- 0:08Speaker 1: And I invited you here. I thought I made myself
- 0:14Speaker 1: perfectly clear. When you're a guest to my home, you
- 0:21Speaker 1: gotta come to me empty. And I said, no, guests,
- 0:27Speaker 1: your presences presence enough. I already had too much stuff,
- 0:35Speaker 1: So how.
- 0:35Speaker 2: Did you dare to surbey me?
- 0:49Speaker 3: Welcome to I said, no gift temperature? Why a girl,
- 0:54Speaker 3: We're here. I'm back. I got back last night. I
- 0:58Speaker 3: was on my trip. I've been on four flights in
- 1:02Speaker 3: a week. Every single time I made peace with dying.
- 1:08Speaker 3: So I'm back. I'm home. I am back to just
- 1:12Speaker 3: taking everything for granted, that didn't take that long. I
- 1:15Speaker 3: guess there's just no stopping. How afraid I am of turbulence,
- 1:20Speaker 3: I'm screaming. I screamed during turbulence, and then I sat
- 1:25Speaker 3: next to someone who smelled horrible. And I will say
- 1:30Speaker 3: Southwest Airlines is now providing pistachios. I've said some nasty
- 1:35Speaker 3: things about the airline. I've said some nice things. This
- 1:38Speaker 3: is a good move for an airline.
- 1:40Speaker 2: Shell or no shell, No shell. Okay, okay, we've got
- 1:45Speaker 2: a lot to talk about.
- 1:46Speaker 3: Let me see if I have any business here.
- 1:49Speaker 2: No, not really.
- 1:50Speaker 3: I came into the studio today and it smelled like
- 1:53Speaker 3: somebody had dropped a bottle of perfume, or an air
- 1:56Speaker 3: freshener had broken or something.
- 1:57Speaker 2: It's probably one of these gifts. I don't know.
- 2:00Speaker 3: Oh, I'm just realizing I left the windows open at
- 2:02Speaker 3: my house. Every window is open right now. That's a
- 2:05Speaker 3: tip for local burglars. I've got all of my windows
- 2:08Speaker 3: for the next hour and a half if you can
- 2:11Speaker 3: get over there. Well, I don't have that much. I mean,
- 2:15Speaker 3: my fridge is empty. I've got nothing to give you. Okay,
- 2:18Speaker 3: let's get into the podcast. Today's guest is absolutely fantastic.
- 2:22Speaker 3: It's a Rasha a Rausha.
- 2:23Speaker 2: Welcome. I said, no, thank you. I appreciate that.
- 2:26Speaker 3: We were just talking about mononym. Yes, yes we were,
- 2:29Speaker 3: and I'm now kind of circling the idea of just
- 2:32Speaker 3: dropping my last name altogether.
- 2:34Speaker 2: It's done.
- 2:35Speaker 4: Today is the day. It's the announcement. It's just Bridger.
- 2:38Speaker 3: I'm just gonna own Bridger. Yeah. I think if you
- 2:40Speaker 3: pull up on a name, take the mononym and that
- 2:43Speaker 3: you know Madonna. Nobody else is going by that.
- 2:46Speaker 2: Absolutely No, it's like a parking spot. Well you've claimed it,
- 2:51Speaker 2: now just throw out the keys, right and stay.
- 2:54Speaker 3: There really, and I feel like I'm not too late
- 2:58Speaker 3: on Bridger.
- 2:59Speaker 2: No oh No's and that's perfectly unique too, because then
- 3:03Speaker 2: like people, I'm sure they also try to mess that
- 3:06Speaker 2: up a little bit.
- 3:06Speaker 4: But if it's just that one name, that's all you
- 3:08Speaker 4: got to remember.
- 3:09Speaker 3: It's not that much to learn, right, because I am
- 3:12Speaker 3: asking people a lot with two of my with two
- 3:14Speaker 3: names that are a little bit confusing.
- 3:16Speaker 2: It's it's inconvenient. Actually, I'm coming here because the people
- 3:19Speaker 2: have been asking me to ask you to stop giving
- 3:22Speaker 2: two names out.
- 3:23Speaker 3: Bridger is being very rude. He's asking too much of me.
- 3:26Speaker 2: He's giving us a last name.
- 3:29Speaker 3: A horrible last name, by the way, one that's extremely.
- 3:32Speaker 2: Difficult, awful, it's so rude.
- 3:35Speaker 3: It's really cruel what I'm doing to people. Yes, so,
- 3:39Speaker 3: but Bridger, if people can commit to Bridger, huge, this
- 3:42Speaker 3: could be big for me. Yeah, you kind of do
- 3:44Speaker 3: this with your name, right right right. I feel like
- 3:47Speaker 3: you can own that now and nobody can really fight.
- 3:50Speaker 2: Absolutely. I think there's like maybe like there's got to
- 3:53Speaker 2: be one more Rasha out there that's like shit, you know,
- 3:58Speaker 2: you know, But but there is a I know there's
- 4:00Speaker 2: a resort and spa in Ecuador called.
- 4:03Speaker 3: Okay, that's far enough away.
- 4:05Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, well listen, I'm like we can collaborate.
- 4:08Speaker 3: Brand yeah, brand sponsor, sponsorship something.
- 4:11Speaker 2: I'm pretty probably I am brand open, I'm brand curious.
- 4:16Speaker 2: Become the face of a Russia. I'm just saying, like
- 4:19Speaker 2: a nice place.
- 4:20Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, oh my gosh, would like I've look it up.
- 4:23Speaker 2: It's got like waterfalls.
- 4:24Speaker 3: Okay, truly, if something has a waterfall, I'm on board.
- 4:28Speaker 2: It's waterfall mononym. That's all we need to say.
- 4:33Speaker 3: And then we were just talking about the idea of
- 4:34Speaker 3: everyone just being called by their number, which I said, well,
- 4:39Speaker 3: what if you know, chronologically speaking, what number would I
- 4:42Speaker 3: be at this point? I mean, I can't even how
- 4:46Speaker 3: many people do you think have been alive so far?
- 4:48Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 4:49Speaker 2: Right, Because we always talk about the current.
- 4:51Speaker 3: Right, we're in at what eight billions.
- 4:55Speaker 2: Something like that. I don't know when we made the
- 4:57Speaker 2: jump from seven billion to eight billions, but I will
- 4:59Speaker 2: happy quick, I'm sure.
- 5:01Speaker 4: But also was it wasn't always.
- 5:04Speaker 3: In the million, it's and it's the billion. I feel
- 5:08Speaker 3: like it's getting you know, one hundred and fifty years
- 5:11Speaker 3: ago is probably like now, I'm just making I would
- 5:15Speaker 3: say probably like four billion or something. You know, I
- 5:18Speaker 3: feel like Earth the population has rapidly exploded.
- 5:22Speaker 2: When, but when do you think that we hit like
- 5:25Speaker 2: the billion mark? Right? When did a billion people?
- 5:27Speaker 3: How long did it? Yeah? And before did it?
- 5:30Speaker 2: Ever? Like teeter a little under.
- 5:32Speaker 3: I think we should guess how many jelly beans are
- 5:33Speaker 3: in the jar? How many people have been alive in
- 5:37Speaker 3: the history of Earth. I would say like one hundred,
- 5:40Speaker 3: one hundred and thirty people.
- 5:43Speaker 2: I think. So that feels really large.
- 5:45Speaker 3: I know that might be too much. You've been too far.
- 5:47Speaker 4: Yeah, people are going to think we're dumb. Maybe we
- 5:50Speaker 4: don't get.
- 5:51Speaker 3: I actually I am going to google this. How many what's
- 5:53Speaker 3: the rough? How many people have been alive ever since
- 5:59Speaker 3: the beginning of time? Here we go, okay, okay, well,
- 6:03Speaker 3: I don't want to look at this stupid AI overview.
- 6:06Speaker 3: I'm not looking into them.
- 6:07Speaker 2: Give me the d give me the I'm going.
- 6:09Speaker 3: To the Population Reference Bureau. This is this is a real.
- 6:12Speaker 2: If it's got bureau in the name and.
- 6:15Speaker 3: It's being led by seventeen billion or so, Yeah, it's
- 6:19Speaker 3: a rough n one hundred and seventeen billion.
- 6:21Speaker 4: I gotta say I'm a little disappointed.
- 6:23Speaker 2: I know, I really thought we were going to learn
- 6:26Speaker 2: like a new word, like, you know, like a gajillion.
- 6:29Speaker 3: One hundred and seventeen. Seems like we could get there now.
- 6:32Speaker 3: We could get one hundred and seventeen billion people on Earth.
- 6:34Speaker 2: Now, reproduce everybody.
- 6:37Speaker 3: Right now, We've got the Midwest to fill up.
- 6:39Speaker 2: Yeah, please, because no one's there.
- 6:42Speaker 3: There's no but there's a lot of farmland we could build,
- 6:44Speaker 3: you know, some tall buildings, fill them all.
- 6:47Speaker 2: Yeah, that's what everybody's asking for out there, they want
- 6:51Speaker 2: really really vertical building.
- 6:52Speaker 3: Yes, I really do think since the beginning of time,
- 6:56Speaker 3: I would have guessed at least like three hundred billion, No, right,
- 6:59Speaker 3: I four hundred.
- 7:00Speaker 2: Billion, And I was like, no, don't say that. That's
- 7:02Speaker 2: like so few, that's like stupid. But I guess a
- 7:06Speaker 2: billion really is. It's a big thing. Big.
- 7:09Speaker 3: But then you start comparing that to how that like
- 7:12Speaker 3: really puts into perspective again, how much money a billionaire has.
- 7:15Speaker 2: Oh, and we're here, and we're here and I'm sure
- 7:18Speaker 2: we found ourselves.
- 7:20Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, since the beginning of time. So I basically
- 7:23Speaker 3: would probably be like, you know, one hundred and sixteen Yeah, no,
- 7:29Speaker 3: one hundred and sixteen seven hundred million something.
- 7:33Speaker 2: Something that's actually pretty exciting.
- 7:35Speaker 3: That number is kind of exciting.
- 7:37Speaker 2: Yeah, like we're the most recent billion.
- 7:39Speaker 3: Yeah, it's not that much to remember. No, no, could
- 7:42Speaker 3: work as names.
- 7:43Speaker 2: Yeah No, That's what I'm saying is like, that's how
- 7:45Speaker 2: we're going to stand out, you know, as actors, as comedians,
- 7:50Speaker 2: as performers, Like we just need to step in from
- 7:52Speaker 2: the slate and say, Hi, I'm one hundred and sixteen billion,
- 7:57Speaker 2: seven hundred million and forty five fall I'm changing my
- 8:02Speaker 2: IMDb now.
- 8:03Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, I get on it. The custom URLs are
- 8:06Speaker 4: going to.
- 8:06Speaker 3: Go off, but I'll keep Wineger one hundred and seventeen billion,
- 8:10Speaker 3: six hundred million, forty five winegar uh huh.
- 8:13Speaker 2: And they're like catchy yeah, yeah, that's a name that
- 8:16Speaker 2: rolls off the tongue.
- 8:19Speaker 3: Well, I'm glad that we've gotten around to this, because
- 8:21Speaker 3: I do need to fix my name. People have been
- 8:25Speaker 3: asking for it, they're riding in, they're bagging shit.
- 8:28Speaker 2: So and you're just now doing something.
- 8:30Speaker 3: Yeah, Well that's kind of how I live my entire life,
- 8:33Speaker 3: to be honest, I snooze like seventeen emails this morning, oh,
- 8:37Speaker 3: next week, next year.
- 8:38Speaker 2: Do you snooze your alarm too in the morning.
- 8:41Speaker 3: I do, And but it's at nine minutes. Why is
- 8:45Speaker 3: it nine minutes?
- 8:46Speaker 2: Yes, it's a normals as well. Is that like a
- 8:49Speaker 2: rem thing?
- 8:50Speaker 3: I don't know. That's a good question. Why how did
- 8:52Speaker 3: they land on nine not just ten? I feel like
- 8:55Speaker 3: a regular alarm is usually like, if you had an
- 8:57Speaker 3: alarm clock, it'd probably be ten minutes, right.
- 9:00Speaker 2: I don't know if regular alarm clocks even snooze, do they?
- 9:03Speaker 2: I thought the iPhone introduced that.
- 9:06Speaker 3: No, a regular like digital alarm clock has the button
- 9:09Speaker 3: you can slam, I think.
- 9:10Speaker 4: And we love that from the movies, just the yeah, exactly.
- 9:13Speaker 2: Where's the alarm clock this button? I've always wanted to
- 9:17Speaker 2: do that, and we can't do that with our iPhones.
- 9:19Speaker 3: I had an alarm clock, a Pokemon alarm clock as
- 9:21Speaker 3: a kid that was singing the Pokemon theme song. Just
- 9:25Speaker 3: just it's such an annoying thing to wake up to.
- 9:28Speaker 2: What's a whole? So you're like, I don't want to
- 9:31Speaker 2: be the very best. I don't want to cas I
- 9:32Speaker 2: want to be my worst in sleep all day. I
- 9:35Speaker 2: get that, but I.
- 9:36Speaker 3: Don't think that because I think that was shape probably
- 9:38Speaker 3: like a snore lax or something. So I don't think
- 9:40Speaker 3: I had a snooze I had.
- 9:42Speaker 2: I had a Montana one and it.
- 9:44Speaker 3: Was like shape like her head.
- 9:46Speaker 2: It was well, it was like a big purple one.
- 9:48Speaker 3: Oh.
- 9:49Speaker 2: But her like arm was kind of sticking out like
- 9:51Speaker 2: it was like in the like she her arms were
- 9:53Speaker 2: the terrifying. Oh yeah, she was like twelve and three
- 9:59Speaker 2: like the you know, so she'd like move around. But
- 10:02Speaker 2: I don't know, I thought it was cute when I
- 10:04Speaker 2: was younger. I guess I didn't think that we're just
- 10:06Speaker 2: deforming Hannah.
- 10:07Speaker 3: Yeah, kind of disembodied hands. Yeah, that seems I'm having
- 10:11Speaker 3: a very hard time picturing that. And now Miley's kind
- 10:14Speaker 3: of she just did her big she went back and
- 10:18Speaker 3: did she say she was she singing again as Hannah Montana?
- 10:22Speaker 2: Yes, but yeah, yeah, yeah, she had her big twentieth anniversary.
- 10:26Speaker 2: But the big gag was that she wasn't wearing a wig.
- 10:29Speaker 2: She just like had dyed some of her hair.
- 10:31Speaker 3: Okay, and she.
- 10:32Speaker 2: Has a new song. Amazing gag. And then the new
- 10:37Speaker 2: song is like to my younger self or something. Okay,
- 10:42Speaker 2: just touching it was. I did watch it. I did
- 10:45Speaker 2: watch it while I was on vacation. On vacation, I
- 10:49Speaker 2: was in Miami. Oh yeah, yeah, I mean I could
- 10:52Speaker 2: you call it a vacation if I was there for
- 10:53Speaker 2: a wedding.
- 10:54Speaker 3: No, absolutely not. I think that that's robbery. I think
- 10:58Speaker 3: if you have to go, I am record is saying
- 11:00Speaker 3: if you have to go to a different location for
- 11:02Speaker 3: someone's wedding, they should have to pay for it.
- 11:04Speaker 2: Okay, I'm so glad you brought this up.
- 11:07Speaker 3: Let's say it about it.
- 11:08Speaker 2: I don't think that you have to pay for like
- 11:11Speaker 2: the flight. I get it, like people are coming in
- 11:13Speaker 2: from like all over, but I feel as though you
- 11:16Speaker 2: have to give something, right.
- 11:17Speaker 4: I mean, I guess we are getting dinner, dinner, But.
- 11:20Speaker 3: There's a dinner at every wedding, Okay, so that doesn't
- 11:23Speaker 3: mean anything great.
- 11:23Speaker 4: So that cancels out, okay.
- 11:25Speaker 3: Drinks again most weddings.
- 11:28Speaker 2: Mostly if you're a good person.
- 11:30Speaker 3: Right, there's going to be something offered to you.
- 11:34Speaker 2: But then you got to stay somewhere. Yes, I mean
- 11:36Speaker 2: you're paying for a vacation, which is why I feel
- 11:40Speaker 2: like I'm trying to trick my head into being like, yeah,
- 11:41Speaker 2: it was on vacation, and you know, I just also,
- 11:43Speaker 2: there was a wedding in town that I attended.
- 11:44Speaker 3: How long were you there for?
- 11:46Speaker 2: Literally two days?
- 11:47Speaker 3: Okay, so that was not a vacation. They should have
- 11:49Speaker 3: paid for.
- 11:50Speaker 2: That, exactly. They're selfish.
- 11:52Speaker 3: If you had been there for six months, that would
- 11:54Speaker 3: make sense to me.
- 11:55Speaker 2: Exactly. Then obviously we have to do half and half.
- 11:57Speaker 2: They fund three months.
- 11:58Speaker 3: I found three months.
- 12:00Speaker 2: It's only right, and you've got time for a wedding,
- 12:03Speaker 2: right right, I can squeeze it in. But it's okay.
- 12:05Speaker 2: It was a lovely wedding. I love Miami and I
- 12:08Speaker 2: do love a wedding.
- 12:10Speaker 3: Okay, Okay, Well then see this is again where I'm
- 12:12Speaker 3: not crazy about it.
- 12:13Speaker 1: Really.
- 12:13Speaker 3: The dancing part I like the rest of it. I
- 12:15Speaker 3: can do without. Like the ceremonies, the ceremonious agony for me,
- 12:19Speaker 3: most of the socializing is no fun.
- 12:21Speaker 2: Oh yeah.
- 12:23Speaker 3: In general, the dinner's kind of mediocre. What am I
- 12:27Speaker 3: there for?
- 12:28Speaker 2: I mean, let's not say friendship, No, definitely not friendship.
- 12:32Speaker 2: I was not going there. Do not worry. This is
- 12:35Speaker 2: a motto that I have been recently living by. My
- 12:38Speaker 2: brother's friend actually gave this advice to him and he
- 12:41Speaker 2: passed on to me, and it works for any horrible
- 12:44Speaker 2: situation that you're in. Maybe not any, but for a
- 12:47Speaker 2: lot of them. It helps me when I'm just like
- 12:49Speaker 2: life sucks right now. At least it's interesting.
- 12:55Speaker 3: Oh okay, so that's the problem. Most of my horrible things.
- 12:58Speaker 2: Are boring, really tell me a horrible thing.
- 13:02Speaker 3: See, I mean, like, I can't even think of them,
- 13:04Speaker 3: they're so dull.
- 13:05Speaker 2: So yeah, most of the.
- 13:08Speaker 3: Things that are bad for me are in general not
- 13:11Speaker 3: even worth talking or writing about.
- 13:13Speaker 2: Okay, okay, but then I'm going to peel it a
- 13:16Speaker 2: layer back and I'm actually going to say, what's interesting
- 13:20Speaker 2: is that it's happening to you barely. That's interesting. It's like, oh,
- 13:26Speaker 2: I'm not just having a regular old day.
- 13:29Speaker 3: I'm upset and again this is my this is just
- 13:33Speaker 3: kind of the average daily thing for me is I'm
- 13:37Speaker 3: upset and board at the same time.
- 13:39Speaker 2: Then how interesting that this is a pattern for you.
- 13:44Speaker 2: We're seeing trends that is of interest.
- 13:49Speaker 3: That's very exciting.
- 13:50Speaker 2: Yes, so weddings, reunions, even if it's like you got
- 13:55Speaker 2: beef with the people interesting.
- 13:58Speaker 3: No, this is true. I do kind of agree with this.
- 14:00Speaker 3: This is how I deal with a bad dinner. Yes,
- 14:03Speaker 3: or if I like try a new restaurant and it
- 14:05Speaker 3: wasn't that great. I'm like, well, at least it was
- 14:07Speaker 3: not the same thing. At least I didn't enjoy myself
- 14:11Speaker 3: in a new location.
- 14:13Speaker 2: Absolutely, absolutely, there's something to consistency.
- 14:17Speaker 3: Yeah, exactly, So there's a little bit of that.
- 14:21Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 14:21Speaker 3: I basically at this point in my life, if I
- 14:23Speaker 3: agree to something, I'm like, well, at least it just
- 14:25Speaker 3: won't be you know, sitting in front of my computer.
- 14:29Speaker 2: Yes, I'll have left the house.
- 14:31Speaker 4: But isn't it just nice to sit in front of
- 14:33Speaker 4: your Oh.
- 14:34Speaker 3: It feels so good to kind of just dull the pain.
- 14:37Speaker 2: Yes, just show me my calendar one more time. Let
- 14:42Speaker 2: me just scroll to the right and look at this
- 14:44Speaker 2: Apple calendar.
- 14:45Speaker 3: Maybe I'll circle back to a snoozed email.
- 14:48Speaker 2: Oh my god, that is just like drugs.
- 14:51Speaker 3: Seriously, what did you do while you were in Miami?
- 14:58Speaker 2: Let's see, I went to the water, Okay, very nice.
- 15:01Speaker 3: Did you go in it?
- 15:03Speaker 2: Just an ankle okay, that's me.
- 15:06Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm more of an ocean ankle person.
- 15:08Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 15:09Speaker 2: I don't want to go deep in there. I don't
- 15:11Speaker 2: want that, but it was nice, you know. And then
- 15:15Speaker 2: let me see, we were staying in Fort Lauderdale technically
- 15:19Speaker 2: because that's where we flew in. And then there was
- 15:22Speaker 2: like an airbnb, and then the wedding had like a
- 15:25Speaker 2: pre party, you know those the pre the day before.
- 15:29Speaker 3: The commitments to take it so crazy.
- 15:32Speaker 2: And again fully funded by myself, because you gotta be
- 15:38Speaker 2: supportive to your friends. So we go to the prey,
- 15:41Speaker 2: which was at some like pizza place that was fun.
- 15:44Speaker 2: Sounds nice, sure, sure, And then like a big basketball
- 15:49Speaker 2: game was happening for college basketball.
- 15:52Speaker 3: Oh, I thought you were going to say they made
- 15:53Speaker 3: you play basketball?
- 15:55Speaker 2: Got going home? I just like made a half court shot.
- 15:57Speaker 2: It was crazy. No, there was some because it was
- 16:00Speaker 2: March madness. Okay, yes, you know anything about that.
- 16:04Speaker 3: I can say sweet sixteen. I can say the college
- 16:08Speaker 3: players are playing and eventually they get into this and
- 16:10Speaker 3: their brackets and eventually someone has crowned the winner.
- 16:14Speaker 2: What's sweet sixteen?
- 16:16Speaker 3: That is the final sixteen teams we're playing? Okay, well
- 16:20Speaker 3: we narrowed down to the terrible two. That's not two.
- 16:24Speaker 3: I don't know what the final right, I guess it's
- 16:26Speaker 3: probably the final two.
- 16:27Speaker 2: The final two. Yeah, the count, the final count, final
- 16:31Speaker 2: countdown to two, that's what they say.
- 16:34Speaker 3: And then there are the four, the two, there's.
- 16:36Speaker 2: The four is eight.
- 16:38Speaker 3: We're getting out of billions?
- 16:39Speaker 2: Yeah, something like that. So we caught the end of
- 16:44Speaker 2: one of those. Kay, right, what.
- 16:46Speaker 3: Are you cheering?
- 16:47Speaker 2: Were you excited?
- 16:48Speaker 1: No?
- 16:50Speaker 2: I mean I was just kind of going with it, right,
- 16:53Speaker 2: And that's the kind of person I am on vacation.
- 16:56Speaker 2: I'm not very much like Adamant that we like, go
- 16:59Speaker 2: do one and go do the next, which is strange
- 17:02Speaker 2: because I am I think type A and I do
- 17:04Speaker 2: like my life and work to be organized. But for me,
- 17:07Speaker 2: on vacation or any sort of other trip, I am
- 17:10Speaker 2: very much like I'm going to do whatever the vibes
- 17:13Speaker 2: are calling.
- 17:14Speaker 3: I think that's smart on vacation. Yeah, this is like
- 17:16Speaker 3: in the last five to ten years vacations for me,
- 17:18Speaker 3: I'm like I will have some big tent pole events
- 17:22Speaker 3: and then everything else because planning it down minute to
- 17:25Speaker 3: minute makes it a nightmare. Yes, it just becomes a
- 17:28Speaker 3: stress like everything is a challenge. You're trying to get
- 17:31Speaker 3: to everything on time. I just go and have a
- 17:33Speaker 3: pleasant time, as you should, maybe have three or four
- 17:36Speaker 3: things I really want to.
- 17:38Speaker 2: Do, agreed. I think if you have a schedule or
- 17:41Speaker 2: a timetable. I know it makes some people feel better,
- 17:44Speaker 2: but for me, I'm like, well then, how is this
- 17:45Speaker 2: any different from my daily life where I'm like meeting
- 17:48Speaker 2: from nine to Okay, that's the same thing. I get
- 17:52Speaker 2: the argument of people because I also just went to Japan.
- 17:54Speaker 3: Oh oh, that's a great place to not have that
- 17:56Speaker 3: much of a schedule.
- 17:57Speaker 2: Oh my goodness. But let me tell you. Everybody tried
- 18:00Speaker 2: to infiltrate a schedule for me. They were like, and
- 18:03Speaker 2: then this place, and then this place, and you got
- 18:04Speaker 2: to see this, and you got to do this, and
- 18:06Speaker 2: you're going all that so such a far distance that
- 18:08Speaker 2: if you.
- 18:08Speaker 4: Go, you got to make it worth it, and you
- 18:09Speaker 4: got to do this.
- 18:10Speaker 2: And I was like, I want to lay. I want
- 18:15Speaker 2: to lay horizontally in a beautiful new place. Yeah, do
- 18:21Speaker 2: I have to go see an old historical building? Are
- 18:25Speaker 2: you sure? Because what am I going to do? How
- 18:28Speaker 2: long am I going to spend looking at it? Where
- 18:31Speaker 2: did you go in Japan? Everywhere? Everywhere? Bridge or they
- 18:36Speaker 2: made me go everywhere?
- 18:37Speaker 3: Did you go with friends?
- 18:38Speaker 4: I went with my boyfriend.
- 18:39Speaker 2: Oh, okay, so we went to We flew into Tokyo
- 18:43Speaker 2: and then we did Kyoto. We took day trips to
- 18:45Speaker 2: Osaka to Nara to Hakone.
- 18:48Speaker 3: Oh beautiful, It's.
- 18:50Speaker 2: Truly so beautiful. Like loved it, loved it, loved it.
- 18:53Speaker 2: But I was recovering from the vacation for like two
- 18:58Speaker 2: weeks out. Oh the.
- 19:01Speaker 3: Jet lag coming back from Japan is one of the
- 19:04Speaker 3: most surreal things I've ever experienced.
- 19:06Speaker 2: It's still Monday, yeah, sure, like, surely it cannot.
- 19:11Speaker 3: Be oh agony. I was like, Oh, I think I've
- 19:13Speaker 3: just fully now broken the way I can sleep and
- 19:16Speaker 3: I just will never be the same again.
- 19:17Speaker 2: It was worth it, No, Like I left a part
- 19:20Speaker 2: of me in Japan, I don't know, and part of
- 19:22Speaker 2: it is in the air on the flight because I
- 19:25Speaker 2: hear what you're saying about turbulence too. Oh scary, Oh,
- 19:29Speaker 2: it's terrifying scary.
- 19:31Speaker 3: My boyfriend was trying to tell me he's watched a
- 19:33Speaker 3: lot of YouTube so I don't know when I haven't
- 19:35Speaker 3: seen any of these YouTube videos he's watched about planes. Yeah,
- 19:38Speaker 3: but he's and knock on wood, but he says that
- 19:41Speaker 3: he's watched a lot of pilots say that turbulence cannot
- 19:44Speaker 3: no matter how bad it is, it's not really going
- 19:47Speaker 3: to do anything yes, but what are we talking about?
- 19:50Speaker 2: What do you mean? So that's just to shake things up,
- 19:54Speaker 2: like just in case you guys were feeling secure and safe,
- 19:57Speaker 2: we just want to bounce around a little.
- 19:58Speaker 3: I am flying off my How is that not dangerous? Right?
- 20:02Speaker 2: Why am I putting my tray table up there? Yes?
- 20:05Speaker 2: But you're right, that is what I hear. Is like,
- 20:07Speaker 2: it's like, imagine that the clouds are like a big
- 20:10Speaker 2: bounce house and the plane is literally just doing that fun.
- 20:17Speaker 3: Yeah, that's the thing that the plane should not be doing.
- 20:20Speaker 3: So now it is in danger as far as I'm concerned,
- 20:23Speaker 3: And I don't need a pilot telling me otherwise.
- 20:25Speaker 2: Exactly, I might just be joining the people who are
- 20:27Speaker 2: applauding when we land sometimes.
- 20:30Speaker 3: And out landing for me, I'm even scared about. I
- 20:32Speaker 3: had my windows shut and I thought we were still
- 20:34Speaker 3: descending it and we hit the crap and I was like,
- 20:36Speaker 3: oh my god.
- 20:37Speaker 2: That's always scary when you aren't keeping track and all
- 20:40Speaker 2: of a sudden you land.
- 20:41Speaker 4: You're like, oh, period, I'm here, all right.
- 20:45Speaker 2: Got it. No, it's very scary. And truly flying is
- 20:48Speaker 2: like the least my least favorite part of getting to
- 20:50Speaker 2: go places.
- 20:51Speaker 3: Every time, I'm like, I think this is I can't
- 20:53Speaker 3: do this anymore.
- 20:54Speaker 2: The last time I'm gonna fly.
- 20:55Speaker 3: I'm driving or taking a boat from now on because
- 20:58Speaker 3: it's just too much.
- 21:00Speaker 2: What about the grace of walking? Fucking I'll get there
- 21:03Speaker 2: when I get there, you know what I mean.
- 21:06Speaker 4: We can stop on the way. There's no rush.
- 21:10Speaker 3: Let me ask you about Nara. I haven't been to
- 21:12Speaker 3: Nara in Japan. This is where all the deer are.
- 21:14Speaker 2: Right that, yes, yes, indeed, what was this experience? So
- 21:20Speaker 2: the big thing that's there are indeed the deer that
- 21:23Speaker 2: you get to meet and exchange some bows.
- 21:29Speaker 1: Uh.
- 21:30Speaker 4: They say it's like the hippogriff in Harry Potter.
- 21:34Speaker 2: Oh interesting apparently. Okay, don't come for me with the
- 21:38Speaker 2: Harry Potter stuff. I swear I love him. But but yes,
- 21:43Speaker 2: I think it's like some sort of thing where, yeah,
- 21:46Speaker 2: you like, you bow in front of it and it
- 21:48Speaker 2: bows back, and so similarly the deer they do this
- 21:52Speaker 2: as well. You bow and the deer bow, and then
- 21:54Speaker 2: you get to give them the crackers that people on
- 21:56Speaker 2: the street are giving to you. I am a little rightened.
- 22:00Speaker 2: I'm I'm a scared person in general, Okay, and and
- 22:04Speaker 2: I and I am so scared. I think of a
- 22:07Speaker 2: lot of animals because I I didn't grow up with
- 22:09Speaker 2: any pets, so I always I have this theory that
- 22:12Speaker 2: animals can sense that, right, and so they're like you,
- 22:16Speaker 2: you haven't had an animal in your home, like you
- 22:17Speaker 2: don't get us to bully you exactly, And I'm fair, fair,
- 22:21Speaker 2: fair fair, I'm gonna keep myself at a distance. So
- 22:23Speaker 2: I I was trying to, you know, be friendly and
- 22:27Speaker 2: not be a threat and just kind of be there.
- 22:29Speaker 2: But it was also just so public. They just were
- 22:32Speaker 2: very much around. They're walking like on the street like
- 22:35Speaker 2: it's they're just around. It's very and they very clean.
- 22:40Speaker 2: Do they seem yeah, yeah, I mean you know, as
- 22:44Speaker 2: clean as you know wild animals can be. But but
- 22:48Speaker 2: they are truly so cherished in that city. That is
- 22:52Speaker 2: like the beauty of this landmark. And it's it's disappointing
- 22:56Speaker 2: because I think a lot of people don't understand that,
- 22:59Speaker 2: and there's always to be like naturally like disrespect. I'm
- 23:02Speaker 2: annoying person, right, Someone's like what happens if I push it?
- 23:06Speaker 2: And it's like, well then you'll die, Like they'll come back.
- 23:10Speaker 3: I've seen the videos of deer like punching people.
- 23:13Speaker 2: Oh oh yes, And those signs are everywhere too. It's
- 23:16Speaker 2: like there are big signs that are like, you know,
- 23:19Speaker 2: don't touch them, feed them, but like if you get
- 23:22Speaker 2: too close, like trust like they are wild attack and
- 23:25Speaker 2: they should right. And I was like, and you know what,
- 23:27Speaker 2: I'm gonna take that one step previous and just hardly
- 23:31Speaker 2: do anything.
- 23:32Speaker 3: Did you feed one?
- 23:33Speaker 2: I've fed one?
- 23:34Speaker 3: Okay, do just like lick it out of your hand.
- 23:36Speaker 2: Yeah, it's more of like a little pinch. Oh.
- 23:38Speaker 3: Interesting, I don't like that.
- 23:40Speaker 2: I don't. I don't like it either. It is interesting,
- 23:43Speaker 2: it is interesting, but you know it's a little it's
- 23:45Speaker 2: a little grab and it's like if you know how
- 23:47Speaker 2: that feels on your hand, then lovely. Sure. But we
- 23:50Speaker 2: we similarly also did This wasn't in Nara, This was
- 23:54Speaker 2: in Osuka. Maybe we went to the monkey park.
- 23:58Speaker 3: I think that's I went to in Kyoto. That was
- 24:01Speaker 3: in Kyoto where you go inside the little place and
- 24:03Speaker 3: they're like the grapes.
- 24:05Speaker 2: I think it was called Arashiyama.
- 24:06Speaker 3: Yes, that sounds familiar.
- 24:09Speaker 2: Perfect, And the monkeys in there we fed and that
- 24:13Speaker 2: was so cute. That was so wonderful.
- 24:16Speaker 3: Although I saw a family just letting their toddler walk around,
- 24:19Speaker 3: it is like that toddler's going to be taken into
- 24:21Speaker 3: the forest.
- 24:22Speaker 2: Just what are you doing? Okay? And I'm actually so
- 24:24Speaker 2: glad that you said this because I need to share
- 24:26Speaker 2: a story that I haven't actually said out loud. And
- 24:28Speaker 2: I hope that it's okay because it's not my trauma.
- 24:30Speaker 2: It's in fact, my brother's trauma. So, uh, my brother
- 24:33Speaker 2: and I were both born in India and we spent
- 24:36Speaker 2: just like the first couple of years of our life
- 24:38Speaker 2: there before my family immigrated while we were in India.
- 24:41Speaker 2: This is a fully true story.
- 24:42Speaker 3: Oh, I'm so excited.
- 24:43Speaker 2: Wow.
- 24:44Speaker 3: Based on the theme.
- 24:45Speaker 2: Yeah, so I wasn't born yet, I believe I think
- 24:49Speaker 2: my brother was just like one okay, And in India
- 24:53Speaker 2: there are monkeys around and they are similarly also just
- 24:57Speaker 2: out and about. And my brother's room, my mom like
- 25:03Speaker 2: had just put him down in his crib and was
- 25:06Speaker 2: just like she just like walked out for a second.
- 25:09Speaker 2: The door was open, and a monkey came into his
- 25:13Speaker 2: room and picked him up, oh and took him out?
- 25:16Speaker 3: What how did they get him back?
- 25:18Speaker 2: So so full kidnapping? The monkey like just took my
- 25:23Speaker 2: brother out the window, and my mom like kind of
- 25:26Speaker 2: comes back. She like sees a little bit of this happened,
- 25:28Speaker 2: and she's freaking out. She's crying, she's screaming, she's on
- 25:31Speaker 2: the phone. She's like a monkey took face, so like crying.
- 25:34Speaker 3: You can't reason with a monkey.
- 25:35Speaker 2: No, literally, but get this a few seconds later, brings
- 25:40Speaker 2: him back and just puts him back. She experience, but
- 25:45Speaker 2: also like is that my brother?
- 25:48Speaker 3: Oh? Interesting, did the monkey return?
- 25:51Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 25:53Speaker 3: You cannot do a dnahs. I could rip the family
- 25:55Speaker 3: apart exactly.
- 25:56Speaker 2: No, we don't talk about it, but like genuinely true story. Wow,
- 26:00Speaker 2: Like like I was just talking about it with my
- 26:02Speaker 2: brother too, because he just went back to India for
- 26:04Speaker 2: something and he was talking about and he was like
- 26:06Speaker 2: and like I saw some monkeys and like if you remember,
- 26:08Speaker 2: And I was like, you're trauma, Yeah, you're trauma. And
- 26:11Speaker 2: he was like, thank you for remembering that.
- 26:14Speaker 3: He could have been swapped.
- 26:16Speaker 2: He probably was, baby, I mean listen, like truly the
- 26:20Speaker 2: monkeys were like I imagine, they just like held him
- 26:22Speaker 2: up and all of them were like look look at
- 26:24Speaker 2: the human boy. And he was like, can I please
- 26:27Speaker 2: go back? To my crib.
- 26:29Speaker 3: That's very exciting.
- 26:31Speaker 2: I know it's good for him. Good for him. I mean,
- 26:34Speaker 2: you know, he's scared.
- 26:35Speaker 3: But I wonder what happened in those few seconds where
- 26:38Speaker 3: the monkey was like, okay, maybe I've maybe I've crossed
- 26:41Speaker 3: the liney.
- 26:41Speaker 2: We'll never know. Wow, well, like we'll actually never know.
- 26:45Speaker 2: I need to actually like, like ask my mom.
- 26:49Speaker 3: Mom. I know that's real trauma for her. Oh my god.
- 26:52Speaker 3: I went missing in like a community center once, and
- 26:56Speaker 3: that was enough for my mom.
- 26:57Speaker 2: Oh no, do you remember.
- 26:59Speaker 3: I do remember, because they found me. I think I
- 27:01Speaker 3: was like two. They found me in the women's restroom
- 27:03Speaker 3: on the toilet.
- 27:05Speaker 2: You creep, you big old.
- 27:07Speaker 3: Creep, creeping around. But that was a hugely traumatic thing
- 27:13Speaker 3: for her. So I can't imagine like my monkey has
- 27:15Speaker 3: taken your baby.
- 27:16Speaker 2: Oh my god. Yeah, I mean listen, this is obviously
- 27:19Speaker 2: not the same thing. But like, you know, when you
- 27:21Speaker 2: lose your phone.
- 27:22Speaker 3: Oh my god, I think it's worse.
- 27:25Speaker 2: Oh, I knowing is like pennies, but this, when you
- 27:30Speaker 2: lose your phone, you're like.
- 27:32Speaker 3: Can't take care of itself. Hey, what am I going
- 27:34Speaker 3: to do?
- 27:35Speaker 2: It must be so scared. It's like the sixteenth version
- 27:38Speaker 2: of that thing. It's probably horrified.
- 27:41Speaker 3: It's running out of batteries. It could be stepped on.
- 27:44Speaker 2: Its silenced.
- 27:45Speaker 3: Oh of cose, do not disturb Folly.
- 27:48Speaker 2: Oh my god, it's shaking.
- 27:49Speaker 3: You can't speak for itself.
- 27:51Speaker 2: Poor thing.
- 27:53Speaker 3: And a baby, I mean a baby is probably gonna find.
- 27:55Speaker 2: Its way, right, You'll learn your words, you'll talk to somebody,
- 27:58Speaker 2: We'll find you selfish.
- 28:00Speaker 3: Oh well, speaking of trauma and being shaken up. Yeah,
- 28:05Speaker 3: I was excited to have you here on the podcast.
- 28:08Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 28:08Speaker 3: I thought Russia will come by, we'll have a nice
- 28:10Speaker 3: conversation and move on with our lives. Yes, the podcast
- 28:14Speaker 3: is called I said no gifts, so I was a
- 28:17Speaker 3: little surprised when you kind of sauntered into the studio
- 28:20Speaker 3: holding what I would describe it as a very large,
- 28:23Speaker 3: heavy gift.
- 28:25Speaker 2: Right except for me, I mean I thought it was
- 28:30Speaker 2: like a sarcastic thing, you know how like people are
- 28:34Speaker 2: like I'm having a party, but like no gifts, and
- 28:36Speaker 2: it's like, don't be a dick, bring a gift, right,
- 28:40Speaker 2: So I just didn't want to be rude, so I did.
- 28:43Speaker 2: I did bring a back pedal.
- 28:46Speaker 3: Yeah, Well, it is enormous and it is heavy.
- 28:49Speaker 2: It's very heavy.
- 28:50Speaker 3: Here, I'll grab it. Okay, this is an enormous Uh.
- 29:00Speaker 3: It's a like a cardboard box with some beautiful blue
- 29:02Speaker 3: tissue flying out.
- 29:03Speaker 1: Huh.
- 29:04Speaker 2: Yes, I was gonna, like I told you, I was.
- 29:06Speaker 2: I'm a scared person. I worry so much. I overthink
- 29:09Speaker 2: like crazy. Right, So last night I was thinking about
- 29:12Speaker 2: how I was gonna wrap this box for you, and
- 29:15Speaker 2: I was like, okay, we have this like gift wrap paper.
- 29:18Speaker 2: We have this with this Christmas wrapping. I could wrap
- 29:21Speaker 2: it up. I could tape it, but I don't know.
- 29:22Speaker 2: Half time and.
- 29:23Speaker 4: Then I was like, maybe I'll just put tissue paper
- 29:26Speaker 4: on top.
- 29:26Speaker 3: Then and hear that I love that this podcast is
- 29:30Speaker 3: doing this to people.
- 29:31Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, no, listen, I got creative.
- 29:35Speaker 3: Well should we open it here?
- 29:36Speaker 2: Yes, there's a lot to this. There are, in fact,
- 29:43Speaker 2: I think a few stages, oh my god, that we
- 29:45Speaker 2: will hit.
- 29:45Speaker 3: Did they have to go in order? No?
- 29:47Speaker 2: No, not at all. I think I think there's there's
- 29:50Speaker 2: like a stack of something right at the top. Okay,
- 29:52Speaker 2: and I think we maybe either start or end with that.
- 29:55Speaker 3: Okay, perfect, Yes, all right, let's get some.
- 29:57Speaker 2: Tissue here, yes, yes, get it out of there. Okay.
- 30:03Speaker 3: Oh oh I like this.
- 30:06Speaker 2: Yes, okay, I'm so glad you asked. Oh my god,
- 30:10Speaker 2: this is such a casual.
- 30:11Speaker 3: Natural transition bestpool with the Rush show. Want to be
- 30:13Speaker 3: Oh is this a new podcast?
- 30:15Speaker 1: It is?
- 30:16Speaker 3: Is this launched yet?
- 30:17Speaker 2: It did? It did launched? And this is my formal
- 30:22Speaker 2: request to have you on.
- 30:25Speaker 3: Oh my god, of course.
- 30:27Speaker 2: So these are the fires from the show that we've
- 30:29Speaker 2: put up around town. It's a call in confession show, right,
- 30:33Speaker 2: and anybody can call that number and leave a dirty
- 30:37Speaker 2: little secret.
- 30:38Speaker 3: We've got to get a phone number for this show.
- 30:40Speaker 3: Oh ell, let's get on it. Get us Okay, So
- 30:43Speaker 3: people call in and leave secrets? Have you gotten some
- 30:48Speaker 3: some You're gonna get a like a murder confession?
- 30:51Speaker 2: Oh?
- 30:52Speaker 3: You are just asking for that.
- 30:54Speaker 2: So so I have a lovely, lovely team that is
- 30:58Speaker 2: the ones who go through all the calls. Okay they
- 31:02Speaker 2: So we we put I sort of put these flyers
- 31:05Speaker 2: up around town. I put up some social media to
- 31:07Speaker 2: promote the show and everything, and we got Currently we're
- 31:10Speaker 2: at about sixteen thousand confessions. What a catastrophe of what
- 31:18Speaker 2: how do you get through that? I mean, listen, we
- 31:22Speaker 2: love our interns, we love our interns, so they screen
- 31:28Speaker 2: and pick out the craziest ones and then play them
- 31:31Speaker 2: live for me and a guest. I come on, you
- 31:34Speaker 2: have to come on.
- 31:35Speaker 3: You come on with a monkey calls and says it
- 31:36Speaker 3: took a baby.
- 31:37Speaker 2: This was crazy. I really regret doing this. I shouldn't
- 31:41Speaker 2: have done this, but I took somebody's brother.
- 31:44Speaker 3: Okay, this is very exciting. Well, people will need to
- 31:46Speaker 3: listen to this. Yes, and should I say the phone
- 31:49Speaker 3: number on this podcast?
- 31:50Speaker 2: Absolutely sure?
- 31:51Speaker 3: Might as well throw some more into the sixteen thousands,
- 31:53Speaker 3: for sure.
- 31:54Speaker 2: I mean listen, you brought up the podcast I didn't
- 31:57Speaker 2: say or do, and oh I underneath it and.
- 32:00Speaker 3: I we'll get to this in just a moment. Sure,
- 32:04Speaker 3: but the phone number listener, if you want to call
- 32:05Speaker 3: and leave a secret, is two one three four two
- 32:08Speaker 3: one one nine six four. Okay, very exciting, perfect speaking
- 32:14Speaker 3: of these like uh telephone pole things you staple on.
- 32:18Speaker 3: I saw somebody going around Highland Park that did not
- 32:20Speaker 3: look like an official today, A man with a beautiful
- 32:23Speaker 3: long gray ponytail, ripping all of the signs off.
- 32:26Speaker 2: Yes, yes, have you seen this guy before? Yeah? No,
- 32:31Speaker 2: right me talking, that's my guy. That is my father.
- 32:34Speaker 3: Yeah, this guy didn't look like he was from the
- 32:36Speaker 3: city or anything. I was like, who is this interesting?
- 32:39Speaker 2: Okay, because what I did learn is that some neighborhoods
- 32:42Speaker 2: it is illegal, Oh put stuff on?
- 32:45Speaker 3: Why cares come?
- 32:47Speaker 2: Surely there's got to be crazier stuff going on that
- 32:50Speaker 2: you have to attend to. No, But apparently in a
- 32:52Speaker 2: few places, including I think North Hollywood and Studio City,
- 32:56Speaker 2: maybe a couple of the places that's put that stuff up. Okay,
- 33:01Speaker 2: now East Hollywood staple tape, taste on the sidewalk you want, yeah,
- 33:08Speaker 2: And I'm sure there's lots of other options.
- 33:09Speaker 4: But I learned that as we were kind of putting
- 33:11Speaker 4: them up, as I was like, why.
- 33:13Speaker 2: Aren't there any on these interesting?
- 33:15Speaker 3: And I was like, oh, looks like we have to
- 33:17Speaker 3: actually check, yeah, because there's some neighborhood busybody going around
- 33:21Speaker 3: taking them off like this guy.
- 33:22Speaker 2: And I'm like, sorry, you hate community and podcasts, right,
- 33:26Speaker 2: you hate promotion? Got it?
- 33:28Speaker 3: Well that's very interesting to know. Well, everyone, keep your
- 33:31Speaker 3: eye out for a man with a long gray ponytail.
- 33:33Speaker 3: He's coming for your sign.
- 33:35Speaker 2: Yeah, and he hates fest Pool. Yes, he hates this show.
- 33:40Speaker 3: Okay, Well, it seems like we have a lot to
- 33:43Speaker 3: look at here in this box. Okay, listener, uh and viewers, Yeah,
- 33:48Speaker 3: you may not be aware of what's going on here,
- 33:51Speaker 3: but this is a box literally full of what seems
- 33:53Speaker 3: to be perfumes and lotions. And okay, first of all,
- 33:58Speaker 3: we've got something called marad Acney Control retexturizing body pads.
- 34:04Speaker 3: Is there something to say before we get into.
- 34:06Speaker 2: All of these? There absolutely is, because.
- 34:09Speaker 3: Right, there's so many items.
- 34:12Speaker 2: There are a lot of items. And here's the thing
- 34:16Speaker 2: I'm gonna I'm gonna say this in the most positive
- 34:18Speaker 2: and best way that I know, you know, as as
- 34:23Speaker 2: I'm sure you relate, right, we we we receive so
- 34:26Speaker 2: many kind gifts, sure, sure, And and you know, oftentimes
- 34:31Speaker 2: from brands you know that are like you know, releasing
- 34:34Speaker 2: new lines, new launches of their own, and a lot
- 34:37Speaker 2: of times, right they'll tap on people like us to
- 34:40Speaker 2: help promote them. Try to try it, and they'll and
- 34:44Speaker 2: they'll send over that that good, good, good free pr
- 34:48Speaker 2: And let me just say this loud and proud. I
- 34:50Speaker 2: am so thankful, I'm so blessed, and I'm so grateful. However,
- 34:59Speaker 2: I have an abundance. This is unbelievable I've got a lot,
- 35:04Speaker 2: and I want to share the wealth of some of
- 35:08Speaker 2: these lovely brands.
- 35:10Speaker 3: This feels like I could just this amount of different
- 35:14Speaker 3: skin products could absolutely burn you into a skeleton, right
- 35:19Speaker 3: exactly like you used all at once.
- 35:21Speaker 2: I can't. Yeah, it's it's a little stressful for me
- 35:24Speaker 2: to feel like I need to use them every single
- 35:26Speaker 2: day in order to you know, that's not like a
- 35:28Speaker 2: consistent regimen exactly exactly. So I do use all of these.
- 35:33Speaker 2: I just use the first one that they've sent, and
- 35:35Speaker 2: I'm still on that. I'm still on the first one
- 35:38Speaker 2: that they've sent, And I don't want these to expire
- 35:40Speaker 2: in any way, and I want to share them with
- 35:43Speaker 2: my new good friend Bridge.
- 35:44Speaker 3: I'm looking at something called a hair body and linen misst.
- 35:48Speaker 3: We won't say the brand, so we can say whatever
- 35:50Speaker 3: we want about it. Yeah, I feel like if something
- 35:52Speaker 3: is for your hair body and for fabric, we're getting
- 35:56Speaker 3: into some dangerous tears.
- 35:57Speaker 4: It's giving head and shoulder and knees and toes.
- 36:00Speaker 3: Yeah, we're a little like, what which of these will
- 36:03Speaker 3: it damage the least?
- 36:04Speaker 4: Right, We're gonna need We're gonna need one focus point.
- 36:07Speaker 3: Yeah, because if I can put it on my rug.
- 36:10Speaker 3: I don't know that I'm crazy about putting it in
- 36:13Speaker 3: my hair.
- 36:13Speaker 2: Absolutely, I mean it is a.
- 36:15Speaker 3: Gorgeous Again, we won't say the name.
- 36:17Speaker 2: Yes, yes, and can I at least say this though
- 36:20Speaker 2: it's a celebrity brand.
- 36:21Speaker 3: Oh it is.
- 36:23Speaker 2: And that tells you a lot.
- 36:25Speaker 3: That tells you everything you need to know about the
- 36:27Speaker 3: fact that it does does it all? This could probably
- 36:30Speaker 3: be used as like windshield wipe or fluid or something.
- 36:32Speaker 2: And listen, this is for everybody. This is for the team. Okay,
- 36:36Speaker 2: everybody's gonna get a look in this box. If you're like,
- 36:38Speaker 2: wait a minute, free pr I am sharing.
- 36:43Speaker 3: We've got something called a B tight lift and firm
- 36:45Speaker 3: booty mask. I'll put that on now.
- 36:48Speaker 2: That one I'm not sharing with anybody except for you. Actually,
- 36:51Speaker 2: that one is for you, and I thought you could
- 36:53Speaker 2: apply it, you know, on.
- 36:54Speaker 3: Camera, would be a good name for me.
- 36:55Speaker 2: Be tight, be tight, B time, not minem be tight.
- 37:01Speaker 3: Be tight. Okay, So we've got I mean, and then
- 37:03Speaker 3: we've got I mean, we're just listener. Yeah, it's a
- 37:05Speaker 3: kind of have you gotten anything where you tried using
- 37:08Speaker 3: it and it was like, oh, this was a big mistake.
- 37:10Speaker 2: So okay there. Okay, so there's a lot of skincare
- 37:14Speaker 2: of top, underneath is a lot of makeup. Oh okay,
- 37:17Speaker 2: eyes peeled. I know huge. I'm not I'm not saying
- 37:22Speaker 2: that I'm not into this. It just personally isn't great
- 37:26Speaker 2: for me. But uh the brand, two faced shout out
- 37:30Speaker 2: to face face. Yeah, yeah, t o, Okay, we're good.
- 37:34Speaker 2: I know. They send me their like new like makeup.
- 37:39Speaker 2: They like always drop new like lip gloss or new
- 37:41Speaker 2: blush or whatever. They specifically do a lot of lip injection. Okay,
- 37:46Speaker 2: so stuff that's going to make your lips a little
- 37:48Speaker 2: fun at home.
- 37:50Speaker 3: Lip injection at home?
- 37:51Speaker 2: Right, So no needles or anything. It's just you put
- 37:53Speaker 2: a gloss on. But then it gives you just a
- 37:56Speaker 2: little bit of a burn. Oh and you know some people.
- 37:59Speaker 3: Like the burn, right it feels like something's working.
- 38:01Speaker 2: Sure, or you know, they want to feel something.
- 38:04Speaker 3: Right, I don't want to to me that that makes
- 38:08Speaker 3: me think, do I call poison control? Have I done
- 38:11Speaker 3: something that will be irreversible?
- 38:13Speaker 2: Right? Right? And listen, two face like comment. If you're like, girl,
- 38:17Speaker 2: that's not supposed to happen. Maybe it's me, Maybe I'm
- 38:20Speaker 2: the problem. But for me. I don't love it. I
- 38:23Speaker 2: know some some people are like, you know it works
- 38:26Speaker 2: for me, or like I know, like you know, beauty's pain, whatever,
- 38:29Speaker 2: do your thing. I just feel as though I have
- 38:31Speaker 2: enough juicy on my lip right now. I'm gonna be
- 38:34Speaker 2: okay with that. But I did supply it for you.
- 38:37Speaker 2: I did give you that just in case you choose.
- 38:39Speaker 1: Well.
- 38:39Speaker 3: When I hear when I hear two face, the only
- 38:41Speaker 3: thing I think about is the Batman villain whose face
- 38:44Speaker 3: is heavily scarred from acid being thrown on his face.
- 38:46Speaker 3: So then I start thinking, is this, uh if that
- 38:49Speaker 3: could be an interesting new origin story for that villain,
- 38:51Speaker 3: just using some face like some sort of new facial product.
- 38:54Speaker 2: We have to write that sketch. He's like in the hospital,
- 38:57Speaker 2: he turns over and the guy and the guy I.
- 38:59Speaker 3: Was trying to plump my lip.
- 39:01Speaker 2: Yeah, and he's like, well it didn't work because you
- 39:04Speaker 2: didn't try to faced, which, by the way, so grateful,
- 39:09Speaker 2: so grateful.
- 39:10Speaker 3: So but it just you don't like the burn.
- 39:12Speaker 2: Basically, I just don't like the burn. But that again
- 39:14Speaker 2: could be a me thing.
- 39:15Speaker 3: Okay, so this is a product. What celebrity does they
- 39:20Speaker 3: thing called being French?
- 39:22Speaker 2: So it's Frenchy, Frenchy, Frenchy, and that's Ashley Tisdale, that's
- 39:27Speaker 2: my girl, Sharpey. So we got to show a little respect.
- 39:30Speaker 2: Cutie branding, cutie branding. And let me say I love
- 39:34Speaker 2: their lotion. Okay, good lotion and shampoo conditioner.
- 39:39Speaker 4: Oh yeah, oh yeah, love that stuff.
- 39:41Speaker 2: Right, but again, it's like I got three four rollers
- 39:45Speaker 2: or perfumes and it's like.
- 39:47Speaker 3: Glow on perfume oil? What does that even mean? What
- 39:50Speaker 3: glow on?
- 39:51Speaker 2: Ashley actually actually let us know.
- 39:55Speaker 3: Okay, this is uh, this is just a va Seline product.
- 39:59Speaker 3: Everybody's out of partner.
- 40:01Speaker 2: Yes, yes, what is this? It's I think it's like
- 40:04Speaker 2: some shiny lotion, right, doing you a favor. We're shouting
- 40:09Speaker 2: out so many brand names they are going to come onto.
- 40:11Speaker 2: This is going to just yeah, make sure you good
- 40:14Speaker 2: product basement right there there you go.
- 40:16Speaker 3: Vacine, provide a B three. Have you so they burned?
- 40:22Speaker 3: Thing didn't work out? Have there been outside of things
- 40:24Speaker 3: that have been sent to you, have you ever had
- 40:26Speaker 3: a bad like skin care product or something something you.
- 40:29Speaker 2: Can well again, I just think of something else that
- 40:34Speaker 2: was my fault. I got a bath bombay from Lush.
- 40:39Speaker 2: I think love Lush.
- 40:41Speaker 3: Lush is the place you go in and everything shaped
- 40:43Speaker 3: like food, Yes, yes, you go in and disappointment like
- 40:48Speaker 3: a candy store.
- 40:50Speaker 2: Yes, candy story. It's it's a great vibe and everybody
- 40:53Speaker 2: there is so kind and always like did you want
- 40:55Speaker 2: to wash your hands? I love the washing. I didn't
- 40:58Speaker 2: want to wash my hands. I got a bath bomb
- 41:01Speaker 2: there once and no, actually I got sent this bath bomb. Okay, No,
- 41:08Speaker 2: Lush Lush sent me a bath bomb.
- 41:11Speaker 3: This could be a like a male bomb. This is
- 41:13Speaker 3: just like some sort of promotion they could be doing.
- 41:14Speaker 2: So this was why it was hilarious. Actually is because
- 41:17Speaker 2: it was a Shrek collapse. It was Lush x Shrek.
- 41:21Speaker 3: Okay.
- 41:21Speaker 2: So they sent me like a Donkey bath bomb, right,
- 41:24Speaker 2: and I was like smelling animal, oh yeah, And I
- 41:28Speaker 2: was like absolutely, I'm going to use this. And it
- 41:30Speaker 2: did smell in credit okay.
- 41:32Speaker 3: Was it shaped like it was.
- 41:33Speaker 2: Shaped like Donkey's head? Okay? And so I put it
- 41:36Speaker 2: in like the corner of my bathroom and I remember
- 41:41Speaker 2: just waiting a really long time before I used it.
- 41:45Speaker 3: Oh yeah, you wanted a special occasion.
- 41:47Speaker 2: I wanted a special occasion. Little did I know that
- 41:50Speaker 2: you know you shouldn't wait that long.
- 41:52Speaker 3: Do they expire?
- 41:53Speaker 2: Apparently?
- 41:55Speaker 3: What are they made out of? Egg color?
- 41:58Speaker 2: Dairy? Something interesting, something that grows more?
- 42:03Speaker 3: Oh no.
- 42:05Speaker 2: And if you don't check properly and you just think
- 42:07Speaker 2: that those are fun birthmarks on Donkey's head and you
- 42:12Speaker 2: just bathe in it anyway, oh no, you will get
- 42:17Speaker 2: these like red like almost like zits all over your body. God.
- 42:26Speaker 2: I remember because because I I'm like, I don't have
- 42:28Speaker 2: any I don't have too many like blemishes or pimples
- 42:31Speaker 2: on my like body itself. And I remember one time
- 42:33Speaker 2: coming out of the shower and there was just a
- 42:35Speaker 2: big one on my torso and I was like, what's that?
- 42:39Speaker 2: And okay, And my boyfriend's a nurse, so I sent
- 42:42Speaker 2: him a photo and I was like, what's going on
- 42:45Speaker 2: with me? Like is this the end? And he was like, okay,
- 42:49Speaker 2: this has to be some sort of like allergic reaction
- 42:51Speaker 2: or like maybe some like laundry detergent situations. So we
- 42:54Speaker 2: like switched out to the detergent and all that. It
- 42:56Speaker 2: was just getting worse over a couple of days, like
- 43:00Speaker 2: it would show up on my back, on the like
- 43:02Speaker 2: on my shins calves, it would just show up everywhere,
- 43:04Speaker 2: and I was like, I'm gonna die.
- 43:06Speaker 3: I would be so terrified.
- 43:08Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, But then I think, oh, oh, that's how
- 43:12Speaker 2: we figured it out. Actually. Then there was another thing
- 43:15Speaker 2: in there that they had sent me, like a smaller
- 43:17Speaker 2: bath bomb or something, and I had found it in
- 43:19Speaker 2: my drawers and I like it, and I was like, oh, like,
- 43:22Speaker 2: I'm going to use this bath bomb or whatever. And
- 43:24Speaker 2: before I did, he was like, wait, let me look
- 43:26Speaker 2: at that. And he was like, there's mold all over this.
- 43:30Speaker 2: Don't use it. Oh no. And I was like, but
- 43:32Speaker 2: this is what Lush sent me, lush xtrag. Do you
- 43:35Speaker 2: think there's something with a Lush extrag And he was like, yeah,
- 43:39Speaker 2: you know, one hundred percent just bathed in mold.
- 43:41Speaker 3: This is very Shrek though very swampy, right.
- 43:44Speaker 2: I was like, I'm trying to be like Shrack exactly.
- 43:47Speaker 2: I was. I guess I did something wrong, so Lush
- 43:51Speaker 2: I waited too long, Please send me the next collaboration.
- 43:55Speaker 2: I'm so grateful.
- 43:56Speaker 3: I would never guess that those could go bad like that.
- 43:58Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 43:58Speaker 3: I feel like with a lot of soap and lotions,
- 44:00Speaker 3: you just kind of think this will be good forever.
- 44:02Speaker 2: And That is the reason I've brought all of these
- 44:04Speaker 2: to you today, because I cannot, in good conscious just
- 44:08Speaker 2: let these be molding away.
- 44:11Speaker 3: Right. You couldn't let bio dance, collagen peptide eyepatches go bad,
- 44:15Speaker 3: of course not.
- 44:17Speaker 2: I know that there's so many beautiful bodies and souls
- 44:20Speaker 2: that need that stuff.
- 44:21Speaker 3: We love bio dance.
- 44:23Speaker 2: We love a bio dance. You have your biological parents
- 44:26Speaker 2: and you all get together and you do a little
- 44:28Speaker 2: bitters a biodance. No.
- 44:33Speaker 3: I do like a lush. I like going in a
- 44:35Speaker 3: lush and getting my hands washed and then paying for
- 44:37Speaker 3: nothing and leaving. Oh yeah, I did go to like
- 44:40Speaker 3: an off brand Lush in Palm Springs once, and the
- 44:43Speaker 3: woman that washed my hands, I think I may have
- 44:46Speaker 3: been the last person to see her alive. She seemed
- 44:48Speaker 3: like she was headed into the desert to be killed
- 44:50Speaker 3: or something. There was very there was a scary energy happening.
- 44:54Speaker 2: That is that is Palm Springs, Like shop owners is there?
- 44:57Speaker 2: Like this is my one day? You're like, what does that?
- 45:01Speaker 3: No one knows where I am?
- 45:03Speaker 2: Right goodbye? You're like, I'm pretty sure we're in Palm
- 45:05Speaker 2: Spring right, got it?
- 45:07Speaker 3: But I didn't get my hands washed and good for
- 45:09Speaker 3: her and thoughts and prayers for her family because then yeah,
- 45:17Speaker 3: it was like a very I think that she was
- 45:18Speaker 3: on speed or something. I don't know why she did
- 45:20Speaker 3: that before her shift. Yeah, but it was an interesting.
- 45:25Speaker 4: Everybody needs advice, especially these days.
- 45:28Speaker 2: I've been saying it.
- 45:29Speaker 3: Find it something to get you through the work day. Okay,
- 45:33Speaker 3: let's see here. Yeah, I think that's also bid. I
- 45:38Speaker 3: like the Bio Dance. Their branding is very nice. It's
- 45:42Speaker 3: very minimal. It's very medicinal, but fun.
- 45:46Speaker 2: And patches are hot, girl.
- 45:49Speaker 3: They are and unless they're expired, correct, correct, and god
- 45:53Speaker 3: knows what's going.
- 45:54Speaker 2: To walk in. Like with ipatches, you have to be.
- 45:57Speaker 3: And everyone's like, he's got somewhere he's going to be.
- 46:00Speaker 2: That is a hydration gang. It's a good look.
- 46:03Speaker 3: There's a I mean, they're just literally, man, we've got
- 46:08Speaker 3: more acney control. We've got algae.
- 46:11Speaker 2: Body oil Okay, interesting, okay, body oil, Like.
- 46:16Speaker 3: What does body? What is the that's something you put
- 46:18Speaker 3: into the bath or is this something you put after
- 46:21Speaker 3: so you're greasy?
- 46:22Speaker 2: I think you put it on before. But also that
- 46:26Speaker 2: could be a whole blatant lie because you put like
- 46:28Speaker 2: hair oil, like ten fifteen minutes before you watch.
- 46:31Speaker 3: All right, kind of a deep condition.
- 46:33Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, what's that say? Ampm? It just kind of
- 46:36Speaker 2: says put it on dryer, damp skin. That's it. Okay,
- 46:41Speaker 2: So it's a little like.
- 46:43Speaker 3: We don't know what the product is and you don't either.
- 46:45Speaker 3: Just try it.
- 46:46Speaker 2: No, but hey, we're grateful.
- 46:47Speaker 3: We're grateful. We're absolutely grateful. We've got keels.
- 46:50Speaker 2: We all know.
- 46:51Speaker 3: Oh sunscreen, Now, this is something good for me.
- 46:54Speaker 2: Oh oh honey, I got a ton of sunscreen in there.
- 46:57Speaker 3: And this expires in July, so I've got a couple
- 47:00Speaker 3: I could have a fun half of a summer.
- 47:02Speaker 4: See and I definitely was not going to use it
- 47:05Speaker 4: up by July.
- 47:05Speaker 2: So that's great.
- 47:06Speaker 3: This is perfect.
- 47:07Speaker 2: I'll take that to the po that's going to the
- 47:08Speaker 2: right of the laptop. So that's what we're keeping. Okay,
- 47:11Speaker 2: we've got.
- 47:12Speaker 3: More vasseline supple and soft. Everyone wants to be supple
- 47:17Speaker 3: and but I.
- 47:18Speaker 2: Mean, like, look at how big these bottles are. Where
- 47:20Speaker 2: is a girl going to store?
- 47:23Speaker 3: This would last a lifetime.
- 47:25Speaker 2: It's too much.
- 47:26Speaker 3: There's another one in the vasoline is just giving it away.
- 47:29Speaker 3: I'm telling you, we've got more maraud. Oh, this is
- 47:33Speaker 3: an SPF.
- 47:34Speaker 2: Okay, there's about four more of those we're getting. I
- 47:37Speaker 2: have a different Okay, right up, A laptop.
- 47:38Speaker 3: Is important for me. Jurgons, I know you do uh
- 47:43Speaker 3: deep conditioning, Shaya and cocoa butter blend. This is a
- 47:46Speaker 3: don't put special value. That's someone's got to talk to
- 47:50Speaker 3: the Jurgons. People put special value.
- 47:52Speaker 2: On your bottle.
- 47:53Speaker 3: People are not going to buy for a skincare. They
- 47:55Speaker 3: want it to seem expensive, fancy. Yes, it seems like
- 47:59Speaker 3: I'm and I'm not speaking for you. I'm seeking for myself.
- 48:02Speaker 2: Absolute.
- 48:03Speaker 3: This makes it seem like garbage. Okay, so we'll put
- 48:06Speaker 3: that here.
- 48:07Speaker 2: Okay, that's going to the left. Garnier. We all love tease.
- 48:12Speaker 3: This is a curl construct creation Moose.
- 48:14Speaker 2: In case you wanted to switch up everything in your life.
- 48:17Speaker 3: I want to define my curls and don't we all
- 48:20Speaker 3: with no way down? Yeah, extra stronghold. You can go
- 48:24Speaker 3: stronger though. This is the three square. You can go
- 48:27Speaker 3: up to five square.
- 48:28Speaker 2: It's three out of five, right, Yes, you just seemed
- 48:30Speaker 2: like a three out of right. I want a little
- 48:32Speaker 2: bit of a little bit of movement, you know, Yeah, yeah, Oh, okay,
- 48:35Speaker 2: so you wanted a four that's gone to the left. Sure,
- 48:39Speaker 2: we know, Marod.
- 48:40Speaker 3: Yeah, we're gonna name everything in here. We've got boy Smells, Boy.
- 48:44Speaker 2: Smells, Boy Smells Again. I love this one, But I
- 48:48Speaker 2: have another. Oh you do like this one? I do?
- 48:50Speaker 4: I mean I like it?
- 48:51Speaker 3: Is it a perfume? Yes, boy Smells rosy cheeks. That
- 48:56Speaker 3: sounds like a name of a bad superhero or something
- 48:59Speaker 3: or dective.
- 49:00Speaker 2: It's rosy cheeks.
- 49:02Speaker 3: Boy Smells rosy cheeks.
- 49:03Speaker 2: Yeah, that's the full name. It's nice, it does smell.
- 49:07Speaker 3: Okay, and this could I guess this could be used
- 49:10Speaker 3: by anybody because it's boy smells and it's rosy cheek exactly.
- 49:15Speaker 2: So make that well you will.
- 49:17Speaker 3: Now we have something called a Huda Bootta Beauty Boom.
- 49:21Speaker 2: Now this brand, I genuinely, I mean obviously with all
- 49:24Speaker 2: of them, but this brand, this brand is a make up. Yeah. Yeah, yeah,
- 49:27Speaker 2: we're getting into makeup easy beauty, hood of beauty. And
- 49:30Speaker 2: I feel every time I say that out loud, I
- 49:32Speaker 2: feel like it's also necessary to clarify. I don't know
- 49:34Speaker 2: if anybody in here watched the most recent season of
- 49:37Speaker 2: Love Island. It is not that hood uh oh, it
- 49:41Speaker 2: is a different named hoodah. And this is this ties
- 49:45Speaker 2: so well to what we were talking because you would
- 49:46Speaker 2: think that's that's a mononym situation. But they kind of
- 49:50Speaker 2: came up at the same time. Yea, the same.
- 49:52Speaker 3: I bet whoever's in charge of Hood of Beauty is like,
- 49:55Speaker 3: we might need to think of a new name for
- 49:57Speaker 3: the product.
- 49:57Speaker 2: No, and they did cut ties. They did cut ties.
- 50:00Speaker 2: They partnered and then they partner for like, you don't
- 50:03Speaker 2: partner with a Love Island person.
- 50:05Speaker 3: What are you talking about? Everybody?
- 50:08Speaker 2: They warned them and they did it. They did the
- 50:10Speaker 2: whole cutie Like, we are not the same person trend.
- 50:13Speaker 3: You would be better off partnering with someone who just
- 50:16Speaker 3: crawled out of the sewer.
- 50:17Speaker 2: Partner with us, that's the real answer. And genuinely they do.
- 50:22Speaker 2: I love Hood of Beauty. Everything they send me is incredible,
- 50:26Speaker 2: but again, there's just.
- 50:27Speaker 4: A lot, and I want to share.
- 50:28Speaker 3: There's only so much.
- 50:29Speaker 2: There's only so much powder your girl can put.
- 50:31Speaker 3: I've got more of it. Yeah, now we've got two
- 50:35Speaker 3: of something here. This is called a milkshake coconut cream.
- 50:39Speaker 3: I'm speaking to the entire skincare and beauty industry, right Now,
- 50:43Speaker 3: I do not like when food is brought in because
- 50:45Speaker 3: it's I like to eat things, and when things look
- 50:49Speaker 3: or smell or refer to food and they're not, it's
- 50:52Speaker 3: just it's disappointing, it's excusing.
- 50:55Speaker 2: Sure, we'll hear me out, though these are also fragrances.
- 50:57Speaker 2: Though you want to, like, you know, be eaten up.
- 51:02Speaker 3: Like I'm always looking to be eaten up.
- 51:04Speaker 2: I'm always trying to get eaten up. Literally, that's my
- 51:08Speaker 2: entire port. What is the smell like?
- 51:09Speaker 3: It's a moisture mist for body, and it's milk coconut milkshakes,
- 51:13Speaker 3: so it's gonna smell like tanning salon.
- 51:17Speaker 2: Give it a with give it a w Oh that's.
- 51:21Speaker 3: Not Oh that's a honey and orange blossom. That's a
- 51:23Speaker 3: little more sophisticated.
- 51:25Speaker 2: Okay, it's going to the back of the laptop. We're
- 51:27Speaker 2: not touching those ever. Again.
- 51:29Speaker 3: Look what you're easy Okay, we're leaving a lot of
- 51:31Speaker 3: this easy bake.
- 51:32Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, yeah, lots of easy bake. Uh huh.
- 51:34Speaker 3: Then we've got super food, air whip, moisture cream, kale,
- 51:37Speaker 3: and spinach.
- 51:39Speaker 2: Oh youth to the people, and look at it. See
- 51:41Speaker 2: this is another thing we have yet. I mean we
- 51:43Speaker 2: kind of talked about with bio Dance, like the esthetics
- 51:45Speaker 2: of all these products. It's so interesting which ones you
- 51:49Speaker 2: choose to keep and which ones you choose not to.
- 51:53Speaker 3: What they look literally, what they look like half of
- 51:57Speaker 3: the thing hats what is your like skincare routine?
- 52:01Speaker 2: Okay, so shout out bio dance. Actually, okay, they sent
- 52:06Speaker 2: me something.
- 52:07Speaker 3: Got to find my bio I'll find that later.
- 52:09Speaker 2: Yes, the pink and purple right there, all those are.
- 52:11Speaker 3: The ones that I identified. Okay, they're going to keep.
- 52:14Speaker 2: Yes, you should keep Keith Pile they sent because I
- 52:17Speaker 2: used to be a very good skincare girly ampm. I
- 52:21Speaker 2: was on that.
- 52:21Speaker 3: Routine forty steps.
- 52:23Speaker 2: Yeah. But then sometimes you're like, I'm tired, Like I
- 52:28Speaker 2: don't know how people do it surely, Like I mean, listen,
- 52:31Speaker 2: I did it for a couple of years, and I'm like,
- 52:33Speaker 2: how long is that going to ride? Right, I'm kind
- 52:35Speaker 2: of riding it a little bit. So now for me,
- 52:38Speaker 2: it's a little bit of I need ease in my routine.
- 52:41Speaker 2: I need something that's going to be simple, and that's
- 52:43Speaker 2: also just not going to take a bunch of time.
- 52:45Speaker 2: It's just going to be like, oh, I just brushed
- 52:47Speaker 2: my teeth. I'm about to go to bed. What's something
- 52:48Speaker 2: quick I can do? Right right? Biodance sent me these
- 52:51Speaker 2: like jelly miss.
- 52:52Speaker 3: Oh, I like the sound of a jelly.
- 52:54Speaker 4: Miss jelly mists literally just like a spray.
- 52:56Speaker 2: So again, there's no like tappy, there's no mix anything,
- 52:59Speaker 2: and literally all you do they say, it's the first
- 53:01Speaker 2: step of the skin caroutine.
- 53:03Speaker 4: You just spray it all over your face and just
- 53:05Speaker 4: let it set.
- 53:06Speaker 3: Your skin's amazing.
- 53:07Speaker 2: Oh my god, thank you so much, Bio Danced. That's
- 53:11Speaker 2: all I think that you do. All I just do
- 53:13Speaker 2: like one hundred sprays? Can I go to bed?
- 53:16Speaker 3: Wow? Okay, bio Dance, reach out and reach out to.
- 53:20Speaker 2: Your biological parents and get down on the dance floor.
- 53:24Speaker 3: Okay. So then we've got milk Ourx Advanced Better aging cream,
- 53:29Speaker 3: some sort of polypeptide complex from Beakman, right, and they've
- 53:33Speaker 3: been around since eighteen o two.
- 53:34Speaker 2: We all know that. Sure, they've been saying words that
- 53:36Speaker 2: we all understand forever.
- 53:38Speaker 3: We've got a Rosafa silky perfection, pearlfection okay, instant plumping, Okay,
- 53:45Speaker 3: we'll see.
- 53:46Speaker 4: Listen, if these are your goals.
- 53:48Speaker 2: These are the products you grab anybody, anybody I've peaked Ellis,
- 53:53Speaker 2: Ellis's up on their feet, coming to get that exact plus.
- 53:57Speaker 3: The next recording of this podcast, my face will be
- 53:59Speaker 3: fully melted off.
- 54:00Speaker 2: Yeah, you're like, so I tried it.
- 54:02Speaker 3: I will have blinded myself. My teeth will be like shattered.
- 54:06Speaker 3: It's gonna be Okay, we've got more super food skin
- 54:08Speaker 3: drip thistle thing here.
- 54:12Speaker 2: Oh that's it's kind of a pear shaped keychain. Keychain,
- 54:15Speaker 2: yes see, Okay, so hood of beauty they send every time,
- 54:18Speaker 2: they send me a purse, which the last.
- 54:20Speaker 3: Person every time how many times?
- 54:22Speaker 2: Oh no, truly they are. I'm obsessed with them. I'm
- 54:26Speaker 2: obsessed with them. I have them. They send me a
- 54:30Speaker 2: freaking purse, They send me keychains, and they send me
- 54:33Speaker 2: like all their powder in their blush and like lip stuff. Wow,
- 54:37Speaker 2: And I'm like, I love the purses. Definitely gonna have
- 54:40Speaker 2: an abundance of purses. Can't have an abundance of.
- 54:43Speaker 3: Yet you didn't bring me a purse.
- 54:45Speaker 2: And yet what's this?
- 54:47Speaker 3: This looks like a weapon. Okay, Circus solet has gotten
- 54:53Speaker 3: into the perfume business. They really have, and it looks
- 54:57Speaker 3: like a pizza cutter.
- 54:58Speaker 2: And you're gonna have to believe me on this one.
- 54:59Speaker 2: I've got another one at home.
- 55:01Speaker 3: You love it that much?
- 55:03Speaker 2: I love it. I love it, and I simply must
- 55:05Speaker 2: share with you. Oh it's a light sense, it's very nice.
- 55:07Speaker 3: It brings to mind Las Vegas, sure, flying through the air,
- 55:11Speaker 3: the circus.
- 55:12Speaker 2: And how gorgeous is this bottle? I know that bottle
- 55:14Speaker 2: is really something that's got all out iridescent. One might describe.
- 55:18Speaker 3: It as, and again, a pizza cutter and a pizza
- 55:21Speaker 3: that's going in the keep. Yes, now you've got a
- 55:24Speaker 3: coozy from herbal Oasis.
- 55:27Speaker 2: Yes, okay, so this is a brand that makes mushroom
- 55:31Speaker 2: drinks and weed drinks. Oh and I'm far too selfish
- 55:35Speaker 2: to share those.
- 55:35Speaker 3: Yeah, of course that's a valuable item to having.
- 55:37Speaker 2: The frieze exactly. And also I would have there just
- 55:40Speaker 2: weren't anymore right.
- 55:41Speaker 3: You've consumed all the assumed all in it.
- 55:43Speaker 2: I'm stoned right now, But I brought you a cutie cozy,
- 55:47Speaker 2: a cozy, a kouzzie is.
- 55:49Speaker 3: It is a cozy coo? I never know. I'm always
- 55:51Speaker 3: like right before I say kozy, I think is a cozy.
- 55:54Speaker 2: I always get scared saying coozy coozy. You know it
- 56:00Speaker 2: doesn't it just give scary?
- 56:01Speaker 3: Oh yeah, of course, it's like, oh, I don't want
- 56:04Speaker 3: to call it. I've got to see particular company. There's cozy, cuzy.
- 56:10Speaker 2: It is coozy though, cuzy though.
- 56:13Speaker 3: Trying to find a better word, I have to admit.
- 56:15Speaker 5: Okay, I see, I think I'm seeing sprite under your cozy.
- 56:20Speaker 3: I don't know if we can reveal that is that true.
- 56:23Speaker 3: We've just said fifty different product.
- 56:25Speaker 5: But that is what you saw me getting up to
- 56:27Speaker 5: get because it just looks so refreshing, not to endorse,
- 56:30Speaker 5: not to endorse.
- 56:32Speaker 3: Like influencing people very.
- 56:34Speaker 2: Quickly, like if you guys don't get a hundred reach
- 56:37Speaker 2: outs after this of brands being like and we'd love
- 56:39Speaker 2: Bridger to do had read and we'd love an a read.
- 56:42Speaker 3: Obey your thirst?
- 56:43Speaker 2: Yeah, no, like I got you. This is where we
- 56:46Speaker 2: continue to just say we are grateful, We are grateful.
- 56:48Speaker 3: Garnier fruitis obey your thirst. Yeah, we'll just apply that
- 56:52Speaker 3: to everything. Oh say osa, night dream night serum. The
- 56:58Speaker 3: listener has got a whole list right now. It's okay, okay, okay,
- 57:02Speaker 3: I'll trike that this was a bioretinal interesting.
- 57:06Speaker 2: And I hear that stuff is important.
- 57:08Speaker 3: People love retinal people love. But again it's part of
- 57:11Speaker 3: these steps, these whole things people do, like a fifty
- 57:13Speaker 3: step thing, and you have to wait weeks for results.
- 57:17Speaker 2: I don't have the patience for that. No, no, or
- 57:19Speaker 2: the time or the energy. And going to beds like
- 57:23Speaker 2: really sticky and it's fun sometimes. Okay, it's not always
- 57:28Speaker 2: fun when you have a partner too. That's like you know,
- 57:30Speaker 2: in your space, you're kind of like, don't touch the thing.
- 57:33Speaker 3: You know, it's just so it ruins the end of
- 57:37Speaker 3: the day.
- 57:37Speaker 2: It does, It does sometimes. Maybe the heck is that
- 57:40Speaker 2: you're supposed to do it like an hour or two
- 57:42Speaker 2: before bed.
- 57:43Speaker 3: The scheduling. I know who is able to do that
- 57:46Speaker 3: sort of planning in their.
- 57:47Speaker 2: Lives, That's what I'm saying.
- 57:48Speaker 3: I'm busy watching TV.
- 57:50Speaker 2: I'm on vacation. I'm on vacation, on vacation.
- 57:54Speaker 3: Come on, let's see here. Now, this looks like a
- 57:57Speaker 3: baby bottle. This is from Loreal. We love Lorelee. Okay,
- 58:02Speaker 3: your thirst Collagen, moisture, Bounce serum.
- 58:05Speaker 2: You're right. It is a cutey little that looks like.
- 58:08Speaker 3: Be careful, don't take this to a preschool or a nursery.
- 58:12Speaker 2: Certainly not a lush because that smells like it. This
- 58:15Speaker 2: is like a it's like a baby bottle. Yeah, I
- 58:17Speaker 2: could easily. I'm not going to drink from us, and
- 58:22Speaker 2: that's fair. I wouldn't do that.
- 58:24Speaker 3: Okay. Then we've got more keels retinol okay, and again
- 58:26Speaker 3: retinall is important. Any expiration. Maybe I could spray some
- 58:30Speaker 3: of this on my face at some.
- 58:31Speaker 2: Point, giving more of a like a a juice dispense
- 58:35Speaker 2: more than a yeah.
- 58:38Speaker 3: Well, oh yeah, this is like an into hand wipe
- 58:40Speaker 3: on face. That's going in the keep okay, glass lower
- 58:45Speaker 3: lit injection galower.

- 59:03Speaker 2: and then we'll burn together.

- 59:09Speaker 4: Which everyone works with my fit.
- 59:10Speaker 2: You know the one?
- 59:12Speaker 3: Oh I love that vest.
- 59:13Speaker 2: You've got actually palm springs.
- 59:15Speaker 3: Palm springs, that makes sense. It's got a little general
- 59:17Speaker 3: stores like cross stitching or something. Right, very cool, thank you. Okay,
- 59:23Speaker 3: and then I'm going to try the let's see, I guess.

- 1:00:03Speaker 2: Oh okay, and I've got kind of and then.
- 1:00:05Speaker 4: You get to sell these. These have our mouth hues.

- 1:00:36Speaker 2: it's kind of nice. Okay, let me try. Oh, this
- 1:00:38Speaker 2: one's like, oh my gosh, okay, this one is it
- 1:00:41Speaker 2: tastes like middle school? I like I definitely used to
- 1:00:44Speaker 2: have a lip gloss that was literally just like this.
- 1:00:47Speaker 2: Mm hmm. Yeah. Yeah, feel free to do a little rub.

- 1:02:04Speaker 1: Hmm?
- 1:02:05Speaker 2: Anything you guys see a result.
- 1:02:09Speaker 3: I don't think that that's a good idea to have
- 1:02:10Speaker 3: your lips plump instantly. That that is usually goes hand

- 1:04:39Speaker 2: Oh, this is that's for the retinal Oh. I was
- 1:04:42Speaker 2: because I thought construct Once you get it, you close
- 1:04:47Speaker 2: the lid, and that's the game.
- 1:04:49Speaker 3: I think officially you've brought me the most gifts ever
- 1:04:52Speaker 3: on this podcast. I mean, I can't imagine how many items.

- 1:05:16Speaker 4: Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, the one that's happening right now.
- 1:05:19Speaker 3: I feel it in my gums.
- 1:05:20Speaker 2: Yeah, so there's that.

- 1:05:24Speaker 3: many problems.
- 1:05:25Speaker 4: You're welcome.
- 1:05:26Speaker 3: This is really lovely. I'm going to just slowly start
- 1:05:30Speaker 3: applying these.
- 1:05:31Speaker 2: Yes, absolutely, let me know. I'll be back on the
- 1:05:34Speaker 2: pod in about six to eight weeks.
- 1:05:35Speaker 3: Right wait, I thought Bridger hosted This is the Sky.
- 1:05:40Speaker 2: You look completely different. You have these huge curls.
- 1:05:43Speaker 3: I'm worried. Okay, we don't need to put them all away.
- 1:05:47Speaker 3: Let's say we'll just shovel. I like the sound that
- 1:05:50Speaker 3: we're making.
- 1:05:50Speaker 2: This is good, This is good. This is good cherry
- 1:05:53Speaker 2: experience that didn't make any sound. Yeah, people like to
- 1:05:59Speaker 2: hear it open like that one was big.
- 1:06:03Speaker 3: That one was just like a little sound experiment.
- 1:06:06Speaker 2: Okay, okay, you ready for this. I'm gonna do a spray.
- 1:06:09Speaker 2: We're gonna get a little sent up in this bitch.
- 1:06:12Speaker 2: Oh that was that was big. That was big.
- 1:06:15Speaker 4: Okay, boy smells rosy cheeks.
- 1:06:18Speaker 2: We love you. Let's see saving.
- 1:06:20Speaker 3: Makes a good noise when you pull it out.
- 1:06:22Speaker 2: Let's try it again.
- 1:06:26Speaker 3: Oh that was the.
- 1:06:27Speaker 2: Uh I I loved? How was the lip burner? You
- 1:06:30Speaker 2: guys two faces never sending me anything ever again? Literally
- 1:06:36Speaker 2: when I told when I told my boyfriend that I
- 1:06:38Speaker 2: was bringing all of this pr on set, he was
- 1:06:40Speaker 2: like my publicist and literally being like, Okay, we'll just
- 1:06:43Speaker 2: make sure that brainds know that you know you are
- 1:06:45Speaker 2: happy with all the stuff that you're sending.
- 1:06:47Speaker 3: Like, no, she told me before this, I'm giving you
- 1:06:50Speaker 3: a bunch of crap. Don't put on you.
- 1:06:55Speaker 2: Don't want to come off as ungrateful, So just make
- 1:06:57Speaker 2: sure that you are continuing to reiterate that you are
- 1:06:59Speaker 2: a blessed person. And I was like, you got it,
- 1:07:02Speaker 2: you got it. I'm so happy to receive all of
- 1:07:05Speaker 2: these presents. Thank you so much. I am sharing my wealth.
- 1:07:10Speaker 3: Oh I'm thrilled about these good good. Well, I think
- 1:07:13Speaker 3: we should play a game. Yes, we're going to play
- 1:07:15Speaker 3: a game called Gift Your a Curse. I need a
- 1:07:17Speaker 3: number between one and ten from you eight.
- 1:07:20Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:07:20Speaker 3: I have to do some light calculating to get our
- 1:07:22Speaker 3: game pieces. So right now you can promote, recommend, do
- 1:07:25Speaker 3: whatever you want. I'll be right back.
- 1:07:26Speaker 2: Okay. Well, we already talked about Festpool because Bridger brought
- 1:07:31Speaker 2: it up. I literally was like, we don't have to
- 1:07:33Speaker 2: talk about it, but then Bridger just pulled out the flyers.
- 1:07:36Speaker 2: Don't know where he got that, but yes, Festpool is out.
- 1:07:40Speaker 2: You can follow at Festpool Pod on Instagram, TikTok, of
- 1:07:45Speaker 2: course YouTube and wherever you get your podcasts. We also,
- 1:07:48Speaker 2: of course do a video recording of it, so all
- 1:07:50Speaker 2: the videos are up on YouTube, so go check that out.
- 1:07:55Speaker 2: You can also check out I did a comedy show
- 1:07:59Speaker 2: that is now now streaming and is now more of
- 1:08:01Speaker 2: a comedy special that's out and about and it's called
- 1:08:04Speaker 2: How I Met Your Massy. We are about to tour,
- 1:08:07Speaker 2: actually bringing it to New York next month and then
- 1:08:11Speaker 2: hopefully a few other stops along the way later, which
- 1:08:14Speaker 2: is a little bit of a tease and a sneak
- 1:08:16Speaker 2: peak soul.
- 1:08:18Speaker 3: Well, that's great. Everybody find all of this find a
- 1:08:21Speaker 3: Russia online, et cetera. Yes, oh, I'm excited for that show.
- 1:08:25Speaker 2: Thank you. Not a Urusha et cetera. It's actually just
- 1:08:27Speaker 2: a Rasha. It's just a mononym. Actually, would you know
- 1:08:30Speaker 2: I'm teaching you. I I like et cetera. It could
- 1:08:34Speaker 2: be cute, it could be new.
- 1:08:35Speaker 3: Yeah, that's kind of a fune. It's kind of a yeah,
- 1:08:38Speaker 3: I think that would work for you.
- 1:08:40Speaker 2: Rausha et cetera.
- 1:08:41Speaker 3: That's your second chapter.
- 1:08:42Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, let me just call my agent. I'm
- 1:08:44Speaker 2: gonna have I'm gonna head out.
- 1:08:45Speaker 3: Russia et cetera. Yes, Okay, this is how we play
- 1:08:48Speaker 3: Gift or a Curse. I'm going to name three things. You'll
- 1:08:51Speaker 3: tell me if they're a gift or a curse and why,
- 1:08:53Speaker 3: and then I'll tell you if you're right or wrong
- 1:08:54Speaker 3: because there are correct answers. Okay, you can lose, so
- 1:08:57Speaker 3: I need you to be careful.
- 1:08:58Speaker 2: Okay, all three like as a bundle.
- 1:09:01Speaker 3: You have to be No, I'll name one. You'll say
- 1:09:03Speaker 3: if it's a gift or curse and why?
- 1:09:05Speaker 2: On and on? Incredible?
- 1:09:07Speaker 3: All right. This first one is from a listener named Sarah.
- 1:09:09Speaker 3: Gift or a curse when people bring Bluetooth speakers.
- 1:09:12Speaker 2: On a hike. No, no, no, curse, cursed, cursed because
- 1:09:21Speaker 2: you're not alone on this journey. Queen like, I like,
- 1:09:27Speaker 2: if we're bringing the speaker, we better be bringing some
- 1:09:29Speaker 2: headphones we need and the connecting kind that have, like
- 1:09:32Speaker 2: the dongle that hangs off and somehow we're all connected
- 1:09:35Speaker 2: to the same thing. That is a gift. This is
- 1:09:38Speaker 2: a curse. I ask Nobody asked, what row?
- 1:09:41Speaker 3: What gift? I'm going to look. I understand conceptually, this
- 1:09:48Speaker 3: is one of the most annoying things you can possibly do.
- 1:09:51Speaker 3: Whether you're doing it on a hike, on a bus,
- 1:09:54Speaker 3: on the subway, there's a little part of me when
- 1:09:58Speaker 3: somebody's doing this. I'm having a good listening to their tunes.
- 1:10:01Speaker 3: I think it's great. I think bring it along. Blast
- 1:10:04Speaker 3: your tunes at me.
- 1:10:06Speaker 4: You're on the hike and you're bio dancing.
- 1:10:08Speaker 3: I'm bio dancing.
- 1:10:08Speaker 2: Mom and dad, we love this music. This is La Baby.
- 1:10:13Speaker 2: That's wild. That's a wild take.
- 1:10:15Speaker 3: Now, this is something I would never do myself, but
- 1:10:17Speaker 3: when somebody brings along, it's usually a fun song we're
- 1:10:20Speaker 3: hearing and we move on with our day. No, I
- 1:10:23Speaker 3: think it's a gift.
- 1:10:24Speaker 2: No, if a friend pulls up with that, I'm saying,
- 1:10:26Speaker 2: thank you for bringing that. You better leave that in
- 1:10:28Speaker 2: the trunk of your car. I don't even want it
- 1:10:30Speaker 2: in the passenger seat. I want it to be hidden.
- 1:10:34Speaker 3: I think it's a gift. I mean, I know it's
- 1:10:36Speaker 3: a gift. You're wrong. Okay. Number two, this is from
- 1:10:39Speaker 3: a listener named Cameron. Gift or a curse shoes on household?
- 1:10:44Speaker 2: No, actually so much more cursed? Why cursed as hell? Listen,
- 1:10:51Speaker 2: I'm Asian. You are going to take your dirty, gum filled,
- 1:10:58Speaker 2: dirt soiled, hash slinging shoes off off and you know,
- 1:11:07Speaker 2: and you know what to We're not even being selective
- 1:11:09Speaker 2: about it. It's not like, oh, I'm having people over.
- 1:11:11Speaker 2: They can keep their shoes on. They can take their
- 1:11:13Speaker 2: shoes off. There's more to being a cowboy than kicking
- 1:11:16Speaker 2: your boots off.
- 1:11:18Speaker 3: Like, is that a phrase? I don't know that should
- 1:11:22Speaker 3: be on a sign.
- 1:11:23Speaker 4: I think I've probably read it on a sign.
- 1:11:25Speaker 3: There's more to being a cowboy than kicking your boots off.
- 1:11:28Speaker 2: Yeah, the monkey told me that he took my brother.
- 1:11:32Speaker 2: He left the words, he said, here you go, and
- 1:11:35Speaker 2: they were just they stuck with me. So you're saying, curse,
- 1:11:38Speaker 2: huge curse, huge curse.
- 1:11:41Speaker 3: Correct. Correct. I can't fight against the household where everyone's
- 1:11:45Speaker 3: just walking around in their shoes. What is that you
- 1:11:48Speaker 3: live in a public restroom. I don't understand that this
- 1:11:51Speaker 3: has ever been a thing. It's really confusing to me
- 1:11:53Speaker 3: that shoes off households are like a novelty to some people.
- 1:11:57Speaker 2: And so soon as you forget get air or like
- 1:12:00Speaker 2: you leave like a phone on a counter and you
- 1:12:02Speaker 2: like walk a few extra steps, totally.
- 1:12:04Speaker 3: There's room. There's you can have some exceptions on occasion, sure,
- 1:12:08Speaker 3: but the idea of everybody just running around in their
- 1:12:10Speaker 3: shoes like it's a bus station.
- 1:12:12Speaker 2: Yeah, what are you doing? You got shoes on the couch.
- 1:12:16Speaker 3: You're filthy, you're discussed.
- 1:12:17Speaker 2: She was in the bed.
- 1:12:19Speaker 3: Oh, I can't imagine.
- 1:12:21Speaker 2: I'm really sorry.
- 1:12:22Speaker 3: That's somebody who's going through something. That's somebody who's Yeah,
- 1:12:26Speaker 3: they they'll regret their choices they're making in that era
- 1:12:30Speaker 3: of their lives exactly.
- 1:12:32Speaker 2: And you know she was in bed.
- 1:12:33Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, no curse.
- 1:12:35Speaker 3: That's a curse. Okay, you've gone one right so far.
- 1:12:39Speaker 3: This is from a listener named Randy. Gift or a
- 1:12:41Speaker 3: curse when someone says we've been busy as part of
- 1:12:45Speaker 3: their pregnancy announcement.
- 1:12:47Speaker 2: I love it, Listen, there's a reason why, Like those
- 1:12:54Speaker 2: stupid little cliches are cliches. It's like, you know, there's
- 1:13:00Speaker 2: nothing wrong with that one, is what I'm saying. Like,
- 1:13:04Speaker 2: it's it's the same energy as like, you know, like
- 1:13:06Speaker 2: the husbands that are like, you gotta keep the missus happy.
- 1:13:10Speaker 2: It's that is that kind of tone that's like, shut up,
- 1:13:14Speaker 2: don't come near me ever. But this one's Okay, we've
- 1:13:19Speaker 2: been busy. Yeah, you've been busy. You've been busy knocking boots,
- 1:13:22Speaker 2: you've been busy reproducing. I get I get it. You
- 1:13:26Speaker 2: have been busy. You're telling me the truth, and you're
- 1:13:28Speaker 2: doing it in a fun, silly, comedic way. I love you.
- 1:13:31Speaker 2: I love your gift. I love your gift.
- 1:13:35Speaker 3: Correct gift. Great, drag me into your sex life, Drag me,
- 1:13:40Speaker 3: kicking and screaming into how you created your child. I
- 1:13:43Speaker 3: need to imagine this. Yes, uh, give me a hint
- 1:13:46Speaker 3: as to how it all happened. Totally sexy.
- 1:13:50Speaker 2: I've been asking people where are they getting babies? Nobody's
- 1:13:55Speaker 2: telling me. They're just telling me that they've been busy. Yes,
- 1:13:58Speaker 2: I've been busy.
- 1:14:00Speaker 3: We've been busy. Every every pregnancy announcement should say something
- 1:14:03Speaker 3: along these lines. Maybe just even we had sex. Yes,
- 1:14:07Speaker 3: that's a good one for a baby.
- 1:14:08Speaker 2: And tell me exactly how this baby was conceived. Yeah,
- 1:14:11Speaker 2: that's what I want to know. Track it for me.
- 1:14:14Speaker 3: I think it's nice. I think it's nice, and I
- 1:14:17Speaker 3: don't think there's anything wrong with it. Great, it's a gift.
- 1:14:20Speaker 2: It's a gift.
- 1:14:21Speaker 3: Well, you've got two out of three pretty.
- 1:14:24Speaker 2: Good, sixty six per sixty six percent. You're soaring yay,
- 1:14:29Speaker 2: I'll take it.
- 1:14:30Speaker 3: Well, we should answer a listener question, would you help me? So?
- 1:14:34Speaker 2: Why did I choose eight?
- 1:14:36Speaker 3: This is a question that happens occasionally on this podcast.
- 1:14:38Speaker 3: Now I have a list of thousands of suggestions at
- 1:14:41Speaker 3: this point, and we do them randomly. Okay, So I
- 1:14:45Speaker 3: do you know one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight,
- 1:14:47Speaker 3: there's one and it gives It's very gracious of me
- 1:14:50Speaker 3: giving you some time to promote. That's let's be honest. No,
- 1:14:53Speaker 3: that very gracious of me.
- 1:14:56Speaker 2: Hey, I've got this. Are you ready? I am so grateful.
- 1:15:00Speaker 2: I am so yes, I'm just grateful to get the
- 1:15:04Speaker 2: time to plug and promote.
- 1:15:06Speaker 4: I love you guys.
- 1:15:08Speaker 3: There we go. That's the answer, and eight was a
- 1:15:11Speaker 3: nice choice, nice round number.
- 1:15:12Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 1:15:13Speaker 3: All right, people are writing into I said no gifts
- 1:15:15Speaker 3: at gmail dot com. Will you help me answer a question? Yes,
- 1:15:19Speaker 3: all right, this is dear Bridger and malicious guest. That's rude.
- 1:15:23Speaker 3: My partner and I are getting married in three months.
- 1:15:25Speaker 3: Here's here's a link to our wedding website in case
- 1:15:28Speaker 3: you'd like to purchase something off our registry. Oh, okay,
- 1:15:30Speaker 3: we're off to it.
- 1:15:31Speaker 2: Okay, kay tacky, Sure, tacky.
- 1:15:37Speaker 3: We're dealing with the tacky person, so just keep that
- 1:15:39Speaker 3: in mind.
- 1:15:39Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:15:40Speaker 3: We are both very excited about the wedding, and my
- 1:15:42Speaker 3: family has been enthusiastically supportive. My fiance's family, on the
- 1:15:45Speaker 3: other hand, has been totally disengaged and they seem to
- 1:15:48Speaker 3: not be thrilled about the whole thing. My fiance's parents
- 1:15:52Speaker 3: seem unhappy in their own marriage. They once told me
- 1:15:55Speaker 3: in front of my fiance that their children are the
- 1:15:57Speaker 3: only thing holding their marriage together. They never opened our
- 1:16:01Speaker 3: save the date email. Okay, well that's their business, and
- 1:16:04Speaker 3: haven't commented on the invitation we sent them weeks ago.
- 1:16:07Speaker 3: His sister is divorced and has taken every opportunity to
- 1:16:10Speaker 3: bash our excitement about the wedding. She told us not
- 1:16:13Speaker 3: to bother tasting wedding cakes because they're all horrible and
- 1:16:16Speaker 3: we won't get any anyway, and she advised my fiance
- 1:16:19Speaker 3: to hide his and to hide his financial assets from
- 1:16:23Speaker 3: me so he wouldn't have to shell out if we
- 1:16:25Speaker 3: get divorced. I know that these people are likely projecting
- 1:16:28Speaker 3: their own unhappiness onto my relationship, but how do I
- 1:16:31Speaker 3: deal with them? Is there any hope in convincing them
- 1:16:34Speaker 3: that love isn't dead, or at the very least that
- 1:16:36Speaker 3: they should be a bit more supportive? Thank you for
- 1:16:38Speaker 3: your wise advice. Enraged and engaged in North Carolina.
- 1:16:43Speaker 2: Okay, well that was sic of you. Oh I do
- 1:16:46Speaker 2: like that.
- 1:16:47Speaker 3: Well, but that's not going to make up for just
- 1:16:48Speaker 3: how deeply tacky the rest.
- 1:16:50Speaker 2: Of this, right, I mean, listen, we can't maybe send
- 1:16:55Speaker 2: you anything on your registry, but if you want too
- 1:16:58Speaker 2: far to quickly explained, Yeah, if she wants.
- 1:17:00Speaker 4: Stuff that you have to use by July, we've got you.
- 1:17:04Speaker 3: This person first of all, asks to give me, to
- 1:17:07Speaker 3: give them a gift and maybe you. Yeah, they go
- 1:17:10Speaker 3: on to attack their future in laws, the in laws
- 1:17:12Speaker 3: who so nicely said that their children are holding the
- 1:17:15Speaker 3: marriage together. I think that's nice.
- 1:17:16Speaker 2: It's so sweet. I think that's nice thing.
- 1:17:18Speaker 3: You kids are so important that even though we despise
- 1:17:21Speaker 3: each other, you're keeping it together your sacrifice. I think
- 1:17:24Speaker 3: that's very nice. Yeah, the sister is divorced, she's going
- 1:17:28Speaker 3: through something. She apparently didn't like her wedding cake. So
- 1:17:31Speaker 3: she's been through a lot of problems in her life.
- 1:17:33Speaker 4: There is only one flavor that does make sense.
- 1:17:37Speaker 3: It makes perfect sense. And so she's attacked the parents
- 1:17:41Speaker 3: and the sister. There are probably other family members she
- 1:17:43Speaker 3: just didn't have time to attack, and so, and then
- 1:17:47Speaker 3: she's trying to get deal with them. Well, stop being
- 1:17:52Speaker 3: so horrible to.
- 1:17:53Speaker 2: Them, right, Have you ever heard of the let them theory?
- 1:17:56Speaker 3: Yes, let them attack your.
- 1:18:00Speaker 2: Let them harass you.
- 1:18:02Speaker 3: Let them drag you through their own problems.
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: Yes.
- 1:18:04Speaker 2: Yes, it's so clear though that You're right. These people
- 1:18:08Speaker 2: have been just like we recently were on this podcast
- 1:18:12Speaker 2: Burned Burned.
- 1:18:14Speaker 3: We're burned recently.
- 1:18:15Speaker 2: Currently currently we're we're performing through our.
- 1:18:18Speaker 3: Burn but our lips have never looked better.
- 1:18:20Speaker 4: Absolutely, But we're snatched.
- 1:18:21Speaker 2: We look off. Some beauty is pain. They've they've been
- 1:18:25Speaker 2: so burned so bad. They hate their own marriage. The
- 1:18:28Speaker 2: sister got a divorce, so she hates marriage. They hate
- 1:18:32Speaker 2: just the idea of love right now. And this person
- 1:18:34Speaker 2: in the family is seemingly finding success right sending probably
- 1:18:39Speaker 2: cuty little save the dates, or maybe they're tacky, because
- 1:18:42Speaker 2: that's what we think.
- 1:18:43Speaker 3: So I'm sure one of these things said we've been busy.
- 1:18:47Speaker 4: Yes, oh my god, and what a gift.
- 1:18:49Speaker 2: So I would say, I mean, what's the what's the
- 1:18:53Speaker 2: partner's role in all this? The guy sucks, he's a problem, right.
- 1:18:58Speaker 2: I just feel like if my family was the one
- 1:19:00Speaker 2: behaving like that, you kind of have to be like, hey, yeah,
- 1:19:04Speaker 2: cut it out, cut that shit out.
- 1:19:07Speaker 3: But the apple doesn't fall too far from the tree.
- 1:19:09Speaker 3: This is going to be a bad marriage because she's
- 1:19:11Speaker 3: marrying someone from this family. They are bad at being married.
- 1:19:15Speaker 2: Because if your family sucks, you suck that.
- 1:19:18Speaker 3: We know how it works.
- 1:19:19Speaker 2: Yes, that's exactly. That's a blanket statement. It's not there's
- 1:19:22Speaker 2: no nuance right that ever?
- 1:19:24Speaker 3: Right?
- 1:19:25Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 1:19:25Speaker 3: And so these two, I mean I think ultimately, why
- 1:19:29Speaker 3: not just you've got three months to the wedding? Why
- 1:19:32Speaker 3: not end it now? I'm now looking at their registry?
- 1:19:34Speaker 2: Yes, or like three months, like focus on your wedding, then, girl,
- 1:19:38Speaker 2: what are you doing thinking about like your fiance's family?
- 1:19:42Speaker 2: Like who does that?
- 1:19:43Speaker 3: Right?
- 1:19:43Speaker 2: Who thinks about like literally anybody else except for themselves
- 1:19:46Speaker 2: leading up to your wedding?
- 1:19:47Speaker 3: Yeah, they want grapefruit spoons. I think I've actually given
- 1:19:54Speaker 3: grapefruit spoons as a housewarming gift before.
- 1:19:57Speaker 2: Why did those exist? Why does that?
- 1:20:01Speaker 3: It's a beautiful thing to have a little spoon with a.
- 1:20:04Speaker 4: Saw, so it doesn't like get everywhere, and it's.
- 1:20:07Speaker 3: Just kind of the perfect thing that only does one thing.
- 1:20:10Speaker 2: Okay, but you know what, you can.
- 1:20:11Speaker 3: Also defend your home with it.
- 1:20:13Speaker 2: Sharp No, No, who's putting that on a registry? Why
- 1:20:17Speaker 2: is that on a registry?
- 1:20:18Speaker 3: Engaged and enraged? Well, it looks like they've asked for
- 1:20:21Speaker 3: the world here they want. I mean, this list goes
- 1:20:23Speaker 3: on and on and on. Oh my goodness, I will
- 1:20:25Speaker 3: say that looks like they're also asking for some sort
- 1:20:28Speaker 3: of card game. Let's see a soap dish. Well, they're
- 1:20:32Speaker 3: not getting any of this from me beautiful teapot. Though.
- 1:20:36Speaker 2: All the brands that have tapped in and are watching
- 1:20:38Speaker 2: this episode, their ears might be broken up.
- 1:20:41Speaker 3: Look at this, I'm gonna I'm gonna promote something called
- 1:20:44Speaker 3: Emerson Creek Pottery because look how cute that teapot is.
- 1:20:47Speaker 2: Oh, that is cutie, that is cuty. I went to
- 1:20:50Speaker 2: Emerson Oh interesting.
- 1:20:51Speaker 3: This is a spinoff of Emerson College.
- 1:20:53Speaker 2: Yes, Emerson Emerson makes teeple. They used to teach college
- 1:20:58Speaker 2: courses worthless. Yes, stupid, stupid business idea, very bad this
- 1:21:03Speaker 2: they're taking off teapots.
- 1:21:04Speaker 3: Everybody needs a teapot. They have them on their wedding registries. Yes, well,
- 1:21:08Speaker 3: I think we answered the question almost perfectly. I would
- 1:21:10Speaker 3: say more than perfectly. We solved it and we were
- 1:21:13Speaker 3: going through something at the time. Yes, we were suffering.
- 1:21:15Speaker 2: No, we are so selfless.
- 1:21:19Speaker 3: Wow, I think we did a nice job. You might
- 1:21:21Speaker 3: have just saved someone's life.
- 1:21:23Speaker 2: Gosh.
- 1:21:24Speaker 4: I hope they have a wonderful wedding, I really do
- 1:21:27Speaker 4: I have.
- 1:21:28Speaker 3: I hope that it ends soon.
- 1:21:30Speaker 2: Yeah, and that they go on vacation while they're at
- 1:21:35Speaker 2: their wedding.
- 1:21:36Speaker 3: Sure, get out of that situation.
- 1:21:39Speaker 2: It's nasty, just marriage in general.
- 1:21:41Speaker 3: Yeah. Well, I've got hundreds of items. Now I'm very
