  Hello there. Many moons ago, around this time, I was put on a road that diverged

  from my pagan ways to where I am.

  The journey was hard, addled with hardship, misery, strife, and learning.

  Lots of learning. All that I thought I knew about myself I had to throw out
• 0:18
  the window and start afresh.

  At every stage in my life, God had a plan and said, you are here.

  There was more to that statement, I'm sure, but all I heard was a fact that I was there.

  Along the way, there were many emotions that well up. Sometimes I felt like
• 0:36
  a David, and other times like an Esther.
• 0:39
  And still other times I felt like a Job. But here I am, in the shadow of His almighty wings.

  As I grow closer to God, the journey gets promising.

  But only if I let go, align my will, and seek His perfect peace.

  Quote, Be merciful to me, O God, be merciful to me. For my soul trusts in you,
• 1:03
  and in the shadow of your wings I will make my refuge.

  Psalm 57, verse 1. What should my stance be when I am here?

  That the Lord called Samuel, and he answered, Here I am. End quote.

  1 Samuel 3, verse 4.

  I am sure some God-loving theologian would have volumes to speak on the topic
• 1:31
  of Hineni. Here I am in Hebrew.

  However, during my daily devotional, this is what popped in my head. Three things.
• 1:41
  Gratitude. Be grateful for His blood, merciful kindness, and His benevolence
• 1:47
  for rebirth, and a chance for everlasting life. 2.

  Seek perfect peace that only He gives. Set all worries and troubles at His divine
• 1:57
  feet and say, I am done carrying this that comes from the world and not from you.

  Quote, Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication.

  With thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God, and the peace of
• 2:17
  God will surpass all understanding, We'll guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

  Philippians 4, verses 6 and 7.

  And finally, align with God's will through complete surrender.

  There is a hymn called Surrender, and the lyrics are beautiful.

  All to Jesus I surrender, all to Him I freely give.

  I will ever love and trust Him in His presence daily live.

  All to Thee, my blessed Savior, I surrender all. No matter what we face in Jesus'
• 2:57
  loving presence, it is good to be here.

  I pray that it is true for all of God's children.

  Dear God, please teach me to seek you out always.

  Help me be content and aligned with your will every step of the way.

  May I show gratitude, enjoy your perfect peace, and walk the walk that you have
• 3:20
  intended for me. I pray this in Jesus' precious name. Amen.
