Two Arrested for Arson in Anderson County | Lexington News
Two men from Lawrenceburg, Ricky Baker and Michael Sayre, were arrested after allegedly setting multiple fires in Anderson County’s Tyrone community overnight, sparking a high-speed chase and leading to charges including first-degree arson, fleeing, and wanton endangerment—plus additional charges for Sayre’s intoxication and resisting arrest. Emergency crews responded to a rapidly spreading barn fire that threatened nearby homes, but managed to contain it. Sayre was eventually caught in the woods, while Baker turned himself in.
