- 0:25Speaker 1: Hi, and welcome back to Pinky Boo Hauntings. I'll be
- 0:29Speaker 1: your witchy host Shy, and I'll be your guide to
- 0:31Speaker 1: all things paranormal, weird and spooky. So I'm not gonna lie.
- 0:41Speaker 1: I've only got one story for today's episode, but it's
- 0:45Speaker 1: so long. I just know it's gonna take up all
- 0:49Speaker 1: of our time for today, so I hope you're ready
- 0:52Speaker 1: for this one. Also, it seems like it might be
- 0:56Speaker 1: a cryptic story, at least that's what it's labeled as,
- 1:01Speaker 1: so why don't we get right into it. The story
- 1:05Speaker 1: is called Translucent Beings in the Woods. Between this title
- 1:11Speaker 1: and the cryptic label, it made me curious as to
- 1:14Speaker 1: what was going on in this story. I've never asked
- 1:20Speaker 1: anyone to believe what I'm about to say. I'm not
- 1:24Speaker 1: trying to convince anyone about anything. I'm only documenting what
- 1:30Speaker 1: happened as accurately as I can remember it. I still
- 1:34Speaker 1: don't know exactly what I experienced, and I'm still trying
- 1:39Speaker 1: to understand. Honestly, this sounds like the most real thing
- 1:47Speaker 1: when starting a story, because the paranormal is hard to process.
- 1:53Speaker 1: I think that's why people like us like when we
- 1:56Speaker 1: can talk about it. It helps us process what we
- 1:59Speaker 1: experience erienced, and maybe even help us feel us crazy
- 2:03Speaker 1: when others believe us. January twelfth, twenty twenty three, approximately
- 2:13Speaker 1: three to five pm. At the time, I was living
- 2:18Speaker 1: alone in the mountains in Hoodsport or hoods Sport, I'm
- 2:24Speaker 1: not really sure Washington. I had been clearing the path
- 2:29Speaker 1: through the woods to a place where I planned to
- 2:32Speaker 1: build an outbuilding. A spring fed stream runs through that
- 2:38Speaker 1: part of the property, and I wanted to redirect some
- 2:41Speaker 1: of the water into a low spot to create a
- 2:44Speaker 1: small pool in front of it. While working, I noticed
- 2:49Speaker 1: something unusual. Near the base of a tree i'd previously
- 2:52Speaker 1: cut down. There was a hole in the ground roughly
- 2:57Speaker 1: two feet across. Looking into it, I could see what
- 3:01Speaker 1: appeared to be a horizontal tunnel disappearing beneath the hillside.
- 3:08Speaker 1: I remember thinking it looked like an entrance to a cave,
- 3:12Speaker 1: but I didn't pay much attention to it. I dug
- 3:15Speaker 1: a shallow ditch and redirected the stream towards the depression
- 3:20Speaker 1: about fifteen feet away from that opening. As the water
- 3:26Speaker 1: reached the depression, the ground suddenly gave away. A hole
- 3:31Speaker 1: opened Almost immediately, water poured into it, like a waterfall,
- 3:40Speaker 1: disappearing underground. A rush of stell musty air came out,
- 3:47Speaker 1: followed by insects flying from inside. Whatever was beneath the
- 3:53Speaker 1: ground was much larger than I realized. I stood there
- 3:59Speaker 1: steering in to it. Oh well, now I know why
- 4:06Speaker 1: something came to bother you. You probably flooded their home.
- 4:11Speaker 1: I mean, I know you didn't mean to, but I
- 4:14Speaker 1: bet that's why they're pissed off. I'm talking about these
- 4:19Speaker 1: creatures like I even know what they could be. Something
- 4:24Speaker 1: about it immediately made me uneasy. It wasn't like I
- 4:28Speaker 1: thought an animal was inside. I didn't hear anything, and
- 4:32Speaker 1: I didn't see anything looking back at me. It was
- 4:36Speaker 1: simply a feeling. I couldn't explain strong enough that I
- 4:40Speaker 1: stopped what I was doing and started filling the openings
- 4:44Speaker 1: back in with logs, rocks, and dirt. I didn't want
- 4:48Speaker 1: the water disappearing into it anymore. See what did I say?
- 4:56Speaker 1: You disturbed its home, and now it's pissed at you.
- 5:00Speaker 1: Still I don't know what it could be yet. Honestly
- 5:05Speaker 1: I might not even after reading this. Who knows. I
- 5:09Speaker 1: know the popular cryptics everything else is kind of outside
- 5:13Speaker 1: of my range. By the time I finished, it was
- 5:19Speaker 1: getting late, so I decided to walk upstream to a
- 5:22Speaker 1: place I called my sanctuary. It was one of my
- 5:26Speaker 1: favorite places on the property. There were small waterfalls, and
- 5:31Speaker 1: I've been building a natural pool there. Whenever I needed
- 5:36Speaker 1: to clear my head, That's where I'd go. As I
- 5:40Speaker 1: stood up from rensing my hands, I caught movement out
- 5:44Speaker 1: of the corner of my eye. Something black darted between
- 5:48Speaker 1: the trees appeal from me. At first, I dismissed it.
- 5:53Speaker 1: I figured it could have been almost anything, a trick
- 5:57Speaker 1: of my peripheral vision, an animal moving through the bush.
- 6:02Speaker 1: Then I looked forward. I wasn't looking at one thing anymore.
- 6:07Speaker 1: Scattered through the trees around me were what I can
- 6:11Speaker 1: only describe as translucent humanoid figures. They weren't solid, they
- 6:18Speaker 1: weren't invisible either. The closest comparison I can make is
- 6:23Speaker 1: a cloaking effect from the Predator movies, where something bends
- 6:27Speaker 1: the light around itself. They had the same shimmering, distorted appearance,
- 6:33Speaker 1: except this was a movie. I was standing in the
- 6:37Speaker 1: middle of the forest looking at them. Well, I definitely
- 6:43Speaker 1: don't know what these could be. I do know It
- 6:46Speaker 1: would have scared the crap out of me if I
- 6:48Speaker 1: saw them, because not only are you being surrounded right now,
- 6:53Speaker 1: you're being surrounded by something that shouldn't exist in our reality.
- 7:00Speaker 1: This wasn't the first time I've seen something like this.
- 7:03Speaker 1: The previous winner, while watching a cabin further down the mountain,
- 7:07Speaker 1: i'd seen a similar translucent figure, along with a pulsating
- 7:11Speaker 1: green orb that I encountered at least four different times.
- 7:18Speaker 1: Those encounters had felt calm. That's another story. Whatever I
- 7:24Speaker 1: had experienced then hadn't made me feel threatened. This was different,
- 7:31Speaker 1: probably because you flooded their home or at least something
- 7:34Speaker 1: important to them. I couldn't explain why nothing had approached me,
- 7:41Speaker 1: nothing had attacked me, but every instinct in me was
- 7:46Speaker 1: telling me something wasn't right. About that time, my dog
- 7:51Speaker 1: suddenly became alert, her ears stood up, her tail was rigid.
- 8:00Speaker 1: Then she took off into the woods, chasing something in
- 8:03Speaker 1: the same direction we'd just come from. Oh no, the
- 8:08Speaker 1: baby's senses them too, doesn't she. My first thought wasn't
- 8:14Speaker 1: that she was chasing whatever I was seeing. It was mine.
- 8:20Speaker 1: I assumed she picked up on a scent of a cougar.
- 8:23Speaker 1: Or a bear living out there. That was the logical explanation.
- 8:30Speaker 1: I mean, that would be the more logical explanation. But
- 8:34Speaker 1: you're seeing translucent beings right now. I don't think we
- 8:37Speaker 1: need to worry about logic. I drew my nineteen eleven
- 8:43Speaker 1: and watched where she disappeared. She ran straight back towards
- 8:49Speaker 1: the area where I'd uncovered the cave, and I wanted
- 8:53Speaker 1: to see if anything would come back out. Nothing did,
- 8:58Speaker 1: because they're already out in the woods right in front
- 9:01Speaker 1: of you. Duh. That dog was probably just running for
- 9:04Speaker 1: a life, as you probably should have. She eventually returned,
- 9:10Speaker 1: but the feeling I'd had hadn't gone anywhere. The entire
- 9:16Speaker 1: area felt different. It's difficult to explain because there wasn't
- 9:20Speaker 1: anything I could point to and say that's why. There
- 9:27Speaker 1: was no sound, no smell, no obvious danger. It was
- 9:32Speaker 1: just an overwhelming sense that I didn't belong there anymore.
- 9:37Speaker 1: For the first time since I moved into this property,
- 9:40Speaker 1: my sanctuary didn't feel like a sanctuary. I decided it
- 9:44Speaker 1: was time to go home. I get the feeling that
- 9:51Speaker 1: those beings were making you feel that way to get
- 9:54Speaker 1: you away from that cave. I keep joking about it
- 9:58Speaker 1: being in their home, but it very well could be. So.
- 10:03Speaker 1: It would be like if you found a bear cave
- 10:06Speaker 1: or even someone's home, human or animal, they'd want you
- 10:11Speaker 1: to get away from their home. It seems like that's
- 10:15Speaker 1: all they're doing. If you catch yourself wondering why I
- 10:20Speaker 1: wasn't completely freaked out about these figures, it's because experience
- 10:24Speaker 1: like this haven't been entirely unfamiliar throughout my life. I
- 10:30Speaker 1: hadn't seen anything quite like this except for the previous winner,
- 10:36Speaker 1: but the paranormal wasn't new to me. I have multiple
- 10:40Speaker 1: stories from the mountains alone. I don't know whether any
- 10:44Speaker 1: of them are connected, but explaining all of them here
- 10:48Speaker 1: would turn into a novel. Shortly after I saw the
- 10:54Speaker 1: translucent figures, I had also seen what appeared to be
- 10:58Speaker 1: a large woman's head. It was translucent as well, but
- 11:04Speaker 1: that's probably another story. Well, now I need to see
- 11:11Speaker 1: if I can find that story, because I want to
- 11:14Speaker 1: hear that one. I left my sanctuary, and while back
- 11:21Speaker 1: towards the RV. The further I got from the creek,
- 11:25Speaker 1: the more I tried to convince myself there had to
- 11:28Speaker 1: be a reasonable explanation for what I've just seen. I
- 11:32Speaker 1: wanted it to be my eyes playing tricks on me.
- 11:35Speaker 1: I wanted it to be anything that fit within the
- 11:38Speaker 1: ways I understood the world. By the time I got home,
- 11:43Speaker 1: I still didn't have an answer, but I also wasn't
- 11:47Speaker 1: ready to jump to conclusions. I could see you trying
- 11:51Speaker 1: to convince yourself it was just your eyes playing tricks
- 11:54Speaker 1: on you, dude. Come on, you've seen these things moreultiple
- 12:00Speaker 1: times randomly at that. I don't think it's your eyes,
- 12:04Speaker 1: but that's just me. I went inside and settled in
- 12:09Speaker 1: for the evening, like I normally would. I try to
- 12:12Speaker 1: put everything out of my mind and move on with
- 12:15Speaker 1: my night. But I couldn't shake the feeling they had
- 12:19Speaker 1: followed me back from the sanctuary. It wasn't panic, it
- 12:24Speaker 1: wasn't even fear exactly. It was simply the feeling that
- 12:28Speaker 1: something wasn't right, the kind of feeling you can't explain
- 12:33Speaker 1: because nothing around you appears to be out of place,
- 12:37Speaker 1: Yet every instinct tells you to pay attention, and you
- 12:41Speaker 1: should listen to that voice, cause even if you don't
- 12:45Speaker 1: know for sure why it's screaming at you, it's probably
- 12:49Speaker 1: still trying to protect you from something, or you just
- 12:53Speaker 1: have anxiety disorder, who knows. Later that evening, I opened
- 12:59Speaker 1: the window behind my couch and set they're smoking. It
- 13:03Speaker 1: was the only window that wasn't covered. The rest of
- 13:06Speaker 1: the RV had already been sealed up for winter, so
- 13:10Speaker 1: it was my only view outside. I would never open
- 13:15Speaker 1: a window in the woods in the dark. I mean
- 13:18Speaker 1: I wouldn't be in the middle of the woods to
- 13:20Speaker 1: begin with. But still, the first thing I heard was
- 13:25Speaker 1: a loud crack from the trees just to the right
- 13:28Speaker 1: of that window. It wasn't a small branch, it sounded
- 13:32Speaker 1: substantial enough that it immediately caught my attention. I stopped
- 13:39Speaker 1: and listened, expecting to hear an animal moving afterwards, but
- 13:45Speaker 1: everything became quiet again. Please God, close your window and
- 13:52Speaker 1: cover that bitch up. You are stressing me out right now.
- 14:00Speaker 1: A few minutes later I heard another branch break, then another.
- 14:07Speaker 1: As the night went on, it kept happening. The sounds
- 14:11Speaker 1: came every few minutes, sometimes four to six times, with
- 14:15Speaker 1: the end ten minutes, and continued for hours. What stood
- 14:21Speaker 1: out to me wasn't that the branches were breaking, It
- 14:25Speaker 1: was that they were breaking within roughly a fifty foot
- 14:28Speaker 1: radius around my RV. As the sound continued, they seemed
- 14:35Speaker 1: to get closer to the RV well. I remember thinking
- 14:39Speaker 1: that if whatever was making them was actually moving through
- 14:43Speaker 1: the trees, maybe a gunshot would scare it away. I
- 14:49Speaker 1: fired a single round into the hillside to the left
- 14:53Speaker 1: of the RV, where the branches breaking seemed to be happening.
- 14:57Speaker 1: At that moment. I listened, expecting the sound to move
- 15:01Speaker 1: away or stop altogether. They didn't. Okay, first off, I
- 15:12Speaker 1: don't know how dark it was at this point, but
- 15:16Speaker 1: can we just not shoot a gun into the woods.
- 15:20Speaker 1: What if it was a person that could have killed someone?
- 15:24Speaker 1: And second off, I'm not surprised. I get in the moment,
- 15:28Speaker 1: you probably were just trying to rationalize all of this.
- 15:32Speaker 1: But of course a gunshot wasn't going to scare these
- 15:35Speaker 1: things off. If anything changed, I couldn't tell. Living alone
- 15:44Speaker 1: in the mountains, I was used to hearing trees, animals,
- 15:48Speaker 1: and all kinds of strange noises. I kept trying to
- 15:53Speaker 1: explain it away. Maybe branches were collapsing under their own weight,
- 15:59Speaker 1: Maybe deer were moving through the timber. Maybe I was
- 16:05Speaker 1: connecting unrelated events because of what happened earlier that day.
- 16:12Speaker 1: Or maybe it all is connected, which is definitely what's
- 16:17Speaker 1: going on. But again, I get it in that moment,
- 16:24Speaker 1: the fear is gonna make you try so hard to
- 16:26Speaker 1: rationalize everything. It's almost like the brain is trying to
- 16:31Speaker 1: protect you. Then I started hearing tapping on the outside
- 16:38Speaker 1: of the RV. It sounded like something metallic striking the exterior.
- 16:44Speaker 1: The tapping continued on and off throughout the night, while
- 16:48Speaker 1: branches kept breaking in the woods around me. I sat
- 16:54Speaker 1: there listening, trying to come up with a reasonable explanation
- 16:58Speaker 1: for either one, but nothing I thought of fit what
- 17:02Speaker 1: I was hearing. I didn't have power at the time.
- 17:07Speaker 1: Inside the RV, it was completely dark, none of my
- 17:11Speaker 1: flashlights were working, and the only view I had outside
- 17:15Speaker 1: was through the open window behind my couch. And I
- 17:20Speaker 1: still wish you would close that thing. I decided to
- 17:26Speaker 1: try recording it. I grabbed my phone, but instead of recording,
- 17:30Speaker 1: it started glitching. It wouldn't function correctly. Then it shut
- 17:37Speaker 1: itself off. I remember being angry because the one thing
- 17:42Speaker 1: I wanted was a recording of what was happening outside,
- 17:45Speaker 1: and suddenly my phone wasn't cooperating. At the time, I
- 17:52Speaker 1: didn't think that ment anything. Of course you didn't. I
- 17:58Speaker 1: didn't assume it was connected to what was happening outside.
- 18:02Speaker 1: Looking back, I can't say whether it was a coincidence
- 18:05Speaker 1: or not. I only know what happened, but think it
- 18:12Speaker 1: wasn't a coincidence. It seemed like those beings are messing
- 18:15Speaker 1: with you, maybe even trying to scare you off. I
- 18:22Speaker 1: kept looking through that one open window, expecting to finally
- 18:26Speaker 1: see a deer, a bear, or anything that explained what
- 18:29Speaker 1: I was hearing. I never saw anything. The branch breaking continued,
- 18:35Speaker 1: the tapping continued, and by morning I was no closer
- 18:39Speaker 1: to understanding either one than I had been when they started.
- 18:46Speaker 1: By the following morning, I was exhausted, I hadn't slept,
- 18:51Speaker 1: and I was relieved to see daylight. Everything looked normal again.
- 18:57Speaker 1: The trees stood where they'd always stood, the creek was
- 19:00Speaker 1: still running. Nothing appeared disturbed in the light of day.
- 19:05Speaker 1: The previous night almost felt ridiculous. It's amazing how quickly
- 19:10Speaker 1: your mind can begin explaining away something that seemed impossible
- 19:14Speaker 1: only a few hours earlier. I walked the property to
- 19:19Speaker 1: see if I could find what had been making those
- 19:21Speaker 1: noises throughout the night. I had heard branches breaking every
- 19:26Speaker 1: few minutes. The first crack had come from the trees
- 19:29Speaker 1: just to the right of the window where I was smoking.
- 19:34Speaker 1: I found broken branches about two inches thick that were
- 19:38Speaker 1: still partially attached to the tree and still covered with
- 19:42Speaker 1: green needles. They weren't dead branches or little twigs. When
- 19:49Speaker 1: I reached the place where I heard the first break,
- 19:52Speaker 1: I turned and looked back towards the RV. From there,
- 19:56Speaker 1: I could see the exact window where I'd been smoking.
- 20:00Speaker 1: As I stood there, I noticed something else. The tree
- 20:03Speaker 1: beside the one with the broken branches had what looked
- 20:07Speaker 1: like a face of an angry man formed into it.
- 20:12Speaker 1: It appeared to have a scar on its left eye.
- 20:15Speaker 1: What caught my attention was that it was facing directly
- 20:19Speaker 1: towards the same window with a clear line of sight.
- 20:27Speaker 1: Oh oh, I might have an idea what this could be,
- 20:31Speaker 1: but I kind of want to wait because something could
- 20:35Speaker 1: change my mind later on in this story. If not,
- 20:38Speaker 1: then I'll tell you my theory of what I think
- 20:41Speaker 1: they are. Even if my mind is changed, I might
- 20:44Speaker 1: still tell you what I was thinking. I took several
- 20:48Speaker 1: pictures of it. When I went back inside, I created
- 20:52Speaker 1: an image of the man's face on my laptop and
- 20:55Speaker 1: placed it over the photograph of the tree. When I
- 20:59Speaker 1: lined up the two images, the figure matched. The face
- 21:03Speaker 1: I created was perfectly symmetrical, and it still lined up
- 21:08Speaker 1: with the one I was seeing in the tree that
- 21:11Speaker 1: didn't resemble ordinary paradolia. Paradolia usually depends on vague shapes
- 21:17Speaker 1: and suggestion. This seemed much more exact. Outside of the window,
- 21:24Speaker 1: I had several barrels stacked together. They blocked most of
- 21:29Speaker 1: the lower view from inside of the r V, but
- 21:34Speaker 1: there was a gap near the top, about a foot high,
- 21:39Speaker 1: where I could still see into the woods. Standing next
- 21:43Speaker 1: to those broken branches, I realized they lined up almost
- 21:47Speaker 1: perfectly with the opening. I went back inside and looked
- 21:51Speaker 1: through the gap above the barrels. The broken branches were
- 21:58Speaker 1: sitting almost exactly in the line of sight. I don't
- 22:03Speaker 1: know whether any of that ment anything. It could have
- 22:06Speaker 1: been a coincidence. I only know it stood out enough
- 22:11Speaker 1: that I still remember it. Over the days that followed,
- 22:17Speaker 1: I couldn't shake the feeling that something had changed. I
- 22:21Speaker 1: wasn't looking for monsters, and I wasn't trying to convince
- 22:24Speaker 1: myself that something extraordinary had happened. I simply no longer
- 22:30Speaker 1: experienced that mountain the way I always had before. Every
- 22:34Speaker 1: unfamiliar sound caught my attention, every movement in the woods
- 22:38Speaker 1: made me stop and look. Most of the time there
- 22:42Speaker 1: was nothing there, but the feeling that something was different
- 22:46Speaker 1: never completely went away. I still think you angered those beings,
- 22:52Speaker 1: and they're probably keeping an eye on you. I stopped
- 22:58Speaker 1: going outside. It wasn't because of the weather. It's because
- 23:02Speaker 1: I genuinely believed there was something outside that I didn't understand.
- 23:09Speaker 1: I didn't know what i'd seen. I didn't know whether
- 23:12Speaker 1: it posed any danger. I didn't know whether bullets would
- 23:16Speaker 1: matter if I encountered it again. Yeah, bullets wouldn't do
- 23:21Speaker 1: anything against these things, maybe piss them off. But I
- 23:28Speaker 1: wasn't willing to walk back into those woods until I
- 23:31Speaker 1: understood more about what I experienced. I spent nearly three
- 23:36Speaker 1: weeks inside the RV trying to find anyone describing what
- 23:41Speaker 1: I witnessed. I searched every combination of words I could
- 23:45Speaker 1: think of, until I eventually found videos of people describing
- 23:50Speaker 1: translucent figures in the woods that looked remarkably similar to
- 23:54Speaker 1: what I'd seen. Many of them compare the appearance to
- 23:58Speaker 1: the cloaking effect from the preastor movies. Others referred to
- 24:02Speaker 1: them as the glimmer Man. That search eventually led me
- 24:08Speaker 1: to discussions surrounding Missing four one one. I noticed people
- 24:13Speaker 1: repeatedly talking about National forests, cave systems, and unexplaining disappearances.
- 24:21Speaker 1: That caught my attention because I lived alone on a
- 24:25Speaker 1: heavily wooded mountain within the Olympic National Forests, and I
- 24:30Speaker 1: had just undercovered what appeared to be some kind of
- 24:33Speaker 1: underground cave or tunnel system beneath my property. Whether any
- 24:39Speaker 1: of those claims were true, I had no way of knowing.
- 24:44Speaker 1: I only knew that parts of what people were describing
- 24:47Speaker 1: sounded disturbingly familiar. While all of this was happening, I
- 24:53Speaker 1: left comments beneath several of those YouTube videos describing what
- 24:57Speaker 1: I was experiencing in real time. Those comments are still
- 25:02Speaker 1: there to day from January twenty twenty three. They don't
- 25:06Speaker 1: prove what happened, but they do show that I was
- 25:10Speaker 1: documenting my experience while it was happening. Because I wasn't
- 25:15Speaker 1: leaving the r V, I eventually had to improvise just
- 25:19Speaker 1: to get water. I tied a shoe string to a cup,
- 25:23Speaker 1: lowered it out the window, scooped snow from outside, and
- 25:28Speaker 1: pulled it back in so my animals and I would
- 25:30Speaker 1: half drinking water without stepping outside. When I finally did
- 25:37Speaker 1: step outside again, I saw something that has stayed with
- 25:42Speaker 1: me ever since. There was a circle scratched all around
- 25:47Speaker 1: the RV. It continued underneath my truck instead of going
- 25:52Speaker 1: around it. There were no tracks anywhere. From that point on,
- 25:59Speaker 1: I started documenting as much as I could. I didn't
- 26:04Speaker 1: trust memory alone to preserve the details. Every strange event,
- 26:09Speaker 1: every photograph, and every observation became part of the same
- 26:14Speaker 1: question I've been trying to answer since the day the
- 26:17Speaker 1: cave collapsed. The following weeks weren't as active, but strange
- 26:25Speaker 1: things continued to happen. Even after everything hit quiet down,
- 26:31Speaker 1: I couldn't shake the feeling that I was being watched.
- 26:36Speaker 1: It became strong enough that I eventually found myself talking
- 26:40Speaker 1: out loud into the forest. I wasn't yelling or demanding anything.
- 26:46Speaker 1: I was just making peace with whatever might have been there,
- 26:51Speaker 1: if anything was out there at all. One day, I
- 26:57Speaker 1: walked back to the sanctuary near the water. I noticed
- 27:01Speaker 1: a branch shaped like a small tree standing upright in
- 27:04Speaker 1: the ground. It had been pushed into the soil deeply
- 27:10Speaker 1: enough that it remained standing on its own, almost as
- 27:14Speaker 1: though it had been intentionally planted. That immediately caught my attention,
- 27:21Speaker 1: because I had recently started planting a garden around the property.
- 27:27Speaker 1: My first impression, whether justified or not, was that it
- 27:31Speaker 1: felt almost childlike, as though something had seen what I
- 27:35Speaker 1: was doing and was imitating it. I realized how that sounds,
- 27:41Speaker 1: and I don't present it as fact. I'm only describing
- 27:44Speaker 1: the impression I had at the time. Before accepting that idea,
- 27:51Speaker 1: I tried to find a more ordinary explanation. I looked
- 27:54Speaker 1: above the area to see whether a branch could have
- 27:57Speaker 1: simply fallen and landed upright. I couldn't find a realistic
- 28:02Speaker 1: way that it could have happened. There weren't any branches
- 28:07Speaker 1: directly overhead, and the location didn't make sense for one
- 28:11Speaker 1: to fall there naturally. I knelt down and pulled the
- 28:15Speaker 1: branch out of the ground to see how firmly it
- 28:18Speaker 1: was embedded. It took considerably more force than I expected.
- 28:24Speaker 1: The soil was rocky and muddy beside the creek. It
- 28:31Speaker 1: wasn't the kind of ground where I would expect a
- 28:33Speaker 1: branch to bury itself simply by falling. After examining it,
- 28:41Speaker 1: I placed it back exactly where I found it. I
- 28:44Speaker 1: left everything I discovered in place. I started noticing other
- 28:49Speaker 1: branches or pieces of branches appearing in my garden beds individually.
- 28:57Speaker 1: None of them prove anything in a garden isn't extraordinary
- 29:02Speaker 1: by itself. What stood out to me was where they appeared.
- 29:08Speaker 1: They didn't seem to belong where I found them, and
- 29:10Speaker 1: I couldn't come up with a satisfying explanation for how
- 29:14Speaker 1: they had gotten there. I'm not saying some unknown creature
- 29:18Speaker 1: placed those branches there. I'm also not saying I can
- 29:22Speaker 1: explain them. All I can honestly say is that at
- 29:27Speaker 1: the time, my intuition kept telling me they have been
- 29:31Speaker 1: intentionally placed. I repeatedly tried to come up with ordinary explanations. First,
- 29:39Speaker 1: I wanted those explanations. I simply couldn't find one that
- 29:43Speaker 1: satisfied me. All right, So my mind was definitely not changed.
- 29:50Speaker 1: As for what I think it is, it sounds like
- 29:54Speaker 1: you might have come in contact with some forest spirits.
- 29:58Speaker 1: You probably saw them before this encounter, because they were
- 30:01Speaker 1: maybe just checking you out. It seems like you were
- 30:05Speaker 1: pretty respectful of the land before, which is why they
- 30:09Speaker 1: weren't bothering you before. But because you accidentally flooded the
- 30:14Speaker 1: underground cave, it's very possible they took it as disrespectful
- 30:18Speaker 1: on your part. I know you didn't mean to, but
- 30:23Speaker 1: maybe that's how they took it. Hell, maybe them tormenting
- 30:27Speaker 1: you that night was a warning. Same with the face
- 30:31Speaker 1: in the tree and the circle around your RV. They
- 30:34Speaker 1: wanted to make it clear they were there and they
- 30:37Speaker 1: were pissed. I wouldn't be surprised if you starting a
- 30:42Speaker 1: garden might have helped appease them. Maybe even talking to
- 30:46Speaker 1: them help calm them down too. The stick in the
- 30:49Speaker 1: ground could have been their way of saying they appreciate
- 30:52Speaker 1: the garden, or maybe just a peace offering. Even them
- 30:57Speaker 1: putting the sticks in your garden could be seen as
- 30:59Speaker 1: a good I just hope you keep being nice to
- 31:02Speaker 1: the spirits within the forest and show the woods respect well. Guys.
- 31:10Speaker 1: As I said before, we only have one story for today,
