Latest / The Mark Simone Show / Hour 2: Huge numbers at the Box Office.
Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: It's more of Mark the Mark Simone Show on wor
- 0:06Speaker 1: a beautiful sunny day to day. It's going to be
- 0:10Speaker 1: great in the seventies, so enjoy it. Over the weekend.
- 0:16Speaker 1: You know, the big number one box office movie was
- 0:18Speaker 1: the Michael Jackson biopic, but it got beaten badly this
- 0:22Speaker 1: weekend by Devilwaar's Prada two. Michael Jackson movie over the
- 0:28Speaker 1: weekend did fifty four million dollars. Devilwaar's Proda two seventy
- 0:34Speaker 1: eight million dollars. Seventy eight million dollars. It's pretty impressive. Now,
- 0:40Speaker 1: as I've explained, I don't know how, somehow I never
- 0:44Speaker 1: saw the Devilwaars Prada, the original movie. I never saw it.
- 0:48Speaker 1: So before this thing, the new one, better go look
- 0:51Speaker 1: at the old one, and I watched it. I was shocked,
- 0:56Speaker 1: you know. I heard it was a movie about the
- 0:59Speaker 1: most awful person you could ever work for, the most brutal,
- 1:02Speaker 1: awful boss you could ever have, the most cruel, brutal executive.
- 1:07Speaker 1: So I'm watching the movie and I can tell you,
- 1:10Speaker 1: after years and years and years and years in the
- 1:13Speaker 1: media business, she was nothing. I've worked for people much
- 1:17Speaker 1: worse than that. Not everybody in the media business. But
- 1:21Speaker 1: let's say, I don't know, what would you say, fifteen percent,
- 1:24Speaker 1: twenty worse than that, ten times worse than that. And
- 1:29Speaker 1: when you're you ever go to a TV network or
- 1:31Speaker 1: a big you know, if it's the biggest stars, and
- 1:35Speaker 1: a lot of them are worse than that to work for,
- 1:40Speaker 1: I mean, much worse than that. She was a pleasure
- 1:42Speaker 1: compared to some of the people I've seen so but
- 1:45Speaker 1: I guess if you're in a normal corporate office and
- 1:48Speaker 1: normal business, normal you never see anything like that. But
- 1:51Speaker 1: when you get into the media world, you see it
- 1:53Speaker 1: all the time. But it was a big, big, big,
- 1:56Speaker 1: big success. The original movie and the new one brings
- 1:59Speaker 1: back most of the cast except what's his name? What's
- 2:02Speaker 1: his name? From Entourage? Adrian Greneer, for some reason, he's
- 2:06Speaker 1: not back. He was great, but he's doing very well.
- 2:10Speaker 1: Deblaware's product, too, is going to have a probably a
- 2:15Speaker 1: weeks and weeks and weeks of beating everybody at the
- 2:17Speaker 1: box office, probably make a billion dollars before it's all over. Hey,
- 2:21Speaker 1: Gavin Newsom, you know, he wrote a book. He quite
- 2:25Speaker 1: his biography. It's an autobiography, and it just made the
- 2:30Speaker 1: bestseller list. Now is that impressive. Well, we just found
- 2:34Speaker 1: out his pack, his organization bought sixty nine percent of
- 2:39Speaker 1: the books. It's legal, you're allowed to do that. The
- 2:44Speaker 1: bestseller list just reports sales. They don't say who bought them.
- 2:47Speaker 1: So it was not the public that bought the book.
- 2:50Speaker 1: It was Gavin Newsom himself bought sixty nine percent of
- 2:53Speaker 1: the books. That took millions and millions from his pack
- 2:57Speaker 1: and purchased hundreds of thousands of copies of the book.
- 3:00Speaker 1: So we would get on the bestseller list. Now what
- 3:02Speaker 1: do they do with them, Well, they'll give them his
- 3:04Speaker 1: gifts to donors. They'll pass them out at fundraising events.
- 3:09Speaker 1: It's not illegal. You can do it. People have done
- 3:12Speaker 1: that sometimes. Now you're going to say, well, Donald Trump,
- 3:14Speaker 1: Now I see Donald Trump did it very strategically. If
- 3:20Speaker 1: you want to get on the bestseller list. They you know,
- 3:23Speaker 1: they don't like even the New York Times bestsellers. They
- 3:25Speaker 1: don't go call every store in America. They don't call
- 3:28Speaker 1: every bookstore on Earth. They have what they call reporting stores.
- 3:32Speaker 1: It's a handful of stores. They use those as the sample.
- 3:36Speaker 1: So one of them is that beautiful bookstore in Ridge
- 3:40Speaker 1: is a Ridgefield Connectic. No, it's a New Jersey Ridgewood,
- 3:43Speaker 1: New Jersey book Review in Huntington. For years that was
- 3:47Speaker 1: the reporting store. And that's why at those stores like
- 3:51Speaker 1: this bookstore in Huntington, it's no longer their book review.
- 3:56Speaker 1: You look in the window, they had these posters for
- 3:58Speaker 1: who was going to be speaking? There be the biggest
- 4:00Speaker 1: names in the world, and you couldn't Why would they
- 4:03Speaker 1: all be coming to Huntington Because that was the reporting
- 4:05Speaker 1: store for New York Times. So if you could sell
- 4:08Speaker 1: five hundred books there, you'd zoom up the charge. It
- 4:11Speaker 1: finally closed book Review in Huntington, but some of the
- 4:14Speaker 1: guys that worked there reopened across the streets called the
- 4:17Speaker 1: Next Chapter very good bookstore. Chuck Schumer set a record
- 4:22Speaker 1: over the weekend. People could not believe it. You know,
- 4:26Speaker 1: he does these fake Sunday press conferences because during the
- 4:29Speaker 1: week no matter what he does, nobody wants to put
- 4:32Speaker 1: this guy on TV. He's an awkward, klutz, boring, obnoxious
- 4:36Speaker 1: sort of a care Nobody's gonna put him on TV.
- 4:38Speaker 1: But there's nothing going on on Sunday, there's no news.
- 4:41Speaker 1: So if he holds a press conference, all the TV
- 4:44Speaker 1: stations even the newspapers will go cover it. Because on
- 4:47Speaker 1: Sunday you're running the assignment desk. You got all these reporters,
- 4:50Speaker 1: there's nothing happening. There's no place to send these people,
- 4:53Speaker 1: so you send them the Schumer press commence. That's why
- 4:55Speaker 1: he does a Sunday press conference. That's the reason you
- 4:59Speaker 1: see him on the news. There was nothing going on
- 5:01Speaker 1: on Sunday. If he did it Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, you'd
- 5:04Speaker 1: never hear you'd never hear about it. Nobody would cover it.
- 5:07Speaker 1: And he comes up with a fake issue. You know,
- 5:11Speaker 1: in fact, in Congress they tell me on Friday everybody
- 5:15Speaker 1: locks their office because the Schumer people come around searching
- 5:18Speaker 1: for an issue. They can use some legislation somebody's proposing,
- 5:22Speaker 1: so they try to steal something from your issues. So
- 5:26Speaker 1: usually it's about seat belts on airplanes. Yes, something stupid.
- 5:31Speaker 1: He makes a whole press conference out of it, and
- 5:33Speaker 1: then as soon as press conference is over, he crumbles
- 5:34Speaker 1: up the script that was written, throws it in the
- 5:36Speaker 1: waste basket, and never thinks about the issue again, never
- 5:39Speaker 1: does anything about it. So yesterday's press conference, people could
- 5:42Speaker 1: not believe this. It's a you know, they found out
- 5:45Speaker 1: some people in government are betting on things on the
- 5:49Speaker 1: poly market, like they'll bet on when we're going to
- 5:50Speaker 1: hit Iran, Iran, or they'll bet on when the war
- 5:53Speaker 1: will be over, or they'll bet on and you can
- 5:56Speaker 1: make money on that poly market if you're right. So
- 5:58Speaker 1: they found out some government people were doing so he
- 6:00Speaker 1: is calling for a legislation that nobody in Congress is
- 6:04Speaker 1: allowed to bet on the polymarket. Nobody is allowed to
- 6:10Speaker 1: bet on anything and try to make money off it.
- 6:14Speaker 1: Because he said, you know, they could have inside knowledge
- 6:17Speaker 1: and it's not fair for them to bet and he
- 6:19Speaker 1: read it. It's just a script. He's reading it. He
- 6:21Speaker 1: doesn't none of this is real or sincere. He just
- 6:23Speaker 1: reads the script with the stupid glasses on. Then he
- 6:26Speaker 1: crumples it up and throws it away. But after this one,
- 6:28Speaker 1: everybody said, well, wait a minute, why aren't you call
- 6:31Speaker 1: him for a ban on insider stock trading. That's where
- 6:34Speaker 1: they're making their real money. That's how you know Nancy
- 6:37Speaker 1: Pelosi goes in the with a dollar fifty and leaves
- 6:40Speaker 1: with eight hundred million. The polymarket is nothing. In fact,
- 6:44Speaker 1: that's kind of fair. Why are you letting him do
- 6:47Speaker 1: the illegal stock trade. Schumer has refused to answer this.
- 6:51Speaker 1: I know he's Democrat, biggest hypocrites on earth, but but
- 6:57Speaker 1: this is like a new record for unbelow believable hypocrisy.
- 7:01Speaker 1: So don't let don't let Shumer forget about this one, crazy, Mom, Donnie,
- 7:08Speaker 1: we're talking about him before. I mean just absolutely. I mean,
- 7:14Speaker 1: you know, people say Dinkins was the worst mayor ever.
- 7:17Speaker 1: I think Deblasio kind of stole the title away. He's
- 7:19Speaker 1: kind of thought of as the worst mayor because everything
- 7:21Speaker 1: was great under Rudy, under Bloomberg and then it all
- 7:26Speaker 1: started to go back to where it was under de Blasio.
- 7:30Speaker 1: But before he's done, Mom Donnie, will steal the title
- 7:34Speaker 1: for worst mayor ever. The difference is to Blasio actually
- 7:37Speaker 1: try to do stuff, bad stuff, but he tried to
- 7:40Speaker 1: do it. The only good news is, Mom Donnie, he
- 7:41Speaker 1: never actually doesn't And he's basically a mayor TikTok. He's
- 7:44Speaker 1: just a TikTok influencer. That's really all he does is videos.
- 7:48Speaker 1: You know, when there's an issue, he does a video
- 7:51Speaker 1: like this Pieto terror tacks. Watch You'll never get this
- 7:53Speaker 1: thing passed. The free grocery store. Never gonna get that built.
- 7:57Speaker 1: You'll never see a free grocery store, the housing things,
- 8:01Speaker 1: you'll never see it happen. Never see it happen. It's
- 8:05Speaker 1: just Instagram TikTok making video. You're going to see that happen.
- 8:08Speaker 1: Oh incredible. The output from this guy onto amazing as
- 8:14Speaker 1: far as getting anything done and forget about it. Hey,
- 8:17Speaker 1: the assassin, there would be assassin Cole Allen latest on him,
- 8:23Speaker 1: A little more detail that's coming out. They said he
- 8:25Speaker 1: thought of himself as Rambo. He really believed he was Rambo.
- 8:29Speaker 1: He armed himself to the teeth. He had everything on him,
- 8:32Speaker 1: besides the big rifle. He had all kinds of guns, knives, blackjacks,
- 8:36Speaker 1: everything on him. They're definitely going to charge him with
- 8:41Speaker 1: an assassination attempt. He got nowhere near the president and
- 8:44Speaker 1: actually didn't even get that close to the ballroom or
- 8:48Speaker 1: get in. But because he wrote it out in his manifesto,
- 8:50Speaker 1: now some people are saying in the manifesto he never
- 8:54Speaker 1: named the president as a target. He talked about the government,
- 8:57Speaker 1: but no, the part where he said about a cereal,
- 9:01Speaker 1: a rapist, a pedophile, even though those things aren't true. Obviously,
- 9:05Speaker 1: he was referring to Trump. There are plenty of people
- 9:07Speaker 1: that have convinced themselves that somewhere in the Epstein files
- 9:12Speaker 1: it says he was a pedophile. There's nothing in the
- 9:14Speaker 1: Epstein files about Trump, nothing bad, nothing at all in there.
- 9:19Speaker 1: But you still hear a lot of Democrats always talking
- 9:21Speaker 1: about Wow, Trump yep This is all to cover up
- 9:24Speaker 1: the Epstein files. Iran was to cover up the Epstein files.
- 9:27Speaker 1: The last guy that wants to cover up these files
- 9:29Speaker 1: is Trump because it totally exonerates him from all the
- 9:32Speaker 1: ridiculous rumors. He should be the first one that would
- 9:37Speaker 1: want everybody go go read through the Epstein files. There's
- 9:40Speaker 1: nothing bad. In fact, the only thing you see about
- 9:41Speaker 1: Trump in there is Epstein hated Trump. Trump knew him
- 9:46Speaker 1: a billion years ago, and then very early in the
- 9:49Speaker 1: relationship found out he was a sleeve and cut him off.
- 9:52Speaker 1: So all through the Epstein files you can see that
- 9:55Speaker 1: Epstein hates Trump so much he's trying to ruin him.
- 9:59Speaker 1: Even during the first term, he's plotting on how to
- 10:03Speaker 1: ruin Trump. That awful sleezeball crazy writer Michael Wolfe writes
- 10:10Speaker 1: all kinds of fake stuff. He's talking to Michael wolf
- 10:13Speaker 1: all day and night, trying to plot with him what
- 10:15Speaker 1: they can do to cause Trump's downfall, and of course
- 10:18Speaker 1: there's nothing there, so they never ever actually came up
- 10:21Speaker 1: with anything. Latest in Iran, first it came out that
- 10:26Speaker 1: we will escort any ships that want to go through
- 10:28Speaker 1: the streets of Hormuz. We'll escort ships who want to
- 10:33Speaker 1: bring their oil through. Now it turns out the US
- 10:36Speaker 1: clarifying that we will not escort the ships. We will
- 10:41Speaker 1: be there and guard the streets of Hormoose as they
- 10:44Speaker 1: come through. Well, that's not good enough for the insurance companies.
- 10:48Speaker 1: It's still risky. In fact, a couple of ships tried
- 10:50Speaker 1: to come through Iran fired warning shots. The real problem
- 10:55Speaker 1: is the insurance companies. I mean, it's a a couple
- 10:59Speaker 1: million for the tanker, it's a couple million for the
- 11:02Speaker 1: oil on board, and insurance companies. You can't move without
- 11:06Speaker 1: the insurance. The insurance companies will not ensure you right
- 11:09Speaker 1: now if you want to go through the straits of
- 11:10Speaker 1: horn Moose. So and Iran has issued more threats. Now
- 11:14Speaker 1: there is a ceasefire, but it's pretty good it is.
- 11:19Speaker 1: You could say it's a stalemate, but it's our stalemate.
- 11:22Speaker 1: We could go back in and start wiping out everything
- 11:25Speaker 1: else if we want. It's kind of a productive stalemate
- 11:28Speaker 1: because right now Iran is kind of neutered. They can't
- 11:31Speaker 1: really do anything. In the past, they've been sponsoring hesbealah
- 11:35Speaker 1: Hamas and the hoodies and all kinds of terrorism, and
- 11:40Speaker 1: they can't do that right now. Their money's all gone,
- 11:42Speaker 1: their revenue has stopped. Obviously there's still some possible nuclear
- 11:48Speaker 1: material buried somewhere, but right now they can't dig it out.
- 11:50Speaker 1: They can't do anything where they'll be seen by satellites
- 11:53Speaker 1: and quickly blown up. So we're in pretty good shape
- 11:56Speaker 1: right now. Iran is not a threat as we speak.
- 11:58Speaker 1: We could keep the stalemate straight to hor Moose. We
- 12:01Speaker 1: can't open that if we wanted to take a lot
- 12:03Speaker 1: of manpower to go clean out along the shore all
- 12:07Speaker 1: those little what they call mosquito boats. But there's no
- 12:12Speaker 1: Russia on that, so we'll see when that happens. Hey,
- 12:16Speaker 1: one of my favorite restaurants is closing right up at
- 12:22Speaker 1: the end of the block, the Red Eye Grill is
- 12:26Speaker 1: there's a guy named Shelley Fireman. He just passed away
- 12:29Speaker 1: at the age of ninety three, but he's one of
- 12:30Speaker 1: the great restaurant tours in New York, Shelley Fireman, Tratteria
- 12:33Speaker 1: de Larte, the Brooklyn Diner, Fiarellas, and Lincoln Center. Lots
- 12:39Speaker 1: of great restaurants. He was ninety two ninety three, still
- 12:42Speaker 1: working all day and night. In fact, he opened the
- 12:45Speaker 1: Paris Bar on fifty seventh Street. That's the new place.
- 12:47Speaker 1: But a lot of people love the Red Eye Grill.
- 12:49Speaker 1: It's been there thirty years. Problem was that with the
- 12:52Speaker 1: landlord they were trying to negotiate a new lease. I
- 12:54Speaker 1: guess the price was crazy. So even a big article
- 12:58Speaker 1: in the post today the Red Eye Grill will close
- 13:00Speaker 1: after thirty years. Good news. It will not close until July,
- 13:04Speaker 1: so you might want to go there and visit one
- 13:07Speaker 1: more time. This guy named Richard is the great manager.
- 13:10Speaker 1: They are one of the best restaurants around this neighborhood. Hey,
- 13:14Speaker 1: Jerry Seinfeld, good for him. You know, Jerry Seinfeld is
- 13:17Speaker 1: a big car guy, Porsche collector, big car guy and
- 13:22Speaker 1: doesn't usually get too political or you know, doesn't usually
- 13:26Speaker 1: get involved in any issues. But he has come out
- 13:28Speaker 1: in this interview and said, forget about electric cars. It's
- 13:31Speaker 1: a stupid virtue signal, said he has zero interest in
- 13:35Speaker 1: electric cars. Seinfeld said he thinks evs are bs and
- 13:41Speaker 1: questioned how environmentally friendly they actually are. Now, you remember,
- 13:46Speaker 1: a gas car runs on gas, an electric car runs
- 13:49Speaker 1: on coal. That's where you get electricity from from coal
- 13:54Speaker 1: and cole is polluting a lot more than gas. And
- 13:58Speaker 1: he also points out, what about the these lithium batteries.
- 14:01Speaker 1: It's like the biggest environmental hazard in the world. A
- 14:06Speaker 1: lithium battery is impossible to dispose of. It's an environmental hazard.
- 14:10Speaker 1: It's worse than nuclear waste. The electric car fanatics will argue, well,
- 14:16Speaker 1: but they last so long you won't have to dispose
- 14:18Speaker 1: of it too often. Well, there would still be millions
- 14:21Speaker 1: of these that we wouldn't know what to do with.
- 14:23Speaker 1: So even Seinfeld saying electric cars are bs, and he said, quote,
- 14:31Speaker 1: I think it's a big stupid virtue signal. It's look
- 14:35Speaker 1: at me, I'm saving the planet. And what about the lithium?
- 14:39Speaker 1: It's all bs. That's the quote from Seinfeld. Well, good
- 14:43Speaker 1: for him for speaking out. Hey, Starbucks has a new CEO.
- 14:49Speaker 1: He's getting a ridiculed a little for being a little
- 14:52Speaker 1: out of touch. He was trying to defend the company's
- 14:55Speaker 1: coffee prices and the nine dollars cup of coffee, and
- 15:00Speaker 1: he said the steep price reflects a premium experience that
- 15:06Speaker 1: they're offering to customers. He said, the customers across all
- 15:10Speaker 1: income levels are happy to shell out nine bucks for
- 15:13Speaker 1: coffee because they want a chance to interact with the
- 15:17Speaker 1: barista or score a great seat inside the chain. Who
- 15:23Speaker 1: the hell wants to interact with the baristas is a
- 15:26Speaker 1: total unpleasant thing. I mean, they're nice people, but you know,
- 15:31Speaker 1: you go in there, there's four of them work in there,
- 15:34Speaker 1: and you want to order. One of them's on the phone,
- 15:37Speaker 1: two of them are talking, one of them's a stock
- 15:39Speaker 1: on the shelf. You can't even get them to wait
- 15:41Speaker 1: on you. Then when they finally wait on you, it's
- 15:44Speaker 1: like the motor vehicle department. Okay, now you're done here.
- 15:46Speaker 1: Now you gotta go wait and line over there to
- 15:48Speaker 1: get your coffee. Nobody wants to interact with these baristas.
- 15:51Speaker 1: And a great seat inside the what the hell would
- 15:54Speaker 1: be a great seat inside Starbucks? A great seat would
- 15:57Speaker 1: be get the hell out of that dump and go
- 15:59Speaker 1: sit in the park or something. And he said, this
- 16:03Speaker 1: is really an affordable premium experience because they're saying, well,
- 16:08Speaker 1: it's it's less than ten dollars and it's a real
- 16:11Speaker 1: premium experience. What is wrong with this guy? Do you
- 16:15Speaker 1: think anybody walks by a Starbucks and go, wow, look
- 16:17Speaker 1: at that. I'd love to be sitting in there with
- 16:20Speaker 1: their cheap little chairs and their crummy little tape. Premium experience,
- 16:24Speaker 1: he said, And it could start with as little as
- 16:26Speaker 1: three dollars for a traditional cup of coffee, and then
- 16:29Speaker 1: you build your way up to customized drinks that people
- 16:32Speaker 1: love that move the ticket up. But it's that premium
- 16:36Speaker 1: experience this guy is. He makes the McDonald's CeAl look
- 16:42Speaker 1: really in touch. Anyway, we'll take some calls next eight
- 16:45Speaker 1: hundred three to two one zero seven ten is the
- 16:48Speaker 1: number eight hundred three two one zero seven ten.
- 16:53Speaker 2: Now more marks amone on seventen wry.
- 17:00Speaker 1: Take some calls eight hundred three two one zero seven ten.
- 17:04Speaker 1: Eight hundred three two one zero seven ten. Latest on
- 17:08Speaker 1: Rudy Giuliani stable condition, very very critical last night. Looks
- 17:13Speaker 1: like he's a little better today, improving slowly slightly. But
- 17:17Speaker 1: he's a great fighter. As you know. Pneumonia was the
- 17:20Speaker 1: main problem. Bad pneumonia, but doing a little better today.
- 17:24Speaker 1: That's good news. Let's go to Bob in Connecticut. Bob,
- 17:27Speaker 1: how you doing.
- 17:30Speaker 3: Okay?
- 17:30Speaker 4: Mark?
- 17:31Speaker 3: But I got a couple of questions for you. No, No.
- 17:35Speaker 3: Earlier in the program he was talking about this TV thing.
- 17:40Speaker 3: What's this TV thing? And then you got this new
- 17:43Speaker 3: guy on that talks about another radio station? Is there
- 17:48Speaker 3: another station?
- 17:49Speaker 1: Oh that's a great question. Thank you for calling in
- 17:52Speaker 1: with those questions. Very good. Let's go to Nolan in
- 17:55Speaker 1: New Jersey. Nolan, how you doing good?
- 17:58Speaker 5: Mark? Good morning. I don't know if you saw Miranda
- 18:01Speaker 5: divine today. She mentions that Chuck Schumer is actually backing
- 18:04Speaker 5: this lunatic Nazi who was running for Senate in Maine.
- 18:07Speaker 5: What happened to our once moderate senator Schuma?
- 18:12Speaker 1: He hadn't been moderate in a long time. Well, in
- 18:14Speaker 1: his defense, it's not just him, All the Democrats are
- 18:18Speaker 1: back in an actual Nazi with a big, huge Nazi
- 18:21Speaker 1: tattoo right on his chest, running.
- 18:24Speaker 5: Up right, and he's a history boss. He claims he
- 18:26Speaker 5: didn't know what that was, but he knows, he knows
- 18:29Speaker 5: exactly what that was.
- 18:31Speaker 1: Well, he has a this is not a joke. How
- 18:33Speaker 1: big would you say, like eight inch knots. It's like
- 18:35Speaker 1: a big round eight inches right in the middle of
- 18:38Speaker 1: his chest. Ye Nazi tattoo. At first he said I
- 18:42Speaker 1: got it in the army with a bunch of we
- 18:44Speaker 1: didn't know it was a Nazi tattoo. And then apparently
- 18:47Speaker 1: before this race, he went to a tattoo guy and
- 18:50Speaker 1: had him like re draw stuff all over it to
- 18:52Speaker 1: make it look different.
- 18:53Speaker 5: So knew in his in his elite prep prep school
- 18:58Speaker 5: in Connecticut that he was voted most likely to thought
- 19:01Speaker 5: a revolution.
- 19:03Speaker 1: Well, he's an actual what's his name, I forget his name,
- 19:08Speaker 1: Gruttney Platiner. What's the first name something begins with a G. Platiner.
- 19:15Speaker 5: H yeah, yeah, just.
- 19:18Speaker 1: Call him the guy with a big Nazi tattoo, Graham
- 19:21Speaker 1: plat Graham Platner, the Democratic. It's the funniest thing in
- 19:26Speaker 1: the world. Thanks Ar. That's a great point. They all
- 19:30Speaker 1: they do is called Trump. A nazis a Nazi. Everybody's
- 19:32Speaker 1: a Nazi. Elon Musk is a Nazi. Uh jd Vance
- 19:35Speaker 1: is a Nazi. Trump is a Nazi. Now they got
- 19:38Speaker 1: a guy who is a Nazi. You got a big
- 19:39Speaker 1: Nazi tattoo. Enormous. I don't mean the size of a
- 19:43Speaker 1: golf ball. I mean, this tattoo is the size of
- 19:46Speaker 1: a big grapefruit right on his chest. It's enormous, big
- 19:50Speaker 1: Nazi tattoo right in his chest. Now, if you say
- 19:53Speaker 1: to them, and people have it, well he's a Nazi.
- 19:56Speaker 1: And they said, well he's grown, he's changed, he's grown.
- 20:01Speaker 1: They supporting an actual Nazi. Now let's go to Rob
- 20:05Speaker 1: in Franklin Square.
- 20:07Speaker 5: Rob, how you doing, Hi, good morning, Mark uh correct
- 20:11Speaker 5: the caller earlier, earlier on John Starling.
- 20:13Speaker 1: He never was in the TV booth.
- 20:15Speaker 5: He was always a school schools will be on the radio.
- 20:17Speaker 6: Okay, maybe nine to two thousand and four. Ye know,
- 20:20Speaker 6: Michael Kay was in the booth radio booth with him.
- 20:22Speaker 6: But Michael Kay went to television. Well yes, yeah, so
- 20:25Speaker 6: he never.
- 20:25Speaker 1: Did TV, all right. But John Sterling nicest guy in
- 20:29Speaker 1: the world. He's one of those people. You know, if
- 20:32Speaker 1: you ask me about anybody in the media, anybody in shows,
- 20:35Speaker 1: I can tell you something bad somewhere, and not everybody's
- 20:40Speaker 1: real bad, but you always tell him something. John Sterling
- 20:43Speaker 1: is not a bad thing you could ever tell anybody
- 20:45Speaker 1: about John Sterling. He was a wonderful, wonderful guy. Let's
- 20:49Speaker 1: go to Joe in Elmwood Park. Joe, how you doing, Joe? Hello, Yeah,
- 20:57Speaker 1: we didn't wake you, did we nor let me check?
- 21:01Speaker 6: Yes, I'm sorry.
- 21:02Speaker 7: Oh this grandpart. He's got that a death squad tattoo
- 21:07Speaker 7: that's even higher than the Nazi. That's the skull and crossbones.
- 21:10Speaker 7: That was the death squad. They were ahead of. They
- 21:13Speaker 7: called him the death squad. They were ahead of the
- 21:17Speaker 7: you know.
- 21:17Speaker 1: The doc out and all the Yeah, no, very good,
- 21:20Speaker 1: thanks for pointing that out. So it's not just a
- 21:21Speaker 1: Nazi tattoo, it's a Nazi death squad tattoo. And this
- 21:25Speaker 1: is who all the Democrats are backing, defending, praising. And again,
- 21:30Speaker 1: if you say to any but the Nazi, well he's grown,
- 21:34Speaker 1: he's changed, he's yeah right, let's go to Vincent and Brooklyn. Vincent,
- 21:39Speaker 1: how you doing.
- 21:39Speaker 6: Good morning, Mark, Good morning Marah Mark for Mayor Mondam,
- 21:44Speaker 6: he's always aquiring the blues that he has no money,
- 21:47Speaker 6: that there's a budget short for. But yeah, he's doing
- 21:51Speaker 6: all these kookie projects, like he wants to rip up
- 21:55Speaker 6: Park Avenue, he wants to rip up Fifth Avenue and
- 21:58Speaker 6: put all these bike lanes this green way. And meanwhile
- 22:01Speaker 6: all the people in the Nycher houses and the other
- 22:06Speaker 6: buildings that the city owns. There are those buildings uh
- 22:11Speaker 6: neet upgrades, repairs and some of them. If that was
- 22:14Speaker 6: a private owner who owned the building, you'd get a
- 22:17Speaker 6: million summonses. So what I'm calling all the people who
- 22:21Speaker 6: live in the Nycher housing projects what they should do
- 22:24Speaker 6: is all at once do a rent strike. And then
- 22:28Speaker 6: when the city officials say, hey, what's going on over here?
- 22:31Speaker 6: You got to pay your rent, say well, all about
- 22:34Speaker 6: using all that money for these these green projects, why
- 22:37Speaker 6: don't you come and repair our apartments. You're always crying
- 22:41Speaker 6: the blues that you have no money, but yet you
- 22:43Speaker 6: seem to find it for all these cookie green things,
- 22:47Speaker 6: which really nobody wants. If you ask somebody, what do
- 22:50Speaker 6: you want? Green streets and bike lanes or a safe
- 22:54Speaker 6: city and safe subways. They talk about the city so safe.
- 22:58Speaker 6: Yet every day we're hearing about this one got murdered,
- 23:01Speaker 6: this one's got murdered. There's they're doing donuts, there's a
- 23:05Speaker 6: car rallies and queens. HiT's a bunch of bs, Like
- 23:09Speaker 6: Glynz Peak said, this guy doesn't know what he's doing.
- 23:12Speaker 1: Yeah, absolutely well, Vincent, great point, thanks for calling. Now.
- 23:15Speaker 1: The good news is, uh, he never can get anything done.
- 23:19Speaker 1: He's he's just a talker. You know, you got the
- 23:22Speaker 1: people are just salesman. They can just he's a salesman.
- 23:24Speaker 1: He's not a manager. Doesn't know how to manage, doesn't
- 23:27Speaker 1: know how to execute. Can't get anything done except he's
- 23:30Speaker 1: very good at the TikTok videos, but salespeople know how
- 23:33Speaker 1: to do that. So Instagram TikTok credible h incredible production
- 23:38Speaker 1: coming out of him everyday, new videos, but actually getting
- 23:41Speaker 1: something done. What Vincent is talking about with the park
- 23:44Speaker 1: Avenue is the craziest idea I've ever seen. They want
- 23:48Speaker 1: to You know, there's the medians in the middle of
- 23:50Speaker 1: Park Avenue with little grass and some flowers right in
- 23:52Speaker 1: the middle of Park Avenue all the way down. He
- 23:54Speaker 1: wants to expand those so wide that it would take
- 23:58Speaker 1: out all the lanes of track, so you end up
- 24:01Speaker 1: with just one lane on each side, and the middle
- 24:03Speaker 1: of a park avenue would be a grass where you
- 24:06Speaker 1: could He said, it'll be a park where people can
- 24:08Speaker 1: spend time. We've got Central Park. You can go to
- 24:11Speaker 1: Central Park, sit by the lake. Who wants to go
- 24:14Speaker 1: in the middle of Park Avenue, sit on that grass.
- 24:17Speaker 1: I'd like to just sit there and look at the
- 24:18Speaker 1: JP Morgan building. Who wants to do that? I'd like
- 24:23Speaker 1: to just sit there and look at the Bank of
- 24:24Speaker 1: America building. It doesn't make any sense. You'll talk more
- 24:27Speaker 1: about it in the moment. Oh, you know, we'll be
- 24:28Speaker 1: with us next and Colder normally on Wednesdays, but this
- 24:32Speaker 1: week had a move to today. We'll talk to her
- 24:34Speaker 1: next on seven to ten. WR give WR a bre
- 24:40Speaker 1: said on the iHeartRadio app to hear Mark Simone and
- 24:43Speaker 1: all the WR hosts in an instance, go back to
- 24:47Speaker 1: the Marximo Show on wor Well, Hey with us right
- 24:53Speaker 1: now and Colder the great columnist, best selling author. Also
- 24:59Speaker 1: check her out on rumb and don't forget her substack
- 25:02Speaker 1: follow on Twitter and culture Twitter, but even better substack
- 25:06Speaker 1: there's all kinds of stuff up there, and culter dot
- 25:09Speaker 1: substack dot com and culter.
- 25:12Speaker 4: How you doing fantastic? How are you? Mark Simon?
- 25:15Speaker 1: I'm good? Hey, So what do you have on Rumble?
- 25:19Speaker 6: Oh?
- 25:19Speaker 4: I'm gonna start posting my videos on Rumble first on Thursdays.
- 25:24Speaker 4: My interviews and the five Things podcast I've done will
- 25:28Speaker 4: be video, not just audio mondays at five.
- 25:32Speaker 1: Yeah, do you know anybody in America who does not
- 25:35Speaker 1: have a podcast right now?
- 25:38Speaker 4: I met a guy last week.
- 25:41Speaker 1: I mean, you're a professional, but all these amateurs with
- 25:44Speaker 1: their podcasts, it's ridiculous. The dentistcast.
- 25:47Speaker 4: I'm sure you'd watch my videos and say that's a professional.
- 25:51Speaker 1: Professionally on television five.
- 25:53Speaker 4: Million times from Well, I'm a professional guest for producing
- 25:57Speaker 4: these things. But oh, I think that's part of the
- 26:02Speaker 4: Charms podcast.
- 26:03Speaker 1: Yeah, hey, let me ask you were just talking about
- 26:05Speaker 1: this a minute ago. These crazy democrats that run cities,
- 26:10Speaker 1: like this crazy democrat mom, Dannie. All they wanted to
- 26:14Speaker 1: do is fill those streets with bikes and scooters and
- 26:18Speaker 1: everything of cars. And now, I don't know if you
- 26:20Speaker 1: know this. He wants to take Park Avenue. You know
- 26:23Speaker 1: you have little grass strips in the middle eep. He
- 26:25Speaker 1: wants to expand those so big that there'll only be
- 26:28Speaker 1: one lane of traffic on each side. And he thinks
- 26:31Speaker 1: he's creating a million little parks in there. Who the
- 26:33Speaker 1: hell wants to sit in the middle of Park Avenue.
- 26:36Speaker 4: I was saying about that, And how do you get there?
- 26:40Speaker 4: I mean, I guess you wait for the walk signal,
- 26:43Speaker 4: but it's not sitting in the middle of a medium.
- 26:45Speaker 4: They're going to have like park benches so you can
- 26:47Speaker 4: eat lunch there. And that is a crucial choke point
- 26:51Speaker 4: for traffic in New York City, right there in the
- 26:55Speaker 4: center of the center of the city. It's an absolute disease.
- 27:01Speaker 4: And it's no, it's not going to be park light.
- 27:04Speaker 4: I would also say that consistent with liberals overall view
- 27:09Speaker 4: they have there is no factoring in beauty, no factoring
- 27:15Speaker 4: in what something looks like when you walk around, it's
- 27:20Speaker 4: just all like you know, Soviet architecture and showing the
- 27:24Speaker 4: workers and no windows, and it's just utilitary, mutilitarian. The
- 27:29Speaker 4: medians are beautiful. I remember a few years ago. I
- 27:32Speaker 4: don't know if you've ever been to the Christmas tree
- 27:34Speaker 4: lighting up and down Park Avenue. They do it that
- 27:39Speaker 4: the little brick church. I forget what the crossroad is,
- 27:41Speaker 4: but like ninety six then park and the woman minister
- 27:46Speaker 4: gives a little speed both people sing sing Christmas songs.
- 27:49Speaker 4: He gives a little speech and then she says, let
- 27:51Speaker 4: there be light. Hits a button and one by one
- 27:54Speaker 4: you see all the Christmas trees down Park Avenue lighting
- 27:57Speaker 4: up and it's so pretty. You should always go when
- 28:01Speaker 4: you're in New York City for that in early December,
- 28:04Speaker 4: and I remember thinking, one, you're okay, finally I'm getting
- 28:08Speaker 4: something for my tax money. I realized, of course, this
- 28:12Speaker 4: has nothing to do with tax money. This is all
- 28:15Speaker 4: privately funded. There are, or there used to be able
- 28:18Speaker 4: to see if Mom and Dami drives them all out.
- 28:21Speaker 4: A lot of wealthy people in New York, and they're
- 28:23Speaker 4: extremely stilanthropic at creating beauty in New York. It's never
- 28:29Speaker 4: created by the government. Anything the government creates is going
- 28:33Speaker 4: to be Soviet architecture, ugly and horrible. And this park
- 28:36Speaker 4: avenue idea is part of it.
- 28:39Speaker 1: Hey. Also, you cut down Park Avenue to one lane,
- 28:41Speaker 1: that's gonna make all the traffic go to all the
- 28:43Speaker 1: other avenues. Yep, it's a disaster.
- 28:46Speaker 4: It's a disaster. So can he do this unilaterally? Please
- 28:50Speaker 4: tell me there are a million except every agency above
- 28:53Speaker 4: him will be just as crazy.
- 28:55Speaker 1: Yeah. Well, the good news is with Mom Donnie, he
- 28:57Speaker 1: never actually can accomplish anything and never canna actually get
- 28:59Speaker 1: anything done because he has no management skill. He just
- 29:03Speaker 1: makes sense.
- 29:03Speaker 4: Oh, I hope you're right, Mike, Marsimone. This attack on
- 29:07Speaker 4: Ken Griffin is I mean, it's the talk of the town.
- 29:11Speaker 4: It's such utter, complete madness. Griffin is about to build
- 29:15Speaker 4: some beautiful building, I think, on Park Avenue one.
- 29:18Speaker 1: This is a reason to build it.
- 29:21Speaker 4: Yeah, it's going to employ fifteen thousand workers just to
- 29:26Speaker 4: put it up, this beautiful building, which, as I say,
- 29:28Speaker 4: beauty is something liberals do not account for, that never
- 29:32Speaker 4: gets factored in. But but all of the charitable giving
- 29:36Speaker 4: that that Ken Griffin has done in this city. And
- 29:39Speaker 4: and now you have Mondami unleashed, unleashing the nuts who
- 29:45Speaker 4: are just sucking up our tax money to go protest
- 29:48Speaker 4: Ken Griffin. And and and I mean he finally responded
- 29:52Speaker 4: to you. I think he said something very beautiful, which
- 29:56Speaker 4: is communism is not in our DNA. I will footnote
- 30:00Speaker 4: that and say that's why it's a problem that we're
- 30:03Speaker 4: changing the DNA, and I mean the literal DNA of
- 30:06Speaker 4: this country, because communism is a lot in a lot
- 30:10Speaker 4: of the DNA we're bringing in.
- 30:12Speaker 1: Well. Now, some are saying that Democrats are the ones
- 30:15Speaker 1: who don't follow the science. They never follow science.
- 30:18Speaker 4: Yes, I have that, so an entire chapter in my
- 30:21Speaker 4: book godless. They have never followed the science, because.
- 30:23Speaker 1: When it comes to an economy, there's a science to it.
- 30:25Speaker 1: If you cut the taxes, more people come. If you're over,
- 30:28Speaker 1: it's a simple science. The more you tax something, the
- 30:30Speaker 1: less you get of it. If you tax the billionaires,
- 30:33Speaker 1: they leave.
- 30:34Speaker 4: Yes, yes, I mean we've seen that in a big
- 30:36Speaker 4: way in California. You don't even have to go go
- 30:41Speaker 4: looking at what happened in places like London, though it's
- 30:44Speaker 4: happened in places like London, but you know that half
- 30:48Speaker 4: of Silicon Valley is pulled out because of the threat
- 30:52Speaker 4: of this initiative going through this November that will impose
- 30:57Speaker 4: a wealth tax on well, it's always temporarily. The first
- 31:02Speaker 4: version of it is always on you know, just some
- 31:05Speaker 4: uber rich number, something ridiculous. You know, you have to
- 31:07Speaker 4: have at least a billion dollars or something. Yeah, I
- 31:10Speaker 4: promise by year two it's going to be a wealth
- 31:12Speaker 4: tax on people with you know, one hundred thousand dollars.
- 31:16Speaker 4: Do not expect it to only hit only hit the rich.
- 31:19Speaker 4: But as for liberals and science, yes, you remember they
- 31:22Speaker 4: were the ones who were pushing the idea of heterosexual aids.
- 31:26Speaker 4: That was a good one. Yeah, there was the breast
- 31:29Speaker 4: implants cause cancer. There were the cancer clusters. Turns out
- 31:36Speaker 4: there are just some coincidences in life. They've never found
- 31:40Speaker 4: anything to the cancer clusters. And of course they're nonsense
- 31:44Speaker 4: about global cooling, global warming. I guess we're back to
- 31:47Speaker 4: global cool cooling again. No, it is liberals who will
- 31:50Speaker 4: not believe the science.
- 31:52Speaker 1: Yeah, even and everything else. The economy. This is a science.
- 31:55Speaker 1: There's a science to everything you do. They just won't
- 31:58Speaker 1: follow it. So be airlines, great example, follow the science.
- 32:02Speaker 1: You don't let them merge. It goes out of business.
- 32:05Speaker 4: Yes, and if you start pointless wars, fuel will go
- 32:09Speaker 4: up and that'll be the final death nail. I don't
- 32:12Speaker 4: know if you saw my tweets on this this this weekend,
- 32:17Speaker 4: but here's here's the idea Trump could could could win
- 32:23Speaker 4: back his massively lost popularity on the Iran war by
- 32:28Speaker 4: simply abolishing TSA, which would say fifteen billion dollars a year.
- 32:33Speaker 4: And we could apply that fifteen billion dollars to support
- 32:37Speaker 4: and subsidize discount airlines or airlines generally when they get
- 32:41Speaker 4: in trouble because O say, pass has gone up because
- 32:44Speaker 4: of our fuel has gone up, because of pointless war
- 32:48Speaker 4: because it's airlines are almost a public utility in a
- 32:51Speaker 4: country that's, you know, an intercontinental nation. We do need airplanes.
- 32:59Speaker 4: They at a very very narrow profit margin. It's nice
- 33:04Speaker 4: to have them competing with one another for discount fairs,
- 33:07Speaker 4: but it's also extremely volatile. I mean, what are you
- 33:11Speaker 4: gonna do just Either flying is going to become astronomically
- 33:15Speaker 4: expensive only for the rich, which isn't a good thing
- 33:17Speaker 4: in a big country like this, or you'll probably have
- 33:21Speaker 4: to find some way to buck them up now and
- 33:23Speaker 4: then it's not the same as saving Chrystler. That's just
- 33:26Speaker 4: you know, bad management and bad deals with the unions.
- 33:29Speaker 4: Airlines are not that profitable, and TSA not profitable at all.
- 33:35Speaker 4: It costs US fifteen billion a year and accomplishes nothing.
- 33:39Speaker 1: There might be younger people who says, what do you
- 33:41Speaker 1: mean no TSA? Why that sounds and they don't realize
- 33:44Speaker 1: there was no TSA for years and nine.
- 33:48Speaker 4: To eleven attack was obsolete the day it happened. You
- 33:53Speaker 4: can only do a sucker punch once. That's why you
- 33:56Speaker 4: know the plane went down, the third plane went down
- 33:59Speaker 4: over or four plane went down in Pennsylvania because once
- 34:04Speaker 4: the fourth plane, once we knew what they were doing,
- 34:06Speaker 4: and they weren't saying land in Cuba. It'll never work again.
- 34:12Speaker 4: It is utterly moronic. A. We don't need it. B.
- 34:16Speaker 4: Whenever they test the TSA now they won't release the
- 34:19Speaker 4: tests anymore. That's that's their response to it. Ninety percent
- 34:22Speaker 4: of weapons get through.
- 34:24Speaker 1: Yeah, So this White House Correspondence dinner shooter brought his
- 34:28Speaker 1: big rifle on the train. He came all the way
- 34:30Speaker 1: by train from California. It turns out because there's no TSA.
- 34:33Speaker 1: And I started to realize, for twenty five years there's
- 34:36Speaker 1: been no TSA in the trains and they've never had
- 34:38Speaker 1: a problem.
- 34:38Speaker 4: Have they correct? Correct? Also? Did you see the I
- 34:44Speaker 4: guess ammunition bomb sniffing dog trying to go after the
- 34:48Speaker 4: shooter at the White House Correspondence dinner and his handler
- 34:51Speaker 4: pulling him back. That was all over Twitter this this
- 34:55Speaker 4: weekend and people were all saying, you know, pointing out
- 34:57Speaker 4: that the human pulling the dog back when he's when
- 35:01Speaker 4: he's sniffing out the shooter. And the defense online was, oh, yeah,
- 35:07Speaker 4: but that's not secret Service, that's TSA. Okay, there's my point.
- 35:14Speaker 1: Now, your kids today you won't be able to even
- 35:16Speaker 1: picture this. In the good old days, you could show
- 35:19Speaker 1: up at the airport the last minute, you could remember
- 35:23Speaker 1: the shuttle to wash it. You didn't even have to
- 35:24Speaker 1: have a ticket. You could jump on without a ticket,
- 35:26Speaker 1: buy it.
- 35:26Speaker 4: On the plane, yes, walk straight onto the tarmac and
- 35:31Speaker 4: everything was fine, and it would be again.
- 35:36Speaker 1: I'm watching your friend Bill Maher with Gavin Newsom, trying
- 35:40Speaker 1: to give my heart. But the Democrats, Mom, Donnie Newsom,
- 35:44Speaker 1: they come up with these guys that are basically just salesmen.
- 35:46Speaker 1: They're not managers. They can't run anything. They just slick salesman.
- 35:50Speaker 1: When is that going to stop?
- 35:52Speaker 4: Well, it's worked for them before. I mean, isn't that
- 35:56Speaker 4: what Bill Clinton was? I don't know. I hate to say.
- 36:00Speaker 4: I think Newsom has a good shot. Yeah, but it's
- 36:04Speaker 4: horrifying look at his record. I know, but I think
- 36:06Speaker 4: most people don't vote on that. They quote on him
- 36:08Speaker 4: being slick.
- 36:09Speaker 1: Historically, this far out, there's always some pretty boy in
- 36:12Speaker 1: the lead John Edwards, Gary Hart, and then he always fizzle.
- 36:16Speaker 1: They never get the nomination.
- 36:18Speaker 4: Oh good point.
- 36:20Speaker 1: Oh well, it took a while, but I got one.
- 36:24Speaker 4: Many good points that one had not occurred to me,
- 36:27Speaker 4: that is a good point, yea, although I'm not sure
- 36:31Speaker 4: whether I should be calmed by that. What does that
- 36:33Speaker 4: put AOC in the lead? Nah?
- 36:36Speaker 5: Usually uh hey, maybe picture that.
- 36:40Speaker 1: Sometimes you get a Bill Clinton who shows up who
- 36:42Speaker 1: tries to lead the party back to the center, which
- 36:45Speaker 1: is better than being crazy socialist. So that could happen. Anyway.
- 36:50Speaker 1: We're out of time. But now where should we go?
- 36:51Speaker 1: See you on Rumble?
- 36:53Speaker 4: Well today five pm. Rumble you subscribe. You don't have
- 36:57Speaker 4: to subscribe, but if you subscribe you'll get notices and
- 37:00Speaker 4: I don't know other benefits from Rumble, but that's where
- 37:03Speaker 4: I'll post. I will do my five stories you might
- 37:07Speaker 4: have missed this week live at five pm.
- 37:09Speaker 1: Now. For those who don't know Rumble, it's like YouTube.
- 37:12Speaker 1: It's like the conservative YouTube, no censorship. A lot of
- 37:15Speaker 1: people use Rumble instead of YouTube. Check it out and
- 37:19Speaker 1: culture at Rumble and then follow on Twitter, and don't
- 37:23Speaker 1: forget substack great stuff there. Go to Anculter dot substack
- 37:27Speaker 1: dot com and culture. Thanks for being with us.
- 37:30Speaker 4: Good to talk to you, Mark Simone, Bye bye, take care.
- 37:34Speaker 1: Hey, don't forget coming up at noon, Buck Sexton, Klay, Travis.
- 37:38Speaker 1: They do a wonderful show every day noon to three.
- 37:40Speaker 1: And you know that Curtis Leiwa is back. He's here
- 37:43Speaker 1: every morning. It's Curtisliwa and Larry Menti every morning six
- 37:48Speaker 1: to ten. Right here on seven to ten, Woir.
- 37:52Speaker 2: The Mark Simone Show continues on sevent ten.
- 37:56Speaker 1: Wor Hey, the latest on Rudy Giuliani. He was in
- 38:03Speaker 1: bad shape. Yes, he had to go to the hospital.
- 38:04Speaker 1: He was in critical condition yesterday, the stable but critical condition.
- 38:08Speaker 1: He's doing a little better today, just a little better,
- 38:12Speaker 1: sort of turned a corner. Not out of the woods yet.
- 38:14Speaker 1: But it's pneumonia, bad pneumonia, respiratory issues. Now you know,
- 38:21Speaker 1: of course he spent so much time at nine to
- 38:22Speaker 1: eleven at ground zero. That can catch up with you.
- 38:27Speaker 1: And well, we'll see. Today's a crucial day. If he
- 38:32Speaker 1: gets through the day and proves throughout the day, that's
- 38:34Speaker 1: a very good sign. But he's doing a little better
- 38:37Speaker 1: than yesterday. It is pneumonia. And he's a great fighter
- 38:42Speaker 1: in everything. He was always the greatest fighter as a
- 38:44Speaker 1: US Attorney, as mayor, in whatever he did, and he
- 38:49Speaker 1: will be in this case too. The other bad news
- 38:52Speaker 1: we lost John Sterling, the great Yankee announcing a wonderful guy,
- 38:56Speaker 1: good friend, just a nice guy in the world. He's
- 39:01Speaker 1: eighty seven years old and some health problems for the
- 39:06Speaker 1: last last while. But a wonderful guy, just a great
- 39:12Speaker 1: guy in real life. Let me see him looking for
- 39:16Speaker 1: there you go, whole game over? Yankees win, The Yankees win. Yeah,
- 39:24Speaker 1: the great johnst.
- 39:25Speaker 8: Oh no, there it goes to eat right, hit us high,
- 39:27Speaker 8: hit us far, it is gone, hit at the foul pole.
- 39:32Speaker 8: Curtis Grannison, Is it a three run home run to
- 39:36Speaker 8: go with his two run home run? The grandy Man
- 39:39Speaker 8: can oh, The grandy Man can ye?
- 39:45Speaker 1: So what else? The Kentucky Derby. First female jockey to
- 39:49Speaker 1: win the Kentucky Derby Female jockey one? Another major? Was
- 39:53Speaker 1: it the Preakness? But this is the first female derby winner.
- 39:57Speaker 1: It's kind of a silly thing, this sorceration. I went
- 39:59Speaker 1: to big Kentucky Derby party. The party goes on for
- 40:02Speaker 1: like hours and hours and hours. In the middle of
- 40:05Speaker 1: this party, you stop for like four seconds to watch
- 40:07Speaker 1: this race. The whole race is like thirty seconds. What
- 40:10Speaker 1: other sports to get away with that? Can you imagine everybody
- 40:13Speaker 1: goes to a baseball game, you fill up the stadium,
- 40:16Speaker 1: you park your car and the whole game is like
- 40:18Speaker 1: thirty seconds. How do they get away with that?
- 40:20Speaker 2: Here is say arrived in two the final four line
- 40:23Speaker 2: O Sally is also gaining ground on the far outside
- 40:27Speaker 2: because they prop for the last sixteenth of a mile
- 40:30Speaker 2: J non permanent front ot sunny you drug side ready.
- 40:33Speaker 1: Well, actually you know you got to see it. If
- 40:35Speaker 1: you go to my Twitter, you can see I have
- 40:36Speaker 1: the video open the Twitter overhead shot. If you see
- 40:39Speaker 1: where that horse came from so far back, just in
- 40:43Speaker 1: the last few seconds, how far that horse moved up.
- 40:46Speaker 1: It's pretty amazing. Check out my Twitter you'll see it's
