- 0:14Speaker 1: As always, we reflect on what we sipping on. What
- 0:16Speaker 1: do you got on?
- 0:18Speaker 3: I make a little tea.
- 0:20Speaker 4: It consists of tumeric, ginger, cinnamon, a little bit of lemon,
- 0:28Speaker 4: real lemon juice. I have a lemon tree in my
- 0:30Speaker 4: front yard, apple cider, vinegar.
- 0:34Speaker 3: It's it's a little concoction of it.
- 0:37Speaker 1: Just kind of kept going.
- 0:39Speaker 3: Yeah, there's about five different things in here.
- 0:41Speaker 1: Yeah, this is pretty amazing for us.
- 0:43Speaker 3: Good for inflammation.
- 0:44Speaker 2: Have you ever done the cocau thing, like the drinking
- 0:47Speaker 2: the you know, the rock cocow kind of tea?
- 0:51Speaker 3: What is that?
- 0:51Speaker 2: It's supposed to also help with that moot stabilizer supposed
- 0:55Speaker 2: to be like really great for circulation and all that stuff.
- 0:58Speaker 2: But the cocau, the rock cockw is think it's like
- 1:00Speaker 2: a power a power drink.
- 1:02Speaker 5: You know.
- 1:05Speaker 1: It kind of.
- 1:05Speaker 2: Tastes like hot chocolate, but a lot more rock a
- 1:08Speaker 2: cow hot chocolate.
- 1:09Speaker 4: You know?
- 1:10Speaker 2: Do you do it on a regular I used to
- 1:12Speaker 2: do it almost weekly and then I ran Now I
- 1:14Speaker 2: didn't never replenish it, But.
- 1:16Speaker 3: You go back on Amazon.
- 1:18Speaker 1: Like my my bro.
- 1:19Speaker 2: Jonathan Tucker, who's an incredible actor, an amazing friend, and
- 1:24Speaker 2: one of the most special individuals I know. He you know,
- 1:29Speaker 2: he definitely, he's like he lives by it. It's like
- 1:32Speaker 2: a you know, the co cow is his power drink.
- 1:35Speaker 2: You know, it's a thing that kind of it's like
- 1:37Speaker 2: a like a a caffeinated is. I think he has
- 1:41Speaker 2: a little caffeination. But it's like it's it's it's a booster.
- 1:44Speaker 2: It's it's really really magical. Actually, if you look at
- 1:47Speaker 2: the properties and all stuff, it's very healing and circulation
- 1:51Speaker 2: and you know, it's really interesting.
- 1:54Speaker 3: I gotta check it out. Lines made remember we had
- 1:56Speaker 3: the lines.
- 1:56Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I actually just bought some more you did.
- 2:00Speaker 2: So maybe for the next episode, our listeners, we'll go
- 2:03Speaker 2: into a trip, into a journey with us.
- 2:05Speaker 1: We will be super focused. Yeah, I can show you.
- 2:10Speaker 1: I want to show you what I what I got
- 2:12Speaker 1: because I think you were like it.
- 2:14Speaker 2: But but first and first and foremost, we took a
- 2:17Speaker 2: couple of I guess maybe two weeks, three weeks I
- 2:19Speaker 2: didn't see you.
- 2:20Speaker 1: I text you. I was having sounds. Yes, dude, I I.
- 2:23Speaker 2: I've grown emotionally dependent of our conversations.
- 2:28Speaker 3: Because it's because you don't have any brothers.
- 2:30Speaker 2: That's exactly what well I do now, Yeah, no, absolutely,
- 2:34Speaker 2: but I was and I'm for those of you who
- 2:37Speaker 2: are listening to this, and I'm doing the little googly eyes,
- 2:40Speaker 2: uh you know, little anime googly eyes when I say
- 2:43Speaker 2: what I do now.
- 2:44Speaker 3: Thank you? Brother? I received that. Man.
- 2:46Speaker 4: Uh, you have no brothers and I have no I
- 2:49Speaker 4: have no younger brothers and my two brothers are a
- 2:52Speaker 4: lot older than me, so I very much grew up alone.
- 2:58Speaker 1: So yeah, Thus, thus the.
- 3:05Speaker 2: Hey, Freddy, did you like sometimes like do you sometimes
- 3:09Speaker 2: like like sometimes like you sometimes think of me?
- 3:15Speaker 1: So uh speaking of you know, uh missing our conversations.
- 3:21Speaker 3: Yea.
- 3:22Speaker 1: What has been the feedback on the on the podcast
- 3:25Speaker 1: for you?
- 3:25Speaker 3: Oh?
- 3:26Speaker 2: Man?
- 3:26Speaker 4: So incredibly positive. I had a cousin who I don't
- 3:30Speaker 4: really speak to, not for any particular reason, but she
- 3:33Speaker 4: lives in New York I live here, and she was
- 3:35Speaker 4: saying that the podcast that we had on mental health
- 3:40Speaker 4: helped her so much and it really resonated with.
- 3:44Speaker 3: Her, and I thought that Wow.
- 3:45Speaker 4: I thought, wow, here's someone who I barely speak to,
- 3:48Speaker 4: who who felt the need to reach out to me
- 3:50Speaker 4: and to tell me that. But people are having fun.
- 3:54Speaker 4: You're having fun just kind of listening to it. I
- 3:56Speaker 4: think people are sort of feeling like that, like they're
- 3:59Speaker 4: in the.
- 3:59Speaker 1: Third chair to me, go here and yeah, there are
- 4:02Speaker 1: dinner with us.
- 4:03Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, man. So it's been pretty positive.
- 4:05Speaker 1: Yeah, no, same same here.
- 4:06Speaker 2: And I think that this is for those who are
- 4:09Speaker 2: listening or for those who are watching, I just want
- 4:12Speaker 2: to say, we're so grateful. We see you guys participating,
- 4:16Speaker 2: you see you sharing the clips, and we're just so grateful.
- 4:20Speaker 2: You know, we made this for you, and uh, I
- 4:24Speaker 2: think partially for us.
- 4:26Speaker 1: We we also wanted and needed this. But yeah, really
- 4:29Speaker 1: really excited that's working.
- 4:30Speaker 2: And so just this is their moment to say thank
- 4:32Speaker 2: you to all of our amazing fans and the audiences
- 4:35Speaker 2: that are discovering the show. As always, we love your feedback.
- 4:39Speaker 2: Tell us, you know, find us on Instagram, find us
- 4:42Speaker 2: on all the platforms and or Facebook, wherever we're at,
- 4:45Speaker 2: and uh, you know, ask us questions. You know there
- 4:49Speaker 2: there's themes, is there's conversations. Is there things that you
- 4:53Speaker 2: want us to discuss. We'd love to, uh, you know,
- 4:56Speaker 2: we we'd love to dive into it in future episodes. Absolutely,
- 4:59Speaker 2: So for the of you in the audience, you know
- 5:01Speaker 2: who would like to communicate with us and send us
- 5:03Speaker 2: some you know, subjects or conversations or topics that you
- 5:06Speaker 2: like for us to deep dive on. You can DM
- 5:09Speaker 2: us at Those amigos talk on Instagram, or you can
- 5:13Speaker 2: email us at Leo what is it dose?
- 5:15Speaker 5: Amgos talk at Gmail.
- 5:17Speaker 2: Those amigos talk at gmail dot com. Anyhow, moving on
- 5:22Speaker 2: to a two day's episode, we wanted to make a
- 5:27Speaker 2: different episode. We want to do something a little just
- 5:29Speaker 2: kind of draw us out the line a little bit.
- 5:30Speaker 1: How does it work, Leo? How does yeah valiation work?
- 5:34Speaker 3: What do you know about blunt?
- 5:35Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 5:35Speaker 1: Exactly. By the way, what is a blunt, yeah, Leo?
- 5:38Speaker 5: A blunt is yeah, let me define.
- 5:41Speaker 2: I'm assuming a blunt rotation is when somebody is sharing
- 5:46Speaker 2: a smoking device and it goes around the room and
- 5:51Speaker 2: every time someone holds it something is supposed to be said.
- 5:54Speaker 1: Is that what you're saying?
- 5:55Speaker 6: Kind of, Yeah, it's more more or less just saying, like,
- 5:58Speaker 6: you know, if you had a room full of people,
- 6:02Speaker 6: who do you want there?
- 6:03Speaker 5: Who do you want in that that circle?
- 6:05Speaker 1: In that circle?
- 6:06Speaker 5: Who and what are they bringing to the rotation?
- 6:09Speaker 2: Okay, speaking of speaking of blunts though, I can actually,
- 6:13Speaker 2: you know, this is hilarious because you know, on seventy show,
- 6:16Speaker 2: we used to have this circle downstairs in the basement.
- 6:20Speaker 1: And everyone was like, cool, so are you guys?
- 6:23Speaker 2: You guys smoking, you know, and we uh and to
- 6:28Speaker 2: be honest, like you never saw smoking.
- 6:30Speaker 1: You know, there was this mysterious smoke in the room.
- 6:32Speaker 2: We thought it was just a refrigerator overheating and to
- 6:35Speaker 2: smoke downstairs, so we never we never addressed, uh, the
- 6:40Speaker 2: smoke in the room.
- 6:41Speaker 1: Yes, they say, uh, so I don't know what that is.
- 6:43Speaker 2: I also, uh, I hate to be the boring guy,
- 6:46Speaker 2: but I've actually never I've never smoked in my life.
- 6:50Speaker 3: You've never smoked? You never smoked?
- 6:52Speaker 1: Yeah, I never smoked greeds, you know, and nothing.
- 6:55Speaker 2: Obviously I have nothing against it or anything, but it's
- 6:57Speaker 2: it's just for some reason, I was too busy learning
- 6:59Speaker 2: how speaking, and I think.
- 7:00Speaker 1: I never dabbled on it.
- 7:02Speaker 5: I know.
- 7:03Speaker 2: But but going back to the full circle of this thing,
- 7:06Speaker 2: how many people should we pick three? Or we were
- 7:09Speaker 2: like as many of people in the circle as we want.
- 7:12Speaker 6: I'm gonna just throw off different archetypes of people and
- 7:15Speaker 6: let's see who ends up passing that blunt.
- 7:18Speaker 2: For those of you who are listening to Leo's Boys,
- 7:20Speaker 2: he is a early producer. He's also the head of
- 7:23Speaker 2: our podcast division, a WV A WV Sound, which is
- 7:27Speaker 2: our podcast company. But anyways, Leo's So, I've never done it.
- 7:33Speaker 1: So I've never.
- 7:35Speaker 3: I can't smoke weed. I get paranoid.
- 7:39Speaker 1: You do, Yeah, what's that like?
- 7:42Speaker 3: PoID?
- 7:42Speaker 1: Oh? Really?
- 7:43Speaker 3: Like?
- 7:43Speaker 1: What comes to mind? How does it?
- 7:45Speaker 3: I just I don't relax. It's the opposite. You know.
- 7:48Speaker 4: Some people smoke because it makes them relax. It does
- 7:51Speaker 4: the absolute opposite. It makes me anxious. It gets me paranoid.
- 7:56Speaker 4: I can't sit. I you know, I don't know. Maybe
- 7:59Speaker 4: I'm a control freak.
- 8:00Speaker 3: I don't know. Maybe because I'm always hustling.
- 8:02Speaker 4: I've you know, I've had kids at such a young age,
- 8:05Speaker 4: so I always have to be responsible, and so my
- 8:08Speaker 4: brain goes to this other place that.
- 8:10Speaker 3: Is not comfortable. I mean, and no matter what, like
- 8:13Speaker 3: I've tried.
- 8:14Speaker 4: I've tried gummies to sleep, you know, because sometimes I
- 8:16Speaker 4: suffer from insomnia and even anything.
- 8:19Speaker 1: I mean, the cannabis are gummies.
- 8:21Speaker 4: The cannabis, gummies, anything with THC, like whether it's smoking
- 8:24Speaker 4: or like, it just doesn't affect me. It doesn't agree
- 8:27Speaker 4: with me right. And I've had people say to me, oh,
- 8:31Speaker 4: you're just smoking.
- 8:32Speaker 3: The wrong strain.
- 8:33Speaker 4: You're just it's sativa versus whatever the other one is,
- 8:37Speaker 4: you know, And I've tried it on and it all
- 8:39Speaker 4: affects me the same. So it's just my body doesn't
- 8:42Speaker 4: agree with it.
- 8:43Speaker 1: Yeah, I yeah, I can.
- 8:45Speaker 2: I mean, the only thing that I can relate it
- 8:47Speaker 2: to for me is if I have too much caffeine,
- 8:50Speaker 2: I'm having this anxiety like something.
- 8:52Speaker 1: Bad's gonna happen, something that's gonna happen, Like I can.
- 8:54Speaker 3: How many cups a day do you drink?
- 8:56Speaker 2: Let's see, I think not done many, but I like,
- 9:00Speaker 2: for example, when I'm at work, I'll do one in
- 9:02Speaker 2: the morning, I'll do one in the afternoon, and then
- 9:07Speaker 2: in the evening I kind of crave a cappuccino after dinner,
- 9:10Speaker 2: and I'll just sell a cappuccino and I'll still.
- 9:12Speaker 1: Go to sleep.
- 9:12Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm one.
- 9:15Speaker 1: That's it.
- 9:15Speaker 3: If I'm working.
- 9:16Speaker 4: If I'm working like a fourteen hour day, maybe one
- 9:19Speaker 4: after after lunch, but otherwise I'll stay dude.
- 9:22Speaker 2: By the way, I did a movie in Italy and
- 9:24Speaker 2: the whole entire crew was an Italian crew and it
- 9:27Speaker 2: was exper It was an expresso festival on set.
- 9:31Speaker 3: Like what do you mean, like how like that like the.
- 9:35Speaker 2: Crafty where they would have all the snacks and you know,
- 9:38Speaker 2: the breads and like you know, the chips or whatever.
- 9:40Speaker 2: It's like, you know, in every production, in every set,
- 9:43Speaker 2: you know, when you're shooting, they have a designated corner
- 9:46Speaker 2: where they have the snacks for everybody, you know on
- 9:48Speaker 2: the sets. So while during the day you can make
- 9:50Speaker 2: yourself a sand rich, you can grab a snack or whatever.
- 9:52Speaker 2: In Italy they have straight up an express a machine
- 9:56Speaker 2: like like.
- 9:56Speaker 3: A cart or something.
- 9:57Speaker 2: No, no, no, just like daddy can't express the machine
- 10:01Speaker 2: not like a drip coffee or like a regular coffee
- 10:04Speaker 2: drip or whatever.
- 10:05Speaker 3: But is somebody making it or do you have to
- 10:06Speaker 3: make it yourself?
- 10:07Speaker 1: You can make it yourself.
- 10:09Speaker 2: Mostly have somebody making you an expresso shirt and like
- 10:11Speaker 2: they do the expresso shot and they put like how
- 10:13Speaker 2: much how many? How many teaspoons of sugar and it's
- 10:15Speaker 2: like the coffee this little like uh get one, I
- 10:19Speaker 2: guess put the sugar. They like liquid candy. So I
- 10:23Speaker 2: was shooting this movie and I ended up having like.
- 10:25Speaker 1: Five or six of those a day. Damn is it
- 10:29Speaker 1: like rocket fuel?
- 10:30Speaker 2: It was more than rocket fuel. My performance in that
- 10:32Speaker 2: movie is incredible.
- 10:35Speaker 1: My performance incredible, incredible. The movie.
- 10:39Speaker 2: The movie is called A Sudden Case of Christmas and
- 10:42Speaker 2: it's from the direction.
- 10:43Speaker 1: Yeah Hulu, yeah, yeah.
- 10:46Speaker 2: And the and the movie is directed by the director
- 10:49Speaker 2: of Certain The Pity, And it was Danny de Vito
- 10:51Speaker 2: and Lucy de Vito. Yeah, uh, Antonella and you know,
- 10:55Speaker 2: it's an incredible cast and the McDonald and because Asuniga,
- 10:59Speaker 2: and you know, just a bunch of amazing homies.
- 11:01Speaker 3: Right.
- 11:02Speaker 2: But my performance was so good and I also had
- 11:06Speaker 2: to play the paranoid that it really really worked. But anyways,
- 11:11Speaker 2: back to this, uh the passing so leo, So, what
- 11:15Speaker 2: is a blunt rotation?
- 11:17Speaker 1: Like, what is that? What is how does that work?
- 11:18Speaker 1: What does that metaphor? What is that? What does that mean?
- 11:21Speaker 5: You know, it's something those gen z rs are kind
- 11:23Speaker 5: of trying to.
- 11:24Speaker 1: Oh, it's on fire in the gens.
- 11:25Speaker 6: Yeah, you know, I don't know if blunds are back,
- 11:30Speaker 6: but the saying is back.
- 11:31Speaker 2: It's here saying wait ants blunts are back? Is that
- 11:36Speaker 2: where the kids are doing that?
- 11:37Speaker 1: Again? There it goes the.
- 11:40Speaker 6: Neighborhood, but it's kind of like it's essentially just like
- 11:43Speaker 6: a prompt of being like, oh, that person has the
- 11:47Speaker 6: vibes that they would be someone fun I'd want to
- 11:50Speaker 6: hang out with.
- 11:52Speaker 2: So blood rotation is like like a hang the hangout
- 11:55Speaker 2: with people that you want to share something with, right, So.
- 11:58Speaker 6: Like exactly it could be like full like animals, like anything. Okay,
- 12:03Speaker 6: so I'm gonna list off different archetypes of things.
- 12:06Speaker 5: I get it, I get it, you get it?
- 12:07Speaker 1: Cool?
- 12:08Speaker 3: Yes, just do it?
- 12:10Speaker 5: To start?
- 12:11Speaker 6: Uh, which childhood TV character do you would you want
- 12:17Speaker 6: at the circle?
- 12:19Speaker 5: Would they be bringing snacks? What are they bringing? What
- 12:22Speaker 5: are they bringing to the table? Why would you want them.
- 12:24Speaker 1: Their childhood TV character?
- 12:27Speaker 2: I would I would say, I hate to be this predictable,
- 12:32Speaker 2: but if if I'm gonna go with childhood characters, I
- 12:34Speaker 2: would probably say desier Nas because I feel like he
- 12:40Speaker 2: would have so many crazy stories.
- 12:43Speaker 1: You know, I'm thinking about someone else, but.
- 12:47Speaker 2: I don't know, like my, my, my childhood characters are
- 12:51Speaker 2: super predictable, you know, I would say, I would say, yeah,
- 12:55Speaker 2: I would say Dozier Nants, I bet you have some
- 12:57Speaker 2: crazy stories and yeah, and I probably talk about his
- 13:01Speaker 2: Cuba days, you know, and write that could be really
- 13:03Speaker 2: interesting to me.
- 13:05Speaker 4: Hmm, wow, that's a that's a really good question trying
- 13:09Speaker 4: to think of like what shows when I was a
- 13:11Speaker 4: kid resonated enough with me?
- 13:17Speaker 1: God?
- 13:17Speaker 3: What did I watch when I was a kid?
- 13:19Speaker 1: Like Chips all the too?
- 13:22Speaker 4: I just, you know, what's always fascinating to me whenever
- 13:26Speaker 4: I meet those actors like in real life, Like I
- 13:28Speaker 4: just always want to know what like like how was
- 13:30Speaker 4: it for you back then?
- 13:32Speaker 1: You know?
- 13:32Speaker 4: Like I just always want to know what their journey
- 13:34Speaker 4: was and compare it to my journey. So I'd love
- 13:38Speaker 4: to just have a bunch of old school like Latin
- 13:41Speaker 4: guys who came before us, like like you said, like
- 13:43Speaker 4: DESI right and go what was that?
- 13:45Speaker 5: Like?
- 13:45Speaker 3: Man? I mean we kind of know.
- 13:47Speaker 4: The surface stories, right, we know the but like what,
- 13:50Speaker 4: like I want some inside stuff that I haven't heard yet,
- 13:53Speaker 4: and I want to compare it to my own journey.
- 13:55Speaker 1: Yeah, I've been you know, it'd be cool Stallone.
- 14:00Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean you talk about childhood, right, hero you
- 14:04Speaker 2: know like that that dude is Yeah, Well, Stellone would
- 14:07Speaker 2: have some cool stories, you know, a lot of studio
- 14:10Speaker 2: fifty four stories, studio, you.
- 14:13Speaker 1: Know what I mean.
- 14:14Speaker 4: What's interesting about Stallone is that, you know, because of
- 14:18Speaker 4: the way he sounds right, for lack of a better term,
- 14:22Speaker 4: I think that that people would be quick to write
- 14:24Speaker 4: them off. But like, what's so amazing to me that
- 14:27Speaker 4: I learned as I got older, was like he won
- 14:30Speaker 4: an Oscar for writing. He stepped behind the camera and
- 14:34Speaker 4: he directed and he acted in it, and he did
- 14:36Speaker 4: it all. Yeah, right when everyone told him that he
- 14:38Speaker 4: couldn't do it, and he was like, screw it, I
- 14:40Speaker 4: am going to do it.
- 14:41Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 14:41Speaker 3: I would love to know, like what gave him the
- 14:44Speaker 3: balls to do that?
- 14:46Speaker 1: You know.
- 14:47Speaker 2: Also speaking of courage and audacity, Ardnatwressanger, like his mentality.
- 14:56Speaker 2: He's he's mental strength, you know, for competition, and and
- 15:00Speaker 2: how he's always he never let competition died in his heart.
- 15:04Speaker 2: It's still right now he's in Venice trying to outlift
- 15:06Speaker 2: the other guy, you know what I mean.
- 15:09Speaker 1: I think that that'd be a really cool one.
- 15:11Speaker 4: You know who I would like on there. I'd like
- 15:13Speaker 4: Anthony Hopkins. I just saw the remains.
- 15:16Speaker 1: Of the of the day, that movie the other day.
- 15:20Speaker 3: He's one of those few actors that.
- 15:21Speaker 4: Just continually just blows me away by his subtlety. I
- 15:27Speaker 4: remember I worked with Alan Rickman, did two movies with
- 15:29Speaker 4: Alan Rickman, and he says something to me that was
- 15:31Speaker 4: so profound.
- 15:33Speaker 3: And he goes, yeah, you know, Freddy, you know.
- 15:35Speaker 4: Like when you when you send that message from your
- 15:38Speaker 4: brain to the body and then your body reacts. And
- 15:42Speaker 4: I'm like, what message are you talking about?
- 15:44Speaker 3: Man?
- 15:44Speaker 4: And I wanted to get so much deeper into sort
- 15:48Speaker 4: of his process, uh mentally and and and while he's
- 15:53Speaker 4: in the moment right and and and I watch Anthony Hopkins,
- 15:57Speaker 4: and I know that he's doing the same thing, you know,
- 16:00Speaker 4: I know that he's sending those messages to his body,
- 16:03Speaker 4: and he's so relaxed and his.
- 16:06Speaker 2: To your point, he's so in tuned with the effort.
- 16:11Speaker 2: How much effort does.
- 16:12Speaker 1: He really really really need when he's leaning into conviction drive?
- 16:20Speaker 2: Yeah, you think he's doing nothing, but he's doing everything.
- 16:25Speaker 4: And yeah, that's increds and incredible. Look, we could sit
- 16:29Speaker 4: here all day as actors and scream and do all
- 16:32Speaker 4: that and.
- 16:32Speaker 3: We're like, oh that was awesome.
- 16:34Speaker 4: Take right, Like, you know, because then it gets in
- 16:36Speaker 4: and he's like, yeah, you're like, oh my.
- 16:41Speaker 1: God, all of us out the watery crazy.
- 16:45Speaker 4: But people like that, I just want to know, like
- 16:47Speaker 4: what makes them tick, like what you know, so to
- 16:50Speaker 4: get them in the circle and to explain their secrets.
- 16:54Speaker 6: Yeah, you know, all right, we're gonna add another person
- 17:07Speaker 6: in the circle, a fictional villain. Fictional villain, like who's
- 17:12Speaker 6: coming through? What are they talking about? Are they deep?
- 17:15Speaker 6: Are they misunderstood?
- 17:19Speaker 1: I mean there's there's like a few that come to mind.
- 17:24Speaker 2: I would say, it depends what we want from that circle,
- 17:29Speaker 2: you know, because it could be really messy. Fictional villain.
- 17:36Speaker 2: I'd say that, Like, someone that I think will be
- 17:42Speaker 2: really interesting is Heath Ledgers joker, you know, because because
- 17:49Speaker 2: that's a conversation. It's not a villain that's just coming
- 17:53Speaker 2: in tossing cars apart, and like you know what I mean,
- 17:56Speaker 2: And like it's like somebody will come in and and
- 18:00Speaker 2: we'll sit down and talk about philosophy from an angle
- 18:04Speaker 2: of righteousness, not an angle of just like pure foolery, right,
- 18:14Speaker 2: I think he would he will give you a reason
- 18:16Speaker 2: that you would almost buy.
- 18:18Speaker 4: Yeah, some some some heavy justification and yeah, yeah, I
- 18:23Speaker 4: think the Ledgers Joker will be an interesting villain to
- 18:26Speaker 4: to have their.
- 18:30Speaker 3: Joaking Phoenix's Joker would be.
- 18:34Speaker 1: I've seen that'd be an uncomfortable circle.
- 18:37Speaker 4: Yeah, but but but like what what makes him tick?
- 18:41Speaker 4: Like what because it's so different, right, it's so it's
- 18:43Speaker 4: so much more rooted in reality, His relationship with his mother,
- 18:50Speaker 4: all of that would be so interesting to just and
- 18:54Speaker 4: and and again, all of it is justification. I think
- 18:57Speaker 4: for what they do there that it's always justified by something.
- 19:00Speaker 2: And I can also picture the two of us just
- 19:01Speaker 2: sitting there and watching those two jokers talk to each other, right,
- 19:05Speaker 2: I mean imagine that just those two guys just kind
- 19:08Speaker 2: of reasoning on the where he went wrong, where he
- 19:12Speaker 2: took a turn, Yeah, what happened that made them have
- 19:16Speaker 2: the outlook online for most importantly, exercise their own version
- 19:21Speaker 2: of justice, because none of them are just being evil,
- 19:24Speaker 2: They're just they're performing justice in a different angle, in
- 19:26Speaker 2: a different way.
- 19:27Speaker 1: Yeah, it's very interesting to think about that stuff to me.
- 19:31Speaker 4: Yeah, and so much resolve and so much belief in
- 19:35Speaker 4: what they're doing, right, because that's what it takes to.
- 19:38Speaker 1: Like go to those extents.
- 19:40Speaker 4: You got to really believe in what you're doing and
- 19:42Speaker 4: what you're trying to put out there in order to
- 19:44Speaker 4: be able to do that, right, which is a lot
- 19:47Speaker 4: of leaders in the world, right, they wouldn't be doing
- 19:50Speaker 4: what they're doing unless they really believed.
- 19:52Speaker 1: It is the Joker, the best villain of all time.
- 19:58Speaker 1: I mean, who's character itself? Who's better? Who's better?
- 20:03Speaker 2: I mean it has survived forty years or fifty years
- 20:07Speaker 2: of pop culture, right, like, it's still one of the
- 20:09Speaker 2: biggest threats any subliminal character or metaphorical character can go through.
- 20:14Speaker 3: Why do you think that is?
- 20:16Speaker 2: I think there, I think that that character, very early
- 20:19Speaker 2: on taught tapped into a little.
- 20:23Speaker 1: Bit of humanity's insanity.
- 20:26Speaker 2: I think at some point it triggered an emotion and
- 20:29Speaker 2: where humanity thought, maybe we all have a little bit
- 20:32Speaker 2: of Joker inside of us, right, I mean, and.
- 20:35Speaker 3: That's a superpower, right, Yeah, he doesn't fly.
- 20:38Speaker 1: He doesn't have superpower whatever.
- 20:40Speaker 2: It's a person could be like you and me, and
- 20:42Speaker 2: it's the prince of chaos, right right. But it's but
- 20:46Speaker 2: we all have these thoughts, right, like some of us
- 20:49Speaker 2: were just we're never going to be villains, right, But
- 20:52Speaker 2: I think, you know, I think that psychologically, I think
- 20:56Speaker 2: about that.
- 20:57Speaker 1: Maybe it's because it kind of tapped.
- 20:59Speaker 2: Into something that what if humanity had chosen insanity, right right, Like,
- 21:09Speaker 2: maybe there is this and none of us probably have
- 21:12Speaker 2: the courage to go that fever, right like, and I
- 21:14Speaker 2: know for a fact I will never be able to
- 21:17Speaker 2: even think that way.
- 21:19Speaker 1: But there is something about seeing it play.
- 21:21Speaker 2: Out, you know, and the many stories of the Joker
- 21:25Speaker 2: mean of that character kind of like creates this incredibly
- 21:29Speaker 2: colorful look through a viewfinder, through a different lens of
- 21:33Speaker 2: humanity that all of us never thought would be a
- 21:37Speaker 2: perspective that we could even sympathize with. And the earlier
- 21:41Speaker 2: renditions is like I just want to create chaos and
- 21:44Speaker 2: you know, and try to kill the bat right But
- 21:47Speaker 2: over time that character's philosophy for for that became probably
- 21:53Speaker 2: a lot more overlayer, a lot more in depth. And
- 21:57Speaker 2: I think that someone like you know, like like Keith
- 22:00Speaker 2: Ledgard or you know, even the nineties Batman, that Mark
- 22:04Speaker 2: Hamill voice joke, you know that that cartoon that the
- 22:09Speaker 2: Mark Hamill which by the way, beautiful one of the
- 22:12Speaker 2: best performances of all time. When it comes to a
- 22:14Speaker 2: Joker character, Mark Hamill embodies something that was just so
- 22:18Speaker 2: unhinged yet contained, and he the way he would use
- 22:23Speaker 2: the words as the weapon that to me felt like wow.
- 22:28Speaker 2: The way he would sing song it and use the
- 22:31Speaker 2: words as the daggers, not the fist, not the weapon,
- 22:35Speaker 2: you know, but the way he would poetically describe the
- 22:39Speaker 2: chaos he was there to deliver was something something I've
- 22:43Speaker 2: never been able to forget.
- 22:44Speaker 3: Really, man.
- 22:45Speaker 4: I remember hearing it a couple of times, but not
- 22:48Speaker 4: enough to still have.
- 22:49Speaker 1: That one of my favorites.
- 22:51Speaker 2: I mean, in his laugh, everybody that does a version
- 22:54Speaker 2: of Joker is trying to mimic his laugh, and oh
- 22:57Speaker 2: really yeah, Mark Cameron, he definitely he was one of
- 23:01Speaker 2: those guys that definitely a good job with it. Any
- 23:04Speaker 2: other any other if you feel like Jokers feels like
- 23:07Speaker 2: one of the most interesting.
- 23:08Speaker 1: But I'm wondering if anybody.
- 23:09Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean, because the Joker is the most grounded one, right,
- 23:14Speaker 4: Like I said, everyone else has like superpowers and so
- 23:17Speaker 4: then so then once it it goes there, it's elevated
- 23:20Speaker 4: into this sort of fantasy realm, right where the Joker
- 23:23Speaker 4: is more grounded, and you're like, oh, something like that
- 23:26Speaker 4: could potentially happen, right, I mean, all the all the classics, right,
- 23:30Speaker 4: like Darth Vader, you know, like.
- 23:32Speaker 1: My god, you know, hey, man, you knew you had
- 23:36Speaker 1: a son somewhere. Yeah?
- 23:38Speaker 2: My first question, how could you not know that you
- 23:42Speaker 2: had a kid somewhere?
- 23:43Speaker 1: Man, Hey, Darth, look at me in the eyes. Man,
- 23:46Speaker 1: you knew? Right, come on, man, you knew, you know
- 23:49Speaker 1: you had a son?
- 23:50Speaker 5: Man?
- 23:51Speaker 1: Yeah, I love that.
- 23:53Speaker 3: I love that.
- 23:53Speaker 4: Tofa cut his own version of Star Wars, and I
- 23:57Speaker 4: haven't seen it, but was I mean, did it did
- 24:00Speaker 4: it have a lot of heavy Darth Vader in it?
- 24:03Speaker 3: Did it? Did it sort of weed a lot of
- 24:05Speaker 3: the villains in it?
- 24:07Speaker 2: Well, it's funny because those movies didn't have Most of
- 24:09Speaker 2: those movies didn't have Darth Vader in it, right, because
- 24:13Speaker 2: he had the prequels.
- 24:14Speaker 1: There was no Darth Vader.
- 24:16Speaker 3: Right.
- 24:17Speaker 1: It was Anakin becoming vad Right.
- 24:20Speaker 2: So Anakin was like, was this young prodigy who was
- 24:24Speaker 2: supposed to be a promising and and and.
- 24:28Speaker 1: The right side of the forest, right.
- 24:30Speaker 2: I think he was supposed to become this Jedi master
- 24:33Speaker 2: and then he took a turn and chose the dark.
- 24:36Speaker 2: Towards the end of the franchise, where you know, they
- 24:39Speaker 2: pretty much ended with him wearing that suit, right, and
- 24:41Speaker 2: then the old school movies began. So here's another flip
- 24:47Speaker 2: on this game. You get a co from a agent
- 24:52Speaker 2: and it says, Matt Reeves or James Gunn wants you
- 24:56Speaker 2: to play the new Joker. Right, where do you begin
- 25:00Speaker 2: in doing the homework for that?
- 25:03Speaker 4: It's tough, right, because you're like Jesus Christ, that's such
- 25:07Speaker 4: a massive responsibility.
- 25:10Speaker 3: I don't know. That's tough, right, because like what do
- 25:12Speaker 3: you do do you watch everybody.
- 25:13Speaker 4: Else's performance and then and then and then go okay,
- 25:15Speaker 4: let me not do that, let me not do that, right,
- 25:18Speaker 4: But as a.
- 25:18Speaker 3: Human being, you absorb that as you as you watch it. Right.
- 25:22Speaker 2: So it's and that's fans, they undeniably some some of
- 25:25Speaker 2: that marked us so and then also like how much
- 25:29Speaker 2: do you how much do you include in your process
- 25:33Speaker 2: the expectation the fans have for that character.
- 25:36Speaker 1: Yeah, it's a tough one.
- 25:39Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, Like I loved I love that Joaquines was
- 25:42Speaker 4: really grounded, right, it was really grounded, and he made
- 25:46Speaker 4: very specific choices about who this guy was going to
- 25:50Speaker 4: be and they went with it.
- 25:52Speaker 3: Right.
- 25:52Speaker 4: It wasn't like, well so and so did that, so
- 25:55Speaker 4: let me take that and build on that.
- 25:57Speaker 3: He just kind of.
- 25:57Speaker 4: Created his own thing, right. I felt like the only
- 26:00Speaker 4: thing that was similar was like he had a laugh,
- 26:03Speaker 4: you know, and that sort of that's been the through.
- 26:06Speaker 2: Line, right, They all all those but even if their
- 26:08Speaker 2: laugh was rooted over a condition.
- 26:11Speaker 4: I thought that was so cool when he showed that
- 26:14Speaker 4: card to like the kid and the bus, you know,
- 26:16Speaker 4: I have this condition where I mean, that was just genius.
- 26:20Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 26:20Speaker 2: And but again that world was built to support the
- 26:25Speaker 2: becoming of a joker, right, right, But they called.
- 26:29Speaker 1: You and they're like, he's been badman for ten years.
- 26:33Speaker 2: Yeah, and now here comes the Jokers being joker for
- 26:37Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 26:38Speaker 1: Yeah, five of those.
- 26:39Speaker 4: What an immense responsibility? Huh wow, how do you take
- 26:43Speaker 4: that on?
- 26:44Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 26:44Speaker 4: I have the courage to go, I'm putting myself out
- 26:47Speaker 4: there like that.
- 26:48Speaker 3: Yeah, or like Jared Leto did it right? Yeah? Yeah, Yeah.
- 26:53Speaker 2: I thought Jared did a pretty great job. I think
- 26:58Speaker 2: that he should give more credit for that. I was
- 27:02Speaker 2: hoping that he'd go a little bit more hip hop
- 27:06Speaker 2: if he played hip hop joker for that type of
- 27:09Speaker 2: movie would have been.
- 27:11Speaker 1: Yeah, he had the gold.
- 27:12Speaker 2: Teeth, he had the chains, like he just played it like, yeah,
- 27:15Speaker 2: I don't know, like riff raff or something like that.
- 27:17Speaker 2: I think it could be really not that, But I'm
- 27:20Speaker 2: saying like the tone could have been interesting thing. It
- 27:23Speaker 2: would have been a different joker, in a really pop
- 27:26Speaker 2: cultural one too.
- 27:27Speaker 1: I mean, he did a phenomenal job. I think that
- 27:30Speaker 1: if he would have made.
- 27:30Speaker 2: A choice to go all the way hip hop dude,
- 27:34Speaker 2: I chained this the soundtrack, that.
- 27:37Speaker 1: Could have been crazy too.
- 27:38Speaker 4: Yeah, no, that would have been an interesting choice.
- 27:41Speaker 3: What other villains? What other villains you know?
- 27:46Speaker 1: I like, did you said Darth Vader? That's a very
- 27:48Speaker 1: good one.
- 27:49Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah, Like what other villains you know? Like that?
- 27:53Speaker 3: I've been so.
- 27:56Speaker 4: Enthralled with right that I would want to have them
- 27:58Speaker 4: around a blood tape.
- 28:00Speaker 3: I mean real life villains? Are there? Real life villains
- 28:03Speaker 3: that you know?
- 28:04Speaker 1: That's that's there? Are their dictators? Are their serial killers? Maybe?
- 28:09Speaker 3: You know? And asked the why of it?
- 28:12Speaker 4: All?
- 28:12Speaker 3: Right? You know, I don't know man.
- 28:17Speaker 1: In real life? I mean, so who in real life
- 28:19Speaker 1: is there?
- 28:20Speaker 2: Like is that one of the serial killers that kind
- 28:22Speaker 2: of has caught your attention?
- 28:24Speaker 1: You know? And like WHOA, this story is pretty crazy.
- 28:27Speaker 1: Some of them are just too sick.
- 28:28Speaker 3: To about Yeah, man, yeah, yeah I know that.
- 28:34Speaker 2: What about what about Jason? He never talked, so like
- 28:42Speaker 2: if that be the most boring invite, just be sitting there, Yeah,
- 28:46Speaker 2: he'd just been sitting there, like, bro, Like the point
- 28:48Speaker 2: is that you kind of like talk, you know, you're
- 28:51Speaker 2: here to talk to us, you know, Yeah, Jason and
- 28:54Speaker 2: uh and Freddy No, Freddy Krueger will be crazy. Yeah,
- 28:58Speaker 2: Freddy Krueger will be crazy for Also you listening to this,
- 29:01Speaker 2: who don't know who Freddy Krueger is.
- 29:03Speaker 1: Do yourself a favor.
- 29:04Speaker 2: Watch that first movie and then yeah, and good luck
- 29:07Speaker 2: trying to sleep that night.
- 29:08Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, Is there is there anyone like around the
- 29:13Speaker 4: around the circle? Like and and this is what you know,
- 29:17Speaker 4: you're you're so good at right, Like you're so good
- 29:20Speaker 4: at at at interviewing people and getting down to the
- 29:24Speaker 4: nitty gritty of the of the aspects that interest you.
- 29:28Speaker 3: Is there someone that you haven't met or interviewed.
- 29:32Speaker 4: They don't have to be a villain necessarily, but but
- 29:33Speaker 4: like someone that you've been like, I just want to
- 29:35Speaker 4: like talk to this person and getting to the psyche
- 29:39Speaker 4: of this person and ask very specific questions so that
- 29:43Speaker 4: I could learn from this person.
- 29:45Speaker 2: Yeah, past or president, Yeah, yeah, yeah. I think there's
- 29:52Speaker 2: a few people that I've been just kind of fascinated
- 29:56Speaker 2: by their method of capturing stories. Like I've always been
- 30:02Speaker 2: inspired and fascinated by the tool kid that Quantrarantino has
- 30:09Speaker 2: for character building and as an actor. He's one of
- 30:13Speaker 2: my favorite screenplay writers, just like he writes stuff that
- 30:18Speaker 2: really is asking for.
- 30:20Speaker 1: You to be free.
- 30:22Speaker 2: You have to be ce liberated in order to sort
- 30:24Speaker 2: through his content because you can be timid. You got
- 30:28Speaker 2: to step all the way down and play those and
- 30:30Speaker 2: there's a level. It's so funny when you watch the movies,
- 30:32Speaker 2: you're like, oh, this guy's make it look so easy.
- 30:35Speaker 1: But his writing is very supportive of going that far.
- 30:39Speaker 2: And it's not like a character makes all these crazy
- 30:41Speaker 2: choices and the dialogue is not there.
- 30:43Speaker 1: The dialogue is taking you there.
- 30:44Speaker 2: As an actor, you know, it's actually leading you into
- 30:47Speaker 2: these choices.
- 30:48Speaker 1: Right.
- 30:48Speaker 2: So I think that's one of the things that I
- 30:49Speaker 2: think when has done just so masterful, you know, and
- 30:53Speaker 2: especially when he casts people he really knows, I know
- 30:57Speaker 2: their strengths.
- 30:58Speaker 1: That's why you're here. Here's the dialogue.
- 31:01Speaker 2: Go run with it, like go go you know, I
- 31:04Speaker 2: mean you you can speak to that a lot better
- 31:06Speaker 2: than me, for sure. I mean, I definitely work with Robert.
- 31:12Speaker 2: And Robert is also very good about casting. You know,
- 31:16Speaker 2: he knows how to put people on the right dialogue,
- 31:19Speaker 2: you know, and those words you know you wear you
- 31:24Speaker 2: know you wear.
- 31:25Speaker 1: That stuff, you know. So I think I think Quinn
- 31:27Speaker 1: would be one.
- 31:27Speaker 2: I have so many questions about character bill, and especially
- 31:29Speaker 2: as someone who's like developing and producing stuff, like just
- 31:33Speaker 2: like how how do the like what are what are
- 31:36Speaker 2: some of like step one into of building a character.
- 31:38Speaker 2: The audience is going to go, that's either me or like, man,
- 31:41Speaker 2: I want to be like that or I'm like whoa,
- 31:43Speaker 2: I didn't know if person like that could exist.
- 31:45Speaker 1: Yeah, which he's got a talent for taking you there.
- 31:48Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 31:48Speaker 4: One of the most fascinating things I found by working
- 31:51Speaker 4: with with Quintin was what a movie savant he was.
- 31:57Speaker 4: I remember one time we're at a at a table
- 31:59Speaker 4: read or something thing and Robert was trying to make
- 32:01Speaker 4: a Robert Rodriguez by the way, I was trying to
- 32:04Speaker 4: make a reference to something or a movie, and.
- 32:07Speaker 3: He was like, he was like, oh man, it was
- 32:09Speaker 3: this movie. He was trying to remember it.
- 32:11Speaker 4: And then and then he says, quin remember that movie,
- 32:13Speaker 4: that it was this and it was that, and he
- 32:15Speaker 4: gave him like a few details, and Quentin said, oh,
- 32:18Speaker 4: you're talking about this movie and it started this actor
- 32:22Speaker 4: and it came out this year and this person directed it.
- 32:25Speaker 2: Yeah, and the other actor was supposed to play the
- 32:27Speaker 2: lead character. But then ended, I'm not making it. Like yeah,
- 32:30Speaker 2: it's like that.
- 32:31Speaker 4: I was so blown away by his He has this
- 32:34Speaker 4: library and his brain of.
- 32:36Speaker 2: Musage by the way, yea, because he can he literally
- 32:40Speaker 2: goes to his vinyl collection.
- 32:42Speaker 1: Man, yeah, this is the song.
- 32:43Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, you know I want this song to play
- 32:45Speaker 2: when the Catallac is driving down the street.
- 32:48Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 32:48Speaker 4: And you know he's a big music fan too, right,
- 32:51Speaker 4: So it's a combination of like him being this this
- 32:54Speaker 4: absolute music buff music library with being a music efficient,
- 33:00Speaker 4: right and knowing good music and and you know, being
- 33:05Speaker 4: growing up in la and being around people where you
- 33:08Speaker 4: heard people of other ethnicities and other languages and being
- 33:12Speaker 4: able to incorporate all of that and just learning from
- 33:14Speaker 4: the vast movies that you've seen.
- 33:16Speaker 2: You know, we should figure out how to have a
- 33:21Speaker 2: little bit of a deep die with with either Quant
- 33:24Speaker 2: or Robert. You know, we should invite them to the
- 33:26Speaker 2: show and just like say, hey, let's just riff on movies,
- 33:29Speaker 2: let's talk about inspiration and stuff like.
- 33:31Speaker 1: It'd be really great to have them on.
- 33:34Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, those guys working with those guys.
- 33:36Speaker 1: Was it was. I was just talking to Robert today.
- 33:39Speaker 1: So last week, Oh cool?
- 33:41Speaker 3: Where in Austin at his house?
- 33:42Speaker 1: All you went, oh that's great.
- 33:44Speaker 4: Yeah yeah, And we were talking about doing this other
- 33:48Speaker 4: thing together and he was like, well, I'm in town, man,
- 33:50Speaker 4: come through, And so I came to.
- 33:51Speaker 3: So that's aweso there to go talk about this sort
- 33:53Speaker 3: of thing.
- 33:54Speaker 2: Yeah, so him and I are also working on some stuff.
- 33:58Speaker 2: Can we have to tell you about? But but yeah,
- 34:01Speaker 2: it'd be great to have Robert here too. You know,
- 34:04Speaker 2: Robert be such a great.
- 34:06Speaker 3: Chat thinking man.
- 34:08Speaker 2: Absolutely absolutely, Well, well we'll talk about that.
- 34:20Speaker 1: Okay, Leo, what's the next thing? We got?
- 34:22Speaker 5: Next? Up? Who from Game of Thrones do you want
- 34:25Speaker 5: at this table with everyone else?
- 34:28Speaker 1: Mmmm?
- 34:29Speaker 3: From Game of Thrones?
- 34:30Speaker 1: Wow? They're dragon? Absolutely Dragon.
- 34:35Speaker 4: I get Brian Cogman around the table. Who is your friend?
- 34:40Speaker 4: You were so gracious to introduce me to my brother,
- 34:43Speaker 4: who was an incredible writer, and we're both HBO alumni,
- 34:48Speaker 4: and I've had wonderful conversations with him about Game of Thrones.
- 34:52Speaker 2: I told him the other day, we should set up
- 34:54Speaker 2: a dinner with all of us together.
- 34:56Speaker 1: I'd love to.
- 34:56Speaker 2: And his wife is love so great, so talented too. Yeah, yeah,
- 35:02Speaker 2: it's like they're together. It's not fair, but yeah, that
- 35:04Speaker 2: that would be a great invite because yeah, you know,
- 35:08Speaker 2: you also could learn so much about you know, the
- 35:10Speaker 2: stuff that he did.
- 35:11Speaker 1: He was the guy on set, you know, he was.
- 35:13Speaker 1: He was he was the He's one of the reasons.
- 35:16Speaker 3: The think of it. He was the thick of it.
- 35:18Speaker 4: I told him this funny story I was doing. I
- 35:21Speaker 4: was doing a movie with Sean Bean in the Ukraine
- 35:24Speaker 4: around that time, and uh, and I was I was
- 35:27Speaker 4: doing this other project at the same time, and I
- 35:29Speaker 4: was like, I think it was on TV. And this
- 35:33Speaker 4: was at a time when like actors were like, I
- 35:35Speaker 4: don't want to do TV maybe, you know, And so
- 35:39Speaker 4: I go, I go, hey, Sean, Man, you ever think
- 35:41Speaker 4: about doing TV?
- 35:42Speaker 3: I consider it if it's the right thing.
- 35:44Speaker 4: And I started to tell him about the thing that
- 35:46Speaker 4: I was doing and how I thought he'd be great
- 35:49Speaker 4: in it, and.
- 35:49Speaker 3: He goes, well, I just did the thing for HBO.
- 35:54Speaker 4: I don't know, man, it's supposed to have like dragons
- 35:56Speaker 4: in it, and I don't know if it's going to
- 35:58Speaker 4: be any good. But but yeah, i'd love to explore
- 36:01Speaker 4: what but what are you talking about?
- 36:03Speaker 3: I go, Oh, you just work for HBO. He goes, yeah, man,
- 36:05Speaker 3: I said I was there for.
- 36:06Speaker 1: As we all are.
- 36:08Speaker 2: Sometimes we're like, I don't know, man, I'm just happy
- 36:10Speaker 2: to be at work.
- 36:11Speaker 3: And yeah, I don't know it's going to be any good.
- 36:13Speaker 4: We just shot the pilot, you know, I don't know,
- 36:16Speaker 4: and then like a year later, a Game of Thrones
- 36:18Speaker 4: comes out it.
- 36:20Speaker 1: Takes over the planet quite literally.
- 36:22Speaker 2: Yeah you know, yeah, yeah, No, Brian is one of
- 36:24Speaker 2: those very special voices and writers. You know, he's just
- 36:28Speaker 2: ting to do so many great things. I would say
- 36:31Speaker 2: for me from Game of Thrones, who who Yeah, that's tough, man,
- 36:40Speaker 2: It's just.
- 36:41Speaker 1: Tough because every character is so good.
- 36:46Speaker 3: Or George R. R. Martin, like, you know what, it
- 36:51Speaker 3: was the first show I've.
- 36:52Speaker 4: Ever seen where they had like incest and I was like,
- 36:56Speaker 4: what's the motiv where? You know, I never knew what
- 36:58Speaker 4: the motivation was behind that.
- 37:00Speaker 2: I know, so so there's two people, right that kind
- 37:02Speaker 2: of came kind of went at the same time. Uh,
- 37:06Speaker 2: Pedro Pascal, Yeah, and like, do you even know what
- 37:10Speaker 2: was gonna what was gonna.
- 37:11Speaker 1: Do for your career? Crazy?
- 37:14Speaker 2: Like he just rolled in so handsome, killing it on screen,
- 37:17Speaker 2: just doing his thing, and then all of a sudden boom.
- 37:19Speaker 1: Yeah, kind of amazing. Same thing with Jess Momoa was
- 37:24Speaker 1: in the first season.
- 37:25Speaker 4: Yeah, that's right, uh right, right right.
- 37:29Speaker 2: Yeah, so these individuals have come through this show and
- 37:32Speaker 2: have just like, you know, the other thing.
- 37:35Speaker 1: And Momo is also another great guy.
- 37:36Speaker 2: Oh yeah, Yeah, He's an amazing dude, really cool, good
- 37:39Speaker 2: and I met him so many times and hung with
- 37:42Speaker 2: him a few times throughout the years, and you know,
- 37:44Speaker 2: we have a lot a bunch of friends in common,
- 37:49Speaker 2: good friends with him, and you know, worked with him
- 37:51Speaker 2: for a few times. So he's he's a really good dude.
- 37:55Speaker 2: But yeah, so that that would be that for for
- 37:58Speaker 2: us on that What what do you think next?
- 38:01Speaker 6: Let's round it out with who do you want there
- 38:05Speaker 6: to give you a good laugh?
- 38:08Speaker 1: Oh, a good laugh? Like a funny person?
- 38:10Speaker 5: Yeah, just to round it out.
- 38:13Speaker 3: A funny person.
- 38:16Speaker 4: I think that that Jim Carrey right, And this is
- 38:19Speaker 4: just sort of like I think he's a once in
- 38:22Speaker 4: a lifetime comedian actor totally.
- 38:25Speaker 3: I don't think we're going to see another one.
- 38:27Speaker 1: I love how you described him comedian actor.
- 38:30Speaker 2: Yeah, because he was able to translate his tone into
- 38:33Speaker 2: an actual narrative storytelling right, like a lot of stuff.
- 38:38Speaker 2: A lot of times a comedy is stuck in a
- 38:40Speaker 2: role where he's just doing the punchlines in the in
- 38:42Speaker 2: the movie, yeah, and not technically telling the story.
- 38:45Speaker 1: They always get paired up with somebody.
- 38:47Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 38:48Speaker 2: He was one of those guys who who grabbed everything
- 38:50Speaker 2: that was his strength and made it the actual character.
- 38:54Speaker 1: And I think that was pretty brilliant.
- 38:56Speaker 4: I just think I just think you you see what
- 39:00Speaker 4: he does, and and I think he's light years, light
- 39:04Speaker 4: years ahead of people who were just fun. A lot
- 39:07Speaker 4: of a lot of really really funny people out there,
- 39:09Speaker 4: but he's he's like an up, he's like in a
- 39:11Speaker 4: category by himself.
- 39:13Speaker 3: I think.
- 39:15Speaker 2: I like him a lot for a good laugh. I
- 39:22Speaker 2: think Tom Hanks, Tom Hanks, he tells some really funny stories. Yeah,
- 39:27Speaker 2: he's just like a pretty great But I mean, if
- 39:29Speaker 2: you're gonna go like community, like you went with someone
- 39:31Speaker 2: that that prolific in comedy, I would probably say, I
- 39:37Speaker 2: don't know, I'll go with the comic. Like I think
- 39:43Speaker 2: Kevin hard Is is really fun. He's a really good dude.
- 39:46Speaker 2: I just appreciate him and love him so much. He's
- 39:48Speaker 2: always been a solid, solid dude. So he'd be an
- 39:52Speaker 2: amazing Hank because he's just such a good dude. I
- 39:55Speaker 2: think Peters Tooters is hilarious. I remember he showed up
- 39:59Speaker 2: to my birth one time. He grabbed the microphone from
- 40:02Speaker 2: DJ booth and proceeded to roast everyone on my birthday,
- 40:05Speaker 2: you know, and.
- 40:06Speaker 3: It was just in real time, in real time hilarious.
- 40:09Speaker 1: He goes, who are you guys? How do you know Wilmer? Alter?
- 40:11Speaker 1: How you know Wilmer?
- 40:12Speaker 2: Then he started, you know, going around the room. But
- 40:14Speaker 2: Russell Recipeters is one of my dearest friends I went to.
- 40:17Speaker 2: I went on a US SOL tour with him and
- 40:20Speaker 2: we we went to a lot of countries together, we
- 40:22Speaker 2: entertained troops and he did his sad and absolutely roasted
- 40:26Speaker 2: everyone and it was hilarious. He's just and also a
- 40:29Speaker 2: really great guy and super talented.
- 40:31Speaker 4: Yeah you know how I met at your at your
- 40:33Speaker 4: Christmas party? Uh, Damon Wayne's junior.
- 40:36Speaker 1: Oh yeah, that's my guy.
- 40:38Speaker 4: I've been so impressed by his family man, and the
- 40:42Speaker 4: stuff that his family has done collectively individually. Yeah, I
- 40:47Speaker 4: just think they're so immensely talented.
- 40:49Speaker 2: And Damon, uh, Damon Junior is going to work forever.
- 40:55Speaker 2: He's also the next generation. He's like, you know, the
- 40:59Speaker 2: new the next after for that family. You know, he's
- 41:01Speaker 2: a producer. You know, he's a real comedian. He's out
- 41:05Speaker 2: there at the all the clubs doing the comedy thing
- 41:07Speaker 2: and oh yeah.
- 41:08Speaker 3: Oh yeah, I don't know who's doing Oh.
- 41:09Speaker 1: Yeah, he said, the laugh Factory. And he also tours
- 41:12Speaker 1: all the time.
- 41:12Speaker 2: He goes to like, hey, I'm gonna be in uh,
- 41:14Speaker 2: you know, Dallas, Texas, you know on Saturday, where I'm
- 41:17Speaker 2: gonna be in like Jacksonville blah blah blah. You know,
- 41:19Speaker 2: like he's out there traveling and doing the comic route
- 41:23Speaker 2: and he's really growing as that. And then he's also
- 41:25Speaker 2: doing all kinds of stuff and producing and start of
- 41:29Speaker 2: his own shows. And he also has the first of
- 41:31Speaker 2: CBS tutors for producing and it's you know, it's made
- 41:34Speaker 2: a lot.
- 41:34Speaker 1: Of stuff over there.
- 41:35Speaker 3: Oh nice man. Yeah, yeah, that show he had with
- 41:37Speaker 3: his father, right, I mean house, How brilliant was that?
- 41:40Speaker 1: Yeah, they're just great.
- 41:42Speaker 4: I just think his whole family is so immensely talented man,
- 41:45Speaker 4: and and there's something about their energy and the way
- 41:48Speaker 4: they carry themselves.
- 41:49Speaker 2: Marlon is another great hang, He's a beautiful person, great guy,
- 41:53Speaker 2: so supportive, so he he shows up. You know, he's
- 41:57Speaker 2: just another really good one on the good ones.
- 41:59Speaker 1: But but yeah, I mean.
- 42:01Speaker 3: Robin Williams, right, like.
- 42:03Speaker 2: Yeah, planets Robin Williams, Like if you're gonna just invite
- 42:09Speaker 2: one person, I mean Robin Williams.
- 42:11Speaker 4: I think he's kind of like Jim Carrey, like in
- 42:13Speaker 4: his own planet, you know.
- 42:15Speaker 2: And he's on you know, he's just he's going in.
- 42:18Speaker 2: But uh, you know, rest in peace, Robin Williams. You know,
- 42:21Speaker 2: no one did it better than him, right, I mean
- 42:23Speaker 2: the dude was winning Oscars.
- 42:25Speaker 1: Bro.
- 42:27Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, it's pretty unbelievable. I would say Robin Williams,
- 42:31Speaker 2: uh wins any of those. You know, I think he
- 42:35Speaker 2: you know, he also played didn't he play a villain?
- 42:38Speaker 2: And uh he did that movie.
- 42:40Speaker 4: Oh, the Christopher Nolan movie uh with with Alpacino, yea Insomnia?
- 42:47Speaker 2: Yes, you know, so he could be one of the villains, right,
- 42:51Speaker 2: He definitely can be one of those comedy actors.
- 42:53Speaker 1: And one hour photo he did's one hour photo. That's
- 42:57Speaker 1: what I was thinking about. Yeah, so that's really great.
