rejection. And man, let's be honest real quick. Everybody

Speaker 1: will not receive you, right, Everybody will not agree with truth.

Speaker 1: Paul did not just sit there and argue with them endlessly.

Speaker 1: Paul said, I did my part. There's a lot of

Speaker 1: reasons why people may reject the message. Maybe they just

Speaker 1: don't like you. Maybe they don't like something that you're wearing,

Speaker 1: or the way you talk or the way you look,

Speaker 1: or maybe there's jealousy or envy. There's a lot of

Speaker 1: reasons why people reject you and reject the truth you carry.

Speaker 1: But our part is only to plant the seed some

Speaker 1: of you are holding on to people God told you

Speaker 1: to release a long time ago. All we have to

Speaker 1: do is plant the seed and keep it pushing, hey man,

Speaker 1: verse six. So look at Paul's respond He says, for

Speaker 1: now on, I will go to the Gentiles. And so

Speaker 1: the Gentiles were already allowed to come in to this

Speaker 1: covenant relationship with God, but Paul chooses to change his

Speaker 1: focus in his tactic now because they rejected Paul, Paul

Speaker 1: decided to redirect. This is like redirection for Paul. Now

Speaker 1: God will move in you even from a close closed door.

Speaker 1: God will use those opportunities to redirect us once the

Speaker 1: door closes, beloved, look for the open door, right There's

Speaker 1: almost always an open door. You just gotta find it.

Speaker 1: Don't get discouraged because you're standing in front of a

Speaker 1: closed one. Don't get stuck where you are not received. Hallelujah, heymen.

Speaker 1: And I can speak this from person experience that opening

Speaker 1: the first and only Christian nightclub in Las Vegas in

Speaker 1: on the news, we've been in the newspaper. But it

Speaker 1: came to a point where people stopped supporting. Instead of support,

Speaker 1: it became opposition and there was one of the artists

Speaker 1: that before we opened the club, the artists used to

Speaker 1: be in another venue across town. He was local, but

Speaker 1: as it was actually a group and all they really

Speaker 1: did was open for other bigger names. Well, when we

Speaker 1: opened up cud His Hot, they headlined for the first time,

Speaker 1: and they blew up in our community. They blew up locally,

Speaker 1: and so you would think that there would be some

Speaker 1: support or maybe even some loyalty, some appreciation, you know,

Speaker 1: because God opened the door and we gave them that

Speaker 1: platform to go to the next level. Years later, when

Speaker 1: the rejection and the opposition came, he decided, I guess,

Speaker 1: and I just didn't notice until later he decided to

Speaker 1: post It was like a private conversation, but we were

Speaker 1: doing it through Facebook, through the DMS, and he decided

Speaker 1: to post that conversation online to where in that conversation

Speaker 1: and some things I guess were said, and I can't remember,

Speaker 1: to be honest, And plus I'm just finding this out,

Speaker 1: like I didn't see it personally, So I don't know.

Speaker 1: Maybe I'm wrong for sharing this, but I'm just using

Speaker 1: this as an example. It goes along with the scriptures

Speaker 1: for today. But I guess he posted this conversation and

Speaker 1: people didn't like it, and so people stopped supporting our events.

Speaker 1: We saw the crowd, Wayne, and Wayne, you know from

Speaker 1: this one person that you know, I believe that we

Speaker 1: were gracious and I'm the type of person you can

Speaker 1: come and talk to me about anything. Like no one

Speaker 1: really came and spoke to me or tried to work

Speaker 1: out any issue. But it kind of just went to rejection.

Speaker 1: And so what I'm saying is instead of me trying

Speaker 1: to get the crowd back, those seeing people, I just redirected.

Speaker 1: Now it's time to go to a new crowd. Time

Speaker 1: to go to a place where people actually receive. And yesterday,

Speaker 1: even though I was at the Juvenile Detentions Center doing

Speaker 1: my event there blessing the people and serving God, my wife,

Speaker 1: we had to split up the team his Hot So

Speaker 1: my wife went to a local high school, Valley High

Speaker 1: School yesterday and she represented his Hot Nation to the

Speaker 1: students and they were rejoicing. They were excited about it.

Speaker 1: So don't get discouraged. You know, once you come to

Speaker 1: a place where you're not received, go to where you

Speaker 1: are received and continue the vision that God has given you.

Speaker 1: So that was my whole point in bringing up this message. Now,

Speaker 1: I don't have bitterness. I don't have if I were

Speaker 1: to talk to the artists today, man, I would love

Speaker 1: on him, you know, hug him and all that good

Speaker 1: stuff and pray for him. And so I'm not gonna

Speaker 1: lose my bless scene by being bitter and unforgive and

Speaker 1: not love people even though things happen. But like I said,

Speaker 1: I'm just using it as a personal testimony to what

Speaker 1: Paul is dealing with right now. Amen, So worried verse seven,

Speaker 1: And he departed from there and entered the house of

Speaker 1: a certain men named Justice or Augustus or whatever.

Speaker 1: door to the synagogue. It seems kind of comical, but

Speaker 1: it's actually strategic because Paul was able to receive those

Speaker 1: He just went next door. God doesn't always move us

Speaker 1: far away. He just moves us where we are more effective.

Speaker 1: as they started going next door to where Paul was.

Speaker 1: I believe that was God's plan. The whole time. Now

Speaker 1: verse eight been uh, Chrispius, the ruler of the synagogue

Speaker 1: believed on the Lord. Wow, the ruler of the synategod,

Speaker 1: he believed in the Lord. Now just imagine this. You're

Speaker 1: up in the synagogue. You got some hater in, some opposition,

Speaker 1: in a crowd of people that resisted. But the very

Speaker 1: ruler of the synate God comes to the Lord, and

Speaker 1: now he's a believer. He cannot tell me that that

Speaker 1: was not God. Now, if Paul would have moved across

Speaker 1: that he would not have reached the ruler. He was

Speaker 1: right next door, close by, still working on him. Even

Speaker 1: though he walked away from their rejection, Paul did not

Speaker 1: a believer. Never think rejection means failure. Sometimes rejection is

Speaker 1: we all have our tribe, not in a sense that

Speaker 1: is allowed to correct and speak into your life, that

Speaker 1: person that will pray with you. Sometimes things won't break

Speaker 1: until there's agreement in prayer. And man, it's all scriptures,

Speaker 1: all biblical. Look it up. Allelujah. God wants unity, he

Speaker 1: wants community, he wants fellowship amongst us and with him. Amen.
